- 0:00Speaker 1: I'm Oliver ray Allron and uh I make jokes for
- 0:03Speaker 1: arts Fire.
- 0:05Speaker 2: We could love that.
- 0:06Speaker 3: What excites you most about returning to Australia for the
- 0:09Speaker 3: January tour?
- 0:11Speaker 1: Well, I got to say the possibility of meeting Scotti Cam.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Oh really?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Well yeah, I mean I am a Block fan, and uh,
- 0:21Speaker 1: I think meeting Scotti Camp would be so awesome. I
- 0:23Speaker 1: don't know if he would like me, but I would
- 0:24Speaker 1: like him. I think I.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Love you.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope. So I feel like I would just
- 0:31Speaker 1: want to have like a pint with him and just
- 0:37Speaker 1: than the tour will be cool. But yeah, running into
- 0:41Speaker 1: him somewhere.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's awesome. So you watch the Block
- 0:45Speaker 2: all the way from Canada?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Well yeah, because my wife's Australian. So uh it started
- 0:51Speaker 1: out as I was on the couch and I was
- 0:53Speaker 1: kind of forced to watch it. But then you get
- 0:54Speaker 1: kind of hooked, you know, you want to see those reveals,
- 0:57Speaker 1: you want to see the auction I mean into So yeah,
- 1:02Speaker 1: kind of hooked.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So yeah, that's crazy, do you know.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Okay, so this is aside from interview, but I live
- 1:08Speaker 3: in a place called Mudgie in New South Wales and
- 1:11Speaker 3: he has a house.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Here oh really, yeah, awesome.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't found it, but I'm.
- 1:18Speaker 1: My Yeah, hopefully he might be around. Yeah, that's one
- 1:23Speaker 1: of one of the things. But I I always love
- 1:26Speaker 1: going to Australia, and whether we're playing or I'm just
- 1:28Speaker 1: there on vacation, it's just like it's I just I
- 1:31Speaker 1: just love it. So we're really looking forward to it.
- 1:34Speaker 1: The food is awesome. Everyone's really fun and talkative, you know,
- 1:38Speaker 1: because we're in We're in Vancouver and as a city,
- 1:41Speaker 1: like people don't interact very much like Australians. Like it
- 1:45Speaker 1: seems like Australians they'll like, they'll talk to each other
- 1:47Speaker 1: and if they don't know each other, you know.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 3: See I've heard that Canada is pretty similar to some
- 1:54Speaker 3: areas of Australia though as well.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, kind of like Sydney. It's it's it's similar
- 2:01Speaker 1: to Sydney like Vancouver is for sure. But uh, but
- 2:05Speaker 1: as far as crowds go, and just you know, Australian
- 2:07Speaker 1: crowds are just awesome. They're they're one of the best crowds.
- 2:10Speaker 1: So really looking forward to that. I'll tell you I
- 2:13Speaker 1: didn't think that either. I would just say the crowds sucks.
- 2:16Speaker 2: So yeah, Oh, that's is there.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Is there a particular memory from the last time you
- 2:22Speaker 3: guys were he in Australia that really stands out for you?
- 2:28Speaker 1: You know? I think like what what stood out for
- 2:30Speaker 1: me was just the amount of people that did shoies. Uh.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Stage was really cool because I heard about shoies, but
- 2:39Speaker 1: I didn't know if people would actually do them. And
- 2:42Speaker 1: then we got people doing shoies every night on stage
- 2:44Speaker 1: and I was blown away. These are some horly shoes too,
- 2:48Speaker 1: like they're they're pretty rough and people were just beer
- 2:51Speaker 1: out of them. So that was really cool to really
- 2:54Speaker 1: cool to see that.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Do you think you'd ever do one?
- 2:58Speaker 1: No, I don't think I. I would maybe a clean shoe,
- 3:03Speaker 1: you know, like maybe if it was like Channing Tatum's
- 3:06Speaker 1: shoe or something somebody that was like, you know, like
- 3:08Speaker 1: a Hunky Boys shoe, maybe, but but I don't know.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't I don't think so definitely not like a shoe.
- 3:15Speaker 2: No, No, that's fair enough.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but I love a lot people do them. That's sweet.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, And Australia is known for going hard at shows.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I've just asked you that.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Sorry, arch Spires technical precision is insane live what's the
- 3:30Speaker 3: hardest part of translating the studio sound to the stage.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Well, I think like the hardest kind of job is
- 3:40Speaker 1: is maybe our sound guy's job, because you know, I
- 3:44Speaker 1: think it puts a lot on a sound engineer to uh,
- 3:48Speaker 1: you know, the audience loves to pick apart the sound
- 3:50Speaker 1: of a show, so we can we can be performing
- 3:53Speaker 1: as best we can and uh and if the sound
- 3:56Speaker 1: quality isn't there, then you know, people blame the band
- 3:59Speaker 1: and the sound guy or both or you know. So
- 4:02Speaker 1: I think that's that's a challenge, just to make sure
- 4:04Speaker 1: that we're coming across as close to the album as
- 4:07Speaker 1: as we can. Yeah, you know, but we also don't
- 4:10Speaker 1: take it too seriously, Like we all fuck up on
- 4:13Speaker 1: stage sometimes and uh, and we don't beat ourselves up
- 4:16Speaker 1: about it. And sometimes it's funny and then you know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: sometimes the next night you're just like, Okay, well I
- 4:20Speaker 1: messed that part up a little bit. I'm going to
- 4:22Speaker 1: try to work on that part tonight. So, you know,
- 4:24Speaker 1: so I think we just you know, we relax and
- 4:27Speaker 1: have fun with it and hopefully people that show up
- 4:29Speaker 1: to the show think that we did a pretty good job.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Let's see it. It's funny.
- 4:33Speaker 3: You mean, I've never really thought about this when a
- 4:35Speaker 3: crowd is like, oh, this sound was crap for that show,
- 4:38Speaker 3: do you guys hear the same, like in your inner
- 4:41Speaker 3: monitors or whatever, like, does the sound crap to you
- 4:43Speaker 3: as well?
- 4:44Speaker 1: No, we can't tell, so yeah, because we have our
- 4:47Speaker 1: own our own mix and our own system for our
- 4:49Speaker 1: in ear monitors, so we don't know what it sounds
- 4:52Speaker 1: like to the audience. And we've actually had new sound
- 4:55Speaker 1: guys come on and uh, and we thought the show
- 4:58Speaker 1: went really well, but and people in the audience will
- 5:01Speaker 1: be like, oh, the sound was terrible. So we're it
- 5:03Speaker 1: is we kind of go in, you know, going not
- 5:06Speaker 1: really knowing. Yeah, but we've had a good experience in
- 5:09Speaker 1: Australia and the whole Australian team they're they're really good,
- 5:12Speaker 1: So hopefully it won't be shitty sound for for any fans.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And if it is, it's not your fault.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Well, it could be me just being bad at my instruments,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so it could be me being a bad vocalist. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: I would recommend that if the sound isn't good, to
- 5:25Speaker 1: go up directly to the sound guy and tell him
- 5:27Speaker 1: what he could be better. They love that they love that.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and do you have any pre show rituals that
- 5:34Speaker 3: help lock in the speed and accuracy you guys are
- 5:36Speaker 3: known for.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I think we all do slightly different things, but I don't.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I don't warm up backstage because I think that's annoying
- 5:45Speaker 1: for everyone. I think if you're yelling backstage, you know,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I don't know, it's it's probably pretty obnoxious. So I
- 5:54Speaker 1: don't really have anything to get my speed up. But
- 5:57Speaker 1: I think just not being hungover as a good one. Yes,
- 6:02Speaker 1: that's a good one. But you know that when we
- 6:04Speaker 1: when we first started touring, it was like a party time.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And yeah, and now we're kind of old dudes, like
- 6:09Speaker 1: we play cards and you know, we'll have a few drinks,
- 6:12Speaker 1: but generally we're not. You know, you're feeling good the
- 6:15Speaker 1: day of the show is really important, you know. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: other than that, not not really. Yeah, just maybe maybe
- 6:23Speaker 1: doing some jumping jacks or something to get your blood out,
- 6:25Speaker 1: But no, no crazy rituals, just kind of hanging out.
- 6:29Speaker 3: You did you guys used to have any crazy rituals.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I don't think so. I mean, I know drummers like
- 6:35Speaker 1: to warm up a lot, yeah, and all the all
- 6:38Speaker 1: the all the guys will warm up guitar and bass
- 6:40Speaker 1: and stuff. I guess I'm just the lazy one and
- 6:42Speaker 1: I don't really do it, but but yeah, they all
- 6:47Speaker 1: just warm up their instruments and uh, I usually just
- 6:50Speaker 1: annoy them while they're trying to warm up and moving.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So yes, so yeah, yeah, so if I'm with them,
- 6:58Speaker 1: then they're getting annoyed, then then I'm much good to go.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yeah. No, but it sounds like you'll consider it as
- 7:04Speaker 2: well though. That's a good point. You don't want to
- 7:05Speaker 2: annoy everyone backstage, that's nice of you.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, and a lot of death metal singers will
- 7:11Speaker 1: be doing like actual scales like they're and then they'll
- 7:13Speaker 1: go on stage and just sing death metal and I'm like,
- 7:15Speaker 1: how does the scales help you? Yes, it's a bit
- 7:19Speaker 1: silly because they're not clean singing. So yeah, I never
- 7:23Speaker 1: really understood that. Maybe there's something to it, but I
- 7:25Speaker 1: just don't want to bother everyone with I just grew
- 7:29Speaker 1: up and what they get is what they get.
- 7:31Speaker 2: What they get, that's right.
- 7:33Speaker 3: And has a set list for the Australian Tool changed
- 7:36Speaker 3: much from the from earlier in the year.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it has a bit well, the set list and
- 7:43Speaker 1: the drummer will be new editions, so we uh, it'll
- 7:46Speaker 1: be our first tour with our new drummer, which which
- 7:50Speaker 1: is exciting for all of us. And we will on
- 7:53Speaker 1: that tour be playing two new songs off our new
- 7:55Speaker 1: album that will be out by that.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, how exciting. How often it's going with
- 8:01Speaker 2: the new album.
- 8:03Speaker 1: We're they're going really well. Yeah, we're really excited. We
- 8:06Speaker 1: have it all done and it's the vinyls being pressed
- 8:09Speaker 1: right now and we're just working on music videos right now.
- 8:13Speaker 1: So that's so we could quite busy video correct me if.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I'm wrong, but you guys self produced this one.
- 8:20Speaker 1: We did yeah well with the help of all the fans.
- 8:22Speaker 1: So we did a kickstarter because we went independent, and
- 8:27Speaker 1: the kickstarter did quite well, so which was great because
- 8:30Speaker 1: now we have all the overhead to make really cool
- 8:32Speaker 1: videos and to make the album look cool and you know,
- 8:35Speaker 1: so I think the end result, we're really happy with it,
- 8:39Speaker 1: so hopefully people will be. But yeah, we want to
- 8:42Speaker 1: make sure that anyone that that supported that kickstarter is
- 8:46Speaker 1: you know, we exceed their expectations of when they get
- 8:49Speaker 1: you know, the final products. So so that's what we're
- 8:51Speaker 1: working on. Right now. Yeah, did it feel a.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Lot more liberating doing it yourselves?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah? Absolutely. It turns out it's a lot of work though,
- 9:00Speaker 1: which we didn't. We knew it would be a lot
- 9:03Speaker 1: of work, but we didn't. You know, there's so many
- 9:05Speaker 1: of these different avenues that you have to go down
- 9:09Speaker 1: for a full release that you know, so new things
- 9:11Speaker 1: are always coming up that we we have to tackle,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and uh, but it's been it's been a great experience
- 9:16Speaker 1: and I don't think we'd ever go back if we
- 9:18Speaker 1: could help it.
- 9:19Speaker 2: So, Yeah, that's weak. Always so excited for that.
- 9:23Speaker 3: And are there any songs who are especially excited to
- 9:25Speaker 3: bring back or debut live on this front.
- 9:30Speaker 1: From our old songs, I mean, they all kind of
- 9:32Speaker 1: blend into one for me to be honest with. Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 1: but uh, I think I'm just most excited to h
- 9:39Speaker 1: to hear them being played by our new drummer, Spencer More,
- 9:42Speaker 1: because you know, we we've had the same drummer for
- 9:45Speaker 1: our whole career and uh, and now we have some
- 9:49Speaker 1: new blood and he's really working his ass off to
- 9:51Speaker 1: play these songs. So I'm just I kind of feel
- 9:54Speaker 1: like we're you know, I get a bit of that
- 9:56Speaker 1: like starting over kind of energy like that exciting like
- 10:00Speaker 1: almost new band energy because we get, you know, a
- 10:03Speaker 1: new person in playing the songs for the first time,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and so that's what I'm really excited about. And I
- 10:08Speaker 1: think there'll be slight little differences that we'll hear that
- 10:11Speaker 1: the audience will hear that will we'll hopefully excite them.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So yeah, that's we did.
- 10:16Speaker 3: And obviously things like rehearsal with Fence has gone really well.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Well he did an amazing job on the
- 10:23Speaker 1: new album and he has a ton of work, Like
- 10:28Speaker 1: he just did an insane amount of work, and we're
- 10:31Speaker 1: all lazy old guys, so to have somebody new doing
- 10:33Speaker 1: working their ass off is really nice. But but yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I think he's going to do do an excellent job
- 10:40Speaker 1: with all the old material and stuff. So but again,
- 10:43Speaker 1: if somebody thinks he didn't do a good job, just
- 10:45Speaker 1: make sure you tell him on the internet.
- 10:47Speaker 2: That's fine of them.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah harassed.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Yeah, And is there a band or the type of
- 10:53Speaker 3: music lately that's inspiring.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You, Well, I just went just see one of my
- 11:00Speaker 1: favorite rappers are the Rugged Man. He's he's really awesome,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and that kind of gave me some inspiration because he
- 11:07Speaker 1: does a lot of really fast wrap. Yeah, so it
- 11:11Speaker 1: was really cool to see him. It was a really
- 11:13Speaker 1: small venue. I think there was like forty or fifty
- 11:14Speaker 1: people there, but but that was really cool. I'm yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I As far as new metal bands, I none are
- 11:22Speaker 1: really coming to mind at the moment. But but I
- 11:26Speaker 1: always find a lot of influence in speed rappers, just
- 11:29Speaker 1: because that's kind of what I do, and you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: I can get really inspired by I'll hear a verse.
- 11:36Speaker 1: That's just I have no idea how they pulled it
- 11:37Speaker 1: off and h and that makes me want to work
- 11:39Speaker 1: a bit harder.
- 11:40Speaker 2: So yeah, that's wicked.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Is there any collaborations you'd absolutely love to do? Maybe
- 11:45Speaker 3: with the speed Rappers sometime.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Well, I mean we've tried to get Tech nine to
- 11:49Speaker 1: notice us since we started, Yeah, because we all you know,
- 11:53Speaker 1: he's just phenomenal what he does. Yeah, but he has yet,
- 11:57Speaker 1: he has yet to reach out or notice us. So
- 11:59Speaker 1: maybe on this out them, maybe we can we can
- 12:02Speaker 1: get his attention. But yeah, that would be an ultimate
- 12:05Speaker 1: collaboration for sure. Yeah, Spice Girls, just because if they
- 12:09Speaker 1: came back, that would be sick.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, imagine that collaboration.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Great, Yeah, well.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Maybe we'll have to put this out into the world.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Tech nine.
- 12:20Speaker 3: If you can telepathically hear us right now, please get together, Wicked.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And what's the most unexpected thing that's happened to you
- 12:32Speaker 3: on stage recently?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Well, we actually haven't been on stage recently, so that
- 12:40Speaker 1: that was the unexpected thing. All right, Okay, it's okay,
- 12:46Speaker 1: We've just you know, I think that's that's why I'm
- 12:49Speaker 1: so excited to finally be getting back on tour, and
- 12:52Speaker 1: this year we have a lot of tours. But but yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: we're just with making the new album. It takes us
- 12:57Speaker 1: so long to write an album and then you know,
- 13:00Speaker 1: we go we traveled to Denver to record it, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: then we come back and we you know, making these
- 13:06Speaker 1: music videos. So I'm so yeah, I'm just excited for
- 13:09Speaker 1: for terrible things to happen to me on stage again. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: that's kindly r Yeah. Generally, you know, I don't have
- 13:16Speaker 1: too many horror stories of being on stage because metal
- 13:19Speaker 1: crowds are usually really really cool and yeah, and yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 1: for the most part, you know, everyone's everyone's pretty nice.
- 13:26Speaker 1: So I can't think of something offhand that's that's really
- 13:31Speaker 1: been a shame. I mean it's all it's all pretty
- 13:33Speaker 1: fun stuff.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yeah, oh that's weird.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Changing that question then, is there an experience what's the
- 13:40Speaker 3: coolest or weirdest experience you've had with a fan or
- 13:42Speaker 3: maybe a gift that someone's given you that's really cool
- 13:45Speaker 3: or weird.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Oh gift, I mean a lot of people. We had
- 13:50Speaker 1: a time where people would show up bringing me like
- 13:53Speaker 1: hard boiled eggs a lot because I because I had
- 13:58Speaker 1: this thing where I was eating like, I don't know,
- 14:00Speaker 1: twenty five eggs a day for a while for fun.
- 14:03Speaker 1: So people would show up eggs, which seems nice. Mystery
- 14:06Speaker 1: eggs are kind of weird coming from Yeah, so you
- 14:11Speaker 1: know that's we get weird, weird gifts like that. Or
- 14:14Speaker 1: I used to do I would guess list people if
- 14:17Speaker 1: they brought me meat as well, like some steaks or something,
- 14:21Speaker 1: so that would be kind of That was kind of
- 14:23Speaker 1: cool because you get people being like, oh, this is
- 14:24Speaker 1: from the farm next door and it's like meat. So
- 14:28Speaker 1: that was fun. And we just cooked in on the bus,
- 14:31Speaker 1: like in the trailer on the bus on a little cooker.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So yeah, that's a use Yeah that's a useful gift.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But yeah, other than that, like not too many, you know, yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 1: not too many weird gifts.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, eggs are pretty weird.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Eggs are kind of weird. Yeah. Other than that, yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 1: people just have like food they bring me, so that's
- 14:53Speaker 1: kind of nice.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, oh that's yeah, that's cool. And what's your favorite
- 14:59Speaker 3: Australian band?
- 15:02Speaker 1: Oh, favorite Australian band. Oh that's a good one. Well,
- 15:06Speaker 1: I have to say Psychroptics because I knew it. I
- 15:10Speaker 1: kind of have to. Like that's the Australian band that
- 15:12Speaker 1: I listen to the most, and they're also really good friends.
- 15:17Speaker 1: But I actually like Plini a lot too. Yeah, I
- 15:20Speaker 1: don't know, but yeah, Pleini is is awesome because I
- 15:23Speaker 1: really like instrumental music and they just are insane guitar players.
- 15:27Speaker 1: So I like, I like putting on Pleanie and like
- 15:30Speaker 1: when I have to clean my house or something.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, that's super interesting.
- 15:34Speaker 3: A lot of see a lot of artists I speak to,
- 15:37Speaker 3: they do actually have a similar similar answer, where you know,
- 15:41Speaker 3: they like to tune out by listening to classical music
- 15:43Speaker 3: or whatever, and I'm like, that's really interesting. Do you
- 15:47Speaker 3: listen to obviously, you listen to music outside of your
- 15:49Speaker 3: own genre?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, A lot of the time. I don't
- 15:55Speaker 1: really listen to a lot of death metal unless it's
- 15:58Speaker 1: you know, a cool, exciting new song, or if it's
- 16:01Speaker 1: my guitar player sends me, you know, an old band
- 16:03Speaker 1: that I haven't heard of or something like that. Yeah,
- 16:05Speaker 1: But generally I like a lot of kind of country
- 16:08Speaker 1: western music and uh yeah, like not gas station country,
- 16:13Speaker 1: but like, you know, like I like Rancher, kind of
- 16:15Speaker 1: Rancher cowboy music, yeah, a lot, yeah, and some bluegrass
- 16:19Speaker 1: and uh yeah, and then a lot of instrumental stuff,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you know.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Do you like any of the new sort of country
- 16:26Speaker 3: artists like Morgan Wollen? I hope he's a country artist.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I don't really know too much.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Oh, I honestly haven't heard of him. Oh yeah, so
- 16:34Speaker 1: I should check that out.
- 16:35Speaker 3: But yeah maybe I don't know. I'm not huge into
- 16:37Speaker 3: the more newer country stuff. But he's a big one, right.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Yeah. My my favorite guy's name is Coulter Wall and
- 16:45Speaker 1: he's actually from Canada and he's uh yeah, he's probably
- 16:49Speaker 1: has the best voice I think I may have ever heard.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So yeah, he's definitely for sure.
- 16:54Speaker 2: That's I'm going to check that out after this too.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Culter Wall, Yeah, he's really good kid.
- 17:00Speaker 3: And are you working on any new musical ideas while
- 17:04Speaker 3: on the road or are you strictly in tool mode
- 17:06Speaker 3: right now? I know that's kind of a backwards question
- 17:09Speaker 3: because you are getting ready for the new album coming out. Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We I mean we we spend so long writing their
- 17:16Speaker 1: album that once we're done, we just kind of leave
- 17:18Speaker 1: the writing for a while. Yeah. And we've never really
- 17:22Speaker 1: been able to write on tour because the way we
- 17:24Speaker 1: write is all in a room altogether. And so I
- 17:28Speaker 1: know a lot of bands have you know, one guitar
- 17:30Speaker 1: player will write pretty much a whole song, yeah, and
- 17:32Speaker 1: then everyone will write to that. But we write every
- 17:35Speaker 1: single little piece together. So so we generally on tour
- 17:39Speaker 1: we just focus on the performance and and yeah, put
- 17:43Speaker 1: it off till we absolutely have to write, and then.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just it.
- 17:47Speaker 3: And do you find that you're quite the perfectionist with
- 17:52Speaker 3: songs like is it? Do you always find things that
- 17:55Speaker 3: you're like, oh, I want to change this or that
- 17:56Speaker 3: or are you pretty good at going no, that's done,
- 17:59Speaker 3: send it out sort of thing.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I think we're all very uh, yeah, I would say
- 18:05Speaker 1: we're all very very opinionated on every single little part
- 18:10Speaker 1: and so we kind of we we do generally have
- 18:13Speaker 1: a rule like if one person doesn't like something, then
- 18:16Speaker 1: we don't use it. So you know, so four of
- 18:19Speaker 1: us could love it and one person it doesn't really
- 18:21Speaker 1: like it. So it takes way longer to write that way.
- 18:24Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, like it means
- 18:26Speaker 1: that we're all enthusiastic about playing those songs on stage,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you know. So yeah, yeah, for the most part, we
- 18:33Speaker 1: make sure that everyone's happy with it.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, that's awesome. And is there anything you want.
- 18:38Speaker 3: To say directly to the Australian fans before the January
- 18:41Speaker 3: Sharks off?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Bring your shoes because bring your shoes because I think
- 18:48Speaker 1: we're going to be bringing the shoeies back. Yeah, clean
- 18:50Speaker 1: or Jerry, that's up to you.
- 18:52Speaker 2: So we may see a shoey from you.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I don't know if you'll see a shoey from me. No,
- 18:58Speaker 1: but I am practicing my Didjery do, so we'll see. Uh,
- 19:01Speaker 1: that's so wicked.
