- 0:00Speaker 1: Kyle Unfug, what do we need to know today?
- 0:02Speaker 2: Just when you think this Cornell case couldn't get any
- 0:05Speaker 2: more complicated, now one of the students accused of sexual
- 0:08Speaker 2: assault wants a judge to put a gag order in place.
- 0:11Speaker 2: So basically, he's asking the court to limit what people
- 0:14Speaker 2: involved in the lawsuit can say publicly after the case
- 0:17Speaker 2: has already sparked protests, massive national conversation. And then this morning,
- 0:22Speaker 2: TMZ actually reported new witnesses are coming forward now challenging
- 0:25Speaker 2: parts of the account of what happened to the victim
- 0:29Speaker 2: at that fraternity gathering. This is so scary, especially if
- 0:32Speaker 2: you love roller coasters.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I love roller coasters.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yesterday, a 42-year-old man died after falling from the Goliath
- 0:38Speaker 2: roller coaster at Six Flags over Georgia. Witnesses say he
- 0:42Speaker 2: hit parts of the ride on his way down and
- 0:44Speaker 2: other passengers. And the whole thing was caught on those
- 0:48Speaker 2: souvenir photos they take while the ride is going on.
- 0:50Speaker 2: The picture is like, you can see him in the
- 0:53Speaker 2: back falling. What happened?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Was it the thing that locked in?
- 0:55Speaker 2: They don't know what happened. And so they've literally shut
- 0:58Speaker 2: down nine similar coasters at all of their locations because
- 1:01Speaker 2: of this.
- 1:02Speaker 1: So it's called, the ride is called Goliath. And it's
- 1:04Speaker 1: one of those that only has like the lap bar
- 1:06Speaker 1: that like. Tucks you and they don't have the restraints
- 1:09Speaker 1: that go over your chest. You just hold it and
- 1:10Speaker 1: you have the thing that's.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Locked and pulled.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I mean, that's the nightmare about being on a roller coaster.
- 1:15Speaker 1: You're threatening that you're going to fall, but you know,
- 1:17Speaker 1: you're not because the roller coaster is safe. You saw
- 1:19Speaker 1: the witnesses saying they thought it was part of a
- 1:21Speaker 1: Halloween thing at first until they heard, you know, they,
- 1:24Speaker 1: until it went on a little longer, like, oh, that's
- 1:26Speaker 1: not part of a. Halloween thing. Yes. So wild.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So sad. So, so sad. Apple, you guys just introduced
- 1:33Speaker 2: something called Home View. It's basically like having a little
- 1:37Speaker 2: iPad that runs your entire house. So this Home View
- 1:41Speaker 2: can recognize your face, control your doorbell, lights, your thermostat,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and use a smarter version of Siri to help you
- 1:48Speaker 2: manage everything. It starts at $ 299 and will supposedly be
- 1:51Speaker 2: available later next month. This is wild because, I mean...
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's like one of those where you go, what were
- 1:59Speaker 2: they thinking? Somebody apparently thought they could sneak drugs through
- 2:03Speaker 2: Sky Harbor by hiding them inside an Apple computer. TSA officers,
- 2:06Speaker 2: shout out to the TSA officers that noticed something a
- 2:09Speaker 2: little weird in the wiring of the Mac mini during
- 2:11Speaker 2: an x-ray. When they checked it out, they found hidden
- 2:14Speaker 2: in the compartment was fentanyl, meth, and ketamine.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Oh my God. Yeah. Insane.
- 2:19Speaker 2: The passenger was obviously arrested and the officer who spotted
- 2:22Speaker 2: it said the hiding place was so bizarre he initially
- 2:25Speaker 2: thought it was like a training exercise.
- 2:26Speaker 1: In their computer? Because the laptop's so thin. Yeah. That's
- 2:30Speaker 1: why they do the x-ray. It's like a box. Yeah. Oh.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So there you go. Don't try to do that.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think the TSA people are amazing. I would love
- 2:37Speaker 1: to do that for a day and just look at
- 2:38Speaker 1: the monitor, what people bring through.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And just see.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, let's search this one. Wink, wink.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Okay. There is a new ramen restaurant on Baseline Road.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's called Strings Ramen, and they will actually reward you.
- 2:51Speaker 2: They want to pay you for eating their food.
- 2:54Speaker 1: There is a catch, though.
- 2:55Speaker 2: If you finish their level five monster hell ramen in
- 2:59Speaker 2: 20 minutes, you'll get a $ 50 gift card and a t-shirt.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Everyone loves t-shirts, right? And considering they have five different
- 3:06Speaker 2: levels of spicy, I feel like that 50 bucks might
- 3:08Speaker 2: not be enough to convince me.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Level five sounds ridiculous. What kind of food is it?
- 3:12Speaker 1: It's ramen. But is it the Thai spices?
- 3:14Speaker 2: The ramen noodles. I don't know exactly what type of
- 3:18Speaker 2: spice the hell ramen is.
- 3:19Speaker 1: When I get Thai food, you can pick your level.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I can go to a one or one and a
- 3:22Speaker 1: half or two. But you go further than that and
- 3:24Speaker 1: your face is done.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. If you can, though. I mean, it's 50 bucks.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Why don't they bring it in here? You guys do
- 3:31Speaker 1: a try Tuesday night.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Do you want me to die?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Shouldn't have done the story then.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Have an ambulance ready, John Jay.
- 3:39Speaker 1: What's the name of the place?
- 3:40Speaker 2: It is called Strings Ramen.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Let's go. Strings, bring it in.
- 3:45Speaker 2: That's what you need to know.
