- 0:24Speaker 2: And I was like, you didn't You didn't calculate walk time,
- 0:28Speaker 2: which is another between and he does.
- 0:34Speaker 1: This is why we all go hungry during vault tours too,
- 0:37Speaker 1: by the way, like we try to go to lunch
- 0:42Speaker 1: and by the time it's dinner, we're able to go
- 0:45Speaker 1: eat something.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Well, speaking of going to getting hungry at vault tours,
- 0:49Speaker 3: So so Josh, here's one thing you gotta do when
- 0:53Speaker 3: the food truck comes. Don't have it come for lunch
- 0:56Speaker 3: because we have got an hour. Have it come from
- 0:58Speaker 3: dinner when like we're trying trying to like quickly grab
- 1:02Speaker 3: a bite.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Wait, what are you guys talking about? Are you talking
- 1:06Speaker 1: about like for KFC at Roosevelt? Ye, I can't wait.
- 1:09Speaker 1: We don't have a vault to it at Roosevelt anymore.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Dumb dumb, well.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Whatever KFC like, because that's when we're like hungry and
- 1:16Speaker 3: if we leave will miss stuff, right because like you jump,
- 1:19Speaker 3: we jump right from the tournament into like whatever that
- 1:21Speaker 3: evening thing.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Is top eight. So and then after I see is
- 1:28Speaker 1: when we go drinking, jump and jump ball strippers. I
- 1:32Speaker 1: like how sheep thinks, well, I sing.
- 1:36Speaker 4: You at this word message and I don't see an answer, sir,
- 1:39Speaker 4: there's been two business days.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Did you submit it to Did you submit it to
- 1:44Speaker 1: the support link?
- 1:46Speaker 4: No?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Because I heard Josh's only answering things on discord that
- 1:50Speaker 1: have to deal with that runner.
- 1:52Speaker 4: I asked him a question as a Keyboards tournament top
- 1:56Speaker 4: eight attendee, not as a did you organized?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Did you submit it through the support link?
- 2:02Speaker 4: No? Because why? Why? Why is the player okay? Employees?
- 2:11Speaker 1: So you're like the same person. We're like, hey, Josh,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I want to sell this deck? Was that what it does?
- 2:17Speaker 4: I like one of them better, and I won't tell
- 2:19Speaker 4: you which one.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I mean, the one who bribes you for good decks
- 2:26Speaker 2: at events. We know which one you like better.
- 2:31Speaker 4: You can't afford me?
- 2:33Speaker 5: Uh, that's true. We saw c DP wants to pay
- 2:38Speaker 5: his folks.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So yeah, more than one twenty huh m hm for

- 2:45Speaker 5: Now for a quarter for.
- 2:47Speaker 1: A mammon, it's gone. Oh god, damn. Hopefullytion is real.
- 2:52Speaker 4: But what's going on?
- 2:54Speaker 1: What's going on? Everybody? I'm the one, the only the

- 3:09Speaker 5: I love it.
- 3:09Speaker 3: This is Drascore, I do the Draz score, and my
- 3:13Speaker 3: name is Dras Corps and his name is.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Drasor we've got doctor m Sheep now and the Ewokist

- 3:27Speaker 6: Glad to be here, Glad that it's only costing four
- 3:30Speaker 6: and a quorded to stroke some sweet sweet beard.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'll only charge you a bucket a quarter can touch
- 3:36Speaker 1: my beard for free. My beard, My beard's even more
- 3:41Speaker 1: luscious than Mammon's fight words. I mean, have you seen
- 3:50Speaker 1: my beard when it gets along? It's very luscious?
- 3:53Speaker 5: And then we haven't.
- 3:54Speaker 4: That's why we're talking about it.
- 3:55Speaker 5: We haven't seen you speak.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I just saw you on Tuesday, speaking of Mammon problem.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Mammon into today, fellow e slash Team redacted member or
- 4:07Speaker 1: is I like to call it Team redact? Did bruh act? Okay, anyways,
- 4:16Speaker 1: we're here to I'm so glad that joke. Yeah, it's
- 4:24Speaker 1: not great, but it's time to talk alliance. All the
- 4:29Speaker 1: things that were and weren't and now are Is this
- 4:35Speaker 1: the shortest I think this might be.
- 4:36Speaker 5: I was going to say, we're done, right guys.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeap, what the Alliance? Nobody knows?
- 4:45Speaker 5: I do?
- 4:46Speaker 3: I do have a short topic before we get into
- 4:49Speaker 3: the Alliance update. Well, I guess, I guess I got
- 4:52Speaker 3: a couple of short topics right quickly. Store Champs. Store
- 4:55Speaker 3: Champ season is starting. If you're in the Philadelphia area,
- 4:58Speaker 3: come check out games Keeps. We're playing this Sunday, although
- 5:03Speaker 3: I guess I don't know when this comes out. Sunday,
- 5:05Speaker 3: the eighth Zarkan Sunday, the twenty second is sealed, and
- 5:11Speaker 3: we'll squeeze Alliance in someday when you probably can't make it,
- 5:15Speaker 3: and maybe they'll just be one deck Alliance or something.
- 5:19Speaker 3: But who knows, maybe we'll do Alliance for real. But
- 5:24Speaker 3: maybe this conversation will get me pumped up.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Excited about our alliance event we all.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Say, do we want to tell everybody how we're running
- 5:34Speaker 1: our Star Championships.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I don't know if someone were to show up to
- 5:40Speaker 4: the games Keep in Westchester on Sunday, what time would
- 5:43Speaker 4: they want to be there?
- 5:45Speaker 1: We want to be there's good well, good thing.
- 5:50Speaker 4: I knew that and asked you.
- 5:55Speaker 3: That in our discard, didn't I clearly that clearly? Yeah,
- 5:59Speaker 3: you even know what's time to show up for this.
- 6:01Speaker 3: It says right there, key forgers our gout store Champs
- 6:04Speaker 3: this Sunday at two thirty p side up for here.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Now readings in there.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I signed up. I just didn't read to think.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Readings either fundamental or overrated depending on who you talk.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Actually, I got a ping folks again, we only have
- 6:19Speaker 3: six sign ups so far, so I got arrest dragon eight.
- 6:23Speaker 1: He's like, maybe, guess how many we had at our
- 6:26Speaker 1: locals this week?
- 6:28Speaker 5: How many you have to guess?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Okay, all right, all right, so here my guess is
- 6:34Speaker 3: your comment. So I'm gonna say it was more.
- 6:40Speaker 1: What well he counted to three in Spanish. Four Just
- 6:46Speaker 1: think I'm gonna say you had a full eight. We
- 6:49Speaker 1: had a full We had a full eight. It was bananas.
- 6:55Speaker 5: It was great.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Wow.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah, we had a full eight. Week are new local
- 7:00Speaker 1: that can come every other week, So he's not a
- 7:03Speaker 1: weekly attender, but he's in every other week er. You know,
- 7:06Speaker 1: he's like a weekend dad, right, he only gets to
- 7:08Speaker 1: gets out of the house every other week. Yeah, I
- 7:13Speaker 1: mean that's fine, but yeah, we had everybody showed up,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and then we we finally ironed out what we will
- 7:22Speaker 1: be doing for our store championships. Sheep, how are we
- 7:27Speaker 1: running our store championships? Josh, you might want to mute
- 7:30Speaker 1: for this one. Actually, we don't care.
- 7:34Speaker 2: All of our stuff is totally legal. We are not
- 7:36Speaker 2: cheating any of our events are ARCon is going to
- 7:39Speaker 2: be actual ARCon. Only one person is excited for that,
- 7:43Speaker 2: but so be it. We'll put some actual ARCon and.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Then listen to them. Who's the one person? Nope, no names,
- 7:51Speaker 5: no names, no name for hurting JR.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Now no, it's it's the person who's always wrong. And
- 8:05Speaker 2: then we're we're being cheap and we're playing single decks
- 8:09Speaker 2: sealed for the Sealed week, so open hot ter, go home,
- 8:14Speaker 2: and then the Exciting week is one of our other
- 8:18Speaker 2: local stores that does not run key Forge events and
- 8:21Speaker 2: has any anything Keyfardge related in years finally put their
- 8:27Speaker 2: three hundred and fifty a away decks on sale down
- 8:32Speaker 2: to a dollar fifty a deck, which means you can
- 8:34Speaker 2: get a box for like eighteen dollars, nineteen dollars with
- 8:38Speaker 2: tax or whatever it was. So that's it. We are
- 8:41Speaker 2: every for Alliance week, we're playing one box AOA Alliance.
- 8:46Speaker 5: We're going Alliance to the masses.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Wow, look, I think we need to do something like
- 8:53Speaker 4: we did last year.
- 8:55Speaker 1: We did what do we do that? We did talk
- 8:58Speaker 1: and whoa right dirty?
- 9:01Speaker 4: We didn't hit open three pick one of three different
- 9:06Speaker 4: sets for sealed, and then I think everyone had to
- 9:10Speaker 4: pick at least one, and then Alliance was one top
- 9:14Speaker 4: one low Alliance sealed and then you just had to
- 9:17Speaker 4: pick which one got reported because app that's not legal.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, we're also for one of our other stores,
- 9:26Speaker 2: We're going World's Collide Alliance. Yeah, because I have two
- 9:32Speaker 2: boxes of store Champ decks that we never opened, and
- 9:36Speaker 2: Sydney has at least two boxes of Worlds Collide from
- 9:39Speaker 2: the fire sale that has never been opened. So that's it.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And we're not even gonna charge were just people are
- 9:44Speaker 2: show up. We're gonna give what World's Clide deck and
- 9:46Speaker 2: we're gonna play.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I said for the Alliance World's Collide, World Alliance Worlds Collide,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you are allowed to take three barb narpods and then
- 9:58Speaker 1: just make one deck. Do you have to if you
- 10:03Speaker 1: have nine drawn nine toes, maybe that's okay. Yeah, it's allowed.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Like I'm thinking that should be a rule zero that
- 10:12Speaker 1: if you you are allowed, the only house you're allowed
- 10:15Speaker 1: to do it with is.
- 10:18Speaker 2: If you're unlucky enough to open three.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yes and you are allowed, you just guess, I guess
- 10:28Speaker 1: what house I'm calling? Yeah, I think that's.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Then somebody's gonna somebody's gonna have the arrest maverick Er
- 10:39Speaker 2: Legacy rest like.
- 10:42Speaker 4: And you're gonna be like, this is the game?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Ever, That's what That's what I do, I mister perfect
- 10:51Speaker 1: and just clean up my ship and go home, no problem.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I mean, man and week god theory, do we could
- 11:03Speaker 3: do AOA Carl does have AOA for seven dollars?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Could do like that's not twenty dollars a box which
- 11:11Speaker 2: makes it fun?
- 11:12Speaker 4: Now yeah, I think we bought him out of World's collide,
- 11:16Speaker 4: But yeah, is there another Pisa?
- 11:19Speaker 2: See?
- 11:19Speaker 4: But now here's more. Here's what I'm ao and something else.
- 11:24Speaker 1: We are digging into, like the archives of like what
- 11:29Speaker 1: do we have available right and as sets like.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Just to mix it up, Like I don't even know.
- 11:36Speaker 1: If it's to mix it up, because well maybe for
- 11:38Speaker 1: your cases, but for ours it's like like I think
- 11:42Speaker 1: the only thing we have enough available to even like
- 11:45Speaker 1: do like a Sealed Alliance with would be whoa like ours.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Enough amber skies and enough more mass mutation in stuff.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Oh that's true for us to run either of those,
- 11:58Speaker 2: but the issue is, like nobody really wants to pay
- 12:04Speaker 2: fifty dollars to play Sealed Alliance for either of those sets, right,
- 12:11Speaker 2: And that's the problem is Sealed Alliance is fifty bucks
- 12:14Speaker 2: for Store Champs, which is you know, like nobody really
- 12:19Speaker 2: at least our area, especially since you know, between us
- 12:24Speaker 2: and Chicago we have four store Champs, So nobody really
- 12:27Speaker 2: wants to spend fifty dollars multiple times to play functionally
- 12:32Speaker 2: the same events. So that's why we that's why in
- 12:35Speaker 2: our area, we're just trying to come up with silly
- 12:37Speaker 2: ways to run.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Well, I'm just wondering when, like, because eventually we're gonna
- 12:42Speaker 1: because I mean, I don't know, gr sold out, quick pvs,
- 12:46Speaker 1: sold out quicker. Well, what happens when we're just like
- 12:50Speaker 1: and what sealed product do we got and we're down
- 12:53Speaker 1: to like discovery? Yeah, I mean, like I don't like
- 13:00Speaker 1: these sharp print runs are like a thing, but it's like, hey,
- 13:04Speaker 1: let's sell out of the product and then announce a
- 13:06Speaker 1: Sealed Star Championship. It seems seems like bad planning. I
- 13:11Speaker 1: don't know you can.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You can order Ambertis Guys, g R, End, Crucial Clash.
- 13:19Speaker 5: I thought was sold out.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Now you can order all three of those from I
- 13:23Speaker 2: think King Order g R. What was the one that
- 13:28Speaker 2: was sold out?
- 13:29Speaker 4: Uh? I don't have an answer to that question, but
- 13:32Speaker 4: I did just remember what Draz told me just last week,
- 13:37Speaker 4: is about to come to our store, and I know
- 13:40Speaker 4: now what we can do for Sealed Alliance, and it'll
- 13:42Speaker 4: make me so happy because it'll make Liam so upset.
- 13:45Speaker 4: No what it is you Carl ordered.
- 13:50Speaker 2: The order d T.
- 13:54Speaker 3: It was like, oh, yeah, I got a bunch of
- 13:57Speaker 3: and he was like, oh and I think we were
- 13:59Speaker 3: out of the DT. So I got a Dark Tidings.
- 14:01Speaker 3: So I got that. I was like, oh, well, I
- 14:04Speaker 3: guess you already did it.
- 14:06Speaker 5: I'm not going to tell you that was wrong. And
- 14:09Speaker 5: that's the saddest.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Okay, Yes, Discovery Elkins, g R, Crucible Clash, Hamber Skies
- 14:20Speaker 2: and and Dark Tidings are still available from Ghost Galaxy Direct.
- 14:28Speaker 2: You could also still get the mid Age and Unchanged
- 14:32Speaker 2: as well. If that If that does anything for you.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I don't know what those are your first folks, You
- 14:37Speaker 4: and your store can also do three deck sealed Dark
- 14:40Speaker 4: Tidings alliance for your store champs.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you too, lose your player.
- 14:49Speaker 4: That's the best part is Liam's going to be the
- 14:51Speaker 4: only one who's truly intent and I know he's not
- 14:53Speaker 4: going anywhere.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I keep it.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Blame take that. Yeah, so make sure you guys go
- 15:02Speaker 1: to your local Star Championships. It will be a good
- 15:06Speaker 1: time had by all. Maybe not. I am not one
- 15:09Speaker 1: hundred percent sure, King O Black, I don't know having
- 15:11Speaker 1: any fun.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, Jenka, and you don't. You will
- 15:17Speaker 2: complain for the rest of the night.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Yes, there is a high probability that certain combos can
- 15:22Speaker 6: show up and it's going to be real, real good.
- 15:24Speaker 6: But the short bit is for for the cost of
- 15:28Speaker 6: just honestly, what four dollars more than a regular deck,
- 15:33Speaker 6: you're getting a whole box that it's twelve decks to
- 15:35Speaker 6: just have fun with. I think it's a great choice.
- 15:39Speaker 6: Is going to be great, yeah, but even well, but
- 15:41Speaker 6: for for us guys, this used to be where we
- 15:44Speaker 6: held our locals at the pandemic, and as the pandemic happened,
- 15:48Speaker 6: then they shut down the store and now they have
- 15:49Speaker 6: multiple other stores, but they just never open back up
- 15:53Speaker 6: in our area, and they've held onto the product so
- 15:57Speaker 6: that they were a bit stingy. We can say that
- 16:00Speaker 6: for giving out prize support. So this is kind of
- 16:02Speaker 6: like price support for us. All of these decks at
- 16:05Speaker 6: a great price, right, I.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Mean, it's a la twenty bucks box.
- 16:09Speaker 5: It's about right, it is about right.
- 16:12Speaker 6: Finally, Well, they had been charging I went in there
- 16:14Speaker 6: a couple of months ago and they were still trying
- 16:16Speaker 6: to charge ten dollars for every single deck, and I
- 16:19Speaker 6: just I told them, like, no, no, no, I'm gonna
- 16:22Speaker 6: laugh at you that this is not going to go anywhere.
- 16:24Speaker 5: You're gonna have to lower that one.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Well they did it, and now I think they're gonna
- 16:30Speaker 2: sell a bunch because I posted it around some other
- 16:33Speaker 2: Wisconsin groups so they could buy it up too.
- 16:36Speaker 5: No, why would edie.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Because it's fun to open trash and play it, I guess,
- 16:46Speaker 2: especially when it's that cheap.
- 16:49Speaker 4: When a state smell of those f FD decks with
- 16:52Speaker 4: the scratchy paper cards.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Different a tolf of that ink.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, that was back when brobnar smelled bad.
- 17:06Speaker 1: They actually the cards between their toes, like, yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It's not this new good that they like to sort
- 17:14Speaker 2: of put in in Ghost Galaxy decks.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Alrighty, let's uh, let's go through the Alliance restricted list.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Some things have been added to the Alliance restricted list.
- 17:30Speaker 1: It's that they they released this U people.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so we you know, we are not Alliance experts
- 17:40Speaker 3: to the point where when we're like, do we know
- 17:41Speaker 3: any Alliance experts? And I was like, oh ma, alliance,
- 17:46Speaker 3: So I reached out to the.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Middle before we do this.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I got beef.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Got beef when Nick asked me if I could come
- 17:56Speaker 4: on this week, or more accurately, asked me if she
- 17:59Speaker 4: had already ask me, uh, I just said yes, and
- 18:03Speaker 4: I had not finished listening till last week's episode. And
- 18:07Speaker 4: then I finished listening to it, only to hear at
- 18:09Speaker 4: the very end, oh, well, well, who's a good Alliance expert? Well,
- 18:13Speaker 4: Blaine's in the chat. Oh he said, no, well, Mammon
- 18:16Speaker 4: has a beard. I mean you, I mean, well, who's
- 18:24Speaker 4: the market that we know? And then I didn't come
- 18:27Speaker 4: up at all until we're down to default in too
- 18:29Speaker 4: facial hair?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean no, lies detected. I don't understand the problem.
- 18:35Speaker 6: It could have been detected that you didn't even have
- 18:38Speaker 6: facial hair. I mean, we could have gone we could
- 18:41Speaker 6: have wrong, We could have gone to that low using
- 18:44Speaker 6: corregg I can't.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Even imagine you without facial hair, like at this point
- 18:49Speaker 1: me either. Yeah, I think next to her, you should
- 18:54Speaker 1: just become clean shaven.
- 18:56Speaker 5: What if some take a shave and just like a.
- 19:01Speaker 4: High fade and pop collar, take a collection. I'll split
- 19:09Speaker 4: it with Charity.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Well you heard it here first, Charity at least for
- 19:16Speaker 1: a quarter now, So what's what's the number we got
- 19:19Speaker 1: to get to? What's what's the.
- 19:23Speaker 4: At least you just keep telling me the number and
- 19:25Speaker 4: I'll tell you what it's good.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Okay, we'll set up something on dress score dot com.
- 19:30Speaker 6: So that was your biggest beef after hearing the last episode, Great, guys,
- 19:33Speaker 6: we did.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I really tuned you guys out until I heard
- 19:39Speaker 4: my name and then from there it was all downhill.
- 19:44Speaker 5: I'm okay with this.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Let's be honest. We haven't been ourselves lately. Right, we
- 19:49Speaker 1: were too nice to too nice to Josh.
- 19:53Speaker 4: I don't see why it has to start now.
- 19:55Speaker 1: We were too nice nice to uh Luke, right.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:05Speaker 1: So we should have been like your faces stupid or
- 20:11Speaker 1: some wow like a you know, I feel like we
- 20:16Speaker 1: have better creativity than that. We'll see where the night goes.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But anyways, back to the Alliance restricted list. Coming off
- 20:25Speaker 1: the list are both Chronos and Hellifax. I understand they're
- 20:33Speaker 1: separated in two sections. Number one, number one. There is
- 20:39Speaker 1: why I understand why we have show.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Notes, but this is stupid.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Number one. I feel like nobody cares. Well do we
- 20:51Speaker 1: care about Chronos?
- 20:53Speaker 2: I mean, Alliance season one was part of the decks
- 20:58Speaker 2: that really work.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that there are some good mess nutation
- 21:06Speaker 4: stuff that was just all speed, like it was just
- 21:09Speaker 4: all gas becas of pronus and but good enough anymore.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I know that one's going to be meaningful.
- 21:17Speaker 6: But that that was at the Yeah, that was at
- 21:19Speaker 6: the state where you saw whoa when woe just be dropped. No,
- 21:25Speaker 6: but like I think that once you saw woe kind
- 21:28Speaker 6: of see over. The sets after Woe just continue to
- 21:32Speaker 6: increase in severity. And I don't think Chronos is anything
- 21:35Speaker 6: to worry about.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Is there a potential for a.
- 21:40Speaker 1: MM resurgence, Well, an MM with UH.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Withros being maybe part of something that's important in furnaces back,
- 21:52Speaker 2: there's in furness still restricted whatever stealth mode came off, right, Yes, that's.
- 21:59Speaker 4: What I have.
- 22:01Speaker 1: What I have?
- 22:02Speaker 5: He hasn't gotten to that.
- 22:03Speaker 1: We haven't gotten to that yet.
- 22:04Speaker 2: But why that problem is something that might be a
- 22:08Speaker 2: thing in World's clide? Right?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Why?
- 22:12Speaker 5: Why?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Why do I have a problem with stealth mode?
- 22:15Speaker 5: All right?
- 22:15Speaker 6: So the three cards are Corona's Helifast stealth mode. Great,
- 22:18Speaker 6: Why do you have a problem with stealth.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Mode because it's stealth mode is the same the reason
- 22:23Speaker 1: we just did all the rod as an arkan the
- 22:27Speaker 1: same thing, like stealth mode is just they said they
- 22:31Speaker 1: took an off list due to it not being not
- 22:34Speaker 1: being represented. Okay, stealth boat has been played in the past,
- 22:37Speaker 1: but we saw the decks dropping representation as the most
- 22:40Speaker 1: recent sets began to rise. You saw it dropping representation
- 22:44Speaker 1: because you put it on the restricted list. That's not
- 22:47Speaker 1: why you saw it dropping representation. Like they like that?
- 22:52Speaker 5: That that is that is.
- 22:53Speaker 4: The is we put a couple of things on the
- 22:57Speaker 4: restricted list, and no one was choosing that one over
- 23:00Speaker 4: the other one. But I'm with you, like.
- 23:02Speaker 2: It stealth mode, isn't it an mm? So don't listen
- 23:05Speaker 2: to me, it's a world's glide.
- 23:06Speaker 5: It is a world's clide.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Vaultmaster twenty three, I think yes. But the whole reason
- 23:13Speaker 1: for putting stealth mode on there was the same reason
- 23:15Speaker 1: we changed cards like ask again later and even then,
- 23:24Speaker 1: even with stealth mode being restricted, stealth mode still saw play.
- 23:29Speaker 1: That's how good it was. But the idea that like
- 23:33Speaker 1: stealth mode because because it dropted representation, we think it's
- 23:39Speaker 1: okay to take it off. Now you don't even know
- 23:41Speaker 1: why you ban the AI writes the articles doesn't matter.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I guess, so they removed stealth mode.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Actually correct, stealth mode was played last.
- 23:57Speaker 1: It was maybe because you limited at one.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Per doesn't matter factually correct.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Okay, Uh, it was intended to further increase earlier set
- 24:08Speaker 1: usage and a viability. So I mean I guess that
- 24:13Speaker 1: it is going they desperately need to do, right, Yeah, because.
- 24:19Speaker 5: I mean, we're just gonna see. But I don't know.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know about the case. But
- 24:26Speaker 1: if that's the case, why is key abduction on there?
- 24:29Speaker 1: Because I guess key abduction is just too good?
- 24:33Speaker 5: Yeah, because you can cycle for the g R loop
- 24:36Speaker 5: with key abduction.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Is it seemed like it was pretty strong.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's limit one because you can already recur it
- 24:45Speaker 4: by putting some effort in, so not even needing to
- 24:49Speaker 4: do that is where it gets too strong.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Uh, the only other.
- 24:55Speaker 4: You can still have a good.
- 24:58Speaker 6: Deduction, but you gotta work for I think that going
- 25:02Speaker 6: ahead and pulling stealth mode office actually fine. I have
- 25:05Speaker 6: no problem with stealth mode being here and having the
- 25:08Speaker 6: control that it brings for just.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Against the decks that loop stealth mode every turn.
- 25:14Speaker 6: Yeah I have yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 4: My big issue with stealth moat coming up is that
- 25:20Speaker 4: the reasoning doesn't line up good reasons for other things
- 25:24Speaker 4: that they don't like, which is too much at least
- 25:27Speaker 4: in the liance like too much just like one sided things.
- 25:30Speaker 4: And that's what stealth mod does is it makes your
- 25:33Speaker 4: your alliance game more one sided.
- 25:34Speaker 6: You know, I agree with that statement right there, but
- 25:38Speaker 6: I will tell you I think stealth mode being there
- 25:40Speaker 6: with the control piece again, Yes, I have played against
- 25:42Speaker 6: stealth mode lockout, but it is recursion in the ability
- 25:46Speaker 6: to cycle it, so I'm fine with that. It's the
- 25:49Speaker 6: same with control the week at stealth mode being there.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I'm fine.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Sealth mo lot could still yeh, radically lose to PV
- 25:57Speaker 2: because PV can still fire. It's you can't place after
- 26:01Speaker 2: you stealth mode, isn't.
- 26:04Speaker 4: It also in sept with an A set at least
- 26:06Speaker 4: with scrambler Storm.
- 26:08Speaker 1: No, that is not scrambler Storm. I believe was only
- 26:12Speaker 1: was scramblers Storm in the worlds Clyde. I don't believe so.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Because the.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Stealth mode was in World's Collide and then it is
- 26:20Speaker 5: in VM.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Yes, scrambling where a scrambler storm scrambler storm.
- 26:31Speaker 3: If you look at Carl Dex with stealth mode and
- 26:33Speaker 3: scrambler Storm in them, there's only thirteen.
- 26:37Speaker 2: They're all legacy scrambler storms.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, so but there are thirteen of them in
- 26:46Speaker 4: what sets? Though, I feel like that matters.
- 26:48Speaker 2: That's a world Yeah, there's a couple something not important.
- 26:54Speaker 2: What's this circle with a star set? Oh yeah, un
- 26:57Speaker 2: chained So yeah, that doesn't.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Matter, right and hall ofFast coming off the list. I
- 27:07Speaker 1: don't know if this actually makes a difference anywhere.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Hella Fast was like that was that card where there
- 27:14Speaker 2: was a lot of talk to a lot of people
- 27:15Speaker 2: are like, oh, this card is going to break the game,
- 27:17Speaker 2: and there was a lot of I know there's a
- 27:19Speaker 2: lot of pushback about it during play testing, and I
- 27:23Speaker 2: was like, I mean, it's real good and it nceealed.
- 27:28Speaker 2: It is very very on fun to play against somebody
- 27:32Speaker 2: who's got a hall of fast and you didn't. But
- 27:40Speaker 2: it did never feel like totally arc on broken. It
- 27:44Speaker 2: was definitely like very on balance feeling and an average sealed.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I vaguely recall the reason that got put on the
- 27:54Speaker 4: first only as restricted list was because uh the what
- 28:02Speaker 4: was it? Perserker? Uh? Or no, never mind, that's why
- 28:11Speaker 4: the uthfrade was on the There was also some good
- 28:17Speaker 4: hol S text, yeah, the fof but I think the
- 28:22Speaker 4: healths was also just like making that even better the
- 28:27Speaker 4: looping infinite perserkers. Yeah, but I mean that's not a
- 28:33Speaker 4: problem anymore, Like nobody cares the whole now every change.
- 28:40Speaker 4: To me, it just reads basically as everything almost everything
- 28:48Speaker 4: that was a problem is not a problem can't compete
- 28:51Speaker 4: with Yes, we've redefined the word problem in this context.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Now it has a v behind it.
- 28:59Speaker 2: That's it's almost a question if they even need restricted
- 29:02Speaker 2: lists for older sets. But I don't know enough to
- 29:06Speaker 2: say that's true.
- 29:07Speaker 4: But I mean it is one of those things where's
- 29:11Speaker 4: like there are only a few combos and pods that
- 29:15Speaker 4: not that exist as much as are accessible, that you
- 29:20Speaker 4: could piece those together at this point, right, Like a
- 29:22Speaker 4: lot of those people don't play, don't answer messages, or
- 29:27Speaker 4: don't have the decks anymore, and so like can you
- 29:30Speaker 4: even attain them? Like there are more options, but can
- 29:33Speaker 4: you get them? I would, I would dare even say
- 29:36Speaker 4: it's worth a give it a full season with nothing
- 29:39Speaker 4: fift be restricted and see what happens kind of situation
- 29:45Speaker 4: or at least nothing specifically targeted in that.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Sounds like my.
- 29:54Speaker 3: I feel like it will be interested to see if
- 30:00Speaker 3: with these off the list, if you ever see any
- 30:03Speaker 3: of these, I don't know, right.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Maybe you will.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I'm not connected to the alliance party.
- 30:16Speaker 4: So you guys, most most of you were in the
- 30:23Speaker 4: house where I built my alliance the night before, like
- 30:25Speaker 4: you know how this works.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Together?
- 30:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll find out at the same time as you do.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I mean I was drinking at the time, so I
- 30:37Speaker 3: was a really super paying attention to what you were doing.
- 30:40Speaker 1: So maybe there was science. Who knows a little bit.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Of that was the old ADHD kicking in that we
- 30:46Speaker 4: were talking about earlier. It was like, look, if I'm
- 30:49Speaker 4: not four hours away from the deadline, when no work
- 30:53Speaker 4: is going to get done. So what we're going to
- 30:55Speaker 4: do is start brewing this at midnight and but born
- 30:59Speaker 4: in the morning, I'll have to go a bet or
- 31:00Speaker 4: I won't be able to read the cards the next day.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Well well, so, I mean, yeah, I have fun coming
- 31:11Speaker 4: up with combos, but like one's largely Keymander focused, so
- 31:15Speaker 4: I'm not looking at like restricted lists and stuff. But
- 31:17Speaker 4: none of these things really stood out to me. Actually, no,
- 31:22Speaker 4: the added cards a little bit, but not not the
- 31:25Speaker 4: ones removed, Like I didn't look at those. I think
- 31:28Speaker 4: they should have been removed because I didn't see any
- 31:30Speaker 4: of them being like a real problem currently.
- 31:35Speaker 6: Yep, I think the biggest one in question is stealth Mope.
- 31:39Speaker 6: But I like that it's removed. I think gives different
- 31:41Speaker 6: options that are available. So we talk boys in regards
- 31:44Speaker 6: to what we see for the what's been added.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Strategic Fate and Reiteration have been added to
- 31:55Speaker 1: the list. Reiteration kind of caught me, not necessarily caught
- 31:59Speaker 1: me off guard, but uh, only adding those two kind
- 32:03Speaker 1: of shocked me. And this make sure I got my
- 32:08Speaker 1: alliance the you know, blasphemy rolls down. This means that
- 32:14Speaker 1: you can have either reiteration or a strategic faint, but
- 32:18Speaker 1: not both of them, right, correct, Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 4: And I think both were any number, right.
- 32:24Speaker 5: Yes, both are both are any number.
- 32:27Speaker 6: But I think what's more interesting is that the two
- 32:30Speaker 6: cards added from PV, Reiteration and Strategic Faints both come
- 32:33Speaker 6: in at the common slot, and so now all of
- 32:36Speaker 6: a sudden, you actually have a number. Like it becomes
- 32:42Speaker 6: easier to find those pods, but also it's a little
- 32:44Speaker 6: bit more of a limiting factor with eliminating other pods,
- 32:47Speaker 6: because that card may show up on one and you
- 32:51Speaker 6: don't want than the other.
- 32:53Speaker 1: House.
- 32:53Speaker 6: Now, I think that Star Alliance really got absolutely hammered
- 32:57Speaker 6: with the updates that we talked about last time. So
- 33:01Speaker 6: maybe maybe Star Alliance is not our biggest issue anymore.
- 33:05Speaker 6: But I'm curious to see how.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Kind of surprise Okay, so you take off, well, I
- 33:15Speaker 1: guess I guess they had to, because the one that
- 33:18Speaker 1: kind of I was surprised to see was recompense. Although
- 33:22Speaker 1: it's a rare I don't know how many double cosmic
- 33:25Speaker 1: recompenses are floating around out there, but I guess if
- 33:28Speaker 1: you were going to take off stealth mode, you couldn't
- 33:32Speaker 1: really add recompense then, could you, because then now it
- 33:36Speaker 1: just doesn't make any sense downgraded, which they did.
- 33:43Speaker 4: But I think the idea is saying you can either
- 33:46Speaker 4: do discard control or the turn control that the Star
- 33:53Speaker 4: Alliance faces do and instead of hitting like, you can't
- 33:57Speaker 4: do Reiteration and Rage recent together because that's just too
- 34:01Speaker 4: many pods for this is too much. Logos has any
- 34:06Speaker 4: one common and uncommon together, so you had to hit one.
- 34:10Speaker 4: They went for the more common one, right, and then
- 34:14Speaker 4: it is more impactful, right, And the same thing for
- 34:18Speaker 4: the Star Alliance, where it's basically just saying like you're
- 34:22Speaker 4: probably going to have one of these in your pods
- 34:25Speaker 4: of that house, so you're either leaning into your Star
- 34:28Speaker 4: Alliance force you to play this house, force you to
- 34:31Speaker 4: play this or can't play this type of card type control,
- 34:35Speaker 4: or you're leaning into the Logos discard your hand control.
- 34:40Speaker 4: I think that's the idea.
- 34:42Speaker 2: I hear that looking at Alliance Worlds their top ten cards.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Reiteration was number one, Yeah, Strategic Fate was number six,
- 34:55Speaker 2: and two was Gift of Amber, three was Rage Reset
- 34:59Speaker 2: fours and for as five is traumatic, echo six is
- 35:03Speaker 2: strategic thing an actrocity, infinity, strop wild wormhole and in
- 35:09Speaker 2: here somewhere. So looking at how to actually impact the
- 35:13Speaker 2: number of dacks and what's getting played, I mean taking
- 35:17Speaker 2: away a gift to amber.
- 35:20Speaker 4: Atrost is actually crazy to hit that list because it's
- 35:22Speaker 4: limit won.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Like everybody was playing it.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but it also doesn't matter anymore because they
- 35:31Speaker 2: nerved it so hard, so they didn't need that one.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And again there is a potential, like you know, maybe
- 35:39Speaker 2: maybe they're thinking because with how nerve atrocity was in
- 35:43Speaker 2: some ways, that might make the dispods not even as attractive,
- 35:48Speaker 2: so the gift of amber Echode doesn't matter as much.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But I I don't know, it's probably I still think.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I still think here, I actually think there'll be some
- 36:00Speaker 2: odds that weren't considered because they didn't have atrocity that
- 36:03Speaker 2: might actually get a step up that people were ignoring.
- 36:09Speaker 2: But so you look at the thing, it's either so
- 36:11Speaker 2: reiterations number one, so you pick that and then you go,
- 36:15Speaker 2: you know what else was played? A ton of is
- 36:18Speaker 2: like you were picking like Star Alliance was only picked
- 36:25Speaker 2: for strategic faints, right, Everything else that was in Starallans
- 36:30Speaker 2: was whatever, like maybe it has a recompens or too,
- 36:32Speaker 2: and maybe a couple of gleaming, but they were being
- 36:34Speaker 2: picked for strategic faints.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think this is the center of it
- 36:38Speaker 4: being a common, right, Like if any any one of
- 36:41Speaker 4: those three was the common, it would be that one
- 36:45Speaker 4: because they're all good control. So yeah, whatever the reason.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Thing I think the commons were hit to just basically
- 36:54Speaker 4: say you have to be extremely, extremely creative to find
- 36:59Speaker 4: a viable combination of these two houses, no matter what
- 37:01Speaker 4: you're thirty.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Thing is, I think that is the key right there,
- 37:04Speaker 6: because you're looking at the cards that are on this
- 37:07Speaker 6: list for PV PV dominated Alliance. So you're looking at
- 37:12Speaker 6: PV showing up in ghost form, PV for in Furnace,
- 37:15Speaker 6: which is at common that's important for your diss. You
- 37:19Speaker 6: then have PV for Jersey no one really cares that rare.
- 37:22Speaker 6: You have PV that's coming in at reiteration, which is
- 37:25Speaker 6: logos for common, and strategic feint for common at Star Alliance.
- 37:30Speaker 6: So now all of a sudden, you've hit three of
- 37:32Speaker 6: the houses at a common slot, and it's really difficult
- 37:35Speaker 6: to find a pod that you're going to be able
- 37:37Speaker 6: to because you can't have multiples, like you can have
- 37:40Speaker 6: multiples of one of those cards, but not cross and
- 37:44Speaker 6: so you are like by putting that three houses that
- 37:47Speaker 6: you would expect to see, it drastically has an impact
- 37:51Speaker 6: on the build set up. That's what I think they
- 37:53Speaker 6: were looking at. But again without getting into their mind,
- 37:56Speaker 6: we don't know. It's theory or conjecture at this point.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Street my own horn here, but I think you know,
- 38:05Speaker 4: with a little more luck and a little less ask
- 38:07Speaker 4: again later, my world's build had a pretty good chance
- 38:11Speaker 4: and is still legal. And maybe if i'd started planning
- 38:17Speaker 4: it and didn't use I think two pods that I'd
- 38:19Speaker 4: never touched before that day, maybe could have done a
- 38:23Speaker 4: little better.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Was anybody else surprised not see ask again later on
- 38:29Speaker 1: the list. I was wondering if it was.
- 38:35Speaker 3: The fact that they they changed it, and yeah, a prophecy,
- 38:41Speaker 3: that would be tough.
- 38:42Speaker 5: There's so many decks.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Why would a prop I.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Mean, I don't understand it doesn't limit then, yeah, because
- 38:52Speaker 4: you don't have to use or you're not using the
- 38:54Speaker 4: prophecy from all three decks. The pod isn't necessarily out,
- 38:57Speaker 4: but a lot of pods are selected because huz of
- 39:00Speaker 4: their prophecies, maybe over odds with better cards because it
- 39:03Speaker 4: makes the deck function better. And yeah, ask again sucks
- 39:09Speaker 4: and it's the worst one. But it feels like hitting
- 39:12Speaker 4: any of those options of the set mechanics is just
- 39:14Speaker 4: it's too much.
- 39:17Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't know with with the timing
- 39:20Speaker 6: window change for us again later.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I also disagree with that errata. The correct answer
- 39:26Speaker 4: was it fires when you guess correctly and just basically
- 39:31Speaker 4: it has the chance of it succeeding. That was the
- 39:35Speaker 4: correct errata. What they did was buff a bunch of
- 39:40Speaker 4: cards and mildly nerve, rage, reset and reiteration fates.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Well what it really hit was the Star Alliance, uh,
- 39:53Speaker 3: cleaning the cube right, that that's the one that really
- 39:56Speaker 3: messed with. Yeah, yeah, it doesn't work anymore, right because
- 40:04Speaker 3: you pick your.
- 40:05Speaker 4: House after whether that's crazy?
- 40:07Speaker 2: All right?
- 40:08Speaker 6: Gleaming gleaming the cube uncommon from Star Alliance with an
- 40:11Speaker 6: amber pip action, play ready and use a friendly creature fate,
- 40:14Speaker 6: discard the top card of your deck. The discarded cards
- 40:17Speaker 6: house becomes your active house.
- 40:21Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you choose them out the house.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Is Uh, all right, mamon.
- 40:29Speaker 1: So we we've been debating.
- 40:31Speaker 3: We had the debate also in the Patreon channel of
- 40:35Speaker 3: our discord. Do you think Ask Again Later should remain
- 40:38Speaker 3: a six or do you think it should be downgraded
- 40:41Speaker 3: to a five?
- 40:42Speaker 4: Oh? It's a six still six?
- 40:45Speaker 5: Okay, Okay, there's a lot of bit back and forth.
- 40:48Speaker 4: It's a six because a few things went down, but
- 40:51Speaker 4: a few things went up. Just because you have to
- 40:54Speaker 4: rethink how how you're building with it a little bit
- 40:58Speaker 4: doesn't mean that it's not still a very good time window.
- 41:00Speaker 4: That triggers too much. Just it works with different dates.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Now, I do still think just the efficiency being the
- 41:08Speaker 3: same as massive.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, Like the deck's got better because of that arata,
- 41:16Speaker 4: and I don't think that was the intent, but.
- 41:18Speaker 2: The good decks got worse, and the decks that got
- 41:21Speaker 2: better aren't good enough. So it's a five, and you
- 41:24Speaker 2: guys will learn I am correct. I need time.
- 41:28Speaker 4: I was gonna say I would need time to be
- 41:31Speaker 4: proven on that that point, because.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I could be proven wrong, but yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure of myself.
- 41:38Speaker 4: The things that got better are not necessarily improving the
- 41:46Speaker 4: deck as much as they are improving control which then
- 41:50Speaker 4: lowers the balance with your opponent's deck. So like, I
- 41:54Speaker 4: think they got better in a different way. But well,
- 41:57Speaker 4: I mean we have to see regardless, just man hitting
- 42:03Speaker 4: that that buffo for the third key when your opponent's
- 42:07Speaker 4: about towards there is gonna feel bad flipping that maybe hit,
- 42:14Speaker 4: especially now that it's look based. Yeah, I mean like
- 42:17Speaker 4: it feels it feels bad for the player who gets
- 42:20Speaker 4: it or yeah, or the person who guess our feels
- 42:25Speaker 4: bad for the person who put it under there and
- 42:26Speaker 4: then doesn't hit it. It's it's just it's the game
- 42:30Speaker 4: winning on Functionally, a coin flip is bad. That is
- 42:35Speaker 4: just when it's just in your favor or in the
- 42:40Speaker 4: in the the active players.
- 42:42Speaker 5: Favor correct and then you don't have as much.
- 42:45Speaker 2: But it's still not that is not that is is
- 42:50Speaker 2: just bad. That's not it's not good. It's not good
- 42:55Speaker 2: game design. It's not good strategic anyway. It's just garbage.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Agreed.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, it exists that it does. Yeah, I think
- 43:10Speaker 4: TV will will still be pretty hot. I mean, we
- 43:12Speaker 4: see some interesting DM stuff, but I don't know that
- 43:16Speaker 4: it's gonna hit the top maybe a couple of decks
- 43:22Speaker 4: by the end. But this isn't the one, so we'll
- 43:26Speaker 4: just have to see what happens. But I I floated
- 43:29Speaker 4: an interesting suggestion to Josh while we were talking at
- 43:36Speaker 4: Echo that instead of full set rotation, you could do
- 43:42Speaker 4: something as simple as the set that that wins each format. Well,
- 43:48Speaker 4: I guess not sealed, but our Connor Alliance is just banned.
- 43:53Speaker 4: That set is banned for the next season, and.
- 43:56Speaker 2: You take one day off pissed off when you're like,
- 44:00Speaker 2: my good deck is you know, like my one good
- 44:03Speaker 2: deck is PV or or something weird like Amber Skies,
- 44:06Speaker 2: and then some jerk wins with Amber Skies, and now
- 44:08Speaker 2: I'm just like, well, I don't get to play my deck.
- 44:10Speaker 4: That's yeah, for for one season, and then you.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Time that's a long Yeah, that's a lot.
- 44:19Speaker 4: All refuse to do anything with less than a year.
- 44:22Speaker 4: So I can't. I can't make that happen faster.
- 44:26Speaker 2: But now I get what you're saying.
- 44:28Speaker 4: I don't know, but it's still like, so if something
- 44:34Speaker 4: other than PV gets banned, it means that's something BEATPV.
- 44:38Speaker 6: But do we really want to go ahead and band
- 44:39Speaker 6: it for less? So we start in Portland. Portland goes
- 44:43Speaker 6: ahead and opens up with PV. That means then when
- 44:46Speaker 6: it comes to these coasts, you don't get to play PV,
- 44:49Speaker 6: Like that's an East coast West coast component too.
- 44:51Speaker 2: No, you're saying whatever wins World is banned for.
- 44:54Speaker 5: I understand.
- 44:55Speaker 6: But the statement was if I could shorten it, and
- 44:58Speaker 6: so that's the next option that if we shortened it,
- 45:01Speaker 6: I think it would make it even worse. And that's
- 45:03Speaker 6: unfortunate because you can't.
- 45:05Speaker 4: Do that competing involved, because you're just brobbing a different
- 45:07Speaker 4: crowd of up coy.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I think they should just reimburse us for PV and
- 45:12Speaker 2: be like, Oh, that didn't happen.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Bro that money already spent you're talking about. So it
- 45:19Speaker 1: sounds like a great business idea.
- 45:22Speaker 2: You know what, I'll take a hundred bucks and you
- 45:24Speaker 2: can have my PV decks back.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Oh you know, I, for whatever reason, I just didn't
- 45:32Speaker 3: open anything good in PV, and I didn't really have
- 45:36Speaker 3: the desire to do the ARCon hunting that I was
- 45:40Speaker 3: doing for gr and then I was doing an Amber Skies.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Just because I wasn't getting the vibe.
- 45:48Speaker 3: But yeah, I remember, like when you when you can't
- 45:52Speaker 3: buy sheep for deca, you're like, oh, maybe I'll borrow
- 45:55Speaker 3: what are your pvs? We'll show me your TV lists
- 45:57Speaker 3: I showed you. You're like, why do all these decks suck?
- 46:00Speaker 3: I was like, I don't know. I don't know, dude. Sorry,
- 46:04Speaker 3: He's like, I don't want to borrow any of these.
- 46:06Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, sounds sounds about right.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I mean. The craziest thing is still about that is
- 46:14Speaker 1: sass rate. Some of these so high, and it's like, yes,
- 46:18Speaker 1: deck is not that awesome.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're you're one hundred and seven nothing.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Seven nothing that I opened from this week, like one
- 46:25Speaker 1: hundred and seven, And like the cards editor are fine
- 46:29Speaker 1: and they're not bad there, some of them are pretty good.
- 46:32Speaker 4: But like, no, I know what that issue is. That's
- 46:35Speaker 4: because cards have extra points because they have two different effects,
- 46:40Speaker 4: and I don't think it's properly weighing that when on
- 46:44Speaker 4: a deck cycle, barring any recursion, you're not getting both
- 46:48Speaker 4: of the effects. But now a B plus card has
- 46:52Speaker 4: three points or a point and a half for the
- 46:54Speaker 4: fae and a point and a half for the play.
- 46:57Speaker 4: But there are games where I'll never see both of
- 46:58Speaker 4: those or even have the unity to see that card twice.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Right, But it's.
- 47:02Speaker 4: It's weighing it as if I would rather than weighing
- 47:06Speaker 4: this is the score that this would have. This is
- 47:08Speaker 4: the score that this would have, and then we're reducing
- 47:09Speaker 4: them by both of them by a percentage because you're
- 47:13Speaker 4: not going to get both off every time.
- 47:15Speaker 1: My issue my deck was the fact that like the
- 47:19Speaker 1: deck actually probably was was probably really really good as
- 47:23Speaker 1: long as my opponent doesn't fuck with my creatures, right,
- 47:27Speaker 1: as long as they don't touch my touch my my pretties.
- 47:31Speaker 1: It does.
- 47:32Speaker 4: A lot of keyboards decks are good when you just
- 47:35Speaker 4: have your features out there.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Don't touch my ship and I'll win, all right, but
- 47:42Speaker 1: not a lot.
- 47:43Speaker 4: To touch like features. I'll play coda, I win, I'll win.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Yeah, So that that's Suffocators rocking right.
- 47:50Speaker 1: It's just it was one of those things where it's like,
- 47:52Speaker 1: all right, I got a thing going, and then it
- 47:54Speaker 1: was like, and I'm going to clear the board. Sticky.
- 47:58Speaker 2: I think sticky creatures might be amber Skies. That might
- 48:01Speaker 2: be the set that ones with sticky creatures. I like
- 48:06Speaker 2: my like amber Skies and some Sky's decks that I like,
- 48:13Speaker 2: but they don't they don't play from hand enough and
- 48:17Speaker 2: then they die and then you cry, yeah, well yeah,
- 48:23Speaker 2: it might still actually creatures that can't get destroyed. It
- 48:26Speaker 2: might still be TV because the creatures in TV are crazy,
- 48:30Speaker 2: but the sea is high enough that it doesn't matter
- 48:33Speaker 2: generally that, you know, like all those semi crazy logos,
- 48:38Speaker 2: creatures don't last long enough to to do crazy things.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Well, I had double Marcella triple uh, triple scrot them,
- 48:49Speaker 1: but it didn't matter because none of the Marcella's, you know,
- 48:53Speaker 1: none of it matter. Yes, Imperial scrot them.
- 48:59Speaker 2: He had a couple of stew.
- 49:01Speaker 1: I didn't have any faults, no, but somebody had.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I had to kill him.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I had a YOUNGUS but it was like yeah, at
- 49:09Speaker 1: one point, like my, my, my Marcella's were like six
- 49:15Speaker 1: power two armor and it was just and they just died,
- 49:18Speaker 1: just like power power is so meaningless of this game
- 49:21Speaker 1: nine times out of ten.
- 49:22Speaker 2: So we had eight players. We had two TV and
- 49:26Speaker 2: a bunch of Amber Skies players, right, yes, and one.
- 49:31Speaker 4: And that.
- 49:32Speaker 2: And then Pete came and I made him play the
- 49:36Speaker 2: d M deck that I won for going three. Oh
- 49:39Speaker 2: it had sleepy dragons in it because Pete didn't get
- 49:42Speaker 2: to go to KMC. So I've been saving this deck
- 49:43Speaker 2: for him to be able to play it. So he
- 49:45Speaker 2: played his three games. He forged two keys, all theme.
- 49:51Speaker 2: He had the sleepiest dragons. Yes, no, no, that's my
- 50:01Speaker 2: good d am deck. Melt the I won right for
- 50:04Speaker 2: that deck, winning three times. They gave me another one right,
- 50:09Speaker 2: and that's the one I let. It was still sealed.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Nobody ever played it. It was the first one to
- 50:14Speaker 2: experience it, and by the second game he was like, oh,
- 50:18Speaker 2: I should give this back to you. I'm like, oh, no,
- 50:19Speaker 2: I think you're going to keep that one. I don't
- 50:21Speaker 2: ever want to see that again. So my second DM deck,
- 50:24Speaker 2: which had the Sleepy Dragons in it, is now in
- 50:27Speaker 2: Pete's piles because it's a stinker.
- 50:32Speaker 6: Yeah, and some of the decks can do things. We
- 50:35Speaker 6: saw that with your deck, and many other decks just
- 50:39Speaker 6: do not do anything.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Guys getting I'm getting my face picture worth of sleepy dragons,
- 50:48Speaker 3: so please.
- 50:49Speaker 6: Please, but no, no, this is this is the thing.
- 50:53Speaker 6: There are some decks that can really do some magical things.
- 50:57Speaker 6: It just is a high percentage that will not do them.
- 51:00Speaker 5: And then they're gonna.
- 51:01Speaker 4: I'm just gonna need you to spend the next six
- 51:04Speaker 4: months not thinking I have a face picture's worth of
- 51:07Speaker 4: sleepy dragons, but I my face picture will be in
- 51:12Speaker 4: shattered realities. True, maybe I'll just be in the really
- 51:17Speaker 4: cool set.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I just can't wait for the reality cards, which are
- 51:21Speaker 1: a lot like prophecies but not right. Nothing will go
- 51:26Speaker 1: wrong there because we'll just start, We'll just I have this, like,
- 51:30Speaker 1: I have this crazy hunch that like reality is that
- 51:34Speaker 1: you're going to be playing games that are going to
- 51:36Speaker 1: change the rules of key Forge. Don't ask me why,
- 51:40Speaker 1: but I just get that feeling.
- 51:41Speaker 2: I mean, we're playing flex Forge.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Oh, that's that's exactly like when I keep hearing it
- 51:49Speaker 1: and I keep thinking, that's exactly that is exactly like
- 51:55Speaker 1: how I feel like it's going to be. It is
- 51:57Speaker 1: gonna be flux Forge. Do we all think that Luke
- 52:01Speaker 1: enjoys flux Yes?
- 52:04Speaker 4: Yeah? Oh god, are you're just saying that they heard him?
- 52:09Speaker 2: No?
- 52:11Speaker 1: I believe it.
- 52:14Speaker 2: I mean I could, I could, I could see it.
- 52:18Speaker 6: All right, boys, we've talked a little bit about, uh,
- 52:22Speaker 6: what's on the list. There's a little chat in regards
- 52:25Speaker 6: to what potentially should have been on the list.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I still think should have been on the list.
- 52:32Speaker 5: So you say, ask again later anything else standing out
- 52:36Speaker 5: that you guys think should have been on the list
- 52:38Speaker 5: that really has been an oversight or that is kind
- 52:42Speaker 5: of like why is it not on the list?
- 52:44Speaker 3: I mean honestly, before we had this conversation, I was
- 52:48Speaker 3: like surprised to see reiteration and not rage reset. Now
- 52:53Speaker 3: that you guys talked me through how this blasphemous format works,
- 52:57Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, I see, if you had both both,
- 53:01Speaker 3: then you know you.
- 53:02Speaker 5: Just ever be playing a logo spot right, Like, how
- 53:05Speaker 5: are you gonna properly send? Uh?
- 53:08Speaker 4: It is still possible, Well, you can.
- 53:10Speaker 1: You can still have both, you just can't have strategic
- 53:13Speaker 1: fate with.
- 53:13Speaker 4: It, and it really limits the pods.
- 53:16Speaker 2: No, yes, I now have one of the best logos
- 53:20Speaker 2: pods if you if you no reieration pod is is
- 53:25Speaker 2: pretty strong.
- 53:26Speaker 6: Now I'm saying that if you had put rager set
- 53:29Speaker 6: on along with reiteration, that would you would correct That's
- 53:36Speaker 6: what it meant. So by putting one on and not
- 53:38Speaker 6: the other, you are saying it just means you could
- 53:42Speaker 6: pick it.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Back with both, which isn't that big of a deal.
- 53:45Speaker 6: Actually, I think that's harder, Like having the common and
- 53:50Speaker 6: the uncommon in logos makes it.
- 53:52Speaker 2: There's the knocks out a handful of pods for sure,
- 53:54Speaker 2: but it's very high up. But it's not it doesn't change.
- 53:59Speaker 2: I don't think it changes the way you build alliances
- 54:01Speaker 2: meaningfully as as what they did.
- 54:06Speaker 5: But I don't know.
- 54:08Speaker 6: That's one of those frustrating components when you can when
- 54:12Speaker 6: you just have a Rhindo world, when you have a
- 54:15Speaker 6: random car that gets like tosses your whole pod because
- 54:19Speaker 6: it's now on the list, but you don't care about
- 54:21Speaker 6: it or you don't care as much about it, Like,
- 54:23Speaker 6: that's just frustrating. So having two cards from the same
- 54:27Speaker 6: set and potentially from the same house, that's.
- 54:33Speaker 2: For me only only two. The top two decks were
- 54:38Speaker 2: Logo Star Alliance.
- 54:41Speaker 5: And what why is that? What else was there?
- 54:45Speaker 2: Then it was Dislogos Untamed Yes, and then it was
- 54:49Speaker 2: that grim Reminder stats so we don't talk about that,
- 54:52Speaker 2: and me I was the wonky one with dis Logo.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Soare in so all? Why is brile coup blocks still?
- 55:04Speaker 1: Like why do we still allow this? That was the
- 55:07Speaker 1: question that I had on there.
- 55:08Speaker 4: I thought that why because your pons probably playing for
- 55:11Speaker 4: TV and they have a way to remove it without
- 55:13Speaker 4: even playing.
- 55:14Speaker 2: A carden well and at top Ford and one one
- 55:17Speaker 2: Vault tour. Does that make it worth banning showed a
- 55:23Speaker 2: couple of times. I mean it's not dominating the scene.
- 55:29Speaker 6: Good Once again, if you look at gr gr's Jervy
- 55:33Speaker 6: gr is Key, abduction, gr when to death, but like
- 55:40Speaker 6: Brile Coup, in my opinion, one of those should have
- 55:43Speaker 6: definitely been on there.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Even then, what about you know, I mean where we're
- 55:48Speaker 1: talking some of the other things that allow stupid things,
- 55:52Speaker 1: you know, island to misfit toys somehow still not on
- 55:55Speaker 1: the list.
- 55:56Speaker 2: Okay, gr GR showed up between the two events, which
- 56:02Speaker 2: is what there's thirty seven players. G R only showed
- 56:05Speaker 2: up and is only four dacs out of how many
- 56:10Speaker 2: out of the thirty seven? Right because there's twenty four,
- 56:13Speaker 2: one and thirteen and open.
- 56:15Speaker 4: Wait why is Drew?
- 56:17Speaker 5: Okay?
- 56:17Speaker 6: But but you're talking KFC, and so the short bit
- 56:21Speaker 6: is is that KFC at that point TV had completely
- 56:23Speaker 6: taken over, like I just and so that's why why
- 56:27Speaker 6: do we.
- 56:28Speaker 2: About addressing sets that show up as ones and twos
- 56:32Speaker 2: and don't win it like just let them be.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Well they're showing up ones and twos. Is because because
- 56:40Speaker 1: when you have a set that's so much stronger, but
- 56:43Speaker 1: but now you've but now you've neutered the stronger set,
- 56:46Speaker 1: so you need to.
- 56:48Speaker 4: I agree with what. I don't know, it's adjusted.
- 56:53Speaker 1: It has been favorite thing adjusted.
- 56:56Speaker 5: It's been.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I mean it's not full.
- 57:00Speaker 2: I don't think it's Top Worlds is still totally playable.
- 57:10Speaker 4: Yeah, they're a good handful of people that were also
- 57:12Speaker 4: leaning into Untamed in their designs, and uh, none of
- 57:19Speaker 4: what I was seeing with that is touched by this
- 57:22Speaker 4: list at all. The only thing that is Atrocity, But
- 57:26Speaker 4: like there's.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Other invigorating shower, the two.
- 57:32Speaker 4: More one punk Punksion with windrow and shower to keep
- 57:43Speaker 4: it going. But like, the only builds in that sense
- 57:46Speaker 4: that are touched by this at all are the ones
- 57:49Speaker 4: that we're gonna try to recur atrocity and that you
- 57:52Speaker 4: just recurred different Untamed Pit Monstrosity.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Yeah, atrocity was some disruption. I don't know it was.
- 58:05Speaker 2: I'm not sure how how the atrocity change plays an
- 58:09Speaker 2: actual play yet, because I have not played any games
- 58:12Speaker 2: now that atrocity has a different effect.
- 58:16Speaker 4: I only think that that Errata was overkilled because it
- 58:21Speaker 4: doesn't change the fact that it's limit one. Like that
- 58:24Speaker 4: effect means it doesn't need to be limit one as
- 58:26Speaker 4: a play effect. But you can't change that now, right
- 58:31Speaker 4: because of the way it was initially designed. I mean,
- 58:33Speaker 4: you can't just go back and add that to decks.
- 58:35Speaker 4: So like it's overkilled in the sense that you you
- 58:40Speaker 4: I don't know, maybe if ever reprinted it wouldn't be
- 58:44Speaker 4: but like as is in PV, not that I'm marketing
- 58:48Speaker 4: PV needs to be stronger, but like, yeah, it's basically
- 58:52Speaker 4: nothing now yep, Like I'm in furnace used to need
- 59:00Speaker 4: to be recurred to be a problem, and it was
- 59:02Speaker 4: possible and doable, and like that's the sense you get
- 59:06Speaker 4: from the errata and it's just not set up to
- 59:10Speaker 4: do that because you don't have you can't have three
- 59:12Speaker 4: of them in your deck to make it easy enough
- 59:14Speaker 4: to recur them that you actually see them again.
- 59:16Speaker 3: I'm just hoping that they learned that flipping a card
- 59:20Speaker 3: off the top of your deck and doing something is
- 59:23Speaker 3: not something that's not a mechanic you should be using.
- 59:27Speaker 5: For yeah, it's out of turn sequence that has an
- 59:35Speaker 5: impact on the game.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Well too, but but just the random.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Is Yeah, like they find for like a gambling den lark,
- 59:47Speaker 3: you know, but don't like, don't put it on.
- 59:51Speaker 2: I will put.
- 59:55Speaker 4: And say, uh, Wild Wroomhole and Mercurial Wormhole are very
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: good cards and very fun cards that do lean into
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: the random aspect, So I'm more inclined to agree with
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: them in the sense that it's out of turn order,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: it's on the opponent's turn, and it affects what they're doing.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: The randomness cards that things can be fun if you.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Would recall I have a wage a one man more
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: against Wild Wormhole if you a long time, because it's
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: that exactly, is such a garbage mechanic for win it.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Most of the time it's just a little efficiency plays
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: a random card doesn't. But when it makes that big
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: swing and just totally swings a game on random top deck,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: it's like, it's a fun story once in a while.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: But to actually win and lose games because.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Of that is just like, but you have just the
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: same in my ass, Well, I disagree.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: I think I think that you can do it because
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: it's on your her and and yes, it really bites
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: you in the butt when you have that's played against you,
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: But for the most part, you know what, it's a
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: low probability of hitting.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: My only chance of winning this game is a wild
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: wormhole my miasthma. I did it, Yay, I won because
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: of that. It's like you just wild wormhole into twenty
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: two cards and you got the one you need. And
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: it's like, I mean that happened. Cool, cool, that's.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: I don't I don't have a problem with that happening
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: off my turn.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: It's a similar if you weren't wild wormholing the miasthma,
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: you could have just drawn it instead. Like it's still
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: just look at the drawing type thing. Just because it's
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: a different card that that's giving you an extra amber
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: and playing another card doesn't actually change it because you
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: have no control over the card that's playing most of
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: the time. Like you could have just drawn that masthma.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: You had an equal chance of drawing that and the
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: wild worm hole.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: But if the maasthmas, if you don't have any if
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: it's a last out ditch effort, which I think is
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: what Sheep's saying, it's frustrating that that's what the game
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: is won or lost.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: There there is quite a bit of this game where
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: your last turn is like, well, the only way I
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: win is I'm on the draw right, and you're like,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: gonna use your drop it or your random draw effect,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: and you're like, and if I draw the one card
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: and I can play it, and wild wormhole is more
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: of an X factor on that because it just plays
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: the card. So it's wins and losses. I don't know.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: I don't like it. I don't like I don't like
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: how that card and it's dumb randomness.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Is what it is.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: I am fine doing dumb in the us self.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Not no, because that dumb randomness affects both players. You're
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: not doing it to yourself. You're my whole game.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: I'm perfectly fine gambling on the very final.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: And tell me, have you had an incredibly sick we
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: wormhole play but you lose anyway because you were that
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: far behind, Like, it's just I don't feel like it.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: It's the winner lost enough to have that feels bad
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: in factors, that.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Has cards that win and lose because you wild worm
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: hole on them.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: So but then because you knew you could lose yourself.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: It's more it's.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: When if you hit and lose because you were losing anyways.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you can.
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: You can like it all you want.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: I have always talked ship about wild Wormhole because that's
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: a level of randomness that I it's just over the
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: edge of what I enjoy in this game in meaningful
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: competitive play, and TV is a big flex of just
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: doing more of that garbage.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Yeah, and I can get behind the hate on that,
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: but I do have great news for you about logos.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Anytime now, we're gonna get dark wild Wormhole, dark Hole, I.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: Don't know my instead of please do not play dark.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: You gotta smell it.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: If they make that card, we're just going to call
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: it a stink call and it's gonna be awful.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: No, we're not gonna call it the stink call. We're
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: just gonna call it. Yes, Yes, we are the holes
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: chocolate styfish.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: That's all.
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: This is why this card should never be made.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: My issue with the prophecies is the timing window that like,
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: you have so much that's impacting you in your turn,
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: and that's where I have an issue with the randomness.
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: I have no problem doing it on my own turn,
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: but if it's done off turn and then it has
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: an impact, it just it has a very different few
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: to me, and I don't I understand why, but that
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: that's more frustrating that.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Did the same thing, but I had to play it
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: on my turn. It wouldn't make a difference.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: No, because because it's if you're going hot and doing
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: it on your turn. Okay, there's a random shot, it
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: hits as a random shot, it doesn't. But the chance
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: where now I have more better than a coin flip
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: that it's going to negatively impact me, which is what
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: the fate is? Is what the what our fates are
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: going ahead and impacting the prophecies here. That's that's a
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: real frustration point.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: And no, I don't just read play your opponent's not
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: allowed to play cards next turn. That's okay, that is
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: that's a card.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: We have all the cards that do that.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's better, yes, but.
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: If I like but if it is, but if it's
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: wookie flip a coin heads or tails, yeah, if you
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: guess wrong, now you don't get to put any cards.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: That's the much better face. I I you call this
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: house and then this card is gonna go off and
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: then you ain't gonna do stuff.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: And I think that is what you will see.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: But I'm saying, like the idea of just the randomness
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: for flipping and determining, especially at a higher probability that
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: it's going to happen. It's a feel bads moment for
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: most people when it's played.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: Yep. Yeah, I as someone who enjoys the concept of
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: pv OR, do really like the idea of the face
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: like it's I understand that the major complaint of like,
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: people don't like that something is interacting on their turn
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: in a game that doesn't traditionally do that. I actually
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: like that part. I do think the randomness of it
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: triggering is the thing where.
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: It's like rgering.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: You don't know what the things.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: You can't do anything about it. It's not if it were.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: If it were when you play a creature to the
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: top card and whatever, then I cannot play the creature
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: like I can play around the existence of the randomness, correct,
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: but asking it just forces the randomness. That's where that's
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: the problem is that there's nothing to play around. Yep.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Well, that's what the timing window changed. Now it's functionally
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: like they played it on their turn, You're going to
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: make all your decisions.
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: Yes, from the affront to that card, I just and
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: another complain I have about that is really that it
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: I would have preferred that it came, it kept the
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: the same phase or the same like general area, because
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: that's part of what made ask again unique is that
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: it came after the start of turn, after the forge
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: a key specifically, and you can make it still do
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: that and before you choose the house and keep that
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: unique timing window. But what they did was just give
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: it the same timing window as several other prophecies that
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: are already good with that timing window, not only changing
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: how a bunch of cards work with it, but also
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: just making it less unique and interesting at all. It
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: was the only one of two fates that had that
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: choose a house timing window right or no. Three or
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: prophecies I think three, and I mean they're all good,
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: but like you, you can make it happen before the
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: house is chosen.
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: Yeah, it changes a fect weird choice, but.
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: This is Yeah, this changes more of the nature of
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: the cart itself than than just the discard prophecies that
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: were the problem. But hey, I don't make the rules.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: No, but if you'd like to, I heard GG is
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: looking for a game. The chat is telling you're wrong.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: And the only other thing that fires at the same
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: time as al now is stars aligned. Because everything else
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: is end of turn.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Stars aligned is beginning a turn after after house is
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: a lot. There's a lot after house, right, Well there's the.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a after house is called, or after
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: a house that has nothing in play is called.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: There was the you know, yeah, the one where you
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: declare a house and then if they pick it.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: Yeah, after a house is called, specific house is called,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: or after a house is called that has no cards
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: in play, there's one that does that, and then al
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: all three of those were the same time, means well,
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: now al was right before that or no, after you
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: call house. Yeah, all those were right same time or
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: similar enough.
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess the other ones. You just have uh
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: a way to play around it. I gets its.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah it was. It was yes, like they picked
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: a thing, and to some effect you had the ability
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: to be like, I don't want that to trigger, so
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I will not call the house they picked, or I
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: will call a house that there's a garden play, assuming
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: you have that choice mm hmm.
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: And you just get to watch Liam's face as you
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: don't play an entire house for a whole game, and
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: it's honestly feels great.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I mean, that does happen. I have had that happen
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: good time.
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: My favorite move is not playing creatures for a whole game.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I am also a fan of that.
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: Uh many times I want a stealed store champ by
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: doing that last.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Year, there you go could happen again. Then just a
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: few weeks I.
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: Put a two atomic distabilizers of this pres that they've
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: never played another one again when he just supported them.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: To the little confirmation conversation I had with Sydney, you know,
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: because she's actually looking at doing some Alliance stuff, because
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: she's going to go play in an actual Alliance Store championship.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: You know, are not chasing that. But she has been
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: trying to build with the new al timing and has
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: not found like the buffal route to be It's it's
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: not consistent enough to be a winning strategy, like to
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: be like, oh I get to win because I'm going
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: to forge my third key before you lot a coin flip.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: I haven't talked here about it, but if it's anything
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: based on one of her previous builds, there was a
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: lot of un tam piffs floating around, which does reduce
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: the ability of ask again to fire. That'll that'll take
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: some some tweaking and stuff.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: That just means, well, I think I think you're just
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: gonna see is that? And it was even happening to
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: some extent in alliances people who are using ask again
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: were coming to the conclusion, and I was definitely one
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: of them where I'm like, although very powerful, the fact
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: that I can't make sure it happens when I needed
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: to happen makes this not quite good enough. It's too
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: coin flippy. And to truly be a great deck that
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: I know I can win games with consistently, I need
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: effects that I can count on, that effects that I'm
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: hoping work.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: It's fair. Hey you have a whole nother propcy card
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: for that.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well, and that's it. I mean like, certainly, if
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I was to uh have to build another awful alliance
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: for some reason, I would not be taking an al Bot.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: I would be.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I also, I agree with I agree with Flightless Pheasant
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: in the chat you want to win with Boufo it's
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: stars aligned.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Stars aligned. That's not as guarantee as.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: You not want to. Like, yeah, you think it is.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: There's not enough C, but no, there's actually quite a
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: bit of C. There's more than you give it credit for.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: When I was playing Aligned becomes the target meta here
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: for TV, then well it's going to come back and forth.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: And stars stars aligned is one of those things where
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: it's like it's kind of set dependent, right, like heavy
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: creature sets. Yeah, it's gonna be tough to pop Stars aligned.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: But like in all of my games that I played,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: I did not have really too much trouble have making
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Stars aligned go off it. I think stars aligned takes.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: More aligned specifically, like creature heavy builds are not usually
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: the goal here.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so not only really not only on top of that,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: like it's yes, it takes more different metas for self
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: discipline and not be like I'm in a board flood,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: you know, to be like nope, I really I need
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: this to go off, So I Am going to hold
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: back and maybe discard things that you traditionally would play
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: to get the value. So it Stars a line just
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: takes a lot more discipline than than anything else.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: I think if you're playing other cards and potentially sacrifices
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: of certain things to pull off, which makes it a
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: good strong effect, makes it more balanced if you have
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: to sacrifice a creature because you need to even the board,
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: or you know, blow up some of your own creatures
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: fighting there or waste their us is fighting stuff off
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: the boards just so that it can trigger. That's where
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: the bouncing comes in, is that it's.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: Work right, But those are those are resources that you
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: have to use your see or you're gonna be fighting
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: instead of reaping, which again is a losing proposition. And
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: instead I can just trust your feelings, which is what
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: you guys have been talking about. When a card is
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: placed under trust your feelings, name a house, it's okay, Well,
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: now you can't go into that house, or it's going
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: to go off. And certain deck, certain decks need to
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: go into a house, and so trust your feelings is
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: a much much better choice as a prophecy.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think a or stars aligned is it's good.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: I like, I like the card, but I don't think
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: it's again, it's not reliable enough because you don't know
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: when you're gonna sit down against somebody who is playing
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: a board flood deck, and you will never fire it
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: because you cannot keep up with the number of creatures
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: are playing, and you will never fire stars align.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: The way the game well, essions about how many decks
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: are sitting in an alliance right now, Here's but.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: Right now post I played post band lists more. Yeah,
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: you'll write, having had a few conversations about aligance stuff
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: before worlds with people that actually do a lot more
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: active building. The biggest thing with finding the perfect pod
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: versus just a really good pod is that you are
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: not only working off the stars aligned, but maybe the
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: back of it is asking again so that if you
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: can't get your well was so if you can't get
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: stars aligned to trigger and that's your main like consistent
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: triggering prophecy, Now all of a sudden you just flip
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: it to the two thirds one where if you're gonna
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: go against the flood deck and not be able to
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: start as align more than two thirds of the time,
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: well you slip it to the one that's guaranteed to
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: go more or less that number. Wow, right, like that.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: I never had.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: That's part of the alliance building. It's definitely a thing.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: An alliance is finding a set of prophecies that will
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: do what.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: You Yeah, there was definitely talk of this pod is better,
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: but the prophecies on this one are perfect and it's
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: only so much worse, And like, what what's the better call?
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Because I think the efficients honestly half the value from
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: prophecies at least is the efficiency right? A big part
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: of my argument later still being an alliance, you just
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: discard cards so much, but less than alliance because you're
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: optimizing your pods to have at least for TV. You're
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: probably aiming to have most.
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: Things have some sort of fate effect, so that you're
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: not just discarding even if that's like what you would
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: be doing normally. Now it's a thing like that's yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: I agree with you one hundred percent of our coon
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: alliance because you're optimizing, it's less of that.
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you just maybe don't have as much it does something.
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: Where was unity prism on the list?
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Not impactful enough problem?
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: I mean, it's a good.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Card because it's it's a rare, right.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: No, it's uncommon?
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Is it uncommon?
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: Okay, there's at least one pod with three of them
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: in there. I was looking at that for a while.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: King of Blake was getting that all wrong. On the
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: last h FF he was like, he's getting all the
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: rarities wrong, right, I.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Thought you I thought unity prism was a rare If
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: that's what I thought, it was a rare too, So no.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but you get stuff wrong all the time.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Yes, you do look because I do.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: Now it's uncommon. There's definitely good pods with doubles and
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: stuff in there. And I was doing the punk, so
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: I was looking for that too.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: The unity prism.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: That I.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: When I when I saw unity prison being used is
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: just as a scrap effect. It's not for its play effects.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Just an amber pushing card, yeah.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: Maybe, but other than that, something that makes two.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: To three amber, they're not going to put on a list.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: I don't see it. It's just there's so much stuff
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: that makes more amber than that that why would that
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: ever make a list? Yep, Like making the amber is
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: just an opportunity for your opponent to take it.
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: Yeah, until there exists a way to guarantee have that
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: turn one.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: It's it's thick. There is are the stuff that needs
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: to be each eats and that you can't cards are
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: the things that yeah, those are those are the things
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: that real starch. Because if you make a bunch of amber,
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: but I have an opportunity to stop you, then that's fine,
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: right then you have to play high amber control. If
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: amber push is one of the current strategies, it's just
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: like you can't you can't ignore that board flood decks exist,
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: or you have to accept that you're not going to
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: beat them, right if you just don't take anyway to
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: handle them.
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I your deck is optimized to go
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: against a handful of different strategies in one way.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Or here's another fact. Because I'm looking at the list
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: right now, and I don't think I'm wrong on this one.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I don't believe there are any amber Sky's cards on
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: the restricted list? Is there?
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: And I also was thinking of that earlier. I don't
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: think there are no.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: I haves.
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: No.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: I had an amber Sky's build that before I got
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: talked into Chaos. I was pretty proud of. I don't
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: know that it's the best thing in the world, but
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: it's very cool. And I actually had the thought that
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: I wonder if I should give that a shat and
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: at least one of the vaulteurs next year, because some
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: people are nice enough to let me borrow their decks
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: under the premise of I'm aiming to use this at Worlds.
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: And then I didn't, and it was cool and isn't
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: affected in the slightest bit.
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: But this list, do you have enough key sheat in
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: your amber skies?
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: They have the Amber drakes. Yeah, that but that but
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: that's the drakes. Outside of the drakes, which is what
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: we saw I didn't use.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: That's where the question is.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: My build wasn't going drakes heavy key sheets, but it
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: did tea keys. But most importantly, it utilized like almost
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: perfect housepit placement, to the point that I almost had
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: two houses.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: In my deck, and two houses better than three.
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: So yeah, And it's interesting because I was considering my
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: two losses at Worlds, and I think actually the worst
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: loss I had I would have been okay because I
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: just I kept losing to really really terrible ask again,
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: luck in that it I never guessed it right. But
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: being down to a three card house, you know, if
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: I can still have a pretty good chance of playing
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: all three of those cards and just drawing my deck
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: would have actually been okay. So we'll see. Might give
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: it a shot, only because I really liked that build, Like.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: Boys, the only other thing I saw on our updated
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: information we have Vault Master twenty six comes back thoughts
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: on this, and technically DM rules were also added, but
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: Vault Master twenty six, what do you think?
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: Guys?
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Heck, yeah, we'll see.
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: Three.
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: We don't know.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I'm going to give it all.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: You have no idea it could be well no, but
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: just again, which was not good. And that was the
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: question Logos and a bunch of nothing.
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: What we've seen it now for twenty three, twenty four,
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: twenty five. I thought twenty five everyone really had a
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: good time with and I think.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: The Vault Master sets have gotten better year over year. Right,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: twenty three was but does that.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Mean we're about to get a total total goods because
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: they're like, well, we already used all those cards, so
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: we don't want to make twenty six too close to
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: one of the other sets.
- 1:23:49Speaker 5: Yeah, they're like Logos purchased itself.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: Right, So well, I asked, because people people have been
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: so adamant against it, but others are like, it's fine, oh.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Ja, and who else do you do?
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: You have a couple of Europeans, there's a couple of.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: So again, I fully support Vault Masters, but I also
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: fully support more accessibility of it, especially when it's like
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: twenty five and it's super fun.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Whoa, whoa, whoa easy there, ma'am, And you have to
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: give people a reason to come to Vault tours.
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: Make it early.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: Access for well, outside of you can buy retail twenty
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: five outside of repound. I don't know if there's that
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: many people who went because of BM, but I could
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: be wrong. I don't actually know, But I mean giving
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: the ability to sell VM boxes retail through non US distributorships, Yeah,
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: go for it. Just freaking want to buy them.
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: Would it be from Europe?
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: Just going to buy them all anyways?
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: Yeah? Would it be so bad if VM was early
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: access until the vault tours are over and then it
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: turns retail available after that? Like, there's your incentive as
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: you go you can.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: And then they didn't print nearly enough of it?
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: Right, But if that's the goal, like it, they would right?
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: Like that's no, they wouldn't if you adjusted to sell
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: it for retail, Yes, they would, no, because they Okay,
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: you cannot tell me that when we got almost left
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: over of your print, right, I'm saying, you strategize to
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: sell more after the fact.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but the problem is you're going to put it
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: all up for they're going to put the problem. I
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: do get it, I get it, But they're going to
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: put it all up for sale at at KFC and
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: sell all of it at KFC and then and then
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: there's not going to be anything left, and it's not
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: like they're going to do another print run.
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: I said after the last vault. Remember KFC is not
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: not a vault or and that's when you're not guarantee you're.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Going to have for vault.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Well, hopefully they stick with their thing where they geotagged.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: It would be awesome if they could figure out how
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: to print the right number where every vault was just
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: geotag decks right for for that event, and then the
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: non geotaged ones were more generally available that it would
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: reduce the value of geotag decks because they would be
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: more common. But I don't know. Geot decking doesn't seem
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: to carry much additional value anyway.
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: The solution to that is if you overprint, uh, make
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: them purchasable at worlds, make the leftovers available at worlds,
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: because that's how you get people who can't travel internationally
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: to get the international ones and still make money off
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: of them. Is you get a bunch of these, a
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: couple of these for going to this vultur, you get
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: these we're going to the Vault tour, but you're not
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: going to be able to access those unless you can
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: communicate with somebody in that country and get them and
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: have a whole bunch of hassle, or you come to
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: the event where we gather people from all over the world,
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: and then you can buy the things that were available
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: all over the world in a limited quantity because it's
- 1:27:19Speaker 4: all we have left. So you can overprint to some
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: small extent and just plan to sell the leftovers there.
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: Yes, especially if they like they know that, like they
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: generally have a number they should be able to.
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: Yeah, they have international products for sale at international events
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: or the one international event, well they have from the
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: US perspective they have, I would say they have more
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: than one. The one multinational event, I guess is what
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: I what I meant to saying, the one where you
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: gather everybody. But I don't need to see deck at
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: at Roseville or well not that one but Baltimore, but
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: at Worlds that would be a cool thing, that would
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: even maybe be an incentive for me to go. Is that,
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: like I now don't have to pay god knows how
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: much shipping for a single deck after communicating with a
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: guy online just to get a deck from a country
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: that I can't visit. But if I go to worlds,
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: I have a chance to buy one.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: But there there's the I mean if they make another
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: like say they implemented our plan and then made a
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: poopy VM set, because that could happen.
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: And then.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: Nobody nobody like that's there's a question, is how much
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: if they made the retail available, even in some limited
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: quantity where it's like you could order each store can
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: only order some over buy whatever junk they decided, right like,
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: would they is there even the ability to turn enough
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: for the matter, or is that just functionally reducing the
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: number of sales of regular sets because people are like,
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: you know, like, is are more because they could buy
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: VM or are they going to buy the same number
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: of decks and just split it across more sets, which means.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: Don't don't make a shitty set. That's possibles.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: Helped them do that a little better.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: I mean they're listening. There's listening to play testers too, though.
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: Uh in an ideal world, if you if it's only
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: retail available after the Vault tours end, then stores and
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: communities should have a chance to see if anyone's interested
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: before they're even able to work.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: But that you could just like timing window would meet.
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: Yeah, Look, I don't know. I don't brun logistics for
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: a shipping company like that's on them to figure out
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: dates and ship I'm just throwing that ideas. We can't.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: We can't figure out five.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: Corner. And I'm here to pooh pooh anything you come
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: up with.
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: My complaint is that it should be more available. How
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: and why is up to them to figure out. But yes,
- 1:30:25Speaker 4: when when it's fun, it sucks that it's limited, yea. Yes,
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: And when the first VM deck scans is like one
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: hundred and twenty sasas and his is everyone off for well,
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: this is one loud person off for several years to come.
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: For the rest of us.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Have zero VMI last year.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Also, I don't think we've seen have we seen any
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: VM decks do much of anything?
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: There's been there's one or two of making.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: One or two.
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: I'm chewing with one for storage camps. But that's just
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: because I know I'm going to lose to Barlow, and
- 1:31:01Speaker 4: I want to decide how much fun I'm going to
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: have along the way.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: Yeah, Barlow's got heat.
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: I asked him what what fire he was bringing? He
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: did not answer me. So it's real bad.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: All right time to put a bow on it. You
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: can read all of the new t rg's over it.
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: We have to make fun of you for a a
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: I oh man, Man.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: The episode titles suck.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not so much that, as AI. It's just
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: that the title sucks and the description sucks.
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: What if you used regular intelligence to rate a good title?
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: AI, use it, Well, it'll do a good job. What's
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: wrong with the what's wrong with the AI titles? Oh
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: my god?
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: Just they read like a clickbait headline.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe that's how I told AI to write it
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: with the with the.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: Worst Yeah, everything changed.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: No, No, these titles are not for you. You're going
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: to listen anyway, small but for the few of us
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: who are here.
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: Come on, you.
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Already you are already a part of the show. You
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: listen to it live weekly because I'm okay. These these
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: are these are designed to get people who are like,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: what is this key forge thing? I'm interested.
- 1:32:33Speaker 5: There's no one who is not already following.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: Matter.
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: Bad people, nobody people click on that ship are twelve
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: years old and aren't going to listen to us anyways.
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: You can pull metrics from when you like, like data
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: for new listeners and stuff from when you started doing
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: that versus before, right, like you should be able to
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: pull that from something on that podcast, I said, be
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: able to.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: I can't make them do it. Number one, I can't
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: if it's actually working. Uh, and I can tell you
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: it is.
- 1:33:08Speaker 5: I don't believe it.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: You can. And then he said a statement that agrees
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: with him.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Nowhere did he say, I mean, I can tell you
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: that unique listeners has gone up. I mean it's it's
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: not we're not earth shattering anybody, but the number of
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: unique clicks has gotten up. Which I don't know.
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: Everybody's running. Everybody's running VPNs.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know who the fucks listening to
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: this more than once. I haven't need I don't know.
- 1:33:40Speaker 6: Well, so when it gets bad or too long, we
- 1:33:43Speaker 6: stop it and then we get to come back to
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: it at the later point in time and it restarts.
- 1:33:47Speaker 6: So you get you get a second click there, you're welcome.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: But that's where that's where the unique. That's where the unique.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: So that so what you stop sting to it on
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: your phone and then go listen to it on your computer?
- 1:33:59Speaker 5: Yeah, because.
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: VPNs always.
- 1:34:05Speaker 5: Yeah that's odd, but uh, maybe that's where I am.
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: That's where I have time, So that's fine.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: But maybe one day when we're making buckets of money,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: you know, we can hire somebody to do the se
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: O bullshit for us. That's not today though, No, no, that's.
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: Not going to happen. But you could have an adult
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: AI make our things.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I mean, which one is the adults AI?
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: I don't know the one that doesn't sound click baby?
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: Oh I was going elsewhere with that, but yeah, I.
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: Mean more.
- 1:34:49Speaker 4: You know, after already have access to that one.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: H you want me to do that right now?
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you're gonna getting saved.
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: Oh sure, you could ask it with tone to put
- 1:35:05Speaker 5: it in.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: I like, don't sound like a dipship while you're doing this.
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: I've never just with what we are say snarky asshole?
- 1:35:15Speaker 5: How we got this bullshit?
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: Yeah? A little bit?
- 1:35:18Speaker 5: So much dotation today? Boys?
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: What should be right? A snarky asshole title and description?
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: Do you see snarky asshole? And this is the adult AI.
