Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. Yeah, it's been a good day.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Thank you guys for listening. As always, we appreciate you. Steve,
- 0:09Speaker 1: do you want to close us out with something? Yeah,
- 0:11Speaker 1: we do, right.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's just so. I don't know if
- 0:15Speaker 2: he's a closing remarks or commentary or just some things
- 0:20Speaker 2: I've been thinking. But here we go, you know, just
- 0:25Speaker 2: dealing with society right now today, dealing with all that's
- 0:30Speaker 2: going on globally, watching what's happening here locally, dealing with
- 0:39Speaker 2: the results of other people's decisions. I want to remind
- 0:44Speaker 2: you all of something. Please take care of your family
- 0:50Speaker 2: by taking care of your faith. Make sure that your
- 0:55Speaker 2: faith is in the right place. Because I've been looking around, man,
- 1:01Speaker 2: and I'm seeing this thing turn in a way that
- 1:03Speaker 2: I've never seen it turn before. And I'm talking about
- 1:06Speaker 2: the politics that's going on in this country. Look, listen,
- 1:12Speaker 2: I don't care who you vote for. You could have
- 1:14Speaker 2: voted for Kamala, you could have voted for Biden, you
- 1:16Speaker 2: could have voted for Trump, you could have voted for Obama,
- 1:20Speaker 2: whoever you voted for. I was just thinking about this
- 1:23Speaker 2: the other day. Barack Obama. I voted for him both terms.
- 1:31Speaker 2: He turned out to be a really, really good president.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Now have I heard people complain about things he did.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Of course I have. But that's the job of the
- 1:42Speaker 2: presidency because those that don't vote for you are going
- 1:45Speaker 2: to find something wrong, and those that do will probably
- 1:49Speaker 2: support you. But overall, I thought he did with what
- 1:56Speaker 2: he was working with the best he could. I could
- 2:02Speaker 2: say the same for Joe Biden, and he made down
- 2:07Speaker 2: mistakes he made, but I thought his character as a
- 2:11Speaker 2: person was decent. Here's a problem that I'm faced with today.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Whether you're a Trump supporter or not, whether you're a
- 2:18Speaker 2: Mega supporter or not, or whether you're anti listen to me, man,
- 2:25Speaker 2: if what's going on in this administration today, and these
- 2:28Speaker 2: are just my thoughts, they're kind of all over the
- 2:30Speaker 2: place right now, So forgive me for that. If what's
- 2:33Speaker 2: going on in our administration today, if Barack Obama was
- 2:37Speaker 2: making these exact same decisions, coming to these exact same conclusions,
- 2:46Speaker 2: if he had created ICE, if he had created DOGE
- 2:51Speaker 2: and hired an Elon Musk and allowed him to come
- 2:54Speaker 2: in and gut the government of all these jobs and
- 2:57Speaker 2: positions cost all of these people money. He's cut the Medicaid,
- 3:03Speaker 2: they've cut benefits to veterans. They've come in here, has
- 3:08Speaker 2: cut all the schooling programs, they've reduced snap benefits. They've
- 3:14Speaker 2: been just damaging the common man over and over and over.
- 3:19Speaker 2: If he had claimed If Barack Obama had claimed that
- 3:23Speaker 2: he was giving you the largest tax cuts in the history,
- 3:27Speaker 2: but you found out that those tax cuts were for
- 3:30Speaker 2: the three people that were sitting on the front row
- 3:33Speaker 2: of his inauguration, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk,
- 3:37Speaker 2: then you would have understand, yeah, it's the largest tax cuts.
- 3:41Speaker 2: If he had started this war in Iran, if he
- 3:47Speaker 2: had made any of the contradictory remarks better known as lies,
- 3:53Speaker 2: that this man has done, how long do you think
- 3:57Speaker 2: it would be before they impede Barack Obama, or how
- 4:02Speaker 2: long do you think it would be before his own
- 4:06Speaker 2: party stood up to him and said, hey, wait, what
- 4:09Speaker 2: are you doing? This is non constitutional. That's the problem
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm having. I don't have a problem that you're Republican.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I have a problem that you're a Republican and you
- 4:22Speaker 2: are allowing this man to just do whatever it is
- 4:24Speaker 2: he wants to do. That's the unbelievable part about it.
- 4:29Speaker 2: You know, I was talking to the staff earlier today.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I've always known that racism exists in this country. I'm
- 4:34Speaker 2: fully aware of it. I'm sixty nine years old. It's
- 4:38Speaker 2: been racism here the entire time i've been here, and
- 4:40Speaker 2: I've dealt with it on a lot of levels. I'm
- 4:42Speaker 2: dealing with it today, even where I live. I have
- 4:45Speaker 2: to deal with it. What I did not know was
- 4:50Speaker 2: the level of stupidity in this country. I didn't know
- 4:55Speaker 2: it was this many people, this stupid or ignorant. Now
- 4:59Speaker 2: I know that ignorance. Racism stems from ignorance. I know that,
- 5:05Speaker 2: But I didn't know that it carried over into so
- 5:09Speaker 2: many aspects of your life. Listen, man, I can't watch
- 5:14Speaker 2: anybody that I know do something wrong repeatedly and just
- 5:20Speaker 2: sit there and go along with it. Now. Do I
- 5:25Speaker 2: have friends that I know have done something wrong and
- 5:28Speaker 2: I still supported them? Yeah, because we were friends. Now,
- 5:33Speaker 2: when it was time for him to pay the cost
- 5:36Speaker 2: for his actions, he had to pay was it was
- 5:40Speaker 2: nothing could be done. But did I still call him
- 5:43Speaker 2: and wish him well, tell him to hang in there? Yeah?
- 5:45Speaker 2: I did. But what's happening now with this administration is
- 5:49Speaker 2: decisions are being made about the livelihood of us and
- 5:54Speaker 2: especially for common people. And you're being affected by these things, man,
- 5:58Speaker 2: these gas prices. Wall and Lindsey Graham said he was
- 6:02Speaker 2: gonna go back to his state in the Carolinas and
- 6:04Speaker 2: tell his constituency to send their sons and daughters over
- 6:08Speaker 2: there to fight for against tyranny. Anybody doing that, man,
- 6:13Speaker 2: are you crazy? What's wrong with y'all? Y'all? Remember your
- 6:18Speaker 2: faith in God, trust in people, because if you are
- 6:21Speaker 2: trusting in Man, you are in a world of trouble today.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Those are my close remarks. I know I was all
- 6:27Speaker 2: over the place, but whatever, I ain't even finished. See
- 6:31Speaker 2: y'all the day, see y'all them all. Hey, listen, talk
- 6:33Speaker 2: to God today. He'd absolutely love me. It might well
- 6:36Speaker 2: talk to him because if you listen to anybody else,
- 6:38Speaker 2: you ain't.
