- 2:33Speaker 1: I'm very much looking forward to where we're going to
- 2:35Speaker 1: grow in the fall to close out 2026. 2026 has
- 2:39Speaker 1: been a hell of a year already. Just wished happy
- 2:42Speaker 1: birthday to Jalen Brunson on Monday. By the way, happy birthday,
- 2:45Speaker 1: Mikael Bridges. One day before Jalen Brunson on the 30th
- 2:50Speaker 1: of August. And happy birthday to Eric Adams. Yeah, man.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Happy birthday to the former mayor of New York City.
- 2:59Speaker 1: You know, TMZ saw him at his birthday party and
- 3:02Speaker 1: they saw him. It wasn't like a walk of shame,
- 3:06Speaker 1: but I found it interesting that the former mayor of
- 3:08Speaker 1: New York City was just riding home on a city bike.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I just feel like you can do better than a
- 3:16Speaker 1: city bike on your way home. You're talking about Eric Adams, right?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Eric Adams, yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I could have sworn. I've seen something that disturbed me
- 3:23Speaker 3: not too long ago. Like him with vegetables or something cooking. Really?
- 3:29Speaker 6: With Eric Adams?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I swear there was something with him cooking.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Why did Eric Adams cooking disturb you? I was like,
- 3:37Speaker 1: hold on. Yeah, while you find that, there was also
- 3:39Speaker 1: a photo of him riding the LIRR. I'm like, I
- 3:42Speaker 1: respect that. If he wants to be a man of
- 3:43Speaker 1: the people, like, you're not mayor no more, so I
- 3:45Speaker 1: guess it's all good. Imagine Zoran Mamdani just chilling. You
- 3:49Speaker 1: see Zoran on the LIRR. Like, dog, what? But yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 1: happy birthday, Eric Adams. September 1st that he was born. Yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 1: some time ago.
- 3:58Speaker 7: I think I know what Corey's talking about.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So, yeah, I'm not tripping. I'm not tripping.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Okay, so what is this exactly?
- 4:06Speaker 7: It's a picture of Eric Adams showing off his, you know,
- 4:11Speaker 7: torso and stuff like that six pack or whatever and
- 4:14Speaker 7: he's holding he's holding i guess like a zucchini and
- 4:18Speaker 7: a bell pepper red bell pepper and.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Showing off his nice.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Smile horny jail right right now right.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Now i can't tell if it's ai or not if
- 4:29Speaker 7: it's like photoshop because like his head looks like It
- 4:32Speaker 7: was just plastered there, and that's somebody else's body, but
- 4:34Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's how it looks with older fit people, though.
- 4:38Speaker 6: That is true.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Like, they'll have the old wrinkly face, and then their
- 4:40Speaker 1: body is like Hercules.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Damn, kid. You talking about when Reverend Al Sharpton did
- 4:45Speaker 3: that one pitch in that mirror? He was like, oh,
- 4:49Speaker 3: he a bat.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, he had his bad bitch look on Al Sharpton, man.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I was debating.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Can I say that word?
- 4:59Speaker 1: Well, I said it for you.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'll be forgetting what can I say. I'm always like,
- 5:03Speaker 1: it's okay. I'm always let y'all know.
- 5:05Speaker 6: You can't say sugar, honey, iced tea.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yeah. I found that you can't even spell out curse words.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm like, this is woke nonsense. It gets to a point.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I can't spell out a curse word or the FCC
- 5:20Speaker 1: is going to get me. No.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Oh, no. Really? I don't know why. You know how
- 5:24Speaker 3: when they say sugar, honey, iced tea, I don't know.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I feel like I substitute that for a whole different word,
- 5:28Speaker 3: but like a whole different thing.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But, yeah. I had some sugar honey iced tea the
- 5:32Speaker 1: other day. No, I feel like it's something. I don't
- 5:35Speaker 1: know why.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I think when I say it, instead of saying that,
- 5:37Speaker 3: I say something like rice crispy treats or something like that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:40Speaker 3: It don't make no sense. It doesn't make no sense.
- 5:43Speaker 3: When I'm about to curse, it's like sometimes I'll say
- 5:47Speaker 3: a different word instead of curse.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You must have got that from your family and whacked
- 5:51Speaker 1: out San Antonio. I don't know where else you got
- 5:55Speaker 1: it from. Shout out to San Antonio.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Yeah, man.
- 5:58Speaker 6: I guess.
- 5:59Speaker 3: They got good food spots out there.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I'm sure they do. I'm sure they do. It's Texas. Right.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:05Speaker 6: You're supposed to be a big bag in Texas.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yo, they were like. It's to another degree out there.
- 6:11Speaker 3: It's like literally every corner is like Papa John's. Five
- 6:15Speaker 3: minute walk from me. McDonald's.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Oh no, the temptation. Oh no.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Papa John's and McDonald's is crazy though.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Papa John's, Sonic. Papa John's, Sonic. Tex-Mex. All these spots.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie. The last time I was
- 6:31Speaker 1: in Texas. I have to dedicate a whole podcast to
- 6:34Speaker 1: the last time I was in Texas, by the way.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Do you live by that song? By George Strait? Do
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know what song I'm talking about? All My Exes
- 6:43Speaker 1: Live in Texas. Not All My Exes Live in Texas.
- 6:46Speaker 3: But you got something done.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I have a story to tell about that. No biggie.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Gather around. I got a story to tell. But yeah, no,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I tried Whataburger down there.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Yes.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I was rocking with it. I did not rock with it.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You don't like Whataburger? You must have had that stepped
- 7:07Speaker 1: on Whataburger. I had that like in 2018. Chef's kiss, though. No,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I just didn't like the fact. I was like, I
- 7:13Speaker 1: ordered just a regular, you know, burger, right? Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Why did they take it upon themselves to put mustard
- 7:19Speaker 3: in my burger? I don't like mustard in my burger.
- 7:22Speaker 7: I'm sorry, but I think that's a you problem. You
- 7:25Speaker 7: should have looked at the menu and say like, oh, snap,
- 7:27Speaker 7: they got mustard on it.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Let me take that off. Okay, regular mustard, I'm against.
- 7:33Speaker 1: But if they put some, you know, spicy Dijon mustard
- 7:35Speaker 1: on that, I'm not going to be opposed.
- 7:37Speaker 3: The only mustard I rock with is honey mustard. If
- 7:39Speaker 3: it ain't honey mustard, don't put that on my burger.
- 7:42Speaker 6: No, Whataburger's spicy ketchup is sent from heaven, though.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Nah.
- 7:46Speaker 7: I'm getting that by the end of September, actually, from
- 7:49Speaker 7: my cousin.
- 7:50Speaker 1: It's in and out of five guys. I'm sorry.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Paul, is that the way I should say it?
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yo.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Yo. The combination, I just realized this thing. First of all.
- 8:02Speaker 3: The combination is wild. I just realized that.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I mess around, live in Texas. I'm going to be
- 8:07Speaker 1: a big back king looking for my big back queen.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You feel me?
- 8:10Speaker 3: Big back, big back.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Five guys is so expensive, though.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Is it?
- 8:14Speaker 3: To you? No, really?
- 8:15Speaker 1: That's why they're going bankrupt.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Listen.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You know why they're going bankrupt?
- 8:20Speaker 3: It's because they keep handing out bags of fries that
- 8:22Speaker 3: nobody wants. Just give me a good portion of fries.
- 8:25Speaker 3: You don't gotta give me.
- 8:25Speaker 1: A whole bag.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And then they'd be soggy.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It got me looking like a bum. Dragging around a
- 8:32Speaker 1: bag of soggy fries.
- 8:33Speaker 6: Spare change. Spare change.
- 8:37Speaker 4: No, no.
- 8:38Speaker 1: That's messed up. But, yeah, nah. Oh, man. Let's get
- 8:44Speaker 1: to our hoopla-filled news report.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Hoopla!
- 8:47Speaker 1: And like I said, the theme of the show is scamming.
- 8:50Speaker 3: And.
- 8:51Speaker 1: If you really think about it, the main news topic
- 8:54Speaker 1: we cover, this overarching, it's all scammery. I don't even
- 8:59Speaker 1: know if that's a word. I'm making it a word. Scammery.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It's nasty out here. So without further ado, your TRB
- 9:07Speaker 1: News Report for tonight.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Sounds like a lot of hoopla. Sounds like a lot
- 9:15Speaker 3: of hoopla. Sounds like a hoopla.
- 9:24Speaker 4: This is the Recess Bell's News Report, brought to you
- 9:27Speaker 4: by the Recess Bell LLC, the network for creatives. The
- 9:31Speaker 4: voices you are about to hear are not those of
- 9:32Speaker 4: official political analysts, rather just football sitting in a room
- 9:34Speaker 4: discussing politics just like you would at the family table
- 9:35Speaker 4: or with your friends. Please do not hold the voices
- 9:37Speaker 4: you are about to hear to the same standard as
- 9:38Speaker 4: we would official commentators and contributors on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News,
- 9:40Speaker 4: or any other licensed news company.
- 9:47Speaker 1: The Recess Bell News Report. You missed that disclaimer. Yo,
- 9:50Speaker 1: save all your hooting and hollering, bitching, moaning, and complaining
- 9:54Speaker 1: for WHPC at NCC.edu. I swear to God, if you
- 9:57Speaker 1: contact the Recess Bell with any of your complaints, we're
- 10:02Speaker 1: going to ignore you. Get your anxious attachment acting up.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Don't even try it. Just three goofballs in a room
- 10:11Speaker 1: discussing the scamming ass business in the world right now.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So let's get right to it. Y'all know where we're
- 10:34Speaker 1: starting tonight. Let's turn to Oregon, where we have a
- 10:39Speaker 1: report on the 49er fake scammer, fake 49er scammer, I
- 10:45Speaker 1: should say, Dajon Love and his 18-year-old Asian accomplice. Why
- 10:51Speaker 1: is it important that he's Asian?
- 10:52Speaker 3: I don't know Oh please Hey hey hey.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Hey hey hey I just report the news.
- 10:59Speaker 5: A man who's accused of posing as an NFL player
- 11:02Speaker 5: and working with another man to defraud more than two
- 11:05Speaker 5: dozen women appeared in court today. Investigators say the scheme
- 11:08Speaker 5: started back in 2022. Fox 12's Michaela Armstrong has the details.
- 11:12Speaker 8: The FBI says the suspect's playbook was simple. He pretended
- 11:16Speaker 8: that he was a financially savvy player for the San
- 11:19Speaker 8: Francisco 49ers, preying on women by making them believe that
- 11:21Speaker 8: they were in a sincere relationship before taking their money.
- 11:26Speaker 8: The FBI believes from at least February 2022 until at
- 11:30Speaker 8: least March 2026, 35-year-old Dajon Love and 18-year-old Taylor Chan
- 11:35Speaker 8: devised fictitious investment schemes to defraud numerous women. Investigators say
- 11:40Speaker 8: there are at least 26 individuals spanning from Oregon, Washington, Idaho,
- 11:44Speaker 8: and California who were victimized by the pair. In order
- 11:48Speaker 8: to pull off the scam, court documents say Love posed
- 11:51Speaker 8: as a player from the San Francisco 49ers. and Chan
- 11:54Speaker 8: falsely claimed to be Love's financial advisor.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Each of the victims sent.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Either Love or Chan money via Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash App,
- 12:02Speaker 8: and Venmo, believing their money was being invested on their behalf.
- 12:06Speaker 8: And from January 2021 to June 2025, financial records say
- 12:11Speaker 8: Love received $ 1.
- 12:11Speaker 6: 3 million.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Prosecutors say once the victims had no more money to invest,
- 12:17Speaker 8: or if they asked too many questions, Love blocked them
- 12:20Speaker 8: but kept their money. Love and Chan were arrested on
- 12:23Speaker 8: Monday in Boise, Idaho, and face charges of conspiracy to
- 12:27Speaker 8: commit wire fraud and wire fraud. The FBI says it
- 12:31Speaker 8: believes there are many more victims and are asking anyone
- 12:34Speaker 8: with information on Love or Chan to contact the FBI.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Yo. I have a question.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Yo, come on.
- 12:45Speaker 1: What's up?
- 12:46Speaker 3: So is the kid Chan, is he 18 now?
- 12:49Speaker 1: He's 18 now, which means they said the scheme started
- 12:52Speaker 1: in 2022. That's crazy.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Y'all was getting scammed by a 14-year-old. At this point,
- 13:00Speaker 3: I don't want to victim blame, but I'm like, you
- 13:04Speaker 3: was getting scammed.
- 13:04Speaker 1: By a 14-year-old? I'll go the other aspect of it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: It's the same thing as just you see some young
- 13:11Speaker 1: kids on the corner.
- 13:13Speaker 3: It's like, damn, you didn't even give life a chance.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You turn to a life of crime that early? Before puberty? Damn!
- 13:20Speaker 3: That's why my niece is not one of them tablet kids.
- 13:24Speaker 1: They learn how to scam early. When does puberty start,
- 13:27Speaker 1: by the way? I forget. What is it, 12?
- 13:29Speaker 6: Like 12.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So a little after puberty. Taylor Jamie Chan. But yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I know that first scam is when you give
- 13:37Speaker 3: the niece or nephew or your kids a tablet and
- 13:40Speaker 3: they start buying them little Roblox or little Robux.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Without your permission. Yeah, that's the first scam. Oh, listen.
- 13:46Speaker 7: They start doing that at the age of five, though.
- 13:50Speaker 7: without them knowing they don't know they was like oh
- 13:52Speaker 7: snap I need some more money so they just click
- 13:54Speaker 7: but they know what they were doing low key yeah.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Yo I mean you said it best Corey to be
- 13:59Speaker 1: scammed by a fake 49ers player and a 14, 15, 16, 17,
- 14:05Speaker 1: 18 year old kid is.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Wild I was probably none of them asked hey yo
- 14:09Speaker 3: why you was with that 49ers headband take the headband
- 14:15Speaker 3: off you probably would have been like A hairline like that?
- 14:18Speaker 3: I don't believe it. I don't believe it. Don't believe it.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Surely your NFL playing ass can go to Turkey for
- 14:25Speaker 1: a transplant.
- 14:26Speaker 6: No, he really looks like Oscar Proud.
- 14:31Speaker 1: He got that dome long and wide edition, dog.
- 14:34Speaker 6: I would say, damn.
- 14:36Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 14:37Speaker 3: The ears too, like.
- 14:42Speaker 1: He really do look like Oscar Proud, man.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I'm mad that you don't. Oh, man, that didn't really
- 14:48Speaker 3: make that correlation.
- 14:51Speaker 6: I had to think about it. I was like, yo,
- 14:52Speaker 6: he looks like somebody I know for real.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Oh, Proud Family.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Proud Family.
- 15:00Speaker 1: No, that's crazy. Yeah, I just want to, again, the scamming.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And by the way, shout out to the Proud Family.
- 15:09Speaker 1: but we'll fade this out. How'd you have that queued up?
- 15:11Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Yo.
- 15:13Speaker 1: But yeah, nah, listen, 26 women, and I looked at them, yo, yo,
- 15:18Speaker 1: some real, the real, real baddies know some scamming behavior
- 15:22Speaker 1: when they see it. They probably, they probably laughed this
- 15:24Speaker 1: dude off. For sure. But the, the, the, the, the
- 15:29Speaker 1: questionable looking ones, I'll say. The fives, the fours. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: the seven beers type of girls. You know what I mean? Like,
- 15:37Speaker 1: they was like, oh my God, On my days, an
- 15:40Speaker 1: NFL player in my DMs, they're over there in the
- 15:42Speaker 1: group chats telling everybody. And then the people in the
- 15:46Speaker 1: group chats are probably like, I ain't got the heart
- 15:48Speaker 1: to tell her.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Yep.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I'm like, you could easily Google who to honor.
- 15:51Speaker 1: No, no.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Seriously.
- 15:53Speaker 3: He had AI.
- 15:54Speaker 1: The AI overview was saying Dajon Love is a NFL
- 15:58Speaker 1: wide receiver. He had AI fooled, which again is another.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's an indictment on AI, too. If you really think
- 16:04Speaker 1: about it. they was typing in chat gpt dajon love
- 16:08Speaker 1: they was giving them the backstory damn that's crazy work
- 16:12Speaker 1: that's disgusting.
- 16:12Speaker 3: He was using that too right he's like see i'm
- 16:14Speaker 3: not saying it google's saying it you know it must
- 16:16Speaker 3: be true google's saying it.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Right exactly these dummies are like oh if ai saying
- 16:21Speaker 1: it must be true let that be a lesson 1.3
- 16:24Speaker 1: million dollars later it's not the case i have a
- 16:27Speaker 1: question how many of how many of was this how
- 16:31Speaker 1: many of them were Like, me and you are in LA.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And how many of them was, like, you know, of
- 16:36Speaker 1: different ethnicities? Um... Well... You're gonna make me say it?
- 16:42Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 16:43Speaker 1: No, I'm just asking the truth. The majority of them were, um...
- 16:46Speaker 1: Not melanated. Of course.
- 16:48Speaker 3: You made me say it. I feel like Michael B. Jordan,
- 16:52Speaker 3: when he was at their best.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Yeah, just... Yeah. That's how.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I can see now how he got him. I can
- 17:03Speaker 3: see how he got him. I knew what.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Type of demographic he was hunting. A wise woman once said,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I want to be down. They wanted to be down.
- 17:13Speaker 6: With only you, my baby.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I guess in his case, if it wasn't snowing, he
- 17:18Speaker 1: wasn't going. I mean, sure, they had the bread, so
- 17:23Speaker 1: he had to go ahead. Listen, moving on.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I think that's really how he got away with it
- 17:29Speaker 3: because he got away with it for four years. I
- 17:32Speaker 3: know no sisters out there that's like giving up that
- 17:35Speaker 3: much money. They got to see a return in the investment.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 1: By the way, I believe lasting on this because I
- 17:40Speaker 1: know TRB will be referring back to this story in
- 17:43Speaker 1: the future many times. I have a feeling. But I
- 17:46Speaker 1: will say the word invest might as well be a
- 17:49Speaker 1: slur to me now. If you say the word invest,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm not trusting a damn thing you say no more.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Talk about some invest. I don't got to invest nothing. Actually.
- 17:57Speaker 1: You know what I need this NFL season? What's up?
- 18:01Speaker 1: I need somebody from the 49ers.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Specifically... or somebody right yeah when they score a touchdown
- 18:06Speaker 3: somebody's setting up like some fake cones and he doing that.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Horrible route yo I guarantee you week one I need
- 18:14Speaker 1: it week one somebody's gonna pull that celebration out I'm.
- 18:17Speaker 3: About to post that I'm about to post that on
- 18:18Speaker 3: Twitter that I need it and I'm gonna send it
- 18:20Speaker 3: to a bunch of players on there I'm gonna see
- 18:23Speaker 3: somebody gonna do this somebody gonna do this celebration I'm
- 18:26Speaker 3: gonna speak it into.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Existence yeah man be uh Oscar proud oh I'm sorry
- 18:30Speaker 1: Dajon Love fight the case my brother Keith D. Davis
- 18:35Speaker 1: speaking to fight in the case. He has lost the case.
- 18:37Speaker 1: He's found guilty on Monday of first degree murder in
- 18:40Speaker 1: the nearly three decade old killing of Tupac. In closing arguments,
- 18:46Speaker 1: the prosecution said Keith D. was a quote unquote shot
- 18:49Speaker 1: caller for the Southside Compton Crips, alleging that he quote
- 18:55Speaker 1: unquote went hunting for Tupac. The defense had the funniest
- 19:00Speaker 1: excuse for Keith D. 's behavior. They said regarding his
- 19:04Speaker 1: self snitching on the DJ Vlad podcast.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Well, he lies a lot.
- 19:11Speaker 1: So you can't really believe him when he's talking about
- 19:13Speaker 1: killing Tupac.
- 19:14Speaker 3: The jury was like.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Shut up. Convicted his ass hella quick. They deliberated for
- 19:21Speaker 1: a couple hours. Done.
- 19:23Speaker 3: That's not like an excuse that I would use when
- 19:25Speaker 3: I'm defending my friend. Oh, for sure. Yo, he be
- 19:28Speaker 3: lying a lot. He not really be like this. I'm sorry.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's like what they say politically, flooding the swamp. It's
- 19:34Speaker 1: like flooding the swamp with lies. If you lie so much,
- 19:37Speaker 1: nobody believes that the truth is coming out your mouth.
- 19:40Speaker 1: It's not the worst defense I've ever heard. We'll get to...
- 19:43Speaker 1: The actual worst offense as far as David goes. I
- 19:46Speaker 1: ain't going to hold you. You know what's about to happen.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You know what's about to happen. I think this is
- 19:50Speaker 1: all a play to line up.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Diddy.
- 19:57Speaker 1: He was definitely involved. Allegedly.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Allegedly.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Allegedly. Allegedly.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Allegedly.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Allegedly.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I've never seen nobody self-sabotage himself that much. Like, what's
- 20:05Speaker 3: his blood? I'm going to admit a crime openly and out.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Like the cop said, yeah, you're free. You know, you
- 20:12Speaker 3: talk about this. And then when he talks about it, like, hey,
- 20:15Speaker 3: we mentioned all that. You just you just volunteer stuff
- 20:18Speaker 3: that we told you you're not protected under.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Corey, that's why I've said all summer. I feel like
- 20:22Speaker 1: clout chasing should be up there with depression, anxiety and
- 20:25Speaker 1: all that in the medical journals, because I think it's
- 20:27Speaker 1: a disease because because Keith, the young dumbass is now
- 20:32Speaker 1: going to serve. Time in jail because you couldn't shut
- 20:36Speaker 1: up on a podcast.
- 20:37Speaker 3: His nephew, Orlando Anderson, probably going to ask like, why
- 20:43Speaker 3: are you saying all of this? Why?
- 20:46Speaker 1: You can't keep your mouth shut. Yeah, they found him guilty,
- 20:49Speaker 1: but I highly, highly doubt that's where this saga ends
- 20:52Speaker 1: with the death of Tupac. And you know, it's a fun,
- 20:54Speaker 1: interesting fact, if I remember correctly.
- 20:57Speaker 8: Yep.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Suge Knight and Keefie D played on like Little League
- 21:00Speaker 3: football together. They're from the same neighborhood. They're close by.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Same neighborhood. So they play football together. Keefy, Keefy, Keefy. Oh, man.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Moving on to D4VD. Speaking of another stupid criminals. Olivia Benton,
- 21:17Speaker 1: where are you at? Get him.
- 21:20Speaker 3: No, he don't need Benson. He needs Stabler. He do
- 21:25Speaker 3: need Stabler. She was 14, you're sick. Now, I'm against
- 21:30Speaker 3: police brutality. Always going to be. He need to be
- 21:34Speaker 3: in the interrogation room when Stabler be flipping out and
- 21:38Speaker 3: he him up people. Let me turn off the camera
- 21:42Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Dave is like 5'3, 122. Him and Ice-T will be
- 21:46Speaker 1: playing ping pong in the interrogation room with him. Goddamn, kid.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Officer Tutuola. Yeah, we know him.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Friend of the show. I got news for you.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I want to do a podcast one day of just
- 21:59Speaker 3: like how bad the SVU department is.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Oh, I feel like that's going to happen. I don't
- 22:05Speaker 1: know why.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I always say they're the worst. They're the worst, uh,
- 22:10Speaker 3: TV police organization of all time.
- 22:12Speaker 1: They were the police station that, you know the phrase,
- 22:16Speaker 1: snatched victory from the jaws of defeat? They snatched defeat
- 22:20Speaker 1: from the jaws of victory so many times.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Just because they couldn't control themselves. I swear, every last
- 22:26Speaker 3: one of them are flawed. Every last one of them.
- 22:31Speaker 3: The worst episodes I always hated was being like, oh man,
- 22:34Speaker 3: we found this person, right? And he's been locked up
- 22:36Speaker 3: for like 10, 15 years. Oh no, Olivia got it wrong.
- 22:40Speaker 1: He's not supposed to be here.
- 22:41Speaker 3: He's like, I'm sorry. What am I supposed to do? You, you, you,
- 22:43Speaker 3: you called me 15 years from my life because you
- 22:45Speaker 3: couldn't read, you couldn't know the colors, the different colors
- 22:48Speaker 3: between a scarf.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. There are some things that, there are some
- 22:52Speaker 1: things that sorry can't fix. I'll say that. I'm just like, don't.
- 22:56Speaker 3: And then you got Officer Cragen out here trying to fight,
- 22:59Speaker 3: paying for love and thinking that he really falling in love.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I'm like, don't, you falling, you are a victim.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I'm like, Insane show us view, but this is an
- 23:09Speaker 1: insane person like we're not playing with that. In fact,
- 23:13Speaker 1: he's so insane in the killing of 14 year old
- 23:15Speaker 1: Celeste Rivas Hernandez. His defense after about a couple of
- 23:20Speaker 1: months on the case said. Oh, no, man, we the
- 23:27Speaker 1: case ain't looking good. The money getting tight. Oh, no, man,
- 23:31Speaker 1: we out.
- 23:33Speaker 3: They said what's that true skis kid said uh-huh good
- 23:36Speaker 3: news is your payment went through bad news they gave
- 23:40Speaker 3: you life.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Oh god we.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Got good and bad news good news we got your
- 23:45Speaker 3: payment buddy bad news uh they gave you life keep
- 23:51Speaker 3: keep guarding your life yo good news we got your
- 23:56Speaker 3: payment buddy hey and if i remember if i'm reading
- 23:58Speaker 3: like more in the details like He has a trust, right?
- 24:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:01Speaker 3: But apparently his parents and I were like, we're not
- 24:04Speaker 3: giving up this money. Hey, you got to do that.
- 24:06Speaker 3: You got to do that, Tom, brother. We're going to
- 24:09Speaker 3: keep the money. It's good doing business with.
- 24:13Speaker 1: You, man. But yeah, you out of here, brother. Since
- 24:16Speaker 1: we're quoting Spongebob, you do the crime, you got to
- 24:19Speaker 1: do the time. Hopefully D4VD stays in jail more than
- 24:23Speaker 1: two seconds.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Right, bro.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Like Spongebob and Patrick. I don't know why. Every time
- 24:26Speaker 1: I see his name, I just think it's DVD. It's
- 24:30Speaker 1: like six lakh. Like, bro, we're not calling you black.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Why did you spell your name like that? He made
- 24:37Speaker 1: his name laugh like people with dyslexia. Is that true? Yeah.
- 24:42Speaker 1: You're an a-hole for that.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 6: That's messed up, man.
- 24:46Speaker 1: All right. I, Joshua Imahi, apologize for those comments.
- 24:49Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I, Corey David, too, apologize for my comments.
- 24:56Speaker 1: But we don't apologize for saying D4VDD.
- 24:58Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Like I said before, we not doing the whole lethal injection.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Electric chair for that kid. In great words of Dr. Umar,
- 25:10Speaker 3: some people not going to make it. Some people got
- 25:12Speaker 3: to go to sleep for good. They said, what's that
- 25:19Speaker 3: dude from Baltimore? He said, you know, they say it
- 25:22Speaker 3: takes a village to raise a child. What if the
- 25:25Speaker 3: village is....
- 25:29Speaker 1: I can't say that word. I can't say that word.
- 25:33Speaker 1: It's bad, bro. Speaking of more scamming, this is per
- 25:36Speaker 1: PBS News. A whistleblower inside the U.S. Postal Service, the USPS,
- 25:42Speaker 1: warns that their new delivery system, we know what Trump's
- 25:44Speaker 1: trying to change it, it could place this November's midterm
- 25:48Speaker 1: elections at risk.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Color me shocked. In fact, this whistleblower is saying that
- 25:56Speaker 1: the Postal Service continued developing this potentially faulty system that
- 26:01Speaker 1: could affect, again, the most consequential midterm elections maybe in
- 26:04Speaker 1: history in November, despite a federal court order to stop. Yo,
- 26:10Speaker 1: this ain't even scamming. It's just like, hey, stop that. No,
- 26:14Speaker 1: I'm good. That's all they do. You know who we
- 26:17Speaker 1: need on the job, right? Who's that? We need on
- 26:19Speaker 1: the case. Who's that? Pablo. Put Pablo on it. Pablo Torre,
- 26:25Speaker 1: we know your next course of action. Pablo Torre is
- 26:28Speaker 1: going to find out.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Pablo, be safe out there. I just seen a report
- 26:33Speaker 3: that came out of him. You know, Balmer sending like
- 26:38Speaker 3: a letter to them saying that he feels his name
- 26:40Speaker 3: is being dragged through the mud and stuff.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm like, brother, you better be safe. Yeah, Balmer got that.
- 26:45Speaker 1: He got that bounty money if he wants.
- 26:48Speaker 3: They just lost 30 M's. I'm like, yeah, you might
- 26:50Speaker 3: need the higher security.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like Paul might match that 30 M's for,
- 26:54Speaker 1: you know.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Allegedly.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Allegedly.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Allegedly.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Allegedly.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Allegedly. What 50 Cent said, he said, that same money
- 27:00Speaker 3: you could get for me punching you, I could just
- 27:02Speaker 3: give that to the homies and they'd go shoot you.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yo. Yeah, be safe, Pablo, for real. Be safe out there, Pablo.
- 27:10Speaker 1: New York City public schools are banning AI. Matter of fact,
- 27:14Speaker 1: give it up.
- 27:18Speaker 6: Hell yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 1: We know how the recess bell feels about AI. We
- 27:21Speaker 1: feel like it.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Can I say it? I'm going to say it. I'm
- 27:27Speaker 1: going to say it because I got to drive the
- 27:29Speaker 1: point home. It's the retardation of creativity. Yeah, I said it.
- 27:36Speaker 2: But it is.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Can I just say one thing?
- 27:37Speaker 3: That's what AI does.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yes, go ahead. And the fact that they're banning this. Yes.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Just want to say one thing since I graduated and
- 27:43Speaker 3: I'm out of school and stuff. Glad they didn't do
- 27:45Speaker 3: that when I was here. Shout out, shout out, shout
- 27:48Speaker 3: out my boy, Chad.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Disgusting.
- 27:52Speaker 3: You know, we was tight like twins. That little twin,
- 27:56Speaker 3: you know.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Boo this man right here, man.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Boo.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Hey, I seen something like a couple months ago where
- 28:03Speaker 3: teachers had this thing where they can... Like, go over and, like,
- 28:06Speaker 3: read your whole paper how you was writing each word.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, nah. I'm glad I wasn't around during
- 28:12Speaker 3: this phase.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I'll tell you, the thing that makes me crash out,
- 28:15Speaker 1: all the articles I write to TRB, if somebody tries
- 28:18Speaker 1: to say that's AI, I will get violent. Like, don't
- 28:21Speaker 1: disrespect me like that, though.
- 28:22Speaker 3: And then you got teachers using AI to deceive kids
- 28:25Speaker 3: is using AI.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It's a nasty cycle. It's all bad. But I'm glad
- 28:30Speaker 1: New York City public schools had the gall and the
- 28:32Speaker 1: gumption to go after it. Per ABC News, New York
- 28:35Speaker 1: City Public Schools is banning more than half a million
- 28:37Speaker 1: students and teachers from using artificial intelligence for the 2026-27
- 28:42Speaker 1: academic year, which has already started. Again, this is the
- 28:46Speaker 1: nation's largest school district, right?
- 28:48Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 28:50Speaker 1: It's banning it through 2K through 8th grade. So high school,
- 28:54Speaker 1: not touched. So they can roll around with chat GPT
- 28:57Speaker 1: all they want in high school. But Zoran Mamdani said
- 29:00Speaker 1: to the news... reporters of ABC, sorry about that, said
- 29:06Speaker 1: that the city is implementing a moratorium on generative AI
- 29:09Speaker 1: for students in preschool or 2K through eighth grade and
- 29:13Speaker 1: will spend the next year studying the impacts of this technology.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Mamdani said, quote, the tech industry wants us to believe
- 29:20Speaker 1: that AI-powered early education is not only inevitable, but necessary.
- 29:26Speaker 1: We do not see it that way. End quote.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Mic drop for real just be safe just kids just
- 29:34Speaker 3: be safe out there when you're using it make sure
- 29:36Speaker 3: if you try to use it don't use it on
- 29:38Speaker 3: the same computer use another computer to then copy and
- 29:41Speaker 3: paste that. Then put it on the other one. Make
- 29:43Speaker 3: sure you edit out what you... Don't cut them out, bro.
- 29:46Speaker 1: This guy is insane.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Make sure you edit it out. Make it look like
- 29:48Speaker 3: it's your work, you know. This guy's... Reword it a
- 29:51Speaker 3: little bit.
- 29:51Speaker 1: This guy's insane, dog. You always... Do you have any
- 29:54Speaker 1: more tips for criminals and rule breakers?
- 29:56Speaker 6: Corey, you have your degree, right?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I got my degree. We might need to invite...
- 30:01Speaker 1: I could put a word into the deed as soon as.
- 30:04Speaker 1: You might got to investigate that.
- 30:05Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about.
- 30:08Speaker 6: You put yourself out there, man.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Moving like he did. Self-snitching.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Exactly. Exactly.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I DJ.
- 30:23Speaker 1: DJ Vlad just sitting there like, wasn't me? That's the
- 30:27Speaker 1: TRB News Report brought to you by the Recess Building
- 30:29Speaker 1: Network for Creatives. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Man, AIs,
- 30:34Speaker 1: at least, I got to give credit to Mr. Mamdani.
- 30:39Speaker 1: He backs up his talk. I'm not used to politicians
- 30:42Speaker 1: doing that. We know he's a self-described, I can't even
- 30:47Speaker 1: say that. He is a democratic socialist. You know the
- 30:51Speaker 1: legislative branch voted to condemn socialism, Corey? Did you see that?
- 30:57Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Yeah. But not. They don't want to, you know, fix
- 31:03Speaker 1: glass and poop pieces in our food. You know? They
- 31:09Speaker 1: don't want to fix $ 4 gas prices. No.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 31:13Speaker 6: Forget about that.
- 31:14Speaker 1: It's making socialism a slur. I will contend this is
- 31:24Speaker 1: the most bipartisan show on WABC. We keep it fair. Yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: we try. No, we ain't no try. We are.
- 31:30Speaker 3: We are, yeah.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You know, we do our thing. We do our thing.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Other shows be out here like, Trump good. I don't know, man.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I'm just saying there's got to be some nuance involved.
- 31:41Speaker 1: We can't stand politicians out here, man.
- 31:43Speaker 3: You ever had like a moment where it was like,
- 31:45Speaker 3: you was about to say something and it was like,
- 31:48Speaker 3: I don't know if that's going to go away.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw you all bite your tongue.
- 31:52Speaker 3: You know how they say, we don't say no names.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I was about to say some names. I just feel
- 31:59Speaker 1: like politicians, I just feel like they shouldn't have fans
- 32:02Speaker 1: and stands. Like, we know politicians, Democrat, Republican, slimy as hell. Like,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they all disgusting people. Shout out to AIPAC Hakeem Jeffries. Yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: AIPAC Shakur, exactly. We played it during last week's show,
- 32:19Speaker 1: but you weren't here, Corey. Did you see his public
- 32:23Speaker 1: service announcement in Brooklyn after he met with Jared Kushner?
- 32:26Speaker 3: No, I didn't.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Oh, you didn't, huh? What's up, y'all? What's up, y'all?
- 32:32Speaker 3: What's up, y'all?
- 32:34Speaker 1: That outfit is crazy. Just out here scamming. Just out
- 32:37Speaker 1: here scamming. What's up, y'all? Just finished up an event
- 32:41Speaker 1: here in the community in Brooklyn. I want to give
- 32:44Speaker 1: you a little real talk on this Jared Kushner. Shut up.
- 32:48Speaker 1: He was out there in a neon green Yankees fitted.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Just a nasty fit.
- 32:54Speaker 3: You said it. Neon?
- 32:54Speaker 1: I don't know if it was neon, but it was
- 32:56Speaker 1: a nasty shade of green. It was nasty. With the
- 32:59Speaker 1: matching polo. Looking like Fab. Looking like a Spearmint. Looking
- 33:03Speaker 1: like Fabulous. He was looking like an undercoat cop. Yes.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Looking like a narc. What's up, y'all? I want to
- 33:11Speaker 1: give y'all some real talk.
- 33:13Speaker 6: That New York cap looks so big on his head.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yo, looking like a clown, bro.
- 33:17Speaker 6: That brim too.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yo. APAC. APAC's the core, man.
- 33:24Speaker 3: APAC.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yo, by the way, yeah, the people that voted to
- 33:31Speaker 1: condemn socialism, I went on APAC tracker just for fun.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie. Listen, all the ish I'm
- 33:39Speaker 1: talking right now, APEC, if you drop a couple $ 200, 000
- 33:42Speaker 1: on me, I'll switch up completely.
- 33:47Speaker 3: You saying you can You saying you can be bought
- 33:49Speaker 3: You saying you can be bought I gotta make I
- 33:51Speaker 3: gotta pay these bills bro Hey I just want this
- 33:54Speaker 3: I just want this I just wanted I just wanted
- 33:56Speaker 3: this document I guess I need to go back Because
- 33:58Speaker 3: I remember When people was like Hey Corey You said
- 34:00Speaker 3: that Hey With Trump And the refund The refund checks
- 34:05Speaker 3: What would you do The PPP No.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I remember But like I said Times is tough dog
- 34:10Speaker 1: Times is tough out here man This economy Yeah this
- 34:13Speaker 1: economy Is tough out here bro I got a question.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Somebody said this And I was like That's a good
- 34:16Speaker 3: question Somebody said, how can you be fat in this economy?
- 34:19Speaker 3: How can you afford a lot of food? And I
- 34:24Speaker 3: was like, and then somebody responded, because I got a job.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I could afford a four for four out here.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I never had to second guess as much as the
- 34:36Speaker 1: last time I went to the grocery store. It was bad.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I was like, I had to Google it. Is Driscoll
- 34:42Speaker 1: fruit recalled? Like, it was bad. I can't have my
- 34:44Speaker 1: blueberry pancakes.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Everything. What the hell?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Everything is E.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Coli.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Everything is salmonellas. Yo. Yeah, nah, it's crazy. I'm not
- 34:53Speaker 1: trying to have salmonella for lunch and E. coli for dinner.
- 34:56Speaker 3: The farmers ain't even getting paid that much under Trump.
- 34:59Speaker 3: It's like, you would think that the rural areas and
- 35:02Speaker 3: the farmers would be, like, behind Trump. They'd be like, Bro,
- 35:06Speaker 3: we out here down bad because of Buddy.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying, Trump got a couple million dollars from
- 35:12Speaker 1: APAC money. APAC. I'm just saying, holla at your boy.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I'm not saying I'm for sale, but I'm saying I
- 35:19Speaker 1: got to pay these bills, dog. They selling out big bread. Yo,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I'm supposed to just ignore that?
- 35:27Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I see how it is.
- 35:30Speaker 6: I'm just saying, dog.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 35:33Speaker 6: We're going to fold like that.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Difficult choices got to be made. I'm sorry. Man, that's crazy. APAC. Hey,
- 35:45Speaker 1: that's wild.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that's wild.
- 35:48Speaker 7: You're going to fold like that?
- 35:53Speaker 1: They cashing out JD Vant. I'm like, I'm a better
- 35:55Speaker 1: man than him.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Yo, come on.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Yo, come on. APAC. I need some of that. I
- 36:02Speaker 1: need some of that, dog. My boy about to be
- 36:05Speaker 1: on Fox News.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you better have it. TRB first guest of the
- 36:12Speaker 3: new year. Candace Owens. You better have me with the
- 36:21Speaker 3: bad fitting suit.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And they don't know how to get black people ready
- 36:27Speaker 1: with the makeup and everything. They're going to have me
- 36:29Speaker 1: looking crazy in the Fox news lights. Josh is going
- 36:32Speaker 1: to come out.
- 36:33Speaker 3: You know what? Sophie Cunningham, bad.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I mean, if you really listen to what she's saying. Technically,
- 36:39Speaker 1: if you think about it, she got a point. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 1: it's going to be bad. It's going to be bad.
- 36:44Speaker 1: It's going to be bad. It's going to be super bad.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I see a flagrant foul on Kaitlyn Clark. Oh, this
- 36:48Speaker 1: is why the WNBA.
- 36:50Speaker 3: APAC.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Yo.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Don't be shocked, dog. We all got to make difficult
- 37:00Speaker 1: choices in this life.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I ain't going to hold you, but I think if
- 37:03Speaker 3: I wanted to, I could get that bit off.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I could easily get that bit off. Oh, we know
- 37:06Speaker 1: you could. I could get that bit off. You about
- 37:09Speaker 1: to be on Fox News with Will Kane.
- 37:13Speaker 3: And this is why Josh Allen is just a better
- 37:17Speaker 3: quarterback than Lamar Jackson.
- 37:20Speaker 1: We about to be out there like, yo, it is
- 37:23Speaker 1: 10 years since Colin Kaepernick knelt. I hate to do
- 37:27Speaker 1: a cap.
- 37:28Speaker 3: No, no, no. When they say that, you know what
- 37:32Speaker 3: you got to say? He's like, I mean, he lost
- 37:34Speaker 3: his job fair and square. He wasn't producing as a quarterback.
- 37:38Speaker 1: He was declining. Like, that's what happens in the NFL.
- 37:41Speaker 1: It had nothing to do with him kneeling for the anthem.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I can get that bit off. Yeah. Listen.
- 37:48Speaker 3: APAC money. One second, one second. Me and what's-her-name got
- 37:54Speaker 3: the same name, so, you know, Cory Booker.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Yo, Cory's going to be up there on Fox and
- 38:00Speaker 1: Friends in the morning, dog. Oh, nasty, nasty word.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Cory, Cory, Cory in the house. Got that A-Pack money.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Cory in the house. I'm your man.
- 38:13Speaker 6: Wrap it up.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Get out, Cory.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yo, we got to laugh to keep from crying, though.
- 38:21Speaker 1: It's nasty business. It's hard out here for a pimp.
- 38:24Speaker 2: It is.
- 38:24Speaker 4: It is.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Yo, yo, I got that school bill today.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Shout out financial aid.
- 38:40Speaker 3: But, you know.
- 38:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:41Speaker 1: It's tough out here, man. Like, APAC.
- 38:43Speaker 3: APAC. I got student loans, too, that I'm still paying off.
- 38:46Speaker 1: APAC. I'm not going to beg y'all, but, hey. Hey.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Before I let you go.
- 38:52Speaker 1: You and these parodies.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Garrett Wilson.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Wow!
- 39:12Speaker 3: What a catch!
- 39:14Speaker 2: Touchdown Jets!
- 39:17Speaker 3: That kid's amazing.
- 39:18Speaker 1: A minute remaining.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Brunson at three. Bam! Jalen Brunson does it again! The maestro.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Another virtuoso performance. Swing and a drive toward gap in
- 39:30Speaker 3: right center. It's pretty deep. It's back near the wall.
- 39:33Speaker 3: It's gone.
- 39:34Speaker 1: It's gone.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Francisco Lindor. He may have just outdone himself. He has
- 39:40Speaker 3: hit a grand slam. Drown deep to left field. There
- 39:46Speaker 3: it goes. Number 60. Slide over, babe. You've got some company.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Sports Report.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Sports Report.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Sports Report.
- 39:57Speaker 6: This is the Recess Bell Sports Report.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Slide over, babe. The TRB Sports Report. Yep. Yankees, they
- 40:18Speaker 1: had an eventful week that was capped by their big
- 40:21Speaker 1: series win versus their arch rival Boston Red Sox. They
- 40:26Speaker 1: took three out of four, including a 16-1 laugher of
- 40:30Speaker 1: a win by the Yankees on Sunday. But thanks to
- 40:33Speaker 1: Red Sox play-by-play announcer Will Fleming and his viral criticisms
- 40:39Speaker 1: of Jazz Chisholm Jr., The final score was far from
- 40:47Speaker 1: the main story. So, backstory. Jazz is on first base.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Six-run lead for the Yankees. Steals second. They're not really
- 40:55Speaker 1: trying to throw him out. Then he goes ahead and
- 40:57Speaker 1: steals third. And we all know about the unwritten rules
- 41:00Speaker 1: of baseball, right? Red Sox play-by-play announcer Will Fleming and
- 41:07Speaker 1: color commentator Will Middlebrooks. Take it away.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Chisholm's doing it again. This is what he does. Look,
- 41:14Speaker 3: you're up six. It's the eight.
- 41:17Speaker 9: The team is electing not to hold you on.
- 41:19Speaker 3: That's the white flag, right? And normally in that situation,
- 41:23Speaker 3: you don't run.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Wouldn't you sort of like to see Moran drill Wells
- 41:29Speaker 2: right here? Infield's coming in. That's selfish play, right? That's
- 41:34Speaker 2: just padding your stats. Well, he's a Bush league player.
- 41:37Speaker 2: It's not even a steal. Here's the pitch, and it's
- 41:40Speaker 2: swung on and missed. I think that's indifference, don't you?
- 41:42Speaker 9: Yeah, it's just, you know, one of the unwritten rules, like,
- 41:44Speaker 9: if we're holding you on, sure, if you get a jump, go.
- 41:47Speaker 9: But if I'm going to play behind you at first base,
- 41:49Speaker 9: that's us just saying, you just play the game, right?
- 41:53Speaker 9: And normally you don't see guys steal in that situation
- 41:56Speaker 9: up six late in the game.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Well, that's who Jazz is. They'll remember that.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Oh, we got more from these two, though.
- 42:10Speaker 1: As the game was going on, Jazz is living rent-free
- 42:13Speaker 1: in their minds at this point. Let's let it rip.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I don't know what else you need to hear. The
- 42:16Speaker 3: 3-2 is drilled into right field. It is way back in.
- 42:19Speaker 1: It is gone.
- 42:21Speaker 2: And Moran should fight Chisholm. He's walking toward the third
- 42:23Speaker 2: base line, staring at him there.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Chisholm drops home. It's a two-run homer, and it's 9-1.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Well, it's as if.
- 42:32Speaker 3: We needed a little extra.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Vinegar for what feels like an inevitable postseason series. There
- 42:40Speaker 2: it is. It's 9-1, New York. Chisholm, I'm going to
- 42:46Speaker 2: say it, he plays the game the wrong way. It's
- 42:48Speaker 2: a breaking ball. It's launched by Wells.
- 42:51Speaker 3: He's awesome. Jazz is so talented.
- 42:54Speaker 2: As I've said so many times, he won them the
- 42:57Speaker 2: wild card series last year.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Interesting he was talking about Jazz Chisholm and said the
- 43:01Speaker 1: word vinegar. Got as close as he could. Yeah, so
- 43:10Speaker 1: this caused a lot of discourse on social media. Jazz
- 43:14Speaker 1: Chisholm was essentially like, well, here's the exact quote, quote,
- 43:17Speaker 1: they're called unwritten rules because you're really not breaking any rules.
- 43:21Speaker 1: You've seen teams do the same thing where they're pouring
- 43:23Speaker 1: on runs. That's just showing how unprofessional Will Fleming is.
- 43:27Speaker 1: End quote. Aaron Boone backed him up, said he told
- 43:30Speaker 1: him to do it. But, damn, this pitcher on the
- 43:34Speaker 1: mound is giving up home runs left and right, and
- 43:37Speaker 1: they're still going on about, yeah, I think we should
- 43:40Speaker 1: fight Jazz Chisholm. The player should just go down, rip
- 43:42Speaker 1: his jersey off, tackle him. Like, damn, kid.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Relax.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Relax.
- 43:47Speaker 3: You know what the crazy thing is? Growing up, like,
- 43:51Speaker 3: I always had these things. I wanted to play baseball.
- 43:54Speaker 3: If I was to ever make it to, like, that
- 43:56Speaker 3: level— I don't know how I would act with these
- 44:00Speaker 3: unwritten rules. If you try to beam me with a baseball,
- 44:02Speaker 3: with a ball, I'm not going to lie. I'm hitting
- 44:05Speaker 3: you with a bat. And I know people, I'm hitting
- 44:07Speaker 3: you with the bat. Like, I'm not being like, oh,
- 44:11Speaker 3: he dropped the bat. He's going to run. No, I'm
- 44:12Speaker 3: hitting you with the bat.
- 44:14Speaker 1: They would hate my ass. I'm coming to the plate
- 44:16Speaker 1: with Cartier sunglasses on.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Son, I'm violent. I'm violent. I'm like, yo, you're not
- 44:22Speaker 3: about to do that.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's baseball culture, though. Somebody hurts your feelings.
- 44:26Speaker 1: The old school guys talk about this all the time. Oh,
- 44:28Speaker 1: throw at somebody that had nothing to do with the
- 44:31Speaker 1: play at all. All right.
- 44:33Speaker 3: And if you try to throw a 90-mile joint at
- 44:36Speaker 3: my head, I'm seeing you after the game.
- 44:41Speaker 1: You got to.
- 44:41Speaker 3: I'm seeing. I'm waiting by you. What Mello do to KG?
- 44:46Speaker 3: This all because of the game? This all because of
- 44:48Speaker 3: the game?
- 44:48Speaker 1: Mello, because of a basketball game.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Yep.
- 44:52Speaker 6: Yep.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Yep. Yeah, but the Yankees did widen their lead over
- 44:58Speaker 1: the Red Sox in the standings, which is what really matters.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Play defense.
- 45:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Stop it.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Check ball.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Ball up top. 100%. Don't hate the play, hate the game.
- 45:11Speaker 1: The LA Angels sold from the infamous Artie Moreno, the
- 45:15Speaker 1: former owner now, to the Kroenke family. Angels fans rejoice
- 45:19Speaker 1: because Stan Kroenke and his ownership, they win everywhere they're at.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Denver Nuggets won a championship.
- 45:24Speaker 7: L.A.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Rams won a championship. The Colorado Avalanche of the Hockey
- 45:28Speaker 1: League won a championship. Hey, shout out to me on
- 45:30Speaker 1: my St. Louis people. We don't rock with Kroenke. You know,
- 45:33Speaker 1: they took the Rams from St.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Louis.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Oh. I actually, I do feel bad for them because
- 45:38Speaker 1: they got to L.A. and it's just been straight slurpy, slurpy.
- 45:41Speaker 3: What St.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Louis got there? They don't got a football team. Nobody
- 45:46Speaker 1: care about St.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Louis?
- 45:47Speaker 1: They got the Cardinals.
- 45:49Speaker 3: All they got now is Nelly. That's it.
- 45:51Speaker 1: They got Nelly and Changi. They got Nelly and the St.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Louis Cardinals. Yeah. That ain't that much. It's not, but
- 46:00Speaker 1: you know. They need restitution. Shout out to the LA Angels.
- 46:03Speaker 1: The US Open. Let's do that. Tennis, y'all. It's been
- 46:07Speaker 1: quite the tournament so far through two rounds. Novak Djokovic
- 46:10Speaker 1: got upset in the first round. He was puking. Courtside,
- 46:14Speaker 1: he was going through it. Lost to Argentinian Mariana Navone.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Serena and Venus. Back on the court starting soon. In
- 46:21Speaker 1: women's doubles. Yo, that phrase, Unk.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Still got it?
- 46:26Speaker 1: The aunties still got it. The aunties still got it, yo.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Can't wait to watch that. Naomi Osaka did a tribute
- 46:32Speaker 1: to Allen Iverson the other day. Had the cornrows, the headband,
- 46:38Speaker 1: the black jersey.
- 46:39Speaker 3: I was like, okay, Naomi.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Allen Iverson behind Michael Jordan still to this day. The
- 46:44Speaker 1: most influential player. in NBA history. Like, influence unmatched. People
- 46:49Speaker 1: got tattoos and wore headbands because of him. Come on.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Top-ranked male American in the U.S. Open, Ben Shelton, had
- 46:56Speaker 1: his girlfriend, woman soccer player, Trinity Rodman. Brought up Michael Jordan,
- 47:00Speaker 1: former teammate of Michael Jordan. Dennis Rodman is Trinity Rodman's father, right?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Supporting Ben Shelton in a I Heart My Boyfriend t-shirt. God,
- 47:11Speaker 1: I don't ask for much. I don't ask for much.
- 47:16Speaker 1: NFL preseason news. Odell Beckham Jr. made the New York
- 47:20Speaker 1: Giants roster. And he got that 1-3 back on his back.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Jalen Hyatt, get out of here, champ. It's Odell Beckham Jr.
- 47:27Speaker 3: 's number again. I ain't going to hold you. Nostalgia
- 47:30Speaker 3: got a hold of me. You know what I'm about
- 47:32Speaker 3: to do? I had a fantasy draft, right? Fall asleep
- 47:34Speaker 3: to Odell Beckham Jr.
- 47:35Speaker 4: Highlights.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Oh, I did that.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I did that last night. I ain't going to hold you.
- 47:39Speaker 3: No funny.
- 47:39Speaker 1: No funny.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Was it either yesterday or the day before? Oh, I
- 47:43Speaker 3: watched the 30-minute Odell Beckham highlight tape just now. Just
- 47:48Speaker 3: like reminiscing.
- 47:50Speaker 1: It's okay. I do that with my pookie bear, Jalen Brunson.
- 47:53Speaker 3: You know who's playing in the background? Take me away.
- 47:57Speaker 3: That is where I want to be.
- 48:01Speaker 4: Romantic.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Yeah. I was like, we are in a good time.
- 48:06Speaker 3: I was about to draft him last night. I was
- 48:08Speaker 3: about to draft him.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Oh, I'll find a way to get a moment on
- 48:10Speaker 1: my fantasy.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. He's going to be on the team. He's
- 48:13Speaker 3: going to be on the team. I'm still got it.
- 48:16Speaker 3: I was like this.
- 48:17Speaker 1: When I seen that, when he was like, yo, is
- 48:19Speaker 1: Jalen Hyatt giving up that number?
- 48:21Speaker 3: Give that number.
- 48:21Speaker 1: You taking that number off your back.
- 48:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I don't think he, there was a real chance he
- 48:25Speaker 1: was going to keep that number.
- 48:27Speaker 3: You remember that video of when Jalen Hyatt got drafted
- 48:29Speaker 3: and he said, man, and they gave him the number.
- 48:31Speaker 3: He said, man, don't break all my records. He ain't
- 48:33Speaker 3: break nothing. And we took your roster spot. He barely
- 48:37Speaker 3: caught the ball. And it's time for the Giants.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Packers running back Josh Jacobs. Olivia Benton, Elliott Stable, come
- 48:43Speaker 1: back here. Placed on the commissioner's exempt list for his
- 48:48Speaker 1: arrest of domestic battery earlier in the offseason. Apparently, according
- 48:53Speaker 1: to police reports, May 23rd, his girlfriend was going through
- 48:57Speaker 1: his phone, discovered that Jacobs was talking to other women,
- 49:00Speaker 1: and they got into a scuffle in the garage and
- 49:02Speaker 1: cameras caught it on footage.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Live and direct.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Damn, kid. Gotta know what them cameras is. It's not funny.
- 49:11Speaker 1: But yeah, he will not be playing for the foreseeable future.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Tiger was talking about that uh hashtag good milk you
- 49:19Speaker 1: know uh following his viral dui arrest he reached a
- 49:24Speaker 1: plea agreement that results in the suspension of his driver's
- 49:27Speaker 1: license for five years including golf carts.
- 49:33Speaker 6: That's embarrassing.
- 49:35Speaker 3: He can't even. Yo. He can't drive a golf cart.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Dog, he can only hop in that golf cart after
- 49:40Speaker 1: the back nine. Like, not so fast. That's insane. Can't
- 49:44Speaker 1: even trust you driving on the golf course, dog. Yo.
- 49:48Speaker 1: But he had his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, by his side
- 49:50Speaker 1: in court. Oh, you don't approve of Tiger Woods and
- 49:56Speaker 1: Vanessa Trump's relationship? You know you've been dipping in that
- 50:00Speaker 1: milk for like a long time. A long time.
- 50:02Speaker 6: A long time.
- 50:03Speaker 1: A long, long time.
- 50:07Speaker 3: We got to get an update on that Dave Chappelle skit.
- 50:10Speaker 3: You know, I think we should have been trading him.
- 50:13Speaker 3: The racial draft? Yeah, I think he broke the rules
- 50:18Speaker 3: of that draft a long time ago.
- 50:21Speaker 1: We do have to bring back the... I think in
- 50:23Speaker 1: today's society, it's the perfect opportunity for the racial drama.
- 50:27Speaker 3: I still don't know how the Asians finessed the Wu-Tang Clan.
- 50:31Speaker 3: How they got the whole Wu-Tang Clan?
- 50:33Speaker 1: Crazy work. It really is crazy when you think about it.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Yo, son, shout out to.
- 50:38Speaker 1: The Wu-Tang Clan. Oh, God.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Who do... Did we get Eminem? I think we got Eminem.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I'll look over the terms of the contract.
- 50:47Speaker 3: I think we got Eminem for Colin Powell. That's a
- 50:52Speaker 3: good look.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Inconsolute. I'm not about to butcher that woman's name. That'll
- 50:57Speaker 1: do it for the TRB Sports Report. Brought to you
- 51:00Speaker 1: by the Recess Bell Network and TRB Sports. We'll be
- 51:03Speaker 1: on fire during the NFL season coming up.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Josh, let me know when we're going to do the
- 51:10Speaker 3: pre-mock draft of that draft.
- 51:12Speaker 1: I got you. The racial draft. The pre-mock draft. Well,
- 51:16Speaker 1: I'm going to set it up soon.
- 51:16Speaker 3: No worries.
- 51:18Speaker 1: So we'll close. On this note, again, the Jaleel White
- 51:23Speaker 1: conversation on the 90s. TRB will put something together for you,
- 51:26Speaker 1: but we had so much fun on the radio show,
- 51:28Speaker 1: we couldn't get to it. Feel me? We promise we'll
- 51:32Speaker 1: get that on TRB soon. I did want to close
- 51:34Speaker 1: with this. Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden. How gay are you?
- 51:39Speaker 3: Are you gay? Only a little bit. More or less
- 51:43Speaker 3: than 50%. What? More or less than 50%. 48.6%.
- 51:52Speaker 1: How did he come up with that calculation? That booger
- 51:55Speaker 1: sugar make you do things, man. Apparently.
- 51:57Speaker 3: 48.6% gay?
- 51:58Speaker 1: Wow, kid. On that note, that'll do it for the
- 52:04Speaker 1: TRP on air tonight. At least he honest. Honesty is
- 52:07Speaker 1: the best policy.
- 52:08Speaker 6: Dajon love.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Honesty is the best policy.
- 52:11Speaker 3: I'm trying to find something stupid here, but wouldn't that
- 52:15Speaker 3: just make him bi? If he 50-50?
- 52:16Speaker 1: He's 48.6.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Careful, you insensitive....
- 52:21Speaker 1: That'll do it for TRB.
- 52:21Speaker 3: He almost did.
- 52:22Speaker 1: That'll be it for TRB on there tonight. On behalf
- 52:25Speaker 1: of Leigh and Corey, this is Josh Fimahi signing off.
- 52:27Speaker 1: We'll see you next week here on the Voice of
- 52:29Speaker 1: Nassau Community College 90.3 WHPC. Everybody say 48.6.
- 52:33Speaker 3: 48.6.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Damn. 48.6.
- 52:43Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Bye.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Bye.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Bye.
