- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to the Beyond Limits podcast.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Another exciting episode for you today.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: We are getting cozy.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: I'm just in my robe.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: We're having chit chats because I asked you for questions in the broadcast channel.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: And this is another one.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: I am loving these questions.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Like the quality of these questions are just so good.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: And this is another one that is going to give you a lot of ahas.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: So the question is, and I'll read up.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: What are some micro things you've noticed that people say or do that society has completely normalized, but it's actually stifling our ability for expansion?
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: What a question.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Love this question.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: And I wrote down a bunch of things.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: So we're going to go down the list.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: And I think I have maybe 10 or 12, but we'll go through them quick.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Before I dive into them, I want to say the overarching because the question was around, you know, the micro things that people say or do.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: But the overarching theme that you'll see from a lot of the micro things that they say or do is people are moving from fear.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: And when you move from fear, you stifle expansion.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: People do things in their business from fear, they make content from fear, they price from fear, they do things for their health from fear.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: That is huge.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: There is like an epidemic of people moving from fear, and that is always, like I said, going to stifle expansion.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: I want you to think about when you're doing things.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Am I doing this from fear?
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: If I'm doing this from fear of time is running out, right?
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Or, you know, as a woman, I'm getting older, so I'm doing this from fear.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Is it I'm doing this from fear because I'm thinking if I don't, it'll not work?
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Am I doing this from fear, like urgency because I need to keep up because the shoe is gonna drop?
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Am I doing this from fear, you know, for a sense of belonging?
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: And you'll see through the micro examples I'm gonna give, the overarching thing is fear.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: The overarching thing with most people move from is from fear.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: And fear only creates more fear.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: So when you move from fear, even if you're doing great things, all it does is create more fear because the frequency behind it and your energetic motivating principle was fear.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: I want you to really think about it.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: If you just asked yourself before you did things, am I doing this from fear?
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: You would get astronomically different results.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: But with that being said, let's dive in.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: So the first thing the first was it the micro shift, micro habit, but micro things people say do.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: The first thing people say do is that they are reacting to everything.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: And this kind of builds onto the fear I was talking about.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: When you live your life in reaction mode, it's like you're playing whack-a-mole, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: You're just living, reacting like whack this fire, put out this fire, this, this, you know, reacting to what the market's doing, the business is doing, your kids are doing, what the dog is doing, what Sally is saying online.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: It's just this constant reaction mode.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: It stifles expansion because you are existing in problem frequency, not expansion frequency.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: When you're existing in problem frequency, you you can't expand.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: And so that is huge.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: I want you to think about where you're living in reaction to things.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: And this is why nervous system work is so important, because you cannot exist in a survival state, in an expansion state.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: You're either surviving or you're thriving.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: You're either surviving or you're expanding.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: And when you're living in that whack-a mole, right?
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: In that reactive, it's that survival mode response.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: And so you can't expand when everything you're doing is motivated by whack-a-mole reactation like type energy.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Second micro thing I've noticed people do is that they keep things alive that should die.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: They keep conversations alive, they keep identities alive, business models alive, um, even like topics that they talk about in terms of not letting their company or brand or evolve, they keep things alive that they shouldn't.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: And so when you do that, even in a like, yes, the very micro way, because it could be just, you know, one, a dynamic with a friend, it could be a dynamic with your mom or dad, it could be um a certain launch model that you have in your business, it could be uh a way you're speaking about something or relating to something.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: It could be even like the house that you're living in, it could be anything.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: So there are like lots of little micro ways where if you are keeping things going that should come to a close, it's gonna prevent you from expanding because it's it's keeping you in that old structure.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: It's keeping you in the old identity.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: And when you are surrounded by old identity, the the new can't expand because you're gonna be limited by those old structures that you are confining yourself in.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: The third micro thing I see is doing things for the sake of feeling productive.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: And we talked about this in a different way in the standards episode.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: If you haven't watched that, we will definitely link it.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: It'll probably be the one right before this one.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: But it's like people are listening to podcasts, reading books, taking courses.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: If you are always in like the learning phase and you're not implementing, it's actually keeping you from expanding.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: And there's this quote, and I don't know exactly what it is, but it I'll give you the gist of it.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: It's like reading a book on how to swim is not the same as like getting in the pool and learning how to swim.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: But what I notice a lot is that people get addicted to simply listening to a podcast, listening to a book, consuming the information, but not implementing it.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Because what happens is when you're consuming it, right and feels productive.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: It's like I listened to this podcast, it was a vibe, maybe listening to this.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: But if you don't go and actually implement it, well, then you're not going to expand.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: And so what I notice, and you know, as I was prepping this episode, I was also just trying to think of not just what stifles people, but in the clients that I see, you know, blow up and have a really amazing success versus people that stay stagnant.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: It's those that are implementing right away and those that simply consume so that they get a dopamine hit of like, oh, I I consumed information but didn't implement.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: And it's gonna be a huge difference in your ability to expand.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: The fourth micro thing is needing to essentially warm up before you go for it, or needing permission or this like waiting frequency before you kind of like go and do the thing and start.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: And my philosophy has always been just start.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: Do you want to start a business?
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: Just start.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: You want to start a podcast, just start.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: Want to start writing a book?
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: Just start.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: Wanna do this?
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: Just go, just start doing it.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: But people create all these like loops or things like I need to do this first in order to get like start that.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: I need this can go so like simple.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: I was saying this to a client last week.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: I need to write the sales page before I start selling it.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: I'm like, no, you don't.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: I need to finish writing the whole course and recording it before I sell it.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: No, you don't.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: I need, oh, this was another thing.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: I need to shoot professional content like you do with the lights and like you record the podcast.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: I'm like, no, you don't.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: I was like dancing on my iPhone.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: I was recording.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: My fiance always lasts at this.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: I was recording, was it 2,000 ISO, something like that.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: Like the most horrible 20,000.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: 20,000?
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: 20,000 ISO on my camera.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: Like I was not a professional camera person, and yet I was paid a lot of money to record content on YouTube.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: So there's so many people that think they need to be perfect or they're waiting for, I need to be able to, you know, shoot professionally, or I need to consume more information first, or I need the sales page first, or I need this.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: I'm like, no, you actually need to go and start.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: And what that comes down to is it's a freeze response, right?
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: It's that you know, we have fight, flight, freeze, fun in our nervous system.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: It's that freeze response where you are creating conditions where you're like, I need this first before I do it.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: No, you don't.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: You actually just need to like go and start and do the thing and you'll learn on the way.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: And I think like my willingness to do that, to always like have the messy middle to record to say the recording and like not be confident at first and not be able to speak on camera and not like have the perfect whatever has allowed me to be successful because otherwise you spend so much time like waiting that you don't actually end up implementing versus implementing and just learning on the way.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: That that is huge.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: So that's a huge micro thing is that people are waiting and they're delaying instead of just going and launching and doing the thing, and that's it.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: The fifth thing in terms of micro habits that people say or do is that they let micro misalignments slide.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Now, this is huge because I I say micro.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: So all of these micro ways that you're letting misalignments slide end up compounding.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: So they're all they're little things that are like just slightly off.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: Things that are fine, right?
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's fine.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: So it's okay.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: It's not broke.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's like the what's the quote?
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: If it ain't broke, why fix it?
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, don't fix it.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: What?
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: Same thing with what I said.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: Horrible.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Keeps you in complacency, keeps you in mediocrity.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: It keeps things, it stifles expansion.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: Like the question I was submitted, like that stifles expansion.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: If it's not broke, don't fix it.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: It's like, well, how does it expand?
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Why are we tolerating fine?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: Why are we tolerating okay?
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Like we want things to expand.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: You don't want to wait until something's broken to fix it.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: You want to be expanding it first.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, especially in business, we don't want to wait until something's broken to fix it.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: We want to always be expanding.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: But this could be conversations, it could be structures in your business, it could be misalignments in your friendships, in your relationships, and your routine.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: Like, don't let misalignments slide because those are the things that are going to stop you from expanding.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And do you want to have to wait until like shit hits the fan or things are blowing up in order?
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: No, ideally, we want to be ahead of these things.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I've noticed that people let micro misalignments slide.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And the thing is, is that when you let them slide, they just grow into bigger things.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Like what you avoid doing now just becomes a bigger problem later.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: And it becomes harder to do.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: It causes quote unquote more damage, right?
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: Because even if it wasn't quote unquote broke, it's gonna, you know, broke in.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: It's gonna start, you know, costing you, but then you don't realize until it's costed you so much.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: And you're like, oh, I wish I would have adjusted it there.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: And that could be an old offer, old ideas, old connections, like so many things, so many moves that you know you need to make that are misaligned.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, it could be even like simply the food that you're eating, your morning routine is misaligned, like the all of these things, they end up stacking, compounding, and then costing you more in the long run.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: Then if you were to just address the misalignment when it was quote unquote smaller, then it wouldn't have grown into like this big problem or this big issue that you then need to resolve.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: The next micro thing that I've noticed is, and this is kind of similar to the waiting, but different.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: And I want to bring this in because it's a different line or different thing that comes up in people's mind, which is talking about it instead of doing it.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: How many times, maybe you or someone you know has like talked about something?
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: They've talked about moving, they've talked about starting a podcast, they've talked about their business, they've talked about doing this, they talked about doing that instead of actually just going and doing it.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: And maybe you've been that like, oh, one day I will, I don't know, start my own skincare line.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: One day I will do this thing, one day I will do that.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: I'm launching soon, I'm working on the because when you do that, it gives you this dopamine hit of thinking that you're gonna do it, but you don't actually take any action and implement it.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: That is a huge thing that I've noticed that people do is this whole waiting energy or talking about it instead of doing it.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: And what that does, right, is your ability to talk about it makes you feel important and gives you that illusion of the momentum to feel busy without actually executing it.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: So I want you to think about where have you been just like talking about things or talking that you're gonna do it instead of just going and doing it and starting it and implementing it.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: And what I'll add in here is this is also where people will equate busyness with progress.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: And you this stifles expansion because if your calendar is too full, right, there's no capacity, there's no extra energy, it's back to back, it's fully booked.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: I remember I've seen things where people will post like their Google calendars on like Instagram or like stories or something, and it's back to back.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: And I don't mean back to back like they'd carved out, you know, two hours of silence or like alone time back to back.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: I mean like back to back where it's them outputting.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, where's the room for expansion?
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: How can you expand if it's just back to back to back?
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: And I remember there was a time in my business where I was on actual calls eight hours of the day.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: And that stifled the expansion because I was working in my business, not on the business.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: And so even other to-do lists or just keeping busy for the sake of it of well, are these things actually adding to your expansion or are they just filling it so that you actually don't have to, because if we say, well, we're just busy in the business, then we don't actually have to work on the business.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: And that can be a form of self-sabotage that keeps you quote unquote safe and keeps you comfortable, but doesn't actually allow you to expand.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: The seventh micro thing that I want to dive into is an over-curation/slash perfectionism of things in order, in order to basically start.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, love my environment.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: I love, you know, curating, you know, my coffee in the morning, my setup, all of these things.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: But I have noticed where people wait for the perfect setup, the right aesthetic, the ideal conditions, or things to be perfect before doing things.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Your ability to not do that will allow you to expand so much faster than trying to, well, A, there's no perfect conditions.
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: By the time you think it's perfect, you're it's probably time for an evolution.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: But it's also a form of self-sabotage and distraction because when you need to wait for things to be quote unquote perfect, well, then you never actually have to do the thing because you always have to say, Well, I'm tweaking this, or uh, the website needs this, or I need to do this first, or I need that.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: It's all self-sabotage, right?
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: It's a way of your nervous system trying to keep you where you're at instead of allowing you to expand.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: So I want you to think about, you know, is am I curating this because I, you know, want this to be good, or is it going to the fact of overcuration, you know, perfectionism of there's always going to be something wrong, something more to tweak, something more to refine.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: And that's actually keeping you stuck than if you were to just go and do the thing and then adjust along the way.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: The next micro habit or micro thing that I've noticed that is stifling expansion is consuming before slash consuming instead of creating.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: A lot of people consume both for before they create, andor they're consuming more than they are creating, right?
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: They are filling time with scrolling.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: You know, they're opening up Instagram or podcasts or everything else before they are creating.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: And that immediately doesn't allow you to expand.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Every morning I'm creating before I'm consuming other people's content or other people's, you know, Instagram and everything like that, in order to keep the signal clear and also to allow myself to expand.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: But if you're always filling the silence with noise, and there was a time where I always had to fill the silence with noise, I was always listening to something for the sake of being productive and the sake of doing this because silence felt uncomfortable and because slowing down felt uncomfortable.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: I didn't wasn't able to actually receive like the downloads and the ahas that catapulted me.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: And every time I do that, like all the amazing ideas, the downloads of things have always come from moments of stillness, have always come from that, you know, the gaps in terms of when I'm not been consuming.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: There's a direct correlation when I'm consuming more, I'm consuming too much with my own creativity, my own expansion.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: So I've noticed that so many people, you know, not only consume too much, but they consume other people before they think they can create.
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: And then they lose their authenticity, they lose their spark, they lose all of that.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: The ninth micro habit that I've noticed is people let their mood dictate what they do.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: And when you have when you have the habit of letting your mood dictate what you do, it's hard to expand because your mood is going to change, right?
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: There's some days you might be more tired.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: There are some days you might, you know, have more energy, or if you feel quote unquote more high vibe.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: As women, we have 28-day cycles.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: We feel different in our alluvial phase, and then we're ovulating, then we're, you know, on our cycle.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: If what you do is contingent on your mood, it's going to be very hard to expand because there's no consistency, right?
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: There's no compound effect.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: In order to expand, we need the compound effect.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: We need consistency.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: We need to put in the reps.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: We need that devotion.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: But if devotion goes away because, you know, you're tired today or it's raining.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, and you might laugh when I say it's raining, but I can't tell you how many times you've said, I can't because it's raining.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, you won't be able to expand mentally, physically.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: Like I still walk, I get my steps when it's raining.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: I still, you know, train when I'm tired, I do these things.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: It might look slightly different.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not going to be the heaviest weightlifting day, but it's still a standard I have.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: And so if you find that your mood then dictates what you're doing, you're going to experience more volatility, more up and down instead of, you know, compounding.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: And obviously there's like up and down on the way out, but in order to compound, right, in order to expand, you can't have your mood dictate what you're doing.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: The next micro habit or micro thing that I noticed people do is that they make things far more complex than they actually are.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: And I think as humans, right, this comes from, well, if it was that simple, Liv, don't you think I would do it.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: But honestly, a lot of the time, it's like the most simplest things that when you put in the reps for are easy.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: It's like simple things physically.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: Eat enough protein, don't eat processed foods and refined sugars, walk 10 to 15,000 steps per day.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Make sure you have like meditation connection to source, like some sort of you know, prayer or whatever it is for you.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Simple.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: It's your business.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Have an offer, how your offer can help people, market it, simple.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: But they add in all these complexities, like I need this first, or I need that, or I need these steps, or I need these hoops.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: It's actually simple.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: I want you to think about where you're you're creating loops or complexities or or things that are it's actually more simple than you're allowing yourself to let it be.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: That it actually doesn't need to be that complex.
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: It's like you have a product offer, a service, this is why it's valuable, and you sell that thing to the people who want it.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Or, you know, physically, mentally, emotionally, all of these things, when you allow it to be more simple, you will also expand because you're not adding on things that aren't required that are then draining your energy.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: When you add on complexity and you add on these things that aren't required, then you need a lot more output.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: And then your energy is going to be drained because you're going to potentially get burned out or you're going to be at capacity from things that actually weren't required.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: And I'm a big fan of the quote, you know, you get 80% of the results from 20% of the work, which means that extra 80% that you're doing is only eliciting a little bit more of the results.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: And while I'm all a power of like the power of one more, and you know, always going a little bit more and going to your edge, in this case, I don't mean in a way that's expanding you.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: I mean complexities that you're adding or hoops that you're adding that aren't actually required.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: The next micro thing that I notice is people waiting to feel fully confident, people waiting to feel fully either in their power, waiting to feel fully like the opposite of imposter symptom, like waiting to feel like, oh, I can now be the one to go and do the thing.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: And the thing is that by the time you feel quote unquote ready to go and do that thing, you'll be on to the next.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: If you are waiting to feel confident in order about being visible about doing this in your business or doing that or speaking or whatever it is, by the time you feel confident, like the confidence comes from mastery.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: The confidence comes because you've put in the reps.
- 21:30unknown: Right.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: It's if you to feel confident to like lift 50 pounds, let's say, it's because you've gone to the gym enough times where you've built enough muscle, you've built enough structure in order to do that.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: But I've noticed people waiting, like, oh, I'll do this when I feel more confident.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: But it's like, no, the confidence, the power is built through the action of doing.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: And if you can be that person who's always willing to expand, willing to, you know, practice things, learn, be a beginner, that is going to allow you to expand.
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: I'm always willing to be a beginner.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: I'm always willing to learn.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: I'm always willing to, you know, be new at something.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: I remember when I first started in training, I couldn't with proper form do like a proper push-up from like my toes.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: You know, I remember feeling a little awkward going to like the big weight machines and feeling like my form was probably not great.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: I don't know fully how to use this machine, like I definitely looked awkward, but I was willing to.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And like then you know how to use them and you feel confident.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: So this can apply to absolutely everything.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: But when you are that person, that woman who can walk in and do these things, and you're not waiting to feel confident, you're not waiting for someone to then, you know, say, oh, now you can do the thing, and you're willing to do that, you will then expand in all the areas of your life.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: The next micro thing I've noticed is waiting for things to be just right before moving, right?
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: Waiting for perfect conditions, waiting for more information, waiting to understand things more.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: When you like need things to make sense before acting, you're gonna be behind or you're gonna feel behind.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: You're gonna feel like, well, by the time it makes sense, you probably should have done it already.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: So if you want to expand faster, it's your ability to not need things to make sense before you act.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: It's your ability to be that leading energy, to be that leading frequency and not need the confirmation, knowing that you create the confirmation, right?
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: You are the convicted person, you are the one creating the results.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: And the last micro thing I want to talk about is the micro habit of saying just this once.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: And what I mean by that is small micro self-abandonments, right?
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: Where you abandon yourself and like, oh, just this once, I'll abandon.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: I'll make this exception just this one time.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's for a client, I'll make this exception for Bob now, I'll make exception for this, I'll make this exception, I'll make this exception.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: All those little micro self-abandonments end up compounding into your identity and prevent you from expanding because you're abandoning yourself.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: And when we abandon ourselves, we don't have safety in the nervous system.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: So all those little ways that you're doing that doesn't allow you to expand because where we're abandoning ourselves, we can't expand into.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: So think about where you're adding in kind of like the just this once and these small little self-abandonments that then in all the ways you're doing it actually end up stacking because you're doing it so many times.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: So I hope you guys enjoyed this episode and I hope it illuminated for you all the different like little micro ways that you might be stifling your expansion.
