Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
May 16th, 2026. And well, just as I was hoping,
• 0:26
just as I was figuring, just like I was thinking, San
• 0:28
Antonio, Wimby went in there, bullied them, took their lunch
• 0:32
money. Now they're heading back home,
• 0:34
going to eat some tacos, rest up, get ready to play OKC.
• 0:38
It's going to be a fun matchup. We'll see that next round, so
• 0:42
get that win, see if we can double up on this momentum, keep
• 0:45
it moving forward. So I'm looking at the NHL today,
• 0:50
all right? I'm looking at this Buffalo,
• 0:52
Montreal matchup now. Buffalo's been quite the
• 0:56
Cinderella darling of such of sorts this year.
• 0:59
You know, getting rid of their playoff drought, much like the
• 1:02
Bills did back a few years ago. Unfortunately, I think that ends
• 1:07
tonight. So here's where I see the value.
• 1:10
It's in the total now. I'm not saying I know anything
• 1:13
about these teams. I'm just saying I look at this
• 1:15
hockey, I look at the numbers, I see what the situation is.
• 1:19
I know where the desperation is going to come.
• 1:21
It's going to be late. Buffalo is going to be down.
• 1:24
They're going to end up pulling the goalie.
• 1:26
You're going to have some empty Nets.
• 1:28
And I think there's where there's going to be some late
• 1:30
goals either from them pressing and getting that goal from their
• 1:34
side or giving up that empty net.
• 1:36
So right now, total sitting at 6 1/2 and I'm getting plus money.
• 1:40
I mean, this is music to my ears, right?
• 1:42
So if I'm getting +105 and I think this lines up with what I
• 1:45
think is going to happen anyways, oh, you know, I'm a
• 1:48
sucker. You know, I'm going to take
• 1:49
that. So that's what we're going to
• 1:51
do. I'm going to put our money down.
• 1:52
Hopefully we can get a little more back than we put down.
• 1:55
We're not going to have to bet 11 to get 10.
• 1:57
We're going to have to bet 10 to get 11.
• 2:00
That's great. So we're going to go over 6 1/2
• 2:04
total goals. That +105 between the Buffalo
• 2:07
Sabres and Montreal called Nadi owns in tonight's NHL Eastern
• 2:13
Conference second round playoff hockey action.
• 2:16
See anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:18
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:19
  I don't know why I was French. I know I want surprise.
