- 4:54[SPEAKER_04]: I hope you're appreciating it.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I was talking to some people yesterday.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_04]: Who was County people?
- 5:00[SPEAKER_04]: Good, good Godfaring people.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_04]: And they went out, you know, they'd like to go out on drives and they were telling me how they went down to old forage and it was packed with people.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_04]: And over to big moose and all of those places.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and how wonderful it was and how many people there were and things going on.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's just great.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_04]: It's just, you know, people don't take advantage of that enough.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: Some of the beautiful places.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_04]: So get out there and enjoy the fall colors and all of that stuff.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_04]: You know, people had a good time and Clayton over the weekend at the punk and chunking thing.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm talking about making something about a nothing.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they get a few people have built these catapults and then they got this event and it attracts a lot of people.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: It's a good idea, for a tourist town, not a good idea what they're doing in Paris, for a tourist town, but wow, now the Louvre is now closed, yeah, I wonder if they'll cancel that football game and a fellow game there this weekend, it is bad, what's going on, that's the precursor, that'll be going on here, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:06[SPEAKER_04]: Hey did you go to the no kings rally on the square over the weekend?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't, but it looked at some video I saw, I don't know, it's a news coverage in this town of anything, um, I don't know, but I look like a pretty good crowd there, people, I don't know, but you know, those people are like a lot of people.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_04]: I bet you have them, don't even vote.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_04]: They carry on like that, they don't even vote.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_04]: Let's talk it to somebody this morning, isn't it?
- 6:33[SPEAKER_04]: I said if you voted yet, they're gonna go down to Florida the end of the week for, you know, a while.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, my wife and I, know you're not.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_04]: There'll be some excuse.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_04]: I said you come back here with the I vote sticker on and we'll talk.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's what we need.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, it's just the way it is.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Tyson, you walk into a store or diner anywhere.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say you walk into a diner and you see three people sitting at a table.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_04]: interior and Jefferson County.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_04]: This is God's, God's strike me down if I'm wrong.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_04]: They're all adults, 18 or older, all residents, one of those three will vote.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_04]: One, despite the enormously high electric greats in this state and the taxation and everything else, one and three of people at that table will actually vote.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_04]: Whether it's an antwerp or the resour or Alex Bay or Clayton or
- 7:29[SPEAKER_05]: One and three will vote in this county.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_04]: Now this county is no different than anything else.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_04]: Little better in Louis County.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_04]: I won't say it.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_04]: But, and I don't know about St. Lawrence County.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_04]: But then, you know, nobody cares.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_04]: Does it make a difference?
- 7:44[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know this.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: Does it make a difference with the governor's?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_04]: I just look at it.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know if Blakeman can do anything, he probably can't.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_04]: but good garden and it can't be whole life matter she seems pleasant all of that i mean you know i have nothing against her either personally but she has to curry favor with the downstate people you know you know in downstate in New York city you were ninety eight percent of their electricity is generated mostly through natural gas to fossil related fuels so when they all talk about the clean new deal
- 8:25[SPEAKER_04]: I can't say the word on the air, but it starts with a B, and it's just crazy.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_04]: The people buy it, yeah, I'm a teacher, I'm voting for the local, but she's for the great new deal, even though it's a great new deal is.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_04]: So it's too bad, it's too bad, and I'm no big fan of it.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_04]: I was so happy when a few months ago when,
- 8:51[SPEAKER_04]: Stefanik said she was gonna run it out finally somebody knew and different a young a young family growing up Oh, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah The future and I don't represent the future, obviously most of you don't either But good God and then she gets out forced out by Trump's nonsense And then we get Bruce Blakeman and we got to come to terms with Bruce Blakeman Bruce will not go north of the throughway
- 9:17[SPEAKER_04]: unless he's going to the race track and say her program but that's a little different so he doesn't like to go north of the through way feels uncomfortable there and uh... not sure really understands life up here but and and is running mail who the hell is he Todd would i don't know who he is never seen him couldn't pick him up up pick him out in a lineup same thing with hoax running me is that i don't know she is
- 9:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's incredible, you know, the people that get put in front of us by the parties, by the Ron McDougle crowd, Ron McDougle, go downstairs, all of you want this, Adam's woman is running, make sure that's great with me, you know, who the hell she is?
- 10:04[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I'm sure that Don Koon is, I don't know if he's ever met Bruce Blake, when he certainly hasn't probably met Todd Hood, so he doesn't know.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_04]: Who's the Republican candidate for Comptroller?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I'm going to vote for Denapoli in that one, but who's the Republican candidate up here for Attorney General?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_04]: We got to get that woman out, Tish.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_04]: But nobody up here, you know what I mean?
- 10:31[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see what happens.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see what happens.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_04]: But I have decided.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_04]: I'll vote for Blakeman.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'll vote for obviously.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_04]: comrade ready to read that there for attorney general and uh... probably offer time to the apple because i think he's a decent guy i like time i don't know him real well i wouldn't call him time if he wouldn't studio here like probably vote for him as far as the other stuff i've been decided yet i'm waiting for somebody to ask me uh... seven five what do we got congress state set up
- 11:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, assembly, but Scott Grey's on a post, so that means I got to go with John Moore on that one.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_04]: 755-1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, City Council meets tonight and they're going to pass a bunch of things ever.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_04]: It's antifedical to good government.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to pass a social media policy that this city manager is forcing off on them.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_04]: It's just nuts.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's or well-earned.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_04]: And then they're going to pass some kind of master plan.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_04]: Talk about master plans, council.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: You passed one in 2023 for Thompson Park.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_04]: And now you're going to vote tonight to contribute that to this, do what you want.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_04]: You know?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm telling you, it's true.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to vote on this, uh, well, they're going to vote to give the city manager negotiating authority on this golf course.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_04]: They will vote yes, five, nothing on that.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, councilman shown will say, well, couldn't we table it, and then it won't be table to help vote yes.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_04]: So, um, which is, you know, come on, come on, man, what have we got here?
- 12:22[SPEAKER_04]: So, we're going to go and look at this thing.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_04]: Master plan, yeah, now this is written and plan to speak, but it calls for the city to maintain the golf course and build connectivity with trails where the night towards winter use.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_04]: It also calls for an all-season lodge to promote year-round activities.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_04]: That's the city's goal.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: State of goal, you don't agree with it?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_04]: Fine.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_04]: You have a right to disagree with it.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_04]: But tonight they're gonna vote just be all right through that.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I can't get to the curb.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_05]: Now that's the right, there's nothing illegal.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_04]: But what did they pass this master plan in 2023 for?
- 13:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they spent thousands, thousands.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they say it was a grant, but it was some out of talent firm.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my God.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_04]: Thousands.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_04]: Now that I'm not going to follow the advice that they adopted.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_04]: Now I will grant you counsels change and you end up inheriting things that you don't agree with.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_04]: You may inherit staff members, you don't agree with, you may inherit issues, you don't agree with.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_04]: But interesting, it should read their own stated policy before going into vote tonight.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_04]: But they will vote in favor of all the resolutions, including the one on home rule legislation.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_04]: yeah it's just a lot of questions and i i don't say this because i'm against the people who in good conscience bid on this i think they're good competent people but has the council done a debriefing of mister uh... yeah god and i know they got well he's nice guy too of the guy ran the course this year
- 14:22[SPEAKER_04]: If they debrief them, and I'm tired of hearing them say we're waiting for the numbers.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_04]: Really?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_04]: The numbers should be at a finger tip.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_22]: Maybe one more bill will come in and November, so we gotta wait for it.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_04]: When they say I want to wait for the numbers, that is absolute.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_04]: I can't say it because I got kicked off the air here for saying it.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know here it's a, oh we gotta wait for the numbers, or even throw the numbers.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_04]: The numbers can be whatever you want them to be, Councilman.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, seven, five, five.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_04]: Mainly because, with anything,
- 15:13[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes you have years where there's extraordinary expenses beyond what anybody could anticipate, driving your bottom, you know, in the negative territory, or you could just, you know, not spend on any deferred, have all deferred maintenance and make it look good.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_04]: It's not all a time, yeah, but these people who say I got to wait for the numbers.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_04]: They got more blank than a Christmas goose, I'll tell you.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_04]: 75, 5, 12, 40 is the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the air today.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_04]: Let's get them going, let's get things going.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, boy.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_05]: Go ahead you're on the air.
- 15:54[UNKNOWN]: Hey, how's it going?
- 15:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, what's up?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_04]: We can't.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm calling about what you're talking about.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_03]: I've left in many places around the country.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_03]: And I can't believe the Apotheos exist up here.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_03]: And the fact that so much is ignored because people say, oh, well, crimes in New York City, this is in New York City.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: They're doing that in New York City.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to affect us, but in eventually, well, in eventually, we won't chuckle down into these communities.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_03]: This is how it started at many other countries.
- 16:30[UNKNOWN]: It started to the big city, and it
- 16:37[UNKNOWN]: Now let's kill peace.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_03]: They have no idea what the people want.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: They're basically doing the same thing as the Democrat party, and telling us what we want.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: And by listening to a guy like Blinkland, or nobody even knew, and I listened to him all night with a long time, and I had no idea if they have two words.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: I just think it's preaching to the choir, and nothing's changing.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_04]: And they need you.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_04]: I agree to an extent, I agree to an extent, but Kathy Hockel, who's smart enough to know better, she came from Buffalo, you know, I don't care if you're a builds fan or not that that doesn't impress me or you wear a build jersey all day, it doesn't impress me, but she should know better.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_04]: I can show her utility bills.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_04]: that my house, I pay 5% sales tax, 50 feet away at my business, I pay 11% explain it to me.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_04]: The Democrats will say, well, we're against the billionaires in the big corporations.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm neither.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_04]: She should understand that and she's doing nothing to address it.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know, she talks about Cornell and somebody got banged there at a party who cares.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_04]: That's a civil matter to be determined in the courts.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a, not a gubernatorial issue.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_04]: people now are you planning on voting of course as you know most people aren't I know most people in my community and the area of questions find a very late probably won't know they don't even know the local legends and a town hall meeting
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: 3 or 4 or 5 people the most the rest of the people always showed up when the town decided that they needed to clean their properties and get rid of their abandoned vehicles and also get rid of all the garbage other than that nobody showed up and if you tell people what an issue is other than the fact that gasoline that's all we know about gas.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_03]: nine inches point seven oh good for you good for you or glad to have it I like to say that because you know that was my idea and I you know I want I want validation yeah so anyway people need to move or they need to shut up stop whining after the luncheon and just get out there and vote it doesn't take that long I'm actually going to be working for the luncheon and whatever is called inspector and
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's sad to see that so many people say they're going to show up, they register the vote and then when you're going to talk to them, they're Republicans and they're saying, I don't know what to do, gasoline prices are actually, if you're thinking the math, gasoline prices are now cheaper now than they were in the six weeks.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm not worried about that, but I don't know.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_04]: Well, anyway, I got another call, but I appreciate you calling in from Clifton Fine.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you by now, but after dinner on the air.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_06]: We'll get after noon, Jeff.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_04]: Rush Finley another 92.7 listener from up north could hear from you.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_06]: Well, thanks for having me on.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_04]: So, what's new, the election is it, how's it going?
- 20:22[SPEAKER_06]: It's going real, real well.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_06]: The level of support that we're getting up here in St. Lawrence County and also in Lewis County
- 20:32[SPEAKER_04]: it's it's huge it's you're you're pressed with in all can i'm working with an all canter you're working for the empty constant you know campaign and they're they're they're their operatives are welcome to call as well um... i mean you say it's going well what about the governor's race is that changing or is that just static it's it's static it's i said it before i'll say it again
- 21:01[SPEAKER_06]: because he needs to figure out that the New York through way is not the Canadian border.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_06]: You know, northern New Yorkers cannot be taken advantage of the heat to get up here.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_06]: And where he's really screwing up is he's alienating conservative voters by hiding your pro-choice candidate.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_06]: Well, conservative voters don't want to hear that.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_06]: and gun owners don't want to hear that I support reasonable gun control that that might work in Queens it does not work in 55 counties north of westchester right so well so Kathy is going to win this is um comatorati have a chance for AG or not you know I don't know
- 21:56[SPEAKER_06]: uh... she's doing it pretty much a long her own she doesn't have a lot of staff or any staff she doesn't have a lot of money but she's working hard she definitely deserves it because you know uh... i knew that tish was filed but she's just a blithering idiot i mean watching her on that debate it i felt you know that debate to me was like every time i drive home after dark it's just deer in the headlights
- 22:24[SPEAKER_04]: But you know it doesn't matter because we
- 22:45[SPEAKER_04]: No, she doesn't care about this.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_04]: First of all, it was just a publicity thing to say, I'm for the women, I'm for the women, you know, I don't, I don't even know what happened in that case, but isn't one of it, uh, defendants in the civil suit didn't go back to the Middle East already?
- 23:02[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I really haven't been following it because I really don't care.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_06]: It's nothing that involves me.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_06]: It's, you know,
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: It's a local DA issue.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_04]: If they don't like what the DA did, that's it.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_04]: But he's probably a Democrat in that county, I assume.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_06]: Well, here's the way that I look at this case.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, if you what happened happened, is it bad?
- 23:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_06]: But where is the Democrat outcry for Joslin Nunger, who was like a 14-year-old girl that got gang raped and
- 23:42[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they don't care about her.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_06]: All the other women that have been raped and mutilated by illegals, that we can't talk about that.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_06]: We've got to talk about white privilege and men at an Ivy League school because the school has deep pockets and we can sue when the woman is the victim when it's the right class of man that supposedly victimized her.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_06]: to mail to pay a two-stale you know they talk about discrimination try being a white middle-class middle-age heterosexual mail in today's society everybody hates me just for getting up getting out of bed and going to work and driving there in a picture so what it have helped if I had told the division of human rights I'm gay and Democrat with that of help
- 24:40[SPEAKER_06]: You know, if you would have put on the wig and called yourself just when you would have, you know, yeah, they would have fallen all over you Exactly It's all about the class and let's face it.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_06]: We're just too male, too pale and too pale
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: there you go, but I look at people in these elections and I guess it goes on both sides, but you know, we have people listening to me listening to us right now they don't care about the candidate, the candidate could be Vlad the impeller but they want control of the Senate of the assembly of the Congress or whatever and so they'll vote for anybody like that guy in Michigan, they'll just vote for him and even though even though that guy hates Jews
- 25:35[SPEAKER_06]: because they're Democrats and that comes first same thing with the black population and it's right uh... uh... uh... a lot of its white guilt yeah it's white guilt yeah she's a she's a black walleye morbidly obese woman we've got a foe for her because she's got to be in front
- 26:00[SPEAKER_04]: exactly and then of course uh... seritha well she's like an indian or something right yes she's she's in do indian one of the cut they unlawing island they call them dot heads i am not going to go there i've heard the expression i i never used it but you know i used to know people on the island they would say that
- 26:26[SPEAKER_06]: Rita is a highly intelligent, highly qualified woman who only has one bad problem in that's the R in front of her name.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: No, I heard her talk.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_04]: I've watched all her little videos and things.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think she's great.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_04]: We have a picture of her over the bar.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_04]: We're opposed to urging people to vote for her.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm not against her in any way.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: But boy, the number of people who will just vote, you know, you know, like
- 26:56[SPEAKER_04]: We love Ron McGoogle, but Ron knows that Syritha is better qualified than Tish.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_04]: He knows that he's a smart man, but he has to vote for Tish because she's a demo grad, right?
- 27:10[SPEAKER_06]: Well, yeah.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Ron's loyal to the party and Democrats are loyal.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you know, Ron, Danny Francis, the list is long and distinguished of people that just...
- 27:25[SPEAKER_06]: can understand.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_06]: It's okay.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_06]: It's okay.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_06]: You can, you know, there's a lot of people that voted for Reagan and Trump that also, you know, voted for Clinton and Obama.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_06]: It's entirely okay to vote against your party when you're candid at sucks.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I can understand.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_04]: I can understand voting for Governor
- 27:55[SPEAKER_04]: But, Tish, I don't know, there's not even a warm side to her.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_04]: But the Republicans down here like her because she's, she contracted to have an office and they're building.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_06]: Then again, the moon does have a warm side in the cold side, so.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_03]: Now.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_06]: But, she's, she's, she's just horrible.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_06]: be an old den apoli.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, he's a Democrat.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_06]: He's everything that I should hate.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_06]: What does the guy do his job?
- 28:34[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_06]: Has he done a good job as a comptroller?
- 28:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_06]: Do I even know who the hell the comptroller can't have it on the Republican side is?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_06]: I vote for den apoli.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_06]: Probably not because I just can't bring myself to vote for anybody
- 28:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, but you know, it's about earning votes at this point and I'm tired of I want to vote for people not just vote against all the time.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_04]: Well, in New York, that's what you end up doing.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_04]: Unfortunately, what started out as a good opportunity in the group in the Tory all race ended up being a well, I got a vote for Blakeman just because it's not going to do any good.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_06]: Well, let's say, when is the Republican Party going to wake up and start saying, we keep running candidates from Long Island, we keep losing?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe we ought to try somebody from upstate.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_06]: And they should have had the brains to win Blake when started talking.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_06]: They should have said, you're going to make a great Lieutenant Governor candidate.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_06]: she has the capability to raise money, she's strong, articulate, it's a woman going up against a woman, at least we'll handle upstate, you take on long island in New York City, and we can win us.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_06]: But instead they just sat there and went, oh gee, Bruce, well, yeah, but no, no, it's he's the type of candidate that upstate New Yorkers just are sick of.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_06]: same campaign that Molinaro asked to Reno.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, seldom did better because he was a good candidate and he did come up north.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_06]: But, you know, given our track record with, with asked to Reno and Molinaro, and then he turns around and tires the same people who've never won a race to run his race.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_06]: On the same type race.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's that's the clinical definition of it.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_04]: Well, who is the who's the party chair of the Nixon son-in-law that era?
- 31:00[SPEAKER_06]: Ed Cox.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I remember when he called upstate people apple knockers.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know if you remember.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even know what that means.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_04]: But that's kind of, I'm not saying it's an insulting term, but it's kind of like snide and demeaning.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_04]: Like we're not very sophisticated.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_04]: We couldn't they're saying that we couldn't go to the Matt Gala.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: and probably we could accept for carriers he could go but other than that nobody could go with this station and what are how much money you have no now i i i i i just don't have the body to wear a the rich grass yeah so uh... what about uh... else i eat their uh... he's getting a little testy when you ask about the muslim brotherhood but
- 31:49[SPEAKER_04]: On the other hand, the media seems to be defending, I'm saying, well, this racist, and I'll know it, isn't it?
- 31:55[SPEAKER_04]: You're a terrorist.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_06]: I occasionally watch clips of the five, and you've got people like Harold for going, oh, he's evolving, he's evolving from what?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_06]: From what?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody who openly admitted his feelings that he hates Christians, hates America, loves socialism, communism, and then, uh,
- 32:18[SPEAKER_06]: you know paid hate capitalism now he's evolving to what a wire well he's gonna like he could not go into admit that you know everything that he stands for he doesn't really stand for well it looks like he's gonna win that Senate race doesn't it no I don't think so there's I mean you can't go out there say
- 32:47[SPEAKER_06]: you want to take all the people that work in Detroit, you're going to take their health insurance away and put them on Medicare, and then come out and say, I hate football and Michigan football, sucks.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, are you just, are you just, well, they use that.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_04]: And the other day when the vice president called him a weasel he came out and used a I can't say word uh... blanking uh... will read on this i don't like it when you know i i don't like it when that jerk up in uh... main and what you think of me senator Collins when he told her to shut up the other day i didn't like that that's not how i was brought up
- 33:34[SPEAKER_06]: We've lost all the decorum and civil discourse and it makes it ever, ever, ever, ever.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_06]: But Democrats think that they're cool because they drop F bombs.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that doesn't make you cool.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_06]: It just makes you, you know, empty, shallow, non-articulate.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_06]: The Democrat party is going down a deep place.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_06]: And look at the race up here in New York, 21, we're seeing his gen to be in can't figure out who he is.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_06]: He's got people running his campaign that are from New York City saying this is New York and you've got to run a New York campaign when north of the throughways more like Iowa than it is New York City.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, one minute, one minute he goes right, I support fracking for natural gas.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, now we got to go to green energy.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_06]: We need gun control.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a good, I'm a second amendment advocate.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_06]: He's so all over the place in mixed messaging that he can't figure out where to land.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_06]: One minute, he's a Republican, one minute, he's a Democrat, and he's helping us put Republicans into the booth, and then there's a lot of people that are like,
- 34:55[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know who this guy is and what he stands for, and I was thinking about both things, voting for him, but I'm either going to leave the line blank, or I'm going to vote for Anthony.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_04]: We'll find out there pretty soon, and this weekend, up in Wattington, there's a rally with Mr. Constantino, and I want to put it out there, Sunday, the 25th at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_06]: We're having a big event at G.C.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_06]: in Wattington, come one, come all, it's free food, free pink, women for constant, you know, shirts for the ladies, and we just want to get out the vote and introduce you know the county candidates and Anthony to everybody, and you want to come up here and thank everybody for their support and their help, but it's not a politician's only event,
- 35:52[SPEAKER_06]: A we want the public to come out and Okay, I want to thank the public for their support.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_04]: All right, when's the at three or suits me Sunday at three?
- 36:01[SPEAKER_06]: Sunday from three to six at G.C.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_06]: and Wattie.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_04]: Wattie on Route 37.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, thank you Ross.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_06]: Take care, Jeff.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_04]: By now.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_04]: All right, we got to do a break here.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_04]: I absolutely have to.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_04]: I know there's somebody waiting.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_04]: Well, see who it is.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_04]: But after dinner on the air.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_05]: We're just folding to a dinerie here in a wonderful water town city.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_05]: I wanted to get in and say, the ad that got my attention was the Blake Gendabene ad that says that he's a conservative Democrat.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_05]: Is that not an oxymoron that you ever heard one?
- 36:37[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it could very well be.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_05]: is the, I have not seen anything that the Democrats are doing these days that you would even categorize as moderate hit scenes, but he might be a moderate Democrat, but he's in the way it conserved as Democrat, or he'd vote for conservative things, and we're joined the conservative party.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_04]: Right, I gotcha.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the days of scoop jacks and a no-step of Democrats are gone.
- 37:07[UNKNOWN]: That's right.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_04]: Even the liberal Democrats, I humored Humphrey.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, that kind of guy is going to, so, um, it's all a bunch of nuts.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_04]: All right, well I gotta go because I gotta do a break.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_04]: Fine, I'll go.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_04]: Good morning, moment.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Cassie Robbins for us.

- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not running to be a career politician.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm running to listen because North Country families deserve a voice that listens.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: One that carries our rural community's voices to Albany.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'll work for better health care, stronger EMS, reliable broadband, and opportunities for our families and every community to thrive.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because I believe in the people who call the North Country home,
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: Our future belongs to all of us, and it should be built by all of us, not just a few.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: All of us together.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Cassie Robbins Forbidden, and I'm asking for your vote.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be honored to have it.

- 39:49[SPEAKER_22]: For 16 years, it's been my honor to represent the people of the 117th Assembly District.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_22]: I know what this job takes, and I know Tammy Neville Wannick is ready for years.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_22]: Tammy has worked beside me, working on legislation and helping constituents navigate state government.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: Ken, I'm proud to have your endorsement, and even prouder of the trust you placed in me.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: The North Country is my home.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: I've raised my family here, and I'm invested in our future.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_00]: I know the district, I know the job, and I'm ready on day one.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Tammy Navarwanik, and I approve this message.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_17]: We just don't say it often enough.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_17]: The news in talk authority.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_17]: WATN, AM-1240.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_04]: But after you're doing hey we're joined by Jeff Kirkby here from Kenny drugs many of you know from the coffee in street store.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_04]: Nice guy and we've come to talk about vaccinations right?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_23]: Yes we have man.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, flu shots everybody got him for years and they got all these other shots.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_04]: But the flu shots are basic isn't for pretty much especially for adults above a certain age.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we're both above that.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_23]: We certainly are.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_04]: What about all the other shots?
- 41:01[SPEAKER_04]: Well, pneumonia shots, shingles.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_04]: There's so many of them.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_23]: There are, in plus, I mean, direct consumer advertising makes us far more aware than we once were.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_23]: You know, the standard, the tetanus shot, that's one that's in every ten years.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_04]: You have to step on a nail to get that.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_23]: Well, you know that, or as some folks will tell you, when you're a new grandparent, too, because the pretussis component, it's T-Dat, the PS pretussis, or a whipping cup, which you may recall, I got some play in our local Lewis County area a few years ago.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_23]: So that's a bigger one than you may realize.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so you got all this stuff going on and you're getting a lot of now people can just go into the drugstore and get a flu shot Yeah, it's walking bases absolutely and that's all paid for by somebody Virtually everyone.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_23]: I've seen one cash prescription for a flu shot this year.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_23]: I'm much more to be I believe that one was 45 dollars, but please don't.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's not bad.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_04]: Well, how effective is it though?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_23]: Well, it depends.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_23]: I mean, they make their best Guest event.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_23]: They look at the the flu patterns of the previous season the southern hemisphere because the winters and some And they based the mix off that so some years.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_23]: It's very good in some years.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_23]: We miss a little But at the end of the day, if we can't prevent you from getting the flu Maybe we can keep you out of the hospital even if you're you know down and out for a couple days at home There's the flu is generally you feel like crap for a couple days in your bed the high fever in the dry caught Yeah, I mean, it's it's a nuisance, but it's manageable
- 42:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the welder just got over that couple weeks ago and so he sure they got a shot probably perhaps he did.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_23]: I don't know.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_23]: I haven't seen him in my store, but perhaps he did.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, okay.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, well, what's that involved here?
- 42:36[SPEAKER_04]: You got to fill out a form, right?
- 42:38[SPEAKER_23]: Well, you already did that, fortunately, for me.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_23]: I appreciate you helping that.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_23]: Just nine questions, your name and date of birth, and you sign it.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_23]: That's it.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, and then are there any
- 42:48[SPEAKER_23]: affects from this or can there be well of course you can be I mean it's a localize injection so you get some localized tenderness and warmth and whatnot but you cannot get the flu from the flu shot it's an inactive virus okay now you may have been exposed to the flu three days ago you may be symptomatic may give you the shot tomorrow you may feel like crap but it's not due to the shot so I take a lot of pills but not what I'm doing a good flu from memory though my computer
- 43:17[SPEAKER_23]: antibiotics are for bacteria flew as a virus okay we do have treatments for the fluid help minimize it but you got to get them on board within 48 hours and some time what's the name of that flu there's that one there it has a cousin as a flu's a so
- 43:34[SPEAKER_23]: uh... they're available but you got a recognized up front get the task it prescription so it's it's time time uh... now it's just gonna hurt not if you sit still i don't get the ballers like the phone lines up i'd see if i got a rusty needle if you don't know but you have a you brought something where the idea to bring the epi pen just in case you know you kill over i may want to know what is what would that be but that's up and that from for people up
- 43:57[SPEAKER_23]: like a beast that you learn you create you have a tremendous allergic you're not going to have a problem I think we've done this in the past and many times yeah I think we have so I'm not I'm not too worried about you sometimes it's a more fetching well sorry you're right I could have altered the schedule perhaps if I thought quicker enough I apologize maybe next year yeah okay well here go ahead if I are up take my arm oh my god and we're doing this live on the radio here so uh there's everybody get this kind of service like well I will tell you there's one of your co-farts
- 44:27[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_23]: Mr. Waltz, I helped him out and we did a little detail, but, uh, well, so it's all over now.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_23]: You're still upright, right?
- 44:35[SPEAKER_23]: So that's a good sign.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_04]: How long does it take for the, uh, if you did at a problem?
- 44:39[SPEAKER_23]: It's hard to guide, there's such a thing as a delayed reaction.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_23]: I mean, so it's, it's not likely to be immediate.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, anything else?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I wanted to ask you.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_23]: Sure.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_04]: About, do you get a lot of questions?
- 44:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's constant on TV when Charles Barkley's on there.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_23]: We do, we get quite a fair number of questions.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_04]: And then, doctors tell, well, you can't have that because you don't have diabetes.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't want diabetes.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_23]: No, absolutely.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_23]: The drugs we're using were most of them originally brought out four diabetes, a couple of exceptions, but so I mean, that's kind of a you and your doctor conversation by assure you we have people who are not diabetic using, I believe you're talking about the GLP one drugs.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_23]: I assure you we have many that are using it.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_23]: Well, I haven't heard that one yet, but I haven't, uh, you know, I mean, I know, but they're expensive.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_23]: They can be, yeah.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_23]: I mean, there is a program now through.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: So if you don't have a program, but if you don't have diabetes, they're expensive.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: Is that the deal?
- 45:41[SPEAKER_23]: Yes, but like I said with the Medicare just came out with a bridge program to help offset that and I can it's pretty dry for the purposes of a talk show But I can tell you more and then if you want I can come back some other time and you know, there's there's some help Fourth comes you can't just go to the pharmacy and get that no credit or prescription I'm correct
- 45:59[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, all right.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_04]: But you can shop for different doctors.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_23]: Well, there are people.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_23]: There's a lot of What about the on-law there?
- 46:07[SPEAKER_04]: You can buy it online, right?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_23]: Well, there's two ways you can buy it online or you can have an online prescriber Of two separate things, but the Lily company has a direct program for their products.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_23]: Is that mountain?
- 46:19[SPEAKER_23]: Really direct and not to plug them, but I mean people have the internet so they can look that up They're they're price points 250 in month and then it goes up by strength to 50 for lower strength I think it maxes out at 400 among these but from from memory.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_04]: I don't quote me Wow, it's a lot.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_23]: It is, but you know for people who have been overweight for a long time It's a glimmer of hope, and you know at what price you have a lot thinner customers now or not
- 46:45[SPEAKER_04]: uh... we have some people have remarkable results and we've we've we've we've you and it's you know takes dedication and some cases to your point takes the money but yet we have had some remarkable results but i saw seems like i saw the president go on and see uh... drug prices are coming down and we've got all of this these programs for this and you can get the jlp that's not true well
- 47:10[SPEAKER_23]: The bridge program I mentioned for the weight loss program, yes, and then the other discount program was very, very similar to a good RX program rebranded very similar, so I don't know that it was doing their shaking, but it helps some people, so we want to help people, that's what we're there for.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_04]: But as far as like, you know, getting the prescription online from somebody, not your normal doctor, that's okay.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_23]: Yes, we have seen that on a catered some people and you have to worry about side effects Well, the drug is the same.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah, and we're still checking against your same profile It's just coming from a different source.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_04]: So it's not my favorite idea, but it happens So where do you go online for that bridge program?
- 47:55[SPEAKER_23]: No, I honestly don't know as far as the sources I would take a little reason but it they existed of I think a rudimentary five-minute search on a computer And you can get some pretty good details
- 48:05[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, all right, like Academy people are well, I'd have that look Academy personalized.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_23]: I see the movies and MTV, but I personally know it's snorted off people now down the Cornell Yeah, the the veterinary world is in let's face it Cornell's a veterinary school So maybe there's acts.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_23]: I don't know I make sure one there though.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_23]: It does make you want to one thing before I go measles
- 48:27[SPEAKER_23]: There's been outbreaks of that recently.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_23]: New York State has reduced the age, allowing us in the pharmacy now to vaccinate people above the age of two.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_23]: Doesn't apply to a ton of people.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_23]: We've been able to do it for some time above the age of 18.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_23]: It's just an option.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_23]: Folks, born prior to 1957, are prior considered to be immune, but for those people in the middle.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_23]: You know, we've got a database.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_23]: We can look at and we get some of the younger folks.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_23]: We don't have all the older folks So the option exists and we can help some people.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_23]: I actually help the guy this weekend at the very same before that date No comment All right.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that sounds good.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, thank you so much for coming in and the pleasure glad to hear the most helpful farm assistant town Not the most fetching, but I'll try to be the most helpful now.

- 49:16[SPEAKER_23]: I

- 50:07[SPEAKER_20]: Our state government has lost its way and New York has been a leader in what not to do.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_20]: One party rule has created a severe imbalance of power.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_20]: Nobody elected me to manage the decline of our great state and I'm fighting every single day to bring balance back to state government.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_20]: Please know that when you vote to send me back to Albany, you're hiring a Patriot who's not afraid to speak up for you and stand up against policies that make it harder for you to earn a living.

- 53:35[SPEAKER_04]: I know the controversies surrounding it, but whatever I've had those for years and they didn't seem to bother me, there are some of the other ones I'm a little...
- 53:43[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the Fauci shots, I'm not a fan of, but just a basic flu shot, but does no, well, it helps.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to end up like the welder was a couple weeks ago.
