Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: That goes well with everything. Put it on a cracker,
- 0:03Speaker 1: put it on total noodles from pasta. I read something
- 0:06Speaker 1: today that couples that choose pasta over what was the thing?
- 0:11Speaker 1: It was something about pay I was all prepared then
- 0:15Speaker 1: I wasn't prepared. I'm gonna bring this up for it
- 0:17Speaker 1: was study finds eating pasta brings more happiness than music. Okay,
- 0:24Speaker 1: I mean I especially around here when all the radio
- 0:27Speaker 1: stations play country and that shit makes you sad, So
- 0:30Speaker 1: eat the pasta. Stop with the country. But what you're
- 0:33Speaker 1: hearing with me as mad as Beard Laws, you know this.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You know you're not here for the first time in
- 0:37Speaker 1: stay out of my fridge. And if you are, then
- 0:38Speaker 1: joining me as always as Brandon Jay McDermott and you
- 0:42Speaker 1: been whatck enough up? Dudes?
- 0:46Speaker 2: I what?
- 0:49Speaker 1: It's been a week. It has been a week for
- 0:53Speaker 1: all of us. Some of it's good, some of it
- 0:55Speaker 1: not so good. But it's it's been a week dead
- 0:58Speaker 1: life has been pretty chao. I think that's been the tone.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Usually we do the recording on one day and we're
- 1:04Speaker 1: you guys, don't care, but we're doing it a day
- 1:06Speaker 1: later because dad life got in the way. Obviously, you
- 1:10Speaker 1: guys know, basketball, basketball, basketball, especially for us. And the
- 1:14Speaker 1: kid made a kind of a good point, was Dad,
- 1:17Speaker 1: how come how come the NBA plays during the winter
- 1:19Speaker 1: and we do too as well, but the w NBA
- 1:21Speaker 1: doesn't start till spring? And I was like, I don't know,
- 1:25Speaker 1: I don't run either of those leagues, but that is something.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Go ahead and message Caitlin Clark at.
- 1:31Speaker 3: How come their balls are smaller? You know what I mean?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Hey, my guess is too uh the competition of judging
- 1:39Speaker 2: between an NBA and a w NBA game, They're probably
- 1:42Speaker 2: gonna get more viewership when there's no basketball.
- 1:44Speaker 3: On, you know what I mean? Yeah, do you know
- 1:46Speaker 3: what I want to I want to see. I want
- 1:48Speaker 3: to see the NBA play with the woman's ball and
- 1:51Speaker 3: see a if it would be a detriment to them
- 1:54Speaker 3: because it's just it's too small, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:57Speaker 3: But b like, I bet they'd be like just.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Space jam type stuff, fucking.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Just passing it around the whole, you know, like even
- 2:07Speaker 3: more than they normally do.
- 2:08Speaker 1: You know, why don't they play with a weighted ball?
- 2:10Speaker 1: That would be fun too. I'm bouncing five pounder. There's
- 2:16Speaker 1: probably all sorts of weird leagues. I mean, I was
- 2:18Speaker 1: even seeing a league that was mixing football hockey. There's
- 2:23Speaker 1: some crazy stuff in other countries that we're really missing
- 2:25Speaker 1: out over here.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I can't wait for it to pick up over here,
- 2:28Speaker 2: just because it's like all these I love when like
- 2:30Speaker 2: a new sport comes down, it starts taking waves and stuff.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Like I remember pickleball was like nothing, and now you
- 2:35Speaker 2: see that shit everywhere, you know what I mean everywhere.
- 2:38Speaker 1: But the amount of pickleball injuries that are happening, it's unbelievable.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I mean, let's be honest. At some point, you have
- 2:46Speaker 1: to turn off the competitiveness, at least in sports, unless
- 2:50Speaker 1: you're a premier, top tier athlete. Like for me, I
- 2:53Speaker 1: turned that switch off about five years ago. I said,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you know what, I'm not playing pickup ball anymore. I'm
- 2:58Speaker 1: not doing this, not because I don't think I couldn't,
- 3:00Speaker 1: but because the what is it? The risk outweighs the whatever,
- 3:05Speaker 1: because you get hurt, can't do your job, can't put
- 3:09Speaker 1: food on the table. I live in a house full
- 3:12Speaker 1: of women. I don't have food on that table.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's hell, that's a dangerous recipe, and that's you you
- 3:19Speaker 2: don't want that. You don't want that at all. And no,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I mean the orthopedic people are going to be making
- 3:24Speaker 2: a killing with how many people are getting injured in
- 3:26Speaker 2: racket or not racketball. But pickle ball got out.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Racketball though, that was a hell of a lot of fun.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I loved racketball.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Dude.
- 3:33Speaker 2: My cousin was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base and
- 3:37Speaker 2: I remember like whenever he came over, he was just like, hey,
- 3:40Speaker 2: you know, I'm in the Air Force. I have this
- 3:43Speaker 2: cool job. I'm on Nellis Air Force Base. And I'm like,
- 3:45Speaker 2: this guy is like a machine gun or something. I'm like,
- 3:48Speaker 2: he has a cool job. I was like, I want
- 3:50Speaker 2: to see it. I think he takes us on base,
- 3:52Speaker 2: shows us all this cool shit. And then we get
- 3:53Speaker 2: to the rec center and he goes this is where
- 3:56Speaker 2: I work, and I was like, dude, you you run
- 3:58Speaker 2: a gym. It's like out here. I was like, thank
- 4:02Speaker 2: you for your service over here making sure the racketballs
- 4:04Speaker 2: are going back into the tubes. You know.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Oh, is he air Force employee or was he a
- 4:09Speaker 1: civilian on the base.
- 4:11Speaker 2: No, he was. He was enlisted, so he's okay, yeah,
- 4:14Speaker 2: but he was that was one of his jobs apparently
- 4:16Speaker 2: on base was Yeah, so that's how he made his money.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And it was awesome because he's like, hey, my mom
- 4:21Speaker 2: was like, hey, can you watch the boys today? And
- 4:23Speaker 2: he's like, hell yeah, I'm taking him to work. He's like,
- 4:25Speaker 2: you guys want to go play basketball all day? Racquetball,
- 4:27Speaker 2: Olympic sized pool, all this stuff. He goes all day.
- 4:31Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, that sounds awful. Please don't make
- 4:33Speaker 2: us go. No, it was so fun.
- 4:37Speaker 3: You ever, I'm gonna, like we always do, We're gonna
- 4:41Speaker 3: go off into a little tangent. Do you ever meet
- 4:43Speaker 3: anybody who and we're touching some weird waters with this one,
- 4:46Speaker 3: but do you ever meet anybody who kind of, instead
- 4:48Speaker 3: of supports the troops, puts down the troops? Yes, that's
- 4:53Speaker 3: a good and at least not publicly. What I mean
- 4:55Speaker 3: by that is here, I'll give you an example. You
- 4:57Speaker 3: bring up what you just said. I had a cousin
- 5:00Speaker 3: who had a stepdad. Now this is probably part of
- 5:04Speaker 3: the reason because it's his stepdad, but his stepdad served
- 5:06Speaker 3: in Noam. He was served in Vietnam, right, he was
- 5:09Speaker 3: an Vietnam veteran. Well, his dad was he was military
- 5:13Speaker 3: police on base right or on post. Excuse me, So
- 5:17Speaker 3: he served as military police on an army post, like
- 5:20Speaker 3: at an army post. So he wasn't infantry out in
- 5:24Speaker 3: the field, right, or airborne or anything like that. Wasn't
- 5:27Speaker 3: a machine gunner. So my cousin was putting a down.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Was like, you didn't even see action. So like, I'll
- 5:35Speaker 3: give you another example. Had somebody run for mayor recently
- 5:37Speaker 3: who won? He's now the Hastings mayor. J Beckby shot
- 5:40Speaker 3: out he was in the military for decades. I don't
- 5:46Speaker 3: want to try to put a number on it, but
- 5:48Speaker 3: there were people online was like, oh, he only served
- 5:50Speaker 3: in the National Guard, Like that's a put down or
- 5:53Speaker 3: something like. So, like there's people who will put like, damn, dude,
- 5:56Speaker 3: really this is what we're doing. So you ever met
- 5:58Speaker 3: anybody like that who who tries to make distinctions and like, oh,
- 6:01Speaker 3: that's not actually the blank blank blank.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I know you bean has So I'm gona I'm gonna
- 6:05Speaker 1: save the best for last, as they say, because I
- 6:07Speaker 1: think the only ones that I've personally ever seen is
- 6:10Speaker 1: kind of branch versus branch messing, like an army guy saying,
- 6:15Speaker 1: you know, or a Marine saying the army sucks, or
- 6:17Speaker 1: the Army saying the air Force is the chair force.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I've seen that, but at the end of the day,
- 6:21Speaker 1: I don't think it's actual hate but.
- 6:23Speaker 3: From the outside, from from civilians.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, And I don't think a civilian has
- 6:28Speaker 1: any place to say anything but that that's our that's
- 6:30Speaker 1: our take. But I don't know a bottle.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I can't speak on anything.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Same. I was never as they say, I would say
- 6:38Speaker 1: man enough. But now that's that's a I can't say
- 6:41Speaker 1: that anymore. Twenty twenty five. I was never brave enough,
- 6:43Speaker 1: or it wasn't It just wasn't something that I was
- 6:46Speaker 1: interested in.
- 6:47Speaker 2: But eban, so I was gonna just exactly say what
- 6:51Speaker 2: you guys wanna say. Is the it was branch versus branch.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So I had a guy that was so he would
- 6:56Speaker 2: ship on them the guard well because he was like,
- 6:58Speaker 2: oh that's he's the guard. He's not really really serving
- 7:02Speaker 2: and everything. You know, Like but they all respect each other,
- 7:06Speaker 2: you know, but they do. That's the only time that
- 7:08Speaker 2: I really heard it as well was amongst each other.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I think there's only a couple of things that we
- 7:12Speaker 1: all agree on. We love our troops and we hate
- 7:15Speaker 1: our cowboys. I think that's the only thing American really
- 7:18Speaker 1: can get behind.
- 7:19Speaker 3: They're definitely, yes, there definitely is an undercurrent that I've seen,
- 7:23Speaker 3: and I'm sure you guys have two of people who
- 7:25Speaker 3: anonymously are saying online terrible things about troops about you know,
- 7:29Speaker 3: like you know nowadays isn't the same as it was
- 7:32Speaker 3: in World War Two? Right, You're not fighting for our
- 7:35Speaker 3: freedom so to speak, right, you're fighting for oil is
- 7:38Speaker 3: the argument that I always hear and stuff, And it's like, dude,
- 7:41Speaker 3: what an oversimplified, terrible opinion to have.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Wait, they're trying to say that, you know, things are
- 7:48Speaker 1: different now than in the forties, right, weird. I would
- 7:51Speaker 1: have never imagined. Of course, it's different. Everything's different.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And you know what's going to be really different is
- 7:56Speaker 2: when we're about sixteen seventy and we start talking about
- 8:00Speaker 2: the forties as it and being like ten years ago.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So that's kind damn bro.
- 8:07Speaker 3: I'm telling you. Every time, like I get okay with
- 8:11Speaker 3: being older, I get older and it's like, oh man,
- 8:15Speaker 3: I was okay with thirty, and now I'm looking at
- 8:17Speaker 3: the doorstep of forty and I'm like, oh fuck.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Man, it's mentally really not weighing on me. Like I'm
- 8:24Speaker 1: not sitting here saying like I need to, you know,
- 8:27Speaker 1: go to therapy tomorrow or anything like. But I'm gonna
- 8:30Speaker 1: be forty in a couple of weeks. And it's just
- 8:32Speaker 1: got me thinking like a different, weird mindset. I don't know,
- 8:37Speaker 1: it's just because as morbid as it sounds, it could
- 8:41Speaker 1: maybe I've already hit the halfway point. But maybe this
- 8:44Speaker 1: is the halfway point. And as I'm scrolling, of course,
- 8:46Speaker 1: your phones really know what you're thinking, what you're saying.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And as I was thinking today, I'm like Jesus chrying forty,
- 8:52Speaker 1: don't I see? I know a good old Gary v
- 8:54Speaker 1: post speaking to me. And it's like, forty is a
- 8:58Speaker 1: very fascinating age. People they start reflecting on their lives
- 9:01Speaker 1: when they hit their forties. They think they've already peaked.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Like you're speaking to me, Gary Vee. Truth is, forty
- 9:08Speaker 1: isn't even halftime, Like all right, here comes motivational Gary Vee.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Even if you have a mortgage, you have too much debt,
- 9:15Speaker 1: too much responsibility, you have so much time to turn
- 9:17Speaker 1: things around. It's fascinating what can happen to your life
- 9:20Speaker 1: if you give yourself some grace, So he says to all,
- 9:22Speaker 1: my forty something's out there, please change your perspective. You'll
- 9:26Speaker 1: be stunned by how it changes your life. Read it
- 9:30Speaker 1: this morning. My life hasn't changed one bit, Gary Vee,
- 9:32Speaker 1: you son of a bitch, piece of shit. I like
- 9:36Speaker 1: that because you know, we've talked about this backstage a
- 9:40Speaker 1: little bit, but will come on here and we make
- 9:42Speaker 1: you know, Seemen jokes and dick jokes and this and that.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, we're all we're
- 9:45Speaker 1: all dads, and right now we're in some you know,
- 9:49Speaker 1: we're all in different stages of life, but at the
- 9:52Speaker 1: same point, like we go through spurts where all of
- 9:54Speaker 1: a sudden it's like we're broke, How are we gonna
- 9:57Speaker 1: make this bill meet? How are we gonna do this?
- 9:59Speaker 1: Oh my god? Forty four? But then you look and
- 10:01Speaker 1: I kind of said something to Brandon today. I'm like,
- 10:03Speaker 1: you know, in a couple of years because I was,
- 10:06Speaker 1: I was like, man, we are so goddamn busy. We've
- 10:08Speaker 1: been in a gym like seven days, this and that,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and I said, you know what, though, when your kids
- 10:12Speaker 1: are starting to go through this because Brandon made the joke.
- 10:14Speaker 1: He's like, remind me in a couple of years to
- 10:16Speaker 1: make sure my kids read a lot of books. And
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'm like, you know it's gonna hit. It's gonna hit
- 10:21Speaker 1: to the point where you know your kids are gonna
- 10:23Speaker 1: be going through the sports and all of this stuff
- 10:25Speaker 1: here and my kids are gonna I'm gonna be like
- 10:27Speaker 1: an empty nester and I'm gonna be like missing the
- 10:30Speaker 1: hell out of it, and it's it's just a wild ride,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and then they're gone, and then all of a sudden,
- 10:34Speaker 1: it's like I remember like my parents' journey, like struggling
- 10:38Speaker 1: getting through it, doing as much as they could for us,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, we're out of there, and
- 10:42Speaker 1: now they get to go on cruises every goddamn month.
- 10:44Speaker 1: They're retired early. I'm like, I was really holding them back.
- 10:49Speaker 2: You expensive fuck right? No, that's uh, that's like my
- 10:54Speaker 2: wife always reminds me. She's like, we are gonna miss this,
- 10:57Speaker 2: and I'm like, damn, I really don't right now, Like
- 11:00Speaker 2: I'm just not a fan of it right now. But
- 11:03Speaker 2: I know you and I were texting about just NonStop
- 11:07Speaker 2: gym time and just different sports and just I even
- 11:10Speaker 2: found I got I got volunteered to ref a tournament,
- 11:14Speaker 2: and I'm like, what in the world am I doing?
- 11:17Speaker 2: And I actually heard that most people after like thirty five,
- 11:23Speaker 2: It's like a high percentage will not sprint anymore. I
- 11:27Speaker 2: have no reason to run in a full sprint, right,
- 11:31Speaker 2: and so I'm just like damn. So I'm like reffing
- 11:33Speaker 2: and I am just booking it. These little third and
- 11:35Speaker 2: fourth graders have some wheels.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Dude.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I have this whistle in my mouth and I'm breathing.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Exhaling is so hard that the whistle goes off, so
- 11:44Speaker 2: they just stop real quick. I'm like, just fat, don't
- 11:47Speaker 2: worry about me. That was not as enough, No foul,
- 11:49Speaker 2: don't worry.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Did you get did you get screamed at by some parents?
- 11:55Speaker 2: So I'm not gonna lie. I made one big booboo.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I spaced out because these two girls were going wean
- 12:01Speaker 2: at it. I had to keep separating them because they
- 12:03Speaker 2: were throwing elbows, throwing fist and I'm like, I was
- 12:06Speaker 2: seriously one one more time and like, you guys are
- 12:08Speaker 2: both done. I was like, this is this is supposed
- 12:10Speaker 2: to be fun. What the hell are you doing?
- 12:12Speaker 3: Uh?
- 12:13Speaker 2: So I'm like waiting for it, and I'm looking for
- 12:14Speaker 2: my intentions on that, and I just hear, oh, my god,
- 12:17Speaker 2: can I get the freaking time out? I go, oh shit, yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 2: I'm out. She's like, my god, and I'm like, I
- 12:25Speaker 2: didn't hear her say that. Once I look at the
- 12:28Speaker 2: timetable and they're like, oh, easily like a minute, like screaming,
- 12:33Speaker 2: and I'm like, yeah, I did not hear it. So,
- 12:36Speaker 2: uh did I get screened at? Yes? Did I deserve it? Absolutely?
- 12:40Speaker 2: That was rough first time though, So that was that
- 12:43Speaker 2: was their fault.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And the gym that we played this weekend it was
- 12:47Speaker 1: even worse for referees and sometimes even players because they
- 12:51Speaker 1: took the one gym and it's a it's a larger gym,
- 12:55Speaker 1: and they're they're built to do it, but they split
- 12:57Speaker 1: them in half, so you're playing sideway, which it's almost
- 13:01Speaker 1: a full court, but it's definitely not full court, you
- 13:04Speaker 1: know what I mean. Then they line each side on
- 13:07Speaker 1: the outsides with chairs with parents, so there's two rows
- 13:10Speaker 1: of chairs and then parents just standing everywhere. The middle
- 13:14Speaker 1: is all of the players in the score table, so
- 13:16Speaker 1: I mean you are just on top of the players.
- 13:19Speaker 1: The game I mean the ball. You're pretty much throwing
- 13:23Speaker 1: the ball in while sitting on somebody's lap, you know
- 13:25Speaker 1: what I mean. And those refs. I was talking to
- 13:28Speaker 1: one of the guys after and he's like, yep, he
- 13:31Speaker 1: goes out, I'll do one day. I don't do the
- 13:33Speaker 1: double anymore because these parents, they just get too spazzy
- 13:36Speaker 1: to coaches, Like, all of these people forget that this
- 13:39Speaker 1: is supposed to be fun and developmental, Like they're freaking
- 13:42Speaker 1: out over a thirty seven cent metal that you might
- 13:44Speaker 1: win at the end.
- 13:46Speaker 2: It's it's even some of the fans like you'll hear
- 13:50Speaker 2: some of the parents like come on, come on, And
- 13:52Speaker 2: I'm like, and like, there was one where you can
- 13:54Speaker 2: clearly hear that it was all ball, you know, and
- 13:57Speaker 2: the parent, the mom just got very upset and made
- 14:00Speaker 2: eye contact with me, you know and everything. But uh,
- 14:03Speaker 2: those were the only two times because I did remember
- 14:05Speaker 2: her too. Yeah, she sucked.
- 14:07Speaker 1: If you ever get into a situation this, are you sure?
- 14:10Speaker 3: Did you ask her husband?
- 14:10Speaker 1: I mean, oh, sorry, single mom?
- 14:13Speaker 2: So she was she was sitting alone for good reason.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yep. But my favorite move is is I've had to
- 14:21Speaker 1: pull I've had to pull this move a couple of
- 14:23Speaker 1: times is when they start freaking out over the top.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I stopped the game, make it a production, and go
- 14:29Speaker 1: take off the whistle, hand it to them, sit right
- 14:31Speaker 1: down and go all right, go ahead. This game will
- 14:34Speaker 1: not continue until you go. You know this game better
- 14:37Speaker 1: than I do. Go on, volunteer your time, just like
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'm volunteering mine, and then we'll resume play. The last
- 14:43Speaker 1: one that I did it that the dad, grandfather and
- 14:46Speaker 1: uncle whatever is a dude. And he was just like
- 14:48Speaker 1: point take and I will not say another goddamn word,
- 14:51Speaker 1: and I say, good God back to the court.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It's always allowedest people that you never see actually volunteering
- 14:59Speaker 2: to work the concessions in you know, just doing anything
- 15:02Speaker 2: to help contribute at all. And then you got my ass,
- 15:04Speaker 2: who shouldn't be done with the public at all, especially
- 15:06Speaker 2: in a school setting. Hell, but there I am every
- 15:10Speaker 2: damn time doing my practical community service. I'm keeping a
- 15:14Speaker 2: track too, so that way if I ever get in
- 15:16Speaker 2: trouble and there're go, you need to do like two
- 15:18Speaker 2: hours of community service like I got four hundred years, sir?
- 15:21Speaker 2: What else can I fuck up here? In an hour?
- 15:22Speaker 1: You know? Time already served? Does it work? Like that
- 15:24Speaker 1: with community service, can you pre your community service kind
- 15:27Speaker 1: of like jail time. Well, sir, I've already been in
- 15:29Speaker 1: here six months and I only got eight months good behavior,
- 15:31Speaker 1: am I out?
- 15:34Speaker 2: It's gotta be a thing. Hey, lawyers in the comments,
- 15:37Speaker 2: please tell us is that a thing? It should?
- 15:39Speaker 1: You think lawyers are listening to us. Not even my
- 15:42Speaker 1: lawyer listens to us.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I forgot too that he's off of uh, that he's
- 15:49Speaker 2: off probation. Let's go. Hey.
- 15:53Speaker 1: But at the end of the day too, like you're
- 15:56Speaker 1: doing this and we kid around and bitch about it enough,
- 15:59Speaker 1: but it's like we're doing this to build memories for
- 16:01Speaker 1: the kids. Hopefully that they see this and someday they
- 16:05Speaker 1: decide not to be pieces of trash and you know,
- 16:07Speaker 1: they kind of continually do good things with their life.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And you know, with the memories and the kids, there's
- 16:15Speaker 1: one thing that we do that I think is absolutely
- 16:17Speaker 1: hilarious that if the kids actually listen to this, which
- 16:20Speaker 1: they know they're not allowed to, they'll probably get super embarrassed.
- 16:22Speaker 1: But so in our laundry room is the is a
- 16:26Speaker 1: bathroom as well, and that's usually like mine in the
- 16:28Speaker 1: white's bathroom, it's where we shower. It's where I take
- 16:31Speaker 1: all of my dumps. I got the squatty potty, I
- 16:33Speaker 1: got my bidet, like it's my throne. Well, the kids
- 16:38Speaker 1: are older now, so know the little magnets with all
- 16:40Speaker 1: the letters and numbers, the like rainbow colored ones like
- 16:44Speaker 1: some are yellow, some are green, and they're magnetic to
- 16:47Speaker 1: a lot of people. I'm in the fridge. Well, as
- 16:49Speaker 1: we got older, you know, they don't want them on
- 16:51Speaker 1: the fridge, so I put them on the washer at
- 16:52Speaker 1: one point. So now when I'm taking a dump, I
- 16:54Speaker 1: make funny little funny little sayings and stuff like this
- 16:58Speaker 1: kid too did. But there's only limited letters. So next thing,
- 17:01Speaker 1: you know, like I'll go in the next day and
- 17:04Speaker 1: somebody else put a different funny saying. So now it's
- 17:07Speaker 1: like this thing that whenever anybody's peeing or pooping or
- 17:10Speaker 1: doing laundry, which let's be honest, they're not doing it.
- 17:13Speaker 1: There's all these different messages. So I just recently bought
- 17:15Speaker 1: a whole another one hundred pack of them, and we're
- 17:18Speaker 1: just gonna the like's like, you guys are so weird.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I think it's hilarious.
- 17:25Speaker 3: That's fun.
- 17:26Speaker 2: That's hilarious. That's awesome.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so excited to have so many because right
- 17:30Speaker 1: now I think I have like one S one E,
- 17:34Speaker 1: like I can barely spell like two. I can't spell far,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I can't spell poop, can't spell any swear words like
- 17:40Speaker 1: I just I'm gonnah, it's gonna be so much more fun.
- 17:45Speaker 2: So, uh, I think I mentioned this before about have
- 17:48Speaker 2: you guys ever purchased anything on Timu? Yes?
- 17:51Speaker 1: I believe. Yeah, did you guys.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Enjoy your products from Timu or Temu however it's pronounced.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Hey, I'm not going to correct your pronunciation. I'm still
- 18:03Speaker 1: not sure how to say or again or oregon.
- 18:05Speaker 3: So I'll give you a glimpse and do my opinion
- 18:09Speaker 3: of Timu bought. Several items had had very low expectations.
- 18:16Speaker 1: One ticket items are like cheaper items.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Shit, no, no, I think you go on there and
- 18:22Speaker 3: you get like, oh you got a three hundred dollars.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Oh look at this, a free thumb in the butt,
- 18:26Speaker 3: like like free everything, and so you know, I would
- 18:29Speaker 3: have spend like forty bucks to get but you're getting
- 18:32Speaker 3: like eighteen things and you're like, oh man, do I
- 18:34Speaker 3: really want all this shit? But there were two items
- 18:37Speaker 3: that kind of explain how the range that team you
- 18:42Speaker 3: can hold from the small ticket items. The first one
- 18:45Speaker 3: was a pen, a fountain pen that you had to
- 18:47Speaker 3: like actually buy ink for and pour the ink in
- 18:51Speaker 3: there and like, actually you don't pour the ink and there,
- 18:52Speaker 3: you put the pen in there and it like like
- 18:54Speaker 3: a little syringe. Yeah, and the fucking pen stopped working
- 18:59Speaker 3: after like two hours.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You should have just got a quail.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It was a heavy pen that was like a metal
- 19:05Speaker 3: pen was heavy. They're like, actually, like it wasn't plastic
- 19:08Speaker 3: or fake or it was that fucking hefty pen.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Do you have good like you got you guys? You
- 19:12Speaker 1: have good handwriting, like enough where you could spend decent
- 19:14Speaker 1: audio on a nice pen. No, not even a little bit, okay.
- 19:17Speaker 3: But but I write enough, and I'm like when I
- 19:20Speaker 3: when I'm on the show, I take live calls people
- 19:22Speaker 3: by cell trade and I have to do shorthand and
- 19:24Speaker 3: so okay, I want to pen that that flows well
- 19:27Speaker 3: and out a ballpoint because the ballpoint you have to
- 19:28Speaker 3: like push that, you know what I mean?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Anyway, So what are you saying, is hey, pen sponsors
- 19:32Speaker 1: out there slide into Brandon Jay's DMS.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Baby, Yes, uh, but not pen twelve or thirteen. We're
- 19:39Speaker 3: actually specifically looking for number fifteen. Did you see that?
- 19:44Speaker 2: Uh?
- 19:46Speaker 3: On the opposite side, I bought on a whim, like okay, yeah,
- 19:50Speaker 3: throw this extra bullshit in there, whatever, we'll see. It
- 19:53Speaker 3: was a little container that was a held oil cooking
- 19:57Speaker 3: oil and you sprayed it was a little sprayk into you.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Y oh my god, the best kitchen tool I've ever
- 20:02Speaker 3: fucking had. Are you kidding me? Like amazing I could,
- 20:06Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's beautiful. I spray my cast iron
- 20:09Speaker 3: down with the fucking thing, and it's like, oh, why
- 20:11Speaker 3: haven't I used it? Because usually it's like you get
- 20:13Speaker 3: one of those things just to pour the oil, you
- 20:14Speaker 3: have to rub the oil. It's like, oh, fucking spread
- 20:17Speaker 3: there you go. It's perfect.
- 20:18Speaker 1: It's brilliant. That's brilliant for me. On the Tu tamu
- 20:24Speaker 1: whatever you say, I think the only thing I really
- 20:26Speaker 1: bought was a set of the wireless mics, the ones
- 20:30Speaker 1: that you can plug into your phone, and it came
- 20:32Speaker 1: with like a dual set just to try it. And
- 20:35Speaker 1: they were okay, I mean they worked. Two people could
- 20:38Speaker 1: have a conversation, but it was just so not great.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I mean, but I think it was like four ninety
- 20:44Speaker 1: eight or something like that. So I wasn't expecting too much.
- 20:47Speaker 1: But like, I mean, it's not gonna sound like this
- 20:49Speaker 1: by any means, but it shouldn't.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that's uh, my kids always orders. You saw that, right? Yeah?
- 20:59Speaker 3: The light.
- 21:01Speaker 2: The fuck.
- 21:03Speaker 1: So for anybody that's just listening, if you if you
- 21:06Speaker 1: hear this weird thing and we're all looking at you
- 21:08Speaker 1: been on camera, he's got a light thing going on
- 21:10Speaker 1: and we it might be Casper, you might be a
- 21:13Speaker 1: friendly ghost, it could be something. Or for anybody that
- 21:15Speaker 1: doesn't believe in ghosts scientifically prove it to us. Maybe
- 21:19Speaker 1: he's got some faulty wiring in his studio, is in.
- 21:21Speaker 3: A world of trouble.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't Oh yeah, Michael Jackson. When it
- 21:27Speaker 1: doesn't matter if you're white or black.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I've seen people use that with popcorn butter. That's what
- 21:33Speaker 2: I saw. They were like, Hey, we life hack, I'm
- 21:36Speaker 2: gonna use this put popcorn butter in it. I'm like,
- 21:39Speaker 2: that's the fattest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life,
- 21:42Speaker 2: and I want to do it, Like yes, I so, uh,
- 21:46Speaker 2: I want you to get another one and please put
- 21:47Speaker 2: some popcorn butter in it. Let me know if it's
- 21:49Speaker 2: if it's Oh.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Speaking of popcorn, do you guys do the Poppin' popcorn
- 21:54Speaker 1: sales anywhere near you? That's what it's poppin. Yeah, it's
- 21:59Speaker 1: called popping popcorn. And it is a it's a sal
- 22:04Speaker 1: that they like the kids would do, a fundraiser or whatever.
- 22:07Speaker 1: It has to be one of the most brilliant marketing
- 22:13Speaker 1: things of all time. So how it is, it's a
- 22:15Speaker 1: fundraiser set up that the organization that does it and
- 22:19Speaker 1: the company Pop and Popcorn, they split the proceeds fifty
- 22:23Speaker 1: to fifty. It's all done online. And what they do
- 22:26Speaker 1: is they started off with this like power hour, so
- 22:29Speaker 1: you get the whole entire group together for it's a
- 22:32Speaker 1: fifty nine minute sale, and they have a script. They
- 22:36Speaker 1: have this, and then all of the kids just start calling,
- 22:39Speaker 1: texting whatever they want to try to get as many
- 22:41Speaker 1: sales as you can. And then they have goals. If
- 22:44Speaker 1: you sell so much, you get this. If you're in
- 22:46Speaker 1: the top three, you get so much of this. And
- 22:49Speaker 1: it's just they have a lot of popcorn. They have cookies,
- 22:53Speaker 1: all sorts of candy, all this other stuff. And the
- 22:56Speaker 1: only reason. There's a girls basketball program that my daughter's
- 22:59Speaker 1: involved in, and they did the sale and the amount
- 23:02Speaker 1: of money that they made and never have to touch
- 23:06Speaker 1: the product. Like sometimes they'll do pie sales, pizza sales.
- 23:09Speaker 1: They'll come in. You got to deliver all this the
- 23:11Speaker 1: kids just get the sale. It's all done online. It's
- 23:13Speaker 1: all tracked by person to the organization and then it's
- 23:16Speaker 1: directly shipped to them. And if this company is able
- 23:21Speaker 1: to make money giving fifty percent right to you and
- 23:24Speaker 1: then they still get fifty percent, that has to be
- 23:28Speaker 1: a seventy to eighty percent markup on said products. Isn't
- 23:34Speaker 1: that brilliant?
- 23:36Speaker 3: Oh it is? And it is. You tie in the
- 23:40Speaker 3: fundraiser point of view and it's like, oh, heartstrings, and
- 23:44Speaker 3: I guess I'll do it so I don't look like
- 23:46Speaker 3: a bad person.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So it's twenty bucks for a bag of popcorn, the
- 23:49Speaker 1: gourmet popcorn, right And the bag that I got was
- 23:53Speaker 1: twenty three and a half ounces, so I mean it's
- 23:56Speaker 1: a it's a large bag and it was caramel something popcorn.
- 24:02Speaker 1: It's fantastic. And I mean I've been taking handfuls for
- 24:04Speaker 1: about a week or two and we still haven't finished
- 24:06Speaker 1: the bag. But where they get you is it's twenty
- 24:09Speaker 1: bucks for all popcorn, whether it's a seven ounce bag,
- 24:13Speaker 1: a nine and a half ounce bag, thirteen sixteen, all
- 24:16Speaker 1: the way up to twenty three and a half. So
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'm cheap, and I know you've been
- 24:20Speaker 1: definitely thinks my way. Why wouldn't I get the twenty
- 24:22Speaker 1: three and a half. I don't give a shit what
- 24:23Speaker 1: the flavor is. I'm getting the twenty three and a
- 24:25Speaker 1: half if it's the same as the twenty.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I remember a friend used to work at a movie
- 24:31Speaker 3: theater and she used to come every month on the weekends.
- 24:34Speaker 3: She did part timer at this job I worked at,
- 24:36Speaker 3: but she was worked at the movie theater as well,
- 24:39Speaker 3: and she would bring on Mondays a big old bag
- 24:41Speaker 3: of popcorn from the movie theater every day every Monday.
- 24:44Speaker 3: And I realized to myself how cheap popcorn was and
- 24:47Speaker 3: how terrible overpriced it is no matter where you go,
- 24:51Speaker 3: you know, least so at grocery stores.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Even there it's still kind of expensive.
- 24:56Speaker 3: But yeah, popcorn, we love our popcorn as Americans, but
- 25:00Speaker 3: we were dumbest shit for paying them out what we
- 25:02Speaker 3: pay for.
- 25:02Speaker 2: It, oh for sure. And uh, I'll tell you what.
- 25:07Speaker 2: The worst fucking popcorn ever boy Scouts, And I'm not
- 25:10Speaker 2: even afraid to admit it. You know what that is?
- 25:12Speaker 1: The are they still They're not boy Scouts anymore? Though,
- 25:14Speaker 1: are they?
- 25:14Speaker 3: Oh? Sorry, it's got better the Scouts.
- 25:17Speaker 2: It hasn't, because I bought one recently. I think it
- 25:19Speaker 2: was last summer, and it's that's definitely after I think
- 25:22Speaker 2: the change. But uh, this kid was out there, he's like, oh, sir,
- 25:26Speaker 2: you want to buy some popcorn. I'm like, oh yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 2: And I see that they have s'mores popcorn and I'm like,
- 25:32Speaker 2: one hundred percent, let's try that. That sounds good as hell?
- 25:36Speaker 3: How could this go wrong? Right?
- 25:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like those two items, like I like each of
- 25:40Speaker 2: those things. That sounds good. Let's put them together. And
- 25:43Speaker 2: it wasn't necessarily the flavor, but it was just the
- 25:45Speaker 2: popcorn in general, just boom boom. Now I think it
- 25:48Speaker 2: was like twenty six dollars disgusting. And I even, uh,
- 25:53Speaker 2: I think they even had like basic just like white
- 25:55Speaker 2: cheddar or just regular popcorn as well. Tried that from
- 25:58Speaker 2: a friend who was even like trying this. He goes,
- 26:00Speaker 2: does this taste stale? And I go what's it from
- 26:02Speaker 2: I Go Boy Scouts or the Scouts. I was like,
- 26:07Speaker 2: it's disgusting. I was like, they're trying to compete with
- 26:09Speaker 2: the cookies from the girls.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Instead of put this in perspective, I did some research
- 26:15Speaker 1: because I was like, I want to know how to
- 26:16Speaker 1: make some gourmet popcorn, because there was actually a business
- 26:19Speaker 1: that sold recently, and I debated buying the building just
- 26:22Speaker 1: to turn it into a studio, but it came with
- 26:24Speaker 1: all the equipment. I'm like, I might be slinging some
- 26:26Speaker 1: Gormet popcorn. And they told me that one of the
- 26:28Speaker 1: best kernels you can buy is the Orville Redenbaker or whatever.
- 26:33Speaker 1: That brand is one of the best. You can buy
- 26:37Speaker 1: sixteen pounds of kernels for twenty seven twenty six point
- 26:43Speaker 1: fifty eight. Yeah, sixteen pounds of kernels. And if you're
- 26:49Speaker 1: selling that, say it twenty ounces. Yes, you got to
- 26:53Speaker 1: buy a little bit to put it. Come on, you're
- 26:55Speaker 1: not putting that much in for some caramel, some chocolate,
- 26:58Speaker 1: this and that is a huge profit maker.
- 27:03Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I'm looking up real quick, how much does the average
- 27:09Speaker 1: profit margin on popcorn sales? Do we have any guesses?
- 27:14Speaker 3: Oh god, I wouldn't even know where to begin, but
- 27:18Speaker 3: I can guarantee it's pretty big.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay, So the Google AI says the average profit
- 27:27Speaker 1: margin of popcorn sales is often seventy to ninety percent,
- 27:32Speaker 1: but a lot of places, and of course this depends
- 27:35Speaker 1: on overhead and all these other factors, it can reach
- 27:37Speaker 1: up to one thousand percent profit margin.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Did we just find our business?
- 27:44Speaker 1: We need to go ahead?
- 27:49Speaker 3: Wow?
- 27:49Speaker 1: I mean, if that's true, here was my thing.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie to you guys. If it's around
- 27:55Speaker 3: and I'm sitting down and watching a movie and somebody
- 27:57Speaker 3: has hit in the hand me some I'll eat it.
- 27:59Speaker 3: I'd never in my life of sought out popcorn fucking
- 28:02Speaker 3: taking her lead shit worst case scenario, Like best case
- 28:05Speaker 3: scenario gets stuck on my fucking teeth. I don't even
- 28:08Speaker 3: fuck out of here with popcorn for camping gas fucking snack.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Get out of here in the camping one the jiffy
- 28:14Speaker 1: pop with the thing that you put over the fire.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Oh it's a goddamn good popcorn.
- 28:19Speaker 3: See, I'm just not a fan. But the thing that's
- 28:21Speaker 3: nuts is my wife said to me, she goes, Brandon.
- 28:24Speaker 3: We need to start at the County fair, a popcorn
- 28:28Speaker 3: little thing. You'll pay their little whatever the fee is
- 28:31Speaker 3: to be there and for three days will burn our
- 28:32Speaker 3: asses off and make a bunch of money. Every fucking
- 28:36Speaker 3: place I've ever been to that's a fair, that's a
- 28:38Speaker 3: an event that's in the spring or the summer time. Popcorn,
- 28:41Speaker 3: kettle corn, fucking They've got something right. These motherfuckers are
- 28:45Speaker 3: making bank. Sure there's some investment on the machinery and
- 28:49Speaker 3: the you know, the inventory, but like.
- 28:51Speaker 1: You could get one on Timu, this person right here
- 28:55Speaker 1: on Reddit said, and this is the Reddit thread today
- 28:58Speaker 1: I learned friend of mine told me that when he
- 29:01Speaker 1: sells one single large portion of popcorn, it covers the
- 29:05Speaker 1: cost of all of the kernels that he spends in
- 29:09Speaker 1: one day. That his popcorn cart averages two thousand dollars
- 29:14Speaker 1: profit a day.
- 29:17Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 29:19Speaker 1: You have to imagine, like you said, it's got to
- 29:21Speaker 1: be a big festival or something like that, But to
- 29:23Speaker 1: sell two thousand dollars a popcorn when you're selling it
- 29:25Speaker 1: a couple of bucks a peg.
- 29:26Speaker 2: But and I forgot to mention too, the I end
- 29:33Speaker 2: up getting a jersey too from Timu. It was Bobby
- 29:37Speaker 2: Bouchet from the water Boy Solid dude, it's it's stitched
- 29:41Speaker 2: lettering and everything as well. Nine bucks that's all fuzzy.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Sounds like if if it's garbage, it's nine bucks. I've wasted.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I've wasted more money on worse shit in my life.
- 29:53Speaker 2: So but the kids, my son gets knockoff NFL jerseys.
- 29:58Speaker 2: He just wants to collect like his favorite players. So
- 30:01Speaker 2: he got a a Lamar Jackson jersey and I was like, boo,
- 30:06Speaker 2: except for in fantasy love Lamar Jackson. But it's funny
- 30:11Speaker 2: whenever you hold it up, like the eights don't match
- 30:13Speaker 2: up like whenever we were looking like that. So it's like,
- 30:18Speaker 2: I don't know, it's very offsettered and everything. But I
- 30:20Speaker 2: was like, how much do you spend on that? And
- 30:22Speaker 2: he's like eleven dollars. I was like you rocket, buddy, Rocket.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I was like, it looks good, it looks good.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Flag football. Do whatever you need in that jersey, Bud.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Well, I was looking at other jerseys that'd be kind
- 30:33Speaker 2: of cool. I was like, they had like the Clark
- 30:35Speaker 2: Griswold Chicago Blackhawks jersey or whatever. I was like, that
- 30:40Speaker 2: looks sick. Then they had paulk High Bundy jersey. I
- 30:44Speaker 2: was like, oh, that looks cool too, So well he's
- 30:47Speaker 2: gonna go with actual players. I'm like, I want to
- 30:49Speaker 2: go with fictional ones. They had Gump on there as well,
- 30:52Speaker 2: which that was pretty basic, you know.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but at some point too, like we get to
- 30:57Speaker 1: an age too where it's almost awkward or weird or
- 31:01Speaker 1: people look at you a little bit extra when you're
- 31:03Speaker 1: wearing a jersey in public in a lot of situations,
- 31:06Speaker 1: like I mean, if you're at the softball game, a
- 31:08Speaker 1: sporting event, yet it is, but when you're walking through
- 31:10Speaker 1: the old wallfard, or you're walking through maybe the supply
- 31:13Speaker 1: where there's tractors or something like that, and you're rocking
- 31:16Speaker 1: a jersey, people are dont.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Want to this guy not on here?
- 31:19Speaker 1: Is he sowing drugs or is he just you know,
- 31:22Speaker 1: high on the spectrum?
- 31:24Speaker 2: Actually around here you see it everywhere. It's I don't
- 31:27Speaker 2: know about you, Brandon, but.
- 31:30Speaker 3: This was a question about men wearing jerseys. Is that
- 31:33Speaker 3: what you're talking about?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah, like football jerseys in public at least, uh, maybe
- 31:36Speaker 2: we're so close to the stadium.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Have we talked about this before? Like I had a
- 31:42Speaker 3: friend who had the conversation that the idea that men
- 31:44Speaker 3: shouldn't grown men shouldn't wear jerseys of other men. Yeah, yes,
- 31:50Speaker 3: I don't. I mean I own jerseys. I have a
- 31:54Speaker 3: jersey upstairs of Le'Veon Bell when he played for the Jets.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Bro Like fucking it was on sale and I bought it.
- 32:02Speaker 3: And then I've got like James Brown jersey. I'll never
- 32:04Speaker 3: fit in my life, but I don't put those on, Like,
- 32:07Speaker 3: I don't wear them unless it's a joke and I'm
- 32:09Speaker 3: doing some kind of like thing. But I gotta tell
- 32:12Speaker 3: you when we've talked about this too, college football fans
- 32:15Speaker 3: versus pro football fans. Pro football fans generally speaking, tend
- 32:19Speaker 3: to be trashier. Did you see the fucking Eagles uh
- 32:24Speaker 3: fan thing yesterday?
- 32:26Speaker 2: Like?
- 32:27Speaker 3: Why are the Eagles fans and Philadelphia in general so
- 32:30Speaker 3: fucking trashy? Dude?
- 32:32Speaker 1: J trash trash.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I've got some friends from Kensington and area in Philly,
- 32:38Speaker 3: and that's like the like white trash capital.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Of That's that's like, isn't that like the one of
- 32:43Speaker 1: the worst.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I had a friend. I had a friend
- 32:49Speaker 3: who just stopped posting on Facebook. Come to find out
- 32:52Speaker 3: many months later, why right? Living in Philadelphia. So sadly,
- 32:56Speaker 3: you know, shit happens. Man, they're just fun trash like
- 33:00Speaker 3: in college, we will troll the shit out of you online.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Fuck you, your fan base sucks. You haven't international title
- 33:06Speaker 3: since nineteen fifty eight, and even then that's a self
- 33:08Speaker 3: claimed one. It's not even real. But I'm not gonna
- 33:12Speaker 3: come to the stadium, call your wife the blank word
- 33:15Speaker 3: pusher taught you to your car, spit in your faminick.
- 33:18Speaker 3: This is like just as bad as the hooliganism of
- 33:21Speaker 3: the you know Brits over there who watch soccer games,
- 33:25Speaker 3: like those dudes will kill you like they're fucking nuts.
- 33:28Speaker 1: They actually will. Yeah, And you got to think to
- 33:31Speaker 1: college football. A lot of these people are going to
- 33:33Speaker 1: college football probably either went to that college or maybe
- 33:38Speaker 1: they went to the junior college nearby and they kind
- 33:40Speaker 1: of maybe took one class one time, so they went there,
- 33:43Speaker 1: you know. So maybe because it doesn't happen like that
- 33:47Speaker 1: at these college games, because there's more educated people.
- 33:50Speaker 3: I see that point. I don't want to say it's wrong,
- 33:54Speaker 3: but I will say that at least here for Nebraska,
- 33:56Speaker 3: I can't speak for every place, but I know no
- 33:58Speaker 3: rather that there was a there was a survey done.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Whether or not there's good data there or not, who knows,
- 34:04Speaker 3: But there was a survey done that showed the University
- 34:06Speaker 3: of Nebraska fans very small percentage of actually went to
- 34:10Speaker 3: the university. I mean, we've believe it or not. You know,
- 34:13Speaker 3: University of Nebraska. You want to guess the enrollment. I mean,
- 34:16Speaker 3: if you get for the whole school, whole University of Nebraska, Lincoln,
- 34:19Speaker 3: the enrollment for the school at twenty five thousand, not bad. Right.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Do you want to guess the enrollment for UCF in Orlando?
- 34:31Speaker 2: It's like fifty fifty.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Thousand, maybe more. It's nuts, It's out of this world.
- 34:35Speaker 3: But enrollment doesn't exactly equate to fans, right. You know,
- 34:40Speaker 3: there's Arizona State's got a huge amount of fucking if students,
- 34:44Speaker 3: and we're enrollment doesn't necessarily mean there's a lot of
- 34:47Speaker 3: Arizona State fans running around out there, right, But I
- 34:50Speaker 3: guess they're going to be more this year next year.
- 34:52Speaker 3: But I think college football specifically the South. Do you
- 34:55Speaker 3: think a lot of those Alabama fans went to school, motherfucker,
- 35:00Speaker 3: to go to school tomorrow? You know what I mean?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Tomorrow?
- 35:03Speaker 1: What's the one big roan, the white dude that's a
- 35:07Speaker 1: severe alcoholic role Tide Bob or something like that. Have
- 35:12Speaker 1: you seen him on social media?
- 35:15Speaker 2: Used to call in or whatever. And there was somebody
- 35:19Speaker 2: that used to call in and scream. It was one
- 35:20Speaker 2: of the TV person Alwaies I can't remember that was
- 35:23Speaker 2: a big role or Alabama fan.
- 35:24Speaker 3: I can't remember what while you while you're looking it up.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Last thing I want to say is this The point
- 35:28Speaker 3: I'm really just trying to make is this is that
- 35:31Speaker 3: college football specifically in places like where we live. You
- 35:34Speaker 3: but even though you're really close to the city, in
- 35:37Speaker 3: places where we live, where we're out in the middle
- 35:39Speaker 3: of nowhere, we don't have I mean, yes, we got
- 35:41Speaker 3: the Chiefs closed. There's a lot of Chiefs fans here.
- 35:43Speaker 3: There's a lot of Broncos fans here, But Nebraska our
- 35:46Speaker 3: identity is the football team. And there's a lot of
- 35:48Speaker 3: places that in the South, specifically in Alabama, in Mississippi,
- 35:53Speaker 3: in Louisiana, even though they have the Saints, like those
- 35:56Speaker 3: college teams mean something because grandpa went to school there
- 35:59Speaker 3: right or or or stuff like that. It's it's different
- 36:03Speaker 3: with with pro football. Like my dad was a Vikings fan.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I don't have two ships about the Vikings, but he
- 36:09Speaker 3: was a Husker fan and we grew up watching the Huskers.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I grew up watching the Vikings too. But I don't know.
- 36:14Speaker 3: It's it's built into the milieu of the state. And
- 36:16Speaker 3: there's not very many places like this. But you go
- 36:19Speaker 3: to North Dakota, you go to South Dakota, you go
- 36:20Speaker 3: to Montana. It's the same way with those schools. North
- 36:22Speaker 3: Dakota State, South Dakota State, Montana, Montana State.
- 36:26Speaker 1: So again that sucks.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Well, I let's say you mentioned, like, oh, that's where
- 36:36Speaker 2: grandpa went and everything. My grandfather went to KU and
- 36:38Speaker 2: I will die before I ever root for them sons
- 36:41Speaker 2: of bitches. So but no, it's uh, I like mu,
- 36:45Speaker 2: so I can't.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I just refused. But I think here in America, the
- 36:49Speaker 3: only thing we have that's comparable to the the depth
- 36:54Speaker 3: that fandom goes for soccer and Premier soccer and and
- 36:59Speaker 3: and which has gone back one hundred plus years, one
- 37:02Speaker 3: hundred and fifty years. I think, you know, maybe more,
- 37:04Speaker 3: I don't know in some places with some of those clubs,
- 37:06Speaker 3: but it's passed on, you know. Grandpa cheers, Dad cheers
- 37:10Speaker 3: you're not allowed in this house if you cheer for Tottenham.
- 37:12Speaker 3: You know, you're not allowed in this house if you're
- 37:13Speaker 3: cheering for fucking you know, Crystal Palace or whoever, Manchester
- 37:17Speaker 3: or whoever. But you know, similarly here, like I I
- 37:22Speaker 3: grew up, first time I ever saw my dad cry
- 37:24Speaker 3: Nebraska won the national title when I was fucking eight
- 37:26Speaker 3: years old, you know, like so like that that kind
- 37:28Speaker 3: of stuff, like it's it's it means something here people
- 37:31Speaker 3: take it to heart. It's not the same with pro football.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Sure we get sad when we lose, and you know,
- 37:36Speaker 3: fuck I cried when the Broncos lost when I was ten,
- 37:38Speaker 3: But it's not the same.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Just gonna fire up. It's this old gay. I found
- 37:48Speaker 1: him on YouTube. God damn it. Why playin?
- 37:54Speaker 3: How are you dealing with the girls? They love me?
- 37:57Speaker 4: I love I loved you, k mass Flow. I have
- 38:03Speaker 4: one kid one here and he rival take a picture.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Oh tell him how I tell you to take the
- 38:11Speaker 3: pictures them? Women?
- 38:12Speaker 2: Yeah? Do not.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I mean that guy is all over social media and
- 38:22Speaker 1: I guess he got in a bunch of trouble because
- 38:23Speaker 1: he was selling merchandise like you could see on there
- 38:25Speaker 1: with the A and all that stuff, and I guess
- 38:26Speaker 1: the SEC stopped in and they actually banned him from
- 38:29Speaker 1: like any college football Alabama because he was making profit
- 38:33Speaker 1: off it. But some people have tried to step in.
- 38:36Speaker 1: I don't know if it's gonna help, but he is
- 38:37Speaker 1: always like the like if you were to look in
- 38:40Speaker 1: the definition of you can't drink all day if you
- 38:42Speaker 1: don't start in the morning. This guy wakes up drinks
- 38:46Speaker 1: like severe alcoholic and just goes on rants Alabama and
- 38:51Speaker 1: apparently pretty racist, so he has to kind of be
- 38:56Speaker 1: toned down quite a bit before the real bad word
- 39:00Speaker 1: comes out of his mouth, which I guess happens quite
- 39:01Speaker 1: a bit. But there was a comedian and uh, I
- 39:05Speaker 1: don't know somebody that was there. I forget what it was.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Actually he was. He was doing all the podcast tours
- 39:10Speaker 1: right now. I think he's got a new show or
- 39:12Speaker 1: something coming out and roll Tide Willi's so goddamn stupid.
- 39:16Speaker 1: He didn't think that this guy was actually African American.
- 39:20Speaker 1: He thought he was just tan, and then when he
- 39:22Speaker 1: found out, he actually was like shocked and almost like
- 39:26Speaker 1: stopped talking to him, like that's how southern and drunk
- 39:30Speaker 1: this guy is it was pretty bad.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Geez.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Yeah. But I mean you could even just see in
- 39:37Speaker 1: that video. I mean his eyes glassed right over, just
- 39:40Speaker 1: so goddamn drunk. I'm surprised that Garage Beer hasn't made
- 39:44Speaker 1: a run at him yet. Maybe they have. I don't know.
- 39:47Speaker 2: He's got a feel.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Got it rolled, Willie.
- 39:54Speaker 2: He'll be uh yeah, he'll be on Kensington before much longer,
- 39:57Speaker 2: probably just fitting right in.
- 40:00Speaker 1: He is he is. He is a butt, as they
- 40:03Speaker 1: say down there. But speaking of jerseys and stadiums and stuff,
- 40:07Speaker 1: you've been, man, you just went to the Bills Casey
- 40:11Speaker 1: game as a Cowboys fan as an anti Chiefs fan,
- 40:15Speaker 1: and we haven't had a conversation to be able, or
- 40:17Speaker 1: we haven't any time I got to hear about it.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Man, dude. So it was. It was honestly like a
- 40:23Speaker 2: really really cool experience, except for the fact that the
- 40:25Speaker 2: Chiefs won. That was pretty depressing. But man, it's so
- 40:31Speaker 2: he was talking about people, you know, girls taking pictures
- 40:33Speaker 2: with him.
- 40:34Speaker 1: No.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I had some ladies that were sitting in front of
- 40:36Speaker 2: us that were asking, They're like, hey, do you mind
- 40:39Speaker 2: you know, taking a picture of us everything. I was like, yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 2: I got you, I got you. I take the picture everything, give,
- 40:43Speaker 2: give the phone back, and the other girl was like,
- 40:46Speaker 2: can can you use my phone too? And I was like, okay,
- 40:47Speaker 2: you guys just can't share the same fucking picture.
- 40:50Speaker 1: You didn't sneak in a selfie because that's my move.
- 40:52Speaker 1: If anybody ever does, that's exactly what I do. I
- 40:54Speaker 1: go hold on here selfie, So one more, all right, dude.
- 40:59Speaker 2: I even told my friend. I was like, all these
- 41:01Speaker 2: people are gonna get a selfie of me, and I
- 41:03Speaker 2: was like, but it was so cold too at like
- 41:05Speaker 2: I couldn't keep like switching it on the phone fast enough.
- 41:07Speaker 2: So I was like, yeah, fuck this. I was like,
- 41:08Speaker 2: I'm but I had six different people because I kept
- 41:11Speaker 2: joking around saying I was like, yeah, I'm actually a
- 41:13Speaker 2: professional photographer. And then so like people next to me,
- 41:16Speaker 2: like these guys were like, hey, can can you get
- 41:19Speaker 2: us too? And I was like yeah, They're like can
- 41:20Speaker 2: you go run one row back? Though? So can you
- 41:22Speaker 2: a little bit higher ups we can get the field.
- 41:24Speaker 2: And then I was like Jesus, guys, I was like,
- 41:26Speaker 2: I'm gonna charge you a session. I was like, this
- 41:27Speaker 2: is a this is not really worth my time. And
- 41:30Speaker 2: they're like I'm sorry, I'm talking with you guys, and
- 41:32Speaker 2: then I take the picture. I was like, this is
- 41:33Speaker 2: a weird grinder profile photo and they're like, you son
- 41:36Speaker 2: of a bitch. So my friend who invited me was
- 41:39Speaker 2: just he's like, dude, you have to make a scene
- 41:41Speaker 2: of where you go. And I was like, apps the fusolutely.
- 41:43Speaker 2: But these two girls, after they give me each of
- 41:46Speaker 2: their phones the cups?
- 41:48Speaker 1: Did they have one? The two girls? Never mind?
- 41:53Speaker 2: Oh gotcha? Two girls? Gotcha? I think. I was like,
- 41:57Speaker 2: I think they were c's but they the uh, the
- 42:03Speaker 2: girl like, I give him each back to their phone
- 42:05Speaker 2: and I'm like all right, so this is gotta be done.
- 42:06Speaker 2: And she goes hey, and I was like, all right,
- 42:09Speaker 2: what else? She hands me a disposable fucking camera like
- 42:12Speaker 2: a Fuji film and I'm like, she's rocking a nineties
- 42:16Speaker 2: starter jacket and I'm like, we have a time traveler
- 42:20Speaker 2: at our presence, like at mascot was like two wins.
- 42:22Speaker 1: How old do you think this person was? Twenties, thirties, forties.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Late twenties, maybe early thirties. Okakay, no, you know what's
- 42:30Speaker 2: gotta be gotta be late twenties because she looked at me,
- 42:34Speaker 2: and she was like, hey, to use it, you just
- 42:36Speaker 2: gotta I go, bitch, I was born in nineteen ninety
- 42:38Speaker 2: and everyone behind me started to laugh and everything. I
- 42:40Speaker 2: was like, fucking know how to and she goes, you
- 42:42Speaker 2: gotta look through like the little square and I kind
- 42:44Speaker 2: of like bat at her hand and I go, I
- 42:46Speaker 2: know how to use this fucking thing. I was like,
- 42:47Speaker 2: back up, I was like. But I was like, where
- 42:51Speaker 2: the fuck are you getting this developed? I was like,
- 42:54Speaker 2: is this still a thing? Is there still a little
- 42:56Speaker 2: kiosk cut somewhere like that? Were they disposed film? Fucking
- 43:00Speaker 2: what was going on?
- 43:02Speaker 1: You can still? Yeah, I know, you can still drop
- 43:03Speaker 1: them off in the disposables and stuff. The only shitty
- 43:05Speaker 1: part is and being a photownerd because I used to
- 43:07Speaker 1: work the photo lab that when they send them in,
- 43:10Speaker 1: you don't get to keep your negatives anymore. When they
- 43:13Speaker 1: send them in, you get the pictures and then they
- 43:14Speaker 1: more or less destroy the negatives. It's not a service
- 43:18Speaker 1: that sends them back because everything's outsourced this and that
- 43:21Speaker 1: is what I was told when I went to the
- 43:23Speaker 1: only place that does photography around me with.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Is Walfart, which does where I'm at.
- 43:30Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, we don't have one near us anymore.
- 43:32Speaker 2: But tall boys super expensive. As you guys know, I
- 43:36Speaker 2: don't drink unless I usually go to some kind of
- 43:38Speaker 2: big event. And this guy was like, hey, i'm driving,
- 43:40Speaker 2: and he's like, I packed a cooler so we can
- 43:42Speaker 2: pregame before we get in there, and I'm like, okay,
- 43:45Speaker 2: don't twist my arm. And I was like, I'm not
- 43:47Speaker 2: gonna have a few. I'm an addict. I never have
- 43:52Speaker 2: just one. So we're like crushing these michelob ultars, which
- 43:56Speaker 2: I usually don't drink either, So I was like, okay,
- 44:00Speaker 2: I slam three of the like slim boys or whatever
- 44:04Speaker 2: before we even get in there. And then I'm like, hey,
- 44:06Speaker 2: I see some tall boys. I'm like, since you took me,
- 44:08Speaker 2: I don't have to pay for anything. I was like, oh,
- 44:10Speaker 2: come me get you a couple of beers and he's
- 44:11Speaker 2: like yeah, for sure, and I was like, it's cold outside.
- 44:13Speaker 2: We'll be able to keep him in there. It's gonna
- 44:15Speaker 2: stay cold. Hell yeah, less trips. We're uh, we each
- 44:18Speaker 2: have two tall boys and she's like that'll be eighty
- 44:21Speaker 2: four dollars and I go I said, four tall boys,
- 44:24Speaker 2: not forty and she's like eighty four dollars, and I'm like, damn.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I was like, holy shit, you could have got four
- 44:32Speaker 1: bags of twenty three and a half pounds popcorns for that.
- 44:35Speaker 2: That's parking was seventy bucks, dude. But there was you know,
- 44:41Speaker 2: I'm like, man, dude, I was like, and you guys
- 44:43Speaker 2: need help build. That's like you want some stadium improvements
- 44:46Speaker 2: and everything else. Yeah, you're raking up a lot with
- 44:48Speaker 2: just parking, fucking insane.
- 44:51Speaker 1: And there were how many people there forty thousand or
- 44:53Speaker 1: whatever the stadium holds you probably I think.
- 44:56Speaker 2: It's like seventy five thousand, almost eighty thousand. I think
- 44:59Speaker 2: I am so.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Really good at numbers today.
- 45:03Speaker 2: It is that how much it is? I mean, I
- 45:05Speaker 2: don't know.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I think it's no, no, remember, because I was like, oh,
- 45:08Speaker 1: two thousand apparently, Oh that's not it. It brought me
- 45:13Speaker 1: to the kfcum Center that's in Louisville.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Oh coo, sounds good too, by the way, I'm hungry.
- 45:20Speaker 1: KC Stadium capacity seventy six, four hundred and sixteen.
- 45:25Speaker 2: That's close.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Okay, it's the twenty fifth largest stadium they.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I mean, there's a dude, it's and you know how
- 45:31Speaker 2: they say it's the loudest outdoor stadium whatever, it's it's
- 45:36Speaker 2: so fucking incredible there. They get so loud. But there
- 45:38Speaker 2: were so many Bills fans there. There was one Teil
- 45:41Speaker 2: Guinea party that had three hundred Bills fans. I'm not
- 45:43Speaker 2: even d it was insane.
- 45:46Speaker 1: But as soon as that final play happened and you
- 45:49Speaker 1: knew it was over when they did the cameras to
- 45:51Speaker 1: the crowd going nuts. Every aisle was full of those
- 45:55Speaker 1: Bills fans.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Just It's what's what's crazy too. It's like I got
- 46:01Speaker 2: these cheese fans around me and everything, and I'm just like,
- 46:03Speaker 2: oh my god, my buddy's going crazy. He's like three baby,
- 46:07Speaker 2: three pete. I'm oh terrible. But I didn't get to
- 46:12Speaker 2: watch any of the NFC Championship game at all because
- 46:15Speaker 2: they had it on well, they put it a little
- 46:16Speaker 2: bit of it on the JumboTron. So that's why I like.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Rob's like, hey, everybody's quiet in the chat, and I'm like, brother,
- 46:22Speaker 2: there's there's no service at this stadium. I got shit.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I was like, I don't even who fucking won.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Until I was in the gym we were coaching, playing
- 46:28Speaker 1: all day, didn't get over there. Me and a buddy
- 46:30Speaker 1: were starting to watch it on the phone. Then we
- 46:31Speaker 1: had to go coach and do this, and then by
- 46:33Speaker 1: the time we even got out of there, the Bills
- 46:36Speaker 1: game had already started. The family was hungry. All they
- 46:38Speaker 1: wanted was fucking dairy Queen and they close early on
- 46:42Speaker 1: Sundays or something. I don't know if everyone does with
- 46:44Speaker 1: this one there, so I had to settle for some KFC.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Not a bad subtle but there's somebody posted a dairy
- 46:51Speaker 2: Queen meme today on Facebook that actually got me. It
- 46:54Speaker 2: was they said I went to go Darry's gonna get
- 46:56Speaker 2: a wizzard and they said that they were at a
- 46:58Speaker 2: Rees's and so I was, hey, man, you don't worry
- 47:01Speaker 2: about It's not your fault. The guy working there was like,
- 47:03Speaker 2: actually it is. I've been fucking slacking a little bit
- 47:06Speaker 2: and I'm supposed to be ordering that stuff. And I
- 47:08Speaker 2: was like, you know what, we like an accountability king, Like,
- 47:10Speaker 2: good for you. If someone told me that, they're like, fuck,
- 47:14Speaker 2: do I've been kind of slacking a little bit, I
- 47:15Speaker 2: probably should have ordered that. I'm like, fair enough, you
- 47:17Speaker 2: know what, let's go butterfinger, you know who cares.
- 47:20Speaker 1: That's a move you pulled in the day, wasn't it.
- 47:23Speaker 1: He's learning from you.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Oh for sure, dude. Those cheesecake pipes. I remember my
- 47:27Speaker 2: boss being like, why are we going through so many?
- 47:29Speaker 2: It's like we do never even like sell a lot
- 47:30Speaker 2: of this stuff.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Well, and it ain't me.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Just like a fucking little mouse over there, just hovering
- 47:35Speaker 2: over that little box every time I go in the
- 47:36Speaker 2: freezer to grab some Hamburger patties, you know, on them
- 47:40Speaker 2: fucking cheesecake. But it was so easy to get to
- 47:42Speaker 2: and for some reason you put it in there. You
- 47:44Speaker 2: didn't bite it immediately, you just let it melt in
- 47:46Speaker 2: your mount oock. It was so good. Brands a getting hard.
- 47:52Speaker 2: He's rubbing one right now. He's like, he's like, how
- 47:54Speaker 2: was the crust?
- 47:55Speaker 1: Is so good?
- 47:58Speaker 3: I'm literally texting my wife dinner. I'm like, do you
- 48:00Speaker 3: know it sounds good right now? Grilled cheese with ballooney
- 48:03Speaker 3: on it? Oh? Boys, do you know what I did?
- 48:08Speaker 3: Two fingers? No, I I I've told you guys about
- 48:15Speaker 3: that's right. I told you guys about Taylor Ham before
- 48:19Speaker 3: that new Jersey like blooney type stuff, right, talked about
- 48:22Speaker 3: Taylor Ham or pork Roll, depending on where you're from
- 48:25Speaker 3: in Jersey, South Jersey versus North Jersey. I went and
- 48:28Speaker 3: bought some new some new pork Roll or Taylor Ham
- 48:31Speaker 3: bought six pounds of the ship. They had a deal
- 48:35Speaker 3: where it was six pounds. Now, have you ever been
- 48:36Speaker 3: to the city matt which the city New York, New York?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Yes? I have.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Have you you ever had a street dogs?
- 48:46Speaker 2: Okay?
- 48:47Speaker 3: So did you like it? Yeah?
- 48:50Speaker 2: Okay?
- 48:50Speaker 3: So every from what I've been told from a New
- 48:52Speaker 3: Yorker and somebody who's from Jersey, is that every street
- 48:57Speaker 3: hot dog from a street vendor you find, they sell
- 48:59Speaker 3: a brand call Subrettes or something like that. Maybe I'm
- 49:01Speaker 3: proouncing it wrong. Anyway, there's a website, and I gotta.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Pull this shit up. Yeah, I remember, I mean I
- 49:09Speaker 1: couldn't tell you the brand, and I believe we are
- 49:11Speaker 1: pretty drunk. And it tasted frig and fantastic. And I
- 49:15Speaker 1: remember going with Logan one time and he's for some
- 49:19Speaker 1: reason said, you can't eat it, you can't you got
- 49:21Speaker 1: it when you're in New York City something I'm obviously
- 49:23Speaker 1: I'm paraphrasing something about you got you you have to
- 49:26Speaker 1: eat off the ground or some shit. I don't know.
- 49:28Speaker 1: He took like a piece of his food, rubbed it
- 49:30Speaker 1: on the ground, and then ate it.
- 49:31Speaker 3: So they sell this stuff called Taylor Ham, which is
- 49:34Speaker 3: basically just it's like a pork baloney type stuff, but
- 49:39Speaker 3: as tam. It's it. It's not as salty as spam,
- 49:43Speaker 3: but it's so much better than blooney, is the only
- 49:44Speaker 3: way I can explain it.
- 49:45Speaker 2: That's my wife. I'm trying to get some head.
- 49:48Speaker 3: These are the dogs that they sell. These are Subrettes,
- 49:50Speaker 3: it's the brand, and fifty hot dogs for forty five bucks.
- 49:54Speaker 3: I know that's a lot, but I went in and
- 49:56Speaker 3: I bought. I bought this deal here for ninety five
- 50:01Speaker 3: dollars and six pounds of ham, fifty hot dogs, and
- 50:06Speaker 3: then I added in this bad boy, which was mustard
- 50:10Speaker 3: and onions, because it's there. If I'm gonna do it,
- 50:13Speaker 3: I'm gonna do it right.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:15Speaker 3: And boys, let me tell you it is arriving here
- 50:19Speaker 3: in three days. Cool, just the time of the weekend
- 50:22Speaker 3: before my baby's born. Dude, it's gonna be diarrhea time
- 50:26Speaker 3: once I get to that hospital. I'm just telling you
- 50:27Speaker 3: other right.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Now, Hey, at least you'll be in the hospital. You know,
- 50:30Speaker 1: need some baby wipes. You're not paying for them. But
- 50:33Speaker 1: did you guys know in nineteen oh six, the Pure
- 50:35Speaker 1: Food and Drug Act actually changed the definition of ham
- 50:38Speaker 1: so that Taylor was forced to rename his product pork roll.
- 50:43Speaker 3: I had no idea.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Little history lesson it was John Taylor because it was
- 50:48Speaker 1: originally called Taylor's Prepared Ham. The only place that uses
- 50:53Speaker 1: tailor ham now is in Jersey. But there's that's why
- 50:55Speaker 1: he had to call it pork roll because of the
- 50:58Speaker 1: goddamn Pure Food and Rug Act. We're an educational show.
- 51:04Speaker 1: But I know Brandon's hungry. You've been probably hungry as well,
- 51:07Speaker 1: and maybe even has to go pick up a kid.
- 51:09Speaker 1: I know that I would have to leave and go
- 51:10Speaker 1: get a kid, or to know, two kids from dance
- 51:12Speaker 1: in a couple of minutes. But everything got canceled because
- 51:15Speaker 1: apparently we're having snownatles. But you guys are enjoying fifty
- 51:18Speaker 1: degree weather in the Midwest and thinking about golfing and stuff.
- 51:22Speaker 1: It's gonna be six degrees here and negative something in
- 51:25Speaker 1: the next couple of days. So love you guys. That
- 51:28Speaker 1: was for you, and I don't know, I got nothing else.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys do.
- 51:33Speaker 2: No, I got a can of Vienna sausages waiting for me.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Ever since you mentioned spam, I forgot that I bought
- 51:37Speaker 2: that shit. I'm fucking destroying it.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Oh, not to make even more hungry, but I forgot.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I started a batch of homemade ice cream before the studio,
- 51:45Speaker 1: and it's probably gonna be pretty shitty because I'm sure
- 51:50Speaker 1: that there's none left for me, And unfortunately, with the
- 51:52Speaker 1: ice cream maker, you can't just make another batch because
- 51:55Speaker 1: you gotta wait twenty four to forty eight hours for
- 51:57Speaker 1: the bowl to freeze again. So in there and there's
- 52:01Speaker 1: no ice cream'd.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Be pretty mad.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to eat more popcorn.
- 52:06Speaker 3: I had a friend to drop off about this much,
- 52:09Speaker 3: you know, like it's about that round and he's gentle, nice,
- 52:13Speaker 3: but about this much of uh deer sausage with jalapeno
- 52:19Speaker 3: and cheese in it.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Boys, you guys, before we leave, do you guys know
- 52:25Speaker 1: what you guys call it? Deer sausage, deer jerky deer sausage, venison,
- 52:29Speaker 1: venison or venison guys, So fancy it up up here
- 52:33Speaker 1: in pretty much Kennedy.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's deer sausage. We're gonna be distinct because
- 52:39Speaker 2: that summer sausage too. That's why I say, every time
- 52:42Speaker 2: I walk by that's still like that, the summer sausage
- 52:45Speaker 2: whatever at Walmart, I always pick it up and give
- 52:48Speaker 2: them missus a look, and I just like wiggle around
- 52:50Speaker 2: a little bit. I will never grow up, and I
- 52:51Speaker 2: absolutely refuse to. Is it even close to the resemblance
- 52:54Speaker 2: of a summer sausage. No, like to be a sausage.
- 52:57Speaker 2: I'm getting ready to eat.
- 52:59Speaker 1: So you're just sending soliminal messages to the wife as
- 53:02Speaker 1: you eat that. Hey, best of luck to you boys
- 53:05Speaker 1: and that. And obviously Brandon's getting close to baby thirty.
- 53:08Speaker 1: So if you don't see them out here for a
- 53:11Speaker 1: couple of weeks, months, whatever it takes him to get
- 53:13Speaker 1: adjusted to number three, that is why we'll have to
- 53:18Speaker 1: well know what we're gonna have to do. We're gonna
- 53:19Speaker 1: have to I know you're a cigar guy, and uh
- 53:22Speaker 1: I I've been chatting with the cigar company, so I'm
- 53:25Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna see if I can get a little
- 53:27Speaker 1: congratulations little package over to you. They're they're upgrading some stuff.
- 53:32Speaker 1: There is a code and all that good stuff. I
- 53:34Speaker 1: think I think it's Honeybee Cigars something like that, but
- 53:37Speaker 1: they're their online stuff. They were switching around new vendors
- 53:40Speaker 1: and credit cards and all that good stuff. So I'll
- 53:42Speaker 1: send a link and we'll get a care package over
- 53:44Speaker 1: to Brandon number three Baby Celebratory and we'll sit here
- 53:50Speaker 1: some episode. Well you probably can't your house near mind.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I have a cigar in your
- 53:54Speaker 1: in your house while we do it, but that's probably
- 53:56Speaker 1: not good for you with a new board, so we'll
- 53:58Speaker 1: come up with an idea. And but either way, I
- 54:01Speaker 1: can't thank you guys enough. Obviously you've been branding. Anybody
- 54:04Speaker 1: that's still listening. We'll see you guys next week, and
- 54:06Speaker 1: make sure you tell those kids to stay out of
- 54:09Speaker 1: our goddamn fridgie little punks. See you next week. Comebye,
