Paul Shupe is one of four co-authors of "The Wilderness of Friendship: Forty Years of Hospitality, Vulnerability, and Wonder." Shupe and his three co-authors have been close friends since their student days at Vanderbilt Divinity School. The book's title refers in part to the week in the wilderness that they experience together once a year.
