  Speaker 1: So let's jump into the verse of the day and

  Speaker 1: then we'll kind of just let the spirit roam and

  Speaker 1: John chapter 6, verse 35 states, Then Jesus said to them,

  Speaker 1: I am the bread that gives life to people. Anyone

  Speaker 1: who comes to me will never be hungry. Anyone who

  Speaker 1: believes in me will never be thirsty. See, when these
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: verses are talking about bread and we're talking about hungry
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: and talking about being thirsty, It's not all necessarily about
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: food and hydration. It's more of the depths of the
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: fruits of the Spirit. Being patient, being kind, being considerate. Now,

  Speaker 1: those that have the fruits of the Spirit, we don't
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: necessarily use them all consistently. Nobody's perfect. Nobody's Jesus. And

  Speaker 1: that's what we have to realize when We're around other believers,
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: other followers. Like, there's no one that's like Jesus. Even
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: though it says in the Bible that Jesus said that
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: we would do even greater things than him. But what
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: are these greater things that we could do or that
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: we are doing, right? There's so many followers of Christ
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: that are Not just building buildings to have people come in.

  Speaker 1: They're actually doing the will of God. By helping the
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: next sick and suffering. Whether they're alcoholics, whether they're drug addicts,
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: whether they're addicted to certain things. Whatever the case may be, right?
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: It's up to us that have the Holy Spirit in us.
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: To be able to not save people, but direct them
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: to Jesus' will. Spirit that saves. Amen? So, I want
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: to dive deeper into John, because John is such a great,
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: such a great chapter that really is good for whether
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: you're new in your walk with Christ, new as a believer,
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: if you're curious, and that was John chapter 6, verse 10.

  Speaker 1: No, that was not 10. But we're going to go

  Speaker 1: to 10 because Spears is leading me that way. So

  Speaker 1: John chapter 6 verse 10 states, again, Jesus said, Jesus said,

  Speaker 1: tell the people to sit down. There was plenty of
• 4:03
  Speaker 1: grass in that place. So the people sat down. There
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: were about 5,000 men in the crowd. Verse 11, Jesus
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: took the loaves of bread and he thanked God for them.
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: Then he broke the loaves into pieces. He passed them
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: to all the people who were sitting there. Everyone had
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: as much bread as they needed. As they wanted to eat.
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: Jesus did the same with the fish. So let's dive
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: deeper into this. Because the Holy Spirit is... Really trying
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: to take full control of this episode. And I let it.
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: I let it. And that's a choice. I don't have
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: to necessarily sit here or stand or walk and act
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: like this is just all my show. Yeah, I'm the platform, right?

  Speaker 1: But at the same time, it's also... It's a choice
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: to do God's will. That's why it's something that's not forced.

  Speaker 1: So we're talking about... How Jesus took... Little... And multiplied.

  Speaker 2: The verses that... I've just covered... Also indicate that.

  Speaker 1: We're serving... A God.
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: That is in the business of multiplying. Multiplying your blessings.

  Speaker 1: Multiplying your joy. Multiplying your peace. This reassurance. That nobody

  Speaker 1: can take away from me. This joy. That nobody can
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: take away from me. I don't boast in it. I
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: boast in the Holy Spirit. And I want you the
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: listener to hear this. It is not for the weak,
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: like people think, following Christ or believing in Christ, right?
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: It is more in the depths of realizing that it
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: is a choice. And to have that choice of free will,
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: that's why God made us the way he made us.
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: He didn't force us to love him. He didn't make robots.
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: And that's how you can tell somebody that has the
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: fruits of the Spirit. That's how you can tell that
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: somebody loves God because they talk about God. They not
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: only just share their testimony and what they've gone through,
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: but they share who came through. And the Lord Jesus
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: Christ with the Holy Spirit, it don't matter what circumstances
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: that you are facing. The power of prayer. The power
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: of having that relationship. No matter what the outcomes may be.
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: Keeps you safe. Keeps you safe. And there is a
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: purpose and a plan. Even when bad things happen. God
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: can turn it around for the good. And I say can.
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: But you have to be willing to surrender to him.
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: And give it up. There's no way that I can
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: be able to help you comprehend this more. But what
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: I can do is break down these verses. And that's
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: what I do. And John chapter 6 verse 12 states,
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: and then we'll kind of close out. When everyone had
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: eaten enough food, Jesus said to his disciples, Do not
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: waste anything. Pick up all the little bits of food
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: that people have not eaten. So the disciples picked up
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: all the bits. They filled twelve baskets with the bits
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: of board that the people had not eaten. Why do
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: you think Jesus said this? Why do you think that
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: Jesus told his disciples to not waste? And this is
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: another reason why maybe I do not like seeing food wasted.
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: It's because understanding this verse... Is understanding that what God gives,
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: not to waste. Not to be able to, you know,
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: forgive me for the background noise. I'm doing this outside.

  Speaker 1: You might hear other voices. People are talking. And the
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: truth of the matter is, because I'm a true seeker.
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: Because I'm connected to the source. I'm connected to the truth.

  Speaker 1: Not everybody likes me. I'm not everybody's cup of tea.

  Speaker 1: And Jesus is a representation of that. Jesus said that
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: we would be prosecuted. Jesus said that we would be
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: called crazy. Jesus said that we would be, the world
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: would not want anything to do with us. The world
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: would spit us out. Chew us up and spit us out.
• 9:29
  Speaker 1: You know? So it's like the truth of the matter is,
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: no matter the distractions as well, we have to serve Jesus.
• 9:43
  Speaker 2: How do we do that?
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: How do we do that? We deny our flesh. Now
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: that doesn't mean that we're going to be perfect. There's
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: going to be times where you just don't know how
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: you're going to make ends meet. You're going to stress.

  Speaker 1: You're going to be under pressure. But having that ability
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: to be able to rely on a higher source than you.
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: Because you do have a spirit inside of you. You
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: do have a soul. You do have a mind. You do.
• 10:17
  Speaker 2: Have abilities.
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: And a lot of us take those abilities for granted.
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: You know, it being, I am 11 minutes in. I
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: want you, the listener, to know that if you didn't
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: hear anything that I've said or really listened, I want
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: you to listen to this. Going to church is great.

  Speaker 1: Reading the Bible is great. Praising Jesus is great, but
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: you want to know what's greater than all those things?
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: Having the true relationship with Jesus Christ and allowing the
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit to dwell in you. Or you can have
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: the other choice of allowing your spirit to run things,
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: your will to run things. Or you can drink, smoke, drugs, whatever,
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: and have other spirits run your life. It's up to you.
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: And take it from somebody that for 20 years was
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: an alcoholic. For 20 years also a drug addict. Anything
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: that I liked I wanted more of it. And it's
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: not just oh because I believed in Jesus. Oh just
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: because I got baptized. Oh I'm saved. No what really
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: saved me was turning away from what was trying to
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: destroy me. See at first things that we consume things
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: that are good to us doesn't mean it's good to
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: god it's not glorifying god but to have us have
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: the ability to be able to turn away from that
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: we can't do that on our own and you need
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: to get around like-minded people you need to be around
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: people that actually want to strive because 80 percent of
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: success and i'm not just talking about finances i'm talking
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: about success in general because god wants us to prosper
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: 80% of it is just avoiding the wrong people. We
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: have time, we have efforts, we have energies, and we
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: only have so much in a day. We have 24
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: hours in a day. So just keep that in mind.
• 12:33

  Speaker 1: turn against me, the same way... That Peter turned against Jesus.

  Speaker 1: And Jesus knew it was going to happen. He didn't

  Speaker 1: call Peter out until it was time. Until they were
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: face to face. But then he did call him out.
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: He said that you will deny me three times. Right?
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: But it's not like he called him out in such
• 13:16
  Speaker 1: a public way. And there's so much more that I'm learning...
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: about following Christ. Because the people that are in your
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: life or the people that you have rubbed the wrong way, right?
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: They're never going to see what God sees in you.
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: But there will be people that God will place in
• 13:44
  Speaker 1: your life that will never leave. They will never leave.
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: No matter what you try to push them away, it
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: doesn't matter. And when you think that you have pushed
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: them away, the power of prayer. And it's not in
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: an egotistic way. I got one minute, so I want
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: you to understand this, the listener. This version of me
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: allowing the Holy Spirit to strive... When I am praying
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: and I don't know what to pray about, the Holy
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: Spirit just takes over. I don't even have to say words.
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: I just have to grunt. I just have to keep
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: my mind focused on Jesus. And everything else comes in
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: together like pieces to a puzzle. Glory to God. Glory
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: to Jesus. Glory to the Holy Spirit. I thank you
