- 0:00It's the worldwide sports radio network.
- 0:06In the Monday Night Football doubleheader, the 2024 first
- 0:09pick Caleb Williams and the Bears defeated 2024 second pick
- 0:13and Offensive Rookie of the Year Jaden Daniels 25 to 24 after
- 0:18Daniels fumble late and recently acquired San Francisco 49ers
- 0:22cast off kicker Jake Moody's fourth field goal completed the
- 0:25comeback for Caleb and crew in shy town.
- 0:29In the other game, 2024 MVP Josh Allen and the Bills dropped
- 0:34their second straight game after they were thoroughly dominated
- 0:37by Bijon Robinson, Drake London and a lights out Falcon defense
- 0:4224 to 14 heading into their bye week next week.
- 0:46Can the Bills rebound after another defensive disappointment
- 0:49and underwhelming performance by the Bills offense or is the AFC
- 0:54East like the NFC North and surprisingly the NFC East wide
- 0:58open? And before we crack a six pack
- 1:01with speedy and go through some week seven NFL picks, we will
- 1:04dive deep into the Dodgers 2O lead in the NLCS, led by a
- 1:07historically dominant starting pitching performance in both
- 1:11games one and two and the Mariners 2O lead in the ALCS
- 1:14after taking both games at Toronto ahead of game three from
- 1:17T-Mobile Park in Seattle tonight on another all new action-packed
- 1:23Wednesday night edition of Jabba and the man they're going to
- 1:27have a. Ton of money to spend.
- 1:31Why not putting in one of the top three offensive players in
- 1:34the league? We're going to be looking at
- 1:44Aaron George and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 1:47Jordan said. I played 82 games.
- 1:50You don't see the fun doing that.
- 1:51A game where you got to go, I told you giant feet and Saquon
- 1:57Barkley at 316723108 is the number to call.
- 3:11You're listening to just the mouth tonight.
- 3:14I'm just kidding. Jabba and the mouth.
- 3:17The mouth is here. Jabba is not.
- 3:19He's moved into his new house. He know he has no fiber optics,
- 3:24no Internet. So he might join us tonight.
- 3:26He might not. But you do have me.
- 3:29You have Speedy. He got the fish.
- 3:32You got the board up man himself.
- 3:34Mr. Tommy. Poop Scoop.

- 3:53website at www.worldwidesportsorradio.com.
- 4:00Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we do not have Jabba tonight as far as
- 4:04I know. We don't know if he's going to
- 4:06pop in. He might be hanging out in his
- 4:08his bed on his phone. He might be hanging out in his
- 4:11office. He might be hanging out in his
- 4:13damn car. I don't know.
- 4:15He's been moving for the last three days, actually four days
- 4:18from from one house to another house to another house, 3
- 4:22houses. Just think about it.
- 4:23He moved his father's house, he moved his house and now he's in
- 4:28his new house. SO3 houses, ladies and
- 4:30gentlemen. And the great Jabba Chamberlain
- 4:33did not hire any movement. No, no, no move guys, no
- 4:37nothing. It's just Jabba and himself.
- 4:40So I'm sure he has a a bad back or bad hips and he did lose a
- 4:46little bit of weight. So maybe he's a little bit more
- 4:49conditioned to do that. I don't know.
- 4:51We're going to have to ask Jabba when he comes in next week or
- 4:54and maybe a little bit later in the show.
- 4:56Who knows? It might be a surprise.
- 4:57I'm sure he's listening to the show right now.
- 4:59Well, you know, it's crazy because over the last couple of
- 5:04weeks I've been losing weight myself.
- 5:07I've been taking care of myself, not drinking any sugar drinks.
- 5:11Actually. It's been a couple months for
- 5:12that and I've dropped about 36 lbs and I feel good.
- 5:16And you know, it's, it's crazy when you lose a lot of weight
- 5:19and I don't know if anybody knows this, you get sick a lot
- 5:22quicker. I don't know if that makes any
- 5:25sense, but I've been getting colds and I flu bugs over the
- 5:30last couple of weeks when I was about 2:30 and I wasn't fat.
- 5:34I was just bulky and meaty and muscular.
- 5:38I, I never got sick. I I and over the last couple of
- 5:41weeks it it's been on and off. I've been taking a lot of
- 5:44different vitamins, trying to stay a little bit healthy,
- 5:47flushing my system out, making sure that I'm drinking a lot of
- 5:52water as you see me drink water every single show.
- 5:54You see this? What am I promoting here over
- 5:56here? Oh, I'm sorry.
- 5:57Great valued, hurt, purified drinking water, ladies and
- 6:02gentlemen. It's not polling spring.
- 6:03So I, I'm a little out there on that.
- 6:05But yeah, so I've been trying to take care of myself.
- 6:08The weather's been crazy, too. It was raining all weekend and
- 6:12now really, since yesterday it cleared up and today it's sunny.
- 6:17It's beautiful weather. It's like 6263° here.
- 6:21I'm loving it that the people are just idiots over here.
- 6:23Nasty, nasty people. And there's more accidents
- 6:27really when it's nice out then there are in the rain or the
- 6:30snow. It doesn't make any sense,
- 6:32Speedy, I, I know you don't drive.
- 6:34You're you're scared to jump in the the driver's seat and half
- 6:37the time you're buckling your seat belt before you get into
- 6:39the passenger seat. So what is it Speedy?
- 6:41What do you? Think that sounds physically
- 6:43impossible, but what do you mean?
- 6:44I'd love to admit to that that. What are you doing?
- 6:46What's impossible here? It's buckling a seat belt while
- 6:49I'm standing outside the car. Before I sit down, you are
- 6:52speedy. You're the great speedy PD.
- 6:53You have magical powers. Apparently.
- 6:55Yes, but what what do you think is the problem here?
- 6:58Why do you think people are just animals here in New York?
- 7:01Because Jeff thinks everybody's an animal here.
- 7:03It's an aggressive nature. It's a lot of Northeast cities
- 7:05are like that. Boston's like that.
- 7:06Too, that goes to Jethly. No, gentlemen, it.
- 7:10Goes to my brothers. It goes to my brothers too.
- 7:12They've experienced it enough as well.
- 7:14Attacking the old Jeffrey, you know, it's, it's of Rhode
- 7:17Island, though. No, he actually lives in
- 7:19Florida, but he likes to take shots.
- 7:21He likes to take shots at New York people.
- 7:23He can't stand New York people. And he sends me all these
- 7:27different things that people. Portnoy has been attacking
- 7:30Yankee fans ever since the Boston series.
- 7:32So there's been stories coming out of Barstool and many
- 7:36different articles about New York fans and how vicious and
- 7:39mean and disgusting they are. And then Jeff sends me all these
- 7:43articles. He sends me the articles and he
- 7:45tells me, read this article, read what they're writing about
- 7:49New York people. And I'm like, I could care less
- 7:51what they're writing about New York people.
- 7:53New York people aren't me. And I'm not doing that.
- 7:55Do you see me going to a Yankee game and screaming at people and
- 7:58screaming at players and tell them to go kiss my ass?
- 8:01Seriously. I am.
- 8:03I'm. Doing something else next year
- 8:04though. What's that with your New
- 8:06Jersey? That that's different.
- 8:09That's different. I, I, I just want to let
- 8:11everybody know if you listen to this show, I can't stand jazz
- 8:15Chism and I call him jazz Chism. So I got a, a custom made jersey
- 8:20made and I know the Yankees are going to sign the idiot.
- 8:23So I'm going to go to opening day.
- 8:25Yes, you heard it from me. I'm going to Opening Day at
- 8:29Yankee Stadium next year wearing my Jazz jism jersey and I want
- 8:34the Yankee fans to kiss my rear end when I do it.
- 8:38I can't stand him, but I know the Yankees are going to sign
- 8:41him. I know it.
- 8:42I absolutely know it. A typical Yankee fashion.
- 8:45It just everything that I don't want the Yankees to do, they do,
- 8:50and everything I want the Yankees to do, they don't.
- 8:52So I'm just going to I'm just going to keep my mouth shut.
- 8:55I'm not going to throw the Yankees under the bus at all on
- 8:57this show and try to be kind and collective and hopefully they
- 9:01don't sign them and then they'll make me happy.
- 9:03So, I mean, seriously, at least I'm not wearing a giant's hat
- 9:0690% of the time on this show, you know, no, and, and, and
- 9:12right now, Jet fans, I, I want to say something, OK, I want to
- 9:16say this. I've been getting attacked on
- 9:20social media for the last 24 to 48 hours.
- 9:25My take on Aaron Glenn, and I said that Aaron Glenn is a
- 9:30quality coach. He's good.
- 9:32He's good for the New York Jets and he's going to be a good head
- 9:36coach for the New York Jets. And I listen over and over and
- 9:39over again on the despicable people attacking me.
- 9:42What do I, what am I watching? This guy's a deer in the
- 9:45headlights. He doesn't know what his ass is.
- 9:48His ass is half the time on the football field.
- 9:50He doesn't know when to call a time out.
- 9:52He doesn't know when to call in a field goal.
- 9:56Let me tell you guys something. If you guys think it's easy to
- 10:02be a head coach in the NFL, you're sadly mistaken.
- 10:06You have all these Jet guys, all these different podcasts
- 10:08telling, talking about what they would do.
- 10:11I could care less what any of these idiots on their stupid
- 10:15podcasts are saying about Aaron Glenn.
- 10:19What makes you think you know more than Aaron Glenn does as a
- 10:23football player? This was a this was a guy that
- 10:26was a three time, four time pro baller.
- 10:29This guy at one point was in elite corner in this league.
- 10:33He was one of the best defensive coordinators in the NFL for how
- 10:37many years? And you're going to attack this
- 10:40guy because in his first year as a head coach for the New York
- 10:42Jets, not with his roster, with Robert AKA Bambi Solid's roster,
- 10:47you're going to attack him and throw him under the bus and tell
- 10:50him and most, most of you Jet fans are saying to get rid of
- 10:54him, take a hike. It's despicable.
- 10:59And yes, I am going to stick up for Aaron Glenn.
- 11:01I am because Dan Campbell, when he started with the Lions, every
- 11:08Lion fan was upset at him. They couldn't stand him.
- 11:11He would go up to the press conferences, not how not really
- 11:14know how to answer the media. And that was in Detroit.
- 11:19Aaron Glenn's in New York, the worst when it comes to media and
- 11:23he answers every single one of these writers questions even
- 11:28though he doesn't want to. Was he wrong about Steve Wilkes?
- 11:31Yeah, I've said this many, many times on this show.
- 11:34I didn't think Steve Wilkes was the right pick when it comes to
- 11:37the defensive corner. I think he should be calling the
- 11:39defensive play calling. But though take a shot at this
- 11:43guy and say that he is not a good coach.
- 11:47It takes three years to know if this guy is going to develop
- 11:50players. He doesn't even have his own
- 11:52quarterback, Justin Fields, I'll get into a little bit later.
- 11:57The fact is here, we don't know what Aaron Glenn is.
- 12:02What I see with Aaron Glenn is the players like him and these
- 12:08games aren't being dominated by the teams that they're playing
- 12:11against. They didn't get dominated by the
- 12:14Cowboys. They didn't get dominated by the
- 12:17Broncos. They didn't get dominated by
- 12:20Miami or Pittsburgh. The Jets could have won three
- 12:25out of the six games, but they're O and six.
- 12:29And we're going to sit here and we're going to blame everything
- 12:34on a new coach who's still trying to figure out who's going
- 12:37to be here next year and who's not.
- 12:40Who they're drafting in in the first round as the as their
- 12:43quarterback and who are they going to keep on this roster in
- 12:47the on the long run? If, if, if, if, if push comes to
- 12:50shove, it's it's just terrible. Jet fans.
- 12:56You say you're the best fans in the world and you might be.
- 13:00I'm a Jet fan, but I'm not going to hide behind my words on
- 13:05social media. I don't have to.
- 13:09I tell you how I feel on this show.
- 13:13I do believe Aaron Glenn is going to be a good coach in this
- 13:17league. It might take two years, it
- 13:19might take three. Whoever The Jets draft in the
- 13:23first round at quarterback next year is going to really set that
- 13:28in motion. Justin Fields was not the guy.
- 13:34I thought Justin Fields was going to play better this year.
- 13:36He really has not figured out how to step into the pocket.
- 13:40I'm not going to hate on him. Aaron Glenn speaks very highly
- 13:44of the kid because that's what the coach and that's what you
- 13:47want your coach to do. You don't want to throw your
- 13:50players under the bus. When you do that, you lose your
- 13:53team and Jet fans disrespecting him and giving up on him as
- 14:01quick as they have just shows you how bad the fanbase is and
- 14:06how bad this organization has been for years when it comes to
- 14:10the coaches and even the GM's. I'm worried for Aaron Glenn
- 14:18because Aaron Glenn is going to get pushed out of here faster
- 14:23because of these fans. We've seen this before.
- 14:27Remember John Isnick? Remember him?
- 14:31Remember the GM for the New York Jets?
- 14:33Speedy, You remember? What are you doing over there?
- 14:35Texting. I am retweeting the show.
- 14:38Remember John Isnick. Oh yeah.
- 14:40They'll blame fire. It's like, yeah, I remember
- 14:42that. Came from Seattle, took over
- 14:45after. I think it was Mike Mccagnon if
- 14:46it wasn't. No, he was right.
- 14:48Before that, I'm sorry, right before Mike Mccammon.
- 14:50He drafted Gino Smith. Remember that in one year they
- 14:54fired him. Why?
- 14:57Because in practice, on practice days, somebody paid to have a
- 15:04Goodyear blimps and airplanes fly over the practice field
- 15:08screaming and saying fire is Nick.
- 15:13After the season, Woody Johnson had nothing else but to nothing
- 15:18else better to do but fire John. Did he deserve that?
- 15:23No. No.
- 15:24Do I do I think is Nick was going to be a good GM?
- 15:27No, probably not. He was right about Geno Smith.
- 15:32Geno Smith has been a competent quarterback in this league.
- 15:35Took him a little while, but he's been competent.
- 15:39I just think it's it's pathetic. It's wrong to throw this man
- 15:44under the bus the way Jet fans have done so over six games.
- 15:50This guy is a Jet. He's a long time Jet who wanted
- 15:56this job. He could have taken the Saints
- 15:58job. He could have taken and sat down
- 16:01with the Cowboys and took the Cowboys job.
- 16:03He would have been in a better position because they have Dak
- 16:06Prescott. Hate him or not, they have a
- 16:10company quarterback there. It's pathetic.
- 16:14Jet fans, you got to stop. You want to attack me, attack
- 16:17me. Don't attack Aaron Glenn, give
- 16:19Aaron Glenn a little bit of a chance and we're going to come
- 16:21back to this three years from now.
- 16:24I can't wait to hear what the Jet fans are going to say about
- 16:27this guy. I can't wait.
- 16:30At 8:45 we will be talking to former 9 year NFL quarterback
- 16:36and Auburn sports radio broadcaster Jason Campbell will
- 16:40be joining us for the first time on this show. 2006 to 2014 in
- 16:45the NFL, Commanders, Raiders, Bears, Browns and Bengals.
- 16:50So he will be joining us a little bit later show and I'm
- 16:52excited as I always am when we get a new guest on the show so
- 16:56we can argue some football. I'm sure he has his own opinion
- 16:59on the Shador Sanders take a lot of people do.
- 17:03In the first game of this week's Monday Night Football
- 17:06doubleheader, the Falcons upset the the Bills 24 to 14, led by
- 17:11170 rushing yards from * running back Bijon Robinson #1.
- 17:17Receiver Drake London also had a monster day with 10 catches for
- 17:21158 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons also dominated on
- 17:27the other side of the ball with their number one ranked pass
- 17:31defense limiting Josh Allen to only 180 passing yards and
- 17:36interception intercepted him twice, although he did have two
- 17:43passing touchdowns and 42 yards on the ground.
- 17:46Falcons quarterback Michael Pennix, junior said after the
- 17:49game that the Falcons talent is legit and beating the Bills
- 17:54means they can beat anybody in the league.
- 17:57Pennix finished 20 for 32 for 240 yards and the touchdown pass
- 18:04to London. In the second game, the Bears
- 18:07beat the Commanders 25 to 24 on a game-winning field goal by
- 18:12recent 49ers cast off Jake Moody, who had 4 field goals in
- 18:18the win. Running back DeAndre Swift led
- 18:21the Bears with 175 scrimmage yards and a touchdown.
- 18:25Caleb Williams had 252 passing yards and a touchdown in the air
- 18:31and another on the ground for the Commanders.
- 18:35Quarterback Jaden Daniels had 211 passing yards, 52 rushing
- 18:39yards and three touchdowns, but also had two turnovers,
- 18:43including a costly fumble late in the fourth quarter leading to
- 18:47a game-winning field goal. Michael Pennix, I know a lot of
- 18:52people all over social media loves him.
- 18:55They think he's great and maybe they could be right.
- 18:59I like Michael Pennix junior, too.
- 19:01I watched him play for Washington, play for a national
- 19:03championship, did lose, but play for a national championship
- 19:06broke records, had Mr. Roma, Dunze, as we all know, who
- 19:11obviously showed up in that Chicago game, as he always does.
- 19:19I I think Michael Pennix is still learning the game.
- 19:24I think Michael Pennix could be a great player.
- 19:27He's not yet, so fans put the stop sign up.
- 19:33The interesting fact here is you have a competent superstar in
- 19:38Bijan Robinson. This guy is the best running
- 19:41back in the league. When he came into the league, a
- 19:43lot of people question his skill.
- 19:45Could he catch the ball? Can he run the ball like he did
- 19:48in college? He's changed everybody's mind
- 19:52very quickly in his rookie season.
- 19:55He's been in a league for three years now and he's been one of
- 19:58the elite running backs, one of the more consistent running
- 20:01backs in this league. Why do you think he was the
- 20:04second guy to draft in this year's fantasy draft?
- 20:09In some leagues, he was first. Why?
- 20:13Because he touches the ball about 30 * a game.
- 20:15He catches the ball about 10 * a game.
- 20:17He sees the ball. Probably about 70% of the time
- 20:22for the Atlanta Falcons, you know what the Falcons are going
- 20:24to do, You can't stop them. That's what's amazing about
- 20:30Bijan Robinson is you know they're going to them.
- 20:35You just can't stop them. And this defense, not
- 20:40surprising. They spent a lot in the
- 20:42offseason when it came to going after these draft young players.
- 20:48They drafted 2 pass rushers early in this draft in the first
- 20:52round. They traded a lot to move up in
- 20:56the first round to get their final pick in the late first
- 21:01round and these guys have paid dividends.
- 21:04This was one of the worst pass rushing defenses in the league
- 21:08last year, and now they're the best in football and only
- 21:14football. That one season they could be
- 21:18absolutely bad and then the next season they could be elite.
- 21:22I don't think there's any sport that can change in the matter in
- 21:26a matter of two years like football does.
- 21:31You look at basketball, you can't do that in basketball.
- 21:33It takes years to develop players and even when you make a
- 21:37trade, it takes about a year or two to get them affiliated in
- 21:40that offense and that defense. Same thing in hockey, same thing
- 21:46in baseball. One player doesn't change a team
- 21:49in baseball. My Trout, did he change a team?
- 21:52Did Cher, Otani really change the Dodgers?
- 21:54No. They had Mookie, Betts,
- 21:57Friedman, They brought in stars to change that organization.
- 22:03But in football, if you have the right quarterback, if you have a
- 22:08good offensive line and you have a pass rush, you can win.
- 22:13And what has Atlanta done in the off season that has changed the
- 22:18factor of what this team is now this season?
- 22:22And that's their defense. You have a starting young
- 22:25quarterback that's playing in his first full season that is
- 22:28lightening it up on the ground and throwing.
- 22:33You have a young wide receiver that's finally staying healthy.
- 22:38In the first six games of the season last year, he was healthy
- 22:41pretty much. Drake London has been fighting
- 22:44injury after injury since he's come from USC.
- 22:49Drake London, The one caution that everybody had when they
- 22:52were draft, when they were thinking about drafting him, was
- 22:55his injury. His injury thought that he can't
- 22:58stay healthy. This is a good team.
- 23:05Are they better than the Buccaneers?
- 23:06No. Are they going to beat out in
- 23:09the division? The Buccaneers?
- 23:10No. Baker Mayfield right now as an
- 23:13MVP candidate. They're not even healthy.
- 23:16But this division went from one of the worst divisions in
- 23:19football to the best in the NFC. Think about it.
- 23:24Just think about it. Carolina is 3 and 3 the
- 23:31Buccaneers right now. What's their record?
- 23:335 and 1, Five and one. What is Atlanta's record?
- 23:384:00 and 2:00. 4:00 and 2:00 think about it, it's not
- 23:45shocking here. This is one of the best
- 23:48divisions in football and, and I, I now I'm, I thought the, the
- 23:54NFC North was going to have three teams.
- 23:55I don't see that. I could see 2 coming from the
- 24:00South, two maybe coming from the north, one possibly 2 coming
- 24:06from in the East and one from the West.
- 24:14That's how good the South has been this year.
- 24:18And it has a lot to do with I'm going to give, I'm going to give
- 24:22him a credit. Morris has been good.
- 24:26He's been good. He's been coaching this team.
- 24:29A lot of people question Raheem Morris.
- 24:32Why would you bring in Raheem Morris when you could have
- 24:34brought in Bill Belichick and his beautiful wife or fiance?
- 24:38You have to look at that ass every single day, including the
- 24:41owner. Arthur Blank would have liked to
- 24:44smack that ass right now. I wouldn't.
- 24:46I wouldn't imagine that. Yeah.
- 24:50Think about it. You sit here today and you're,
- 24:56you're, you're. There's no question right now
- 24:58about the Falcons. They beat Buffalo.
- 25:01The Buffalo. Buffalo.
- 25:03Buffalo Bills right now is in a hole, a deep one.
- 25:09And the problem with their hole is they can't stop the run.
- 25:13It's been a big problem for them, really.
- 25:18And I'll say this, ever since Wesley was, you know, decided to
- 25:22walk away, there's not been the same defense.
- 25:28I'm sorry they haven't been. Their offense is efficient
- 25:32because they got one of the elite quarterbacks in the league
- 25:36and he's going to make that efficient no matter what.
- 25:38He did not look good on Monday night against this Atlanta
- 25:41Falcons team. They also played in Atlanta.
- 25:43Atlanta is very hard to beat in Atlanta.
- 25:46Ask Maddie Ice. No matter how bad they are, it's
- 25:49not easy. John Abraham would tell you too.
- 25:52I've spoken to John Abraham off air plenty of times and he told
- 25:56me one of the hardest place places to play is Atlanta.
- 26:00To beat them in Atlanta takes a lot.
- 26:03Am I surprised about about Michael Pennix?
- 26:05Not really. I I'm surprised that he got the
- 26:09the quarterback position as quick as he did.
- 26:11They gave up on Kirk Cousins very quickly.
- 26:14I, I got to give Raheem Morris a little bit more credit on it.
- 26:19I was questioning the whole Kirk Cousins story.
- 26:21Kirk Cousins is a good quarterback.
- 26:25He got paid a lot of money. They overpaid Kirk Cousins.
- 26:28How many times have we've had plenty of ex Atlanta Falcons
- 26:32come on the show and said that they gave Kirk Cousins a lot of
- 26:35money? He better be the starting
- 26:37quarterback for at least three out of that four years.
- 26:40He didn't even last one year. You, you look at Michael Pennix,
- 26:46there was a reason why they, they, they decided to go in the
- 26:50as the 8th pick at a quarterback that a lot of people thought
- 26:54wasn't a first round talent on a lot of people's boards was a
- 26:57late, early second round talent. He's been great.
- 27:04He's been fun to watch. I'm not going to attack him at
- 27:08all. And you fans can dance around
- 27:11whatever I say on this show moving forward.
- 27:15You like to attack me on TikTok, you like to tack me on Facebook
- 27:19and everything that I say, you nitpick every single thing I
- 27:23say. So take this on for size.
- 27:28Michael Pennix is not a top ten quarterback in the league right
- 27:32now. Michael Pennix in the next three
- 27:36years will be a top five quarterback in this league.
- 27:40This trajectory, if he continues playing the way he is, he's a
- 27:44better Jalen Hurts. That's what he is.
- 27:50He's got a better arm than Jalen Hurts.
- 27:52Lefty, a guy that could step into the pocket as good and and
- 27:57accurately as anybody. Any young quarterback that we've
- 28:00seen, Jaden Daniel, Caleb Williams, this guy could do it.
- 28:04He can move inside and out of the pocket.
- 28:06He's much better as a mobile quarterback than people give him
- 28:09credit for. He's an injury prone
- 28:12quarterback. They got to protect him.
- 28:16Besides that, Michael Pennix is for real.
- 28:22As far as the Commanders and the Bears, everybody couldn't wait
- 28:26for this game. Why?
- 28:29Because it's Caleb Williams versus Jaden Daniels and
- 28:33everybody last year were shouted out.
- 28:35Jaden Daniels is this next thing since sliced bread.
- 28:39This guy's an MVP candidate, takes his team all the way to
- 28:41the NFC title game, almost took him to a Super Bowl.
- 28:44Caleb Williams had Matt Eberflus Yes, you heard it from me.
- 28:51Matt Eberflus, The defensive coordinator for who?
- 28:56Speedy. The Indianapolis Colts.
- 28:59No. Oh, now the Dallas Cowboys or
- 29:01the Dallas Cowboy when they hired him.
- 29:06And Caleb Williams over the last three games is showing you why
- 29:11they went with him at #1 I told you guys what I thought about
- 29:16Caleb Williams when he was drafted.
- 29:18He was the closest thing to Aaron Rodgers.
- 29:22I said it and I'm going to say it again.
- 29:24Why do you think Ben Johnson wanted this job?
- 29:28Do you think he wanted the job because of his lack of offensive
- 29:31line help or this defense that has been a shell of itself
- 29:36really for the last five years when we all know the Bears have
- 29:40been known for their defense. I know because Carl Carl
- 29:43preaches defense, defense, defense.
- 29:46They've had no running game since Dave Montgomery.
- 29:51Now all of a sudden Swift gets 172 yards or 100, whatever was
- 29:55was it 175 scrimmage yards with Ben Johnson?
- 30:02Ben Johnson is a great offensive mind.
- 30:05We saw what he's done with the Lions.
- 30:08And I said that if anybody's going to love this signing,
- 30:15bringing in a guy like Ben Johnson, who's going to
- 30:18absolutely rally behind this guy is Caleb Williams.
- 30:25And you're seeing it now. And I'm telling you guys this,
- 30:29Mark this up for size. If this trajectory continues to
- 30:34go the way it is, Caleb Williams in two years will be a top three
- 30:39quarterback in the NFL. You can take that.
- 30:42You can sit that in. You can remix that because he's
- 30:48that good. I've told you guys, yeah.
- 30:51He cries to his mommy, dances and prances around.
- 30:54He has all these contracts and sponsorships.
- 30:56He's making tons of money on and off the the football field.
- 31:00He he opens his mouth to the media sometimes.
- 31:03He pisses off coaches. This guy is super talented,
- 31:07super. And that doesn't take away what
- 31:09Jaden Daniels is. You would ask me right now, who
- 31:14would I want on my team, Jane and Daniels or Caleb Williams?
- 31:17I'll say it again and I'll say I said it when he was drafted.
- 31:20And I'll say it right now, as much as I like Jane and Daniels,
- 31:23there's no frigging way I take Jaden Daniels over Caleb
- 31:26Williams. No frigging way.
- 31:30And I don't care what you guys think of this.
- 31:32And you're telling me, well, wait until Caleb Williams has to
- 31:35take his team to an NFC title game to be even comparable.
- 31:40Really. Does he really need to do that?
- 31:44He needs to show up and play the football games and, and, and do
- 31:47what he does best. He's better mobily.
- 31:51He's more accurate. He might not have a better arm.
- 31:57You can argue Jaden Daniels might have a better arm.
- 32:01That's about it. They're both great quarterbacks.
- 32:05They're both going to be dominant players.
- 32:06They're both going to be successful.
- 32:08And the future of the NFL at the quarterback position last year,
- 32:12where he was abysmal, if you compare his numbers to Jade and
- 32:17Daniel's numbers in the regular season, besides these ridiculous
- 32:21statistical things that the NFL brings to the table now, they're
- 32:25almost identical. And he had Matt Eberfluse as his
- 32:30head coach, not Ben Johnson. Let me ask you guys a question
- 32:37for all you fans out there taking shots at me.
- 32:39And I'm sure you, you, you Washington fans and all you
- 32:42haters are going to take shots at me saying that I take Kayla
- 32:44Williams over Jaden Daniels. Let me ask you guys a really
- 32:48easy, simple question for and, and you guys all can answer this
- 32:53on your own time, not on my time, on your time.
- 32:58If you look at Kayla Williams right now, when you look at
- 33:02Jayden Daniels, who do you think is going to have better numbers
- 33:04at the end of the season? Who do you think is going to
- 33:09have more touchdowns, more touchdowns ran in by the
- 33:14quarterback, and who is going to have a better completion
- 33:18percentage by the end of this year?
- 33:21And my answer is Caleb Williams. And you know why?
- 33:26Because he has Ben Johnson, not Dan Quinn.
- 33:30And I love Dan Quinn. He's a great defensive coin and
- 33:33he's a great defensive coach. He is not Ben Johnson when it
- 33:38comes to the offensive side of the ball.
- 33:40They brought in Tuny. Tuny is this guy is an all pro
- 33:45pro ball player. This is a this guy was a guard
- 33:48for the New England Patriots. He goes to Kansas City, he plays
- 33:51tackle, he's won multiple Super Bowls and they got him for
- 33:56nothing. They bring in another guy,
- 33:57Jackson. He was a successful tackle in
- 34:01this league before he got injured.
- 34:03He comes here or goes to Chicago and you see it.
- 34:07And by the way, Carl, I don't hear you bitching and moaning
- 34:09anymore. I don't hear you bitching and
- 34:11moaning about the, the, the Chicago Bears.
- 34:14This team is for real. And I told you guys Chicago
- 34:19might sneak into the playoffs this year.
- 34:20They might. And everybody says, well, right
- 34:24now, how could you say that? Three and three.
- 34:26They can win six games in a row and be ahead in that division.
- 34:32They can win the division. The Green Bay Packers aren't as
- 34:35good as everybody thought they were.
- 34:37They're not. And ever since Jaden Reed went
- 34:40down, they haven't been the same offense.
- 34:44Think about that one player that everybody forgot about last year
- 34:48who led the Green Bay Packers in catches for the as a wide
- 34:52receiver. He went down with a collarbone
- 34:55injury, broke his collarbone in that Cowboy game in the first
- 34:59game of the season. And they've been a shell of
- 35:01themselves offensively, a shell. And Minnesota, we don't know
- 35:09what their quarterbacks going to be.
- 35:12We don't know what their defense is right now.
- 35:15Just think about it. I can't wait to get Bursick on.
- 35:17I get what he's bitching and moaning about this.
- 35:20I can't wait, Pete. I know what you're going to do,
- 35:23Pete. You're going to attack The Jets
- 35:24like you always do. That's inevitable.
- 35:27You're going to attack The Jets worst organization, worst
- 35:29franchise and professional sports history.
- 35:32Yeah, yeah, yeah, yadda, yadda, yadda.
- 35:34We all know Minnesota has not looked good.
- 35:39So my take here is Chicago has a chance to be what the Commanders
- 35:46were last year, a surprise team that could sneak into the
- 35:49playoffs and make a run. This is a good defense too.
- 35:53This is a really good defense. This defense is played very well
- 35:57this year on stopping the run and making them one-dimensional,
- 36:02making teams 1 dimensional and they got a running game.
- 36:07Why? Cuz Ben Johnson could draw up
- 36:09plays. He don't have Matt Eberflu
- 36:11sitting there with his freaking clip in his hands, wondering
- 36:15where his hand in his pants, wondering who he should throw
- 36:18the ball to. He's got Roma Dunze, who I think
- 36:21is the best wide receiver out of the three, which I told you,
- 36:24Speedy, that was going to happen.
- 36:27I told everybody, let's remix that one, baby.
- 36:32I told everybody when a Doonsay neighbors and Harrison came out
- 36:38of that draft, I said Roma Doonsay is going to be the best
- 36:41wide receiver in that class. Everybody says, well, what
- 36:44happened to him gave him Week 1, what happened to Week 2, what
- 36:47happened to him last season? It wasn't that good.
- 36:51And now you see a competent Ben Johnson take over this team and
- 36:56you look at this offense, they're completely different,
- 36:58speeding. Completely and I think the
- 37:00biggest key too is you look at the court guy that has not
- 37:03developed a quarterback very well and I was wrong on.
- 37:04I thought he looked pretty good in Seattle for a couple years
- 37:07and then all of a sudden did not know how to play call at all.
- 37:10I think he went to the Raiders for a year and then he went to
- 37:12Chicago and he was terrible last year with Shane Walter.
- 37:14And so it was an offensive coordinator was terrible with
- 37:16Caleb Williams as well. And I think between that and the
- 37:19head coaching with ever Flu, we talked about it last year when
- 37:21obviously the Commanders beat the Bears on the Hail Mary.
- 37:24And since then they went on a tailspin.
- 37:26I don't think they had the most losses blown in the fourth
- 37:28quarter, but they were definitely up there.
- 37:29I think Jacksonville had the most, but they weren't far
- 37:31behind and that kind of thing. Yeah, it carried over into the
- 37:34beginning of this season when they obviously blew the lead
- 37:36against the Vikings on Monday night.
- 37:37But since then they have won these tight games.
- 37:40Now they're finishing games a lot better than that.
- 37:42This is a talented roster. I know people have bashed Ryan
- 37:45Poles with some of the things that he's done.
- 37:47I think he's really developed a good team made, like you said,
- 37:50are all the offensive line moves in the offseason.
- 37:52Those two guards and then Drew Dahlman, a good center, they
- 37:54signed from the Falcons and you're seeing the difference.
- 37:56Look at listen to these numbers for Caleb Williams since the
- 37:59first month of the year last year has 27 touchdowns and just
- 38:024 interceptions and not many bad games.
- 38:05Like that's the quarterback he's turning into now and he's making
- 38:08everyone else better. These are still guys that are
- 38:09working into their offense. Who does he remind you of?
- 38:12Speedy. Who did you remind you of?
- 38:13Oh. You're going to make the Aaron
- 38:14Rodgers care. That's right.
- 38:16And Aaron Rodgers, who's a world renowned quarterback that
- 38:20everybody said was the most accurate quarterback in NFL
- 38:23history, never throws interceptions.
- 38:26How many interceptions has Caleb Williams throne in the last, I
- 38:30don't know, 12 games? About four.
- 38:33Four. Yes, it.
- 38:34Was four, I think it was the stat was from.
- 38:36Probably the least amount out of any quarterback in the NFL,
- 38:39right? Yeah, I think it was from Week 6
- 38:41from last year on to now is the time frame of that.
- 38:44It just shows her accuracy. It is now.
- 38:46Hopefully he doesn't have the off field brain of Aaron
- 38:48Rodgers. He wanted to go buy a team, no.
- 38:50He does. That's unfortunate.
- 38:52I know he wanted to go buy a team.
- 38:54He wanted to go buy the Bears when he when he illegal for NFL
- 38:58players besides Tom Brady apparently to.
- 38:59Do Caleb is a unique individual. He has the big mouth.
- 39:03He knows how talented he is and he knows that he can go out
- 39:06there and open his mouth and not get in trouble because he's the
- 39:09starting quarterback of the Chicago Bears and he's very
- 39:12talented. I've been saying this over and
- 39:14over and over again. This guy is going to be special.
- 39:18And I'm I'm I'm not going to take it back and we should get
- 39:21what's his name again back. He sat here and said he never
- 39:24said it. Caleb.
- 39:25Oh, Carl, he will never come on the show.
- 39:27He'll never. He's not coming.
- 39:30Back he'll never come. Five years, I was watching his
- 39:34show. He does a show, he does a
- 39:35podcast. And I was listening to a show,
- 39:37which nobody watches, by the way.
- 39:39And I'm, I'm, I'm not going to mention his last name because I
- 39:41don't want to, I don't want him to be pissed off.
- 39:43But nobody watches his podcast. And I was watching his take on
- 39:48Caleb Williams. What a joke, sitting there and
- 39:51trying to take credit by, you know, saying that Caleb Williams
- 39:54was everything that he thought he was going to be.
- 39:56OK, that's such a lie. It's such a bogus take.
- 40:01And this guy is working for 2:40.
- 40:03What is it? I don't even know.
- 40:04What is it, 245? What is that?
- 40:06What is that? 24/7. 24/7 CBS support 24/7 CBS
- 40:10and he's he's the best when it comes to knowledge of finding
- 40:13talent and telling you what talent is supposed to be.
- 40:16Yeah. OK, sell that one.
- 40:18Yeah. Going to the.
- 40:19Falcon sell that one. Going to the.
- 40:20Falcon, mail it to me. I'll mail it.
- 40:22I'll send it. I'll kick it right back at you.
- 40:26You know what I'm talking about. You know what I'm talking about.
- 40:29Yes, going to the Atlantic game, it was interesting because I
- 40:31always thought this, the defense was very talented, but for a
- 40:34while they were missing edge rushers.
- 40:35It wasn't even just last year. It was you talk about like teams
- 40:37that don't know how to develop certain positions.
- 40:39The Atlanta Falcons are one of those teams that never know how
- 40:41to develop edge rushers. They had a couple flashy years
- 40:44of Victoria Beasley, but even they didn't have a second guy
- 40:45alongside him. So the Patriots were able to
- 40:47take it away in the Super Bowl and they had no pass rush
- 40:50whatsoever and they had trouble developing edge rushers.
- 40:52We talked about the Saints developing corners, Patriots
- 40:55developing receivers, stuff like that.
- 40:57Atlanta did not have that. Now they have two guys and
- 40:59you're seeing the big difference on this defense that already had
- 41:01a good interior, that already had good linebackers, and they
- 41:04are making a big mark #1 pass defense, like we said, good run
- 41:07defense. And the offense was filled.
- 41:09It was filled with freak athletes for a while.
- 41:11Terry Fontenot unconventionally took a chance on these freak
- 41:13athletes when nobody said, oh, don't draft a running back at #8
- 41:16don't draft the tight end in #8 Greta.
- 41:18Kyle Pitts hasn't lived up to that yet but he's still fine.
- 41:21Drake London #8 pick freak athlete, great offensive line,
- 41:24freak athletes and they just needed a couple things to work.
- 41:27The coaching for them. Obviously I question too, just
- 41:29like you did with Raheem Morris and they Arthur Smith in the
- 41:32past obviously so forgot it. And then the offensive play call
- 41:35and they have a Rams like system on a team that's more built like
- 41:39a tight end oriented team, physical oriented team and
- 41:41they're making it work, fusing nicely and very efficient on
- 41:44offense as well. Penix isn't flashy yet but he's
- 41:46still going to be good down the road.
- 41:47I agree with your top ten quarterback down the road for
- 41:49sure. So top three really good teams
- 41:53that you. Said Caleb.
- 41:54Top three? Did you say Panic's top 10?
- 41:56Panic's top ten? Yes.
- 41:57Yes. So look, you got 12 teams right
- 42:02now, Errol, that are 500 or better in the NFC.
- 42:06Out of 16, only 7 make the playoffs.
- 42:10So these three teams, these three teams that we're talking
- 42:14about right now, I mean, the Bills are in the AFC.
- 42:16It's only 8 teams out of the 16 that are 500 or better.
- 42:20The worst of those teams being the Chiefs at 3:00 and 3:00.
- 42:23But in the NFC, the lot of competition, you only gave 1.
- 42:27And when you were talking at the top of the segment, you only
- 42:29gave one playoff team to the NFC West.
- 42:32They currently have 3-4 and two teams in the NFC West.
- 42:36Let me give you a list of teams that are 500 or better.
- 42:39The Rams, Seattle, the Eagles, they're all four and two.
- 42:42The Packers are three, one and one.
- 42:46You have the Lions another two loss team, 49ers 2 loss team,
- 42:49Vikings two loss team, Falcons 2 loss team, Washington's 500.
- 42:54The Bears are a two loss team and the Panthers are 500.
- 42:59So that's five teams that that are not going to make the
- 43:02playoffs out of that list of teams that are over 500 at I
- 43:06guess was it's a third of the way through the season, right?
- 43:08Now and right now, I trust the Falcons and the Commanders both
- 43:10more than the 49ers, even though the 49ers have a better record.
- 43:1349ers are injury. I know that.
- 43:16I mean, obviously a few of these teams are going to fall off.
- 43:18I think it's the depth piece. So you look at the Falcons,
- 43:20right? Pennix is saying we're legit.
- 43:22Well, they already are in the season without their starting
- 43:25right tackle, Caleb McGarry. They gave him extension and he
- 43:28got hurt the next day in camp and he's out for the season.
- 43:31So they're able to do what they're doing on the ground.
- 43:34With Bijan Robinson. I mean, I'm going to talk about
- 43:37in the play of the week, but he had an 81 yard touchdown where
- 43:40he was untouched until 30 yards. By the way, I want to give a
- 43:43shout out to my sister. She called me up.
- 43:45I told her what to bet on, what parlay to bet on, and she went
- 43:48with Bijan Robinson, Cook, Doonze and somebody else to
- 43:54score a touchdown. I told her to go with that and
- 43:56she won 800 bucks, 800 bucks. She put $20 down.
- 44:00She won 800 bucks. She called me up and she called
- 44:03me up and she was like so ecstatic.
- 44:05She says I I owe some money to a bill and she's like, I had to
- 44:08make a bet. She's like you saved my life.
- 44:12You should have just told. Her to save my life.
- 44:15Everyone I started against you in our fantasy league.
- 44:17She would have made even more money.
- 44:19Or just ever or just anyone in the Broncos Jets game for
- 44:22fantasy because I started a bunch of them so.
- 44:24Oh, I'm loving. You doubled me up in fantasy, my
- 44:27team no showed and you had like a monster week.
- 44:29I think he got, he had like 170 something to like 80 something
- 44:32and I just got murdered. First loss of the year,
- 44:35whatever, we'll come back. I got to give him a locker room
- 44:37talk, you know, like, you know, like 2.
- 44:39We'll just blame everybody else. It's not me.
- 44:43It's not me. You need to you need to be your
- 44:47for come for the book of Daniel Jones at the rile up the North
- 44:50Indiana Leisure. Yeah, so before we move on from
- 44:54this and get into some baseball, we got to talk about the Bills.
- 44:57They just lost two games in a row they got.
- 44:58Not worried about that week, not worried about them.
- 45:00Well, I, I mean, I understand, you know what, you're not
- 45:03worried about them, but they're talking about coaching changes
- 45:05up there on the defensive side of the ball that they're not
- 45:07getting any kind of pass rush. They're not stopping the run
- 45:11guys are down. I know, you know, like.
- 45:13They did that. They did that a couple of years
- 45:15ago in the middle of the season with their offensive
- 45:17coordinator. They brought in Brady and it
- 45:18changed everything for them. And maybe that's what they need
- 45:21to do. And they also have some injuries
- 45:23right now on the front 7 when they get some of they just got
- 45:27who did they just get back? Who's that big?
- 45:30Milano you talking about? No, not Milano.
- 45:32They just got What's a queue, who's the big, the big defensive
- 45:37player and Oliver and Oliver and Oliver came back after the first
- 45:41two games. He was out for two games.
- 45:43He came back and he looked pretty good and he's, he's a big
- 45:47part of their run defense. So I, I, I, I know what a lot of
- 45:51Bill fans are going to say. Well, maybe we need to shake
- 45:54things up. I'm not worried about them
- 45:57because they were in such a bad division besides maybe New
- 46:01England challenging them, which I don't even think New England
- 46:04will because New England hasn't really played that many good
- 46:08teams yet. They've played lousy teams.
- 46:11When New England gets to their harder part of their schedule,
- 46:14then we'll see if New England's for real.
- 46:16Drake May. Everybody keeps saying, as we
- 46:18all know, Mikey sees take. He's going to be a top three
- 46:21quarterback in in the next three years, which I think is
- 46:24ridiculous. Maybe top 10, not top 3.
- 46:28I mean, and there was somebody that reached out.
- 46:30It was talking to me at the gym the other day.
- 46:32He was dumping that Drake, that Drake, that Drake, me, He's
- 46:35he's, he's a real deal. He's a real.
- 46:37I said stop, stop. Who did he beat?
- 46:40What defense has he? Beat.
- 46:41They also lost to the Raiders. I mean, he looks really good.
- 46:44He's he's throwing the deep ball accurately and that's all that
- 46:47people see sometimes. There's the rest of the game
- 46:49going on as well. But he is really crushing some
- 46:52deep balls to guys that are, you know, not exactly household
- 46:55names. You got Keshawn Booty, you got
- 46:57Demario Pop Douglas, who we all learned this offseason and wants
- 47:00to be called Pop and he's his stats are eye popping with Drake
- 47:05May. He's been doing really well.
- 47:07Just because just because they're not number ones does not
- 47:10mean if you have good number twos and threes.
- 47:13They can't if they have the right.
- 47:14Oh yeah, play core. But like, who even heard of
- 47:17these guys, right? Like, you know, like that.
- 47:19But that's like, that's impressive.
- 47:21That's indicative of a good quarterback.
- 47:23And I don't think the coaching over there is bad.
- 47:24I mean, we know Mcdermott's one of the longest tenured coaches
- 47:27for a reason. Even though he's a defensive
- 47:28guy, they've always righted the ship offensively.
- 47:32I think they'll be fine with the MVP.
- 47:33They'll figure it out. It's just can they do something?
- 47:37We're coming up on that trade deadline.
- 47:39You know, there's, I mean we, I mean the Giants opened.
- 47:41Up. They might need some secondary
- 47:43help because they lost. There's going to be two.
- 47:45They lost. I mean, DeMar Hamlin's on the
- 47:47IR. There's a bunch of guys that are
- 47:48down. Terrell Bernard got hurt in this
- 47:51last game. We'll see if you know how
- 47:53injured he is. They say he's day-to-day right
- 47:54now, but it's early in the week. You know, there's, they are real
- 47:58thin. You know, Milano's still out,
- 48:00you know, like they're still thin on that.
- 48:03Defense and Milano will be back. Milano will be back and when he
- 48:06comes back, he's it's going to completely clear up their their
- 48:09run stopping because he's one of the best linebackers in the
- 48:12league to stop the run. So once Milano comes back, the
- 48:16defense can, the Bills are going to be one of those teams that
- 48:20they might not look good in the first half, but in the
- 48:21second-half they're going to win like 5 out of six games or, you
- 48:26know, seven out of their next, you know, 9 games or whatever.
- 48:29How many games? The Bills usually have one weird
- 48:31loss and granted Atlanta's looked good so maybe this isn't
- 48:33a weird loss but I guess expectations wise it'll be fine.
- 48:35They always have one game. That's like, what are you doing?
- 48:38They're going to be. And like, if the AFC is a lot
- 48:40less competitive this year than the NFC, there's only eight
- 48:42teams, like I said, the Chiefs being the A-Team that are 500 or
- 48:46better right now at this point of the season that they got the
- 48:47Patriots that are tied with them at 4:00 and 2:00 right now in
- 48:50the division. I think a lot of people, myself
- 48:52and greed, I'm sure you know, Drake May, you know, it's a
- 48:54little overblown. I wouldn't.
- 48:56I don't think they're going to be keep pace with the bills.
- 48:58I haven't heard from Mike yet, but if they take over first
- 49:01place, you know I'm going to be listening to Mike's crap.
- 49:03I. All be warriors he wants.
- 49:06We will hear from him, but let's be real, the Bills are going to
- 49:09be fine, I think, even if. It's still not a top three
- 49:11quarterback just so you. What Josh Allen?
- 49:15Drake May. He's still not a top three
- 49:17quarterback. He's not.
- 49:18Yeah, look, he's not a top three quarterback, but because, like,
- 49:21they're still, you know, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Patrick
- 49:24Mahomes. Lamar Jackson's out right now
- 49:27and Joe Burrows out. When these guys come back,
- 49:29they're just going to absolutely be on fire and, and Joe Burrow
- 49:32should be back in Week 10. That's what I'm hearing.
- 49:35They're they're they're. Shooting if they're if they're
- 49:37in it, you know, like if they're not in it could like we said,
- 49:39you know, like it, it could be easier to get in on the AFC.
- 49:42There's a good chance that they may still hover around it with
- 49:45Joe Flacco if they could win any games.
- 49:46But Joe Flacco hasn't won really any games in a couple of years.
- 49:50He's been a losing quarterback for a.
- 49:51Couple of years. The Seattle Mariners head into
- 49:53Game 3 action tonight at home in T-Mobile Park with a 2 nothing
- 49:59series lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in the LCALCS.
- 50:04The Mariners won game one by a score of three to 1, led by two
- 50:08hits, including a home run from Cal Raleigh.
- 50:12The Mariners then also won Game 2 on the road in a blowout 2:50
- 50:17powered by both Julio Rodriguez and Jorge Polanco hitting three
- 50:22run home runs and Josh Naylor hitting A2 run shot.
- 50:28After dominating against the Yankees, both Dalton VAR Show
- 50:32and Vladimir Guerrero Junior have been held hitless in the
- 50:35series so far. The Blue Jays will hope to get a
- 50:39better hitting better hitting behind tonight's starter Shane
- 50:43Bieber as they face off against George Kirby for the Mariners in
- 50:50a must win game. In Game 3 with Toronto on the
- 50:54road, the Dodgers have a 2 nothing lead over the Brewers in
- 50:58a NLC. NLCS led by two dominant
- 51:03starting pitching performances. In game one, it was Blake Snell
- 51:07who dominated with eight scoreless innings allowing one
- 51:11hit, zero walks and 10 strikeouts in A21 win in game #2
- 51:16it was Yamamoto throwing a complete game allowing just one
- 51:20run on a home run by Jackson Cheerio allowing just three hits
- 51:25and one walk with while striking out seven.
- 51:29In the current ALCS and MLCS format since 1969, teams that
- 51:34have gone up to nothing in the series have won the series 84%
- 51:39of the time. I don't think the Blue Jays
- 51:45stand a chance. I, I don't, I know everybody's
- 51:48going to sit here and tell me, well, look what they did to the
- 51:50Yankees. The Yankees don't have enough
- 51:53depth in the lineup. I've said this many, many times,
- 51:57the Mariners do. The Mariners added Naylor in the
- 52:02offseason. They added a third baseman at
- 52:05the trade deadline that can hit for Pop, even though he hasn't
- 52:08really hit that much in the playoffs.
- 52:11Julio Rodriguez is one of the best power hitters and young
- 52:14power hitters in baseball. And they have Cal Rally, who's
- 52:18up for MVP, who's one of the best defensive players at his
- 52:21position since I mean, you can argue Rodriguez, this is a good
- 52:28team. This is a team that is playing
- 52:32on all cylinders, not playing on one or two.
- 52:35They're playing on all six cylinders and they're putting
- 52:41the ball in play. They're not just hitting for
- 52:43power, they're hitting for average.
- 52:46They can pitch. They got a great rotation,
- 52:50they're bullpen and was one of the top five in the league this
- 52:53year. And they're consistent every
- 52:59game. And when you're consistent like
- 53:02this and and they're the Mariners manager should be up
- 53:05for manager of the year. Is that a sensational year,
- 53:07especially in the second-half of the season?
- 53:09The turn around that the Mariners had in the second-half
- 53:12was sensational, and they always do.
- 53:16This team might be the only team that can challenge the Dodgers
- 53:19right now. We thought it was the Phillies
- 53:21and the Dodgers. The Phillies, we saw what what
- 53:25the Dodgers, man, the Dodgers manhandle the Phillies, even
- 53:29though it went to what, five games, four games, four games?
- 53:32And that absolute debacle of, you know, an error by the
- 53:37pitcher by Philadelphia that ended the series.
- 53:43The Dodgers are the best team in the playoffs.
- 53:46The Dodgers have been the best team in the league since the
- 53:48beginning of the season. They've been fighting injury
- 53:51after injury. Ohtani didn't pitch until the
- 53:55second-half of the season. Now you have Sasaki in the
- 53:59bullpen who is untouchable. You can't even hit the guy.
- 54:03Honestly, they should stick Sasaki in the bullpen and leave
- 54:05him there. He should be the closer.
- 54:08Then they'll be almost impossible to beat.
- 54:14The Dodgers are the best team in baseball.
- 54:16It's not even close. Their roster from top to bottom,
- 54:20defensively, offensively, their bullpen.
- 54:23Look at the bullpen arms they brought in.
- 54:25They brought in three closers from three different teams that
- 54:28could have been closers on three different teams this year, and
- 54:33they were hurt. Now they're healthy.
- 54:37How are they going to be beaten? And the Brewers have been the
- 54:41best team in a league all season long.
- 54:43They're one of the best young teams in baseball right now.
- 54:46Well deserved. This is the first NLCS they've
- 54:48been in and how long? 2018 But.
- 54:51They also lost the Dodgers. This is a team in the Brewers
- 54:59that have a great future, just not now.
- 55:03This Dodger team is destined to go on a run like the Yankees did
- 55:08in the 90s where they could win two or three championships or
- 55:11win three out of the next 5 championships like the San
- 55:14Francisco Giants. They're that good.
- 55:19It's not fair. A lot of people are going to
- 55:21complain and as Jabba says, every team can do it.
- 55:24Nick Goody says it too. Every team can do it.
- 55:27You want to defer money, you can defer money.
- 55:29Nobody said that you can. But the Dodgers figured it out.
- 55:34Well, the Dodgers knew about it and and a lot of teams knew
- 55:37about it for years. Just like Madden decided to use
- 55:41the shift. It's been around since the 60s
- 55:43and the 50s brought it into the league again and and absolutely
- 55:46dominated with the Tampa Bay Rays for the years that he was
- 55:49there as the manager and people complaining and bitching.
- 55:53And what did baseball do? They banished it because nobody
- 55:56liked it, including yours truly. I.
- 55:59Didn't I? Was going to say you were like
- 56:00one of the biggest. Advocates.
- 56:01I like it, you know, But right now, if there's any team that
- 56:07could beat the Dodgers, it's the Mariners.
- 56:10You don't want to see the Blue Jays play the Dodgers.
- 56:13That goes that's going to go 5, five games, four games, the bad
- 56:17five games, the most four games if if the Dodgers completely
- 56:21dominate. Yamamoto is been sensational
- 56:25over the last past year. When he came into the league, he
- 56:28was a deer in the headlights. He was up and down the
- 56:31second-half of the season. When he came into the league, he
- 56:33was very good. The first half he was horrible.
- 56:36I remember he's figured it out. The Dodgers paid him a lot of
- 56:42money and now you have next year you have Otani Sasaki and
- 56:49Yamamoto, Blake Snell and Glass now as five guys in your
- 56:54rotation. And that's not counting the some
- 56:58of the youngsters that they have that they called up in their
- 57:00farm system. We have one of them that just
- 57:02had Tommy John surgery too. That a pretty damn good too.
- 57:06It's it's just a bag of riches. Am I surprised?
- 57:10Not at all. Am I upset?
- 57:13Absolutely. Am I?
- 57:16Am I going to predict that they're going to win a
- 57:18championship next year if nobody or no team makes a huge run out
- 57:22a bunch of players? I would say yes.
- 57:26I, I mean, they're and I want to hear all of the Mets played them
- 57:29in the first round. They would have beaten them.
- 57:30Stop it guys. Stop it.
- 57:33Stop it, That's for lucky to just even squeak.
- 57:35In Why? Because the Mets were five and
- 57:37one against him this year. Yeah, and the Brewers were six
- 57:39and oh. Six and oh against them.
- 57:41The Brewers were the best team in the league all season long.
- 57:44They dominated teams all season long.
- 57:47They had one bad skid where they out of like 11 games they they
- 57:51lost like 8 or 7 of them. Yeah, like early August, I
- 57:54think. Then the Padre, I think tied
- 57:56them in the division at one point and there was a chance
- 57:58that they pulled ahead for a little bit.
- 57:59Then they went cold and obviously the Dodgers were fine
- 58:01after that. It's just honestly, you want, if
- 58:05you're a baseball thing, you want to see the Mariners, you
- 58:07want to see the Dodgers, you want to see Cal rally versus
- 58:10Shay Ohtani, 2 guys that are up for MVPS and respectable
- 58:15conferences, respectable, you know, standings from the
- 58:18National, National League and American League.
- 58:21Yeah, and you also look at that team that's very complete too,
- 58:23with the Mariners, like you said, they can do some of the
- 58:25things pitching wise that the Dodgers can do when it comes to
- 58:29their rotation once it gets healthy, too.
- 58:31George Kirby you were talking about is like one of the best
- 58:33pitchers we've seen recently in elimination games and obviously
- 58:36pitched very well against the Tigers out didn't out duel
- 58:39school, but pitched just as well and kept them in that game.
- 58:42And obviously they won an extra innings.
- 58:43They're what their best pitcher from the regular season was hurt
- 58:45all year or hurt at the end of the year And Brian Woo, he
- 58:47hasn't even pitched yet. And now with the Mariners having
- 58:49a 2O lead in this series, they can even be more cautious with
- 58:52him and don't have to bring him in anywhere.
- 58:53You have Logan Gilbert, you have, like you said, a good
- 58:56bullpen, top five in the second-half of the season, top
- 58:58ten in baseball bullpen and finally have the line of depth
- 59:01to compensate for that too. And also two guys that played
- 59:04for Arizona that know the Dodgers with Suarez and with
- 59:06Naylor, guys that have experience against them, get the
- 59:09scouting reports on them. The problem with the Brewers in
- 59:11this series is they just haven't been able to get to the Dodgers
- 59:13weakest heart, which has been their bullpen throughout the
- 59:16year. They've been rocky.
- 59:17Like you said, the closers they brought in have been better but
- 59:19not great. And overall this season a lot of
- 59:21them had four plus Eras. A lot of them had injury issues.
- 59:24Will they be able to recover that same way?
- 59:26As another question, Sasaki, they decide to be creative with
- 59:28their transformer into a closer. It's been working with them so
- 59:30far. And now you look at a team like
- 59:33the Dodgers having full power, that's going to be hard to stop.
- 59:36Seattle, though, is the only thing that can make sense
- 59:38because they have the power. They have the ability to get on
- 59:41base the way they do. And you talk about Cal rally
- 59:42like he had two home runs, but he's also been getting on base
- 59:46too. Like he in the playoffs in the
- 59:48first series, I think he was hitting close to 500.
- 59:50He didn't know he only had the one home run.
- 59:52And Julio Rodriguez has been taking off in the second-half of
- 59:55the season. He did this two years ago was
- 59:57probably, if it wasn't for Otani that year, probably a runner up
- 1:00:00for MVP that year. And it's just crazy how good
- 1:00:03they are. You're right.
- 1:00:03The Blue Jays are kind of fluky and it's kind of catching up to
- 1:00:05them and their pitching is all old outside of Gossman, and
- 1:00:08they're really. You know what's interesting
- 1:00:10about the Mariners? I remember the Mariners teams in
- 1:00:13the the 2000's, the early 2000s, even in the 90s.
- 1:00:16And I remember the 95 Seattle Mariners when Jay Buhner and Ken
- 1:00:22Griffey Junior and Edgar Martinez and Randy Johnson
- 1:00:26remember those teams where they were so fun to watch and they
- 1:00:29could never beat the Yankees. They could never get over the
- 1:00:32hump. They beat the Yankees one time
- 1:00:34in those runs and I think that was 95 when they beat the
- 1:00:37Yankees. Yeah, and then they lost to
- 1:00:38Cleveland, I think. They could never get over the
- 1:00:40hump. This team has been around
- 1:00:42forever and they could never win a World Series.
- 1:00:45And in 2001, remember when they won, I think it was 116 games or
- 1:00:49something like that. Regular season record.
- 1:00:50And they they lost. And what was it in the the LCS
- 1:00:57against the Yankees? Against the Yankees and before
- 1:00:59the Yankees lost it against the Diamondbacks.
- 1:01:01Diamondbacks. I remember that.
- 1:01:02Yep. Randy Johnson and Curt
- 1:01:04Schilling, who, by the way, Jabba can't stand.
- 1:01:06We know. Yes.
- 1:01:07He didn't want me to mention him in that whole, you know,
- 1:01:10argument of King of the Hill. And Kurt Silligan stole over his
- 1:01:13second most hated Red Sox. Here's the facts guys.
- 1:01:16If the Mariners have a chance to win over the last 30 years, this
- 1:01:20is the year. And the reason why is nobody
- 1:01:23expected them to be here. Nobody in the 90s, they had one
- 1:01:28of the loudest managers in in all of baseball.
- 1:01:31Lou Pinella was a vicious guy that kicked dirt at the umpires
- 1:01:36throwing bases. I mean, he was the Tommy Lasorda
- 1:01:40of the 90s. Remember that Tommy Lasorda was
- 1:01:43more of the 80s guy who was known in the 80s.
- 1:01:46He was with the Dodgers in the 90s, but he wasn't, you know,
- 1:01:50his best years as a manager was in the 80s.
- 1:01:53When you, when you look at Lou Pinella, Lou Pinella had that
- 1:01:56gracefulness, that crazy personality and he was known as
- 1:01:59a Yankee. If you remember, Lou Pinella
- 1:02:01played on those Yankee teams. He won a World Series with the
- 1:02:04Yankees. Reggie Jackson time Reggie
- 1:02:09Jackson said Lou Pinella was one of the best teammates he's ever
- 1:02:12played with, by the way. But I, I will say this Cal
- 1:02:18Raleigh, Raleigh deserves a little bit more credit than a
- 1:02:22lot of people give him. Aaron Judge has had a
- 1:02:24sensational year. He has been sensational.
- 1:02:26I don't know if Raleigh wins it because of the how great of, I
- 1:02:32mean, this is an all time great year for Aaron Judge.
- 1:02:35I mean, if you compare Aaron Judge's year statistical with
- 1:02:39Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, I mean, you can compare his
- 1:02:43numbers to those guys. They're they're some of the best
- 1:02:47seasons they've had are comparable to Aaron Judge.
- 1:02:52Aaron Judge hit over 50 home runs, He hit over 330I mean is
- 1:02:57on base percentage was the best in the league.
- 1:02:59He was in one and two of the statistics and all the big
- 1:03:02statistics except maybe 1. Raleigh is a switch hitting
- 1:03:07catcher. He's defensively sound.
- 1:03:10He's the best catcher in baseball, All that other stuff.
- 1:03:12The only reason he might lose is just because he's playing in the
- 1:03:18same conference in in the same American League.
- 1:03:21Is the best player in the world in Aaron Judge?
- 1:03:23We've seen this the last five years really too.
- 1:03:25We've seen like 5 of like the greatest American League MVP
- 1:03:28season between the one judge had in 2022, Ohtani having it in 21.
- 1:03:33And I, I know you were advocating for Vlad to win it
- 1:03:35that year too. He had an unbelievable year.
- 1:03:37And what was lost in that year, too, was Salvador Perez had like
- 1:03:4048 home runs in that year as well.
- 1:03:42Home Runs is is to me, as much as you love it and you love to
- 1:03:46watch it, it's not as big as when you look at a batting
- 1:03:50average, 330. You're known as a power hitter
- 1:03:53and you're on base percentage is 1 of the great.
- 1:03:57It's Barry Bonds. Like, OK, Barry Bonds didn't
- 1:04:01have a better on base percentage that Aaron Judge did this year.
- 1:04:05Think about that. And nobody, nobody could walk
- 1:04:09around or pitch around him because he's so long.
- 1:04:12Barry Bonds is not as long as Aaron Judge.
- 1:04:14Barry Bonds at best is 6162, this man 6-8.
- 1:04:19So you couldn't pitch around this guy.
- 1:04:21He has no weaknesses at up at the plate.
- 1:04:25Some people say you pitch high against him, you're better off
- 1:04:28trying to pitch high and inside to him.
- 1:04:30They tried to do that against him and he smacked it, you know,
- 1:04:33375 feet. At the pole, yeah, the Blue Jays
- 1:04:38home run that he had and then some of the home runs he was
- 1:04:39having at the end of the year where the team is trying to do
- 1:04:42that kind of thing to him. It used to be you.
- 1:04:44You got him with the slider that was sweeping away.
- 1:04:46You saw Cleveland do that a lot. You saw the Astros do that a
- 1:04:49lot. And he's even adjusted to that
- 1:04:50now, too. And what makes it especially our
- 1:04:52is because he's 6 foot eight, he has a much bigger strike zone
- 1:04:54than everyone else too. It's it's crazy, it's not fair,
- 1:04:58but Rally needs a little bit more credit and credit is due.
- 1:05:02He's going to get a lot of first place votes for MVPI.
- 1:05:06Just I don't know if they're going to give it to him because
- 1:05:09the great season Aaron Judge had and the playoffs that he had, I
- 1:05:13mean, he hit 500 in the playoffs.
- 1:05:18I mean, it's ridiculous. Everybody said he's not a
- 1:05:20playoff player. Well, I think they're going to
- 1:05:22zipper their lips on that one, yeah.
- 1:05:24I want to give before we move on.
- 1:05:25I want to give up Rally some credit for for something this
- 1:05:28series that I think it makes a big difference when it comes to
- 1:05:30what you saw from the Blue Jays versus what you saw with the
- 1:05:32Blue Jays against the Yankees too, Because the Blue Jays were
- 1:05:34a team that did not strike out a lot in the offseason.
- 1:05:36And obviously they were able to make that kind of thing work
- 1:05:39against the Yankees. But Seattle, the way the
- 1:05:41pitchers have either pitch sequence or Cal rally has called
- 1:05:44the game to make it where they either ground out or they're
- 1:05:46getting all these pop ups right away early in the in the inning
- 1:05:49and not forcing them to try to pitch the strikeout.
- 1:05:51These are guys that are pitched to the strikeout too, Gilbert,
- 1:05:53Castillo, etcetera. They can all strike guys out,
- 1:05:55but they're not doing that kind of thing and they're making it
- 1:05:58easier where they're not having all these crazy jams either.
- 1:06:00The one run the Blue Jays got in game one was a lead off home run
- 1:06:03and that was it. That's Cal Rally and the
- 1:06:06analytics department. Whoever is deserves a lot of
- 1:06:07credit for that kind. Of a who's calling the pitches?
- 1:06:09Yeah, it's rally. It's rally.
- 1:06:10Yeah, He's calling the pitches. He's got the game plan.
- 1:06:13He's let you know. He's speaking back and forth
- 1:06:15with the manager. He's he's calling the field and
- 1:06:18making sure he's making the shifts.
- 1:06:20That it's a hard position to play catcher.
- 1:06:22No, kid. And that's so funny when I tell
- 1:06:25Goody all the time, when I watched these, I went to see a
- 1:06:27son play. None of the young kids want to
- 1:06:29be a catcher. Of course.
- 1:06:30None of them want to be a catcher.
- 1:06:31Nobody wants to be hit with the ball.
- 1:06:33Nobody wants to stand behind the plate.
- 1:06:34It's boring. But I, I tell everybody, I told
- 1:06:37his son, I said I told Braxton, I said, listen, if you could
- 1:06:40grow up and be a catcher and a successful catcher, you'll,
- 1:06:44you'll, you'll be a star in the major leagues.
- 1:06:46And he says, I don't want to be a catcher.
- 1:06:47It's boring. I said go ask your father if if
- 1:06:51it's a boring position to play, it's the best position to play
- 1:06:54because you get you get to do so much stuff behind the plate,
- 1:06:58call the pitches, answer the manager, shift the players in
- 1:07:02the field. Not when you're a kid, though.
- 1:07:03When you're a kid, it's the. Position, but when you move up
- 1:07:05to high school, you will. No, you're absolutely right.
- 1:07:07Like that's the thing. Like it's the game.
- 1:07:09It's the position where there's the most action, right?
- 1:07:11You're doing something every play, you're involved with
- 1:07:14what's happening every single play.
- 1:07:16Even if you're not, you're not throwing the ball like you're
- 1:07:18telling him where this should go.
- 1:07:19This is you're part of he's. The quarterback, he's the
- 1:07:22quarterback on the field. That's what he is.
- 1:07:25You don't have a good catcher, you don't have a good team,
- 1:07:27period. And that's the problem with the
- 1:07:28Yankees, because they're still trying to figure out is Austin
- 1:07:31Wells the guy the Yankees for years had great catchers.
- 1:07:34Go back, all the great Yankee teams always had great catchers.
- 1:07:38And now you have Austin Wells. Is he a great catcher or is he
- 1:07:41mediocre? If he's a mediocre catcher,
- 1:07:43you're not going to win. And.
- 1:07:44He's more known as an offensive catcher, and even that was kind
- 1:07:46of streaky. That's why they wanted to put
- 1:07:48him at first base, right? Well, they got him and Ben Rice
- 1:07:51and they're both left-handed catchers slash first baseman,
- 1:07:54right? You know, that's not exactly the
- 1:07:56combination you want. I think the Yankees may need to
- 1:07:58make a move to figure out that if they're not going to find one
- 1:08:01guy to do it, they're going to have to have one lefty and one
- 1:08:04righty. They can't just, it doesn't make
- 1:08:06sense. But then again, you know, the
- 1:08:07Yankees do things that don't make sense with roster
- 1:08:09construction. That's why they're not playing
- 1:08:11anymore. Raleigh was the Platinum Glove
- 1:08:13last year in the AL. You know, he he's an outstanding
- 1:08:17defensive catcher. He's not up for it this year,
- 1:08:18Not up for a Gold Glove. This year was a little bit worse
- 1:08:21defensively, but I think everyone takes that trade off
- 1:08:24when you're going to hit sixty home runs.
- 1:08:26He he had that throw earlier in the playoffs that he gunned down
- 1:08:29the guy at first base. It was like the perfect throw.
- 1:08:32They called him safe because it had to be perfect to beat him
- 1:08:35and it was upon replay, which is just pretty crazy how good he
- 1:08:38is. The thing that's even crazier
- 1:08:40though, is how good the Dodgers are.
- 1:08:42I mean, the Dodgers are unstoppable.
- 1:08:44You realize they've in the eight games they've played in the
- 1:08:47postseason 1.54 ERA, it's. Not fair.
- 1:08:52The whole thing is not fair. Blake.
- 1:08:54I knew Blake Snell was going to do this.
- 1:08:56I'm not surprised. I am not surprised Blake Snell
- 1:08:58is putting on this kind of, you know, performance throughout the
- 1:09:02playoffs. Blake Snell is one of the best
- 1:09:05playoff pitchers we've seen in the last 5-6 years.
- 1:09:08Blake Snell, when he was playing for the Rays, he was
- 1:09:11unbelievable. This is a great pitcher class.
- 1:09:14Now another Tampa Bay Ray pitcher, unbelievable and he's
- 1:09:20not even really playing so and it's not fair.
- 1:09:24Yamamoto Sasaki in the in the bullpen, That's not fair.
- 1:09:29Come on. And everybody's just say, well,
- 1:09:31you're a Yankee fan. Is that fair?
- 1:09:33What the Yankees did tonight, The Yankees didn't buy their
- 1:09:36full team. Tell me a guy on that roster
- 1:09:39right now that grew up on on that roster.
- 1:09:44Tell me one in the starting of that roster, there's not
- 1:09:47anybody. Not anybody.
- 1:09:49They're all guys from other teams, other franchises.
- 1:09:53That's all I'm saying. The Yankees.
- 1:09:56No, Monty was an ace trade. It was an ace.
- 1:09:58Trade Will Smith, I think, is the only one in their lineup.
- 1:10:00Will Smith? That's right.
- 1:10:01Yeah. And he was a catcher.
- 1:10:03He's a catcher. Monty was an ace trade.
- 1:10:04He was basically like a utility guy and they made him better.
- 1:10:07Than Will Smith is not a good catcher.
- 1:10:08I got news for you. He's not well, he's he's one of
- 1:10:11the best hitting catchers. As far as the defensive guy, I
- 1:10:13don't know, but it's, I mean, you'll take that kind of offense
- 1:10:17all the time. The thing that the thing that
- 1:10:19they just don't, that they do better than everybody else is
- 1:10:22they just don't let you have rallies.
- 1:10:25They're not going to let you like bring a couple of things
- 1:10:28together. If it goes bad in the 9th
- 1:10:30inning, they've got another guy to throw in there at you.
- 1:10:33As soon as you have three, you know, get through three batters,
- 1:10:35they always have an answer. It's like they're it's like
- 1:10:38playing with a stacked deck is what is the only way to.
- 1:10:42I don't play with. Stack decks.
- 1:10:43I don't play with stack decks because every time I play with a
- 1:10:45stack deck, I always lose. That's why I don't play
- 1:10:48blackjack anymore. I don't play poker.
- 1:10:50I lost $5000 in Vegas when I was 21 years old.
- 1:10:54I was up by 1200 with these sharks and they stole my money.
- 1:10:57So that's a whole nother story. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:11:00my deuce of the day, the. Deuce of the day you log.
- 1:11:05Not a log. I don't have a log, but you
- 1:11:06know. And, and my dues of the day goes
- 1:11:16to the New York Knicks. Yes, today announcement of
- 1:11:21retirement. And and it wasn't it wasn't
- 1:11:23shocking for me as a New York Knick fan as yes, Malcolm
- 1:11:29Brogdon retires after nine seasons of NBA basketball.
- 1:11:35Yes, Malcolm Brogdon who played for those Celtic teams.
- 1:11:38And I couldn't stand him. Malcolm Brogdon, who was one of
- 1:11:42the better two way players in the league for three or four
- 1:11:44years before his knee problems started to happen.
- 1:11:47Yes, that Malcolm Brogdon. And it goes to the New York
- 1:11:50Knicks this offseason on a, you know, a deal which pretty much
- 1:11:55was like one of those like 10 day deals that the Knicks would
- 1:11:57give you. And within what, 2 preseason
- 1:12:01games, Mike Brown pulled him to the side.
- 1:12:04And I, this is what I heard. This is not in the article.
- 1:12:08And he said, like, listen, Malcolm, you're not going to
- 1:12:10make the team. So what do you want to go?
- 1:12:12What do you want us to do? You want us to release you or do
- 1:12:14you want to retire? And Malcolm Brogdon realized
- 1:12:17that his, his career is over. He's done, his knees are done.
- 1:12:21This is a guy that at one point in the at one point watching him
- 1:12:25in the league, this guy was a borderline All Star.
- 1:12:29He it unfortunately, he played on great teams and he was just
- 1:12:34he wasn't better at one position than the other.
- 1:12:37He was a great two way player and it's it's shame.
- 1:12:41It's a shame because I, you know, I would have loved to see
- 1:12:43him play for the Knicks this year.
- 1:12:45I watched him so many years just completely dominate the Knicks
- 1:12:48and defend our best guard or two guard every single year when he
- 1:12:52was playing for the Celtics or anybody else.
- 1:12:55And it's a shame. It's a shame.
- 1:12:56So my dues of the day goes to a real bad Malcolm Brogdon, your
- 1:13:03retirement, which it just makes me sick to my stomach.
- 1:13:05Of course, the Knicks don't get it right with him, so Malcolm
- 1:13:09Brogden retires. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:13:12when we come back, he's never been on this show before.
- 1:13:16He's never been NFL quarterback and Auburn sports radio
- 1:13:21broadcaster. Played for 2006 to 14
- 1:13:26Commanders, Raiders, Bears, Browns and Bengals.
- 1:13:28The one and only Jason Campbell. But first, our sports minute
- 1:13:32with the fish. This is the Jabba and the Mouth
- 1:13:38sportsman at. All right, everybody, Aaron
- 1:13:42Fishman here with your sportsman and got a couple of stories for
- 1:13:45you before we talk about the scores this evening.
- 1:13:48First story, Arkansas head coach John Calipari, a long time NCAA
- 1:13:53head coach and former national champion, made waves with some
- 1:13:57comments about his impending retirement from the game.
- 1:13:59Calipari, who's 66, said that he will retire before he becomes a
- 1:14:04quote, UN quote, transactional coach.
- 1:14:06I want to help 25 to 30 more families, Calpari said during
- 1:14:10his media day on Tuesday. The only way you do that is to
- 1:14:14be a transformational coach, not transactional.
- 1:14:18If I become transactional, I'm going to pay you this and to do
- 1:14:22this and that. I won't do this anymore.
- 1:14:25I don't need to. What Calipari has done his whole
- 1:14:27career is transformed programs into winners wherever he's gone
- 1:14:30in the college ranks at least starting with UMass over to
- 1:14:33Memphis, to Kentucky, where he won a national championship and
- 1:14:36went to four Final Fours, and now Arkansas, which he took to
- 1:14:39the Sweet 16 in his first season on the bench.
- 1:14:42While many old time coaches are struggling with the new NIL
- 1:14:45landscape, it's not surprising. Does he coach Cal feel in the
- 1:14:47same way? It would just be sad to lose a
- 1:14:50legend in the game over the new economics that benefit the
- 1:14:53players more so than any other time in his career.
- 1:14:57And many would say that the Boston Red Sox overachieved this
- 1:15:00season, making it to the playoffs and getting eliminated
- 1:15:03by the Yankees in the Wild Card round in three games.
- 1:15:06Despite A depleted roster and trading away former third
- 1:15:08baseman Raphael Devers, the Red Sox proved they were to not be
- 1:15:11taken lightly. A big reason for that success
- 1:15:14has to be attributed the third baseman Alex Bregman, who signed
- 1:15:18with the team after many seasons in Houston.
- 1:15:20With two World Series wins on his resume, Bregman was a
- 1:15:23steadying presence in the lineup with a hot start to the season
- 1:15:26and in the field. But his best work may have come
- 1:15:28in the clubhouse, assuming the role of clubhouse leader as the
- 1:15:33season progressed. After a sad season where Bregman
- 1:15:35hit 273 with 18 homers and a 21 OPS and a 3 1/2 WAR, Bregman
- 1:15:40announced his plans to ESPN that he will opt out of his
- 1:15:44three-year, $120 million contract that he signed with
- 1:15:46Boston last spring training after only a small market for
- 1:15:49his services developed. While the Red Sox may be
- 1:15:51frontrunners to retain his services, Bregman will likely
- 1:15:54command a larger contract this year and a bigger cluster of
- 1:15:56teams looking to add him then what was in the situation for
- 1:15:59him last season, putting the Red Sox in a spot where they may
- 1:16:02have to overpay, especially if they don't think Marcelo Mayer
- 1:16:05or their other prospects are ready to assume the everyday
- 1:16:09role. Guys, we are streaming live on

- 1:18:38Anything is beef to me. If it's meat and you like the
- 1:18:40meat, you like every meaty thing anyways.
- 1:18:44Anyways, we've been, this guy's been sitting back there and he's
- 1:18:46never been on a show. We're very happy to have him.
- 1:18:48We're now talking to former 9, I'm sorry, 10 year NFL vets and
- 1:18:54now Auburn sports radio broadcaster, the one and only
- 1:18:59Jason Campbell. Jason, what's up, buddy?
- 1:19:02What's going on fellas? Appreciate appreciate y'all
- 1:19:04having me on. Looking forward to being on the
- 1:19:08show man. I just heard y'all renting off
- 1:19:09pretty good. Pretty good list of hot topics
- 1:19:12in in in baseball right now as well.
- 1:19:14Yeah, well, we, we, we got really deep into the whole
- 1:19:16football. Take the Caleb Williams and
- 1:19:19obviously the Jaden Daniels argument.
- 1:19:21Who's the guy and who's going to be the better quarterback in And
- 1:19:24that's what I want to get into. Jason, I always liked you.
- 1:19:27I remember you on the Washington Commanders.
- 1:19:29I thought Washington didn't treat you the way they should
- 1:19:32have treated you. I, I think the coaching was a
- 1:19:35lackluster. Ownership was just so bad.
- 1:19:39They brought in players that didn't fit really the team and
- 1:19:42the, and the defense. You were put in a bad position
- 1:19:46really your whole career. I I look at you, it's funny
- 1:19:49because I remember you as a kid and I was, I was watching you
- 1:19:53and I was like, man, this guy, this guy is much better if they
- 1:19:58put players around him and they just didn't do enough of that.
- 1:20:01But now you look at guys like Caleb Williams and Jaden
- 1:20:04Daniels. Jaden Daniels took his team to
- 1:20:06the NFC title game in his rookie season.
- 1:20:08Caleb Williams had Matt Everfluse and now you see a
- 1:20:11difference with Ben Johnson. When you look at both of these
- 1:20:14quarterbacks. What do you like about both
- 1:20:16quarterbacks and who do you think is going to transform
- 1:20:21their team in the next 10 years? Wow, that's a that's a that's a
- 1:20:25great, great question. And I said thanks for always
- 1:20:28your support and everything. Like I said, that's, that's the
- 1:20:30NFL, man. I always tell people sometimes
- 1:20:33the hardest thing, like there's a lot of great players in the
- 1:20:36NFL, but sometimes you can end up in bad situations and it's
- 1:20:40nothing you can do about it. You got to be professional as
- 1:20:42much as you can. But when I think about Jayden
- 1:20:45Daniels, I think about, you know, Caleb, I watched that game
- 1:20:47Monday night and when I look at when I look at Jayden Daniels,
- 1:20:53they tailor everything to what he does great.
- 1:20:56You know, like they, they really run their system off what he
- 1:20:59does great. I do think the knee injury kind
- 1:21:02of slows some things down Monday night for them that they didn't
- 1:21:05call as many RP OS that they probably are used to call it
- 1:21:09because they're trying to limit him from running.
- 1:21:12But when I think about Caleb, though, watching him last year
- 1:21:16compared to this year last year, I think they try to make him fit
- 1:21:19a system that they was trying to run this year.
- 1:21:22I think Ben Johnson has came in and said, no, we're going to do
- 1:21:25what your strengths are. And that's exactly what he did
- 1:21:28with Jerry Golf in in Detroit. You know, Jerry Golf is in
- 1:21:32Detroit. Jerry Golf, he knew as a play
- 1:21:34action passer, he know he can, he can read defenses better that
- 1:21:38way. He gets a strong one and throw
- 1:21:39the ball down the field. And that's what they did.
- 1:21:42They didn't do a whole bunch of empty formations or no RPO's
- 1:21:45with him. But you see with Caleb, they do
- 1:21:47some RPO game with him and then they also chunk it deep and but
- 1:21:51they hit some, they hit passes that are high percentage passes.
- 1:21:54They give him confidence and I think that's the difference
- 1:21:58between having Ben Johnson and what he went through last year
- 1:22:00where they just trying to make him fit what they wanted him to
- 1:22:02do instead of the other way around.
- 1:22:04Now, who do you think in the next 10 years, who do you think
- 1:22:07fits the mold with their rosters?
- 1:22:10And I you don't know, I mean, this is a guess because you
- 1:22:13don't know what these rosters are going to be 10 years.
- 1:22:14But what you see with both these young quarterbacks, who do you
- 1:22:18think is going to transform their team and and maybe win a
- 1:22:21Super Bowl? Who probably just have to say
- 1:22:25being honest, probably Jayden Daniels, just because you know,
- 1:22:29the guy did it at LSU for at a high level.
- 1:22:32And you know, you saw what he did last year in his rookie
- 1:22:34season, you know, taking the Commanders deep into the playoff
- 1:22:37before running into that great defensive the Eagles had last
- 1:22:40year. So you know, like Caleb, we
- 1:22:42still need to see more right when you see him win at a high
- 1:22:45level. But I think them starting off O
- 1:22:47and two and now they're three and two.
- 1:22:49I think he showed a lot of promise over these last couple
- 1:22:52of weeks that that he can respond for one, you know, he
- 1:22:55can get knocked down and he can he can batter batter his way
- 1:22:58back. And I think that's the thing
- 1:23:00you're seeing to him now where he's planning so much more
- 1:23:02confident that then he did a year ago.
- 1:23:05Last year something bad happened.
- 1:23:06It would go from one pick to 3/4 picks.
- 1:23:08You know where this year it's almost like, you know, they're
- 1:23:12off the shoulders, you know, keep it moving, you know, we'll
- 1:23:14worry about it later. And that's the difference.
- 1:23:17I see him now in the Bears Defense is playing pretty good
- 1:23:19right now. And I think that always helps a
- 1:23:21young quarterback. So you obviously went through
- 1:23:24with Washington with the ownership over there with, with
- 1:23:27Dan Snyder, my my extended family member who's a big on
- 1:23:29Washington. If they wanted me to mention
- 1:23:30this to you, like did you ever any face to face interaction
- 1:23:33that wasn't really as bad as a lot of the ex players are
- 1:23:35portraying? And that's because we've seen
- 1:23:36now since the new ownership has taken over, a lot of players
- 1:23:39have gotten the call back. They've retired the numbers and
- 1:23:41gotten more ceremonies for them. Have have they treated you a lot
- 1:23:43better as an alumni guy as alumni since then?
- 1:23:46What was it like over there? Yeah, You know, ever since, you
- 1:23:48know, of course the new ownership came in and then they
- 1:23:51put different people in the office and and, you know, we
- 1:23:54they reach out all the time, you know, as far as like alumni,
- 1:23:56like want to invite you, come back to games, inviting you to,
- 1:24:00you know, come up to training camp.
- 1:24:01And of course, it's been hard for me to be able to do that
- 1:24:03just because of the fact that I call games for Auburn during the
- 1:24:06season. So I have to travel with the
- 1:24:08team. And then the other aspect of it
- 1:24:10is I do NIL revenue share for Auburn.
- 1:24:13So, you know, being tied up with ages and parents and all that
- 1:24:16all the time, I don't get as much free time in order to get
- 1:24:19to Washington, But but they do reach out a lot with this new
- 1:24:23regime and and everything. And I know when, you know, when
- 1:24:25Dan was there, you know, I say it was, it was hit or miss,
- 1:24:28right? Like you can like you just, it
- 1:24:31was just, it was just it almost like you try buy a championship
- 1:24:36instead of trying to, you know, build 1.
- 1:24:39You know, I I feel like, you know, we went out and got a lot
- 1:24:41of high price free agents, but like you said, just may
- 1:24:44necessary not fit the mold of what you're trying to do rather
- 1:24:47than just, you know, taking that money and billing through the
- 1:24:50draft and and keeping guys together.
- 1:24:53I mean, when I got to the team, there's a lot of older veterans
- 1:24:55and I was like one of the young pups.
- 1:24:57So it wasn't a lot of the young drafted guys with me on offense,
- 1:25:01you know, that I can kind of groom with and I think that's a
- 1:25:03different you see now with with with Jayden Daniels is they
- 1:25:07surrounded him with as much talent they can youth, but they
- 1:25:10older guys they bring in or like experience guys that have won
- 1:25:14and good for your locker room, you know, and and those type of
- 1:25:18things. But I say Dan had it his way.
- 1:25:20But you can definitely see, you know, Magic Johnson as
- 1:25:23well-being involved in this, like he's been toward the Lakers
- 1:25:27and and the Dodgers for years. So you can definitely see his
- 1:25:30hand on on the Washington franchise as well.
- 1:25:33Now there's a lot of fans that Schneider had his hands dipped
- 1:25:36in. I don't want to get into it.
- 1:25:41We are talking to former 10 year NFL quarterback and all burn
- 1:25:47sports radio broadcaster Jason Campbell.
- 1:25:49You know Jason, I'm looking at your statistics.
- 1:25:51They're they're exceptional. I you look at what they gave
- 1:25:55you, your best year was 2009. You had 3618 yards, you had 20
- 1:26:00touchdowns, you did throw 15 interceptions.
- 1:26:02That's because the lack of talent around you.
- 1:26:05When you look at your career, do you think or would you have
- 1:26:09changed something in your career if you could change it again?
- 1:26:13Oh yeah, stability is one, right?
- 1:26:16Like being able to have one coordinator for multiple years
- 1:26:19where you get to the line of scrimmage and you can just see a
- 1:26:21look and say, OK, I could check out of this play and get to the
- 1:26:23Nets play. You know, as as hard as the NFL
- 1:26:26is that you're always relearning offenses while you're trying to
- 1:26:29play, then that's hard, man, because you never did get a
- 1:26:32chance to let your talent just show because you're thinking and
- 1:26:34playing at the same time. And yeah, I just like said
- 1:26:38stabilities for me would have been the best thing.
- 1:26:40And, and everything once Joe Gibbs retired, you know, it was
- 1:26:43just kind of like Jim Zorn was hired to be the quarterback
- 1:26:46coach, offense coordinator before head coach was even
- 1:26:48hired, you know, and then all of a sudden head coach wanted to
- 1:26:52bring his guys in. So that didn't work.
- 1:26:53So then they end up moving Jim Zorn to head coach and you know,
- 1:26:56nothing get Jim. He's a he's an awesome guy, but
- 1:26:58he never had experience that coordinator or head coach.
- 1:27:01So now you're asking him to do both of them at one time.
- 1:27:05And, and everything in 2008, we start off hot.
- 1:27:09But at the same time though, you know, once people caught on what
- 1:27:12we was doing, you know, you can kind of see the lack of
- 1:27:14experience of being able to adjust a little bit more in
- 1:27:17those situations. But yeah, it it's just man, just
- 1:27:21being able to groom with some teams.
- 1:27:23When you look at like the Eagles and you look at, you know, some
- 1:27:26of these other teams like Brock Purdy we got with the 49ers,
- 1:27:29like these teams are already set, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:27:32Like they already had great defenses, good run games.
- 1:27:35And now you now you come in there, it's not so much pressure
- 1:27:38on the quarterback to, you know, feel like you got to do so much.
- 1:27:42You know, it's just you will play your game.
- 1:27:44But, but you know, at the end of the day, it is what it is.
- 1:27:48You live with it, you move on. But the same time, like you say,
- 1:27:52yes, I, I do wish, you know, at some point there would be a lot
- 1:27:55of stability. And I really hate cause 2011 in
- 1:27:58the Oakland, we was having a great season before I broke my
- 1:28:00collarbone. And to me, I was getting ready
- 1:28:04to sign another deal and that you was probably gonna make the
- 1:28:06playoffs. And, you know, we've turned the
- 1:28:08Raiders around and like, and I was playing with a great group
- 1:28:11of young guys and we was taking off.
- 1:28:13And then all of a sudden collarbone injury happened and
- 1:28:15they end up making a trade. But they got they felt desperate
- 1:28:18at the time to save the season. But it messed up all the
- 1:28:21nucleus. You know, like people don't
- 1:28:24understand, like when you have a nucleus of guys that kind of
- 1:28:27click, you just don't mess that up.
- 1:28:29And, and it took the Raiders a long time before they even got
- 1:28:32back to that. Yeah, I remember that season
- 1:28:34because obviously Tim Tebow got all the hype with the Broncos
- 1:28:37like their turn around too. You guys were right there.
- 1:28:40Like I thought you guys were going to make the playoffs.
- 1:28:41And I think the Raiders, another team that really mistreated you
- 1:28:43after that they you're like they got desperate trade a first
- 1:28:45round pick for Carson Palmer and went everything like that and it
- 1:28:50was rough. And you look at organizations
- 1:28:52like that that seems like they can't get out of their own way
- 1:28:54to with quarterbacks. And now you're seeing it with
- 1:28:56obviously Washington finally found theirs, but it Raiders
- 1:28:59outside Derek Carr. They haven't haven't taken to
- 1:29:01find that. Like what do you think it is
- 1:29:02with like a lot of those isn't isn't the ownership problem?
- 1:29:04Is that a team culture issue that we've seen?
- 1:29:06Because now Tom Brady's over there with the Raiders and they
- 1:29:09go don't side? Sam Darnell, meanwhile, he's had
- 1:29:11a great year. Do you think ownership gets too
- 1:29:13involved with that kind of thing?
- 1:29:14Once you hire GM and you hire, you know, people to do their
- 1:29:19job, you have to let them do their job, right?
- 1:29:22Like, I'm going to give you the opportunity to to show me that
- 1:29:25you can do what I hired you to do before I even intervene.
- 1:29:29And I think at that concept of that, you know, I think a lot of
- 1:29:32those owners in some situation, they just can't keep their hands
- 1:29:36out of it long enough, you know, to the point that they've got to
- 1:29:39like, feel like they're involved or they got to feel like I'm
- 1:29:41doing something. You know, that's why I say I
- 1:29:45think Magic being with Washington is really good,
- 1:29:47right? Because Magic has been a player
- 1:29:49and he's seen how, you know, it can affect the locker room if
- 1:29:52you get too involved. And I think, you know, you seen
- 1:29:55Josh kind of not be in the media, not doing a lot of
- 1:29:58interviews, you know, kind of letting the the the GM and the
- 1:30:02staff kind of handle everything. And they're trying to work on
- 1:30:05like the stadium aspect and all those things.
- 1:30:07They're not really getting heavily involved with personnel.
- 1:30:10And you you see it at the Dallas Cowboys right now.
- 1:30:13You know, Jerry's kind of got his hand and I thought the
- 1:30:15Cowboys had a really good roster and I think they just kind of
- 1:30:18messed it up. And and you see that, you know,
- 1:30:21not being able to work something out with Michael Parsons and you
- 1:30:24know, one of your young guys. It's just some guys just feel
- 1:30:27like they can't help themselves. I just feel like with the
- 1:30:29Raiders, even Washington, you think about Cleveland Browns, a
- 1:30:33lot of these team that used to have a history, right, of
- 1:30:36winning championships and compete for championship.
- 1:30:38Back in the day when they was doing that, guys, there was no
- 1:30:41big free agency. Guys stayed together 78910
- 1:30:46years, you know, so the team was able to be built where now
- 1:30:51there's free agency and you got to be able to dip and move every
- 1:30:55three to four years. And how do I keep my main
- 1:30:57roster, my main core together? And I think a lot of guys just
- 1:31:00panic. They want instant results,
- 1:31:01instant. Think about Buffalo was about to
- 1:31:03get rid of Josh Allen before the season.
- 1:31:06He had his last year and then they end up re signing them.
- 1:31:10But before that they was talking about letting him go.
- 1:31:13He just had gotten there. So the patience is no longer,
- 1:31:17you better hit it your first year when you get dropped as a
- 1:31:20rookie or otherwise you're going to be trying to get rid of you
- 1:31:22within two years. And you look at Sam Darna, you
- 1:31:24look at Baker Mayfield. Like once they got with
- 1:31:27culturals and they got with people that believed in them and
- 1:31:29they got with coordinators, they let them be themselves.
- 1:31:33Now their careers taking off, it's just about man being the
- 1:31:35right fit, the right place at the right time with people that
- 1:31:38that know what they're doing. Jason, I'm a Jet fan, OK?
- 1:31:40So you don't have to tell me about quarterbacks, all right?
- 1:31:43You don't have to tell me how many quarterbacks The Jets have
- 1:31:45to go through. It's like, it's like the
- 1:31:47Goodyear blimp just floating and floating and floating and not
- 1:31:50popping. OK?
- 1:31:51That is what a being a Jet fan has to be.
- 1:31:55And and and these Jet fans are absolutely bogus because they're
- 1:31:58throwing away Aaron Glenn already.
- 1:31:59Oh, he's he's done. He's a during the headlines.
- 1:32:01You don't you know what to do. So I'm tired of jet fans, so I
- 1:32:05don't want to hear it from the jet fans.
- 1:32:07I would. I'm I'm with these three bone
- 1:32:09heads. OK, my board op guy, Tommy
- 1:32:11scoops. We call him Tommy poops.
- 1:32:13He's a giant fan. This idiot over here that you
- 1:32:16see Speedy Petey, he's a giant fan.
- 1:32:18My executive producer that you saw do do the sports minute,
- 1:32:21he's a giant fan. They're all giant fans, every
- 1:32:23single one of them. You played for the Commanders,
- 1:32:26all right, When you look at this giant organization and this love
- 1:32:30fest for Scataboo and Jackson Dart because of one freaking
- 1:32:34game against the Eagles. So your thoughts to this New
- 1:32:38York Giants, pray for giant fans with Jackson Dart.
- 1:32:42You have Jackson Dart standing like this in a picture and you
- 1:32:46have Scataboo looking down like he's like some kind of like
- 1:32:49relish, man, you know, feeding an Oscar Mayer Weiner.
- 1:32:53What what? What are your thoughts to this
- 1:32:54giant team after an Eagles win? I mean, these guys thought they
- 1:32:58won a Super Bowl. Hey, think about it.
- 1:33:02It's been a long time since the Giants have seen some promise.
- 1:33:06You know, I played against the Giants when I was at Washington.
- 1:33:08You think about the head OC stray hand hook, you know, like
- 1:33:13just loaded on both sides of the ball.
- 1:33:17And now you look at the Giants and it's like they don't look
- 1:33:20like the same Giants. But the defensively, they're
- 1:33:23starting to look like the old Giants.
- 1:33:24They're you know, they got burns and you know those guys that can
- 1:33:28kind of get after the passer right.
- 1:33:29So offensively, I think they just been kind of searching for
- 1:33:32the quarterback, right, how who who's going to be the
- 1:33:34quarterback? And then you got scatter Boo and
- 1:33:37he's out there making noise. And I think it's giving the fans
- 1:33:41some enjoyment when they go to the games and and excitement and
- 1:33:46these young pups, man are are are making the giants irrelevant
- 1:33:50again. So you ready to end?
- 1:33:51It's still a lot of season to be played, though.
- 1:33:53Like I said, it's all fun and games, long as you winning all
- 1:33:57that looks good. But once people get a book
- 1:34:01report on you and they start to study you a little bit more, now
- 1:34:05becomes professional. Being a quarterback and and
- 1:34:07everything now, can you be able to adjust when people are
- 1:34:10changing their way, they're changing the way they play you?
- 1:34:12So I was on YouTube, I was hanging out.
- 1:34:14I, I'm a YouTube guy looking at our stuff.
- 1:34:17I, I watch a lot of these serial killing, you know, documentaries
- 1:34:21because it interests me. I bump into this.
- 1:34:23You guys got to hear this. I don't know if anybody's heard
- 1:34:26this. This is called.
- 1:34:27This is called Scott, OK. Please please I can't listen to
- 1:35:08it anymore this hit. Him with the scat.
- 1:35:13Yeah, I'll hit him with the scat.
- 1:35:14I'll back kick him with my scat. Jesus Christ, go ahead, speed
- 1:35:18all. Right, I'm going to shift to
- 1:35:19some some college football. Obviously the biggest story
- 1:35:21maybe in all sports this week, James Franklin getting fired by
- 1:35:24Penn State. Obviously you're an SEC guy, but
- 1:35:25you do work with a lot of, obviously you work with NIL
- 1:35:28stuff like that too. And there was another story
- 1:35:30coming out that maybe Adidas might have had something to do
- 1:35:32with that with the NIL growth and maybe when they want to get
- 1:35:34to Penn State. So what are your thoughts?
- 1:35:36First, the firing of Penn State and how involved could these
- 1:35:39companies, Adidas, Nike, etcetera, be with some of these
- 1:35:42coaching decisions and decisions within the athletic departments?
- 1:35:44Well, somebody got to pay that big buyout, right?
- 1:35:4649.4 million, you know, So somebody is heavily involved.
- 1:35:51What do you think about a guy that just went to the playoffs
- 1:35:53last year, won two, two playoff games?
- 1:35:58I understand, yes, he hadn't beat Michigan, he hadn't beat
- 1:36:00Oregon, he hadn't beat Ohio State.
- 1:36:01But you just gave him an extension.
- 1:36:04You know that you not just just give him extension all the
- 1:36:06sudden now you fire him within one year that extension.
- 1:36:11Like to me, they're just too quick.
- 1:36:13Like they lost a lot of their team last year.
- 1:36:15When you lose your your quarterback and I mean, you lose
- 1:36:18star players, right? And now all of a sudden you had
- 1:36:22to use toe to toe in the Oregon game and you don't win the
- 1:36:26Oregon game. It's almost like that game just
- 1:36:29ripped their heart out. It's almost like they was been,
- 1:36:32they've been struggling to get back since they lost that game.
- 1:36:34You go and lose the UCLA, who was has an interim head coach
- 1:36:40and you get W, you know, out in Southern California and then you
- 1:36:44play against who just beat on his back.
- 1:36:46Northwestern. Yeah.
- 1:36:48Northwestern coming to your town and you lose the Northwestern, I
- 1:36:52think that would did it. I think the UCLA game kind of
- 1:36:55just caught him by surprise and then lose the Northwestern.
- 1:36:59Penn State has high hopes and but to me that was just too
- 1:37:02soon, too fast. Like everybody goes through that
- 1:37:04season sometimes where you have high hopes and things didn't go
- 1:37:07that way. Look at Florida State for
- 1:37:09example. They started to see how they
- 1:37:10beat Alabama about thought they were going to be in the
- 1:37:11playoffs. You know, now they're now
- 1:37:14they're what? O and three and ACC.
- 1:37:16Thank you. Thank you, Jason.
- 1:37:18I'm a Florida State fan. Thank you for shoving that in my
- 1:37:20face from The Jets to that, thank you.
- 1:37:24Can't pull the trigger so fast because teams can be equal
- 1:37:27nowadays because the trend, because transfer portal and the
- 1:37:31revenue share. Everybody has money now, Yeah.
- 1:37:34So teams like Vanderbilt, yeah, everybody else may be surprised,
- 1:37:38but Vanderbilt always been competitive.
- 1:37:40But now they can be really competitive because they got
- 1:37:42just the same amount of money as every other SEC school when it
- 1:37:44comes to revenue, budget. So they can contain a lot of
- 1:37:46their top talent where guys used to go there, ball out and
- 1:37:49everybody come and get them and they go to another school.
- 1:37:51Now those guys are staying there.
- 1:37:53You can however you want to do it.
- 1:37:54Pavia Mania, you know this guy's doing outstanding.
- 1:37:58Maybe you should just hit them with the scat.
- 1:38:00As you know, Giant fans believe it too.
- 1:38:03We are talking to former 10 year NFL quarterback in Auburn,
- 1:38:06Auburn sports radio broadcaster Jason Campbell.
- 1:38:10Jason played for the Commanders, the Raiders, the Bears, the
- 1:38:12Browns and the Bengals. Had a sensational career in the
- 1:38:15NFL, was a all world college player.
- 1:38:18It really was if it. Listen, I I'm bringing up these
- 1:38:21numbers. I want people to understand what
- 1:38:24Jason Campbell did in his college years that people
- 1:38:27probably forgot. This guy was the SEC offensive
- 1:38:31player of the year in 2004, first team all SEC in 2004,
- 1:38:36Sugar Bowl MVP in 2005 and Music City Ball MVP in 2003.
- 1:38:43This guy, he had a sensational career and he was drafted in the
- 1:38:46same draft as Alex Smith, Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:38:50And he was right behind them. And I, I believe, you know, if
- 1:38:54it wasn't with that injury problem that he had with the,
- 1:38:57with the Raiders, maybe, maybe it does make a run in the place,
- 1:39:00maybe wins the Super Bowl with the Raiders, who knows?
- 1:39:02We've seen crazier things. We've seen a lot of crazier
- 1:39:05things. So you know what's crazy about
- 1:39:08football, Jason and I've gone we were speaking about this on our
- 1:39:11first segment is that football is the most transitional,
- 1:39:16transitional league in sport out of all the sports.
- 1:39:19If you think about it, you could be the worst team in the NFL.
- 1:39:23You could have the worst defense in the NFL the year before and
- 1:39:26then have the best team in the NFL and the best defense in the
- 1:39:29NFL the year after. Why is that?
- 1:39:32What why, why does the why is the NFL so different?
- 1:39:36You can't do that in basketball. Even if you had a player, you
- 1:39:38can't do that in hockey. You can't do that in you can't
- 1:39:41do that in baseball. You can have the best player in
- 1:39:43the world and you're still not going to win.
- 1:39:44Look at the look at the Yankees. So why is football so different
- 1:39:50than the other sports? Well, one is injuries.
- 1:39:54Injuries can derail you big time in football because you know
- 1:39:57it's a 53 man roster and if you got look at Cincinnati Bengals
- 1:40:02like Joe Burrow got him championship contenders Joe Joe
- 1:40:07Burrow gets hurt now they can't even win a game, you know so.
- 1:40:12It it's those type of things of being able to stay healthy and
- 1:40:15getting hot at the right time. Like it's not how you start the
- 1:40:18season. It's typically that third part
- 1:40:20of the season and third quarter of the season around Game 10,
- 1:40:24Game 11, who's getting hot and who's getting healthier towards
- 1:40:27the end of the year, when the Giants made both of their runs
- 1:40:30at the Super Bowl, it got hot. At the end of the year.
- 1:40:34It's not like they was 10 and two or, you know, 13 and three
- 1:40:38at the time when they got hot. No, they got hot, of course, the
- 1:40:41end of their seasons and also they won those runs and won the
- 1:40:44Super Bowl. So that's the thing, man.
- 1:40:48It's just it, it's so crazy how the NFL can be from year to
- 1:40:52year. That's why I say every, every,
- 1:40:54any given Sunday, it's true. Any given Sunday, you can be
- 1:40:57beat. Now, I don't know why the Knicks
- 1:41:01decided to get rid of their head coach.
- 1:41:02You know he went to the conference championship.
- 1:41:04Come on now, you're going after my basketball team.
- 1:41:09I'm just. Saying, you know, the Knicks,
- 1:41:10the Knicks were down for years and all of a sudden, you know,
- 1:41:13they get the coach in there. He's hard nosed defensive guy.
- 1:41:16He he makes him go hard and did everything.
- 1:41:19Then all of a sudden, you know, hey man, get out of here.
- 1:41:22I don't know man, what makes people happy now.
- 1:41:24First of all, Jason, Tom Thibodeau weighed out his
- 1:41:28welcome. I was one of very few people
- 1:41:31that stuck up for him. But the guy, he could never get
- 1:41:34a team to A championship. He never took Chicago to A
- 1:41:37championship. He had those great Timberwolves
- 1:41:39teams. He was AGM slash head coach
- 1:41:42couldn't get those great Timberwolves he had.
- 1:41:44He had talent up the kazoo and he couldn't get them into the he
- 1:41:48couldn't get them into the, the, the championship.
- 1:41:50He couldn't even get him out of the first round over the hour.
- 1:41:52And then he comes to the. Next one member Guy
- 1:41:54Philadelphia. Then he had talent.
- 1:41:56He got him B for how many years? No, please.
- 1:41:58And then they go out and they and they get guys from, you
- 1:42:01know, you're. Talking about dock Rivers,
- 1:42:03please don't bring up Dock Rivers, Please don't.
- 1:42:06Bring up the cake of the blown 3-1 lead.
- 1:42:08It's. Not that easy to get to the
- 1:42:10championship. The Knicks don't have a big man.
- 1:42:13They have guards that can shoot and you know, and, and the guys
- 1:42:16played great defense as hard as they can.
- 1:42:19But when you run up against these big teams, they got
- 1:42:22centers and got six 10611 guys that shooting outside and you
- 1:42:26run up against the Celtics, you know, like it gets a little bit
- 1:42:30harder when you're playing the big guys down.
- 1:42:33Believe it or not, you. Don't have a big man?
- 1:42:35Believe it in the Knicks do it have.
- 1:42:37Patrick Ewing. They don't have Patrick Ewing.
- 1:42:39They do. They have Robinson, they have
- 1:42:41Karl Anthony Towns, they've got big men.
- 1:42:43Yeah, they got Towns, they got, they got towns, they got towns
- 1:42:46is great player. I'm a fan of town.
- 1:42:49Listen, listen, I if I want to spank somebody, I'll spank them
- 1:42:53right on the rear ends. I'm going to tell you this right
- 1:42:55now. Then if there's a chance the
- 1:42:57Knicks have a chance to win a play, win a championship, it's
- 1:43:00this year. OK, they had to go with another
- 1:43:03route and they brought in Mike Brown.
- 1:43:05Mike Brown. If you look at Mike Brown's
- 1:43:07record as a head coach, it's one of the best in the last 15 years
- 1:43:11of coaching. Think about it.
- 1:43:13Wrong in Sacramento did. Him wrong, they did him wrong,
- 1:43:16but he's kind of the same kind of coach as Thibodeau.
- 1:43:19The only thing different is he doesn't run these players into
- 1:43:21the ground like Tom Thibodeau did.
- 1:43:24Tom Thibodeau ran, Jaylen Brunson, Josh Hart, all these
- 1:43:27guys, they couldn't stay healthy.
- 1:43:29OG and Anobi, Mikhail Bridges. Please, Jason, we can go back
- 1:43:33and forth with this team. I am upset.
- 1:43:36I am turbulent. I, I, there's so much turbulence
- 1:43:39in this studio right now because as soon as you brought the
- 1:43:42Knicks, you went from you went from The Jets, you went to
- 1:43:45Florida State and now you went with the Knicks.
- 1:43:48What's next? What are?
- 1:43:50You I know, I know. I'm on the podcast with with New
- 1:43:53York fans, Florida State fan, you know, So I just want to make
- 1:43:57sure we get it all out, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:43:59Sometimes you got this stuff bottled up in your system and it
- 1:44:01needs to come out. You know, so listen the only
- 1:44:04thing bottom. Knicks feeling You just told me
- 1:44:06the Knicks are going to the championship.
- 1:44:08If they have a chance, it's this.
- 1:44:09If they have a. This is the Do you want me to
- 1:44:12give you my take on this? You want me?
- 1:44:14To Jason Tatum is out for most of the season, so you know the
- 1:44:17Boston is without one of their star players for most of the
- 1:44:21season. I don't know about Miami yet.
- 1:44:23Miami. You know Philly.
- 1:44:25Philly supposed to be better. Let's see what Philly does.
- 1:44:28Stop. Give me any worse than last
- 1:44:30year. But how good are they really?
- 1:44:32He went with Philadelphia. You know, but you know, we'll
- 1:44:37see. We'll see.
- 1:44:38You know, Milwaukee, be a little bit.
- 1:44:39Better now you lost your mind. Why?
- 1:44:43Because they brought the Giannis brothers there.
- 1:44:46Hey, I'm just saying. You know, second.
- 1:44:48People on the shoulder this year.
- 1:44:49Jason, their second best player is an ex Nick, who is like the
- 1:44:53seventh guy off the bench from the Knicks when Portis.
- 1:44:56They're not going anywhere. Giannis will be a Nick at the
- 1:44:59trade deadline. I'll make a bet with you.
- 1:45:02He already came out and said he only wants to play for the
- 1:45:04Knicks. If he leaves Milwaukee, the only
- 1:45:06team he wants to go to is the New York Knicks.
- 1:45:08Well. If he don't play for the Knicks,
- 1:45:09were they going to get rid of Anthony Towns?
- 1:45:11No, Well, that that's a good question.
- 1:45:14No, not as much. Now what I'm hearing is they
- 1:45:17would have to give up probably draft stock.
- 1:45:19They're going to have to give up either OG or McHale.
- 1:45:21They're going to have to give up Robinson.
- 1:45:23They're going to have to give up McBride and maybe somebody else
- 1:45:26in that trade with three first round draft picks that will get
- 1:45:28it done. They got to match the with with
- 1:45:30the NBA, you got to match salaries.
- 1:45:32So I kind of put it together. I looked at the salaries and I
- 1:45:36did my mathematical equation and I put it together for all the
- 1:45:40fans to understand. OG and Anobi is making $40
- 1:45:44million a year, Robinson is making $12 million a year,
- 1:45:49McBride is making 3. When you add that all together,
- 1:45:52what is that? Add Speedy. 4012 and five that
- 1:45:55is 57. 55 because it's three. He's making 3,000,000 a year.
- 1:46:01McBride. OK, so it's 3, So it's 53.
- 1:46:04And how much does Giannis make? 54 and a half 50. 4 1/2 So a
- 1:46:10little shimmy right there. Ladies and gentlemen, I just
- 1:46:13helped you. I'll just tell you.
- 1:46:15I'll just tell you though, basketball is a tough sport,
- 1:46:19right? Back in the day you could play
- 1:46:21defense. Now you know they semi play
- 1:46:25defense until the playoffs come. They don't play any defense.
- 1:46:28They don't. Play the way.
- 1:46:29To the. Playoffs you're.
- 1:46:31Damn right they do. You know, but Knicks fan want to
- 1:46:34win every game. You can't win every game, you
- 1:46:36know what I'm saying? It's about being healthy when
- 1:46:38you get to the playoffs. You know there's the thing about
- 1:46:40Duke last year, right? Oh, Errol's other favorite
- 1:46:44coach. You did it again.
- 1:46:46You took my favorite college basketball team, Jason.
- 1:46:50Allen, That's how much he loves his coach.
- 1:46:51What is he doing? Auburn's my team.
- 1:46:53We we both go to the Final Four, right and.
- 1:46:57You got a hurt. Last year Cameron Indoor Stadium
- 1:46:59and we lost the close one to Duke and we was hoping we get
- 1:47:03the rematch with Duke in the playoffs.
- 1:47:04I mean, the final four and both of us end up losing at the end.
- 1:47:07But how do how Duke lost? Man, I'm I'm crying for you.
- 1:47:11Like the way that game just kind of melted down.
- 1:47:14At the end. Thank you.
- 1:47:16Thank you. Make me.
- 1:47:17You know you. You give me bad dreams, Jason.
- 1:47:19You went and now you. Now you've made it even worse.
- 1:47:22You went from The Jets to the Florida State Seminoles to the
- 1:47:28Knicks and now my dookies. What else do you want to do to
- 1:47:33me, man? Or you're going to go with the
- 1:47:34Yankees? Go ahead, attack the Yankees
- 1:47:37conversation. We're going to have a
- 1:47:38conversation about the Yankees. I'm a Yankees fan, but you know,
- 1:47:40I'm a Braves fan first. But then, you know, I like the
- 1:47:43Yankees. Too.
- 1:47:43All right. You know, but that's still, it's
- 1:47:46too soon for that one. That was too soon.
- 1:47:48But what are your Jets going to do though, man?
- 1:47:50Like what's happening? You just saw what happened in
- 1:47:52Tennessee. OK, you want me to tell you?
- 1:47:54You want me to tell you what The Jets are going to do?
- 1:47:55Here's what The Jets are going to do.
- 1:47:57Because you fans need to calm the F down.
- 1:48:00Because I want to. I want to smack Jet fans in the
- 1:48:02face. I just want that.
- 1:48:04Maybe I should line them up. I get a paddle that says jets on
- 1:48:06it and just line them up and just paddle.
- 1:48:09You whack them with my freaking battle, OK?
- 1:48:11Because they're all idiots. All you Jet fans are morons.
- 1:48:15You go JET, yes, and I say it now, JETS sucks, sucks, sucks,
- 1:48:19but here's what the Jet this is. This is what makes me proud to
- 1:48:23be a Jet fan and and here's why, because I'm a realist.
- 1:48:26The fact is Aaron Glenn's the right guy.
- 1:48:29Aaron Glenn has kept his team in every single game.
- 1:48:33This is a first year coach that's never done it before, but
- 1:48:36he's done it as a player. And if you look back at the
- 1:48:38players that have taken over as coaches, they've been very
- 1:48:41successful. Go ask Todd Bowles right now
- 1:48:43with the Buccaneers. All right, Who was it, Jed?
- 1:48:46OK, that's just one. I think what that's going to
- 1:48:49happen to Jets. The Jets will win maybe one game
- 1:48:51this year, maybe one. They'll be in every single game,
- 1:48:54but they might win one game this year.
- 1:48:57They're going to get the number one pick in this year's draft
- 1:48:59because they have one of the easiest schedules in the league
- 1:49:01as far as the NFL is concerned. And they're going to draft
- 1:49:05Fernando Mendoza. That's where they're going to
- 1:49:09go. They're going to draft the
- 1:49:10Indianapolis, Indiana, Indiana quarterback who looks like he's
- 1:49:15a stud and you saw what he did last week when he went to
- 1:49:19Oregon. And I think he's going to
- 1:49:21continue what he's doing now and he's going to win the Heisman
- 1:49:24Trophy this year. I really believe that kid is
- 1:49:27going to win the Heisman Trophy. He's going to go on to the NFL
- 1:49:30and I think The Jets are finally going to get the quarterback
- 1:49:33that they've been craving for, like the ice cream cone I'm
- 1:49:36going to eat after this show because I'm craving for it right
- 1:49:39now. So that's.
- 1:49:40Why Aaron Rodgers came in town two years ago.
- 1:49:42Oh, please. That's, that's all.
- 1:49:45Now you're now you're attacking a guy that I rooted for, for for
- 1:49:48years. He was my favorite quarterback.
- 1:49:50And of course, you know what, you taste it.
- 1:49:52I I think me and you like see eye to eye and our heads just
- 1:49:55like we could just bang each other's heads together.
- 1:49:58I'm just saying there's no. I'm just trying to let you know
- 1:50:01that there's no quick fix. No, there's no quick.
- 1:50:03Fix to getting back to championships now.
- 1:50:05When Rich Ryan was there, they went to the AFC Championship
- 1:50:08back-to-back years. You're selling me.
- 1:50:09You're selling. Me right, great defense.
- 1:50:12So you start with your defense first, right?
- 1:50:14Defense wins championships. Like you don't have to have the
- 1:50:18home run hitter quarterback to go and win a championship.
- 1:50:21You just need to have the guy that knows how to protect the
- 1:50:23football, knows how to hit explosive plays.
- 1:50:26You know what I'm saying? Don't turn the ball over a lot
- 1:50:29and leads your football team. So let's go.
- 1:50:31If you look around, if you look around the league, Brock Purdy
- 1:50:35went to the Super Bowl year before.
- 1:50:36Brock Purdy is not an all world quarterback, you know what I'm
- 1:50:39saying? But you look at Jalen Hurst,
- 1:50:41Jalen Hurst doing what he doing getting to Super Bowls.
- 1:50:45Now Pat Mahomes is a different story.
- 1:50:46Pat Mahomes is a all world style quarterback, right?
- 1:50:49But you look at guys throughout the years, everyone wants to hit
- 1:50:54the home run quarterback, OK, You hit the home run
- 1:50:56quarterback, but then you forget about the rest of your roster,
- 1:50:59you know? So that's the difference.
- 1:51:02Like The Jets have to just understand patience, patience,
- 1:51:06patience. Listen.
- 1:51:08You know, I've been patient for freaking 30 years, man.
- 1:51:12What? How much patience do you have to
- 1:51:14give me? I I'd rather crap in my pants
- 1:51:18than believe that I have to wait for another 3 or 4 years.
- 1:51:21Listen, if The Jets win a championship right on the show,
- 1:51:23I'd shit in my pants, OK? I I did never the way I'm living
- 1:51:29until Joe Namath is gone and may rest in peace whenever that
- 1:51:32happens. The Jets are never going to win.
- 1:51:35I'm tired, I'm lost, and I'm sold.
- 1:51:39All right, I like The Jets fan, man.
- 1:51:41Jets fan JTJETS, man. I like The Jets, Jets, Jets,
- 1:51:44Jets. Like sure you're sure.
- 1:51:45About that, I just think. You're sure?
- 1:51:47I think JTS sucks sucks sucks. No, no, I just think it takes a
- 1:51:51little bit more patient. Now the question is are you
- 1:51:55going to keep Gary Wilson because trade dateline is
- 1:51:59coming. So you just said that y'all
- 1:52:01going to start to probably lose a lot of.
- 1:52:03Games, they're keeping, them they're keeping.
- 1:52:04Them, you know, but Gary was pretty hot.
- 1:52:06He's pretty hot Sunday, you know, in London, you know, he's
- 1:52:10pretty hot in London. I thought he might stay in
- 1:52:12London. And
- 1:52:35Well, you become a Giants fan. No, no, I'm making, I'm making
- 1:52:38fun of the Giants. I'm making they, they, they beat
- 1:52:41the Eagles and they make a damn scataboo song.
- 1:52:44Please. They could have beat the Cowboys
- 1:52:47early in the. Year.
- 1:52:47Oh, they could have. Should have, Woulda, But they
- 1:52:49didn't. But guess what?
- 1:52:50Carolina beat the Cowboys, Yes, because Mr. Dunwaddle was
- 1:52:54running all over them. Well, Dolwaddle, whatever the
- 1:52:56hell. Is it go doddle, Cowboys legend?
- 1:52:58Go waddle. Do waddle, dooddle, doodle
- 1:53:00doodle doodle doodle Mr. Doodle Dog, Doodie Dahlia, whatever.
- 1:53:04Anyways, Jason, we love you, man.
- 1:53:06You're, you're great. You're doing such a great job
- 1:53:08with Auburn and I, I think you're a sensational personnel.
- 1:53:12We'd love to get you on the show again.
- 1:53:14And next time Jab will be on the show and I'm sure he'll give you
- 1:53:18his little riffs. Jason, next time you come on
- 1:53:21with Jabba on the show. Be prepared for all your fans
- 1:53:24but. Be prepared with all your great
- 1:53:25Nebraska football attacks. That's true.
- 1:53:27Right now, Right now I don't have a lot to you.
- 1:53:29I can't really just be no Jonan on a lot of other folks teams.
- 1:53:32You know, my team is struggling a little bit right now.
- 1:53:35You know, we're three and three in college football and we've
- 1:53:39got to kind of hose a little bit by some referee calls.
- 1:53:42Yeah, Oklahoma and Georgia game. But you know, at the end of the
- 1:53:45day, you still got that whole accountability.
- 1:53:46You got to finish, right. So we still young football team
- 1:53:49that's still learning how to get back.
- 1:53:50From winning, I got a winning. I can help you out.
- 1:53:52You know what you do? You reach out to the NFL and you
- 1:53:54hire the Kansas City Kansas City referees because they seem to
- 1:53:58get all the calls. Maybe you should send them.
- 1:54:01Maybe you should send them your way.
- 1:54:02Maybe that'll that'll help you out when it comes to the play
- 1:54:05calling in those games. I mean, watching Kansas City
- 1:54:08play, it's it's, it's a bunch of it's a bunch of you know, it's,
- 1:54:11it's, it's, it's Taylor Swift, it's the Swifties.
- 1:54:14I can't stand watching her over there at the press box.
- 1:54:18All right, I, I'm done. I don't want to get myself any
- 1:54:20in any more trouble on this show.
- 1:54:22But Jason, I love you. I'd love to get you on the show
- 1:54:26again. And next time we'll have Jabba.
- 1:54:28You're a Yankee fan, so you know who Jabba Chamberlain is, so I'm
- 1:54:32sure you'll have a lot of fun with him.
- 1:54:33You know, me and him go back and forth.
- 1:54:35If I could jump through, you know, my computer screen.
- 1:54:39Well, I have a big 45 inch screen TV.
- 1:54:42Sometimes when Job opens his mouth, I just want to grab him
- 1:54:45and choke him up with the hunts like that.
- 1:54:47But you know, Job is probably watching the show right now.
- 1:54:49He's like Ask you World. We're joking.
- 1:54:52My good. We don't get my Internet back.
- 1:54:54You're gonna be dead. Yeah, whatever.
- 1:54:55Anyways, Jason, we love you. Keep up the good work and we're
- 1:54:59going to talk to you soon. Man, I hope you enjoyed this
- 1:55:01interview we did and go Auburn. Yeah, yeah, I appreciate it,
- 1:55:06guys. Thanks for having me on.
- 1:55:07And for what all is worth, I am a Knicks fan, but Golden State's
- 1:55:11first. You did it again.
- 1:55:15You did it again. Jason, ask Carol what he thinks
- 1:55:17about your favorite guy, Steph Curry.
- 1:55:19You. Did it again.
- 1:55:21He did it again. You know.
- 1:55:24He did it again. He went all over the place
- 1:55:28tonight and he did. He went from one team to be.
- 1:55:32A Steph Curry plays against his former coach Mike Brown and
- 1:55:37you're Knicks in a championship? Never going to happen.
- 1:55:40Never going to happen. That would be awesome.
- 1:55:42They're not making to the championship.
- 1:55:44They don't have enough pieces. They better.
- 1:55:46Get the Warriors or Knicks. No, the Warriors, they don't
- 1:55:49have enough pieces in the in the Western Conference.
- 1:55:52OK, see, right now to me, and Dallas looks pretty damn good
- 1:55:56too. I like what?
- 1:55:57Dallas, we can't say. We can't say that Steph Curry
- 1:55:59got hurt last year. He didn't get chance play in the
- 1:56:01second. Round of series.
- 1:56:03Perry got hurt, knocked out. He got he was hot.
- 1:56:06The The Warriors got hot, you know, Jimmy Butler started
- 1:56:09finding buckets. Jimmy.
- 1:56:10But. You know Jimmy.
- 1:56:12But got hot. He's got to stop playing.
- 1:56:15He's got to stop playing dominoes and and start shooting
- 1:56:18the buckets, OK, him and his domino playing.
- 1:56:21Jason, they got the Warriors got knocked out by Errol's other
- 1:56:23favorite player in the NBA, Anthony Edwards.
- 1:56:27Yes. Anyways.
- 1:56:30Pulled it out of my well. Appreciate you guys having me
- 1:56:33on. I know y'all live, y'all gotta
- 1:56:34get on to your next next target. Man, I mean, we love you and we
- 1:56:38we really appreciate the time and keep up.

- 1:56:45SEC state of mind. I cover all we cover all SEC
- 1:56:48games. Co host Taylor Davis.
- 1:56:53She's a Co host, sideline reporter for ESPN.
- 1:56:55So we do a lot of we talk all SEC on SEC state of mind I
- 1:57:00believe. If you like to look at somebody
- 1:57:02and you're watching Taylor Davis, you.
- 1:57:06Know Taylor single. Taylor single.
- 1:57:07I told her. I said, hey, you know, I'll be
- 1:57:10on the hunt for you. But.
- 1:57:15Before I got. I got, I got to see, you see, I
- 1:57:17got to see people resumes before I turn them into her.
- 1:57:20Don't worry, I got a resume for you.
- 1:57:32Jason, I love you, man. We got to talk off air, man.
- 1:57:35Thanks, man. We really appreciate you all.
- 1:57:38Right. Appreciate it, guys.
- 1:57:39See you. 10 year NFL vet chasing Campbell.
- 1:57:45He's funny, man. Man, what a show.
- 1:57:55I'm a little lost tonight. A little lost.
- 1:57:59All right, ladies and gentlemen, Kenny wants to talk.
- 1:58:03Let's put him through. Let's hear Kenny.
- 1:58:05Kenny hasn't called yet. We are anticipating the great
- 1:58:09goose. Chaser, at some point the geese,
- 1:58:11Not goose Geese, you know. On his better days.
- 1:58:15It's not one, it's many geese. This man tried to run after
- 1:58:21geese and jump and ride one of them.
- 1:58:24OK, this crazy earth lunatic. Okay, I mean, and then he posted
- 1:58:30it up on YouTube and then YouTube spotted it and they
- 1:58:34cancelled his channel because of it.
- 1:58:37For what? Cruelty to animals.
- 1:58:39Cruelty to animals. That's right, Kenny is 1
- 1:58:46Freakazoid man, I I got to say that he's one.
- 1:58:49Your YouTube channel cancelled for cruelty to animals running
- 1:58:54after geese. It's Kenny.
- 1:58:55Do you like throwing anything at them or he's just chasing them?
- 1:58:58I have no idea, Guys. Guys are crazy.
- 1:59:00He's just giving his takes on The Jets to them.
- 1:59:05If you were to try to ask Kenny about the current Jets, he would
- 1:59:08probably tell tell you that Geno Smith was still the quarterback.
- 1:59:13I was actually at that draft in this at Radio City Music Hall in
- 1:59:17the second round. I was there for that and it at
- 1:59:20we were in the, if you remember back in the day, they had the
- 1:59:24mezzanine and if you look like if you saw it, it was a party in
- 1:59:27that mezzanine. It was all you can drink for
- 1:59:30free. If you got tickets to that
- 1:59:31mezzanine and like they gave you food too.
- 1:59:34It's like all you could eat, all you could drink is and they gave
- 1:59:36you like an earpiece to the broadcast.
- 1:59:38And we're just making chance doing the wave, going at, like,
- 1:59:42yelling stuff at Mel Kiper, yelling stuff at Rich Eyes and
- 1:59:45Rich Eyes. And we get up in the middle of
- 1:59:47the commercial breaks and, like, shout out everybody.
- 1:59:50But it was a lot of fun. And when Gino got drafted, what
- 1:59:53do you think that the sound in the room was?
- 1:59:55That went crazy. It was laughter because his his
- 2:00:00season, you remember that season, they started off like
- 2:00:03they were like one of the top teams in the league with Rich
- 2:00:06Rod. And then they lost like six
- 2:00:08games in a row or something like that.
- 2:00:09Thank you. All right, let's let's move on.
- 2:00:11All right, save your tears. Mom, What's one thing that you
- 2:00:15can't talk to me about my sexual fantasies?
- 2:00:20Say yourself, it is not ideal, but if it's what means it is not
- 2:00:23ideal, but if it's just not ideal.
- 2:00:25But if it is, what means you can't dribble stamp a double
- 2:00:28stamp. You can't dribble stamp a double
- 2:00:30stamp, Lloyd. You can't dribble stamp a double
- 2:00:31stamp but but. You guys, now it's time for save
- 2:00:37your tear. I love Lisa Ann Let.
- 2:00:40Me tell you something, I have heard enough attacks by my
- 2:00:44teams, by many different people on this show tonight.
- 2:00:47And Campbell, Mr. Jason Campbell went after every single.
- 2:00:52It was like he read my mind, my teams, my the players I can't
- 2:00:57stand. He purposely attacked every
- 2:01:02piece of me on this that on that interview.
- 2:01:05So I I'd like to thank Jason for doing that.
- 2:01:07Now. He's the first to ever do that.
- 2:01:09He really? Pulled out of his all of your
- 2:01:11teams. He got to college basketball.
- 2:01:14He he, he got to the fact that he hates Steph Curry.
- 2:01:18It was impressive. He called everything.
- 2:01:21And who's he work with? What's her name again?
- 2:01:23Taylor Davis. I remember her.
- 2:01:25She's on SEC Network. I remember her.
- 2:01:27Yeah, I remember her. So all right, let's do it.
- 2:01:31All right guys, this is Savior Tears, everybody's favorite tier
- 2:01:35based daily weekly fantasy game. We're going to follow the PPR
- 2:01:40scoring from Yahoo Fantasy Football.
- 2:01:42Everyone gets $15.00 to make their picks.
- 2:01:46The winner of Savior Tears gets long winded, 51% at least.
- 2:01:52Genuine compliments from the next show from all of the
- 2:01:56losers. Let me show you the board for
- 2:02:00this week. We've got it right here.
- 2:02:04I picked three games in this week skint one we got in fact, I
- 2:02:08don't have it in front of me. We got the giants match up.
- 2:02:12We got The Jets match up in this week and the Panthers facing off
- 2:02:19against. I forgot the game Speedy.
- 2:02:21You have to help me with this one.
- 2:02:23Had it in front of. Panthers against The Jets.
- 2:02:25Panthers against The Jets. Panthers, Jets, the Chiefs are
- 2:02:30taking on, They already face the Giants, so it can't be the
- 2:02:33Giants and it's probably the Broncos.
- 2:02:37Is that what? We have Chiefs against the
- 2:02:38Raiders. That's one of my picks.
- 2:02:39It's a big spread for this week. So the Broncos.
- 2:02:43All right, so here we go, guys. There's not a lot at the
- 2:02:47receiver position this week, but take a look who we have on the
- 2:02:49board. Quarterback Pat Mahomes at $5,
- 2:02:53Bone Nicks at 4. The great Jackson Dart at 3,
- 2:02:58Bryce Young at 2. Justin Fields for a buck.
- 2:03:01I decided not to include Gino because he is leading the league
- 2:03:04in interceptions at 10. At running back, Ashton Gente is
- 2:03:08a $5 player. Rico Dowdle.
- 2:03:11Errol, how do you pronounce his last name again?
- 2:03:16Doodle? I thought you said like do.
- 2:03:17Widdle do widdle like a. Part of this small do waddle, do
- 2:03:21waddle. Yeah.
- 2:03:22Reese Hall for three. Killer Cam Scatterbo at 2:00
- 2:03:26because that's what he sounded like to me with the auto tune a
- 2:03:29second ago. I guess Cam's got Killer.
- 2:03:31Cam didn't use all. Right.
- 2:03:32I'm glad I introduced you to that stupid song.
- 2:03:35So I'm putting that on my pregame warmups.
- 2:03:39I'm excited for that. We're going to.
- 2:03:43Yeah. Well, I'm really excited to
- 2:03:45listen to that a lot. And then JK Dobbins for a
- 2:03:47dollar, $5 receiver. Cortland Sutton, they get for
- 2:03:52wide receiver, one wide receiver 2.
- 2:03:53It's Trey Tucker. It is real thin at receiver in
- 2:03:55these games. Wandale Robinson is the $4.00
- 2:03:58player. Tedaroa McMillan is on the other
- 2:04:01side. We have Xavier Worthy and
- 2:04:03Hollywood Brown, 2 Chiefs receivers to pick from because
- 2:04:07we're not really sure who's coming back.
- 2:04:08I didn't put them up there, but Rashi Rice, it shouldn't make
- 2:04:11his debut this week. We got Josh Reynolds for The
- 2:04:15Jets because I guess they got to throw it to somebody.
- 2:04:18If we have the likely missing of the game by Garrett Wilson, Troy
- 2:04:22Franklin, Hunter Renfro and Alan Lazard for a buck at tight end,
- 2:04:27Arrow's favorite person on the planet Earth, Travis Kelsey, is
- 2:04:31a $5 player. We still don't think we haven't
- 2:04:33brought the hours. He might be second, he might be
- 2:04:35second least away to scatter, but with this point?
- 2:04:37Thank God he didn't bring him up.
- 2:04:40He didn't bring up Travis Kelce. He's like the only one he didn't
- 2:04:42bring up but did get into Taylor from.
- 2:04:45It was pretty close. Pretty close.
- 2:04:47Michael Mayer I have for $4.00. Doesn't look like we're getting
- 2:04:50Brock Bowers again, but that is still pending.
- 2:04:52Evan Ingram for three, Tommy Tremble for two, and Penn State
- 2:04:57legend Giants tight end Theo Johnson for a dollar.
- 2:05:02So I have a way to do this for Jabba, similar to his coin
- 2:05:09flipping method for making picks that we're going to, I guess
- 2:05:13simulate speedy. You get a coin for when you do
- 2:05:16the six pack and you will. Simulate Jabba's flicker.
- 2:05:20But I've got a wheel over here that we're going.
- 2:05:23To my Indo. For Jabba and let me put it up
- 2:05:28on the screen right now. Bring this down and I'm going to
- 2:05:32show you how we're going to decide who Jabba selects for
- 2:05:36each one of these. Speedy, we're going to start
- 2:05:38with quarterback. Here we go.
- 2:05:41Jabba's going to take the. Let's see where it stops.
- 2:05:47Anybody knows? Could be anybody who thinks the
- 2:05:49$1.00 quarterback? Who is that?
- 2:05:51Justin Fields. That is Justin Fields.
- 2:05:54Just write it down real quickly for me in the chat.
- 2:05:56All right, now let's move on to his running back selection.
- 2:06:00The Jabba Wheel Selects looks like the $3 running back.
- 2:06:06Who do we got here? If he wins this, I don't have a
- 2:06:09heart attack. Yeah, that'll be something if he
- 2:06:11actually wins. This week, the second greatest
- 2:06:13upset after Nathan. 'S first $3 running back is
- 2:06:15Reese Hall, so he's staying with The Jets.
- 2:06:17The Wheel loves The Jets this week.
- 2:06:20Let's see, let's go back. That'll that'll make it even
- 2:06:22harder for Errol to give compliments the job of he wins
- 2:06:24with a bunch of jets. On I didn't.
- 2:06:27Play Carolina, too. Disappear yet?
- 2:06:31So here we go. Let's click on it again.
- 2:06:33What do we got? Here's the wheel of Jabba.
- 2:06:37Oh, he's going cheap this round for wide receiver.
- 2:06:40One for yet another dollar. Let's see who that is.
- 2:06:46Looks like Hunter Renfro. Jabba's always talked about how
- 2:06:50big of a fan he was of Renfro. It only makes sense.
- 2:06:53Here we go with the next selection staying cheap.
- 2:07:04The thrifty might save the most money since Nathan once won this
- 2:07:08game, $2.00. Who is the $2.00 player in this
- 2:07:11round? Looks like we're going to get
- 2:07:14Troy Franklin for Jabba and you know what?
- 2:07:17I think he hasn't spent any money.
- 2:07:19Does he have $5.00 left? Let's.
- 2:07:21See. So Renfro's one field 1/3.
- 2:07:24So that's 5 seven, yeah. All right, and let's give him
- 2:07:28Travis Kelsey for $5. I think that's only fair for the
- 2:07:34Jabba Wheel. The Jabba.
- 2:07:36Wins the. Jabba wins with Jets and Travis
- 2:07:39Kelsey Arrow will definitely have a hard time giving him
- 2:07:41compliments. Oh yeah, I'm not giving him any
- 2:07:44compliments after the last week. OK, the.
- 2:07:46Only thing that would have been funnier is if the gremlin was
- 2:07:49here. That's true.
- 2:07:51That is pretty funny. I mean I didn't put him in.
- 2:07:54I have used him before, but let's move on to Tommy.
- 2:07:59Scoops. OK, I'm going to go and spend
- 2:08:03$3. Mr. Jackson.
- 2:08:05Dart is coming on the team then. Big surprise here.
- 2:08:10I'm going Cam. Scataboo #2 I don't know if you
- 2:08:14guys saw that one coming. Now this is where I'm how much
- 2:08:19money do I have left? I have. 10, so you have 5, you
- 2:08:22use 5. Jackson Dart.
- 2:08:23I have $10.00 left. Yeah.
- 2:08:25So I'm going to go Sutton, Tetarola, McMillan and then Theo
- 2:08:33Johnson. All right, so I have for you
- 2:08:39Dart and Scat and Theo Johnson from the Giants, Courtney Sutton
- 2:08:44and T Mac Receiver. Broncos.
- 2:08:50I will go next. The Giants.
- 2:08:54Oh, I am not taking the Giants against the Broncos.
- 2:09:00He's hot. Let's stay with him.
- 2:09:02Paddy Mahomes for $5. I'm going to go.
- 2:09:10I think I'm going to go. I like that.
- 2:09:13Giants defense That Giants defense is tough, but.
- 2:09:19I think Reese Hall is getting every touch in this game because
- 2:09:22everyone's hurt. So I'm going to go Reese Hall
- 2:09:24for three, then I'm going to I'm going to give it to Xavier
- 2:09:31Worthy for another 3 in this game.
- 2:09:34I think he's going to get some attention taken off of him with
- 2:09:36Return of Rice. How much does that give me,
- 2:09:39Speedy? What am I at $4.00 left?
- 2:09:42Worthy we got. Mahomes, Worthy and Hall. 4
- 2:09:47left. That is 4 left.
- 2:09:48Yeah. All right, I'll go.
- 2:09:51Troy, Franklin and Tommy. Tremble.
- 2:09:55I don't think the Giants set the second.
- 2:09:56Well, you know what? I don't really like that.
- 2:09:58Do I want to pick Alan Lazard out of left field even though he
- 2:10:01has no, I have no reason or evidence that he's still good at
- 2:10:04football. And then take Evan Ingram, who
- 2:10:09is hands made of stone. This is tough.
- 2:10:15These are tough choices. I like the other combo I'm going
- 2:10:17Troy Franklin and Tommy Tremble. So my picks are Mahomes, Hall,
- 2:10:25Worthy, Franklin and Tremble. All right, Speedy PD.
- 2:10:33All right, give me Mare Rico Dowdle and Xavier Worthy.
- 2:10:37Definitely, and it leaves me with four left.
- 2:10:39This is where my dilemma is. Do I go both twos?
- 2:10:44Do I go with Fields or in Hollywood?
- 2:10:48Give me both twos, Give me Bryce Young and Franklin.
- 2:10:53Bryce and Franklin so I got Bryce Dowdle or do Dow do all
- 2:11:02something have said in the in the past worthy Franklin, it's
- 2:11:06mayor all right Errol. All right, I'm going to go.
- 2:11:15I'm going to go with Bo. I'm going to go with McMillan.
- 2:11:28I guess I would go with Breece. I will go with Worthy.
- 2:11:35How many? It's just.
- 2:11:35One left. I'll go with Theo Johnson.
- 2:11:40There you go. All right, so let me show it to
- 2:11:45you BC our winner on Monday, we'll keep the standing speedy
- 2:11:50again. Let's get a 531 second pass,
- 2:11:55third place standings because not everyone could play every
- 2:11:57week. I think it would be good to keep
- 2:11:59it that way for next time. But again, even if you do really
- 2:12:04well and it's not good enough to win, you can't complain about
- 2:12:06it. You got to save your tears.
- 2:12:08Save your tears. Breaking news.
- 2:12:10I'm putting you on a leash now. Breaking news, hot lady.
- 2:12:12By the way, I think. Kenny is on now.
- 2:12:14I don't know if you saw that, Kenny.
- 2:12:17I am a legend. Let's hear Kenny.
- 2:12:20What's up? What's up?
- 2:12:23You guys watch this game? What game?
- 2:12:27The Blue Jays and Mariners game, Yes.
- 2:12:30We are. Yes, we're watching.
- 2:12:32Kenny. What are you doing?
- 2:12:33Are you drinking? Smoking.
- 2:12:34Kenny was enjoying. His dinner.
- 2:12:36I'm having a sober night. What's wrong with having that?
- 2:12:39Oh, you're a sober night. I haven't heard from you in a
- 2:12:41while. Kenny.
- 2:12:42Have you been chasing geese, Dogs.
- 2:12:43Cats? What have you been chasing?
- 2:12:46Brandon chases girl female mind so you're.
- 2:12:50Chasing. Well, hold on one second.
- 2:12:51You're chasing squirrels now. This is a woman online, so there
- 2:12:55you go. Oh, you're chasing women online
- 2:12:57now? Well, hold on one second.
- 2:13:03So what do you say to these women when you talk to them
- 2:13:06online? I'm just talking to 1 SO.
- 2:13:08What's your name? What's your name?
- 2:13:09Let's hear it. I really have to tell your name.
- 2:13:13It's Nicole. OK, that's it.
- 2:13:14Did you tell her? Did you tell her to subscribe to
- 2:13:16your YouTube channel? What?
- 2:13:17Does she look like? What does she look like, Kenny?
- 2:13:21Lots of. Hot ladies.
- 2:13:25Age appropriate 2:30 So there you go.
- 2:13:29Well, how old are you, Teddy? 48. 48.
- 2:13:35OK, Mr. Mr. Mouth President, Don't you owe me a Yankee?
- 2:13:40Yes, I. Do actually a.
- 2:13:42Giant A Giant, not a Yankee a. Giant.
- 2:13:44Well, I think I changed it to Oh yeah, but I didn't get back to
- 2:13:49you so all. Right.
- 2:13:50I'll, I'll, I'll introduce you to Yankee.
- 2:13:52I'll introduce you to Jabba. So I'm telling why.
- 2:13:56How about why? Your current Yankee doesn't have
- 2:13:58to be anybody well known. It could be a rookie.
- 2:14:01I can sit down with a guy that just they called him.
- 2:14:04I could probably get you. I could get you Cabrera.
- 2:14:07I think I could get you Cabrera. Awesome all.
- 2:14:11Right. I think I could do that because
- 2:14:13Nathan, nothing's very close with Cabrera.
- 2:14:16You see, he goes to a lot of events with Cabrera.
- 2:14:18I could do that. That would be a significant You
- 2:14:21have the events, you have that hit that that got them the
- 2:14:25third, they got them in the playoffs, right?
- 2:14:28No El Drublo, right? How do you pronounce his name?
- 2:14:31Oswaldo. Oswaldo Oswaldo, That's right.
- 2:14:33But. Oswaldo Cabrera is the.
- 2:14:35One that used to be, that's right, that's right, I think
- 2:14:36Cabrera. Had a couple of home runs.
- 2:14:39Yeah, he was. He was the 3rd baseman for the
- 2:14:40Yankees before he, you know, his leg went early this season.
- 2:14:45He was the 3rd baseman for the Yankees.
- 2:14:48All right, What do you think? What do you think?
- 2:14:51Is that is that good for you? That is beautiful.
- 2:14:55All right. Did you, have you, have you met
- 2:14:57this girl yet? No, we're training online and
- 2:15:00then I'm I'm inviting her to a friend of a friend that's having
- 2:15:06has a Halloween party every day the next day after Halloween.
- 2:15:09All right. Hold on, hold on.
- 2:15:10What are you dressing up like? I don't know, I'm going to see.
- 2:15:14I'm going to buy my costume next week and I'm maybe a vampire.
- 2:15:17That's always sexy. No, you don't, you know, and I
- 2:15:19think, I think you should dry up like a penis.
- 2:15:22I think that would be good. I.
- 2:15:23Mean there's a lot of costumes. I'll see if they have left and
- 2:15:27I'll see if it's any good. Yeah, you buy her her costume,
- 2:15:30she could be something else. She could be a penis.
- 2:15:33Very nice Goose costume. You could be a nuts.
- 2:15:36You could be a nutsack. I've seen those costumes too.
- 2:15:38Those are pretty cool. Too The one night away women can
- 2:15:41dress like, you know, the kind of like the WH word.
- 2:15:45I'm not going to spell the rest of that.
- 2:15:46Oh. God just make sure she's a woman
- 2:15:52and not some. Yeah, I've seen some.
- 2:15:54Yeah, so. There's a lot of people.
- 2:15:56So did Matt Tateo too. He saw a lot of pictures too,
- 2:15:59but he bumped into something that didn't exist.
- 2:16:01No, don't worry, Kenny Era also thinks that.
- 2:16:03Aaron Rodgers is an imaginary girlfriend.
- 2:16:05She sent me a picture of her holding the one kid she has.
- 2:16:09I mean, yeah, that seemed pretty real.
- 2:16:12I don't think anybody would make that.
- 2:16:13Up. Did you tell her you're like 6-6
- 2:16:16and some, you know, scrawny tall guy who likes to chase geese?
- 2:16:20Did you ever tell her that? No, definitely not.
- 2:16:23You don't want to tell her that. Show her the video when you get
- 2:16:25a chance to send her that video. Daddy, you should have her dress
- 2:16:31up as a as a goose so that you can that you can catch her.
- 2:16:34Does she smoke? Would she?
- 2:16:37Would she smoke? Somewhere I'm I'm willing to
- 2:16:41give up weed smoking for the woman and to have a kid.
- 2:16:49Hold on one second, did you just say to have a kid?
- 2:16:52No, I'm saying that I would give him weed.
- 2:16:54This sort of family, I would wow this guy.
- 2:16:58This guy went from I've never. Had it.
- 2:17:01It's not like it's. Not a habit, it's your life.
- 2:17:03It's just a habit. It's not like, it's not like
- 2:17:07it's booze or cocaine. People get addicted to that
- 2:17:09stuff. It's just a habit.
- 2:17:10You can drop it anytime. Well.
- 2:17:12Thank you, Kenny. You've made me a lot stupider
- 2:17:15tonight. Thank you.
- 2:17:17What? Lessons in drug health.
- 2:17:22With Kenny and Marx, I agree with you.
- 2:17:24Seattle probably is the only one that could give the Dodgers a
- 2:17:29run for the money if they are able to.
- 2:17:32Like the Dodgers could be too powerful like they have been in
- 2:17:35the past. Well.
- 2:17:36I like this take, Kenny, I like this take.
- 2:17:39I think, I think if, if, if Seattle gets in there most
- 2:17:43likely right, I think it goes 7 and who knows who's going to win
- 2:17:48that all. Right, So, Kenny, before we let
- 2:17:50you go, I want you to try something right now.
- 2:17:53Yeah. You ready?
- 2:17:55All right, I want you to I want to, I want you to stick your
- 2:17:57thumb into very warm water. OK?
- 2:18:01Stick. It in warm.
- 2:18:02Water, yeah. And then when it gets a little
- 2:18:05warm, you take it and you. What now?
- 2:18:10Yeah, you. Stick it in warm water.
- 2:18:12Yeah, that's right. Right there, little warm water.
- 2:18:16Yeah, you got it. Yeah, wait for it to come warm.
- 2:18:22OK. All right.
- 2:18:27I'm not gonna Thunder now. Why?
- 2:18:29Why do I hear this all? Right, your fingers warm now.
- 2:18:37No, I didn't do that. OK, you didn't do it yet.
- 2:18:40Why not? Yeah, wait for it to become
- 2:18:44warm. Well.
- 2:18:45How long does it take your freaking sink?
- 2:18:46Didn't say boiling water. Don't run it.
- 2:18:51OK what? What was the point?
- 2:18:54All right, so get your thumb, get it warm.
- 2:18:56Is it warm? I have to do that right now.
- 2:18:59That's. Why I want?
- 2:19:03This theme. All right, you don't have to do
- 2:19:06it, Kenny. We love you.
- 2:19:07Thank you for calling Buddy. Good luck.
- 2:19:11Good luck on that date. OK, well, when am I going to
- 2:19:13hold on? When is Cabrera?
- 2:19:14When will that be? Before we'll do it next year
- 2:19:17before spring training. All right now.
- 2:19:22Calm down. Mr. Jabba, what day in November
- 2:19:27do you want to come on my on my well?
- 2:19:30Jabba was on your show already? On your channel, not mine, no.
- 2:19:36He was like, he was like Kenny so.
- 2:19:38You want me to come on your show?
- 2:19:41I want, I want, I want Jabba to come on show Any of the rest of
- 2:19:44you can come and we can. No, you want Jabba.
- 2:19:47I don't want to come. On your show.
- 2:19:49Goodbye, Goodbye, Kenny. Kenny, I you know, I love you,
- 2:19:56but you, you went from I want you to come on my show to you
- 2:20:00want Jabba to come on your show. Jabba was on your show.
- 2:20:02If you can remember. I don't think Jabba will be on
- 2:20:05your show again. Kenny, you just got me Dumber.
- 2:20:08OK. Thank you.
- 2:20:09See, now the real question that I have to propose, because now
- 2:20:11we brought up Nathan to Kenny. What would an event with Nathan
- 2:20:14and Kenny be like? And you, you Nathan and Kenny, I
- 2:20:18mean, that would be that would be interesting.
- 2:20:22All right, fishes Play of the week.
- 2:20:24This is what's great about sports.
- 2:20:25You play to win the game. Hello.
- 2:20:28You play to win the game. Fishes play of the wing.
- 2:20:35Wing all right guys, welcome back to fishes play of the week.
- 2:20:39I got the play of the week here for you, breaking it down not
- 2:20:43just as the most explosive play, but the best XS and OS that I
- 2:20:47saw of the week. I mean, there may have been a
- 2:20:50couple of plays that were better with XS and OS, but this play
- 2:20:53was the most impactful of the week.
- 2:20:55We already talked about it. You can see the line.
- 2:20:58This is Bijan Robinson taking this ball 80 plus yards to the
- 2:21:02house. That's the first guy that
- 2:21:04touches him to safety half the way down the field.
- 2:21:08One of the easier touchdowns he's ever going to score.
- 2:21:11Take a look at the front of the line over here and they have
- 2:21:14this kind of scheme where I don't think they, honestly, they
- 2:21:18don't draw it up very well at all.
- 2:21:20That telestrator, he doesn't know what he's looking at.
- 2:21:22He drew the different kind of scheme.
- 2:21:24It's his own play and I want to show you why this play is the
- 2:21:27play of the week. Take a look at the linebackers
- 2:21:31at the start of this play. We have a tight end wing
- 2:21:33situation or actually just a tight end off the ball situation
- 2:21:36on the far side of the field. He's going to go in motion.
- 2:21:38When he goes in motion, it's going to trigger this defensive
- 2:21:42alignment to go from a four man front to A5 man front with only
- 2:21:46one linebacker in position to stop the run.
- 2:21:49Take a look at it right there. And that's how it switches.
- 2:21:52Now you're going to have what we call A51 box right here in the
- 2:21:55run game. Except this is exactly what the
- 2:21:58coach of the Falcons knows. This is why he's calling this
- 2:22:01motion, because he knows he wants to run a zone play back at
- 2:22:05it. He doesn't have to block the
- 2:22:06edge because they know they're not rushing him.
- 2:22:08They've got it scouted, so now they have them outnumbered to
- 2:22:12the run side of the play. Take a look at it right there.
- 2:22:16He doesn't get touched in that crease at all.
- 2:22:19That is an incredible job blocking.
- 2:22:22I really like this other angle of it as well, Not because of
- 2:22:25the drawings of the guy on the screen, because these I don't
- 2:22:28think are correct. That's not where I'm impressed.
- 2:22:31I am impressed with this ace block right here, this double
- 2:22:33team between the center and that's Chris Lidstrom, the best
- 2:22:37guard in football. They're going to combo up to
- 2:22:39that linebacker and at that point, there's nothing this team
- 2:22:43can do about it when they motion.
- 2:22:45So there's that one linebacker they combo up to and it's done
- 2:22:49right there. In fact, I can go get a little
- 2:22:51bit of frame back. That hole is pretty big for the
- 2:22:53NFL. He is off to the races, doesn't
- 2:22:57get touched when you get don't get touched till the speedy that
- 2:23:00far down the field. Speedy when you find holes.
- 2:23:02The play of the week. Speedy, when you find holes, do
- 2:23:04you you know how to run through them?
- 2:23:07You don't know how to run through holes, No.
- 2:23:09So what do you do most? Of the holes I go through, I
- 2:23:13don't need to run. Well, how do you do it then?
- 2:23:20What specify a type of hole? Well, what?
- 2:23:23Specify a type of hole. Give me a hole.
- 2:23:25Do you like the Dark Ones? What do you like?
- 2:23:28Give me a. Hole.
- 2:23:30So a circular bit of air without any other context is dark?
- 2:23:35Yeah. Well, so you like dark holes.
- 2:23:37How do you know it's dark without context?
- 2:23:42So which hole do you like? Give me a type.
- 2:23:46You're not specifying anything. All right, we call this Speedy 6
- 2:23:50pack. Let's have a sensor.
- 2:23:54Hey, who wants to play Drink the Beer?
- 2:23:56It's time for the Speedy 6 pack of the week.
- 2:24:01I might need six shots to evaluate his theory on holes at
- 2:24:04this point. I need a dinner tonic.
- 2:24:10Yeah, I might need that too. And much more.
- 2:24:14Bus bug busy all day today. Glory hole all.
- 2:24:19Right, unfortunately let's it doesn't look like they're going
- 2:24:21to be able to make it tonight. Congratulations to Johnny.
- 2:24:23He's actually celebrating A promotion tonight.
- 2:24:26He might send some pics, but he's not going to be able to
- 2:24:27make it tonight. An hour.
- 2:24:28Question. What is the promotive?
- 2:24:29I am not sure but I will find out another time.
- 2:24:32But he's celebrating out tonight.
- 2:24:33But he's going to send some pics another time and Wes is dealing
- 2:24:35with his pick, his picks. So no, none of them tonight.
- 2:24:39So it'll be just us. We will start tonight with the
- 2:24:41the Eagles covering -1 1/2 against their favor by 1 1/2, I
- 2:24:47should say against the Minnesota Vikings.
- 2:24:49Pretty much a pick em game in Minnesota.
- 2:24:52I mean, no, I'm just saying the spread pretty much a pick em
- 2:24:54game. I Vikings come off a bye week
- 2:24:57defensive identity right now. I agree with what you were
- 2:25:00saying before. Errol kind of a question with
- 2:25:01how well with McCarthy playing. Addison obviously just coming
- 2:25:04back, he's playing well. The Eagles, when's the get right
- 2:25:08situation going to come for them?
- 2:25:10They have a long week to prepare against the Giants.
- 2:25:12I think this is a tight, low scoring game, but I think the
- 2:25:14Eagles do win it on the road. It's a good defense over there
- 2:25:19in Minnesota and if I'm not mistaken, they have a quite a
- 2:25:23good defensive coach over there. Who is he again?
- 2:25:26The guy that doesn't get any job offers from anybody in the NFL
- 2:25:29because he sued the NFL? Ryan Flores, Brian Flores, there
- 2:25:35we go. Flores I.
- 2:25:38Watched a clip of him doing some kind so you know how like teams
- 2:25:42will show 1 defensive look and then before the play they'll
- 2:25:45shift into a second one? They've been doing that for
- 2:25:48years right? Dating back to Peyton Manning
- 2:25:50reading them so they couldn't do it.
- 2:25:52He did the hurry up so the teams couldn't do that to him.
- 2:25:54Brian Flores is switching the defense like 3 times before the
- 2:25:57snap and it is making it almost impossible for these, especially
- 2:26:02young quarterbacks to have any clue how to face them.
- 2:26:05That being said, I don't know if he can get in Jalen Hurts his
- 2:26:08head that way. I think the Eagles are kind of
- 2:26:10going to get some revenge after this embarrassment to the Giants
- 2:26:14getting doubled up on Thursday Night Football.
- 2:26:18I'm going to take the Eagles this week.
- 2:26:20Speedy. 'S mom.
- 2:26:24All right. I got the Eagles.
- 2:26:26I think the Eagles win flat out after losing 2 Game 2 two games
- 2:26:31in a row and and falling off. I, I, I cannot see the Eagles
- 2:26:34losing 3. Last year they lost three in a
- 2:26:36row and then they went on a bye week and then they barely lost.
- 2:26:40But I, I think this is the last losing streak you see the Eagles
- 2:26:43have. I think the Eagles win this
- 2:26:45week. Saquon Barkley gets over 100
- 2:26:46yards, 2 touchdowns. Book it.
- 2:26:48All right, we'll go to the one big spread.
- 2:26:49I did mention the Raiders are plus 13 against the Chiefs.
- 2:26:54Chiefs 13 point favorites at home.
- 2:26:56I think the Raiders actually do cover this spread.
- 2:26:57I was talking about it during the whip around.
- 2:26:58Their defenses actually played pretty well.
- 2:27:00They played well against the Chargers.
- 2:27:01They played well against the Patriots in Week 1, which we've
- 2:27:03seen how well that Patriots offense has played since then.
- 2:27:06I think they do end up covering this spread like I picked with
- 2:27:08Michael Mayer for savior tears. The Chiefs have struggled
- 2:27:10against tight ends, they struggle against the run.
- 2:27:12So I think the Raiders do keep it close for a while.
- 2:27:13I think the Chiefs win by like 8 to 10 points, but I think the
- 2:27:17Raiders cover. There's two ways this game goes.
- 2:27:21One way is it becomes the last possession game and the Chiefs
- 2:27:24win because of the referees, because that's how one option
- 2:27:27every single week for the Chiefs.
- 2:27:30But the more likely option in my opinion, is that the Chiefs are
- 2:27:34just a hot team right now coming into this game and the Raiders
- 2:27:38are not very good. I think that it's going to be a
- 2:27:40little too much. Mahomes can beat even good
- 2:27:42defenses. I think this is an average
- 2:27:44defense with a really bad offense and they're going to
- 2:27:47rely on the run. If they can't stay close, how
- 2:27:51can you run the football? And I think this is a team
- 2:27:53that's not going to be able to be good playing from behind that
- 2:27:55all this season. They look for the Chiefs to go
- 2:27:58up early, maybe some trick plays in the first half to try to get
- 2:28:02an early lead and just wear on them so they can't do what they
- 2:28:05want to do and make them throw too much.
- 2:28:07And have Gino continue his league leading interceptions
- 2:28:11streak. Give me that chicken Curry.
- 2:28:14All right, ladies and gentlemen, I am going to go with the Kansas
- 2:28:18City Chiefs. I, I, there's no way the, the
- 2:28:21Raiders beat the Chiefs this week.
- 2:28:23As much as I want to see Gente, and I think Gente will have a
- 2:28:25good game. He'll have 80 yards.
- 2:28:27He'll have probably a touchdown or two.
- 2:28:30I, I just don't think they're going to beat the Kansas City
- 2:28:32Chiefs. Give me the Chiefs.
- 2:28:35All right, two of Errol's favorite teams, the Indianapolis
- 2:28:38Colts led by Danny Dimes against the LA Chargers.
- 2:28:42Chargers 1 1/2 point good game. Yes, this is going to be a good
- 2:28:44game. I think this game, the Colts
- 2:28:46defense, like I mentioned in the whip around 2 has been
- 2:28:48underrated for a while. Chargers offensive line has a
- 2:28:50lot of has had a lot of trouble and especially in the interior.
- 2:28:52Colts have a really underrated interior defensive duo with
- 2:28:55Deforest Buckner and Grover Stewart.
- 2:28:57I think the the Chargers are going to be 1 dimensional on
- 2:28:59offense and I think after LAD Mcconkey had a big week last
- 2:29:01week. I think.
- 2:29:03Shut him down. I think the Colts win a tight.
- 2:29:07Yeah, I they don't get Joel back yet.
- 2:29:10So I I really don't like the line.
- 2:29:13It's a good defense. That cold defense is good in
- 2:29:16that offense under Danny Dimes isn't making that many mistakes
- 2:29:20anyone. Look, he's streaky throwing the
- 2:29:24ball, but they don't let it make him do too much at times.
- 2:29:27It's really a Jonathan Taylor show.
- 2:29:29I expect them to wear on them. Give me the Colts.
- 2:29:31I think they win this game by a touchdown or so.
- 2:29:35Yeah, I got the Colts, absolutely.
- 2:29:40Colts I, everybody knows where I'm going.
- 2:29:42It's dime time. That's what that's what we're
- 2:29:45going to call it now. Dime time.
- 2:29:47Dime time Danny Dimes got the Colts.
- 2:29:51All right, let's go to Danny Dimes's former team, the New
- 2:29:54York Giants facing off against you, a team that Danny Dimes
- 2:29:57beat earlier in the year in the Denver Broncos.
- 2:29:59The Broncos are 7 1/2 point favorites at home.
- 2:30:02I think the Broncos, they've been one of those team that's
- 2:30:04been pretty steadily in games. I know they didn't look great
- 2:30:07last week, but I they've been close and everything.
- 2:30:09I think this is a good time for them to show out better
- 2:30:12offensively. The Giants secondary, they were
- 2:30:15good last week. Finally, can they do it again?
- 2:30:17I don't know. I think the Sean Payton can Sean
- 2:30:20Payton's offenses have always done well to lose against the
- 2:30:23giant style of defenses. I look delicious.
- 2:30:25I think Denver does cover the spreader.
- 2:30:27When the watch how I eat my straight Cheezel.
- 2:30:29That's a great defense over there in Denver.
- 2:30:32They sold your scrap, You're lug nuts.
- 2:30:35But who's stopping scat? Who's stopping scataboo?
- 2:30:41Scataboo. Every guy, Nick and you know who
- 2:30:43might win Defensive Player of the Year.
- 2:30:45I don't want to hear it. He just launched Zac Bond last
- 2:30:49year last week. Into the air multiple times,
- 2:30:53gets dusted. Jackson Dart puts a move on him,
- 2:30:55gets into the end zone. He can beat some of the best,
- 2:31:00but I can't take the Giants in this game.
- 2:31:02I it's an interesting spread though. 7 1/2 points.
- 2:31:06Can the Giants keep it? A1 possession game?
- 2:31:10No. No, I don't think they do.
- 2:31:11I think they lose by 10. Give me the Broncos.
- 2:31:15Oh, the Broncos are going to win this game.
- 2:31:17It's not even going to be close. They're going to smash the scat,
- 2:31:20the Boo Boo, scat a Boo Boo. I give me the give me the Bronx
- 2:31:25all. Right.
- 2:31:25By the way, before we get to our next game, I do have to get to
- 2:31:28Jabba's hypothetical coin flip here.
- 2:31:30So Jabba does have the Eagles in the first game.
- 2:31:33Oh. He's doing it.
- 2:31:34I'm doing Jabba's hypothetical coin flip, so.
- 2:31:37We're just picking for Jabba in the same way he would pick, I
- 2:31:40think. So he's, he's we'll.
- 2:31:42Do pin the tail on the donkey for something later.
- 2:31:44So he's got tails in both games. Safari.
- 2:31:46So he's got the Eagles and then he's got the Raiders covering
- 2:31:49Colts and Chargers. He's got the Chargers.
- 2:31:53And with this Giants, Broncos game to round it out, he's got
- 2:31:59tails. So he's got he's got the Giants
- 2:32:02covering. Smart man.
- 2:32:04All right, so we'll do the Packers 6 1/2 point favorites at
- 2:32:09the Cardinals. I actually think the Cardinals
- 2:32:12cover this spread because their defense has played very well.
- 2:32:14The Packers offensive line I've mentioned has given trouble.
- 2:32:16We talked about Errol earlier in the segment.
- 2:32:17The Packers quality of play this year really has not been great.
- 2:32:21Arizona might not be without Marvin Harrison junior, but
- 2:32:23we've seen them do well, try to patch the injuries together at
- 2:32:26certain points. So I do think with the Packers
- 2:32:28defense that is struggling, I think Arizona can keep it close
- 2:32:30and their defense has still kept them in game.
- 2:32:32I think Green Bay wins the game, but I do think Arizona covers.
- 2:32:36Are we getting the Brissett again or is it Kyler Murray
- 2:32:40back? Want so does a bit.
- 2:32:41It looks like it looks like Kyler Murray hasn't practiced
- 2:32:43yet, but I don't think there's any.
- 2:32:45Decoration. He tastes himself.
- 2:32:47Well, I think the Cardinals will just kind of hope Kyler Murray
- 2:32:50keeps playing some more Call of Duty and misses this much pain
- 2:32:54because they look better without him than they looked with him
- 2:32:57all year last week. But Jacoby Brissett, I think, is
- 2:33:00going to keep that game close. If he always gave up the booty.
- 2:33:04I don't know. I think they're going to go with
- 2:33:05Brissett, give me the Cardinals to keep it close.
- 2:33:08I still think this is one of those games where.
- 2:33:10Another TOE job. But the Packers are going to
- 2:33:12win. I think it's going to be like a
- 2:33:14three or four point game. Like the streaks in my britches.
- 2:33:20I got the Packers. I got the Packers.
- 2:33:24All right, so the coin Java. As long as she's using.
- 2:33:29Wheel I can take care. Of Java's got, Java's got
- 2:33:32Arizona covering this one all right.
- 2:33:34We'll round it out with. The Java Wheel.
- 2:33:36Yep, and Monday, Monday night the Buccaneers are at the Lions.
- 2:33:39The Lions are 5 1/2 points favorite.
- 2:33:41I am not taking that spread for the Lions.
- 2:33:43Let's see, that's been banged up.
- 2:33:45Tampa's got AI mean their offensive line is banged up too.
- 2:33:47They still have a pretty good offensive line.
- 2:33:49It's in. Detroit.
- 2:33:50It's in Detroit. Detroit's defensive line
- 2:33:53obviously has to just play very well, but the rest of it's still
- 2:33:55kind of finding their groove here.
- 2:33:57Tampa can stop the run. They've been notoriously great
- 2:33:59to stop in the run for a while. So I do think the Lions win this
- 2:34:02game, but it's going to be very close.
- 2:34:04I'm taking Tampa to cover the spread.
- 2:34:07I think Sterling Shepherd is the number one receiver for the
- 2:34:11Tampa Bay this game if I'm not mistaken.
- 2:34:14It's it's looking real hairy over there at receiver.
- 2:34:19I don't know Bucky Irving's playing either.
- 2:34:21They are really depleted. That being said, who's doubting
- 2:34:25Baker Mayfield right now? I'm not me.
- 2:34:30I think they can still win this game.
- 2:34:31So you'd give me that many points.
- 2:34:34I'm taking the Bucks. I'd take shit.
- 2:34:39Does he listen to his picks while he's taking a shit?
- 2:34:41That's the real question. I'm, I'm going with the Detroit
- 2:34:44Lions. There's no way they lose, lose
- 2:34:46another one. I, I, I don't, I don't think
- 2:34:48they're going to be able to run the ball as much, but I expect
- 2:34:51them, I expect St. Brown to have a big game.
- 2:34:54I think that this team at home, the fans are going to be loud.
- 2:34:57I think they're going to be able to beat Baker Mayfield and
- 2:35:00those. What about skid mark?
- 2:35:02Those skid marks so. And Java took the bucks to cover
- 2:35:07thread 5 1/2. That went over like a Fardon
- 2:35:09church, like a. Serial killer, like a serial
- 2:35:14killer. All right, that is our picks or
- 2:35:18Speedy's Picks of the week. By the way, who's in the lead
- 2:35:20here? It is still you at the moment.
- 2:35:22I fish and I both had the biggest weeks but it's still you
- 2:35:26at the moment. Fish and I went five and one
- 2:35:29last week. You went four and two, but
- 2:35:30you're still in the lead right now.
- 2:35:32Big day. That's pretty good.
- 2:35:34I knew I had a good week last week.
- 2:35:36Cactus for sure. Cactus Smack.
- 2:35:38That's what they should call me. Cactus Jack the best.
- 2:35:41Yeah, no, no, go. Cactus Smack.
- 2:35:43That's what they call me anyways.
- 2:35:44You know I don't want to smack anybody's ass anyway.
- 2:35:46Sports Minute, we got a lot more to go.
- 2:35:48We got This is the mix, This is the remix.
- 2:35:50Tic Tac. No.
- 2:35:51And what's that smell? Let's go to break.
- 2:35:55This is the Jabba and the Mouth Sportsman ads.
- 2:36:00All right guys, Aaron Fishman here with your sportsman.
- 2:36:03I've got a couple of more stories before we finish up with
- 2:36:05the scores this evening. In sad news, ex Jetstar center
- 2:36:09Nick Mangold took to social media in an appeal to save his
- 2:36:13life. Mangold apparently has been
- 2:36:15living with a genetic condition related to his kidneys and is in
- 2:36:18dire need of a kidney replacement.
- 2:36:20This isn't an easy message to share, but I want to be open
- 2:36:23about what's been happening with me and my health.
- 2:36:26I always knew this day would come, but I thought I would have
- 2:36:28more time. Unfortunately, I do not have any
- 2:36:30family able to donate this time. So This is why I'm reaching out
- 2:36:33to you, our New York Jets community.
- 2:36:35I am in need of a kidney donor with type O blood.
- 2:36:39If you are willing to find out if you could be a match and
- 2:36:41donate a kidney to me, please go to
- 2:36:43thissitecolumbiasurgery.org/kidney Hyphen Transplant and click the
- 2:36:48link to indicate I want to donate my kidney.
- 2:36:51Use my full name Nicholas Mangled and my birthday 1/13/84.
- 2:36:56I'm deeply grateful to anyone that would consider donating.
- 2:36:59This situation has reminded me how lucky I am to have such an
- 2:37:02amazing family, friends, and community behind me.
- 2:37:06If you or someone you know may be able to help The Jets Ring of
- 2:37:08Honor member, that's how and best witches and prayers to
- 2:37:12Mangled in his battle with his health condition and we may have
- 2:37:17a new all time tallest player in the NBA and it's someone who
- 2:37:20apparently was lying about his height that's already in the
- 2:37:22league and winning awards. Yes, Spurs third year center
- 2:37:26Victor Wenban Yama is apparently close to 7 foot 7 inches tall.
- 2:37:31He was listed at 7 three as a rookie, but that was a lie.
- 2:37:34ESPN Brian Windhorst told Boban Marjanovic on Monday's NBA
- 2:37:38today. He was not 7 three.
- 2:37:40I believe he was actually about 75.
- 2:37:42He's now listed at 75. Bobon.
- 2:37:44I think he might be approaching 77 unofficially on the paper,
- 2:37:48I'm taller, Marjanovic wrote responded Said he was looking up
- 2:37:52at Wemby. I saw 7-3.
- 2:37:54I'm 74, but I'm looking at him and I was like, no way I'm
- 2:37:57taller than him. Coming from Bobon, who might
- 2:37:59have been out athleted by many in the NBA and in that John Wick
- 2:38:03movie where John Wick takes him out after a long fight but was
- 2:38:06rarely rarely was he ever smaller than anyone he faced.
- 2:38:10You have to consider the implication that although Wemby
- 2:38:12missed a large part of last season with a dangerous blood
- 2:38:14clot blood clot, he may have actually gotten taller and maybe
- 2:38:19even more of a cheat code than ever before in his return this
- 2:38:22season with the Spurs team that features a lot of real young
- 2:38:26talent surrounding the Frenchman guys.

- 2:40:57And now, ladies and gentlemen, somebody needs to shake it
- 2:41:00because we're going to call this This is the remix and not the.
- 2:41:06This is the remix. What a threesome.
- 2:41:12Let's go for it. All right guys, welcome to this.
- 2:41:16Is the remix going to take an old take of Arrows and give him
- 2:41:22a chance to hit the remix on? It.
- 2:41:26Here we go. We're going to play it real
- 2:41:28quickly for everybody right now. Once it's done, Tommy, you can
- 2:41:32flip to the remix song of it and Errol will give his chance for a
- 2:41:36second take a retake. A remix.
- 2:41:40This is the remix. Success piece that The Jets have
- 2:41:47needed over the last ten seasons when it comes to quarterback
- 2:41:50play. Justin Fields showed you why The
- 2:41:53Jets decided and why Aaron Glenn before he took this job, said
- 2:41:56you're going to go after this guy.
- 2:41:57Before The Jets announced that Aaron Glenn was going to be the
- 2:42:02head coach of the New York Football Jets, I told everybody
- 2:42:05that when free agency opens up, the first guy The Jets are going
- 2:42:08to sign is Justin Fields. Quarterbacks can move inside and
- 2:42:15out of the pocket. It opens up the field for the
- 2:42:17running backs. You saw Breeze Hall and what he
- 2:42:19did in his first game. 21 carriers for 100 yards and
- 2:42:23dominated the line of scrimmage. You see the connection he has
- 2:42:26with Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson had 9 catches for
- 2:42:29over 100 yards and a touchdown. You see the difference when you
- 2:42:32have a player like Garrett Wilson who just got $30 million
- 2:42:35in the offseason, is one of the top five highest paid wide
- 2:42:38receivers in the league. Wanted a guy like Justin Fields,
- 2:42:41throwing him the ball and making the move the way The Jets did in
- 2:42:44the offseason, bringing him in. All right, Errol Marx, here it
- 2:42:48is. This is.
- 2:42:50The remix, Well, here's the thing.
- 2:42:53I know everybody's going to sit here and they're going to tell
- 2:42:54me you were wrong about Justin Fields.
- 2:42:58I wasn't wrong about Justin Fields.
- 2:42:59Justin Fields was a mobile quarterback that if he could
- 2:43:03figure out how to throw in the pocket, he was going to be
- 2:43:06efficient. Now he has been efficient to
- 2:43:10Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson's having his best
- 2:43:13career year. Yes, he got his money, but he
- 2:43:16also has this quarterback that he played with in at Ohio State.
- 2:43:19So I was right about that. What I was wrong about is that
- 2:43:22Justin Fields has not been the guy that I thought he was going
- 2:43:25to be in a full season. Now it's been six games.
- 2:43:28He almost lost his job last week.
- 2:43:31A lot of people believe that Aaron Glenn should have pulled
- 2:43:34him out of the game, especially in the second-half.
- 2:43:36He was a negative in throwing practically 3/4 of the game.
- 2:43:41It it was horrible to watch. And again, he's just hasn't been
- 2:43:44efficient. Now you have a rookie coach and
- 2:43:47you have a rookie, you know, offensive coordinator, you
- 2:43:49obviously have put in a bad position and and a position to
- 2:43:52fail. You would have thought that The
- 2:43:54Jets were going to run the ball, run the ball, run the ball.
- 2:43:56They haven't done that. They lost they they lost one of
- 2:44:00their top running backs early and now Breece Hall is up for a
- 2:44:04contract year and and again, he's been up and down too.
- 2:44:07So they haven't had enough enough secondary offense to
- 2:44:11really help Justin Fields, but he's not going to be here next
- 2:44:14year. It seems like that's where The
- 2:44:15Jets are going to the quarterback, going to the
- 2:44:18quarterback again in the draft and they could be drafting at
- 2:44:211-2 or three and and they're going to get one of them.
- 2:44:23So unfortunately, I wasn't fully right about Justin Fields this
- 2:44:27year. It hasn't looked good.
- 2:44:28Maybe it'll change, probably not.
- 2:44:32And there it is. This is the remix.
- 2:44:36Yeah, it's been, it's been hard to watch.
- 2:44:39The Jets have been hard to watch.
- 2:44:40It really has been. But I've been, my eyes have been
- 2:44:43wide open and then absolutely shut.
- 2:44:46Tic Tac. No Tic Tac.
- 2:44:50Morris right in the butt. We get the.
- 2:44:53Prizes cheap because they've stolen.
- 2:44:56No. No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 2:45:04Another tow job that went over like a fart in church.
- 2:45:10I don't have any questions about farts in church, unfortunately.
- 2:45:12Go suck on an egg and and. Yes, I I would rather not suck
- 2:45:17on an egg. I had to take a shit.
- 2:45:20Speedy, we need to get some more dancing of you.
- 2:45:23Sometimes I sit on it. Update the graphic because it's
- 2:45:26it is one of my favorite graphics of all time.
- 2:45:29I think I do need some more dancing in new.
- 2:45:32Orleans diarrhea down their leg. I I may have some other videos
- 2:45:35of speedy, but I want updated. I want new current videos.
- 2:45:41Errol, we got to get that going on the next, you know, live
- 2:45:44thing we do. We need to get speedy.
- 2:45:45Dancing with some of our fans if you.
- 2:45:48Want. Yeah.
- 2:45:48Jared. Jared just came back.
- 2:45:50Jared, you're just driving away from where would you say you
- 2:45:53were in one of the Carolinas or something?
- 2:45:56Charlotte, I just got back from an 11 and 1/2 hour drive just
- 2:45:59now so. I'm feeling nice.
- 2:46:02Help us with some trivia while your while your brain is
- 2:46:05completely fried that. Way.
- 2:46:08That's why you sent me a that's why you sent me a video at 4:30
- 2:46:11AM. It was a layover for.
- 2:46:12You. No.
- 2:46:13That's why I was editing at 4:00 and 5:00 AM.
- 2:46:17You want my cream pie? No, I don't.
- 2:46:18Droba is not an athlete. No, I don't want your cream pie.
- 2:46:21All right, let's go to the question based on the Thursday
- 2:46:26Night Football game. So Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco
- 2:46:29are facing off Roba, 40 year old quarterback.
- 2:46:32Droba. There's only two other
- 2:46:34quarterbacks that faced off against each other, and they did
- 2:46:37it three times in the same season.
- 2:46:39Who are these two quarterbacks, Drew?
- 2:46:40Brees, Brady and Brees. Yeah.
- 2:46:42Brady and Drew. Brees, the Saints fan, gets it
- 2:46:44right. Yep, I remember those games.
- 2:46:48All right, Jared, do you want the Nick Goody character piece?
- 2:46:53Play with my pickle. Thin blue blazer.
- 2:46:56I gotta take this. Yeah, I take the blazer.
- 2:46:59The blue blazer is clearly the pick.
- 2:47:02It's like taking the shoe in Monopoly.
- 2:47:05Where you going? Dodger.
- 2:47:09Or the Nitha Maniac who is back from South Africa sent us all
- 2:47:14these cool pictures of like cheetahs and lions and stuff.
- 2:47:18You definitely have to get on a different Safari graphic.
- 2:47:20Titties, titties, titties. Can I touch it?
- 2:47:25Next question, Speedy? If you want to touch wild
- 2:47:28animals I don't think you'll survive unless you're leashes.
- 2:47:30That's but kooch. Towers, can I touch it?
- 2:47:32All right, Kooch, let's go to some NBA.
- 2:47:34So obviously we've been talking about Giannis a lot in in these
- 2:47:37trade rumors. So he's one of many players that
- 2:47:40were drafted out of college at 18 years old, but only one other
- 2:47:44active player was drafted out of college at 18 years old and was
- 2:47:49an All Star. Who is this player?
- 2:47:51What say that again? So the only active player
- 2:47:53outside of Giannis that was drafted out of college?
- 2:47:56Wow, Jared's on a roll tonight. All right.
- 2:47:59Oh, look at. That I'm wired.
- 2:48:01Wow. Wow, he's doing it.
- 2:48:04Can I touch it Dildo Can I touch it?
- 2:48:06Fire. That's crazy.
- 2:48:07Maybe. It's by Nathan Can touching it,
- 2:48:09you know. Maybe it's got to be the Nathan
- 2:48:11P game piece. Where are we going, Jared?
- 2:48:13Touch it to my dog. Bottom, left, right.
- 2:48:18Here we go. All right, Speedy, you're going
- 2:48:21to have to do more. Jared's here to save the day.
- 2:48:24Jared, can you get a clean sweep?
- 2:48:25That would be might be the. First time we've ever.
- 2:48:28Had one. All right, so we're going to
- 2:48:31have to go somewhere we haven't gone in a while and that is into
- 2:48:34some college basketball. Rest in peace to Sister Jean.
- 2:48:37Obviously the the none alongside the loyalist Chicago sideline
- 2:48:40for their Final Four run. I had them in the Sweet 16 last
- 2:48:43year, that year, so I was actually very fun.
- 2:48:45And 11 seated Final Four. So you'll get multiple guesses.
- 2:48:47You get 2 guesses each for this one named two out of the four
- 2:48:49teams they beat in that Final Four run.
- 2:48:55Wasn't one of them Ohio State? No, damn they the last year they
- 2:48:59made the tournament, they lost to Ohio State in 2022.
- 2:49:05You said we get 2 guesses though, yes?
- 2:49:06You guys get 2 guesses each because there's four.
- 2:49:07So who's? The the Baylor.
- 2:49:11Was not Baylor. Kentucky.
- 2:49:15Nope. You caught.
- 2:49:17No. USC.
- 2:49:20Was not USC so Jared you got one more guess fish I think you got
- 2:49:24one more guess and Tom is that one more guess I'm.
- 2:49:26Gonna just say it's got out of the way.
- 2:49:27I don't know. Goba, Florida.
- 2:49:29No. How about Joba?
- 2:49:32I don't know if a joba university, but if you want to
- 2:49:34create one, go add. Illinois job.
- 2:49:38I liked my shrimp cocktail. No, but they did beat Illinois
- 2:49:40in 2021. That was that in state rivalry.
- 2:49:42They were. Illinois was a one seed.
- 2:49:44They upset them. Yeah, I remember that one.
- 2:49:47All right, it's going to be a random.
- 2:49:50Is that gumpy old man? They were the 11 a six seed
- 2:49:56feels like. ACC.
- 2:49:58Range. There is one ACC team in this.
- 2:50:02Group. I see your sex part, Florida
- 2:50:05State. No.
- 2:50:08It was not barely hair so I don't even think.
- 2:50:10I don't think it matters if feral answers because isn't.
- 2:50:13No, I already guessed twice anyway, never mind.
- 2:50:15All right, so it was actually Florida States rival.
- 2:50:17Miami was the first team and the second team.
- 2:50:21This is this is actually the first bet I ever won in this
- 2:50:23network. The second team was Maddie Capps
- 2:50:26was betting Tennessee, I think to go to the finals that year
- 2:50:29and it was Tennessee. They beat the three seed.
- 2:50:31Then it was Nevada, Johnny Reno's team and Kansas State was
- 2:50:35the last one in the US eight. That was an 11 versus 9A
- 2:50:38matchup. Wild Speedy.
- 2:50:41I'm assuming you're going for the block here.
- 2:50:43Absolutely. All right.
- 2:50:44Next question. All right, let's go to some
- 2:50:46hockey here. So the New York Rangers I
- 2:50:49surpassed the NHL record of three straight shutouts at home
- 2:50:53to open up the season. It's cold.
- 2:50:55They suck. And the previous record was
- 2:50:58broken by the 2001, 2002 Florida Panthers, who oddly enough fired
- 2:51:03their coach that season and hired somebody that also was a
- 2:51:06New York Rangers head coach at some point.
- 2:51:08Name this coach. The guy with the curly blunt,
- 2:51:12The curly hair. Oh, I know exactly.
- 2:51:16Who it is curly hair. No, like Reese got like really
- 2:51:19curly. Hair.
- 2:51:20What was it, 2001? The 2001 2002 Florida Panthers
- 2:51:23hired a coach that was A at one point a New York Rangers head
- 2:51:26coach. Oh.
- 2:51:29Shoot. Oh my gosh, I can picture him.
- 2:51:42I'm thinking it's a long time ago. 2001 Ranger Coach I.
- 2:51:53Can't think of his name. And who is he coach?
- 2:51:56He coached the 2001, 2002 Florida Panthers and he was at
- 2:52:00one point a New York Rangers head coach.
- 2:52:02And we're 2 1001, 2002 Florida Panthers head coach.
- 2:52:16I'm a little lost here. Yeah.
- 2:52:20I'm so close to getting his name.
- 2:52:21I. Definitely don't know it.
- 2:52:24I got no earthly idea. Once you tell me, I'll know who
- 2:52:26it is. It's really coming out of fish.
- 2:52:30Fish is struggling over there. Oh, my God, look at his face.
- 2:52:36All right, fine. I'm not.
- 2:52:36Going to be able to do it under pressure 3.
- 2:52:38Not going to be able to do it. Go ahead, sweetie.
- 2:52:42Well, you guys are going to kick yourselves because that's the
- 2:52:44one that won their last Stanley Cup in Mike Keenan.
- 2:52:46Oh, I wasn't going to guess that.
- 2:52:48So it's all right then. Mike Keenan was really there for
- 2:52:51you? Yeah.
- 2:52:52He was, yeah. He.
- 2:52:53Was so they fired their first coach after he was like 6 and 15
- 2:52:56to start the year and then Keenan got hired mid.
- 2:52:58He was Mike. Keenan and then I think he
- 2:53:00stayed one more year and then he was.
- 2:53:01A year and a half. Right, that's what I meant.
- 2:53:03He's like, I think he stepped away after that, remember?
- 2:53:06All right, Speedy, where are we going?
- 2:53:07Let's go bottom, bottom right. All right, here we go.
- 2:53:14Next question. All right, so let's go to
- 2:53:16college football here. James Franklin, before he
- 2:53:18coached at Penn State, coached at Vanderbilt, where his
- 2:53:21starting quarterback was the was the younger brother of what
- 2:53:24veteran NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
- 2:53:28And Derek gets that. Wow.
- 2:53:29I was not going to get that. I don't even know.
- 2:53:31Wow. Wow.
- 2:53:34Jordan Rodgers? Yes.
- 2:53:36Look at this guy. James Frank was his coach.
- 2:53:37Head into that. Driving actually helps.
- 2:53:39He coached his first three years at Vanderbilt.
- 2:53:41They actually had two, nine win seasons.
- 2:53:43Then Vanderbilt like went to a pitfall after that.
- 2:53:46Assuming you're going to drive the block 10 hours.
- 2:53:48Daily lives beneficial all. Right.
- 2:53:52We're coming down to it. Speedy next question.
- 2:53:56All right, let's go. Let's go to some baseball here.
- 2:53:58So Dan Wilson was the catcher for the Mariners the last time
- 2:54:02they were in the ASCs in 2001. What recently fired manager in
- 2:54:05the National League was the 3rd baseman on that team.
- 2:54:15Fired in. He was fired last season at the
- 2:54:17end of last season from the from a National League team and he
- 2:54:21used to be a player third baseman.
- 2:54:33Oh my God. Say it one more time, Speedy
- 2:54:412001. What team?
- 2:54:43So he was on the 2001 Mariners. He was the starting third
- 2:54:46baseman that year. He was a manager on a team that
- 2:54:51fired him at the end of last season, a National League team
- 2:54:55I. Don't know why this name keeps
- 2:54:56popping in my head. I don't even know if he was a
- 2:54:57manager like Miguel Cairo or something like.
- 2:55:01That no, it was not him. That's a good guess though.
- 2:55:03He took over as the interim manager with the Nationals this
- 2:55:05year. Damn it, that is a good guess
- 2:55:08though. He played, even played mostly
- 2:55:10second, but some third. Yeah.
- 2:55:20Give me another hint so I can. He also played later with the
- 2:55:23Phillies. He was not on the World Series
- 2:55:26team he but he played a few years before that with.
- 2:55:30He played third base. Yep, he was the 3rd baseman with
- 2:55:32Rollins Otley and Ryan Howard before.
- 2:55:36And it was the starter. He was the starter not on the
- 2:55:38World Series team a couple of years before that, when they
- 2:55:40were consistently a playoff team.
- 2:55:42Before that, too, Pedro Feliz was the starting third baseman
- 2:55:44on that team. I'm going to take a guess, but
- 2:55:47I'll let everybody guess 1st. I'm going to take a guess.
- 2:55:51I'm going to, but I'll wait until everybody I have anybody.
- 2:55:58I cannot. I cannot.
- 2:55:59Remember I I don't got it. All right, I'm going to think
- 2:56:03here. I'm going to say David Bell, you
- 2:56:09got it. Very good.
- 2:56:10Wow. Very good.
- 2:56:13He was fired from the Reds last year after I think four years
- 2:56:16managing them. Very good all.
- 2:56:20Right, that's it. That'll be enough.
- 2:56:22That's. The win.
- 2:56:23For the win, here it is. We get to draw our victory line
- 2:56:28across. By the way, that was a guess.
- 2:56:30It's a good question. Creaming involving people's
- 2:56:33faces. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 2:56:36last segment of the night we call this.
- 2:56:38What's that smell? Hold up, what is that smell?
- 2:56:43What's that? Smell.
- 2:56:49Wow, you don't see that every day.
- 2:56:51Freaking bareback. Bareback.
- 2:56:56I remember that. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 2:56:58it's pretty simple. What we're going to do is we do
- 2:57:01this every single week. We go around and everybody tells
- 2:57:05you a story and tells you what it smells like.
- 2:57:07This week, we're going to go poopy.
- 2:57:09We're going to go with Tommy Poops.
- 2:57:12Then we're going to go with Fish.
- 2:57:13We're going to go with Jarrett, We're going to go with Speedy,
- 2:57:15We're going to go with me. Here we go.
- 2:57:16All right, getting some music going right now.
- 2:57:19Let's go Jiggett creaming involving people's face.
- 2:57:22All right, over the weekend, we will all watch some football.
- 2:57:24Of course, we saw two on the Dolphins make a heroic or at
- 2:57:28least a valiant try to try to come back against the Chargers
- 2:57:31and failed miserably. Made them drop to 1:00 and 5:00.
- 2:57:34Where after the Game 2 actually had some comments to say
- 2:57:37questioning his team's leadership, saying that the
- 2:57:39team's certain leaders aren't going to certain player only
- 2:57:42meetings. Really throwing his guys under
- 2:57:44the bus. However, even his teammate, a
- 2:57:48former teammate I should say Deshaun Hamilton, actually even
- 2:57:51came out calling to a hypocrite saying that his tenure there
- 2:57:56with the team, Tua was not as responsible and was late to a
- 2:57:59couple meetings as well. Tua then also walked back his
- 2:58:02comments and apologized today during a press conference and
- 2:58:07actually was saying how he talks to his guys all the time.
- 2:58:10Teammates constantly try to talk to each other and that they want
- 2:58:13to be on the same page after falling down to one in five and
- 2:58:17even a former, even a fellow teammate as well a fellow
- 2:58:21teammate running back on the team said that nothing should be
- 2:58:23brought outside of the building. Honestly, it's somewhat looks
- 2:58:26like a pretty bad look for their starting quarterback to throw
- 2:58:29certain guys under the bus. So now what does it smell like?
- 2:58:32Smells like a Dolphin's anus in the hot Miami sun after another
- 2:58:36Dolphins loss. So there we go, a Dolphins anus.
- 2:58:39Do they have anus? Do they have anuses?
- 2:58:41Are they? Most definitely.
- 2:58:42Do they? Probably do.
- 2:58:44They're mammals, I would say. I'm not a scientist, Errol.
- 2:58:48I would probably, yes. I would assume so.
- 2:58:51So, yeah. Interesting.
- 2:58:52That dolphin, Well, in those places, they're usually full of
- 2:58:56crap. And so are the NFL.
- 2:58:58For this one, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Lions 30 to 17
- 2:59:03Sunday in a game where they were penalized 0 times.
- 2:59:09Yes, there were a lot of people complaining after the game that
- 2:59:12the Chiefs may have gotten unfair preferential treatment.
- 2:59:15One of the players not complaining, I'm on Ross St.
- 2:59:18Brown. The last thing any team should
- 2:59:20do is blame the refs for a loss, said on his podcast.
- 2:59:23I feel like it's never up to the refs.
- 2:59:25You can never leave it up to them.
- 2:59:26Some fans feel like we got robbed.
- 2:59:27I don't think we got robbed. I feel like we had plenty of
- 2:59:30plays. I had plays to make a blah blah
- 2:59:32blah. It's not the refs fault, even
- 2:59:34though they screwed us, blah blah blah and so on and so forth
- 2:59:37that you've heard from every athlete ever, every coach out
- 2:59:40there ever. But guess what?
- 2:59:42A week ago the Chiefs are. Two weeks ago the Chiefs were
- 2:59:45penalized 13 times against the Jaguars.
- 2:59:48Then a week later they are penalized 0 times.
- 2:59:52That does not make any sense. I'm not usually the conspiracy
- 2:59:56theory guy for the NFL. It's hard not to smell a rat in
- 3:00:01this one. And the rat is the stinking NFL.
- 3:00:05No, it's Swifty's ass. Oh, man.
- 3:00:13All right. Jared, are you frozen?
- 3:00:15You're happy to see me. Am I?
- 3:00:18You might be, but that's OK. Tell us, what's your smell?
- 3:00:20Still hear you? Yeah, this will be This is very
- 3:00:23personal to my my trip today. It was an 11 and 1/2 hour drive
- 3:00:27from Charlotte to Memphis. It should have been a 10 hour
- 3:00:29drive. However, when we were in the
- 3:00:32Smoky Mountains it goes into a 2 lane Rd.
- 3:00:36For some reason the entire lane of traffic was blocked off for
- 3:00:40an entire mile stretch backing us up for an entire hour.
- 3:00:44We got there and at the side of the road the work is not being
- 3:00:47done on the road. It is being done a like 5 feet
- 3:00:50off the road and they still are blocking up a mile of traffic.
- 3:00:55On one whole on. Half the road and just letting
- 3:00:59cars pass and this took 45 minutes to get through and am I
- 3:01:04angry about it now and probably will forget about it in like 10
- 3:01:07minutes? Yes 100%.
- 3:01:10Am I just delirious? Yes, but it just smells like the
- 3:01:15rotting carcass of a skunk under the Tennessee sun on a October
- 3:01:2215th day, because that was also going on at the same time.
- 3:01:25There was a skunk right outside our window it.
- 3:01:28Would be dead, no? You probably wish they were
- 3:01:30dead, then they wouldn't have to spray.
- 3:01:32With any of you. All right, my, what's that
- 3:01:35smell? Hold on one second before you
- 3:01:36go, speedy. I just looked it up.
- 3:01:38Dolphins do in fact have an anus.
- 3:01:41So there we go. Oh good.
- 3:01:43Doesn't matter what it is. Niffen a love that he does like
- 3:01:46his anal he can. Clean themselves.
- 3:01:50All right, my, what's that smell?
- 3:01:51A little bit of thing to do with Monday Night Football, more on
- 3:01:54the quarterback and former quarterback angle, and that is
- 3:01:57Troy Aikman taking shots at Caleb Williams.
- 3:02:01There was a whole few because the usual broadcast meetings
- 3:02:04that these broadcasters have with the quarterbacks and some
- 3:02:07of the other players on the team during the broadcaster obviously
- 3:02:10roasted that kind of thing with all our Brady talk that we've
- 3:02:12been having. And Troy Aikman did not answer
- 3:02:14the call. And then Troy Aikman was blaming
- 3:02:17Caleb Williams for that and Caleb was taking shots him after
- 3:02:21the game and saying, oh, you're the one that didn't call me.
- 3:02:23And then Troy Aikman during the broadcast there was obviously
- 3:02:27we're on mute. So we were watching it on mute
- 3:02:28that we didn't know, but apparently was being more
- 3:02:30critical of Caleb Williams than he usually is.
- 3:02:32When he broadcasted the game in Week 1, he was giving Caleb
- 3:02:35Williams high praise. And this time he was being a
- 3:02:36little more critical, even though he had a better game in
- 3:02:38this game than he did in Week 1. So a little bit of a going on
- 3:02:43from a pretty biased broadcaster and a number one pick franchise
- 3:02:46quarterback. What does that smell like?
- 3:02:48It smells like 11 bears bears eating some Texas BBQ then going
- 3:02:53on Jerry Jones's golf course and taking his shits.
- 3:02:55Blood, blood. I'm not doing anything.
- 3:02:59Tag team 11 bears going on eating Texas BBQ going on Jerry
- 3:03:04Jones golf course and all taking shits.
- 3:03:06I want to pull jobless panties down.
- 3:03:08Wow. All right, the final what's that
- 3:03:12smell goes to? Why not the gremlin himself?
- 3:03:16Another idiotic thing just another moron would do.
- 3:03:20Ladies and gentlemen, Jacksonville Jaguars Week 6
- 3:03:23match up against the Seahawks embarked on Travis Hunters new
- 3:03:27life changing event. Hours before the Jaguars Sundays
- 3:03:31afternoon game, Hunter was baptized at a celebration church
- 3:03:35in Jacksonville, FL. The two way star, yeah boy away
- 3:03:39not star who plays wide receiver in defensive back said he was
- 3:03:43planning and and he's been planning on taking part and then
- 3:03:47on this event sometime it's Sunday, it's God's day.
- 3:03:51I've been planning to do this and being baptized minutes
- 3:03:55before the game. What does that smell?
- 3:03:58Well, he could be baptized. He can pray to God.
- 3:04:01He can get on his hands and knees and speak to Jesus.
- 3:04:04It's not going to change the season he is having.
- 3:04:07You know what it smells like? It smells like a Jaguar taking a
- 3:04:10dump and wiping it on his face. OK, that's all I'm going to say
- 3:04:14about that. What a crap, crap thing to do.
- 3:04:18I mean honestly and I I can't stand this man, but him just
- 3:04:24going out there and doing stupid things week in and week out
- 3:04:28doesn't make himself look good. He had 4/4 catches for 15 yards.
- 3:04:34Think about that. 4 catches for 15 yards.
- 3:04:39And this is the same Jaguar team that moved from 5:00 to 2:00 and
- 3:04:43gave up a significant amount to do that.
- 3:04:45They gave up first round talent to move up to get him.
- 3:04:51Makes no sense. So shameful, as we all know, you
- 3:04:56know, Jared, I, I, I mean, I feel bad for you, man, but I, I
- 3:04:58deal with that every single day of my life.
- 3:05:01So I know all about it. I know all about it.
- 3:05:04I know all about the traffic. New York traffic is not
- 3:05:07something to sniff about, and you don't want to be anywhere
- 3:05:11close to the highways. By the way, what is Jabba doing
- 3:05:13today? Is he sleeping?
- 3:05:15Is he watching? He didn't poke his little turtle
- 3:05:17head open on this show at all. I got the bubble gum.
- 3:05:20He's probably taking a dump. I had to take a shit.
- 3:05:23Or he's tasting. Himself, he tastes himself.
- 3:05:25Who knows what he's doing, but. I know he was commenting about,
- 3:05:28you know, being top of the show. He was he was texting that you
- 3:05:32know, when you were talking about how you lost weight, but
- 3:05:34before you weren't you were saying that you weren't fat
- 3:05:36before you you said meaty or or big boned, I think was the
- 3:05:43phrase I. Wasn't like that.
- 3:05:48No, I wasn't like that. You made him a South Park
- 3:05:50version. This is great.
- 3:05:52I was not like that. By the way, I actually am in
- 3:05:58great shape, and even at 2:30 I was in really, really good
- 3:06:01shape. I just needed to cut down some
- 3:06:03sugars because my A1C was high and I don't want to die and.
- 3:06:08I that's great. You got it under 6, right?
- 3:06:10Under 5.55 point 5. That's great.
- 3:06:13Yeah, so that's great, man. I've been doing a lot of cardio.
- 3:06:17Not I haven't had a sugar drink in almost six months now.
- 3:06:19It's been crazy. It's been crazy.
- 3:06:22It's something I'm very proud of, by the way.
- 3:06:25Everybody tells me, you know, I go to events and they're like,
- 3:06:27oh, have a soda, You can have a soda, you're not cheating.
- 3:06:30And I was like, I promised myself 12 months, I wasn't going
- 3:06:33to have a sugar drink. And I'm going to live through
- 3:06:35it. I'm going to, I'm going to do
- 3:06:36it. I'm going to last 12 months
- 3:06:37without a sugar drink. And you know, I have a, a
- 3:06:41milkshake, but that's not to me. I don't consider that a sugar
- 3:06:43drink. It's a milkshake.
- 3:06:46But I. Ice cream has a ton of sugar.
- 3:06:49No, I know that. I know that.
- 3:06:50But that's ice cream. I I I have like food that has
- 3:06:55sugar in it, but I'm not drinking.
- 3:06:57Any sugar? Yeah.
- 3:06:58You're not getting like the, you know, the Arizona, like the big
- 3:07:01ice, the Arizona, the Gatorades. The Powerades, the sodas,
- 3:07:06everything. I've stayed away from all of it.
- 3:07:08So it's been 6 months. I'm going to try to do it for
- 3:07:1112, and that's an accomplishment for me.
- 3:07:14For a person that lived on sugar drinks his whole life, I
- 3:07:19couldn't even imagine what a Coca-Cola tastes like right now.
- 3:07:21It's been so long I couldn't even imagine it.
- 3:07:25Six months without drinking a Coca-Cola?
- 3:07:28That's crazy. Anyways, thank you to the one
- 3:07:34and only. He definitely pissed me off, but
- 3:07:36I love him. Thank you to the one and only
- 3:07:39Jason Campbell. I remember him by the way.
- 3:07:41I watched him a lot when I was younger.
- 3:07:44I thought Jason really got the wrong stick, but Jason's and he.
- 3:07:47Was a good player, man. He really was.
- 3:07:49You had to worry about him. He could, he could do, you know,
- 3:07:51he had a good arm and he can move on, you know, when there
- 3:07:54wasn't like a ton of mobile quarterbacks like that.
- 3:07:56You know who you remind me of? A thrower, though.
- 3:07:58You know who remind me of early in his career?
- 3:08:00Randall Cunningham. That's we reminded.
- 3:08:02Funny you're going to say that. That's I thought that's who I
- 3:08:04would have said to. He was really that dynamic.
- 3:08:07He did have that injury with the collarbone, just never came back
- 3:08:09from it really unfortunately. Well, thank you to Jason
- 3:08:13Campbell and you know, thank you to his hot, hot Co host too.
- 3:08:19You know, he wanted to add that she's single.
- 3:08:21You know, I've, I've learned that she's single.
