  Speaker 1: right get unanswered because we have the capability one we

  Speaker 1: have the ability we just have to be willing to

  Speaker 1: change all right so romans chapter 8 verse 28 and

  Speaker 1: we'll let the spirit kind of take over And I

  Speaker 1: automatically heart that. And so it's 1.481,000 million. It's close

  Speaker 1: to 1.5 million people have hearted that on the Bible app.

  Speaker 1: Highly encouraged to get that app. When we read this verse,

  Speaker 1: for those that serve God, we need to keep this

  Speaker 1: in mind as followers of Christ. As believers. I mean...

  Speaker 1: I'm going to also talk before that like how life

  Speaker 1: beats us up anyways. Whether we're a believer or a

  Speaker 1: follower or not. And we're going to go through hard times.

  Speaker 1: And we're going to go through bad times. But there

  Speaker 1: are certain things that happen to us that God can

  Speaker 1: use for good. It hurts going through that betrayal. It hurts.

  Speaker 1: going through that being falsely accused it hurt I can

  Speaker 1: keep going but he can use it he can turn

  Speaker 1: it in he can turn bad into good there's so

  Speaker 1: many testimonies out there where people have turned from their

  Speaker 1: old ways and now have a brand new heart in

  Speaker 1: Christ and now serve God how do we serve God

  Speaker 1: right You may have asked yourself that. What is God's will? Oh, spirit.

  Speaker 1: What is my purpose? What is... I honestly believe majority

  Speaker 1: of us are looking for not only acceptance, but why

  Speaker 1: we're here. I honestly believe that we were all, each

  Speaker 1: and every one of us, We're born to praise God.

  Speaker 1: It's not just your simple, oh, going to a building.

  Speaker 1: And I'm not against church. I am. Praise does not

  Speaker 1: necessarily have to be with other people. You can praise

  Speaker 1: God by just easily. It doesn't have to be complex.

  Speaker 1: For example, today I was walking to my mom's. And honestly,

  Speaker 1: instead of getting into deep prayer and asking God to
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: do this and do that, do this, do that, I
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: just said, Lord Jesus, that art's in heaven. I'm not
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: coming to ask you for anything, but to tell you
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: thank you. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray, amen.

  Speaker 1: And I kept walking. I kept listening to worship music.

  Speaker 1: And gospel. Music. There's different genres as well. But I

  Speaker 1: don't want to get off topic too much. In that still.

  Speaker 1: The same thing that I said. To the Lord Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit. Said it back. It's not that I said.

  Speaker 1: I'm very thankful. To have the ability to walk. I

  Speaker 1: am very thankful. To have the ability to have all

  Speaker 1: my senses. There was plenty of times. Where I put myself.

  Speaker 1: Taking accountability. I put myself in situations where. I could
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: have lost a limb. I could have. I could have.

  Speaker 1: Gotten really injured. And. The Holy Spirit. Even when I
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: didn't feel it. Even when I didn't think. That God
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: was for me. Oh he was. Always. Gave me a
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: way out. Always gave me that nudge. Alright it's time
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: to go. Woo. Because even in our selfishness, even in
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: our sinful nature, God shows mercy and grace. When we
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: even throw ourselves in the pits of hell, one call,
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: he gets us out. But you have to be willing.
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: You have to be an obedient participant to the kingdom
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: of God. How do we do that? How do we
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: do that? What is my purpose? My purpose is the message.

  Speaker 1: The message is the mission. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: The only one that did it right. God helps those
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: people who seek him. Now that does not mean, oh,
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: just because... You think you got it all going on.

  Speaker 1: You think God's on your side. What about when. Things
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: have gone bad. And you start complaining. And you start.
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: Not seeking God. We all have that ability to. To
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: pray those. Foxborough prayers right. And we can. We can
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: lose track. of what we're even praying about during prayer.

  Speaker 1: And that's the beautiful thing about the Holy Spirit. When
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: we don't know what to say, when we don't know
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: what to do, we don't know how to act. The
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: Spirit is the guider. And you notice how I said
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: the Spirit, not the spirits. We all have a spirit.
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: We all are amongst people that we consider our colleagues,
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: our friends, our family. And just because they're family does
• 8:34
  Speaker 1: not mean that they necessarily have the best interest at
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: heart for you and they're not going to always encourage you.
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: But the Holy Spirit will. Amen? So you, the listener,
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: I don't know where you're at. We have not had
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: a one-on-one conversation. But I want you to do an
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: inventory and really break down What you are grateful for.

  Speaker 1: And what you are not grateful for. The one thing that.

  Speaker 1: It says here in even the last sentence. He does
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: this for the people that he has chosen. To serve him.

  Speaker 1: Many are called. Few are chosen. When you are chosen.

  Speaker 1: Then you have to make the decision. Decision. To choose
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: God over your flesh. Now there's a lot of people
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: that are a slave to sin. They are a slave
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: to this world. And there's so many different words that
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: we use that I believe is not spirit led in
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: these churches. Nobody is perfect though. Who am I? Who

  Speaker 1: are you to pass judgment on how somebody worships? How
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: someone preaches? How someone prays? You don't. So I want
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: to make this very clear. I really enjoy each and
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: every day that I continue to feed the spirit instead
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: of my ego. My ego's not dead. My pride's not dead.
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: But eventually it has to die in order to strive.
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: And I'm not trying to make this a condemning episode.
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: Every episode is very similar, but there are differences. I

  Speaker 1: don't want to make this all about just Romans 8,
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: verse 28 as well. This is a good, good verse
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: to really run off of. The real question that we
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: gotta ask ourselves... Are we really serving God? Or are
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: we serving our ego? Taking that accountability, realizing that you
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: are not... Who you think you are. Oh, spirit, you're going. And...

  Speaker 1: That's why the Bible says do not, I say this
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: a lot, do not lean on your own understanding. Do
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: not rely strictly on your own emotions, how you feel.

  Speaker 1: It's very important to consider others' feelings and thoughts. I
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: am no pastor. When it comes to When it comes
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: to what I do for the Lord. A lot of
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: the times it's... I am not recognized. And I do
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: not get any credit. Oh, poor Mark. Right? I don't need...

  Speaker 1: the encouragement. I don't need anything from anyone except the
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. I don't mind going unrecognized just like I
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: did when I was an alcoholic and a drug addict.

  Speaker 1: I did not mind people not necessarily liking me. It's
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: the same in following Christ. And I say this with
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: such passion Because what I do in private, like what
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: I'm doing right now, giving my time to the word,
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: giving my time to allow the Holy Spirit to speak
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: through me. Glory to God. This is not about me.
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: This is not about you. This is about Jesus. The
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: real chosen one. And I understand. I completely understand that
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: a lot of times we all go down wrong paths.
• 14:16
  Speaker 1: But I highly encourage you to have an encounter with
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: the Prince of Peace. There's so many more names for
• 14:27
