- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver
- 0:05Speaker 1: Michael Bumpus.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Play fake, go to roll right, jumps it off into
- 0:08Speaker 2: the right class to Michael Bumpers, who bounces off a
- 0:10Speaker 2: one tackler gets inside the forty down of the thirty.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Five yard line. Powered by seahawks dot Com.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Matt pumpfake's looking at the god line. He throws it
- 0:18Speaker 2: into the end zone.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Touchdown.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Say Hawks, it's Michael.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Thumpers with a diving catching the end zone on ten
- 0:24Speaker 2: yard touchdown reception for Bumpers, and the kid out of
- 0:27Speaker 2: Washington State has found himself a place.
- 0:30Speaker 3: On this team.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Now here's your host, Nasa Choviie.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Welcome into another edition of Hawk Talk. This time we're
- 0:37Speaker 4: looking at the seahawks Week six opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals,
- 0:41Speaker 4: and the Seahawks coming off a bye week, which is
- 0:43Speaker 4: always great because when you win before the bye week bump,
- 0:46Speaker 4: you get to celebrate it for two weeks.
- 0:48Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Feels good.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, people get to go home, see the family and
- 0:53Speaker 4: get away from the facility, recharge their batteries. Normally, you'd
- 0:56Speaker 4: like this to happen, you know. Week eight ten eleven,
- 0:58Speaker 4: twelve thirteen. It happened in week five, but we'll take
- 1:01Speaker 4: it because that means a lot of Seahawks are getting
- 1:04Speaker 4: healthy and getting ready to get back after it. So
- 1:06Speaker 4: let's not waste any time. Let's get right into it.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Cincinnati Bengals, What's on tap?
- 1:13Speaker 1: What's on tap?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Two and three?
- 1:16Speaker 4: Bengals last place in the AFC North with losses to
- 1:19Speaker 4: the Browns, Ravens, and Titans, with wins over the Rams
- 1:23Speaker 4: and just this last week over the Arizona Cardinals. And
- 1:26Speaker 4: it's pretty pretty, you know, up and down season for
- 1:28Speaker 4: these guys. They've had really high expectations. Twenty twenty one,
- 1:31Speaker 4: they go to the Super Bowl, Joe Burrow, everyone comes
- 1:33Speaker 4: on the scene out of nowhere. Twenty twenty two, they
- 1:35Speaker 4: come back, have another great season, go to the AFC
- 1:38Speaker 4: Championship Game, excuse me, lose to the eventual Super Bowl champs,
- 1:41Speaker 4: the Kansas City Chiefs. So it's fair to say that
- 1:44Speaker 4: this bar has been set very high for this group
- 1:46Speaker 4: in Cincinnati. So having those blowout losses to the Browns
- 1:50Speaker 4: and Titans is now what they're expecting. And after the
- 1:53Speaker 4: Titans lost, Jamar Chase made it clear to everybody that
- 1:56Speaker 4: he's open, you know what I'm saying, And let me
- 2:00Speaker 4: get some context to that, because he didn't just say
- 2:02Speaker 4: that out of nowhere. They're asking about Joe Burrow's injury
- 2:04Speaker 4: and they're asking saying, hey, you know, do you feel
- 2:06Speaker 4: like it's taking more time, you know, less time for
- 2:09Speaker 4: you to get open and creating stuff because of his injury.
- 2:12Speaker 3: And he's like, nah, dog, I'm always open, always will be.
- 2:16Speaker 5: So you know.
- 2:17Speaker 4: And Joe Burrow before that game went as much to say,
- 2:19Speaker 4: like he didn't call it a must win game, but
- 2:21Speaker 4: he essentially they said they absolutely needed it from morale,
- 2:24Speaker 4: they needed for everything, and they definitely played like it
- 2:27Speaker 4: on Sunday.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Yeah they did.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Man, they went down to the desert, they beat the
- 2:32Speaker 6: Cardinals thirty four to twenty, and Jamar talking about always
- 2:35Speaker 6: being open, he definitely was open this game. Fifteen receptions
- 2:39Speaker 6: for one ninety three touchdowns. That fifteen receptions single game
- 2:43Speaker 6: franchise record for the Bengals. Now, after tweeting after the game,
- 2:48Speaker 6: Chase tweeted a photo or seven to eleven.
- 2:50Speaker 5: You know what seven eleven is?
- 2:52Speaker 6: I mean, I'm always open seven le I've never seven
- 2:55Speaker 6: eleven that is not open. So I think that is
- 2:58Speaker 6: perfect for Jamaar Chase, and we saw kind of a
- 3:02Speaker 6: bounce back day for Droe Bord. We haven't had this
- 3:04Speaker 6: type of moment yet from Joe this year. He did
- 3:06Speaker 6: a saying in thirty six to forty six, three seventeen
- 3:08Speaker 6: and three touchdowns with one interception.
- 3:11Speaker 5: First time they year.
- 3:11Speaker 6: He's gone over three in the passing yards in three touchdowns.
- 3:14Speaker 6: And the Cardinals may thing interesting at times. Man, they
- 3:17Speaker 6: scored fourteen on national points that took the lead in
- 3:19Speaker 6: the second fourteen to ten. Then Dolls threw a pick
- 3:22Speaker 6: picked six right before halftime. The Bengals never trailed again.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Jamar Chase had a big second half minute. I liked
- 3:28Speaker 6: watching this film and seeing what they're doing. The Bengals
- 3:31Speaker 6: dominated time of possession thirty eight minutes to twenty five
- 3:34Speaker 6: and won the turnover battle. They're now two and three.
- 3:36Speaker 6: They are the most dangerous two to three team in
- 3:39Speaker 6: the NFL right now because we know what they're capable of.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, bump, and that brings me right into the head
- 3:44Speaker 4: to head because you look at these numbers, and we'll
- 3:46Speaker 4: start with the Bengals offensively, they're thirty first in the
- 3:49Speaker 4: NFL in total offense only average two hundred and sixty
- 3:51Speaker 4: four yards a game. They're thirty right, thirty first in
- 3:55Speaker 4: the NFL in rushing. That might be true. Who knows
- 3:58Speaker 4: seventy four yards a game, twenty fifth the pass offense,
- 4:00Speaker 4: which is probably the biggest lie, and then they're tied
- 4:04Speaker 4: for twenty seventh at sixteen point six points per game.
- 4:07Speaker 4: So bomb you look at that right there, and when
- 4:09Speaker 4: you see a Jamar Chase, when you see a Joe Burrow,
- 4:12Speaker 4: when you see a T. Higgins, when you see a
- 4:13Speaker 4: Joe Mixon, when you see the guys that they have
- 4:15Speaker 4: on the offense and what they've done in the last
- 4:17Speaker 4: two years.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I look at those I almost said those lives.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I look at those stats, and you are correct, they
- 4:23Speaker 4: are telling me lies because they're so explosive and dangerous.
- 4:27Speaker 4: You can throw all those offensive numbers out the window
- 4:30Speaker 4: because I think this offense is a really good team.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Yeah, last week was more indicative of who they really are. Man,
- 4:35Speaker 6: you mentioned a personnel. It's crazy over there. So if
- 4:38Speaker 6: we weren't the football enthusiasts that we were, and we
- 4:41Speaker 6: just looked on pay people like, oh, yeah, the Hawk
- 4:42Speaker 6: should get it, dumb, they still can get it domb
- 4:45Speaker 6: especially you got the nineteenth rank offense we're talking about
- 4:47Speaker 6: the Hawks now, seventeenth when it comes to rushing, sixteenth
- 4:50Speaker 6: when it comes to passing. But they put up points.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Hawks averaging twenty seven points per game. That is sixth
- 4:55Speaker 6: in the NFL. Now, the defensive side is kind of
- 4:58Speaker 6: where it evens out a little bit. I guess the
- 5:02Speaker 6: Hawks are twenty six or seeing me, twenty fourth overall,
- 5:05Speaker 6: the Bengals twenty first. The Hawks are six against the run.
- 5:08Speaker 6: The Bengals are thirty first against the run. Kam On
- 5:10Speaker 6: kN Walker, kame on sharbon name. The Hawks are thirtieth
- 5:13Speaker 6: against the past, the Bengals are tenth. And then that
- 5:15Speaker 6: points allowed, the Hawks are nineteenth and the Bengals are twentieth. Right,
- 5:19Speaker 6: you look at the differences in the rankings in some
- 5:21Speaker 6: of these categories, but you look at the personnel. I think,
- 5:25Speaker 6: once you get to a battle like this and you
- 5:27Speaker 6: realize the injuries that the Bengals have dealt with and
- 5:31Speaker 6: the injuries that the Hawks have dealt with too, because
- 5:33Speaker 6: they've been banged up all across the board, you take
- 5:35Speaker 6: it for what it is, but you understand that these
- 5:39Speaker 6: numbers mean something, but not everything because of the person
- 5:41Speaker 6: out that we're going to see on Sunday.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Yeah, because we're finally getting to a point in the
- 5:44Speaker 4: season where there is a little bit of a sample size,
- 5:47Speaker 4: right if you're thinking in baseball terms, a lot of
- 5:49Speaker 4: people are like, Hey, I'm not going to look at
- 5:51Speaker 4: any distats or the numbers until we get to Memorial Day.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So there's enough games, has enough data.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Well in the NFL, since we all messed up because
- 5:59Speaker 4: we don't have clean quarters anymore because they're seventeen games,
- 6:02Speaker 4: we're quarterway through the season, so we've seen enough to
- 6:04Speaker 4: at least get a snapshot of a team. But to
- 6:07Speaker 4: your point, we learned from the Bengals that that is
- 6:09Speaker 4: not their accurate picture.
- 6:10Speaker 3: So we'll see.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Man, they have a good turnover differential with the Seahawks
- 6:13Speaker 4: up there. They don't turn the ball over a ton.
- 6:15Speaker 4: They have more than the Seahawks have, but it's it's
- 6:17Speaker 4: gonna be interesting. So they definitely pose a great matchup.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And speaking of matchups against the Bengals, let's know the history, no,
- 6:24Speaker 4: your history, Bengals lead the all time series or excuse me, typo.
- 6:30Speaker 3: The all time series is tied at ten to ten.
- 6:33Speaker 4: They're one to zero in the postseason of Ron berget
- 6:36Speaker 4: my own script there bump last season though. Last time
- 6:40Speaker 4: they met the Seahawks one in twenty nineteen. It was
- 6:42Speaker 4: a season opener at Luminfield. They took the Bengals down
- 6:44Speaker 4: twenty one to twenty and if you look at the
- 6:46Speaker 4: box score in that game, it looked like the Bengals
- 6:48Speaker 4: were in a route. I mean they dominated time in
- 6:51Speaker 4: possession thirty five to fifty to twenty four to ten,
- 6:53Speaker 4: out gained Seattle four twenty nine to two thirty two,
- 6:57Speaker 4: had more first downs twenty two to twelve. The main
- 7:00Speaker 4: difference with turnovers that day. Bengals lost three fumbles thousand
- 7:03Speaker 4: difference in the game. Russell was average that day, fourteen
- 7:06Speaker 4: to twenty one to ninety five, two touchdowns. Chris Carson
- 7:09Speaker 4: had forty six yards and two touchdowns as well. But
- 7:12Speaker 4: the thing that really stood out about that game was
- 7:15Speaker 4: John ross Man. Former U dub legend and great receiver.
- 7:19Speaker 4: John ross I thought after he ran that four to
- 7:21Speaker 4: two bump, he was gonna be destined for absolute greatness
- 7:23Speaker 4: in the NFL. Could never stay healthy and that was
- 7:26Speaker 4: the best game he ever played in a Bengals uniform
- 7:28Speaker 4: in the NFL by far seven receptions, one fifty eight
- 7:31Speaker 4: two touchdowns, had a big fifty five yard touchdown at
- 7:34Speaker 4: Dana a half over Tedra Thompson, and we were kind
- 7:37Speaker 4: of figuring out what is going on here, But Seahawks
- 7:39Speaker 4: obviously come out in the second half do what they
- 7:41Speaker 4: got to do. Tyler Lockett only had one catch, but
- 7:43Speaker 4: it was for forty four yard touchdown, put the Seahawks
- 7:46Speaker 4: up twenty one fourteen, and that was it, and the
- 7:49Speaker 4: Seahawks would hold on after foreseing the Bengals out in
- 7:52Speaker 4: the last.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Two drives and Bump.
- 7:54Speaker 4: These teams don't play often, every bout every four years,
- 7:57Speaker 4: and they've only played five times since two thousand. You
- 7:59Speaker 4: know before that when the hawkspru in the AFC, they
- 8:02Speaker 4: played twelve. It looks like every year twelve years in
- 8:04Speaker 4: a row from eighty four to ninety five. So I'm
- 8:07Speaker 4: hoping to see a little bit better performance. But I
- 8:10Speaker 4: don't need to get you know, cocky or arrogant about
- 8:13Speaker 4: any of this.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Bump wins. That's all that matters.
- 8:15Speaker 4: I'll start I'll start playing the seed now because before
- 8:19Speaker 4: the Niners, Cowboys, Niners, Eagle, stretch, which is before that
- 8:24Speaker 4: is the Rams right before that. The Seahawks need to
- 8:26Speaker 4: stack wins. They need to get all these wins. And
- 8:29Speaker 4: if you but I will say this one one outlier,
- 8:32Speaker 4: if you are going to drop a game.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It better be in the AFC because it's gonna be tough.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I know at the beginning of the year everyone talked
- 8:37Speaker 4: about a load of the AFC was but the NFC
- 8:39Speaker 4: is gonna be tough. So anytime you play an NFC team,
- 8:42Speaker 4: you gotta show up. And the Seahawks need to stack
- 8:44Speaker 4: some wins. But I can't get ahead of myself, bump.
- 8:47Speaker 4: We gotta check around. See what's going on in the
- 8:49Speaker 4: NFC West. What's the word.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Si now the Seahawks or the NFC West champs?
- 8:57Speaker 3: Again, what's the word in the West? On hok talk?
- 9:03Speaker 5: All right, let's take a look around the division.
- 9:05Speaker 6: The Niners sitting pretty at five and ol see I
- 9:08Speaker 6: was right behind them three and won, the Rams at
- 9:10Speaker 6: two and three at sneaky two and three team, and
- 9:13Speaker 6: then the Carlins at one and four. But you can't
- 9:15Speaker 6: really sleep on either man. They show glimpses of greatness
- 9:17Speaker 6: every now and then. But you know, the struggles there,
- 9:19Speaker 6: but let's focus. The Cowboys were at the Niners, and
- 9:24Speaker 6: growing up, this was a game that you wanted to watch.
- 9:27Speaker 6: I remember the battles that these guys have and nothing changed.
- 9:31Speaker 6: It's still anticipated Sunday night football. You want to see
- 9:33Speaker 6: what's going down. And what went down was that the
- 9:35Speaker 6: Niners came out did their thing. George Kittle finally got
- 9:39Speaker 6: things going. He had three touchdowns on the day, man,
- 9:42Speaker 6: but he started with two winn a fourteen oh.
- 9:44Speaker 5: When the Niners went up twenty one.
- 9:45Speaker 6: To seven at half, then the Cowboys kick a field
- 9:48Speaker 6: goal on the opening drive.
- 9:49Speaker 5: That's not gonna be enough.
- 9:50Speaker 6: The Niners said, look, we gonna score twenty one unanswered
- 9:53Speaker 6: on their way to a forty two to ten round
- 9:55Speaker 6: and it didn't feel that close. Rock Party was one
- 9:59Speaker 6: of the just going into this season. Easy for Real
- 10:02Speaker 6: is at the offense? Can he do it again? And
- 10:05Speaker 6: I say it's all the above. He is for real.
- 10:07Speaker 6: It is the offense and he's doing again. He was
- 10:09Speaker 6: seventeen to twenty four, two point fifty two and four touchdowns,
- 10:13Speaker 6: no interceptions.
- 10:14Speaker 5: He looks in complete control.
- 10:15Speaker 6: Whenever I see the young man on the football field,
- 10:17Speaker 6: I hate that he is in our division. George Kettle,
- 10:20Speaker 6: like I said at three touchdowns, he had three for
- 10:22Speaker 6: sixty seven career high on touchdowns.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Fred Warner is a guy. We always talking.
- 10:26Speaker 6: About these great defensive players like the Bosas, we got
- 10:30Speaker 6: the wide Hutchinson. I get all of that, but I
- 10:32Speaker 6: think Fred Warner needs more respect on his name. There
- 10:35Speaker 6: was a sequence where he got a sack and then
- 10:39Speaker 6: the next possession forced a fumble.
- 10:41Speaker 5: And he is everywhere.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Mike Tomlin said he was in the same stadium of
- 10:45Speaker 6: with Fred Warner and he's one of the few players
- 10:47Speaker 6: we can feel his presence on the field.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Fred Warner is nothing to play with. Man.
- 10:52Speaker 6: He finished with eight a tackles, one sack, one TfL,
- 10:55Speaker 6: one pass defending, one QBM, one interception. He did just
- 10:59Speaker 6: about everything on the other side. Dak Prescott, I'm telling you, Nas,
- 11:02Speaker 6: I'm worried.
- 11:03Speaker 5: About your boy.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Yeah, that was bad and looking like it could be
- 11:07Speaker 6: the end of the row from my man. He finished
- 11:08Speaker 6: fourteen to twenty four, one pint, fifty three, one touchdown,
- 11:11Speaker 6: three interceptions. Run on the rock. Tony Pollard had twenty
- 11:14Speaker 6: nine yards on eight carries. And I know they're in
- 11:17Speaker 6: our division. I know they are our rivals. Yeah, but
- 11:21Speaker 6: give respect respect to dude. The Niners are good man.
- 11:23Speaker 6: It's gonna take a complete team effort to beat these guys.
- 11:26Speaker 5: The Cowboys were not able to do.
- 11:27Speaker 3: That, no question.
- 11:28Speaker 4: There was a lot that came from that game. First
- 11:30Speaker 4: of all, I don't love doing this, but it is
- 11:34Speaker 4: what it is. We are talking about the forty nine ers.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I mean the weapons everywhere you look. First of all,
- 11:39Speaker 4: brock Party. I've gone back and forth with bron Right.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I've defended him when everyone was going after it from
- 11:45Speaker 4: being mis irrelevant because I think that's ridiculous. I think
- 11:47Speaker 4: they should get rid of that because you still got
- 11:49Speaker 4: drafted in the NFL, so like anyway. But then I'm like, well,
- 11:53Speaker 4: he plays on this amazing team. How much is he
- 11:56Speaker 4: really doing? So I've been waiting for that bad game.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I've been waiting for the multiply. I've been waiting for
- 12:01Speaker 4: the moment to get too big for him. And he
- 12:02Speaker 4: hasn't necessarily had to go win a game for them,
- 12:05Speaker 4: But he's also not They're not winning in spite of him.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Every time we see him throw the ball, he's making throws,
- 12:10Speaker 4: he's making plays. He's not game managing. So we'll see.
- 12:14Speaker 4: I'm still waiting for other shoot to drop. And don't
- 12:15Speaker 4: think's gonna drop because think he's just a good football player.
- 12:17Speaker 4: And then you talk about George Kittle three touchdowns, three receptions,
- 12:20Speaker 4: he's a boss.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And then Fred Warner. Last thing I'll say about these guys.
- 12:24Speaker 4: He he reminds me of Bobby Wagner in the sense
- 12:27Speaker 4: of when Bobby Wagner started going and he was getting
- 12:29Speaker 4: MVP votes and people are like, that guy is different.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Fred Warner. I watched one play bump.
- 12:34Speaker 4: He gets into his drop reads Dak Prescott, takes away
- 12:37Speaker 4: his first option, takes away another option, and then is
- 12:40Speaker 4: up getting a sack at the line of scrimmage.
- 12:42Speaker 3: That is not You're not supposed to be able to
- 12:44Speaker 3: do that.
- 12:44Speaker 4: And he is oh man, So the Seahawks have their
- 12:47Speaker 4: work cutout for him. I think we're still get him, though,
- 12:50Speaker 4: we'll see.
- 12:51Speaker 5: We'll see already.
- 12:51Speaker 2: No.
- 12:52Speaker 4: But and the Cowboys. Cowboys are what they are, man,
- 12:54Speaker 4: I think they they were. They're a good football team,
- 12:57Speaker 4: but they they disappoint everybody the explications year about this time,
- 13:03Speaker 4: stop believing. I mean, I would say I pity them,
- 13:07Speaker 4: but they'll be like oh, we got six rings. We
- 13:09Speaker 4: have six rings, okay, bra time has moved on since
- 13:12Speaker 4: ninety five, and it's the same thing every year. I
- 13:15Speaker 4: don't know, man, We'll wait and see. I don't want
- 13:17Speaker 4: to eat my rewards later in the year. But Cowboy fans,
- 13:19Speaker 4: it is what it is. You guys are always up
- 13:21Speaker 4: there for disappointment, man. So moving on in the division though,
- 13:26Speaker 4: Eagles at Rams. I'll be quick with this one. The
- 13:29Speaker 4: Rams are still good. I think they're a better football
- 13:31Speaker 4: team than their record says.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Obviously.
- 13:33Speaker 4: They beat the Seahawks in Week one, and they've gone
- 13:35Speaker 4: toe to toe of the Eagles in the forty nine
- 13:38Speaker 4: ers and good teams, including the Bengals. They just can't
- 13:41Speaker 4: pull it off. You know what I'm saying. I just
- 13:42Speaker 4: let me back up, bump. What do you feel about?
- 13:45Speaker 4: I got distracted? But what do you feel about the
- 13:47Speaker 4: brotherly shove or whatever they want to call it?
- 13:50Speaker 6: You eat thumbs up or thumbs down? I don't care, don't.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Here's what I say. Don't allow them get to third
- 13:57Speaker 6: and one to third and short. I mean, it's a
- 14:00Speaker 6: football play to me, I understand. I've heard people say
- 14:03Speaker 6: it's unsafe or it's an unfair advantage. Everybody can do it,
- 14:08Speaker 6: Philly just does it better than everybody else in my opinion,
- 14:10Speaker 6: I don't know what are your thoughts on I feel
- 14:12Speaker 6: like you're on the other side.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Well, I've gone back and forth because more has talked
- 14:15Speaker 4: about this, and like there's certain things like on a
- 14:17Speaker 4: field goal, certain stuff where you can't push another defensive
- 14:19Speaker 4: player and this and that.
- 14:21Speaker 3: But for me, honestly, you.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Just got to stop him because I'm pretty sure the
- 14:24Speaker 4: Giants tried that against the Seahawks and how that turn out, right,
- 14:28Speaker 4: I mean, it also helps maybe get get you a
- 14:32Speaker 4: quarterback that power clings like five hundred pounds or squats
- 14:35Speaker 4: like seven hundred pounds, get you the best center in
- 14:37Speaker 4: the game in Jason Kelce.
- 14:39Speaker 6: Like, Hey, so you're saying, you saying you got to
- 14:41Speaker 6: start drafting for this one play now.
- 14:44Speaker 4: If you're so mad about it, go figure it out,
- 14:46Speaker 4: because I don't know, I just I just thought about it.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Sorry I got off on that tangent. But like, because
- 14:51Speaker 4: you can't stop him, here's the other thing. Don't let
- 14:53Speaker 4: them get in third and one because it's a rap at,
- 14:55Speaker 4: it's a wrap. You know, you can't stop it. And
- 14:57Speaker 4: the Rams have the best player when the best defensive
- 15:00Speaker 4: players of this generation maybe ever Aaron Donald, he was
- 15:03Speaker 4: on the field. Didn't stop it, didn't stop it anyway.
- 15:07Speaker 4: It was a close game. Before that Pooka Nakoa got
- 15:09Speaker 4: in the end zone. The Rams were up fourteen to ten.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Then the brotherly chef happens after a long drive right
- 15:13Speaker 4: before the half, Ram or Eagles go up seventeen fourteen.
- 15:16Speaker 4: That's essentially all she wrote for that. They kind of
- 15:19Speaker 4: took control of things in the second half. Jalen Hrs
- 15:21Speaker 4: threw for three hundred yards, one touchdown, one pick, And
- 15:25Speaker 4: the takeaway from me there is the Rams are good.
- 15:26Speaker 4: They're just not quite there. But you better show up
- 15:29Speaker 4: and play a game against them because they have enough weapons.
- 15:31Speaker 4: And Pooka still had a great game even though Cooper
- 15:33Speaker 4: Cup the Pride of Eastern Washington, came back in that game.
- 15:36Speaker 4: But the Eagles remain undefeated.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Bump.
- 15:39Speaker 4: But let's get back into this matchup that we care about.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Man out the illness?
- 15:44Speaker 3: Is this.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Man up on Hawk Talk?
- 15:55Speaker 5: All right?
- 15:55Speaker 6: We gotta start with mister koo Joel Burrow. He's gonna
- 15:58Speaker 6: go up against the Seahawks defense. When you talk about
- 16:01Speaker 6: a start to a career. His has been interesting, right,
- 16:04Speaker 6: he blow out, he blows out his knee. In twenty twenty,
- 16:07Speaker 6: he won comeback Play of the Year. In twenty twenty one,
- 16:10Speaker 6: he led the Bengals to the Super Bowl. He completed
- 16:13Speaker 6: seventy percent of his passes for four six hundred and
- 16:17Speaker 6: eleven yards in twenty excuse me, thirty four touchdowns, and
- 16:20Speaker 6: last year he goes, look, I'm gonna run that back.
- 16:22Speaker 6: He led the Bengals to the AFC title before losing
- 16:25Speaker 6: a heartbreak into the Chiefs a great gag. In twenty
- 16:27Speaker 6: twenty two, he completed sixty eight percent of his passes
- 16:30Speaker 6: for forty four hundred yards thirty five touchdowns in twelve interceptions,
- 16:33Speaker 6: also rush for two fifty seven on the ground with
- 16:36Speaker 6: five touchdowns. It was getting some MVP voting. Finished number
- 16:40Speaker 6: four in that race there. Now we all know how
- 16:45Speaker 6: good this guy can be. But he came into this
- 16:47Speaker 6: injury excuse me, this season with a calf injury. I
- 16:49Speaker 6: remember seeing the tape He's rolling out to his right
- 16:52Speaker 6: and I see him just pull up. The first thing
- 16:54Speaker 6: I thought was achilles for some reason, because I feel
- 16:56Speaker 6: like that's been going around a lot more, and I
- 16:59Speaker 6: was I was happy here.
- 17:00Speaker 5: It was just his calf.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Now, selfishly, as a Seahawk fan, I wish he was
- 17:03Speaker 6: still banged up some because I'm watching he's looking good.
- 17:06Speaker 5: But you never wish ill on anybody. Man.
- 17:09Speaker 6: Uh So, he hasn't missed the start this season. I
- 17:11Speaker 6: thought he's gonna sit for a couple games. He said, Nah,
- 17:13Speaker 6: put me the game, coach, I'm ready to play. Now
- 17:16Speaker 6: every week he's gotten better and better. Cleveland he completes
- 17:20Speaker 6: forty five percent of his passes eighty two yards, Baltimore
- 17:24Speaker 6: sixty five percent of his passes twenty twenty two yards,
- 17:27Speaker 6: the Rams, fifty three percent of his passes two to
- 17:29Speaker 6: fifty nine, Tennessee sixty sixty six completion one sixty five.
- 17:33Speaker 5: And then Arizona he goes, all right, guys, I'm good.
- 17:36Speaker 5: I'm ready to go.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Thirty six to forty six, seventy eight percent completion rate,
- 17:39Speaker 6: three hundred and seventeen yards and three touchdowns. So far
- 17:42Speaker 6: this year, he's completing sixty two percent of his passes,
- 17:45Speaker 6: a little over one thousand yards, five touchdowns, three interceptions,
- 17:48Speaker 6: sack eleven times. First game this year was last week,
- 17:52Speaker 6: where he completed excuse me, through for over three hundred
- 17:55Speaker 6: yards and he looks good. He looks good. The Hawks
- 17:59Speaker 6: are coming off game where you were able to contain
- 18:02Speaker 6: Dann Jones. I don't know how much that's saying, but
- 18:04Speaker 6: you still got to go out there to do it.
- 18:06Speaker 5: They sacked the quarterback eleven times, ten times.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Excuse me, and then you know, our guy Devin Witherspon
- 18:12Speaker 6: gets credited for a sack on a double pass.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Good for you. No one's gonna remember that.
- 18:15Speaker 6: He gets a step and I'm looking to see how
- 18:18Speaker 6: they are going to respond this week because you have
- 18:21Speaker 6: an offensive line that struggles a little bit with the
- 18:24Speaker 6: Cincinnati Bengals. But we know who's the play call over there,
- 18:28Speaker 6: we know who the receivers are. If you can contain
- 18:31Speaker 6: Joe Burrow and not allow him to go off, I
- 18:35Speaker 6: really like the hawks chances this game.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Yeah, he found something against the Cardinals. You know it
- 18:40Speaker 4: was desperation for them, and they played a lot better.
- 18:43Speaker 4: I will say the cat is something that's gonna linger.
- 18:45Speaker 4: He's looking better. Of course, he may be feeling almost
- 18:48Speaker 4: one hundred percent, but mom, that's one unnecessary step. That's
- 18:51Speaker 4: one step up in the pocket. It's one explosive movement
- 18:53Speaker 4: and you could be right back to square one. So
- 18:55Speaker 4: I think the Seyhawk still need to get after him.
- 18:57Speaker 4: But he's definitely we know how good he is.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Man. He he is legit. I like your point.
- 19:01Speaker 4: You got to keep things in front man, you can't
- 19:03Speaker 4: have explosive plays. I'm not going to diminish with the
- 19:05Speaker 4: Hawks did against the Giants because there are still people
- 19:08Speaker 4: get paid to play the game. I don't care for
- 19:10Speaker 4: the worst offense in the league three points, eleven sacks.
- 19:12Speaker 4: He still got to do it, and the Seahawks performed.
- 19:14Speaker 4: This will be a lot tougher tasks, so I'm excited
- 19:16Speaker 4: to see if they can do because you know, they've
- 19:19Speaker 4: climbed up to twenty fourth in overall defense three sixty seven,
- 19:22Speaker 4: hoping they can continue to build on that. Now, flipping
- 19:25Speaker 4: over to our quarterback Geno Smith, and he kind of
- 19:28Speaker 4: had a quiet performance against the Giants, and he didn't
- 19:30Speaker 4: play bad at by any means. He just didn't put
- 19:32Speaker 4: up the numbers that we've been accustomed to seeing in
- 19:34Speaker 4: the last two years thirteen of twenty for one hundred
- 19:37Speaker 4: and ten yards in one touchdown. Keep in mind he
- 19:39Speaker 4: did have to leave the game because he did tweak
- 19:41Speaker 4: his knee, Drew Lock comes in leads a touchdown drive
- 19:44Speaker 4: and Gino got his way back into the game.
- 19:46Speaker 3: So because of that and because of the bye.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Week, he kind of fell in a lot of the
- 19:51Speaker 4: rankings that he was been in easily in the top
- 19:54Speaker 4: ten for this year. So he fell the thirteenth thinking
- 19:56Speaker 4: bleeer percentage, twenty ninth in yards to twenty first, and
- 20:00Speaker 4: yards per game tenth and QB rating and tenth in QBR.
- 20:03Speaker 3: So a lot of that is because he's literally.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Played one less game than everyone and didn't have you know,
- 20:07Speaker 4: gangbuster stats against the Giants.
- 20:09Speaker 3: But we know what he can do, we know his poise.
- 20:12Speaker 4: He's gonna be ready to go, and I'm excited to
- 20:15Speaker 4: see what he does in this game. I'm hoping we'll
- 20:17Speaker 4: get into later that he hands the ball off a
- 20:19Speaker 4: lot just because of the matchup here. But he's in
- 20:21Speaker 4: a place where he's going to continue to rewrite the
- 20:23Speaker 4: Seahawks record book. He's one hundred and seven completions away
- 20:26Speaker 4: passing John Kaitnav for sixth place on that completion's list,
- 20:29Speaker 4: and he's two touchdowns away from passing Rick Meyer sixth
- 20:32Speaker 4: place on Seattle's all time passing touchdown list at forty two.
- 20:35Speaker 4: So I want to see Gino ball out. I'm excited
- 20:38Speaker 4: to see him back out there. And you know, despite
- 20:42Speaker 4: his stat line against the Giants, we know he's consistent,
- 20:45Speaker 4: he takes care of the ball, he doesn't get sacked
- 20:47Speaker 4: a lot. So we're going to see what Gino can
- 20:48Speaker 4: do against his Bengals defense, who is just okay.
- 20:52Speaker 6: Yeah, and I expect Gino to have a Geno type
- 20:56Speaker 6: of day. And the Geno type of day to me
- 20:58Speaker 6: is efficient, taking care of the football, moving to down
- 21:00Speaker 6: the field, getting to your playmakers. Next matchup, we got
- 21:04Speaker 6: Jamar Chase against the Seahawks back seven and twenty nineteen.
- 21:08Speaker 6: He was teamed up with Joe Burrow LSU some of
- 21:11Speaker 6: the best cinematography I've ever seen that year. Second Joe Burrow,
- 21:15Speaker 6: I mean it got me hyped up. I'm watching this
- 21:18Speaker 6: young man ball out and they had a great connection.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Man.
- 21:20Speaker 6: Jamar Chase received for seventeen hundred yards and twenty touchdowns
- 21:25Speaker 6: since he's been in the league. He's got two one
- 21:27Speaker 6: thousand yard seasons back to back years and at least
- 21:30Speaker 6: nine receiving touchdowns.
- 21:32Speaker 5: This is.
- 21:34Speaker 6: He came off to a slow start as well, but
- 21:36Speaker 6: typically it's because you're directly connected to your quarterback as
- 21:39Speaker 6: a receiver, and there is a moment where you talked
- 21:42Speaker 6: about it earlier. They're talking to Jamar Chase at his
- 21:44Speaker 6: locker room and asking questions about the production, and Jamar
- 21:47Speaker 6: very confidently said, look, I'm always open. Then the next
- 21:50Speaker 6: play he shows everybody he's always over. The next game
- 21:53Speaker 6: and he goes fifteen receptions for one and three touchdowns.
- 21:57Speaker 6: Chase is second in the league in targets. He has
- 21:59Speaker 6: six targets in forty four receptions so far this year,
- 22:02Speaker 6: forty four catches, four hundred and seventy six yards and
- 22:05Speaker 6: three touchdowns. I'm looking to see what this matchup looks
- 22:08Speaker 6: like against Devin Witherspoon.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:10Speaker 6: Two. One guy's already established in Jamar Chase. The other
- 22:14Speaker 6: guy just got NFC Defensive Player of the Week. He's
- 22:18Speaker 6: making plays, he's looking explosive. Can you do it against
- 22:22Speaker 6: one of the best in the league. And I think
- 22:24Speaker 6: he's going to be up for the challenge. Last week
- 22:27Speaker 6: or the last time they played Jamar. I see with
- 22:30Speaker 6: Devin Witherspoon at seven tackles, two sacks, two TFLs, one pass,
- 22:33Speaker 6: defending three QB hits in that beautiful ninety seven yard touchdown.
- 22:36Speaker 5: Second longest in franchise history.
- 22:38Speaker 6: I believe Bobby Wagner has the longest with a ninety
- 22:41Speaker 6: eight yard pick six. I'm looking at this matchup nas
- 22:45Speaker 6: and I'm saying, this is the future of the NFL.
- 22:47Speaker 6: This could be the future of the NFL. I remember
- 22:50Speaker 6: seeing Dion and Jerry Rice go out of towards the
- 22:53Speaker 6: end of their careers and really sitting there and watching
- 22:56Speaker 6: them and enjoying what I'm seeing. I'm not saying this
- 22:59Speaker 6: is going to be that, but we're just looking at
- 23:01Speaker 6: the trajectory of these two young men. It could be
- 23:03Speaker 6: something like that when it's all said and done, and
- 23:06Speaker 6: one on one matchups is something that the average NFL
- 23:10Speaker 6: fan can watch more closely. On the outside, they don't
- 23:13Speaker 6: really look at the box and the d tackles in
- 23:16Speaker 6: the offensive linemen, but you get the ball outside, you
- 23:19Speaker 6: can really break down this matchup with Jamar and Devin Witherspoon, It'll.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Be fun, man. And who knows where Devin Witherspoon's gonna
- 23:25Speaker 4: line up too. He might be in the nick or
- 23:27Speaker 4: where do you move jamar At, then you have Riek one.
- 23:29Speaker 4: You have all these different options, all these different people
- 23:31Speaker 4: that cover it. So it's gonna be really fun to watch.
- 23:33Speaker 4: And with te Higgins coming back and seeing how they
- 23:35Speaker 4: look as an offense, but with Reek and Spoon and
- 23:40Speaker 4: you know, I'm not sure if Kobe's gonna be back.
- 23:42Speaker 4: I'm not sure if Lardy Burns is gonna be back.
- 23:45Speaker 4: But Michael Jackson's been playing good football. Right Trey Brown
- 23:47Speaker 4: I believe, is trying to make his way back, So
- 23:49Speaker 4: it'll be interesting. And here's the thing for me, bump,
- 23:52Speaker 4: keep him in front, keep him in front of you.
- 23:55Speaker 4: I mean, period, point blank. He's gonna get receptions, he's
- 23:58Speaker 4: gonna get the ball, but he cannot go off.
- 24:00Speaker 3: He can't go one ninety two to fifteen.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Receptions can't happen because that's all they want to play football,
- 24:05Speaker 4: that's how they want to win. Staying on offense for
- 24:07Speaker 4: the Bengals, Joe Mixon taking on this front seven, mixing
- 24:11Speaker 4: with healthy. You know, he's put up some pretty good
- 24:13Speaker 4: numbers throughout a seven year career. He's had three one
- 24:15Speaker 4: thousand yard seasons. During that Super Bowl season of twenty
- 24:18Speaker 4: twenty one, Mixing had career highs in rushing yards twelve
- 24:21Speaker 4: hundred and five and rushing touchdowns with thirteen. Last year's
- 24:25Speaker 4: numbers were slightly down, going down to eight hundred fourteen
- 24:28Speaker 4: yards rushing on two hundred and ten carries and seven touchdowns.
- 24:31Speaker 4: This season, the Bengals a bump have not been able
- 24:34Speaker 4: to figure it out on the ground, one of the
- 24:35Speaker 4: worst teams in the NFL, ranking at thirty first, averaging
- 24:39Speaker 4: seventy four point six yards a game. Mixing's high eighty
- 24:42Speaker 4: one yards last week against the Cardinals was his season
- 24:45Speaker 4: high and he did that on twenty five carries. So
- 24:48Speaker 4: you look at his season stats eighty four carries, three
- 24:50Speaker 4: twenty eight one toad, thirteen receptions for eighty yards and
- 24:54Speaker 4: what they're not doing well. What the Seahawks do well.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Their run defense is one of the best in the league.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Six in the six rank six in run defense when
- 25:02Speaker 4: it comes to yards per game eighty seven and a half,
- 25:05Speaker 4: and they rank number one when it comes to yards
- 25:08Speaker 4: per carry at three point two. Now there's about three
- 25:11Speaker 4: or four other teams that are tied for three point
- 25:12Speaker 4: two and a couple.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Of three point three to three point four.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Whatever, all you need to know is they're among the
- 25:16Speaker 4: league's best at stopping the run per carry. Now the
- 25:20Speaker 4: Seahawks also having allot of player to run for more
- 25:22Speaker 4: than sixty eight yards, So I'm taking advantage Seahawks. But
- 25:26Speaker 4: but that's why you got to play the game. You
- 25:27Speaker 4: still got to be sound, you still got to do
- 25:29Speaker 4: what you're doing. It's weekend, week out. You got to
- 25:31Speaker 4: pay rent every single week. And I have faith that
- 25:34Speaker 4: the Seahawks defense has gotten a lot of confidence, especially
- 25:36Speaker 4: stopping the run. Because Jay Reed's balling out this year
- 25:39Speaker 4: doing he's got to do, Draymond Jones, a D line,
- 25:41Speaker 4: the linebackers, Brooks and Wagner.
- 25:43Speaker 3: So I like this matchup for the Seahawks.
- 25:46Speaker 5: I like it too.
- 25:46Speaker 6: So let's go from their running back to our running backs.
- 25:49Speaker 6: We got two guys over there, man, we got Ken
- 25:52Speaker 6: Walker and Zach Charbadeight, they're gonna go up against the
- 25:55Speaker 6: Bengals front seven. Ken Walker had a solid game against
- 25:58Speaker 6: New York seven to nine yards on seventeen Harris in
- 26:00Speaker 6: one touchdown. Would have been a lot more if there
- 26:02Speaker 6: wasn't a long touchdown taken back since the beginning of
- 26:05Speaker 6: the last season. Kin Walker rings second in the NFL
- 26:08Speaker 6: with five games with at least two rushing touchdowns.
- 26:10Speaker 5: Only Jamal Williams has more. He has six.
- 26:14Speaker 6: It's taken over the starting role versus the Arizona Cardinals
- 26:17Speaker 6: last season.
- 26:17Speaker 5: I was in October.
- 26:19Speaker 6: Walker has supposed to the fourth most rushing yards in
- 26:22Speaker 6: franchise history, and the players first fifteen stars only sewn.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Alexander who we've been interviewed before, Kurt Warner and Ricky
- 26:29Speaker 6: Waters who we also interviewed, have more. Sharbonay is looking
- 26:33Speaker 6: good with the little bit of carries that he's getting,
- 26:36Speaker 6: and I kind of like that they're kind of sprinkling
- 26:37Speaker 6: him in and not taking too many carries away from
- 26:39Speaker 6: kid Walker. He had five carries for thirty one yards
- 26:42Speaker 6: in the longer fifteen against the New York Giants. Probably
- 26:45Speaker 6: has the most violent run of the year so far
- 26:47Speaker 6: in the NFL, that run against the Panthers where he
- 26:50Speaker 6: just laid out of dB right at the goal line.
- 26:52Speaker 6: So disrespectful. Keep up the good work. So far this year,
- 26:55Speaker 6: Walker has sixty four carries two hundred and eight three
- 26:57Speaker 6: yards and five touchdowns. He got Sharbona twenty one carriers
- 27:00Speaker 6: for one oh four the Bengals. They struggle to run
- 27:04Speaker 6: the ball and they struggle to stop it. Perfect recipe
- 27:07Speaker 6: for the Hawks want to do their thirty first in
- 27:10Speaker 6: run defense along one hundred and fifty four yards per game.
- 27:13Speaker 6: They are thirtieth in rush yards per carry, allowing fifty
- 27:17Speaker 6: excuse me, five point three yards. I like the matchup, man,
- 27:20Speaker 6: If there's an advantage Seahawks, it has to be defending
- 27:24Speaker 6: the run and getting the run going and outside. I'd
- 27:26Speaker 6: say it's a bit more even I still think we
- 27:28Speaker 6: have a couple more playmakers when we sprinkling the tight
- 27:30Speaker 6: ends as well.
- 27:31Speaker 5: But I like the matchup.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Yeah, run the ball, run the ball, and stop the run.
- 27:35Speaker 4: And it sounds super simple. But it's not often that
- 27:38Speaker 4: you see two Boer opposites in terms of where the
- 27:40Speaker 4: Seahawks rat, stopping the run and then running the ball
- 27:42Speaker 4: and vice versa.
- 27:43Speaker 3: So I'm definitely with that. Let's get a lot more.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Carries and I want to see I just man, I
- 27:47Speaker 4: love seeing both of them run the ball. Ken is
- 27:50Speaker 4: just a different style where he's in and out of breaks,
- 27:52Speaker 4: foot down, home run hitter every time, and Zach looks
- 27:55Speaker 4: like he's angry because you said something behind his back
- 27:58Speaker 4: and you didn't invite him to a barbecue or something
- 28:01Speaker 4: because he runs angry and he hurts people. And I
- 28:04Speaker 4: love watching Sharvon I run the football, So sign.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Me up for that.
- 28:07Speaker 4: And the last matchup, bumbo to look at Trey Hendrickson
- 28:10Speaker 4: against the Seahawks OH line, which you know, the Seahawks
- 28:13Speaker 4: have been banged up. They finished last game with five
- 28:16Speaker 4: people playing in different positions and we started the year
- 28:19Speaker 4: with so they've been banged up. And on the Bengal side,
- 28:21Speaker 4: Trey Henderson's had himself quite a start to the season.
- 28:24Speaker 4: His six sacks lead the Bengals this year and the
- 28:28Speaker 4: second most in the NFL. He's had big games against
- 28:31Speaker 4: the NFC West as well, combined for four point five
- 28:33Speaker 4: sacks and two games against the Cardinals and Rams. And
- 28:36Speaker 4: Henderson's in his seventh season, He's put together a couple
- 28:39Speaker 4: of really good years. Thirteen and a half sacks in
- 28:40Speaker 4: twenty twenty for the Saints and fourteen sacks in the
- 28:44Speaker 4: Super Bowl season for the Bengals. Got his first Pro
- 28:46Speaker 4: Bowl nod last year. He was also a Pro Bowler
- 28:48Speaker 4: even though he only had eight sacks, and this year
- 28:52Speaker 4: he's obviously well on his way to another Pro Bowl season,
- 28:54Speaker 4: seventeen tackles, six sacks, win, forced fumble, two pass defended.
- 28:58Speaker 4: And whoever lines up a tackle, you know, obviously you're
- 29:00Speaker 4: hoping Charles Crossing lineup at left tackle for the Hawks
- 29:03Speaker 4: doesn't look like a blue because he's gonna make it
- 29:05Speaker 4: this week, hopefully back to the falling week. So whether
- 29:07Speaker 4: it's Kerhan or Stone, whoever's out there, as long as
- 29:10Speaker 4: you know where Henderson's at, he's a good player and
- 29:12Speaker 4: he's another guy you're gonna want to watch him for
- 29:13Speaker 4: that Seahawks offensive line.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Yeah, he's he's got a motor, he's a baller. He
- 29:19Speaker 5: can get it done.
- 29:20Speaker 6: But I think the Hawks have shown that whoever plays
- 29:23Speaker 6: is going to be serviceable. I don't remember watching the
- 29:26Speaker 6: game at all and saying, what is souls still doing
- 29:28Speaker 6: in there? He's killing the team. Nah, our guy's gonna
- 29:30Speaker 6: lose battles at times. Of course, this is the National
- 29:32Speaker 6: Football League. They got ballers too, But for what's been
- 29:35Speaker 6: happening with that offensive line, they've been pretty solid.
- 29:38Speaker 5: They're gonna have their hands full game this week.
- 29:40Speaker 4: They've only allowed seven sacks pump this year. The Seahawks
- 29:43Speaker 4: offensive line with all those injuries. That's the fourth best
- 29:45Speaker 4: in the National Football League. Only the Bucks Chiefs in
- 29:48Speaker 4: dolphinsive allowed fewer sacks. So that's the thing to hang
- 29:51Speaker 4: your hat on. Shout out to Andy Diggerson doing his
- 29:53Speaker 4: thing up front with these boys. But now let's tell
- 29:56Speaker 4: you how we get the game. One path to victory.
- 30:01Speaker 2: After forty five waits for the snap, Michael Dixon puts
- 30:04Speaker 2: it down.
- 30:05Speaker 5: That kick is away.
- 30:06Speaker 3: If that kick.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Is good, good day off.
- 30:09Speaker 1: When it's good, it's a pass to victory.
- 30:12Speaker 4: On Hawk Talk, do you not let the combo of
- 30:15Speaker 4: Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase build off what they got
- 30:17Speaker 4: going last week? Man Burrow still recovering from the calf injury.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Seems like he's closer to one hundred percent, but I
- 30:22Speaker 4: feeling he's still not as mobile as you know you
- 30:24Speaker 4: normally would be. So you got to get after him.
- 30:27Speaker 4: And we know how talented Jamar Chase is. I've said
- 30:29Speaker 4: it before. Keep him in front, no big plays. Can't
- 30:32Speaker 4: have any sixty five yard touchdowns or anything like that.
- 30:34Speaker 4: He'll find a way to get some yards. He just
- 30:36Speaker 4: can't go off. Yeah, he'll be everywhere. They move him inside, outside,
- 30:40Speaker 4: they'll motion them.
- 30:41Speaker 6: They understand they have to give him the ball, So yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 6: great point there, And then don't allow the Bengals to
- 30:47Speaker 6: do something they haven't done all year, which has look
- 30:48Speaker 6: like a really good run team. We know the potential
- 30:51Speaker 6: is there because Joe Mixon is a good running back,
- 30:53Speaker 6: but let's let's not have them start getting it going
- 30:55Speaker 6: this week and offensively control the clock and run the ball.
- 31:00Speaker 6: The Bengals are allowed one hundred and fifty four yards
- 31:02Speaker 6: a game on the ground, make them prove it.
- 31:04Speaker 5: You got two young running backs back there, mix it up.
- 31:07Speaker 6: We've seen formations with two tight ends in the backfited
- 31:10Speaker 6: ass lead blockers.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Keep that up.
- 31:12Speaker 6: The creativity in the run game has been there, keep
- 31:15Speaker 6: that going and protect you boys. You know you just
- 31:17Speaker 6: mentioned offensive line has done a great job this season
- 31:20Speaker 6: protecting him.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Keep the good times rolling. Yeah, man, And with that said,
- 31:24Speaker 4: let's get the tight ends involved. I feel like some
- 31:25Speaker 4: of the best things the Seahawks jews in those three
- 31:27Speaker 4: tight end sets with Fan, Disley and Parkinson. So keep
- 31:31Speaker 4: them getting involved. And I want to see a big
- 31:33Speaker 4: game from Tyler Lockett.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Man. I feel like when he's quiet for this long and.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Quiet, I mean he's still making good plays, but I
- 31:37Speaker 4: feel like he's ready to have a breakout game. To
- 31:39Speaker 4: watch out for Lockett, I think it's his term. And
- 31:41Speaker 4: get a victory on the road man. This team has
- 31:43Speaker 4: been road warriors. The Hawks are won fifteen of their
- 31:47Speaker 4: last eighteen early kickoffs since twenty eighteen.
- 31:50Speaker 3: So find a way to go one in them. Stack wins.
- 31:52Speaker 4: As I said earlier in the program, this will be
- 31:55Speaker 4: a huge win to go to four and one.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Get a couple more wins.
- 31:57Speaker 4: You got the Browns coming into town all that, so
- 32:00Speaker 4: you want to stack wins before things get tough towards
- 32:02Speaker 4: the end of the season. Remind us, guys, you can

- 32:17Speaker 4: I'm Nasa Troby. This has been another edition of Hawk Talk,
- 32:20Speaker 4: getting you ready for the Seahawks taking on the Cincinnati
- 32:23Speaker 4: Bengals at ten am this Sunday. We are live with
- 32:25Speaker 4: the pregame show at seven am. Until next time, hopefully
- 32:28Speaker 4: we'll talk to you on Monday, talking about a Seahawks
