Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: Keisha, we are here to talk about Temptation Island season
- 0:17Speaker 1: two on Netflix. This is really like maybe the seventh
- 0:21Speaker 1: or eighth season, but it's season two on Netflix.
- 0:25Speaker 2: This is like the stupidest thing that couples could possibly
- 0:28Speaker 2: do for their relationships.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's so stupid. And you know, I love Mark l Wahlberg.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him.
- 0:35Speaker 3: He's great.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him on for an interview. I've gotten
- 0:38Speaker 1: him on the last three seasons, I think. And I
- 0:41Speaker 1: met him in person in La and he's got like.
- 0:47Speaker 2: He is, so he clocks everything and he tells him
- 0:52Speaker 2: straight up how.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It is, but without being insulting, like yes, you could
- 0:58Speaker 1: just be like, are you an idiot? Do you see
- 1:01Speaker 1: what you just did?
- 1:01Speaker 2: And you know he wants to keep his job too,
- 1:04Speaker 2: so it is. It is perfectly done.
- 1:08Speaker 1: He's he's incredible. He's incredible. I've already just been clipping
- 1:13Speaker 1: things off the TV from Mark. It's my favorite thing
- 1:17Speaker 1: to do during Temptation Island season. Now, did you know,
- 1:22Speaker 1: because you and I have never talked about Temptation Island? No,
- 1:25Speaker 1: did you know that that song is sung by Ali Lohan?
- 1:32Speaker 3: Well you did ask me?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know what show we were recording, but
- 1:38Speaker 2: you played that song and you were like, this person
- 1:41Speaker 2: is the sister of a well known celebrity.
- 1:44Speaker 3: And I said, is it Lindsay Lohan's sister.
- 1:46Speaker 2: You're like yeah, You're like, how did you know? It's like,
- 1:48Speaker 2: I don't know, I remember that, yes, yeah, yeah. So
- 1:52Speaker 2: but other than that, no, no, no, no.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And they only did a smidge of the song in
- 2:00Speaker 1: episode one where they were like in the in the
- 2:04Speaker 1: there was one scene where they were like in the
- 2:06Speaker 1: SUVs and you heard not this version, but somebody else
- 2:10Speaker 1: sing in. I was like, oh, I guess they're just
- 2:12Speaker 1: not going to lean into the Ali Lohan version.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Well, I hope she got paid.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Well, oh, I'm sure she didn't. I'm sure she didn't.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But it was it was from like the when it
- 2:23Speaker 1: was on USA. It was like from so long ago,
- 2:26Speaker 1: you know when in their original song. I mean I
- 2:28Speaker 1: had to like do a deep YouTube dive to find that.
- 2:32Speaker 3: And I don't know if she's put out any other music.
- 2:36Speaker 1: No, I don't know what she was a model for. Anyway,
- 2:38Speaker 1: We're not here to talk about that. So guys, today,
- 2:41Speaker 1: when Keisha and I are doing this recap, we're gonna
- 2:43Speaker 1: be doing three episodes, so by the time you hear
- 2:45Speaker 1: episode three, we may be like laying on the floor
- 2:48Speaker 1: of our perspective little studios, exhausted.
- 2:51Speaker 3: We won't have voices.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see how we do after episode two. Maybe
- 2:56Speaker 1: we'll just uh, we'll punt three to another day. We'll see.
- 3:00Speaker 2: She has us working like we are sixteen year old
- 3:03Speaker 2: girls with nothing else in life to do.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Like literally last.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Night I was pretending like I was Celine Dion before
- 3:10Speaker 2: a concert and just not talking so I could preserve
- 3:13Speaker 2: my voice.
- 3:14Speaker 3: It can work out too well because instead of talking, I.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Ate, okay, yeah, and I woke up a little sin
- 3:23Speaker 1: of sea today. So we're going to see how it goes.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It's to see how I got power through. We have
- 3:27Speaker 1: power through. But this is Temptation Island on Netflix. So
- 3:32Speaker 1: which is season two, episode one, and the name of
- 3:34Speaker 1: this episode is Temptations Knocking. Now, they send us the screeners,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and when we first got the screeners, none of the
- 3:43Speaker 1: episodes had titles. And that happened because I was blind too,
- 3:47Speaker 1: so they obviously put the titles in very late because
- 3:50Speaker 1: when they get the screeners, there's no titles. But when
- 3:52Speaker 1: I looked last night, because I watched some of this
- 3:54Speaker 1: last week. When I looked last night, the titles were there, so.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Well, it's weird.
- 3:59Speaker 2: You know. I didn't look until last night, And you know,
- 4:04Speaker 2: I never look at the title.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I know. I'm always interested to see if it's going
- 4:09Speaker 1: to be a theme. It's no theme here.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Oh I like it when it's the theme me too.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It makes me feel happy. But another thing I noticed
- 4:17Speaker 1: is when I went to the pr Netflix thing and
- 4:21Speaker 1: then I asked the Netflix person, is there any still photos?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Because what I really wanted was a slideshow of the singles.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I didn't get one, So you're just gonna have to
- 4:33Speaker 1: use your imagination because it takes me almost until the
- 4:36Speaker 1: last episode to understand who some of these singles are.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Well, I just put it in two three categories. You've
- 4:45Speaker 2: got the white girls who all look alike, the white
- 4:48Speaker 2: girls who all look alike, and the Hispanic girls who
- 4:51Speaker 2: all look alike.
- 4:52Speaker 1: They all look like And what about the guys? Do
- 4:54Speaker 1: you have categories for the guys?
- 4:57Speaker 3: Literally, they all looked alike.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I know. The only one that stands out to me
- 5:03Speaker 1: is Xavier, and that's what.
- 5:06Speaker 2: He's dark skinned and he's so hot, he's tall, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: he's really good looking. And then I will say that
- 5:12Speaker 2: guy Zach kind of stood up because I don't know
- 5:14Speaker 2: if he has book teeth. An overbite it's slightly Lyssa
- 5:20Speaker 2: Edwards from ru RuPaul's Drag Race, but it fascinates me.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I love an overbite in a person like to you
- 5:27Speaker 2: you want me, I am fascinated by them.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I just will not stop staying at their mouth.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Okay, something about it, right, I mean it's not very prominent.
- 5:38Speaker 1: You know who has the biggest overbite in the world
- 5:40Speaker 1: is Carol Rideswell, so she is Real Housewives in New
- 5:45Speaker 1: York and from the previous seasons, but now she's going
- 5:51Speaker 1: to be on the new iteration. She's gonna come back
- 5:53Speaker 1: and kind of help this new group. She's got the
- 5:56Speaker 1: right you've ever seen your whole life.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna have to sit you a photo of
- 6:00Speaker 2: Melissa Edwards because it is the best overbite ever.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Okay, I've never heard anybody that was into an overbite.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But all right, I will I.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Just I talked to me overbyte talk.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Okay, interesting, all right, But another thing I noticed so
- 6:19Speaker 1: on we got the we got the photos, you know,
- 6:21Speaker 1: the still photos from Netflix, and then I went because
- 6:25Speaker 1: I got them last week, and then I went and
- 6:27Speaker 1: looked this week because there's one thing I noticed, which
- 6:32Speaker 1: is everybody's slide. Okay, Like here on the screen you'll
- 6:37Speaker 1: see Kaylee and Summit. It tells you their job. I mean,
- 6:42Speaker 1: Kaylee's just says fashion, which could mean like she works
- 6:45Speaker 1: at the mall. But yeah, Summit no surprise, as a
- 6:48Speaker 1: fitness coach. So everybody seems to have a job here, right.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Scarlett is marketing owner, and Cole real estate he looks
- 6:58Speaker 1: like real estate, and and Sidney is an esthetician. And
- 7:03Speaker 1: Mikey as a live music event host, which completely tracks
- 7:07Speaker 1: with his weird personality.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and then.
- 7:09Speaker 1: We have Jack and Cheyenne. We have Cheyenne as an
- 7:13Speaker 1: entrepreneur in Jack, as you can see, has no occupation.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It just says Jack comma, and.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It is well, I didn't know any of this, and
- 7:22Speaker 2: now so many of the things that we heard during
- 7:25Speaker 2: the episodes makes sense now.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But I want you to know that I went last
- 7:30Speaker 1: night thinking like, oh, they added in the titles, so
- 7:33Speaker 1: they probably went in and added in something for Jack, right,
- 7:38Speaker 1: like he just doesn't work like literally retail, and they
- 7:41Speaker 1: could put consultants, they could put an influencer, they could
- 7:44Speaker 1: put anything. Literally, it is still says as of this taping,
- 7:49Speaker 1: it still says Jack Comma. Blank. If you're looking at
- 7:52Speaker 1: the screen, you can see Chyanne and Jack Cheyenne twenty three,
- 7:56Speaker 1: Jack twenty five, occupation Cheyenne, entrepreneur, Jack Comma, and there's
- 8:01Speaker 1: nothing there.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I'm going to go ahead and guess that these two
- 8:04Speaker 2: probably both still live at home.
- 8:08Speaker 3: She's an entrepreneur of what of?
- 8:11Speaker 1: What? What is? What is? What? What does she have? Yeah?
- 8:15Speaker 2: That to me when when someone says I'm an entrepreneur,
- 8:19Speaker 2: to me, you have hopes and dreams.
- 8:23Speaker 3: You're not actually bringing in a cash flow.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I want to tell you right now, I can't I
- 8:30Speaker 1: when I tell you this boy's hair, Jack's hair. It's so.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I showed pictures this weekend to my son John and
- 8:39Speaker 1: his girlfriend Abam because I was at a fright party
- 8:41Speaker 1: and all the boys have that like weird, fuzzy, stupid hair,
- 8:45Speaker 1: including my son's. His isn't this extreme, but there are extremes.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I showed them pictures I got. I said to Johnaica,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I want you to know that this is people what
- 8:53Speaker 1: people think your hair looks like like this guy.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I doubt that John's hair looks anything close to that.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's not that bad, but it's it's fuzzy in the
- 9:05Speaker 1: front and I hate it, and I'm.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Kind of wondering they didn't show him with it like wet.
- 9:11Speaker 2: And flip back because party wants to think that he
- 9:15Speaker 2: has a Teresa judaized hairline, like it's really low or
- 9:19Speaker 2: something wrong hair.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Something's wrong with your hair, ohld head.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just it's it's bad, y'all.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I wear glasses, My husband wears glasses, Both of my
- 9:31Speaker 1: kids wear glasses, and for the last few years the
- 9:33Speaker 1: only place we have shop for glasses is Warby Parker.
- 9:36Speaker 1: When you wear glasses all the time, like my husband
- 9:39Speaker 1: or my daughter do, it's one of the first things
- 9:41Speaker 1: people notice. So not only do they need to be functional,
- 9:44Speaker 1: they need to look good. So it's crazy how buying
- 9:46Speaker 1: glasses has always felt overly complicated and somewhat impossible to
- 9:50Speaker 1: find styles that you actually like, that you think look
- 9:53Speaker 1: good on you. You're asking six people, six strangers, does
- 9:56Speaker 1: this look good? Does this look good? But there's nothing
- 9:58Speaker 1: that comes close to Arby Parker on quality, price selection,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and customer service. And let me tell you about the
- 10:05Speaker 1: way I got my latest pair of Warby Parker glasses.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They're so cute. I got them through their virtual try on,
- 10:11Speaker 1: so you can literally try and glasses from your phone
- 10:13Speaker 1: before you buy. You just hold it up and they
- 10:14Speaker 1: put them on your face and it's an exact replica
- 10:17Speaker 1: of what they look like when you get them. I'm
- 10:19Speaker 1: speaking from my experience. I've tried other virtual tryals that
- 10:22Speaker 1: feel pretty janky, but with Warby Parker you genuinely can
- 10:25Speaker 1: tell how they look. You just point your camera and boom,
- 10:28Speaker 1: you can see it. And Warby Parker's prescription glasses started
- 10:31Speaker 1: ninety five dollars, so you can actually get quality and
- 10:34Speaker 1: stylish frames at an affordable price. I mean, go ahead
- 10:37Speaker 1: and get two pair. Why not. Warby Parker doesn't just
- 10:39Speaker 1: offer incredible prescription glasses. You can also get contacts online,
- 10:43Speaker 1: eye exams, and sunglasses. They also have over three hundred
- 10:46Speaker 1: retail stores across the US. It's nice knowing you have
- 10:49Speaker 1: that in person option. We have one right here by
- 10:52Speaker 1: my house. The customer service is top notch and it's
- 10:55Speaker 1: the cutest little store and they also accept most major
- 10:58Speaker 1: eye insurance plans. Warby Parker gives you quality and better
- 11:01Speaker 1: looking prescription I wear at a fraction of the going price.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Our listeners get fifteen percent off plus free shipping when
- 11:08Speaker 1: they buy two or more pair of prescription glasses at
- 11:11Speaker 1: Warbyparker dot com slash pink Shade. That's fifteen percent off
- 11:15Speaker 1: when you buy two pair of glasses at Warby Parker
- 11:19Speaker 1: dot com slash pink Shade. After you purchase, they will
- 11:22Speaker 1: ask you where you heard about them. Please support our
- 11:24Speaker 1: show and tell them pink Shade sent you. So we're
- 11:27Speaker 1: going to start with them. So episode one is called
- 11:31Speaker 1: Temptations Knocking, and the couple's coming on helicopters because when
- 11:34Speaker 1: they moved over to Netflix, boy, they didn't come in cars.
- 11:38Speaker 1: They come in helicopters. So thank you like that. I
- 11:42Speaker 1: wouldn't like it either, but I'm just saying, like Netflix,
- 11:45Speaker 1: up the production value.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So Jack and Cheyenne. The way I can remember that
- 11:50Speaker 1: is because it sounds like Jack and Diane. So that's
- 11:54Speaker 1: how I'm like remembering that those two go together. They've
- 11:58Speaker 1: been together for five years. They were so five years,
- 12:02Speaker 1: so she's twenty three. They've been together since she was
- 12:04Speaker 1: eighteen okay, and since he was twenty they were hooking
- 12:08Speaker 1: up in high school, so it even goes further back
- 12:11Speaker 1: than five years. He is her true love and her
- 12:16Speaker 1: biggest heartbreak all in one three years ago when she
- 12:21Speaker 1: was twenty and he was twenty two. He was unfaithful
- 12:25Speaker 1: and she forgave him. But ever since then they've had
- 12:28Speaker 1: trust issues.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Well yeah, well yeah, the trust issue starts with the hair.
- 12:36Speaker 1: If your hair looks like that, then I can't trust you.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I can't trust you. I can't trust you to walk
- 12:40Speaker 2: the dog. I can't trust you to go to the grocery.
- 12:42Speaker 3: So I can't trust you to you. He can't even
- 12:44Speaker 3: wear a hat.
- 12:45Speaker 1: He can't even wear a hat. It will not even
- 12:47Speaker 1: fit or not. He chooses to balance it.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Either way.
- 12:54Speaker 1: So he says, before I cheated, everything was perfect and
- 12:59Speaker 1: I want to my loyalty to her, but it seems
- 13:01Speaker 1: like it's never enough. And she says, I think Temptation
- 13:05Speaker 1: Island is the ultimate test and if we ever get
- 13:08Speaker 1: past it, it'll be a miracle. And I said, can
- 13:11Speaker 1: you get past the hair? I mean, okay, so let's
- 13:14Speaker 1: just say we've got the hair. He does not have
- 13:17Speaker 1: a job, Nope, and he cheated on you.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Uh huh, what do you think you're going to discover
- 13:24Speaker 2: here on Temptation Island?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Uh? That he's a bad dude.
- 13:29Speaker 3: He's a fucking loser. Like yeah, I think that all
- 13:33Speaker 3: the components of a loser. Let's just say we're mixing
- 13:36Speaker 3: a bowl of loser. Those are the three main ingredients
- 13:40Speaker 3: right there.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Nail dip, nail dip. So now we're going to go
- 13:43Speaker 1: to Summit and Kaylee. Now, Summit. It's very hard for
- 13:47Speaker 1: me not to call him submits for me. Yeah, it's
- 13:50Speaker 1: very very hard. But this is Kaylee and Summit. Kaylee's
- 13:55Speaker 1: twenty four Summit is twenty five. Of course, she's in
- 13:58Speaker 1: fashion again, which is.
- 14:01Speaker 2: So funny to me because she was not fashionable at all.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And let me say, this picture of her is the
- 14:06Speaker 2: best that she's going to look because it kind of
- 14:10Speaker 2: goes downhill a little bit for her.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Her look is odd, and it's because she's got giant eyeballs.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, her hair looks good, she just never
- 14:19Speaker 2: looks quite as fresh and good as she doesn't.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Well, the picture's airbrush, never mind.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a fitness coach. So that explains some more
- 14:27Speaker 1: of what we later.
- 14:29Speaker 3: And I didn't know that, and I was like, oh no,
- 14:32Speaker 3: it makes sense.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Now, it makes a little more sense. He they're talking
- 14:36Speaker 1: to Mark and he says, it's crazy how fast they
- 14:39Speaker 1: got together and said, I love you, and it seemed
- 14:41Speaker 1: like an infatuation, but it's definitely real. They've been together
- 14:45Speaker 1: a year and he always thought he would say a bachelor,
- 14:48Speaker 1: but he met her, he could see a future, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: she goes, yeah, when we got together, we had an
- 14:53Speaker 1: immediate obsession with each other, which can be healthy, but
- 14:58Speaker 1: sometimes not. And if you're just infascuate, infatuated with each other,
- 15:02Speaker 1: like you got to go deeper. And coming to Temptation
- 15:05Speaker 1: Island was his idea, so now we also know it
- 15:08Speaker 1: was Jack's idea coming to Temptation Island with Summit's idea.
- 15:12Speaker 1: He says, life is short. Why waste each other's time?
- 15:15Speaker 1: If they're going to go through cycles of being incredible
- 15:18Speaker 1: breaking up, being incredible breaking up, this could be the
- 15:20Speaker 1: fresh start they need. And my note here to kind
- 15:23Speaker 1: of help me get through working through who these people are.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Like Jack, we know because of a stupid hair, rightum,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I said he kind of looks like that actor Andrew
- 15:35Speaker 1: Reynolds and that helps me kind of work through Summit's
- 15:42Speaker 1: look because at first it's hard, it's hard to figure
- 15:45Speaker 1: out who's who, I.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Tell you what with the batch here, you know, the couples, Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 2: it was kind of easy for me to distinguish who
- 15:55Speaker 2: they are, unlike Love is Blind, where they literally all
- 15:59Speaker 2: look just like.
- 16:01Speaker 1: All right, here, I'll show you Andrew Reynolds. Okay, let's see.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I just know Summit because he's got a big head. Okay,
- 16:11Speaker 1: let's see. This is him. That's him.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I can see it.
- 16:15Speaker 1: He's kind of got a little round face, you know.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And I think Cheyenne looks like if Daryl, Hannah
- 16:23Speaker 3: and a horse had a baby.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Oh my god, that would be her.
- 16:26Speaker 3: That's what she looks like. She's got like a very
- 16:29Speaker 3: unique look.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Hi, yeah, Yanne. It took me a while, And I've
- 16:34Speaker 1: got a I've got a slide here of all the
- 16:39Speaker 1: girls together, which helped me a little bit. So Scarlet
- 16:43Speaker 1: is just like knocked dead gorgeous, but with like a
- 16:47Speaker 1: middle of the boob tattoo. And so she I can
- 16:51Speaker 1: like Scarlet because that's like a cool name, and she
- 16:53Speaker 1: looks really beautiful. And then Cheyenne the Daryl Hannah is
- 16:57Speaker 1: gonna help me with her now, and then Kaylee's got
- 16:59Speaker 1: those eyes and not such blonde hair, and then Sydney's
- 17:03Speaker 1: our only girl of color hair. Yeah, okay, so I
- 17:07Speaker 1: did we get back over here?
- 17:09Speaker 3: But they're all rockin'nettes.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That that middle part all of yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So let's go down to Sydney and Mikey. Okay, this
- 17:20Speaker 1: is a black couple, Sidney. They're both twenty four Sidney
- 17:23Speaker 1: and Mikey. Sidney is an esthetician, so she has an
- 17:26Speaker 1: actual career, right, It's good for you, Sidney. You seem
- 17:29Speaker 1: so far to be the only one with a career.
- 17:31Speaker 1: He is a live music event host. I don't know
- 17:36Speaker 1: if that means it fits with his personality, which bugs.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Here's the thing with that title. He could be anything
- 17:47Speaker 2: from like a club promoter.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeap, to like the manager at like House of Blues
- 17:54Speaker 1: for House of Blues events, So you really don't know.
- 17:58Speaker 1: He's twenty four or so promoters probably a clothe that's right.
- 18:03Speaker 1: So they've been in a relationship for a year and
- 18:06Speaker 1: a half and he says, I love Sidney from the
- 18:09Speaker 1: soles of her feet to the top of her head,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and I want my forever to be with her. But
- 18:13Speaker 1: our biggest issue is trust. And he says he was
- 18:17Speaker 1: a player in college with a messy pass. He wants
- 18:20Speaker 1: to show her he's a better person, but she doesn't
- 18:22Speaker 1: believe it. And she says this experiment will show her
- 18:27Speaker 1: if he can be the person that he says he is, like,
- 18:31Speaker 1: no more talkie talk show and he says this is needed,
- 18:36Speaker 1: and she says yes. And my next note here is
- 18:40Speaker 1: how long will it take for Keisha to talk about
- 18:43Speaker 1: his child bearing hips?
- 18:46Speaker 2: My thing is, You've got this girl who's so cute,
- 18:51Speaker 2: she's educated, she's got a career. You are a fuck
- 18:55Speaker 2: boy who has this shape of a chocolate croissant. I
- 19:01Speaker 2: could not stop laughing at this dude.
- 19:05Speaker 3: I literally call me all.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Caps highlighted in pink. How long will it take for
- 19:10Speaker 1: Keisha to talk about his child bearing him?
- 19:12Speaker 3: He walks like.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Everything watching a video you should just should have sugar ass.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Because what he walks is so wullingly like it has
- 19:28Speaker 2: a theme song to it, like are you fucking kidding me?
- 19:32Speaker 3: Right now? It is so funny.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Because later all the guys are out there pumping iron
- 19:36Speaker 1: and him. They have nothing to do. They can't watch TV,
- 19:39Speaker 1: they can't look at the phones. They're not going to
- 19:40Speaker 1: get a newspaper, magazine. They have to talk to each other.
- 19:44Speaker 1: And he's like, I feel bad because all the guys
- 19:45Speaker 1: are over there lifted weights and I'm over here with
- 19:47Speaker 1: the girls. I was like, yeah, you are, you got,
- 19:50Speaker 1: you're feminine, like they are crazy.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I was like, this is not for real, Like God,
- 19:57Speaker 2: why are you doing this too? I'm trying to be
- 19:59Speaker 2: good and you showed me him so and he's the player.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Of the group and he's the player man. All Right,
- 20:09Speaker 1: that was hilarious. Okay, so let's move on to Cole
- 20:16Speaker 1: and Scarlett his name also episode three. I had to
- 20:20Speaker 1: scroll back to the top, like, what the fuck is
- 20:22Speaker 1: this guy? Same? Okay? So, Scarlet is sort of stereotypically beautiful, right,
- 20:28Speaker 1: She's kind of got the fake boobs, She's got kind
- 20:31Speaker 1: of a spray tan, like a fake blonde hair, lots
- 20:33Speaker 1: of makeup, even in the boiling sun. She's very pretty.
- 20:39Speaker 1: She's twenty nine, he's twenty seven. She's a marketing agency owner. Okay. So,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and I kind of believe it. I kind of believe she's,
- 20:48Speaker 1: you know, hashtag boss babe. Okay, he's a real estate agent,
- 20:52Speaker 1: developer and entrepreneur. Entrepreneur at stop. But I can get that.
- 20:57Speaker 1: He's a realtor and he is a chronic blinker. He
- 21:02Speaker 1: is a chronic blinker. Great point.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I don't know if he has dry eyes or what
- 21:07Speaker 2: is I don't know if it's the climate change there
- 21:10Speaker 2: in Hawaii or what.
- 21:11Speaker 3: But dude blinks a lot, and he blinks hard.
- 21:15Speaker 1: He does blink a lot. Yeah he does. So let's see. Okay,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I have put my thing on. Do not start, but
- 21:24Speaker 1: I keep getting these. Okay, let me put this on.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I keep getting these. He is driving me nuts. Okay,
- 21:31Speaker 1: do not start. Thank you. Okay, So she says. So
- 21:36Speaker 1: they've been in a two year relationship, and she says,
- 21:39Speaker 1: we have so many similar interests, our businesses, going to
- 21:44Speaker 1: the gym, traveling, day to day life. We do it
- 21:47Speaker 1: all together. It was her idea to come. They started
- 21:51Speaker 1: out hot and heavy, but she felt there were little
- 21:54Speaker 1: lies along the way, and if you can lie about
- 21:56Speaker 1: little things, he'll lie about everything, which is true. And
- 22:02Speaker 1: he says, yeah, I fly it out, lie when there's
- 22:05Speaker 1: no need, like the best route is just to be honest.
- 22:07Speaker 1: But then I lie, and it's hard, and I don't
- 22:11Speaker 1: know why I do it, but I think it comes
- 22:12Speaker 1: out of fear or just trying to avoid confrontation, which
- 22:16Speaker 1: I think.
- 22:17Speaker 3: A lot of men do that.
- 22:19Speaker 2: They're like, you know what, let me just tell this
- 22:21Speaker 2: stupid ass lie so she doesn't yell at me. Yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 2: but I think every time he lies, he blinks. That's
- 22:27Speaker 2: how she knows he's lying.
- 22:29Speaker 1: But I think that it's similar to what we saw
- 22:32Speaker 1: with Alex on Love is Blind. He's just like, well,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I didn't tell you that I lived here because then
- 22:40Speaker 1: you would ask a lot of questions. And she's like, right,
- 22:43Speaker 1: but now I'm asking more questions because you lied about
- 22:45Speaker 1: where you lived when you just could have said where
- 22:47Speaker 1: you lived.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Like and men are as smart as they can be,
- 22:51Speaker 2: they are still so stupid and they don't want to
- 22:55Speaker 2: be asked a lot of questions.
- 22:56Speaker 3: They don't want to have to over explain.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It's just like, how do I get out of this
- 23:00Speaker 1: without having to have a long time and then get
- 23:03Speaker 1: you're a liar And they'll be like, well, it's just
- 23:06Speaker 1: they think lie by omission is not a lie, but
- 23:08Speaker 1: it is.
- 23:09Speaker 3: It is a lie.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And unfortunately these girls are in their twenties and they
- 23:12Speaker 2: still care when you're in your forties and fifty, we
- 23:14Speaker 2: just don't give a fuck, Like, just I know you lying,
- 23:16Speaker 2: I'm not gonna call you out because I just don't care.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, who's don't Yeah whatever.
- 23:21Speaker 3: He's totally like whatever.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So they meet Mark, who's standing there with his Hawaiian
- 23:25Speaker 1: shirt is gleaming teeth. And Mark meets Kaylee and summit okay,
- 23:33Speaker 1: and again I feel like I got to pull him
- 23:35Speaker 1: up every time we talk about him, because it does
- 23:37Speaker 1: take a minute. Okay. They meet Kaylee and sonnet it
- 23:41Speaker 1: and he says he has commitment issues and with her
- 23:45Speaker 1: it was too quick, too fast, and he became a
- 23:47Speaker 1: shitty boyfriend. And she says, I put my foot down
- 23:51Speaker 1: with him and I was free and I felt better,
- 23:54Speaker 1: and then I wrote him a long list of things
- 23:56Speaker 1: to happen if we were to get back together, and
- 23:59Speaker 1: she's a he says, and that's why we're here to
- 24:01Speaker 1: break that cycle of breaking up and being good and
- 24:04Speaker 1: getting back together and then breaking up.
- 24:06Speaker 3: And they've only been together one year, right.
- 24:09Speaker 1: One, let me just call back up because again I
- 24:12Speaker 1: just forget.
- 24:14Speaker 3: One, the majority of one. Yet one what one a year?
- 24:19Speaker 3: You're still getting to know the person.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Break up, get back together, break up, get back together
- 24:23Speaker 1: in a year, stupid.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Then it's not gonna work.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Like if you're breaking up and making up that much,
- 24:30Speaker 2: this is y'all don't get along. Y'all are friends, be
- 24:32Speaker 2: fuck buddies, or just don't have anything to do with
- 24:35Speaker 2: each other.
- 24:35Speaker 3: It's been a year. I don't yeh.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Being on this show is not gonna do anything but
- 24:41Speaker 2: possibly get someone like.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I don't know, free promotion for their.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Job and then if they have if they have a job, right,
- 24:47Speaker 1: if they have a job.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Not not you, Jack. We're not talking about you.
- 24:50Speaker 1: No, not you Jack. So I'm talking to Ed. He says,
- 24:52Speaker 1: you know, I'm just kind of a free spirit and
- 24:54Speaker 1: Kaylee is more of a realist. And I'm here to
- 24:57Speaker 1: prove to myself that I'm really ready to settle down.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Okay, you don't have.
- 25:03Speaker 2: To prove you already what I'm here to prove to myself?
- 25:07Speaker 2: And how come you just can't know?
- 25:09Speaker 1: Yeah? Right? Why do you? Why do you have to do?
- 25:11Speaker 1: You have to have like a.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Rap battle with yourself?
- 25:13Speaker 1: What are you talking about? So Mark meets Scarlet and
- 25:19Speaker 1: Cole will pull them up again. Scarlet and Cole, and
- 25:24Speaker 1: they say when they were dating, they started off hard
- 25:26Speaker 1: and heavy, fast and strong, but right off the bat
- 25:29Speaker 1: there was dishonesty and so because of that, she never
- 25:32Speaker 1: has felt safe with him again. They've been together like
- 25:35Speaker 1: a year and a half, and Cole says, when we
- 25:37Speaker 1: first started out, I wanted to go full in, but
- 25:39Speaker 1: she wasn't into committing. So because we weren't dating when
- 25:44Speaker 1: we were together, I would lie about seeing other people.
- 25:49Speaker 1: But he says, like, we weren't dating, so he didn't
- 25:52Speaker 1: have to tell her, but if she would ask, he
- 25:54Speaker 1: would flat out lie.
- 25:56Speaker 2: So that sounds like a typical stupid guy thing as well,
- 26:00Speaker 2: because it's like, if I tell her I'm dating other people,
- 26:02Speaker 2: then she may not want to date me anymore.
- 26:04Speaker 3: And I still kind of want to date her. But
- 26:07Speaker 3: you guys, weren't dating.
- 26:08Speaker 1: They were dating. But if she'd say, not exclusive, did
- 26:12Speaker 1: you see somebody? And he would say no, when he
- 26:14Speaker 1: could have just said yes, because what does it matter?
- 26:15Speaker 1: You know? How about you just don't ask? If you're
- 26:17Speaker 1: not dating, don't ask.
- 26:19Speaker 3: There you go.
- 26:21Speaker 1: So they say the state of their the relationship is
- 26:26Speaker 1: that they're wounds. The wounds are very strong because she's
- 26:31Speaker 1: always waiting for the next thing to pop up, and
- 26:35Speaker 1: because of that, he doesn't feel like he can truly
- 26:37Speaker 1: be himself in an open up because she's always waiting
- 26:40Speaker 1: for him to fuck up. Well, if you didn't fuck up,
- 26:43Speaker 1: if you didn't suck up, then one Okay, so the
- 26:46Speaker 1: talking head, she says, I deserve the truth from him,
- 26:48Speaker 1: even if the truth hurts. All right, my Mark now
- 26:52Speaker 1: talks to Mikey and Sydney. Okay, he looks like a
- 26:58Speaker 1: fucking Nike he does. Now. I wonder nobody could take
- 27:02Speaker 1: him seriously. So Mike says, we've known each other since college,
- 27:07Speaker 1: age twenty. So remember she's twenty four, he's twenty four,
- 27:10Speaker 1: esthetician and he's live music host. He says, I was
- 27:15Speaker 1: a hoe in college. And then talking to it, she says,
- 27:18Speaker 1: in college, every time I thought we were working out
- 27:21Speaker 1: or getting serious, somebody would tell me something he had done.
- 27:24Speaker 1: He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl.
- 27:27Speaker 1: And he goes, yeah, it's a trusting She doesn't trust me,
- 27:29Speaker 1: and I get it. I was terrible in college, But
- 27:32Speaker 1: right now I have shown her for a year that
- 27:34Speaker 1: I'm here for her, and Mark goes, so, you're here
- 27:37Speaker 1: to prove to her that your player days are gone,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and he says, yes, Well.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I clearly his prime was in college, because it's not
- 27:47Speaker 2: right now, not physically.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I don't Maybe he was a total muscular stud in college. Yeah,
- 27:56Speaker 2: he has really fallen off that path. I mean, the
- 28:01Speaker 2: personality is still there, and sometimes that old personality will
- 28:04Speaker 2: get you far.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I guess if you're a live music promoter, maybe, but
- 28:09Speaker 1: not for like women. I don't know.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I mean, look, he got her, Yeah, he got her.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Mark talks to Little Diddy about Jack and Chyenne, and
- 28:23Speaker 1: Jack says they've been together five years. Three years in
- 28:27Speaker 1: he went out with a friend. He and Cheyenne have
- 28:30Speaker 1: been arguing and he cheated and he came home and
- 28:32Speaker 1: he had a hickey and she was asking him about it,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and he wasn't totally telling her the truth. And then
- 28:41Speaker 1: she looked at his most social media ad who is
- 28:47Speaker 1: the person he had added most recently on social media?
- 28:49Speaker 1: I was like, may these girls are smart? I would
- 28:51Speaker 1: never think of that. Yeah, And he had messaged that
- 28:54Speaker 1: girl from his phone and he said, I'm still thinking
- 29:01Speaker 1: about your lips and she wrote back and said, which ones?
- 29:05Speaker 1: M Damn?
- 29:09Speaker 2: I wrote, jeez, well, here's my thing. Like he already
- 29:13Speaker 2: had the evidence on his neck.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Literally yeah, He's like, I don't know. I booked it
- 29:17Speaker 1: to a wall a curling iron. I don't know. I
- 29:19Speaker 1: had to wait.
- 29:20Speaker 3: And that did that to me one time. He had
- 29:21Speaker 3: a hickey on his neck, as like, what is that?
- 29:24Speaker 1: He's like nothing, Bruce, what Yeah, Like we don't know. Yeah,
- 29:30Speaker 1: so silly, And she says, and ever since that happened,
- 29:33Speaker 1: he has shown me I'm the only one for him.
- 29:35Speaker 1: But that scar doesn't go away, and I have resentment
- 29:38Speaker 1: and he goes, I've changed a lot since I did that,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and I just want to come home to her. At
- 29:43Speaker 1: the end of this you know, experiment or whatever.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Coming home from where, not from work, where you're coming
- 29:49Speaker 2: home from coming home from your mom's house, and the
- 29:53Speaker 2: talking Eddy says, we really just need to figure out
- 29:55Speaker 2: what's going on, and maybe they're maybe we're too attached,
- 29:59Speaker 2: maybe we're too comfortable, and maybe we will decide to
- 30:02Speaker 2: walk away.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Okay, Mark explains what's gonna happen here. You're going to
- 30:07Speaker 1: be living apart and surrounded by singles that are here
- 30:09Speaker 1: to test you. The real test is when emotions run high,
- 30:13Speaker 1: temptation becomes real and when you were faced with the
- 30:16Speaker 1: choices you never expected. When it's over, you're going to
- 30:20Speaker 1: know the one truth that matters the most. Are you
- 30:23Speaker 1: meant to be together? Or is it time to move on?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Your journey on the island begins. Now, okay, helicopters leave,
- 30:30Speaker 1: They get into their SUVs and here's where we're here.
- 30:33Speaker 2: No, no, let me.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Time to go to their villas and meet the singles.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Here are the so they okay, no, no, no, sorry,
- 30:42Speaker 1: they don't go to the villas. They go to the
- 30:43Speaker 1: next spot where they sit. Girls and guys. Couple sit together,
- 30:49Speaker 1: and then the singles come out, first girls, then guys. Okay,
- 30:52Speaker 1: here are the single ladies. They're in red robes and bikinis. Now,
- 30:56Speaker 1: I was upset last season because they were all in
- 30:58Speaker 1: such mismatched bikini. I said they should They shouldn't all
- 31:02Speaker 1: be in red because then you can't even like ascertain
- 31:05Speaker 1: like who's face. But they should be They should only
- 31:08Speaker 1: have one or two choices. So obviously they listen to
- 31:11Speaker 1: the podcast. Yeah, summer in red summer and floral summer
- 31:15Speaker 1: in Cheetah. But they do match.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Yes, you should have got a produce your credit for them.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Damn it, I need that ten dollars from Netflix. So
- 31:23Speaker 1: the girls are going to introduce themselves and hand a
- 31:26Speaker 1: bracelet to the guy they're most attracted to.
- 31:29Speaker 3: All right, now, let me let me say.
- 31:30Speaker 2: This, like, I am wondering that when these girls applied
- 31:36Speaker 2: for the show, did they all have to show their ass?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Because we see a lot of ass, and all their
- 31:43Speaker 2: asses look just toke, just in different shades. Hey, god knows,
- 31:47Speaker 2: there's not one full bikini on any of them.
- 31:50Speaker 3: No, no, all you see our cheeks.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. And I'm I don't like that that's
- 31:57Speaker 1: the trend of the world either. I'd like regular bikini
- 32:01Speaker 1: bottom is good for me.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Well, because here's the truth of the matter is you're
- 32:06Speaker 3: basically saying you have to be this size and your
- 32:11Speaker 3: ask to look like this, look like this in order
- 32:14Speaker 3: to be on the show.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I don't like that. I don't like it either. I
- 32:19Speaker 1: do like that not all the girls have fake boobs.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I like that because a lot of them have regular boobs.
- 32:25Speaker 2: They did, But I feel like you could be a
- 32:27Speaker 2: temptress and be bigger than what these girls are totally.
- 32:34Speaker 2: I mean, how do you think I got through life.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Listen, I don't look like any of these girls, and
- 32:41Speaker 1: I have a very flat I didn't always have a
- 32:44Speaker 1: flat ass. I had a decent one when I was younger.
- 32:46Speaker 1: But now it's pancake city. All the weight moved. Everyone
- 32:51Speaker 1: loves a pancake right to my gut. Okay, this is
- 32:56Speaker 1: not a visual anybody needs while we're talking about these
- 32:58Speaker 1: hot girls. Okay, I'm gonna tell you these girls taglines.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Okay, Oh, they were bad.
- 33:04Speaker 1: They're always bad, They're always bad. So Jasinia comes up
- 33:09Speaker 1: and she says, good things come in small packages, but
- 33:12Speaker 1: don't worry, this ain't one of them. Jiggles her own ass.
- 33:16Speaker 3: She jiggled her own ass.
- 33:20Speaker 1: May pay.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, I would be mortified if my
- 33:24Speaker 2: daughter were on this show, either as part of the
- 33:27Speaker 2: couple or as one of these girls.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Yes, I would drag her ass home.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I don't care how much money they paid you. This
- 33:35Speaker 1: iss that is very embarrassing.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 33:38Speaker 1: So she gives her bracelet to Mikey.
- 33:42Speaker 2: He gets the first first fucking bracelet goes to this boy.
- 33:47Speaker 3: He looks like the Hamburgler, like he just fucking.
- 33:52Speaker 2: He looks like he is as like a pastry please
- 33:56Speaker 2: to me, like, no matter if it's a often of croissants,
- 34:02Speaker 2: he just is so doe to me.
- 34:04Speaker 1: He looks like he works at Target.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Oh that's on IL five.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Man.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Do you want me to take you and let me
- 34:11Speaker 3: tell you about my career? Yeah, he does.
- 34:14Speaker 1: So. Maya comes out and she and again like it.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Normally we have the slides that I can show you
- 34:23Speaker 1: these people, but I looked right before this, and we
- 34:25Speaker 1: have no slides of the singles. If if we get
- 34:29Speaker 1: them as we as we're doing this, because we're doing
- 34:31Speaker 1: this pretty early. If we get this as we go,
- 34:33Speaker 1: I'll add them. Maya comes down and says, I'm a
- 34:36Speaker 1: Hooters girl, I'm a model, and I want to miss Miami.
- 34:40Speaker 1: But no matter what I do, you'll want to pin
- 34:42Speaker 1: me up against your wall. Oh my god, gives her
- 34:48Speaker 1: bracelet to coal Christelle. You know why didn't I highlight
- 34:52Speaker 1: her name? Okay? Christelle comes out and says, and she's
- 34:57Speaker 1: she's around quite a bit. She says, I'm a property
- 34:59Speaker 1: man and I don't like to give out eviction notices,
- 35:03Speaker 1: but you ladies gotta go, and she gives her bracelet
- 35:07Speaker 1: to Mikey. Julianne I'm a teacher and I'm gonna give
- 35:13Speaker 1: you an F, but not the grade.
- 35:17Speaker 3: There is no way on God's green earth this girl
- 35:21Speaker 3: is a teacher. Well, she won't be a teacher after
- 35:23Speaker 3: this coming.
- 35:23Speaker 1: No, that's terrible.
- 35:26Speaker 2: She just fucked up her entire career to be on
- 35:30Speaker 2: this show, and she said those words.
- 35:33Speaker 1: She gives a bracelet to Jack, which shows bad taste.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Bad taste.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Yeah, she'll need to beach.
- 35:40Speaker 2: The US educational system is bad enough without having her
- 35:44Speaker 2: as a teacher.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Lexi tells us I have an open heart and open
- 35:51Speaker 1: mind and I'd love to connect with someone. Okay, that's fine.
- 35:55Speaker 1: She gives her bracelet to Summit. Tiffany gives a bracelet
- 35:59Speaker 1: to Summit, gives a bracelet to Summit. Lulu comes out.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Lulu says, I'm a playboy bunny, and you're about to
- 36:06Speaker 1: lou lose your man.
- 36:09Speaker 2: God.
- 36:12Speaker 3: She's written out the family. Will you can't do it?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Sydney comes out, Hi, I'm Sydney. I'm into all the d's, dancing, dentistry,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and maybe your d will make my list? Is Sydney
- 36:28Speaker 1: a dentist? She had tech? Okay, and they don't tell
- 36:32Speaker 1: us their name. They don't tell us their age is
- 36:34Speaker 1: either no, which is what we usually get. And this
- 36:37Speaker 1: is annoying. So India comes up and says I've dated
- 36:41Speaker 1: men and women and gives her bracelet to Mikey. That's
- 36:45Speaker 1: all we got from her. Kennedy with an I says,
- 36:49Speaker 1: I'm a flight attendant. Let me know when you're ready
- 36:52Speaker 1: to upgrade to first class. I don't have who, she
- 36:56Speaker 1: gives a bracelet to. And then Carter, I just been
- 37:00Speaker 1: is college and my final exam is oral.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Oh my god, where is Micah from Ladies of London
- 37:10Speaker 2: when you need them?
- 37:11Speaker 3: Because these girls all need an etiquette class and that's
- 37:14Speaker 3: coming from me.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Horrible. She gives her bracelet to submit. Okay, and Mark says,
- 37:21Speaker 1: well it's important to have a good education.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Yes.
- 37:25Speaker 2: If this does not encourage girls who stay in school
- 37:28Speaker 2: and get your education and get your money, I don't
- 37:30Speaker 2: know what else.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Will thank you, ladies. Mikey has five bracelets. Some that
- 37:37Speaker 1: has five bracelets, Cole has one, Jack has one.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Mark tells the ladies you can go move into your
- 37:45Speaker 1: villa and the guys will join you shortly. Okay. So
- 37:49Speaker 1: the ladies move into the villa. They're literally like in
- 37:51Speaker 1: bunk rooms. And then the guys each have their own room.
- 37:56Speaker 1: All right, single guys, here we go. They're all in
- 38:00Speaker 1: white crochet type shirts. They take their shirts offh They're
- 38:05Speaker 1: all in different shorts, some red, some yellows and floral.
- 38:07Speaker 1: But at least there's a theme, okay.
- 38:09Speaker 3: And they all like the girls all had cheeks. All
- 38:12Speaker 3: the boys have abs.
- 38:14Speaker 1: All the boys have abs. Are there. It may be
- 38:15Speaker 1: they're spray on, but they got them, but they got them. Xavier,
- 38:19Speaker 1: Now Xavier is spelled girl x Z A v I
- 38:25Speaker 1: E R, so Xavier usually is with an X or
- 38:28Speaker 1: a Z. But they said, we're gonna do both. We're
- 38:31Speaker 1: gonna be real extra with this, Like they gonna if.
- 38:33Speaker 2: There's five Xaviers in the classroom, they're gonna know which
- 38:37Speaker 2: one is.
- 38:37Speaker 3: My boy.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Xavier says, I used to be a track star, so
- 38:43Speaker 1: I got all the endurance you need. And he gives
- 38:46Speaker 1: his bracelet to Sydney. Xavier is so hot. And I
- 38:51Speaker 1: sent a picture of him to Matt Marr and I
- 38:53Speaker 1: said you might, oh shit. I said you might need
- 38:56Speaker 1: to watch Temptation Island. And he said, that man is
- 38:59Speaker 1: gonna make me lose all my savings.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I think that Matt Mara maybe five months pregnant after
- 39:05Speaker 2: he saw Xavier.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I send him more than one picture. He's like, stop
- 39:08Speaker 1: sending me pictures of this man.
- 39:11Speaker 2: I mean he is like a nice Snickers bar.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Oh he's so hot, he says.
- 39:18Speaker 3: His skin looks so smooth. It's so it's like ebony,
- 39:22Speaker 3: just like dark and smooth and.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Just just he's gorgeous. Now he's got cute hair, his
- 39:29Speaker 1: hairs kind of curly.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Loves his hair.
- 39:32Speaker 1: So, donnie, I am a twin and I came first,
- 39:38Speaker 1: but here on the island, I'll make sure you come first.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Oh my god, just get away from me.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Gives his bracelet to shy In.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I would have no thanks.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Bradley says, I'm a bartender who might mix a stiff drink,
- 39:56Speaker 1: but I give a smooth mustache ride.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Oh my god, it is so cringey.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Like, look, guys, don't judge us because we're older. This
- 40:09Speaker 2: should be cringey to anyone of any age.
- 40:12Speaker 3: This is so bad.
- 40:13Speaker 2: And they think that this is a way to attract
- 40:15Speaker 2: a woman by saying these things.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Zach says, I don't settle for average, and neither should you.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Gives his bracelet to Kayley. Clint says, I've got eyes
- 40:26Speaker 1: like to see, but I'm ready to put some motion
- 40:29Speaker 1: in your ocean.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Is that that black boy with blue eyes? Yes, stay
- 40:34Speaker 3: away from black boys with blue eyes or green eyes.
- 40:37Speaker 3: It is a rule of thumb.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Look at Rob. Thank you, Preston. I own an AI
- 40:45Speaker 1: company and I'm here to prove your relationship is artificial
- 40:52Speaker 1: with them.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Yet, no, that's different. I don't know that was a
- 40:56Speaker 3: dragon mouth that he has.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And when I say dragon out, I mean like drag
- 41:02Speaker 2: him out from Dragontails, the cartoon they used to come on.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Yes, yes, he looks like one of them. And you
- 41:07Speaker 3: do not own an AI company?
- 41:10Speaker 1: I mean talking about are you Microsoft? I mean exactly.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Peter gives a bracelet to Kaylee. Brayden gives a bracelet
- 41:18Speaker 1: to Scarlet. Malik gives a bracelet to Scarlet. Ethan comes
- 41:22Speaker 1: out and says, I'm a circus acrobat, so trust me
- 41:26Speaker 1: when I say you're sitting with a clown and he
- 41:29Speaker 1: does a flip.
- 41:31Speaker 2: You know what.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I didn't hate it.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I like the flip. I did it hate it, And
- 41:35Speaker 3: the Spider Man pos at the end we could go
- 41:40Speaker 3: out on the date.
- 41:41Speaker 1: He gives a bracelet to scarlet Ki.
- 41:43Speaker 2: God thought it was cool either way, Like the guys
- 41:45Speaker 2: were like really impressed with that.
- 41:48Speaker 1: A guy named Kai comes out and says, I'm from
- 41:53Speaker 1: Hawaii and I'm a surfer. But I promise you you
- 41:56Speaker 1: will learn to ride more than my longboard.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Let me say this, I will always know him because
- 42:03Speaker 2: he looks like he's on his fifth dose of prisoner
- 42:06Speaker 2: with those chucky ass cheeks.
- 42:10Speaker 1: On day five and front of his own pack. Why
- 42:14Speaker 1: do you need like the strongest star wars that they
- 42:17Speaker 1: have your cheese.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Like I couldn't get over the cheeks. I just I
- 42:21Speaker 3: couldn't do it.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Chris with the K says I used to play rugby,
- 42:26Speaker 1: so I'm built for impact. But I promise to be
- 42:29Speaker 1: gentle unless you say otherwise.
- 42:32Speaker 2: May Hey, why did you pick me to co host
- 42:34Speaker 2: this show with you? I am not mature enough.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Like why are you doing this to me?
- 42:43Speaker 1: So stupid? I can't get out of the mustache ride.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I'm never gonna get so disgusting, like what? So Mark
- 42:54Speaker 1: tells the guys to go to the villa. The girls
- 42:56Speaker 1: will be coming later, and Mark tells the couples, here's
- 42:59Speaker 1: your last moment. To talk to each other. As soon
- 43:01Speaker 1: as you'll say goodbye, they all kiss. They promise not
- 43:03Speaker 1: to do anything famous last words always okay. Cheyenne cries
- 43:09Speaker 1: and says, this is such a long time and that
- 43:11Speaker 1: was single and Mark goes, it's okay, girl, we got
- 43:14Speaker 1: you and are talking to her. She says, ultimately, I
- 43:18Speaker 1: want to be with Jack, and just everybody remind her
- 43:21Speaker 1: Jack has no job and has that hair. Okay.
- 43:24Speaker 2: She needs a therapist okay, and a life coach because
- 43:28Speaker 2: she she needs to spend a day with us because
- 43:30Speaker 2: this girl has no self esteem, none, and it just
- 43:34Speaker 2: gets worse.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Okay. So the boys enter their villa and so all
- 43:39Speaker 1: that means all the girls are there, and there's three
- 43:43Speaker 1: girls sitting on the couch. It's Lulu, Kennedy and Carter
- 43:48Speaker 1: and the girl in the middle, who I guess is
- 43:51Speaker 1: Kennedy with an eye says, these guys are like fresh
- 43:54Speaker 1: meat who need to unthaw. You call us the unthorwers
- 43:58Speaker 1: oof oof, and she barks at the camera. Unthowers is
- 44:04Speaker 1: not a thing, guys, because unthaw would mean freeze, you
- 44:07Speaker 1: fucking dummies.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to remind myself we're living in the
- 44:13Speaker 2: days of the Hawkatua girl.
- 44:15Speaker 1: That's true.
- 44:17Speaker 2: And this is what happens after when we make stupid
- 44:21Speaker 2: people famous, we get stupid our people trying to be famous.
- 44:24Speaker 3: How would lady like to be.
- 44:26Speaker 1: An unthaw is? Guys, if you're not watching on video,
- 44:30Speaker 1: I have to take a picture of it because these
- 44:31Speaker 1: people are stupid?
- 44:33Speaker 3: Are they cheery? She said something stupid and they cheered.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Her on and they were like yeah. Then we get
- 44:42Speaker 1: two other girls named Tiffany and Sydney. They both like Summit.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Mikey talks to India. She is wearing some sort of
- 44:51Speaker 1: weird outfit with like a head piece that goes with
- 44:54Speaker 1: it like an It's like a dress, skirt, headpiece all
- 44:57Speaker 1: in one, and the I'm talking to when you're in
- 45:01Speaker 1: Hawaii is it? And then talking head India says, you know,
- 45:12Speaker 1: Mikey is trying real hard to give homeboy homegirl vibes,
- 45:16Speaker 1: but I'm gonna trip him up. And then he talks
- 45:20Speaker 1: to lots of people and he says, I'm vibing with
- 45:22Speaker 1: the Big Three, the Three Musketeers, India, Jay Dog, and Christel.
- 45:28Speaker 1: And he says it's gonna get messy. I'm scared and
- 45:32Speaker 1: he goes, man, I didn't know I'd be locked in
- 45:33Speaker 1: so quick with you girls. But here's my note. He
- 45:37Speaker 1: yells a lot to get attention. He's not hot, he's
- 45:40Speaker 1: super fucking goofy.
- 45:43Speaker 3: He's major league goofy.
- 45:45Speaker 2: However, I will say, if he would just stay on
- 45:48Speaker 2: this track of being the cool homeboy, yeah, he may
- 45:54Speaker 2: still have a girlfriend.
- 45:55Speaker 3: At the end of this.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Like, to me, right now, he's doing the right thing.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna joke around with these girls. We're going to
- 46:00Speaker 2: have a good time, but nothing serious.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Right, and they'll all think of me as a buddy.
- 46:05Speaker 3: That's a big bro.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Yeah. And so you think to yourself, how was even
- 46:10Speaker 1: if he was like, you know, thinner and buff, let's
- 46:13Speaker 1: say in college, he still got the same personality. So
- 46:15Speaker 1: how in college would he get all the girls if
- 46:19Speaker 1: he had this personality? Rufie's okay allegedly Okay. So Jack
- 46:27Speaker 1: with the Hair talks to a girl named Carter. Carter
- 46:31Speaker 1: tells us she's a bottle girl, and he says, oh,
- 46:36Speaker 1: you know, when I grow up, I want to be
- 46:37Speaker 1: a club promoter. And she's like, oh wow, that's crazy.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Being a bottle girl's great. He literally is like yeah,
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm just thinking about maybe i'd want to be. And
- 46:46Speaker 1: this is our first indication that not only does this
- 46:48Speaker 1: man have no drive, no career, he has no job.
- 46:52Speaker 3: He has no job.
- 46:53Speaker 2: He has no job, which goes back to Cheyenne having
- 46:57Speaker 2: no self esteem.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Why would you date a jobless man.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I don't understand what's happening here. And he's two years
- 47:03Speaker 1: older than her. Yeah, I know. And he cheated on her,
- 47:07Speaker 1: and he cheated on her. So over at the women's villa,
- 47:12Speaker 1: all the girls are mixing, you know, the four girls
- 47:15Speaker 1: were mixing with the guys, and the girls say, let's
- 47:19Speaker 1: play a game, and they get circus guy Ethan to
- 47:22Speaker 1: do some dancing and some flipping. Uh Kai, the surfer
- 47:25Speaker 1: does the strip tease. The other guys do push ups.
- 47:28Speaker 1: It's I said, more dancing, more bad to working.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Cindy talks to ex Xavier about being from North Carolina
- 47:36Speaker 1: and they're where she lives now is near where he's
- 47:40Speaker 1: actually from. Right, She explains she's an esthetician. Another guy
- 47:44Speaker 1: named Peter comes up to chat. I'm talking to Sydney, says,
- 47:49Speaker 1: my boyfriend Mikey is a big flirt. I know he's
- 47:51Speaker 1: probably flirting with people you Okay, I didn't know. I
- 47:54Speaker 1: didn't know if you were coughing because you were coughing
- 47:56Speaker 1: or you're coughing because you're laughing. Okay, sorry, Sydney. He says,
- 48:00Speaker 1: Mikey is a big flirt. I know he's probably over
- 48:02Speaker 1: there flirting with everybody. Well, if you're call me, goofy.
- 48:08Speaker 1: And Kaylee tells the guys, you know, somebody is really
- 48:12Speaker 1: like outgoing and flirty. So I'm a little worried because
- 48:14Speaker 1: I'm not really like that.
- 48:16Speaker 2: No, she is a wet towel. She has no personality
- 48:21Speaker 2: at all. She's all eyes, that's all she is.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. So the next day the guys and girls
- 48:31Speaker 1: go meet Mark and they're going to do, you know,
- 48:34Speaker 1: pick their first dates. Okay, so they get to see
- 48:37Speaker 1: each other after the first day, but they don't get
- 48:39Speaker 1: to interact with each other. Right, So the single guys
- 48:44Speaker 1: come out and Cheyenne picks Braiden, aged twenty five, and
- 48:51Speaker 1: the talking head Braiden is like that guy she's with Jack.
- 48:55Speaker 1: He looks like he's twelve, Like what's up his hair?
- 48:58Speaker 2: Like, oh my god, he looks like so his mom
- 49:01Speaker 2: should say did you or when are you gonna get
- 49:03Speaker 2: a haircut.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Yes, looks I gave you my debit card to go
- 49:06Speaker 3: get into haircut. Why haven't you gotten a haircut?
- 49:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Grandma's coming next weekend. She's gonna be very upset
- 49:12Speaker 1: if your hair looks like that.
- 49:13Speaker 3: I mean, he's skinny. I don't know that. He's very tall.
- 49:17Speaker 2: He's not muscular like I don't know, unless he's got
- 49:20Speaker 2: the biggest dick on planet Earth.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Well, let's look. Let's look. He is. He is not
- 49:27Speaker 1: that much taller than her with the hair he is,
- 49:29Speaker 1: But I bet if you flotten that hair down, they'd
- 49:31Speaker 1: be the same size.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's nothing to him.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Okay, So Cheyenne picks a guy named Brayden. Sydney picks
- 49:43Speaker 1: x Xavier. Scarlet picks Bradley, the guy with the mustache.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Ride Kaylee picks Peter. I don't know anything about him. Okay.
- 49:54Speaker 1: The single ladies come out. Jack picks Carter, Mikey picks India,
- 50:01Speaker 1: and he says, India feels like a best friend. I
- 50:05Speaker 1: got my three amigos, j Justinia, Chrystelle and India. He's
- 50:09Speaker 1: saying this to everybody, and Sydney goes, that's his personality,
- 50:12Speaker 1: of course, his personality is to cling. So he's clinging
- 50:17Speaker 1: to three girls that he met yesterday.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Yesterday and already has given them a nickname.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Yeah, the Three Musketeers, a Jay Dog and all that.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Cole picks a girl named Tiffany. Summit picks a girl
- 50:29Speaker 1: named Julianne. So, I can't remember what she looks like.
- 50:34Speaker 2: She's really she has a weird kind of voice, but
- 50:38Speaker 2: she's really cute.
- 50:41Speaker 1: I can't remember what she's like. Her voice sounds like
- 50:43Speaker 1: she's got a very long throat. Hmm okay, Yeah, she's
- 50:47Speaker 1: cute though. So they're going to do a group day.
- 50:51Speaker 1: They get, you know, all the group dates. So ladies,
- 50:53Speaker 1: take your dates and head towards the water. So the
- 50:56Speaker 1: talking head Sydney goes looking over at Mikey goes, oh,
- 51:00Speaker 1: he looks all sad and broken hearted, but when the
- 51:02Speaker 1: girls came out, he's all he he ha ha three amigos. Yeah,
- 51:06Speaker 1: and also it's girls, so it's a meguzz good point,
- 51:12Speaker 1: A good point, Sidney. The guy's chat and Mikey's like, god,
- 51:18Speaker 1: I mean, she just picked that guy, so she didn't
- 51:19Speaker 1: even give a fuck.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Supposed to do.
- 51:23Speaker 1: And meanwhile he's all he he ha ha, three amigos,
- 51:25Speaker 1: and those are my girls. Those are my three girls.
- 51:28Speaker 1: And he's mad because she picked a date, which is
- 51:30Speaker 1: what they were supposed to do.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Yeah, because she picked a date that he knows he
- 51:35Speaker 2: could not be in a running match or anything like that.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Handled to that guy. Nope, and and the guys are like, man,
- 51:44Speaker 1: the bonfire, I hope it's not bad. And then Mikey
- 51:47Speaker 1: is sitting there by himself and he goes, I don't know.
- 51:51Speaker 1: And then and the producer says, what's coming up for you?
- 51:53Speaker 1: Like why are you so upset? And he goes, I
- 51:55Speaker 1: just really I love her. He starts balling crying.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Well, we because he's he's linked up with the Three
- 52:02Speaker 2: amigos and they're all on their periods.
- 52:04Speaker 3: That's why.
- 52:07Speaker 1: This is our first indication. Because I wrote, oh, poor guy,
- 52:10Speaker 1: He's like, actually.
- 52:11Speaker 3: I did too.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I was like, poor thing.
- 52:14Speaker 3: I actually goes oh no, I felt so.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I was like, maybe he is a good guy and
- 52:21Speaker 1: maybe he really has changed and he really needs to change.
- 52:24Speaker 1: And he wasn't. He was just like that in college,
- 52:26Speaker 1: but now he's going to try to be the goofball thing.
- 52:31Speaker 3: I thought the same thing.
- 52:33Speaker 1: That's the end of our episode. Next episode, We're not
- 52:39Speaker 1: gonna feel bad for Mikey. Mm hmmmmm over then episode
- 52:45Speaker 1: after that, it all goes downhill.
- 52:49Speaker 3: From this point. He had us right here, here, here,
- 52:52Speaker 3: here was his chance. Yeah, and he fucking blows it.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Mikey, Mikey stick with being a goofball, stick with a follow.
- 53:00Speaker 3: He had the perfect plan and he couldn't. He just
- 53:03Speaker 3: can't stick with it.
- 53:05Speaker 1: All right, that's the end of episode one. Everybody, Now,
- 53:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna remind you Temptation Island. All nine episodes are
- 53:10Speaker 1: on the ten dollar level of Pink Shade Prime. If
- 53:13Speaker 1: you're listening to episode one, you might be hearing it
- 53:15Speaker 1: on the free feed, and good for you, aren't you lucky?
- 53:18Speaker 1: But the rest of them, hey, free feed two through
- 53:21Speaker 1: nine is gonna be over on the ten dollars level
- 53:23Speaker 1: of Prime. This is a little preview if you're on
- 53:26Speaker 1: the free feed, you guys. Temptation Island is the joy
- 53:29Speaker 1: of my year every time it comes out. When I'm
- 53:31Speaker 1: when I when I see Mark Wahlberg posting from from Hawaii,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, Mark, you doing Temptation Island? And he
- 53:41Speaker 1: writes back It's like, I can't say, but he always
- 53:43Speaker 1: is he's always playing golf and look at real tan
- 53:47Speaker 1: and come on with the best advice.
- 53:49Speaker 2: He does, yes, like I wish I could have a
- 53:51Speaker 2: phone call like pep talk with him every fucking week.
- 53:54Speaker 1: And you know he told me when I've interviewed him
- 53:56Speaker 1: and when I met him in person that literally none
- 53:59Speaker 1: of that is fed into his ear. He believes he
- 54:02Speaker 1: does not know what that video is going to be
- 54:04Speaker 1: before they see it. He has not watched the dailies,
- 54:06Speaker 1: he has not watched the footage. He plays golf and
- 54:09Speaker 1: then he goes to the bonfire watches it with us
- 54:12Speaker 1: and it all is off the dome.
- 54:14Speaker 3: I totally believe that he's just that good.
- 54:17Speaker 1: He's just that good.
- 54:18Speaker 3: He's good.
- 54:19Speaker 1: He should host every reunion of every show like You're
- 54:25Speaker 1: in Love is Blind. He was posting like, let me
- 54:28Speaker 1: at some of these guys.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Because Nick, I mean, Nick tried this season. He tried,
- 54:35Speaker 3: he needed to try hard.
- 54:36Speaker 1: But Mark would have been like, let's look inward, Chris,
- 54:39Speaker 1: why are you a massage in his pig?
- 54:42Speaker 3: And why are you so little?
- 54:44Speaker 1: And my bucket red? Why is your face red? Are
- 54:51Speaker 1: you on cocaine? Are you doing cocaine in the bathroom?
- 54:53Speaker 3: Okay, cocaine is not good.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Everybody. That's it. Everybody, please make sure you're following us
- 54:59Speaker 1: on social media, a pink shape pod and a lever
- 55:01Speaker 1: lounge Askeisha. And again, if you want the rest of
- 55:04Speaker 1: these episodes, or you're already on the Prime, that's where
- 55:08Speaker 1: they are. Thanks again, Here we go.
