- 0:08Speaker 1: Scrible advice. Sealla Loa Low. Welcome to the Naughty Nicia.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter and it's Tuesday, which means
- 0:20Speaker 1: our dear friend Delena Dixon joins us home. Mistery, are
- 0:23Speaker 1: you there? I am Oh. Did we have a fun
- 0:26Speaker 1: Friday night? Did we? There was food and singing. Absolutely
- 0:31Speaker 1: went to Frescoes by Scutter's. Our friend Rosanna owns that restaurant,
- 0:36Speaker 1: and I love it because we can storm in and
- 0:38Speaker 1: grab a table. We always meet fun people there, people
- 0:40Speaker 1: we know. We bumped into Laura and other friends. I
- 0:43Speaker 1: have so niche fun with you, Mistery. That's why we
- 0:46Speaker 1: should see each other all the time. We do see
- 0:48Speaker 1: each other all the time, but maybe more. Okay, let's
- 0:51Speaker 1: jump into the show. What time is it? My friends?
- 0:52Speaker 1: It is tea time thanks story at the top of
- 0:55Speaker 1: the show. So this Don Lemon story is not going anywhere.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And mad Patricia Heater, who I love, I love her
- 1:03Speaker 1: from Everybody Loves Raymond tons of other shows. She's clapping
- 1:06Speaker 1: back at Don and really doing something that I think
- 1:10Speaker 1: is so smart. She's listing everything that she has accomplished
- 1:15Speaker 1: after fifty So she's really mad with these comments by
- 1:20Speaker 1: Don Lemmon about women in their prime and basically saying
- 1:25Speaker 1: anyone that's over fifty is not in their prime. He
- 1:30Speaker 1: doubled down on it when he was asked to clarify
- 1:33Speaker 1: to now Patricia Heaton is responding in such a clever way.
- 1:38Speaker 1: She wrote the following, Kay, ladies, and Don Lemon thinks
- 1:41Speaker 1: women over fifty or past their prime. Let's start a
- 1:44Speaker 1: prime time list to show him some of the things
- 1:48Speaker 1: we have accomplished in these glorious later years. In a
- 1:53Speaker 1: very lengthy post, she went on to say that she
- 1:56Speaker 1: had produced a comedy, she had wrote and published a book,
- 2:00Speaker 1: she had created an award winning and Emmy Award winning
- 2:04Speaker 1: food network show, and she also had produced and graduated
- 2:10Speaker 1: four sons from college and even more since turning fifty.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So yes, it's a little bit cheeky. Yes, there's a
- 2:19Speaker 1: lot of stuff here that she means. But I think
- 2:22Speaker 1: a lot of people, not just women, are really angry
- 2:25Speaker 1: about these comments. Mystery, what are you hearing? Well, a
- 2:29Speaker 1: group of my friends are not happy with him, and
- 2:31Speaker 1: those are ones who are over fifty and under fifty,
- 2:35Speaker 1: so they don't like to be insulted that they are
- 2:37Speaker 1: past their prime. At any age, and looky, you and
- 2:40Speaker 1: I have both done live television and and this is
- 2:42Speaker 1: why we live by just a punch, not a punch.
- 2:45Speaker 1: If you decide to say something controversial on live television,
- 2:49Speaker 1: no matter how you meant it for to be taken,
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's not going to land well. And this is why
- 2:55Speaker 1: we are nice and kind on the Naught even nice show.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But the real question is about Don Lemon's job. What
- 3:02Speaker 1: we'll see inn and do and where the answer is
- 3:05Speaker 1: going to come from is what kind of numbers he gets.
- 3:08Speaker 1: If people are tuning in to see what happens, that
- 3:11Speaker 1: could help him stay on. Maybe the anger will be
- 3:14Speaker 1: so loud that they just can't keep him on no
- 3:17Speaker 1: matter what. Yeah, I think people are going to tune in.
- 3:19Speaker 1: He was off yesterday. I think people are going to
- 3:21Speaker 1: tune in when he returns just to see what sort
- 3:24Speaker 1: of train wreck this is. But that doesn't stay in
- 3:28Speaker 1: an audience. I think people now are watching really for
- 3:31Speaker 1: the wrong reasons, which is really to see what is
- 3:34Speaker 1: he going to do next? And this is where it
- 3:37Speaker 1: becomes a real problem. And he made one silly mistake,
- 3:41Speaker 1: not good, in fact, terrible, but you can move on.
- 3:44Speaker 1: He has a bit of a history of doing this.
- 3:46Speaker 1: For weeks, there were complaints that he overtalked. Apparently one
- 3:50Speaker 1: person on the show, a woman on the show, is
- 3:52Speaker 1: left in tears after he told her off. There's lots
- 3:55Speaker 1: of examples. In fact, I think it was the Daily
- 3:58Speaker 1: Beast who put together a video montage of every time
- 4:02Speaker 1: Don has interrupted somebody on that show, and it's always
- 4:05Speaker 1: a woman. Now, sources are telling me that he was
- 4:09Speaker 1: in prime time by himself for a very long time,
- 4:12Speaker 1: so he got used to doing a solo show, and
- 4:15Speaker 1: when you're used to doing a solo show, sharing can
- 4:18Speaker 1: be difficult. However, that is now the job at hand,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and if you can't do it, then don't do it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: But I think that this is unsustainable mystery. I'm not
- 4:27Speaker 1: sure if he can bounce back from this one. I've
- 4:30Speaker 1: seen people get angry over politics. We all have you
- 4:33Speaker 1: like this person, I like that person, but this is
- 4:36Speaker 1: something different and it feels different, and even people that
- 4:40Speaker 1: liked done, including me, have sort of turned on him.
- 4:44Speaker 1: This is this is ugly. I don't like this at all. Politics,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I know. I never understand this. Why politics gets into
- 4:51Speaker 1: judging a person on their appearance or their aid. What
- 4:55Speaker 1: does that have to do with the job. That's not
- 4:58Speaker 1: what the job is about. It's serving people. So we
- 5:00Speaker 1: need to talk about what their beliefs are in running politics.
- 5:04Speaker 1: We need to talk about their experience, We need to
- 5:07Speaker 1: talk about their successes and failures. So saying something like
- 5:10Speaker 1: that is just especially when you're supposed to be on
- 5:12Speaker 1: a new show, is kind of silly and stupid and lazy.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It means you're not doing your research so you can
- 5:18Speaker 1: talk about what she's done or he has done and
- 5:22Speaker 1: analyze that. And when you're on a political show, you
- 5:25Speaker 1: need to talk about their experience and what they have done. Well,
- 5:29Speaker 1: said Mr. The next couple of days are going to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be really crucial for them. I don't think he can
- 5:35Speaker 1: afford another mistake. If he does indeed come back, he's
- 5:39Speaker 1: got to really be careful. And that might be the
- 5:41Speaker 1: kiss of death too, because if he starts to censor himself,
- 5:46Speaker 1: maybe the show's ratings will go down because people won't
- 5:49Speaker 1: be so interested in And I say live TV really
- 5:53Speaker 1: brings out the truth in who you are. It literally
- 5:56Speaker 1: literally shines a spotlight onto your personality, and some people
- 6:01Speaker 1: are just not ready for it. You've got to have
- 6:04Speaker 1: a certain disposition, a Kelly Ripper type disposition to do
- 6:10Speaker 1: live TV, because if you're hiding the fact that you're
- 6:14Speaker 1: a mean girl, that you're edgy, that your sexiest, that
- 6:17Speaker 1: you're racist, it will come out on live TV. And
- 6:21Speaker 1: I think Donna has probably been exposed. And once the
- 6:24Speaker 1: genie is out of the bottle, it is, in my opinion,
- 6:29Speaker 1: almost impossible to put it back in. But let's go
- 6:32Speaker 1: to our pole question of the day. Patricia Heaton, whom
- 6:36Speaker 1: I do love. She's from Everybody Loves Raymond. Yes, I
- 6:39Speaker 1: love her. In that show Mystery. She has an epic
- 6:43Speaker 1: response to Don's comments. What she did was she listed
- 6:47Speaker 1: all her accomplishments after being over fifties, So everything that
- 6:52Speaker 1: she's done since she's been fifties. She put together a
- 6:56Speaker 1: listen it is phenomenal? Is a just a number? That's
- 7:01Speaker 1: our question? Hey, gay votes on a Twitter page at
- 7:04Speaker 1: Naughty Nice rob a Facebook page nor gasip and the
- 7:07Speaker 1: issue is to check back to morrow to hear your results.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Hey Misty, what are you liking on there? All right,
- 7:14Speaker 1: You're going to have to listen very carefully because there
- 7:16Speaker 1: are some tricky names in this so Gia Judici Colling
- 7:21Speaker 1: is calling out her uncle Joe Gorga for posting his
- 7:25Speaker 1: reunion with her father Joe Judici on social media after
- 7:30Speaker 1: bashing him for years on The Real Housewives in New Jersey.
- 7:34Speaker 1: So Ga wrote, this is honestly comical, knowing that you
- 7:37Speaker 1: were with him for not even five minutes and we're
- 7:41Speaker 1: able to have someone take some video of the interaction. Meanwhile,
- 7:45Speaker 1: all you've done is talk poorly about my father. This
- 7:48Speaker 1: is coming from the aspiring lawyer. She's twenty two years old.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You're such an opportunist to take advantage of the once
- 7:55Speaker 1: in a lifetime opportunity to see my father and use
- 7:58Speaker 1: it as a post. Now, Riga posted a clip of
- 8:01Speaker 1: himself embracing his former brother in law while on vacation
- 8:05Speaker 1: in the Bahamas, and that's where Joe has been since
- 8:08Speaker 1: he was deported from the u S. He captioned it,
- 8:11Speaker 1: both walked into the same bar at the same time. Now,
- 8:15Speaker 1: both men seemed very happy in the video. They both
- 8:17Speaker 1: had big smiles on their faces. But after Jia's comment,
- 8:21Speaker 1: her uncle went back and said, we both said horrible
- 8:25Speaker 1: things about each other and it was a nice moment.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We have a lot of history. Get the hate out
- 8:31Speaker 1: of your heart. So what do you think were you
- 8:33Speaker 1: able to follow up? That was a lot of Jess
- 8:35Speaker 1: and Jason there. Nobody tells a complicated story as well
- 8:40Speaker 1: as you. But I think that's what really The Real
- 8:45Speaker 1: Housewives is about. They scream and shout and say horrible
- 8:48Speaker 1: things to one another, and then they sign up and
- 8:50Speaker 1: do another season. I don't get it, like it's not
- 8:54Speaker 1: real friends like we have. If somebody used that mean
- 8:57Speaker 1: to me, I stay away from them, and if I
- 8:59Speaker 1: do you they might try to be plighted. I try
- 9:01Speaker 1: to say, hello, I'm not taking self. It's with them.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It's such a thirsty reality star thing to do, and
- 9:08Speaker 1: it is amazing kind of phony misty show business really
- 9:12Speaker 1: can be. We've been out with people who are like
- 9:16Speaker 1: sword enemies they hate each other on TV, and that
- 9:19Speaker 1: they sit down and have a drink together or get
- 9:21Speaker 1: at restaurant together. It is so posare I watch it
- 9:26Speaker 1: all the time. How about the ladies on the View?
- 9:28Speaker 1: They scream and they share at each other and then
- 9:30Speaker 1: they go out and have dinner together. So I think
- 9:33Speaker 1: I don't know if it's actually a good liston or
- 9:35Speaker 1: a bad If somebody upsets me and it's really mean,
- 9:38Speaker 1: just really mean or mean to somebody I love. That's
- 9:41Speaker 1: more important. I can forgive you if you mean to me,
- 9:44Speaker 1: But if you mean to somebody I love, I ain't
- 9:46Speaker 1: take him self is with you. I think for them,
- 9:50Speaker 1: it's about keeping the show alive, keeping this the enterprise alive.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And so that means that when you're off camera, you
- 10:00Speaker 1: want to come across in a certain way. You want
- 10:02Speaker 1: to come across as jovial and approachable, and you want
- 10:06Speaker 1: to get likes on your social media because that goes
- 10:08Speaker 1: back to your bosses. He says, Oh, people like you
- 10:11Speaker 1: and you get a second, third, fourth, fifth season. Yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 1: it's a weird world, Yeah, it does it. It's tempting.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I do understand it. Like we've been out and we've
- 10:19Speaker 1: been bumped into really controversial figures. I remember once when
- 10:23Speaker 1: we went to a birthday party and Rudy Giuliani was there.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I mean, we have made some very controversial people. We
- 10:28Speaker 1: do not do politics on the show, but I don't
- 10:31Speaker 1: take pictures with them. I just it's not my thing.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I can take a picture with a housewife or maybe
- 10:35Speaker 1: even tan mom, but I don't. I don't know if
- 10:38Speaker 1: if you really need to me I sort of stay away.
- 10:42Speaker 1: We have some big breaking news that we have to
- 10:44Speaker 1: get into. The special prosecutor in the Rust case has
- 10:49Speaker 1: dropped the fire arms enhancement challenge against Alec Baldwin. Let
- 10:55Speaker 1: me explain what this means. So the Santa Fe County
- 10:59Speaker 1: d A has a little bit of embarrassing news today.
- 11:02Speaker 1: They have dropped a charge against Alec. And now what
- 11:05Speaker 1: that means is that if he is convicted, he might
- 11:09Speaker 1: not have to spend any time behind bars. So that
- 11:12Speaker 1: d A have dropped the gun enhancement charges in the case.
- 11:18Speaker 1: This is after his lawyer, Alex's lawyer filed emotion really
- 11:23Speaker 1: saying that the prosecutors has had no reason to apply
- 11:27Speaker 1: this to his case. So this law didn't actually come
- 11:31Speaker 1: into effect until after the shooting happened, and so it
- 11:37Speaker 1: just made no sense. Now, this law added up to
- 11:42Speaker 1: five years of prison time to the case. So the
- 11:46Speaker 1: fact that this part has been dropped, it means the
- 11:48Speaker 1: case will still go forward and there's definitely a lot
- 11:52Speaker 1: of stuff to be debated, a lot of facts that
- 11:55Speaker 1: have to be figured out, but it does mean here
- 11:59Speaker 1: that he will, if convicted, possibly serve about eighteen months
- 12:05Speaker 1: and he still faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter for
- 12:09Speaker 1: the shooting. But the case here, the allegation here that
- 12:15Speaker 1: he somehow was involved in this gun enhancement charge being
- 12:21Speaker 1: thrown out. So he had some very good news today.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Once again, the case is not over, but it definitely
- 12:28Speaker 1: changes the case. It depends what you are brought up on, mystery,
- 12:32Speaker 1: if you brought up on murder, bank robbery does make
- 12:35Speaker 1: a difference because the sentence in reflects the crime. And
- 12:39Speaker 1: so here I think Alec had a very very good day. Hey,
- 12:43Speaker 1: moving along, Let's get to some nice news. Kendall Jenna
- 12:47Speaker 1: might be dating again. Tell us all ah, yeah, So
- 12:52Speaker 1: Kendall Jenna was started leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills
- 12:56Speaker 1: after reportedly having dinner with musical artists wait for it,
- 13:00Speaker 1: bad Bunny, who she's rumored to be dating. Now. She
- 13:04Speaker 1: exited through a separate entrance than him, because that's how
- 13:07Speaker 1: you do when you're a celebrity. But the gossip blog
- 13:11Speaker 1: dem moix oh I Love that recently alleged that the
- 13:14Speaker 1: pair had been seen kissing and they're dating, and so
- 13:17Speaker 1: they said the single famous model sister was seen playing
- 13:21Speaker 1: Hansel hockey. I haven't heard that in a while with
- 13:24Speaker 1: bad money in a private club in l A. Don't
- 13:27Speaker 1: you love that? Those blind rumors that they put out there.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So when Kimdall left the club, she got into a car.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Two minutes later, bad Bunny got into a car. She
- 13:37Speaker 1: most recently dated an NBA player. If you know who,
- 13:39Speaker 1: he is, good for you. But you know what, she
- 13:42Speaker 1: a young girl, So work your way through all the hotties. Girl,
- 13:45Speaker 1: let me know about it. I like it. I like her.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I like him too. I wasn't that aware of him.
- 13:51Speaker 1: He's an international store that I wasn't that aware of
- 13:55Speaker 1: until the Grammy Awards he opened it. Oh, I fell
- 13:57Speaker 1: in love. He's so terrific. I think he has a
- 14:00Speaker 1: girlfriend though, or maybe hopefully that is not the case anymore,
- 14:04Speaker 1: But who knows. These young Hollywood stars were wishing you
- 14:07Speaker 1: think but the best. Hey, quickly, before we get a break.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Andy Coney is saying that his Real Housewives show gave
- 14:12Speaker 1: women over fifty a platform to express themselves sexually. So
- 14:17Speaker 1: there's lots of criticism of the Housewives. All the bad behavior,
- 14:21Speaker 1: all the toxic, awful things they do is rewarded with
- 14:24Speaker 1: a lot of money and a lot of fame. However,
- 14:26Speaker 1: Andy is pointing out one of the good things about
- 14:28Speaker 1: the show is there is no place for women over fifty,
- 14:30Speaker 1: particularly on TV, to be sexual anymore, and now that
- 14:34Speaker 1: has changed. I think he makes a valid point here, Misty.
- 14:38Speaker 1: There are a lot of problems. I've been the first
- 14:40Speaker 1: to say it with this show. I used to love
- 14:42Speaker 1: it and then I went off in a little bit.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It got too nasty for me. But he is right.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Women over fifty forget being sexual. They just didn't exist
- 14:49Speaker 1: at all really on TV. But now the Real Housewives
- 14:53Speaker 1: have changed all that. Hey, we're going to take a
- 14:56Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 14:59Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Night Show with that dear friend,
- 15:02Speaker 1: Mr hamous Lee. Let's get to the Poles ring. So
- 15:05Speaker 1: yesterday we talked about Don Lemon apologizing to the c
- 15:09Speaker 1: N and staff for what he said about Nicki Haley's age.
- 15:13Speaker 1: But the network and the staff are not really buying
- 15:16Speaker 1: the apology. Should Don be fired? It's a tough question.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Let's have a look said, yes, it's time to move on.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote Pole. Go to our Twitter page
- 15:30Speaker 1: at Naughty Nights rob at Facebook page and already guys
- 15:33Speaker 1: here and be sewers to check back tomorrower to hear
- 15:36Speaker 1: your results. And now it's time for our nicest. Well,
- 15:43Speaker 1: our nicest of the day is Hannah Brown. She's a
- 15:46Speaker 1: former Bachelotte. Hannah Brown, she is a former Bachelor roll rat,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and she is not watching this season of The Bachelor.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Um you know it's it's Zach shall Kraft and fans
- 15:57Speaker 1: of the show have said that he's kind of the
- 15:59Speaker 1: boring Bucheler. It's kind of a boring season, and that's
- 16:02Speaker 1: the kind of negativity that she doesn't like. So that's
- 16:05Speaker 1: why she's she's not watching the show because she doesn't
- 16:07Speaker 1: want to get mired in that. Um. But she's especially
- 16:10Speaker 1: appreciative of the supports that she gets from Bachelor Nation
- 16:14Speaker 1: because so it's really hard for her when she hears
- 16:16Speaker 1: bad things about The Bachelor and her show and then
- 16:19Speaker 1: getting attacked on social media. And she says, I think
- 16:22Speaker 1: part of the perias and people like to watch the
- 16:25Speaker 1: show is they like to poke fun or say what
- 16:28Speaker 1: they would do or what they wouldn't do if they
- 16:30Speaker 1: were in this circumstance. I have a lot of empathy
- 16:33Speaker 1: for anybody on the show, and I don't want them
- 16:36Speaker 1: to get in that cycle. And as we know, reality
- 16:39Speaker 1: television isn't the easiest thing to do. You put your
- 16:42Speaker 1: full self out there. You can be edited in any
- 16:44Speaker 1: way the producers want, so, you know, have a little
- 16:47Speaker 1: heart for them. That's what she's doing, absolutely, And I
- 16:49Speaker 1: say do this in your life too. Don't get tricked
- 16:52Speaker 1: by stuff. If stuff upsets you stuff, stop watching it.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You don't have to watch it. You don't have to
- 16:58Speaker 1: read it. If you're scrolling of your Instagram account right
- 17:02Speaker 1: now and seeing pictures people you don't like and follow them,
- 17:05Speaker 1: you don't have to do anything you don't want to do.
- 17:08Speaker 1: That's the message there, and nicest of the day. And
- 17:11Speaker 1: now I noticed the day Noughty Noughty Noughty, Adele and
- 17:14Speaker 1: Ed Sheeran have declined to perform Prince Charles's coronation, So
- 17:18Speaker 1: Prince Charles was asked to put together a list of
- 17:21Speaker 1: great Britts he wanted Daddy's coronation. Adele and Edward at
- 17:24Speaker 1: the top of the list. Now ed has applausible excuse.
- 17:28Speaker 1: He's performing in Texas the day before the coronation, so
- 17:31Speaker 1: it'll be difficult to squeeze it all in However, I
- 17:34Speaker 1: checked adele schedule pretty clear. Unless there's something on there
- 17:37Speaker 1: that I don't know, it's pretty clear his day. So
- 17:40Speaker 1: she just declined without giving a reason. It's reported that
- 17:44Speaker 1: the Get This the Spice Girls might be performing, and
- 17:50Speaker 1: andrewoid whatever is writing a special son too. Oh that's
- 17:53Speaker 1: too bad. I'd love to see Adele and ed performing
- 17:58Speaker 1: the best of Britain and naught to us the day.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Let's end with a moment of Robbi Getta. Robbie Robietta.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Rob get The only one with the power to decide
- 18:09Speaker 1: to change your life or to continue with the status
- 18:13Speaker 1: quo is you. Behavior good and bad begins with the
- 18:19Speaker 1: choices that you make every single day. No one's coming
- 18:25Speaker 1: along to change anything for you, not going to happen.
- 18:29Speaker 1: The only person that can make a change for good
- 18:33Speaker 1: and bad. Let's remember that every choice is not a
