When the sun sets on Ocean City’s beaches, the real work begins—led by the unsung “sand farmers” of the OC Public Works Department. While tourists sleep, these dedicated crew members tackle ten miles of trash, debris, and sand, cleaning and leveling the beach by 7 AM to greet the next day’s crowds.
