- 1:02Speaker 6: And then a little bit later in the show, I
- 1:04Speaker 6: had a great interview with Kimberly Archie. She is my
- 1:07Speaker 6: Erica Jane Tom Girardi inside expert. And she is going
- 1:12Speaker 6: to explain the latest that has happened with some of
- 1:15Speaker 6: the lawsuits, some that she's personally involved in. what is
- 1:19Speaker 6: happening with Erica Jane, what it means to the case,
- 1:22Speaker 6: what they're, all of it is coming. And it was
- 1:24Speaker 6: really juicy and you guys are going to love it. Um,
- 1:28Speaker 6: but first let me tell you the juiciest news is
- 1:30Speaker 6: that I sold out the first show in Dallas to
- 1:33Speaker 6: all my Dallas, Texas peeps.
- 1:35Speaker 4: You were crying.

- 1:51Speaker 6: San Antonio, Houston, then two shows in Dallas on that
- 1:54Speaker 6: November weekend.
- 1:56Speaker 4: But also, it's kicking.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Off in September with Minneapolis and Chicago.
- 2:03Speaker 4: All those dates, including the ones with Chris.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Fangiola, and the one on BravoCon weekend in New York
- 2:09Speaker 6: City with Carlos King. That one is almost sold out.
- 2:12Speaker 6: All these tickets available at heathermcdolland.net.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Get your tickets now. Okay, you guys.
- 2:20Speaker 6: So thank you. I'm finally at 300,000 people on Instagram.
- 2:24Speaker 6: You're probably like, Heather, you loser. I can't believe you've
- 2:27Speaker 6: been on it for that long, and that's how.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Few people you have. Well, social media.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Is a tricky thing. I'm not going to try to
- 2:34Speaker 6: say I can figure it out. algorithms, whatever, showing a titch,
- 2:39Speaker 6: not showing a titch, showing a nipple. I don't know
- 2:42Speaker 6: what gets people to follow you, unfollow you. I will
- 2:45Speaker 6: say I really never lose anyone. I just only gain
- 2:48Speaker 6: like two people a month. So whatever, spread the word.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Thank you for getting me to 300,000. So anyway, I
- 2:56Speaker 6: follow Bethany Frankel and I came across You know that
- 2:59Speaker 6: she was a bitching on her show, which then she
- 3:02Speaker 6: did a clip on it and about how she believes
- 3:05Speaker 6: in a nutshell that because she reviews these makeup lines
- 3:10Speaker 6: and she talked about and skincare lines and she talked about.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Kim Kardashian skincare line and wasn't very complimentary in general.
- 3:19Speaker 6: And page six wrote about it because they had a
- 3:21Speaker 6: slow day and whatever. And so she then said, my
- 3:25Speaker 6: things aren't getting the views they used to, you know,
- 3:28Speaker 6: and what is it about the Kardashians? And, you know, they're,
- 3:31Speaker 6: it's a drug, they're like drug dealers feeding us their
- 3:35Speaker 6: stories all the time. And why is the media doing this?
- 3:38Speaker 6: And look, sometimes you guys think I defend the Kardashians.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Why?
- 3:42Speaker 6: Listen, A lot of us wouldn't be able to make
- 3:45Speaker 6: money the way we're making it today if it wasn't
- 3:47Speaker 6: for the Kardashians. Really, honestly, they were the first people
- 3:51Speaker 6: to really launch, you know, making money and selling products
- 3:55Speaker 6: through social media, being your own independent person, having ads
- 3:59Speaker 6: that they could put on their own Instagram. So that's
- 4:02Speaker 6: why I'm like, you know what? Don't shit on the
- 4:05Speaker 6: forefathers of what we do, okay? And also, like, I
- 4:09Speaker 6: just feel that Bethany... is really bitter. I think she's
- 4:12Speaker 6: really like, hey, why don't I have my jets and
- 4:17Speaker 6: things like they do?
- 4:19Speaker 4: And I just feel it coming through her.
- 4:21Speaker 6: And I don't believe that Kim Kardashian, after seeing her
- 4:25Speaker 6: little video on TikTok called The head of TikTok, it
- 4:29Speaker 6: is like, hi, it's Kim. Can you make sure that
- 4:33Speaker 6: Bethany's videos don't get any more views?
- 4:36Speaker 4: I just don't believe it.
- 4:37Speaker 6: There's times, guys, I have one video that got 9.1
- 4:42Speaker 6: million views. And then I'll post something that I think
- 4:45Speaker 6: is funny and great. We'll post it at the same time.
- 4:49Speaker 4: And it's got like 22,000 views. I don't know. I
- 4:53Speaker 4: don't get it.
- 4:54Speaker 6: I just keep doing the grind and giving my people
- 4:57Speaker 6: the content, Heather McDowell content that they love.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I don't freak out.
- 5:01Speaker 6: If one video doesn't do as well as the other
- 5:03Speaker 6: because I'm just like, well, I'll come up with something
- 5:06Speaker 6: new tomorrow. Like, you know, I'm not like, oh, boo hoo,
- 5:10Speaker 6: you know, whatever. So I thought it'd be funny after
- 5:14Speaker 6: my friend sent me her video bitching how she thinks
- 5:17Speaker 6: the Kardashians keeping her from her things being seen. I
- 5:21Speaker 6: then did a TikTok and real where I said, I
- 5:28Speaker 6: think Bethany Frankel is keeping me from getting more views
- 5:31Speaker 6: because I talked about her on my podcast. And I
- 5:34Speaker 6: talked about how she has this cute young guy. And
- 5:38Speaker 6: she did this post about, I found this young guy.
- 5:41Speaker 6: He's like a big brother to Brynn. He's like a
- 5:43Speaker 6: little son to another son to me, even though he
- 5:46Speaker 6: has a mother. She goes, and I mean, his dad's
- 5:49Speaker 6: a steel worker and his mom's a nurse. And, you know,
- 5:52Speaker 6: can you believe it? But I still invited him to
- 5:54Speaker 6: the Hamptons. We have nothing in common except that he's
- 5:57Speaker 6: tall and gorgeous and has 10 million TikTok followers.
- 6:00Speaker 4: But oh my gosh, I think we can really help
- 6:03Speaker 4: each other.
- 6:03Speaker 6: And I was like, girl, listen, Bethany, you don't do
- 6:08Speaker 6: anything that is not self-serving.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You don't.
- 6:11Speaker 6: I'm sorry. I, I just, that's my opinion of watching you.
- 6:14Speaker 4: I think you're funny. I think you're smart. I think
- 6:16Speaker 4: you're talented. I think you give good advice, but I see,
- 6:19Speaker 4: I see it. And I think many people see it.
- 6:22Speaker 6: So thank you for telling us about the products that
- 6:24Speaker 6: you like and you don't like, but I'm telling you
- 6:27Speaker 6: there's an end game to this and that's fine. But
- 6:31Speaker 6: I just don't think like making it about that the Kardashians.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Are coming after you. And then listen, you don't have
- 6:37Speaker 4: to report on them. You don't have to follow them.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Don't be mad that Page Six does 10 articles about
- 6:43Speaker 6: the Kardashians.
- 6:45Speaker 4: You don't have to.
- 6:46Speaker 6: Listen, they had nothing to write about that day. Some
- 6:48Speaker 6: girl at Page Six is sitting there going, what am
- 6:50Speaker 6: I going to write about today? Okay, well, Kim, you know,
- 6:55Speaker 6: cut her pubes. All right, Kim has shorter pube hairs now.
- 6:59Speaker 6: And she put it on Instagram. So now I'm going
- 7:00Speaker 6: to write an article about it.
- 7:02Speaker 4: And then you have to fill up your podcast.
- 7:04Speaker 6: And then you decide, I guess I'll talk about the
- 7:07Speaker 6: fact that Kim cut her pubes.
- 7:09Speaker 4: That's your choice. That's my choice.
- 7:11Speaker 6: There's days when I do that too, but it's like,
- 7:13Speaker 6: it's not their fault. It's not their fault. You can,
- 7:17Speaker 6: you can talk about that. There's a, the president of
- 7:21Speaker 6: the new head person at NASA is a girl.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Okay. You can talk about that. She's the first woman.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I saw that on today's show. I thought it was cool.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Didn't really think I was going to mention it on
- 7:31Speaker 4: Juicy Scoop, but now it just popped in my head.
- 7:32Speaker 4: So yay. All right. Let's talk about Kim's pubes. You know,
- 7:37Speaker 4: you'd rather talk about that.
- 7:38Speaker 6: And you're like, Heather, She laser haired them off a
- 7:41Speaker 6: million years ago.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I know that. You think I don't know that? I'm
- 7:44Speaker 4: making an example.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Anyway, also, Facebook haunting me this weekend sent me a
- 7:54Speaker 6: memory on my personal Facebook page saying, Heather, we care
- 7:58Speaker 6: about you and the memories you share here. We thought
- 8:01Speaker 6: you'd like to look back on this post from eight
- 8:04Speaker 6: years ago. And this came on Saturday morning.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Sorry, you guys. This is really hard.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Because it was J-Lo's fourth wedding, second ceremony to Ben
- 8:19Speaker 6: Affleck that happened this Saturday. And the photo that Facebook
- 8:23Speaker 6: sends me, like you think they don't know what's going
- 8:25Speaker 6: on in our brains? They freaking do. They send me
- 8:29Speaker 6: this memory from eight years ago. Not a Saturday from
- 8:33Speaker 6: seven years ago. Not a memory from nine years ago.
- 8:37Speaker 6: One from eight years ago that just happens to.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Be J-Lo and I, when we were hanging out. So, yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 6: You think that's not, like, crappy? You don't think that's
- 8:49Speaker 6: not hurtful that we're not friends anymore? Like, you know,
- 8:52Speaker 6: it's like, I get it. Anyway, no, I wasn't invited.
- 8:58Speaker 6: And then I was wondering, well, was Leah Remini? Because
- 9:02Speaker 6: they always talk about them being BFFs.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I don't, I, listen. She wasn't there.
- 9:08Speaker 6: I'm not starting a rumor that they had a rift,
- 9:10Speaker 6: that they're no longer friends, but she was not there
- 9:12Speaker 6: because I went to her Instagram and she didn't post
- 9:16Speaker 6: anything about it.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Not on stories, not on the grid. There is no, well,
- 9:21Speaker 4: you know what? Maybe there is a way.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Maybe she's so scared, like the way Jill Zarin was
- 9:26Speaker 6: scared that she posted about Teresa's wedding and they used
- 9:29Speaker 6: all her photos, like they used all the Jill Zarin photos.
- 9:32Speaker 6: And she was like, why did I have to be
- 9:33Speaker 6: the first one to post? Maybe she, maybe they can't post.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Maybe they can't post because I'd be shocked if Leah
- 9:40Speaker 6: Remini didn't go. But maybe she's also like filming a
- 9:43Speaker 6: movie or something.
- 9:44Speaker 4: And it was also like, I'm good. Now, Page Six.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Was real thirsty. The girl working at Page Six was like,
- 9:52Speaker 6: I mean, my God. Listen, Page Six girl, you could
- 9:56Speaker 6: have wrote about my TikTok about how I thought best.
- 10:00Speaker 6: was keeping me shadow banned. By the way, that was
- 10:02Speaker 6: a joke. For all the people that got that I
- 10:04Speaker 6: was joking, I was joking. I don't know if Bethany
- 10:07Speaker 6: thought it was a joke because she did block me
- 10:08Speaker 6: from TikTok. So Bethany, you probably don't like what I
- 10:13Speaker 6: said about you today either, but like, you know, girl,
- 10:17Speaker 6: I still enjoy you.
- 10:17Speaker 7: Okay.
- 10:18Speaker 6: So Anyway, I guess I won't be able to enjoy
- 10:25Speaker 6: you on TikTok anymore, Bethany. But oh, gosh, I know
- 10:29Speaker 6: she's got I don't don't block me from Instagram because
- 10:32Speaker 6: I still want to see, you know.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Which wet and wild gloss you like best.
- 10:37Speaker 6: OK, so page six, just desperate to write anything said.
- 10:44Speaker 6: Ben Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, won't be attending his upcoming
- 10:48Speaker 6: wedding to Jennifer Lopez in Georgia, even though their three
- 10:51Speaker 6: children will be. I mean, talk about grasping at straws,
- 10:56Speaker 6: page six. The comments were like, really? Did you expect
- 10:59Speaker 6: her to go? Did you expect her to go? That
- 11:01Speaker 6: would be so weird. Mark Anthony wasn't there either. Neither
- 11:05Speaker 6: was Casper. Neither was a A-Rod, neither was the dancing
- 11:12Speaker 6: first husband or second husband, neither was the waiter first husband.
- 11:16Speaker 6: None of them were invited, okay? So whatever, they had
- 11:20Speaker 6: to write something. But the good news is, is that
- 11:23Speaker 6: her lookalike daughter was. The adorable Jennifer Garner lookalike who's
- 11:28Speaker 6: Ben Affleck's oldest daughter, Violet, She was there in Georgia.
- 11:33Speaker 4: So that was nice. She went. Then we saw some photos.
- 11:36Speaker 6: They said, everybody wear white, which is kind of becoming
- 11:39Speaker 6: a new thing. Also, I think when it's your fourth wedding,
- 11:41Speaker 6: you're like, you know what?
- 11:42Speaker 4: Just everyone wear white.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Aesthetically, the photos look amazing. It really, really looks good.
- 11:49Speaker 6: And if you really know your J-Lo, it's not like
- 11:51Speaker 6: you're ever going to be upstage. Because in the olden days,
- 11:54Speaker 6: it was like only the bride wears white. And if
- 11:57Speaker 6: you show up wearing white and you're just a guest
- 11:59Speaker 6: or something or the mother of bride or the mother
- 12:01Speaker 6: of the groom and you're wearing white, like horrible unless
- 12:04Speaker 6: you're told to wear white.
- 12:06Speaker 4: All white wedding parties were in the late 90s.
- 12:10Speaker 6: I was in one. So I was a bridesmaid. I
- 12:12Speaker 6: wore a white dress. That is coming back with all
- 12:15Speaker 6: the party wears white. But now the guests are. When
- 12:18Speaker 6: I went to Kim Kardashian's second wedding, they said wear
- 12:21Speaker 6: white or black because aesthetically I think they thought that
- 12:24Speaker 6: would look better too, that there isn't like prints and
- 12:26Speaker 6: purples and pinks. And then I was scared because I'm like,
- 12:31Speaker 6: is this a trick? Do they really want me to
- 12:33Speaker 6: wear white? But I did end up wearing a white dress.
- 12:35Speaker 6: I thought it was the cutest one. And they were like,
- 12:38Speaker 6: it was fine. I was still invited to parties for
- 12:40Speaker 6: years after that. And then I wore a long red
- 12:43Speaker 6: dress the same year that Chris wore a long red
- 12:46Speaker 6: dress to her Christmas party. And so did Caitlin. So
- 12:49Speaker 6: the three of us were in long red dresses. And
- 12:52Speaker 6: that was the last time I was invited to the party.
- 12:53Speaker 6: So you do the math, you figure it out. Anyway.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:00Speaker 4: So I'm looking at the id, I'm zooming in. I
- 13:03Speaker 4: thought it was kind of an interesting choice.
- 13:04Speaker 6: It's like kind of conservative at the top. We don't
- 13:07Speaker 6: have any like up close photos, but the sleeves are
- 13:10Speaker 6: kind of weird. It's like high up top and then
- 13:13Speaker 6: like a short kind of flowy sleeve.
- 13:15Speaker 4: So very different.
- 13:16Speaker 6: And then a super long train, but pure, pure white
- 13:21Speaker 6: and everybody could work, but they could wear white. Like
- 13:23Speaker 6: they could wear shorts and coffee boots. The guys could
- 13:26Speaker 6: wear golf shorts. Like it was not, it wasn't like
- 13:29Speaker 6: black tie, but wear white. It was what any, whatever
- 13:32Speaker 6: kind of white gig get up, you want to wear,
- 13:35Speaker 6: you can wear. And then of course there was, Oh,
- 13:37Speaker 6: it was, um, this guy, Jay Shetty, who's like a
- 13:41Speaker 6: life coach podcaster. He's the one that did the ceremony again, JLo. Um,
- 13:48Speaker 6: I am an officiant. I married Chris Vangela and his wife, Liz,
- 13:52Speaker 6: but I've never been asked to do it since.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Whatever. I cried a lot, possibly made it about me.
- 14:00Speaker 4: They didn't seem to mind. Okay.
- 14:02Speaker 6: We were all, speaking of Chris Vangela, people are very
- 14:05Speaker 6: disturbed by the fact that they had a lot of live, laugh,
- 14:09Speaker 6: love type of signage, white writing on brown wood. They
- 14:14Speaker 6: went to HomeGoods, like right before, and they wrote Jennifer
- 14:18Speaker 6: and Ben, Baby, I Love You.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Heart and Soul was one of them. There was another.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Love Never Fails. Love Always Protects. It Always Trusts.
- 14:30Speaker 6: These were everywhere throughout this Georgian plantation. Oh, and a
- 14:35Speaker 6: lot of people were like, really? You got married at
- 14:38Speaker 6: a Georgian plantation?
- 14:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 6: But they also said they couldn't have treated the staff better.
- 14:46Speaker 4: They treated the staff very, very nice.
- 14:49Speaker 6: That I just read in Elle magazine, who said there
- 14:52Speaker 6: isn't that much juicy gossip. I'm like, why don't you
- 14:54Speaker 6: just call it juicy scoop gossip? No, you can't, because
- 14:56Speaker 6: if you write that, it's trademarked.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Thanks, Elle.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Anyway, Casey Affleck, younger brother, they caught him getting Starbucks
- 15:04Speaker 6: on Saturday. Just as my notice came in about my
- 15:08Speaker 6: memory from eight years ago, Casey Affleck was getting Starbucks.
- 15:13Speaker 6: And they caught up with him. Why aren't you at
- 15:16Speaker 6: the wedding, Casey? And he's like, I have other things
- 15:19Speaker 6: to do.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Well, nobody knew why. What's the riff? People are talking.
- 15:23Speaker 4: The girl at page six typing away. Anyway, or guy.
- 15:27Speaker 6: Anyway, his girlfriend wrote something under a post that he
- 15:33Speaker 6: did about his son, who obviously is not with the
- 15:38Speaker 6: mother because he has a girlfriend.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I don't think the girlfriend is the mother. I don't know.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Anyway, the kid played soccer, but also like broke his arm.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Maybe he broke his arm a while ago. I don't know,
- 15:49Speaker 6: but she made some comment about, of course you have
- 15:51Speaker 6: to be here. Who would watch your son and his
- 15:55Speaker 6: broken arm or something like that?
- 15:57Speaker 4: She since deleted that comment, but of course somebody caught it. So,
- 16:03Speaker 4: I mean, who knows? It could be.
- 16:05Speaker 6: That he does have a custody situation with his child's
- 16:09Speaker 6: mother and he literally didn't want to screw it up
- 16:12Speaker 6: or ask her to switch weekends. And he was just like,
- 16:14Speaker 6: you know what? If you don't care, Ben, I'd rather
- 16:18Speaker 6: just not go. And Ben could be like, no, I'm
- 16:20Speaker 6: completely fine with you not attending. I don't look, I
- 16:23Speaker 6: don't even want this wedding. Like I thought we were
- 16:26Speaker 6: good when we did in Vegas. I was so happy
- 16:27Speaker 6: she was down to do Vegas. And then she sprung
- 16:29Speaker 6: this on me and I'm like, fine, we can do
- 16:30Speaker 6: it at the Georgia mansion. Go to the soccer game.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Go get your Starbucks. I don't care, but just know
- 16:35Speaker 6: you're going to get some shit for it. And Heather
- 16:37Speaker 6: McDowell of Juicy Scoop is probably going to talk about it.
- 16:39Speaker 6: But hopefully she understands.
- 16:40Speaker 4: And I'm like, I do. I do. Okay.
- 16:44Speaker 6: He just, he was just like, we're good. Now the
- 16:46Speaker 6: girlfriends probably was like, really?
- 16:49Speaker 4: Really, Casey? I'm free. Okay.
- 16:52Speaker 6: I'm free to go to JLo's wedding. I have a
- 16:54Speaker 6: cute white dress that isn't too revealing. It does not
- 16:57Speaker 6: have a cap sleeve like her wedding dress. And I'm
- 16:59Speaker 6: pretty down to go. And he's like, no, we're good.
- 17:02Speaker 6: And then she's maybe too early in the relationship. So
- 17:05Speaker 6: she's like, I'm not going to push it. Like, I'm
- 17:07Speaker 6: not going to be that girl.
- 17:08Speaker 4: It's like, really? You're not taking her to your brother's wedding? Anyway,
- 17:12Speaker 4: he didn't attend. So there you go for the wedding news,
- 17:16Speaker 4: you guys.
- 17:17Speaker 6: Listen, what did I say when I talked about the
- 17:21Speaker 6: love is blind couple that is got married and then
- 17:25Speaker 6: announced their divorce. I said, I wonder if there's another
- 17:29Speaker 6: love is blind couple that was planning on announcing their divorce.
- 17:32Speaker 6: And now we're like, shoot, do we wait two months?
- 17:34Speaker 4: We're miserable. Or do we do it now with the momentum? Well,
- 17:38Speaker 4: they did.
- 17:39Speaker 6: The only other couple that got married on season two
- 17:42Speaker 6: of love is blind. Danielle, um, rule H R U
- 17:48Speaker 6: H L. She's a brunette. She married this blonde guy.
- 17:50Speaker 6: She had like some insecurity issues. I don't even, I,
- 17:53Speaker 6: Literally don't remember it. Even I watched, I watched every episode.
- 17:57Speaker 4: They got married. They too are, they too announced their divorce.
- 18:01Speaker 6: I don't know if they did a big long statement
- 18:04Speaker 6: about protecting their privacy or whatever, but they're out. I'm
- 18:09Speaker 6: telling you guys, next prediction, these thirst traps are going
- 18:13Speaker 6: to try to do love is blind round two. Love
- 18:17Speaker 6: is Blind goes on tour. They are going to try
- 18:21Speaker 6: to do something with this. And that is why when
- 18:24Speaker 6: the other couple did it, they said, you know what?
- 18:26Speaker 6: There's a little momentum now. Let's not wait two more months,
- 18:30Speaker 6: even though Heather suggested that. I say, let's do it
- 18:33Speaker 6: right now and let's all get back on the show
- 18:37Speaker 6: going through it again. And hopefully there'll be like another
- 18:40Speaker 6: couple from season one that breaks up and all of
- 18:43Speaker 6: us can do it.
- 18:44Speaker 4: And it's like round two, Love is Blind.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:48Speaker 6: Let's talk about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We get
- 18:52Speaker 6: into this with Kimberly in a little, but some interesting
- 18:57Speaker 6: things happened over the weekend.
- 19:00Speaker 4: First of all, speaking of Erica.
- 19:03Speaker 6: One thing we talk about in the interview coming up
- 19:05Speaker 6: in a few minutes is about gifts and people who
- 19:08Speaker 6: received money from Tom Girardi, whether that might be a
- 19:13Speaker 6: politician who got donations, a charity that got donations.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Or, in fact, gifts.
- 19:22Speaker 6: So you remember when Erica went off and revealed on
- 19:27Speaker 6: Instagram right around the time that she filed for divorce
- 19:31Speaker 6: that Tom had been having an affair with this female
- 19:34Speaker 6: judge for many years, and she shared text messages that
- 19:37Speaker 6: she found on his flip phone in which she was
- 19:40Speaker 6: showing pictures of her ass, this judge, and saying that,
- 19:43Speaker 6: you know, can you get the plastic surgery, daddy, and
- 19:49Speaker 6: all this kind of stuff. Anyway, via that judge's attorney,
- 19:54Speaker 6: she is returning gifts that he gave her. She doesn't
- 19:58Speaker 6: want them in her possession. And from what I understand,
- 20:02Speaker 6: her attorney's like, so here we go. Now, we don't
- 20:05Speaker 6: know if any.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Plastic surgery was done.
- 20:08Speaker 6: Where they can prove that it was paid with from
- 20:13Speaker 6: money that was in an escrow account for the victims.
- 20:16Speaker 6: But at least some of these items, whether they are
- 20:19Speaker 6: paid from that or not, she has made the smart
- 20:22Speaker 6: move to just be like, let me remove everything. Here's
- 20:27Speaker 6: a necklace. Here's some lingerie. I mean, that'd be pretty
- 20:30Speaker 6: embarrassing to like return your.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Lingerie, but who knows?
- 20:35Speaker 6: I think anything of any real value that he gave
- 20:38Speaker 6: her that was a proven gift from him, she's just like,
- 20:44Speaker 6: get it the hell out of my house, please.
- 20:46Speaker 4: So that happened. That's pretty.
- 20:49Speaker 8: Planning on rewarding your staff this year? Struggling to choose
- 20:52Speaker 8: between a shop gift card or a pay anywhere card?
- 20:55Speaker 8: Stop choosing. With Options Card, your employees get both. They
- 20:59Speaker 8: can spend with Ireland's favourite retailers or choose a card
- 21:02Speaker 8: you can tap and pay with. All in one reward.

- 21:08Speaker 8: handles the rest. It's valid for five years with no
- 21:11Speaker 8: fees chipping away at the balance. Make your rewards more rewarding.
- 21:15Speaker 8: Visit optionscard.ie today.
- 21:19Speaker 7: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 21:22Speaker 7: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 21:25Speaker 7: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 21:30Speaker 7: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:38Speaker 4: filed against me.
- 21:39Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:41Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:43Speaker 7: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 21:46Speaker 7: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:49Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:50Speaker 7: I need a home dad.
- 21:51Speaker 4: What happens next?
- 21:52Speaker 5: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:54Speaker 7: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:58Speaker 7: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 22:01Speaker 7: happens next.
- 22:02Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 22:03Speaker 6: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 22:05Speaker 4: You're worth the work.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 22:08Speaker 4: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 22:11Speaker 7: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:14Speaker 7: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:24Speaker 6: Juicy. Uh, Lisa Renna posted Aspen receipts, like as if
- 22:30Speaker 6: they're actually like receipts in an envelope and then wrote
- 22:35Speaker 6: silencing scolding.
- 22:36Speaker 4: We are now finally on the.
- 22:38Speaker 6: Cusp of the episodes where the girls go to Aspen
- 22:44Speaker 6: and something happens off camera. And then they all go
- 22:48Speaker 6: after Kathy Hilton. Um, it was, The biggest highlight of
- 22:54Speaker 6: Wednesday's episode was the Homeless Not Toothless charity event in
- 23:00Speaker 6: which Kathy Hilton said, look, I'm sorry I'm getting it wrong.
- 23:03Speaker 6: I've worked with the homeless. I've worked with the toothless.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Remember when I told you about the famous pilot reality
- 23:13Speaker 6: show episode that I saw that was on YouTube and
- 23:15Speaker 6: then got removed? That was about the homeless. They were
- 23:20Speaker 6: trying to help the homeless. She, Kathy, and Kyle. That's
- 23:23Speaker 6: what the reality show was going to be about. And
- 23:25Speaker 6: the guy filming it was like heavy breathing. And it
- 23:28Speaker 6: was a song that came out.
- 23:30Speaker 4: With Beverly Hills. That's what I want. And they're making sandwiches.
- 23:36Speaker 6: And Kim Richards is going up to a homeless woman
- 23:40Speaker 6: asking if she could take her for a pedicure and
- 23:41Speaker 6: if she would like to learn how to work a computer.
- 23:44Speaker 7: It....
- 23:46Speaker 6: If anybody has it in their possession, I'm telling you,
- 23:50Speaker 6: if you're a friend of the Hiltons, you need to
- 23:53Speaker 6: destroy that stuff. And if you're not, can you send
- 23:57Speaker 6: it to me again? I would just like to watch it.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Anyway, we're going to see that.
- 24:06Speaker 6: Diana is coming after trying to defend herself because... she
- 24:13Speaker 6: got in it with Sutton and it's, it's very much
- 24:16Speaker 6: like Sutton and Garcelle are kind of up against the
- 24:19Speaker 6: rest of the girls. And she's defending herself in like
- 24:24Speaker 6: tweets and posts and things. And nobody cares about Diana.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Nobody cares about her young baby daddy. Who's playing the
- 24:32Speaker 6: piano and wearing a hat and like, whatever, nobody, nobody cares.
- 24:38Speaker 6: And then all of a sudden she just happens to
- 24:40Speaker 6: walk down the stairs and it's like, He doesn't know
- 24:42Speaker 6: that I'm here to hear him play.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Really? The cameras are all around. Really, Diana?
- 24:48Speaker 6: I just, I also saw something that she's got like
- 24:51Speaker 6: the lowest approval rating. I mean, it's not like she's Biden,
- 24:55Speaker 6: but like the lowest rating of like people enjoying her
- 25:00Speaker 6: as a new cast member. If someone was to do
- 25:02Speaker 6: a rating, I don't know how they would do that.
- 25:05Speaker 6: But anyway, then some stuff went down with Lisa Vanderpump.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Apparently, Teddy on her show.
- 25:14Speaker 6: Said, you know, because Lisa Rinna was so awful in
- 25:19Speaker 6: this episode.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Screaming and fighting and pointing.
- 25:22Speaker 6: And to the fans, a lot of people are pretty
- 25:25Speaker 6: much like, this really was the acting job of a lifetime.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Lisa Rinna took this job and she was like, I
- 25:34Speaker 4: know how to bring up drama. I know how to act.
- 25:37Speaker 6: I can kind of create stuff and fights.
- 25:40Speaker 4: I can cry properly. you know, on cue, I can
- 25:44Speaker 4: do it. So let me do it.
- 25:46Speaker 6: And I think she probably told, uh, Denise, like, Hey,
- 25:49Speaker 6: you should do it. It's a great acting gig. You,
- 25:51Speaker 6: you know, you can just bring the drama when.
- 25:54Speaker 4: You have to get angry. You can have fun. You
- 25:56Speaker 4: can laugh.
- 25:57Speaker 6: I don't know if that was the case, but I'm thinking, um,
- 26:00Speaker 6: and that's also probably why Denise felt so betrayed. Like
- 26:03Speaker 6: I thought we were just going to have fun and
- 26:05Speaker 6: like occasionally like act dramatic with each other. I didn't
- 26:09Speaker 6: know you were going to like tell the, exposed to
- 26:12Speaker 6: the world, you know, that like maybe Brandy fingered me
- 26:16Speaker 6: or not.
- 26:16Speaker 4: Like what the hell?
- 26:17Speaker 6: So anyway, getting to this, Teddy goes on and is like, yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 6: you know, I don't know why the audience is acting
- 26:26Speaker 6: this way or something because let's, Lisa Rinna was really
- 26:29Speaker 6: close to her mom. And so she's acting like a
- 26:33Speaker 6: horrible person. She's acting mean because her mom, her mom died.
- 26:39Speaker 6: So we should cut her some slack. By the way,
- 26:41Speaker 6: I just saw a, um, a tick tock of Lisa
- 26:46Speaker 6: being like, I don't know. Lisa run is saying, I
- 26:48Speaker 6: don't know why people are freaking out about me this season.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Maybe they're just too sensitive because I've been a lot
- 26:54Speaker 6: meaner in previous sentence, uh, previous seasons. I'm kind of like,
- 26:58Speaker 6: why are you like relishing in this of just being
- 27:01Speaker 6: like so cruel and awful and vicious with like.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Your words and, uh, There's so much to dissect with
- 27:10Speaker 4: Lisa Renna. So I don't know. I think she did.
- 27:13Speaker 4: I think she went hardcore.
- 27:15Speaker 6: And then when she realized that it really came off
- 27:19Speaker 6: that hardcore, she's like, remember you guys, I wasn't myself
- 27:23Speaker 6: because I lost my mother. Anyway, Teddy says, you know,
- 27:29Speaker 6: Lisa Vanderpump lost her brother and we got a lot
- 27:33Speaker 6: of heat from the fans that we weren't, didn't show
- 27:36Speaker 6: her that much grace. for a brother that none of
- 27:39Speaker 6: us knew she even had, she had no relationship with him. Well,
- 27:44Speaker 6: that didn't bode well for Teddy because people found a
- 27:48Speaker 6: clip from the season where Lisa Vanderpump was mourning the
- 27:52Speaker 6: loss of her brother and sitting across from Teddy and
- 27:56Speaker 6: Teddy is saying, I know how close you were.
- 27:59Speaker 4: I know you've talked about him a lot.
- 28:01Speaker 6: Definitely knew she had a brother prior to his passing.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Then Teddy said, goes on a walk and is talking
- 28:09Speaker 6: to her phone and is like, well, it's back. The
- 28:13Speaker 6: death threats. I wake up to death threats. And I'm like, well,
- 28:18Speaker 6: you woke up to death threats because you woke up
- 28:20Speaker 6: and you looked at your phone. And I'm sorry I
- 28:23Speaker 6: told you guys. These death threats that people get from
- 28:26Speaker 6: like robots. I mean, I had the Selena Gomez. Wasn't
- 28:31Speaker 6: it Selena who came after me? I had those robots.
- 28:35Speaker 6: I had all the little emojis with a snake and
- 28:37Speaker 6: a rat you know, like a mafia, like you're a rat,
- 28:40Speaker 6: you know, or whatever, little cement blocks, like they're going
- 28:43Speaker 6: to throw me over. I never for one time really
- 28:47Speaker 6: thought like my life's in danger.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:50Speaker 6: So yeah, if somebody is writing something mean to you, like,
- 28:54Speaker 6: come on, do you really, are you going to get
- 28:55Speaker 6: the LAPD involved?
- 28:56Speaker 8: Really?
- 28:57Speaker 6: When we're in like a crisis of crime, you think
- 29:00Speaker 6: they're going to like go showing up at Teddy Mellencamp's
- 29:03Speaker 6: $ 7 million.
- 29:04Speaker 4: House and be like, Show me the DM. Show me
- 29:09Speaker 4: the DM of the woman from the Midwest that says
- 29:12Speaker 4: that you should die.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Like, really? So anyway, I think she regrets what she
- 29:18Speaker 6: said on her show. Lisa Vanderpump got to be dragged
- 29:22Speaker 6: into this this weekend when she should be celebrating the
- 29:25Speaker 6: fact that Sheena Shea is getting married for the second time.
- 29:28Speaker 6: And she finally wrote, like, it's all good.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Like, just leave me alone was like the last thing
- 29:33Speaker 4: she wrote. So there you go with that.
- 29:36Speaker 6: In Real Housewives of Atlanta, um, I just thought this
- 29:40Speaker 6: was cute. Marlo dressed up like the Colonel Sanders of KFC.
- 29:46Speaker 6: And then she and Kanye did not have a great
- 29:48Speaker 6: time in Jamaica together. And then at the end, she
- 29:53Speaker 6: got some KFC chicken from the Jamaican airport, which supposedly
- 29:56Speaker 6: is more delicious there. It tastes different than it tastes
- 29:58Speaker 6: everywhere else. And then Candy went over and was like,
- 30:01Speaker 6: can I have a piece of chicken? And so they
- 30:03Speaker 6: made up. And it was kind of beautiful. And I
- 30:06Speaker 6: was like, I definitely think it was not lost on
- 30:10Speaker 6: the producers when they saw her show up.
- 30:12Speaker 4: In this interview outfit.
- 30:14Speaker 6: And they're like, oh, wait, let's also ask you about
- 30:18Speaker 6: the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Jamaica. And then she was
- 30:21Speaker 6: dressed like the Colonel Sanders. So there you go. The
- 30:24Speaker 6: Real Housewives of Dubai girls are having their reunion. And
- 30:27Speaker 6: they showed their dresses. And they're all super glam except
- 30:33Speaker 6: for Caroline Stansbury, who was originally on London.
- 30:37Speaker 4: She's wearing just like a shirt dress.
- 30:40Speaker 6: I mean, I didn't really cover that much, you guys.
- 30:43Speaker 6: I just feel like Caroline Stansbury is miserable. She doesn't
- 30:47Speaker 6: really like her husband that much because he doesn't know
- 30:49Speaker 6: how pregnancy works. He thinks that you can take the
- 30:51Speaker 6: baby halfway out if it's not cooking right and put
- 30:56Speaker 6: it into another stomach. So we saw that on the show,
- 31:00Speaker 6: and that's pretty much.
- 31:00Speaker 4: All you need to know. And it's just, I couldn't
- 31:05Speaker 4: get that into it.
- 31:06Speaker 6: So good luck with the reunion, people. Oh, speaking of
- 31:12Speaker 6: Pastor Mary, do they call women pastors? Anyway, remember Mary Crosby?
- 31:18Speaker 6: There were those from Real Housewives of Salt Lake, and
- 31:21Speaker 6: there were those tapes where she was berating pastors. her
- 31:24Speaker 6: congregation that they're cheap and they didn't give her enough
- 31:28Speaker 6: birthday cards. We mean like donations for her birthday. And
- 31:33Speaker 6: it's pretty appalling. And the audio was out there.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Well, a similar thing happened. The Guardian is reporting.
- 31:40Speaker 6: In Missouri, a pastor called a congregation cheap for not
- 31:46Speaker 6: buying him a luxury watch. And he was It all
- 31:51Speaker 6: got out there. The thing went viral. Him being like,
- 31:54Speaker 6: I can't believe it. The birthday's come and gone. And
- 31:57Speaker 6: you're so cheap that you did not get me the
- 32:00Speaker 6: Movado watch that's available at Sam's Club. I know some
- 32:04Speaker 6: of you guys have memberships there.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Really?
- 32:07Speaker 6: You couldn't give me, he says this, you couldn't give
- 32:09Speaker 6: me your McDonald's money. You couldn't give me your Walmart money.
- 32:13Speaker 6: You couldn't contribute the money to get me this watch.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Really?
- 32:17Speaker 7: Really?
- 32:18Speaker 4: Anyway, he since said, I'm sorry.
- 32:20Speaker 6: I cannot believe that if you were sitting in a parish,
- 32:26Speaker 6: maybe you're so used to the abuse or whatever that
- 32:29Speaker 6: you were like, oh my God, I do feel bad
- 32:31Speaker 6: like that. I didn't get him this watch. And then
- 32:33Speaker 6: you see the TikTok go viral and you see everyone's.
- 32:35Speaker 6: And then you're like, wait, you're right.
- 32:37Speaker 4: This is really weird. Shocking. Good news, you guys.
- 32:42Speaker 6: And just like that, John Corbett is to return as
- 32:46Speaker 6: Aiden Shaw.
- 32:48Speaker 4: In season two.
- 32:52Speaker 6: I'm very, very happy about this. Um, I really, I mean,
- 32:59Speaker 6: I think he's hot. Um, I believe his hair is
- 33:03Speaker 6: still short. I didn't like it when it was long.
- 33:06Speaker 6: And when he wore like the turquoise rings and was
- 33:08Speaker 6: like a little bit heavier, then he got all like cute.
- 33:11Speaker 6: And then she still cheated on him and dumped him. And,
- 33:14Speaker 6: oh no, no, she dumped him when And who cares?
- 33:18Speaker 6: We all know what happened in the show. So anyway,
- 33:20Speaker 6: last we saw him was in the second Sex and
- 33:24Speaker 6: the City movie where they meet in Abu Dhabi at
- 33:28Speaker 6: the market and she's wearing that big dress and.
- 33:32Speaker 4: She's like, $ 20 for shoes.
- 33:35Speaker 6: She's wearing a big tulle skirt and a Dior shirt
- 33:39Speaker 6: to shop at the, to buy spices.
- 33:43Speaker 4: You know, Miranda's like, I'm going to get more spices.
- 33:46Speaker 4: And She sees Aiden and then he comes to pick
- 33:50Speaker 4: her up.
- 33:50Speaker 6: And instead of her hugging him, she puts her arms
- 33:52Speaker 6: and he picks her up with her arms down, down
- 33:55Speaker 6: by her.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Legs.
- 33:57Speaker 6: It was so weird. Anyway, they make out and I
- 34:02Speaker 6: really wanted them to fully bone, but they didn't. Now
- 34:05Speaker 6: in there, in that he had three kids and a wife.
- 34:09Speaker 6: So this is my prediction. They meet up somewhere. And
- 34:15Speaker 6: he is separated. Living separately, but not divorced.
- 34:23Speaker 4: But going through the divorce. And Charlotte's like, I know
- 34:27Speaker 4: you're seeing Aiden, but I mean.
- 34:28Speaker 6: He's not officially divorced. And she's like, Charlotte, I don't
- 34:34Speaker 6: think you were officially divorced from the Scotsman when, you know,
- 34:38Speaker 6: your attorney, Harry, was getting all up in there.
- 34:43Speaker 4: You're right.
- 34:44Speaker 7: So.
- 34:45Speaker 6: They start getting it on, her and Aiden. And it's
- 34:50Speaker 6: hot and it's exciting, but still the podcast guy is
- 34:54Speaker 6: still kind of lurking around. And, you know, I thought
- 34:58Speaker 6: we were going to date. And she's like, oh, my God.
- 35:00Speaker 6: And then at one point he's like, I don't think
- 35:04Speaker 6: you should meet the boys. I don't think you should
- 35:06Speaker 6: meet the boys just yet. But she accidentally somehow meets them.
- 35:11Speaker 6: And they're now teenagers, Aiden's boys.
- 35:15Speaker 4: And it's a football almost goes by her head. She's like,
- 35:19Speaker 4: I'm not going to be Marcia Brady, you know, with
- 35:21Speaker 4: it hitting her nose.
- 35:22Speaker 6: She they're dirty. They're smelly. Like, and then Miranda can relate.
- 35:28Speaker 6: Cause you know, she's had to pick up Brady's, uh,
- 35:32Speaker 6: tandems everywhere. And so she kind of reacts weird. And
- 35:37Speaker 6: he's like, Hmm, I knew you didn't like Pete, but
- 35:40Speaker 6: really you don't like my three sons. They have a
- 35:43Speaker 6: weird moment. And, and, Then she finds out that he's
- 35:48Speaker 6: still talking to his wife. They break up anyway, and
- 35:52Speaker 6: we find out at the end of the season somewhere
- 35:55Speaker 6: that he is trying to reconcile with the wife.
- 35:58Speaker 7: Okay?
- 36:00Speaker 4: That's my prediction.
- 36:01Speaker 6: Mark this day down, Annie, for when we watch the season.
- 36:05Speaker 6: Let's see how correct I am.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Okay. Update on sorority life.
- 36:11Speaker 6: Annie.
- 36:15Speaker 6: Who went to Mississippi, who was a Kappa Kappa Gamma,
- 36:20Speaker 6: is getting people sending her stuff all the time, okay?
- 36:23Speaker 6: There's signs all over the houses, sorority houses, no audio
- 36:27Speaker 6: or video recording allowed. FIMU, that's one of the big
- 36:31Speaker 6: house there, is permitted to make recordings for promotional purposes.
- 36:38Speaker 4: But nobody in there.
- 36:39Speaker 6: Now, We still don't know because the articles that I've
- 36:43Speaker 6: seen that in fact, that this documentary for HBO Max
- 36:48Speaker 6: about Alabama rush is happening. They're saying it's happening, but
- 36:52Speaker 6: we don't really, really know how much information they got.
- 36:55Speaker 6: If they're just reporting it from, I think they probably
- 36:57Speaker 6: got a little and just like, you know, these Hulu
- 37:01Speaker 6: docs that did Erica Jane and, I think they'll just
- 37:06Speaker 6: get people that are aware of sorority life in general.
- 37:12Speaker 4: They'll be all the talking heads.
- 37:14Speaker 6: They'll find a couple people that aren't related to Bama Rush,
- 37:17Speaker 6: but that had an awful experience or had a great experience.
- 37:21Speaker 6: And then they'll just use the little bit that they
- 37:23Speaker 6: had from Bama Rush online. to, like, catapult the documentary,
- 37:28Speaker 6: which really will be all about sorority life in general
- 37:31Speaker 6: from the 1800s to the ups and when it went in,
- 37:35Speaker 6: when it was really in style, when it went out
- 37:37Speaker 6: of style in the late 60s, when it went back
- 37:40Speaker 6: in style in the 80s because of Reagan, when it
- 37:42Speaker 6: went out of style.
- 37:43Speaker 4: In the 90s because of Clinton and the way it
- 37:45Speaker 4: is now.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Okay?
- 37:46Speaker 6: Another prediction of what that documentary will be like. That's
- 37:49Speaker 6: what it'll be. Also, USC had some juicy scoop happening
- 37:54Speaker 6: this weekend. And so I went and found my album. Also,
- 37:58Speaker 6: I'm trying to do that dirtbag thing. Annie, we have
- 38:01Speaker 6: to work on that. The teenage dirtbag trend on TikTok. Though, like,
- 38:05Speaker 6: I don't have that many pictures of where I'm like,
- 38:07Speaker 6: like laying on the ground puking. Most of them are
- 38:10Speaker 6: me in like a debutante ball gown or studying.
- 38:13Speaker 4: Okay, so good luck with that.
- 38:15Speaker 6: Okay, anyway, I found this thing about, oh, do you
- 38:18Speaker 6: remember when USC was fun?
- 38:20Speaker 4: And I posted it.
- 38:21Speaker 6: And then some people were like, we're sick of hearing
- 38:22Speaker 6: about your sorority stuff. Find something else to post on
- 38:25Speaker 6: your Instagram page.
- 38:26Speaker 4: I'm like, God, bitch. Anyway, this is what's happening at USC.
- 38:32Speaker 6: They, the fraternities, there's like 13 or 14 fraternities and
- 38:36Speaker 6: 10 of them have decided to like disassociate from the
- 38:43Speaker 6: USC Interfraternal Council. They can, I guess, still keep their houses,
- 38:49Speaker 6: but now they won't have to abide by all the rules.
- 38:54Speaker 6: And I don't really know what they're missing out by
- 38:57Speaker 6: doing this. Except USC goes, well, you can't wear anything
- 39:02Speaker 6: that says, like, USC and Sigma.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Chi on it together. Okay. Okay.
- 39:09Speaker 6: I wish I could, like, talk to a kid from
- 39:10Speaker 6: there why they decided. A lot of the houses that
- 39:13Speaker 6: have never been in trouble, a lot of these fraternities
- 39:15Speaker 6: that have never been in trouble, never been accused of anything,
- 39:17Speaker 6: they also decided we want to, you know, remove ourselves
- 39:22Speaker 6: from it, too, because we didn't have any fun.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Like, we didn't have any fun for the last couple
- 39:27Speaker 4: of years. There's probably been COVID. Then there were all
- 39:29Speaker 4: these restrictions.
- 39:30Speaker 6: We only have a couple of years left here or
- 39:32Speaker 6: one year left, and we want to have a fun year.
- 39:34Speaker 4: We want to have parties.
- 39:35Speaker 6: And we've gone through all these other things we've done.
- 39:38Speaker 6: We've hired our own security. We have sober rooms. We
- 39:42Speaker 6: have people in hallways making sure that nothing's happening. We
- 39:45Speaker 6: have this other section. If someone thinks they're ODing or
- 39:48Speaker 6: doing drugs, there's a place to test it.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Like they did all these things.
- 39:52Speaker 6: And then still the school was like, no, you can't
- 39:54Speaker 6: have any parties for this many months. No. Now it's
- 39:56Speaker 6: been extended to this many months. That's what happened last year.
- 39:59Speaker 6: That's what I read in the LA times. And so
- 40:01Speaker 6: then they all got together and they're like, now are
- 40:06Speaker 6: sorority girls really going to be like, we don't think
- 40:09Speaker 6: we want to go to that party.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Hell no.
- 40:11Speaker 1: No.
- 40:12Speaker 4: So it's USC who's freaking out.
- 40:14Speaker 6: It's USC who's like, shoot, maybe we did put a
- 40:19Speaker 6: little too much restrictions on it.
- 40:21Speaker 4: And now we have no control at all. So it's
- 40:25Speaker 4: pretty juicy.
- 40:28Speaker 6: But it definitely was a lot more fun when I
- 40:30Speaker 6: was there. We had a lot more fun. But at
- 40:33Speaker 6: least you can watch TikToks of people's fancy dorm rooms
- 40:38Speaker 6: while you're sitting in your sad dorm room not having
- 40:40Speaker 6: any fun in college. One of the things I noticed
- 40:43Speaker 6: were these dorm rooms things that I've seen people posting.
- 40:47Speaker 6: And some of them are from these big sorority houses
- 40:50Speaker 6: in the south. But they're the dorm rooms, so they're
- 40:54Speaker 6: not even in the sororities. But even women I know
- 40:58Speaker 6: that are like my friends have moved their daughters into
- 41:01Speaker 6: their dorm rooms.
- 41:02Speaker 4: It looks so gorgeous. I mean, I don't even know.
- 41:05Speaker 4: All I remembered when I went was just bring your bedding.
- 41:09Speaker 4: And I.
- 41:10Speaker 6: went and got my bedding and that was it. I
- 41:12Speaker 6: didn't know to like hang things. My mom literally, like
- 41:17Speaker 6: she didn't even make the bed. They were like, well, bye.
- 41:20Speaker 6: And then they went to Gladstones and my dad said, oh,
- 41:22Speaker 6: your mother cried the whole way to Gladstones.
- 41:24Speaker 4: I'm like, well, she could have helped me make my bed.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Like I had no decorations, nothing.
- 41:29Speaker 6: I have never been more happy to be a boy,
- 41:31Speaker 6: a boy mom today because I tried to tell Drake,
- 41:34Speaker 6: can I please buy you some things?
- 41:35Speaker 4: I wasn't going to buy him.
- 41:36Speaker 6: A headboard and a couch and, I mean, dressing tables,
- 41:40Speaker 6: matching lamps. There's actual decorators that do this. They probably
- 41:44Speaker 6: also do balloon art for parties and pillows on the
- 41:48Speaker 6: beach to eat.
- 41:50Speaker 4: And they probably also do... shark cootery boards. Okay.
- 41:53Speaker 6: These are all the same people that do this. They're
- 41:56Speaker 6: really talented. I have none of these genes in my body.
- 41:59Speaker 6: And I'm just like, thank God. I, Drake literally would
- 42:02Speaker 6: not let me buy him anything. He got there and
- 42:04Speaker 6: he spent an entire year without any light. It was,
- 42:08Speaker 6: he didn't even have a lamp. And then he wondered
- 42:13Speaker 6: why he hated the dwarves.
- 42:14Speaker 5: I'm like, what?
- 42:16Speaker 4: I mean, God, look at these girls and look what
- 42:19Speaker 4: they have. Anyway, I think it.
- 42:21Speaker 6: Must be stressful for moms and daughters that do not
- 42:25Speaker 6: have the bank account, do not have the style for this,
- 42:28Speaker 6: don't even know how to go about it, or maybe
- 42:30Speaker 6: they don't know their doormate anyway. And then to have
- 42:34Speaker 6: to see it all on Instagram. You wouldn't know about
- 42:36Speaker 6: it otherwise. I didn't know how cute everybody else's dorm
- 42:40Speaker 6: room was unless I actually walked in and it was like, oh, shit,
- 42:43Speaker 6: that's a lot cuter than mine.
- 42:44Speaker 4: I didn't have to see all different kinds. I'm like, mom.
- 42:48Speaker 6: Why didn't you go to a furniture store instead of
- 42:50Speaker 6: going to Gladstones?
- 42:52Speaker 4: Anyway, I survived. You will too. All right.
- 42:54Speaker 6: Before I bring out Kimberly Archie, I just remembered one
- 42:57Speaker 6: more juicy thing about Real Housewives of OC. As you know,
- 43:00Speaker 6: Tamara has returned and Vicki is her friend. But of course,
- 43:05Speaker 6: she would have loved to been asked first or with her.
- 43:09Speaker 4: But certainly she wasn't happy. She wasn't invited at all.
- 43:12Speaker 6: And she did an interview and she said, well, I
- 43:14Speaker 6: don't know why they they didn't pick me. I don't
- 43:16Speaker 6: know why they picked Tamara over me. Maybe because Tamara
- 43:19Speaker 6: likes to show her tits. I don't, I don't do that.
- 43:23Speaker 6: And I'm like, really Vicki, that's what you're going to
- 43:26Speaker 6: throw out there. You think that a bunch of people
- 43:30Speaker 6: sat around at Bravo and was like, you know what?
- 43:32Speaker 4: We should bring back.
- 43:35Speaker 6: Either Tamara or Vicki from Bravo.
- 43:37Speaker 4: We can't bring them both back. Well, I vote for Tamara. Why?
- 43:42Speaker 6: Uh, because, um, you know, she's 54, 55, and she's
- 43:47Speaker 6: willing to show her tits.
- 43:48Speaker 4: And I just think that's what the women.
- 43:50Speaker 6: At home who watch this really turn their TV on for.
- 43:54Speaker 6: It's seeing other women their age jumping in a pool drunk,
- 43:58Speaker 6: showing their tits.
- 43:59Speaker 4: That's why they watch the show.
- 44:00Speaker 6: So if Vicki's not going to show her tits, we've
- 44:02Speaker 6: got to go with Tamara.
- 44:05Speaker 4: All right, call her up.
- 44:07Speaker 5: I mean, come on.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Are you serious, Vicki? And then, of course, she's like,
- 44:11Speaker 4: I was just sad. It would have been fun to
- 44:13Speaker 4: do it together. But, of course, I'm happy for her.
- 44:16Speaker 4: We know, listen, we know you weren't thrilled.
- 44:20Speaker 6: We know, Vicki, if right now Tamara called you up
- 44:23Speaker 6: and said, Vicki, I just couldn't take it.
- 44:27Speaker 4: It's so unfun without you. I had to quit. Do
- 44:30Speaker 4: you really think Vicki would be like, Tamara, stop it.
- 44:32Speaker 4: You're crazy.
- 44:34Speaker 6: Get that paycheck and have fun and show your tits.
- 44:38Speaker 8: No.
- 44:39Speaker 4: Vicki would be like, well, I told you it wouldn't
- 44:41Speaker 4: be fun without me. That's what would happen. Okay.
- 44:46Speaker 6: Now for my interview with Kimberly Archie, let's get into it.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Now I can say it all again.
- 44:54Speaker 6: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have returned guest
- 44:58Speaker 6: Kimberly Archie. Welcome back. You're our girl that knows everything
- 45:04Speaker 6: about Erica Jane, Tom Girardi, the lawsuits, what's happening now.
- 45:10Speaker 6: Of course, you were on the Hulu doc, and now
- 45:13Speaker 6: you're a famous person from Juicy Scoop.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Congrats.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Woo! I put it on my resume. Oh, my God.
- 45:22Speaker 6: Well, let's a little bit just talk about Real Housewives
- 45:25Speaker 6: of Beverly Hills this season, because you've said you are
- 45:27Speaker 6: watching it.
- 45:28Speaker 4: I am.
- 45:30Speaker 6: And you're watching it with your best friend, Kathy, who
- 45:33Speaker 6: is the mother of Joe, who we saw in the doc,
- 45:37Speaker 6: who is... Explain where they are in the lawsuits and everything,
- 45:41Speaker 6: just to catch people up.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Well, the Rogomas family is really the victims of Tom,
- 45:48Speaker 5: who were the first ones ever to really be able
- 45:52Speaker 5: to stop him from stealing their money.
- 45:54Speaker 4: And so they.
- 45:55Speaker 5: Got a $ 12 million judgment from Tom, and that sort
- 46:00Speaker 5: of set off the whole ricochet of events. That's how
- 46:03Speaker 5: you had Erica divorce him after that, because they kept
- 46:06Speaker 5: serving her to be deposed in that case. And then
- 46:10Speaker 5: once she filed for divorce, then you had Edelson jumped
- 46:14Speaker 5: in with the lawsuit out there because that's the Chicago,
- 46:17Speaker 5: the Chicago case, right? The Lion Air case, the widows
- 46:21Speaker 5: and orphans, of course, everybody, at least luckily, you know,
- 46:25Speaker 5: seems to remember them often in discussing like the fans
- 46:29Speaker 5: often remember the Lion Air victims, which.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Is nice to see. And so then that happened.
- 46:35Speaker 5: And then you had the bankruptcy, which I was one
- 46:37Speaker 5: of the creditors that filed against Tom into involuntary bankruptcy.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Okay. So we're caught up on that.
- 46:46Speaker 6: Now you have some juicy scoop from the deposition. So
- 46:51Speaker 6: let's talk about that and explain what this deposition is
- 46:54Speaker 6: about and when it happened.
- 46:56Speaker 5: You know, I was thinking about how everyone keeps talking
- 46:59Speaker 5: about like how oh, there's been no crime or we
- 47:03Speaker 5: don't know or it's alleged. So, you know, I was
- 47:06Speaker 5: rereading Tom's deposition transcripts from the Rogomez's case in his
- 47:13Speaker 5: debtors exam. And, you know, of course, we saw on
- 47:16Speaker 5: the Hulu doc the one clip where he says, oh,
- 47:19Speaker 5: I had 50, 80 million bucks or whatever.
- 47:22Speaker 4: Now it's all gone.
- 47:23Speaker 5: So I just want to point that out again, because, yes,
- 47:27Speaker 5: there has not been any criminal charges because Tom is
- 47:32Speaker 5: saying he has Alzheimer's. Some psychiatrist in Orange County is
- 47:37Speaker 5: signing off on that. So we haven't seen any investigation
- 47:41Speaker 5: from a criminal perspective of Tom yet. However, fans, journalists,
- 47:46Speaker 5: everybody should realize that Tom has admitted to stealing the
- 47:51Speaker 5: victim's money. And not just the Ragomezes have been proven,
- 47:54Speaker 5: but the Lionair victims is a proven case that their
- 47:57Speaker 5: money was stolen, $ 2 million dollars. Another woman named Judy
- 48:01Speaker 5: Solberg and then also Josie Hernandez, who was also in
- 48:05Speaker 5: the Hulu doc.
- 48:07Speaker 4: All of those cases are proven. So people want to.
- 48:10Speaker 5: Go on to talk about allegations and the decades that
- 48:14Speaker 5: he's been accused of doing this. OK, that's perhaps fair,
- 48:18Speaker 5: although probably doesn't feel good to the people that know
- 48:21Speaker 5: they got their money stolen and haven't been able to.
- 48:23Speaker 4: Prove it yet. But he has admitted to stealing the money.
- 48:28Speaker 5: So it's not alleged. We need to stop saying it's alleged.
- 48:30Speaker 5: And this came up because of Erica talking on the
- 48:34Speaker 5: show and saying how, oh, we don't really know if
- 48:37Speaker 5: the victims lost their money. Well, that's weird because the
- 48:41Speaker 5: same day she said that on the show, the California
- 48:44Speaker 5: Bar took Tom's license because of those cases that I
- 48:48Speaker 5: just mentioned.
- 48:49Speaker 4: They were all listed. Judy Salberg, the Lion Air victims.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Josie Hernandez, they're all in the document saying, you know,
- 48:58Speaker 5: these are cases of example of why Tom should not
- 49:02Speaker 5: have a law license.
- 49:03Speaker 4: So it's not alleged. It's admitted.
- 49:07Speaker 7: Right.
- 49:10Speaker 5: Erica, how in a platform to push Tom's narrative is
- 49:13Speaker 5: just makes my blood boil because and my phone blows
- 49:17Speaker 5: up from victims, you know, all upset hearing her talk
- 49:22Speaker 5: about them.
- 49:23Speaker 4: You know, when they're watching the show, when they're watching
- 49:26Speaker 4: Beverly Hills.
- 49:27Speaker 5: Yeah. Most of the victims are watching, you know, you know,
- 49:29Speaker 5: it's kind of like a train wreck. Like you don't
- 49:32Speaker 5: want to watch, but you feel like you feel compelled
- 49:34Speaker 5: that you have to.
- 49:35Speaker 4: I mean, right.
- 49:36Speaker 5: That's really how I started watching the season. I had
- 49:39Speaker 5: never seen like a whole episode or anything until I
- 49:42Speaker 5: watched that episode for Hulu.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:46Speaker 5: And, you know, I watched it here and there last season.
- 49:51Speaker 5: But this season's been different because, you know, for her,
- 49:54Speaker 5: for Erica to return on another season of the show
- 49:59Speaker 5: and be paid another exorbitant amount of money. And then
- 50:03Speaker 5: her narrative is that she's, drunk and having sex and
- 50:09Speaker 5: the victims are liars.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Yeah well you know um i've gotten a lot of
- 50:14Speaker 2: good d let me tell you baby yeah really honestly
- 50:19Speaker 2: oh and also i just want to point out that
- 50:20Speaker 2: now she is acting like she's a 25 year old
- 50:25Speaker 2: influencer making a great cocktail this is how i make
- 50:28Speaker 2: an old fashion i mean.
- 50:31Speaker 4: I'm so i just want to just so then we're
- 50:33Speaker 4: gonna get back.
- 50:34Speaker 6: Is this like new Yeah, I just noticed she started
- 50:35Speaker 6: doing it.
- 50:36Speaker 4: I hadn't seen that. And look, I mean, she's got
- 50:38Speaker 4: to do it. She's got to join OnlyFans. She's got
- 50:40Speaker 4: to do this. Oh, right. And she joined OnlyFans.
- 50:44Speaker 5: I mean, you know, none of the victims are holding
- 50:46Speaker 5: her back from having sex or, you know, being human
- 50:50Speaker 5: or anything. But, you know, it still is disgusting that
- 50:55Speaker 5: we've yet to see her have any sort of kindness
- 51:00Speaker 5: or anything towards the people who suffered. She still thinks
- 51:03Speaker 5: she's the biggest victim. of Tom Girardi instead of his accomplice.
- 51:07Speaker 5: And that's quite an interesting narrative for somebody who benefited
- 51:12Speaker 5: to the degree that she did from.
- 51:14Speaker 4: The money that he stole. It's stolen money. Right.
- 51:19Speaker 6: So let's get into some of the things that you
- 51:21Speaker 6: just read me from the depot because those, that, that
- 51:24Speaker 6: was pretty interesting.
- 51:25Speaker 5: You know, so of course there's only, you know, certain things,
- 51:31Speaker 5: documents and things that are, you know, out there in
- 51:34Speaker 5: the public or, you know, on websites or have been
- 51:38Speaker 5: tweeted out by one of our great friends.
- 51:42Speaker 4: Ron Richards. I'll let you say his name.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 4: Who's no longer special counsel.
- 51:50Speaker 5: But yeah, you know, so in this deposition were a
- 51:53Speaker 5: lot of things that, you know, are very telling about,
- 51:58Speaker 5: you know, who's who, like, for example, There's one part
- 52:01Speaker 5: where they asked Tom straight out.
- 52:03Speaker 4: And this is in 2020. This was taking place. Right.
- 52:06Speaker 4: This is in October 2020.
- 52:07Speaker 6: So now she's been on the show for a few years.
- 52:11Speaker 4: We've seen her live her life. And this is now
- 52:14Speaker 4: coming down.
- 52:14Speaker 5: And this is like a month before she files for
- 52:16Speaker 5: divorce or like two months. You know, you're talking about
- 52:19Speaker 5: very soon, you know, time period from when he sits
- 52:23Speaker 5: for this debtor's exam and when she leaves him. So
- 52:27Speaker 5: they ask him about the planes. And ask him directly,
- 52:31Speaker 5: does Erica have access? Is she allowed to use the
- 52:34Speaker 5: planes for her own use? He flat out says no.
- 52:39Speaker 4: That's not what's on the show. And it's not how
- 52:41Speaker 4: she portrays.
- 52:43Speaker 5: But when he's under oath, he's saying like, yeah, I mean,
- 52:47Speaker 5: these are my planes. She rides with me. But, you know,
- 52:50Speaker 5: they're not for her use. That's hilarious because isn't she
- 52:54Speaker 5: on the show like, we have two planes and One can,
- 52:57Speaker 5: you know, jump across the U.S. and the other one,
- 52:59Speaker 5: you don't need gas to go to Europe.
- 53:01Speaker 4: You know, we're fabulous. Whatever. I can't do voices. Oh, right.
- 53:04Speaker 6: I know, but I remember, you know, we see, I
- 53:07Speaker 6: can't remember when, but, you know, the girls get on
- 53:10Speaker 6: the plane for something and the Bravo people film it.
- 53:13Speaker 4: I remember we saw it.
- 53:15Speaker 6: And so Hattie, so if you'd said, yes, she does
- 53:20Speaker 6: and she has used it and, you know, there might
- 53:22Speaker 6: be a trip or two that there's visual evidence of
- 53:25Speaker 6: from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
- 53:27Speaker 4: How would that have hurt him if he had said that?
- 53:31Speaker 5: Well, if he was writing off the planes as 100
- 53:36Speaker 5: percent expenses for, you know, his business or for pretty
- 53:40Speaker 5: mess or whatever, even like it. But Tom owned the
- 53:45Speaker 5: plane with another attorney. So for a long time, the
- 53:48Speaker 5: planes were owned in a corporation with him and Walter Lack. Now,
- 53:51Speaker 5: in 2018, him and Walter Lack sort of had separations
- 53:56Speaker 5: of sorts, at least with the planes anyway. And then
- 54:00Speaker 5: he put it into a corporation with another guy named Edelman.
- 54:04Speaker 5: So that's who sort of has control of them now.
- 54:08Speaker 4: Edelman does. Right. Even though Edelman is suing him now. No,
- 54:13Speaker 4: that's Edelson. Oh, this is confusing. Edelman.
- 54:16Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We got a lot.
- 54:17Speaker 4: I know, lawyers.
- 54:18Speaker 7: Like, yeah.
- 54:19Speaker 4: Well, there's a lot of lawsuits, Sutton. There's a lot.
- 54:22Speaker 4: Which one? Get in line. I mean, that was a
- 54:26Speaker 4: great scene.
- 54:27Speaker 5: You know, the whole drawn-out thing about Sutton being the
- 54:31Speaker 5: liability rather than it being Erica and then Erica, like,
- 54:37Speaker 5: hissing at her that I told you to shut up. No,
- 54:40Speaker 5: you told her to keep her mouth shut because you
- 54:42Speaker 5: didn't want to have any lash back.
- 54:45Speaker 4: You weren't telling her to be quiet to protect anyone.
- 54:48Speaker 5: Like if she like, for example, you know, Ruth Madoff.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Yeah. You just really never heard from her again.
- 54:53Speaker 5: Like she moved to Florida, lived with her sister for
- 54:56Speaker 5: a couple of years, kept her mouth shut. Then eventually
- 54:59Speaker 5: she moved to Connecticut and lived in one of her
- 55:02Speaker 5: son's houses.
- 55:03Speaker 6: Just to remind everybody, Ruth Madoff is a Madoff the
- 55:06Speaker 6: Ponzi scheme guy.
- 55:08Speaker 4: But what was his name? What was his first name?
- 55:10Speaker 4: Bernie Madoff. Bernie Madoff. Yes.
- 55:12Speaker 5: He just passed away not that long ago. So interestingly,
- 55:15Speaker 5: you know.
- 55:16Speaker 6: And in that juicy story and sad, one of the
- 55:20Speaker 6: sons actually committed suicide.
- 55:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:23Speaker 6: Which it seemed very much that it was a circumstantial suicide.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Somebody just asked me the other.
- 55:29Speaker 5: Day, had anybody who worked at Geordie Keys, has anybody
- 55:33Speaker 5: committed suicide yet? And I was like, oh my God,
- 55:37Speaker 5: you know, I was like, no, no. I mean, there
- 55:40Speaker 5: was an attorney that had a heart attack as all
- 55:43Speaker 5: this was like imploding, sitting at his desk at work,
- 55:47Speaker 5: which was really sad for, I mean, he had a
- 55:49Speaker 5: young wife and kid.
- 55:50Speaker 4: I mean, he wasn't that old. He was, Oh, he
- 55:53Speaker 4: passed because he passed away. He had a heart attack
- 55:55Speaker 4: and passed away. Yeah.
- 55:57Speaker 5: So, you know, obviously we don't know if the stress
- 56:01Speaker 5: was related to it or not, but it does make
- 56:03Speaker 5: you wonder, you know, these kinds of things are really serious.
- 56:07Speaker 5: That's why it's so shocking. You know, we saw in
- 56:11Speaker 5: the L.A. Times article just recently, well, they had a couple. And,
- 56:15Speaker 5: you know, when you see it said this is the
- 56:17Speaker 5: largest legal scandal in California history. California is the fifth
- 56:22Speaker 5: largest economy in the world. It could be its own country.
- 56:26Speaker 5: This is the biggest legal scandal in California history.
- 56:31Speaker 4: It's kind of a big deal.
- 56:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:35Speaker 5: I don't think even now, and it's been over a year,
- 56:39Speaker 5: year and a half since the bankruptcy, that we even
- 56:42Speaker 5: have begun to understand the number of people that Tom
- 56:47Speaker 5: harmed and.
- 56:48Speaker 4: The people who helped him. I mean, that's the big
- 56:50Speaker 4: question from all the victims right now. Like, what about
- 56:53Speaker 4: all the people who helped him? What about them? Not
- 56:56Speaker 4: just Erica.
- 56:56Speaker 5: And the victims really aren't concerned about Erica being like
- 57:01Speaker 5: the person who stole their money because they don't see
- 57:03Speaker 5: it that way or at least the ones that talk
- 57:05Speaker 5: to me. It's more about how she benefited from it
- 57:10Speaker 5: and that she's so brassy about it. And it's hard
- 57:13Speaker 5: when you're sitting in your house that needs repairs and
- 57:17Speaker 5: your money was stolen and you're watching her.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Right. And I mean, that's tough.
- 57:24Speaker 6: I mean, according to her though, if you're going to
- 57:26Speaker 6: be like, you know, it's, I don't have anything. She
- 57:30Speaker 6: said that in one of the confessionals, she's like, do
- 57:32Speaker 6: you think I want this life? You know, do you
- 57:34Speaker 6: think this life sucks or whatever? She said, you know,
- 57:36Speaker 6: she's like, my house sucks, but you know, I'm not,
- 57:39Speaker 6: I'm no longer married. I don't longer have my house.
- 57:41Speaker 6: I don't no longer have my life. Like, you know,
- 57:44Speaker 6: so my, so she's in like her defense, if you're
- 57:48Speaker 6: going to be like pro Erica, Okay, from a different standpoint. She,
- 57:54Speaker 6: you know, her house is still nice and she's on
- 57:56Speaker 6: a show, but she's basically, you know, presenting that she's
- 58:01Speaker 6: like kind of starting over and just living.
- 58:03Speaker 4: Off of her money. Are all of us that were
- 58:05Speaker 4: around her? Oh, I agree. Yeah, I mean, I agree.
- 58:07Speaker 4: She's not alone in that either. So, you know, ask
- 58:09Speaker 4: the partners.
- 58:10Speaker 6: So when you say who else, you know, helped and
- 58:13Speaker 6: benefited besides Erica, Erica benefited, but who helped pull off
- 58:18Speaker 6: this scam?
- 58:19Speaker 4: Do you mean the other attorneys at Girardi and Keese?
- 58:24Speaker 4: It could be.
- 58:25Speaker 5: I mean, who signed, you know, who could sign on
- 58:28Speaker 5: the accounts? You know, what about these private judges that
- 58:32Speaker 5: were involved in a lot of these settlements and strange deals.
- 58:38Speaker 4: That we're hearing about?
- 58:39Speaker 5: I mean, we had our own character in Kathy's case
- 58:42Speaker 5: that was used over and over again to make it
- 58:45Speaker 5: seem like he was you know, keeping a hold on
- 58:49Speaker 5: Joe's money or something or that they he was, you know,
- 58:52Speaker 5: helping Tom protect Joe or whatever.
- 58:54Speaker 4: But that was the whole thing.
- 58:55Speaker 6: Like, we don't want to we don't want to give
- 58:57Speaker 6: you all the money right now because we don't want
- 58:59Speaker 6: you to be taken advantage of. We're going to invest
- 59:01Speaker 6: it for you. That's how they kept you. guys Kathy
- 59:05Speaker 6: Anderson originally collecting the amount once it was said you
- 59:10Speaker 6: have won this amount right they won 12 and they.
- 59:13Speaker 5: Gave him one so yeah so you know to have
- 59:18Speaker 5: somebody like Tom see even somebody like me who's close
- 59:22Speaker 5: to him I never thought Tom made his crazy money
- 59:26Speaker 5: meaning you know being a person of wealth to have,
- 59:32Speaker 5: to have private planes, you really got to be to
- 59:34Speaker 5: quote my brother, a billionaire, not a millionaire, you know,
- 59:37Speaker 5: a billionaire with a B, you know, not a little
- 59:40Speaker 5: M because you can't afford to keep the, the, the
- 59:44Speaker 5: cost of it to maintain it, to fly it, to
- 59:47Speaker 5: deal with all the crew.
- 59:49Speaker 4: It's in it.
- 59:50Speaker 5: If it's not an expense for a company, it's just
- 59:52Speaker 5: a ton of money that you're literally just throwing, you know,
- 59:57Speaker 5: out the window. And so, uh, you know, it, it,
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: It was always a telltale sign to me that, you know,
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: if Tom had planes, then he must have invested this
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: money and made his money investing. You know, so let's
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: say he got a million from a lawsuit and he
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: turned it into 10.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: And this is the impression that he gave you. He
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: was always talking about, oh, I met with so-and-so, so-and-so.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: Oh, I'm doing this.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: I'm invested in that. Oh, you know, I'm dealing with
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: this casino. Oh, we're doing this idea, this patent thing.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: So you're not.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: Thinking he made his money just.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: From this one stream.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: Yeah. But now you wonder how much of it was
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: ever invested in, you know, was he this great business
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: guy that he made people out to believe? His partners
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: thought it too.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Everyone did. Right.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: Not just the Bergomezes. Everyone around Tom. thought that he
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: was this brilliant business guy who had made money in
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: the legal profession and had a Rolodex a mile wide,
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: which for people who don't know what a Rolodex is,
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: that would be your iPhone.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: The contacts section of your iPhone.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Tom's in his 80s.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: He had a flip phone, remember? So he didn't have.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: He had a Rolodex and a flip phone.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: He didn't have an iPhone with contacts in it. So.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Anyway, but yeah, so we didn't think that his money
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: really came from that. So that was one of the
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: shocking things that came out of all this is that
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: a lot of the money that they had was stolen.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: And we don't know all of the victims going back.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I mean, Kathy's got an Excel spreadsheet a mile long
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: of all the lawsuits over the years. Most of them
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: disappeared or had settlements or they were thrown out because
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: there were times barred. Most of the time, it took
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: people longer than the statute of limitations to figure out
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: that Tom had taken their money or to think that
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: he was a bad guy enough to try to do
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: anything about it. So they would go to court and
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: eventually they would throw it out and say, well, you
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: didn't file it in the right time period.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: They didn't say. nothing wrong was done.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Now, I'm just kind of curious in all these other
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: cases that are not as, you know, maybe not at
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: the 11 million mark that the Rigomezes are. So I'm
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: just wondering, was it kind of like, okay, I'm part
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: of this lawsuit and I heard, whatever they say, I
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: got you guys $ 2 million, I'm just saying. So he goes, well,
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: here's 800,000 and the rest is coming later. So you're
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: like very happy to get that $ 800, 000.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: And then you're like, well, where's the money? And then
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: you're like, where's the money?
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: And then time passes or maybe he throws you another $ 100, 000
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: or something. And you're still like, but wait a minute.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: And now so many years have passed. And then maybe
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: he'll go, well, here, here's another $ 50, 000 and it's done.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: And now they can't afford the attorneys.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: And they're like, or maybe even in their head, they're like, well,
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: I guess I'm still lucky to have gotten the 800.
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: I mean, like almost, I almost wonder if like in
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: doing this thing, if he was conscious of it to
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: be like, if you're my.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: Client, he was conscious and entitled, you know, one of
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: the things that he would say to clients and he
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: said it to Kathy Rago, and he would say it
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: to other folks too. Like Josie Hernandez really had similar
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: communications with Tom, you know, I did a great job
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: for you.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: I mean, I did the most amazing job.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: And this is, I think, the worst part of it
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: all is he did do an amazing job on the
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: legal side of it, getting this insane settlement.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: You know, what most people sort of miss in all.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: Of this is that our court systems have, you know,
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: not been working for the everyday person for decades.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: You know, the average person can't afford a bankruptcy, a divorce, anything.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: I mean, how are you bankrupt, but you can't afford
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: to pay a lawyer to do the bankruptcy?
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: That's the typical person. If they need to get divorced,
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: they can't afford that.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: And if they get injured, they get thrown into the
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: personal injury. You know, I call it the Girardi-Catherine will now.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: I mean, you know, you're thrown into this thing of
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: contingency fee lawyers and who do you pick? And if
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: you have a good case, they're all coming after you.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: If you have a not so good case or something new,
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: nobody wants it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: I'm wondering.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: If the way he kind of got away with it
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: all these years and what I meant like he was
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: consciously doing that is if he gave the client a
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: little lower expectation of what we might get. I'm just hypothetically.
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: So like you come to me and you're like, I mean,
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: this is awful that what happened to me in this accident.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: And he's like, Kimberly.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: I really think we can get you $ 1.
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: 5 million.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: And to you, you're like, wow, that sounds really great.
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: They never promise anything, really. Lawyers really don't promise amounts.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: If anything, but you're in the right direction.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: Wait, let me just finish.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: So then I'm thinking like, okay, if that's the case
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: or something... Or they somehow say, well, for this person,
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: we got them 1.5. Let's say we have all those
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: on their website. We have a similar thing.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: Yeah, right. Exactly.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: Like you see those commercials. I got Larry H. Parker
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: got me whatever. So you're like, okay, for this kind
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: of crash and this kind of injury and because it
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: was a big trucking company that hit me or whatever,
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: you see that and you're thinking, well, hopefully I'll get 1.5.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: He does such a good job.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: He gets you 8 million.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: So now you know you have $ 8 million, but.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: Then he piecemeals it to you. And by the time
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: you've only collected three of the eight, he's keeping the five.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: And then for all those same reasons, now you've spent it.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: But in your mind, you've got way more than you're...
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: No, you're exactly right.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: That's why I'm saying that maybe some people didn't totally
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: go after him.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: No, it's 100%. Because they were still, like, pleasantly pleased.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: That's why I feel like he doled it out to
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: people to see... how much he could keep. He would
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: test it. How much are they going to push back?
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: What are they going to do? Who are these people? Right.
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: And the other thing that I've thought about a lot too,
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: along these same lines, it's like, you know, he was
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: often known for helping, you know, not somebody that had
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: a lot of means or maybe they really just had
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: no idea what to do.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: They didn't know where to.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: Get education or connections or any kind of connection. So
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: he was known for taking those kinds of cases. Almost
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: sounds like a predator, doesn't it?
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: So he picked people that he knew were the little guy,
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: the real David and Goliath. The David who could never
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: go against him if that were to ever happen.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: And that's why I always say, you know, he really.
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: blew it when he thought that kathy regomez was one
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: of those people because she's not.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: In simple terms she got the ball rolling like in
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: very simple terms and didn't let it ever.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: Stop every time they tried to stop it she kept
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: pushing and kept pushing and kept pushing and i think
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: she'll continue to push not just for herself you know
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: but for the overall um you know justice for everybody
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: for The system to be better. Because, you know, that's
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: really what all this is alluding to. Like, who let
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: Tom do this? You know, what entities? What organizations? What partners?
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: What politicians? What politicians?
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: What governors? If you look at the.
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: Bernie Madoff thing, the politicians had to pay that money back.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: The banks that were, you know, in bed with Madoff,
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: they had to pay money back to victims. So Bernie
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Madoff's bankruptcy was in 2009. So if you look at
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: what's going on now, 85 percent of those, you know,
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: millions of dollars that were stolen from victims have been
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: returned to them.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Where did they find it?
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: They went after they took back the politician donations. They
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: went to the banks. I mean, they went they have
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: left no stone unturned. And so, you know, I say
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: to people, if we look at the Bernie Madoff bankruptcy
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: and what happened in that, we can really see the future.
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: of Erica and Tom Girardi's mess because it's very similar.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: I mean, this was a true Ponzi scheme involving investments.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: Tom's was very quite similar.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: You were promising people things and taking more than your
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: share and making up a fantasy about part of it
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: and got away with it until you were in your
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: older years. And then it all implodes. I mean, you
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: got to wonder like, He made it through his entire
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: lifetime being able to do pretty much whatever he wanted.
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: Yeah, being the toast of the town, marrying young women
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: and cheating on even her.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: He could be fun.
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: I mean, if he was your friend and liked you
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: and wanted to do nice things for you and wasn't
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: doing something harmful to you, you know, you were thinking
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: he was charming and connected and fun and, you know, yeah.
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: And I mean, I know people that were very good
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: like family friends in which he did help certain children
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: in their family with, you know, getting into law school
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: or offering to and things like that and helping out
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: of jams and in another state and that type of stuff,
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: because he was so well connected. Let's just talk a
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: little bit about the episode, um, that aired last the
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: other night and the attack on Sutton. So Sutton, um,
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: It goes to say, you know, you call me a
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: liability as a friend.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: Who's the liability?
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: You're the liability in the friend circle with all the lawsuits.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: And so then Sutton says, I got a letter from
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: a lawyer, and now I have to hire a lawyer,
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: which is smart.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: She should.
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: And then Erica said, that's because of what you said
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: in the reunion.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: You said you heard a rumor. What did you say?
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: Are you talking about the rumor from the old show
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: where they were saying the partner left the firm because of.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Correct, yes.
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: Well, that's true, though.
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: I mean, that's true. It's not a rumor. The partner
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: left the.
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: Not only did a partner leave, a ton of people left.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: If you ask victims, like one of the victims that
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: left probably like a year before everything imploded was because
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: they had had like eight lawyers or whatever because every
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: lawyer assigned to their case kept leaving.
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: You know, it went from like 50, 60 lawyers down
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: to only... you know, so many people left there.
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: So, you know, to act like it was ridiculous, it's
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: 100% true. So what do you think the attorney is
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: hoping to get out of Sutton?
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: And why do you think they did only reach out
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: to Sutton and not the other girls?
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: Oh, well, my opinion about that letter, I mean, what
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: would Sutton have to offer right now at this point?
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: Why did he, you know, maybe he thought she was
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: the one who would cooperate the most, but I would
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: assume it's Edelson from Chicago.
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: And I mean.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: You know, to me it was a PR thing to
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: get on the show. I mean, he probably hoped they
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: were going to say his law firm's name. I mean,
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: how cool would that, it's.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Like a free commercial. Like you're talking about lawyers, like
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: they're on billboards.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: I mean, they're commercials.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: Sweet James. Yeah. Yeah. It's like a sweet James kind
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: of deal. Exactly.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: You know, so I, and, and here's the thing, and
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: maybe he would get a witness that would give him
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: some info.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: Like, was he digging for some, I mean, yeah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: Um, Is it Sutton's responsibility or fault or, oh, she
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: should have been quiet?
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: No. Sutton is 100% correct. Erica's the liability.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: Not only is she the liability, which she called Sutton,
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: but she's also the liar, which she called Garcelle.
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: So she's just projecting. Everyone, you know, psychology 101. We
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: can all see it. Like, if you call someone else that,
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: it makes it harder when you're called that because it
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: looks like someone's retaliating or saying, you.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: Know, you're a liar too, Erica.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: So she's playing offense.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: I thought it was a pretty disturbing episode how vicious
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: Lisa Rinna has gotten towards Sutton.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: Like, she freaking hates Sutton and Garcelle. Hates them. And
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: I'm like.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: Is it over the Elton John thing? Like, I'm still
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: confused about, like, why they're still.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: I mean, I love Elton John so much. He's the best, but...
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: And so I could see why you could obsessively think
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: about him all the time. I was watching it again.
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: I'm confused.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: I was watching it again last night. Isn't it from
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: last season? There was one point where she goes... And
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: first of all, I don't understand why Garcelle is getting
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: the venom from Lisa Renna. She didn't say anything about
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: the Elton John movie because she... told Sutton to bring
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: it up I'm like I don't know because at one
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: point she screams at the toothless not homeless or the
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: homeless not toothless a bit she's like and she's like
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: I'll say what the fuck I want and she's screaming
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: and the two charity girls are like you see.
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: The two faces of the charity girls yeah the two
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: girls are like I love them yeah by the way
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: I thought they were they're like queens like little memes
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: they should have put crowns on them because they're like.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: Looking like, what the fuck is happening? And they're not
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: saying anything, though. They're so polite. They're sitting there. I
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: think one of them even kept her mouth closed, which
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: I don't know how. I would have been like.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: Basically, what I've read from today, because we're recording this
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: the day after it aired on Thursday, is... People are
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: thinking that Kyle and Rinna are way too much producing
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: the show and trying to be the stars. And that
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: Rinna is just being a horrible person and blaming.
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: It on Lois' death.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: For some reason, they do believe Erica, though. I mean,
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: for whatever reason, whatever the case may be. And I
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: heard some Bravo bloggers say, like, you know, we have
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: to do this. We have to be impartial. And wait
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: until we see more information and we see.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: Like criminal charges or whatever.
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: OK, but there is moral issues and there are criminal issues.
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: And perhaps, you know, both matter. Yeah.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: So we don't need for someone to go to jail
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: to say like this is obnoxious, ridiculous behavior. I mean,
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: the premise of the show and you guys, you know,
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: obviously I'm not an expert on Hell's Wives.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Is they're supposed to be friends, right?
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: Right. So me and Kathy are watching it together. We're like,
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: next month we'll be friends 50 years.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: Yeah. We're like, friends don't act like that. You wouldn't
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: do that to your friend. That's how friends are.
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: Even the so-called fierce five or whatever.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: Yeah, the fat. Well, it's. What is it? It's Doreen.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: I don't know if it's the force five. Oh, is
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: it four? Five or four. Maybe I'm just adding it.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: It's Kyle, Rinna, Erica, Doreen. I think it's just the four. Oh. Well,
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: maybe they had a fifth last season?
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: Yeah, and then the other side is going to be
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: Kathy and Garcelle Sutton and, yeah.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: Crystal. Crystal, yeah.
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: And so with, you know, and it was interesting because
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: I noticed in the episode they were kind of like
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: hinting of sort of setting up with finally we're going
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: to see or hear about with what happens in Aspen where.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: supposedly Kathy.
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: Said something because all of a sudden she comes over
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: to Garcelle and this conversation, maybe it was a weird edit,
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: appears to have come out of nowhere.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: It wasn't a good edit. Cause she's like, you know,
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: I was with, uh, you know, Rick, her husband, and
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: you know, he's just been married.
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: We've been married for so long. Cause he was a
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: good Catholic boy and he went to Catholic school.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: I'm like, what is this?
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: And then she's like, and he just said, you know,
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: I could say the wrong thing or something and be
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: canceled forever. And I was like, That's a weird foreshadowing
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: that they just did because the rumor is that she
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: uses derogatory terms that were not caught on camera, but
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: the Fab Five or whatever, the fourth five will back it.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: But meanwhile, they're harassing Garcelle for mentioning Erica's drinking with
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: her medications out of control.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: But they're ganging up on Crystal for having an eating disorder.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: Even when she was apologizing and she was like, I
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: didn't like what just happened here, Sutton.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: I didn't like it.
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: I took it out on you and Sutton was being
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: nice and was like, it's fine.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: You can take it out on me. And then she's like,
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: it's not about you, Sutton. I was like, oh my God.
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: You're just like, you like literally Sutton could not win.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: Like they're just, I don't.
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: But isn't Sutton like single and very strong and has money.
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: And is, seems very state, you know, stable.
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: And she seems also to be, um, You know, really
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: looking into, you know, the legal aspects of things and
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: her interest in the law has sort of made her
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: stern sometimes when they probably would prefer her to be
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: more fun or silly or let them just skate over stuff.
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: And she's been kind of like, no, no, no. Her
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: and Garcelle do that. And I think that's why they get,
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: you know.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: So much pushback. And the love from the audience.
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: They're not real, real, like, longtime friends. I mean, some
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: of them that come on these shows have had some
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: kind of past long connection. So you see a little
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: bit more real chemistry on camera.
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: Now, what was the lawsuit that was where Erica was
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: served coming out of LAX?
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: After coming back from Hawaii with Lisa.
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: That was Edelson's lawsuit from Chicago. Well, he's now filed
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: it here. So he filed the Rico case here in California.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: And so they had to serve her for the new filing.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: And if you were to guess, you think it's that
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: case in which they are calling. It was confirmed that
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: they're calling in Sutton to be a third party witness.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: I mean, I would say so because of the fact
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: that they showed the headline from Chicago when they were
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: talking about it.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: But we could be assuming from that. I don't know
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: who else it could be.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: But, you know, like we said, it could have been
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: it's either Edelson or Ronald Richards. I mean, it's not
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: really going to be anyone else. You know, most people
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: like in the Gomez case, they did. subpoena Erica to
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: do part of the debtor's exam. Same thing, you know,
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: as Tom, because of the finances, it's a community property state,
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: but they didn't sue Erica. They weren't chasing any headlines
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: or anything. They just wanted to stop Tom. So when
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: you see people go after Erica and, you know, we
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: expect the IRS to do that. But I often, when
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: I see people include her wonder, you know, will she
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: have assets to pay anything back for one, but it's
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: already a community property state.
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: State, you know, do they add her in just for headlines?
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: Right. And then she says, um, she does talk about
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: her love life. So she talks about, she's gonna, you know,
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: be a dominatrix and maybe start like a dominatrix business.
- 1:19:03Speaker 5: Hey, the world needs a lot more 50 plus dominatrix.
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: And, um, And then there was a question, oh, was
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: she with Armie Hammer because he was her neighbor? And
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: then who are all these people she's getting?
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: And then she did say.
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: She was with a guy older, but not as old
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: as Tom.
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: And everybody thinks it's this Vegas guy.
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: I mean, it wouldn't surprise me if it's somebody in Vegas.
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: I mean, her ex and her ex-mother-in-law live there. There's
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: a lot of ties to Vegas and gambling and All
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: of that from Tom anyway. So it wouldn't shock me.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: Wouldn't shock me.
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: I saw on Instagram she was like following and he
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: was following her back. Some guy overseas that had, you know,
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: tons of money and pictures with like tigers and crazy
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: palaces and stuff.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: And I'm like, oh, she might be on the prowl. Yeah. Well,
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: you got to do what you got to do. Hey,
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: you got to find a new... you know, sugar baby job.
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: I mean, if that's your gig and it's worked for
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: you in the past, I mean, she's not going to
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: be able to live on what she makes from the
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: show minus taxes.
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: She's not used to that. Right. I mean, she's trying
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: not to really. Where are the earrings now?
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: The earrings finally, what happened with the diamond earrings finally?
- 1:20:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: So, well, they've been in a safety deposit box for
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: a hot minute and they're still kind of really contesting.
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: I mean, I think she's appealed it now.
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: So it was said that they have to give the
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: earrings back, that they proved that they were paid for,
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: like the check to the jeweler. Okay, you guys, this
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: is not alleged. Let's follow me on this.
- 1:20:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: The check to the jeweler came from the account where
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: victim's money is supposed to only be.
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: Got it. Literally, period.
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: Those earrings were bought. with the blood of people who
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: died or had cancer or were in a car wreck
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: or some other horrific thing, lost a family member. It
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: was literally bought out of the fund from the victim settlements.
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: It's serious. And I mean, I just say, and right
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: now diamonds are went up in value.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: Like they were inflating a lot. So they really need
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: to get those diamonds taken. out and cashed and get
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: some money back before it drops or something. Cause right
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: now they're like at an all time high.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: So the other.
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: Thing though, I mean, the sad part is though, still
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: it now is going to be, you know, crunched through
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: a bankruptcy, which, you know, there hasn't been much money
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: paid to victims. 18 months later, it's mostly been paid
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: to lawyers all fighting over the money.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Now this, I came across this woman on Twitter, Susan Bassey.
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: And she is, So I sent her TikTok to you
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: and you went through it.
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: I watched all of her TikToks. I went down the
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: rabbit hole. Why don't you explain a little bit?
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: I'm not like a true Bravo-like person. Like anytime someone starts,
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: then I like go the next, the next.
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: I mean, you can't help it.
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: But this is a very interesting thing about the California
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: lawyers and judges who are private judges.
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: Can you explain?
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: So her TikTok, what she's really like digging into is
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: how There's a company called Jams, which it's the largest
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: of its kind in the country.
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: And it's really global.
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: And they do mostly, you know, mediations and arbitrations. So
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: a lot of the people that work there are attorneys
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: and former judges. Technically, though, like in California, anybody really
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: can be a mediator.
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: You take this like $ 500 class. and you're a mediator.
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: You don't need a college degree.
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: They say you're supposed to have familiarity with the law
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: or whatever, which I don't know how you would get
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: picked as a mediator if you don't have a law
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: degree or you don't have some kind of specialty background
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: I don't know how the two lawyers would go, hey,
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: let's pick this mediator that knows nothing. That'll be great
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: for us.
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: But there's really not a lot of regulation or oversight
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: or any of that. And so you have Kate, there's
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: kind of two parts to jams. So like the Ragomez
- 1:23:07Speaker 5: family used jams for their mediation. So Justice Pinelli that
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: people heard about in the Hulu doc was the person
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: from jams. And he's a retired judge, bigwig judge. So
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: his name was often used by Tom to keep the
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: Ragomezes in line. So his stature you know he's a
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: retired judge he's so well respected he's even more important
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: than Tom you know if Judge Pinelli's saying it like
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: oh okay you know we should listen up so they
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: have this incredible amount of power in these cases and
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: a lot of things are just sort of off off
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: the radar so to speak and in some of Tom's
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: cases some of them allowed him to do things with
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: money that the judge literally ordered them not to do
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: and then they let him do it anyway So it's
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: just sort of a very loosely knit organization that is
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: infiltrated into our legal system. So family law is another area.
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: She goes into the family law stuff a lot and
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: it's a good example to understand it because it's more
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: everyday people.
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: A lot of people have been through divorce. 50% or
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: more people get divorced.
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: So let's say you have some assets and you know,
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: you're fighting over custody of the kids and you're fighting
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: over your assets. They have jams, you know, deal with
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: your divorce sort of.
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: Outside of the court.
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: So you have like this private judge being your judge
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: and they may, they decide and they'll drag it out
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: and they can run up crazy costs. I mean, they
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: charge anywhere from, you know, a thousand dollars is not
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: unheard of and even higher. And some of them even
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: want cash.
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: It's kind of crazy. Like How do you like, oh,
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: I want a thousand an hour. It's it's bizarre. And
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: this woman, Susan, I mean, I don't have the balls.
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: She does to like take a, you know, camera and
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: put it in a judge's face and an elevator and
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: be like, hey, you make a lot of money doing this.
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: Like, what do you do? You know, I mean, I
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: couldn't do that. She does another ones because I heard
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: TikTok is nuts. Go check out. I'm telling you, it's
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: a rabbit hole.
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: I watched every single one. I mean, she's, she's a badass.
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: She's like, like I said, it's not my person. I
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: couldn't do what she does. Cause she's literally like, you know,
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: pretend you're the judge. She's like, okay, so you make
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: a thousand bucks an.
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: Hour from these people.
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: You know, what do you have.
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: To say about that? You know, she just puts them
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: literally on the spot and won't leave. They're like, you're crazy.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: One guy was like, you're nuts.
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: Get away from me. Get away. You're a public official.
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: I have the right to ask you these questions.
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: Have a right to ask for these documents you're being
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: a judge you're playing a judge in a family law
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: case and she's just hammering and she's telling them the
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: law when i saw that about that with the family
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: law i was like oh my god it's like family
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: law is so screwed up in california and to know
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: that this is like playing a role i just really
- 1:26:03Speaker 5: feel for people that ever have to go through it
- 1:26:06Speaker 5: in California, especially.
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: And to know that, and it's all linked to the
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Tom Girardi too.
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: I mean, we can thank Bravo and the Bravo fans
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: for being so interested in what Eric is doing, that
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: it's actually uncovering some things that needed to be uncovered,
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: you know?
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: So we'll just say like, yay for the Bravo fans.
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: They're like super sleuths that, you know, they're really into this. And,
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: In one hand, it's uncomfortable to hear people always talking
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: about something that's your real life online or even on TV.
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: But on the bright side of it, I mean, maybe
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: we can finally get a court system where access to
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: justice is actually.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: Possible for people.
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: Maybe that's asking for too much that everyday folks could
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: get a divorce or file bankruptcy or get a good
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: lawyer if they get rear-ended in an Uber. But I
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: don't think so. I, you know, I think it's doable
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: and I think it's cool that if they're going to
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: exploit this on TV, that something good comes out of it.
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: And so, you know, good for Susan that she's getting
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: traction and I'm sure even more Bravo fans will go
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: see her stuff.
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: She's bold. Yeah. Awesome. Well, I'm so glad you came.
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: You always come and really explain it all well. And
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: it'd been a while since you've come. So tell everybody
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: where they can follow you or if they want to
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: ask you a question or write you.
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: You can find me on Twitter at Kimberly Archie or
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: Instagram at Cheer Safety.
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: And I don't have a bunch of websites. And so
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: there's just too many. That's the easiest way. Twitter ground
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: is easy. Yeah.
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: Thank you. Thanks for having me. Always.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Every used car has a story. Some sellers tell you everything.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: Some leave out the spicy chapters. Before you buy, check
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: the car's history with cartel.ie. Uncover the bits that might
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: be missing from the story, from mileage history and previous
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: damage to outstanding finance. Because the wrong car can cost
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: a lot more than the check.
- 1:28:38Speaker 8: Cartel.ie.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Don't buy the story, check it.
