Speaker 2: I am Sherry Mackie at its time, right now, for
• 0:05
Speaker 2: today's word, Your soon is closer than you think. Deuteronomy
• 0:11
Speaker 2: six and ten says the Lord your God will soon
• 0:14
Speaker 2: bring you into the land that he swore to give
• 0:17
Speaker 2: you when he made a vow to your ancestors Abraham,
• 0:20
Speaker 2: Isaac and Jacob. It is a land with the large,
• 0:24
Speaker 2: prosperous cities that you did not build. You know, one
• 0:27
Speaker 2: word from God can change everything, and that word is soon.
• 0:33
Speaker 2: For the Israelites, soon probably sounded impossible. They wondered in
• 0:37
Speaker 2: the wilderness for forty long years.
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: They had endured.
• 0:40
Speaker 2: Scorching heat, uncertainty, battles with the enemy's disappointments, and the
• 0:44
Speaker 2: consequences of their own disobedience. Many had buried loved ones
• 0:49
Speaker 2: in the desert. Day after day looked exactly like the
• 0:52
Speaker 2: day before. It would have been easy to conclude that
• 0:55
Speaker 2: the promised land was nothing more than a distant dream.
• 0:59
Speaker 2: But God had not forgotten his promise. At the appointed time,
• 1:03
Speaker 2: he spoke a single word of hope. Soon, what they
• 1:07
Speaker 2: had been waiting decades to experience was about to become reality.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: Perhaps that's where you are today.
• 1:13
Speaker 2: You've been praying for healing, but the diagnosis hasn't changed.
• 1:17
Speaker 2: You've been believing for restoration in your family, but the
• 1:20
Speaker 2: relationship still feels broken. You've been asking God for new opportunity,
• 1:24
Speaker 2: financial breakthrough, or open doors, and nothing seems to be happening.
• 1:29
Speaker 2: The temptation is to settle, to convince yourself that this
• 1:33
Speaker 2: is simply how life will always be. But don't confuse
• 1:37
Speaker 2: God's delay with God's denial. The God who made the
• 1:40
Speaker 2: promises of saying, God who will fulfill it. What looks
• 1:44
Speaker 2: like a long season of waiting may actually be preparation
• 1:47
Speaker 2: for a greater blessing than you imagine. God often uses
• 1:50
Speaker 2: a wilderness to strengthen our faith, develop our character, and
• 1:54
  Speaker 2: teach us.
• 1:55
Speaker 1: To depend on Him.
• 1:56
Speaker 2: Then, when the appointed time arrives, he brings us to
• 2:00
Speaker 2: a place we could never have reached on our own.
• 2:04
Speaker 2: Notice that God promised Israel cities. They did not build wells,
• 2:08
Speaker 2: they did not dig in vineyards, they.
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: Did not plan.
• 2:11
Speaker 2: In other words, He had already prepared blessings ahead of
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: their arrival.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: Well, the same is true for you. Even now.
• 2:17
Speaker 2: God is arranging circumstances behind the scenes. He's lining up
• 2:21
Speaker 2: divine connections, opening unseen doors, moving obstacles out of the way,
• 2:25
Speaker 2: and preparing opportunities you don't even know exists yet. Heaven
• 2:29
Speaker 2: is working while you're waiting. That's why your attitude in
• 2:33
Speaker 2: the waiting matters don't allow discouragement to replace expectancy.
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: Keep thanking God.
• 2:38
Speaker 2: Before you see the answers, Keep praising Him before the
• 2:41
Speaker 2: breakthrough arrives. Keep speaking words of faith instead of words
• 2:44
Speaker 2: of defeat. Every prayer you've prayed, every tear you've pried,
• 2:47
Speaker 2: every seed you've sown in obedience has not been overlooked
• 2:51
Speaker 2: by God. Your soon is not determined by the calendar.
• 2:54
Speaker 2: It's determined by God's perfect timing. And when his appointed
• 2:58
Speaker 2: moment arrives, whatleaned delayed will suddenly become reality. You stay faithful,
• 3:04
Speaker 2: you stay hopeful, You stay expectant. You're soon, maybe much
• 3:09
Speaker 2: closer than you say.
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: Father.
• 3:11
Speaker 2: Thank you that you are always faithful to every promise
• 3:14
Speaker 2: you made. Thank you that, even when we can't see it,
• 3:17
Speaker 2: you're working. You're preparing the blessing, the opportunity and breakthroughs.
• 3:21
Speaker 1: That you've ordained for our lives.
• 3:22
Speaker 2: Help us not to grow weary in the waiting or
• 3:25
Speaker 2: allow doubt to steal our expectancy. Strengthen our faith to
• 3:28
Speaker 2: keep trusting, praising, and believing that your perfect timing is
• 3:32
Speaker 2: always worth the word.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: Come, oh Jesus, we.
• 3:34
Speaker 2: Declare that we will not settle for discouragement because we
• 3:38
Speaker 2: know that you are leading us into everything that you
• 3:41
Speaker 2: prepared for us. We believe our appointed time is coming,
• 3:44
Speaker 2: our breakthrough is on the way and are soon. It's
• 3:46
Speaker 2: closer than we think. In Jesus' name, Now that's your
• 3:49
Speaker 2: word for today. Take it applied to your everyday life,
• 3:52
Speaker 2: and you continue to be encouraged and inspired at your
• 3:54
Speaker 2: early wanting praise party.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie.
