HOLY FROM THE BEGINNING
The theme for our meditation on this solemnity of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is: Holy From the Beginning. This celebration has been observed by the whole Church since 1845, when on this day Pope Pius IX promulgated the doctrine of Mary conceived without sins, or Mary the Immaculate Conception.
