- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, it wa it felt so long, but it's not over.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: It's not over.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Oh god, no.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Tomorrow's our big day.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Tomorrow's our big trunk or treat in the morning.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: And then, well, 11 to 1.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: And then we have our big listener appreciation party tomorrow evening.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a good day tomorrow.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: All right, the weather's gonna suck at least early on.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: I'm kind of glad we're not starting Trunk Retreat till 11 because they're talking about the morning part, real early, you know, like as you know, people kind of decide am I alive today?
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be the part where you might see a flurry, you might see a shower.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I think by 11, we might be in a better place.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: However, not warm.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Again, I remind people you're bringing your kids out, okay?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: You gotta think about this.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Please stop and think for a minute.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: I know they want to show off their costume.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: I know they want to, you know, experience this.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: They want to get candy.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: You don't need to be in line at nine in the morning.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: We'll we we open it up at 11.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Come on through.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: And for the love of God, we'll be there for two hours.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Dress them for 45 degree weather.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: This is the first time.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And it's gonna be cold tonight overnight, like 34.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, I guess I am gonna have to bring in the rest of my plants then.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think you might have to.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: This is it.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: This is it.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: This is a bold day for me.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Uh I uh you just saw me I took my antibiotic.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I have not had one ibuprofen or acetaminophen yet today.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Nothing for the pain.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Which is weird.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: It's been days.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Why make the risk?
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: Why take the risk?
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Well, because like right now it's just the very, very, very slightest throb.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Kind of like a Saturday night.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Uh but so it's uh it's still so it's not even a dull pain.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: It's just sort of like, oh, okay, that you're not fli it's not flaring.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: I think I would take which is the one that helps with the inflammation.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: That's the one.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Well, that's the ibuprofen.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: That's the 800 milligrams.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: That's the one I would take.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you know, I'm pumping my I've pumped my system so full of this stuff since like Tuesday when it was the worst.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Mind you guys, I'm updating you on Friday that that it's still uh it has that light sensitive feel to it.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: This has been going on since last Saturday as it was rolling in.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And uh I I just have put so much into my system that I'm like, maybe I should take a few hours without something in there, you know.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I see, and I would have won, I would want to make sure that it doesn't rear its ugly head.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: So I would be like, Yep, put another pill in me.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: And and I'm not a and I'm not a big pill person either.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: There they are.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: But I for me, when I have had any major surgeries, which has been a couple times, then I'm always very like, okay, four hours, take the pill.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Take the pill.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, and it's funny how you start to, you know how like things are prescribed every six hours.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Take this.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I can tell you at five hours and ten minutes, it's coming, it's wearing way off.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: It's like we're we're cutting that timeline down.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: I can't believe you're willing to take that risk.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Well, it's like people that go on oxy.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: At some point, if you're prescribed it after surgery, you gotta stop or you got a problem.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: You know what I thought you were gonna say?
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Here I am comparing it to ibuprofen.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: I thought you were gonna say it's messing with your stomach because sometimes, sometimes pills mess with my stomach.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, I took a whopper of a deuce before the shower today, but that's you know, if you really want to know.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: That's not necessary.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: I have an update for you on our cat.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: The neighborhood cat.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: So it's back, and I'm actually really glad about it.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Zach's very surprised by this because he's like, you don't even really like cats.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I know, but the stupid thing is so cute.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: And you got nervous yesterday because it disappeared for a day.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: If you guys didn't know, I've had this cat that's been hanging out I think it's been like two weeks or something, been hanging out specifically at our house.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: And it's gotten to the point where I'm like, okay, this cat seems a little lethargic.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: I gotta feed it something.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Because it hides, I have um, it looks like a coffin in the front yard, and it'll hide underneath the coffin, and then it hides in these one bushes, and I just, I just feel bad for it.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Now everyone keeps saying, well, once you feed it, the others will come.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: That's what I was I thought the same.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: I'm very afraid of this.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: So then I talk about it for the first time three days ago, yeah, and then no cat.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden is missing.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you gotta be freaking kidding me.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Well, Zach's co-worker gave him a ton of food.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: So for all the other cats that come by now.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Well, and his so he works in uh he works in manufacturing, and a lot of the guys were like, Don't feed it, don't feed the cat, don't do it.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: But then you get her, she's like the cat lady.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: She's like, just feed the cat in the case.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Here's eight bags.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: So the cat came back.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: I was like, Do you listen to our show?
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: Are you listening to WCAT?
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: WCAT.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: And and then we put the food out.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: I tried to get it to come to my hand, and I didn't I wasn't sure if I wanted to touch it because like fleas or whatever.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: But I'm like, let me just see if it'll come to my hand.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: It wouldn't whatsoever.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: But I put the food out, we walked away, we like hung out on the porch for a while, and all of a sudden it was gone.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: So it ate the food, didn't see any other cats, thank God.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: But I think we're gonna have a cat now.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Well, I I'm I'm looking forward to not having to hear about a mouse back in the house.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: But Zach did say one thing.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: He said, This cat is not coming in this house.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: He right he goes, I don't care if it's snowing outside, which is gonna be on Sunday or Saturday.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: I don't care if it's snowing outside, I do not like cats in the house.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I'm with you.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Although, you know, here's me, here's my bleeding heart.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: When it's like three degrees, I'll be like, Can we?
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, we named it already too.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Oh god, you're screwed.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Uh I did didn't.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: Don't you want to know the name?
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Louie.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's kind of perfect.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: If it's a guy or a girl.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: You're lucky it'll be a girl and already pregnant.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Um who texted yesterday that said or was or a couple days ago you can build some cat shelter.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Cat chatty?
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Cat chatty.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Um it was.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: I know who it is.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't remember her numbers, but I know her name.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: So are you gonna do that if you're not letting the cat in so that when it hits five degrees, you know, the cat's not sitting out there going, my God, it's cold.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: I guess.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: I'm such a I'm such a bleeding heart.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: I swear to God.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, it keeps coming back.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: So sucker.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Just call me a sucker.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: It picked And this is the thing that everyone keeps saying it picked you guys.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, thanks for the help on that one.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: It picked you.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a great way to yeah, thank you.
