Episode 135: Mike Freeman - Vintage Alaska Highway and Beyond - Falling Upstairs in the Far North
This is referred to as a corner piece of the puzzle. We talk with Mike Freeman. He drove a ‘41 Ford up the Al-Can in 1961. Mike sold computers for IBM, helped grow an auto parts chain in far flung locations of Alaska and encouraged his son to try new things. By now you know his son, Phil, pretty well. After listening to Mike, you’ll understand him better.
In this episode, Mike talks of an unconventional father, a wide open start in Alaska and a memorable horse rental.
