Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Freshest Sounds podcast with me, your host,
• 0:17
  Ross.
• 0:17
And it is good to be in the studio here at the generator in New Islington at Royal Mills.
• 0:23
So before we get into the music and everything, I'm gonna briefly talk about the generator,
• 0:29
what it is, where it is, and what it has to offer.
• 0:32
So, basically, the generator is here for anyone who is a start up business.
• 0:38
  Now they have two locations.
• 0:40
The first location is where I'm at now, which is New Islington Royal Mills, and it's on the
• 0:48
  outskirts of Piccadilly.
• 0:50
So if you are in the Manchester area, it's not too far to travel to or anything.
• 0:55
You can get the bus down or the tram down and tell it to you, or you can even get the train
• 0:59
down as well and then just walk up a little bit.
• 1:02
So the one I'm at is at New Islington.
• 1:05
That's a tram stop you get off at, and then you walk down, cut through the canals and
• 1:09
everything, and then it's just there.
• 1:11
If you know Co op Live, then you'll know New Islington as well.
• 1:15
So that's that location, and they have a location in the center of Manchester as well.
• 1:22
So that is at Saint Peter's Square, and it's a town hall extension.
• 1:27
So there's at the moment, there's a fence there, and you've got the homeless people in
• 1:33
  the tents.
• 1:33
So you walk straight down as if you're walking towards the old library, and then it's just a
• 1:38
  right.
• 1:38
And then you go into some double doors that open automatically, and then it's just you
• 1:43
  right there.
• 1:44
Go in, and you will be greeted by someone on the desk.
• 1:48
The staff in here are absolutely amazing.
• 1:50
  They're so friendly.
• 1:52
And once you come in, you'll get shown around, and you'll get shown all the different types of
• 1:57
equipment and the space that they have to offer as well.
• 2:00
So if you are a start up business in Manchester and you're seeking some advice and some help
• 2:07
with your business, I would urge you to come to the generator and speak to them because they
• 2:13
have tons and tons of advice to give you.
• 2:17
  And it's free as well.
• 2:18
So who doesn't love a freebie?
• 2:20
So that is obviously that out the way, and we are in the month of Christmas.
• 2:26
  Yes.
• 2:27
  December.
• 2:28
  Oh, how I love it.
• 2:29
How I love it with my sarcastic voice there.
• 2:32
But it's it's one of them really, ain't it?
• 2:34
  You know?
• 2:35
Some people love it for certain reasons, and some people dislike it for other reasons as
• 2:40
  well.
• 2:41
And it's harder when you get older, I personally think, because, you know, you lose
• 2:47
loved ones and everything in your family, and Christmas isn't the same without that special
• 2:52
  someone.
• 2:53
Do you know what I mean?
• 2:53
And, like, when I lost my grandma, it was it was the most hardest thing ever.
• 2:59
Like, she was the glue of the family and everything.
• 3:02
And when she passed, just things weren't right in the family no more.
• 3:06
  And I dreaded Christmas.
• 3:08
But on a flip side, I enjoy Christmas as well purely on the basis of I've got a little boy as
• 3:15
  well.
• 3:15
So, you know, he believes in all that sort of stuff.
• 3:18
So I've got to keep the the Christmas spirit high, and, you know, it's all the sneaking
• 3:23
  around.
• 3:24
And it brings you inner child out in yourself as well if you have kids.
• 3:28
And you people watching and listening, you can relate to that a 100%.
• 3:33
So another thing about Christmas as well is I'm a late Christmas shopper, mate.
• 3:37
I've not even started with my Christmas shopping yet, and gonna be running around like
• 3:42
a headless chicken, pulling the little strands here of my hair, what I've got left on my head.
• 3:47
I'm gonna be pulling all that out.
• 3:48
And, yeah, it's hard to get for people, in my opinion, because you know what they're like and
• 3:54
everything, and you're just there, like, rattling your brain on what to get them.
• 3:59
And it's like, well, they've already got everything that they want and they need.
• 4:03
  What do you get them?
• 4:04
  Seriously.
• 4:05
But, you know, you have them conversations, and it's like, mom, what would you like for
• 4:09
Christmas if you could get a few things, you know, and just to see what they'll come out
• 4:13
  with?
• 4:13
My mom is a sucker for Doc Martens.
• 4:15
Anything that smells nice and pajamas, easy.
• 4:18
But it's just just trying to find something nice in it.
• 4:21
  So yeah.
• 4:22
Also as well, before we get onto the music, I've just remembered something that I've put on
• 4:26
social media as well, and I want everyone to get involved in.
• 4:29
So, obviously, when you're out dating someone, you know, it could be in a restaurant or it
• 4:36
could be out and about on a nice walk.
• 4:38
Whatever it is, whatever you're doing, like, flowing and something that he or she says
• 4:44
sparks up as a red flag for you.
• 4:46
Now I want everyone to get involved on social media, please, and I wanna know what your red
• 4:51
  flag is in someone.
• 4:52
It could be the smallest thing, but it's a big thing to you, really, ain't it?
• 4:57
  You know what I mean?
• 4:58
So it could be, for example, something like you've gone to a five star restaurant and
• 5:04
they're rocked up in sliders and socks, and they just wear sliders and socks everywhere,
• 5:09
  wherever you go.
• 5:11
  Sliders and socks.
• 5:11
  Sliders and socks.
• 5:12
  Sliders and socks.
• 5:13
So, yeah, that's not my red flag, by the way.
• 5:16
I'm just saying as an example, you know, it could be yours.
• 5:18
I'm not too sure what yours is.
• 5:20
So if you'd like to get involved on the Facebook page, please do, or you can just type
• 5:26
it in on the TikTok page, whatever.
• 5:28
Whatever social media platform you use the most, just get involved that way, please.
• 5:33
So what we are going to do is we are going to get into the music now, ladies and gentlemen.
• 5:39
So the first song is one I have made myself.
• 5:42
  Yes.
• 5:43
  I make music.
• 5:44
I know that may come to a surprise to some of you who's watching and listening.
• 5:49
  So my YouTube channel is r d o t t production.
• 5:54
So it's r dot t productions, and this song is called standing ovation, and we are going to
• 6:03
play it now, ladies and gentlemen.
• 6:05
If you do like what you listen to, please like, share, subscribe, comment, and support the
• 6:11
  artists.
• 6:12
So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, this is standing ovations by R.
• 6:17
  D.
• 6:17
  C.
• 6:17
  Production on YouTube.
• 6:18
  Here it is.
• 6:19
  R.
• 6:19
  D.
• 6:20
  C.
• 6:21
  Productions.
• 8:32
  And that was r.
• 8:34
T production standing ovation on YouTube, ladies and gentlemen.
• 8:38
I'm not really gonna say much on that because obviously it's my own track, and I thoroughly
• 8:42
  enjoy it.
• 8:43
You know, it took me about three months to do that song and once I finished it, I was
• 8:49
  absolutely buzzing with it.
• 8:51
  I was so gassed.
• 8:52
  I was over the moon.
• 8:53
I was like, oh, listen to this.
• 8:55
  Listen to this.
• 8:55
And people like, have you done that?
• 8:57
  I'm like, yeah.
• 8:57
Like, just to see the reactions and, you know, it's just so good, and it's heartwarming as
• 9:03
well when people listening to your music.
• 9:06
I mean, it's had 243 views on YouTube.
• 9:09
So, you know, it speaks volume for itself, ladies and gentlemen.
• 9:12
So if you have liked that song, please go and support me and subscribe to my YouTube channel,
• 9:20
like the song, comment on it, all that sort of stuff because it helps the artist out so much.
• 9:26
And I will say this from an artist point of view as well.
• 9:30
We appreciate it because when you buy an album from Madonna, for example, she 's not really
• 9:36
  gonna notice you.
• 9:37
But these people who get featured on the podcast, they appreciate you so, so much.
• 9:43
And I will hold up my hands here and, you know, agree with what some of the artists tell me as
• 9:48
well because it's, how can I say it, it's appreciated a lot more, and, you know, it's one
• 9:54
  of them really?
• 9:54
So, yeah, if you liked it, please subscribe to it on YouTube, add up to your production,
• 10:00
  standing ovation.
• 10:01
  Give it a like.
• 10:02
  Give it a share.
• 10:03
  Go show your cousin.
• 10:04
  Go show your nan.
• 10:05
She'll probably enjoy it as well.
• 10:06
So we are on our next song.
• 10:09
So the YouTube channel is Lil Babs number four ever, and this is real talk.
• 10:17
Little Babs forever is a song title as well.
• 10:20
So we are gonna play it now, ladies and gentlemen, and get back to you very shortly.
• 10:25
  Doc, go anywhere.
• 12:56
And that was Lil Babs forever.
• 12:59
  Real talk.
• 13:00
I thoroughly enjoyed that one, to be honest with you.
• 13:02
You know, that's sort of my genre of music I would listen to.
• 13:05
I'd say there is a bit of room for improvement there.
• 13:08
So I think it was like one minute odd into the song.
• 13:12
I feel like there could have been a more stronger male presence on the beat, and I think
• 13:18
it would have made the song a bit more better.
• 13:21
  That's my personal opinion.
• 13:23
So don't take it to heart and, you know, don't be disheartened with the feedback.
• 13:27
But that's my personal opinion anyway.
• 13:30
But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it, you know, and I hope you carry on doing your music and
• 13:36
carry on sending it into the podcast.
• 13:38
And we will feature you again when you're next sending your music.
• 13:41
So, again, if you have just liked what you have just listened to, please go subscribe to them
• 13:46
  on YouTube.
• 13:47
So it's Little Babs number four ever, and the song was called Real Talk, Little Babs Forever
• 13:55
  on YouTube.
• 13:56
So up next, ladies and gentlemen, we have Jose Hoz.
• 14:02
  That's their YouTube name.
• 14:03
Well, the YouTube name is Jose Hoz hyphen official, and the song is called rap ninja.
• 14:10
And we are going to play it now, ladies and gentlemen.
• 14:13
Again, if you like the song, please subscribe to him on YouTube.
• 14:17
Like, share, comment, and go support him.
• 17:22
And that was Jose Hoz, everyone, rap ninja.
• 17:26
  I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it.
• 17:29
If he was watching on YouTube just then, obviously, you would have seen the video well,
• 17:34
the visuals for the music video.
• 17:36
And I always say if it's got a catchy beat or if the video is 10 out of 10, which that was,
• 17:42
and I'm sure everyone on YouTube who are watching right now will agree with me as well.
• 17:47
So, yeah, just absolutely lost for words on that one.
• 17:50
There is a little bit of a description on his YouTube, so I'm gonna read it out for you.
• 17:56
It says, Rap Ninja is a classic nineties boom bap storytelling rap, a story about a rap ninja
• 18:03
who is a direct descendant of the Shaolin Temple who is ready to fight for his place in
• 18:09
rap history no matter the cost, resentless flow, and a beat that packs a punch.
• 18:14
Juse Huss delivers a sonic experience that's nothing short of legendary.
• 18:20
This audio slash visualizer takes you deeper into the world of rap ninja combining dynamic
• 18:25
visuals with the raw energy of Juse's performance.
• 18:29
Whether you're here for the bars, the vibes, or the artistry, this track promised to hit all
• 18:34
the right notes for fans of enthusiastic hip hop.
• 18:38
And I think he's hit the nail on the head there, to be honest with you.
• 18:41
Saying all that, what he's put there, I believe everything I've just read out then was true.
• 18:48
And, yeah, I don't think he could have worded that any better, to be honest with you.
• 18:52
There is no room for improvement whatsoever on that song.
• 18:56
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I don't know if someone who is watching or listening right now
• 19:01
  will enjoy it as well.
• 19:03
So if you did enjoy that song, he is called Jose Hoz hyphen official on YouTube, and the
• 19:11
  song was called rap ninja.
• 19:14
So please go and show them some support.
• 19:17
So up next, we have Deke official.
• 19:22
  So it's Deke hyphen official.
• 19:26
That's his YouTube channel, and we are going to play Outlaw.
• 19:31
So if you do like what you are about to listen to, please like, share, subscribe, comment, all
• 19:36
  that sort of stuff.
• 19:37
Go show your friends, your family.
• 19:39
Go show your dog if you want to.
• 19:40
  So, yeah, the official outlaw.
• 19:44
Here it is, ladies and gentlemen.
• 21:24
The coppers try to flag me down.
• 21:26
Blue lights on, no festal case.
• 22:34
And that was outlaw by deak official.
• 22:37
I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed that, and I'm sure someone listening and someone who is
• 22:40
watching right now also enjoyed it.
• 22:43
I can't say there's room for improvement on that song whatsoever.
• 22:46
You know, everything was there for me.
• 22:48
  I thoroughly enjoyed it.
• 22:49
I enjoyed listening to that song.
• 22:51
So if you also liked what you have just listened to, please go and show the artist some
• 22:56
support by subscribing to him on YouTube.
• 22:59
Again, his YouTube channel name is Deak Official, so it's d e k and then official.
• 23:06
And the song was called Outlaw.
• 23:08
  Please like the song.
• 23:09
  Share it onto your socials.
• 23:12
Also, comment as well because it boosts the engagement on his YouTube channel as well.
• 23:18
And, yeah, just show him some support, please, because these artists are upcoming music
• 23:24
  artists.
• 23:24
They will be big one day.
• 23:26
Let me tell you that for a fact.
• 23:27
So if you do like anyone who you do listen to, please show them some support by, like I've
• 23:33
just said then, liking, sharing, commenting, subscribing, all that sort of stuff just to
• 23:39
show the artist some support, and they will appreciate it so much more than your Madonna or
• 23:46
whoever you listen to on your Spotify playlist or your YouTube channels, whoever you listen
• 23:51
  to.
• 23:52
So, yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are on our last song of the day, and this artist is called
• 23:57
  Infinity on YouTube.
• 23:59
And the song is called Apostle of Apollo.
• 24:04
And we are going to play it now, ladies and gentlemen, and get back to you after the song.
• 24:16
Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged, and many of them are so inert, so
• 24:21
hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight Living for the clicks, but the
• 25:12
  emptiness is laden.
• 25:13
Trapped in the facade, it's a dangerous engagement.
• 25:16
Behind the screen, you're just seeking connection, but it's a digital world, lit with
• 25:20
shallow affection, self worth, tighter numbers, a pixelized Are you listening to me, Neo?
• 25:56
Apostle of Apollo, ladies and gentlemen, by Infiniti.
• 26:00
I, for one, thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it.
• 26:02
  You know?
• 26:03
What he said in that song was absolutely amazing, and I don't think he could have summed
• 26:09
it up any better because some of the stuff that he just said then, it's so true.
• 26:14
Like, a lot of females nowadays are on OnlyFans and they call themselves content creators.
• 26:20
And it's like, well, you're not really a content creator, are you?
• 26:22
You just take pictures of yourself and video yourself.
• 26:26
  You know?
• 26:27
So, yeah, hats off to the guy, and I, for one, can't wait for more of his music to drop, and I
• 26:35
will definitely be subscribing to this person on YouTube.
• 26:40
  So that's it, everyone.
• 26:41
That's the end of the show.
