🚨The UNTHINKABLE is Happening!🚨 - Precious Metals Investors MUST Hear THIS NOW! - (Silver & Gold) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
$500 silver, yes, you heard that right.
0:05
You may not want to hear about that on a day like today, but
0:07
there's a real chart from two years ago.
0:10
One of the smartest people out there, we're going to look at it
0:13
and he has been spot on and we are heading for $500 silver.
0:18
Don't you mind one bit what's happening today?
0:21
I have something very important to say to you and I want to say
0:24
it right now and I'm also saying it to myself, right?
0:27
Days like today, this morning, waking, seeing what's going on
0:31
in the silver market. The volatility can drive us all
0:34
a little crazy, but we need to remember something so powerful.
0:39
This is all short term noise right now.
0:44
Everything that's driving all the markets, including silver
0:47
and gold on a short term noise basis is headlines mostly from
0:52
Trump. Of course, what happened this
0:54
morning was a result of the speech that he gave last night.
0:57
But we will decouple from that noise in the long term, even in
1:03
the medium term, and we're starting to see a little bit of
1:05
that already. It'll be very similar to how
1:09
gold and silver react to inflation.
1:11
A lot of times if inflation's going up, right, everybody says,
1:15
oh, you got to sell gold, you got to sell silver.
1:17
But we know the long term fundamental fact that higher
1:21
inflation always means for higher gold and silver prices,
1:26
it's very similar. The big key take away that we
1:29
can feel good about and remember is that on a medium term and a
1:33
long term and even a short medium term basis, right?
1:37
Do you feel it? Like I feel it, the fundamental
1:40
factors driving the silver and gold price absolutely have never
1:45
been better in our lifetimes. You're probably, you know,
1:47
around my age. I'm in my mid to late 50s.
1:50
We've never seen anything like this before.
1:52
So while the volatility is no fun, we like volatile days like
1:57
yesterday when it's real green, we are going to have big red
2:00
days. But the trend is up if we choose
2:03
to measure the value of our silver and gold in U.S. dollars.
2:07
Let's go out and do a quick check on what's happening in the
2:10
markets right now. And thanks to all of you that
2:13
joined me, joined us for the interview with Leo earlier.
2:17
And here we go. OK, only down to 87.
2:22
Seemed like this morning it was almost $6 per oz on silver that
2:26
we were down gold down 93. Since we're out here, let's go
2:30
take a quick look at the US dollar index, which is just
2:33
below 100. Remember, on a long term basis,
2:37
right, talking like decades and decades back to the 1980s, we
2:41
are still historically not at record highs by any stretch, but
2:45
very high in the US dollar index.
2:48
And as that comes back, we're going to see we're going to see
2:51
more of a tailwind for the price of gold and silver, I'll tell
2:56
you. And then we're going to go look
2:57
at the headline that's driving everything right now.
2:59
But before we do that, the most important thing is you.
3:02
Yeah, you. Thanks for joining, Susie and I
3:05
down here in the basement. Please subscribe to the channel.
3:08
That's free. Give the video a thumbs up.
3:11
That's free. And it feels good.
3:13
And leave a comment in the comment section.
3:16
You can say whatever you want as long as it's not like dirty or
3:20
really mean spirited, OK? But anything that we can learn
3:24
from each other. You don't have to agree with me.
3:26
I believe we're going to go to $500 silver.
3:28
I'm going to show you a chart from Patrick Karen, the guru
3:31
himself from two years ago, which has proven to be very,
3:36
very present in terms of what we're doing right now.
3:39
By the way, today is upstairs. Susie the one and only.
3:42
Today is her birthday. Everybody please say happy
3:47
birthday to Susie. And if any super chats, super
3:49
chats are never expected, always appreciated.
3:51
But if you generously do give one, all of the proceeds will go
3:55
to upstairs Susie today. I think they all do anyway.
3:58
But specifically today, OK, let's talk about the headlines
4:01
and then we're going to go into this seriously, $500 silver
4:05
chart, not like some crazy guy in his basement saying I think
4:08
silver is going to go to 500. No, like a real scientific
4:12
chartist. But before we do that, this is
4:16
what's driving the markets today from zero oil dropped as Iran
4:21
and Oman draft protocol to reopen Hormuz after Trump's
4:26
overnight threats. OK, so much.
4:29
Everything is so headline driven right now.
4:33
And and that's not going to change probably who knows guys
4:37
for maybe a month. I'd be surprised if even a month
4:40
from now the impact that the headlines have on all the
4:43
markets, oil, gold, silver, the general markets.
4:47
But remember, I'll say it one more time, will not say it
4:49
again. It's all short term noise now.
4:53
Let's go. What do you say?
4:58
What do you say we talk about $500 silver?
5:01
You like that, don't you? I like that.
5:03
But this is real and I'm going to show you this right now from
5:06
Patrick Karam. I love this guy.
5:08
He's one of the most respected chartist out there.
5:12
He said my very bullish road map for silver created over two
5:17
years ago and he's got the proof here.
5:21
The first target area has been reached.
5:24
Now we're preparing the setup for the final target at $500.
5:29
Now I want to mention as well, even like in the last week or
5:32
two, this guy's not a permeable. He's not out there constantly
5:36
saying silver's going to just go up and up and up and up, right?
5:39
You know, maybe I am more of a permeable, maybe you are, but
5:42
he's not. In the last few weeks, I
5:44
remember seeing a couple posts from him that were short term
5:48
bearish on the silver price. But take a look, look at this.
5:51
This is a post from January 25th of 2024.
5:56
Let me go down here. Yeah, there it is, right below
6:00
January 25th, 2024. He says back then nobody dares
6:05
mention triple digit silver anymore, yet I will.
6:10
Here's the road map for $125.00. Does that price sound familiar
6:15
recently? And then $500.
6:19
And let's pull up his chart and see what he is talking about
6:23
again, right, This is where the silver price was.
6:27
I'll circle it when he put this chart out.
6:29
OK, around what, $24.00 basically.
6:33
OK, so his chart, he says they'll be this first move right
6:39
up above the cup member. We've got the world's biggest
6:42
cup and handle and we had not even broken out yet.
6:46
We were still right in this range.
6:48
We've made that first breakout move, number one move #2 on his
6:53
chart to the $125.00 range. What he says will happen next.
6:59
Let me get this off there, OK? Is we're going to bounce around,
7:04
right and look at look at what he put on this chart.
7:07
I mean, here's $75 basically where we are right now.
7:11
It looks like we're right in that zone.
7:14
And then we'll come back, we'll test again, come back.
7:17
He's got another little cup and handle.
7:19
And then the big move to $500 silver.
7:24
Remember guys, he put this chart out two years ago, OK?
7:29
And we're looking, oh, you know, somewhere in the next 5 years
7:34
roughly that we will have this price target of $500 silver.
7:38
Now, I don't know how you feel about $500 silver, right?
7:42
Maybe $500 silver. Just consider this today, right?
7:47
Saying $500 silver sounds a lot like saying triple digit silver
7:52
like Keith Newmeyer from First Majestic Silver said for a
7:55
decade, right when the price was at 25 or $30.00, right?
8:00
You say, oh, whatever, That was just a year ago.
8:03
So for now for us to hear $500 silver and think, oh, that's I
8:08
got news for you guys. OK, I'm for, I'm preparing in my
8:12
lifetime for silver prices that are that you won't even believe
8:17
what I would say. I, you know, in the thousands is
8:20
what I believe we will see right As measured in U.S. dollars.
8:24
We got to remember that's the big, big key.
8:28
We're measuring the price of silver in U.S. dollars.
8:33
We know I won't go down that path.
8:34
But you know, and I've got a a bit later, we're going to hear
8:38
from the guru himself, OK, the Jeffrey Gunlock, the man, OK
8:43
about what his thoughts on gold. And it's, it's all it's, it's
8:47
crazy. So I don't know, I just want to
8:50
drive that point home into myself and to you as well.
8:53
It's like you hear $500 silver and you think, oh, that never
8:56
happened, you know? No, it can happen, OK.
9:00
I mean, remember just back, what, five years ago during C-19
9:05
crisis, right? I sat down here, right over
9:07
there, and we were talking about a silver price.
9:09
What was it, $12.00 per oz Silver 10X from there in five
9:15
years up to 120. Why can't silver 10X again from
9:20
70 to 700? Maybe Mr. Karen will have to
9:24
have to modify his chart anyhow. All right.
9:29
Hey, before we go any further. Oh, my gosh.
9:31
I forgot to put my signs up. Hold on one second.
9:34
Hold on. I want to say thank you to 1st
9:38
Mint for sponsoring Ron's basement.
9:41
I want to say thank you to Brixton Metals for sponsoring
9:46
Ron's basement and of course, my long term sponsor, First Mining
9:52
Gold for sponsoring Ron's basement.
9:55
Oh boy, everything's falling apart.
9:57
It's Susie's birthday. Don't forget, tell Susie, happy
10:00
birthday. But if you want to get your
10:01
hands on silver, right, real silver, have a premium retail
10:05
experience, great prices, great selection, great service.
10:09
Silver that literally goes directly from the mine to the
10:12
meant to you. Check out first meant Brixton
10:14
Metals is a Canadian metals exploration company.
10:18
They've got big projects in Canada and the United States,
10:22
right? North America only we're talking
10:24
copper, gold, silver, cobalt, nickel, super exciting company
10:28
and of course, first mining gold.
10:30
They've got 2 huge development stage, advanced development
10:34
stage projects in Canada, spring Pull in Ontario, and Du Parquet
10:38
located in Quebec. I got links to these companies
10:41
in the description, you can check them out.
10:43
Always remember though, please guys, whether we're talking
10:46
about mining, stocks or metals, I'm not a financial advisor.
10:51
Always do your own research and I will give you this advice.
10:54
Please always be responsible, diversify dollar cost, average,
10:59
all that great stuff. OK, we just talked about $500
11:02
silver. This will put a big smile on
11:04
your face as well. Maybe, maybe it's time for us to
11:07
have a little bit of a, a moment of gratitude together because
11:10
silver Dijon put this out and I thought it summed up things
11:15
very. I didn't realize this was the
11:17
case, but exactly 1 year ago from today, silver was trading
11:24
at $33 and proceeded to drop 17% over the next three days only to
11:33
open on Sunday at a low of $28.00.
11:37
Sentiment was 100 times worse than for all of you who are
11:42
bummed, All right, maybe me a little bit as well, about $70
11:47
silver, you've been spoiled. And look at this chart.
11:50
It's true. Hold on here.
11:52
Oh, OK, here, let me, I'll circle this for you.
11:55
Here's the proof, right? This is Wednesday, the 2nd of
11:59
April of 2025, exactly 1 year ago, right?
12:04
There's silver at 33, there's silver dropping all the way
12:08
down, I mean, heck, all the way to 28 right here on Sunday
12:13
night, guys. So as we as we navigate these
12:16
waters, I think it's also important that we do remember
12:20
from where we have come and, and to where we are going.
12:24
But the mining stocks are telling us something very
12:28
interesting about gold and silver.
12:31
And this has occurred over the last few days.
12:33
I noticed it and some of the other people that I talked to
12:37
also noticed this. And it's a very good sign for
12:40
the actual metals themselves as well.
12:43
Let's see what Gary Bohm had to say about it.
12:47
He said if gold bounces, OK, so the price of gold goes up, but
12:52
the miners lag, it's often a sign that institutional capital
12:57
does not trust the rally, OK. It signals that the bounce is
13:03
viewed as temporary and that lower prices are likely, excuse
13:10
me, likely ahead. We saw this before the war
13:13
started. That's exactly the opposite of
13:16
what we're seeing today. The miners are just not
13:19
participating in the rally. This was yesterday.
13:23
They're leading it. Last five days, gold was up 9%
13:27
in the GDX, which measures the the gold mining companies, was
13:31
up 15%. So this is a very important
13:35
critical concept for us to understand.
13:38
If the price of gold and silver applies to silver as well goes
13:42
up, but the mining stocks lag, they don't go up as much.
13:46
OK, that's not a good sign for the price of the metal.
13:50
If the gold and silver price go up and the mining stocks go up
13:55
even more, that's a big sign that big money, institutional
13:59
money believes that the price of the metals is going to stay
14:04
higher, right? Not going to pull back.
14:07
And that I noticed it couple other like I said, big people in
14:11
the in the metal sector, CE OS of mining companies that I
14:14
chatted with over the last few days noticed it.
14:17
OK, we've gone from this period of wait till you see this next
14:21
thing, this period of really horrible sentiment, right?
14:25
It can be measured more in the mining stocks in the metal
14:29
sector. Like we had this nosedive,
14:31
right? And then things turned around.
14:33
But again, there's a lot of short term noise.
14:35
So we can't let these emotions well, you know, if you believe
14:40
in the long term story for gold and silver, which I have a
14:43
feeling you do, we can't let the short term emotional gyrations
14:48
dictate decisions that we make. But look at this.
14:51
We're going to I'll I'll show you some proof of how bad
14:54
sentiment has got had got had gotten recently and it has
14:58
popped up a bit. But Ronnie Stoverly yes, the
15:02
Ronnie Stoverly. All right, the Super smart
15:06
respected guy in the gold and silver sector sentiment around
15:11
mining stocks is about as bad as it gets and that's usually worth
15:16
paying attention to. He put this out yesterday on
15:20
April first, OK? And on the bottom there is the
15:24
is the measurement of sentiment, as you can see, right.
15:28
And this goes all the way back to 2021, despite the fact that
15:33
we still have 44, forty, $500 gold, $7570 silver sentiment.
15:38
It can't go lower than that. I circled the zero on the bottom
15:42
right corner. Look at how low it got, guys.
15:46
I mean, really, truly insane. And remember, this cannot go, it
15:51
cannot go any lower than this level right here, OK.
15:57
And as you can see over all those years, it was much, much
16:01
higher. That is a good sign for not just
16:04
the precious metals mining stocks, but also absolutely for
16:09
the metals themselves. It's all one big ecosystem.
16:12
So maybe you just own physical silver, maybe you just own
16:15
physical globe, maybe you just own metal stocks.
16:18
It doesn't matter. They're all part really truly of
16:22
the same ecosystem that that that reacts very similarly to
16:27
the overall sentiment within that entire ecosystem.
16:30
And when it gets that low, I used to, I mean, look, we used
16:34
to joke around down here in the basement.
16:35
I would say sentiment is literally on the basement floor.
16:39
Well, as of yesterday or as of Tuesday, it was on the basement
16:43
floor. But it can't go any lower.
16:46
It can only get better. And again, that's a great thing
16:49
for for not just the metals, but also the mining stocks as well.
16:53
What about Jeffrey? Look, Jeffrey Gunlock is the
16:56
king, literally. Jeffrey Gunlock, if you haven't
17:00
heard of him, is referred to as the bond king.
17:03
The bond king, He, he started a company called Double Line Asset
17:08
Management, Double Line Capital. I think it is he's a very
17:12
outspoken person, right? He's part of the traditional
17:15
finance world, but he's he's not afraid to speak his mind.
17:19
He's somebody that like when I hear him talk, he's kind of a
17:22
not a rogue, but an independent thinker in the world of the big
17:27
finance sector. He's got some interesting things
17:30
to say about gold. OK, I'm going to spot 2 minutes
17:33
long, but remember, he doesn't talk that often publicly, right?
17:38
And when he does, he's definitely worth listening to.
17:41
And when and he talks about gold, we're really going to perk
17:44
up. Let me pull this up for you, and
17:46
then I will be quiet. But he did an interview.
17:50
I'd recommend you watch this whole interview with the Julia
17:53
LaRoche show, OK? She's a great journalist, puts
17:57
out great content. But toward the end, she asked
18:00
him about gold. And listen to what he said.
18:05
Here is Jeffrey Gunlock. He's going to open his eyes here
18:07
and talk to you. There's a funny story about my
18:10
gold call and that was, I was on ATV program and gold was at 2970
18:16
at the time. And I was asked by the
18:18
interviewer, do you think it'll go above 3000?
18:22
And I said, what kind of a forecast is that?
18:25
Can it go up 1%? And I said, so I, I didn't plan
18:29
on saying this, but because the way the, the conversation, the
18:32
question was framed, I said, I said, you know what?
18:35
It's going to go above 4000 this year.
18:38
That's about forget about 3000. It's going to go above 4000.
18:41
And it ended up making an honest man of me.
18:44
I mean, it ended up going up to 4500 around the fourth quarter
18:48
of last year and then even went to above 5000.
18:51
So I, I think, I think the gold is real money.
18:55
I think people are starting to get aware of that central banks
18:59
are going to be a huge continued source of demand for gold.
19:03
Back in the old days before we Nixon went off the gold
19:06
standard, central banks had about 70% of their reserves in
19:09
gold and it got down to 20% of reserves in gold.
19:13
That when everybody was shifting to dollars as their reserve
19:17
preference. Well, gold has now on the rise
19:20
again and it's up to about 30% of central bank reserves.
19:24
I think it's completely reasonable to believe that that
19:28
the percentage of their reserves will go to to 50%, which is a
19:32
tremendous demand for gold. And so there's there.
19:37
Gold isn't for, you know, survivalist kooks and wild crazy
19:42
speculators anymore. It's a real asset class, and
19:46
it's being reintroduced to the world of central banking as a
19:49
real asset class worthy of parking perhaps 1/3 of your
19:56
reserves in it. OK, wow, gold and silver for
20:02
that matter. He didn't go on to talk about
20:04
silver. He did say that he much prefers
20:07
gold. He looks at silver's more
20:09
speculative and more industrial. I don't know, he said.
20:13
I don't agree with him on that. I think that silver is monetary
20:16
as well. And like he's talking about with
20:18
gold, right? Gold is regaining, reclaiming
20:22
its status as the world's reserve currency.
20:25
It always was, always was, is being re recognized.
20:29
It never went anywhere. And silver, I believe, like it
20:32
always does, is trailing behind in that regard.
20:35
He said a couple powerful things, right?
20:37
That, that the world central banks could go to, what did he
20:40
say, 50% of their reserves and gold.
20:43
And that that could create, you know, a massive new wave of
20:47
demand for physical gold. And we know when we talk about
20:51
gold, silver will always follow gold.
20:54
Gold is the granddaddy of the grand pappy of all the world's
20:58
precious metals. What else did he say?
21:00
He called it real money. Maybe we don't say that often
21:03
enough down here. Basement dwellers right, gold is
21:06
real money. Silver is real money, right it
21:11
is the money it is the the yardstick by which everything
21:14
else can be measured right we the dollar is measured against
21:18
gold and silver. A barrel of oil can be measured
21:21
against gold and silver. So thank you Jeffrey Gunlock.
21:24
I, I always appreciate hearing what Jeffrey has to say.
21:28
He's a super smart guy. Again, I would recommend, if you
21:30
have time, go watch that entire interview.
21:33
He talks about, I mean, just the fundamentals, right?
21:37
They can get us so excited about what's happening right now with
21:43
gold and silver, the fundamental factors, the basic math behind
21:48
what's wrong with the, he talks about this, the massive deficits
21:52
that our government is running and, and then on top of that,
21:56
the debt that we already have. And we heard from Jerome Powell
21:59
yesterday. Jerome Powell said something
22:01
needs to be done about this, like right away.
22:04
We can, we cannot continue going down this path.
22:07
And Jerome Powell, the chairman still of the United States
22:11
Federal Reserve, even said himself, he was, he expressed
22:15
what I, what I perceived as big frustration that people aren't,
22:19
that the leaders aren't paying attention to this.
22:21
So anyhow, I'm done ranting on that one.
22:25
What about what about the world central banks like he just
22:28
talked about here? Here's some proof that that'll
22:32
add to what Jeffrey just talked about.
22:34
We got this OK, but wait, there's more after we read this
22:38
one line coin Telegraph and I'll tell you why that's important,
22:42
says new central Bank of Brazil, right.
22:45
We never talk about Brazil, but remember Brazil is the bee and
22:49
bricks. Brazil, Russia, India, China,
22:51
South Africa. The central Bank of Brazil
22:54
doubled their gold holdings in 2025.
22:58
Now it is their second largest reserve asset after the US
23:03
dollar. There's two, but wait, there's
23:05
we're going to do a little sidetrack.
23:08
What's important is to see who is pointing this out.
23:11
A massive media source, this is Crypt Coin Telegraph, I'm sorry,
23:16
with just under 3,000,000 followers on the X platform,
23:22
3,000,000 followers, OK. And they're a trusted crypto
23:25
media source since 2013 and they are putting out media about gold
23:32
and about Brazil. But wait, there's even more
23:36
because we know Brazil. When I talked with Leor
23:39
yesterday, we were trying to run through the list.
23:41
It's not just Brazil. Remember, France, Remember,
23:45
France is the country that caused the United States, was
23:49
the catalyst for us to get off the gold standard in 1971
23:53
because Charles de Gaulle sent French Navy ships to the United
23:58
States and said we want our gold back from the United States.
24:02
Well, France also recently just repatriated.
24:05
That was a big breaking story over the last week, took back a
24:09
lot more of their gold from New York.
24:12
So you have France taking their gold back.
24:14
You've got China, which basically doesn't allow the
24:18
export of any gold, and I think it's safe for us to know and say
24:22
that the Chinese government and central bank are accumulating
24:25
massive amounts of gold. Russia, right, that outlawed
24:30
export of gold. Any gold bars over 100 grams,
24:34
100 grams. Where's my bar?
24:36
100 grams. This is a 5 oz bar that I love
24:40
right from channel. Look at that.
24:42
Isn't that cool? From channel sponsor first met.
24:46
Actually, I lost this. OK, I'll tell you that story in
24:49
a second. Anyway, you can't.
24:51
If this is gold. It's not, it's silver.
24:53
But if this is gold, you can't export that from Russia any
24:57
longer. But wait, there's more.
24:58
Uzbekistan. We are the Uzbekistan station
25:03
channel. Uzbekistan is the 10th largest
25:06
producer of gold in the world. They didn't allow any gold
25:09
exports in January, February. And that's what we think about
25:12
it. Put put, all, put the, put the.
25:14
They aren't going to say this, but we can, we can watch what
25:18
they're doing, right? World countries in the world
25:22
that are that are hoarding, absolutely hoarding silver and
25:28
gold. Yeah.
25:28
So I lost this. OK, and it drove me crazy.
25:33
That's my that's a beautiful 5 oz.
25:35
Even Susie likes it. It's a little 5 oz silver bar
25:38
and you know where I found it? It was safe.
25:42
It was I put it inside this this is The Dirty man safe.
25:45
Their smallest 1 the crypto version, I think they call it or
25:49
the micro version. You guys know there's dirty man
25:52
safe right there. OK, you can owe the bigger dirty
25:55
man safes. Don't forget when you check them
25:58
out discount code Ron 10 OK, but this is the the micro version,
26:04
the crypto version it's really cool and I put look at that
26:09
thing. I put the five ounce bar I'll
26:12
show you uh oh I lost it again hold on is it under here Yes it
26:17
is fits in there, so not actually you you could I don't
26:21
know how many you could put a lot of silver bars in there
26:24
anyway you seal these up OK, they come with this heavy duty
26:28
sleeve that gets buried in the ground.
26:31
This goes inside there. You put the cap on top.
26:35
They got these super high quality handles.
26:37
You put that on top and you put the dirt back and it's buried
26:40
safe and sound. So I love The Dirty man safe and
26:43
I love that I'd hid from myself the five ounce bar inside that
26:49
dirty man safe. Hey, I love that you've joined
26:51
