- 0:49Speaker 2: a bit injury riddled, but finding a way to stay
- 0:52Speaker 2: in the wind.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Call him in. They're heating back up once again.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Plus turning plenty your heads toward their side after beating
- 0:59Speaker 2: the Colorado Avalanche two to one in the shootout back
- 1:02Speaker 2: on Wednesday. Before we get to everybody, here's what you
- 1:06Speaker 2: may have missed. Back on Wednesday night, with the Kraken
- 1:09Speaker 2: facing the Islanders and looking to put their foot to
- 1:13Speaker 2: the gas pedal. In period two, Matthew Barzel lost the
- 1:17Speaker 2: handle winchard Ton out to Ben Myers three on two
- 1:20Speaker 2: for Seattle.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Here's Winterton not a dun stop a broken three on
- 1:33Speaker 4: two for the kracking. Ben's done in the high slot
- 1:36Speaker 4: off the feed from Ryan Winchardton. The Seattle cracking take
- 1:41Speaker 4: the lead two on six, twenty three left in the second. Well,
- 1:45Speaker 4: let's break over the cracking end of the ice was
- 1:46Speaker 4: late in the ship. Ben Myers, trying to buy some
- 1:49Speaker 4: time in the plu line, cuts hard to his left,
- 1:51Speaker 4: puts it over the fire.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Side to Winterton, who's got nothing but a lane to
- 1:55Speaker 5: go to the net.
- 1:56Speaker 3: He puts it back to Done. Dun's got an open cage,
- 1:59Speaker 3: puts it a two.
- 2:00Speaker 6: To one cracking.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Where seconds left on the crack and power play.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Schwartz Copo Cocko sco Copo cocko, fresh off the bench
- 2:16Speaker 4: into the right circle, snaps it in by Aliaseroken. The
- 2:21Speaker 4: cracking a three one lead, three thirty two left hit
- 2:25Speaker 4: period number two.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Well some great four checking by Jayden. Schwartz goes behind
- 2:30Speaker 5: the islander. Nick comes out with that pocket Asian said.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Coppo Cocko coming out for shift. He comes right down
- 2:36Speaker 5: the slot, presents a stick. Schwartz puts it on there.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Copo Cocko puts it home.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Three one cracket.
- 2:43Speaker 2: The Crack and salvaging a one to one split in
- 2:45Speaker 2: the series. Vincetun coming out of the game with a
- 2:48Speaker 2: multi point effort, and Philip Grubauer again back to his
- 2:51Speaker 2: normal self here for this regular season, he turned in
- 2:55Speaker 2: twenty four saves and he now owns a nine to
- 2:57Speaker 2: one nine save percentage, second best in the NHL.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Well, just when you.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Thought the Kraken could operate at their healthiest, they lost
- 3:05Speaker 2: center Ben Myers lower body injury. He'll be week to
- 3:09Speaker 2: week officially, and the Krack and having to shuffle the
- 3:12Speaker 2: deck now after Myers broke into the Crack in lineup
- 3:14Speaker 2: with a pretty abrasive brand, leading to five goals with
- 3:19Speaker 2: eleven points in thirty one games and effectiveness at the
- 3:22Speaker 2: facetoft circle, winning fifty three percent of his draws. But
- 3:27Speaker 2: Jacob Allanson is also back on the way with Myers
- 3:30Speaker 2: on the shelf. Mallanson was recalled from AHL Coachella Valley
- 3:33Speaker 2: and many know what he can bring, especially with a
- 3:37Speaker 2: rugged and physical game, certainly a very effective option for
- 3:41Speaker 2: Lane Lambert for this evening's game against the Anaheim Ducks.
- 3:45Speaker 3: We'll see if he does draw in.
- 3:46Speaker 2: But in the meantime, here's reaction from Thursday's Roster News
- 3:50Speaker 2: with Everett fits you Ben Myers out week to week,
- 3:54Speaker 2: Jacob Allanson called back up from ahl coachelle A Valley
- 3:58Speaker 2: and fits I mean kind tough to absorb when you
- 4:00Speaker 2: consider Ben Myers, his usage driving offense middlely Lane Lambert
- 4:06Speaker 2: from what he said recently over the last stretch of
- 4:08Speaker 2: games based off circle as well. So what's your first
- 4:11Speaker 2: reaction with Ben Myers out and Jacob Allanson back up?
- 4:16Speaker 6: Yeah? I know that when when Milanson got sent back
- 4:20Speaker 6: to Coachella a few games ago, I know a lot
- 4:22Speaker 6: of people were not too happy about a lot of
- 4:26Speaker 6: fan base, you know, weren't happy about it. The way
- 4:28Speaker 6: that he played and the way that he you know,
- 4:31Speaker 6: helped with the identity of that fourth line. But I
- 4:35Speaker 6: don't think you know, this is how they wanted to
- 4:37Speaker 6: get Milanson back. So you feel bad for betting it's
- 4:41Speaker 6: the way that he's played that Deason, You're right, Natty
- 4:44Speaker 6: that he has the offense and he's able to generate,
- 4:47Speaker 6: and he's a part of that identity. You know. I
- 4:50Speaker 6: know Lane really likes him. I know that he he
- 4:54Speaker 6: is that prototypical bottom six sentiment. He does everything right
- 4:58Speaker 6: to win you some face off. He's gonna us so
- 5:00Speaker 6: and he understands his role. In maybe ten minutes a night,
- 5:03Speaker 6: he may be called Otford fifteen minutes the night. Who knows.
- 5:07Speaker 6: But this loss, I think it's going to be is
- 5:09Speaker 6: gonna be big for Seattle. But I think that also
- 5:12Speaker 6: it welcomes Jacob Allanson back to the lineup, and I
- 5:15Speaker 6: think with Ben Myers out, you now move Freddie Gadreau
- 5:19Speaker 6: back in the middle of that fourth line, which is
- 5:22Speaker 6: more of a natural fit for him. So now you're
- 5:25Speaker 6: gonna presumably have Winterton on the left with Gadreau in
- 5:29Speaker 6: the middle and Malanson on the right. I think you
- 5:32Speaker 6: still have some genacity on that line. I think you
- 5:35Speaker 6: still have a bit of an offensive touch. You know,
- 5:39Speaker 6: if you were listening to the game the other night,
- 5:41Speaker 6: Alan and I were talking about Ryan Winterton's speed and
- 5:44Speaker 6: how I don't really even think he knows how fast
- 5:47Speaker 6: he can be sometimes, So you know, This isn't an
- 5:51Speaker 6: ideal situation for Seattle. The hits keep on coming in
- 5:56Speaker 6: terms of the injury front, but you're going to get
- 5:59Speaker 6: a guy back in Jacob Milanson. That proved over the
- 6:03Speaker 6: last month that he deserved to be here, and we
- 6:06Speaker 6: all knew that it was a matter of time before
- 6:08Speaker 6: he was going to get back to Seattle. But it
- 6:11Speaker 6: just sucks to see that him coming back meant that
- 6:14Speaker 6: you had to lose Ben Myers in the process.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I think also what you do is that you plug
- 6:18Speaker 3: in Milanson.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I think not just for the fact that he can
- 6:21Speaker 2: be effective with the hitting game, but and that he's
- 6:24Speaker 2: getting back to semi familiar territory playing with Ryan Winterton.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And you mentioned Freddy Gudreaux as well in the middle,
- 6:29Speaker 2: So not too much shuffling, I think goes on. And
- 6:33Speaker 2: I think this is where the part where Freddy Gudreaux
- 6:35Speaker 2: is kind of like the human jackknife in this lineup,
- 6:38Speaker 2: where it really kind of gigs into place. I mean,
- 6:42Speaker 2: but I think the question is how much do you
- 6:44Speaker 2: think this changes here with usage versus other parts of
- 6:49Speaker 2: this lineup.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I don't think it changes at all. I mean, listen,
- 6:52Speaker 6: Malonson's only I mean, when you if you want to
- 6:55Speaker 6: look at it this way, Jacob Millanson essentially has been
- 6:58Speaker 6: a healthy scratched for the last three games. Right his
- 7:03Speaker 6: last game would have been Jersey. I think it was
- 7:07Speaker 6: Rangers Jersey, whatever it was. So, I mean, when you
- 7:10Speaker 6: think about it, Malonton's did a healthy strat for three games.
- 7:13Speaker 6: He went down to CV, got a couple extra games,
- 7:16Speaker 6: and got some rays of sun and now is back.
- 7:18Speaker 6: So I don't think he's gonna miss much from a
- 7:22Speaker 6: from a full gameplay perspective. I think deployment, like I said,
- 7:26Speaker 6: I mean, if if it were up to me, it
- 7:29Speaker 6: moved Ready back to the middle, and then the Lingers
- 7:31Speaker 6: are Winterton and Malonson. Winterton's played with Malonson, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 6: in CV and now here in Seattle. I don't think
- 7:38Speaker 6: deployment changes that much. I still think that's going to
- 7:41Speaker 6: be your identity line. I still think that's gonna be
- 7:44Speaker 6: a line that's going to be counted on to play physical,
- 7:47Speaker 6: to chew up some minutes against top lines. And when
- 7:52Speaker 6: you look at the teams that are going to be
- 7:53Speaker 6: coming in a CPA the next handful of games, I
- 7:56Speaker 6: mean you you're gonna have some really good topsis forward
- 8:00Speaker 6: groups that you're going to need that energy against. So
- 8:06Speaker 6: I think for jakab Alanson, if anything, this is an
- 8:08Speaker 6: opportunity for him to get back to doing what he
- 8:12Speaker 6: was doing. You know, Alan and I were talking about
- 8:15Speaker 6: how maybe his hitting has gone from seven to eight
- 8:18Speaker 6: hits a game to maybe five to six hits a game,
- 8:21Speaker 6: four to five hits a game, so maybe you jack
- 8:24Speaker 6: those hit numbers up a little bit more.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You know.
- 8:27Speaker 6: I don't think his play was starting to dip at
- 8:30Speaker 6: all at the time of his of his sendown, but
- 8:33Speaker 6: I do think that this is an opportunity for him
- 8:35Speaker 6: to say, all right, I'm going to get back in
- 8:37Speaker 6: this lineup, and now I'm going to make it impossible
- 8:41Speaker 6: when when Myers comes back, I'm not going to be
- 8:44Speaker 6: the one that you send back. There's going to be
- 8:46Speaker 6: harder decisions that have to be made because I'm not
- 8:50Speaker 6: going to be the one that gets sent back, and
- 8:52Speaker 6: I think that's going to have to be his mindset
- 8:54Speaker 6: moving forward. I mean, Ben Myers is week to week,
- 8:57Speaker 6: so is that one week? Is that two weeks? I mean,
- 9:01Speaker 6: you've got the Olympic break coming up here at the
- 9:04Speaker 6: end of I guess what two weeks. So two weeks
- 9:07Speaker 6: from yesterday is the Krackings last game, so I would
- 9:10Speaker 6: imagine Myers is gonna be out, you know, until then,
- 9:14Speaker 6: and then he's gonna have all of February to recover.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Maybe you send them back for some games in Coachella
- 9:19Speaker 6: because they're still playing. But I mean, Melaanson's gonna get
- 9:22Speaker 6: at least five seven more games coming up here between
- 9:26Speaker 6: now and the Olympic.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Brick, third match up of the season coming up here,
- 9:29Speaker 2: and a great time to welcome back in our friend
- 9:32Speaker 2: here too, Kraken this morning. She is Alexis Downy host
- 9:35Speaker 2: for Duck Stream, also a part of the Victory Plus
- 9:38Speaker 2: crew as well from time to time joining us here.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Alexis great to have you. Thank you again for doing this.
- 9:44Speaker 2: And I think we knew that this blitz of a
- 9:48Speaker 2: January was coming as far as the schedule because we
- 9:50Speaker 2: have the Olympic break coming up here. But I mean,
- 9:53Speaker 2: I think, what you know, we don't do what the
- 9:56Speaker 2: players do. But game day, of course, can be certainly
- 9:59Speaker 2: a lot on one. So whether it's you know, coffee, tea, diet,
- 10:03Speaker 2: sod up, naps, whatever, what's your best advice for keeping
- 10:06Speaker 2: the energy up here for a crazy month.
- 10:10Speaker 7: Well, I think for me, it's just making sure I
- 10:12Speaker 7: get enough sleep. I think that's really important, and that
- 10:15Speaker 7: is kind of hard to do sometimes when you're getting
- 10:17Speaker 7: home pretty late after games. But the sleep is key,
- 10:20Speaker 7: and then the coffee is key. And you know, as
- 10:24Speaker 7: for the rest of it, if the team's winning, it's
- 10:26Speaker 7: easy to have energy.
- 10:28Speaker 3: It gets you out about a lot easier.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Rest is a weapon, coffee as a weapon, and certainly
- 10:32Speaker 2: wins provide energy.
- 10:33Speaker 3: That is certainly a big weapon as well.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So I mean, I think I can say the same
- 10:37Speaker 2: here for these two teams, because we're about sixty percent
- 10:40Speaker 2: of the way here through the season.
- 10:41Speaker 3: And here they are.
- 10:43Speaker 2: This is going to be a fun matchup. The Cracking
- 10:45Speaker 2: and Ducks are two points apart, and here for matchup three.
- 10:49Speaker 2: But yet what surprised you the most so far with
- 10:51Speaker 2: how the Western Conference has sorted out at this point.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Of the season.
- 10:56Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean it's easy to point to this slide
- 10:59Speaker 7: that you know, Vancouver Cat this year, Winnipeg Cat this year,
- 11:03Speaker 7: all of you know, teams in the recent years that
- 11:05Speaker 7: have been really good. Just that's kind of changed. And
- 11:09Speaker 7: you know, when you look at just overall the West
- 11:11Speaker 7: versus the East. You know, the East is a lot
- 11:14Speaker 7: closer in a sense competition wise, it feels like those
- 11:19Speaker 7: standings are changing really quickly. I mean, granted, in the Pacific,
- 11:23Speaker 7: you know, it is still very close between a number
- 11:26Speaker 7: of teams. But yeah, I think that it's been an
- 11:30Speaker 7: interesting season overall for the league. You know, teams are tired.
- 11:34Speaker 7: It's this new schedule this year because of the Olympic
- 11:37Speaker 7: break that's coming up. It's been a lot of games,
- 11:40Speaker 7: a lot of wear as we've seen a lot of
- 11:42Speaker 7: injuries around the league too. But as for the West,
- 11:46Speaker 7: you know, I think it's really going to be fun
- 11:48Speaker 7: as we get down the wire, and really I think
- 11:50Speaker 7: March is going to be a big month kind of
- 11:52Speaker 7: telling us you know, who's going where and who's gonna
- 11:55Speaker 7: end up where. So yeah, I've been enjoyed it. But
- 12:01Speaker 7: as you said it, you know it's been been you
- 12:04Speaker 7: had you have to find something to keep your energy, yep,
- 12:07Speaker 7: because it has been pretty exhausting this year.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Expect the unexpected. Also, I think it's as far as
- 12:13Speaker 3: certain points here of this season.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And the Ducks come off a two to one shootout
- 12:17Speaker 2: win over the Avalanche, I mean It's hard enough when
- 12:19Speaker 2: you don't have Leo Carlson, and we'll get to him
- 12:21Speaker 2: later on here. It's harder when you do this facing
- 12:24Speaker 2: a team that is a ten thousand ton wagon like
- 12:27Speaker 2: the one they've got in Denver. I mean, can you
- 12:30Speaker 2: give me one unsung hero moment from the previous night,
- 12:33Speaker 2: and then where do you put the kind of game
- 12:36Speaker 2: lukeash Dostall had up against others you've seen with dust
- 12:39Speaker 2: ball tending.
- 12:41Speaker 7: I mean, Lukasho Stall was the story last night. He
- 12:44Speaker 7: was absolutely unbelievable, by far, his best game of this season.
- 12:49Speaker 7: It's funny because you know, the team went to the shootout,
- 12:52Speaker 7: and whenever we go to the shootout and Jos Sal's
- 12:55Speaker 7: a net, I just never worried because he's so good
- 12:58Speaker 7: in the shootout through his career he's now eight and three.
- 13:02Speaker 7: He just reads reads the skaters really well. So you know,
- 13:06Speaker 7: I think that there was a couple of moments, in
- 13:08Speaker 7: particular in in the third period where Jo's, y'all just
- 13:15Speaker 7: he was standing on his head. So I think he's
- 13:18Speaker 7: a big story from that game.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You know it.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Mason mccavish was a late scratch right before puck drop.
- 13:24Speaker 7: They bought Jansen Harkins in on the top line because
- 13:27Speaker 7: of mccavish not being a part of the lineup, So
- 13:30Speaker 7: that was a concern going into the game, and I
- 13:32Speaker 7: thought Jansen Harkins filled the role very well. Now, granted,
- 13:36Speaker 7: the Ducks played a lot more of a defensive game.
- 13:39Speaker 7: They were trying to slow the Apps down by you know,
- 13:41Speaker 7: trying to slow that pace a little bit. You could
- 13:43Speaker 7: see they were taking their time with the puck when
- 13:45Speaker 7: they did get it, so you know, I want to
- 13:47Speaker 7: see some more offense on that end. But it was
- 13:49Speaker 7: just an unbelievable game last night. And also for Alex Kulaorn,
- 13:53Speaker 7: you have to, you know, tip your cap to him
- 13:56Speaker 7: because it was a thousand NHL game and that was
- 13:59Speaker 7: a big storyline too, so he almost scored in overtime
- 14:03Speaker 7: and that would have made it probably the top story
- 14:06Speaker 7: of the year for the Ducks. But you know, it
- 14:09Speaker 7: was close but not quite there. So of course, happy
- 14:13Speaker 7: to see the shootout end up in their favor.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Duck's coming off that two to one shootout went over
- 14:19Speaker 2: the Avalanche. As Alexis Downey host for Duck Stream, joining
- 14:21Speaker 2: us here on Kracken this morning, Alexis cutter. Gachi's up
- 14:25Speaker 2: to twenty two goals now in forty nine games this season.
- 14:28Speaker 2: He is now on a line recently seen with the
- 14:30Speaker 2: Jeffrey vel and Ryan Paling where has his name grown
- 14:35Speaker 2: the most ever since day one of camp.
- 14:37Speaker 7: So Cha's been someone that you know, coming into the season,
- 14:40Speaker 7: there were a lot of I felt like he was
- 14:43Speaker 7: a player. I was curious to see how he grew
- 14:46Speaker 7: this year. You know, building off of an incredible rookie
- 14:48Speaker 7: season last year. You know, how could he keep building
- 14:52Speaker 7: and becoming a big part of this team. And that's
- 14:56Speaker 7: what he's been. He's been consistent with his scoring. You know,
- 14:59Speaker 7: he taken on a little bit of a leadership role,
- 15:03Speaker 7: but I think that comes pretty natural to him because
- 15:05Speaker 7: of who he is off the ice, very driven and
- 15:08Speaker 7: just a hard working guy. So yeah, I think in
- 15:11Speaker 7: the absence of Leo Carlton's fright Terry, I mean, Frank Patrona,
- 15:14Speaker 7: there's so many guys that are missing in this lineup
- 15:17Speaker 7: right now, You've got to see a guy like hutter
- 15:19Speaker 7: Go Chase step up. And he had so many close
- 15:21Speaker 7: chances last night, hit one off the cross bar, you
- 15:25Speaker 7: know that there he was very close a couple of times.
- 15:28Speaker 7: So I just think that the team's going to be
- 15:31Speaker 7: relying on him down the stretch, and he also knows that.
- 15:34Speaker 7: So I'm very happy for him and his growth this year,
- 15:38Speaker 7: and I just think that he even still has.
- 15:40Speaker 3: So much more to give When it comes to the
- 15:42Speaker 3: Calder Trophy race.
- 15:44Speaker 2: It seems as if Beckett Seneca has very much entered
- 15:48Speaker 2: the chat. We remember his first goal opening night in
- 15:52Speaker 2: Seattle and very much a meat and potatoes type of goal,
- 15:55Speaker 2: but it got him off and running. How much has
- 15:58Speaker 2: his usage led to production this season.
- 16:01Speaker 7: Yeah, he's been a fun story to watch too. I
- 16:03Speaker 7: mean now up to fifteen goals on his year, thirty
- 16:07Speaker 7: eight total points. And you know, he's someone that I
- 16:11Speaker 7: felt like coming into the year. You know, we knew that, Okay,
- 16:15Speaker 7: is he going to be on that Leo type plan
- 16:17Speaker 7: where he might have been playing every game. Well, he's
- 16:19Speaker 7: completely proved us wrong and played every game for the
- 16:21Speaker 7: team this season. And the one thing that stands out
- 16:25Speaker 7: about him is his offensive instincts. I mean, he has
- 16:28Speaker 7: just made some unbelievable plays. I think back to the
- 16:33Speaker 7: game in Anaheim just actually just this week when they
- 16:39Speaker 7: ended up winning an overtime thanks to Mikyle Grantlin, but
- 16:42Speaker 7: it was Beck of Seneca that made the backcheck on
- 16:44Speaker 7: the play, you know, to create that in the first place.
- 16:48Speaker 7: So overall, you know, I think both sides of his
- 16:51Speaker 7: game have been improving and so happy for him to,
- 16:55Speaker 7: you know, be a part of that.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Called their conversation right now about the injury front.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Here, finally Mason McTavish late scratch at Colorado upper body injury.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Then you have the Troy Terry issue upper body the
- 17:07Speaker 2: reportedly he could play on this trip. Then the Ducks
- 17:10Speaker 2: also missing Frank Patronto, and of course we mentioned the
- 17:14Speaker 2: biggest one of those here on the shelf, that's Leo
- 17:16Speaker 2: Carlson reportedly out three to five weeks. Alexis, how are
- 17:20Speaker 2: the Ducks moving through this and who do you see
- 17:22Speaker 2: making the quickest return so far?
- 17:25Speaker 7: Yeah, it's been tough, I mean to be honest with you.
- 17:28Speaker 7: But the crazy thing about it is the team has
- 17:31Speaker 7: just not backed down through this. I mean they've actually
- 17:36Speaker 7: really flipped the script and stepped up. You know, we
- 17:39Speaker 7: get a guy like Jeffery Veel in the trade and
- 17:42Speaker 7: he has been doing all the little things right since
- 17:44Speaker 7: he joined the Ducks, and you know, historically when you
- 17:46Speaker 7: look through his numbers, not someone that you expect to
- 17:48Speaker 7: bring an offensive side of his games to the team,
- 17:52Speaker 7: but he has, so that's been a nice boost for
- 17:55Speaker 7: the team recently, in addition to his physicality. But yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 7: I think that it's been a old team mentality and
- 18:01Speaker 7: it really has been the difference in their defensive play recently,
- 18:04Speaker 7: just being a lot more responsible, simplifying their game. And
- 18:08Speaker 7: I think that mindset has really helped some of these
- 18:12Speaker 7: younger players in the lineup because you know, they they're without,
- 18:17Speaker 7: as you just said, you know, the top leaders for
- 18:20Speaker 7: this team right now, so the whole group has had
- 18:23Speaker 7: to adjust. And you know, you see a guy like
- 18:26Speaker 7: Chris krider Mi, Kyle Granlin, these veteran guys, Alex Kloor,
- 18:30Speaker 7: and they kind of lead by example. So I think
- 18:32Speaker 7: that the team overall, they haven't been panicking without some
- 18:36Speaker 7: of these guys that you know are injured. But I
- 18:39Speaker 7: do think that on the injuries front, hopefully, like you mentioned,
- 18:42Speaker 7: hopefully going to see Troy Perry back here soon. You know,
- 18:46Speaker 7: I think he is the closest to return, not on
- 18:49Speaker 7: the trip right now, but hopefully he will join the team.
- 18:52Speaker 7: It's a long enough trip, there's still some time. But
- 18:55Speaker 7: as for the other guys, still waiting to get an
- 18:57Speaker 7: update on Micavish. Not sure what that situation looks like
- 19:01Speaker 7: because I didn't even see what happened yesterday. I don't
- 19:03Speaker 7: know if it was in warm ups or something. When
- 19:05Speaker 7: he came off the ice were all a little bit confused.
- 19:08Speaker 7: So yeah, I think that they're in the right headspace.
- 19:11Speaker 7: And really helps when you have a head coach like
- 19:13Speaker 7: Joe Quinn Bill because you know he's he puts that
- 19:17Speaker 7: I guess that message to the team that you know,
- 19:20Speaker 7: this is nothing to worry about. We can still play
- 19:24Speaker 7: our games, simplify it, check, you know, do all the
- 19:27Speaker 7: right things and still come away with wins. And that's
- 19:29Speaker 7: exactly what they've done through this by being winning streak.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Well, when you're in a spotlight these two teams this
- 19:34Speaker 2: point of the season, you're certainly doing something right at
- 19:36Speaker 2: the crack and entering game fifty and the Ducks entering
- 19:38Speaker 2: game fifty one just two points apart right now for
- 19:42Speaker 2: a third place in the Pacific Division. This is going
- 19:45Speaker 2: to be a collision. We're looking forward to it. But
- 19:47Speaker 2: I want to say appreciate this, and hey for the
- 19:50Speaker 2: busy schedule.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I raise you a cup of coffee. Thank you again,
- 19:53Speaker 3: have a great show and looking forward to seeing you soon.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Once again, thanks so much, Mike. All right, big thank
- 19:58Speaker 2: you to Alexis Downy for joining us here. Is certainly
- 20:01Speaker 2: a big matchup on tap where the two teams separated
- 20:04Speaker 2: by just two points for third place in the Pacific Division.
- 20:08Speaker 2: The Kraken have already won the first two matchups head
- 20:12Speaker 2: to head. One more matchup to go between the two
- 20:15Speaker 2: teams that will be in Anaheim coming up on February third.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Hope that you can join us here for this one.
