622. The Major Trend that is Silencing Your Soul · Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights

Hello, and welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. This is Kara Goodwin, and I'm so excited to be here with you today. Today is Friday, August 14th, 2026. Now, if you're watching this on YouTube, I am hoping that the technology is gonna work properly. I have had a couple of episodes lately where I, um, something flips in the tech where... And I don't know it when it's happening. I only know it in the replay, and the screen gets glitchy. It's really bizarre. I've had other things that have happened while I'm live streaming , there are just, like, flashes and the, the video will just stall, and it's only... It doesn't... None of this happens on the raw
• 1:00
file. So I record these always on Zoom so that I can get the audio and release it as a podcast episode, and then I'm also recording it on YouTube, and these glitches don't happen in the raw file. It only happens in the YouTube. And then also interestingly, sometimes some of these things only happen if you watch it in Chrome, and it doesn't happen if you watch in Safari on YouTube. And sometimes it happens, you know, either place, but not on the raw file. So I don't understand that. Um, but I was seeing some indications of having some technical issues before I started this, so now I'm just streaming this through Zoom. So we'll try that and see how that works. It is interesting to understand. Like, some of the things that I talk about are, um... Sometimes, you know, I'm talking about entities, and I'm talking about, you know, energetic entities, so it is interesting to me
• 2:00
that the technology sometimes gives out, um, because that can be interference. And the fact that it's happening, um, you know, just through YouTube sometimes and just through Chrome sometimes and not through Zoom, not through Safari, that's, has my attention. Because it's not just like, oh, my, something's wrong with my camera, or something's wrong with the connection to my computer. It's more than that, and it's deeper than that. So I don't know. I don't know if there's some sort of energetic interference or if it is something technical. It's not something I'm seeing on other channels, and it's not something that I experience regularly. So I don't know, but it's interesting. Today, we're gonna be talking about, um The sameness of things, the root of the sameness, and really the important piece of this is what this has to do with
• 3:00
your soul and your purpose. And so what do I even mean by the sameness? What I'm talking about is anymore the emails that I get, and I'm not talking about per- nec- not necessarily personal emails, but emails from people who are marketing themselves for services or wanna share information to a lot of people. Um, marketing materials, so things that have like flyers that we see, um, any like digital marketing that's coming through. Even, like if I'm looking at social media, sometimes people have personal posts where it's not even that they're marketing anything, but their captions all have the same flavor. They're using the same pattern of language, and what do they all have in common? They are written by AI. And I'm really curious if everybody is
• 4:00
noticing this, if it's a, if it's as obvious to everybody else as it is to me, or if this is hidden for a lot of people. Um, to me, it's super obvious, and it's happening all day, every day, what this all has in common is this AI element, and it's that people are using AI so much that everything is starting to blur together. And so of course, like, the content of the emails is gonna be different. Some- one email might be talking about astrology, another might be talking about a, an environmental, um, initiative. Another might be talking about my kids' school, another might be talking about some supplement or whatever. It doesn't matter. The content, what's, what they're talking about is different, but the formula is the same. And so there are these common things like, um, a big one that you'll see all the time
• 5:00
is this isn't this, this is this, you know? And, and so, you know, maybe it's like, this isn't paranoia, this is pattern recognition or whatever it might be, you know. Uh, and I'm at, big into pattern recognition, so I'm just saying, like, this is like they'll- there's this reframing of like you might think this is this, but actually it's something amazing that you, you know, don't worry about this other thing that you're worried it might be ordinary or something to avoid. Really this is exclusive and it's this. And there's also the, the repetition of the threes where they'll just say, like, one or two words with a period, and then reinforce it with one or two other words with a period, and reinforce it with one or two other words with a period. Um, just general things like that. If
• 6:00
you are tuned into this, you will see this over and over and over again. And that's annoying in and of itself because it just... Anymore, what... And this has happened for a while now, I don't even... When I notice the pattern, I stop noticing what they're actually saying and I'm just looking for the pattern, and I lose trust. And this is another big part, and this is... I want you to be aware of this because, one, be aware if it's happening with you in terms of receiving this type of content, but also if you're doing this. If you're relying so heavily on AI that you're using it for all your communications, even your personal communication, or if you're in some sort of place where you're dealing with the public and you're marketing yourself or you're marketing your company or whatever, um, and you're trying to communicate with a lot of people at once and you're relying really heavily on AI, understand that
• 7:00
even I, I would argue even if they don't consciously recognize they're doing it, they are recognizing that it is coming from AI, and that's giving a sense of inauthenticity. For me, if someone's trying to position themselves as any type of expert or authority and I recognize that AI pattern in there- They, that authority, that expertise, it, it takes a nosedive because I don't know how much you're relying on AI. You know? Are, is, is AI generating everything? Are you saying, like, "I wanna write..." Are you being very, very broad with, "I want to talk about the dark night of the soul," but you know nothing about the dark night of the soul. But now you've got email content, you've got social media content, and you're just copying and pasting, and that tells me a lot.
• 8:00
Um, I'm not a purist. I don't wanna come on here and make you think, like, I don't touch AI. You will see from my thumbnails in YouTube, like, those are clearly AI-generated. Uh, sometimes I do u- Well, I do use AI to help me with my show notes a lot of times. Usually for these Lives, I will kind of use it a little bit, but it's really me just kind of getting some formatting issues. Like, okay, yeah, make sure that I include the list of what we're gonna talk about and things like that. But I do a lot of heavy massaging in there because I want it to be my voice, and I want it... And I am telling it precisely what I'm gonna be talking about, what is... And that is coming from my higher self, and that is coming from the connection with source. I am not doing any sort of AI, what are people searching for with spiritual awakening, or what are people
• 9:00
looking for, what are people watching on YouTube? I get those kinds of prompts all the time. Like, there are services even within YouTube itself where it's going, "Here's what... Go and search what your audience is looking for." And this is the type of advice that's being given for content creators, that we go in and utilize AI to say, "What are people searching for? What are people watching for?" Yes, that is interesting, but can we trust it? Like, at the end of the day, I don't really trust AI that much. I know... We- AI has been caught lying and drifting, and, um, there's just so much evidence that what it's saying that it's doing, it's not actually doing or it doesn't... it's not getting the right data, and that it, it is not worth our trust. And so I don't even know how much I could trust it to tell me what s-
• 10:00
people are searching for, so I ignore all of that. I use my own intuition, my own inspiration, my own alignment- And I would rather be authentic and listening to my inner guidance and have fewer views than have some explosive thing because AI is telling me that's what everybody's looking for. Because at the end of the day, I don't want us to just be in this echo chamber where it's like, okay, well, AI is saying that this is what people wanna hear, and who knows how much of what people wanna hear is because AI is feeding it to them. It's this whole thing. I'm like, no, I, I don't wanna get into that hamster wheel. So anyway, all of that to say I'm not here to say there's no place for AI. I'm a small business owner. It's just me. I'm like a one-person team, so it would really be foolish of me to say I'm not doing anything with AI, especially
• 11:00
things like show notes, thumbnails, things like that. But my emails will come from me. I write those by hand. Well, by hand? I guess that would be handwritten. I don't hand write them, but I type them by myself from my own creative force. My social media, I am writing those captions myself. My, any reels, these things, these are not scripted. You can probably tell they're not scripted. I am using my own inspiration even for the topic that I'm gonna be talking about and the bullet points that I use and what things I wanna cover. And that is important because we are here to express ourselves at the soul level through this human vessel And so you, you are a physical body, but
• 12:00
you are comprised of eternal energy. That is your soul. And you very deliberately, as an eternal soul, came into this limited human life with the gifts that you have, with the talents, with the thoughts, with the, the ex- and you came here to express yourself. And when we talk about self-expression, that can sound very creative. You know? It, that could sound like it's reserved for artists and musicians and maybe people who are into crafts. But everybody is here expressing themselves. When we talk to each other, the way that we share, the way that we move, the way that we express our emotions, all of
• 13:00
that is our creative force. The way that we communicate with each other, the way that we express ourselves on social media even, if we're creating reels, those, you know... We have the opportunity to let our thoughts and words come out natively and not be perfected and whitewashed by a computer, by an algorithm to say, "No, you don't wanna say that," or, "This is the way that you wanna frame that so that it sounds like everybody else." That's really what is happening right now. We might be getting, you know, different types of topics that people are talking about, but it's all coming through in the same way. And so what we're ha- what we're seeing is this washing away
• 14:00
of the unique expression of who we really are, and it's all becoming the same. And I really would love to know how much you're noticing this. Like, is it just me? Am I the only one who's... I know I'm not the only one. Um, but the other interesting thing here too is the different ways that people see what is happening and how they internalize it. So I mentioned, uh, Instagram. You know, I- that's where, that's my social media connection, and I, I have different waves of paying attention to it a- more and not. You know, I'll get, like, kinda deep into it and then need to pull back, um, because I feel like I'm spending too much time on it, and I can feel that it's really coloring my life experience way more than I want it to, so I have to, I know I have to pull back, kind of find myself again. Um,
• 15:00
but I in my... So those are all algorithmic, right? So it's like whatever you stop on, whatever you watch, whatever you spend more time on, the algorithm will show you more of that. And I personally am cautious, to say the least, about AI. I am, um, not super excited about parts of AI. Again, I see benefit, but I think it's a very slippery slope. And so my algorithm is feeding me a lot of anti-AI rhetoric. And so from my perspective, when I go and engage with social media- A lot of the content that I'm being fed seems to suggest that a lot of people are becoming anti-AI. Now,
• 16:00
that I understand, you know, that another person who loves AI, they won't be seeing any of that, and so they might be like, "I don't know what you're talking about. I get a lot from AI. I love AI." So this is where I'm always like, what is real? Like, what is the percentage of the people who are like, "AI is dangerous. We need to watch out. We need to be careful here. We can't just give ourselves away," and what are their reasons for that? And, like, how many people are just gung ho, can't get enough of it, trust it completely, super excited about it? And I don't have that answer. You know, I don't know if anybody... I mean, I'm sure there are people who are deep in the data and the metrics and so forth who, who do have a better view of that, but for me, it's all subjective, right? It's not objective. But what I'm seeing is that people are really concerned about the environmental indications, um, and impacts of these
• 17:00
data centers, uh, the amount of water that's being used, for example, the amount of power that's being generated, and how these resources that are being siphoned by these data centers that are... There are way, way, way too many of them being created, and they're being created in these rural communities, and they're siphoning natural resources from these data centers. Or sorry, for, from these rural communities that are gonna negatively impact them. So that is, um, one of the major, major reasons that people are turning away from AI. But there's also the, um, the f- there's the psychosis. There are people who are so deep into it that they're, they're getting this... They're, they're not... They've lost their ability to, um, see, to They're in psychosis. They're believing everything that AI is telling it, and AI is building them
• 18:00
up, and it's reinforcing this narrative within them that they are, uh, super special and above things and people, and they're believing this. And they're, uh, you know, in the spiritual community, you have people who are believing this about their soul, uh, lineage, you know, that they're part of... But from a spiritual perspective, they're some, you know, amazing spirit from planet XYZ, and they've done this kind of technology thing and, and they're, and they're You know, that's interfering with their human life, and p- very possibly with their real purpose and mission of being here. There may be some truth into what they've tapped into, but it nonetheless, you know, that's in the... That's, you know, not necessarily what they're here for here. Um, but I have seen that
• 19:00
be dangerous and take people over in, in scary ways, um, where they're... You can see they're getting into dark magic. They think they're in white magic, but they're, um, they're just being pulled along, and at that point, they're losing their own authority from a spiritual perspective. That's a little bit of a different topic than what I'm talking about here today, but it's still very real. Other pe- other concerns people are having related to AI are, um, the, um, the, the surveillance. So AI is heavily tied to this surveillance state, kind of the Orwellian, like we're being watched all the time, and this, you know, potential for like, um, everything to be tied together and then, like, your finances to be tied to your behavior, to be tied to your access to your funds, and all of
• 20:00
these things that all go together. The heart, the backbone of that is AI, and so a lot of people are very upset about it from that. So all of that to say that when I see people claiming that they are some sort of authority or expert, and then I can see the AI patterns that are in their communications, that is a big red flag for me. And so take that into consideration in your work. You may not even be doing something in the spiritual community. It doesn't matter. If you're wanting to be, like, a roofing expert, but it is clear that your, you know, your intel and your communication and everything is coming from AI, it begs the question, and I think that, that are you really an expert, or are you just getting all of your information from
• 21:00
AI, and how accurate is the information that you're getting from AI? But particularly with people in the spiritual community, it really makes me question how much- You know, if, if your content is coming from AI, if it is derived from AI, if AI is telling you what to talk about, what points to bring up, what are your, uh... And how to structure your communication, you know, if you're wanting to be an authority in the spiritual community, then you're supposed to be tapped in to the authenticity of who you are. You're supposed to be tapped into God, and to pure source consciousness, and to your own higher self. So why are you outsourcing any of that to AI? That doesn't make sense. That, in and of itself, that is self-actuating. That is self-evident. And so we need to think about that with the, the information that we're taking in as we awaken.
• 22:00
Who are we? Who are we trusting? And there was something else with that. Oh, this coming back to the soul purpose, and your purpose on this planet, and it as the creative force that you are. You are here to express yourself fully as the divine being that you are, and that's gonna be different for everyone. You are going to ex- very organically and naturally, your expression of the true spirit that you are will be different from another person. This is why not everybody is supposed to be an author. Not everybody is supposed to be an artist. Not everybody is supposed to be a speaker. Not everybody's supposed to be channeling other beings. These are
• 23:00
all different expressions of creative force. And if we were all looking at the people that we admire and saying, "Okay, well, they did that, so that's what you do This is how they express themselves as a divine being, and so that's how one expresses themselves as a divine being, so now I have to go and be a teacher of this modality because I admire this person who's teaching this modality. No. That is not... That might be, it might be that you feel very connected with what somebody else is doing and it sparks within you a passion, like it ignites something that you're like, "Oh, I really wanna do that." That doesn't... That, that happens, and that's legitimate. But you will do it in your own way. You will have your own expression of doing that. And so the bigger concern of seeing this
• 24:00
proliferation of AI where it's just, it's just an infection, and all the communications ac- w- everywhere are coming from AI, and they sound the same, they smell the same, they feel the same That is we're losing something precious. We're losing something really precious. And I just really encourage you to look at what you're creating, look at what you're consuming, and value the creative expression that is flowing through people. Value that. And I believe that as more people awaken, as we go deeper into this AI, um, you know, we get more and more used to it, we see- we know more and more what we're looking at,
• 25:00
it will be easier to discern, and we can look backwards at stuff that has been created in the past and discern, okay, this person is legitimate. This person is authentic. I couldn't see it before, but now I can see it, and I trust this person because I can see that they could have taken the faster, easier route and let AI tell them what to do, but they took the more authentic, slower way, and they had let themselves be expressed. I was talking about this actually with a friend of mine, uh, this week over coffee, and I was relating it to slow food. You know, we had a slow food movement. I don't know if that's still a thing, but there was this
• 26:00
appreciation for, and this value that was placed on slow food. What can develop, the flavors that can develop, the, the difference when something is cared for and really refined and thoughtfully prepared versus slapped together, gotten into a container so that you can quickly consume it. You know, the slow food, it's gonna be more expensive, but it's going to be more valued. It's more precious. People will pay more for it because they want something that has been prepared with care. And so I feel that as we continue to evolve, as more people awaken, as more people start to recognize and be able to spot the difference between the quick, the, the, you know, cheap, the fast AI, and
• 27:00
the really tuned in and aligned content, that we will see people Moving and choosing more of that authentic. And, um, you know, I'm taking this into account with my own creations. I've got this, uh... Michelle Qureshi and I have this, um, p- uh, mindful pregnancy collection that we have out now that's supporting people who are in their pregnancy journey. And every, you know, I... That is completely intuitively created. It is... There is no part of that where I was having AI create the script. Michelle was not working with AI to come up with her music for that. It is from the heart. It is very deliberate. There are prayers that are put into that. It is a loving... It's ta- it's taken time. We've been working on the second
• 28:00
collection for weeks. I'm hoping to be able to get that out in the next few days. But we have another collection that's coming out, and it's a slow process because it is... I, I have to have the time to connect with myself and with my... with, with Source and what wants to come through. What is going to be for the highest good? I've gotta word it with intention and pull in those high vibration energies, and intentions, and prayers that the whole thing be for the highest good, for the person who's listening, and for everyth- everybody who is, who is engaged with their journey in that. So it's very intentional, it's slow, and it is, um, organic, and I value that. And I hope that, you know, when that gets released or the women who are using the pregnancy one, that they feel that and receive that, and
• 29:00
take the time within themselves to really be able to absorb that as fully as they can. So, so thank you so much for taking the time to be with me here today. I'm gonna put a link actually to that mindful pregnancy series. If you or someone that you love is going through that journey, that would be a great way to support them. It's very affordable, and it helps to support my work and Michelle Qureshi's work. Um, and so that would be greatly, greatly appreciated, um, all the way around. And I hope that you have a beautiful day full of blessings. Thank you so much for being here. Bless you. See you next time. Speaker 2: Thank you so much for joining me for this episode of Soul Elevation. If someone in your life would be inspired or uplifted by what you heard today, please take a moment to share it with them. These are the kind of conversations that ripple out and elevate collective consciousness. And if
