Trucker Killed in Nighttime Shooting | Odessa News
A 42-year-old trucking entrepreneur, Aaron Jordan, was fatally shot early Sunday morning on West 42nd Street during a chaotic gunfight with Eduardo Sotelo. Witnesses say shots erupted at a party at Jordan’s ranch, leaving bullet-riddled gates and sparking a deadly exchange—Sotelo fled in a GMC pickup and dumped the weapon. Now arrested, Sotelo faces first-degree murder and tampering charges with a $1.025 million bail. The investigation continues as the community mourns a well-known local figure.
