This September, during National Recovery Month, The Nehemiah Project is turning the spotlight on recovery with their annual Recovery Fest—celebrating sobriety, breaking stigma, and honoring the strength it takes to rebuild after addiction. Led by executive director Melissa Rea, who turned her own six-year battle—including prison time—into a mission, the event physically and emotionally showcases what recovery looks like, inviting the community to stand with those healing and reclaiming their lives.
