  SPEAKER_03: I would say our second main client in that space would be those that are teaching classes or holding things like painting sips, um, painters.

  SPEAKER_03: I know we came up with a whole list at one point.

  SPEAKER_02: There is a lovely green room, and it has a dressing uh privacy area uh as well within that green room.

  SPEAKER_02: Upstairs is set up more like a classroom setting.

  SPEAKER_02: So that's where I personally will be doing my photography classes.

  SPEAKER_02: So we will um, you know, learn the concepts upstairs and then go downstairs and apply what we've learned.

  SPEAKER_02: But as far as a rental for you all, you get uh access to the entire space, you know, um, and we do it on hourly rentals and we have monthly memberships.

  SPEAKER_02: And this is how I started, you know, within the business.

  SPEAKER_02: So it was a co-op, it was multiple photographers.

  SPEAKER_02: We rented the space out, and I wanted to give that opportunity uh to others as well that are starting out and things like that.

  SPEAKER_02: And then the beautiful thing is that you have access to, you know, uh my experience, my knowledge, because I'm only three doors away.

  SPEAKER_02: So if you run into anything down there, you can just walk down here, tap on the door, and I'll come down, help you out, you know.

  SPEAKER_02: You feel the light a bit, you know, move a light around, move one of the um diffusers.

  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, so like seriously, I uh because I remember um the first place, the first studio that I rented, you know, uh, well, I got introduced to it because they hosted a uh studio lighting class at the studio.

  SPEAKER_02: And during that class, that's when they told us that the studio was available.

  SPEAKER_02: And um I was like, okay, you know, so I started renting there, and that's I just learned lighting, you know, trial and error.

  SPEAKER_02: I was just in there.

  SPEAKER_02: And it just felt good being around other creatives too, because I was really just starting out, you know, and to be around other creatives at uh varying levels uh within their journey.

  SPEAKER_02: Some had multiple years of experience, some were new just like me.

  SPEAKER_02: But being around like-minded people, it just helps, you know.
• 5:49
  SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, hey, we have the opportunity to create the same type of um environment for the next generation.

  SPEAKER_02: So took it and ran with it.

  SPEAKER_02: So I hope, you know, people really tap into that opportunity because you know, some when you're starting out, you're trying to build your clientele.

  SPEAKER_02: You may not need a full-time dedicated space, right?

  SPEAKER_02: But when you get these different shoots as you're growing, you at least have a space that has all the equipment and stuff that you need.

  SPEAKER_02: Because see, the place that I first rented from, well, the first one they did, but it was it was very, it wasn't as nice as the equipment that we offer.

  SPEAKER_03: I was about to say it ain't what we handle.

  SPEAKER_02: It wasn't as listen, starting from the bottom.

  SPEAKER_02: All the way, but um, yeah, at least you have the equipment and stuff there available and ready for you, you know, and as you continue to build, so you can start off like hourly.

  SPEAKER_02: So let's say you only get, you know, one client, you you convince one person to pay you.

  SPEAKER_02: One, all it takes is one.

  SPEAKER_02: And then you can rent the space on an hourly basis, but then as you build your clientele, like, okay, now I want to transition into a monthly membership where you know you pay a little bit more and you get more dedicated hours every single month on it.

  SPEAKER_03: Out of all the studios that I've seen on multiple platforms, it is very rare you find a studio that has all these things included at our rate, plus uh what do you call those things?

  SPEAKER_02: So as he's ending his session, I'm getting ready to start mine, or vice versa, and we would just be in there just chopping it up.

  SPEAKER_02: But what you just got finished shooting, and you know, what am I shooting?

  SPEAKER_02: And then we would teach each other techniques that we learned.

  SPEAKER_02: We we were starting out, you know, and we were teaching each other stuff, and then we worked on a couple of um projects together.

  SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, it's not just okay, I got a space to shoot and host my clients, because even outside of, especially for the membership part, you pay in this membership, and if you don't have a booking, you could still use those hours and come in and try out new techniques.

  SPEAKER_02: So uh a lot of the projects that I shot and stuff, it was me just testing out new things.

  SPEAKER_02: And then that those testings, if you will, transferred over into paid and commissioned gigs and stuff because I learned something new and then I tried it out on a paid client, they loved it, and then now they refer to the next and stuff.

  SPEAKER_02: So it's just I just see a lot of value out of that versus, you know, because I couldn't imagine it may maybe because this is not the journey that I had of hey, start my photography business and I had my own studio at the gate.

  SPEAKER_02: Probably just sitting there looking, looking at how I'm looking, you know what I mean?

  SPEAKER_02: But being in the space with others, oh, it was just great.

  SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I I I think that the creators that are sitting here uh watching us and that watch us on a regular basis, uh, this message is for y'all, you know, and uh it's more so of a thing of get started, you know.

  SPEAKER_02: But it's just not creating a community because I think that the community is here, it exists, you know, is just providing more opportunities for the community to engage with each other, you know.
