- 0:00All right, we are live. Hello everybody, and welcome Honeybage Radio.
- 0:05My name is Brian and this is the Fireside Chat and I am here with
- 0:08one of the the vets, the vets of the men's movement. I think
- 0:14the I called it the Old Guard, not not because of the beard,
- 0:18but just because you've been doing this a long time, Dan, parents,
- 0:21right is how you say it? Parents? Yep? Okay, like parents
- 0:25was just here sauce. Yeah, so Dan, in case you guys well,
- 0:31first of all, welcome to the show. Dan. It's good to
- 0:33have you. I haven't seen you since. Uh. I think I ran
- 0:36into you. I went up to Toronto for a talk that Warren Farrell was
- 0:41giving because he was sort of promoting his book The Boy Crisis, and you
- 0:45were there. Do you remember that? Yeah? I was there, you
- 0:49know, quick quick parents there, m Yeah, that was yeah. I
- 0:53ran into you there, and I haven't. I haven't made it to crawl
- 0:56with you often lately. It's been kind of dodge everyone. Yeah, it's
- 1:03pretty darky everywhere, you know cities, people are desperate. Oh yeah,
- 1:07yeah, that's that's not good. So I shared a clip at the beginning
- 1:14that you guys might remember from the from the early days of like the internet,
- 1:19uh feminism and their clashes with MRA's and it's it's it's Chanty Banks.
- 1:26I forget her real name, but that's sort of like one of her screen
- 1:27names. We call her Big Red. And I wanted to share the Big
- 1:32Red clip because Dan, you were there, you spoke to her. I
- 1:34think she was actually yelling at you when that thing was going down? Is
- 1:40that right? Yeah? I was there at ground zero, ground zero?
- 1:47Could you what can I say? Bad? Yeah, Nanty did all the
- 1:53time, you know. So I'm actually really curious about the story of how,
- 2:00like how what happened that day? What was all that about? How
- 2:04did you find yourself across from probably the largest feminist meme on the internet period,
- 2:10like the biggest meme. And I'm so grateful, by the way,
- 2:14it too shanty for that. I'm so grateful for Big Red because she is
- 2:19embodied, you know, like what we were up again? So well,
- 2:23I think that it's you know, so, what's the story of how did
- 2:27you end up there? And what was up with that? Well? At
- 2:30the time, I believe I was the Ontario news director for a Voice for
- 2:34Men and they asked me to go out danceing. And there had been some
- 2:39previous protests at the Canadian Association for Equalities lectures and the one that was being
- 2:49given that night when I faced chanty was it was Paul Nathanson and Katherine Young,
- 2:59and I think it was the second second book in their three part series
- 3:04on miss andry. So there, you know, there I was, and
- 3:07there there there they were out in the out in the hallway. They're banging
- 3:13on the lockers, making all kinds of raucous and to be honest with you,
- 3:16I if you look at the videos from that, you will see Professor
- 3:21Catherine Young and she looks concerned, like somewhat like almost scared. She would
- 3:27look really somewhat concerned. Yeah, so the fire alarm goes off, everybody
- 3:31has to leave. We know that it's a false alarm. It is what
- 3:36it is. Yes, we're outside, and there was there was I think
- 3:42about four of us, four or five of us that were from you know,
- 3:46various parts. Voice for men send up some people and yeah, there
- 3:52are a voice for men send up some people from out of Toronto, out
- 3:53of Ontario. And so all of us head outside. And if you watch
- 4:00that video, I keep on looking left because our only avenue of escape if
- 4:05things went nasty was right behind me. And I believe it was John.
- 4:12I can't think of the last name, but John was often left. They're
- 4:15interacting with some individuals and there's some individuals interacting with me, and you know,
- 4:20it was basically we were the small we were the underdogs. If anything
- 4:25went I was gonna ask, like, how many you were you guys outnumbered,
- 4:28because you know, you couldn't really see like how big the big the
- 4:31crowds were outside if I had to, you know, thinking back, I'd
- 4:38say, maybe there was thirty people in the in for the talk, maybe
- 4:42thirty to fifty people, and it must have been it would probably be pretty
- 4:46close to a hundred of the protesters that showed up, maybe a little bit
- 4:49more. So there's you know, quite a quite a discrepancy in numbers,
- 4:56and so anyways, yeah, so I'm just kind of watching. I I've
- 5:00actually got a video out there where Chanty actually points me out and then not
- 5:03more than three minutes later she shows up. At the time, I was
- 5:06wearing a voice for Men's sticker and uh, you know, I had it
- 5:12on kind of you know, identifying me. So I was you know,
- 5:15obviously had a you know, big red target on my on my chest,
- 5:18and she thought it out and then off she went reading her her list,
- 5:25her list. Yeah, that she kept on saying she didn't know where it
- 5:30came from. But if you looked at her tumbler feat there her old tumbler
- 5:35uh blog, whatever it was she you know, she she loves who the
- 5:41heck was it that wrote that that that article. If I say I don't
- 5:46hate men, will you believe me? Or something like that, Lyndy West
- 5:50Yes, And so you know, she she fleets stupidity and ignorance. And
- 5:57meanwhile, you know, on her blog, on her tumblr blog, well
- 6:00I want to marry Lindy West, all right, So yeah, I buy
- 6:02that one. She you know, any any time, you know what,
- 6:09Today I kind of thought about things a little bit and come to the conclusion
- 6:14and this fits perfectly with what chant he did. So I'm of the mind
- 6:17that feminism is the immaculate perception. All other views are considered blasphemy and to
- 6:25be you know, called out and shut down. And yes, hello,
- 6:29say hi charger, Hi charger, Hello, say hello to the dog.
- 6:32Everybody. JoJo's not here because Lindsay is here, So JoJo's with Lindsay.
- 6:36Normally I have a camera with my dog Jojo. He's like an American foxhound
- 6:41mix and he like sleeps in is the bed it's right behind me here,
- 6:45and I have a separate cam for Jojo, but he's not here today.
- 6:48So I'm glad the charger is here because we need like some dogo representation,
- 6:54right puptriarchy? All right? Yeahlin is him? What's up? What is
- 7:01his breed? By the way, he looks like a melan law. Yeah,
- 7:05he's half shepherd, half husky. Okay, and nine years old and
- 7:11he still pulls like a mule. He's in fantastic shape. But yeah,
- 7:15and and and he's he's rare in the goal. If there's a female within
- 7:19fifty miles, he's ready. He's still got yea. Yeah. Anyway,
- 7:27you were talking about shanty and feminism being like a religion. Yeah, so,
- 7:31yeah, it's the immaculate perception. Only their view is is holy.
- 7:36You know, it's sacra sank the holiest of holies. Any other views,
- 7:40that's it. It's got to go. It's the devil's work. So so
- 7:44what chance he read off there? And every time I tried to you know,
- 7:47point out something. She would just scream, it's not for you,
- 7:50mister entitled face, eightyways, blah blah blah blah blah, and off she
- 7:57went. So yeah, that's kind of how she ends up in my face.
- 8:01And you know, we we kind of interact back and forth. But
- 8:05he like, again, if you keep on, if you look at that
- 8:07video, I keep on looking left because I was. I was worried too.
- 8:11It was serious out numbering going on, and our only, uh,
- 8:15our only egress was to go right back into the building and that was,
- 8:18you know, kind of semi crowded as well. So yeah, it could
- 8:22it could have gone bad, very very easily. Didn't, thankfully. So
- 8:26you said there was a guy named John with you. Was it John Hembling?
- 8:30John the other? Oh really? Oh okay, so it was John
- 8:35the other John Hembling. Yeah, I'm actually friends with him on Facebook.
- 8:39Yeah, he used to make he used to work with Allison and Karen and
- 8:41stuff on videos back in the day. Yeah you know, yeah, so
- 8:45yeah, yeah, yeah, well yeah, this is like twenty thirteen,
- 8:48so it's you know there, you know, ten years ago sort of deal.
- 8:52Then, yeah, just over ten years. So what else comes out?
- 8:54Of that it is okay. So now you know, chant He's got
- 8:58my attention sort of deal. I don't know why this person kind of picked
- 9:01me out and you know, decided that they were gonna it. Almost to
- 9:05me, in my mind, it seemed like she was she wanted me to
- 9:09pop say something stupid or do something stupid. Oh yeah, for sure,
- 9:13just the way how obnoxious she was being. So yeah, I kind of
- 9:18you know, she got my attention, and I wrote an article about her,
- 9:22and I took my time five days. I waited five days to put
- 9:24that article out because I as soon as I seen what was happening, I'm
- 9:28like, this is really this is really good. But danger will rogers dangers
- 9:35because you know, any you know a lot of people really really didn't like
- 9:39what she did, and understandable, but you know, like to the point
- 9:45where there were some comments that there's no way and tell that I would ever
- 9:48condone them, you know, disavow one thousand percent. So I was really
- 9:52kind of concerned about that. I have no I've never had any any hatred
- 9:56for per Chanty. Always pity always must be hell going through life with that
- 10:01much hate in your soul. Oh yeah, for sure, absolutely that is.
- 10:05I'm glad you said that. You know, I've actually been trying to
- 10:09reach Chanty Banks for years. I want to get her on the show.
- 10:13Her tumbler is is it's still there, I think, but she doesn't post
- 10:18on it anymore. She's basically left social media and said that she's been like
- 10:22claims anyway that she's been harassed off of it. I don't think that that's
- 10:26the case. I think that she's just really ashamed. That's what I That's
- 10:30what I'm hoping, because that's sort of like you know, you're ashamed and
- 10:33then you sort of repent and then you try to like do better, you
- 10:37know. But I actually tried to get her on. I'm still trying to
- 10:41get her on. So if anybody has any way, I would love to
- 10:43get her on, and just I don't want to fight with her or anything.
- 10:46I just want to talk to her because you know, Cassie j pulled
- 10:50it off for her movie. She pulled off the Incredible and got her on,
- 10:54and I'm like, how did you do that? Like I've been trying
- 10:56to do this for years, because you know, I want to thank her,
- 11:00like I was saying, you know, uh, big Red's done more
- 11:03for essentially the fight against feminism than I think most MRAs could have hoped for
- 11:09her. You know, you know, I like as soon as I started
- 11:15seeing things popping, like when I got home from Toronto, I don't know,
- 11:18two o'clock in the morning of the next day, I can't remember.
- 11:20But you know, as soon as I just started seeing things pop online,
- 11:22I was like, oh my gosh, like, you know, this is
- 11:26a this is a volatile situation, and and you know, like like I
- 11:31wouldn't push ill upon anybody's sort of deal, like no, I mean,
- 11:35yeah, but you know I got no problems letting their own r you know,
- 11:39own those words. There are hers, they're not mine. So that
- 11:43that kind of played out there was so yeah, I wrote that article about
- 11:48five days back, and I've actually invited her on walks really all right,
- 11:54there's the other dog A charger was watching for her. So it's a polar
- 12:01dog walking spot here. Yeah, sure it looks nice, is it's not?
- 12:05Is it too hot? It doesn't look hot? Oh, it's beautiful
- 12:09out the correct break behind me, there's you know, all kinds of wildlife
- 12:11around here. You know, it looks kind of like close to us,
- 12:16like in Virginia. There's a river and we take Jojo. He loves swimming.
- 12:22So yeah, it looks it reminds me of where I am. Basically,
- 12:28where are you exactly right now in Canada? I assume, so I'm
- 12:31I'm about a mile away from McMaster University m hm, where that infamous Jorgan
- 12:39Peterson talk lecture took place. Oh yeah, back in two thousand and seventeen
- 12:46or eighteen, I think it was March the free speech, the free speech
- 12:48thing that he did outside we were surrounded by all the okay, yeah,
- 12:52well that was the thing that put him on the map. You're like close
- 12:56to all the hot spots then, yeah, yeah, so yeah, I've
- 13:03actually I would like to hammer home this point if you ever, yeah,
- 13:05you know, get older. She's more than welcome to come out for a
- 13:09walk and put some stickers off, and you know, and and like just
- 13:13like get over this kind of hump whatever. You know, it's open to
- 13:16everybody. I don't care who who puts a sticker up. You know,
- 13:20I'd rather I'd rather my enemy put my sticker up with that National Suicide Hotline,
- 13:26then you know somebody tear it down. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 13:31So I want to ask you a little bit about your like how you
- 13:35got involved with this stuff. You and I talked a little bit before the
- 13:39show. You mentioned Earl Silverman and uh, you guys, in case you
- 13:45don't know, maybe tell us who Rol Earl Silverman is. You can probably
- 13:48do it better than I could. And you knew the guy. I didn't
- 13:50know him, and like, uh, is what happened with him? Why
- 13:56you got involved with this or were you quort of interested before or what I
- 14:00was? Okay, So the way that the state fell on my shoulders back
- 14:03in two thousand and nineteen, when a cop said, suck it up,
- 14:07we don't intend to encourse the law after an ex admittaged legal crimes against me,
- 14:15not not not not physical ones. So I started, you know,
- 14:18getting a little curious, why is this? You know, there's no team
- 14:20right here. And so I did a little digging, and you know,
- 14:24other things happened, and you know, I the more I dug though,
- 14:28the angry of the powers that beat got and you know, kind of bade
- 14:33me dig my heels in deeper. So anyways, two thousand and nine,
- 14:37the way of the state comes down on me. I you know, kind
- 14:39of worked through that, not really not greatly, not successfully, but I
- 14:43still, you know, I get through it, and I'm and I'm like,
- 14:46there's there's just something so wrong here. And so I start doing a
- 14:50blog and and you know, I come across Barbara Kay's writings and a few
- 14:56other things, and I start looking at the General Social Raise on domestic abuse
- 15:01and you know what the numbers are, and you know, I started looking
- 15:03at it, and I'm going like, there there's pretty much the one per
- 15:07cent difference for the last twenty years. What's going on here? Sort of
- 15:11deale and then you know, I kind of go on from there, I
- 15:13think shortly after that, after I started doing that, then Professor Holly Johnson
- 15:20and the hecks the name the Ottawa Coalition and Violence against Women OCTAVOW or whatever,
- 15:28which hidden in plain sight, and they they they they absorb all the
- 15:35male victims and claim them as female victims so that they put out goodness,
- 15:41Yeah, it was like one point three million women were abused, you know
- 15:46during the last General Social Survey, and what the real numbers were, it
- 15:48was five hundred and eighty five thousand men and six hundred and one thousand women
- 15:52that that you know, reported abuse in the general social survey. So they're
- 15:56just adding it together and seeing it's women. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah
- 16:02yeah. And they and so BA or whatever Ottawak coalition. They're also heavily
- 16:10involved in seed SEEDBA or SEEDBA or something like that un arm of the of
- 16:18the you know, a coalition end violence against Women's sort of deal. And
- 16:21you know, so like if if they're sloppy here, then they're sloppy there,
- 16:25and you know, they don't they don't like my name get called to
- 16:27her being dropped. So I post that from Paul hel him there, and
- 16:33I say, hey, Paul, can you give me a favor and you
- 16:36know, put this up there, and you know, so as soon as
- 16:37from there, it was just like, you know, jeez, I should
- 16:40just started getting noticed. Yeah, And then Earl Silverman reaches out to me,
- 16:48and you know, we chat back and forth, and he was up
- 16:51on uttering a threat charge which was two sixty I think that's two sixty four
- 16:59one as one of the Criminal Code or two sixty five. It's right there
- 17:03somewhere, and that's a strict liability law. And if I remember correctly,
- 17:07I think Earl said he was going to pull the lip over some some domestic
- 17:14or some some crown attorneys pulled a lip over some Crown attorney's head and that
- 17:18was continued, you know, like it was. It was. It was
- 17:21the most ridiculous thing. It was. It was a hyperbolic comment, not
- 17:26to be taken seriously. But because it's a strict liability threat or a strict
- 17:30liability charge, that means the onus fell on Earle to prove his innocence,
- 17:37proved that he wasn't being serious about his comment. So we started, you
- 17:42know, going back and forth. And he's running MASH at the time,
- 17:47which is the Men's Abused Shelter and Housing out of his house there in it's
- 17:52an Alberta but I can't remember exactly where it was. And he was doing
- 17:57fundraisers and I, you know, I bought brick even though I was kind
- 18:00of poor at the time, and I hung posters up for him and you
- 18:03know, put those around and you know, try to raise him money that
- 18:07you know, walked up and down the main drag here and Dundas and I
- 18:11you know, went to all the shops and and the ones that I figured
- 18:15would be perceptive and asked them, you know, hey, you want here
- 18:18we go this is the only shelter we got here in Canada for men.
- 18:21And we all know that, you know that things aren't exactly peachy for men.
- 18:26And I don't know how much of a response he got from that,
- 18:30but I did make the effort. And then he fell into serious troubles and
- 18:34U two weeks before his suicide there I talked to him and I gave my
- 18:41phone number. I said, you know, anything, just reach out,
- 18:45don't care what time, It's always open. And unfortunately he, uh,
- 18:49he didn't take me up on the office. So yeah, that's how that
- 18:53played out. And after that, uh, I mean, first of all,
- 18:57I guess it hit you hard. Were you close with him? Would
- 19:02you say, well, you know, we talked, you know a few
- 19:04times, you know, over a year sort of gale and and uh it,
- 19:08uh it bothered me. Yeah, I did, because you know,
- 19:11I was starting or starting to do the walks, because in two thousand and
- 19:15fifteen, that's the first year and I think sixty some odd National Mental Health
- 19:23weeks that they said, hey, holy shit, we got half a population
- 19:26we've been ignoring for sixty some odd year. Yeah. Yeah, but I
- 19:33was right around in there, and you know, I started looking at things.
- 19:37More more educated I became, the more I started looking at things and
- 19:42started to formulating that suicide needs to be the one that I should be hammering
- 19:48on for because from suicide, I can you know, I can talk about
- 19:52the forces, talk about job losses and housing losses, substance abuse, and
- 19:57you know, I can tie that back. I can. There's so many
- 20:00different things that are affect metro like and so it just seemed like the natural
- 20:03one for a small probably like me, to you know, go up against.
- 20:07Yeah, no, I have Suicide's huge. We talk about it frequently
- 20:11on the channel, and I understand that you help out, like writing articles
- 20:18for one of the mental health websites. I just had a guy on not
- 20:22long ago. I think, yeah, yeah, Phil Mitchell, that's right.
- 20:29Yeah, that's right for male Psychology, I think it is. Yeah,
- 20:32that's right, Center for Male Psychology. Yes, but a few other
- 20:33ones, doctor John Barry I've had on like in the past. Uh you
- 20:37know, so yeah, definitely a big, a big, big big thing
- 20:41that just now. You know, a lot of normies are starting to like
- 20:45see I mean they're talking about it as a male loneliness epidemic. But like
- 20:51that's sort of like amongst younger guys. But yeah, I mean, obviously
- 20:56suicidality is a is a big men's issue that is not being addressed because it's
- 21:02the people are trying to resolve the symptoms and not the cause, right like
- 21:07what the you know, what the what? Tracing it back, starting the
- 21:10story in the middle as it were. Yeah, So yeah, it's it's
- 21:15it's a tough it's a tough thing to get into. You're not gonna find
- 21:22many guys talking about it because they got you know, they got fed up
- 21:26with talking a long time ago, and they're you know, and they're buried
- 21:29already. Yeah, what's uh so yeah, all right, so I'm gonna
- 21:36open this one up sort of deal. So, yeah, I run Project
- 21:38Jeb. And what Project Jeb is is, it's a it's a thing,
- 21:42it's a lock that I do to raise awareness book mail suicide issue. Currently
- 21:47in most Western nations, English speaking nations, men are rocking seventy five percent
- 21:52of all suicide. That's that's a deplorable number. M Well. I came
- 21:56up with something called Project Jeb after the first dog that I went on the
- 22:00first walk with. His name was Jeff Charter. Is his replacement sort of
- 22:07job. So I figured, you know, after the first walk, I
- 22:08figured, what better way to honor that that hairy son of mine than to
- 22:15call something, you know, after him, Project Jeb. Leave him a
- 22:17legacy. So I come up with four pillars for Project Chef, which is
- 22:22number one. Toxic masculinity is toxic terminology. We can talk, we can
- 22:27talk toxic behavior all day long and not undermine a young man's ability to develop
- 22:33a healthy ego. Right. Conversely, with society put up with the term
- 22:37toxic feminity. You know, girls hold it in, they cut Apparently,
- 22:41this is what I'm told. Isn't that toxic behavior? Yeah, leave this
- 22:47open. There's my position. That's pillar one. Pillar two is that we
- 22:51should encourage our sons to talk a little bit more at an early age.
- 22:55And we should listen. Okay, not just handwave. Well, that's toxic
- 22:59masculinity to me, not just can't wait. We should listen, listen to
- 23:02their concerns. Maybe they have an issue going on, maybe they don't,
- 23:04but if we don't listen, we'll never find out. Well, we shouldn't
- 23:07shoot them down when they start expressing their feelings, because that's exactly what feminists
- 23:11do, is they'll say men need to talk about their feelings more. And
- 23:14then when a man says, well, here are some things I'm dealing with,
- 23:17they'll say, you know, wha wha male tears. Right. So
- 23:19it's like, if you're not, like you said, you know, you
- 23:22have to you have to be willing to listen. It's not enough to just
- 23:26say you know whatever, you have to like make especially with young men,
- 23:30they should feel comfortable about expressing themselves in whatever way they are comfortable. And
- 23:37when they're ready, you know, like you can't corner them and be like,
- 23:40you have to tell me, you know whatever. Right, Like,
- 23:42the way that men, the way that men heal emotionally, is different from
- 23:49women. It's not We're not gonna have a cry session most of the time.
- 23:52That doesn't work with men, right, get that, we're gonna get
- 23:56to that. Okay, okay, bill too, I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 24:00There's a flip side the pillar two about you know, our young bucks
- 24:03encourage them to talk, and that's our daughters. Encourage them. Get a
- 24:06little dirt underneath their fingernails. My god, they're not made of fine boom
- 24:10china. Get out there, build them for to enjoy themselves too. Right.
- 24:12Yeah, you know, like we should stop, you know, teaching
- 24:17our daughters that they are, you know, find fragile things they are not.
- 24:22Okay, that's my point there. Pillar three. Okay, we should
- 24:26be tweaking mental health services to make them more appealing to men. That's not
- 24:30to say takeaway from women's or you know, the current therapy, which is
- 24:33more female appealing. They talk based to fl what I mean by tweaking it
- 24:41a little bit to make it more appealing to men. Let's get their hands
- 24:44busy us guys who seem to like to be up to our elbows in an
- 24:47engine, and we'll say, hey, I'm having a little problem at home
- 24:49there or at my age, my prostate. You know, numbers aren't coming
- 24:53back at a good you know, at a good thing or something like that.
- 24:56Right, So yeah, get our hands busy, so our gums will,
- 25:00you know, so that we'll start talking. And if anybody doubts my
- 25:03word, just go down to the local bar and look at the hands being
- 25:07busy with the guys and how they're talking. That's pillar three. So that
- 25:12yeah, and pillar four there's an easy one. And again this applies across
- 25:17the board. Substances aren't Solutions. That's it Project Jeb in a nutshell.
- 25:23Yeah, that's on x or Twitter at project or hashtag project Jeb. I
- 25:30put a link in the description also to your Twitter handles so people can follow
- 25:34you. I followed you just a little while ago. Today, I just
- 25:38got back on Twitter because I was permanently banned for pissing off the communists and
- 25:44I had to make a new account, so I didn't really get My old
- 25:47one is still banned. Elon Musk apparently hasn't noticed that I'm not there.
- 25:51But so he's got his hands full. Yeah, yeah, I'm pretty sure
- 25:57he doesn't have time for a small I like me. But all right,
- 26:02But anyway, so you didn't he charge three hundred grand or something like that.
- 26:07I don't know. Are people suing him, I'm sure, I mean,
- 26:11well it was they wanted to have access to somebody. I think it
- 26:15was Donald Trump's account grand or something. Yeah. Yeah, well, I'm
- 26:23sure that that's not a problem for him. It shouldn't happen. No,
- 26:30it is ridiculous, obviously. I mean there's all kinds of law fair and
- 26:34political weaponization going on right now. I mean, but I want to go
- 26:41back to the protest about one other thing I meant to mention you said that
- 26:48one of the presenters was kind of like, you know, afraid for her
- 26:52safety, righty, Do you do you think that there was? I remember
- 26:57Kafee Young. Do you think that there was? Cause, like, did
- 27:00you did you feel like things could have gotten bad where there? Because you
- 27:04know, it's like if there's a bunch of women yelling like, that's one
- 27:08thing, but if there's some white knights there and simps there that couldn't they
- 27:11can get worse, you know, So do you think something could happen?
- 27:15Is that why you're looking out for you know, you were making escape plans
- 27:18in your head and stuff Toronto, you know, Toronto e Baltimore. But
- 27:23it can be a little rough and the crowds that are coming out, you
- 27:26know, it's the antique bah antique BA whatever, and you know they're not
- 27:32exactly known for being diploma diplomatic masters. Yeah yeah, yeah, so okay,
- 27:42so yeah, you know we're okay. So I did a little you
- 27:45know, looking looking, digging into you know, chanties online presence and who
- 27:49do I come up with? A guy by the name of more Michael Laxer
- 27:55and Michael Laxer is I think he was the head or the cold vice president
- 28:00of the Communist Party in Canada or something like that. Very very yah.
- 28:04I mean I'm not I'm looking at this. This is a this is a
- 28:07shocked face. I'm shocked. I'm shocked that it was commies so like,
- 28:12because you know, a lot of people are discovering and they discovered Antifa maybe
- 28:17in twenty twenty, but I was wondering about the protests, not just that
- 28:22that one with Chanty, but the one with I think it was before that
- 28:26or on the same year that Steve Ruley recorded where the I think Warren Farrell
- 28:32was giving a talk. It was the same university that I went and met
- 28:34with a Warren Farrell at where I saw you, and there were these angry,
- 28:38you know, feminist women. I remember one of them was saying,
- 28:41you know, fucking scum and if you guys remember the fucking scum girl,
- 28:45she had like a nose ring. And I was like wondering, like,
- 28:49could these be Antifa before we knew it was Antifa? Like I think it
- 28:56was. I just think it didn't have a name at the time, or
- 29:00it wasn't proudly presented. I mean, I mean, do you think that
- 29:03could be the case. Well, Auntie Buzz, Marx is communist, so
- 29:07yeah, it's the same umbrella. Yeah, yeah, I mean it is,
- 29:11it is. And then I think, you know, I think that
- 29:18possibly it was already set up in Europe because you think that would be a
- 29:21little you know, ahead of us, and it just kind of spread like
- 29:23the black Block. Yeah, yeah, definitely, Well, and I think
- 29:27it was. It's probably a little bit worse in Canada than here, although
- 29:30it's it's getting pretty bad in the States too. I guess I just drove
- 29:34away all of our commy supporters, of which there are none, so all
- 29:41zero of them. But I was lost. Now they're gone. Yeah,
- 29:49so let me yeah, go ahead, go ahead. She's tied in there.
- 29:56And they seem to be the ones who were organ nizing all the protests
- 30:00at including that first original Warren Farrell one and that one that that there was
- 30:07a young man and that's why I was at the Warren Farrell one on purpose.
- 30:11There there was a young man at the first Warren Farrell talk and he
- 30:15says, I just want to find out why two friends of mine killed himself
- 30:18from like oh I remember that guy. Yeah, And he couldn't get in
- 30:23and they you know, everything was canceled. That just made my blood boil.
- 30:29I got that's personal because I got kid in the ground from suicide.
- 30:33And yeah, I you know, you see that young man struggling with that,
- 30:37and I just thought, how could you? That was the most rudest
- 30:41thing. And then you know, thank mercifully, chanty came up and one
- 30:45up them said, hold my beer. H did did you ever find that
- 30:51guy? Because that's another person that I've been trying to find or look looking.
- 30:55I don't even know his name or anything. No. I I kind
- 30:59of looked for him when you were up here up you know, in Toronto,
- 31:03and I, you know, I just wanted to see if I could
- 31:04pick him out of the crowd. I didn't really see him. I uh.
- 31:08I hope that he's doing well. I hope that he has kind of
- 31:14walked I hope he walked away. Yeah. This is a hard It's it's
- 31:19a hard it's it's it's a hard road to hope. It is nasty being
- 31:23in this gig, you know, like I've had the worst kind of name
- 31:29tossed at me, allegations left, right and center, just like craziness,
- 31:37like wait a minute. Year, have you had more than like say,
- 31:41threats or allegations made, like have you ever been uh just put you in
- 31:44a position where you were like being I guess you know, arrested or jailed
- 31:48even no, because I've had I had I had somebody try and set me
- 31:56up, but thankfully I had video, you know, kind of kind of
- 32:02covering my ass. But I have had, you know, a couple folks
- 32:07try and set me up and I just kind of go. You obviously judge
- 32:10a book by it's covered because you're looking at me thinking, I am you
- 32:15know otis from what do you called? House with a thousand corpses there?
- 32:19But not No, you're more like Mr Gandolf gets no pass. You just
- 32:29need a pipe. I mean you have a you vape so you could just
- 32:32do that instead. Yeh, yeah, I got my staff here, do
- 32:37you on charger? He's my charger. Yeah, that's right, that's your
- 32:42shadow facts. So it's great. So you're U. Let me ask you
- 32:51this. You've been doing this a while. Here's a question that I've I've
- 32:53started asking people that I have that I know. I've been doing this for
- 32:57a while. Have you looked back on since you started doing this and thought
- 33:02to yourself, how much have I changed? Like, are there is there
- 33:07anything about like what you you know, your beliefs, or your your worldview,
- 33:13or your maybe your overall attitude, whether you're more positive or more negative
- 33:16or whatever, and that has changed in the last ten years. Hmm.
- 33:22It's a tough question, I know, but I think it's a good one.
- 33:27It's you know, it's it's it's it's it's oscillation. It oscillates.
- 33:35There's days where I get off when I think, screw it all, I'm
- 33:37just gonna pack it in and you know, concentrate on me. And then
- 33:40there's days where I just look at the misery and carnage that's around and and
- 33:45I'm like I can't, like I just can't turn a blind eye, you
- 33:49know, I see it. So what am I? What am I gonna
- 33:51do about it? And and then there's you know, recent experiences that you
- 33:58know, just drive my heels in further. And I said high bars for
- 34:01myself too. I was I was going to try and do a thousand mile
- 34:06walk this year. But it's hard to juggle between you know, putting funds
- 34:09into the cart and then you know, trying to accumulate funds, and it's
- 34:14it's a never it's it's it's a never ending battle. So I'm not going
- 34:17to make a thousand miles, but I am going to be making a trip
- 34:21shortly. Yes, Charger, I know, another dog, I get it.
- 34:24Just relax, You're fine, but I know you're fine. So yeah,
- 34:30I'm it awesome. It's have I changed, got a little older,
- 34:35a little more determined. I'd say positive, but not it's you know,
- 34:43a six out of ten. Yeah on the PODi, I am, I
- 34:47am saying changed, and you know, I'm I'm I'm glad to see it.
- 34:52I see that in the I've seen on the Hamilton police website. Now
- 34:57they're offering helped for abused, which is like, oh yeah, hey,
- 35:01wait a goal. That's huge, yea, only about fifty years behind the
- 35:06rest of us. And then you know there's there's the the uh, there's
- 35:15the the hits too, because recently Hamilton just declared all femicide some something femicide
- 35:22or you know, national emergency or citywide emergency and femicide. And I'm like,
- 35:28the word you know, no, you're the word you're looking for is
- 35:31honor killings because that's mostly what's going on. It's not you know, it's
- 35:37not just you know, guys randomly going out, it's you know, yeah,
- 35:42it just doesn't happen. What what reality doesn't line up with what you're
- 35:45claiming. But they get they they got the governments here m m more quite
- 35:53a bit here in Hamilton. The new mayor of Hamilton is Andrea Horvath and
- 36:00she used to run beyond chair the provincial NDP. What US locals should call
- 36:06the NDP is the No Dad's Party. Yeah, of course, yeah,
- 36:08that's that's right. And the far left. Oh yeah, Democrats are the
- 36:14same. They basically turned single mothers into a voting block. That's what they
- 36:19do. That's what they do here in the States. Yeah, that's why
- 36:22they keep winning because there's a lot of single moms, so and they always
- 36:25vote for the Gibbs, you know, and the Dam's always promised them men's
- 36:30money essentially, So that's why they keep winning. But I do think that
- 36:37I don't know if this is what you've seen this, but I'm on the
- 36:40internet a lot because it's my job, and one of the things I've noticed
- 36:44that's kind of heartening is the conversation around men's issues is getting out of our
- 36:50little corner of the web into like other sort of political commentary. In particular,
- 36:55the word missentry I'm seeing it in place is that I've never seen it
- 37:00before. Now it still comes up as a misspelled word if you put it
- 37:04into like a word document or something or online, but people like on YouTube
- 37:09or websites or whatever are using the word. Even the people who hate us
- 37:14feel like they have to use the word. And I think that's a that's
- 37:17a big step forward. Am I wrong about that? Just the fact that
- 37:22people are recognizing it. Yeah, it was. I remember when there was
- 37:25a you know when when uh Paul professor Paul Nathanson and Catherine Young there,
- 37:32professors there, they were just starting to you know, kind of introduce the
- 37:37word in to you know, kind of the north North American vernacular. And
- 37:42there's quite a blowback about that, and you know, of course they came
- 37:45out, you know, there's no such thing, by the way, kill
- 37:47all men. Yeah, yeah, I have a couple of male fears with
- 37:53that, you know, that that anti missing, that that non miss andry
- 37:58right, yeah, yeah, yeah, that is a good thing. And
- 38:02you know, like even CNN is pop and articles you know, what's wrong
- 38:07with today's men sort of deal and stuff like that. And so, you
- 38:12know, the fact that the mainstream media is kind of opening the door for
- 38:15us is a good thing. Unfortunately, the door that they're opening is the
- 38:20folks like Michael Flood and other you know idiots, Michael Kill Michael Flood.
- 38:24Absolutely, well, that's that's the thing. And I've been saying this,
- 38:29and I'm glad that you brought this up because I've been I've been saying that
- 38:32when people say, well, you know, there are people talking about men's
- 38:37issues now, and I'm like, yeah, But the reason why is because
- 38:39they're finding out that they can no longer. Before they used to censor us.
- 38:44They used to ban us. They would protest our gatherings, they would
- 38:47try to get us removed from social media, they would try to block us,
- 38:51et cetera. But now that the conversation is getting out of control,
- 38:53they're gonna try and co opt it. So now they're gonna say, oh,
- 38:58actually, we feminists do care out men. And when they if we
- 39:00let them coopt it, then they're just gonna they're gonna do what you said,
- 39:05They're gonna make it. Michael Flood, Michael Kimmel, toxic masculinity,
- 39:09all of the way of the feminist sort of ways of interpreting men's issues,
- 39:14the APA guidelines, and you know about the APA guidelines right the American side.
- 39:21Yeah, So like that's what they're going to try to do. They're
- 39:23gonna try and make it their brand of men's issues, and it's really not
- 39:29going to help. It's probably gonna make things worse. So we have to,
- 39:31like we have to keep fighting against that. Yeah. And and so
- 39:37basically, you know, what are you what are they gonna get from Kimmel
- 39:39and Flood, Oh you're a defective woman yep, full of toxic masculinity and
- 39:45you're a defective woman. It's just like boys in school. That's what they
- 39:50get right from teachers. Yeah. Yeah, so we do we dare to
- 39:55touch that third rail about school. We can do that absolutely. You know
- 40:00what do you mean, I've been talking about teachers for what's going on in
- 40:04schools these days, drag Queen's story our well, it's it's it's yeah,
- 40:09we can talk about that. That's all because I think it's related, you
- 40:13know, like I think there is a well you can look at the work
- 40:17that's been done. I can't remember the names of the various sort of like
- 40:22academic feminists that have written on queer theory. But that goes back to like
- 40:25the sixties, the seventies. You know. Janus Fiamingo put out a tweet
- 40:31I don't have it in front of me where she was talking about a book
- 40:35that you know what I'm talking about. Yeah, it was about gender and
- 40:38it was written in the seventies, and it is exactly what this is.
- 40:43And this is like why I say, you know, like there is a
- 40:45there is a war within feminism right between the second wave feminists that were like
- 40:53this you know, women worsting kind of feminists, and then there's like the
- 40:58the more the intersectional feminists, which are you know they involved, like they
- 41:02sort of bring in the trans queer theory stuff, the queer ideology stuff,
- 41:08and sometimes people ask that, you know, I take a side in that,
- 41:14and I and I hate them both equally, Like I mean, I
- 41:17think the one is just anti male, the other one doesn't think that masculinity
- 41:22is an identity that exists. So I don't think either of them are could
- 41:27and I think that they're that, and I think that like actually supporting either
- 41:30side of that is going to lead to more male suicide. I mean that's
- 41:36just to me, that's just what it is. And I think it's supporting
- 41:38a very radical notion of feminism. And plus I like living in reality where
- 41:44I know that gender is real. You know, I mean call me,
- 41:47I guess what you saying. I can't identify as a terrible Lizard king.
- 41:53I mean I wish I could terrible yea. And I mean this stuff only
- 42:00escalates too. Like there was another tweet that I saw from and I bet
- 42:07this is real, but you never know. It's Twitter. This is the
- 42:12Pride flag. Okay, so someone from a tweet handle called zooe dot pub
- 42:20says the struggles zoo sexual space zoo Sexual's face are the same face by members
- 42:27of the LGBT before them. Direct comparisons between the two are not only apt
- 42:30but necessary. Today we're taking a look at the similarities between the two and
- 42:35it shows two flags. There's like the Pride flag and I guess the zoo
- 42:39zoo Twitter sexual flag. And I mean, I don't think it's parody.
- 42:47I don't think it's parody. I think it's basically like, if you start
- 42:51making allowances for everything, then there's no there's no bottom. The book that
- 42:57Janice was talking about is called Gender Trouble Judith Butler. So here's that's it.
- 43:01Yeah, that's it right there, so you guys could see it.
- 43:04I hope it's not in reverse on your side, but but yeah, so
- 43:09and against Essentially, I think this is important because it's not avoidable. Janna
- 43:15says. Anyone who thinks trans was not promoted within feminism as a crucial part
- 43:21of women's lib has to read Judas Butler's writings. She called for bodies to
- 43:24become the site of a dissonant and de naturalized performance that reveals the performative status
- 43:31of the natural itself. So that basically means like that, you know,
- 43:36we have to show people that gender is not real and people should be able
- 43:39to dress however they like. Now. I never had a problem with drag
- 43:44queens before. I always thought of it as something fun, you know,
- 43:46like going to watch clowns in the circus. But it's become political. And
- 43:52this is why I say, you know, everything is political. There's nothing
- 43:55you can do about it. I know you don't want to say that,
- 43:58but it's just what it is. And I think we're gonna so up here
- 44:04on September twenty second, apparently there is a protest on in all the major
- 44:09you know, provincial capitals, and I believe in Ottawa too, and it's
- 44:13leave our kids alone. Yeah, and it's that this guy that sounds like
- 44:17fascism to me. I believe that's Billboard Chris and uh, I believe it's
- 44:24a Muslim woman that has what do you call it? Organized it right?
- 44:30And this is kind of weird, Like this is like, I can't believe
- 44:34Trudeau didn't see this one coming. You know this, and you're gonna like
- 44:39whoa man, like, like, why don't you just I'll tell you,
- 44:44you know, just standing in a in a in a pool, a kiddie
- 44:47pool full of gasoline flick matches there, I'm sure you'll get the same result.
- 44:52Because man, you're just torching your political career here. So yeah,
- 44:59when you when when when tolerance is your is what you claim to be the
- 45:04highest virtue, it is it is unattainable because some things just don't play nice
- 45:10together. And I think the LGBT and Islam are an example of that.
- 45:16So that's what you're gonna get. Listen, They've got great balcony views.
- 45:21I hear, yeah, right, it's like a ride. But so anyways,
- 45:29let me so right now, they got the drag Queen Story Hour and
- 45:34it's and and and like my mind, no, get the fuck out of
- 45:38the elementary schools, all right, maybe you know, graduation or something at
- 45:43high school where they're like eighteen, but no, the hell away from the
- 45:49kids, all right. And my position, you know, so I'm gonna
- 45:52say, hit eighteen, go with God, all the power to you,
- 45:54whatever floats your boat, as long as it's consensual, don't care, all
- 45:59right, none of my business. That's one thing that the Trudeau senior got
- 46:04right. The government has no business in the bedroom, right, So that's
- 46:09one thing that you know, at least he got that right. But anyway,
- 46:13so they're bringing him into the schools and at like elementary ages, and
- 46:19I find this to be just wrong. And I'm gonna point to how does
- 46:23a kid learn to talk? What do they do? They mimic, They
- 46:28mimic their parents, They watch the lips and then they you know, they
- 46:30do the same acts. So what on God's green earth does these do?
- 46:35These kids need to know how to shimmy shake whatever, you know, because
- 46:39the one, the one book is the hips on the on the training go
- 46:44swish, swish whish or something like that. Yeah, I know it.
- 46:46Yeah yeah, so no, just get the hell out. And as a
- 46:51matter of fact, okay, fine, if that's the way that you're going
- 46:52to be inclusion, all right, let's go full inclusion. I say,
- 46:57we get some we get some hot looking day sure from you know, the
- 47:00peeler bar there, and we introduced them to the gay young man, say
- 47:05diversity and inclusion, fully diverse, fully inclusive, and we get some swinging
- 47:09dinglings for the you know, the young lesbian girls. Is that the diversity
- 47:14and inclusion? Yeah, yep. It's a rather weird political position for me
- 47:21to take. As a matter of fact, I hope people are catching my
- 47:23hyperbolic satire. Yeah, I think we're all on the same page. But
- 47:30yeah, if you guys are curious, read up on some Judith Butler and
- 47:32some Paolo Fieri. I think he was one of the well commies. I'm
- 47:38just gonna call them commies. I'm gonna keep it simple. That was involved
- 47:43with pushing the queer, this queer stuff on children, queering the children.
- 47:49So that's why this is happening. So what about and what about Simone Deboubier,
- 47:54Yeah yeah, and the second Saxon who cult wasn't when did she with
- 48:01yeah for co too? And didn't she say that all children should be raised
- 48:07by the state sort of deal or oh yeah, oh yeah, I mean
- 48:09like Hillary Clinton said that, so you know, Black Lives Matter says that,
- 48:15right, it's it was on their charter. I mean they got I
- 48:16think they took it down, but but yeah, they said that, you
- 48:21know, children should be raised by villages, uh that are composed of was
- 48:25it mothers? Uh? And and basically just women, grandmother's aunts, you
- 48:31know, no no men, no fathers, no, no dad's allowed.
- 48:36So oh yeah that'll work out. Well yeah that yeah, exactly, So
- 48:42go ahead. I can't wait to see those women plumbers the yeah plumber barbies
- 48:49everywhere. Uh funny, she don't look like you don't look like Barbie.
- 48:58We must dash. So what's what are your what do you got going on
- 49:05right now? Like you have plans you mentioned that you were gonna be maybe
- 49:09going on to the walk. I'm curious about what your what your next sort
- 49:13of goals are? What plans you have for the rest of this year and
- 49:16going in next year? All right? All right, yes, yes,
- 49:20relaxed. Do you want to walk? Is that what you want to do?
- 49:22You want to walk? And I'm gonna take you guys on a walk.
- 49:25That's fine. We we got about like ten minutes left, so yeah,
- 49:29you can start walking if you want. Yeah, he wants to go.
- 49:32He wants Oh no, he wants to say hi Matt to Magic and
- 49:35Dave. That's why he's whining. That's magic. Oh hey, yeah,
- 49:44all right, that's why whining. All right. Yeah, he wanted to
- 49:49say hi to the neighbors there. Yeah. Yeah, it's a popular place
- 49:52for for for us to sit around and uh, you know, walk our
- 49:55dogs. We love you know, we love our dogs around here. It's
- 49:58awesome. I can't complain it at all. So my plans, I'm gearing
- 50:02up her. I think, jeez, it's gonna be getting on eight or
- 50:07ninth walk. It's just gonna be a short one to Toronto. I am
- 50:13to be honest with you, I'm I'm slightly concerned about this year's walk,
- 50:16and I've never been really concerned about them before. People are desperate. Yeah,
- 50:22what do you mean by what do you mean by desperate? Whall?
- 50:27They're living in tents and they're hungry and you know, oh, and so
- 50:30there's a there's some homeless a homeless problem or is it is it migrants?
- 50:34Oh yeah, yeah, there's yeah, there's like like okay, so we've
- 50:37got I think I looked at the last numbers. I think they said nineteen
- 50:40hundred people homeless in Hamilton's city alone. In Toronto. It's crazy. It's
- 50:45even worse like Alan Park, Alan Gardens is full of tents. All of
- 50:52them are full of tents. Like it's just absolutely insane. Yeah, Chicago
- 50:59is too, That's what you know. I lived in Chicago from from my
- 51:02whole life. I was born there. I lived like two blocks from the
- 51:06hospital I was delivered in. And in twenty twenty, you know, well
- 51:12actually I saw it starting like in twenty seventeen, there was more and more
- 51:16homeless, and there were tents and you know, people living in the parks
- 51:21and like in tents out of their cars and so on, and they all
- 51:24had mental health issues and drug addiction. And then like some people broke into
- 51:30the place where my wife works, my wife, Lindsay, who's from Calgary,
- 51:36and you know that's not something that I mean, you know, there's
- 51:37parts of Calory that they are kind of sketchy, but it wasn't like it
- 51:40is in Chicago. And I was like, we gotta get out of here.
- 51:44So, you know, we did some research. Paul Elam actually,
- 51:47who lives right here in the same city as me, he said, you
- 51:51should come to Roanoke, Virginia, and I said, all right, And
- 51:53we looked into it and I was like, wow, you know, cause
- 51:55living's low, crime is low, like it's a quiet, you know,
- 52:00smaller city, but like it was nice. And so we came here.
- 52:02I had to get on there, and from what I heard, it got
- 52:06so bad in Chicago there's like tensent O'Hare airport. There's all kinds of homeless
- 52:10people. People are like, you know, urinating and defecating, and they're
- 52:15doing drugs and they're fighting with each other. It's crazy. So yeah,
- 52:20I mean, this is not obviously not unique to Canada, but it's also
- 52:23a big problem in America, and not just on the West Coast, which
- 52:27is where it's probably the worst, but it's bad in Boston, Baltimore,
- 52:30New York. It's it's bad. Yeah, So I'm a little concerned about
- 52:35that. But then I'm you know again, I think about, wow,
- 52:37what if that stick or doesn't get seen, you know what I mean,
- 52:42it just needs to be like I call I call them life saving lottery tickets
- 52:45because they've got the National Suicide Hotline number on right, So all it's got
- 52:50to douce, just catch the right you know, that that person who's who's
- 52:52looking for somebody to talk to at the right time, and then there,
- 52:55you know, that's it they get into. Maybe it's not the best help,
- 53:00but maybe it stops them from being a becoming a statistic and then maybe
- 53:04they can get better help. Yeah, and also maybe in those areas that
- 53:07those people are looking for that, you know. Yeah, do you ever,
- 53:10like, do you ever end up talking to people on the street while
- 53:13you're putting up stakers about this? I break bread with the homeless all the
- 53:16time, I really do. I don't. I'm not like, I'm not.
- 53:22I don't find any value and treat them any really any different. I
- 53:29don't find any value in that at all. I find that, you know
- 53:31what, the rest of the society's already looking down on them. Why should
- 53:36I look down on them? It doesn't help their matters at all. If
- 53:38I've got spare socks, I give them socks if I've got spare food,
- 53:43I give them food. I've always got water for them, you know,
- 53:46it doesn't you know, just things like that, and and those things come
- 53:50from you know, people who you know see me on the street, donate.
- 53:53I've talked to so many, you know, my my phrases, uh,
- 53:59seventy five percent of the time, it's mothers and daughters left left variants,
- 54:02sons and fathers, the suicide, you know, and these are the
- 54:06hard real things. So it's mostly you know, mothers and daughters and sisters
- 54:09and whatnot that I end up interacting with on the street. I find,
- 54:17I find no no goodness in turning a blind eye to any person in trouble
- 54:24when I go into Hamilton's, Like, I'm surprised actually the last few times
- 54:28I went into Hamilton I didn't have to shake somebody away, you know,
- 54:32if there was still a pulse. And the last person I shook to see
- 54:36if they were awake, it was a woman. So you know, like
- 54:38it doesn't matter, Like this is just like a god awful thing that has
- 54:42just taken down, are you Like you wouldn't believe at least the way I
- 54:45see it. So I'm a little concerned about that. I'm going to be
- 54:49pushing the substances aren't solutions thing because I feel that that really really needs to
- 54:55be addressed. End of mine. Just lost her son this past year to
- 55:05an overdose, and uh, you know I went to school with her,
- 55:07and you know, you know it's starting to hit you know, my my
- 55:10friends kids now and I and I worry about this. It really worries me.
- 55:17I am do you know what? Do you know what he odd on
- 55:21out of curiosity? It was probably fentyl. Yeah, I was gonna say,
- 55:27because fentyl's getting it's like it's it's getting around. There's this thing that's
- 55:30worse and I think people have started doing and the Boston or Zoe or yeah,
- 55:37it's just it's it's the zombie thing like yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 55:43it's a it's a horse tranquilizer. Yeah, the fentyl based horse tranquilizer sort
- 55:49of. But then on top of it, what the uh what do you
- 55:52call it? The first responders ambulance drivers are telling me now, is that
- 55:59what they're doing is they're mixing the fentnyl with a PAM as a PAM or
- 56:04something like that. Yeah, so that the fentnyl or not the fentyl the
- 56:08uh, the lox alone doesn't work. So it's basically a death sentence.
- 56:16It's a it's a you know, you don't come out of it sort of
- 56:19going, it's horrible. I've watched them. I watched them bring back somebody.
- 56:24The phrase that they kept on using, the the the overdose team kept
- 56:30on using have we got a batter up? Have we got a batter up?
- 56:32And the only thing that made sense to me in that phrase was that
- 56:37they were, you know, have they got a pulse? And that woman
- 56:42that it was another woman that I just happened to witness. They there was
- 56:45two syringes, empty knock and a lox alone syringes, but I watched them
- 56:51pump into her and then there was three nasal ones that were by her body
- 56:54too, So that's like five doses just to get her back to a pulse.
- 57:00And it's just it's just chilling, like just just ravaging. Wow.
- 57:06And the crime rates up, it's up so high that I had we had
- 57:09a pickup truck stolen out of our backyard the other night. Yeah, yeah,
- 57:16and I'm missing all kinds of things I lose, you know, people
- 57:19steal things from me. And I'm getting fed up with it. I'm really
- 57:24really tired of that. Yeah. Yeah, I got to a point where
- 57:28I actually put up a security camera on my front door. Oh wow.
- 57:35And then one and the one kid kept on screwing with it, but he
- 57:37moved on now, So that's good enough for me. Other than that,
- 57:43yeah, you know, I'm I'm about to order, uh make an order
- 57:47or for a mural or wrap for this year's cart. I've gone from steel
- 57:52to aluminum. That old cart that was a heavy, old beast cart,
- 57:55Zellaway fully loaded. She was rocking three hundred pounds. I bent U five
- 58:00eights electric scooter axle carrying that baby. So yeah, but she gotta you
- 58:08know, she did what she was supposed to do. Yeah, you got
- 58:12the conversation started, and that was you know, that's the main thing.
- 58:16Just get the conversation for me right now at you know, as big,
- 58:21you know, as small as I am, just getting conversation and started.
- 58:24Yep. That's the main thing. Yeah, same same here. That's my
- 58:28number one goal is just get people talking. Don't worry about you know,
- 58:31putting your foot in your mouth or not saying something quite right, just like
- 58:35put out your what you think and like and just you know, get ready
- 58:38for feedback and go from there. I h so we we've reached the hour
- 58:45mark. So I'm gonna wrap it up. But I wanted to ask one
- 58:47more thing. Is it possible for people to get the stickers that you've been
- 58:52putting up if they wanted to put up stickers in their area. I don't
- 58:57know how this works, but just top it, do it and tag it.
- 59:01So just copy it from where the website, your Twitter, like,
- 59:06where do you get it? Twitter feed wherever? If you they can reach
- 59:08out to me if they want, you know, the design. It's open
- 59:13concept. As a matter of fact, I've got an open concept or I've
- 59:16got the number for UK already set up. I should be making one for
- 59:22United States. Like yeah, like you don't just take the design, make
- 59:28use of it. Yeah, there, and then just put it up there
- 59:30and just include the hashtag project JEB. That's it all right. You can
- 59:35just you can print it up at a you know, Kinko's or whatever.
- 59:39Yeah, wherever you can get it, and then you guys can share some
- 59:43stickers in your area. Probably get some made and share them around here in
- 59:46Roanoke. You know, it's yeah, you're gonna need to change that number.
- 59:51Yeah. Well yeah, I'll get the right number and then do it.
- 59:54Sorry, all right, so yeah, let me have a couple of
- 59:58last words here. Yeah. Sure, And I encourage folks to become a
- 1:00:01JEBI warrior, be a force for good, raise awareness about men's mental health.
