- 1:25Speaker 2: Welcome to your meditative prayer on healing relationships. To get
- 1:28Speaker 2: the most out of your spiritual journey, use Pray.com every
- 1:31Speaker 2: day and make prayer a priority in your life. Our
- 1:38Speaker 2: goal for today's meditative prayer is healing relationships. I hope
- 1:43Speaker 2: you'll take a moment to calm down. Go to the
- 1:49Speaker 2: place where you feel most at ease and relaxed. And
- 1:55Speaker 2: get yourself in a comfortable position. And when you're ready,
- 2:02Speaker 2: close your eyes. Breathe easy. Imagine the tension in your
- 2:08Speaker 2: body kind of unwinding. That stress and anxiety in your
- 2:13Speaker 2: head and heart slowly calming. Calming. We are going to
- 2:22Speaker 2: be meditating on Romans chapter 14 verse 9 from the
- 2:25Speaker 2: King James Version. Let us therefore make every effort to
- 2:32Speaker 2: do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Let's
- 2:39Speaker 2: take a moment to adore God for edifying our faith. God,
- 2:53Speaker 2: I praise you because you always finish what you start.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I worship you for the power of your own word
- 3:04Speaker 2: that transforms and renews our minds. I sing praises to
- 3:10Speaker 2: your name for you hold the universe in the palm
- 3:14Speaker 2: of your hand. I worship you and the knowledge that
- 3:18Speaker 2: you work out all things for good to those who
- 3:23Speaker 2: love you. Trying to ensure your actions lead to general
- 3:31Speaker 2: peace and improvement can be a duty that's quite exhausting
- 3:37Speaker 2: and daunting. You have a lot of inner conflicts you're
- 3:43Speaker 2: trying to conquer, personal problems to prevail over and staggering
- 3:47Speaker 2: struggles to solve. Yet God expects you to be courteous,
- 3:54Speaker 2: and to care for others. Like pushing a square peg
- 3:59Speaker 2: in a round hole, you cannot fit into the role
- 4:02Speaker 2: God has called you to without his assistance. And sometimes
- 4:08Speaker 2: the pressure is so great that it's easy to want
- 4:11Speaker 2: to give up. Don't lose your heart. Lay it instead
- 4:16Speaker 2: at the feet of Jesus. Tell him about the relationships
- 4:20Speaker 2: that you're having a hard time with. the people and
- 4:22Speaker 2: the situations you're having trouble living in peace with. Confess
- 4:31Speaker 2: and cast your concerns on God because he cares for you.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Now take a moment to dwell on the peace and
- 4:40Speaker 2: the instruction of God in your life. Give thought to
- 4:45Speaker 2: the seasons of turmoil and insecurity God guided you through.
- 4:50Speaker 2: The relationships he helped you rescue and renew. You know,
- 4:58Speaker 2: the Bible says God is good and his mercy endures
- 5:01Speaker 2: from generation to generation. Think now of those areas and
- 5:08Speaker 2: associations you're trying to improve. The relationships and situations you
- 5:16Speaker 2: are trying to bring peace to, trying to edify. In
- 5:21Speaker 2: your mind's eye, envision God's provision for those circumstances. Helping
- 5:30Speaker 2: for those circumstances happening and thank Him for it. God
- 5:36Speaker 2: is present. He is listening to you. Even if your
- 5:40Speaker 2: efforts seem futile, don't give up. Outwork the struggles and inconveniences.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Push past the discord, the disagreements. Peace is closer than
- 5:54Speaker 2: you think. Your efforts to help others improve has a
- 6:01Speaker 2: greater impact than you will ever know. Ask God to
- 6:07Speaker 2: give you the strength to reach your full potential in
- 6:11Speaker 2: this moment. To create peace wherever you go and to
- 6:17Speaker 2: motivate others to do the same. Remember, God has called
- 6:23Speaker 2: you to peace and to inspire edification. Although this objective
- 6:29Speaker 2: again can be tough, God has and will provide all
- 6:35Speaker 2: you need to accomplish it and to do so well.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Be confident that God who began a good work in
- 6:44Speaker 2: you will carry it through to completion. You must try
- 6:50Speaker 2: your best to live in harmony with everyone and always
- 6:53Speaker 2: be working towards improvement. To do things that not only entertain,
- 6:59Speaker 2: but enlighten as well. Pressing toward the goal that is
- 7:04Speaker 2: in Christ Jesus. You will be a blessing to all.
