- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Today we have the star of the show, Ashley, with
- 0:13Speaker 3: us breaking down all the headlines happening in Bachelor Nation. Ashley,
- 0:18Speaker 3: you got to be exhausted. All these episodes are popping out.
- 0:21Speaker 3: For real housewives Rhode Island, you probably can't even leave
- 0:24Speaker 3: your house without paparazzi at this point.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You're a star.
- 0:30Speaker 4: I'm not sorry to be honest. Life has felt a
- 0:32Speaker 4: lot more normal than I expected because everybody talks about
- 0:38Speaker 4: the Bravo fandom. And I know it's early, so like
- 0:40Speaker 4: knock on massive amounts of wood, but everybody talks about
- 0:43Speaker 4: the Bravo fandom like coming out and just being so vocal,
- 0:48Speaker 4: And part of it is because, like I am not
- 0:53Speaker 4: a I'm not surrounded by drama on the show, so
- 0:56Speaker 4: I'm not getting like a ton of tweets or common
- 1:00Speaker 4: on Instagram that are not from like the people who've
- 1:02Speaker 4: already followed me in the past. Yeah, I feel like
- 1:06Speaker 4: this week was so fun but not like wild, going
- 1:10Speaker 4: onto the Today Show again and stuff like that. I've
- 1:12Speaker 4: never been on the Today's Show, but I've been on
- 1:14Speaker 4: good Morning America a couple times, and then doing Watch
- 1:17Speaker 4: What Happens Live? That stuff was wild so cool. I
- 1:20Speaker 4: told Andy Cohen that, like being on Watch What Happens Live,
- 1:24Speaker 4: being on that set was one of the most, if
- 1:27Speaker 4: not the most surreal talk shows I've ever been on,
- 1:30Speaker 4: because there's something about the set. You're not like a
- 1:33Speaker 4: Bravo guy, and like I haven't really followed on any
- 1:35Speaker 4: shows either, but yeah, when Andy gets a celebrity in
- 1:40Speaker 4: that chair, they like talk about things that they won't
- 1:44Speaker 4: talk about on The Today Show and Good Morning America,
- 1:46Speaker 4: it's always a little bit more sealacious. So those viral
- 1:48Speaker 4: clips are will always like you know, they get He
- 1:51Speaker 4: gets a lot of viral moments on that set, so
- 1:54Speaker 4: that felt very cool. It was a great time. I
- 1:56Speaker 4: loved doing press like No Shame? Do you like jing
- 1:59Speaker 4: Like when you go out out there, did you get
- 2:01Speaker 4: like a little jarlin boost?
- 2:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, definitely.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Especially the Today Show is wild because it's not fancy.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I mean the set is very nice, right, but like
- 2:13Speaker 3: the holding room is just like a big square room
- 2:17Speaker 3: with like a booth. Yeah, it's like it's not fancy,
- 2:21Speaker 3: and then you're like sitting in there and all of
- 2:23Speaker 3: a sudden, like I've been in there with some wild
- 2:25Speaker 3: people like Megan Fox and Jennifer.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Lopez that is truly wid but.
- 2:30Speaker 3: They get their own room. It's like a hierarchy of like, hey,
- 2:33Speaker 3: how big a deal are you actually? But it is
- 2:35Speaker 3: so fun I get it and you crush it. You're
- 2:38Speaker 3: doing great. I'm really proud of you. It's wild watching
- 2:41Speaker 3: the show. I cannot believe that you've got me to
- 2:43Speaker 3: watch in detail.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Not even like no, not even in passing. I feel
- 2:48Speaker 4: like you have been sitting down and truly paying attention
- 2:51Speaker 4: to the episode. It's based on what Lauren has told me. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 4: and it brings me great joy to imagine Ben Higgins's
- 2:59Speaker 4: investing himself in an hour in the Real Housewives. It's
- 3:02Speaker 4: so funny. And I just want to thank everybody out
- 3:05Speaker 4: there that listens to this podcast that watched this week.
- 3:08Speaker 4: It's so sweet of you. Thanks for the support. You
- 3:11Speaker 4: guys have been so nice to me on social media.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Is the show doing well?
- 3:14Speaker 4: We know it continues well. It's number two on Peacock,
- 3:17Speaker 4: so I'm not like they I don't know numbers and such.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Number two following I think it was Beverly Hills Real
- 3:23Speaker 4: Housewives Beverly Hills. But like, also The Office is up
- 3:27Speaker 4: there as like the top five on Peacock because like
- 3:32Speaker 4: everybody's always streaming The Office, like everybody has thats their
- 3:35Speaker 4: comfort show with the background. So it's really kind of
- 3:37Speaker 4: hard to tell. And our producer, who knows things more
- 3:40Speaker 4: than me, says that Brava doesn't go by numbers, but
- 3:42Speaker 4: to be number two, it's amazing.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So okayay, yay, you already dive into Bachelor news.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I am, yes, I am. I have some thoughts.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Okay, First off, Ashley, I know we're getting out of
- 3:56Speaker 3: the holiday season. I'm a little sick right now, so
- 3:57Speaker 3: if I send a little stuffy, just bear with me.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I'm doing my best. I was so excited for a nice,
- 4:05Speaker 3: relaxing Easter weekend, but instead I'm not feeling great. My
- 4:11Speaker 3: nose is still broken.
- 4:13Speaker 4: It won't now you have a cold with your broken nose.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's a wild mix right now.
- 4:18Speaker 4: So how's that feeling? You have some deviated sceptum going on?
- 4:23Speaker 3: I think I do. Yeah, I think I'm a little
- 4:25Speaker 3: bit of a mess. There's a lot happening on my
- 4:28Speaker 3: upper lobe that is not ideal for me. So I
- 4:33Speaker 3: spent most of the weekend surviving, I would say more
- 4:37Speaker 3: than thriving.
- 4:38Speaker 4: So sorry, but.
- 4:39Speaker 3: We celebrated, you know, Easter, and we still got to
- 4:43Speaker 3: do it. I just I feel bad because Jessica had
- 4:46Speaker 3: huge plans for Easter and I just wasn't like I
- 4:49Speaker 3: felt like I did it, but I didn't bring anything
- 4:53Speaker 3: to it.
- 4:54Speaker 2: If that makes sense.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yeah, did when you have a cute little Easter dress
- 4:58Speaker 4: and did you find eggs?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, she uh. I'll tell you this story.
- 5:03Speaker 3: So we we had a big Easter egg hunt at
- 5:06Speaker 3: her little school, and.
- 5:09Speaker 2: We trained her.
- 5:10Speaker 3: We had eggs hit around the house and and we
- 5:15Speaker 3: we gave her her basket and she would go around
- 5:17Speaker 3: and find these eggs and she was crushing it. And
- 5:19Speaker 3: in fact, I was like, jess we might want to
- 5:22Speaker 3: step back a little bitter. She's going to dominate this
- 5:24Speaker 3: egg hunt with her like peers, and so we're so excited.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's the cutest thing. We show up to her school
- 5:30Speaker 3: that all the kids are there, they like march them
- 5:32Speaker 3: out in this like long line with the parents and
- 5:34Speaker 3: all the kids are like, you know, doing the like
- 5:37Speaker 3: little kid walk out to this playground where the kids are.
- 5:40Speaker 3: It's so cute. I'm like I told Jess, I was like,
- 5:42Speaker 3: I can't be here, I'm gonna ball, like it's so sweet.
- 5:46Speaker 3: And it was the funniest thing. They opened up the
- 5:49Speaker 3: gate and they had a freaking bubble machine going, and
- 5:53Speaker 3: all of a sudden, when he turns looks at the bubbles,
- 5:56Speaker 3: she and goes bubbles and just stands and watches the
- 5:59Speaker 3: bubble for the next fifteen minutes, says the egg hunts
- 6:02Speaker 3: going on.
- 6:04Speaker 4: The image of you bawling as like the siren goes off,
- 6:08Speaker 4: like the whistle going like go kids charge and then
- 6:12Speaker 4: you just breaking down. So funny, I can see it.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yeah, she's just doing the like little like Frankenstein walk,
- 6:18Speaker 3: and then she sees the bubbles. It's like a minion
- 6:21Speaker 3: like bubbles bubbles, and she found one egg with the
- 6:25Speaker 3: assistance of her dad, who was like, fun, come on,
- 6:28Speaker 3: Whenny get in there. Yeah, it was super fun. We
- 6:33Speaker 3: had a good time.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Oh so cute. So happy for you guys. Alrighty, so
- 6:38Speaker 4: let's dive into some bachelor headlines. First up, Ben, you
- 6:43Speaker 4: go for it.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Rachel Rekia dresses harsh criticism about her appearance. Actually I
- 6:49Speaker 3: saw this headline I haven't dove into it too much
- 6:53Speaker 3: because it kind of feels like one of those It's like,
- 6:55Speaker 3: this is ridiculous, Rachel's beautiful, Why is this a headline?
- 6:58Speaker 3: But the more more and more I learned this is
- 7:01Speaker 3: something like really affecting her in a way, like this
- 7:04Speaker 3: is this is a thing. This isn't like a passing comment.
- 7:08Speaker 3: She feels like people are being really harsh.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Yeah, Rachel is so beautiful and I love her look
- 7:14Speaker 4: right now people have been telling her like She says
- 7:17Speaker 4: that every time she gets a post. She said that
- 7:20Speaker 4: she's normally pretty okay that people are talking about her online,
- 7:24Speaker 4: but she said that she feels like recently things have
- 7:26Speaker 4: gotten really really bad. She was whenever I post, a
- 7:28Speaker 4: majority of the comments are like I don't look like myself,
- 7:31Speaker 4: or I don't look good, or I look sick. And
- 7:33Speaker 4: I was so much more beautiful back then. I understand
- 7:36Speaker 4: that I look different from the first time that everybody
- 7:38Speaker 4: saw me. I've been very open and transparent about like
- 7:41Speaker 4: the filler and botox I've had. I would do anything
- 7:44Speaker 4: to be twenty five and look that way again. Another
- 7:47Speaker 4: thing is I really wanted to touch on as my
- 7:50Speaker 4: weight fluctuation that I've had throughout the years. She said
- 7:53Speaker 4: that she got really sick before filming Perfect Match. She
- 7:56Speaker 4: even needed a pick line in her arm, which ended
- 7:59Speaker 4: up and having her lose weight. She said, because of that,
- 8:03Speaker 4: I got to the smallest way I've ever been. Right
- 8:06Speaker 4: after I got that pickline out of my arm, I
- 8:08Speaker 4: went to film the show and I went down. I
- 8:10Speaker 4: lost even more weight. And when you go on, ah.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Cause you there, though, ye do we know what the
- 8:16Speaker 2: pickline was for.
- 8:17Speaker 4: She does not talk about what she had when she
- 8:21Speaker 4: was sick, so she goes, when you go and you're
- 8:24Speaker 4: on a show, the main thing people are telling you
- 8:26Speaker 4: is like how big I was when I was on
- 8:31Speaker 4: the Bachelorette. So people are like saying like, oh wow,
- 8:33Speaker 4: like you've lost so much. I am just assuming that.
- 8:36Speaker 4: People were like, you've lost so much weight since the Bachelorette,
- 8:39Speaker 4: and then you see yourself at a different weight and
- 8:41Speaker 4: it's hard to let yourself gain weight after that. That
- 8:44Speaker 4: sounds like she's had, you know, obviously body image issue
- 8:47Speaker 4: since being on TV, and she said, I definitely struggled
- 8:50Speaker 4: with my body image since. So yes, I was right,
- 8:53Speaker 4: and it's something that I'm working on. She said, that
- 8:57Speaker 4: you see my face right now, slim down. There's so
- 9:00Speaker 4: much going on in the reality TV space of women
- 9:02Speaker 4: and women coming and coming after women and coming after
- 9:05Speaker 4: how they look and coming after what they're doing. And
- 9:09Speaker 4: she just said that she's been struggling with this, and
- 9:11Speaker 4: I have to say that, like, I just want her
- 9:12Speaker 4: to be happy and healthy, and I think that she's
- 9:16Speaker 4: always beautiful, Like she's like so beautiful inside. And now
- 9:20Speaker 4: I love Rachel. I know people would make fun of her,
- 9:25Speaker 4: like eyebrows, her being lighter, and like for her kind
- 9:27Speaker 4: of going for like an Ariana Grande look, but like,
- 9:30Speaker 4: I think she looks so good in any way that
- 9:32Speaker 4: she puts herself because she's like, seriously that beautiful, Like
- 9:36Speaker 4: she just like radiates. So Rachel, you do whatever makes
- 9:40Speaker 4: you feel good and makes you, of course be physically healthy.
- 9:45Speaker 4: And we don't know exactly, you know, what was going
- 9:47Speaker 4: on with her health, but we hope that she's over
- 9:50Speaker 4: that and we hope that she can get, you know,
- 9:53Speaker 4: a better body image. It's so hard to be under
- 9:55Speaker 4: all this criticism.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Sure is.
- 10:09Speaker 3: On to kind of different news. A friend of the show,
- 10:11Speaker 3: ha Keeen Moulten, is expecting a baby.
- 10:14Speaker 4: The laugh only because a keen is silly and I
- 10:17Speaker 4: saw this reel. Go ahead, sorry, man, I cut you off.
- 10:20Speaker 3: No, you're good with girlfriend Monica and Bachelor Nation is reacting.
- 10:24Speaker 4: To this, Okay. Yesterday, when I saw his reel about
- 10:29Speaker 4: having a pregnant girlfriend, I was like, is he like
- 10:34Speaker 4: he's just referring to somebody that he doesn't know? Right,
- 10:36Speaker 4: his girlfriend? It's not pregnant.
- 10:39Speaker 3: He talked about her during this time on our show, right,
- 10:41Speaker 3: he said it like no, there was like family issues
- 10:44Speaker 3: and they had like broken up.
- 10:46Speaker 4: But then got back to yeah, her family doesn't like him,
- 10:51Speaker 4: that's what he was telling us.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 4: But when I saw this reeal, I thought that he
- 10:56Speaker 4: was like just referring to some other person's girlfriend. I
- 10:58Speaker 4: was like, his girlfriend camp possibly be pregnant. Oh, I don't.
- 11:02Speaker 4: His girlfriend is pregnant and the baby is coming in
- 11:05Speaker 4: October that soon. He's been talking about how to keep
- 11:09Speaker 4: her happy on social media. It's not a vague girlfriend.
- 11:13Speaker 4: It is his actual girlfriend.
- 11:15Speaker 2: What do you mean keep her happy?
- 11:17Speaker 4: You know, like giving her food and like how how
- 11:20Speaker 4: hard it is to you know, keep the pregnant lady
- 11:22Speaker 4: and their first trimester happy. Because we're very needy especially
- 11:26Speaker 4: during that first trimester.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Weh, that just feels like a lifetime ago. I don't
- 11:30Speaker 2: remember it.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Yeah, she showed up a positive pregnancy test just like
- 11:35Speaker 4: this week on Instagram and it was their friend sharing
- 11:40Speaker 4: news with on FaceTime with some of their friends, including
- 11:44Speaker 4: Grant and Jonathan Johnson and Brandon Jones, and they look
- 11:50Speaker 4: all completely shocked as she displays her sonogram.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Well, new life is entering into the Bachelor World. Friend
- 11:58Speaker 3: of the show, Hakeem Moult, is expecting his first child.
- 12:03Speaker 4: People thought it was a prank because he did it
- 12:05Speaker 4: on April Fool's Day.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Oh that's a terrible day to do that. What was
- 12:08Speaker 2: he doing. I guess he was.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Trying to do the ultimate April Fools thing where it's like, oh,
- 12:14Speaker 4: April Fools. I was like, oh, actually no, say I
- 12:17Speaker 4: got the Bachelor call. I got my Bachelor call on
- 12:19Speaker 4: April Fool's Day.
- 12:20Speaker 3: You don't do I don't get on social media on
- 12:22Speaker 3: April first ever.
- 12:24Speaker 4: I'm faked out by everyone's.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't do it.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I told Jess this year, I'm not getting on Instagram, Twitter,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and TikTok nothing. There will be no Instagram or there'll
- 12:33Speaker 3: be no social media on April first, and it is
- 12:35Speaker 3: actually great. I have no clue what people are lying about,
- 12:40Speaker 3: so hey, actually, I know this is a headline that
- 12:43Speaker 3: you and I both are very intrigued by.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Yeah, we may have talked about it behind the scenes.
- 12:48Speaker 3: A little bit, a lot of it. Former Bachelor producer
- 12:52Speaker 3: reveals juicy details of relationship with Peter Weber in new book.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Is a Bachelor producer that Ben and I. Well, she's
- 13:03Speaker 4: not currently, but she was on our time. She's the greatest.
- 13:08Speaker 4: We love Julie. She's so wonderful and they were really
- 13:12Speaker 4: very fun, very very sweet. So there were rumors about
- 13:17Speaker 4: her and Peter Weber. You may remember during his season
- 13:22Speaker 4: after a season, especially when they were seen out doing
- 13:24Speaker 4: all the press together. She was his main producer. So
- 13:27Speaker 4: it's not weird to us to have your main producer
- 13:31Speaker 4: being seen out with you during press. But there was
- 13:35Speaker 4: some Some people are really convinced that there is more
- 13:38Speaker 4: than just producing going on here. And in her new book,
- 13:43Speaker 4: which is called The Love Producer, she talks about this
- 13:48Speaker 4: connection that they did truly have. She says, she told
- 13:52Speaker 4: Entertainment Weekly, she's like already on a press store for
- 13:54Speaker 4: this book. It doesn't come out until July. Ben and
- 13:57Speaker 4: I have read the book we got. Did you get
- 13:59Speaker 4: a digital copy? I got? I got a hard copy.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I'm still in like the I love the books still you're.
- 14:04Speaker 2: A star and I'm not. But I got the digital copy.
- 14:07Speaker 4: No, she said, she said, what would you prefer? And
- 14:09Speaker 4: I much prefer a handheld book.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'll tell you this. It's a good read.
- 14:15Speaker 4: It's also why says this smiling guys, it's crazy. You
- 14:21Speaker 4: got to read it through it You're gonna just be
- 14:23Speaker 4: like I stayed. I texted her multiple times, being like
- 14:27Speaker 4: you are the reason that I'm up till one am.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yeah, because I can't.
- 14:31Speaker 4: I have to get through this chapter. This is so good.
- 14:36Speaker 4: So if you're a Bachelor fan and you're just like
- 14:39Speaker 4: a fan of like steaminess and rom commes, like you
- 14:43Speaker 4: gotta read this book. The love producer really will be
- 14:46Speaker 4: coming on our show in a couple months when the
- 14:50Speaker 4: book launches. And all I'll tell you is what Julie
- 14:53Speaker 4: did tell Entertainment Weekly. Sorry I missed. I missed this
- 14:55Speaker 4: quote before. Peter and I instantly connected. We felt like
- 14:59Speaker 4: in a met He felt like an immediate best friend.
- 15:01Speaker 4: My job is digging into his heart, getting him to
- 15:04Speaker 4: be vulnerable, and I was doing the same. There were
- 15:07Speaker 4: moments where I was like, Wow, I'm more open with
- 15:10Speaker 4: Peter than I was with my boyfriend of five years
- 15:12Speaker 4: at that point. There's an interesting bond that people don't see,
- 15:16Speaker 4: the intimacy with the lead producers. And it got complicated
- 15:21Speaker 4: and the lines became blurred.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Just to be clear, this doesn't happen with every lead
- 15:26Speaker 3: and the lead producer.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Maybe like a young well she wasn't single technique, Well
- 15:31Speaker 4: was she single at the time? I forget now the timeline.
- 15:35Speaker 4: I think she may have been single with Peter, but
- 15:41Speaker 4: like maybe, like you don't put like a cute single
- 15:44Speaker 4: producer with a cute single guy who's dating twenty five girls.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Who was your lead producer?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Uh?
- 15:53Speaker 3: It was Cassie Lambert for a long time, who was,
- 15:55Speaker 3: oh my god, wife, who is like from a hometown
- 15:59Speaker 3: near me. And then when she she couldn't travel because
- 16:02Speaker 3: of kids, Yeah, Lindsay Lyles stepped in.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Okay, so Lindsay also married at the time. It was
- 16:09Speaker 4: like soon after shit, her first she was pregnant with
- 16:12Speaker 4: us on Winter Games. She was like in her third
- 16:14Speaker 4: trimester during the beginning of Winter games again.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Back in the day especially, I don't know anymore as
- 16:19Speaker 3: much The Bachelor was such a well oiled machine. They
- 16:24Speaker 3: didn't make any decision without it being thought through.
- 16:29Speaker 4: So you think that they put these two together to
- 16:33Speaker 4: complicate and muddy an already emotionally Lesdpdwebber, who I love Peter,
- 16:39Speaker 4: I think like he's he's great. I love him, But
- 16:43Speaker 4: we all know that he had some problems making decisions
- 16:47Speaker 4: in his season, and I'm sure.
- 16:50Speaker 2: He wasn't thinking with his brain.
- 16:54Speaker 4: I think he had these feelings maybe for Julie was
- 16:57Speaker 4: also muddying more and more moves, maybe the moves that
- 17:01Speaker 4: he was making. I also think that it would have
- 17:04Speaker 4: been the greatest twist ever, and I know people were
- 17:06Speaker 4: wanting it to happen. If he was like, I'm not
- 17:10Speaker 4: gonna choose either of these two in the end, I'm
- 17:12Speaker 4: choosing my producer Julie good book, I'll choose you this.
- 17:17Speaker 4: She had dreams that this would happen.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It's a wild read. Make sure you stay.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Tuned for the book's release, and I are straight giddy.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I had no clue what I was opening up
- 17:29Speaker 3: to read, and when I started reading it very soon
- 17:32Speaker 3: after I went, whoa, all right, and then I dove
- 17:35Speaker 3: in and did not stop. Tyler Cameron envisions having three
- 17:42Speaker 3: kids with girlfriend Tate in the next five years.
- 17:46Speaker 4: These two are so cute together.
- 17:49Speaker 2: They are, but they're not engaged yet, right.
- 17:52Speaker 4: No, that's like, Okay, every post that goes up of
- 17:54Speaker 4: Tyler Cameron and his girlfriend, I'm like, is it the
- 17:56Speaker 4: engagement post? And then every post with Michael Aley and
- 18:01Speaker 4: his girlfriend Jade, I'm like, is this the engagement post?
- 18:04Speaker 4: Is this the engagement post? Because every single post that
- 18:08Speaker 4: Michael puts up is extremely lovey dovey and about like
- 18:11Speaker 4: their family being together, you know, like a united family.
- 18:16Speaker 4: And then with Tyler, you know, Tyler and this girl
- 18:20Speaker 4: are obviously getting married. This is what he says, in
- 18:23Speaker 4: the next five years, we're married. This is him envisioning
- 18:26Speaker 4: we have a three year old, a two year old,
- 18:28Speaker 4: and a one year old. Okay, so Tyler, what's the
- 18:31Speaker 4: aga happening?
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:33Speaker 4: No, he said, maybe we have a three year old
- 18:35Speaker 4: and a one year old. Yeah, yeah, that's probably more accurate.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Maybe a three year old and a one and a
- 18:40Speaker 4: half year old. You know, he continued with more aspirations
- 18:46Speaker 4: for him and Tate. He goes, I don't know where
- 18:48Speaker 4: we're living. I would like to say it's where we're
- 18:51Speaker 4: living right now. I really love where we live. I
- 18:53Speaker 4: love the area. In three to five years, I hope
- 18:56Speaker 4: we have our own HGTV type show and red being
- 19:00Speaker 4: homes together and we're on TV doing stuff. And she
- 19:03Speaker 4: said they were saying that, like maybe that would be
- 19:05Speaker 4: difficult with kids. I actually think that that would be
- 19:08Speaker 4: a really cute projection for them to be very much.
- 19:12Speaker 4: What their names, you know, the couple, the HGTV couple,
- 19:17Speaker 4: Chip and Joanna, Chip and Joanna, they give you the
- 19:20Speaker 4: next Ship and Joanna.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, No, I mean I think it's a I
- 19:24Speaker 3: mean they're both talented at it. They're both big personalities.
- 19:27Speaker 3: There's great. I'd say, have as many kids as you
- 19:30Speaker 3: can possibly have.
- 19:31Speaker 2: That's awesome. Kids, they're great.
- 19:32Speaker 4: But you're saying to start trying and you need to
- 19:37Speaker 4: have one before you could really decide how many you want.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say, like, just test the waters a
- 19:42Speaker 3: little bit and then decide. I would say, great, I
- 19:44Speaker 3: loved it. And but if you told me I'm going
- 19:46Speaker 3: to have like five kids, I'd be like that sounds wild.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I don't know, just once four, So you guys better
- 19:52Speaker 4: get on it now too. That's the nice thing about
- 19:55Speaker 4: marrying somebody younger than you so many years.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I don't feel the stress. Pretty great. Actually, I only
- 20:13Speaker 3: got tricked. I guess we were just told. I had
- 20:16Speaker 3: no clue I was even tricked. I thought I was
- 20:18Speaker 3: really good on April first, but I guess I got tricked.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I thought Katie Thurston was announcing she was going on traders,
- 20:23Speaker 3: and I thought it was a real thing. It makes sense,
- 20:26Speaker 3: but supposedly that's a joke.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Yeah, that was an April Fols joke. I also wrote
- 20:30Speaker 4: underneath her thing yes yeah, and then immediately, not immediately,
- 20:37Speaker 4: a few minutes later, I was like, oh, go delete that.
- 20:41Speaker 4: That's embarrassing. That's April Fols.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Wait, how did you know it was April Fools. I
- 20:45Speaker 3: just found out ten minutes ago.
- 20:46Speaker 4: I think I saw the comments. Also, I'm always faked
- 20:53Speaker 4: out by Becca Martinez. Becca Martinez. I love her Instagram.
- 20:58Speaker 4: She always does great April Fools. For some reason, she
- 21:00Speaker 4: always gets us. She did one she pretended like she
- 21:05Speaker 4: had a sponsorship with McDonald's. She goes pinch me hashtag
- 21:10Speaker 4: McDonald's partners partner hashtag mcbuns. I've worked with a lot
- 21:16Speaker 4: of brands, but nothing has quite hit like this, And
- 21:19Speaker 4: I was like, oh, I love the authenticity going into
- 21:22Speaker 4: this ad. I wouldn't feel the same way partnering up
- 21:24Speaker 4: with McDonald's. And it's a picture of her kids holding
- 21:29Speaker 4: a bunny and then holding McDonald's and then says introducing
- 21:34Speaker 4: McDonald's first ever limited edition fried rabbit Sandwich to the mcbuns. Yep,
- 21:40Speaker 4: you read that right. Crispy, succulent and layered with garlic,
- 21:43Speaker 4: COOLi on sour dough. It's a bold twist on your
- 21:47Speaker 4: favorite Golden Arches classics available through May first while supplies last.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Like everything was totally written like an ad. And at
- 21:56Speaker 4: the end she even has like offer valid exclusively and
- 21:59Speaker 4: participate any locations. So I don't know if you know,
- 22:04Speaker 4: but Becca like raises bunnies and then she eats them. Uh,
- 22:10Speaker 4: and she's had like this kind It's it's kind of
- 22:13Speaker 4: controversial obviously on in her Instagram and she's just so
- 22:16Speaker 4: outspoken about it and just like doesn't give it up.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Where Like.
- 22:22Speaker 5: I really don't know where I stand with this. I
- 22:24Speaker 5: don't think I'm a fan, but it's interesting to tell
- 22:28Speaker 5: you about this, what she what she does with these bunnies.
- 22:31Speaker 5: So she has her children like create these relationships with
- 22:34Speaker 5: the bunnies and then they they kill them and then
- 22:38Speaker 5: they eat them. And like, I feel like you've kind
- 22:42Speaker 5: of had that child.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I was gonna say, it's not I mean, I'm like yeah.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and like and you know, you have problems. So
- 22:53Speaker 4: people like will argue with her about the appropriateness of this,
- 22:57Speaker 4: and I want, I would love to know your take
- 22:59Speaker 4: on that.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Death is a part of our life.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I think it's so much more admirable to feed yourself
- 23:08Speaker 3: and those around you when you've made the kill than
- 23:11Speaker 3: going to a grocery store and buying it. There's something
- 23:15Speaker 3: this is her argument. Yeah, there's something sacred, there's something sad,
- 23:20Speaker 3: there's something difficult about taking the life of something else.
- 23:24Speaker 3: And so I have I'll be I'll say it like this.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I have a lot.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I mean, I don't like go out and kill the
- 23:29Speaker 3: food for my family any like at all. I'm I'm
- 23:33Speaker 3: not like, I don't know doing that, But there is
- 23:38Speaker 3: something very respectful about somebody who is willing to take
- 23:43Speaker 3: the life of an animal to feed. I want to
- 23:45Speaker 3: be clear to feed those around them. So it's not fun. Yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 3: I mean, I think it's uncomfortable and it should be.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Think about being the person that does it. But also, Ashley,
- 23:59Speaker 3: think about being the person in the warehouse, in the
- 24:03Speaker 3: slaughterhouse that's killing thousands of animals every day and packaging
- 24:08Speaker 3: it up and sitting in there. So, like somebody's gonna
- 24:10Speaker 3: do it, you're either gonna do it in a humane way,
- 24:13Speaker 3: in a way that cares and loves, or you're gonna
- 24:15Speaker 3: do it in a way that's like an assembly line.
- 24:17Speaker 4: You know, you're so right. You're so right.
- 24:21Speaker 3: And I do think it's helpful for kids to understand
- 24:24Speaker 3: the food train well, the sadness that comes with death,
- 24:28Speaker 3: Like it's sad.
- 24:29Speaker 4: You See, if I was a kid, I think I
- 24:32Speaker 4: would just become a vegetarian. I think this would be
- 24:35Speaker 4: my route and becoming a vegetarian. Anyway, that's all the
- 24:39Speaker 4: headlines we have for you this week.
- 24:41Speaker 2: What a wild conversation. We'll be back soon.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Twisted turns of this one. We love you guys. Until then,
