Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome back to the Intel with Greg Cosell. I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher with Adam Kaplan, and of course we have
- 0:12Speaker 1: Greg Cosell. As we continue to preview the twenty twenty
- 0:17Speaker 1: six NFL Draft and break down each of the prospects
- 0:21Speaker 1: by their positions, and today we get to talk about
- 0:24Speaker 1: wide receiver.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Greg.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's always people love wide receivers. They love watching them
- 0:28Speaker 1: run the forty at the combine. They love figuring out
- 0:31Speaker 1: who's gonna be the next Jamar Chase or Justin Jefferson.
- 0:34Speaker 1: These are guys who truly can change the game if
- 0:36Speaker 1: you really hit on one. But we also know every
- 0:39Speaker 1: year the class can either be a great class, a
- 0:41Speaker 1: medium class, an okay class, top heavy, bottom heavy.
- 0:44Speaker 3: What stood out about this year's wide receiver class.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I think it's it's deep. I don't think there are
- 0:51Speaker 2: any Jamar Chases in this class, which by the way,
- 0:53Speaker 2: does not mean that they won't be three or four
- 0:55Speaker 2: receivers taken in the first round because you have to
- 0:58Speaker 2: draft so that will be the case. And we also
- 1:01Speaker 2: live in a world guys in the NFL where depending
- 1:04Speaker 2: on what team you go to, any number of these
- 1:07Speaker 2: guys could end up being volume, targets and catch a
- 1:09Speaker 2: lot of balls. That doesn't mean they're Jamar Chase or
- 1:12Speaker 2: Justin Jefferson, you know, or even Puka Nakua, who's a
- 1:15Speaker 2: very interesting player. You know, Another time for another discussion.
- 1:18Speaker 2: But so they'll be receivers drafted high. But I think
- 1:23Speaker 2: it's going to be in the eye of the beholder.
- 1:25Speaker 2: And that's why you hear a lot about this draft
- 1:28Speaker 2: class being polarizing because there's there's a lot of good
- 1:31Speaker 2: players and if they're deployed, you know, it all depends
- 1:35Speaker 2: on how they're deployed within any given offense as to
- 1:38Speaker 2: what they're going to be in terms of volume and
- 1:41Speaker 2: then receptions.
- 1:43Speaker 4: And also Greg, I would say this from talking receivers
- 1:45Speaker 4: coaches over the years, it's also about what the expectations are.
- 1:50Speaker 4: If you're first some pick obviously going to play early, right,
- 1:53Speaker 4: and then they're guys.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Sometimes it takes.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Longer because you're having to learn a new offense, you're
- 1:59Speaker 4: being coached by eyes you've not worked with before, and
- 2:02Speaker 4: sometimes it takes longer. And I think patience, man, if
- 2:05Speaker 4: the staff gets to stick around for a while, Jeff
- 2:07Speaker 4: as we sent it back to you, guys who are
- 2:09Speaker 4: going a third day can be developed, and there are
- 2:11Speaker 4: a number of the third day receivers that have been
- 2:13Speaker 4: developed over the years.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And you have to then understand when you draft, or
- 2:17Speaker 2: even if you draft a receiver in this class in
- 2:19Speaker 2: the top ten or top fifteen, because he's not necessarily
- 2:23Speaker 2: special in his overall traits, then you have to decide
- 2:27Speaker 2: how he best can be deployed. You have to decide
- 2:29Speaker 2: what he is. You know, I was talking to someone
- 2:32Speaker 2: and we were talking about DeVonta Smith of the Eagles, obviously,
- 2:36Speaker 2: and we were both agreeing that if he was in
- 2:37Speaker 2: this draft, guys, he'd be the number one receiver, you know,
- 2:41Speaker 2: So you know, I think you have to understand what
- 2:44Speaker 2: the receivers are that you're drafting. And like I said,
- 2:47Speaker 2: that doesn't mean that there aren't going to be guys
- 2:49Speaker 2: who come in and catch a lot of balls and
- 2:51Speaker 2: then people say, well, they're great. But you know, there's
- 2:54Speaker 2: a difference between what a guy actually is and how
- 2:57Speaker 2: he then is deployed in an offense where he can
- 2:59Speaker 2: have a nice reduction.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Hright, Let's get to some of the names. Let's talk
- 3:03Speaker 3: about Jordan Tyson from Arizona State.
- 3:06Speaker 2: What Jordan Tyson has to face, which has nothing to
- 3:08Speaker 2: do with his traits and attributes. Is the injury factor.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I think with Tyson, I kind of like Tyson. I
- 3:15Speaker 2: think you're dealing with a receiver that has a short
- 3:17Speaker 2: area of quickness and burst. I don't think he's a
- 3:20Speaker 2: guy that's necessarily going to win over the top of
- 3:23Speaker 2: corners at the NFL level where I think he was
- 3:26Speaker 2: really effective, and I think he's calculatingly efficient in this
- 3:29Speaker 2: regard because he wins off the ball versus press, He
- 3:32Speaker 2: creates space and separation. He understands how to attack leverage
- 3:36Speaker 2: of corners with his stem, and he's got a very
- 3:40Speaker 2: sort of an innate feel for breaking down corners techniques.
- 3:44Speaker 2: The big question that a lot of coaches have is
- 3:47Speaker 2: where do you play these guys? Is he a boundary
- 3:49Speaker 2: X at the next level. I don't quite see him
- 3:52Speaker 2: that way. I think he's more of a movement Z
- 3:55Speaker 2: slash slot who can be deployed with a lot of
- 3:58Speaker 2: pre SNAM movement. But the one thing that didn't show
- 4:02Speaker 2: up on tape was there was not really a lot
- 4:04Speaker 2: of run after catch with him. But I think he
- 4:06Speaker 2: knows how to run routes. I think he knows how
- 4:08Speaker 2: to separate.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Great.
- 4:10Speaker 4: The next guy is could quite very well go be
- 4:15Speaker 4: the first guy off the board at the receiver position.
- 4:17Speaker 4: That's Carnell tape from Ohio State talk about if you can, Hey,
- 4:20Speaker 4: how does he fit in the next level, because you
- 4:22Speaker 4: were just talking about that with Tyson, whether he's an
- 4:24Speaker 4: X or not.
- 4:26Speaker 5: But what are your thoughts on him?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Carneal Tayate, I watched him last summer and then
- 4:31Speaker 2: I watched him this year. I actually thought he looked
- 4:33Speaker 2: this year a little quicker and faster than he did
- 4:36Speaker 2: in twenty twenty four, and therefore he was more of
- 4:39Speaker 2: a vertical dimension in college this year in twenty twenty
- 4:42Speaker 2: five than he was in twenty twenty four. And he's
- 4:45Speaker 2: got you know, he didn't run well at the combine,
- 4:49Speaker 2: but he plays faster than his I guess four or
- 4:51Speaker 2: five three official time. He's got stride length because he's
- 4:56Speaker 2: over six to two. You know, I think he's a
- 4:59Speaker 2: deceptive stride who at times got on top of corners.
- 5:02Speaker 2: And if you feel he can do that at the
- 5:05Speaker 2: next level, and I think there's a question about that.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'm not saying he can't. He may. He may well
- 5:11Speaker 2: be able to, But I think you have to decide
- 5:14Speaker 2: that because that would elevate his projection at him. That
- 5:17Speaker 2: would make you think that possibly could he be a
- 5:19Speaker 2: boundary X if he can do that. He's a straight
- 5:24Speaker 2: line strider, and I think he's at his best running
- 5:26Speaker 2: those kinds of routes you know, slants, go routes, post routes,
- 5:30Speaker 2: over routes, crossers. These are kind of what we call
- 5:33Speaker 2: roll over speedcut type routes. You know, he's not a
- 5:36Speaker 2: sink your hips kind of receiver. I would bet there'll
- 5:39Speaker 2: be some teams that think he could be that boundary
- 5:42Speaker 2: X and other teams that will see him as more
- 5:45Speaker 2: of a two. You know, he's got very good hands,
- 5:48Speaker 2: he's got strong receiving skills, and like I said, I
- 5:50Speaker 2: think the question which could be answered differently by different
- 5:54Speaker 2: teams is whether you see him as a guy that
- 5:56Speaker 2: can win over the top at the NFL level.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's what I have to ask when you're watching tape
- 6:02Speaker 1: of Carnel Tait, and of course, his teammate might be
- 6:04Speaker 1: the top pick in the draft next year. Jeremiah Smith, Uh,
- 6:08Speaker 1: do you notice a contrast with them both on the
- 6:10Speaker 1: field and how they're how they're used deployed in their
- 6:13Speaker 1: skill sets.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You know, I didn't study Smith. Smith is bigger. I
- 6:17Speaker 2: got to meet Jeremiah Smith in a Maxwell dinner in
- 6:19Speaker 2: Atlanta a couple of years ago when when he was
- 6:21Speaker 2: coming out and first going to Ohio State. He's a
- 6:24Speaker 2: legit six three Jeremiah Smith. He is big and he can.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You know, he's just a smoother athlete. I mean you
- 6:31Speaker 2: know that you notice immediately you know Tates, Tates, you know,
- 6:35Speaker 2: relatively smooth. But he's He's not like Smith. But I
- 6:39Speaker 2: would say that, you know, Tate's one of those guys
- 6:42Speaker 2: that has, you know, a detailed sense of route running.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I mean, he understands pace, he understands tempo. Again, I
- 6:48Speaker 2: think he's a very good receiving prospect. You know. The
- 6:52Speaker 2: one thing that he did not do very well is
- 6:54Speaker 2: he did not, you know, really have run after catch.
- 6:58Speaker 2: If you go by rankings, you know a lot of
- 7:00Speaker 2: people there's metrics for all this. I mean he ran
- 7:03Speaker 2: two hundred and twenty fourth and run after catch yardy
- 7:06Speaker 2: to ball Ryder College Football. So he didn't really show
- 7:09Speaker 2: that element to his game.
- 7:11Speaker 3: M interesting.
- 7:13Speaker 1: All right, Let's move on to another wide receiver who
- 7:16Speaker 1: gets got a lot of attention this year. Indiana's Omar
- 7:19Speaker 1: Cooper certainly came up with some pretty big catches I
- 7:22Speaker 1: can think of.
- 7:22Speaker 2: One was that that might have been the one against
- 7:26Speaker 2: Penn State.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Huh, Yes, it was the one. Again, there's no mite
- 7:28Speaker 3: about it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I was just trying to remember that, you know. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 2: he's he's another guy that he's your classic case. You know,
- 7:40Speaker 2: we joke about this all the time while he's moving
- 7:42Speaker 2: up draft boards. I guess he's playing a lot of
- 7:44Speaker 2: football the last month or two.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess we've been missing
- 7:51Speaker 6: all the football he's been playing in the last month.
- 7:56Speaker 6: I mean, this guy is He's got a natural quickness
- 7:58Speaker 6: to his movement, both of the route runner and run
- 8:00Speaker 6: after catch. He's a very fluid athlete, moves very easily.
- 8:05Speaker 6: I think one thing that stands out is how seamless
- 8:08Speaker 6: his transition is from receiver to run after catch, very
- 8:11Speaker 6: easy acceleration.
- 8:14Speaker 2: You know, the Indiana offense was a fascinating offense because
- 8:18Speaker 2: it was very RPO based, and in the context of
- 8:22Speaker 2: that offense, he ran a limited number of routes that
- 8:25Speaker 2: really fit the heavy RPO scheme. But there were really
- 8:29Speaker 2: strong snap shots of route running savvy and separation quickness.
- 8:34Speaker 2: He's another guy to me that I think fits the
- 8:37Speaker 2: NFL really well because I think he's a movement guy.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And more and more teams, as you guys know, we
- 8:43Speaker 2: discussed this during the season when we talk Eagles and
- 8:45Speaker 2: the rest of the NFL, more and more teams are
- 8:47Speaker 2: using pre snap movement, and I think that fits his
- 8:51Speaker 2: game really, really well if you get him off the ball,
- 8:56Speaker 2: get you know, get him the ball off movement and
- 8:59Speaker 2: in space where you can really deploy his run after
- 9:02Speaker 2: catch traits. You know, the other thing that you don't
- 9:07Speaker 2: see a lot in college. First of all, a lot
- 9:10Speaker 2: of teams. I was saying this to my my seasonal
- 9:14Speaker 2: you know, stayed with me and comes in every day
- 9:15Speaker 2: and watch his tape with me because he wants to
- 9:16Speaker 2: get in the league. And we noticed in watching defenses
- 9:20Speaker 2: there's not very much man coverage. So the one thing
- 9:24Speaker 2: that a lot of these receivers and Cooper's the same
- 9:27Speaker 2: way is you know that he didn't show which again
- 9:30Speaker 2: doesn't mean he can't do it, but there wasn't a
- 9:33Speaker 2: sample size to know whether he could consistently separate and
- 9:35Speaker 2: win versus quality man to man coverage. You just don't
- 9:39Speaker 2: see a lot of it. And that's so this is
- 9:41Speaker 2: not just true of Cooper, it's true of a lot
- 9:43Speaker 2: of receivers. And you know that's that's a trait, that's
- 9:47Speaker 2: a learned trade. How to run routes where you can
- 9:50Speaker 2: separate at the top of your route stamp. You don't
- 9:52Speaker 2: just run at a guy and then then run another way.
- 9:55Speaker 2: You know that that's something you have to learn how
- 9:57Speaker 2: to do. My guess is because he has the athletic
- 10:01Speaker 2: traits to do it that he probably he can do it.
- 10:04Speaker 2: But I think you know, these guys have to learn
- 10:06Speaker 2: how to do that.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Guy well real, I'm sure you overlooked in your notes
- 10:12Speaker 1: the fact and the other trade, right that he just
- 10:15Speaker 1: knows how to win and comes up in the clutch.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I know that's one of your favorite Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 3: he knows how to win.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, I love that. Yeah, yeah, you know.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Yeah, Greg, the next guy's got really good size.
- 10:33Speaker 5: That's Denzel Boston for Washington.
- 10:34Speaker 2: What can you tell us about Yeah, Denzel Boston is
- 10:37Speaker 2: a guy. You know. It's funny. Jeff started out by
- 10:40Speaker 2: mentioning Ted McMillan, and I think there there are some
- 10:45Speaker 2: similarities here. You know. It's funny, how remember when McMillan
- 10:48Speaker 2: came out last year. You know, so many people when
- 10:51Speaker 2: you get big receivers who are smooth, everybody wanted to
- 10:54Speaker 2: compare them to Drake London, who you know, came in
- 10:56Speaker 2: a few years ago. And Drake London's turned out to
- 10:58Speaker 2: be a good receiver. He's a perfect example, by the
- 11:00Speaker 2: way of what we started talking about. He's basically become
- 11:03Speaker 2: an inside receiver in Atlanta's offense, and he's really good
- 11:06Speaker 2: at it. So therefore he catches a lot of balls
- 11:09Speaker 2: and puts up numbers, but he's not really an outside receiver.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And I, you know, I know someone who is on
- 11:14Speaker 2: that staff in Atlanta. Obviously it's a different staff now,
- 11:17Speaker 2: so this coach is somewhere else, but he was on
- 11:19Speaker 2: the staff in Atlanta the last couple of years. And
- 11:22Speaker 2: basically we had this conversation about London. He said, he's
- 11:24Speaker 2: really good, but he's an inside guy. You know, I
- 11:27Speaker 2: think Boston is closer to Ted McMillan in the sense
- 11:31Speaker 2: that he's a little smoother. You can play him on
- 11:33Speaker 2: the outside, you know. So now he was featured as
- 11:38Speaker 2: the ex in the Washington offense. You know, so he
- 11:41Speaker 2: ran those kinds of routes. But there'll be a question
- 11:45Speaker 2: with him because of his size, his length. You know,
- 11:49Speaker 2: his movement is more measured and methodical than quick and sudden.
- 11:52Speaker 2: He's not a sink his hips, snap out of cuts
- 11:54Speaker 2: kind of guy. So can he win and separate versus
- 11:58Speaker 2: really good man coverage in the NFL? Well, if he
- 12:00Speaker 2: is your ex which you have to be able to do.
- 12:04Speaker 2: There were times that he did show a little stiffness
- 12:06Speaker 2: and what I call segmentation getting in and out of breaks,
- 12:10Speaker 2: and that slowed down his cuts. He's certainly not a
- 12:14Speaker 2: true vertical guy, but he has stride length, and I've
- 12:17Speaker 2: learned over the years that guys who are are long
- 12:19Speaker 2: and have length they can win over the top of times,
- 12:23Speaker 2: even if they're not really explosive vertically. But I think
- 12:27Speaker 2: there's a lot to like about this guy. I mean,
- 12:29Speaker 2: you know, I thought I watched him last summer too.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I thought another guy that I thought looked quicker in
- 12:34Speaker 2: twenty twenty five than he did in twenty twenty four.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And he's a guy that has great hands body control.
- 12:40Speaker 2: He can make tough catches away from his frame, and
- 12:43Speaker 2: the size is a trade and is a factor.
- 12:46Speaker 1: It's the first guy that you've kind of confidently felt
- 12:48Speaker 1: that can play the boundary or.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I think, yeah, yeah, more so, I would look at
- 12:55Speaker 2: him more so than the others we just spoke about.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Got it very good? All right, Let's talk about Kayle
- 13:03Speaker 3: Lemon from USC.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I think Mkayle Lemon and I had this conversation with
- 13:08Speaker 2: a couple of people you know in the league that
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know evaluate players. He is the absolute clear cutcase
- 13:15Speaker 2: of the eye of the beholder because he's not big,
- 13:21Speaker 2: he's he's quick, but not fast. He's certainly more measured
- 13:25Speaker 2: than explosive. He wasn't really a true playmaker. Run after
- 13:30Speaker 2: catch and I want to I want to make a
- 13:32Speaker 2: quick point about run after catch. Guys. If you catch
- 13:35Speaker 2: the ball and there's nobody in front of you and
- 13:37Speaker 2: you run for twenty yards, that's not run after catch,
- 13:41Speaker 2: even though it counts in the stats run after catch.
- 13:44Speaker 2: That's not run after catch. Run after catches when you
- 13:47Speaker 2: do something to produce the extra yards. So I think
- 13:50Speaker 2: that's an important point to make because a lot of
- 13:52Speaker 2: people now look at metrics, you know, and they see, oh,
- 13:56Speaker 2: run after catch yardage you know, you got to look
- 13:58Speaker 2: at the plays. I mean, you know, when if you catch,
- 14:00Speaker 2: you know, let's say a glance route and there's no
- 14:03Speaker 2: one in front of you, when you run for twenty
- 14:05Speaker 2: or twenty five yards, that's not run after catch, even
- 14:07Speaker 2: though it's charted that.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Way, right, you know, text matters, yes.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Right, and no question. So Lemon is is well, I'll
- 14:16Speaker 2: tell you here, here's what I I like Lemon, but
- 14:21Speaker 2: I think you have to be careful. And again, to me,
- 14:23Speaker 2: he's a perfect example of if he goes to the
- 14:26Speaker 2: right team, he could absolutely be a volume receiver depending
- 14:30Speaker 2: on scheme and his deployment within the scheme. I mean,
- 14:33Speaker 2: he's tough, he's competitive, that stands out, and that always
- 14:37Speaker 2: transitions well to the next level. You know, I think
- 14:41Speaker 2: that you're dealing with a guy that has has natural
- 14:44Speaker 2: route quickness. He's he does have separation quickness, and I
- 14:48Speaker 2: think he understands how to run routes. You know, we
- 14:51Speaker 2: talk sometimes about the blind spots of corners when you
- 14:54Speaker 2: run routes, and he has a he's very very good
- 14:57Speaker 2: at getting corners just to turn and and then there's
- 15:00Speaker 2: a blind spot when you turn your body. You obviously
- 15:02Speaker 2: can't see everything, and he's very very good at then
- 15:05Speaker 2: attacking those blind spots, and he's got really vice grip
- 15:09Speaker 2: hands so he can catch away from his frame. You know,
- 15:13Speaker 2: the last line, one of the last lines in my transition.
- 15:16Speaker 2: When I finished, I said, the more I watched Lemon,
- 15:19Speaker 2: the more I thought of both Aman Ross Saint Brown
- 15:21Speaker 2: and Khalil Khalil Shakir, with Lemon falling somewhere in between.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Good player's kind of the way I saw him. Shakiir
- 15:31Speaker 2: is much better run after catch than Lemon.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Interesting all right, and you know he again this this
- 15:37Speaker 4: group as we got through them. It's interesting, and you
- 15:40Speaker 4: hear this from coaches. It's it's what are you kind
- 15:43Speaker 4: of looking to accept? Like what can you handle? What
- 15:46Speaker 4: can you make better? Shakira's a guy that went late
- 15:49Speaker 4: and became a quality receiver.
- 15:50Speaker 2: For the Bills. And you know it's funny. I spoke
- 15:52Speaker 2: to a GM who has been doing it a long
- 15:54Speaker 2: time and we had this conversation about Mackay Lemon. I
- 15:58Speaker 2: had a great hour conversation with him at the mind,
- 16:00Speaker 2: this GM, and he actually told me that he had
- 16:02Speaker 2: Shakira as a second round player. So yeah, by the way.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I really like Shakiir coming out of Boise. You know, me,
- 16:09Speaker 2: I don't put grades on guys. I don't do that,
- 16:12Speaker 2: but I really like Shakiir coming out of Boise. And
- 16:14Speaker 2: you know, and I'm sure a lot of people listening
- 16:17Speaker 2: to this because the Bills are on all the time,
- 16:18Speaker 2: have seen Shakir make a lot of those great run
- 16:20Speaker 2: after catch plays. You know, Lemon's not quite He's not
- 16:23Speaker 2: at that level of run after catch. So and Shakira
- 16:28Speaker 2: is also he's a little bigger than Lemon. But but
- 16:31Speaker 2: I Lemon to me, I think Lemon in the right
- 16:33Speaker 2: scheme is going to be a good receiver. You know,
- 16:36Speaker 2: there's a lot to like about Lemon and animate a
- 16:38Speaker 2: great point. It's what you can accept because guys are
- 16:42Speaker 2: going to be drafted high. You know, Lemon could go ninth.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I mean, you never and I don't even know who
- 16:47Speaker 2: draft nights, but I'm saying you're gonna get three, four,
- 16:49Speaker 2: maybe five receivers drafted in the first round because you
- 16:52Speaker 2: don't have quarterbacks. So so you're gonna get these guys
- 16:56Speaker 2: and fans are going to think, oh, he's a first
- 16:57Speaker 2: round pick. He's got to come in and play and
- 16:59Speaker 2: catch seventy five balls. And now that depends on team
- 17:03Speaker 2: and scheme.
- 17:04Speaker 5: And coaching and yeah, and that to a great point.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Great point, that's the big thing.
- 17:08Speaker 4: So the next guy was a really good punt return
- 17:10Speaker 4: of this season. He's played for North Carolina State and
- 17:13Speaker 4: Texas A M. That's casey conception sheet. Tell us about
- 17:18Speaker 4: m greg Now, now.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Here's a receiver that I really really like. I think
- 17:23Speaker 2: that this guy really fits the NFL game. Just before
- 17:27Speaker 2: I start talking about him, I'll just tell you that
- 17:29Speaker 2: the player that he reminded me of when I finished
- 17:31Speaker 2: watching his tape, and I made this point in my notes,
- 17:34Speaker 2: the player I constantly thought of watching concepts Jon was
- 17:36Speaker 2: Zay Flowers coming out of BC. Concept Jon is five
- 17:40Speaker 2: to eleven five as one ninety six. I mean he
- 17:44Speaker 2: was deployed in multiple ways in the A and M
- 17:46Speaker 2: offense pre snap movement, location, versatility, He's sudden, he's twitchy,
- 17:52Speaker 2: he's got short, airy explosiveness, he's got accelerating vertical speed.
- 17:56Speaker 2: This guy can truly be a factor at all three
- 17:59Speaker 2: levels and including the wide receiver screen game, which has
- 18:02Speaker 2: become more and more prevalent in the NFL. He's got
- 18:05Speaker 2: outstanding run after catch traits. See, I think he can
- 18:08Speaker 2: transition to any NFL passing game. So you know, again,
- 18:13Speaker 2: I'm not sitting here saying he's my number one, you know,
- 18:16Speaker 2: I'm just talking about what I believe the player showed
- 18:18Speaker 2: in college and what I think he then can be
- 18:21Speaker 2: at the next level. In speaking to a couple of people,
- 18:26Speaker 2: you know, at the combine, I think there are an
- 18:28Speaker 2: Adam you may know more about this than I that
- 18:30Speaker 2: there are some concerns that are separate from his tape,
- 18:34Speaker 2: you know, and that's always a factor when guys you know,
- 18:37Speaker 2: are in the draft. But I think the tape and
- 18:40Speaker 2: his and his the way he plays really, you know,
- 18:44Speaker 2: like I said, he reminded me of a Flowers coming out
- 18:46Speaker 2: of BC and he's done. Okay, so you see.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Him as a movement type player as well, then.
- 18:51Speaker 2: He can I think he can line up anywhere, and
- 18:53Speaker 2: I think that he can attack all three levels. I mean,
- 18:55Speaker 2: I don't think he's your true boundary acts every single snatch,
- 18:58Speaker 2: but I think he can line up anywhere.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not fat. I mean, here's the thing with him, Gregan,
- 19:05Speaker 5: this is interesting.
- 19:06Speaker 4: He as you say that we think of x receivers
- 19:10Speaker 4: at six two, six three, maybe six one, where Bill
- 19:13Speaker 4: like a J.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Brown is not quite six to one, but Bill like
- 19:15Speaker 5: a rock.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Is the I know you're not seeing him up close,
- 19:19Speaker 4: so I know you were at the you were on
- 19:21Speaker 4: the at the field.
- 19:21Speaker 5: On the field, does he look bigger in person? Did
- 19:23Speaker 5: you see him at the.
- 19:24Speaker 2: He doesn't look big. But keep this in mind. What
- 19:28Speaker 2: we see in the league now is even receivers who
- 19:31Speaker 2: are quote unquote boundary X because there's so many reduced
- 19:35Speaker 2: splits now, so you know you're not seeing even if
- 19:38Speaker 2: a guy is a single receiver, he's not necessarily split
- 19:41Speaker 2: outside the numbers you know you're seeing. I mean, think
- 19:44Speaker 2: of teams now that that you know the rams are
- 19:48Speaker 2: probably the example that immediately comes to mind. I mean,
- 19:51Speaker 2: look at Puka Nakua. I mean how many times you
- 19:54Speaker 2: know he wasn't even used that way until really this year,
- 19:58Speaker 2: maybe some last year. You know, there's the way teams
- 20:01Speaker 2: now line up with all these reduced formations. Even guys
- 20:05Speaker 2: who are so called single receivers to the short side
- 20:08Speaker 2: of the field, oftentimes they could be really tight to
- 20:11Speaker 2: the formation in what we call reduced or cut splits.
- 20:14Speaker 2: So you know, the game has changed in that regard.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Hey, if you're like me, you're desensitized to the dozens
- 20:21Speaker 1: of notifications on your phone every day. But if that
- 20:24Speaker 1: latest ping is from your security camera, ignoring it could

- 22:38Speaker 1: it all right, by the way, no relation to Dave concepts.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You correct, Well, we know who that is. Many people
- 22:46Speaker 2: listening might not know who that is of no clue,
- 22:50Speaker 2: no clue that is, given that and given that Baseball
- 22:52Speaker 2: open so you know this week.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Right, yeah, yep, all right, let's go to Louisville and
- 22:58Speaker 1: talk about Chris.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Chris Bell. It was a fascinating study because he
- 23:05Speaker 2: got hurt this year towards ACL so we didn't obviously
- 23:07Speaker 2: didn't do anything. You know, he's not gonna do anything
- 23:10Speaker 2: at all, I'm sure because he's not ready to. Fortunately,
- 23:14Speaker 2: I watched him last summer. I was, and I watched
- 23:16Speaker 2: him this year too until he got hurt. But I
- 23:18Speaker 2: watched him last summer. And when I watched him last summer,
- 23:22Speaker 2: I thought that this was a guy that had, you know,
- 23:25Speaker 2: an explosive dimension to his game both vertically and run
- 23:28Speaker 2: after catch. I mean, when he had free access off
- 23:31Speaker 2: the ball, he got to speed in a hurry. He
- 23:34Speaker 2: has stride length because he's big, you know, he could accelerate.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You know, he had that accelerating speed. I mean there
- 23:41Speaker 2: were times he caught slant routes, glance routes where he
- 23:43Speaker 2: just ran away from the defense. I didn't think he
- 23:48Speaker 2: looked quite that way this year, even before the injury.
- 23:52Speaker 2: But there's no question that he does have straight line,
- 23:56Speaker 2: a straight line explosive dimension to him. You know, he's
- 24:01Speaker 2: he's going to be a really interesting guy. I mean,
- 24:03Speaker 2: there are plays when you look at him, there are
- 24:05Speaker 2: wow plays. He had a thirty five yard touchdown this
- 24:08Speaker 2: year versus Miami on a shallow crosser that he took
- 24:11Speaker 2: to the house. I mean, and you know he just
- 24:13Speaker 2: ran away from the Miami defense. You know, I think
- 24:16Speaker 2: he's a guy. To get to Adam's point, I think
- 24:20Speaker 2: he's a guy that needs coaching because he just needs
- 24:22Speaker 2: to develop more sharpness in and out of breaks. I
- 24:25Speaker 2: think he you know, there were times he had to
- 24:27Speaker 2: sort of gather and reset his body in order to break.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Obviously that doesn't work in the NFL. You know, I
- 24:35Speaker 2: think that his his his speed. He was more of
- 24:42Speaker 2: a run after catch explosive guy than he was a
- 24:45Speaker 2: vertical dimension if that makes sense. You know, he didn't
- 24:49Speaker 2: necessarily run by corners as on routes, but when he
- 24:53Speaker 2: caught the ball, you know, and he could just keep running,
- 24:55Speaker 2: you know, make that seamless transition. He was really explosive.
- 24:59Speaker 2: He's he's a perfect example too of eye of the beholder,
- 25:04Speaker 2: because you look at this kid depending on your offense,
- 25:07Speaker 2: and you think, man, if you can get him the
- 25:08Speaker 2: ball on some of those inbreaking routes with a little space,
- 25:12Speaker 2: you know that, then he's explosive in that regard.
- 25:16Speaker 4: So Gregor would not be in a show talking about
- 25:19Speaker 4: Alabama and not talking about a receiver.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Let's talk about Jeremy Bernard.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Yeah, JEREMYM. Bernard is and I had a great conversation
- 25:28Speaker 2: with a receivers coach about him because he's one of
- 25:30Speaker 2: those guys you know, you know, we always talk and
- 25:33Speaker 2: people in the business know exactly what we mean, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 2: and it's but it's cliched, But people in the business
- 25:39Speaker 2: know he's a football player, you know. You know what
- 25:41Speaker 2: I'm saying. People in the business know what that means,
- 25:44Speaker 2: and I think that's who he is. I really like Bernard.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Now that doesn't mean he's got every trait you want, obviously,
- 25:53Speaker 2: he's not purely explosive. And again, where does he line up?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I bet he could line up anywhere depending on your team.
- 26:02Speaker 2: You know, he was technically sound in his route running.
- 26:05Speaker 2: He had really reliable hands. Does he have vertical speed no?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Is he truly explosive, No, But you're dealing with a fine,
- 26:13Speaker 2: subtle route runner who understands leverage versus both man and zone.
- 26:17Speaker 2: He's got a very an innate feel for sitting in zones.
- 26:22Speaker 2: You know, he's he's just a good receiver who's and
- 26:26Speaker 2: I'm trying to think, you know, when when you watch him,
- 26:29Speaker 2: you try to think of guys like that who are
- 26:31Speaker 2: just really good receivers who aren't necessarily you know, the
- 26:36Speaker 2: way we think of traits, because he's, like I said,
- 26:38Speaker 2: he's not a burner, but he's just to me, he's
- 26:41Speaker 2: a foundational, solid prospect who just fits the profile, you know,
- 26:46Speaker 2: sort of that strong number two receiver in a passing game.
- 26:49Speaker 2: You know, you don't draft him to say this guy's
- 26:51Speaker 2: my guy, right, he's just a good receiver, just.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Real discipline with his routes and yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what, that's not a bad comparison. Yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 2: that kind of guy just knows how to play the position. Yeah.
- 27:07Speaker 4: So what Greg means is he's just a football player
- 27:10Speaker 4: generally means competitive, tough, Yeah, mentally strong, coachable, by the way,
- 27:14Speaker 4: is a big thing at that position. Yeah, and he
- 27:17Speaker 4: went to the Bama so you kind of know, although
- 27:19Speaker 4: save it's not coaching anymore, but you know that program
- 27:21Speaker 4: what it's known for.
- 27:22Speaker 5: They usually get guys are mentally tough.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah, So I mean he's and Adam makes a great
- 27:27Speaker 2: point because coaching is a big deal because the the
- 27:30Speaker 2: NFL game, because of the field, is different than the
- 27:33Speaker 2: college game. For a receiver, it's totally different and there's
- 27:36Speaker 2: a lot that they have to learn. It's not just Tay,
- 27:39Speaker 2: I got ability. Let me go out there and you know,
- 27:41Speaker 2: run around and catch balls.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Well, Greg, it's it's not all the time we get
- 27:46Speaker 1: to ask you about a six foot four wide receiver.
- 27:48Speaker 1: But that's what Chris Brazil a second is. I mean,
- 27:51Speaker 1: he's pretty tall guy there. So what do you see
- 27:53Speaker 1: from him on tape out of Tennessee?
- 27:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Christopher, he's you know, we make the same point
- 28:00Speaker 2: all the time. You know, this is a guy that's
- 28:02Speaker 2: six' four and he ran a four to three Seven
- 28:06Speaker 2: but you. Know the interesting thing about him and people
- 28:09Speaker 2: just and, again there's plenty of examples on tape of,
- 28:11Speaker 2: him you, know being. Explosive he's obviously got great stride
- 28:15Speaker 2: length where he can generate, speed but there are a
- 28:18Speaker 2: lot of vertical routes where corners also matched him stride for.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Stride SO i mean just saying he's six' four and
- 28:23Speaker 2: ran a four to, Three seven and then you have
- 28:26Speaker 2: to watch the tape because, YOU know i watch all.
- 28:28Speaker 2: HIS targets i don't just watch the. GOOD plays i
- 28:30Speaker 2: watch all. His TARGETS but i think that there's more
- 28:35Speaker 2: to him than just being long and. RUNNING fast i
- 28:38Speaker 2: thought there were some really good snapshots and his targets
- 28:42Speaker 2: of sharp decisive cuts without shortening his stride or slowing.
- 28:45Speaker 2: His SPEED and i thought he showed some body control
- 28:48Speaker 2: to stop without having to gear down with too. MANY
- 28:51Speaker 2: steps i think there's something there with, this kid. You.
- 28:55Speaker 2: KNOW uh i think different coaches will see his path to,
- 29:00Speaker 2: development differently but it would not. Surprise me he's one
- 29:06Speaker 2: of those guys because of, the size the, forty time
- 29:10Speaker 2: what he looks like, on tape because he just looks.
- 29:13Speaker 2: REALLY good, i mean he's got that strider glider feel.
- 29:16Speaker 2: To him he just. Looks good. YOU know i think
- 29:20Speaker 2: there'll be they'll be receiver coaches that fall in love with.
- 29:24Speaker 1: This kid how would you characterize his contested catchability because
- 29:29Speaker 1: even if he's being run for stride, for stride there's
- 29:32Speaker 1: not a lot of d backs that are six, for
- 29:33Speaker 1: FOUR so i would think he'd, have yeah head.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Advantage, there yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 2: HE shull i mean he did show strong hands to
- 29:39Speaker 2: catch the ball away from his frame. For sure, YOU
- 29:42Speaker 2: know i think that the bigger question is can he
- 29:45Speaker 2: work between? The numbers, you know can he catch the ball?
- 29:48Speaker 2: In traffic, YOU know i think he can go up and.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Get IT but i didn't think, watching him there was
- 29:54Speaker 2: a real physical component to, His. GAME jeff, i mean,
- 29:57Speaker 2: YOU know i thought that he was more of a.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Finesse receiver, you know so sometimes those guys are not
- 30:04Speaker 2: big volume targets in. The, league.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Well another guy who's tall and he's much, thicker physically
- 30:13Speaker 4: but he didn't run well at. The combine that's, Malachot,
- 30:15Speaker 4: fields greg what, you yeah and.
- 30:18Speaker 2: What he ran is going to turn people off because it.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Was BAD but i mean he's, got size he's, got
- 30:23Speaker 2: length he's got, great hands he's got great. Body control
- 30:27Speaker 2: speaking of, contested catchability he's. Got that, he's physical, He's
- 30:31Speaker 2: competitive he's got kind of a an odd run, after
- 30:36Speaker 2: catch but he can run, after catch so there's not
- 30:40Speaker 2: much mystery. To him the question is do you feel
- 30:44Speaker 2: he's your boundary acts because his traits suggests, that now
- 30:47Speaker 2: to be a, boundary act you don't have to. BE fast,
- 30:50Speaker 2: i mean Think Of michael thomas From the saints in
- 30:53Speaker 2: his prime when he had those three four really good
- 30:56Speaker 2: Years In, new ORLEANS and i think he ran a
- 30:58Speaker 2: four or five eight if the which is really not
- 31:01Speaker 2: that Different from fields for six one or four, six
- 31:03Speaker 2: two whatever. It was, you know it's in.
- 31:05Speaker 4: The.
- 31:05Speaker 2: BALLPARK greg i Don't think bolder ran a four seven.
- 31:09Speaker 2: To two thank.
- 31:10Speaker 5: You boy he just look how great.
- 31:13Speaker 2: He, was yeah so You know fields is going to
- 31:16Speaker 2: be a really, interesting guy you know in this era
- 31:18Speaker 2: of SORT of i was going, to say like over,
- 31:23Speaker 2: sex metrics, YOU.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Know, i mean it's like everybody it's so excited.
- 31:26Speaker 2: About metrics, you know it's like you know that he
- 31:31Speaker 2: may fall because, you know with teams now having so
- 31:33Speaker 2: many people who are into analytics and, all that people, might, say,
- 31:37Speaker 2: oh well this guy can't, do it, you know and
- 31:39Speaker 2: that's hard. TO know, i mean he's a Guy and
- 31:42Speaker 2: i'm not going to be, doing this SO therefore i
- 31:44Speaker 2: don't know. The answer he's A guy i would have to.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Work out i'd have to, Talk to i'd have to,
- 31:48Speaker 2: YOU know i have to go through the whole process.
- 31:50Speaker 2: With him but just because he ran a four six
- 31:54Speaker 2: two doesn't mean he, can't play. You know and He
- 31:57Speaker 2: and i'll tell. You what he is big and he's
- 31:59Speaker 2: physical and he catches everything. THAT good I guess i
- 32:05Speaker 2: don't know who else you have on, your list but
- 32:06Speaker 2: THERE'S one.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I was going.
- 32:07Speaker 4: To.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Say everybody everybody loves that small school guy that comes
- 32:10Speaker 1: out of.
- 32:11Speaker 2: The air.
- 32:11Speaker 3: You Know the.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Eagles fans fell in love With This tarlton state kid,
- 32:14Speaker 1: Last Year, darius cooper who was a rookie.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Free agent that's a little. Bit different, BUT uh i
- 32:18Speaker 3: know you wanted to talk About ted Hurst From.
- 32:20Speaker 2: George Yeah ted hurst, To Me. Georgia state, YOU know
- 32:25Speaker 2: i texted someone in the LEAGUE when i was WATCHING
- 32:29Speaker 2: after i finished Watching, ted hurst and, YOU know i said, to,
- 32:33Speaker 2: myself basically my my, text was why Is ted hurst
- 32:38Speaker 2: not being? Talked About Like. Jordan tyson, you KNOW and
- 32:41Speaker 2: i even typed in. My transition if he showed this
- 32:44Speaker 2: traits profile with this kind of production in a power for,
- 32:47Speaker 2: a conference he would without question be in the first.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Round conversation. You know but many will pause due to
- 32:52Speaker 2: the lower level. OF competition, i mean that's the way.
- 32:54Speaker 2: This works but this kid, is big he, can run
- 33:00Speaker 2: he can be he can be a factor at all.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Three levels he worked the middle of the field at
- 33:05Speaker 2: the short, intermediate levels he caught a ton of dig
- 33:07Speaker 2: routes in. Their offense he probably had a few too,
- 33:10Speaker 2: many drops but he also then caught the ball very
- 33:13Speaker 2: easily with his hands on, the move seamlessly transitioning to run. After,
- 33:17Speaker 2: catch now this guy definitely has the size and length
- 33:20Speaker 2: and trades profile to develop into A boundary x. Without question.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Six three.
- 33:28Speaker 2: He is smooth and he's got. Natural quickness he's got
- 33:33Speaker 2: competitive power and strength run. AFTER catch, i mean there
- 33:37Speaker 2: was really not a lot. TO dislike, i mean did
- 33:39Speaker 2: he have some bad drops on. Routine. Catches yes did
- 33:43Speaker 2: he see a lot of press?
- 33:44Speaker 4: In?
- 33:45Speaker 2: College no, you know can he RUN by? NFL corners
- 33:50Speaker 2: i don't think we know the answer, To that, BUT
- 33:53Speaker 2: uh i really, liked HIM AND i I like, I
- 33:56Speaker 2: SAID i i think if he if he did the
- 33:59Speaker 2: exact same thing in a power, for school He'd be
- 34:02Speaker 2: he'd be in the first round Conversation.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Without quester so the first THING an nfl personnel evaluator
- 34:07Speaker 1: is going to do if they're assigned to this guy
- 34:09Speaker 1: is look at the schedule and see if he played
- 34:11Speaker 1: any games against.
- 34:13Speaker 3: A power for school and how.
- 34:14Speaker 1: He performed did were you able to see? Any tape
- 34:17Speaker 1: do you Know If georgia state played ANYBODY that.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I don't have their schedule right in front, Of ME
- 34:23Speaker 2: and i know teams, Do. That Jeff and i'm not
- 34:26Speaker 2: saying it's right. Or wrong i'm not necessarily a big
- 34:30Speaker 2: believer in that unless you're seeing like one on, one
- 34:33Speaker 2: matchups which you don't see very much in college football.
- 34:36Speaker 2: These days by, the, way right just don't forget his
- 34:38Speaker 2: team is just overall not gonna be able to match
- 34:42Speaker 2: up overall to the team, they're playing. You know so
- 34:46Speaker 2: then it comes down now to so many. Other things the,
- 34:49Speaker 2: old line, the quarterback you know you could watch him
- 34:51Speaker 2: and he could, get open and that the ball could not,
- 34:55Speaker 2: be thrown, You know SO that i find that to
- 34:57Speaker 2: be A hard i don't want, say hard not that,
- 35:01Speaker 2: it's WRONG but i don't know how much that tells me.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Sure true the other thing that they'll do is, they'll
- 35:06Speaker 1: say for a guy coming at school like, that is
- 35:09Speaker 1: did he dominate every? Single TIME can i find two
- 35:13Speaker 1: or three games where? He didn't AND then i got to.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Worry about whether he can do it AT the.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Nfl level but we've seen a lot of small school
- 35:19Speaker 1: guys get drafted and then the personnel people have said he.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Dominated that, In Fact youlex hunt is one of, those
- 35:25Speaker 1: examples and you see him just abusing every single, you
- 35:30Speaker 1: know tackle or.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Either way i'm not Suggesting ted hurst from day one
- 35:34Speaker 2: is going to be A boundary x and catch one
- 35:35Speaker 2: hundred and. Twenty bus, You KNOW so i help people
- 35:38Speaker 2: understand that that's Not what.
- 35:39Speaker 4: I'm, saying right you should know by the Way ted
- 35:42Speaker 4: hurst was At The senior bowl that that's important because
- 35:45Speaker 4: on your point, about okay how did?
- 35:47Speaker 2: He COMPETE and i heard he looked very good From
- 35:49Speaker 2: people i've.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Spoken, to yeah he. Was there so and we'll get
- 35:52Speaker 5: as we.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Get closer we when we do our last show in
- 35:55Speaker 4: a couple, of weeks we'll have follow ups about kind
- 35:58Speaker 4: of how the league. Sees Him but i'm so glad
- 36:00Speaker 4: you brought this up because We Did Jay. ALEX hunt I,
- 36:03Speaker 4: CALLED greg, i, said hey you need to make sure
- 36:04Speaker 4: you see. THIS kid i know he was you had
- 36:06Speaker 4: to get the tape and you saw him and we
- 36:07Speaker 4: talked about him as we were told he's going the
- 36:09Speaker 4: third round.
- 36:10Speaker 5: Of somewhere we didn't know he's going to go TO.
- 36:11Speaker 2: The us there's always. GEMS man i think ted to
- 36:15Speaker 2: Me and i'm bad, at THIS but i Think ted
- 36:17Speaker 2: hurst will Be a day. Two guy but that's. My, Opinion.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Awesome greg anybody else that, we did Like A skuyler
- 36:24Speaker 1: Bell Or antonio Williams Or, jakobe lane anyone, that.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Well there's a bunch of GUYS that, i mean, you
- 36:30Speaker 2: know you got the Elijahs to Rod. From indiana who's
- 36:33Speaker 2: going TO be i think another guy. THAT'S polarizing I
- 36:36Speaker 2: Think dion Burks from oklahoma is a really, intriguing guy.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Really intriguing. YOU know i watched Someone Like dion burks
- 36:44Speaker 2: AND and i come away not feeling like there's a
- 36:47Speaker 2: large Gap Between dian Burks And MIKAYLE emmett, i mean,
- 36:50Speaker 2: YOU know i think this, receiver class there's a lot
- 36:52Speaker 2: of guys who are, bunched together and we get back
- 36:55Speaker 2: to the eye of. The beholder there's a lot of
- 36:57Speaker 2: guys that, you know it's, you know. AN adam i
- 37:01Speaker 2: know you're going to talk. TO people i talk. To
- 37:03Speaker 2: people i'm very curious to see how people see these
- 37:07Speaker 2: guys and, don't forget very often they see them in
- 37:09Speaker 2: the context of. Their offense and you've got to remember,
- 37:12Speaker 2: that true, you know so because when you talk to
- 37:15Speaker 2: a coach and, they're putting, you know a, board TOGETHER
- 37:17Speaker 2: and i never ask a coach, their Board and i'm
- 37:19Speaker 2: not sure you. Don't either you just talk about players and,
- 37:22Speaker 2: you know try to get a sense of how they
- 37:23Speaker 2: evaluate and trades and. All that, YOU know i, never,
- 37:26Speaker 2: say well tell me what your board. Looks LIKE is
- 37:28Speaker 2: i don't feel, that's appropriate NOR do i, DEEP down
- 37:31Speaker 2: i really. Don't care but, YOU know i really like
- 37:34Speaker 2: to talk about the traits and how they can. Be
- 37:36Speaker 2: deployed and that's really what it comes. Down TO but
- 37:39Speaker 2: i think there's. So teams one thing with coaches is
- 37:42Speaker 2: they think about scheme adaptability within their scheme and, their
- 37:46Speaker 2: system right and how he can. Be deployed so THAT'S
- 37:50Speaker 2: why i think you're going to see a LOT of
- 37:53Speaker 2: i don't want, to say you're going to see guys
- 37:54Speaker 2: draft and, you go oh, my GOD well i didn't,
- 37:55Speaker 2: expect THAT but i think, you, Know see i'm never
- 37:58Speaker 2: surprised by THAT because i know sort of how all. This,
- 38:01Speaker 2: works awesome.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Great stuff that is a great comprehensive breakdown of a
- 38:07Speaker 1: lot of really good wide receivers who are going to,
- 38:09Speaker 1: get drafted and that's going to do it for this
- 38:12Speaker 1: Episode Of the Intel with Greg. Co Sell for Greg
- 38:15Speaker 1: co Sell And, Adam Kaplan I'm jeff mosher catch all
- 38:18Speaker 1: on the.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Next one
