- 0:01Greetings everyone, Welcome to the Honey Badger Radio. This what would you say,
- 0:08greetings, yes, greetings, greetings. I was just I was just
- 0:13reiterating the green Yes, yeah, big g greetings and welcome to Honey Badger
- 0:21Radio. You may have noticed that I've done a little little reorganizing. I
- 0:25move some things around so that the chat gets a prominent position on the screen,
- 0:32and that way you guys can see each other interacting, and also those
- 0:36of you guys who are rumble can be a part of the action. I
- 0:40believe that rumble me just drop some some gifts in there so that they will
- 0:46show up. Yes, they do work, and people on Twitch and d
- 0:53live and even I don't know how Twitter's chat works or Facebook's chat works,
- 0:58but yeah, all of it. So, yeah, it's a little you
- 1:00know, it does something. They have a different system, but the Facebook's
- 1:06chat is byzantine. Yeah, I'm fairly certain there's at least twelve different forms
- 1:11of chat on Facebook. Yeah, it's weird. When I was testing this
- 1:15social stream Ninja, I would type test into super social stream Ninja, which
- 1:21is what I'm using to merge all the chats together. And so if I
- 1:23put in a test in there. It'll send that message to every you know,
- 1:29destination, so it'll be it'll show up on the Twitch chat, it'll
- 1:33show up in the Rumble chat, show up in the YouTube chat. But
- 1:36it shows up in every comment section on Facebook. So there's random like posts
- 1:42on Facebook that say test by me, Like, I don't even know why
- 1:48that is. So Facebook's got a weird I'm testing everything at once, basically
- 1:59is what on Facebook. And I don't know how to connect Twitter, so
- 2:04I can't sweat that right now. But hopefully there are people watching on Twitter.
- 2:08Slash x Yeah see there's some cool doges in the chat will feature them
- 2:14so you guys can see there's Mangaka ninety two and uh yeah, but it
- 2:22should be. It's an ongoing process, it is, but you know,
- 2:24it looks good. I'm happy with the treasure. The treasure is the test
- 2:30comments we leave all over the place for people to boggle at in fifty years
- 2:35along the way. Mm hmm. That's that's the reward, is it?
- 2:38The treasure? The treasure was the we made alone. Oh it's the the
- 2:45real blank are the friends we made out along the way? Yeah? Oh
- 2:49yeah, the real something? Whatever? It is. The technical difficulties we
- 2:53dealt with along the way. Okay, all right, but anyway we're gonna
- 2:58be Yeah, so we're gonna be getting to this video, which I will
- 3:01be showing with you guys in a moment. It is from a YouTuber named
- 3:05Chris Williamson, and he talks I don't know how we started off, but
- 3:09I think it wasn't The rabbit Hole is currently in, which is essentially men
- 3:15masculinity, dating, gender relations, things like that, and he is talking
- 3:21to Allison's good friend Alex date psych So you know, I never would have
- 3:28predicted that I would be getting into it with a dating coach. Yeah.
- 3:34Well, it's in fact, I went up to bat for the pickup artists,
- 3:37Like, however many years ago. I'm like, you know, they're
- 3:39just helping guys be social. They got a bit of a broie language,
- 3:45but it's not like what they're doing is really that bad when you look at
- 3:47it and everybody's like, oh, they're the devil, and then of course
- 3:53all the insults are the devil. All Yeah, Now the pickup artists and
- 3:57the dating coats are going after the in cell. Oh, by the way,
- 4:00I apologize if he's picking up any sounds in the kitchen. My husband
- 4:03is making lef sack. I don't hear anything that is Norwegian potato fat fat
- 4:09flat bread. Yeah, so that's that's gonna be the sounds being picked up
- 4:15by the mic. But yeah, I didn't really expect this to get into
- 4:18an argument with a dating coach of all things. But he's essentially shaming men
- 4:25for being afraid of the current landscape or having any kind of negative feeling towards
- 4:31the current dating landscape, even though the current dating landscape, let's face it,
- 4:35is controlled by feminist initiatives. Mm hm, you know, and they
- 4:40don't particularly like men, or at least they don't like heterosexuality. So that's
- 4:46true, you know. Okay, so I should do my thing, right,
- 4:48Brian the thing? Yeah, do your thing, and then I have
- 4:53already I got a super child from our last maintaining frame that I'll read out.
- 4:56But you go ahead and do your thing, and then we'll get into
- 4:59it. All right. So if you want to send us a message anytime
- 5:01during the show, you can do so it feedbadger dot com slash just the
- 5:04tip. We get the full benefit of whatever funds you send our way,
- 5:09and you get the benefit of avoiding YouTube's minds field of sensor suggestion. I
- 5:15don't want censorship seems like such a harsh word. I'm sure they wouldn't want
- 5:19to use the word censorship, So sensor suggestions, YouTube sensor suggestions. So
- 5:26anyway we want to avoid that, go to feed the badger dot com,
- 5:29slash just the tip and throw a few shekels in the hat. Tell us
- 5:31we're not screaming into the void about these issues. And maybe maybe the best
- 5:38way to approach this is not to continue to shame men for being afraid of
- 5:41an environment that feminists and feminist initiatives are deliberately making more and more perilous for
- 5:47them. I just I just got this too much peril. It's too much
- 5:51peril for you. Galahad. No, No, not Galahad. Uh you
- 5:58don't you personally? No, no. You've seen the Knights of the Holy
- 6:01Grail, right, Oh it's been a long time, but I know the
- 6:04Money Python and the Holy Grail. Yeah, money Python, the Holy Grail.
- 6:10Yeah, the the Castle Anthrax, which is their holy Braille shape beacon
- 6:16which they set a light and they oh yeah it was Galahad. I'm pretty
- 6:21sure it was Galahad. The Chase, and it was the oh yeah,
- 6:27yeah Maiden and nineteen and a half to twenty one or something. Yeah,
- 6:32and then this banking Okay, sorry, that was a ridiculous. Aside,
- 6:35go watch it though it's hilarious. It'd probably be a lot more fun than
- 6:40listening to dating coaches. But anyway, what was I going to say?
- 6:45All Right, so if you want to avoid that, send us a message
- 6:47through feed Thebadger dot com slash uh just the tip. Actually, I think
- 6:53I think I finished that, and I was getting into, you know,
- 6:56instead of telling men that their their cowards for not facing the peril, yeah,
- 7:00maybe we should start telling feminists to make it a little less perilous.
- 7:05Yeah, I mean they tell us, you know, feminists tell us we
- 7:10want to make it. I mean the feminists who are doing the initiatives.
- 7:12I'm not talking about coffee shop feminists who don't know anything about feminism, let's
- 7:15face it. I mean talking about the ones who got their fingers on I
- 7:20don't know, the blackmail material for legislators and they're using it to get what
- 7:25they want done. Talking about those feminists, the ones with power, the
- 7:28ones with influence, the ones with a voice. They want to make dating
- 7:34as difficult as possible for men in the hopes of preventing rape. How that
- 7:44works, I don't know. I mean, they want to have control over
- 7:47these cultural landscapes, and presumably it's because they say they're going to prevent rape.
- 7:54So even though there's never been a study that's made a causal connection between
- 7:58rape jokes and rape, feminists are there providing the censorship that will end.
- 8:03Oh, I just got us demonetized it as grape. Oh I don't.
- 8:07Oh whatever, We're not monetized anyway, that's true. Yeah, I don't
- 8:13even know what you're talking about. All Right, Well let's let's let's watch,
- 8:18okay, beginning I got us. Yeah, we're going to well I'm
- 8:20at the beginning, but I'm gonna I was gonna offer up like what we
- 8:24could go through because it's like a one hour and forty minute podcast. We're
- 8:28not doing the whole thing. But before we get into that, I'm going
- 8:31to Uh, I got a super chow from before that I would like to
- 8:37read out. So, uh, that's the first thing I want to do.
- 8:43And so then this is from well the person, This is a super
- 8:48chowd I was sent to our discord a couple of days ago, and it's
- 8:50from it, says maintaining frame seventy five. Women do not understand numbers.
- 8:54They gave us five dollars, thank you, and they say, I have
- 8:58an additional point to support Brian's theory that women do not understand numbers, such
- 9:03as the six sixty six, six foot tall, six inch penis or six
- 9:07pack six figure salary. Feminists frequently accused men of competing with each other based
- 9:13on salary, arguing that men use their salaries as a score to see who
- 9:16comes out on top. This is feminist projection. Yes, there are some
- 9:22men that engage in that, like dick measuring stuff. But I think generally
- 9:28though, you know, a guy who is mentally healthy will not compete with
- 9:35other men, but rather, especially if he works with them, they will
- 9:39essentially compete with each other in a way that brings the best out of each
- 9:43other and then they all kind of win. Right, So, I mean
- 9:48that's what I think, and is it and yeah, that's the whole that's
- 9:52what we want to Well, that's the thing right where right now we the
- 9:56climate is such that men all have to one up each other to prove that
- 10:01they're not like, you know, horrible human beings because of the feminist culture
- 10:07we live in. So it's it does put them at each other's throats.
- 10:13So it's not just that it creates an animosity or at least like a needless
- 10:18extra animosity between men and women, but it also makes animosity between men and
- 10:22men and women and women because the women will purity test each other for like
- 10:28their you know, their piousness with regards to the sisterhood, and they will
- 10:33attack each other if they deviate because that's what they've been brainwashed into, and
- 10:37the men will do the same. They will you know, they go around
- 10:43holding each other accountable for everything, and that's what's promoted. Do you remember
- 10:46that may make you more uncomfortable. Yeah, yeah, I mean they hold
- 10:54each other. They're playing a game of who's the one good men? Right,
- 10:58Yeah, Like they're like we were seeing with the with the oh what
- 11:01was that jubilee where he had the feminist men who were basically their entire relationship
- 11:07with other men was competitive. So the one guy was like, I'm the
- 11:11I'm gonna protect my women folk from other men because other men are awful and
- 11:15predatory, and the other guy was like, well, I'm the one with
- 11:18the most Pokemon. Look, I have the gender binary Pokemon, not the
- 11:22fluid pokemon, you know, the black woman Pokemon, the left side paralyzed
- 11:28lesbian trans woman pokemon, you know, and and then the other The final
- 11:35guy was like, no, all of my moral goodness comes from purely from
- 11:39me as an individual. You know. It's not something that is something that
- 11:45I share with other men. It's something that separates me from other men.
- 11:48See what I'm saying. And that's I think that's the kind of toxic competition
- 11:54holding people like people holding each other to account for their behavior towards others.
- 11:58Is I don't think that's issue like don't bully, don't don't abuse, don't
- 12:03do stuff like that. That's fine, But this kind of virtue signaling,
- 12:05which is very empty and often doesn't really involve holding people to account for their
- 12:11behavior, but instead their speech is uh, yeah, I wouldn't. I
- 12:16don't think that's that's the same thing. Yeah anyway, yep, Okay,
- 12:20So that's the super child. Thank you. And I got a super chat
- 12:24as well from ex Xanathos and they say, I recently rediscovered your content after
- 12:33a long time. Glad to see you guys are still around, well,
- 12:35thank you. Please feel free to subscribe. He gave us five pounds,
- 12:39by the way, Please feel free to subscribe and stick around and be a
- 12:43part of the conversation. You know. So, I mean, we're I
- 12:48guess been an interesting niche. We never really got big, but we never
- 12:52really disappeared either. Yeah. I think honestly, it's because most people seem
- 13:00to either tie into a and it's not really defined by what you necessarily believe,
- 13:05but who your enemy is. So most creators or you know, YouTube
- 13:11commentators identifying enemy and keep identifying that enemy over and over again, or they
- 13:18offer something that is uh like you know, like like our title today,
- 13:24you know, use my secret technique and you'll be drowning in women. They
- 13:28offer something like that, and that's not what we've done. We've tried to
- 13:33keep everything honest to what we see is actually happening with the relationship of men
- 13:39and women. So it's not about you know, pretending, and honestly it
- 13:43is pretending, pretending like you're a dating coach who can give this magic formula
- 13:50for men to uh be able to get any woman they want or even get
- 13:56a woman. And it's it's not it's not about the it's about actually fixing
- 14:01the problem. We got a big problem. We are pretty pretty much at
- 14:05terminal guys. Yeah, we have embraced a long time ago the very misanthropic
- 14:09idea that men and women are defined through oppression. Men and women are defined
- 14:15through oppression. So the primary primary metric medium of exchange of men and women
- 14:22is oppression. So we've defined the most fundamental relationship in our culture as one
- 14:30that is anti social, anti human, destructive and evil. It's like,
- 14:35how long is the society going to survive at war with the most fundamental relationship
- 14:43that makes up that society? And we're getting to sort of the terminus of
- 14:48this particular runaway train. And instead of saying to God like just papering over
- 14:54the symptoms and saying, hey, okay, well we just did you know,
- 14:58just wiggle your little toe at the full moon closest to the solstice and
- 15:03fart yankee doodle dandy and you'll be a wash in women. Instead of doing
- 15:09crap like that, we're just like, no, we got to look at
- 15:11this honestly, because if we don't fix it's not much future we're gonna We're
- 15:16gonna have to look forward to, shall we say? Yeah? All right,
- 15:18all right, let's get into the video. Thank you for the super
- 15:22chat and the super chow. So we're gonna go ahead and put this on
- 15:26the screen back. If you enjoyed the new what new things we have to
- 15:30say now? Yeah, I hope you stick around. All right, So
- 15:33this is Chris Williamson and one of I. Okay, you know, full
- 15:37disclosure. I generally like Chris Williamson's content. I liked that he's talking about
- 15:43these things. I think it's really easy for people to be dismissive or ignore
- 15:48it, and he's like trying to discuss it. Okay, So hopefully he'll
- 15:50find his way. You know, it doesn't have to be us, but
- 15:54just somebody who is like talking about these things from I think a a very
- 16:00productive perspective. But right now he's talking with a guest name Alex date Psych,
- 16:06which I assume is an alias that he uses or his I guess he
- 16:11runs a company or a business where people will pay him and he'll show them
- 16:15how to pull women. So it's kind of like that, but he it's
- 16:19under the It's not like your typical sort of player PUA type at least that's
- 16:27not the what he's selling. It's more like, Oh, I'm a dating
- 16:33psychologist, and I understand these things from a psychological or evolutionary standpoint or whatever.
- 16:38So but fortunately, one of the things that I do like about Chris
- 16:41Williamson is that his long form podcast like this one or Interviews or Discussions,
- 16:48is about an hour and forty minutes long, but it's broken up into little
- 16:52sections, which I think is fantastic. So I thought I would tell you
- 16:56what the sections are and then Allison, you can tell me which one you
- 17:00want to hear. So the first one is just called why have men stopped
- 17:03Approaching women? Now, that might be an easy way to just jump right
- 17:07into. Then there's do do men need to be so risk averse? Takeaways
- 17:15from Alex's survey on dating struggles? So this is the thing that kind of
- 17:19like got my attention because Alison got I guess this guy, I don't understand
- 17:26this. What Yeah, okay, let me just get into this. Okay,
- 17:29So do men need to be so resk adverse? Okay, you realize
- 17:32that feminists are gauging the system that punishes criminals for their behavior, and they
- 17:37are extending it to what used to be relatively considered relatively innocent or at least
- 17:45not criminal activities in the dating sphere. Right, this is what they're doing.
- 17:49They're using the criminal justice system and they're weaponizing it against men who are
- 17:55seeking date. And you're like, well, at what point do guys like
- 17:59us back? And you say, maybe it's a bit too much. You
- 18:03know, how much pressure do feminists have to apply to men before guys like
- 18:11this recognize that the problem is the pressure that feminists are applying to men not
- 18:18to approach, Like, do we need orbital satellites? Feminists inspired orbital satellites
- 18:26that vaporize men whenever they go two inches too close to a woman, Like
- 18:30this is getting ridiculous. They're using the apparatus in our society designed to punish
- 18:37and prevent certain behaviors, and they're targeting it at men who are approaching women
- 18:44for a date. Basically all right. They hide this behind saying well,
- 18:49if you just do it, if you only knew men used your professor e
- 18:55psychic powers and figured out that the woman that you are approaching only wants you
- 19:00to approach. On Between two thirty and two thirty three on a Wednesday,
- 19:07on the sixth day on the month, only after a Friday where she's gone
- 19:11to ballet class and has had a nice drink with her part. You know,
- 19:15like, how okay, how how fucking insanely uh omnipotent? Do men
- 19:25have to get right before they can navigate this minefield? Before you start saying,
- 19:30oh, right, this is too much, this is ridiculous, before
- 19:33you start directing your censure, and you're shaming where it belongs, which is
- 19:37at women who am sorry feminists, women and men who are seen to be
- 19:42at a war in war in a war, sorry, I got that out.
- 19:48Took me a while, in a war against women consenting to men in
- 19:52any capacity. I want you to just cogitate on that. We have a
- 19:56group of people who are very powerful, and they do not like the idea
- 20:00that women consent to men at all, Like it's a personal offense to them,
- 20:07and they want to make it so dangerous for a man to say,
- 20:11oh you, oh oh, so we're in a contract now, I mean
- 20:15it's a verbal contract, but I can accept that your verbal agreement to this
- 20:18activity is somewhat binding. They want to make it so men cannot trust women's
- 20:23word when the situation occurs because they are in a war against women's consent.
- 20:32They want to make it so that women can not consent, or the the
- 20:37the amount or the target for women's consent is so small that it is almost
- 20:44sub atomic, or it is sub atomic. And what I mean by that
- 20:48is they are you know, you know, the progression of these campaigns,
- 20:52right, is to restrict what is considered well, how women can express consent.
- 20:59Right, Initially it was just okay, you know, if she fights
- 21:03back, that's obviously not consent. Right, So a woman can can express
- 21:08consent. She is a wide open field to decide how she expresses her contents.
- 21:12Consent, all right, Then it's no means no, So there's no
- 21:17more coquettish no, you know, with a with a cute little giggle,
- 21:22anymore, no means no the instance she says no, you stop, all
- 21:26right. That restricted women's ability to express consent. And then we had the
- 21:32yes means yes, which constricted it further. And now we have enthusiastic consent,
- 21:37which means that the only women who can genuinely express consent are freaking sexual
- 21:44olympists and gymnastics. Like the women who are completely enthusiastic, they can they
- 21:49actually take initiative. And I know a lot of guys would love that,
- 21:53but that means that only those women can express consent you starfishes. Yeah,
- 21:59lady is, you've just had your ability to enact any kind of sexual contract
- 22:03with many revoked. And uh, honestly, for their own protection, men
- 22:08should not have sex with starfishes anymore. And the only women with really good
- 22:14glutes are allowed to have sex. Now they're restrict and you see how every
- 22:18step they restrict the ability for women to consent to sex because that is what
- 22:22they are in war in. And these guys, instead of pointing that out,
- 22:27go to the men and say, well, why aren't you pushing after
- 22:32the no? Why aren't she pushing after them? Why aren't you wait,
- 22:37I mean she's not saying no, So why don't you just keep pushing?
- 22:40Why don't you just keep pushing? Oh? Oh, she's starfishing. Well
- 22:44you just need to keep going like this is what they're doing. They're engaging
- 22:48in fucking entrackment. Yeah we should maybe we should hear them be okay,
- 22:56all right, Sorry I had a very long Twitter exchange, but with the
- 23:00other one, yeah, so I'll go Yeah with Alex stateside, I'll go
- 23:06to the why have men stopped approaching women? Bit the beginning, because that's
- 23:10basically what you're speaking to, and we'll see what he says. What's going
- 23:12on with risk aversion and men not approaching women? Sure, so, risk
- 23:18aversion refers to a personality trait or disposition where individuals are basically more accepting or
- 23:23more willing to take risks. So high risk aversion would be individuals who are
- 23:29less willing to take risks, and a big risk for men at least a
- 23:32perceived risk is of course, approaching women. So recently I conducted a survey
- 23:36and I used a measure of risk aversion. Okay, and all right,
- 23:41this is exactly what I'm talking about. Yeah, literally, like I have,
- 23:47I have watched this march towards restricting women's consent, And what this man
- 23:52is saying is men, don't listen to the feminist campaigns about no means no.
- 23:56Just keep going when she says no, don't listen to the campaigns about
- 24:00no, yes means yes. Keep going even she doesn't say yes, don't
- 24:04listen to the campaigns about enthusiastic consent. Keep going even when she isn't.
- 24:11Okay, this is this has got to be some kind of malpractice, it
- 24:18certainly. And you can transfer that to the dating which is it's a little
- 24:22bit more vague. I know, the consent stuff is more clear, then
- 24:26the progression is more clear, which is why I use it. But this
- 24:29they have the same messaging when it just comes to approaching women. I mean,
- 24:33you see the billboards with a list of things that are now harassment,
- 24:37and he's basically saying, well, you know, this is now technically illegal,
- 24:42and forget example the UK, maybe it isn't in the US yet,
- 24:48although that Jillette ad suggests that even approaching a women is oh no, I
- 24:52mean it may not be illegal, but there will certainly there certainly could be
- 24:55social ramification. Yes, yeah, so me too is you know. And
- 25:00so we're looking at this situation and he's encouraging men to go against what is
- 25:08becoming the prevailing social and political expectation of men. And this is why I
- 25:15said recently in a tweet, what dating coaches actually tell men to keep initiating
- 25:22if they could be culpable for incitement every time a guy got a harassment charge.
- 25:30Yeah, And the thing is that these guys will never ever look at
- 25:34the situation that men are in and say, hey, that's not fair.
- 25:38They will always look at men and say, oh, you're cowards, you're
- 25:42risk adverse. Well that's the freaking point. That's why the feminists have engaged
- 25:48the criminal justice system to start making these kinds of things approaching women. You
- 25:55know, it's definitely sexual harassment in the in the workplace. Now, Okay,
- 26:00that's why they've they've started to engage these institutions and more and more the
- 26:04criminal injustice system, Like the criminal injustice system knows how to prevent people from
- 26:11doing something right, that's sort of what they're there for. Yeah, so
- 26:15we have the organ of our society that is, you know, lining up
- 26:18its scopes to prevent men from approaching women. And this guy is saying,
- 26:23hey, don't mind that red dot dudes keep doing it. Yeah, keep
- 26:30going, instead of saying, hey, maybe we should stop that. And
- 26:34also when he says he conducted a poll, does he like have is it
- 26:37like a scientific poll or is it like a Twitter poll? Because I thought
- 26:42I thought that he was, like, he just put a poll up on
- 26:45Twitter. I thought, I mean that's what you were the one he might
- 26:48have done like an internet poll. Okay, yeah, I asked him for
- 26:52his I asked him for his site, and now, based on what I'm
- 26:55seeing here, it's basically himself. So I'm guessing that this is honestly,
- 26:59this has probably got about as much legitimacy as a cosmopolitan pull. Yeah.
- 27:06Yeah, that's another thing to consider a right, Well, let's keep going.
- 27:08Asked about approach behavior, basically approaching for dates, approaching on the street,
- 27:12approaching in a bar, talking to someone at work or in class,
- 27:15And yeah, there's an inverse correlation, or should say a positive correlation with
- 27:18that risk aversion and willingness to approach. Right that, people who are more
- 27:22risk averse much less willing to approach. They tend to have more fears as
- 27:26well as far as the potential consequences of approaching a woman asking for a date?
- 27:33What did they say? What? The primary fee is? All?
- 27:36Right? But here's the thing, and this is something I mentioned in the
- 27:38twitter too. Risk aversion is a personality trait, and what he probably means
- 27:45is conscientious. So that does not not just be risk aversion to self.
- 27:48It might also be men who are risk adverse to creating an unpleasant experience for
- 27:52a woman, which none of which he the unpleasant experience. He just completely
- 27:56blew through that and insulted men further with a tweet where he essentially said that
- 28:03men who are risk adverse about creating an unpleasant experience for women are the same
- 28:07men who are yelling at women on Twitter. I'm like, you can't make
- 28:12that assumption. This could be two completely distinct groups of men. And also
- 28:18people's behavior online is many many degrees worse than their behavior in person. All
- 28:25right, yeah, so the two have no bearing on each other. But
- 28:27regardless, this idea that men who are risk adverse are somehow bad, let
- 28:40me think about it. I mean, God, I can't even fucking like,
- 28:44how dare these men? How dare they have such contempt for men who
- 28:49are not like them? That is? That is the issue in the comments
- 28:56you see like you know men saying you know, too like in shape,
- 29:00well put together, decent looking dudes. Are like puzzled as to why you
- 29:06know, men are so averse to approaching women like they're literally the kind of
- 29:10guys that are I wouldn't say not likely, I wouldn't even say unlikely,
- 29:15but less likely to get into some kind of like social trouble for approaching women
- 29:22because whether or not you get in big trouble, it ultimately just comes down
- 29:26to whether or not she's attracted to you, Like this is completely in the
- 29:30hands of the woman and and and men generally don't know where they rate themselves,
- 29:36like they generally think of themselves as bland or normal, and that they
- 29:41know for sure it means that they're not good enough because women's standards are through
- 29:45the roof, So like, why would a guy approach a woman? I
- 29:48mean it's too dangerous. Yeah, don't take dating advice from any Yeah,
- 29:56yeah, it's eating advice is absolutely worthless. Like you don't listen to men
- 30:04who look like this, Why would you do you think they are? Like
- 30:08it's like listening to a woman who's a ten I'm dating. It's not quite
- 30:15that bad because they at least they're men, right, But they don't have
- 30:18a freaking clue. They're talking from complete ignorance. Like, honestly, I
- 30:26think that guys really shouldn't, Like there's really no point. And I really
- 30:30think this isn't about actually getting dating advice. It's about living out a fantasy.
- 30:37To be frank, and that these guys present the fantasy, but also
- 30:42it's even more than just. I wasn't even referring to the physicality of these
- 30:45two men. I was referring to the psychology. Like you know that men
- 30:51who are risk adverse are still men, and they have every right to be
- 30:56And the fact that our society has stopped catering to men who have any sense
- 31:00of social desirability and concern and social anxiety as in ability to be humiliated,
- 31:07the fact that our society has stopped actually making it possible for those men to
- 31:11comfortably, at least partially comfortably. I mean, I'm sure they're still going
- 31:15to have to manage rejection, but not manage all the other risks. You
- 31:19know that the reason that our the fact that our society has made it so
- 31:23men like that don't have a chance, or have much less of a chance,
- 31:26or are opting out, that's on society. Because I can tell you
- 31:32that men who are risk adverse have existed throughout history, all right, And
- 31:37the best societies are the ones where they flourish. Okay, the best societies
- 31:44are the ones where they aren't ruled by some guy with a freaking forehead like
- 31:48a cliff with a gigantic goddamn mallet like a club and he's the one who
- 31:59makes the rules. I guarantee you those are the societies we don't want to
- 32:01live in. So yeah, like even when he says, oh, men
- 32:06who are risk averse aren't aren't approaching Okay, So that's a fundamental aspect of
- 32:14personality. One it's very difficult to shift, and it's not gonna be like
- 32:19it's it's only gonna get worse because of the social influences that we see around
- 32:25us, Like all of the campaigns against strange women approaching approaching men, not
- 32:32even just the campaigns. Look at all the TikTok stuff that goes out.
- 32:36I mean, how many TikTok at our TikTok videos are there on women who
- 32:40are like, oh, some men looked at me. I am verklemped.
- 32:45I have to go to my therapist and get xenax. You know, Like,
- 32:51how many of those compared to TikTok videos? Like, has anybody ever
- 32:54seen a TikTok video in which some woman is like complimented by men and she's
- 32:59like, oh, oh, that's really sweet of you. I really appreciate
- 33:02the thought, you know, not interested, but no, yeah, never
- 33:07seen that, And yet how and so even our social maleeu is filled with
- 33:14condemnation, demonization, and destructive attitudes towards men who express any kind of interest
- 33:21in women filled with it. So how are you gonna help these guys overcome
- 33:27the anxiety induced everywhere? I mean, this is beyond a phobia. This
- 33:31is a phobia thatself that's enforcing, like the society itself is enforcing on men
- 33:36everywhere. So how are you gonna help them do that? Or are you
- 33:39just gonna shame them more if they don't. Okay, this really pissed me
- 33:45off. I'm sorry. Yeah, no, it's all right. Let's play
- 33:47some more of this these guys were concerned about. Sure, so some of
- 33:53the primary fears are basically social rejection and social consequences. There were some differences
- 33:59where individuals iron risker version might fear more legal consequences as well, like some
- 34:04kind of report to HR, the police or even something like that, But
- 34:07it tends to be mostly kind of a fear of loss of reputation. Yeah,
- 34:12well, I suppose you know, we have a basis for this ancestrally
- 34:15that if you were rebuffed by one of the women in your tribe, that
- 34:19that probably wouldn't do much for your credibility with the rest of the women in
- 34:22the tribe, and that your mates might take the piss out of you.
- 34:24So I'd certainly understand from that that angle for the women as well that are
- 34:30listening. The all consuming fear as a guy of seeing a girl across the
- 34:36room and looking at her and thinking I should go and say hello because I
- 34:38think that she's nice. It's like fucking mortal. It's reality bending. It's
- 34:46so strange, it's such a bizarre And again, I'm sure that there's a
- 34:50loads of guys listening. I don't know what you're talking about. I can
- 34:52just go up and talk to anybody. But I think I'm just pausing for
- 34:55the banana. Okay. I mean he at least, he at least recognizes
- 35:00that it's difficult, but I don't know that he knows like how dangerous and
- 35:08toxic. It's become like, you know, being shy or fearing rejection.
- 35:15That's something that we've always had, especially as men, because men have to
- 35:20be the ones to approach, but it's been made like nearly impossible for most
- 35:25young guys to navigate now because of it's not just like, oh I'm ashamed
- 35:30because she didn't like me. It's not it's not just that, you know,
- 35:35it's it's like a far more uh, there's it's a far more there's
- 35:42far more dangerous consequences. Let's put it that way. So I got a
- 35:46super chow. So Richard Bierre gave us a super chow and is five dollars
- 35:53and says isn't now an offense warrantying arrest in British Columbia to make someone feel
- 36:00feel uncomfortable on public transportation? Apparently anyone can declare that they were made to
- 36:05feel uncomfortable by merely overhearing a conversation that they weren't even a participant in.
- 36:10I mean that sounds right. I don't know British Columbia, you mean BC,
- 36:15like in the United States, or there's a do we have a VC.
- 36:19I don't know, or in Canada. I don't know, but yes,
- 36:22that sounds That just boggles my mind. It just boggles my mind that
- 36:30we have, verifiably we have people working with the criminal justice system. We
- 36:37have people working with whatever is creating like the social MELEEU and and media to
- 36:43present and to try to prevent men from approaching women in the auspices of supposedly
- 36:52trying to prevent sexual harassment, but because nobody can really define that, you
- 36:58really have like it just ends up preventing approaches towards men and to punish these
- 37:02things. And there's no room for this in this these guy's mind, maybe
- 37:08not Chris, but this other guy's mind for the effects of society itself telling
- 37:14men to stop approaching women. Mm hmm, all right, let's play some
- 37:22more. All right, let's keep going. I think even the average normal
- 37:24risk aversion man has this pretty sort of guttural sense of trepidation before they go
- 37:30and do it. Absolutely, yeah, and yeah, the most confident man,
- 37:35it doesn't matter, they're going to be a little bit nervous at least
- 37:37approaching a woman. And I think that's something in pickup artists communities that they've
- 37:42kind of caught onto is almost kind of an exposure therapy to that. But
- 37:45you know, exposure therapy when people have phobias, they're exposed gradually to whatever
- 37:50the stimulus is that reduces that fear. So maybe they've kind of caught on
- 37:52like that guy. As a psychologist, you don't just throw people into uposing
- 38:00them what they're afraid of you have to build up their ability to manage their
- 38:05fear. Right, Nothing that I've seen that he's tweeted out and I could
- 38:09be corrected correct me in the comments talks about how to support men while approaching
- 38:15reducing their fear in this circumstance. And at what point, I mean,
- 38:21really, if you think about it, if the same risks had to be
- 38:23run by women in order to get this outcome, I'm pretty sure this guy
- 38:29would be calling out the institutions that are creating the risks, not the women
- 38:32for being risk adverse. I just wonder if it's because he holds women to
- 38:38a lower standard, because he thinks they're a lower form of life. I
- 38:42mean, maybe he would. It's a thought experiment, so you know,
- 38:45he could probably get out of it by saying, well, I don't know,
- 38:50or just not even recognize it. But really think about that, if
- 38:55women were expected to run these legal risks, would we tolerate that? Yeah,
- 39:04in hell, we don't even. Honestly, actually, I already know
- 39:07the answer to that. We don't even make We don't even we don't even
- 39:12want women to run the legal risks of their own, coercive and sexually like
- 39:20Rapeye, behavior. We want to shield women from the risks of that.
- 39:25We don't even want to apply those risks to women, much less say to
- 39:30women, Oh well, if you're unattractive and he doesn't want your approach,
- 39:32you could you could lose your social standing in your career and maybe even go
- 39:37to jail. Like I mean, if men could do that to women,
- 39:42do you think that this guy would still be saying, hey, women,
- 39:45man up. I don't think so. Yep, all right, all right,
- 39:51I got a super chat from Albernata Retro because it's two dollars Canadian and
- 39:55he says PUAs are the biggest s on earth. Okay, I don't.
- 40:02I mean, I don't know. This guy looks like a pua, don't
- 40:06get me wrong, but I don't know if he really is one or not.
- 40:09I mean, I guess, so, I guess, so, I
- 40:12don't know. I don't know how you would classify himself. But yeah,
- 40:15okay, let's play some more women and you will be less of three.
- 40:19Yeah, that's what it is. But of course most men aren't out there
- 40:21approaching one hundred women, and that kind of nervousness it persists even if an
- 40:24individual is very very confident to begin with. Yeah, I think that was
- 40:29definitely one of the positive sides of the pickup world was that it taught men
- 40:35to overcome approach anxiety just through exposure therapy. Right. It gamified exposure therapy,
- 40:40which is pretty reliable when you're trying to get rid of all manner of
- 40:45phobias. If it's a spider that you scat, or you agrophobia and you
- 40:49don't leave the house. You know, it's one step at a time,
- 40:51very very small exposures, et cetera. And given that this is such a
- 40:54such a difficult one, I asked it was ages ago, but I spoke
- 40:58about what it's like for a woman to approach a man and be rejected and
- 41:02has some really interesting responses from women that it's really painful for them, you
- 41:07know, ship they almost feel like they've broken the social norm and still not
- 41:13succeeded. So there's kind of two layers of shame that they've had to go
- 41:16through. Yeah, but how many women were like, I don't know,
- 41:20lost their job for approaching a man or still and still what Well, here's
- 41:29the thing, I mean, obviously they thought that they if they they're the
- 41:32ones who approached, then the man is obligated to agree to them. It
- 41:37sounds like mm hmm. Well when he when like the way that he's framing
- 41:43this, it's like they they they defied the social norm. Well so what
- 41:50like what what like the guy still has the right to reject you. Yeah,
- 41:55just the way that this is framed is odd. Reading too much into
- 41:59it. No, I think I get it as far as like I just
- 42:02want to say, as far as the exposure therapy thing goes, I think
- 42:07that it would be. I think there is some truth to it, but
- 42:12I don't think these guys are saying it. They're not putting a fine enough
- 42:19point on it. So what I mean is, you know, I used
- 42:22to be really really introverted, Like I couldn't do what I'm doing as this
- 42:25show. I was really bad when I was in high school. I remember
- 42:30I was called up to the front of the class to I don't even remember
- 42:34what I had to do. It was like solve a problem or answer a
- 42:37question or read something I don't remember, and I was shaking because I don't.
- 42:42I was just so nervous and shy. And when I graduated, I
- 42:47had to get a job, and so my very first job was I was
- 42:52a busboy, and so as a bus boy, I had to interact with
- 42:54people, and as I worked. You know, at first, obviously I
- 42:59was or shy, but over time, because of the kind of jobs that
- 43:02I had, I had to learn to talk with people, and then later,
- 43:07you know, look them in the eye, and then later it just
- 43:09kept building. But the thing, the main point I'm making though, is
- 43:15that if you have this issue, the best way to get over it has
- 43:21you have to like interact with people in a very impersonal context. So I'm
- 43:27at a job and there's a customer. I don't know them. I don't
- 43:30really you know, They're not my friend, They're not somebody I'm interested in
- 43:32being friends with, and not somebody I'm romantically interested in. They're just somebody
- 43:37that I have to talk to. And so I do that, and I
- 43:38do it over and over, and after a while it gets easier and easier,
- 43:44and then you know that, so I think that they have I'm not
- 43:47even saying they're making this point because I think that datesite guy is saying guys
- 43:52just approach women, which I think is just a really bad idea. It's
- 43:55just really risky. And you also have to be concerned with like I said
- 44:00before, if women don't find you attractive and you have the gall to approach
- 44:05them, then they will take it a different way. They won't. They
- 44:07will see it as inappropriate, like you're breaking the social norm of approaching a
- 44:13woman without her permission or without the ability to read her mind. But if
- 44:17you can talk with women, even women you're not attracted to, in a
- 44:22platonic way, like just saying hello or you know, are you enjoying the
- 44:27party or whatever, and don't take it any further and then walk away,
- 44:30then I think it will become easier for men to talk to women and just
- 44:36men. Yeah, but you put you just you just set that the context.
- 44:38So there is some value in doing that. But yeah, the way
- 44:44that, yeah, the way that they're framing it makes it sound they're not
- 44:47doing that. They're not saying look maybe if because and also they're being dismissive
- 44:53of the real challenge, because like that's not even half the battle. Like
- 44:58the ability to walk up and approach a woman and say hello or or whatever,
- 45:02that's not even half the battle. The real issue is the way that
- 45:07women have been I don't know how else to say it, propaganda is to
- 45:14find men threatening and like so if a strange man approaches, the woman doesn't
- 45:19decide whether or not he's like, you know, a threat to her based
- 45:25on like how his approaches, but rather the fact that he did approach.
- 45:30So she'll make a judgment before he gets there because she is constantly on her
- 45:34toes because she was told all this propaganda about men. And so if you
- 45:39do it the right way, you have to be able to like, you
- 45:42know, do It's just it's such a tricky situation and in a way,
- 45:46it's not right now as it stands, it's not really worth it for men,
- 45:51Like I don't see the benefit. Like we have to deprogram women's fear,
- 45:55and then we have to like make it to where men and women can
- 45:59come together comfortably without you know, without this this fear, because I think
- 46:04it feeds in both directions. Men fear women and women fear men. So
- 46:10also, like in today's era, it's not just the fear that women have
- 46:15for men, it's how that fear destroys any appreciation for masculinity and men.
- 46:21Yeah, so and at the end of the day, you're gonna risk rejection
- 46:23for this from this fear fearful creature. And then you're also, what are
- 46:29you gonna get a creature that fears you? Who the hell wants that in
- 46:32their life? Yeah? Who wants to juggle that for the rest of their
- 46:37life? Okay? And so there's that. I also I'm just like sorry
- 46:43again for any sounds in the background, and there was really because the cat
- 46:49just walked over his leftsa and left some footprints. I don't see. I
- 46:53don't hear anything, Okay, all right, but yeah, there there was
- 46:58a little bit of a kerf fuffles. But I'm glad you got I didn't
- 47:00hear anything. But the other thing is that this is too I think these
- 47:07people, because they want to make money and they want to advance a particular
- 47:09narrative, they're not really honest about how to approach this mm hmm. And
- 47:15if men want to do this, they have to look at it holistically.
- 47:20Yeah. I mean this guy, the dates guy, he's not selling a
- 47:23product to women. He's selling a product to men. So he has to
- 47:29make men women well he's well, he should be, he should probably well
- 47:34you know what he might be. But I don't know what he could offer
- 47:37them, because it seems that women don't need anything. They just need to
- 47:43wait until the right guy comes along. According to him, I'm saying,
- 47:49well, yeah, at this point, yeah, you're right, they don't
- 47:50really need to do anything. But what I mean is that holistically, like
- 47:54if if you're a guy who wants to get a relationship with a woman,
- 48:00I would suggest just setting that aside and working on your social relationships outside of
- 48:08that aim, and even consider going to a place where people will really appreciate
- 48:15your your presence, like you know, people in need, older people,
- 48:22and just like volunteer, volunteer even even like an animal shelter, so that
- 48:28someplace where when you come and see them, they're going to be happy to
- 48:31see you and grateful and maybe even give you a smile. Right, work
- 48:37on that. Work on improving your improving and increasing your social your situations where
- 48:43you can be social. Don't focus on approaching women, like if it comes,
- 48:52if it comes to the point as you as you increase your confidence in
- 48:55being social and other aspects of your life, that'll reduce your anxiety if you
- 49:01ever do approach women. Right, I mean, because it's like and I
- 49:07don't want to downplay the fear because it's very real and I am not going
- 49:10to argue to any guy who's like, yeah, I'm just the juice is
- 49:14not worth the squeeze. The risk of rejection, the risk of a false
- 49:17accusation isn't worse what what I'm going to get in the end of the day.
- 49:21I'd be like, yeah, you do you That is your choice.
- 49:24You have every right to make that choice, and I totally understand it.
- 49:27If a guy is like, no, I really want to keep doing and
- 49:31he is having problems with that kind of fear of rejection, then again I
- 49:35would go the holistic route. Build up your social relationships outside of that circumstance,
- 49:43and really something that's really key I think that can really increase your social
- 49:46confidence is to find someplace outside of approaching women where you're making other people happy
- 49:54and you're making them feel grateful for your presence, or you're doing something that
- 49:59they're great for you. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, Okay, let's play
- 50:06some more. I can jump to that next bit. So there's the next
- 50:08section is do men need to be so risk averse? So have you looked
- 50:15longitudinally at this Do you know if men's risk aversion and fear of approach has
- 50:22increased over time? I don't know for sure, but there I think there
- 50:25is some research on that that I haven't done that's looked at risk aversion in
- 50:30younger generations, and they may be more risk averse. So it might be
- 50:34something that we see, particularly with the Zoomers, right with the younger generation,
- 50:37that they are more risk averse than earlier generations. And there's a lot
- 50:39of kind of converging evidence on that that you know, they're waiting later in
- 50:44life to take risks like getting a job, going to school, getting a
- 50:47driver's license. Me maybe there's other reasons for this, like what was oh
- 50:54frivolous? Yeah, go ahead, Well, okay, there's other reasons for
- 51:00it. Well, no, I'm saying, why do the zoom Why are
- 51:02the Zoomers more risk averse? Zoomer men more misk averse than say, the
- 51:08millennials, who are more risk averse than say Generation X, Like what changed?
- 51:15What's changed? Not not? You know, I mean, there's some
- 51:19some chemical things you could say, but I think culturally, culturally, yes,
- 51:24it's very different. The landscape is completely different. And how to saying
- 51:30to those men, well, just men up, do a damn thing.
- 51:37Like if it's a cultural shift, then you need to look at the kind
- 51:42of messaging that you need to change to give them a sense of kurt,
- 51:46like to improve their or to reduce their anxiety, right, you know,
- 51:52and I just it's the other thing is the reason why I said it's frivolous
- 51:59is because because that it do we really need to worry at this point if
- 52:07men are approaching women, because there's a lot worse things that it's if men
- 52:14are, you know, increasing in risk aversion, like for example, continuing
- 52:17our infrastructure. Yeah, you know, that seems like a much more important
- 52:22problem, you know, continuing to have young men go into those jobs that
- 52:28young women just won't do. Uh, they might do it, I guess
- 52:32when everything's crashing down their ears, but how good are they going to be
- 52:36at it? You know? So it seems like this is a lot more
- 52:44dire than men are just not approaching women. But you know, like god,
- 52:47damn, I really want to cut that thing off his chin. Yeah,
- 52:52I know, I know, I know it. All right, let's
- 52:55let's hear some more these other things that would indicate, Okay, they're kind
- 53:00of hesitant to enter the adult world so to speak. Yeah, Gene Twangy's
- 53:04work in Generations is fantastic with this slow life strategy or extended adolescence. It
- 53:10explains an awful lot. You know, me and Buss have been talking about
- 53:13this generalized risk aversion syndrome, and it is. It's across you know,
- 53:17it permeates absolutely everything, but it really really shows up in dating because dating
- 53:22is largely a game of risk remediation, right. It's how can I kind
- 53:28of deal with the inevitable uncertainty of going up to someone. I don't know
- 53:32if they like me, I don't know if they're single, I don't know
- 53:35if I'm going to look silly. It very much is kind of like the
- 53:38vanguard of risk. I suppose other things moving out of the house, changing
- 53:44jobs, moving locations, but certainly a much lower stakes, more common one,
- 53:49which is what makes it interesting because it is lower stakes. It's like
- 53:52what you get rejected by somebody when you go up to them, like what,
- 53:54there's literally no cost? Actually, no, that's not the issue.
- 54:00It's not it's not simply that although that's that can be tough, and you
- 54:05already expressed that with women it's even tougher. That doesn't mean that, you
- 54:10know, women are most affected, but it means that they know that this
- 54:14is not a position they want to be in, and you're not prepared to
- 54:16put them in that position. So this is on men. It's not it's
- 54:22not oh, I'm gonna look silly. It's I don't want to make her
- 54:25uncomfortable. I don't want to, you know, make her think that I'm
- 54:30a predator or dangerous. Why would she have that idea? Have you looked
- 54:36around at our culture? Have you seen it? Yeah? Go ahead.
- 54:40I did an equally valid survey to this deal equally and I found that the
- 54:47number one reason why men weren't approaching women and this is excludes you know,
- 54:52the juice isn't worth to squeeze reasons. Number one reason was afraid of false
- 54:59accusations, andnumber two reason was felt they weren't attractive enough. Yeah, and
- 55:05the number three reason I forget, but the number four reason was and I
- 55:10only was allowed four reasons, so it's not really meaningful, but it was
- 55:14the one where they just didn't want to create an unpleasant situation for a woman.
- 55:21So it's like, this is yeah, right, you know, it's
- 55:25this is something that needs to be fixed without you can say to men to
- 55:30man up, but you're not going to fix anything like this is what I
- 55:36said to this guy. You know, in ten years it's gonna be worse
- 55:39and your solution will have done nothing. Yep, all right, let's watch
- 55:46it. We have to Yeah, let's watch some more. Let me see.
- 55:50Yeah, there's a most replayed part coming up. So pop from a
- 55:52tiny little bit of discomfort, and yet the felt sense of it is a
- 55:59you know, well to ending catastrophe exactly. Yeah. And something kind of
- 56:04related to that is that we see, for example, individuals hiring the Dark
- 56:07Triad they have more sexual partners psychopaths as well, people that score high in
- 56:13the hair psychopathy checklist. We see example, people that have a criminal record
- 56:15may have earlier sexual debuse, so they're having sex earlier in life or having
- 56:20more partners. And these are also all things that are associated with a higher
- 56:22tolerance for risk or even risk seeking. Its naturally stuff that we want to
- 56:27This is definitely stuff we want to encourage. Say, yeah, really,
- 56:30you don't think there's something wrong with that? More than that, though,
- 56:36don't you think it's worth asking why women are drawn to that? Like maybe
- 56:42that's something because like, yeah, there are men that exist that have Dark
- 56:45Triad traits. There are psychopaths there are convicts, there are criminals, violent
- 56:51offenders, and women love them. So maybe you should be asking like,
- 56:55oh, is this really what we want? Is this good for our society?
- 57:00Is it? Like? What you know, what's happening right now is
- 57:02that there are like men of a very small percentage that are forming harems and
- 57:10because the women are willing to share them, because that's that's how badly they
- 57:15want the top men. That's how badly and they feel entitled to that.
- 57:22So this, Yeah, I don't know. Somebody Harry Pierce said you need
- 57:28to be psychomaxing. You need to be thug maxing, thug maxing. Thug
- 57:32maxers rise up. No, I'm joking. I think he's joking. No,
- 57:37no, no, actually, you know what I shouldn't even say that.
- 57:38Maybe what you need to do is thug max, but you know,
- 57:42secretly be taxing. It's a gentle giant and you could do this. Then
- 57:49you could do the switcher route. Oh, here's here's what you do,
- 57:53guys. You thug max. Okay, but you keep all of your all
- 57:59of your sense activities and your kind and and just keep it to yourself and
- 58:05thug max and then when you get the relationship with the girl you spring,
- 58:09you know, the the internal nice guy on her, and you just let
- 58:15her think you tamed her, that he she tamed you. That's what you
- 58:19do. Yep, you have to hit her with the one two punch,
- 58:24start with the thug maxing and then the right hook of the of the nice
- 58:30guyism might enjoy risk more. So it's kind of like, why do they
- 58:35have more partners or something like that. There's some indication that they might actually
- 58:37even select down. So it might not be that they're more attractive, but
- 58:40it could be that they're much more tolerant of risk, or that they even
- 58:44seek risks out. So these are the people kind of approaching more risks like
- 58:47this. They go after the they go after the shure, the sure,
- 58:55the sure thing. Right, you say, they're less risk tolerant. A
- 59:00lot of these guys like he's absolutely right here. They go after the sure
- 59:02thing. Oh they go they go down a little bit. Yeah, well
- 59:08they go down and looks the ones that are a little healthier, might go
- 59:12down and looks the ones that are skanky. They just go straight to scrape
- 59:16something off the street. Yeah, I'm not kidding, I not wrong here,
- 59:23all right? Yeah, I believe me. Okay, so they're kind
- 59:27of reaping the fruits of that, so to speak. Was it you that
- 59:30discovered fifty percent of men aged eighteen to thirty haven't approached a woman in the
- 59:34last year. Yes, that sounds right. Yeah, the men throwing that
- 59:39statistic all over the internet. So I'm glad. I'm glad that I got
- 59:43the citation right. Yeah. And the men that have approached are doing remarkably
- 59:46well. A lot of the men who have approached, they more than half
- 59:51have gotten a date from it, you know, and it goes down if
- 59:52you look to like long term relationships, how many dates turn into a maybe
- 59:57a date? Yeah, I've seen his stats, like, yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:00a date. It doesn't doesn't mean much. I mean, like women
- 1:00:04go on dates with men just so they can get free meals, so it
- 1:00:07does. It doesn't mean much. And don't take them to the cheesecake factory.
- 1:00:10No, god, no, god. Yeah. But it's like I've
- 1:00:19seen his stats. They aren't actually that great. Yeah, I think maybe
- 1:00:25h what was it, maybe fourteen ended up in a long term relationship mm
- 1:00:31hmm. God damn. So, and you gotta know that those are the
- 1:00:36ones that are probably doing the best right, So progressively it's gonna be less
- 1:00:42and less mm hmm. That number is lower than it was. And the
- 1:00:50first dates that like become second dates or even third dates, but more importantly
- 1:00:55become like long term relationships, assuming that's the goal, that's what you really
- 1:01:01want to look at. You know, people want to play the field.
- 1:01:05That's fine, I don't you know, that's your business. That's not what
- 1:01:07I'm talking about. But like when what I think most people want is something
- 1:01:13like stable and easy. Honestly, like most people want to just find somebody,
- 1:01:17get married, settle down and be done with it. That's like even
- 1:01:22if they you know, when they're really young, maybe no, but like
- 1:01:23eventually, pretty early on, that's usually what they're thinking about. And the
- 1:01:28question is, does this data show that that's where those those first states lead?
- 1:01:34And I have my doubts. No, No, they don't seem to.
- 1:01:37Like so I think about fourteen percent or and a long term relationship.
- 1:01:44No marriages, apparently you can tell so well. And that's another thing too.
- 1:01:51Why why aren't men getting married? I Mean we talk about it on
- 1:01:53the show all the time. It is tremendously risky, So like, why
- 1:01:58isn't he addressing that. This is the thing that bugs me is that you
- 1:02:01know, you've got all this stuff to say about it, but you're not
- 1:02:05looking at like the systemic problems. And I hate to use the word systemic,
- 1:02:08but it applies here with Brian. All you have to do is blame
- 1:02:13men. Yeah, you just blame and systemic problems at all. Society doesn't
- 1:02:16have to look at itself, yea, when it can just blame men,
- 1:02:21that's going to be a really productive approach to fixing society's problems. You don't
- 1:02:24we don't have to look at it. We don't have to look at any
- 1:02:28of that. We don't have to look at the systemic problems. We don't
- 1:02:30have to look at the way that we might be failing men. We just
- 1:02:31have to blame men harder. That'll work, yep, yep, way,
- 1:02:38Oh yeah, go ahead. You create the system where the least risk adverse
- 1:02:44men who are positively correlated with the most violent, the most sexually aggressive,
- 1:02:49the most rapey men. You you you incentivize, and you make sure that
- 1:02:52the dating pool is restricted to them. More and more and more so,
- 1:02:58feminists turn around and institute even tighter controls on witmen approaching women, which gets
- 1:03:05rid of even more of the risk adverse men, leaving even more psychopaths be
- 1:03:10the only men willing to approach women and the only men women can choose from,
- 1:03:15which will lead to feminists increasing. It's like this negative viral and nobody
- 1:03:22wants to point it out. Yep, Like we are absolutely humping this stupidity
- 1:03:31to our doom. And you know, I know that you said Chris is
- 1:03:37trying. He's searching for I guess the answers. Well, I mean he's
- 1:03:39talking to people. I generally like his content. But yeah, I mean
- 1:03:44I don't think he's there yet. But go ahead, we're gonna say no,
- 1:03:49Well, I'm gonna say, like, he's talking to this guy,
- 1:03:51of course, not talking to us, right, yeah, well not yet,
- 1:03:57but yeah, I know what you mean, not yet. All right,
- 1:04:01let's play, let me jump. I think I'm gonna go to the
- 1:04:03next bit. So there's an uh, there's takeaways from Alex's survey on dating
- 1:04:09struggles, trying to connect the ideology of in cells. So there's one that
- 1:04:15could be interesting. Why competence is sexy? What people misunderstood about online dating,
- 1:04:20Women's preferences for dad boss, kind of stupid? The gap in libido.
- 1:04:26Is it important to ask about body count? But there is a bigger
- 1:04:29section called what the red pill is doing to marriage? Should we go into
- 1:04:33that one or is there anything jumping out at you that you're interested in?
- 1:04:43No, let's finish what we're doing right now, all right, all right,
- 1:04:46because there's another there's another little like upward bend in the roller coaster coming
- 1:04:53up soon. Yeah. Yeah, But the men who are approaching, they're
- 1:04:57doing pretty well. Actually, okay, so of men aged eighteen to thirty
- 1:05:01haven't approached a women in the last year, all of that fifty fifty percent
- 1:05:06of them did get a date. I wouldn't check again, but it might
- 1:05:11even be higher. It might have been. Actually, here's another thing.
- 1:05:15What's the ratio to rejection to date? Like how many men who have been
- 1:05:19rejected have also gone on a date? And how much do you expect,
- 1:05:25Like a man goes through a year's worth of rejection gets one date. Okay,
- 1:05:32Like at some point even the government allows men who've been searching for a
- 1:05:38job for years to just sort of fall off and be like, you know,
- 1:05:42I'm not doing it anymore. But apparently that's not the case. When
- 1:05:45when it's men looking for a woman. Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 1:05:49Yeah, it's like eventually, don't you think that if these men spend
- 1:05:56a year trying to get a date and they only you know, like only
- 1:06:00fifty percent of them get one, only like thirteen percent of them get any
- 1:06:04kind of ongoing relationship, you know, don't you think those are really terrible
- 1:06:12odds? Mm hmm. Yeah, those are bad odds, for sure.
- 1:06:17Those are bad odds. All right. The men who had it might have
- 1:06:23been even been about seventy percent at least got a date or a phone number
- 1:06:26or some kind of romantic connection there, and it goes down to about twenty
- 1:06:29percent that got a long term relationship out of it. But sex is higher,
- 1:06:32so you kind of see it go down like date, sex is a
- 1:06:35little bit lower, long term relationship is a little bit lower, but mostly
- 1:06:39there. Yeah, they're kind of people that approach women. They're getting dates
- 1:06:42from it. That's I don't know, that seems pretty positive to them.
- 1:06:46What are you gonna say, Good, Lord, that's positive. One year
- 1:06:54of rejection and only fifty percent of men got a date seems like a problem.
- 1:07:01That seems like a problem to me. Yep, But are you allowed
- 1:07:08to say that, though, Are you allowed to look at that and say,
- 1:07:11oh, this is a problem, because they'll you'll like, we live
- 1:07:14in a we live in a society where we are not supposed to be concerned
- 1:07:21with the dating world, specifically as it applies to women. So we can't
- 1:07:28even say, hey, ladies. You know, it's sort of like they,
- 1:07:31hey, ladies, aren't you aren't you letting these guys take you out?
- 1:07:36And it's like, you're just not allowed to do that. So we're
- 1:07:40not going to We're just not going to get to that. I guess we're
- 1:07:45going to say, well, I'm just we have a situation where the feminists
- 1:07:55are arranging social institutions to start making it more and more difficult for men to
- 1:08:02approach women. There's no way to get around that. Mm and like,
- 1:08:11this is the reward. You run that gauntlet, and out of a year
- 1:08:15of rejection, you fifty percent of you might get a date, which he
- 1:08:19knows it might just be a footie call. Yeah, and long term relationship.
- 1:08:27No, that doesn't work, Like, I mean a certain amount of
- 1:08:30that twenty percent supposedly, which I that's not what I read in his statistics.
- 1:08:32It was more like thirteen was people who had five long term relationships in
- 1:08:38a year, Like, something is either wrong with your your numbers or they
- 1:08:46don't know what the hell you mean by long term relationship, because you know,
- 1:08:49long term relationship is like you only get one in a year in a
- 1:08:54lifetime, maybe two, all right, but to me that those numbers sound
- 1:09:00really bad. Yeah, but let's keep going. They approach and I suppose
- 1:09:03you know, there's an argument to be made. Well, of course,
- 1:09:05the kind of guys that are approaching women, they're the ones that are full
- 1:09:09of the confidence, or they're the ones that know it's a sure thing.
- 1:09:12Of course, they're getting into relationships and having sex and going on dates and
- 1:09:15getting phone numbers and stuff. But given the fact that this is an exclusively
- 1:09:19agentic decision that you're making, right, Yeah, sure, if you have
- 1:09:25a little bit more confidence in yourself, it's going to make making the decision
- 1:09:28more easy. But ultimately, there's a huge chunk of people in that fifty
- 1:09:32percent that are doing it that probably are just as unsure and just as terrified
- 1:09:38and just as uncertain as you are. So yeah, I mean that's a
- 1:09:42serious white pill for why you should approach women. Absolutely, Yeah, That's
- 1:09:46one of the things that I've come to believe is that, you know,
- 1:09:48as far as the whole PUA thing and all of that goes, Yeah,
- 1:09:51like a lot of it just comes down to approaching women and it does seem
- 1:09:55to work. It's interesting, you said Edgentic as well, because I have
- 1:09:57some more data. I haven't put it out yet, but this looks at
- 1:10:00like locus of control and dating difficulties. So all right, I'm pausing up
- 1:10:03there for the banana. He's going to go into locus of control. Yeah,
- 1:10:08yeah, for some reason he like I asked him for his sources.
- 1:10:12Still no answer as far as I can tell. And if this, if
- 1:10:15he is the source, there's no there we. I don't think that this
- 1:10:19is peer reviewed research at the very least, or at least like something written
- 1:10:25up so we can look at his methodology. Yeah, oh no, not
- 1:10:30the controlled locusts again, controlled locusts. Yeah, controlled locusts. Bunny one,
- 1:10:39Harry, thank you. Okay, So I'll just do another shout out.
- 1:10:44Yeah message, please go to feed the Badger dot com slash just the
- 1:10:46tip. Brian has put some weird black magic into this so you can see
- 1:10:51your your super child. Yes, putting it on the screen, I think
- 1:10:57I want more. Oh, and also you want to really see some weirdness.
- 1:11:00You put a bunch of emotes in and they will dance around the screen.
- 1:11:04You'll see them appear on the screen and they'll bounce around like a ball.
- 1:11:10So feel free to drop some emotes and then look at the screen.
- 1:11:12You'll see them. All right, all right, go ahead, let's just
- 1:11:16all right, let's placus locusts. Let's hear about the locust swarm. I
- 1:11:21asked people to list all of these what do they think are their difficulties in
- 1:11:27dating? And then I coded those into a survey, got their responses,
- 1:11:30and I found a correlation with locus of control and dating difficulty. So individuals
- 1:11:32that have a higher internal locus of control, that are more edgentic, they
- 1:11:36tend to report that they have fewer difficulties dating. So that's another thing too,
- 1:11:40is that more edgentic individuals in that sense, like you said, yeah,
- 1:11:43they're probably doing better. Yeah. I think William Costello's most recent post
- 1:11:49about in cells found a wildly externalized locus of control exactly. Yeah, his
- 1:11:56recent paper exactly that he looked at the same thing locus control and sales had.
- 1:12:00Yeah, that higher external looks of control. You know, people with
- 1:12:02an external locus of control, they see the world as like, things just
- 1:12:05happen to me, it's out of my control. Whereas people with an internal
- 1:12:09locus of control, you know, they say, I make things happen.
- 1:12:12Things don't just happen to me, you know, right, So like psychos,
- 1:12:16Yeah, in some way, I understand what he's getting at with the
- 1:12:19internal and external locus of control. However, the changes to the dating landscape
- 1:12:27are external. Like I I again, I don't know why he can't see
- 1:12:32that a political group is changing the dating landscape and in the name of protecting
- 1:12:42women from sexual and relationship violence, is making the situation more dangerous for men.
- 1:12:49Mm hmm. Okay, So that's something that's a reality that's happening,
- 1:12:55and that is outside of men's control. The men have no control over a
- 1:12:59full accusation, you know, they have no control over getting a partner who
- 1:13:05is abusive. In some cases, I guess they could change what makes them
- 1:13:11attractive to abusive women. Yeah, that takes a lot of work, you
- 1:13:15know, and I get it. Like, you know, men are individuals
- 1:13:19with a very externalized locus of control. You really can't do much with them
- 1:13:27until they change that, until they take some responsibility for their life. But
- 1:13:30there are some things that are out of men's hands. And the idea is
- 1:13:39that feminists can basically have this level of control over the apparatus of society that
- 1:13:50dissuades people from engaging in certain activities. Shall we say, and it have
- 1:13:57no effect or men need to Men need to absorb every single effect with this
- 1:14:00belief about their internal locus of control. There's internal locus of control, and
- 1:14:04then there's delusion. Yeah, you know, I mean because you could say
- 1:14:11that Rasputant, you know, the Russian warlock, has a very huge internal
- 1:14:15locus of control. I mean he thinks he can control the tides and the
- 1:14:19celestial bodies. Yeah, but not really true, you know. So there's
- 1:14:26there's a level at which just blankets saying, oh look good, internal locus
- 1:14:30of control. Good. At some point it becomes delusion. And this idea
- 1:14:35that the dating landscape hasn't changed to become more politically and legally fraught for men
- 1:14:45seems to be delusional. Yep, I got a couple of superchows, one
- 1:14:55really big one. It's not I'm not gonna fit on the screen, but
- 1:14:57I'm gonna click on it anyways. Playe gives us five dollars. You see
- 1:15:01that and says, uh, let me give you a laughing badger chant because
- 1:15:06you've got you've made a massive paragraph. It's an essay. Five dollars and
- 1:15:12says I'm surprised y'all haven't mentioned the film Hitch the Date Doctor. The film
- 1:15:15is about a poa slash dating coach that helps average men that society would now
- 1:15:20call in cells get together with women they genuinely like. The funniest thing about
- 1:15:26the movie is that it stars Will Smith, and he acts chadlike and based,
- 1:15:30unlike in his real life where he's a nutless sissy beta cook. In
- 1:15:33the film, he tells a woman to her face that women are the hurdle
- 1:15:38between themselves and good men that actually likes them. Honestly, this film is
- 1:15:44so relevant today, and I remember watching this film in my preteens when it
- 1:15:47came out two thousand and five, and watching the scene where Will tells a
- 1:15:50woman that men can't just tell women that they like them, that women are
- 1:15:55difficult, I shouted in my head, he's fucking right. Lost my place
- 1:16:00In the film, Will has a backstory. Basically, he was a nerdy
- 1:16:04nice guy that approached the girl he liked and was publicly humiliated. Then he
- 1:16:09had to glow up and became a base chad that helps men. Watching the
- 1:16:12film now in hindsight and the juxtaposition of the character will played makes me giggle.
- 1:16:17Highly recommend watching the film. You can find the scene on YouTube where
- 1:16:20he tells a woman that men have it hard when it comes to wooing women.
- 1:16:25They like type hitch, date, doctor dash, love love and you'll
- 1:16:29find it well. Thank you who was that? That was? Like?
- 1:16:32So long, Plain Dan, and thank you Plain Day for the super chow.
- 1:16:36And I see people are putting emos in the chat. Hope you guys
- 1:16:39like that. I have a great example. I got a great example of
- 1:16:43a delusional internal locus of control. Have you ever heard an addict, like
- 1:16:49an alcoholics say I can quit anytime? Is that not a delusional internal locus
- 1:16:59of control? Yeah? Yeah, it's true. But that's basically assuming control
- 1:17:03over something that you may not actually have control over, or you haven't taken
- 1:17:10the steps to have control over. You're assuming control over it so you can
- 1:17:14dismiss actually gaining control over it. So how much of this that these men
- 1:17:20assuming control over the situation so they can avoid actually recognizing a lack of control?
- 1:17:29All right? How much of the so called external locust control men are
- 1:17:33men who are actually like you know, I recognize that HR has made it
- 1:17:38more difficult to approach women in the workplace. I recognize that feminist initiatives like
- 1:17:44me too, have made it more difficult for men to approach women at all.
- 1:17:48You know, I've recognized all this, And incidentally, all of the
- 1:17:54feminist initiatives in these areas are illegitimate on at their root, at their and
- 1:18:00the reason why they're illegitimate is because women engage in these behaviors as much or
- 1:18:06almost as much as men, And yet we don't have an interventions that are
- 1:18:12gender neutral and empower male victims of female harassers or female rapists or female sexual
- 1:18:18abusers. And because we don't, the feminist interventions are completely morally illegitimate.
- 1:18:28They've decided those victims that they care about. Well, once you've decided that
- 1:18:31you're only going to care about a certain select group of victims, you are
- 1:18:35not moral. You don't have no moral basis. And the only reason,
- 1:18:41in my opinion, that they've selected those victims is because those are the ones
- 1:18:44that make money, just like buying into certain men at this point, because
- 1:18:50there's there, I think there's more or more men who are waking up to
- 1:18:53the fact that no, it's not their fault. Yeah right, Like maybe
- 1:19:00maybe when you say something like the more risk adverse men are waking up to
- 1:19:06that, maybe it's the more risk aware men, right, yeah, Okay,
- 1:19:13like the guys who who you know, wouldn't darwin themselves, you know,
- 1:19:19the guys who would learn military discipline so they don't die on the battlefield,
- 1:19:24right, those guys, you know, the risk aware men and the
- 1:19:29men who are aware when something is out of their hands. That isn't an
- 1:19:33external locus of control. That's simply being practical. That's logical, Yeah,
- 1:19:40unlogical and rational because again that addict, you know, he can say to
- 1:19:46himself, oh yeah, I can quit any time. But Kenny, right,
- 1:19:51So an eternal locus of control isn't always accurate and isn't all please something
- 1:20:00that benefits the person. Sometimes you have to recognize that things are out of
- 1:20:04your control paradoxically in order to be able to change them. Mm hmm,
- 1:20:15all right, all right, I got a super chow another one from an
- 1:20:19alien named Paul, and Paul the alien gives us twenty dollars and says,
- 1:20:26hello there from Alpha Centauri. Your signals in the void of space got our
- 1:20:30attention. I would like to know what to do about automation putting our males
- 1:20:34out of work. What solutions have worked on Earth? Well, I guess
- 1:20:41you need men to build the machines, and to repair the machines, and
- 1:20:45to maintain the machines. It's going to be a while before I think we're
- 1:20:48dealing with that. When it comes to infrastructure jobs, yeah, well,
- 1:20:54likely lose white collar jobs. They're honestly white collar jobs. I think women
- 1:20:58are the ones that are going to suffer them most. At first, they're
- 1:21:01gonna be out of the job. Yeah, there, it's gonna be because
- 1:21:04because all that administrative data entry bullshit like that, that's gonna be gone.
- 1:21:11And then and there won't be need for human resources because there's fewer humans,
- 1:21:15so you know, I mean doing that work. So I think, honestly,
- 1:21:19when men are obviously gonna lose their jobs, but I think women are
- 1:21:23gonna lose more. I think they tend to, especially because they tend to
- 1:21:27gravitate towards white color work. So that's what I think. Ye, men
- 1:21:30are more likely the certain their own businesses or whatever, so they wouldn't like
- 1:21:34need to sweat that too much. Yeah, but let's let's okay, so
- 1:21:41let's hear a little bit more where I got another, I got another super
- 1:21:44chow. This is from Nova fan. I should this is a rumble rant.
- 1:21:48My apologies rumble rants from nova fan. Thank you put some rumble chands
- 1:21:54in the chat. Uh, guys on rumble guys, follow us on rumbled.
- 1:21:57Rumble's a great platform. Just say we need to make a grow and
- 1:22:00also thank you for people who subscribed to the gaming channel over unrumble as well.
- 1:22:05Okay, Nov twenty one gives us a dollar and says I'd love to
- 1:22:09see him still talk big if enough feminists false flag his content shut him down.
- 1:22:15Well, why would they? He's a feminist. It's inevitable. But
- 1:22:20yeah, he is a feminist. But that doesn't that doesn't make him safe.
- 1:22:24Yeah, I take that back. Yeah, well, let's wait for
- 1:22:30the uh, let's wait for the false accusation. Usually, as the life
- 1:22:34cycle, either he gets into some horrendous drama or a false ecuation. Yeah,
- 1:22:41well, okay, let's keep going. All right, let's play some
- 1:22:43more. Whatever happens in life, I have some control over that. Yeah,
- 1:22:46you asked people that survey. I really loved it. You asked people
- 1:22:50about the biggest struggles with dating they were experiencing that were holding them back.
- 1:22:55What were the big takeaways that you learned from that? Well, A big
- 1:22:59one that emerged was fear of rejection for men, specifically dating apps. A
- 1:23:02lot said, you know, they just don't do well on dating apps.
- 1:23:05That was another big one. A lot had to do with compatibility and particularly
- 1:23:10some big sex differences. There. About seventy percent of women scored highly,
- 1:23:14which was a six or seven on a seven point like It scale, and
- 1:23:16said I can't find someone that I'm intellectually attracted to, which is something that
- 1:23:20I didn't expect to be so high, But apparently not being able to make
- 1:23:24an intellectual connection was one. Another difference was a lot of women, much
- 1:23:28more than men, said that they felt there was a lot of sexual pressure
- 1:23:31in demand for them. So those are things as well. Let me pause
- 1:23:34it there for a second, because I think it's important that we unpack this
- 1:23:41thing about intellectual compatibility. I don't think that it has to do with whether
- 1:23:48or not a man is like a match for a woman intellectually. I think
- 1:23:53that when I don't know if this guy knows this, but when I think
- 1:23:57when they say intellectually compatible, I think they mean, does he share my
- 1:24:02politics? Does he share my beliefs? Is he a feminist? And I
- 1:24:09know some of you guys might say, well, not all women on dating
- 1:24:13apps are feminists. No, basically everybody is feminist to some degree. And
- 1:24:16I think especially women, Okay, especially women, because they're going so when
- 1:24:23think about it, Okay, you go on a dating site and there's women
- 1:24:25on there, and and they're they're looking for a guy who they like,
- 1:24:30and that guy should essentially be their their intellectual equal, is what they will
- 1:24:36say. Now, we know that, like you know, there's like the
- 1:24:43Bell curve difference between male IQ and female IQ is like there are more women
- 1:24:48in the middle and there and there are more men on the extreme ns.
- 1:24:51You know, we've gone through that. So this is in most cases though
- 1:24:56people are gonna be like relatively evenly matched. So is it women are still
- 1:25:01finding so many men unattractive based on intellectual compatibility? Well, I don't think
- 1:25:08it has through intellect. I think it has to do with do you agree
- 1:25:11with me? Do you believe you know all of my political do you agree
- 1:25:16with my political views? And you know how I know that because there was
- 1:25:18a study that came out that showed that generation Z women are and men are
- 1:25:27further apart in their political beliefs than they have been in previous generations. So
- 1:25:31they're moving further away from each other. Despite the fact that you know,
- 1:25:38uh, there's this idea that if men lead, women will follow. It's
- 1:25:42not happening. Women are getting educated a certain way and they're going further to
- 1:25:46the left and men are going a little bit to the right and that and
- 1:25:51that gap is growing, and for women it is and they see it as
- 1:25:57an irreconcilable difference because they're so certain that what they believe is correct, and
- 1:26:02so they just need to find the guy that believes that. So it's not
- 1:26:05about to me. I don't think it's about intellectual compatibility. I think it's
- 1:26:10about do you have the same religion as me? And men have no interest
- 1:26:14in that because they've seen how hostile feminism is to men. So you're finding
- 1:26:18that more younger men are like, well, I don't want anything to do
- 1:26:20with that because obviously that ideology, that ideology hates me, so maybe they
- 1:26:27their profile. I might even say, look, I don't yeah incidentally,
- 1:26:30what no, yeah, no, I was just saying that. You know,
- 1:26:35it's it's if a man is upfront and says, look, I'm not
- 1:26:41interested in a woman that you know is feminist or whatever, then he'll probably
- 1:26:48just get rejected on that basis because that woman will say, oh, so
- 1:26:51you hate women, and this is not, like I said, this is
- 1:26:55not something that is only like, I don't know the the purview of academic
- 1:27:00feminists or political feminists or even coffee shop feminists. It's just I think it's
- 1:27:05just the average woman, especially young women, you know that. I think
- 1:27:10that they just say, well, if you don't believe, you know,
- 1:27:13if you're not pro Palestine, or if you're not whatever it is, whatever
- 1:27:16it is, then like that we're not compatible. And that means because you
- 1:27:20know, I have learned that, that means that you are not my intellectual
- 1:27:25equal. So I think that's what the thing is. Okay, Basically,
- 1:27:29if you don't share the politics of a woman, she thinks you're stupid.
- 1:27:32That's what they mean by intellectual compatibility. Well, what I was going to
- 1:27:38say is, first of all, do you notice how we've suddenly shifted into
- 1:27:41how men are not measuring up to women. Yeah, that's why I'm bringing
- 1:27:45that up. Of course, women are going to find more sexual pressure because
- 1:27:49the only men who are left with interest in them are only interested in one
- 1:27:53thing. Yeah, Like, let's be honest, low gas prices, no,
- 1:28:00not, that's not that's not it a hero sandwich, No, anyway,
- 1:28:06not finding someone who is physically attractive enough. Yeah, women scored higher
- 1:28:11in that as well. I think that had a coens d of about point
- 1:28:13six, so about a medium sized difference there. So those are all things
- 1:28:16like I can't find someone i'm attracted to, I'm afraid to approach people because
- 1:28:19I'm afraid to be rejected, can't make a connection with someone on an emotional
- 1:28:24or intellectual level as well. The intellectual one is so interesting, like a
- 1:28:29whole bunch of stuff there, Isn't he conflating a whole bunch of stuff there?
- 1:28:32Like yeah, a little bit. It seems like all right, so
- 1:28:36is it? He's almost like saying that women are not getting this and also
- 1:28:41their fear of rejection mm hmm down a lot of people watching. Welcome,
- 1:28:48see some new faces you work too, Welcome to the show. Hope you
- 1:28:53guys subscribe and like the video so we can reach more people. This is
- 1:28:56great and I hope that you like the new sort of I hope that that
- 1:29:01you're not here because you believe the click baity headline. We don't actually have
- 1:29:05secret I mean, we don't have secret knowledge and we're not furries. Don't
- 1:29:11even bring it up. This is brand honestly, Honestly, of all the
- 1:29:15men that I know who talk in this fear, I would say, guys
- 1:29:19would do the best to listen to Brian, that is my co host,
- 1:29:26because Brian, how do I say this without Please don't take offense at this.
- 1:29:32You hit way above your weight. Oh well, thank you? What
- 1:29:38wait what are you talking about? Yeah? I love my wife. I
- 1:29:43think she's beautiful. I think you're beautiful. Okay, but I hit above
- 1:29:48my weight? What do you? Yeah? Yeah, you know I mean
- 1:29:50that you you are you, you are good with the ladies, you know.
- 1:29:57Yeah, you know what I mean. I'm trying kind to say that,
- 1:30:01like, honestly, I think that you have a lot of natural talent.
- 1:30:08When it comes to being well, maybe not natural because you've talked about
- 1:30:12like, yeah, I had it, I had to work on it.
- 1:30:15Yeah. So you have like a social facility and you're good with you're good
- 1:30:19with being able to develop interest women's interest in you, at least from the
- 1:30:26past, I mean know now with your wife, and I mean I find
- 1:30:30that more more something for people from men who are interested in having a woman
- 1:30:35to to listen to than like Jim Brows, like these two dudes who are
- 1:30:43still in there, like their late twenties pew Pay stage of being pickup artists.
- 1:30:48I don't know about Chris. Maybe Chris is totally not out of that.
- 1:30:51But I mean I've I've seen over the last twenty five years, I've
- 1:30:55seen a model, a brilliant young man Alfredo, Saint Gene, siss a
- 1:31:03guru. I don't know why it's doing that. I didn't go says I
- 1:31:10didn't. I know, I didn't do that. Like there's a text to
- 1:31:13speech thing. I guess, yeah, this thing is. This thing has
- 1:31:17got lots of gizmos. Man. I can do text to speech on comments.
- 1:31:23I can like make the make the emotes dance. I am I got
- 1:31:27I have control over the chat. I'm just saying just maybe maybe more.
- 1:31:32Maybe I turned it off. I turned off. I don't know why it
- 1:31:34turned on, but I turned off. Okay, great. But what I'm
- 1:31:39trying to get at is, like I've seen out like the dates psych Alex
- 1:31:43guy. I've seen a lot of pickup artists like him, and they sort
- 1:31:47of have a life cycle. It seems like they go through this this,
- 1:31:51then they they go through I don't know, a good period where everything's working
- 1:31:57out for them. Then they hit the wall, and then I swear to
- 1:32:00fucking god, they turn into like a Hollywood starlet over the age of fifty,
- 1:32:06you know what I mean, Like just constant drama, constant like crying
- 1:32:11mascara everywhere, and and it's just it's just like he's in that kind of
- 1:32:16okay, He's he's he's doing okay stage, and then he's gonna either hit
- 1:32:20a false accusation or maybe things aren't gonna start working out for him. But
- 1:32:26my overall point is that they're skating by on the fact that they're young and
- 1:32:30good looking right now, yeah, right, and they're fit, they don't
- 1:32:35have the problems of normal people or normal men, right and you don't want
- 1:32:43to listen to like honestly, it's like a It's like a fifty year old
- 1:32:47woman listening to a twenty year old woman about how she deals with her life.
- 1:32:53It's like, yeah, your solutions are not relevant to my life,
- 1:32:59lady. You know, like listening to guys like this for dating advice is
- 1:33:02pointless if I want to convey anything to the people listening, don't go to
- 1:33:09guys like this for dating advice. Yeah, what I find about these guys
- 1:33:15And I say this with the with some concern for generalizing, so I don't
- 1:33:24follow Alex state psych. I don't know him very well, so I could
- 1:33:28very well be wrong. So maybe I'm not saying this about this person.
- 1:33:31But what I've noticed about a lot of these PUA types is that there is
- 1:33:38there is definitely like experience and knowledge about dynamics between men and women. But
- 1:33:44what's missing to me is authenticity. I don't and I'm not saying they're lying,
- 1:33:49but I feel like i'm getting I'm not getting the real person, you
- 1:33:55know what I'm saying, Like, I'm getting like the product. So Alex,
- 1:34:00he's got like the hair and the braid on his little beard, and
- 1:34:04he's wearing a shirt that shows off like it's like when you know, it's
- 1:34:09like there's a saying. I don't know if you know you know the saying,
- 1:34:12but like the saying is that men are salesmen and women are marketers.
- 1:34:15And what it means is men have to approach and they have to sell themselves
- 1:34:23to women and women have They just get dressed up, they get ready,
- 1:34:29and essentially they are marketed. They market themselves. So it doesn't work.
- 1:34:33It's like the difference between going to someone's house and sell them a vacuum cleaner
- 1:34:38and someone going into a store and there's a vacuum cleaner on display and it's
- 1:34:43like really well displayed, right. And so what I get from guys like
- 1:34:47Alex is that he's he is he he's kind of marketing himself, Like you
- 1:34:54can tell that. He was like, I'm gonna sit down do this interview,
- 1:34:57and I'm gonna set up everything to look like I'm I am totally the
- 1:35:00Chad like I get the ladies right. And because of that, I just
- 1:35:03get this sense that there's something inauthentic about it, and I appreciate authenticity.
- 1:35:10I was talking to Paul Elam weeks ago because he lives here in Rono,
- 1:35:15and we did a brunch together and I was talking about this stuff, and
- 1:35:18one of the things he said about me was he says that, you know,
- 1:35:23it's not you don't see people who are authentic. Like online, there's
- 1:35:28a lot of I don't want to say fakeness, but you know, there's
- 1:35:31just a lot of people like putting on they like play a character. They're
- 1:35:34putting on a showy, they got a thing. And then I never figured
- 1:35:38that out, so I just didn't bother. So, you know, but
- 1:35:42I think authenticity is what people want. I think, especially now that the
- 1:35:45Internet's become like kind of passe, like normalized, Like it's not like,
- 1:35:50oh my god, that person on the Internet. That's weird. Right now,
- 1:35:54everybody's on the Internet. So I think there is something about that.
- 1:35:59And I don't I do kind of get it from Chris Williamson, I have
- 1:36:02to say, but I don't get it from Alex. I feel like he's
- 1:36:05giving us a representative. He's sitting an ambassador for his brand. Right.
- 1:36:11Well, Chris looks like he's just sort of he's just like a fitness He's
- 1:36:15like a fitness guy. Yeah, but he's on a journey. But my
- 1:36:18point is that when you look at these guys and yeah, sure, I
- 1:36:23mean, maybe they can be inspirational to go and get your fitness goals in
- 1:36:27and whatever else, but they're not going to they're not going to have an
- 1:36:31experience with the average man's experience with the dating pool. They're just not.
- 1:36:39So wait until they start to be on the other side of the curve.
- 1:36:44And men have this too, when they start to get gray in their beard,
- 1:36:48when you know, like they're they're starting to deal with with erectile difficulties,
- 1:36:55other kind of stuff. You know, there start to be less that
- 1:37:00that lifestyle tends to be there, tend to be getting less and less from
- 1:37:04it. And that's when you have to ask, Okay, well now you're
- 1:37:09now you have to rely on your authenticity. Now you have to rely on
- 1:37:15your social skills that you've developed, And how do they do then? And
- 1:37:19in my experience, like I was saying, a lot of these guys crash
- 1:37:21and burn. So I think that the the benefit you're going to get out
- 1:37:30of talking to or listening to a guy who is a I don't know seven
- 1:37:34or higher like up up there, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 1:37:38it's going to be minimal if you're an average guy, and what you want
- 1:37:44to look for is guys who've got their life pretty well set up and they
- 1:37:48are you know, they're not they're not really high. They're not they're not
- 1:37:53part of the group of men who women would look at and say, oh,
- 1:37:57yeah, he's attractive immediately. M hm. That makes sense. Yeah,
- 1:38:01I think saying that they're unattractive. But what what guys are trying to
- 1:38:08do, Like Alex, I think if they if they appear put together,
- 1:38:14then other men will find that inspiring. But I think that if it's if
- 1:38:18you're comfortable and you have like, uh, I don't care what you think
- 1:38:24about me kind of attitude, I think that you might do better. I
- 1:38:29think that men have like there's something men don't look at just like, oh,
- 1:38:31look at how shredded that guy is. Like I think that men are
- 1:38:34like, oh wow, that guy. You know, he's so he's so
- 1:38:40frank, he's so earnest, he's so you know, he's got integrity.
- 1:38:44He seems honorable, right, he's decent, but not a pushover. That's
- 1:38:47the stuff that I think guys want to see. I think it's like these
- 1:38:50kind of internal qualities. You know, they they're they're expressing the virtues like
- 1:38:57like temperance and uh some stoicism and you know, and and wisdom. I
- 1:39:04think that's the stuff that guys want. They want to see that because that's
- 1:39:09what they want to know. It's just me. Yeah, And if I
- 1:39:12were talking to Alex, I think i'd find that thing on his chin very
- 1:39:15distracting. Some I guess some women are into it. I don't. I
- 1:39:23know, he's probably niche maxing of some kind. Yeah, but I'm like
- 1:39:29that would just be triggering my autism the entire time. He probably find me
- 1:39:34like creeping after him with a pair of scissors. Yeah. I kind of
- 1:39:39regret telling people about the emails because now jan Newman can't stop putting him on
- 1:39:43the screen. But anyway, let's you want to play some more or should
- 1:39:49we wrap it up? We can do more of this. There is there
- 1:39:51is a say okay, go ahead and deal with that. There there is
- 1:39:57a couple of other sections and I think is useful, but we don't want
- 1:40:00to do the whole thing. I would say takeaways from Alex's survey on dating
- 1:40:04struggles is good trying to correct the ideology of in cells might be like,
- 1:40:10I think that could be its own show. Some of this other stuff is
- 1:40:14kind of like no, no shit, you know, but that I would
- 1:40:17I wouldn't. I think it'd be good to go through the what the red
- 1:40:20Pill is doing to marriage part because I think that bit. I don't remember
- 1:40:26it exactly, but I feel like it's it's kind of in the same ballpark
- 1:40:30that like a lot of these Daily Wire guys were doing, where they were
- 1:40:33just like, well it's tough, but you just got to do it,
- 1:40:36and you know, Pearl was giving it to them and rightly. So I
- 1:40:41think that's more like that, and I think that it's very important because the
- 1:40:44thing is like we gotta you know, you gotta fix the laws, guys.
- 1:40:48That's the only way, Like, you gotta fix the laws. I'm
- 1:40:51sorry, I'm I'm you know, I am a small government guy. I
- 1:40:56don't want to bring the state in. But the only way that's gonna change
- 1:40:59that you it's not bringing the state in, it's taking it out. That's
- 1:41:02what has to happen. You have to get it out of marriage, you
- 1:41:05have to get it out of divorce. You have to make things more well
- 1:41:11just I don't even want to say equitable or fair. I just want to
- 1:41:14say just. It has to be more just, and it's not right now.
- 1:41:17And you know you're seeing this all the time, Like, oh,
- 1:41:21speaking of the rejection thing, I don't remember off the top of my head.
- 1:41:27Let me look real quick, but do you remember the story There was
- 1:41:30like a sports thing in Spain or something. Let me see here, Yeah,
- 1:41:36you know the one the guy yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Rubyalz
- 1:41:42banned for three years over World Cup kiss. Former Spanish Football Federation president Lewis
- 1:41:47ruby aals Is banned from all football related activities for three years by FIFA because
- 1:41:54he was excited at like a victory and he kissed one of the players,
- 1:41:58right, it was a woman, And yeah, like this is what this
- 1:42:02is why men are a little bit reluctant to approach. You could tell me
- 1:42:08this is rare, but the point is that these are very high profile examples
- 1:42:12and they're everywhere. And some of these guys they go to jail for decades.
- 1:42:16What was his name from that seventy show He got like thirty something years
- 1:42:25or like something that is not proven that happened like twenty years ago. I
- 1:42:31mean, that's why would guys put themselves through that, and these are like
- 1:42:35these are like the top one percent Masterson, That's right, these guys are
- 1:42:41like, these are like one percent dudes, Like these are guys that can
- 1:42:45have any one Danny Masterson, thank you, treat surgeon, and and so
- 1:42:53like what happens to the regular guy? What happens to the regular guy and
- 1:42:57then his friends, his cohos co stars or whatever from that Stepney shows like
- 1:43:00Ashton Kutcher and me Lacutas, they throw them under the bus. We believe
- 1:43:03survivors we don't even know, So like, have you guys considered that that
- 1:43:11climate? Well? And also these these these poles that this pole he supposedly
- 1:43:17conducted, how do we know When men answer them, they're not concerned about
- 1:43:21what the reaction would be if they said I'm worried about legal consequences, and
- 1:43:27so instead they just say, well, I'm afraid of rejection. But really
- 1:43:30it's this other thing. I just don't want people to think because if you
- 1:43:33say, well, I don't want to be falsely accused, what's the feminist
- 1:43:36response to that? Well, what do you have to be afraid of?
- 1:43:39Are you some kind of abuser? So it's kind of like it's a you
- 1:43:45know, damned if you do, damned if you don't. All right,
- 1:43:49I got another super chat from Albernata. Retro gets his two dollars and says
- 1:43:54Brian gained confidences during his Manudo days. I was not in Manudo. I
- 1:43:59don't know who told you that I was. I probably wouldn't be doing this.
- 1:44:04I'd be on the Save by the Bell remake or Something'll be hosting extra.
- 1:44:12All right. I think that's all the super Child, So, uh,
- 1:44:16do you want to keep going or should we like wrap it up or
- 1:44:20something. Let's uh, let's okay, how far are we into this this
- 1:44:26section? Uh, this is kind of like close to the middle of it,
- 1:44:30so there's probably what are we at ten forty four and it's like three
- 1:44:34two minutes left? See if we can get through it? All right,
- 1:44:38let's play the rest of this and kind of runs against I think a lot
- 1:44:42of common held dating commentary on the internet because it's very difficult for us to
- 1:44:47quantify what intellectual compatibility or sapio sexual success actually is, right, Like,
- 1:44:56no one's talking about that on the internet, you know those say and I
- 1:45:00hear this, SOHO house as a research base for you to go out of
- 1:45:04should be one of the first places that you look at. If you sit
- 1:45:08around the pool at any SOHO house on a Saturday afternoon in a relatively warm
- 1:45:12country, you will get so many fascinating stories about girls in there from twenty
- 1:45:18five to forty and their dating challenges. And dude, I it's my ethnographic
- 1:45:25like in person research center, and I'll just sit and just ask questions or
- 1:45:30overhear conversations about what people are talking about. And a lot of the conversations
- 1:45:33that these girls are saying is, you know, guys are intellectually immature,
- 1:45:39emotionally immature. They don't really understand how to take care of themselves. And
- 1:45:43then I say, okay, so if you tried dating older, like if
- 1:45:45you look okay, pausing it there, So these guys aren't measuring up in
- 1:45:53some other way, So what the okay, what are you going to say?
- 1:45:58I play the rest of this, Yeah, just play the rest of
- 1:46:00it. Like the thing is that I mean, yeah, okay, your
- 1:46:02anecdote is fascinating. Yeah, but here's the thing. Men are held to
- 1:46:10a standard of maturity, are women? Yeah, held to it? In
- 1:46:15other words, women are judged based on how well they control their crying,
- 1:46:21their emotions. How there's that they don't express them, that they focus on
- 1:46:26goals, that they focus on protecting and providing for others, that kind of
- 1:46:29adult behavior, like how much are are you know? What are these women
- 1:46:35comparing these men to themselves? I mean, and honestly, it's not that
- 1:46:40I necessarily disagree with them. In my own experience, there is a deficit
- 1:46:45and kind of socialization of men, but it's because they don't have relationships with
- 1:46:51other men anymore. Like you don't have the bull elephants sort of teaching the
- 1:46:56younger elephants not to be dicks, you know, not only quite like that,
- 1:47:00but you know what I mean, right, Yeah, Basically you're just
- 1:47:05saying, what's the situation for women? You have a whole branch of socialization
- 1:47:12of young men that doesn't happen anymore. M h. Originally it happened through
- 1:47:17boys and men socializing with each other yep, to a degree, you know,
- 1:47:23and fathers and brothers. M hm. Yes, and that's that's not
- 1:47:30really happening. All right. I got a super chat from albert Ata retro.
- 1:47:34He just dropped some emojis, so thank you. I don't know,
- 1:47:39laugh emoji, cry laugh emoji and then like, I guess a rolling cry
- 1:47:42laugh malone. I don't even know how to describe it, but thank you
- 1:47:45for the emojis and the two dollars Canadian thank you. Okay, Layler looked
- 1:47:50at you know, thirty thirty five forty. They say yeah, And you
- 1:47:55know, these problems aren't necessarily solved by the passage of time. That there
- 1:48:00are you know, adult infants and sort of man children all over the place.
- 1:48:03And again with this, it would be the low resolution solution to this
- 1:48:11would be don't worry about trying to become intellectually or emotionally interesting or mature.
- 1:48:17Just earn more and you will be able to offset your emotional immaturity. That
- 1:48:23would be kind of common health Internet wisdom, at least for a lot of
- 1:48:26men. Okay, just a second, are you fucking kidding me? Consider
- 1:48:32the difference in standard that women are held to in terms of their behavior towards
- 1:48:39men, and the difference in standard of men are held to towards their behavior
- 1:48:42and women, like men, are told not to hit women. Okay,
- 1:48:47that is legally enforced. All of the evidence points to women hitting more,
- 1:48:56and the only evidence that supposedly contrad that is taken from from highly selected studies
- 1:49:04of I don't know women abused abused women's shelters. So yeah, women are
- 1:49:11hting more unilaterally than men. Women engage in more coercive control. Like what
- 1:49:17standard are we losing here? I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you when you say
- 1:49:25that boys, young men are not poorly socialized. I would agree with you.
- 1:49:30There's a huge component of their socialization that they would have gotten in the
- 1:49:33past that they're no longer getting, which is relationships with other men, which
- 1:49:38is positive relationships with other men, which is other men helping them and teaching
- 1:49:43them how to behave how to have a conversation, how to take turns talking,
- 1:49:47how to present something interesting, how to tell when someone's fucking bored at
- 1:49:51what you're talking about. All of that stuff usually was worked out between men.
- 1:49:59Okay, and I've seen that process in the discord. Okay, that
- 1:50:03doesn't happen. So there are some guys that I've seen even floating into the
- 1:50:09discord, the HBr discord, absolutely terribly socialized. Like and the funny thing
- 1:50:16is is that these guys are usually the ones that are absolutely obsessed with the
- 1:50:24idea that a woman is going to fix them. Yeah, you know,
- 1:50:27a woman's gonna come into our It is a religious belief. It's like the
- 1:50:30fem Jesus is going to come into my life and my life will be perfect.
- 1:50:35That's like, no, that's not gonna happen. But they need that
- 1:50:40belief in order to keep functioning, you know. And yeah, there is
- 1:50:45a big problem. We have constructed, a gigantic problem for ourselves. And
- 1:50:50the least of it is that women who are most likely as infantile, if
- 1:50:57not more than the men that they're complaining about, aren't getting approached and aren't
- 1:51:01getting the relationships they want. That's the least of it. At this point,
- 1:51:05I'm more concerned about making sure young men continue with the you know,
- 1:51:13like I mean, just on a personal selfish level, I'd like to keep
- 1:51:15electricity as a thing. Yeah, yeah, you guys are talking about all
- 1:51:23the young men's aren't approached. Who gives a fuck. Let's keep electricity as
- 1:51:28a thing and we'll worry about this other shit as it goes. I mean,
- 1:51:30it's really critical because we do need to have a future. But here's
- 1:51:34the other thing. What happened to you know, the whole idea that women.
- 1:51:42I mean, we used to talk about how women socializing men was,
- 1:51:45like you know, it's it's sort of missing miss misinterests. But that's almost
- 1:51:50better than this. Yeah, it's like you expect this man to just just
- 1:51:56act like someone who has been in a long term relationship would act. Like.
- 1:52:01The thing is that the long term relationship itself is the process of accommodating
- 1:52:06each other because you know, learning to when you need to just be like
- 1:52:12okay, dear, and then and then they'll do it for you when you're
- 1:52:16having a hissy fit over I don't know, having a migraine or something,
- 1:52:20right, you know, it's a give and take and learning that give and
- 1:52:25take is a process of maturation in and of itself. So what and what
- 1:52:29happened to this whole thing? Like, Oh, you get into relationship with
- 1:52:31a man, you grow together, so to a degree you raise, you
- 1:52:35raise him, he most likely raises you too. All Right, you grow
- 1:52:40as people together. I guess that's out the window. Now. They just
- 1:52:43want a man who is perfect right out of the starting gate, are they?
- 1:52:48I don't know anyway, Yeah, I just like how all of this
- 1:52:53has gone from you know, men are cowards or men are risk adverse.
- 1:52:56That's why they're not approaching women to Men are not actually giving and what they
- 1:53:00want men are children. Like it, okay, Chris, because you seem
- 1:53:04the more sensible of the two. At what point do you stop blaming men?
- 1:53:09Yeah, like, you know, like, is this this is something
- 1:53:13that we all do in this society. It's very rare to find people who
- 1:53:16don't do it. We're some of them. Okay, but what we've noticed
- 1:53:21us standing here on the not blaming men, you know, uh sieur side,
- 1:53:30which is very thin, let's admit it. So we notice that you
- 1:53:34guys on the other side, that's basically all you do. You just sit
- 1:53:40there, you know, and you got I don't know, you like a
- 1:53:43in a on a on a mound surrounded by alligators, which are the the
- 1:53:47the brass tacks of the reality that you're constructing for yourself, and you'd you're
- 1:53:51like a bunch of fucking dodo birds like you, Chris, and you're just
- 1:53:55sitting there and then one of you get snapped up by an alligator and you're
- 1:53:59like, don't don't, well, that's men's fault. Then another one gets
- 1:54:03snapped up by an alligator. Oh that's men, It's like, and it's
- 1:54:08starting to feel like blaming men is your is basically your way of saying,
- 1:54:12we refuse to recognize the problem is the alligators. Yep, good lord,
- 1:54:17all right, all right, let's hear some more blaming men. Yeah,
- 1:54:23yeah, exactly. I think a lot of people don't think about that.
- 1:54:26And something I noticed when I followed up and I and I saw that it
- 1:54:29was so big on that intellectual compatibility. I ask people, well, what
- 1:54:30does that mean to you when you see a question like that? And a
- 1:54:33lot of men interpret it to me like, but I'm very intelligent, I
- 1:54:36have a very high IQ. And I don't think that's exactly what women mean
- 1:54:41when they're when they're saying I can't find a man who is intellectually compatible.
- 1:54:44I don't think they mean, yeah, they mean politically compatible. That's what
- 1:54:47I'm saying, Like, this is the problem is that, And that's and
- 1:54:50the truth is too, that's not really what women want, like they they'll
- 1:54:57say that, but they know they want they I think what women want generally
- 1:55:01is someone who's going to at least challenge them, like I mean, they
- 1:55:08may not say it, but I think that's what they want. I think
- 1:55:11anybody wants a friend or partner that they they feel challenged by because they respect
- 1:55:18that. And I think that when you ask women what they want, they
- 1:55:24generally don't tell you. I mean, I'm sorry for danger of like,
- 1:55:29you know, making stereotypes. I think generally women don't say what they want.
- 1:55:32They just kind of feel it and then like and they and they have
- 1:55:35to make these kind of assumptions. They have to say, oh, you
- 1:55:41know, I want him to be intellectually compatible, which means I want him
- 1:55:44to agree with me politically. But if I allow that, I'm gonna basically
- 1:55:47like hate him because he's not gonna push back on anything. He's not gonna
- 1:55:51challenge me. He's just gonna agree with everything. So they say, I
- 1:55:56want a SIMP, but I don't want a simp, so that that's the
- 1:55:58problem, And that's what I think. I mean, maybe I'm wrong,
- 1:56:02but that's what I think. So you know what I'm saying, Alison or
- 1:56:08me, you can decision. Yeah I do. But here's okay again,
- 1:56:11We're we're talking about how men are disappointing women in relationships, and the problem
- 1:56:17is that men are no longer approaching women for relationships. Yes, Like,
- 1:56:24do you understand how this seems to be like complict This discussion seems really dumb.
- 1:56:29Like the progression of the discussion is men aren't approaching women for relationships.
- 1:56:35Okay, well that's because they're risk adverse. Your assumption is that these men
- 1:56:41actually want relationships, now, yeah, like that, there's the other assumption.
- 1:56:46Guys can say, yeah, I'm risk adverse, but this it's more
- 1:56:51than just risk. It's risk assessment. So these men are not just looking
- 1:56:57at oh, I could face a false accusation, then looking at I can
- 1:57:00face a false accusation, And at the end of the day, is it
- 1:57:02worth it? And they're saying no, Yeah, they're opting out. It's
- 1:57:08like they're removing themselves from Yeah, they've just decided it's not worth it.
- 1:57:13So why are we now having a discussion about how the men who haven't opted
- 1:57:20out are failing the women that they're with. Because this is actually sort of
- 1:57:27hilarious too, because he's saying, well, if you just keep at it,
- 1:57:30if you endure a year of rejection, you might be one of the
- 1:57:34lucky thirteen percent that ends up in a long term relationship. Incidentally, a
- 1:57:39lot of that thirteen percent was two long term relationships in a year. So
- 1:57:43these are not long term relationships. I don't know how the hell he's defining
- 1:57:45them, but anyway, Oh yeah, so yeah, so this you might
- 1:57:50be part of them. But here's how you if you're part of that long
- 1:57:55term relationship. Here's how you're disappointing the ladies. Oh good lord, yeah,
- 1:58:01just let's blame men more. Oh oh oh, bob, God eaten,
- 1:58:06blame men. Okay, let's keep going. All right, a little
- 1:58:10bit more and everyone is stupid? Are they not? High? Iq?
- 1:58:13I think they mean, is it someone that's interesting that can connect to me
- 1:58:16emotionally, that can connect to me on a mental level and relate to me,
- 1:58:20which is related to cognitive ability as part of what's called social cognition theory
- 1:58:25of mind. How well do you understand the emotional states of another person?
- 1:58:30How well can you predict accurately what the other person is thinking? I think
- 1:58:32not being boring is actually a really big part of it, as well as
- 1:58:35far as that intellectual compatibility. If you have nothing that you relate on,
- 1:58:40hey, here you go go to relate to someone as probably a big part
- 1:58:44of it, where if I'm just saying, you know, this is something
- 1:58:47that you can completely avoid by just not even gathering. Yeah, I mean
- 1:58:53sounds like playing whack a mole. Everyone's here's what it is, here's what
- 1:58:59it is. Okay, all right, So this guy is trying to tell
- 1:59:02men who have decided that the risk is not worth it. And again it's
- 1:59:10not just these guys are like, oh, we're just risk averse and we're
- 1:59:15just not doing it. It's also it's a calculation is this risk worth the
- 1:59:21reward? Every risk aversion aversive person is going to be making these calculations.
- 1:59:27You think those guys don't get into the car and drive to work. Yes,
- 1:59:31that's a risk, but the reward for them is worth it. I
- 1:59:36bet they fly. That's a risk, but the reward for them is worth
- 1:59:41it. Hell, they probably even have dangerous hobbies. Again, the reward
- 1:59:46is worth it. Okay. So when you call them risk adverse, you're
- 1:59:50only capturing one side to the equation. The other side is is the reward
- 1:59:56worth it? Now, men who are more risk verse are going to have
- 2:00:01a higher criteria for reward in order to take a risk. Do you see
- 2:00:08what I'm saying? Yes, like they must. They might risk it.
- 2:00:13If it's if it's something that they really want, they may risk it,
- 2:00:18Okay, but it's going to be a higher So if the quality of the
- 2:00:24good that they're risking for is going down, they're more likely to walk away,
- 2:00:29just out of a practical assessment of the relationship between risk and reward.
- 2:00:33And incidentally, the other thing is that if you're finding that the people,
- 2:00:36the men who still approach women have high risk tolerance, that may also be
- 2:00:42a distortion of the fact that most of them are fucking psychos. Okay,
- 2:00:45all right, but anyway, so these guys who are avoiding approaching women,
- 2:00:50the reward is not worth the risk for them. It's not just the risk.
- 2:00:56The reward is not worth the risk. And what you're doing here,
- 2:01:00I guarantee, is reinforcing the fact that the reward is not worth the risk.
- 2:01:06Okay. Yeah, this entire conversation about being intellectually compatible as a woman,
- 2:01:15if I was hearing men judging me based on that, I would be
- 2:01:18turned off. Okay, because it doesn't make any fucking goddamns be this way,
- 2:01:25be that way, but don't be that way. I'm like, what
- 2:01:27can we just have an honest relationship? You know what I mean. It
- 2:01:31just sounds like a bunch of hocum right, Like, do you share interests?
- 2:01:39Do you generally share a set of principles? Okay? Good? Can
- 2:01:45you enjoy each other's company? Okay? Good? The end? What the
- 2:01:48hell is this shit? I'm gonna tell you what. I how I respond
- 2:01:54as a woman to this, and I think men have every right to respond
- 2:01:58in the same way. This sound like a bunch of abusive hoops that somebody
- 2:02:03is setting up and taking out their whip and smacking you in the ass and
- 2:02:10saying jump. Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this bullshit? And
- 2:02:16I'm like, I'm just simply looking at this as a woman and how I'm
- 2:02:20reacting to it. If a man presented this shit to me, all right?
- 2:02:25And I believe in equality, Alex, so I believe men can look
- 2:02:30at what you're saying and say, no, no, thank you? Is
- 2:02:34this so this? I have to go through a year of fucking rejection to
- 2:02:40just be part of the lucky thirteen percent who has to jump through these shitting
- 2:02:44hoops? No, that's okay. Do you get what I'm coming from?
- 2:02:47Yeah, yeah, no, I do. Absolutely, He's not really selling
- 2:02:54this. No, he's not really selling the reward here, good lord,
- 2:03:00or and here that that is a lot of my position on all of these
- 2:03:03things. I look at this situation as a woman, I imagine how it
- 2:03:08would feel if I had to do this shit, and I'm like, you
- 2:03:12know, I wouldn't like it. I wouldn't like having to go up to
- 2:03:16men over and over and over again, risking them picking out some quality that
- 2:03:24I have that they find objectionable, mocking me for it, and then going
- 2:03:30to their friends and whispering about me so that they can laugh too. Okay,
- 2:03:34if that was going to happen, you know that that actually might you
- 2:03:40know, as a woman, that might make me never approach a man again.
- 2:03:44And then I imagine, and that's not even just like like the the
- 2:03:47just the going up there like the we also we started this whole discussion and
- 2:03:51Chris was talking about how a woman expressed the the the the fear, the
- 2:03:57feeling of rejection. No, it's not work for women. It's just men
- 2:04:00are more a nerd to it, so that feeling. I wouldn't want to
- 2:04:05have to go go through that daily or weekly for a for a year in
- 2:04:12order to have a one in ten chance of something like a long term relationship.
- 2:04:17Okay. If this was the situation for women, there would be an
- 2:04:23entire feminist sub movement devoted to how approaching men is misogyny, Having to approach
- 2:04:31men is misogyny, and women shouldn't be expected to do it. Okay,
- 2:04:36So all of this this shit doesn't even go into how what would feel if
- 2:04:41I approached a man? You know, I'm running the risk. Okay,
- 2:04:44maybe he rejects me politely. Fine, most men would, right, That's
- 2:04:47fine. I can deal with that. It's not too bad. One one
- 2:04:51in, like I don't know ten is going to do something really shitty like
- 2:04:55mock me with his with his friends and then just start, you know,
- 2:04:59harrat doing like the group sniggering thing. Okay, fine, I guess I'll
- 2:05:03just get a therapist, right, and some Xanax and drink myself to sleep.
- 2:05:08You know. Then we get into one in a hundred. I charge
- 2:05:13me with something you know, might go to the bouncer, and then I
- 2:05:16get thrown out in my ear and all the patrons of the bar are staring
- 2:05:19at me like I'm a leper, or the cocks to hr and I get
- 2:05:25fucking fired and I can't support myself or you know, they go to the
- 2:05:30police, and then suddenly I have a whole bunch of fucking cops in my
- 2:05:34life. I'm like thinking about this, and this is getting a little bit
- 2:05:39more intense. I'm more like, I'm doing all this for a one in
- 2:05:42ten chance. And then I have this dude telling me about how as a
- 2:05:46woman, I'm gonna have to go into a relationship and try to understand all
- 2:05:51of the mental hoops this man wants me to jump through in order to make
- 2:05:56him feel good about himself, which is a moving target because you know,
- 2:06:00he's externalized all that shit, you know, and it's he's made it my
- 2:06:05responsibility to make him feel whatever thing he wants to feel, and it doesn't
- 2:06:11see it's like it's it's never clear what I should be saying, or it's
- 2:06:15there's no concretes, it's no explanation, so it's always just a moving target.
- 2:06:21Wow, So I have jumped through the hoop of simple rejection, the
- 2:06:26hoop of rejection that is also like socially traumatic, the hoop of rejection that
- 2:06:34could have serious social consequences, serious legal consequences, serious consequences to my career,
- 2:06:42I have landed on getting a relationship with a man. Now I have
- 2:06:45to jump through more stupid hoops, ill defined hoops to illustrate some some ability
- 2:06:51that it's so vague, it's just nonsense. I mean, at this point,
- 2:06:58as a woman looking at the I'm like, guys, why, Like
- 2:07:05I, as a woman, I wouldn't do it. I mean, you've
- 2:07:09pretty much lost me at like a year worth of rejection. Friend, I'm
- 2:07:14not doing it, okay much less all of that other shit. And then
- 2:07:18my reward is some dude is gonna be whipping me through fucking whoops of fire.
- 2:07:25Good lord, you are the worst salesman. Like I would not be
- 2:07:35surprised that men are watching this video and immediately they're like, you know,
- 2:07:41I was gonna go out and you know they're listening to this dude talk about
- 2:07:44all this shit. Who's like, you know, I was gonna go out
- 2:07:46and maybe see if I could say hi to a lady. But after listening
- 2:07:50to this dude and what I'm gonna get, eh, fuck it. I
- 2:07:54mean, he's single handedly probably turning more men off of relationships. But do
- 2:08:00continue, do continue to tell us about all of the things that men are
- 2:08:03doing wrong, all of the things that men are failing the women in their
- 2:08:07relationships, all of the ways that men are immature or selfish or not intellectually
- 2:08:13hoop jumping. Enough, Okay, keep keep going with that. I'm sure
- 2:08:20there will be a few more of of the people on your side of the
- 2:08:24of the line of male blame that disappear, and nobody can tell why.
- 2:08:30I don't know, I really stretch that metaphor. No, it's okay.
- 2:08:33I think I think this is a good place to stop it. We've gone
- 2:08:37for like a little over two hours. I'm looking at all of this and
- 2:08:41I don't understand it. Yeah, I know a woman I would have walked
- 2:08:46away long ago. And I think, like these guys, like the way
- 2:08:50that they present this shit, I'm like, this is not this is not
- 2:08:54this is not a situation for a human. This is not fit for man
- 2:09:00nor beast. Okay, And I I believe in equality, so I think
- 2:09:07men should have every right to have the opinion and the emotions that I have
- 2:09:11towards this situation. Okay, but now continue to turn men off relationships,
- 2:09:20Alex, no skin off my nose? Really? Yeah? All right,
- 2:09:26Well, I don't let me look here, I don't have any more super
- 2:09:31chows or super chats or rumble rants. We got yeah you could. I
- 2:09:39mean there's still a little time. But this is good. I think we
- 2:09:43got to gist. Maybe maybe we can go another like, maybe another time
- 2:09:48we can do U trying to correct the ideology of in cells, which is
- 2:09:52fall sections or yeah, it's it's basically there's a little bit left there,
- 2:09:58like think two minutes left, two minutes to this section, Yeah, to
- 2:10:05this section. Let's try it just a little bit more. All right,
- 2:10:09let me go back to it. You know, someone could be really smart,
- 2:10:13but you still might not find intellectual compatibility there. So it's not necessarily
- 2:10:18men are stupid. I think everyone's dumb, but it could be kind of
- 2:10:22like you said, you know, I have a hard time relating to these
- 2:10:24men. They seem very immature in that sense. Yeah, I think just
- 2:10:26paying attention to people seems to be incredibly rare. You know, it's kind
- 2:10:31of I guess guys talk about this a lot that it sometimes seems to men
- 2:10:37that when they're in a relationship, women respond to them differently than when they're
- 2:10:41not. You know, they're just sat around a dinner table or a bar
- 2:10:45or whatever, just having a chat. And I wonder whether that kind of
- 2:10:50gets rid of a few things, the fact that you're if you're in a
- 2:10:52committed relationship, you're not trying to pull so okay, I think it's worth
- 2:11:00bringing out. It is a little bit, but I think there's an important
- 2:11:03point here. So what I think what Chris Williamson is trying to say is
- 2:11:07that, and I think the other guy's probably gonna agree with him. Women
- 2:11:13are more attracted to men who are already accounted for, who are already married
- 2:11:18or already in relationships, And I think that what they're speculating is, oh,
- 2:11:24well, if a man is in a relationship, he's going to carry
- 2:11:28himself a little differently. He's going to have a different way that he presents
- 2:11:33himself, a different way he carries himself, he's gonna have more confidence,
- 2:11:35et cetera. And I think to some degree that is true when I'm with
- 2:11:41like, you know, when I'm when I'm with Lindsey, I get a
- 2:11:46lot more looks and stuff. But I think that's part of it. But
- 2:11:50I also think that women want what other women have, and I think I
- 2:11:56think this goes back to the whole thing about where I talking about how the
- 2:12:01numbers that they ask for six sixty six. You know, it's not it's
- 2:12:07not that they're like looking at the height of a guy and like they know
- 2:12:09how tall he is or how much is in his bank account. They just
- 2:12:13see that he is a guy that they usually look at it from like the
- 2:12:18relationship. Oh, my friend has a guy that has all these things,
- 2:12:20so I gotta have a guy that has these things. So it's a it's
- 2:12:24almost still it's it's still intersexual competition. And a man who's with someone is
- 2:12:31already qualified because he's with someone, So now the women want to be with
- 2:12:35that guy. So it's it's partly probably because of the way that he carries
- 2:12:39himself and the way that he acts, but I think another big part of
- 2:12:41it is the fact that she's the woman is like, well, he's with
- 2:12:45someone, so he must be worth having and that and that's that's what though
- 2:12:48a man who's alone is actually disadvantage even more because women are like, well,
- 2:12:54why are you with somebody? What's wrong with you? Right? So
- 2:12:58this is like a bigger this is a bigger challenge for guys, and that
- 2:13:01guy could be like all put together have, you know, be in really
- 2:13:05great shape, have like good money, be really intelligent. But if he's
- 2:13:07alone, then women are gonna be like, well, why is he alone?
- 2:13:11What's wrong? So anyway, that's what I think. Yeah, I
- 2:13:18think it's a bit of a digression. But like I said this, I
- 2:13:20think that's a female perspective. This sounds like a horrible deal. Like you're
- 2:13:28pot constantly jumping through hoops. You jump through hoops with the rejection, you
- 2:13:31jump through hoops with the legal consequences, you jump through hoops in the relationship,
- 2:13:37and all your reward is is more hoops to jump through. God damn.
- 2:13:43Like I what baffles me is not that men are walking away. What
- 2:13:46baffles me as the men who still play. Yeah, congratulation, guys really
- 2:13:54taking one for the team there, all right, I want to play the
- 2:13:58rest for me. I think that's going to be okay, let's see what
- 2:14:05Alex has to say. So it actually does a couple of things. It
- 2:14:07lowers the stakes because you're not there's no such thing as rejection here. She's
- 2:14:11not on the docket as far as you're concerned. And I also wonder whether
- 2:14:16some of the sort of chest beating peacocktail fluffing that kind of goes on when
- 2:14:22guys feel like they need to do a thing to impress a girl and maybe
- 2:14:26even counter signals that they don't like. Whereas the dude that sits back and
- 2:14:30asks what she's interested in or just kind of lets this person waffle on at
- 2:14:35them actually comes across as being more intellectually engaging because they're just letting it come
- 2:14:41and go nice and easily. Yeah, exactly. Some fluency in conversation there
- 2:14:46is probably really related to it as well, because something we know about sex
- 2:14:48differences in intelligence is that men tend to score a little bit higher in visiospatial
- 2:14:54but women tend to score a little bit higher in verbal intelligence. So women
- 2:14:58may be a little bit better at communicating, having those conversations, holding them
- 2:15:01and engaging. And so if if men are not, in general, you
- 2:15:05know, if they're a little bit worse, women might struggle to find that,
- 2:15:09Like, is this someone that can kind of just ramble on in a
- 2:15:11sense, they can they hold an interesting conversation. No, nothing in his
- 2:15:16cosmology about the worth of women, the reward that men get for facing these
- 2:15:22risks, none of it. It's a complete, complete void. Because and
- 2:15:31I honestly don't know why, because if he's a dating coach, she has
- 2:15:35no ability to change that. All he can do is make money off of
- 2:15:39men's thirst. And if men's thirst dries up, where is he? Hello?
- 2:15:46Guys? Yeah? Yes, okay, I mean all right. One
- 2:15:50thing that men could learn that I don't know if this guy's offers is how
- 2:15:56to discern, you know, discernment around women to figure out there what they
- 2:16:03should have, what are their virtues? M h okay, that's good.
- 2:16:07I don't think we have to add anything. Yeah that I'm just saying,
- 2:16:11like it's it's not really selling if I were, if I were men,
- 2:16:15this wouldn't be selling relationships to me. Not only do you have to to
- 2:16:18jump through a year through a little full of hoops of rejection in order to
- 2:16:22even have a chance at a something like a long term relationship. I don't
- 2:16:26know if I really define two long term relationships in a year as being long
- 2:16:33term relationships, But you know, have a chance at the long term relationship,
- 2:16:37but then what you get is more more hoops to jump through. Yep,
- 2:16:43Okay, I got a superchow. I just got one from playing Dane
- 2:16:52and he gives us five dollars through super Chow and says it's kind of like
- 2:17:01the quote I won't hire you because you have no experience meme. Yeah,
- 2:17:07that is that's true. That's true. Like a man who is in a
- 2:17:11relationship is like he's essentially like social proof. So you know, that's what
- 2:17:16and that's going to be attractive to win because they're they're they're they're really risk
- 2:17:20averse, right, so they're gonna want to be, you know, involved
- 2:17:24with something that's a sure thing or close to a sure thing. All right.
- 2:17:31So that's all of the super chat. Let me just double check here
- 2:17:35know nothing else. So Alison wants you, I guess take us out.
- 2:17:41Thanks guys for the show. I hope you like, yeah, we did
- 2:17:45today, and uh well, I mean technically you're gonna take us out,
- 2:17:48I am, but you can do like the last things and yeah, I'll
- 2:17:52take care all right. So if if you at any point after the show
- 2:17:56is over you want to send us a message, you can to so it
- 2:18:00feed Thebadger dot com slash just the tip. We will endeavor to read the
- 2:18:03message at the next relevant show. And it's great to get a tip from
- 2:18:09you guys because you know, we know we're not screaming into the void.
- 2:18:13Sometimes it does really really feel like we're screaming into the void. And I
- 2:18:16do hope some of you recognize how they had that strange shift from why aren't
- 2:18:24men approaching? To how are men disappointing women in relationships? Did you notice
- 2:18:28that that's a really Yeah? Absolutely, And I think that he's doing a
- 2:18:37really good job. Like if I just look at this, you know it's
- 2:18:39a woman's perspective. He's doing a really good job not selling me on relationships.
- 2:18:43If I had to take the male role in this entire passion play,
- 2:18:48I'll be like, yeah, that sounds like a bum deal. Forget it.
- 2:18:52But anyway, if you would like to send a message about any of
- 2:18:56this kind of stuff, get your two cents in. Please go to feed
- 2:19:01the Badger dot com slash just the tip. We really do appreciate it,
- 2:19:05guys, because it does tell us that you appreciate us, and that's a
- 2:19:09wonderful feeling that you're enjoying this content. So once again, feed Thebadger dot
- 2:19:13com slash just the tip. Okay, Brian, go ahead, Yeah,
- 2:19:16I got one other thing I wanted to say, so, doctor Randa Mcam
- 2:19:20is in the States visiting with Lauren in Connecticut, and they want to come
- 2:19:26down to Roanoke around International Men'sday, which is Friday the seventeenth of this month.
- 2:19:35And what they specifically, Mike and I were talking about is doing a
- 2:19:39meetup. So I know that Rono, Virginia isn't exactly you know, the
- 2:19:46most pop and joint, but there are there are some places that we can
- 2:19:50go to and it's it's you know, like on the East Ish coast.
- 2:19:56So if you're interested in coming to our meet up, we're gonna do a
- 2:20:01meet up on Saturday the eighteenth. So because Friday the seventeenth isn't great for
- 2:20:05everybody, I think they'll be coming in you know, probably like right around
- 2:20:11that day. So what we're thinking is we are gonna do something on Saturday
- 2:20:16the eighteen, do a meetup. I have some bars picked out that we
- 2:20:18could go to and like just kind of like hang out with each other.
- 2:20:22So if you're interested in joining us for a meetup, that's the plan.
- 2:20:26Don't have a location just yet. We're just gonna like focus on letting you
- 2:20:30know we have that planned and it's gonna be in Roanoke and that's the southwestern
- 2:20:35part of Virginia. So if you're interested, maybe you know, let us
- 2:20:39know, let us know in the comments, would you like to go.
- 2:20:41We're gonna set up the things very soon and probably mention it again tomorrow on
- 2:20:46the news show. So anyway, that's it. For International Men'sday. It'll
- 2:20:50be Lauren, me, Mike and my wife Lindsay and maybe Jojo depending on
- 2:20:56like what you know, where we can take him. That's it. I
- 2:21:01just want to let you know that. So anyway, with all that out
- 2:21:03of the way, if you guys like this video, please smash like,
- 2:21:05subscribe if you're not already subscribe, hit the BELF notifications, leave us a
- 2:21:09comment, let us know what you guys think about what we discussed on the
- 2:21:11show today. If you want to watch a full interview, there's a link
- 2:21:15in the description. We might do more of this later I don't know,
- 2:21:18but for now, please please please share this video because sharing is caring.
- 2:21:22Thank you guys so much for coming out today's episode of Maintaining Frame, and
- 2:21:26we'll talk to you all in the next video.
