Neighbor Blasts Car Window With Rifle | Providence News
A neighbor in Little Compton allegedly shattered his car window with a rifle blast — but the shooter, Jacob Harrop, initially claimed he was just scaring off predators. That changed when security footage surfaced showing him firing his gun at 7:49 PM — right around the time the victim heard the noise. Harrop later admitted he was trying to shoot a seagull — and that he shouldn’t have had a gun at all, given a 1998 felony assault conviction.
