- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hello and welcome back to your one and only source.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: We are your hosts.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: My name is Phoebe.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: My name is Caroline and today we are recapping gossip girl season two episode three called
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: famously the worst time to have a dark night because have you ever heard of in the heights and musical black out, black out.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: And they wanted us to know it was hot, because everybody is dripping and sweat this episode.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: They're glistening.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's honestly like, if I just seen the glistening, I'd be like, okay, they're using some sort of body oil to show us at its summer.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: But the constant references to how hot it is makes me know that it's sweat.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: And it really disgusted me.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like hanging all over each other, like making out.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I know you stink.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: I can actually look at you, take one look at you and tell that you stink.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not your typical Brooklyn water stink, Dan.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: This is like, let's take three cold childhoods.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: Why are we wearing a vest, a central park?
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: We don't we just have to, you know, in fact, it's not even a shorts and a t-shirt.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: More than your jeans and a vest.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and a light color.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: T-shirt.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he said the light colored t-shirt were all your sweat stand.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's why he's wearing the vest.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's like that, well, can seal the sweat.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe that's that episode for Dan in terms of gossip girl and bad episode for Chuck really bad episode for Chuck.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, bad episode for Chuck for sure.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Also not a great episode for Blair, but that's okay.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: We forget I don't know.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was kind of with Blair, but we can't.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: really say it's like that bad of an episode for Chuck and not say it was also bad episode for Blair.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: No, but Chuck, like I'm talking about like
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: Making out with someone when they under the guise that you were someone else, I'm of the, I'm in the firm stance Anthony and I have had some organizations about this, no, I think it's pretty fucked up.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that I blame Chuck tenfold.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think, I mean, Blair might have noticed halfway through, but they're, I don't feel right away.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll tell you why when we get there.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: It is so interesting to me discussing but I also think that like I think that he knew he really believed that she knew it he is discussing it's about episode for him, but I am just not like Blair knew what she was doing 100% and so like I don't think that
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: her like groveling from Marcus and like you I she did know it was him so it's like and the lights came on and they continued you know what I mean like in front of him and then it's just like well so like she like regardless I think that Chuck's disgusting for doing it and I'm not saying that Blair's disgusting for doing it but I'm just saying that like I do think this qualifies as cheating.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for her, like I don't think that she's exempt even though she can pretend she didn't know better.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think that she did and I have really Anthony and I have at length discussed that scene and like what we think it means and what we do.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: We think Blair knew when do I think she knew so I've really like examined this and so we'll get into it because also I'm usually very excited to be like
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's a man doing horrible thing, but but speaking of really quickly just do want to say that I am watching off campus.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Are you watching?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Have you heard about this?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm watching it.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's on prime.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's so good.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's like based off books that I haven't read, but it is doing such a good job of like showing cool hockey guys who believe that consent is cool and girls being safe is cool and all these things without it being in a very like hit you over the head, turn off the kind of way, like a lot of super
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: team shows are these days.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like they, they really approach it.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's cool to see them do it.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, look at these cool guys who are talking about consent, who are talking about like they have a house made, who's non-binary, and the way that they, it's almost like they never even mention it until someone asks so question, and their response is like, oh, that's not a girl or that's just like a person with a girl in a girl's body.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so you know, whatever.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: There's like little
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: I just very well done, I think, and I also think, I mean, trigger warning if you watch it for sexual assault, but the way that they depict that, I think, is kind of awesome.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's like really just well done.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's a cheesy, teeny-bopper kind of show, but I think it has a lot of really good substance.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: And also, it's not a really teeny-bopper show because you see, like, full front of all the time.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's giving the key to rivalry for Straits, Loki.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of like what they needed.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Just what they needed.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know what thing God someone made that someone finally did something for the straights Yeah, we're using t-should matters.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: I've been saying that like oh my god when he did my work came out I was like okay What about the straight off people and what about the straight guys straight girls straight girls and guys about them?
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, they don't worry.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: They're also gay people in the show, but I just it was like it's like hockey players, but like a had a row of relationships, so whatever.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: And the girl I think looks a lot like Lucy Hale.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, she's 19 guys.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: I am watching three little layers with Brecken and we just got to Ezra being revealed.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: as a, and she was like, wait, what is he, he was like, please, I didn't, is he, first she thought he walked in there and was like discovering a laser layer, like he followed them and was discovering in a protective way.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: And then when he hit the cabinet,
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, oh, he's a bad guy.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then he, and now we're in the Ian Hardy and school of acting like a bad guy.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: We're suddenly he's like acting like a completely different person.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: Never acted like this before.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes I didn't realize how quickly they started putting the red makeup on Spencer's eye.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like even before she starts looking for Ezra, she's starting to like,
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: You got to just fire her credibility as fast as they can.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's so so fucking good.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's great.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, we begin this episode of gossip girl with a montage of everybody during the summer heat.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck is drinking at like 11 a.m. Jenny is essentially Andy Sachs and double worst product running on the street with her arms overflowing with pieces of fabric.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: Serena and Dan are making out on the street and so are Blair Marcus.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and that's sort of our or intro to what everyone's up to.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's take a freakin' break on the party planning, my girl.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: Blair is also Sally Carson in this episode.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: She's trying to get in thought, I'll just say it.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: She's trying to get fucked.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: She's a dog and he.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: She literally is.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's why they're like Marcus Marcus is Austin Crawl saying down girl.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: Down girl, no, literally, literally.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair is just like, Blair is ready for it for lack of a better term.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I really feel like they're using this heat wave to be like, look, like,
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's everything's coming to a boiling point all these secrets all these everything like the it's only on a cool off, once it's all out on the open, and that's what this episode is you guys, that's what this episode is.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: So Blair is planning a back to school party for seniors and their parents and I'm like, isn't that what we low key just did.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: when it was that was that was that was that was a for just people who could vote right sorry I've had and so they're doing this and they're like making out a little bit and Marcus is apparently really concerned about somebody walking in on them and blurs like it's not a big deal and basically here we find out that he will not have sex with her she's freaking dying for it she's begging for it he will not do it he tells her that she's a delicate little flower she's
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I always don't tell my father he'd be pissed.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: I do you love Kira Knightley.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I love Kira Knightley.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: I've just seen her and stuff.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like you just like hit in my childhood.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: You loved who does she play in parts of the Caribbean?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember her name.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was like the only girl.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: And she doesn't have to believe in it or something.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: Beautiful couple on earth.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: What her and Orlando bloom together is like most beautiful on earth together.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: They were spicy and I mean, but that's like all of pretty much she and her own.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: Why just so no, I don't know.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Her crushers up her on my wall, Phoebe.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, okay, Caroline's, Caroline's, if she could have dinner with anybody dead or alive, Caroline, Karen, I like.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: should be kind of crazy.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that is someone somewhere's answer.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Someone somewhere, just not this girl, this girl here, not this girl, this where.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: right, right, right.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, they, he once their first time to be special and for them to go packed a party planning.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: I have her and she's like, okay, whatever.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then we go to the street where Jenny is on the phone with Vanessa and she's actually just dropped her phone because her cheek got too sweaty and it slipped out because she, her hands aren't free so she has it like,
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: between her shoulder and her cheek.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: The classic like busy mom with like full hands and a store at the stroller way of talking on the phone.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's how Johnny's talking on the phone.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: And also Andy Saxon, Deborah's pro.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what I kind of want to say to people who talk on the phone like that.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's like maybe you don't need to be on the phone right now.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Phoebe, that's kind of like shitty of you because sometimes you're already on the phone and then all these things happen.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: And you also have like women are good at multitasking.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: You want them to stop.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what it has.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: It affects you literally at all.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like, well, if you're gonna drop your phone and then stop all the traffic on the sidewalk and then you stop all the traffic.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then she asks all these people for help.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and they kept walking by because, guys, what the traffic wasn't stopped.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: So they just got it on walking by.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, anyway, um, so Ginny's on the film with Vanessa and she's on the way back to her internship and she's like Vanessa just freaking call him up in Vanessa, of course.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: She's just going to film with her.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: She's just going to film with her.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: She's just going to film with her.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, Vanessa just got off the phone with her good friend, Arya, who said, you are not the whiny girl who picks up the phone and calls the boy.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Vanessa says, I hate this.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so not the whiny, do I call him girl?
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, but also, hey, guess what?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay, if you are.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Also, you are.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: We all are.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let's be.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Also, Vanessa, you have to do what you're being.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: and you will continue to be and also if you're listening to this and you're like oh my god am I the wine you do I call him girl guess what it's fine it's also like who cares every girl is every girl at some point in her life is the wine you do I call him girl it is the right of passage and if you're not you're lying
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: And especially if you're publicly stating that you're not, like Vanessa, who are you trying to convince?
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so anyway, Jenny's like, well, I just think you should call him and then they have to go and she picks up the phone again.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: And this is when she does ask people to help her and they say, it's new you like babe, we don't stop the help and they keep going.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: And that's like everything they tell you about New York.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: They're like do-ho-ho, and expect a friendly helping hand in New York City, okay?
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: New York City feels my life.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: So Catherine and Nate are trying on suits, and I guess he's asking her for more money now.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really get it.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't understand how they're so comfortable being out in the open.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's why I think I'm like, Katherine, you're acting like this is all like you were so worried about bringing us to the city and bringing us into the fall and now here you are like fucking Brooks brothers, they're a real slow run.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: You're a fucking real slow run.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I do feel like she said Ralph Lauren too.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, OK, I can spot a fake from a mile away, but I guess we're going to do it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: Haven't we decided that it is Ralph Lauren?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think I don't know.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: But rich people want, especially a rich person like her who's kind of a fake.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're trying to say, say, Ralph Lauren.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: And she's a Ralph Lauren.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: She would say Ralph.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, like, fake rich people would typically say Loren.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, no.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: And what you're saying, I was making a joke that that would be me.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like a fun, and I'm the person that gets it right.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, in this scenario, I'm the rich person who's saying on, you're just a regular Joe who's saying it that way.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: The right way.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm the rich person.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: So which one would you really rather be?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Typically you're the one, Carolina would rather be correct and poor than rich and wrong.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Don't you dare say that about me.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know anything about me.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know anything about me.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Not just became very clear.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather be right and poor.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm left by the way, guys.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I'm left, I'm not right.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm left just over clear.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe, what about you?
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Just kidding.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so anyway, the money she gave him is now gone.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: I guess he needs more.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, well, we can talk about it later.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: But like, let's just enjoy the moment we're having so much fun.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: So she starts to walk away and Vanessa calls Nate.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: And he seems like over the moon happy to hear from Vanessa.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, let's hang out later.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: And she is just like a smitten freaking kitten.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: She's like,
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Check the words on my mouth, Nate, good guy, Nate, and Catherine walks back up and is like, who the fuck is that?
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, my, my freaking mommy, like, just chill, cat.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: I know you can tell that he's starting to like, feel the effects of this now being like a financial endeavor.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Not just.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like you feel like the effects pretty quick, like that makes sense to me.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I just also feel like, even without the money component, now that he's back in the city, he's like,
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: This feels like being with my mom.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to like fuck bitches.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like I don't know.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: So shopping with my mom, which is essentially what it's like.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's like if I had Gettillion and I had to go to a suit shopping with my mom.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is what we, this is the store we came to.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: This is the sales clerk we use.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: She knows my mom.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Can't be that.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so Dan and Serena walking on the street eating for OELF eating each other and kept saying.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like they're literally like they're soaking what they're soaking what they're they can't So I'm touching each other and they're like so do you think like anybody they might Nobody knows Like writing messages and in the sweat bees on each other skin and they're like so like putting hearts like S plus D do you think anyone knows And she's like well, I think we should make like a big couple debut tonight a player's party and he's like whoa whoa whoa couple
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we're just fucking, we're just fucking, we're just fucking friends, we're just fucking, we've been in fits and we just want to be just watched friends with benefits with Ashton, Kutcher, and Mila Kutcher.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: That girl is so cool in that movie.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, can't you just be like her?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, okay, like no street.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's called no streets attached to arena ever heard of it.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: Have you literally ever heard of it?
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: But he says no Ashton, Kutcher, just doesn't Tim really.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: Ashton, Kutcher, is in no streets attached.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: But those are basically the
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: No strings attached is not only a portman.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then the other one is a kind of a milicunus and Justin to really.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: Or is it?
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, like in a situation.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: God.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: I do love the one who's not at the apartment in Ashton, Kutcher.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: I need to watch that one because I didn't love friends with benefits.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: Have you not seen no strings attached?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think so.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you'll love it.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Mindy Kaylings in it for a minute.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: Fun.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's great.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so then a girl stops and takes a picture as if I mean, she's number one still one feet.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe that they can't
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's in turn there.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: She's one foot away from him.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then, um, she is acting like she just got a picture of like the hottest thing.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like Jacob, the Lordy and Kendall Jenner.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: She's literally the god she's sending me to my life as I. I died when Kelly Kelly apparently was friend.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Kelly started.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: a screenshot of the picture that Demoah had posted of them kissing her in a car or something.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I had liked it, I guess.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: And she sent it in our group chat and said, so this is what it feels like to be betrayed by your friends.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Kelly's not playing like I was like I actually can't like my first instinct when I saw the news was to message her and be like oh my god Did you see then I was like we're kind of front what I be to do that because God forbid she hasn't seen I'm not gonna be the one to tell her and if she has seen I know she's nursing her freaking wounds and I'm not gonna be like and hey By the way, did you see I think it look great and I'll never say that to her.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say that to you because she isn't listening to this Another thing is that Dana's been telling everyone that he's been hanging out with his friend Clyde
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, Clyde is my friend, Clyde's actually my best friend, Dan.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know him.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Don't tell people you're hanging out, freaking named dropper anyway.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: So, there he agrees to go to the party tonight and then someone takes that picture and it was a gossip grow blast.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so we see Chuck walking a girl out of his room, whatever, and he gets the gossip grow blast.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: And then we see Blair get the episode,
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: She's so funny.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: Not too late.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: Where is so funny in this episode?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she so many things.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's a blackout or whatever.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: She was I literally loved out loud when she said that blackout so funny.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: Have you seen Nate?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it's a blackout blackout.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I'm just like, I'm doing this for Nate, dear.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: Given us that, like, there's, like, so many little good ones.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we go to Rufus also finds out and asks Dan, if they've worked on everything.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: And Blair and Rufus are kind of on the same wavelength this episode, because they're both like, wait, totally.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: Rufus, like, hey, didn't you totally bang that hot chick?
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this group is also like give him really bad advice.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: Is that in a senior later?
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he gives Vanessa really not advice.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: He just messy as fuck.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I forgot.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so speaking of Vanessa, we see Vanessa, Nate walking down the street and Nate's like really groveling, making it up to her.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's never going to cancel on her last minute again.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: And he tells her that when she called him today, he felt like he could breathe again.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that he wants to make this us right.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: What's crazy is not about Vanessa and what I just like I can't understand anybody enjoying her at all.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: Except it is just so pretty.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: She is very pretty, but she's so annoying.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, she Dana Nate promises not to cancel any plans anymore.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then she says, well, why don't you come by for XYZ?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they're on the same day and she was on the same day and she goes.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so that's not really much a lot.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like no, but he's not he's saying he can't hang out with you tomorrow.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, he had plans.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: You maybe try York City to say that people can typically do two plans in one day, like no, like if he has something going on, he's probably tied up, but you know he has a lot going on with his family, and I don't know, and like I know he's lying, but I am like Vanessa, you don't know that, so in my opinion, you should be a little bit more understanding of the situation that he's in, because you know he doesn't have bad intentions.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe you're wearing maybe you're nervous or maybe you're looking for something to be wrong.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but literally like she's like, okay, sit tomorrow night and he's like, oh, I can't do tomorrow night.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, okay, then you can bring me lunch with the gallery and he's like, I can't do that.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: She goes, well, it was a great speech.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do,
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like I tried the next freaking business day, but he's like, you know what, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to reschedule the shit I already have, so that we can hang out.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: And then we see Catherine has been watching this off in the car.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm sure this will go really well.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: So the next way I dropped something on my toe today and it hurts so bad and you want to know what I dropped.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know those well, you might not know, but there to mount a TV on the walls like this humongous metal contraption, the bracket.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we have one in our room because eventually we're going to mount the TV and there and I was moving it and I picked it up and I had just put lotion on my hands and it slips out of my hands and It's my big toe.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm wearing socks.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: I look down.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: I see blood start coming through the sock immediately.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: It like literally like sliced my toe.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: like the shit it hurt crazy so bad.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was bleeding a lot.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's the worst.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's like when you shave and you neck yourself and the other day I is a pleats so much.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: I have two scabs I'm going to ink on both my ankles right now from shaving.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: One is from shaving and one is from the heels that I wore to Sam and Tommy's wedding.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I, one is from my favorite heels.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: My go to heels that are ready to wear.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: I like knocked my ankle on something and it broke the scab off and it was like
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: Got Shane blood and I was like, it's a wax, it's like, it's like a little bit must.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, like you've been scabbed for like two weeks.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: How old is this much like waiting like banging on the door?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Let me out.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Little money.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's what I'm looking for other exit points at this by the now.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, great.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: You've made a mess now.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks a lot.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: And who's going to clean this up me?
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm okay, you're um, yeah, but it hurt so about and like right now, like the way that I'm sitting and wearing a shoe has one does and it's hurting.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: I would hurt Birkin stalks girl.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but my, but it's horrific looking.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: my toes covered in blood and I'm like, there's no, if I don't have a massive bruise, I'll beat pissed off.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I better have one.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: But you'll definitely have a scab.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's a for sure.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't, I was like, what am I going to find when I take my sock off?
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what am I about to look at?
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was so painful.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so Blaren Serena are party planning.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Great news.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: Ellie, my girl.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: Ellie is coming home today and God, I've missed her.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've missed her so much.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair is talking about markets, and she says, you know, he's so amazing, blah, blah, blah, you know, he hasn't pressured me about sex once, about once, like, okay, and this is what we call overcompensating.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: This is what we call you bring it up so that nobody can assume that you're uncomfortable with it.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: And this is what I'm just like Serena, you lose me every time.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Serena goes, wow, it sounds like you really like him.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, yes, I do.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: And Serena goes, okay, did you see what I just did there?
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: I showed interest in your relationship.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair literally doesn't even look up what she's doing.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: She's looking for she's like, yeah, so like, maybe you could try supporting me and Dan.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair's like, well, oh, well, have you talked about all the very real reasons you wrote up for?
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: And Serena's
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're getting there.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: She goes, okay.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when you do it, if you're so together, then I'll be happy for you.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, honestly, they're kind of the way to be.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: And also, it's like, it's frustrating when you're a friend who can, not that this is really Serena, but like, I think this is where Blair is coming from.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I think like, one more breakup and get back together.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: They'll be really in this spot.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: But it is frustrating when you have a friend who, like,
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: only complains to you about someone, but then continue to slay.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: You do the same exact things.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's like in the same thing.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: You back to the person.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, well, I, let's like, it's hard.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: It does get to a point where you're like, okay, but I think I'm teeth time.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about this.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: I keep saying the same thing like obviously what I'm saying isn't working or what I think doesn't matter to you so I don't know why you're coming to me with it anymore because you know what I'm gonna say yeah and you're not gonna listen or do anything that I tell you to do so like honestly maybe we should just talk about it and it's also okay then just like fuck them and whatever and just do what you're gonna do but don't ask me to like be like waiting for the update for arena.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: like what relationship there is in a relationship as Dan told you very clearly this morning we're just friends when they were walking down the street when Serena says that Dan made the sound of screeching.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're exactly where he were going with that literally he's on his heli
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: There is smoke on the ground from his healies.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: They're breaking it up.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, it's like it smells like burning rubber and it's a hewave come on.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, Lily boy.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yeah, so I just, I think this is like fair and also Serena.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we are really,
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: Reminded constantly what Serena did to Dan.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's always like, have you talked about like what you did to Dan or Dan.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, we're from different worlds.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I keep forgetting.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: He fully cheated on her with Georgina.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'd have not forgotten.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: I can't keep y'all done with him.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: I keep being like, wait, what did Serena do?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: What did she do?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also like, then an elevator later when he's mad at her.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, wait, what are you mad at her about?
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: Because he's such a piece of shit.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, did you break up with her because of her status?
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's mad at her because she's cooler than him.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: which by the way, you knew it's also why you liked her.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's been giving her for years.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, is he, he low key gives the guy from obsession.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: God, he, no, he literally doesn't like gossip girl was your one wish willow and he would be his one wish willow.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: But like he would want it to be like different serenas.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: He want it to be too many freaking.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: He'd want it to be like, he'd be very good.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: you know what I mean?
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because he's like, I don't want you to actually be Serena.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, exactly.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: I just want the cons up of you and what you look like.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: And that's good enough for me.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'll be good.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'll be perfect.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, the Duchess calls Blair.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: They're now like thickest thieves, Serena leaves.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: And the Duchess basically tells her or asks her, like, I just saw Nate with some girl.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, oh, that's Vanessa.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I lost my place.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: Nate comes to visit Chuck.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck is blazing in his robe.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's been on like a bender.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like a sex drugs and alcohol bender.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, not a sex bender.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: Not sex.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: We will find out.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: And Nate comes in.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, look, do it over.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: So another one.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, the best.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: The best apartment is essentially a monastery.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, relative to what it normally is when Chuck is doing this.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: You walk in.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: You become sell a bit against your own will.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, wait.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: What is this force field?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, oh, no.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: They don't be loud.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: Dan, wait.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: See if you can walk in here.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's the Dan.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: Getting stuck by lightning when he tries.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's just like no one has a more dramatic freak.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: The player comes up the elevator walks right through.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: What's right in?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: Nate comes up and he dies.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: He actually dies when he tries to walk through.
- 26:45[UNKNOWN]: It's a fall drop dead.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, what has even up so?
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then Marcus comes the same thing.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: He falls down and everyone's like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: So when you who, Nate is like, look, I'm really sorry.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: I was like a dick about the loam thing.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: Can you give me the money?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, the person who was giving me the money is now like asking for a law.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just kind of remember thinking it's maybe you could give it to me, but Chuck already sent the money to his financial guy and it's tied up in bonds for six months.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then Chuck asks about Blair and Nate's like, dude, what's going on with you, are you okay?
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then someone walks in and it's like the flight from Tokyo has landed and a woman
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: So let me go to the internship and Laurel is like freaking out about getting everything ready for when a little work.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: arrives.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: And Jenny is dressing this model and she's literally whispering in this model's ear.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_00]: Not whispering.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you think this dress is just so fucking ugly and he's like ugly and she's like ever seen.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: Jenny is like, this is wrong with the dress.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is wrong with your no favorite.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's like clear if this was my studio.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'd never put you in.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, hey, don't shoot the messenger.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: I just swear here.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: I know you look like shit.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but I didn't make the dress.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I'm really sorry, but I can't.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I can change it, and they're just like, hey, Jenny, shut the fuck up, which is like, she's like, way, okay, let me just see if I can go get my boss who absolutely hates my gut.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let me make some changes to her bosses originally.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, she like puts the dress on her and it's like Regina George when she puts on her tank top and it has holes in the boobs.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: She puts the dress on her.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, something is not right here.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: Um, hold on, don't panic and don't look in the mirror, whatever you do.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I will be where it's like, you're like, doing someone's eyebrows and you take one of them
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, look, I'll be right back.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: I can fix this.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, she's, I think it's such an emergency.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then Laurel goes, hmm, have you ever seen Cinderella?
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: Do you remember those little birds that helped her get dressed?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_01]: Do you remember how those little birds did not offer their opinions?
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's be more like that.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: And no, it's kind of five of a go away.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: And now, tweet tweet tweet tweet, oh, and if you know, you know, man of the bus character
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: In between.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: She really is studying on tweeting and in between, you're studying.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: Do you?
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: Do you?
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do you?
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do you?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: The little bouncy curls.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: So Serena and Dan are in central park as we mentioned Dan is wearing regretably a vest.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: Serena's venting and they're like, I mean, okay, so what we have to talk about, like, we'll get to it.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: When I went to it, what is so funny is that she says, okay, stop.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: I will stop my Blair bashing you guys.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's actually a huge deal.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, it should be just Serena.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then, so Serena takes a call from her mom who's in Shanghai, I think.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, under, hey, I don't like your attitude, but he says, saved by the bell.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, no, he's pissing me off.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then the three little girls come up.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I like to call them the minions.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, I like that I think is for them, maybe.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're three.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: There are three.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Nice try.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're pretty little layers in the brain.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: The minions walk up and there are three little girls and they go, how could you get back with Serena?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't respect you.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: We've read everything on gossip girl and it's like, okay, so you're getting the bias version.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: That makes sense.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: I had this exact thought.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, okay, so Dan is writing only his side of the story on gossip girl.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: Except for that he did apparently write something about Georgina, which he probably just wrote because he thought it made him look cool.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, he's like way way okay.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: I could leave it out and see him like the good guy or a bandaluser or I could get a little bit of street cred here.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: I could make it known that lonely boy can get some bitches.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that high pole.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: You could say about game.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's like this mini blonde girl that they're like she's a Serena and it is like back in the day when you would watch like me and girls or something you're like, I'm a Regina.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a Gretchen.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: She's a Serena.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's a she we have one girl's girl here which is nice.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: And she says he's so fun.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: How could you forgive him after sleeping at Georgina?
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, no, that, but that's a really valid point.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we shouldn't sleep with her to these fucking 11 year old.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I didn't, I didn't sleep with her.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: And he's, she had their like, your lips touched and nuts enough.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, well, more than our low.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: But where did our lips touch as the question?
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I know.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you're telling me, um, so anyway, then Serene goes, now I'm telling you to go.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: And like, is that acknowledgment of her, the fact that she always says she has to go?
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'm not breaking the fourth wall a bit.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think they knew an agenda?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Right away, like in the upper east side, it's like, they, it's like, they know that about, like, she is, she is a merch line.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: It certainly seems like she has to go.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm telling you, you're a cool.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, she says, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot,
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it's kind of ready to be, and I'll mention that.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: But there is such a distinct vibe in a museum cafe.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: Would like the one at the natural history museum.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know what you're thinking of.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that one, even the one in the Warhol, the one at the museum I went to yesterday, they are all, they all have the same exact energy.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: Phoebe just was a dyne at Halle's Halle's Halle's all-short museum yesterday.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go to museums.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually visit the like cafeteria because I'm there for the art or the history.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe I just walked past it.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: You checked it out.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: Beyond it.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: You were calling me a freaking big backpick.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: No one's on your slam peg.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: There's a difference.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: So, but that's a later.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: I like to say.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_00]: Why is there a beetle in here?
- 33:14[SPEAKER_01]: Why is there a beetle in here?
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: So why is there a beetle in here?
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just love her so much.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why did you ask, I have to whisper it here because you know, oh my god.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, Catherine is texting Nate like where the fuck are you?
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: So like, you did got somewhere to be.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little bit like Nate, you didn't cancel these plans fully.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like why did you?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: You're in where you are.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: You're just ghosting her.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like she thinks she's supposed to meet her somewhere.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: and uh, Nate's like, I just have like so much going on, which like, to be fair is true.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: And Vanessa, as far as you know, yeah, like Vanessa, do you think you can cut them some slack?
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, well, let me distract you and they're going to kiss and then there are more pings and then Blair walks in.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: She goes, hmm, what an unusual space.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: She's so fucking fun.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: She is so funny.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was going to surprise Nate by asking him to come to the party tonight and she goes, you came all the way to Brooklyn to invite me to a party for a school I don't even go to.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: And there goes, it was for Nate, dear.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: And this is so good and there's a delivery so Vanessa goes to get it.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: So Nate and Blair can talk like normal people and Blair's like, yes, so I'm not sitting back and letting you have an affair with my boyfriend's mother.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: And Nate says something to her like, as she's like trying to help him out, Nate's like, oh, you're actually being nice.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair goes, don't be offensive.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: Which is all that is so nice, don't be offensive.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: In this episode, she is such a perfect hybrid of Alexis and Moira Rose.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: God, she is with the differences.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's zero camp to it, like in her portrayal, which is fun.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: But it's with them.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're aware they're in a comedy, Blair is dad's areas, which oftentimes in like we used to do monologues in acting class, they'd be like, you do a funny monologue and you play, like it was really funny.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: And they'd be like, what if you played it like it's dead serious and we'd always be like, but that's not gonna get the laugh but often times like it's way funnier, you know?
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, so it needs like Vanessa, we're going to a freaking fiesta, we're going to a freaking fiesta, and then Blair calls Katherine to tell her that Nate's gonna bring Vanessa and she goes,
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: Did she say that?
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, but she does say my bedroom floors off limits.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just fill in the horror.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm even surprised she said the first part.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's funny.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't catch that.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: At the Vanderwitzens' Chuck is sending the Tokyo flight attendant out of here and she's Serena.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like,
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: She makes a comment and he's like, well, actually, I'll have you know, not everything is working.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, in fact, nothing has happened with her or with any girl, guys, Chuck and I'll get it up, I never thought I'd see the freaking night.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: No, me either, but I'm like, maybe over use.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, and that's honestly fair.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: And not as honest as we were.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: He says he's tried everything.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: And Serena's like, oh my god, you're not over Blair.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: You are so romantic, you're in love with Blair.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: He goes, I don't have a romantic phone in my body.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but so he decides and like I do hate this.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I'm going to try to hook up with Blair once more so I can fix it Which is like What's the perfect comment Serena says Serena says I'm not going to let you use Blair as sexual drain.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes, exactly Can you talk about it like it's a clog It gets a clog in a system and if he does this with there, but I do part of me feels like he's just like
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: really mean that if they have sex Blair will show that she's also not over exactly because he knows the truth like he's just like not ready to admit it and right now he's like just I don't think he really thought it was going to be over between them and now he's like what the fuck and but then he does congratulate Serena on her and damn it was like the first person has been happy for that since he's very pleased about so be good to Jenny and Jenny again is telling the model how ugly the
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: Why does it look so much shorter to me now?
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, did Jenny hem in a ton or no?
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, because remember she's starting, I think she is starting to, and she's like, it looks so much better.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then Eleanor walks in.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, here's Jenny a shit talking the dress and sees her.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: And Jenny introduces herself.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't realize it's the first time they're like a meeting.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: And now we're a bull.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: And Eleanor's like, well, if finished is fitting tomorrow, it's like way too hot.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: and jaddies like I'm so sorry, this will never happen again.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: Eleanor was like, no, you don't want to tell me twice.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: I know that because you're fired.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: I need people around me that I can trust.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're still hoping for a letter of recommendation, you won't argue.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: And Loki, I was like, okay, well, nice that she's still like that still on the table.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I'm going to see some her wasted.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was crushing that day.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so we go to a new running through Central Park and he looks.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: Capital G good.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: Capital G good guy Nate looking so good guy Nate.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: He runs into markets who looks noticeably less good.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: And he looks old as far it looks because he is dude and also like this is why I'm like really next to them.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're good thing people are getting them confused.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm just saying that it's not about them like looking alike.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's just that
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: They look enough alike that it's weird that his step mom is hooking up with Nate.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if it was Dan and he's still up for the fact that she's also hooking up with him, spoilers.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think I remember that.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: But that's what I'm saying though, is like, it's, they are more the same type than if she was hooking up with Dan.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: Which makes it.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's like another wrinkle to it.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: So Marcus is going to pick up the Duchess.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's talking about how like she and Blair such a good friends and I'm always finding them whispering in the corner and actually kind of scares the fuck out of me and it scares the fuck out of Nate too.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: So Nate calls Vanessa and he leaves her voicemail and he cancels on tonight, which I'm sure.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to really, really make fun of us a thrill.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: She's going to be really happy.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: But thank God, thank God, she has her shoulder to lean on and Rufus.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: Rufus.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: In this scene, she's in a whole three months free law for both of them.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: But she's in the Humphrey loft alone.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: No one else is there.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: Rufus comes in, no one comes in the fact that she's in their home by herself.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: No one is right.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: literally they're like, oh, and I forgot we can't say anything about the nessabbing in here because water's worked.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: So they're in there and she's like waiting for Dan and tells her is that he's Dan is reading another should they or shouldn't they Serena and Dan thread.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, Dan, you are so transparent to me.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: I see right through you, you're obsessed with freaking fame.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: I met a fan more.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so she's like, well, I'll just like meet you at the party Dan, Nate's running late.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't want to tell Dan about what's going on with me, but she does hope Rufus.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then Rufus is like, well, I could come.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: I could bring a day, and I'm like, oh, Vanessa, I know, I was like, where are you going with this?
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: Literally, where are you going with this?
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: And then Rufus gives the best of the same advice, Jenny Gabe, which was like, just call him and tell him how you feel.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then he goes, or you could tell him you left your phone in the gallery and you never got the message.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: Or are you okay?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why would you intentionally suggest something potentially catastrophicly messy?
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: Roofy.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy work.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: As an adult.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: As an adult.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: Insane.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: Insane.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, you know what?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: I love being fucking forgetful.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I have been a lot lately.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I will connect you to what happened, Roofy.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_01]: So we're at the party.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: Blair is telling everyone how great Marcus is, all the stuff.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: She's considering Oxford over Yale now, at which point Chuck shows up.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair gets to tell him, you are living proof a person can't buy class.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck just like not buying still the Marcus thing.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: She tells Chuck she and Marcus have an amazing sex life and Chuck really goes for name Like you are dad center in the middle of this party dead center dead center.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's lights still on.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: No back out yet lights still on crazy work crazy work But it's like fuck I thought I sketched what it for seven 45
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: the black out.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's late.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's late.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: So Chuck's like, well, what does he call you when you make love?
- 41:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then he turned like flip splaring.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, he like touched her.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: Her like collarbone and then he goes down.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: Touches her leg.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: She's holding her hand and they like squeeze or dressing her leg.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's like, have sex with me just once that's all I need.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: What's
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: Then she's like, I'm never going to have sex with you again or something.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, why are you so holding my hand?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then she throws it away.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: So Serena's running late.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: She comes out to me, Dan and her strikes me as classic.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: Serena's name is Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's Doreena's D
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: So the lights start flickering as they go to head out, and it's like pretty awkward as they're waiting for the elevator.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: And so then back to the party Nate is here and he confronts Blair about the whole business thing.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's no Vanessa here.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because she's not walking into your trap.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: is he is such good guy Nate sometimes yes he's like little when he can put the pieces together of what's going on on those rare occasions when he can do the mental math he's like wait that's not right mm-hmm that's not a may that's what the right thing to do it kind of mean girl thing
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so Catherine sees an age.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: She's so happy.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, well, I haven't seen her heard from you like what's up.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: And she says I don't like sharing my toys, especially when I paid for them and they're holding hands and then Vanessa walks up behind them.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_00]: But she has this moment where I was like, this is low key Nikki from obsession because she says, especially when I paid for them and then realizes how neat reacts.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, I'm sorry.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: We, I didn't, I didn't mean it like that.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, my favorite, my favorite line is the, is the stand.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: when he goes to leave and she like doesn't even move.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he says, I love that.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was so good.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: It was so good.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: So Vanessa walks up and then the power goes out in all of New York City.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this party just went over to the freaking dark side.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: And then you hear the new here.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: from something called Washington Heights, you hear?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I've never seen this much money in my life so good anyway
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: So this is a blackout and when that's a Blair's handing out candles to everybody blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm mostly like, hey everyone, I'm like pissing people like, wow, all these Florence Pew, this girl, Lucy Hale, it's like, sorry, you ever seen me do it, yeah, some of us have been doing this, I remember they got go, so it's birth, since birth is on my side, Nate finds Vanessa.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: Marcus is trying to keep her from going outside in the blackout because Vanessa wants to leave.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: Why isn't that as a former New Yorker?
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: Why does he very dangerous?
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was thinking, is it like crime?
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's completely because there are no street lamps.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: They're like imagine a New York, too.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like how many lights you don't even think about, just from like the storefronts and whatever.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's completely black.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: And there's like a lot of people don't have, can't like call for help.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: A large systems aren't working.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's so okay.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oftentimes it's just very dangerous.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of crime.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, cool.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: Just see that out.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so Dan Serena are in the elevator and Jenny is stuck at what or designs.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: You did just skip a lot.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: Um, oh, that I'll just quickly.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: If it will be able to tell you about the candles, so I was going to.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to just fill it in really good.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_01]: So Vanessa, fine.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: Has found out about Katherine and Nate is like, I'm going to tell you everything.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the reason that I keep canceling on you and whatever.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: And he explains the money thing and that he had no other option.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then Katherine goes to Blair and is that says when she says, have you seen Nate and and Blair says, um, no, it's a blackout.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: and caverns like Wolvenessa and Nate went somewhere together and Blair goes, so what?
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: She says, oh, I get it.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: Hot, young guy, aging beauty, enjoying her last her raw before the surgery start.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's called a cliche.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: She's a get over it.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then cavernas Blair, if Marcus does everything she could hope for, and Blair says, yes, absolutely.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: Caverns are really really you're not missing anything from this relationship.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: She seems to know that Blair and Mark are doing it and Blair's like, no, everything is great.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: And Catherine goes, well, you'll sacrifice it every day for the rest of your life.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: Nate makes me feel alive today.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_00]: She has a fucking chastity bill on this man.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: I do think though, and I hope I'm not getting this wrong.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we do find out that Marcus and Katherine, because he's her step, she's her step mom.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: So they have some sort of something going on, sorry for the trigger for the spoiler, but I wonder also if like that's why Katherine's like, you will sacrifice it every day for the rest of your life.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: And if that's how she knows it's not happening, because
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: She probably has a similar deal with Marcus as she does with Nate, like you can't be with anybody else.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_01]: You can only do me.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're right.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_01]: So then we have a stuck in the elevator scene, Dan and Serena are stuck.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and like Dan calls for help and doesn't class act doesn't mention like who he's with.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I'm stuck in an elevator and I'm uncomfortable.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: And it's also like to be fair.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: I am like the business should the the management should
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, they're going to prioritize her resident.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's not about her being serene and Vanderbilt.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's about her being someone who lives in the building.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say it probably helps, especially considering Bart Bass is married to her mother.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he owns the bill.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: There are a lot of reasons why I have a friend who has a connection.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: You better believe I'm using that as much as I can.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not like nursing it because I'm like, well, I don't have that connection.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's not fair.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: This is a situation where you just take the help that's like,
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like you take the easy way out if you can because otherwise it's like can you imagine being stuck in this elevator during a heat wave and like like the power is all going out and you're with your ex boyfriend and like
- 48:35[SPEAKER_01]: Just imagine how disgusting it would be.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's like picking another fight.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and Serena's getting pissed off.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I just think you probably should have said my name.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so then he does call back and he's like, I just forgot to say that I'm with Serena Vander.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: What's in and then he hangs up and he's really quiet.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's like, yes, so they're going to send someone.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, oh, so, okay, so I did work.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, got it.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I cannot tell where we are now.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're at the studio, the fashion studio and Jenny's leaving.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: Eleanor there with a flashlight, cracking me up.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: Eleanor and her flashlight had me L-O-L and she points the flashlight straight into Jenny's face and goes, oh, you're not leaving.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: But she is, I'm not sending you out into a blackout.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can stand until lights come back on like there is still, there's this human part of Eleanor that I love.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: That I love, that I love, but it's almost like she's like a little bit neurodivergent and she just like sometimes can't reconcile the two parts of her.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like the maternal bone as well as like the worker bone.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's very hard for her to like have both lights aren't at the same time.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: It almost seems like because later when Rufus shows up she's like, oh, I should probably call Blair.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like,
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that she's like not worried about Blair, but she's just like, she's so, you know what I mean?
- 49:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's hard for her to like switch tracks.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: But also like, I mean, I don't know the Blair but answer right now.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like she's also busy.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: Blair is busy.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: So Eleanor's like asking for Jenny's opinion on shit.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: And Jenny's getting into it.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think we have to work on our wording of wording.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to quite go.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: She'd like pilgrimage of funeral.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: Which is I think there are a way to make them what Jenny says when she's like what do you think of this neckline that's that's what Jenny thinks of it She's shocked, but then she goes you are absolutely right.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_00]: Don't want to go to your head But it's like they're having a cute little a little moment So at the wall dwarfs Nate has Said everything to Vanessa and has confessed everything to her and There's like everything has to go.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's got it and this for yourself.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're better than this
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: your good guy needs she might as well say that I'm like that you're better than this and then she's like go break up with her right fucking now and then i'll be back and then come right back here and i'm right i will be ready for you yeah
- 50:44[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so Lair goes up to Marcus and gives him a big old smooch, he's in the phone with the building manager.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, he lets have sex right here right now on the floor.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, I gotta get fucked.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm loveling with you and being real deal.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a delicate flower.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: She's got to get him, not a delicate flower.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready for you to thrash me around this, this bitch.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: Um, she was, I need you to make me feel alive meet me in my bedroom.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: She walks up the steps, chuck me over here.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: Shucks her, she's following her.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so, oh god, in the Darnin room, Catherine comes to see Vanessa, and she is like, who thinks it's Nate, but she is like, these feelings are real.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like, it's just for the money.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there is, this is what Catherine says to Vanessa, you're saying?
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, right?
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, my reference, like, I,
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: really like him and Vanessa's like, well, I think you're fucking disgusting.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: And Katherine's like, okay, but you're willing to forgive and forget, so like, aren't you disgusting, too?
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: And she says to Vanessa, as Phoebe said, I really care about him, you have no idea what I would do to keep him.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: Want me to tell you.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then that's, we don't get anything else of their conversation.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_01]: The next scene we got to Vanessa's Vanessa leaving.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: What's yours in her eyes?
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, what the fuck?
- 51:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because I want to see what Mrs. Cooper did.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see her Mrs. Cooper did.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: What did she do?
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so we go to Blair waiting to be de-flowered for not the first time, but de-flowered nonetheless.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_00]: And we do re-entry that I need you to do the accent that this person is doing for the person with accent.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to kindle.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: It is Troy and Bolosario doing a British accent.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: See, it's just a little lighter.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: But the one thing that I am like confused about is because Ed Westwick is actually British.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want a name to talk more more?
- 52:32[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if he was like, yeah, but I've got to be chocked doing a British accent.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so it needs a sound back.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like it just is.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like right away.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_01]: First moment.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like Blair knows it's on him.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_01]: She just does.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: Other things when to say Chuck is significantly shorter than Marcus.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: I did clog that she and also like I'm sorry.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like on perfect matches how that challenge where you like blindfold and then you make out people like you know if you're kissing someone who's an ex or like you've had sex with like you know that I also guarantee you truck fasts is breath smells like the drink he's been having which is probably different than what Marcus has been drinking and I also know that truck fast doubts himself and go on before the other thing is that at when he says it Blair turns around and looks at him and she looks for a minute
- 53:22[SPEAKER_01]: and then she blows out the candle and I am sorry, but I just I know that she knew and she admits it later, but I just know it and they start making out.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: So back at the moment, it doesn't make what he's doing any less slimy.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not saying that.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: I just am saying that I don't think that she's like absolved from blame here.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: Um, Eleanor tells Jenny about, um, um, for troubles.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_01]: She goes in and she's always stores out my car.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: My clothes go ahead and say it.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: No, you probably have the one like fully written.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: I just know I just wrote that she said she felt like a fat cheerleader, a relevant cheerleader.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: She says fat.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, I know fat relevant.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like a fat irrelevant cheerleader.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: Is there any worse feeling than that?
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then I come back here and and it's reinforced.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, wait, yeah, your designs are that of a fat irrelevant cheerleader correct.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_00]: So Jenny's sorry, an Eleanor is like, no, I kind of needed to hear that.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think that, you know, it was a fresh opinion.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: And Jenny is like,
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: Tells actually like the sweet story that I do think is probably moving to Eleanor.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: She's like the what the first like nice dress I ever bought myself was one of your designs and I was 12 and I got it at a consignment store and I would just wear it around my house.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like I would just I think I wouldn't even necessarily wear it anywhere.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_00]: I would just wear it around and it was the first real good horror dress.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, no.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: She said it was one of the first things that made me want to become a designer and as she's saying a journey is shining the flashlight directly at Eleanor's face and Eleanor's like Jenny the light.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's how they're sweet moments.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_01]: So Serena and Dan are fully like fighting in the elevator.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: He starts jumping trying to get out.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: If I would kill him before I let him continue to jump.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would strangle him with my bare hands, if I would let him do need to be jumping in the mirror.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: Just like, what if something snaps?
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what the safety mechanisms are literally also, you're making it hotter in here by doing that.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: So what are you going to do?
- 55:25[SPEAKER_00]: Work.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_00]: What's the plan?
- 55:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not coming out to like.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I love what Serena said when she was like,
- 55:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, so where are you going to go when you get up there?
- 55:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's an open door.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: You scale the wall spider, man.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what do you think is happening?
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: I did.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: I loved when Serena earlier when they were fighting.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, okay, stop fighting because you're just making it.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_00]: You talking is making it hotter.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_01]: The hot air from your hot breath is making it hotter and here.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like just all mad again because of her fucking name and she says to him, oh, life's not fair because it doesn't fit with the way you Dan Humphrey, but she's what me and Caroline have been saying.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you always right?
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: Ding, ding, ding, ding, Bing, bong, bingo, ding, ding, ding, bong, bingo.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, what I'm doing is Anthony's catchphrase.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: It is, and that's just like, that's how I feel.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then Dan falls on like a fucking idiot.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so he's like, and then runs a check on him, like, Serena, stay in your fucking corner.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't even, who cares?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then Serena's like, I forgive you for Georgina.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan's like, I forgive you, too.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I still don't know.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: I still don't know, oh, you don't know what and he's like, we just keep having the same fight.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: And she's this, this killed me.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_01]: She goes, I can't change who I am, Dan.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: He says, me neither.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, that's not the right response.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_01]: The right response is I'm not asking you too.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't want you to change who you are.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_01]: I love who you are.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_01]: But we need to figure out how to make this work.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: Him saying me neither.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also like a thing.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: You're being asked.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're asking her to like change her name and the family she was born into.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: She's asking you to have an open mind.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: Those are those are not
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I also think having an open mind is something that you would probably tell as something you have.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly, like you definitely think that you think you're not judgmental, but you've been told so many times that you are.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: You have shit to work on, Dan.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can't change where you are, yeah, you could.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: It'd be actually be easier to change, but you need to change them, but you won't say anything to change.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_01]: So it's obviously going to break up again, but she doesn't feel like talking anymore, puts her head on her shoulder or just cries, whatever.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and the Nate comes back to the room that he had left Vanessa in, where Vanessa and Catherine had her combo.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_01]: And he's looking for Vanessa, but it's just Catherine and they're in the lights, come back on, and she says, your friend had to leave.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: Was there something you wanted to tell me?
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm wondering how Nate got out of that room.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_01]: Me too.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_01]: Because any of us finds Vanessa, I'm like, I don't think Catherine's letting you leave that easily.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_00]: And then we go upstairs and Marcus walks in on Blair and Chuck who are still fully making out even with lights back on fully making out and I'm just the other make Marcus so long to say anything is like a floor well that's the other thing is I'm like Blair after so Marcus says Blair.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_01]: or whatever he says and Blair immediately turns to Marcus and she doesn't look at Chuck one time, which tells me also she knew because if you didn't know, it'd be like, who is that?
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she didn't have to look to see who it was.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: She knew exactly what it was.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: But she posted Chuck away.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I thought it was you and Marcus is like, yeah, right, punch is Chuck.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_01]: socks him in the jaw, Blair runs after Marcus, and then they're on the steps and we have the showdown in front of fucking everyone in the party.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: Marcus yells at her.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_01]: Did you really not know of his him?
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: And like we see everybody turn to look.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair says, no, I knew it.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I want you.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: And he starts to leave.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, no, you know, my title.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a fool because I actually did want you.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: And she says show me.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then he gives her ferocious kiss on the steps as Chuck walks up behind them.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_00]: And so I guess Nate and Vanessa missed that part I know there's been like I'm like they're like I've been their own gommers It was just like here this other noise So we find sir and he's like I
- 59:09[SPEAKER_00]: Or Vanessa says don't end things because Catherine really likes you.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: And here's in her eyes.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I tell you right now.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out for good.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_00]: So like, don't even consider me anymore.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, just go be with her.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then Catherine comes over to him and says, they have a date tomorrow.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she she informs him about their date tomorrow, but he didn't previously know about so back at water off to signs Rufus Rufus shows up and he's like, hey Jen, why don't you meet this hot young thing?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was just on a date with me.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted I made her walk all the way from Washington, right from the village.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like dude what is wrong with you and it seems like they've been on it I'm like I don't know should she be meeting your daughter like I know it's like a crisis kind of, but I'm also like
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: She, you should have left her wherever you're working.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, how long have you been dating?
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: Because Ruthie has been trying to get her Vanessa's pants.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_00]: wherever you'll wear on your date, you leave her there and you go find a order.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_01]: You actually like, well, I guess I don't know what you do if it's a blackout.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I don't know.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_01]: But regardless, Elinore sees Rufus and is like, oh, she'll call my daughter.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and Jenny's like going to leave.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: I was just like, well, Elinore's like, no, you have to say the dress isn't done.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_01]: And Jenny's like, yeah, but I thought I was fired at which my group is like, oh,
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: time to be dead.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: At that point, at that point, Chris Connor drops to his knees.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: Use me.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_01]: your fire.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, he takes you on your shoulder and puts you down on your knees.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: Begg for free.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: He gets you, but he gets you by the scruff of your neck.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_01]: The nape of your freaking neck.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: Jenny's like, I thought I was fired.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: Elner goes, oh, don't be traumatic.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then she's like, do you think that your dad and his little day could like go get us sandwiches and coffee?
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's going to be late night.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it is really cute.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Jenny's so excited.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: She's a Catholic, like, would you do that?
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: Also, like, I don't know if there are sandwiches available right now.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_00]: Are you friends?
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_00]: Are you a girl's girl?
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_00]: Are you friends with Lily?
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe she's her text.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I kind of feel like Eleanor like wasn't friends with Lily until their daughters became friends and then I feel like she doesn't really know about that but I also feel like they're not like they're like social friends because can you release even like hanging out?
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I feel like it's kind of like when there's a real housewife relationship or there's one
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: woman who's like single and works really, really, really hard and like got her wealth from working.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then there's a housewife who is more of a social, social light.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there's a weird tension typically in those relationships because the other looks down at the other.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_01]: You just might be right, Phoebe.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_00]: So might be right.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: Once, um,
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we go to Dan and Serena and the elevator doors and Serena goes as we walk out here.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: We're freaking done so when we are freaking out up here.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's over and Dan says yeah, I think it was already.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, yeah, I got, I got to take care of this last week.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm good.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: Dan's like, I'm actually not that H word, actually.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_01]: And you're not, for some reason, you're not making me that H word.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm good.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's been over.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, yeah, just like, took us this on to realizing and get used to the idea.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, that's exactly Amanda Batula, realizing her relationship with Kyle is over getting used to the idea and then letting him know.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_00]: Did you see the little pre-Q and A's that they put it back to you?
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, guys, I'm ready to clear up the timeline and like, let people know like there was no affair.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, West is also doing that thing that Schwartz says that I hate with his fingers.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I can't.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: He probably learned that he's literally West is like trying to be Tom Schwartz.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: But he's like, you know what I mean?
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they have similar qualities about them.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like West is like, oh, if I can just like Tom Schwartz manages to get out of everything on skates, maybe I can just like, wouldn't it?
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he would have never done that to one of his best friends.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think I agree.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_01]: So Dan and Serena share one final kiss and then she walks out and as she's leaving Dan's like Serena, I still, and she goes, I know.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_01]: Me too.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: And then the elevator door shuts and she goes, I love you, and that's that's the end of them.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's the end of them.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so let me go to Chuck who is in a limo, I was like a Doppler, hooking up with the girl, and she goes, you're better now, and he goes, I am not sure you, and that's where I'm like, okay, enough for anybody, and I get out of gun.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_00]: If Zach, no, what do you mean not for me?
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear someone, so that's me as my, as their tongue is down by there in the limo, like, then what are we doing here?
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_01]: Then what's in the, what's the point of this?
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you took me out of my house.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not in so- I'm not in so- I'm not in so- I'm not in so-
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is a terrible address and make sure I only have your phone number in as sex-capade sex-capade boy.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_00]: It says it says sex-capade.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_00]: So like I only pick up when I'm ready to have a sex-capade.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_00]: I have a sex-capade and I thought we were on the same page, but I guess I should be clear.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_01]: So we end with Dan and Vanessa on the roof.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's finally getting cooler and I'm just saying again.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like everything had to just boil over.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_01]: Everything had to come out.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_01]: I guess we could get out of this view.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_00]: You mean, we did write down the gossip girl.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't write it down.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_00]: I sure would have, but there's part of it where I'm like.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_00]: Dan kind of shows his cards a bit in this message when he says like you and me.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_00]: I know gossip girl was like potentially me gossip girl in the audience, but with it being on Vanessa and Dan when she says a thing about friendships.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but it's not like, I mean, I don't think that gossip girl the actual blast went out saying that.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_01]: with the picture of Dan and Vanessa.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: I would say thinking about Vanessa.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_01]: I always think of wonder what those are because I'm like, is it just like their relations?
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_01]: I guess so, yeah.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, Dan and Vanessa are talking and he's like, Dan, I can't believe Nate Archibald's a Jiggle-O.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_01]: And Vanessa's like, you can't tell anybody.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan goes, who would I tell?
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's just that one ever.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we know, dude, and everyone you've never met, too.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_01]: How about that?
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_01]: Who would I tell?
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't actually have been asking you last person on Earth you should tell, and you can't tell them anything.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_01]: You can't do this with anything and then Dan's like, um, well, why did you like let Nate go if you like him?
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: And she explains the Catherine told her that if Nate left her left Catherine, Catherine would go to the FBI and tell them her Nate's dad is hiding out.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_01]: So Vanessa didn't have a choice.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan's like, well,
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_01]: I wrote, never mind, I wrote here.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: Dan looks like he's going to be like, what'd it help if I bucked ya?
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_00]: So you're like, I know, but it's a farm around her, it's cool.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that's what Vanessa wants, anyway.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_01]: So, and then we get our gossip girl narration.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_01]: And she says, love may fade with the seasons, but some friendships are year-round like you and me.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you love me, gossip girl.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll read this in Opsis for next week.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_01]: But guys, if you're watching off campus, let us know we can, I'm going to make Phoebe watch this so we can talk about it.

- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: When Dan starts getting cozy with Amanda, the new girl at school, Serena turns to Blair and her minions to step in and sabotage her chances.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_01]: Vanessa also enlists Blair's help when she finds out a scandalous secret about Katherine.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_01]: What more could you find out about her, you know, what more, what more is there?
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_01]: What's more scandalous?
