Pikas, Mountain Goats, and the Milky Way
Marjorie and I had a lovely trip up into the Cascades this past weekend, the highlights of which were pikas, a mountain goat, and the Milky Way. We were backpacking just past the Kendall Katwalk—the famous ledge of rock blasted into a shear rock face in 1975—and spent the night near Ridge Lake., about eight miles from Snoqualmie Pass.
