- 0:01Speaker 1: Man, we're live. What's up everybody. It's Beard Laws Podcast
- 0:04Speaker 1: episode number thirty seven, and this is gonna be one
- 0:07Speaker 1: heck of a show. We already got people commenting carries
- 0:10Speaker 1: here and we are waiting. Well, you know, now, you
- 0:13Speaker 1: know how lets gentlemen think when we're always waiting on
- 0:15Speaker 1: you ladies for everything. That's right, shots fire, let's go.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I was going, all right, it's Logan's fault. He was
- 0:22Speaker 1: late again, surprise, surprise. But anyways, he's here. Let's just
- 0:26Speaker 1: get into this. We have an exciting episode. You guys
- 0:28Speaker 1: already know bites with Buddies backstage, gorks boys, barbecues backstage,
- 0:32Speaker 1: Clint's backstage, and we have Tyler from Woolly Wizard who
- 0:36Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about. He's gonna be the opener and
- 0:38Speaker 1: we're super excited for it. So let's hit you guys
- 0:40Speaker 1: with the intro. We're gonna get right into this. I'm
- 0:43Speaker 1: gonna do it. I just gotta do this. Oh okay,
- 0:45Speaker 1: yeah it see I just pressed the wrong button. Look
- 1:05Speaker 1: at this. I got everybody in here. You got this,
- 1:07Speaker 1: We got this. CT's in the house, Chunky Gang, Dadpool,
- 1:11Speaker 1: what's up, Logan? Where are your muscles?
- 1:13Speaker 2: Underneath the sweatshirhared, Meg's in the house, got fence here,
- 1:20Speaker 2: Chris is here, this beard is here, and I'm super excited.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Like we talked about, We're gonna get right into this.
- 1:26Speaker 1: We have Tyler from Wooly Wizard Company from London, Ontario area.
- 1:32Speaker 1: That's Canada for all you people that don't know where
- 1:34Speaker 1: that is, sorry for you. So we're just gonna bring
- 1:37Speaker 1: him in. He's got a wonderful beard. So ladies, prepare yourself.
- 1:40Speaker 1: It's a ginger beard. What's happened? Hey, if the going
- 1:48Speaker 1: it's good, it's good man, it's good. So first off,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I want to thank you for taking time to be
- 1:53Speaker 1: on the show and be the beard segment that we
- 1:55Speaker 1: do every other week. And we're excited to have you.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And the best part is you send us a couple
- 2:01Speaker 1: of samples and this is the Cherry kool Aid scent
- 2:06Speaker 1: and this is the Woodsman, which has a touch of line.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And the best part is Logan hasn't smelled either of these,
- 2:13Speaker 1: and he was gracious enough to send over an amazing
- 2:17Speaker 1: patch nice that I have to figure out how to
- 2:21Speaker 1: put on something I don't even do. You have to
- 2:22Speaker 1: sew them or just iron them on. I don't, oh
- 2:25Speaker 1: fair enough, I don't know an iron so so if
- 2:29Speaker 1: maybe wants to iron on some for me, let's iron
- 2:30Speaker 1: it on your back. Yeah, we're not gonna do okay.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So one cool thing, while we asked you a couple
- 2:34Speaker 1: of questions, I'm gonna actually have Logan react to everybody
- 2:37Speaker 1: that's here to get this scent because I've already said
- 2:40Speaker 1: this smells like cherry koli and I'm not gonna hold
- 2:42Speaker 1: it because I probably squirted up your nose and it
- 2:44Speaker 1: smell like that forever, which could be worse. But uh so,
- 2:48Speaker 1: most of the time we talked about a little bit backstage.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You come on to a show, I only want to
- 2:53Speaker 1: talk about beards and this and that. So we want
- 2:55Speaker 1: to mix it up a little bit. So oh that
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's a digging noie? Was that you You didn't have
- 3:01Speaker 1: a great idea, just kidding. Thank you for somebody for
- 3:03Speaker 1: following on twitch. So we just, like I said, we
- 3:07Speaker 1: want to talk about something just a little bit different
- 3:09Speaker 1: instead of like what got you're growing a beer because well,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you grow a beard because you're a man and you're
- 3:13Speaker 1: in Canada and you have to Canada Day. Yesterday Canada banking,
- 3:19Speaker 1: so other than growing a beard, making oil and all
- 3:22Speaker 1: that other stuff, and Logan just went all Superman on you.
- 3:26Speaker 1: What what else do you do in your spare time?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Hanging out with the family. I got a couple of kids.
- 3:33Speaker 3: It's like he's been pretty busy. And then, uh, I
- 3:35Speaker 3: played guitar too, so nice, That's that's my hobby outside
- 3:40Speaker 3: of the beard stuff.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's a hard one. Uh, not potentially what you wanted
- 3:49Speaker 1: to be, but maybe what you own. I've been like
- 3:51Speaker 1: an ivan As guy for a while.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yeah, so I I play ian As too. Actually that's
- 3:59Speaker 3: like Maine. And then Gibson stud.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah you can't, can't gong so so your music guy,
- 4:07Speaker 1: which is cool. Kind of ask the next little question.
- 4:10Speaker 1: If you could have one CD stuck in your vehicle
- 4:13Speaker 1: and it's the only thing you can listen to every
- 4:16Speaker 1: time you drive, what would you like it to be?
- 4:19Speaker 1: And the reason I asked is because a couple of
- 4:21Speaker 1: vehicles ago, I got Blank Dude Ranch CD stuck in
- 4:25Speaker 1: my car, brought it to a dealership, now stuck in there,
- 4:28Speaker 1: brought to another one. Now bought a new car and
- 4:31Speaker 1: uh or when I got the truck, I went from
- 4:33Speaker 1: a car to a truck, turned on the truck that
- 4:35Speaker 1: CD was playing. They were able to get it out.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So now it's a new tradition. Whatever comes out, dude,
- 4:41Speaker 1: Ranch is in And that's the only CD in my years,
- 4:44Speaker 1: many years.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Like at least about ten years, I bet, I bet you, yeah,
- 4:48Speaker 2: about probably fifteen years.
- 4:51Speaker 1: That that's a good CD too, right, it's a great one.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So I was just you're.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Gonna have something stuck in there. That's a great one
- 4:58Speaker 3: to have for sure.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Oh man, what would it be? That's that's tough.
- 5:05Speaker 1: See the tough questions here. That that is a tough question.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I don't know, you know what I have to go with.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Like like old high school favorite and I would probably
- 5:17Speaker 3: be Silverchair.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Okay, that's that's better than like Atlantis, Morrisset or you
- 5:23Speaker 1: know icon.
- 5:25Speaker 2: But thanks man, well the set any other Canadian icon
- 5:31Speaker 2: other than the Hip.
- 5:32Speaker 1: The satellite channel the Verge is playing the Hip all
- 5:34Speaker 1: week and long and it's been fantastic. If you're a
- 5:37Speaker 1: hip fan, how are you're not a hit fan? Nandle
- 5:40Speaker 1: like it? Anyways, moving on, it's not about us.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I have to agree with that. If you're a hip fan,
- 5:44Speaker 4: I'm not a hip fan.
- 5:46Speaker 3: See I know I offended so many people right there.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's okay, we're border town. We get you, we get it. Okay,
- 5:54Speaker 1: see below. If you are wondering now, you're not going anywhere.
- 5:57Speaker 1: There's cold coffee here. So if you guys are one,
- 6:00Speaker 1: did you smell it?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Did? I did? I did?
- 6:02Speaker 1: What are you think my first reaction was? But let
- 6:04Speaker 1: me give you the truth because it brings It brought
- 6:06Speaker 1: me back to the day when you got that powdered
- 6:09Speaker 1: cherry kool aid.
- 6:10Speaker 6: You open that top and you're like, oh man, but
- 6:14Speaker 6: this isn't Grandma's cherry kool aid. This is your cherry
- 6:17Speaker 6: kool aid. After Grandma made you your kool aid, she
- 6:21Speaker 6: walked away and you threw more sugar in there. Yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 6: this is that kind of cool. This is good stuff.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I do have to admit I tried it. It doesn't
- 6:29Speaker 1: taste like cool aid. I did. I tried.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Why wouldn't. I was like, that's good, That's.
- 6:35Speaker 4: What I did.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I did a drop on there, just as because if
- 6:37Speaker 1: you somehow pulled off the first world's first beard edible
- 6:40Speaker 1: oil that didn't taste you, probably you wouldn't be talking
- 6:45Speaker 1: to us right now. You'd be talking to Big up there.
- 6:49Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I was trying to think of a Canadian station up there, NPR,
- 6:54Speaker 1: NPR Big See it's not good, Yeah, but it's not good.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I I open that one. This is the Outdoorsman. If
- 7:04Speaker 1: anybody wants to check them out there. You can see
- 7:05Speaker 1: it on about him. It's Woolywizard dot com and it
- 7:09Speaker 1: is live right now. He told me backstage, if you
- 7:12Speaker 1: use Beard Laws twenty you'll save twenty percent. You don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: see that a lot of places. That's how amazing this
- 7:18Speaker 1: guy is right here. He's coming out with a twenty
- 7:20Speaker 1: percent discount on anything you buy there, and the store
- 7:23Speaker 1: is really awesome. If you don't believe me, I'm gonna
- 7:26Speaker 1: show you guys how cool it is. This is the store.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He's got the Scent guy. There's ambassadors. You can contact
- 7:32Speaker 1: him if you want to talk to him directly and
- 7:34Speaker 1: just be like, hey, dude, how's your day going. Maybe
- 7:36Speaker 1: hit up Instagram or TikTok or any social media, but
- 7:38Speaker 1: you can still contact him. He's gonna read it. But
- 7:40Speaker 1: just a clean website, great testimonials. I'm gonna give him
- 7:44Speaker 1: a testimonial that maybe they'll throw on the website and
- 7:46Speaker 1: they'll just put beard laws instead of in this no
- 7:48Speaker 1: offense to Brandon M, greg M or William W. I
- 7:51Speaker 1: mean they're probably good dudes, and I read their testimonials
- 7:55Speaker 1: and they were good. But uh yeah, check them out, guys.
- 7:57Speaker 1: The Scent Guide just a great company. They got watermelon,
- 8:00Speaker 1: spiced rou pumpkin spice, vanilla citrus, cedar wood, Woodsman, cherry,
- 8:03Speaker 1: kool Aid. It is just like the classic drink from
- 8:06Speaker 1: your childhood and an unsensed because some bearded dudes just
- 8:09Speaker 1: don't love senate things. And that's okay. They got you covered.
- 8:13Speaker 4: This is nice.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah, this is again. It's it's very it's very kool Aidish,
- 8:20Speaker 1: not not, and that's a good thing. It's it's it's
- 8:22Speaker 1: good and strong. See when I smelled, Yeah, when I
- 8:25Speaker 1: smelled the first thing, I don't know why my mind
- 8:26Speaker 1: went there. Maybe I opened it around the taco Tuesday.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I got it like a margarita type smell because it's
- 8:31Speaker 1: got that line twisting, right, you want to tell us
- 8:33Speaker 1: a little bit about it.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yeah, So the the Woodsman's like, uh, it's cedar wood,
- 8:39Speaker 3: sandal wood, and then it's got like a little bit
- 8:42Speaker 3: of line to like kind of twist that like typical
- 8:44Speaker 3: woodsy scent.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, that's true. Why didn't I think of
- 8:49Speaker 1: Justin Bieber because nobody above the age of sixteen listens
- 8:53Speaker 1: to Justin Bieber except maybe Chunky Hustle. Yeah, that's right,
- 8:58Speaker 1: he's backstage in Wonder It smells man, great stuff. So
- 9:03Speaker 1: so what we do is with any of the guests
- 9:05Speaker 1: at kind of the the the end of the interview
- 9:08Speaker 1: is we kind of give you a chance to kind
- 9:10Speaker 1: of plug everything. Tell tell everybody what you have coming on.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I know you guys do some kind of like limited
- 9:15Speaker 1: edition sense and stuff like that. So just just tell
- 9:18Speaker 1: everybody what you have going on, where they can find you,
- 9:22Speaker 1: what's upcoming for Wooly Wizard, anything you want the world
- 9:25Speaker 1: to know. And we're even gonna put you on the
- 9:26Speaker 1: big screen. So don't be nervous. We'll be supporting you.
- 9:30Speaker 1: We're here for you, all right.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So I do run.
- 9:34Speaker 3: I do run a bunch of Womened runs since so
- 9:36Speaker 3: that's every five to seven weeks a new one comes out.
- 9:40Speaker 3: So actually have a new one coming out about a
- 9:43Speaker 3: week and a half. I'm just waiting for the labels
- 9:46Speaker 3: to come. You can check out all my stuff on
- 9:49Speaker 3: the website. I'm pretty active on Instagram most of the time,
- 9:52Speaker 3: so if you want to message me or ask me anything,
- 9:55Speaker 3: you can do that there. I've got a custom scent
- 9:58Speaker 3: guide as well on website and you can do your
- 10:01Speaker 3: own custom oil, so you can pick different sense that
- 10:04Speaker 3: I have available and make your own beard oil as well.
- 10:08Speaker 3: So that's that's an option for anyone who doesn't see
- 10:11Speaker 3: something they immediately want that's on there. Yeah, if you
- 10:16Speaker 3: have questions to you about any of the sense or
- 10:20Speaker 3: if I have something else, because there are things on
- 10:22Speaker 3: there that I don't necessarily have up right now, you
- 10:24Speaker 3: can always send me a message and I'll do my
- 10:26Speaker 3: best to make it for you as well.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Heck, yeah, what if they just want to know Canadian trivia.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Well, I'm probably not your guy.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So okay, guys, do not use your phone friend to
- 10:40Speaker 1: our Canadian brother time.
- 10:41Speaker 7: Yeah, don't do that.
- 10:42Speaker 5: We're not going to do that.
- 10:43Speaker 1: But no, we can't thank you enough for taking the
- 10:46Speaker 1: time and giving us the opportunity. You guys are gonna
- 10:48Speaker 1: see a lot more a Wooly Wizard and Beard Laws
- 10:51Speaker 1: kind of you know, working together, because that's that's what
- 10:54Speaker 1: it's about. At the end of the day is helping
- 10:56Speaker 1: each other out because you don't beard stick together. As
- 11:01Speaker 1: long as they're not sticking together, yeah you don't. I
- 11:03Speaker 1: mean sometimes they do. No, we're not gonna art. We're
- 11:06Speaker 1: not gonna get that close. And thank you so much
- 11:07Speaker 1: for a cherry kool aid beard. And I was telling
- 11:10Speaker 1: them earlier. I actually put that on and I bust
- 11:12Speaker 1: through every door and I just go oh every time,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and it's never gotten old. And uh yeah, seriously, guys
- 11:19Speaker 1: check them out woolyewizard dot com. Use beard Loss twenty.
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's twenty percent off. Wellgan, if you spent fifty bucks,
- 11:25Speaker 1: what does it come to. I spend fifty bucks, Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: and then you take twenty percent of Oh, it was
- 11:30Speaker 1: like if I spend fifty bucks, fifty bucks, So we're
- 11:33Speaker 1: really not that good anut forty bucks. Man, that's gonna
- 11:36Speaker 1: save you some money. And just like that Beard Loss twenty, Tyler,
- 11:40Speaker 1: thanks man for everything. Guys, check them out.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You won't be over there and you're gonna say a
- 11:45Speaker 1: lot more in the future, So thanks again, man, and
- 11:49Speaker 1: uh yeah, stay tuned for the rest of the episode
- 11:51Speaker 1: if you would like. We're live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, everywhere,
- 11:57Speaker 1: all right, So make sure everybody say bye timer out
- 12:00Speaker 1: Woolywizzard dot com. It's a great oil that needs to
- 12:02Speaker 1: be in your collection, and it's gonna be top shelf.
- 12:05Speaker 1: And you're gonna see this one sneak up on my
- 12:07Speaker 1: top five because I'm gonna be updating them soon. And
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'm not just saying it because he's here. You're gonna
- 12:11Speaker 1: see that more so seriously, man, thank you so much
- 12:13Speaker 1: and we'll chat so awesome. Thanks, guys, all right, have
- 12:16Speaker 1: a go one man, have a go awesome, absolutely awesome, guys.
- 12:21Speaker 5: I love this good smells.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah you want Cherry Cooley, go ahead, hit it up
- 12:25Speaker 1: with some Cherry kool aid. He's gonna do it, all right. Well,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna get the muscle. He's gonna get his muscles out,
- 12:30Speaker 1: just for Carrie. All right, everybody, so let's get this going.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Most of you are here to see well, not us, really,
- 12:38Speaker 1: you guys are here to see the four amazing guests
- 12:40Speaker 1: that we have. They've all had their time on the
- 12:42Speaker 1: show separately, and now they're all here together for one
- 12:46Speaker 1: pretty epic food showdown with COVID and regulations and technical stuff,
- 12:52Speaker 1: we can't physically in my brain come up with a
- 12:54Speaker 1: way to have a cookoff, you know what I mean?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Because they all different styles, you know what I mean,
- 12:59Speaker 1: not yet, you know, like Buddy might be a breakfast sexpert,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And Girks Boys Barbecue kills
- 13:05Speaker 1: it in a barbecue game, and Clint does the poor
- 13:08Speaker 1: man stuff, and Chunky Hustle does a little bit of
- 13:11Speaker 1: everything while still doing like keto and stuff. It's absolutely amazing.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So what we need to have for you is a
- 13:17Speaker 1: food trivia showdown and we're gonna see what they know
- 13:21Speaker 1: about food. But what we need you guys to do
- 13:23Speaker 1: in the chat. They can see the chat, So no spoilers,
- 13:26Speaker 1: no answers, don't give anything away to them, please, and
- 13:30Speaker 1: also no laughing at him because I think some of
- 13:32Speaker 1: these are actually really tough. And I'm sorry in advanced guys,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I mean, I have Google. You guys have
- 13:39Speaker 1: your brains, and it turns out Google is much better
- 13:42Speaker 1: than my brain. All right, So obviously we got Gark's
- 13:45Speaker 1: Boys Barbecue. He's all fired up and ready to smoke
- 13:47Speaker 1: the competition. He's not. Let's just bring him in bam
- 13:51Speaker 1: or we did it. I don't even know if he
- 13:52Speaker 1: was ready, but we brought him in. Let's have him up, guys,
- 13:56Speaker 1: what's up? Thanks for coming back. This is actually your
- 13:59Speaker 1: second time, uh and part of the beard loss trivia.
- 14:02Speaker 1: The first time had some technical difficulties. Uh, mainly because
- 14:06Speaker 1: you're getting pounded and uh no his phone died. We've
- 14:11Speaker 1: seen that once or twice, but no extremely difficult questions. Yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 1: they were rough. It's not going to be that bad today.
- 14:19Speaker 5: I know.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'm like a little intimidated right off the bat. Nice,
- 14:22Speaker 1: that's how I wanted I warm you up in the
- 14:24Speaker 1: first one, like everything's gonna be good. Now I'm coming
- 14:26Speaker 1: in with a little bit of a fear factor. Oh,
- 14:29Speaker 1: apparently you guys all do to bacon. We should have
- 14:31Speaker 1: had a bacon cookoff. Why didn't I get a hold
- 14:33Speaker 1: of Blake before the show. So let's see not only
- 14:38Speaker 1: is this next guests ready to hand these guys out
- 14:42Speaker 1: a loss as well? The one the only the hustle.
- 14:52Speaker 8: We always think that what's going to happen when you
- 14:55Speaker 8: see I got the belt where your group was?
- 14:57Speaker 5: You think you got the meat? You ain't got the meat.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I got the meat. They'll give you the sweats. You
- 15:04Speaker 5: hear me. I've got the meat that will give you
- 15:05Speaker 5: the sweat. I got the cheese. Bring it to you, Jake.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Don't talk of that.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I got the spice that in your life, so don't
- 15:15Speaker 1: even think you can step to the host.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Wow.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Wow, that's an introduction. I should have saved you for last.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I should have saved I'm sorry, Buddy, and I'm sorry Clint.
- 15:30Speaker 1: You don't have to feel free to top that. You
- 15:32Speaker 1: don't have to top that, So welcome. He's already he's
- 15:36Speaker 1: already down to the hustle. He's becoming the new puff Daddy.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Where he went from puff Daddy to p Diddy to
- 15:43Speaker 1: just pee, So he went from chucky hustle. He's the
- 15:45Speaker 1: hustle now because every day he's all right. Next up,
- 15:49Speaker 1: he was also on the show pretty recently. So let's
- 15:53Speaker 1: bring in Clint. Sorry after tonight.
- 16:04Speaker 4: That I said, you're gonna mail me that belt after tonight?
- 16:09Speaker 8: Oh Clinton, this is bringing your meat right here, go
- 16:19Speaker 8: bite and last, but not least, all right, this guy's
- 16:24Speaker 8: throwing down in the kitchen every day, come on a
- 16:26Speaker 8: different meal until he meets his soulmate.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Let's bring in bites with buddy. What's up, dude?
- 16:31Speaker 4: What up, how y'all doing?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Everything is good? And uh yeah, I don't know about
