- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, Mark Simone. Well, hey,
- 0:08Speaker 1: the president, President Trump, will be going crazy now in
- 0:12Speaker 1: the next 26 days. Campaigning, rallies every day, traveling all
- 0:18Speaker 1: over the country, every day traveling somewhere. This is what
- 0:21Speaker 1: it means to be, as he would say, a great closer.
- 0:24Speaker 1: You come alive at the end. 16th, 17th, 18th hole,
- 0:28Speaker 1: you go crazy. You really come to life. And that's
- 0:33Speaker 1: something that's not factored into the polls. The president will
- 0:37Speaker 1: be working his tail off to get this done. He's
- 0:42Speaker 1: got rallies every day. He gets on a plane and
- 0:44Speaker 1: flies to another state. Now today, I'm looking at the schedule,
- 0:47Speaker 1: it's actually going to be a tele-rally. Sometimes it's a
- 0:52Speaker 1: Zoom meeting, not an in-person meeting, but he'll be doing that.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So even today, there's going to be a rally. And
- 0:57Speaker 1: then as we get to the weekend, he'll be flying
- 0:59Speaker 1: all over the place. Now, Wednesday, he went to Texas
- 1:02Speaker 1: to do a big rally. And he had the great pitcher,
- 1:05Speaker 1: Roger Clemens, introduce him. Clemens is a Texas native. And
- 1:10Speaker 1: that's pretty cool. You have Roger Clemens introduce you at
- 1:13Speaker 1: the rally. The people there love Roger Clemens. But Clemens
- 1:17Speaker 1: got quite a surprise. You know, he was asked, would
- 1:21Speaker 1: you introduce President Trump at the rally? He thought that's
- 1:24Speaker 1: all it was. So he gives the president a big introduction.
- 1:28Speaker 1: President gets up there and does this. And then he
- 1:30Speaker 1: says to Roger Clemens, come back up here. And he
- 1:34Speaker 1: had quite a surprise for him. He awarded him the
- 1:37Speaker 1: Presidential Medal of Freedom. Clemens was stunned. It's an amazing
- 1:42Speaker 1: thing to get the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Now, are
- 1:49Speaker 1: you supposed to get that for being a great pitcher?
- 1:53Speaker 1: I guess. Well, actually, if you think about it, they
- 1:55Speaker 1: give it to They give it to singers. They give
- 1:57Speaker 1: it to comedians. Yeah, if you're really great at whatever
- 2:01Speaker 1: you do, if you're just an American who's really distinguished
- 2:04Speaker 1: themselves and become one of the very best in your field, yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: that's when you get a Presidential Medal of Freedom. So,
- 2:12Speaker 1: good for Roger Clemens. He got one. Bad for the
- 2:15Speaker 1: New York Yankees. Well, we knew this was going to happen.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I mean, we thought maybe they'll win one game at
- 2:23Speaker 1: home and then they'll, you know, There was no way
- 2:25Speaker 1: they were going to win the series. They were three behind.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And they were up against the greatest team in baseball
- 2:31Speaker 1: right now. They're not going to win three in a row.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So they lost last night. There was one home run.
- 2:37Speaker 1: High fly ball. Left field. Over is Mason. It's carrying
- 2:42Speaker 1: back to the wall. It is up. It is out.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's a home run. Anthony Volpe has tied it. Ah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: there you go. See? Now the Yankees are going to win. Well,
- 3:01Speaker 1: all kinds of things happen. What was that weird interference call?
- 3:03Speaker 1: After review, we have spectator interference. In addition, the left
- 3:10Speaker 1: fielder was not made to catch. Therefore, we have one
- 3:14Speaker 1: run story and the batter runner is placed at second base. Ah,
- 3:19Speaker 1: was that the one that looked like a home run
- 3:21Speaker 1: and he was about to catch? Yeah. you know, they
- 3:24Speaker 1: call it spectator interference. If you're sitting in the stands
- 3:27Speaker 1: and this guy's way out in the right field seats
- 3:30Speaker 1: and the ball's coming right out, you're going to reach
- 3:32Speaker 1: up and try to catch it. It's perfectly, no, it's
- 3:35Speaker 1: not interference. He was trying to catch it. That's, you know,
- 3:38Speaker 1: when you, that's the only thing you can hope for
- 3:40Speaker 1: when you're way out there in the outfield sitting there
- 3:42Speaker 1: is maybe you'll catch a, catch a ball. That's about it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So the Yankees lost. It's the end of the season
- 3:48Speaker 1: and that's it. And, well, hey, at least they got
- 3:53Speaker 1: in the, They got in the playoffs. That's something. So
- 3:57Speaker 1: Mamdani tried this tightrope act last night, walking right between
- 4:01Speaker 1: the two, the anti-Semites, the anti-Israel crazies, and then trying
- 4:10Speaker 1: to appease Jews by going to the, there was a
- 4:13Speaker 1: vigil for those massacred on October 7th by Hamas. So
- 4:19Speaker 1: Mamdani went to the vigil. And because of that, he
- 4:23Speaker 1: got booed like crazy by his supporters, his base, the anti-Semites.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And then it's the anniversary of October 7th. He puts
- 4:35Speaker 1: up this ridiculous anti-Semitic nonsense on Twitter, the most awful
- 4:41Speaker 1: anti-Semitic attack on Jews, attack on Israel on Twitter at
- 4:45Speaker 1: the same time. So when he got to the vigil,
- 4:48Speaker 1: all the Jews booed him. He was getting booed by
- 4:50Speaker 1: anybody and everybody. You know, he tried to do that
- 4:54Speaker 1: little high wire act where you play both sides, and
- 4:57Speaker 1: it blew up in his face. So then, to make
- 5:01Speaker 1: up for it, he goes to a Palestinian restaurant. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: it's on the Upper West Side. They make sure the
- 5:09Speaker 1: press is there, and they put out pictures of him. Now,
- 5:12Speaker 1: what does that mean, a Palestinian restaurant? What the hell
- 5:15Speaker 1: is a Palestinian restaurant? What, do they throw rocks at
- 5:18Speaker 1: you when you're sitting there? A Palestinian restaurant. Actually, what
- 5:21Speaker 1: does the New York Post say? Oh, here. Palestinian restaurant?
- 5:26Speaker 1: The New York Post said, it's harm to table. Palestinian restaurant. Apparently,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it's a disgusting place. It's an anti-Semitic restaurant. On the menu,
- 5:39Speaker 1: here's a copy. Somebody's taking a picture of the menu.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Right on the menu, the big headline is, you know
- 5:47Speaker 1: how they'll say surf and turf. Their big headline is,
- 5:51Speaker 1: from the river to the sea. Now that's a anti-Semitic
- 5:56Speaker 1: phrase that means wipe out Israel, but it's on the menu,
- 5:58Speaker 1: big letters, from the river to the sea. Here's the menu.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Shrimp kebab, served over rice with a side of potatoes
- 6:07Speaker 1: and salad, $ 23. Salmon kebab, $ 26. Whole red snapper, market price,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I don't know, Palestinian restaurant named after somebody a child
- 6:23Speaker 1: killed on October 7th. Disgusting place. But that's where Mom
- 6:29Speaker 1: Donnie was proudly dining last night. Just a horrible, horrible
- 6:33Speaker 1: situation having a vicious anti-Semite as mayor. Can you imagine
- 6:39Speaker 1: having a racist mayor? An out-and-out, open, racist mayor? Well,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you got basically what you have now. In this case, anti-Semitic.
- 6:47Speaker 1: absolutely awful. A bigot as mayor. Never thought we'd actually
- 6:51Speaker 1: see this. We also got a bird brain as governor.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Now the problem was nobody was paying the subway fare.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Everybody's jumping the turnstile. How do you fix a thing
- 7:03Speaker 1: like that? Well, you probably just look back at Rudy Giuliani,
- 7:06Speaker 1: Bill Bratton, Ray Kelly. It took them about a week
- 7:10Speaker 1: to fix it. And what they did was they started
- 7:12Speaker 1: arresting all the turnstile jumpers. They put cops down there.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You jumped the turnstile, you got arrested. You know, one
- 7:20Speaker 1: thing about these criminals, they got quite a network. They
- 7:22Speaker 1: all talk to each other. And if you're Bill de
- 7:26Speaker 1: Blasio or Eric Adams or one of these Democrats, you
- 7:29Speaker 1: don't enforce the turnstile jumping, so they all do it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: They just jump over the turnstile. They know nothing's going
- 7:35Speaker 1: to happen, so they do it. And this was going
- 7:39Speaker 1: on years ago, and then when Giuliani came in, He
- 7:42Speaker 1: and Bratton started arresting them one by one. They arrested
- 7:45Speaker 1: them all. Within two weeks, word spread around, don't jump
- 7:47Speaker 1: the turnstile. And it stopped just like that. No more
- 7:51Speaker 1: jumping the turnstile. That's the way you do it. That
- 7:54Speaker 1: costs a little overtime with some cops. And when you
- 7:58Speaker 1: do that, you're going to arrest hundreds and hundreds and
- 8:00Speaker 1: hundreds at a time. So you have to, I think
- 8:04Speaker 1: back then, Giuliani, they got buses, big buses, and used
- 8:07Speaker 1: those as processing centers where they could take hundreds of
- 8:10Speaker 1: these people down and process them. But you can do it.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It takes about two weeks. Word gets around. It stops. Now,
- 8:15Speaker 1: what is Kathy Hochul doing? She's spending a fortune, millions
- 8:23Speaker 1: and millions and millions to put in new fair gates. Well,
- 8:27Speaker 1: why not just spend thousands and have the cops arrest them? Well,
- 8:31Speaker 1: because this is millions. This is contracts you can hand
- 8:35Speaker 1: out to donors. This is spending. This is what she
- 8:38Speaker 1: likes to do. That's her type of government. You spend
- 8:41Speaker 1: like crazy. The MTA, run by a bunch of idiots,
- 8:44Speaker 1: led by that awful Jano Lieber. So she debuted her gates.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It's a big, huge glass, peck the glass gate. She
- 8:57Speaker 1: says the MTA loses roughly $ 350 million every year from
- 9:03Speaker 1: fair beaters. Well, then it's worth spending a million on cops.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Stop it instantly. You can stop it in a week.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But instead, they're spending a fortune on these gates. So far,
- 9:14Speaker 1: 20 have been installed. It's a pilot program. She was
- 9:16Speaker 1: showing them off. And they're going to do 20 more
- 9:20Speaker 1: subway stations now. So at this rate, they'll have the
- 9:24Speaker 1: gates up everywhere within 10 years, maybe. And it'll cost
- 9:29Speaker 1: a fortune out of your paychecks. But this is the
- 9:32Speaker 1: Hochul way. And, you know, same thing with the shoplifting
- 9:38Speaker 1: in the drugstore and everywhere. That's why everything's locked up.
- 9:41Speaker 1: The shampoo is locked up. The razor blades are locked up.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You want some aspirin. You want some NyQuil. It's locked up.
- 9:47Speaker 1: You got to ring a bell for the manager. You
- 9:50Speaker 1: got to wait for 10 minutes for the manager to
- 9:52Speaker 1: come over with the key, unlock it. It's a pain
- 9:55Speaker 1: in the neck. The reason we have to do this,
- 10:01Speaker 1: it was decided by Elvin Bragg and Cuomo and all
- 10:03Speaker 1: these left-wingers not to enforce the shoplifting. They said under $ 1, 000,
- 10:10Speaker 1: no arrests. These are professionally organized gangs. They've trained armies
- 10:16Speaker 1: of kids to come in with big hefty bags and
- 10:19Speaker 1: steal $ 999 worth of stuff. And that way there's no arrest, nothing.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And that's why it happens. If you started arresting them
- 10:26Speaker 1: for any shoplifting, again, word would get around in two
- 10:30Speaker 1: weeks and it would all stop. They've done that. They
- 10:33Speaker 1: started doing that in San Francisco. It stopped instantly. Hey,
- 10:37Speaker 1: that stupid Starbucks, this is one messed up company, Starbucks,
- 10:43Speaker 1: pretty much invented the business of very high-end coffee shop
- 10:48Speaker 1: very special all kinds of incredible things on the menu
- 10:51Speaker 1: but a lot of other chains sprung up they're all
- 10:55Speaker 1: over the place now there's gregory's coffee guy from connecticut
- 10:59Speaker 1: named gregory started it they're big they're all over the
- 11:01Speaker 1: tri-state area what's that one over there blank street or
- 11:04Speaker 1: whatever it's called or uh there's a couple of them
- 11:07Speaker 1: that are much better and everybody's going you see the
- 11:10Speaker 1: line there and then down the block you see the
- 11:12Speaker 1: empty starbucks so remember uh About two years ago, they
- 11:17Speaker 1: started rebuilding all the Starbucks. They tried to make them
- 11:19Speaker 1: look better, look more sleek. Well, that wasn't the problem.
- 11:23Speaker 1: The problem was the quality. The problem was the price
- 11:26Speaker 1: was too high. Well, look at this. Starbucks now closing
- 11:30Speaker 1: 250 stores, 17 in New York alone, many in New
- 11:37Speaker 1: York City. You know, if you've got a coffee shop
- 11:39Speaker 1: in New York City and you can't make it, you
- 11:41Speaker 1: really got a problem. There's also mass layoffs that took
- 11:45Speaker 1: place at Starbucks. They just axed about 1,000 corporate staffers,
- 11:52Speaker 1: laid off 300 non-retail employees. 1,000 locations have been redesigned.
- 12:00Speaker 1: It's pretty stupid. Remember years ago, the strategy was you
- 12:04Speaker 1: open a Starbucks every two blocks. That didn't work out.
- 12:10Speaker 1: So five years later, they spent a fortune remodeling them
- 12:13Speaker 1: Now they're going to spend the next three years closing them.
- 12:16Speaker 1: And it couldn't happen to a more annoying company than Starbucks. Hey,
- 12:21Speaker 1: many New Yorkers are really fed up with the taxes here. Now,
- 12:28Speaker 1: Blakeman has tied Kathy Hochul in the real polls, not
- 12:31Speaker 1: the fake public ones. In the real polls, they're both
- 12:34Speaker 1: within the margin of error. So it's basically tied. There's
- 12:38Speaker 1: an undercurrent. There's like an undertow in all of this.
- 12:43Speaker 1: that the polls and people and the fake news don't measure,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and that's it. People are a little disgusted with the taxes,
- 12:49Speaker 1: the spending, the affordability, and they're not blaming Bruce Blakeman
- 12:53Speaker 1: for it. Just the opposite. Nassau County has never raised taxes.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Hochul's raised taxes. Hochul's come up with schemes like congestion pricing.
- 13:03Speaker 1: But look at this latest survey. How many people are
- 13:06Speaker 1: really fed up? It turns out it's like 88%. 88%
- 13:10Speaker 1: are furious about the taxes. Now, listen to this. 64%
- 13:15Speaker 1: of New Yorkers, registered voters, 64% believe we should abolish
- 13:23Speaker 1: all state income tax. You can do that. It's easy
- 13:27Speaker 1: to do. You don't need state income tax. They do
- 13:29Speaker 1: it in Florida, Texas, and a lot of places. And
- 13:32Speaker 1: they make more revenue than we do. You can do it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You don't have to have a state income tax because
- 13:38Speaker 1: if you get rid of it, everybody comes running in here. Now,
- 13:40Speaker 1: the only problem is, If you get rid of the
- 13:43Speaker 1: state income tax, everybody's going to want to move here.
- 13:46Speaker 1: That's more than half the reason everybody moves to Florida
- 13:49Speaker 1: or Texas to get away from the tax. But 64%
- 13:55Speaker 1: want no state income tax. And again, it's easy to do.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Nine states now, nine states have no state income tax.
- 14:02Speaker 1: And if you go to any of those nine states,
- 14:04Speaker 1: they're booming. Their economy is better than ours. Everything is better.
- 14:10Speaker 1: They got more revenue coming in than we do. You
- 14:12Speaker 1: just don't have to spend, we spend like, I think
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's 400 billion between state and New York City, the
- 14:19Speaker 1: budget together, 400 billion. Should be about 120 billion. The
- 14:25Speaker 1: rest of that is just waste and fraud. You get
- 14:27Speaker 1: rid of that and you don't need any state income tax.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You make plenty of money on sales tax, property tax,
- 14:35Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff. Now, Blakeman has already said
- 14:39Speaker 1: if he wins, He's going to try to eliminate all
- 14:42Speaker 1: state income tax on anybody under $ 50, 000. $ 100, 000 a year
- 14:48Speaker 1: for married couples. It'll cost about $ 35 billion. But again,
- 14:52Speaker 1: we could easily cut $ 100 billion out of the budget.
- 14:55Speaker 1: He wants to lower the top tax rate from 6%
- 14:58Speaker 1: to 4%. Don't be surprised if this turns out to
- 15:02Speaker 1: be the secret sauce that Blakeman's going to win on,
- 15:06Speaker 1: that people are fed up with the taxes. They may
- 15:08Speaker 1: not be telling pollsters, but We'll see. We'll take some
- 15:11Speaker 1: calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number. 800-321-0710.
