  Go out to la.
• 0:04
Somebody need to do a song for la.
• 0:13
Hello, my name is Elaine and I'll be your tour guide through South Central Los Angeles. Look, count my nose. Smoke up. I'm from California. Where you from? So what? I'm from California. California. California. California. This is Los Angeles. Well, where we going? West.
• 0:33
As characters growing up. And we would imitate Americans. We love imitating African Americans because in our household we were told, don't be like African Americans.
• 0:41
It was like they were like, that's not you. That's not your upbringing. So that just makes a kid, like, want to be an African American. So we were like, all right, we're going to be 50 cent bet. Like, so that's unfortunate.
• 0:53
Shout out to my boy, 12 Cal, man. Another great topic that he had you found not too long ago, maybe, you know, a couple of weeks ago.
• 1:02
Where have y' all been at lately? You know, some places that y' all probably visited throughout your lifetime or places that you might want to visit throughout your lifetime. And I think it's about 25 of them, if I'm not mistaken.
• 1:21
Huh? Let me see what we got. 25.
• 1:25
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So it says he found this list. And 12 college is great on finding some just dope topics that'll get you through the week, right?
• 1:36
And one, this one he found. I think he might have found this one off of IG or whatever. The other one is called Threads. That's it. So the average American has only been to four cities in that. On that list, right?
• 1:59
We're gonna go through that list. And I made sure I have my notes on standby because I'm starting to write down notes, people, just so I could add some key pointers to a couple of things out there. Huh? Huh? Yeah. Look at me being a grown up and all. Right, so here we go. We're going to start with. The first city on the list is New York City. So look, I count everything, right?
• 2:24
Now, I probably can't go into detail for a lot of the. For a lot of these cities, but if I've been there, technically I've been there, right? You know what I mean? So.
• 2:36
And just as a disclaimer, I'm willing to visit a lot of places at least once.
• 2:45
Some, not so much. And I might get to that towards the end of the episode if I can remember, because I might do. I might do a top 25 if there's ever.
• 2:55
If there's 25 places that I don't want to go, right?
• 3:00
Because off the top, I Can think about five places.
• 3:04
But thing is, it's not just inside the US Though. A lot of it is. I would say some of it is outside the country, not a lot of it.
• 3:12
But here we go. First city on the. On the. On the list is New York. I've been in New York twice, right?
• 3:19
Have I. Was I able to visit any of the boroughs? No.
• 3:24
Was I able to kick it with Wu Tang? No.
• 3:27
  Was I able.
• 3:29
Was I able to go down to what they. What's they got, where they dropped the ball at? I can't think of it right now. Y' all know what I'm talking about, though?
• 3:39
No, I've only been to the airport twice.
• 3:43
Once we, you know, when we was heading out to. Going to Ghana and then when we came back from Ghana, right? And both times, stupid cold. Stupid cold. Because it's the end of December when we went, right?
• 3:57
  As a matter of fact.
• 3:59
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was towards the end, I think, somewhere around the 28th, 28th, 29th, somewhere around there.
• 4:07
We flew out and we came back. It was in, you know, it was January by that time when we came back, because we was out there for about a week and a half.
• 4:16
So it was cold in the motherfucker. And as you are, you know, descending, you can see some of the ice and the snow and shit like that throughout the city and stuff like that. And it was a sewer burst. Sewer burst. A sewer pipe burst.
• 4:32
  So y' all know that.
• 4:34
That flat escalator walker thing that's in the middle of the airport. If you've ever been to New York or even in.
• 4:41
  They got them in.
• 4:43
They got them in Vegas, too, in certain hotels where you can get on it. And it's like, you know, helps you walk faster.
• 4:55
A pipe burst. Shit everywhere in that section. Smells like shit.
• 5:00
Smells like shit. And we had just the special trip about that was that. That was the year that we beat the Yankees in the World Series. So Marcy was walking through the airport with the Dodgers hat. I'm not even sure if it was the Championship Edition 1, but she had on the LA hat.
• 5:19
She was the only one in there with a LA hat on. And we rocked it proud. So shout out. So that is my extent of my visit for New York currently. I plan on going. We. We plan on going to New York every year. It just don't.
• 5:36
It just don't happen. And it's very difficult to visit New York in cold weather, you know what I mean? Because we don't have built for some of these cities that get real cold. So that's another thing.
• 5:51
And we just love our. Well, when we say we love our summers, we.
• 5:55
We just really talking about how it looks outside, but not how it feels because we stay in the desert. So next up, speaking of number two, Los Angeles.
• 6:05
I've been to that place a few times a lot.
• 6:09
Born and raised here, Love it. Best city in the world.
• 6:14
  California could literally just.
• 6:19
We could have one more big earthquake and separate us from, you know, the Oregons, the. The. The. The ne of the Utahs of the world. And we will be. We can, you know, our economic. We could be our own country. Technically, we can be our own. Our own country.
• 6:37
So shout out to la. Yes, I have been there a few times.
• 6:41
Number three on the list is Chicago. Yes, I have been to Chicago once. I have played basketball in Chicago. I have been to a comedy club in Chicago. I have been to the mall in Chicago. I have been down one of those badass blocks. And in Chicago, not knowing where I was at, but when I was told by some natives, yeah, that area be popping. I've been to outside of a club in Chicago and I'm glad I didn't stay. I was kind of. It was kind of. I was kind of pushing it. Cause I had went to Chicago for a family reunion. I was kicking in with my cousins. They took me to the club. I was dressed for the club. But then I went as far as. I think we end up going to like the entryway of the club. And then we end up going, leaving. Because my flight, I was leaving at like 4 or 5 in the morning. So it was cutting it close. You know, I had a rental so I had to get back, back. So I have been to Chicago.
• 7:39
Do I plan on going back? Yeah, I plan on going back to Chicago to do the tourist. Now when I went to Chicago for the family reunion, I was in the hood or whatever. And what tripped me out was I was looking to go hoop and I. Which I did.
• 7:53
But before I found a place because my cousin had put me on Shout out to Dante. He had put me on.
• 7:59
And there was some park that wasn't too far away from the water. So I don't know, you know, whatever.
• 8:06
But before that, my spot that I was staying at in Chicago, my hotel was right down the street from a McDonald's. So it was walking distance. So I walked down there and it was a cat that was doing construction work on the outside of the McDonald's and I asked. It was a black dude, young black dude, looked like he was like in his mid to late 20s.
• 8:24
And I was like, hey, you know where they hoop at? Right? When he opened up his mouth and started talking that said, oh man, I don't know, man. I'm from Gary, Indiana. Country as hell.
• 8:36
Country as hell threw me off guard.
• 8:39
But I didn't realize Indiana, Gary, Indiana was that close. Apparently drive back and forth for work and stuff like that, I learned. So yeah, that's Chicago. Shout out to Chicago. Been there once.
• 8:52
The next one is Orlando, Florida. No, I have never been to Orlando. I know that's where Disney World. I think Disney World is in Orlando. Right? So shout out to them.
• 9:04
No, I haven't been there. Do I want to visit? Yeah, absolutely. I go to Orlando, Florida. Yeah, definitely for Disney World. Absolutely. They say they it take about three or four days to, to basically explore and experience the whole, you know, the whole park.
• 9:22
Number five is Las Vegas. Been there too many goddamn times.
• 9:28
Look, I gotta love hate with Las Vegas.
• 9:31
The bulk of it is I hate to drive. I've always hated to drive outside of like the college years, you know, the college years span from 18 to like 24ish, you know what I mean? Maybe. No, it's really 18 to 20. It's really 18 to like 22.
• 9:53
But you know, some niggas at, you know, 18 to 24, I'd say that's the college years.
• 10:01
I hate to drive. Four hour drive there and back. You doing anywhere between eight to 10 hours of driving, depending on if it's like a Friday, a regular Friday versus a Friday, going into a holiday weekend. That's the worst. Memorial Day, all that, that's just if, if 4th of July lands on a, a Friday or a Monday or something like that, or even a Thursday. I've been out there for New Year's. I've been out there for the fourth of July. It is extremely hot desert, desert heat.
• 10:37
We will rank those heats throughout this list because there's a couple of places that they got some heat on them. Vegas is up there because I, I haven't been in a hundred. I didn't been in 111 degree weather at 11 o' clock at night in Vegas. Okay? And I got, I got, I got, I got footage, all right?
• 11:01
And it's cool, it's cool. Vegas, Vegas. Look, Vegas, Las Vegas is the strip. That is it. Y' all can go to, you can go to the surrounding places. Henderson is the only one I really know that really matters to me. I've never been to Reno. Don't care to go there.
• 11:17
Vegas, I don't. I just came back from Vegas recently and I hadn't been to Vegas in shitting. Well, I can't say in years. It's probably been like on and off, maybe a couple of years. Especially since the pandemic.
• 11:30
I think I may have been to Vegas maybe three or four times since the pandemic.
• 11:35
That's how much I just don't want to go is. And like I said, mainly if I can catch a flight, get there and back, then I'm cool. But the stripper is not like how it used to be back in the 90s and the early 2000s, even the mid 2000s.
• 11:49
Yeah, the stripper was the place to be. It's dead. It's really for like people who've never been there and people who got a gambling problem.
• 11:59
  Right.
• 12:00
But it's dope. College football opening weekend, that's been our thing for years. We'll go to one of the hotels or we go to one of the casinos.
• 12:09
You got a plethora of games that you could watch that Saturday.
• 12:13
It's during football season in general. We also. They also got the summer league out there, you know, two gyms, two or three gyms or something like that. But we've been out there for that. We've attended that. So Vegas got a lot of it. Got a lot of things.
• 12:26
Sports wise, you should go out there. You know, we went. We've been to a couple of college basketball game classics, you know what I'm saying? I think we went to go see UCLA versus Ohio State, North Carolina versus Kentucky matchup. That was dope. I think that was back in like 2018.
• 12:44
I want to say something like that.
• 12:47
It was when Malik Monk was still playing for Kentucky, but Vegas overall, I mean, look, like I said, if you into like the whole, like, I do sports gambling from time to time. I might even go to the tables if the homies go. But I'm not a. I'm not a big gambler or anything like that. Don't really care to lose my money. Like in Vegas will get you.
• 13:07
Vegas will get you. You gonna see. We just was. We was just out there when Chris Brown and Usher was out there. That's how you know when somebody's out there. Because the hoochies act different. Okay. The clubs and the lounges is. They got some top tier ones, but like I said, they used to be top tier back in the day versus now. I mean, I'm. I'm part of the older crowd, so I don't really, you know, it ain't. It don't really hit like it how it used to. Now if I go to Vegas and see somebody perform, them niggas have probably been retired, you know, or they even put out their 25th album. But yeah, that's Vegas. That's Vegas in a nutshell. It's not, you know, maybe it might be something dope to get off the, the, the list, you know what I'm saying? If you've never been there, but outside of that, like, if I never go back to Vegas, I don't even know if I'll ever. I don't know if I really, you know, ain't going to really bother me, but. Shout out, though. Shout out.
• 14:07
Next one, number six is Miami. Went for a 24 hour visit. So we was going for the family reunion cruise to the Bahamas and we, you know, was taking the ship from the, from the Miami port. And so what we did was we went a day early. We went a day early so we could spend 24 hours in Miami.
• 14:28
We did get to experience South Beach. It wasn't, I don't know, we didn't get to experience South Beach. Like I look at south beach like how I look at Vegas, that time is gone. You know what I'm saying? We not gonna get. Whatever was popping back then.
• 14:43
You could tell it's not popping now. A gang of Dr. Miami's is walking around a gang of em.
• 14:50
  It's just ass.
• 14:52
  But is surgery ass.
• 14:57
You know what I'm saying? It's hard to come by some authentic cheeks out there, but that's, that's not a pun either. But you got some nice shaped surgical asses out there walking around, cute faces like. And it's, you know, this was during the world.
• 15:16
Not the World Series, the soccer World cup. During the World cup time. We got to pass by the Miami Heat arena and things like that. Miami is what. What Bad Boys one and two showed you. Okay? Pretty much.
• 15:34
And you got to see these private islands.
• 15:37
The humidity slapped a dog out of you.
• 15:41
That humidity is crazy. You understand what I'm saying? Like, if you go out there and anything. Cotton jeans, you were it. We learned quick. I'm talking about quick. We stepped outside, maybe walked about 17 steps. I'm leaking, bro. My shirt is drenched. And we had the nerve to ride bikes to Walgreens.
• 16:05
We went to the beach. Oh, iguanas, they got iguana now. You know, they got, you know, they talk about how, you know, when it comes down to Florida, they got, they got gators and Florida, man. And stuff like that.
• 16:21
Hey, they got iguanas. We was chilling in the hotel pool area and things like that. And we got us a nice little spot. We in the water. I'm just doing my family thing on the vacation before the family reunion. And two big ass. One of them was like a sherbert color, and another one was a traditional green iguana. Big though. These was big. And they just. Just walking around and they was walking around by our bed area. You know, I had the, like the little spa beds out there and stuff like that. And I'm like, yo. And then I left and went upstairs. I'm not sure for what I remember going upstairs and my wife called or text. Like one of the iguanas just hopped on the bed, was trying. Cause we. One of iguanas was in like the flower pot, just eating on branches and like that. The other one hopped on our bed or whatever, like full attack mode. I'm like, that's crazy right there. That's crazy. Which I went through.
• 17:21
But my Miami, the only thing I could take away from that is that humidity. I called King Germ while I was out there. While I was on the bike. I was on a. Riding a bike, talking to King Germ. And it was very difficult for me to do because I was holding my hand. I was holding my phone with one hand and riding the bike with the other. That's very difficult when that humidity and that heat is on your ass. And look, everybody want to claim they city got the best food. From Houston to Miami to Chicago, New York, everybody. Look, everybody, food is good.
• 17:56
But you also got some spots that people go to because they do it when they come to la, they'll go to the bad spots and they go report back to the Internet and say, oh, this shit trash, Louisiana food. Trash. No, I know Miami got some good food. I just so happened. Didn't get. I didn't get that good food that day. We went. We went to Fogo de Chow. We went to another restaurant around the corner from there that had like some seafood.
• 18:20
Like they had a seafood menu. That shit was trash. I'm talking about a D plus. And for all my 2K players. You know what I'm talking about, nigga? One turnover and a miss. Layup or a block? Layup, nigga. You a D plus, nigga. And that's what it was. But we was hungry. They did have a Haagen Dazs ice cream store next door, but we never got to it. We never got to it. We never got to it.
• 18:45
So we just, you know, and I call it. The one person I, I forgot to get in contact with was Delvin. You know what I'm saying? It was a 24 hour thing because I knew I was gonna, I wasn't gonna be able to meet up with him. But I should have called him though.
• 19:01
Next time, Delvin, you know, my days in Miami is not, you know, I'll be back out there playing.
• 19:06
I will say this for people that want to work out.
• 19:09
Make sure you take your water, make sure you know when to take breaks. But I think that might be an excellent place to go work out at, you know what I'm saying? In Miami, you gonna burn. You gonna burn for sure. And every person out there that look black don't. All of em don't speak in English. Just be aware of that. And we had some rude customer service at the Walgreens too.
• 19:31
But we passed that shout out to Miami, man. That was number six.
• 19:36
  What else we got?
• 19:37
Number seven, San Fran. I'm gonna say San Fran slash Oakland because we took the break the Bay Bridge over to Oakland for basketball tournament. I've been to San Fran a few times.
• 19:49
I've been across the Golden State Bridge. I just brought up the Bay Bridge. The Bay Bridge is crazy because if his wind that's popping off my nigga. You can see that motherfucker while you on it just swaying, swaying. And they got like a, they got a, they got an upstairs freeway that is. It's scary. And then they got another bridge. I'm not sure what the name of that bridge is, but they got another bridge that's water level that crazy. They got so many goddamn bridges out there. But I've been, I've been across that Golden State Bridge twice. You got to pay for it. You do have to pay for it. The Bay Bridge is free. We went over to Oakland.
• 20:31
We got to see the, we got to see the, the, the, the. The popular jc. I forgot what it's called though.
• 20:38
You got to see the popular jc. I got to see the old Raiders and athletic A's, uh, stadium. Uh, one year we've been a couple of times saying friend is that's tech world to me because we were seeing the self driving uh, cars uh, before they got, before they got to la, you know what I mean?
• 20:58
Oh, that was my bad. I got a phone call.
• 21:01
Yeah, we was getting, we was getting those. We, we. They was getting that way before we was. Now we did have those, what do you call those, those delivery machines. Those came out.
• 21:15
Those was out in LA for a cool minute.
• 21:18
So we did see those. We did see those. But the self driving cars, they had them on. When I say they had them on lock, I'm talking about they had them on lock.
• 21:32
Like them was everywhere. We did go to the full house. We took a picture in front of the full house. House. That was dope. And then another time I went. We. We went to Alcatraz, the prison. We took a tour there. So that was dope. We saw where quote unquote escaped or whatever. And it's surrounded by water until this day. People still don't real. They still don't know if he actually got away or not. We don't know. We don't know.
• 22:02
But we took a tour around that whole little island that is. And it's a small, little, small little prison island or whatever. It's dope. It's dope. But San Fran is cool. They. We stayed over there by the. What is it called? The fishermen, the ward or something.
• 22:16
We was over there, food. It was cool, you know, it was nothing.
• 22:21
It was nothing that popped out. But we didn't go to anything like special or anything like that. Like, you know, we didn't go to like a signature restaurant or a food spot.
• 22:33
We went to like a commercial spot that.
• 22:36
A commercial chain restaurant. So I can't really knock them for the food or anything like that. We did get the pass Kendall candle, candlestick.
• 22:45
We saw the new joint and we saw the.
• 22:51
Did we see. Did we get to see Golden State?
• 22:53
  I'm not sure.
• 22:55
I'm not sure if we got to see the Golden State Arena. I know we got to see the Giants Stadium.
• 23:02
So shout out to San Fran, man. I would definitely, I would. Yeah. San Fran, that's a quick little hour flight. And I remember we got there one time. We flew there. We got there like almost 15, 20 minutes early. N. You know, I didn't even know there's a such thing as speeding in the air. That nigga was.
• 23:20
That nigga was floating. So yeah, that's just a quick trip to, you know, up north that I like shout out to San Fran. I'll do that one. Washington D.C. i have been to Washington D.C. i went on a. It was a church trip actually, where the younger kids actually got to go inside the White House. I didn't, but I did it. I ended up going to a mall. We got. We caught a bus and a train to one of the malls out there. That was my first time experiencing like humidity and 85 degrees and it was raining at the Same time now. We stayed in Alexandria, Virginia, but we did get to experience Baltimore Bay. I went to Benz Chile.
• 24:06
That was dope. Bench Chili. I was able to go inside the Capitol.
• 24:12
I was able to go inside the. I forgot. I don't know if it's called the Treasure or something. I saw $10 million in this square see through cube thing that was locked. They would. They just tease people with it. Basically. I went to go see where they make. Where they print up money.
• 24:29
We got to see. We got to visit Howard University. I had a tour on Howard University, the. The infamous promenade, if y' all know what I'm talking about. If you know, you know, I got to see Step Foot on a. They gym, they basketball, they. They court and a football field.
• 24:50
That's what. And then I came right back and went, Matt. And when two. I'm not two K. When NCAA came out, who you think I. Who you think I created? I create. I created Howard. Howard Bison's or whatever. So shout out to.
• 25:04
Shout out to D.C. man, they. I mean, they. Then they never lie. Remember they used to tell you back in the day that the White House is right behind the hood, that they is not. I mean, or the hood is right behind the White House. They not lying. They not. But you can't go near that, though. They got walking around with some. That I ain't seen on TV and in the movies.
• 25:26
They got some armed just walking around on them steps, on the sidewalk, in the streets is walking around ready for that action.
• 25:36
  So shout out to D.C.
• 25:39
next one. Number nine, Boston. I have not been there, but I do want to go for two reasons. Two reasons and two reasons only.
• 25:46
I want to go to Boston just to go to a popping bar. Because cities like Cleveland and Boston and there's a couple other other places that their sports history is rich, you know, like, they really, really what they fuck with the Celtics. They love. I hate both. Like, I hate Boston Celtics. I hate the fucking New England Patriots. I hate everything about Boston. I like the baked beans. I like New Edition.
• 26:21
But I hate everything else. Oh, and what you call it? Movie.
• 26:29
I can't think of the movie right now. Wouldn't be afflac. Y' all know what I'm talking about. One of the best movies. Oh, that movie was so good.
• 26:36
  Outside of that.
• 26:38
Outside of that. Boston. But I do want to go, though. I have to go. That's on my bucket list.
• 26:44
The town. That's what it is. The town is. That's a great movie, by the way. The town.
• 26:52
So I want to go to a bar while we are watching a Lakers vs. Celtics game or when they playing somebody else, it don't matter. But I want to go to a bar. Then I want to go the Boston Marathon.
• 27:06
I want to do the Boston Marathon.
• 27:09
So yeah, shout out to Boston, man. Oh, and Benzino used to be my neighbor too. I know, that's random.
• 27:16
San Diego is at number 10.
• 27:20
That is, that's in the same vein as it's in between.
• 27:27
My feelings for San Diego is in between San Fran and Vegas.
• 27:32
Like again, I can never go back to Vegas and be fine with it. I love going to San Fran.
• 27:38
So you put those emotions together there you go with San Diego. San Diego, great food.
• 27:46
Although you have to find it though because they got us, they got some places out there. Like we had some of the driest enchiladas I've ever had. Chicken enchiladas I'm talking about. It was bad.
• 27:58
So not every spot is hidden like that. But they do got some good food out there. It's expensive. And the freeways look crazy.
• 28:05
No, the freeways look like go make you some spaghetti and twirl it up with your fork. That's how they freeways are. That shit is crazy, man. But is you can see why older people like to retire out there, you know. I know, I know L. A is up there, I know Vegas is up there. But San Diego is one of those top places where niggas want to retire, you know what I'm saying? And to me is more of a college thing anyway. Because there's nothing else to do but to go to the beach, relax, chill, eat. And then obviously you got San Diego State, you know, so. And the pot, you know, everything about them. I, I never like the char. First of all, the Chargers got one of the best fan bases in San Diego. But them, the Padres, the Giants, all, them, all them from between San Fran and, and, and, and, and, and San Diego, we don't with them at, at all. Especially when it comes to football and baseball.
• 29:06
But shout out, shout out to San Diego and it's only like a two hour drive from where I'm at. That's it. It ain't really, it's not really nothing, but it's beautiful out there, is extremely. We've been to a beach out there recently and you know, I, I have, I have, my dad, my oldest, you know, he had his girl out there and we were just chilling. We just laid back on the sand and we were just, just chilling. I had a street dog and, and it was popping too. Like that weekend at the beach. It was just randomly just. Nigga, it was just popping. But yeah, that's San Diego. Go if you want. You know, to me, you go to San Diego, you just going to chill.
• 29:45
You know, all that hyper shit that y' all niggas be getting into. I don't think that's San Diego. I don't think. I don't think that's for you.
• 29:51
  Number 11, New Orleans.
• 29:55
  Never been there.
• 29:57
Couple of times. He's supposed to go. We never did. We do want to go and we just want to go for the food. I want to go for the food and I just want to hear the accents. I want to hear me. I want to give me some Ben Y. Give me some. Some bag nags. Give me some bag nags. Give me some gumbo and everything else. I'm staying away from the alcohol. I'm staying away from. If these got. I'm staying away from the voodoo artist. I'm staying away from all that. Just give me the food, talk to me a little bit, you know what I'm saying? And then that's it. That. Because. And shout out to go D. You know what I'm saying? But I'm not going to none of the. You know, I just. I just want to go. I just want to go. Give me some food. Mike. Dude, we. I was supposed to go for the Black Expo. We had a. I think we had a reunion out there. I missed both. I miss both. But that's on the list. That's. That's high up there with New York, see what's next. Seattle. I have not been to Seattle. I heard it's stupid green up there. Water is pretty.
• 30:58
They got. I heard they got one of the best Starbucks in the world out there. Not that I'm a Starbucks person, but I think. I think they have one of the best Starbucks out there. That's what my wife said. Because my wife went out there because my daughter had a gymnastics event out there and she said it was dope. It was dope. So shout out to Seattle. Seattle is up there. But it's like not. Not high up there. But I do want to go to Seattle and just chill for like maybe three or four days or something like that.
• 31:30
And they need some. They. They need some sun up there. They definitely need some sun up there. Because I've heard that the, the, the. The. The fucking. What you call it is. Is crazy up there. The suicide rate at one point. It's crazy because ain't them get a lot of rain. It's gray, it's ugly and is just. Y' all need some vitamin. I know.
• 31:49
  Number 13, Denver.
• 31:54
I'd rather go to Aspen for the snow.
• 31:59
I've heard people that do do like the. The snowboarding to go to Colorado for that, but Denver itself, I don't. Yeah, I mean, I'll go just to say I've been to Denver, but that's at the bottom of the list for me to go to. Again, my disclaimer in the beginning of the episode. I want to visit all these places at least once.
• 32:23
But once I get there, it would have to be something to happen for me to be like, I can come here often. I can put this on the list of going back and forth, you know what I'm saying? Kind of like San Fran, right? But outside of that, I don't really have any. I'm not eager to get to Denver at all.
• 32:44
But except for like a vacation spot in the snow, that's it.
• 32:48
  Philly.
• 32:51
This is Philly and Denver, right? I'm glad they put those back to back.
• 32:57
They have an actual statue of a real champion outside of like right around the corner of a real boxing champion. Okay yet. And still niggas is running up those stairs to see Rocky. I ain't gonna lie. I'm gonna do the same thing, but I'm gonna take pictures with both. But I gotta run. I gotta do the tourist thing. When it come to Philly, I'm gonna do the. I'm gonna do the. The corny thing, which is go get me a Philly cheesesteak. And then my. Outside of that, I'm not sure. Unless I go and see the Roost picnic, I don't know what the purpose of me going to Philly for.
• 33:33
  I don't. But I'll go.
• 33:35
I'll go just to say I went to Philly. You know what I mean? Like, I. I don't know anything else. I all. And I always ask people that's from, you know, wherever they from, like, yo, what do I need to go to? You know, and some. And I can understand how that could be difficult or whatever, because when people ask me when they come to la, they'd be like, what, you know, what should I do? And the thing is, it's so much shit to do out here and I don't know your interest, so I really don't know. Just do it. I don't know, just go to the beach or some shit. I don't know.
• 34:08
So Philly, again, I will go there once and then Let me see what y' all got that'll keep me, you know, coming back, you know, and. And Philly. The past couple of years hasn't been a desired place for me at all. Y' all niggas is. And it's dangerous everywhere. But y' all have been viral dangerous for the past couple of years and it's been looking ugly and I'm not trying to be around all that bullshit.
• 34:36
Next one is Phoenix. I've been to Phoenix. I've been to Phoenix a couple of times. I've driven to Phoenix both times.
• 34:44
Next time I go to Phoenix, I'm flying. But I want to pair Phoenix with Scottsdale because they right next to each other. And the first time was actually during the pandemic time.
• 34:57
And so we really couldn't do much outside in the community because it was still kind of. Still kind of shut down.
• 35:06
Hot in a. So this is where I'm bringing Vegas back. Because Vegas and Phoenix. Oh my God, nigga.
• 35:13
Desert. Desert. For desert. Oh my God, nigga. Phoenix heat is crazy.
• 35:21
But then again, like I said, I've been in my top five hottest places.
• 35:27
Phoenix is up there. But Phoenix might not be number one. But Phoenix is up there.
• 35:33
Phoenix. Because Phoenix has gone viral before for cooking eggs on a rock out there in Phoenix.
• 35:41
But the Airbnbs that we both had, they stay booked. Pretty peaceful, beautiful, like nice cozy. The neighborhoods look cool. They get. But they also got their crackheads and out there. And they. And they out there too. Crackheads in the heat that don't mix. But they energy is down though. It's hot than a out there in the summertime. Woo. We talking about triple digits and we're not just talking like 106s and like that. Like I told you in Vegas they had some 111s, 115s and like that. And then in. In. In Phoenix they got the same thing. I mean I was out there. The first time was for the 4th of July and then the second time was for our anniversary, which was in August. It was in August. Not of this year, but in recent years it was in August. So those are all hot months.
• 36:32
July and August. Hot, hot daddy hot.
• 36:36
  Yeah. So it's beautiful though.
• 36:40
Scottsdale right there. They got some beautiful ass homes out there. They neighborhoods is top tier. Beautiful dog.
• 36:50
  So shout out to Phoenix.
• 36:53
Let's see the next one is Dallas. Have not been to Dallas. I have not.
• 36:58
And technically, yeah, no, I haven't been to Dallas. And I do want to go to Dallas and I would just want to Go to Dallas for the food.
• 37:05
  That's it.
• 37:07
I just want to go to Dallas for the food. I heard the food is good in Dallas, and I go to Jerry's World. Fuck, it. Might as well. I mean, at this point, when that nigga, you know, when he gone, it's gonna be a fucking landmark. So the way they love football out there, I want to go to Dallas.
• 37:21
I want to go to a high school football game out there. I want to eat. Yeah. Now, Marcy been to Dallas because another gymnastics tournament was out there last year. So she's been to Dallas and Seattle without me.
• 37:35
So, yeah, I got Dallas on there. Dallas is not. Dallas is, like, on, like, mid tier of the list, definitely above Denver and Philly.
• 37:45
Houston have not been to Houston, but at the time of this recording, shout out to 12 cal. I will. We will be in Houston in 2028, the year of when, you know, when. When the Olympics come here. We're going to.
• 38:03
We're going to Houston just before the Olympics pop off.
• 38:08
Yeah, just before it pops off, we'll be in H town for another family reunion.
• 38:16
I'm gonna be honest with you. After my Ghana experience at the strip club, I really don't have any.
• 38:23
I don't have any interest on going to a strip club in the popular cities because we overprice everything.
• 38:33
  We overprice everything they expect.
• 38:35
  I don't. I'm not. I'm not into wasting bans.
• 38:39
  American dollars. I'm not.
• 38:42
So there's no point in me going to.
• 38:45
Which we'll probably get to with Atlanta and in Houston, when it comes to the strip clubs, I'm not going to come close to James Harden Jersey in Houston.
• 38:56
So there's no point. I won't be able to get to full effect.
• 39:00
But the food. I'm there. I'm definitely there for the food.
• 39:04
And, you know, they said they got some big voluptuous women are walking around. Me and Marcy gonna be staring. So we gonna go for that. You know, we just gonna be staring at them. But outside of that, I'm not staying in Texas too long. Whether it goes. Whether it's Houston or Dallas. Cause y' all don't run nothing.
• 39:22
No, no, they. They. They'll cut y' all now. Yeah, they'll cut y' all water off, and they'll cut y' all power off. I ain't with y'. All.
• 39:30
I'm not. I'm not staying too long. But I do want the food, though. I do want the food, and I do wanna my eye Candy will be on fleek. The next one is Nashville. I actually have been in Nashville and shout out to another family reunion. Nashville was dope. They had a Waffle House out there. And I could see all the people from Atlanta and, and all those other places saying it ain't the real ones. Well, that's between y'. All.
• 39:59
We took a visit there. It was, I, it wasn't ghetto or nothing like that. It was just high, you know what I'm saying? I do want to go back to another Waffle House.
• 40:09
But we did visit a. I think it's called Broad Street. Broadway street, dope. So kind of like Memphis. I've never been to Memphis. And they got a street called Beale Street.
• 40:21
Just like we might have la. We'll have Sunset.
• 40:25
We'll have Sunset. That so Broadway, Bill Street, Sunset. Kind of like the same thing where you got the nightlife, you got niggas outside. Like on Sunset you're gonna have the comedy clubs, you're gonna have strip club stores, you know, you know, just, just LA shit, you know what I mean? Like just on Sunset High Class, you're gonna see some celebrities running in and out of places and it's going to be traffic jam and shit like that because people just circling around and coming back and stuff like that. I mean, it may have changed now because like, you know, times have changed, but Sunset was that. So Broadway was another one of those. We had Bailey with us.
• 41:10
We had, we basically, we had our kids with us so we couldn't go in these like different bars. And you, you bar hop in Tennessee in Nashville. And they was rocking.
• 41:23
When I tell you they was rocking, nigga, I'm talking about live bands. The food looked like it was good.
• 41:30
The people were just walking up. We got to see the Tennessee Titans Stadium.
• 41:35
I did hoop out there in Nashville. I did hoop out there. I went to a fish spot out there. Shout out.
• 41:41
We took a visit at Tennessee State. We saw Vanderbilt.
• 41:45
So Nashville is cool. I think outside of the racial politics, which we didn't run into.
• 41:53
That would be my. Oh, we did hear some weird ass noises coming from, you know, this area with a lot of trees and bushes and shit like that. It was some noises, nigga. I don't know what the fuck it was. But we didn't go see. We didn't Scooby do it at all.
• 42:08
But I would definitely go back to Nashville for the food. And Broadway, I would go to Broadway Street.
• 42:16
All right, we about to close it up in a minute. 19. San Antonio. San Antonio is any Anywhere in between fucking Denver and Philly. I don't know what the hell I will go to San Antonio for, but I will go just to say that I've been to San Antonio. You know, every time I think of San Antonio, I think of Charles Barkley.
• 42:39
So if y' all know what that means, then. Yeah, but I don't really, you know, San Antonio. My Raiders almost moved there. I think we just. I think. I think we did the whole Kobe to Chicago pump fake. I think we was just telling the league, hey, nigga, we gonna go to San Antonio. If y' all don't get us a motherfucking state of the art stadium in Las Vegas. Like I said, yeah, I'll just go to San Antonio just to go. Matter of fact, on my way to Houston, let me just stop at San Antonio for like a day and then that's it, you know? Unless it keeps me coming back. Then, you know, it's like. Like I said, it's the same thing.
• 43:16
  Number 20, Honolulu.
• 43:19
I have. So here's the thing. I've been to Hawaii twice, but I've been to two different islands. I've been Waikiki, where Honolulu is at.
• 43:29
Been there with the family. That was dope.
• 43:33
And they tell you to take about three hours to go around the whole island.
• 43:37
Hawaii is dumb expensive. Then we went to the Big Island.
• 43:41
I don't know if it was the next year or the year after, something like that. We've been to the Big Island. I got to drive across the Big Island. I got a whole episode about that. Y' all gotta go find that shit.
• 43:51
But at the time of this recording, within another two weeks, maybe two and a half, three weeks or something like that, I'll be headed back for work. I'll be headed back to Honolulu for work. It's a work vacation, I should say. I work vacation. So I'll be going back to. We'll be going back to Honolulu. So shout out, shout out Honolulu again, y', all. If y' all ever go to Hawaii, just know this. Get you a spot that has a kitchen, please. Unless you got the money like that, and you probably do. I mean, I. They. They claim that I'm one of the top, richest, wealthiest podcasters, and I am. But it's undisclosed information about what I bring in. Dolomite chain lets you know his net worth alone. And then we already know. 12 count has private this, private that. You know what I'm saying? Whether it's airport, listen, I hang around, I kick it, I talk to wealthy niggas. You know what I'm saying? Some might be wealthier than me. Somebody. Some might be as wealthy as me. But you know, when it comes to Hawaii is pretty expensive.
• 45:04
So if you not want to know, go ahead and get you an Airbnb or a room with a kitchen, because the food is expensive regardless. So you might as well buy expensive groceries, nigga, and get. And get the shit that's going to last. Get you some oatmeal, get you some pancakes, get you some grits, okay? Get you some. Some shit that's going to stick to your rib. Get you some bread, milk, eggs, you know, I'm saying, get your protein sauces, bacon, whatever the case.
• 45:38
But you don't need that because that McDonald's that's over there making a killing, they got to make several billion dollars. You got to remember the food is important. So they making so much money, dog, because people come out there and don't realize that a gallon of milk would be like, at that time, nigga, that shit like six, seven dollars.
• 45:59
You know what I'm saying? So they got the ABC store out there. It's gonna get you. It's gonna get you.
• 46:06
So be aware of that. Go get you. Remember Bailey told you, you go to Hawaii, make sure you get a kitchen. Make sure you get a kitchen. And you know how to cook. Because, my nigga, you gonna be packing your ass on lunch for sure.
• 46:19
So shout out to Hawaii. I can see why that's one of the top destinations to retire to. Even though they do have a few little gangs out there. They not. They, they some of the most. I don't want to say it like that, but they way more polite than. Than the games we got out here. It's so pretty out there in Hawaii. Like, why is getting mad in Hawaii? Baffles me? I don't know why. It's just. It's pure, relaxed luxury out there. My.
• 46:48
It is. You know, you have a random ass turtle roll up on you if you own a shore. You know, man, that water is. It feels good. You just got to wear swimming shoes, though, because the lava, you know, that shit hurt. We learned the hard way them rocks and lavas that's in that water. Hell no, nigga. Hell no. And it might be some, some, some, some turtles or some random ass weird fishes in that water.
• 47:16
Be careful, Be careful. You only get bit by a turtle.
• 47:20
That's Hawaii at 20, 21. Here we go. Atlanta.
• 47:25
Atlanta. I just told you about the strip club. Don't care for it, but I do want to go Just to say that I went, Atlanta is the black Mecca. They said, you know, right there next to D.C. d.C. There. I remember going to D.C. they was like, nigga, they 701 chocolate city. Oh, I don't know why anybody wouldn't want to go to D.C. they get Chocolate City. That's where they at. D.C. atlanta, y' all got some of the. Y' all got some.
• 47:55
I know D.C. is. Is known for comedy as well as Chicago. Great comedians that come from those spaces over there. Atlanta is up there. Music, obviously, it's just, you know, we got a black. We got a black Beverly Hills out there. But they said they got a black Beverly Hills.
• 48:13
Black, black, blackity black. I may not understand some of the locals and shit like that, but I want to go. I want to go visit Bankhead. I don't know if I want to go visit Bankhead because I want to go or if I just want to say I've been a Bank. Bankhead. Now, I have been in Atlanta, but it's the same thing as New York. It was just the airport, and it was a layover about nine hours, and it was on the way back. Worst airport of all time.
• 48:38
  Top one, one of one.
• 48:41
If I hate Atlanta airport, I went to Fridays. We got some Fridays food. You know, they did have a Dunkin Donuts back there. I think they was cleaning up or whatever. I loved it. I loved how they was just back. They probably was listening to some TI Or Jeezy or whatever while they was cleaning up hood shit.
• 49:04
Yeah, I don't like how. Nigga, I've seen. It was like the Walking Dead in that motherfucking airport when we came back from Ghana. No, no, this was coming back from Jamaica. My bad. We was coming back from Jamaica.
• 49:17
We had a layover to Jamaica from. From Atlanta and a layover from Jamaica.
• 49:23
In Atlanta. In Atlanta. And both times were just terrible. Cause we had to spend a night. I had to spend a night in Atlanta airport. When I found out that Be honest was only.
• 49:34
Be honest, hit me up and said, I'm not that far away, bro. You could have called me. You could have slept here and got back to it or whatever. Nigga.
• 49:44
  Nigga, what?
• 49:46
12 cab? No, no. The worst airport of all time. And I. And this is coming from a person that flies out of LAX all the time. And we know how big LAX and Tom Bradley is. Tom Bradley, the whole new hood next to lax.
• 50:03
But Atlanta, nigga, I had to sleep. You saw. I got.
• 50:08
I got the documents, nigga. I got an episode about how bad Atlanta Airport is? Nigga, I didn't. Nigga, I didn't even know that airports closed, bro. Yeah, maybe the Ontario one, the, the, the, the John Bradley one up here and in O.C. but, nigga, an airport as important as Atlanta shutting down was sleeping on tables, finding benches and, and, and they was putting together 12 cow was sleeping in the corners of windows.
• 50:43
They were sure using that, that, that, that club, you know what I'm saying? Like in there, trying to take showers. It was bad. I've seen people crying white. It was white people. They was crying like. I had to call off of work one day because I didn't get back till later on that day.
• 51:04
It was bad. When we flew back from Atlanta, we couldn't even fly directly back into LA or Ontario. We had to fly into San Diego and drive from San Diego back to. And I had to drive from San Diego to my crib and then to la.
• 51:23
  What?
• 51:24
That's three and a half hours of driving right there, bucko.
• 51:29
But yeah, that, that, that right there, that's it. Atlanta. Yes. I want to go. Let me go. I'll go, I'll go. Atlanta is up there. It's right under New York and New Orleans for me. Yeah, right under there, but Atlanta's up there. Next one is Austin. I'm assuming they talking about Austin, Texas. I have no reason to go to Austin, Texas.
• 51:50
Zero. Just to say I went to Austin, Texas. I don't know any highlights of Austin, Texas. I don't know outside of. I think Drake is from Austin, Texas. I'm talking about Mr. D713. Everything. Culture. I think outside of that, no. I wouldn't even know why they put this on the list.
• 52:11
Tell you the truth, I don't know what. There's so many other cities to highlight than Austin, Texas. But if Austin, Texas, just like these other places, the Denver's in the Phillies. If y' all could show me why it's worth going and, and then coming back, then I'll stand corrected. But as. As for now, I'm not sure why you made the list. 23. Tampa.
• 52:36
  Tampa.
• 52:39
Probably just to go to the Buccaneers Stadium.
• 52:42
Outside of that, I don't know why I will go to Tampa.
• 52:46
I'll probably go in this order, go back to Miami again, Orlando and then Tampa. I put it to you like that. So I don't mind going, but I don't know the reason to go outside of going to catch a Tampa Bay buccaneers football game.
• 53:01
  24. San Jose.
• 53:05
No, I mean outsider. I don't. It's like, to me, it's just like I said, Miami, Orlando, Tampa. To me, it would be San Fran, Oakland, San Jose, in that order.
• 53:20
I don't know why I would go to San Jose outside of maybe if UCLA was playing San Jose State, if there was a.
• 53:31
I don't know if there was a tournament. You know what I'm saying? If the March Madness tournament was in San Jose State and we was won, maybe. I don't know.
• 53:40
I don't know. So, yeah, y' all niggas fall into that. Denver, Philly, Austin, that. Yeah.
• 53:46
And then the last one we finally got here, people. Minneapolis. Minneapolis.
• 53:54
Yes, yes. Just from all of America. And go pass by Prince house. If I'm able to go inside Prince house, I'm definitely going to Prince. If I'm able to go inside, they say, yeah, we got tickets. We. We're going on a tour inside Prince establishment. You are locked in the go. I'm definitely going in there with my MJ shirt. I'm for sure doing it. My nigga. If I could find a jacket, I'm wearing the jacket. And where the fuck is being conditioned? I want to meet you niggas. Okay, but outside of that, keep my ass in that mall, because they said that mall is somewhat similar to going to Disney World. You know, I'm a. Need a couple of days, and I'll be staying at that motherfucking hotel because I'm not a. I want to. So I want to get lost. I just. What I want to do. I want to. I want to lock my kids in a room or whatever after taking them to the mall. And then I want me and Marcy to go to the mall off of Edible and just walk around and get lost and then have to find our way back. That's. That's my goal. Outside of that, if we never go get to see Prince House, that's cool or whatever, but let me.
• 55:05
Let me go and. And. And. And. And get lost in the mall and shit like that. You know what I'm saying? I just want to see. I just want to see. That's it. So it's not at the top of the list based off the name, but because of what the attraction is, then, okay, it's up there. It's up there. It's just the thing is, nigga, again, that's it. Up there with New York, with Chicago, when it's cold, we not.
• 55:31
We not. We don't have clothes for that.
• 55:35
  We don't have.
• 55:36
We didn't have clothes. It's easier for Us to have clothes for hot weather, because that's what we used to. So we adapted to Miami real quick, adapting to the cold. Y' all got a different type of garments out there that I don't want to purchase. I don't wanna. Because they say don't bring your jacket. Buy a jacket out here. You know, that's just extra that we gotta buy. No. I don't know. No, no.
• 56:00
But again, going back to the disclaimer in the beginning of this episode, all 25 places, the ones I did not. So let me see. Let me see the total. If I had to add them up, I think I added it up. And I've been to. So out of the 25, I've been to 12.
• 56:15
  It's almost half, right?
• 56:18
So I've been to half of the places. The other half that I haven't been to, I'm willing to go to. And y' all have to, while I'm there, show me a good time.
• 56:26
Show me a good time. And then I. Then I'll come back and then we'll have to do a whole nother show of, you know, it might sound like disrespect, you might take it as disrespect, but it's all jokes at the end of the day. Again, I. I don't. I've never heard of Austin, Texas, being in the. The tabloids for anything dope. You know what I mean? Like, I hear about Houston, so I know why want to go to Houston. I've heard about Dallas, so I know why want to go to Dallas. But even with Philly, I know a lot of New Yorkers move to Philly, you know, so it's like, I need to know where I can go, what to do before I say I want to go out there, because I don't want to be out there, and I'm stuck, and there's just nothing to do. That's stupid. You know how many people that moved to LA and they moved to a certain spot and there's nothing popping? It's like, damn, this is what LA is. No, stupid. You just got to go to the popping spots.

If anybody want to do a top 25 places that you don't, you do not want to go, you don't want to go to, even if you have been there already. You again, Y'. All. Y' all know my feelings about Vegas again. I didn't been here so many times. There's nothing for me to accomplish at the end of the day. So shout out.

I might want to do an international list. Hold up. And. Oh, one thing I want to say about Hawaii. Hawaii feels like an international visit. It. It don't even feel like I was it. It was supposed to be on his list, but we're gonna have to run him back, because I'm gonna do the top 25 places outside of the country. You know what I'm saying? So we'll do that one 12 gal shout out.
