Cause it's gonna just kind of it's designed to kind of punch you in the face and then leave you and leave you to figure it out, right? So brown spotting. when I was a girl, when I was a teenager, even as a young adult, I thought that brown spotting was normal. I thought it was just a part of your period. I didn't really have any education at all about what was a normal period, what was not a normal period, what was healthy, what was not healthy. I knew when I first had gotten my periods, they were not healthy because I wouldn't stop bleeding. I had a lot of issues when I first got my periods. so I knew that wasn't normal, but other than that, I I literally just didn't know anything. So this is for you. if you have also thought that brown bleeding and brown spotting is normal. And I'm just here to tell you that's a myth. It is not normal. There can be like a there's going to be a small sliver. Of how of where and how it can be normal. And I'll explain that. And then the the rest and the majority of when you're having brown bleeding or brown spotting, it's not just old blood, it signals that your body is struggling hormonally and it's having a hard time letting go of that uterine lining in your period. And it's an indicator that your body might need some extra help and extra support. And especially if you were in a season of Having a history of miscarriage, or maybe you've recently lost a baby, or if you have been trying to conceive for a very long time, or you've just been trying to conceive for a few months and you're like, what's going on? And if brown bleeding or brown spotting is a part of your story, you've got to listen to this. So excited to talk about it. Let's dive in. So we've debunked, like, hey, this is not normal. This is not just old blood. This is not just a part of your period. So When brown bleeding or brown spotting is normal, is if you have like a little bit, you know, the day that your period starts, that's fine. Not a big deal, right? Like you notice it once or twice or whatever, and then your period starts and you don't notice anything after that. Okay, that's fine. If you notice it once or twice and then your period starts. and then maybe you notice it like once or twice. when you use the restroom, right? after your period, not a big deal. Okay. When it becomes too much, it's maybe you have a whole day of brown spotting or brown bleeding, and it's like every time you use the bathroom, or maybe it's two or three days of brown spotting or brown bleeding. And if it's more than that, certainly before your period. also, if you have A whole day where it's like every time you use the restroom, like six to eight times of brown bleeding after like at the end of your period, that's something to look at. And especially again, if it's two or three days after your period, you're having brown bleeding or brown spotting. Your body is trying to talk to you. And my job as your sister in Christ and your hormone coach is to tell you you need to listen to your body. And our body speaks as a woman through our ovulation cycle and through different biomarkers. And one of our biomarkers is what comes out of our perennial area. So it can be cervical mucus, it could be sensations of dryness, it could be sensations of like that egg white slippery. You know, it could be our period, it could be our heaviness of bleeding, it could be the quality of The menstruation, it could be the brown bleeding. So our body is talking to us through one of these biomarkers of what's coming out of our perennium or what our perrenium feels like. so you know, we we really need to listen to that. So we've talked about, you know, when this can be normal, we've talked about when it reaches outside the range of normal, and let's talk about what it could mean. So it's not just that this is like, this is just old blood that hangs out. it it means that the body is having a hard time being done or getting started with the period. and oftentimes this can signify potentially low progesterone. So so if we're seeing this really frequently, we're seeing it in amounts that are greater than normal with the brown bleeding or brown spotting, are I I want you to start thinking about like, huh what's going on with my body? What's going on with my heart and my mind. Because that's going to be connected to your progesterone. What's going on with my stress levels? How is my sleep going? How am I nourishing myself? How's my hydration? Like, those are all the questions I want you to start thinking about. Because if it is low progesterone that you're struggling with, it's not just like, well, go take some progesterone and it's going to fix all your problems. There's always a reason why we may have low progesterone. And it's not just that it's a low hormone, there's a reason that the hormone is low. And so, you know, the things that I think of immediately are your adrenals, your stress, your sleep, your thyroid, all of those kinds of things. So usually when we have low progesterone or our body is giving us symptoms of that, that's always my thought of like, okay, well, why? Why? And not only that, we don't it's it's not just that that impacts our progesterone. It's also the quality of our ovulation and also what was leading up to our ovulation. So it's really a foolful picture of what's going on in our entire cycle from cycle day one, the first day we get our period, until the last day of our cycle, the day before our next period. And so the brown bleeding, it's it's not like a diagnosis of what you may have, but it's a signal that your body is trying to talk to you. And you want to listen to it and try to interpret and figure out what's going on. So if you want to learn more about how to do that, I'm going to go a lot deeper in that hormone reset bootcamp that I talked about at the beginning. You can go to beccayon.com/slash bootcamp, get on that list. There will be limited spots. I want to get to know each of you who get to join that class. But if you've listened to the podcast for a while, you're gonna hear like, ooh, we're not just talking about. the physical, what we can see and what we can tangibly physically do and control. So you guys, let me just pray over you today. Lord Jesus, we come before you. I thank you for my sweet sister in Christ. God, I thank you for how you have fearfully and wonderfully made her and designed her. I thank you for this little nugget of knowledge about how you have designed her body to give her information for how to better steward and take care of her body. So Lord, I pray that if she is dealing with brown bleeding or brown spotting that's outside the range of normal, Holy Spirit, would you direct her steps? Would you let her not live in fear? or or being scared, but that she would be curious and be interested to learn about what her body is trying to tell her and about how you are guiding her in this process. Lord, I pray for a blessing over her journey and her fertilityhood. And God, if she is dealing with suffering and sorrow, I thank you for it, Lord. And I pray that she would be able to thank you as well for the suffering and for the sorrow and her fertility as it's bringing her closer to you. Jesus Christ. You know suffering so so much more than we ever will, Lord. So we thank you for drawing close to you in that. And God, we just humbly ask for the suffering and the sorrow to come to a close and for healing and restoration. Would you lead and guide her? In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
