- 2:27Speaker 1: I like your socks. Bamba's very nice socks.
- 2:31Speaker 3: These are good ones will be mad.
- 2:34Speaker 1: My socks are pretty nice. I like my socks. They're
- 2:36Speaker 1: from lapstone and hammer sash. What let's see. What's your
- 2:40Speaker 1: sock situation?
- 2:41Speaker 3: What are you wearing for socks?
- 2:42Speaker 8: Simultaneous smart wool and I got Evans.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You knew you were recording.
- 2:51Speaker 3: What's the matter with you?
- 2:52Speaker 8: Well, it's nice to record here because I don't have
- 2:54Speaker 8: to dress up. Yeah, they slum down.
- 2:57Speaker 3: This is a casual friday for you.
- 3:01Speaker 8: If I'm fucking setting all this ship up, I'm not
- 3:03Speaker 8: going to be wearing khakis sweating in my ass cheeks.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You never wear khakis. I always wear CASKI this is
- 3:10Speaker 1: your already how you already dressed.
- 3:12Speaker 8: I never leave the house in sweatpants. I had to
- 3:14Speaker 8: go buy jewel pods yesterday. I put on khakis just
- 3:16Speaker 8: to do that.
- 3:17Speaker 3: You look at risk. You look at risk. I am
- 3:21Speaker 3: not at risk.
- 3:22Speaker 8: You're talking to a man who's five days sober, and
- 3:24Speaker 8: last time I had heard you were fucking drinking yesterday?
- 3:26Speaker 3: Sure was.
- 3:27Speaker 8: You came in looking all disheveled.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Well, I got him disheveled. You want to know why
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm to shovel.
- 3:31Speaker 8: Because you got fucked up yesterday?
- 3:33Speaker 3: No, because I got pulled over for speeding today. Oh really,
- 3:37Speaker 3: we did?
- 3:37Speaker 1: Wear?
- 3:37Speaker 3: Sure? Did I even brought the ticket? What the hell
- 3:40Speaker 3: we can talk about together?
- 3:42Speaker 8: I didn't know Tesla drivers got pulled over. I thought
- 3:44Speaker 8: that was like the Great Gatsby situation, where you just
- 3:46Speaker 8: flashed the white card.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you just I mean you could blame the robot,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you could blame the car.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah, the car took off. I have a I have
- 3:55Speaker 3: a pretty resounding claim here. I have a hot claim
- 3:59Speaker 3: to make to you.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, talk to me.
- 4:01Speaker 3: It's a little tough over the thud. I don't know
- 4:03Speaker 3: what's raining down.
- 4:05Speaker 8: It sounds like someone's moving out of their apartment.
- 4:08Speaker 1: It sounds like someone's moving a bowling set.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Well, I think, and I'm gonna be honest here, I
- 4:15Speaker 3: think I was racially profiled.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Where were you?
- 4:19Speaker 3: I was driving back to New York City from the
- 4:23Speaker 3: Hudson Valley, of course, and driving on the highway through
- 4:27Speaker 3: white plains, and I got pulled over a black police officer.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and I think I was racially profiled big
- 4:39Speaker 3: time because we were in Tesla Model three. Of course
- 4:44Speaker 3: I was wearing my rolex copy of that we had.
- 4:48Speaker 1: The sun was probably glinting off of the face of
- 4:50Speaker 1: your Batman rolex.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yep. We had two dogs in the back, both pure bread,
- 4:57Speaker 3: one a French bulldog. Those are expens yea.
- 5:00Speaker 1: What's the MSRP on both those? Twenty thousand bock?
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean, I don't know about the resale value,
- 5:05Speaker 3: but geez Louise and then the uh. And then our
- 5:07Speaker 3: other is a bird hunting dog. Uh. And she's an
- 5:10Speaker 3: English setter, of course, coming from a long line of
- 5:15Speaker 3: show show winning dogs.
- 5:16Speaker 8: By the way, do you do you put them in shows?
- 5:18Speaker 3: We don't yet, but we've been the breeder wants us to. Don't.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I don't want it. You're not so dumb?
- 5:25Speaker 1: What's dumb about it?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Everything? What? Just have a dog? Why do you got
- 5:30Speaker 3: to put it in a show?
- 5:31Speaker 1: To watch my dog? Purpose?
- 5:33Speaker 8: Also, to be honest, never seen one of those dogs
- 5:35Speaker 8: that actually looks like a good dog, really, one of
- 5:38Speaker 8: the dogs that's like perfectly trimmed.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Have you met her though? No? Have you met Rube? No?
- 5:43Speaker 1: She's great.
- 5:44Speaker 8: No, I'm sure Ruby is a good dog because it's
- 5:46Speaker 8: not a show dog.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You're saying she would automatically be bad if she went
- 5:49Speaker 1: into show dogging.
- 5:50Speaker 8: Yeah, you'd have to get her one of those weird haircuts.
- 5:52Speaker 3: You do have to get them a weird hair yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 3: it's dumb. We don't want to do that. We want
- 5:56Speaker 3: to teach her to bird hunt.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So you're but so you're you're driving up, they're driving
- 6:01Speaker 1: down rather.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I get pulled over. I'm going it's on
- 6:04Speaker 3: a it's like a three or four lane highway that
- 6:06Speaker 3: was pretty empty. There wasn't you know. I'm passing big trucks. Yeah,
- 6:11Speaker 3: you know, eighteen wheelers. So I stepped on it for
- 6:14Speaker 3: a period there to get past this guy on the
- 6:17Speaker 3: left because it was gonna bend coming up soon. And
- 6:20Speaker 3: I get a little nervous passing big trucks sometimes.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Because if they waggle a little bit.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And right when I came out on the other side,
- 6:27Speaker 3: I passed a state trooper who gunned me. And I
- 6:30Speaker 3: was going seventy eight in a fifty five.
- 6:32Speaker 8: Ooh, that's like going You have to go to court
- 6:36Speaker 8: for that twenty three over.
- 6:37Speaker 1: That's not that fast though. Seventy eight miles an hour
- 6:40Speaker 1: is not seventy.
- 6:41Speaker 8: In the fifty five. It's not great. I mean, I
- 6:42Speaker 8: guess I was, I mean fifty five. I did not
- 6:45Speaker 8: know it was fifty five. A lot of highways in
- 6:47Speaker 8: New York are fifty five.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Apparently. I'll tell you one thing I would I there
- 6:52Speaker 3: were lots of parts of this trip where I was
- 6:54Speaker 3: going well faster than ye oh yeah, yeah, ninety.
- 6:57Speaker 8: It's almost like I wasn't going ninety. I don't drive nine,
- 7:00Speaker 8: but all over seventy eight is ninety.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I would say eighty five. I was going eighty five.
- 7:04Speaker 3: You don't get to tell me what well over seventy
- 7:07Speaker 3: eight's that could be different for both of us. What
- 7:10Speaker 3: is it? Seventy nine? No, eighty five.
- 7:12Speaker 8: You don't really live life in the fast plant like
- 7:14Speaker 8: I do.
- 7:14Speaker 3: I just got pulled overboard. I got the paperwork saying
- 7:17Speaker 3: that I do mispatching socks. Oh, at least we're home
- 7:21Speaker 3: so I don't have to dress up today.
- 7:23Speaker 8: Well, you guys are just yells because you're not in
- 7:24Speaker 8: your home. Yeah, you don't have the fucking maximum spectrum package.
- 7:28Speaker 8: If you got the maximum spectrum package, we could go
- 7:30Speaker 8: to your place.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Record there.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I think in our building. There's a governor on the spectrum.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I think that there's like a restrictor plate on how
- 7:38Speaker 1: fast our internet can go.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Really, I agree with that, and I also think if
- 7:41Speaker 3: there's anyone who's a maximum on the spectrum, it's definitely sass.
- 7:46Speaker 8: Fucking mismatch socks over here across the wrong button. That
- 7:51Speaker 8: was sad trumbone. I meant to press the laugh one.
- 7:54Speaker 8: Oh okay, that's my bad. Sorry, I'm getting a little
- 7:56Speaker 8: too invested in the soundboard.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Let me finish painting you this profiled. Pick sure here,
- 8:01Speaker 3: so we the guy comes up.
- 8:04Speaker 8: Oh should we do pine wine? I want to hear
- 8:06Speaker 8: this is our weekend recap?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah, well, once he's done, well, it'll be presented by Pyewine.
- 8:10Speaker 3: This racial profiling is brought to you by Piewine. So
- 8:14Speaker 3: I looked in the rear. We're thing. And by the way,
- 8:17Speaker 3: I haven't been pulled over since high school.
- 8:19Speaker 1: The ship makes your stomach feel terrible. It's not great,
- 8:22Speaker 1: it's terrifying, like your heart will change its rhythm for that.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I almost thought I was blessed that there was a
- 8:29Speaker 3: halo of protection around my car because I don't I
- 8:32Speaker 3: don't always drive an angel and that I just am.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I start getting cocky like you you so you see
- 8:39Speaker 3: cop speed traps so far ahead that you slow down.
- 8:43Speaker 3: We're in the left lane or the right lane. I
- 8:45Speaker 3: was in the left lane, but he was on he
- 8:48Speaker 3: was on the right shoulder. Okay, understandable. And as I said,
- 8:52Speaker 3: I didn't see him because there was a truck that
- 8:53Speaker 3: I was getting passed, and he gunned me and smoked me. Soshole.
- 8:59Speaker 3: He pulls us over, and by the way I'm going
- 9:02Speaker 3: and I'm watching, I'm like, ah boy, oh boy, And
- 9:05Speaker 3: we see him start inching out. He doesn't even turn
- 9:08Speaker 3: his lights on, but my wife goes, you're getting pulled over.
- 9:11Speaker 3: And I then came over to the right lane. He
- 9:14Speaker 3: comes up behind us, catches us. Then he turns his
- 9:17Speaker 3: lights on, pulls me over, and I see him in
- 9:20Speaker 3: his car and in the rear window, the rear mirror,
- 9:23Speaker 3: he takes off that state trooper hat. The brim, the
- 9:28Speaker 3: wide brim.
- 9:29Speaker 8: They got a deep brim, they got a thing.
- 9:31Speaker 3: They could ride horses. They absolutely could ride a horse.
- 9:35Speaker 8: I don't need those in Upstate New York.
- 9:36Speaker 3: In the fall in a car, he hangs it on
- 9:44Speaker 3: the mirror of your car for his car. Okay, So
- 9:46Speaker 3: he takes his hat off and he comes out, and
- 9:49Speaker 3: this guy was amazing. Yeah, he was huge, jacked. You
- 9:55Speaker 3: could tell. He must have been like six five. And
- 10:00Speaker 3: he was wearing these crisp gray uh State police fatigues,
- 10:07Speaker 3: you know, high boots, boots that were coming.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Up to hear black shiny ones.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Shiny as the day is long. And he he was
- 10:17Speaker 3: so handsome. He was black, as I said, and like the.
- 10:21Speaker 8: Black handsome is different than white handsome is so different.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It's like a ups guy, like a black handsome ups guy.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Saw the hottest, this guy.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Like Michael B. Jordan. I actually had the thought. I
- 10:34Speaker 3: was like, what went wrong in his life that he
- 10:37Speaker 3: became a cop because he had You should have told
- 10:41Speaker 3: him that. I thought about it.
- 10:43Speaker 8: You should be in modeling.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I thought about that, but I don't have Let me
- 10:46Speaker 3: get you in touch with my agent.
- 10:48Speaker 8: Ye something about you just seems right.
- 10:51Speaker 3: You rip up this ticket up New York Fashion Week.
- 10:54Speaker 3: So I'm watching him, Bro Jordan square. I rolled down
- 10:58Speaker 3: my window and he goes, I pulled you over because
- 11:01Speaker 3: I clocked you going seventy eight in a fifty five,
- 11:05Speaker 3: And I said, I'm so sorry, officer. I understand, and
- 11:08Speaker 3: he goes, can I have your license registration? And I
- 11:11Speaker 3: pulled out my license and I handed it to him,
- 11:14Speaker 3: and I couldn't shuffling through the papers. I don't know
- 11:18Speaker 3: where shit is in the glove box.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I haven't been pulled over an eons.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Not exactly since high school. And even then I only
- 11:24Speaker 3: got a fucking warning. And more on that later.
- 11:28Speaker 8: But stay tuned.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I handed my license, he goes. He goes, don't worry
- 11:32Speaker 3: about the registration. Is this a twenty twenty three? And
- 11:35Speaker 3: I was nervous and I said yes, but it was
- 11:38Speaker 3: a it's a twenty eighteen.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 11:41Speaker 3: So now I'm worried. He goes back to his car
- 11:44Speaker 3: to run the whole thing, and I'm thinking, oh shit,
- 11:47Speaker 3: do I need to get out of the car. Yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 3: you probably the year of the model.
- 11:52Speaker 8: That's the last thing you want to say, is what mine?
- 11:53Speaker 8: Do you forging the police car?
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yeah? There you go, there you go. So I just
- 11:58Speaker 3: lecked it. I figured we could correct it for the
- 12:01Speaker 3: record when he came back. But he comes back and
- 12:04Speaker 3: he's got I'm thinking, well, he saw the dogs. He
- 12:07Speaker 3: looked in the back seat, saw the dogs. He saw
- 12:09Speaker 3: my wife. My wife's looking cute as a button. She's
- 12:12Speaker 3: wearing a colorful sweater, you know, yeah, a tumnal right,
- 12:16Speaker 3: and she's got a headband on, you know. And and
- 12:20Speaker 3: here's this family man driving back. Sorry, sir, I was
- 12:22Speaker 3: late for work. That's why that's I said. I might
- 12:24Speaker 3: have said that, you know. So I'm thinking, I'm there's
- 12:28Speaker 3: a chance we get off with the warning here. Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 3: the old the old priv kicked in.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Yeah, the white privy, the old priv I probably know
- 12:37Speaker 1: someone he works with.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, if he thinks he's getting if he thinks
- 12:42Speaker 3: he's getting me for this, he clearly doesn't know my
- 12:44Speaker 3: sphere of invaluence. He doesn't know who my dad knows.
- 12:52Speaker 1: The friend of police card too. You should have, I mean,
- 12:54Speaker 1: do you have one of those, one of those I
- 12:56Speaker 1: get out of free, get out of jail free bird
- 13:00Speaker 1: one and never collect like I'll never need this.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I just didn't collect it. I didn't see this. That's
- 13:07Speaker 3: my jail free card. I also like to keep playing
- 13:11Speaker 3: field level, you know. For me, I like to. I
- 13:15Speaker 3: like to. I like to believe. I believe in my
- 13:17Speaker 3: own prev you know what I mean.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Like it exists no matter where you go.
- 13:22Speaker 3: This is Hubris, and I think I can talk my
- 13:26Speaker 3: way out of just about anything. And if I played
- 13:29Speaker 3: dumb and polite enough.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And respect their authorities.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Surround myself with thoroughbred dogs in a non emissions uh
- 13:40Speaker 3: and do whatever vehicle?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, emissions neutral.
- 13:43Speaker 3: There's a pretty good chance. Uh. And of course he
- 13:47Speaker 3: hands me the paper and he starts explaining it to me,
- 13:50Speaker 3: and he goes, you're gonna have to either appear in
- 13:53Speaker 3: court in front of a jury to if you plead
- 13:56Speaker 3: not guilty, or you'll have to plead guilty, uh and
- 14:00Speaker 3: send this in. And I I was very confused. I didn't.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I was like, wait, I'm sorry, Am I going to
- 14:08Speaker 3: I said this? Am I going to jail? I said that?
- 14:13Speaker 3: And he starts laughing. He was sure jail? What? He goes, No,
- 14:19Speaker 3: it's a speeding because I, well, you mentioned the court
- 14:25Speaker 3: and buying guilty and not guilty. He goes, well, if
- 14:27Speaker 3: you were going to jail, i'd put you in handcuffs
- 14:29Speaker 3: right now. And I was almost like that might be
- 14:32Speaker 3: kind of.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Fun the blog if if Nate allowed it.
- 14:38Speaker 8: Yeah, So Francis, the last thing we need is your
- 14:42Speaker 8: fucking jail.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Horror.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Stories up on the barstool blog. It's gonna make Dave
- 14:46Speaker 3: look bad.
- 14:48Speaker 8: It's gonna makes Francis. The last thing we need is
- 14:51Speaker 8: fucking jail stories.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Nice.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Get enough of that with Wallow.
- 14:57Speaker 8: So you would get added to the culture section of
- 14:59Speaker 8: the podcast.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Well, I should have mentioned you're gonna familiar with million
- 15:04Speaker 3: dollars dollars worth of game. Yeah, so I he starts laughing.
- 15:10Speaker 3: He hands me the thing, and uh, he goes on
- 15:14Speaker 3: his way. Now, they don't assign a fine with this ticket.
- 15:19Speaker 3: That gets determined by the court apparately. So I have
- 15:23Speaker 3: no idea what I'm facing here. I'm going twenty three
- 15:25Speaker 3: miles an hour.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Over my guess is like three hundred bucks in points.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I think that's what it's gonna be. Dude, that's bad.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Points is way worse than the camp points.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Points means my insurance are gonna go up.
- 15:38Speaker 8: Oh yeah, when I got pulled over, a bunch of
- 15:39Speaker 8: my parents' insurance cut went up.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, like points on your license eventually, Like you get
- 15:44Speaker 1: enough points, I think they can throw you in the
- 15:46Speaker 1: bank for that.
- 15:47Speaker 3: They can, or they can suspend your license.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Right right, That's probably what it is to spend your
- 15:50Speaker 1: license so.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I'm wondering if I should be contesting this. Do I
- 15:53Speaker 3: go to court? What what leg would I have to
- 15:55Speaker 3: stand on?
- 15:55Speaker 8: If any if you went to court, the police officer
- 15:58Speaker 8: wouldn't show up, and then you would get.
- 16:00Speaker 3: You're banking on that. But you don't know him as
- 16:01Speaker 3: well as I did.
- 16:02Speaker 8: No, But that happens like that's like a known thing.
- 16:03Speaker 8: It's like every time you go the police officer.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Seen, bro, I'm telling you this guy he shows up.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he's gonna come in his in his most stylish.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah, addressed me for court?
- 16:16Speaker 1: He would I don't think, dude, I don't think you
- 16:18Speaker 1: can contest it because we have on this podcast the
- 16:21Speaker 1: full confession.
- 16:23Speaker 3: We do. But like how you can't argue with what
- 16:26Speaker 3: he clocked on the gun.
- 16:28Speaker 1: You could say, so you could say that you weren't
- 16:32Speaker 1: going that fast.
- 16:34Speaker 3: What and that the gun was wrong?
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you could say when was the last time you
- 16:38Speaker 1: calibrated the gun. That's that's a defense.
- 16:40Speaker 3: People actually say that.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I mean, it's so it's a feeble defense, but it's
- 16:43Speaker 1: a defense.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Could I not say I was passing the truck and
- 16:47Speaker 3: therefore I stepped on it for a second?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Or you could say like there was some kind
- 16:52Speaker 1: of an emergent or like a bee was loose in
- 16:54Speaker 1: your car or some ship like that. The Tommy Boy defense.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I think that there's but I think that you're pretty
- 16:59Speaker 1: fucking hamstrung them, dude. I think that they got your ass,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and I think you're going to have to bite the
- 17:04Speaker 1: bullet on this one and get paid.
- 17:07Speaker 3: I want to go to the court. I want them
- 17:09Speaker 3: to see me and hear me and then say, well,
- 17:12Speaker 3: you're guilty, but we're not taken. We're not giving you points.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Or like a lesson sentence.
- 17:17Speaker 3: That's what I want. I'll go all the dust bookshelves
- 17:21Speaker 3: at the local library. You asked for community, so top
- 17:25Speaker 3: shelves get a lot of dust and people who are
- 17:27Speaker 3: tall like knowing true, that's what they like, because a
- 17:29Speaker 3: lot of criminals are not tall.
- 17:31Speaker 1: And librarians are short too. Librarians are some of the
- 17:33Speaker 1: shortest women on earth.
- 17:35Speaker 3: And a lot of the criminals that they would come
- 17:37Speaker 3: in to dust the lower shells they can't let in
- 17:39Speaker 3: the library because they're pedophiles.
- 17:41Speaker 8: Yes, exactly, the public library pedophiles. I was thinking, like
- 17:44Speaker 8: shawsh Ank redemption type library, going.
- 17:46Speaker 3: There, not teaching jess uh No, the lower shells are
- 17:53Speaker 3: for pedophiles. That's who we leave those shells to. And
- 17:55Speaker 3: then they bring someone like me, an upstanding members speeds
- 17:58Speaker 3: just the guy that speeds, wrong place, wrong time, jail.
- 18:01Speaker 1: You would be the librrian, though, you would walk from
- 18:04Speaker 1: sell to sell with a cart of books being like,
- 18:06Speaker 1: oh that's a good one.
- 18:07Speaker 3: I would. I would be teaching people how to achieve
- 18:10Speaker 3: their GEDs.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Yes, I would, yeah, for a lesson sentence or something
- 18:14Speaker 1: like that.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Is what is that guy in Shawshanks say, he's like,
- 18:18Speaker 3: fucking two plus two is four and cats don't climb trees?
- 18:21Speaker 3: Fuck this, I have not.
- 18:23Speaker 8: At all The guy that's trying to get his ged yes, yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 8: and then he gets shot, right, he.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Gets yeah shot and spoilers.
- 18:31Speaker 8: Because he says that he knows the dude that is
- 18:33Speaker 8: the actual criminal.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Dude, I think that your back is flush against the
- 18:37Speaker 1: wall and that it's some bullshit and they probably have
- 18:41Speaker 1: nothing better to do up there.
- 18:43Speaker 8: Your best bet is definitely just to go in person,
- 18:45Speaker 8: and uh, the guy just won't show up and you'll end.
- 18:48Speaker 3: It all get a raise. But if he does come
- 18:50Speaker 3: he's not going, then what is there any way for
- 18:53Speaker 3: me to become friends with him. Now you tell me
- 18:56Speaker 3: I don't have any future with that cop.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I think you have a future, but I think it's
- 18:59Speaker 1: after you save the time and you're like, I shouldn't
- 19:01Speaker 1: have done that, and your best hope is for next time.
- 19:03Speaker 8: Yeah, it's going to be like an American gangster situation mentors. Yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 8: he becomes you got out of prison. He'd like joining
- 19:11Speaker 8: the police force.
- 19:12Speaker 3: I was thinking about that. And then he and I
- 19:15Speaker 3: military or be like. I was speeding good copy because the.
- 19:18Speaker 8: Deadline to enlist wasn't an hour and I had to
- 19:23Speaker 8: get there and just find what side hero have.
- 19:26Speaker 3: You ever Have you ever gone into a military recruiting center?
- 19:30Speaker 1: No, but I've been on the website like a thousand times.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Yeah I went into one.
- 19:33Speaker 8: I've had the name entered, ready to just what do
- 19:35Speaker 8: they make you do? Pull ups?
- 19:38Speaker 3: And there were a bunch of guys milling around and
- 19:40Speaker 3: they looked at me and they're like, can we help you?
- 19:42Speaker 3: And they would come to my school. I'm curious about
- 19:45Speaker 3: joining the Marine Corps and they go, did you go
- 19:47Speaker 3: to college? And I said yes, and they're like, you
- 19:49Speaker 3: need to go down to the officers only.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Man, I'll tell you what when you're hungry out there,
- 19:55Speaker 4: you started acting like a rookie quarterback in his first game,
- 19:57Speaker 4: making bad decisions, messing up the basics, being all out
- 20:00Speaker 4: of sorts. That's where Snickers comes in.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Man.
- 20:04Speaker 4: That thing is packed roasted peanuts, nugget, carmel, milk, chocolate.
- 20:09Speaker 4: It's like the MVP of candy bars. And when you
- 20:12Speaker 4: bite into it, boom, it sorts you out, gets your
- 20:14Speaker 4: head back in the game of life. Satisfying your hunger.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Remember this, Snickers handles your hunger so you can handle
- 20:21Speaker 4: everything else. Snicker satisfies. Man, that's a winning play back
- 20:27Speaker 4: to the show.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They're they're full of shit, these cops.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I found out this past weekend that there is a
- 20:34Speaker 1: law in New York where you can drift your bike
- 20:37Speaker 1: into the intersection and the red lights are just a
- 20:40Speaker 1: yield in New York for rollerbladers, cyclists, skateboarders, anybody who's
- 20:45Speaker 1: doing their own thing. Really, And that's what I got
- 20:49Speaker 1: a fucking ticket for, is going into an intersection when
- 20:51Speaker 1: there was a fucking red leg.
- 20:53Speaker 8: You want to take it because you got your headphones off.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Second ticket, but a lie, you're on the fucking cops side.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Harry.
- 21:02Speaker 8: I'm not on the cops side. I'm just a big
- 21:04Speaker 8: fan of the law and following it, did I watch?
- 21:07Speaker 8: I started watching the show last night called Unbelievable. Have
- 21:09Speaker 8: you guys ever seen this?
- 21:11Speaker 3: I have? Now.
- 21:12Speaker 8: It's a mini series. It's about uh like, it's about
- 21:14Speaker 8: this rapist, serial rapist who like gets pretty much the
- 21:18Speaker 8: it's it's about a serial rapist and it's about these
- 21:20Speaker 8: like two lady cops detectives who are like investigated and
- 21:23Speaker 8: catch the guy.
- 21:24Speaker 3: But it's like so yeah, yeah, yeah, I watched that.
- 21:27Speaker 3: You've seen it. Yes, it's a hereditary. The girl yeah
- 21:33Speaker 3: from she was in BookSmart. Yeah, she was in Princess
- 21:37Speaker 3: Leah's Daughter. No, I didn't know that. That's interesting.
- 21:39Speaker 1: It's obviously not a true story, right, it is?
- 21:41Speaker 3: It is? It is, dude. You know what's so funny
- 21:44Speaker 3: about that show?
- 21:45Speaker 8: How is how obviously like dumb They make the men
- 21:48Speaker 8: out to be like it's not not in a bad way,
- 21:51Speaker 8: but it is like a very pro women show.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Yep.
- 21:55Speaker 8: But like the like the dude cops they're like, uh
- 21:58Speaker 8: like they're all fucking like we're and then the girl
- 22:01Speaker 8: cops are like, yeah, anyways, they'll be in like the
- 22:04Speaker 8: big room, like and they'll be like, what if we
- 22:07Speaker 8: like looked up and saw like maybe if this guy
- 22:10Speaker 8: had a passed in like burglary, And they're like, yeah,
- 22:14Speaker 8: so you think we didn't try that two months ago?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Dumb ass?
- 22:20Speaker 8: Like the whole show is just like anything a dude says,
- 22:22Speaker 8: it's like he has a fucking massive, like learning disability.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Do you think that they're right about male cops being
- 22:32Speaker 1: that stupid?
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah? Probably, I mean, I don't know, I don't know.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I think I think every depart it's just like any job.
- 22:39Speaker 3: You've got brilliant savante cops and you've got really stupid cops. Yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 1: One thing that leads me to believe that they could
- 22:46Speaker 1: be right is that female detective that had like a
- 22:50Speaker 1: train ran on her by every single person in the
- 22:53Speaker 1: police department a couple months ago. It was like the
- 22:54Speaker 1: biggest story in the world. I've never seen that about.
- 22:56Speaker 8: It was the biggest story in the world.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It was fucking massive, due.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Really big story. I never saw this.
- 23:01Speaker 8: You don't remember this like Piggy looking like fucking no
- 23:06Speaker 8: white lady who just wasn't the biggest and the biggest
- 23:08Speaker 8: story in the world. Do you mean, it was the
- 23:09Speaker 8: biggest story on barstool sports dot com.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I don't even think barstool covered it. I think it
- 23:13Speaker 1: was too sat was a big story.
- 23:15Speaker 3: To have covered it. We covered it. Yeah, that's right
- 23:19Speaker 3: up our alley.
- 23:19Speaker 1: But I saw it all over the place, like this
- 23:22Speaker 1: woman was celebrated because she was just getting like plowed
- 23:25Speaker 1: in like by every single stupid fucking cop, just like
- 23:29Speaker 1: in her in her state trooper mobile, in her fucking
- 23:32Speaker 1: patrol car.
- 23:34Speaker 8: Was she on the night shift or of the day shift?
- 23:36Speaker 1: She like black and white? Guys, if that's your asking,
- 23:42Speaker 1: is that what you meant?
- 23:43Speaker 3: No, that's not what I meant. But I feel like
- 23:45Speaker 3: if I was on the night shift, that would be
- 23:46Speaker 3: fucking but you needed to hit that. I don't even
- 23:49Speaker 3: know what buttons is there? We go? Hi, That was
- 23:52Speaker 3: a really good joke.
- 23:53Speaker 8: That was a really good joke.
- 23:55Speaker 3: That was good. But I think she did.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I think there was like the pictures of like the
- 23:58Speaker 1: eight dudes that she banged and they're just all like boo.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Like. I think that there is like.
- 24:02Speaker 8: A good chance that that show that you're watching right
- 24:05Speaker 8: now is accurate to mail cops being fucking idiots. Yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 8: I mean I'm sure they are, but it is like
- 24:10Speaker 8: it they definitely overdid it in some sense.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I hate sexism against my male brothers.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Well me too, you know.
- 24:18Speaker 8: But I'm also obviously obviously a very big fan of
- 24:21Speaker 8: the Lady detectives who stopped this monster. It's a true story.
- 24:24Speaker 8: I didn't know it was a true story.
- 24:25Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it's a pretty story show. It's heavy.
- 24:27Speaker 8: It was like, I need a fucking I need to
- 24:29Speaker 8: get into a new mini series because I had a
- 24:31Speaker 8: terrible day yesterday watching sports, and I was like, all right,
- 24:34Speaker 8: let me get into something, you know, And then I
- 24:37Speaker 8: was like, provokes a.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Little heavy, let me get into a rape show.
- 24:40Speaker 8: Yeah, Like the whole first episode is just like vicious
- 24:43Speaker 8: rape flashbacks.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I was like, Jesus Christ, it's pretty bad.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 3: I think it's a true story. Well, I think the
- 24:50Speaker 3: point of the story is more about how the world
- 24:55Speaker 3: tends to not believe somebody who claims that they were raped. Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 8: Yeah, it is very fucked up. We can change the topic.
- 25:02Speaker 8: We don't have to fucking spend the whole episode talking
- 25:03Speaker 8: about that. Yeah, I gotta start out what's it called
- 25:07Speaker 8: the Pacific?
- 25:08Speaker 3: The Civics A step down from That's what I've heard.
- 25:10Speaker 8: But did you see they came out with that new one.
- 25:14Speaker 3: It looks a little more Hollywood eyed.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Mmm.
- 25:20Speaker 3: To me, it's the sexy Elvis actor. Feel like that
- 25:25Speaker 3: guy Marshall.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Got stuck in el voice. He's like a guy who's
- 25:31Speaker 1: the hiccups for the rest of his life, Like he
- 25:33Speaker 1: can't shake that voice.
- 25:34Speaker 3: He's a little top gun. I thought, you know, uh,
- 25:37Speaker 3: Damian lewis being cast as Major Winners. He's not like
- 25:41Speaker 3: the most handsome actor. I like that.
- 25:43Speaker 8: You look a lot like Major Winners. You could be
- 25:47Speaker 8: in a fucking movie like that with that haircut of yours.
- 25:49Speaker 8: You'd be on the Nazi side.
- 25:51Speaker 3: They would be like, there's come on, no one, that
- 25:54Speaker 3: no one that clean. You know, he wasn't in Bad
- 25:59Speaker 3: Bad Stone dodging shrapnel and fox holes. That guy's getting
- 26:04Speaker 3: out of speeding tickets on the four o five now.
- 26:07Speaker 1: But but putting Elvis in that is is hilarious though
- 26:10Speaker 1: it was his name Austin Butler.
- 26:12Speaker 8: Yeah, and his voice is the deepest cross Oh god,
- 26:19Speaker 8: oh lord, oh lord, crowds.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Just us in your fox holes. Now, that's just that's
- 26:29Speaker 1: the the the horse.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I don't know I can't do.
- 26:33Speaker 8: I'm not very good impression and such, I give him
- 26:35Speaker 8: my best, all right, fall.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Back was nailing it. You thought you were jumping and jumping.
- 26:39Speaker 8: I was having a good time. We were taking his
- 26:41Speaker 8: and you were just turning it into a warble thorough bread.
- 26:49Speaker 8: That's good to dolt.
- 26:50Speaker 3: What how I can do an anthropomorphic Clydes sound like brown?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Come on, everybody, hold your whole mind. That's a sparky
- 27:00Speaker 1: from that's pretty doing him. But yeah, in uh In
- 27:08Speaker 1: Bandon Brothers, like some of the dudes have like chick
- 27:10Speaker 1: lit teeth or just like uh, I don't even know
- 27:12Speaker 1: where they found them as like Apris, like they're they're
- 27:15Speaker 1: like appropriately ugly enough and killable.
- 27:18Speaker 8: Yeah, most of the main leads in that show are
- 27:20Speaker 8: fucking big ass names like now.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Yeah, but they weren't then. Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Tom Hardy seen his as Tom Hank show.
- 27:30Speaker 3: He has no muscle yet really e he's like one
- 27:34Speaker 3: hundred and fifty pounds in that show.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Fucking gross.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Checking off the boxes on your to do list can
- 27:39Speaker 3: be a great feeling, and when it comes to checking
- 27:41Speaker 3: off coverage, a state farm agent can help you choose
- 27:44Speaker 3: an option that's right for you, like a good neighbor
- 27:46Speaker 3: state farm? Is there? Uh?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Sas?
- 27:50Speaker 3: Why are you wearing a whoop? Now? It's not a whoop?
- 27:52Speaker 3: This is a fitbit. What is it?
- 27:54Speaker 1: Why are you wearing that now?
- 27:55Speaker 3: It doesn't even work?
- 27:56Speaker 8: It's dead.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Are you that it died this morning?
- 28:03Speaker 3: Do you a peer athletic?
- 28:04Speaker 8: No, I've been going on all the walks really yes,
- 28:07Speaker 8: And I'm not drinking and I'm not I'm off the gummies.
- 28:09Speaker 3: That's the big one.
- 28:11Speaker 1: What gummies?
- 28:11Speaker 3: The candies?
- 28:14Speaker 8: What do you mean just regular like sugar like candy? Okay,
- 28:18Speaker 8: I didn't know if you can getting out of control
- 28:20Speaker 8: for a minute.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Really candy.
- 28:22Speaker 8: It was eating a lot of candy.
- 28:26Speaker 3: How does that? How do you get into it?
- 28:28Speaker 8: It's a slow process and then you realize, oh shit,
- 28:31Speaker 8: I'm putting down like a bag at night, which is
- 28:32Speaker 8: like a thousand grams of sugar. I think that there's
- 28:37Speaker 8: I think I've already lost weight, dude, since Wednesday, I've
- 28:39Speaker 8: lost like five pounds.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Not in your face.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I'm just kidding, brother.
- 28:44Speaker 3: No, I really have.
- 28:44Speaker 8: Because it's like I was looking in the mirror and
- 28:46Speaker 8: my titties are hanging.
- 28:47Speaker 3: A lot less. They're sitting high they're sitting high.
- 28:50Speaker 8: They're getting back to their original position, nice and firm.
- 28:53Speaker 1: A mild be a mild single bee cup.
- 28:55Speaker 8: Which is very nice. Yeah, because dude, I mean I
- 28:58Speaker 8: was putting down these Jolly Rancher gunsmies. I mean they
- 29:00Speaker 8: are next level gummies. Yea, the best gummies I've ever had.
- 29:04Speaker 8: And I've always been a candy guy, but I was
- 29:05Speaker 8: off of it for a while, and then recently I
- 29:08Speaker 8: started getting back on it, and then I would be like,
- 29:10Speaker 8: I don't know, when you eat candy, you're like whatever,
- 29:12Speaker 8: It's like a couple pieces of candy.
- 29:13Speaker 3: It's not going to fucking ruin me.
- 29:15Speaker 8: And then you realize, oh shit, I've been eating a
- 29:17Speaker 8: lot of pieces of candy for the last three months straight, right,
- 29:20Speaker 8: And then.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Is it ever chocolate?
- 29:22Speaker 3: God?
- 29:22Speaker 8: No, it's only anything that was made in like a
- 29:24Speaker 8: lab that was designed by scientists to taste.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Good by genius scientists.
- 29:30Speaker 8: And Jolly Rancher gummies are fucking phenomenal. But I'm off
- 29:33Speaker 8: of the I haven't had I haven't had gummies in
- 29:35Speaker 8: like two weeks.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I think me and Francis are both more like chocolate
- 29:38Speaker 1: dessert type guys.
- 29:39Speaker 8: Francis needs nice pastry.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Oh, I do love a flaky pastry filled with different
- 29:44Speaker 3: types of cream. I had three pastries on Saturday morning.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Three God damn.
- 29:49Speaker 3: But pastre is the thing with pastries, Like, what kind
- 29:51Speaker 3: of pastries? Are we talking? Like croissants? Well? No, I
- 29:53Speaker 3: had one that had pistachio filling inside. Oh, and I
- 29:56Speaker 3: had an apple turnover that was filled with applely goodness.
- 30:00Speaker 3: And then I had a pan oh chocola. I've never
- 30:04Speaker 3: had any of those things except for the first one.
- 30:06Speaker 3: You've probably had a pan I don't think I have
- 30:08Speaker 3: chocolate bread, chocolate salt, oh, chocolate fissant. All right, just
- 30:11Speaker 3: say that next time. I like the honor.
- 30:15Speaker 8: Yeah, dude, but it is.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Nice.
- 30:18Speaker 8: I feel like a croissant has the same thing. It
- 30:20Speaker 8: feels the same as like eating popcorn. You're like, this
- 30:23Speaker 8: should be zero calories. Why I don't know popcorn. I
- 30:27Speaker 8: feel like it's like fake calories.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Because I think you don't acknowledge butter.
- 30:30Speaker 3: I don't.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I think that, Like, uh, it seems like everything you
- 30:33Speaker 1: described almost is butter heavy.
- 30:35Speaker 3: It seems like you're like a butter is your.
- 30:38Speaker 8: That's your cup of tea, it's you, it's your vice.
- 30:40Speaker 8: Whereas just playing straight sugar like sugar and chemicals? Is
- 30:44Speaker 8: your very much?
- 30:45Speaker 3: So let me ask you something. Can you say this
- 30:48Speaker 3: qua qua say sant sant? Put those together? Croissant? Yeah?
- 30:54Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 30:55Speaker 8: I'm fucking Why would I not appeple to say that?
- 30:57Speaker 8: Did you not hear me say in the beginning.
- 30:59Speaker 3: You you were saying croissant? How do you say croissant? Croissant? Yeah,
- 31:05Speaker 3: but you are capable saying you're capable. I'm not.
- 31:11Speaker 8: I'm not trying to be all dramatic. I'm just gonna
- 31:13Speaker 8: say croissant. I'm not gonna say croissant. Why not because
- 31:16Speaker 8: I'm ordering croissants.
- 31:18Speaker 3: You're ordering them? Yeah? This morning where Starbucks?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Oh that's that's unfortunately.
- 31:24Speaker 3: It was very good. No, I needed something, you guys.
- 31:26Speaker 8: I needed something before you guys.
- 31:28Speaker 3: That is a croissant, that's a roll.
- 31:34Speaker 8: But I needed something for my cup of Joe because
- 31:36Speaker 8: I'm back on the Joe to big time Joe. I
- 31:38Speaker 8: love it all it takes, though it's gonna be one day.
- 31:40Speaker 1: It's because you like those break down. Yeah, You're gonna
- 31:43Speaker 1: have a mental mass panic.
- 31:45Speaker 8: Attack and then I'll be like, all right, back to
- 31:46Speaker 8: the red bulls.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You're gonna be pissing from your palms.
- 31:49Speaker 3: This is the sweat.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the sweat is different, but it's the holiday cups.
- 31:53Speaker 3: I think that you like.
- 31:54Speaker 8: No, that was my first time having Starbucks. It was
- 31:56Speaker 8: the fastest option on New Breatz. And we were satting
- 31:58Speaker 8: up and I was like, all right, let me get
- 31:59Speaker 8: some fucking Joe me because I overslept a little.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Bit, so you need a little pick me up.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yeah, luckily you boys were wildly late. What time did
- 32:05Speaker 3: you sleep until today?
- 32:07Speaker 8: I woke up at nine am, texted Roan, but I
- 32:09Speaker 8: went to bed late, so I set my alarm four nine,
- 32:12Speaker 8: and then I said another one for eleven because I
- 32:15Speaker 8: was like, I'm gonna wake up early. Text Roan be like, hey,
- 32:17Speaker 8: what's the plan for today? Well, it act like I'm
- 32:19Speaker 8: up early. Yeah, fall back asleep, and then I woke
- 32:23Speaker 8: back up and it was like eleven thirty, and I
- 32:25Speaker 8: was like I jumped out of bed.
- 32:27Speaker 3: I was like, no, not again. Do you know across
- 32:32Speaker 3: the world I would need to travel in order to
- 32:35Speaker 3: come home and sleep until eleven thirty in the morning.
- 32:38Speaker 8: Yeah, but you also don't go to bed as late
- 32:39Speaker 8: as I do. You're on a grinder, He's what do
- 32:42Speaker 8: you mean?
- 32:42Speaker 1: He has like spots at the fucking Comedy Cellar at
- 32:45Speaker 1: one thirty.
- 32:46Speaker 3: It's still a thing.
- 32:46Speaker 8: That place is still running, dude. Everyone in New York
- 32:51Speaker 8: has been saying that club is going under. Oh boy, no,
- 32:55Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Well, yeah, he can't stick with that. He's not sticking
- 32:59Speaker 3: with that bit.
- 33:00Speaker 1: He would give it all up in a second. I
- 33:02Speaker 1: think that he would if he had two guns and
- 33:04Speaker 1: two bullets and they said that if you kill Francis
- 33:07Speaker 1: and Ron, you can be at the Comedy Sellar tonight.
- 33:09Speaker 8: Dude, I would kill you guys to perform in the
- 33:10Speaker 8: downstairs room at the stand and wouldn't even think twice
- 33:14Speaker 8: about it.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I would brutally murder you like.
- 33:17Speaker 1: That video of like the Vietnam execution where the blood
- 33:20Speaker 1: is literally like coming out like a water fountain. He
- 33:22Speaker 1: would shoot us from close range.
- 33:24Speaker 8: Literally, It'll be like the Battle of a Stone. It'd
- 33:26Speaker 8: be just like bastone. Forty three million or no, forty
- 33:31Speaker 8: three thousand crowds died there and forty nine thousand Americans
- 33:35Speaker 8: died in Bestone Is that right? Is that true? And
- 33:37Speaker 8: band of brothers? It makes it seem like maybe five,
- 33:39Speaker 8: and I didn't.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Know it was that many. Well, I thought that was
- 33:42Speaker 3: just are you talking about Normandy.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I'm talking about Baston, Bestone.
- 33:47Speaker 3: In the woods in the snow, Battle of the Bulge. No,
- 33:50Speaker 3: we're talking about two different things. I think Bastone is
- 33:52Speaker 3: when they're in the woods in the snow, in the snow, Yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 3: that's Battle of the Bulge.
- 33:57Speaker 1: No, but that's pastone.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Are you sure about that? You'll pick up on it.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Best Stone?
- 34:02Speaker 8: I hate, I hate when I have to out history
- 34:04Speaker 8: and knowledge France.
- 34:05Speaker 3: It's like this. You might be right.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Siege at best Stone.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Look up Battle of the Bulge.
- 34:10Speaker 1: How many Americans died in best Stone? Let me go back,
- 34:14Speaker 1: how when Americans died in best Stone?
- 34:16Speaker 3: Battle of best Stone?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Broll I thought you had that.
- 34:19Speaker 8: He's not even coming close to looking at the Battle
- 34:21Speaker 8: of bout Stone's.
- 34:24Speaker 3: You don't have second apartment by the way, city biking
- 34:31Speaker 3: here down this level. You live on a beautiful, truly
- 34:35Speaker 3: the nicest street in New York.
- 34:36Speaker 1: So now it's picturesque.
- 34:39Speaker 8: This is going away very soon when I am running
- 34:42Speaker 8: out of money fast.
- 34:44Speaker 3: No you're not. I don't buy that for a goddamn
- 34:47Speaker 3: is it a.
- 34:48Speaker 8: Bad sign when you're when you're ending the year with
- 34:50Speaker 8: less money than you had the year before.
- 34:52Speaker 1: No, that's supposed that you're supposed to do that until
- 34:54Speaker 1: your death.
- 34:56Speaker 8: Because I feel like last year I had a lot
- 34:57Speaker 8: of money, and now this year, I'm like, it's pretty
- 35:00Speaker 8: just the same.
- 35:00Speaker 3: What are you spending it on?
- 35:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean my rent is expensive.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 35:07Speaker 1: You got to get on the road, brother, You've got
- 35:09Speaker 1: to doing on the.
- 35:09Speaker 8: Road this weekend, Saint Louis, come for the shows.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Can I make a recommendation there's still plenty of start
- 35:14Speaker 1: selling out theaters.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be nice.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Don't you think that's a good idea?
- 35:17Speaker 3: Ramp it up? That? It would be a very good idea.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You selling out some theaters, I think. But I think
- 35:22Speaker 1: sobriety is a good pace for you because you've been
- 35:24Speaker 1: spending like six dollars on bud lights tonight.
- 35:27Speaker 3: I know that's the thing. I don't know.
- 35:29Speaker 8: I don't know what it is because I don't spend
- 35:32Speaker 8: any money on drinks.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I guess it's food. Here's the way to save some money,
- 35:38Speaker 3: hunt for your own meals. Yeah, we'll go upstates every
- 35:40Speaker 3: single to me speaking up I went bird hunting this weekend.
- 35:46Speaker 3: That did. That's an experience, that's right. I shot pheasant
- 35:51Speaker 3: bird hunting and partridge, that's what I call it. Would
- 35:53Speaker 3: me and my boys got and hit the town. I
- 35:54Speaker 3: don't know if I went, I don't know if I
- 35:56Speaker 3: shot partridge. I shot chucker chucker pheasant, and.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I've never heard of chucker.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I would love chucker. Shot of shrewster tail for some chucker.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Right now. Big one shot it out of the sky.
- 36:10Speaker 3: So the dogs, they they go through the field and
- 36:14Speaker 3: they're kind of circling and criss crossing, and they're smelling,
- 36:18Speaker 3: and then they get on the scent and one of
- 36:20Speaker 3: them stops and points there. It is, yeah, that's what
- 36:25Speaker 3: it's saying. There's one right there. It's it's kind of
- 36:27Speaker 3: down were you're using a rifle. Maybe maybe it was
- 36:32Speaker 3: a shotgun.
- 36:33Speaker 8: It was probably I think you typically you shoot scatter
- 36:37Speaker 8: shirds with shotguns.
- 36:38Speaker 3: So then that dog points, and then the other dog
- 36:41Speaker 3: comes over, and then the two of them start chasing it.
- 36:44Speaker 3: And these things run through the brush. They run fast,
- 36:47Speaker 3: they run. What kind of dogs are the the way?
- 36:49Speaker 3: Have you ever seen the movie The Incredibles? I have, yes.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Do you know the moment where the mom elastic girl
- 36:57Speaker 3: the plane explodes and then they big landing the water.
- 37:02Speaker 3: You know, they land in the water and she creates
- 37:04Speaker 3: a boat out of her body. Oh yes, yes, yes,
- 37:07Speaker 3: Dash powers them to the island.
- 37:10Speaker 1: That's how the dogs run, it looked.
- 37:12Speaker 3: That's what the quet the pheasants look like they're running
- 37:15Speaker 3: is they're very low to the ground and like Kyler
- 37:17Speaker 3: Murray head there forward, but they're yeah, but they're kind
- 37:20Speaker 3: of just motoring forward. And so the dogs get on
- 37:25Speaker 3: it on the chase and then they have to nudge
- 37:28Speaker 3: it up in the air, and if they get it up,
- 37:30Speaker 3: then they they flush it. They flush it up in
- 37:33Speaker 3: the air, and the birds startled kind of squawked up
- 37:37Speaker 3: in the air, and it goes up in the air
- 37:39Speaker 3: and you have a split second where it doesn't really
- 37:41Speaker 3: know where it wants to fly and it's just sort
- 37:44Speaker 3: of up in the air. You can boom to take
- 37:49Speaker 3: them out, but I didn't really have that. They all
- 37:51Speaker 3: the ones I hit all started kind of moving, so
- 37:54Speaker 3: I had to get a moving shot.
- 37:56Speaker 1: And the question though with the dog is going that
- 38:00Speaker 1: direction and the bird flies up over the dog and
- 38:02Speaker 1: you're shooting in that direction.
- 38:03Speaker 3: You don't shoot when they're over the dogs. You wait
- 38:06Speaker 3: for them to clear. You wait for the birds to
- 38:07Speaker 3: clear from the dogs. Interesting, because the guy who took
- 38:10Speaker 3: us out told me right off the bat, he goes,
- 38:12Speaker 3: I have one rule. If you shoot one of my dogs,
- 38:15Speaker 3: I get you owe me a leg Interesting. That feels
- 38:19Speaker 3: like that wouldn't hold up in court.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I know, I know it would be like fucking best.
- 38:24Speaker 8: But I take your leg off.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I was remarkably restrained, like anytime the birds were within
- 38:31Speaker 3: anywhere of the other people in the group, you know,
- 38:35Speaker 3: the guy who was guiding the dogs and stuff like that,
- 38:38Speaker 3: And it was me and another friend of mine who
- 38:39Speaker 3: he had the other side of the field, So if
- 38:41Speaker 3: the birds flew to his side, he would shoot him.
- 38:43Speaker 3: If they flew to my side, I would try to
- 38:44Speaker 3: shoot him.
- 38:45Speaker 8: I could definitely see you being more of like a
- 38:46Speaker 8: dick Cheney out there.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Well, that's my point is like the fact that he
- 38:51Speaker 3: did shoot a guy in the face doing this makes
- 38:55Speaker 3: no sense to.
- 38:55Speaker 8: It makes no sense because he literally just shot a
- 38:58Speaker 8: dude just for no reason.
- 39:00Speaker 3: There's no way it was an accident. But he like
- 39:04Speaker 3: have to really not be paying attention to the rules.
- 39:07Speaker 3: In order to do what I mean.
- 39:09Speaker 8: I've told the story before about how my dad when
- 39:11Speaker 8: we were when we went paintballing in fifth grade for
- 39:14Speaker 8: my birthday and it was like me and three of
- 39:16Speaker 8: my friends and my dad and we were like, have
- 39:18Speaker 8: you ever been paint falling before? And you know how
- 39:20Speaker 8: you're like before you start, there's like a dude who
- 39:22Speaker 8: gives all the instructions and you're all like standing in
- 39:24Speaker 8: this like huddle circle. Some dude just shot my dad
- 39:27Speaker 8: straight in the head from like one inch away. What
- 39:31Speaker 8: just like before we even started. My dad was just
- 39:33Speaker 8: standing there.
- 39:34Speaker 3: And some dude. It was just like.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Intentionally, what are your friend?
- 39:42Speaker 8: No? A random stranger? The dude got like kicked out
- 39:44Speaker 8: of the entire thing, and my dad was like stop.
- 39:47Speaker 8: My dad turns his face because he got the mask on,
- 39:49Speaker 8: but he turns his face and there's just paint all
- 39:51Speaker 8: over his face and he was like, some dude just
- 39:55Speaker 8: fucking shot me in the head. I'm sure it was
- 39:58Speaker 8: an accident. I'm sure that I didn't do it on purpose.
- 40:01Speaker 8: I think the guy, I think the way my dad
- 40:02Speaker 8: described it was like the guy was like leaning, he
- 40:04Speaker 8: was like on his like on it, taking a knee
- 40:06Speaker 8: and he had his gun. He had his gun like
- 40:08Speaker 8: this and he just like pressed the trigger and it
- 40:10Speaker 8: just hit my dad right that.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Story five seconds ago, and say execution style on purpose.
- 40:15Speaker 3: And it's called exaggerating for a joke. Okay, mae, no,
- 40:19Speaker 3: but that really did happen. It was very funny.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude, that's fucking brutal.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Did it? Did it hurt your dad?
- 40:25Speaker 1: I've never gone.
- 40:28Speaker 8: Yeah, when it hits you, it does hurt, and you
- 40:30Speaker 8: get like, wells, yeah, I've seen the welst terrible. My
- 40:33Speaker 8: dad had a story when he went paintballing when he
- 40:35Speaker 8: was a kid and he said that the it was
- 40:36Speaker 8: the middle of the winter and he said that the well,
- 40:38Speaker 8: the balls were froz they would freeze because it.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Was so cold. And he said that was like you
- 40:42Speaker 3: would get massive welds.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Is your daddy a career paintballer.
- 40:46Speaker 8: No, he's probably been paintballing two times. There's the chairs
- 40:49Speaker 8: one time then and then one time with me. I've
- 40:52Speaker 8: told that story before, but some dude DMed me randomly
- 40:55Speaker 8: and was like that story was so funny, and I
- 40:56Speaker 8: was like, I think I told that story like two
- 40:58Speaker 8: years ago. Some dude, I thought I'd repurpose it. It's
- 41:01Speaker 8: worth it. Yeah, it's a good.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Store because there might be new listeners exact way subscribe
- 41:05Speaker 1: to the podcast. Definitely subscribe some of a boy dad.
- 41:07Speaker 1: But uh yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if some guy
- 41:09Speaker 1: message you and was like, I tried to kill your
- 41:11Speaker 1: dad with a paintball.
- 41:12Speaker 8: Yeah, that would also not be surprising.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Or if two female cops fucking yeah the dude after
- 41:18Speaker 1: the fucking bumbling men on the force fumbled around. But so,
- 41:22Speaker 1: did you have any qualms about shooting a pheasant? Is
- 41:26Speaker 1: your first This is your first kill, right.
- 41:28Speaker 3: First kill of anything really other than you know, mosquitos
- 41:31Speaker 3: and shit and maybe the occasional squirrel or raccoon that
- 41:37Speaker 3: I've run over and then seen it twitching in its
- 41:41Speaker 3: final death spasms. So then I stopped backed up, and
- 41:45Speaker 3: then and then one more time for good measure over
- 41:48Speaker 3: the front, mostly for the sound and sensation.
- 41:51Speaker 8: But yeah, what do you do when you kill them?
- 41:55Speaker 3: You got it?
- 41:56Speaker 8: Like, do you have to fucking you just go pick
- 41:58Speaker 8: them up? Or the dogs give them.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Then retree it in its mouth and brings it to you,
- 42:02Speaker 3: and then you stuff it in a little bag in
- 42:04Speaker 3: your back of your vest.
- 42:05Speaker 1: And are they always dead from the first shot.
- 42:09Speaker 3: No, So this is where if the bird, if you
- 42:13Speaker 3: wing the bird, if you shoot in the wing or something,
- 42:16Speaker 3: then it's not dead. And then the guy who's controls
- 42:19Speaker 3: I'm assuming right, it falls, the dog gets goes and
- 42:22Speaker 3: gets it, and then they bring it over to the
- 42:24Speaker 3: guy and the guy takes the bird by the head.
- 42:29Speaker 3: It goes like this and breaks its neck by like
- 42:33Speaker 3: almost you know that toy that swings it by its
- 42:39Speaker 3: head around its body or or you could just twist it.
- 42:42Speaker 1: But a police officer swinging his baton walking down.
- 42:44Speaker 3: The street, and so they kill it that way. And
- 42:48Speaker 3: then spirit of being a good hunter. Uh, we then fullate.
- 42:55Speaker 3: We plucked the birds and then we brind them in
- 42:59Speaker 3: a exture of brown sugar and salt water.
- 43:04Speaker 8: Is by yourself? You just like took the birds home. Yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 8: well we didn't pluck them.
- 43:07Speaker 3: They plucked them, and then they kind of cut them
- 43:09Speaker 3: up and stuff and prepared them. But then we brined
- 43:12Speaker 3: them and then we created a lovely We made a
- 43:15Speaker 3: nice We braised them for hours and then we ate them.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Was it significantly better than a normal like chicken or hen?
- 43:25Speaker 3: That you would eat. Pheasant's good. It's it's good. It's
- 43:29Speaker 3: a little leaner probably there's no fat at all, right,
- 43:33Speaker 3: white meat. Yeah, and it was nice and good. It's
- 43:35Speaker 3: just a smaller chicken kind of taste.
- 43:37Speaker 1: But see, I prefer my chicken too, have never been
- 43:41Speaker 1: outside and its entire LAMI too.
- 43:43Speaker 8: I want my to be real fat.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I want my to not have flown and be pumped
- 43:47Speaker 1: full of steroids.
- 43:48Speaker 8: Yeah, been living within millimeters of other chickens for its
- 43:51Speaker 8: entire lifetime.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I don't don't get me wrong. These pheasants, they weren't
- 43:56Speaker 3: exactly you know, iron men, five k runners. These things
- 44:00Speaker 3: have been grown somewhere in I think China. Oh really,
- 44:04Speaker 3: so then they stalk, They stalk the fields with them.
- 44:07Speaker 8: Yeah, I was about to say, because those are too
- 44:08Speaker 8: beautiful of birds to just be occurring naturally.
- 44:11Speaker 3: But what happens is previous hunts. Sometimes they'll throw twenty
- 44:15Speaker 3: birds into the fields and they'll only get sixteen of them.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Maybe the dogs only get seventeen up in the air,
- 44:23Speaker 3: four shots are missed, and the two or three survivors,
- 44:27Speaker 3: the wiliest, most you know, bulletproof birds, they come back
- 44:33Speaker 3: and settle in the fields, and then those birds become
- 44:37Speaker 3: they become wild.
- 44:38Speaker 1: I would watch a movie about the birds that got like.
- 44:41Speaker 3: The birds that break for it.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Yeah, like that got like taken from China, set out
- 44:44Speaker 1: in the field. Everybody hunted them and they had to
- 44:46Speaker 1: fucking run away, escaped and then started a better life
- 44:49Speaker 1: for themselves.
- 44:50Speaker 3: That's going to be exhilarating. That's inspiring. Honestly, I wouldn't
- 44:53Speaker 3: mind that happening to me. Pretty badass, But your odds.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Are loved one of the let's be honest me and
- 44:59Speaker 1: you are getting fuck plucked off as one of the
- 45:01Speaker 1: sixteen of twenty.
- 45:03Speaker 8: No, you're gonna pretty much have military training. I too,
- 45:09Speaker 8: I've been watching recently.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I'd be I'd be. I'd be so badass. I'd be
- 45:13Speaker 3: sneaking in at night to eat the dog's food, would you.
- 45:16Speaker 3: I'd go in because they sleeping in like this outdoor
- 45:18Speaker 3: indoor kennel, and they they live for it. They live
- 45:22Speaker 3: for the birds. That's their favorite thing in the world
- 45:26Speaker 3: is to hunt these birds. And uh, I.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Think you'd be sneaky enough to pull up on a
- 45:30Speaker 1: dog like that.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I think there'd be some other bird who would dare
- 45:33Speaker 3: me to do it. And I would do it, But
- 45:36Speaker 3: then I would dare like the new kid who was
- 45:39Speaker 3: talking a lot of ship, and he'd do it, but
- 45:41Speaker 3: he'd get caught, and I'd have a change of heart
- 45:43Speaker 3: and I'd go.
- 45:43Speaker 8: See, yeah, damn heroic bird. Do you think you'd be
- 45:46Speaker 8: able to save them?
- 45:47Speaker 3: It's tough when you're a bird.
- 45:50Speaker 8: Because I feel like a dog wouldn't be able to
- 45:52Speaker 8: catch a bird in its.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Own cage eating its kibbles as a as a souvenir.
- 46:00Speaker 3: The dogs were bells around their neck. I think what
- 46:02Speaker 3: I would do is I would dare one of the
- 46:04Speaker 3: rookie birds bring.
- 46:08Speaker 8: Total yeah bird man and Drew ski I saw what
- 46:11Speaker 8: the heck's going on?

- 48:14Speaker 8: the show.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I saw a video this week of a of a
- 48:18Speaker 1: leopard sneaking into someone's house, presumably in like Africa, Asia,
- 48:24Speaker 1: because we don't we don't have those in northwestis yes,
- 48:27Speaker 1: and it it like descended. It was like a ring camera,
- 48:31Speaker 1: a closed circuit TV type of thing, and it just
- 48:34Speaker 1: crept up on a dog and it got pitch black
- 48:38Speaker 1: in the house but night vision camera and it got
- 48:40Speaker 1: like one inch away from the dog and the dog
- 48:43Speaker 1: had absolutely no idea. A leopard like attacked the dog.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Basically did the dog die. They didn't show that in
- 48:50Speaker 1: the video, but I'm so surprising.
- 48:52Speaker 8: I mean, I guess it makes sense because I'm sure
- 48:53Speaker 8: leopards are very moved, very quietly when they're stalking their prey.
- 48:57Speaker 1: And because they've had to live in the child and yeah,
- 49:01Speaker 1: their uh silence is utilitarian, that's like.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Their go to move.
- 49:05Speaker 8: But it is surprising that that a dog wouldn't hear that.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Especially in its own house.
- 49:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess dog don't Dogs have like three hundred
- 49:12Speaker 8: times the level hearing that humans have.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I guess leopards probably have more. I actually just wondered
- 49:17Speaker 3: about dogs if their smell is that much more powerful?
- 49:22Speaker 3: If you fart in a dog's face, is it just like,
- 49:25Speaker 3: kill me? Dude? I saw a video the other love
- 49:28Speaker 3: that shit. But I said, I don't know if I
- 49:29Speaker 3: said this to you.
- 49:30Speaker 8: I saw I saw a video the other day of
- 49:31Speaker 8: a dog who was like like, it's just like a
- 49:34Speaker 8: Snapchat video and it's this dog in the bathroom with
- 49:37Speaker 8: this dude and he's and the dudes were filming and
- 49:39Speaker 8: the dogs like like gagging trying to get out of
- 49:42Speaker 8: the bathroom and.
- 49:43Speaker 3: He's like, you wanted to come in, You're gonna sit
- 49:45Speaker 3: through here. It's hot in here.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Huh.
- 49:49Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, it's roasting in here.
- 49:52Speaker 8: Dogs like clawing trying to get out of the bathroom.
- 49:58Speaker 1: The dog pulls out a gun and shoots itself. Is
- 50:02Speaker 1: such a funny video. I mean if they if it
- 50:06Speaker 1: is that that acute of a sense, then that must
- 50:08Speaker 1: have been torture for the dog.
- 50:10Speaker 8: Oh yeah, Like, but dog's farts. I mean, dude, nothing
- 50:14Speaker 8: smells worse than a dog fart. Your dog's fart, coach,
- 50:18Speaker 8: I does, Dude, My dog Stitch farts like so much.
- 50:21Speaker 8: And then he wags his tail and it spreads it around,
- 50:24Speaker 8: and you're like.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Oh, you might consider switching his food a bit.
- 50:27Speaker 8: Well, it's kind of that's my parents the formula. Phone
- 50:31Speaker 8: home and be like, guys, let's switch the formula. Come
- 50:34Speaker 8: on home for Thanksgiving. I want those farts to be
- 50:36Speaker 8: a little more tame.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Do you think do you think huntings? Do you guys
- 50:39Speaker 3: have moral hang ups about it?
- 50:41Speaker 8: I don't know if I would have many moral hang
- 50:42Speaker 8: ups about shooting birds.
- 50:44Speaker 3: That's the thing, but I feel like I would have
- 50:47Speaker 3: a problem shooting it.
- 50:48Speaker 8: Like the Sydney Wells level of ship where she's posting
- 50:50Speaker 8: like night vision cameras being like I have had this
- 50:53Speaker 8: one since he was just two months old. Look how
- 50:56Speaker 8: big he's grown. Can't wait to murder him next weekend.
- 50:59Speaker 8: I don't know if i'd be able to get down
- 51:00Speaker 8: with that. No, that's not really my star.
- 51:02Speaker 1: She has a respect for It's not like she's killing
- 51:04Speaker 1: them as soon as she sees them. She's like, no,
- 51:06Speaker 1: I'm not going to kill you today. Yeah, kill you today.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Yeah. They let them grow up, and she's pretty wildly.
- 51:11Speaker 3: I mean, we should send her down to the tunnels
- 51:13Speaker 3: under Gaza.
- 51:14Speaker 8: Yeah, she'd be clean the streets, Megan mince meat.
- 51:17Speaker 3: Yeah, she'd do.
- 51:19Speaker 8: A great job in like a taxi driver role in
- 51:21Speaker 8: the city. Go and just slaughter all the homeless.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Her going against just going to town against the moas
- 51:32Speaker 1: will be fucking impressive. And I think she could, dude.
- 51:35Speaker 1: I mean, some of the guys in Bandoned Brothers, they
- 51:37Speaker 1: were just hunt some of the best shots, right.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 8: But it is a weird it's a weird dilemma because like, like,
- 51:42Speaker 8: I like fishing a lot, But what's the difference between
- 51:44Speaker 8: fishing and.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Well, because fish fisher dumb as hell.
- 51:48Speaker 8: Yeah, Patrice has a bit about how fish he can
- 51:50Speaker 8: kill fish because they don't have eyebrows. They don't make
- 51:53Speaker 8: a reaction.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Have you been on a big kick lately?
- 51:56Speaker 8: No, that's an old one. I saw that. That bit
- 51:59Speaker 8: was so goddamn following. That's what you get here with helmets.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I don't know if because when I
- 52:10Speaker 1: went on this safari, I thought that I would have
- 52:12Speaker 1: a very uh like fragile relationship with the death of
- 52:17Speaker 1: the bush.
- 52:18Speaker 3: But when that wouldn't bother me.
- 52:20Speaker 1: But when I saw it, I was like, okay. But
- 52:21Speaker 1: also I didn't see anything.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I didn't hear the like.
- 52:25Speaker 8: Death streams, the peels, you didn't hear any of that.
- 52:30Speaker 1: That was actually a great impression. Yeah, anyone who says
- 52:32Speaker 1: you're a bad impressionist that's never heard you do a
- 52:34Speaker 1: dying zebra.
- 52:35Speaker 3: Yeah, you didn't see the fog, the mist, last breath. Yeah,
- 52:40Speaker 3: sort of go from fear to that sweet release to
- 52:44Speaker 3: sort of you know, now you're just part of the
- 52:48Speaker 3: food site.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Yeah, the moment when they decide to stop fighting.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Yeah, they stopped fighting.
- 52:52Speaker 1: The resignation, the stillness of the eyes.
- 52:55Speaker 8: Yeah, that I don't think. I don't think animal on
- 52:57Speaker 8: animal would bother me that much. I think I could.
- 52:59Speaker 8: I don't think that woul bother me at all, to
- 53:00Speaker 8: be fully honest, because it's just like the circle of life.
- 53:03Speaker 8: I don't know if I would want to kill like well,
- 53:05Speaker 8: like I was just saying, my friend Bo is going
- 53:08Speaker 8: to uh, not my buddy, my friend, your buddy.
- 53:10Speaker 3: He's going to Bo.
- 53:13Speaker 8: And he's going big game hunting, and he was like,
- 53:15Speaker 8: I hope I can kill an elephant. And then I
- 53:18Speaker 8: was talking with my other friends behind his back, and
- 53:20Speaker 8: I was like, he's not really going to kill an elephant, right,
- 53:23Speaker 8: I was like, I was like saying to Franceport, I
- 53:25Speaker 8: feel like that feel like a mortal sin. So you
- 53:26Speaker 8: can't just go around killing elephant.
- 53:27Speaker 3: I don't know what you can kill in South Africa.
- 53:31Speaker 3: It's I don't think you in order you may be
- 53:33Speaker 3: able to kill elephants, but I think it's a you
- 53:36Speaker 3: get like they issue it. There's a lottery or you
- 53:40Speaker 3: can actually bid on tags because they need He's definitely
- 53:43Speaker 3: not killing an elephants.
- 53:45Speaker 1: If he's like super I mean, if he's going with
- 53:47Speaker 1: really like rich guys or something like that, there's like
- 53:50Speaker 1: a guy.
- 53:51Speaker 3: You have to they have to. They keep population control
- 53:54Speaker 3: over there, so like every year, a certain number of
- 53:57Speaker 3: tags are issued for rhinos, and I may maybe elephants.
- 54:02Speaker 3: I doubt elephants though, I doubt it, but elephants elephants?
- 54:06Speaker 8: What you mean point of killing an elephant?
- 54:09Speaker 3: Do you people eat elephant off, mount the head on
- 54:14Speaker 3: the wall and then make you the ivory. Maybe it's
- 54:16Speaker 3: worth a ton.
- 54:17Speaker 8: Still, Oh, man, I would maybe kill an elephant if
- 54:19Speaker 8: I could just have an elephant fucking posted up on
- 54:21Speaker 8: the wall. There the head of an elephant, the trunk
- 54:25Speaker 8: just in this backdrop, Dude, that would take this podcast
- 54:27Speaker 8: to the next level. We might have to run to
- 54:28Speaker 8: Africa and kill an elephant.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Yeah, bo, send back an elephant.
- 54:32Speaker 8: Brother, and we like rigged it up to be like
- 54:34Speaker 8: a fucking beer tap trunk.
- 54:37Speaker 1: We're doing like the elephant obviously cocaine off the tusk.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Totally.
- 54:42Speaker 8: That would be pretty cool. But I still don't think
- 54:44Speaker 8: I would kill an elephant. I don't know, killing something
- 54:46Speaker 8: that's bigger than me would feel weird. I probably want
- 54:48Speaker 8: to start a human before I went to elephant.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Really a big human.
- 54:52Speaker 8: Well to get in maybe a small yeah.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Have you there's like zebras zebra.
- 55:01Speaker 8: No, I wouldn't want to kill anything outside of maybe
- 55:03Speaker 8: a bird, or a fish, but I don't.
- 55:05Speaker 3: Even we don't. I don't even kill fish when I
- 55:06Speaker 3: got here, now I don't think so.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Really, what about a pig?
- 55:11Speaker 3: No, definitely not, definitely not kill a pig.
- 55:13Speaker 1: What about a cow?
- 55:14Speaker 3: Now I love cows, or are a pest? You shoot
- 55:18Speaker 3: him from a helicopter with an.
- 55:20Speaker 8: AR fifty Yeah, I actually have seen that. Yeah that
- 55:22Speaker 8: they sometimes they bring out the turret for that.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like, like Star Wars, I would do that.
- 55:28Speaker 3: I would do that.
- 55:29Speaker 8: That would be fun they play. I mean that would
- 55:38Speaker 8: be kind of hard to turn down.
- 55:40Speaker 3: That would be awesome. Well we could organize that. I
- 55:42Speaker 3: think Sydney's done that. That would be fucking sick.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I'd be more scared of the fucking the helicopter being
- 55:48Speaker 1: in the helicopter.
- 55:49Speaker 8: I wouldn't be scared if I was in the helicopter.
- 55:51Speaker 8: If I was strapped into a turret, they opened the
- 55:53Speaker 8: wind to the door and you obviously you shoot out
- 55:56Speaker 8: of it. Yeah, that would be And they bank over
- 55:58Speaker 8: and there's a whole family of God you don't even
- 56:01Speaker 8: hear the separation around. It's just a it's just a constant.
- 56:09Speaker 8: I think I got one.
- 56:14Speaker 3: All the shock.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Gone hurt one of them.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Look, I wrote my name in the dirt. I don't
- 56:20Speaker 3: even think I would need to kill a board to
- 56:22Speaker 3: do that.
- 56:23Speaker 8: I think I'd be fine just hanging out of a
- 56:24Speaker 8: helicopter shooting shit, but.
- 56:26Speaker 1: On the meat either though.
- 56:27Speaker 8: Doesn't Billy Football have a story about fucking going to
- 56:30Speaker 8: like Thailand or some shit.
- 56:33Speaker 1: On the original Most Games?
- 56:35Speaker 8: Yeah, and he shot a cow with an RPG and
- 56:36Speaker 8: he was like seven, and he said it was the
- 56:38Speaker 8: most like devastating thing he's ever done.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that's Cambodia where yeah, right, or Laos.
- 56:43Speaker 8: Or you pay like fifty bucks and you just load
- 56:45Speaker 8: up a rocket launcher and you shoot a cow and
- 56:47Speaker 8: the cow just.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Like explows plate neat carpaccio yeaheah.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You're like, wait, they should have another fifty Yeah, you
- 56:53Speaker 1: guys have another cow.
- 56:55Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure they're probably also a bank.
- 56:56Speaker 8: I'm assuming I'm shooting a rocket launcher with good aim
- 56:59Speaker 8: is pretty tough to do. They're probably relying on the
- 57:02Speaker 8: cow never even getting hit for like most times.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Dude. That's one thing I was impressed of in Band
- 57:06Speaker 1: of Brothers. They're like they're shooting those little rocket launchers
- 57:09Speaker 1: with expert precisions. Oh, they're just like a tiny asshole,
- 57:12Speaker 1: just like yeah, the one with the angle where you
- 57:14Speaker 1: drop it in.
- 57:16Speaker 3: You gotta go shooting. You're talking about mortars. Yeah, yeah, mortars.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I think we're talking about mortars.
- 57:20Speaker 8: We should go shooting. Sometimes I'd be down. Yeah, I
- 57:23Speaker 8: haven't shot since I was in Phoenix, But.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I feel like I have to be I feel like
- 57:26Speaker 1: I have to be okay with the death of these
- 57:30Speaker 1: animals because I'm eating I'm eating hamburgers, I'm eating chicken wings.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean. Like chickens.
- 57:36Speaker 8: I mean I could kill chicken no problem, you think so, yeah,
- 57:39Speaker 8: cut its head off.
- 57:40Speaker 3: So many chickens, dude, I don't know.
- 57:42Speaker 1: My in laws have a bunch of chickens in their backyard.
- 57:44Speaker 3: And I have chickens, do you.
- 57:45Speaker 8: Yeah, we're I've always had no Mike my families. We've
- 57:50Speaker 8: always had chickens my whole life.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Just like.
- 57:54Speaker 1: In your back bathroom, we've always had chickens.
- 57:57Speaker 3: And they get picked up by like the hawks.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Yeah, an eagle or like your dog probably wants to
- 58:01Speaker 1: kill them.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Yeah, not really.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Oh, your dog's a bitch stinky that would actually probably
- 58:06Speaker 1: kill anything else.
- 58:07Speaker 3: For some reason, but not the chickens. He's pretty good
- 58:10Speaker 3: with that.
- 58:10Speaker 1: They've got a symbiotic relationship. But one thing that I
- 58:12Speaker 1: would be okay with, though, is lab grown meat. If
- 58:17Speaker 1: you could clone steaks, I'd be okay with it.
- 58:20Speaker 3: I'd be fine with that.
- 58:21Speaker 1: But I think there's a lot of people who are like.
- 58:23Speaker 8: No, yeah, but you don't think there would be like
- 58:25Speaker 8: any fucking I feel like that would just cause cancer
- 58:27Speaker 8: at a rapid rate.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Oh, they could make it clean. This is something people
- 58:30Speaker 3: are going to come around on.
- 58:32Speaker 1: I think that hundred in two hundred, five hundred years
- 58:36Speaker 1: it was a blue pilled No, people are gonna look
- 58:39Speaker 1: back on like.
- 58:40Speaker 3: Want to eat the lab grown meat?
- 58:41Speaker 1: No, they want to eat the.
- 58:43Speaker 8: Bugs, bugs, the lab grown meat, the bugs.
- 58:45Speaker 3: He'd be the first to eat the bugs. I've had bugs. Yeah,
- 58:48Speaker 3: if you have, I've had him. I've had bugs too.
- 58:51Speaker 3: I don't mind.
- 58:51Speaker 8: I had a whole scorpion on the Most Dangerous Game Show.
- 58:53Speaker 3: I remember. I watched that. You were like a little
- 58:55Speaker 3: bitch on that.
- 58:56Speaker 8: Now the scorpion wasn't even that bad. Was like, oh yeah,
- 58:59Speaker 8: it's not fun y'all because the score.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Because I was happy not to have to eat anything
- 59:05Speaker 3: crazy on that show. I was glad I got eliminated
- 59:07Speaker 3: after I found out what the last thing was. What
- 59:08Speaker 3: was it eating?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Terrible ship? Hor horrible shit, fucking disgusting ship.
- 59:13Speaker 8: The most disgusting one was the first one, and it
- 59:16Speaker 8: was just like it wasn't even like the taste was bad.
- 59:18Speaker 8: But then watching like Vibs and Tommy drink like the
- 59:21Speaker 8: combination of bugs, I was like, oh, I could gag
- 59:24Speaker 8: right now thinking about it.
- 59:25Speaker 3: It was so ross. Do it, brother? That's not good
- 59:29Speaker 3: for the pod.
- 59:30Speaker 1: But I think that in five hundred years we could
- 59:32Speaker 1: look back on that, like killing, the killing of animals,
- 59:36Speaker 1: like the way that or culturally it could be looked
- 59:39Speaker 1: back on the way that rule, or like the way
- 59:41Speaker 1: that like slaveries look back on like that.
- 59:43Speaker 3: I can't believe he did that.
- 59:44Speaker 1: People have been eating animals since the beginning of time.
- 59:46Speaker 1: People have been enslaving people since there the beginning of time.
- 59:48Speaker 3: That's true. That's not good.
- 59:50Speaker 8: I think people are gonna look back on I was
- 59:51Speaker 8: saying this. I was watching I was watching ball Yes,
- 59:53Speaker 8: stay with my buddy Jack, and I was saying, uh,
- 59:56Speaker 8: was Bo?
- 59:56Speaker 3: There?
- 59:56Speaker 8: No Bo lives in Colorado and uh. And I was saying,
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: I think people are going to look back on football
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: in one hundred years and be like that was fucking insane.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: They'll look at it the way we look at gladiators. Yeah,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: like that's crazy that they were doing that.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Why everybody's padded, Dude.
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: There's been some I mean, it's crazy those guys get
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: fucking we were. I was saying, yes, say I think
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: I don't think. I think if I got hit by
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: an NFL player once, I think I would die instantly.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I think my.
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: Body would just shut It wouldn't be able to comprehend
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: the level shut down.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: If I were a quarterback and I stepped up in
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: the pocket to make a big throw and I released
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: it and right as I threw it, Dak Prescott, yesterifty
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: pound lineman.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Like your ribs are exposed, planted.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Me and landed on me into the ground. From that
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: point on, I would be so scared to keep playing
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: that way.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Yes, you gotta be a tough sum bitch.
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: That's what they said about Dak Prescott history because that
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: happened to him, and he said, they said, that's got it.
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: That's the difference between good quarterbacks and bad quarterbacks as
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: he was willing to take that hit to get the
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: pass off. Yeah, a lot of quarterbacks aren't.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Is a guy's playing with no fear. I mean he
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: would have done great in Bastone.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Some of the guys got fucking you know, they got
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a little bit scared in Baston.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent. The Bulg.
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: Did you ever find out a Battle of the Bulge
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: It was not a Battle of the Bulge.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: It wasn't. You looked it up, yep, what did it say?
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: It said a lot of people mistake Battle of bas
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Stone for being a part of the Battle of the Bulge.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: It's not. They're separate.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I would that's Stone.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: No, No, none of that happened. I never found out
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: it was like the Battle of the Bulge. Oh. The
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Siege of bass Stone was an engagement in December of
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: nineteen forty four between American and German forces at the
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Belgian town of Bastone as part of the larger Battle
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: of the Bulge. There we go.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: And Patton went and saved the one hundred first. But
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: they said they didn't need to be saved.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Said they never had to be saved.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Still to this day, they said that that pussy patten. Yeah,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: they did that. They did that general dirty though I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: was reading up no or I'm sorry Tenant.
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: Dyke, Yeah, Lieutenant Dyke, because.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I read about him and he was like the fucking
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: ruined him.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Oh he's the guy who comes on the field.
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: He would know he was the one that was life.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: But but oh no, but so no at best on Uh.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: He was also like scared as fuck. He like couldn't
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: give the orders to everybody.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: And then the guy runs all the way.
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, so his name shifty Shifty is
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: the sniper.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: No, not shifty, the guy who the knew, the guy
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: they promoted.
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: That's the guy they promoted sols fucking yeah, not so,
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: but they said that too many names.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: He uh that guy also, uh, Lieutenant Dyke also served
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: in the Korean War. Yeah, he like actually was like
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: decently decorated for like uh some of his bravery during
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: World War Two and then like he was in the
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: CIA later on in his life, like he lived a
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: relatively illustrious life. Yeah, and they just I thought he died. Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: that's also not true.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: He they did Switzerland in the eighties.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: He moved to Switzerland because he was like disgusted by
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: war after experiencing it so much.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: Remember he remember he takes Remember they take over that
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: village after the Battle of the Bulge, and they're like,
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: was it true about Dyke And they're like, yeah, I
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: thought that was nothing of them men he died.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: No, it's just that he's a pussy. Yeah, his like ancestors.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Dude, I did. I talked to him.
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: I said this exact same thing about blythe you blake
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: didn't even die. Yeah, and the whole his whole part
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: in the show is to be a coward and then
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: he dies, and then he didn't even die. In real life,
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: they got it fucked up.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Pat was also a guy who in the Korean War
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: did some pretty bad ship.
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: Yeah, like what, well he knows, never mind.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: He he kind of went out on his own and
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: disobeyed Harry Truman's orders and then I went to the
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: press and complained about the president. It's a long story,
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: but got plenty of time. He was beloved for the
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: fact that he did the the they made the maneuver
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: to have them come up up the coast of Korea
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: and then intercept the the army.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I fucking love history.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: But from that point on he kind of like went
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: on on his own and just did whatever he wanted.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: You ever watched the movie Paton?
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: No, you know what movie looks good? Is that Napoleon movie? Yes,
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: that looks super good.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: My grandfather was Patten's flag lieutenant. No way, really, Yeah,
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: so with my grandfather, that's not true. There's only one.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: He was the second flag lieutenant. That's fine. So he
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: was my grandfather's flag lud exactly.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: So he was underlink to Francis.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: If he had worked a little harder.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: We should take a break from this podcast and all
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: join up for like four years and then come back
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: and it would be like the best podcast on earth.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: Yeah, we'd all be doing just fine. Yeah.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: No, me and Francis would be like commanding officers. You'd
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: be like close, you'd be grunted. Yet, he just said
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: that as soon as he went into the military enlistment officer,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: like you got to go down the hallway because you're
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: a college graduate, you're going to be an officer. You
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: not a college graduate, would be drawn on the front line. Yeah,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: a vote fucking dead right away.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: You'd be enlisted but not educated boys. Yep, that's right.
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: That's who I mean. They They shouldn't be in the
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: fucking they shouldn't be on the front lines. Should be
- 1:05:09Speaker 8: you boys on the front lines, their college eddicated. Just
- 1:05:11Speaker 8: wos to be so smart.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: You can't afford to lose us, can't.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: We need to be in the office with the snacks
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: in the air conditioning, drawing up them, drawing.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Up the planet, the snacks, just like the generals eating goldfish,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: getting ready.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: For kind bars. I would kill it in the military.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Crumply asked, nature valley bars. Battle starts when the fucking
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: nature valley bursts all over you.
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: The fuck Francis would be getting a shipment of croissants
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: every single week.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Hair dropped from the sky.
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: And then and then those are Commanding Officer Ellis's crossants.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: And then hair Ball would come in to rat on
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: the other, uh like enlisted guys, and I would hand
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: them a bag of skittles this payment. What would I say,
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: I don't even know what to be ratting out. You'd
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: be like it says he doesn't think you've got the guts,
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: says we need to move across the valley.
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: It would definitely Berez says, there's no chance you're gonna
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: pull this off. Yeah, CEO, friend, c Ellis, I just.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Sit back and I don't you know, I don't engage.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: But Suarez he's got a lot of people behind him.
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: But would you be fine with the fact that the
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: CEO is getting his like we're gonna be ship talking
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: you constantly?
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: He would execute Suarez? No, he would come out with
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: a paintball gun from fucking short range.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: No. I mean, listen, this is exactly why I hire you.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: To make sure you sit and watch the conversations, let
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: me know if anything is being said negatively run up
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: the flagpole. Despite the fact that I've achieved an incredible
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: and illustrious career and have everything my heart desires.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But that's how you get I've got my own I've
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: got my own office. Fuck, that's how you become a
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: CEO someday.
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: You know who really sucks in Band of Brothers? Have
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: you finished it now?
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I'm on episode seven?
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: It is uh Tom Hanks's son and yet call it?
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't met him yet.
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: Oh he sucks.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Stop bro, I loved Orange County.
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: He's a West Point boy in the show.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: There you have it.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: Do you know that Chad Hanks is in Your Honor?
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: No, but I know he's in Curby Your Enthusiasm.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Yes, he's preposterous in Your Honor.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: That show sucked by the way you like it. It
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: was fucking crazy. I mean, it's just so mellow dramatic.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: It's like, let's create a love triangle here, and then
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: let's add let's connect the tip of that to this thing,
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: and then it's like, Yo, how did how did Brian
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Cranston go from Malcolm in the Middle to breaking bad
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: playing Lyndon Baines Johnson on Broadway and then making a
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: biopic about him to then taking on a roll. It
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: to me is like was a little under it.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Do you remember six episodes into Your Honor when like
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: people are just randomly start wearing masks. Yeah, it was
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: like it happens, but like it like softly happens in
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: the show, like they don't actually talk about it, but dudes,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: just like people like the whole courtroom's just suddenly wearing masks.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: I saw that. I remember that.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Do you remember in twenty nineteen when a it was
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: at like it looked like it was at like a
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: fucking picnic and there was like a group of white
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: people that like got on their knees in front of
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: black people.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: And like, I just saw that video the other day.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Oh dude, it's crazy. Have you seen this video?
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Apologize?
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: It's like it's like a it's like probably like ten
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: black people and like thirty white dudes and women, and
- 1:08:29Speaker 8: they're all sitting on their knees like crying as the
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: black people just like stand with their arms crossed like
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: looking down on them. I've never seen like ten more minutes.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: It's so funny and like there's like a.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Black I mean, I can't even watch back my old comedy,
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: so that's how can I watch myself? You know it?
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: It is hilarious. Ude.
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: Twenty twenty was fucking nuts.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: It was so funny even just scrolling back on just
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: random people's instagrams for like the way that they were
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: posting like just filming protests going on out they're like
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: businesses and being like m m yeah, yeap that this
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: is what we're doing. It's like, dude, you're not even
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: in the protest with them, but you're like pridefully. It
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: was just such a fucking funny ass time. It was
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: very hard not to get caught it.
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: Like the day I got hired, at Barstool was when
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: the Black Square thing came out, and I was like,
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: and Gas was like, you can pulled off on announcing
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: anything if you want, because it was like the whole
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: timeline was just like fundraisers for Black Lives Matter, like
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: all this ship and then I'm supposed to cap all
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: the timeline and be like.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Hey, guys, big news. I just got hired at Barstool Sports.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: It was Invisible Square.
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: I waited like two weeks to say that I was
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: working there.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: Zoom in for a surprise. Did you guy supposed to
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Black Square? No? I didn't know. I didn't. I took
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: a video of Godfrey roasting me and posted that.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Really, yeah, that's how least content.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: I was just like, this is my world, this is
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: what I experienced, And.
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: I definitely was posting links and ship though trying to
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: be a hero. You were, That's kind of how I
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: was at that point in my life.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: People are like, thank fucking God, Sass's god.
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: One white man will step up.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: And then it and that's that's what settled everything.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: Well, I mean clearly that whole movement really flipped the
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: whole table, because you know, I got pulled over this morning. Yeah. True,
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: for nothing our dynamics because I was born this way
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: out of whack. Yeah, it's because I look a certain way.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Because you were born into a tesla. Yeah, the incubator
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: of a tesla.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Who's the tesla?
- 1:10:39Speaker 8: The tesla chooses you. You can't help it.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Well, he probably he honestly probably wound up giving you
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: the ticket because you said it was a twenty three.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Yeah true, I what because you said it was a
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: twenty three, not at eighteen.
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: This is twenty three fresh out of the lot.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: You have to write you up.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: You're falsifying a report to an officer.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Or he's like this kid afforded he just bought a
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: brand new tesla. It wasn't a new. I bought it used.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: You know you're upstreating twenty eighteen to twenty eighteen.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: You're gonna have that fucking that steering wheel that's like
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: two handles. I know if you had that, you would
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: have been in prison right now. I know you would
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: have been calling me being like, not gonna be able
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: to make it.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Should we go? Should we go to the court and
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: contest it?
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: Should we do a live stream from the court they
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: have internet? We could I'll represent you like a like
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: Bertram Kates. I'll be like a like a thirties like lawyer,
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: your honor.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: The man is my client. They let me detail why
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: if not?
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: Man, ladies and gentlemen of the jewelry, I ask you,
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: Commanding Officer Ellis, step to the stage. What is speedy
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: pursuit of the future in acceleration?
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Let me see that thing, Rip it up, light it
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: on fire. I listened to a podcast this week.
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: That's what podcasting is all about. Talking about other podcasts.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Well, so I shouldn't every podcast I have learned about
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the legalization of drugs in Oregon. I learned about the
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: legalization of drugs in organ How they legalize.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they're there. They've made that.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: They made it legal two years ago. So it's like
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: you can be in possession of it. You can smoke
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: meth in front of a police officer and all he
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: can do is give you a citation. And they're starting
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to regret it because it's like corrosive to everything that
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: they're trying to do. And some people will get a
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: citation like this and they'll roll it up in front
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: of the officer and smoke it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: They'll light it on fire.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: And inhale it in front of the officer. And I
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: just think that it is very interesting to see the
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: repercussion because in theory, you're like, oh, drugs are a
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: public health thing, addiction is public health, but then in practice,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: like there is no way to treat it as a
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: public health thing, at least in their experience in the
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: last two years.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: In organ Yeah, I mean it wasn't the theory always
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: that if you decriminalized to a certain extent, that would
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: mean you could create better systems of like clean needle centers.
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: And I think it's also supposed to bring down crime
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: as make.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: It, make it happen less in the shadows, and then
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: there you could you could have narcan narcan for people
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: and like actually help people with overdoses and stuff.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Yeah, my mom sent me a like, uh like ads
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: for like narcan and like what what is the other one?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Like She's like, just in case you guys ever need this.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck do you think I'm doing?
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: What do you think my lifestyle is?
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Pinal test strips? Do you ever get those?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I did use those one time.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: That seems smart.
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: Whether you use those within the last seventy two hours
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: that's the problem talking about what would I need narc
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: and for.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: I did. For the fucking hard drugs that you're doing.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: I did.
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: You're popping oxy's on the regular.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: No, I saw that, But I was telling you guys
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: before I saw the uh this report that uh weed
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: is like it. Uh yeah, it's like excel or like
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: there's a higher percentage chance of heart disease. So I
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: tried to avoid it, wound up not doing a great
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: job of it. But for the last couple of days
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I have been avoiding it, and it's just fucking boring,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: is all it is. It's not like that hard to do,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: but it's just fucking boring, and it has me just
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: seeking out. So I'm like doing whim Hoff being like
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: and let me just like do something. Or I was
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: like buying ice from fucking dumbbo market and making ice
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: bass for myself and ship just to just to feel
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: alive a little bit.
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: Playing video games.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: You're talking like they're going to replace.
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: That addiction with another addiction. That's I mean, the video
- 1:14:58Speaker 8: game addiction is kind of like genetic thing. I think
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: I think you got to be born with it. But dude,
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: I I played so Fortnite redown. They came back with
- 1:15:07Speaker 8: like the og Fortnite maps, the old settings, so people
- 1:15:10Speaker 8: like it's like I think it was like last Sunday,
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: it was like four million people were playing it at
- 1:15:14Speaker 8: once currently and.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: I played on.
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: Tuesday, and then just as soon as I got back
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: into video games, it was like the like stop drinking.
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: I was like going home right after my sets, being
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: like I gotta go home and play video games. Sorry guys, Yeah, dude,
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: it's you replaced one thing with the other, and I
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: think video games are way healthier than drinking twenty beers
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: a night.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: When you play this many video games when you're going
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: to sleep at night, are you seeing yes your head
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: see that? Yeah? See I don't like that. Yeah, I
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: don't like it either. It's that when I chess. Yeah,
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: it's a bad see like toward or Mario Kart. I've
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: seen this happen to you.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Wait, so you're saying that you have PTSD for the
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: video games.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Not PTSD. It's just it's as if the board is
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: or the map or whatever is. It's kind of burned
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: into my brain when you uh, when I used to
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: see it flitting around my head.
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: Yeah, I had it bad on a Friday night. Friday night,
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: I was in a dark place because Friday, I played
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: video games the whole day, like the whole day, and
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: then I left to go to the stand and I
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: hadn't like, I hadn't been outside, I hadn't seen the sun.
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: And I was walking to the stand and there was
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: a lot of huffing and puffing coming from me. I thought,
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: it's just deep size, why just like just because, dude.
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: It was just like when you play for that long,
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: it becomes more just like a chore. But you're like, well,
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: if I turn it off, I'm gonna regret turning it off,
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: and then I'm gonna have nothing to do, so you
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: kind of stick it out. You usually end up playing
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: for like an hour too long, and that last hour
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: really takes a toll on the mental health. And then
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: you're walking around you're like while you're playing, you know,
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: well while you're playing, and then after you get off
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: and you're like, I should not have played for that long.
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: That was just pointless.
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: How many hours do you play for? Uh, dude?
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: Friday, I played for I probably played for like three
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: hours four hours before the standard. Then I probably played
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: for another three after god damn. Yeah, just at night
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: until the sun comes up.
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's when it's fun.
- 1:17:17Speaker 8: So you need narcan Yeah, but I don't know.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: I enjoy it. So who cares?
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Right? Just having to do having again? I shot that chest.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: That's always the right answer. Who cares? Could be doing
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: worse thing?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Sound like the boys out in Oregon smoking up the citations.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Well no, that's the thing.
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: Like I could be fucking getting ship faced, but instead
- 1:17:38Speaker 8: I'm not said up.
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: My brain is some sharper than ever.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: You're rotting your brain days no beer by jumping twisted towers.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: I haven't even had the urge to drink a beer.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I I had nightmares last night.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, that's because weed does that to people.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I had like old fashioned nightmares where like something was
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: chasing me.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: Everyone that I know that smokes weed, the amount that
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: you smoke weed, they stop smoking weed for one day
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: and then they go into like a mental psychosis.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I mean, I think I'm pretty fine outside of that.
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: They'll see, give it a couple more days. You just
- 1:18:08Speaker 8: said for one day you're gonna be You're gonna be
- 1:18:09Speaker 8: sleepwalking into Francis apartment in.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: The middle of the night. Yeah, and you know what,
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: I'd welcome him.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: With resin bulls at four a leg old joint.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, we get right back on the wagon.
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: There have you been having trouble falling asleep?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: I couldn't sleep last night.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: Oh dude, you're a mess.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: No, but I mean I'm gonna go back to smoking tomorrow.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but it's just like, uh, it's just like
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: okay that it wasn't hard to not do.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: It was just boring. Yeah, yeah, that's been son of
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: a boy. Dad.
- 1:18:36Speaker 8: Uh right, here are we? Oh we can if you want.
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: Oh no, it's up to you. Well you kind of.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: Took charge inside to call it quits. Oh sometimes I
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: jumped the gun. I was we were mid combo. No, sorry, no,
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: forgive me keep we can notice the camera.
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: The camera's gonna have a bunch of technical problems anyway
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: if we keep going and we've been going for an
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: hour twenty.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: Oh fuck, yeah, we're good.
