- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:29Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:32Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and our friend Raj Sharma is out today
- 0:39Speaker 1: traveling coming back to Texas from Connecticut from doing weekend
- 0:42Speaker 1: gigs and little family as she was dealing with. So
- 0:45Speaker 1: all right, best wishes to Raj and his family. I'm
- 0:51Speaker 1: not gonna mince any words. I'm not gonna stall. I'm
- 0:54Speaker 1: gonna jump right in the way that the Dallas Cowboys
- 0:58Speaker 1: have taught me to over the years. Win or lose,
- 1:03Speaker 1: the Dallas Cowboys know how to make headlines, and that
- 1:06Speaker 1: is true again from this weekend into this morning, Monday,
- 1:11Speaker 1: September twenty third, twenty twenty four, Jerry Jones really stepped on.
- 1:17Speaker 2: At this time.
- 1:19Speaker 1: In an Instagram live video that was broadcast by actor,
- 1:26Speaker 1: comedian and huge Cowboys fan Jamie Foxx, Jerry Jones could
- 1:35Speaker 1: be heard describing some of the physical attributes of one
- 1:38Speaker 1: of his players. Those attributes included things like how call
- 1:43Speaker 1: he was, how much he weighed, how fast his forty
- 1:49Speaker 1: time is, even how big his hands were. But it
- 1:53Speaker 1: didn't end there, because Jerry Jones also casually just mentioned
- 1:57Speaker 1: how big that players was, and right at that moment
- 2:02Speaker 1: in the video is when is when Jamie Foxx went
- 2:04Speaker 1: uh and then ended the Instagram live. But as we know,
- 2:09Speaker 1: if you do something on the Internet, it's going to
- 2:12Speaker 1: live forever because someone somewhere has record already hit just
- 2:19Speaker 1: in case, and it paid off for one account. It
- 2:22Speaker 1: was something about block tips or something. I don't know
- 2:27Speaker 1: if it's a gun account or whatever it is, but
- 2:29Speaker 1: they got their watermark all over the video, and by god,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I was happy to use it on Sunday morning and
- 2:33Speaker 1: share it on our Instagram, which by the way, is
- 2:35Speaker 1: at Treehouse on Air. And I have to admit, I
- 2:42Speaker 1: have to admit that I've started thinking about, hmm, wonder
- 2:47Speaker 1: what your player he's talking about? And I started to
- 2:51Speaker 1: do a little research, but I stopped just short of
- 2:54Speaker 1: googling who on the Cowboys has an eight inch I
- 3:00Speaker 1: didn't want that in my Google history, and I have
- 3:02Speaker 1: a very colorful Google history, but I have to draw
- 3:05Speaker 1: the line somewhere. I did search for which player was
- 3:09Speaker 1: Jerry Jones talking about, And at the time we've recorded
- 3:12Speaker 1: this show, no one had come to a conclusion yet.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I had my guesses and looked up a couple of
- 3:19Speaker 1: players without searching for who on the Cowboys has an
- 3:22Speaker 1: eight and a half inch, But my results were inconclusive.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I feel like if you asked Siri that question, she
- 3:30Speaker 3: would respond, who doesn't?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Maybe, and I would be curious about what series doing
- 3:38Speaker 1: in the Cowboys locker room looking at all those things.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Maybe the plot determinator wasn't so bad. Maybe they're not
- 3:47Speaker 1: out to kill us, They're just out to look at
- 3:48Speaker 1: all of our Now, when you have an owner of
- 3:55Speaker 1: an NFL team talking about the physical attributes of his players,
- 4:00Speaker 1: especially when it gets all the way down to the
- 4:02Speaker 1: crotch area, there are going to be people that are
- 4:05Speaker 1: going to draw. In this case, I think it's warranted
- 4:09Speaker 1: the correlation between NFL owners and plantation owners. And that's
- 4:17Speaker 1: why when I put in the caption of our post
- 4:19Speaker 1: about Jerry Jones talking about his players, it stirred controversy
- 4:27Speaker 1: as well as memes, especially when you say it next
- 4:30Speaker 1: to Django.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I mean, what the I mean? Come on, Jesu, Yeah,
- 4:43Speaker 2: that's I mean.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I I know Jerry's taking a bad rap, and you know,
- 4:51Speaker 3: sometimes rightfully so, but.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Damn, it's just you. He could not sound older or wider.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and especially when you really start to break
- 5:10Speaker 1: down not the measurements of all the players or this
- 5:14Speaker 1: particular player, but when you start to break down all
- 5:19Speaker 1: the things that have made the news off the field
- 5:22Speaker 1: with Jerry Jones in the time that he has been
- 5:24Speaker 1: the owner of the Cowboys since nineteen eighty nine. Right,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm not even cher if I remember all of them,
- 5:31Speaker 1: because there's so many things. I mean, going back, like
- 5:34Speaker 1: just trying to think most recently, and maybe you work
- 5:37Speaker 1: our way back. Most recently you had the paternity lawsuit
- 5:42Speaker 1: that was dropped by the girl claiming that Jerry Jones
- 5:46Speaker 1: was her father and that he had been paying off
- 5:48Speaker 1: the mother for twenty something years. I feel like I
- 5:54Speaker 1: maybe even missed one already before that. You also get
- 5:57Speaker 1: one of my favorite Jerry quotes and pieces of audio
- 6:02Speaker 1: and video was at the beginning of a training camp,
- 6:07Speaker 1: he talks about wanting to get some glory whole. Yeah,
- 6:10Speaker 1: of course he was talking about you know, the old
- 6:12Speaker 1: oil drilling reference, not you know, bathroom stalls at you know,
- 6:16Speaker 1: rest stops. But still that's the sort of thing that
- 6:19Speaker 1: you know he could slide by because there was a
- 6:21Speaker 1: double meaning there, not here there is no other meeting.
- 6:24Speaker 1: When you're talking about one of your players having an
- 6:26Speaker 1: eight and a half inch there's no other way to
- 6:30Speaker 1: take that other than with lots of lube.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Obviously it left an impression on Jerry. He's seen him,
- 6:42Speaker 3: surely he's seen quite a few over the years.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Now you bring me to one of the notes I
- 6:46Speaker 1: had written down about this particular topic, which is who's
- 6:50Speaker 1: that guy who's got that job? Who's got the measuring
- 6:53Speaker 1: job with the Dallas Cowboys? Because you know, guys run
- 6:56Speaker 1: around the Metroplex with a star on their chest or
- 7:00Speaker 1: their hat and they say I work for the Dallas Cowboys,
- 7:03Speaker 1: thinking that's going to get them somewhere. But what if
- 7:05Speaker 1: you're the measuring guy that works for the Dallas Cowboys.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Is that the job that you tell people that you
- 7:09Speaker 1: have or do you try to keep that a secret?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Well? Is that a.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Is that a full time job or is it just
- 7:16Speaker 3: like the combine in the fall?
- 7:19Speaker 4: Oh?
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it could be seasonal, yeah, because I don't think
- 7:21Speaker 1: they need to remeasure those things. I mean, throughout a
- 7:24Speaker 1: player's career, their forty time might decrease, but I don't
- 7:28Speaker 1: think they're due. In case you missed it. I think
- 7:34Speaker 1: we should for the sake of news, we should share
- 7:40Speaker 1: the actual incident in which Jerry Jones is caught by
- 7:45Speaker 1: Jamie Fox's Instagram live talking about the physical attributes of
- 7:49Speaker 1: one of his players. Hang on, one second, there we go,
- 7:57Speaker 1: all right, Drake, can you see that?
- 7:59Speaker 2: Okay?
- 8:00Speaker 1: All right, So here we have a video. This is
- 8:02Speaker 1: Jamie FOXX on his phone sitting on the fifty yard
- 8:04Speaker 1: line next to Jerry Jones. He's showing practice and you
- 8:06Speaker 1: hear the the airhorn there signaling it's time to switch
- 8:10Speaker 1: over to a different portion of practice after an offensive
- 8:15Speaker 1: play was just run.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Right, Pard to care about Jerry show.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Too?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Okay, So there you have it. He's already given some
- 8:37Speaker 1: of the essential stats of this player that he just liked.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Showed a lot of balance on that play. Uh five
- 8:44Speaker 1: nine and a half two hundred and ten pounds for
- 8:46Speaker 1: four one forty. And the next thing he's gonna mention
- 8:49Speaker 1: are the size of the player's hands, which then leads
- 8:52Speaker 1: him into the other.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Areas too, okayne, and.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Three inch.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Then a half inches dead.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Now his delivery there, It wasn't salacious, He wasn't. Jerry
- 9:20Speaker 1: Jones didn't say and get this eight and a half inch.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Can you believe it?
- 9:24Speaker 1: Oh my god, he read it like he was reading
- 9:28Speaker 1: off of a list. Seriously, did you catch that? Did
- 9:31Speaker 1: you notice that on the delivery?
- 9:33Speaker 2: It was very matter of fact.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, let me play one more time, just so
- 9:37Speaker 1: you can take it all in skip ahead.
- 9:46Speaker 4: And three inch hating a half inches dead.
- 9:52Speaker 1: So there you have it. His delivery sounds exactly like
- 9:55Speaker 1: this eight and a half inch. Now, see, it sounds
- 9:59Speaker 1: like he's a list.
- 10:05Speaker 2: So if you notice in the in the subtitles of
- 10:08Speaker 2: the video, it doesn't say hands, it says hair.
- 10:11Speaker 1: It does, but they don't. I don't think they measure
- 10:16Speaker 1: hair at the combine or when you get to the
- 10:18Speaker 1: cowboys facilities, they do measure hand size.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I don't know if they measure dicks either.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But here we are asking the question because and this
- 10:35Speaker 1: is why it's so important his delivery, because the way
- 10:38Speaker 1: he says it five nine and a half two ten
- 10:43Speaker 1: four four one nine and three inch hands eight and
- 10:47Speaker 1: a half inch, it's like it's reading from a printed list,
- 10:52Speaker 1: which means there's a file of sizes with the Dallas Cowboys,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and most of the biological measure uring happens at the
- 11:01Speaker 1: NFL combine when they measure all these other things hand size,
- 11:06Speaker 1: body measurements, like it's for a suit, speed drills, jumping, agility,
- 11:11Speaker 1: all these things, But never on NFL network do they
- 11:15Speaker 1: show the players going into the measuring room. I think
- 11:22Speaker 1: Jamie Foxx might be able to qualify as a whistleblower here.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Maybe that's why back in the day they spent so
- 11:29Speaker 3: much time at baby Dolls.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It wasn't for party, it was it was the measuring day.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Matter.
- 11:38Speaker 1: But the dancers are really excited money.
- 11:44Speaker 6: And you're listening to the Treehouse visit us online a
- 11:54Speaker 6: Treehouse on air dot com.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Speaking of measuring things, what kind of car would you like?
- 12:08Speaker 1: How big would you like that vehicle to be?
- 12:10Speaker 2: How small?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Want something practical or do you want something that will
- 12:13Speaker 1: really turn some heads, make some jaws drop. Then you
- 12:16Speaker 1: need to give our friends at fair Lease a call.
- 12:19Speaker 1: They can help you get that new vehicle. And they
- 12:21Speaker 1: could do two things extremely well. Number one is save time,
- 12:26Speaker 1: because look, when you go to a car dealership, you
- 12:28Speaker 1: can spend hours at the dealership, maybe even days, trying
- 12:32Speaker 1: to figure out how to get a deal done. Not
- 12:35Speaker 1: the case with Fairleas all you got to do is
- 12:37Speaker 1: give them a call. Go to fairlease dot org. Give
- 12:39Speaker 1: them a call. You can email as well, and they
- 12:42Speaker 1: can handle everything for you. They'll bring the vehicle to
- 12:44Speaker 1: you that you're interested in. You can sign on their
- 12:46Speaker 1: paperwork remotely. You're not wasting much of time in an
- 12:48Speaker 1: office or bouncing from office to office or you know,
- 12:51Speaker 1: having to eat bad vending food machine from the dealership
- 12:55Speaker 1: break room. They're going to take care of you. They
- 12:57Speaker 1: know your time is important. That's fair least the website fairly.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And another thing they can do is save you a
- 13:02Speaker 1: bunch of money. Save you a bunch of money because
- 13:05Speaker 1: leasing is more cost effective, saves you money versus buying.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Let them show you how it is possible. You can
- 13:10Speaker 1: also customize your lease terms as far as how long
- 13:13Speaker 1: you have the vehicle, how many miles you're gonna use
- 13:15Speaker 1: per year, so many different things to customize the lease
- 13:18Speaker 1: so it makes sense for you and your budget. So
- 13:20Speaker 1: there you have it. Save time, save money when you
- 13:22Speaker 1: get that new vehicle from fairlease. Lease from fairlease. It's
- 13:26Speaker 1: what we do here in the treehouse. Go to the website,
- 13:29Speaker 1: handle everything right then and there. It's fairlease dot org.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That's fair Lease dot org.
- 13:41Speaker 5: You're in the treehouse, visit us online at Treehouse on
- 13:46Speaker 5: Air dot com.
- 13:48Speaker 1: That first segment is brought to you by Fairlease. Fairlease

- 14:11Speaker 1: high Leo. Go to Fairleas dot org. We appreciate them.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They are what make five days a week in the
- 14:17Speaker 1: treehouse possible. So thank you to Fairlea's go give them
- 14:21Speaker 1: your money fairlyas dot org.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Good.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Trying as hard as I can to not fixate on
- 14:27Speaker 1: the eight and a half inch situation with the Dallas Cowboys,
- 14:30Speaker 1: although it's real hard because I really did wonder, Okay,
- 14:34Speaker 1: which player is he talking about? Because all right, fine,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I was thinking, we don't want to talk about this,
- 14:39Speaker 1: but I can't seem to help it. So let's dig
- 14:41Speaker 1: into it just a little bit before we move on
- 14:42Speaker 1: to why I look like I'm in an institution.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I have not fallen from the treehouse. I've not fallen
- 14:50Speaker 1: from the treehouse like some of our other treehouse colleagues have.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I'm in an Airbnb and Irving. So don't freak out me.
- 14:59Speaker 1: When you go through the stats and you take the
- 15:01Speaker 1: situation as it is with that video that Jimmie Foxx
- 15:05Speaker 1: took off Jerry Jones watching practice with the Cowboys, what
- 15:08Speaker 1: player do we think he's talking about five nine and
- 15:11Speaker 1: a half two ten, not huge, right, but that's bigger
- 15:16Speaker 1: than say, uh, Douce Fawn. Right, duce fon the third
- 15:20Speaker 1: string running back for the Cowboys. He's like five five
- 15:23Speaker 1: five six right. The reason why I focus on the
- 15:28Speaker 1: offensive players is because there was an offensive play, well,
- 15:30Speaker 1: I mean it was. It was an offense versus defensive
- 15:33Speaker 1: play that just happened. But Jerry Jones talked about in
- 15:35Speaker 1: that video he showed great balance right there, which usually
- 15:38Speaker 1: means like a running back kind of thing. Right, So
- 15:41Speaker 1: then you go down the stats and try to think, Okay,
- 15:43Speaker 1: which players you're talking about? Five nine and a half
- 15:45Speaker 1: two ten, too tall to be Duce Fawn, too small
- 15:50Speaker 1: to be Ezekiel Elliott. And I don't think Ezekiel Elliott
- 15:53Speaker 1: has ever sniffed four to four in the forty. No,
- 15:57Speaker 1: So you start breaking these things down and you're like, okay,
- 16:00Speaker 1: which players you're talking about? So let's let let's break
- 16:01Speaker 1: it down. Let's see who we think here, five nine
- 16:03Speaker 1: and a half two hundred ten pounds, four four one
- 16:06Speaker 1: forty nine and three inch hands I don't know hand
- 16:09Speaker 1: sizes of NFL of of my Cowboys players. And then,
- 16:13Speaker 1: of course the crucial piece of information, the eight and
- 16:15Speaker 1: a half inch.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I can only in size really isn't that big? That's
- 16:20Speaker 3: to me, there's only three options, okay, corner, slot.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Running back.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Okay, that that makes sense. That makes perfect sense to me.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And the player that I was first thinking about taking
- 16:37Speaker 1: into taking into account all those parameters, all those physical
- 16:41Speaker 1: attributes was Cavante Turpin. Size wise. It kind of fits
- 16:48Speaker 1: because he's not a big dude. He's in that five
- 16:50Speaker 1: to nine you know range, and he's fast, you know,
- 16:54Speaker 1: m h. But he didn't run a four to four
- 16:57Speaker 1: to one in the forty. He ran a four to
- 17:00Speaker 1: three to one at the combine. Rotually, I'm not even
- 17:03Speaker 1: sure if he went through the combine because he came
- 17:06Speaker 1: out of the I think it was what UFL or
- 17:08Speaker 1: whatever it was, size wise, I think it fits speed wise,
- 17:13Speaker 1: Jerry's off by a tenth of his second, and that
- 17:15Speaker 1: seems like a big number to be off by. And
- 17:19Speaker 1: he plays slot and he's one of those guys that
- 17:21Speaker 1: will run those Jets sweeps a lot. So maybe it
- 17:23Speaker 1: is him. I don't know.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I mean, Jerry is in his early eighties. He you know,
- 17:28Speaker 2: a tenth of a second.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Maybe he meant to say four to three to one
- 17:31Speaker 1: but said four four one. Yeah, so maybe it's a
- 17:34Speaker 1: seven and a half inch not an eight and a
- 17:36Speaker 1: half or nine and a half. Oh, I don't think
- 17:39Speaker 1: he's gonna miss low on that one. Jerry Jones has
- 17:44Speaker 1: not been one to undersell anything that's true. Uh, I'm
- 17:50Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna google this on the fly,
- 17:52Speaker 1: Cavante Terpin. I'm gonna see if we can figure out
- 17:59Speaker 1: if maybe And I'm already I'm already knowing way more
- 18:02Speaker 1: about the players. I'm a favorite team than I really
- 18:06Speaker 1: need to, or I guess i'd say want to, but
- 18:09Speaker 1: here I am looking for it.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Uh.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Oh, all right, So Turpin is uh According to Wikipedia
- 18:17Speaker 1: five foot nine, His weight is listed at one fifty three.
- 18:20Speaker 1: That seems a little light undrafted out of TCU.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, that's a big difference between that
- 18:27Speaker 2: and two ten.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think he's I don't think he's still
- 18:32Speaker 1: that that thin, but I don't know. I don't know
- 18:34Speaker 1: what his current weight is. So yeah, I think I'm
- 18:37Speaker 1: gonna back away from it now. I think it's better.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I don't want to. I don't want to dig in
- 18:40Speaker 1: too deep to see if I can find out who
- 18:42Speaker 1: on the Cowboys has an eight and a half inch
- 18:44Speaker 1: that Jerry Jones is bragging to Jamie Foxx about.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I mean, what was it. I could he be talking
- 18:50Speaker 2: about someone on the practice squad.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Maybe we don't know. We don't know, and then maybe
- 18:54Speaker 1: it may be near impossible to find out who he's
- 18:56Speaker 1: talking about. I can say this while trying to maintain
- 18:58Speaker 1: as much professionalism as I possibly can, having covered the
- 19:01Speaker 1: Cowboys in two thousand and nine twenty ten for one
- 19:04Speaker 1: of five three the Fan. Hey, Kevin, when you go
- 19:08Speaker 1: on that locker room, sometimes sometimes things happen, and you know,
- 19:13Speaker 1: sometimes like when the media availability happened at that time.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm not sure what it's like now, but this was
- 19:17Speaker 1: at Valley Ranch when the media availability happened. That's when
- 19:21Speaker 1: you get to go into the locker room. It was
- 19:23Speaker 1: right after practice and right as players are coming out
- 19:25Speaker 1: of the showers, some of them more towels, most of
- 19:27Speaker 1: them more towels. But on occasion you just get some
- 19:29Speaker 1: guys they just don't care. It's like being at I
- 19:31Speaker 1: sort of like it a regular gym. Some guys just
- 19:33Speaker 1: don't care. And with the Cowboys locker room, the guys
- 19:36Speaker 1: that just don't care usually the guys you know that
- 19:38Speaker 1: got swinging. So I can say this comfortably. If that
- 19:44Speaker 1: particular player has an eight and a half inch, he's
- 19:47Speaker 1: not the only one. But it was interesting to note
- 19:50Speaker 1: that Jerry thought it was big enough to point it out.
- 19:57Speaker 1: No further comments from me, mister Trenholme.
- 20:00Speaker 4: You know, I I.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Hope the guy is a show or not a grower,
- 20:08Speaker 3: because if he's a grower, Jerry has way too much
- 20:11Speaker 3: information on the players.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Although you may have just unzipped the secret to the
- 20:16Speaker 1: Cowboys winning the Super Bowl, because it ain't because what
- 20:19Speaker 1: we've seen so far this season, it may not happen
- 20:22Speaker 1: on the field, but if it's a measuring contest, we
- 20:24Speaker 1: got a chance. All right. Let me explain real quickly.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Why it looks like I have this institutional background behind me.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I'm at an Airbnb in Las Colinas. So back in Dallas,
- 20:47Speaker 1: in town before we head back to the Islands. Now,
- 20:50Speaker 1: what is so important about me being in town right
- 20:53Speaker 1: now is the fact that on Friday at Shakerton's in Arlington,
- 20:58Speaker 1: I thirty in Collins. This Friday, five to seven pm,
- 21:02Speaker 1: it's a Treehouse Roadshow. Tree House road Show five to
- 21:04Speaker 1: seven pm at the Shakertens in Arlington, I thirty in Collins.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Looking forward to the event. It's going to be a
- 21:12Speaker 1: fun time. Got a couple of surprises in store. I
- 21:15Speaker 1: don't think any surprises are of the eight and a
- 21:16Speaker 1: half inch variety, but never say never, right, there's another
- 21:23Speaker 1: reason to come sorry to the road show on Friday,
- 21:27Speaker 1: besides just watching us do the show live. It's a
- 21:30Speaker 1: lot of fun. There's food, there's drinks. It's a great
- 21:32Speaker 1: time had by all. We also have merch available that
- 21:35Speaker 1: you can purchase. But there's another twist on this that
- 21:40Speaker 1: I want to throw at you, and that is this.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I had to go to the dentist on Friday before
- 21:45Speaker 1: the event because I went a couple of days ago
- 21:50Speaker 1: when We got into town because I needed a deep clean.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I was way overdue for the dentist two years since
- 21:56Speaker 1: my last visit. That meant I needed a deep clean.
- 21:59Speaker 1: In order to get a true deep clean at the dentist.
- 22:01Speaker 1: You know what they gotta do, Trey. They got to
- 22:04Speaker 1: stab you with the novacane. Even if they didn't have to,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I would make them because I do not do well
- 22:09Speaker 1: with oral and tooth pain. If this you know, I'm
- 22:11Speaker 1: sure there are many reasons I'm not a spy, but
- 22:13Speaker 1: one of the biggest ones would be is that the CIA,
- 22:16Speaker 1: if they had a file on me, Hopefully hopefully it
- 22:18Speaker 1: doesn't include size, but it would include for sure the
- 22:22Speaker 1: fact that I will give up people, friends, family, I
- 22:26Speaker 1: would give up the country. I would absolutely sell it
- 22:28Speaker 1: out under the threat of mouth torture. I can't do it,
- 22:31Speaker 1: can't hang with it, ain't gonna happen. You just show
- 22:34Speaker 1: me and you could show me a pencil until you're
- 22:36Speaker 1: gonna do something to my mouth with and be like,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I'll tell you whatever you want to know. You don't
- 22:38Speaker 1: even have to do it, I'll just tell you. So anyway,
- 22:44Speaker 1: I hate going to the dentist, so I got my
- 22:46Speaker 1: mouth numbed up a couple of days ago, and it's
- 22:48Speaker 1: just now coming back to normal.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So that means on Friday at the road show, you're
- 22:55Speaker 1: gonna see me probably with a with half my mouth numb,
- 23:01Speaker 1: so you get to see me talk and drool and
- 23:04Speaker 1: all sorts of nonsense all over the place. I'm sure
- 23:07Speaker 1: Shakers is really excited, and I now know. I bet Trey,
- 23:10Speaker 1: you're gonna be doing rock paper scissors, telling raj or
- 23:14Speaker 1: seeing who has to sit next to me.
- 23:17Speaker 2: What are you having done that?
- 23:18Speaker 1: You just a deep cling? Oh, I thought, okay, yeah, yeah.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So because I needed it done, they decided to split
- 23:26Speaker 1: it up. So instead of doing my entire mouth and
- 23:28Speaker 1: one visit a couple of days ago, they did this side.
- 23:31Speaker 1: They did my left side of my face. So for
- 23:35Speaker 1: the rest of the day, for like the next five
- 23:37Speaker 1: to six hours, I look like I've had a stroke
- 23:39Speaker 1: and sound like it. So on Friday, before the road show,
- 23:43Speaker 1: they're going to do the other half of my face
- 23:45Speaker 1: over here, right, And that means around five o'clock when
- 23:48Speaker 1: it's time for the road show to start, I'm gonna
- 23:51Speaker 1: be numb from this side, and that's gonna be real fun.
- 23:53Speaker 2: For everybody. Well, we'll come up with some new games.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Have like an bucket in front of me, and maybe
- 24:03Speaker 1: you can do like an over under to see how
- 24:05Speaker 1: many ounces I drool into the bucket throughout the show.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Yeah, like a drool gauge.
- 24:12Speaker 1: That sounds real fitting inside our show. Doesn't mean how
- 24:15Speaker 1: much drool will one of us produce in the span
- 24:18Speaker 1: of a two hour event. Can it be measured in
- 24:24Speaker 1: cups or is it just going to be ounces? So
- 24:28Speaker 1: that's that's something you can look forward to on Friday
- 24:30Speaker 1: at the road show Shakerton's Arlington five to seven pm.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Is drool faced Dan, When was the last time you
- 24:38Speaker 1: went to the dentist?
- 24:39Speaker 2: Tray, h you know I'm overdue.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Good.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I hope you need a good deep cleaning. You want
- 24:46Speaker 1: to get one with me on Friday? You want to
- 24:47Speaker 1: hold hands to do like the couple's room at the dentist. No, no,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I prefer that we don't do anything together anymore.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Uh.
- 25:02Speaker 3: I hate going to the dentist, and like my highest
- 25:06Speaker 3: blood pressure readings ever have been at the dentist, So.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I always have to tell them that I don't know
- 25:12Speaker 1: I don't even know why they take my blood pressure
- 25:14Speaker 1: before the dental, like before they do anything, because A
- 25:18Speaker 1: it's going to be through the roof because I'm at
- 25:20Speaker 1: the dentist, and B it doesn't change anything anyway, they
- 25:25Speaker 1: still do work on me. How high does the blood
- 25:28Speaker 1: pressure have to be for them to say, okay, now
- 25:31Speaker 1: we can't do anything today because I've had some high readings.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I I that's the last time I had to show them,
- 25:37Speaker 3: like on like the health app for my regular doctor. No,
- 25:40Speaker 3: you know, normally my bread blood pressure is like one
- 25:42Speaker 3: twenty over seventy.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It's it's perfect. This is a this is a product
- 25:48Speaker 2: of being in this room, in that chair.
- 25:50Speaker 5: This is you.
- 25:50Speaker 1: This is your fault, and I don't like you for it.
- 25:56Speaker 1: It really is, though, it's every single time. I think
- 25:58Speaker 1: the lowest blood pressure I've ever had at the dentist
- 26:01Speaker 1: was in the upper one forties, and I thought that
- 26:03Speaker 1: was pretty good for what was about to transpire.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Yeah, just this just the sound of a drill. Yeah
- 26:11Speaker 2: uh uh yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 1: So when I had it done a couple of days
- 26:16Speaker 1: ago and I've got stroke face, it was really weird.
- 26:19Speaker 1: So as as the nova Kane started to wear off,
- 26:22Speaker 1: I started to notice an isch like right here on
- 26:25Speaker 1: the front of my lip like wear like my facial
- 26:28Speaker 1: hair and my lip meat right so I could feel
- 26:32Speaker 1: just a bit of an itch. So I started rubbing it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: And I was actually at a clothing store picking up
- 26:37Speaker 1: a suit. I'm at this kind of a nice place
- 26:40Speaker 1: picking up a suit, and I rubbing my fight for
- 26:42Speaker 1: like this in front of the mirror, in front of everybody,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and the itch wouldn't go away. I was this close that,
- 26:51Speaker 1: turning to the sales guy helping me and say, hey, Jack,
- 26:53Speaker 1: can you help me? I want to see how much
- 26:58Speaker 1: money I've spent in the store. Well, really, I don't.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I don't know if you had a similar experience at
- 27:10Speaker 1: the dentist that I did. But the reason why I
- 27:12Speaker 1: have such a hesitation with going to the dentist is
- 27:14Speaker 1: because the very first time I went, when I was
- 27:16Speaker 1: like five, five years old, and I had a cavity
- 27:18Speaker 1: still to this day, the only cavity I've ever had,
- 27:21Speaker 1: when they were doing the cleaning thing and they had
- 27:23Speaker 1: the hook they hooked the roof of my mouth like
- 27:27Speaker 1: I was a bass. I was five, and I still
- 27:31Speaker 1: remember that, and I always put on like the paperwork
- 27:34Speaker 1: at the dentist it's like, oh, do you have any
- 27:37Speaker 1: concerns or anything you want to share with the dentists today, Yes,
- 27:41Speaker 1: do not stab me.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Now.
- 27:44Speaker 3: My anxiety and fear of the dentist comes from I
- 27:47Speaker 3: have an incredibly high tolerance for novacane, so most nis
- 27:54Speaker 3: actually have to use whatever the next level up from
- 27:57Speaker 3: novacane is to actually numb my mouth. And at one
- 27:59Speaker 3: point when dentist didn't listen to me and drilled into
- 28:02Speaker 3: a tooth that was not dead.
- 28:03Speaker 2: And that is why my.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Where my anxiety of the dentist comes from your anxiety. That,
- 28:13Speaker 1: by the way, is audio of the incident that you
- 28:15Speaker 1: just described with your dentist. I think this is also
- 28:17Speaker 1: the reason why you haven't been back to the dentist.
- 28:20Speaker 1: It's not because you're so afraid, it's because of it's
- 28:22Speaker 1: because of the restraining order the dentist has on you,
- 28:24Speaker 1: probably from you knocking him the out I was reaching
- 28:29Speaker 1: for him. That is something I've told any dental hygienist
- 28:36Speaker 1: or any dentist. I've told it like, look, I got
- 28:38Speaker 1: hooked when I was five years old. If you hooked me,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna hit you. And you know they tell you like,
- 28:44Speaker 1: oh yea if anything feels like it hurts or anything,
- 28:47Speaker 1: just raise your hand and let me know. It's like, oh, listen, lady,
- 28:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you know. You're gonna know that I'm
- 28:53Speaker 1: in pain because you too are going to be in
- 28:56Speaker 1: some damn pain. It's very much a give and take here.
- 29:00Speaker 1: We're both in this boat together. You make me bleed,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna make you bleed.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Now you're getting hooked at five years old. Was that
- 29:09Speaker 3: truly an accident or was that some kind of State
- 29:11Speaker 3: of Oklahoma experiment.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Oh that's a good question. Yeah, it might have been
- 29:15Speaker 1: Health and Human Services there. And I'm not sure I
- 29:19Speaker 1: was adopted at that point, so it wasn't like it
- 29:21Speaker 1: was like this. It wasn't like I was a limbo
- 29:24Speaker 1: baby and they were doing experiments on me or anything
- 29:27Speaker 1: I already had. I had, I had parents and everything
- 29:30Speaker 1: at that time. But I'm not gonna say it wasn't impossible,
- 29:35Speaker 1: because look, governments do some do some really dub things
- 29:39Speaker 1: to kids, especially like especially when you walk into the
- 29:45Speaker 1: dentist office in Oklahoma. The doctor's first words are you
- 29:50Speaker 1: sure do have a pretty mouth?

- 31:22Speaker 1: And now let's give you some news you never asked
- 31:25Speaker 1: for but you absolutely need. I'd like to thank you
- 31:32Speaker 1: Trey for sending me this one. I'm a big fan
- 31:35Speaker 1: of attribution in in case anyone wasn't to wear. There's
- 31:43Speaker 1: a major probe happening after a dead body was found
- 31:47Speaker 1: on the grounds of a hospital because they think those
- 31:50Speaker 1: remains may have been there for a month. I'm going
- 31:57Speaker 1: to go out on a limb here and say that
- 31:59Speaker 1: if you have a dead body in or around your
- 32:02Speaker 1: hospital for a month and you don't know about it,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you might be a poor, poor hospital. I'm trying to
- 32:11Speaker 1: where did this happen, Trey.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I believe it's Limerick, Ireland.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the Irish New This is from the
- 32:19Speaker 1: Irish Son. Oh, the Irish Sun University Hospital, Limerick. I
- 32:25Speaker 1: bet there's some good jokes. There's been a grim discovery.
- 32:31Speaker 1: There's a major probe after a body was found on
- 32:34Speaker 1: the grounds of University Hospital in Limerick, Ireland, because they
- 32:39Speaker 1: think the body could have been there for a month.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Officers sealed off a large area on the hospital's grounds
- 32:45Speaker 1: after the body was discovered late last Thursday night. There
- 32:50Speaker 1: are fears that the body may have lain there for
- 32:52Speaker 1: up to a month. Very sad. The body understood to
- 32:56Speaker 1: be a man aged in his forties, although depending on
- 32:58Speaker 1: how long he's been there, I don't how they would
- 33:00Speaker 1: know that, because I think after a month you become licked.
- 33:07Speaker 1: He was reportedly discovered by a member of the staff,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and it's understood the body was away from any of
- 33:12Speaker 1: the clinical areas of the hospital and was located close
- 33:16Speaker 1: to the helipad of the ground. Okay, I was thinking
- 33:19Speaker 1: it was like he was off in the smoking section.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Someone just he just killed or maybe that's still accurate.
- 33:25Speaker 1: A large car park and adjoining greenways at the hospital
- 33:28Speaker 1: were sealed off and police were alerted to the scene.
- 33:32Speaker 1: A source said that while the body had yet to
- 33:34Speaker 1: be formally identified, investigators were working on the understanding that
- 33:37Speaker 1: the remains were that of a man who had been
- 33:39Speaker 1: reported missing several weeks ago. The police confirmed on Friday
- 33:46Speaker 1: afternoon that the corner had been notified or the hospital did,
- 33:49Speaker 1: and a post mortem examination will determine the course of
- 33:52Speaker 1: the investigation. They're investigating all the circumstances following the discovery
- 33:56Speaker 1: of this body, and I guess now they're saying, no,
- 34:00Speaker 1: don't will be left unturned.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, now they're going to really look at it.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Well, now that we found you, we're working that could
- 34:07Speaker 1: make a real close look at this. And I don't know,
- 34:09Speaker 1: maybe just while you're there, maybe just do a general
- 34:12Speaker 1: sweep of the area in case there are any other
- 34:14Speaker 1: dead guys waiting to get into the hospital that didn't
- 34:16Speaker 1: quite make it. How effing bad does it smell around there?
- 34:22Speaker 1: No one went, hey, someone leave the garbage out. That's
- 34:28Speaker 1: a really good point because there have been times where
- 34:29Speaker 1: I've taken my dog for a walk and I smelled something.
- 34:32Speaker 1: You know that's like, okay, you know the smell when
- 34:34Speaker 1: you've smelled something dead and rotting. You know that smell.
- 34:37Speaker 1: The smell doesn't leave you when you smell it again,
- 34:39Speaker 1: you know it.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you.
- 34:44Speaker 1: There's a come on really yeah?
- 34:46Speaker 2: I mean they just keep the cadavers in a field.
- 34:49Speaker 4: What do we.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Do they keep the is?
- 34:53Speaker 4: Like?
- 34:53Speaker 1: Is there is there warm body storage next to the
- 34:56Speaker 1: grease trap for the cafe? You bring up a hell
- 35:02Speaker 1: of a point like how bad does your hospital ground smell?
- 35:05Speaker 1: When you can't smell a dead.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Person or lay off the Irish whiskey.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Well, I know, because that's the reason I chose that
- 35:16Speaker 1: hospital in the first place. If we're being honest here,
- 35:21Speaker 1: that's you know I want to when I go to
- 35:24Speaker 1: the emergency room. You can give me shots of many things,
- 35:27Speaker 1: but the first one I would like would be a
- 35:29Speaker 1: shot of whiskey upon entrance.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Shot a whiskey in a nifty poem.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Welcome to University hospital that it really is troubling. And
- 35:42Speaker 1: here's another thing, not an Ireland. But I heard a
- 35:46Speaker 1: similar story a couple of weeks ago I think was
- 35:49Speaker 1: this was in Great Britain at a hospital. A man's
- 35:55Speaker 1: body was discovered in the coffee shop of a hospital.
- 36:00Speaker 1: So there's layers to that one. No one noticed a
- 36:03Speaker 1: dead guy for at least hours, and where they didn't
- 36:07Speaker 1: notice the dead body was in a coffee shop, which
- 36:09Speaker 1: is supposed to be the place where everybody's awake. You
- 36:11Speaker 1: would think a dead body would stand out in a
- 36:13Speaker 1: coffee shop. You would really think a dead body would
- 36:16Speaker 1: stand out inside of a coffee shop inside of a
- 36:18Speaker 1: freaking hospital hours hours until someone decided to go over
- 36:24Speaker 1: there and poke that dude.
- 36:26Speaker 2: And as.
- 36:30Speaker 3: The service wasn't that great because either they weren't checking
- 36:34Speaker 3: on the guy or yeah, because mostly if you're taking
- 36:39Speaker 3: up their table for that long, they're gonna intually going
- 36:40Speaker 3: to say something, Hey, buddy, yeah, you know what.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Maybe they're maybe they were just really overwhelmed, and maybe
- 36:47Speaker 1: I hope I hope not. But maybe he was sitting
- 36:49Speaker 1: there holding his his number ticket and they just hadn't
- 36:52Speaker 1: called it yet, because I've I've heard I remember one
- 36:56Speaker 1: time going to the emergency room when I was a
- 36:57Speaker 1: kid and I was fortunate years old and had just
- 37:01Speaker 1: shattered my left humorous and because I wasn't visibly bleeding
- 37:07Speaker 1: or unconscious, they didn't see me immediately. I sat in
- 37:12Speaker 1: a wheelchair in the emergency room waiting room for almost
- 37:14Speaker 1: two hours before I got any attention on me whatsoever.
- 37:17Speaker 1: But some guy with a little droplet of blood on
- 37:19Speaker 1: his forehead got in before I did. So if you're
- 37:22Speaker 1: ever having a hard time getting past the gatekeepers at
- 37:25Speaker 1: the emergency room, to go ahead and cut yourself a
- 37:27Speaker 1: little bit or scream a lot, do both. Basically, just
- 37:33Speaker 1: mimic any of Trey's ex girlfriends and you will get
- 37:36Speaker 1: right in.

- 39:01Speaker 1: the big ones that we'd like to post on at
- 39:02Speaker 1: Treehouse onto Air and YouTube, YouTube dot com, slash at
- 39:07Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air at all works, so come play with us.
- 39:18Speaker 1: There's a bit of an uproar happening in Oklahoma. The
- 39:23Speaker 1: Tischamingo Public Schools canceled homecoming. You want to know why, Yes,
- 39:36Speaker 1: Tishamingo Oklahoma canceled the homecoming football game after students displayed
- 39:41Speaker 1: a racial slur in a viral image. I'm curious to
- 39:46Speaker 1: know more about this story because I have questions. So
- 39:51Speaker 1: let's begin. The Tishamingo Public School superintendent issued an apology
- 39:55Speaker 1: last Thursday and canceled Friday's homecoming activities and football after
- 40:01Speaker 1: a photo of six high school students displayed a racial
- 40:04Speaker 1: slur went viral on social media. How's that for punishment?
- 40:10Speaker 1: You display a racial slur in a photo that goes viral,
- 40:14Speaker 1: and what do they tell you? No dance? No homecoming
- 40:18Speaker 1: dance for you. This is like a really bastardized version
- 40:22Speaker 1: of Footloose. It's like, it's like like in the movie Footloose.
- 40:27Speaker 1: It's all the town has banned dancing because of a
- 40:30Speaker 1: bad thing that happened because kids were dancing. But what
- 40:33Speaker 1: if in this town, in Footloose, something else that happened
- 40:36Speaker 1: before the dancing incident, Like maybe the football players had
- 40:39Speaker 1: done something they shouldn't have as far as racism was concerned,
- 40:43Speaker 1: and that led to the to the dancing incident, and
- 40:45Speaker 1: that led to the banning of the dancing. I'm just
- 40:48Speaker 1: saying what if, But it is interesting punishment you're racist,
- 40:52Speaker 1: No more school dances that'll show them in case you're curio.
- 41:00Speaker 1: The image depicts six Tishamingo High School boys wearing scrabble
- 41:05Speaker 1: tiles spelling out a racial slur, an action that the
- 41:08Speaker 1: school district superintendent called an extremely poor decision. Well said
- 41:16Speaker 1: Brandon Moreland. Well said, that's yeah, Superintendent Brandon Moreland really
- 41:20Speaker 1: giving them the business. They're extremely poor decision. He went
- 41:24Speaker 1: on to say racism and discrimination in any form will
- 41:26Speaker 1: never be tolerated or accepted on our campus and it
- 41:28Speaker 1: is not reflective of the values of our students, school
- 41:30Speaker 1: or community. Our student body and staff include community members
- 41:34Speaker 1: from all backgrounds, races, and religions, which is one of
- 41:37Speaker 1: many aspects that makes our campus exceptional. A separate notice
- 41:41Speaker 1: was posted at four thirty Thursday to announce that Tishamingo
- 41:44Speaker 1: homecoming activities schedule for Friday, including the parade and the
- 41:47Speaker 1: football game, were canceled due to safety and security concerns.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And this was an something that the school did.
- 41:59Speaker 3: They had some contest where they were handing out scrabble letters.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Now I know I'm older now, but I know you
- 42:08Speaker 3: know if you give teenage boys a chance to spell things.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Yeah, but.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Maybe give them a different set of letters, like where
- 42:25Speaker 1: they handed these letters and did the people handing out
- 42:28Speaker 1: the scrabble tiles see what the letters were and did
- 42:31Speaker 1: it intentionally and someone just snapped a photo, therefore framing
- 42:34Speaker 1: the players. Or was this like you get the scrabble
- 42:38Speaker 1: tiles when you play the game, you just select, you know,
- 42:43Speaker 1: or you just selected cut off the letters. You just
- 42:45Speaker 1: select your own tiles, and then what you get is
- 42:48Speaker 1: what you get, and you have to arrange a word.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Well, I mean.
- 42:52Speaker 1: In this case, that's six letters and you get seven, right,
- 42:56Speaker 1: So I don't know if the other one wasn't s
- 42:58Speaker 1: or what, but mh, look there, maybe you maybe maybe
- 43:04Speaker 1: you should have spelled grins.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Yeah, they.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Regardless, it's yeah, it's Oklahoma. You you you possibly could
- 43:17Speaker 3: have seen this one coming. And really, I mean, are
- 43:22Speaker 3: you expecting a triple word from from from Oklahoma?
- 43:30Speaker 1: Oh that if you got a couple of gee's in there,
- 43:32Speaker 1: that can really up the score. I mean, it's not
- 43:36Speaker 1: a Q, I don't think, but yeah it's it's not
- 43:42Speaker 1: like it was a homophobic slur, because then that really
- 43:45Speaker 1: ups the score. I don't know what the word was
- 43:51Speaker 1: I just want that said. I don't know what the
- 43:52Speaker 1: word was. I didn't readown because I wanted some plausible
- 43:56Speaker 1: deniability when it came to this topic. It is my
- 44:00Speaker 1: assumption correct though, Trey.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Yes Indians.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Oh, actually, that's a bit of a twist there. I'd
- 44:14Speaker 1: like to go home now. Maybe we should save the
- 44:23Speaker 1: rest of this story from when Raj comes back from leaves.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Thanks for hanging out with us inside the tree house today.
- 44:30Speaker 1: We sure have enjoyed it. Now we're gonna run and
- 44:31Speaker 1: hide for a little bit until tomorrow. At least, be
- 44:34Speaker 1: sure to do us a huge favor. We would really
- 44:36Speaker 1: appreciate this. Share the show with a friend, but a
- 44:40Speaker 1: little message into your can and the streams going into
- 44:44Speaker 1: your friend's house or their treehouse with their can tell
- 44:48Speaker 1: them about the tree House.
- 44:49Speaker 5: We appreciate it.
- 44:50Speaker 1: See you next time.
