- 3:50Speaker 5: I am so excited that you have joined me for
- 3:54Speaker 5: another powerful, purpose-driven conversation. Today we are talking about something
- 4:03Speaker 5: that many people experience, but few people understand. Amen. And
- 4:11Speaker 5: we're going to start like we always do, giving thanks
- 4:17Speaker 5: to the Almighty. In his word, it says, in everything
- 4:21Speaker 5: that you do, give God thanks. Dear Heavenly Father, in
- 4:27Speaker 5: the precious name of your son Jesus, we thank you
- 4:31Speaker 5: for this platform. We thank you for the visionary Queen Angela. God,
- 4:36Speaker 5: continue to bless her, God. Continue. to give her the
- 4:41Speaker 5: desires of her heart. Remember every member of the crew podcast, God.
- 4:48Speaker 5: You know the things that they have need of. Grant
- 4:51Speaker 5: it to them in Jesus' name. And now, God, we
- 4:55Speaker 5: dedicate this service to you. Have your way in the
- 5:00Speaker 5: name of Jesus. Anything that might come to hinder this episode, God,
- 5:06Speaker 5: We ask that you bind it up and send it
- 5:08Speaker 5: back to the pits of hell from whence it came.
- 5:12Speaker 5: In Jesus' name, we do pray. Our quote of the
- 5:17Speaker 5: week is, God will sometimes allow your life to be shaken,
- 5:26Speaker 5: not to destroy who you are, but to remove everything
- 5:32Speaker 5: that is preventing you from becoming God. who he created
- 5:37Speaker 5: you to be. This purge might be painful, but the
- 5:42Speaker 5: power that will follow will reveal why the process was necessary.
- 5:53Speaker 5: So once again, welcome, welcome, welcome. Tonight we are talking
- 6:00Speaker 5: about Purge to Power. Somebody listening right now needs to
- 6:08Speaker 5: hear these words. You are not being destroyed. You are
- 6:13Speaker 5: being developed. You are not being forgotten. You are being prepared.
- 6:21Speaker 5: You are not necessarily losing everything. You may be making
- 6:27Speaker 5: room for something greater. And sometimes, before God can take
- 6:34Speaker 5: you into your next season, there are things he must
- 6:39Speaker 5: remove from your life. Sometimes it's a relationship. Sometimes it's
- 6:46Speaker 5: a mindset. Sometimes it's an attitude. Sometimes it's unforgiveness. Sometimes
- 6:55Speaker 5: it is plain fear. And sometimes it is diverging yourself
- 7:03Speaker 5: that you learned how to survive, but that have not
- 7:07Speaker 5: yet learned how to live. Let me say that once
- 7:13Speaker 5: again a little louder for the ones in the back.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Sometimes the greatest thing God must purge from your life
- 7:25Speaker 5: is the version of you that has become so comfortable
- 7:31Speaker 5: living beneath your purpose. My God, my God, my God.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Have you ever experienced a season where everything around you
- 7:43Speaker 5: seems to be changing? People you thought would always be
- 7:50Speaker 5: there suddenly disappeared.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Amen.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Have a serious illness and see how many people stay around.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Doors you expected to open remain closed. Things you worked
- 8:09Speaker 5: so hard to build begin falling apart. And you found
- 8:15Speaker 5: yourself asking, God, why is this happening to my life?
- 8:21Speaker 5: Why am I losing so much? Why am I experiencing
- 8:27Speaker 5: so much pain? Like the songwriter says, and I won't complain,
- 8:36Speaker 5: why so much pain? But then it goes on to say,
- 8:42Speaker 5: God knows what's good for us. He knows what's best
- 8:49Speaker 5: for us. Why does it still seem as though everything
- 8:54Speaker 5: is being taken away? But what if I told you
- 8:59Speaker 5: on tonight, that not every loss means defeat. What if
- 9:05Speaker 5: some of the things you are grieving were never meant
- 9:09Speaker 5: to accomplish you into your next season? Everybody can't go
- 9:16Speaker 5: where God is bringing you. What if the discomfort you
- 9:20Speaker 5: are experiencing is an invitation to transformation? Now I want
- 9:28Speaker 5: to make something very clear on tonight. Not every painful
- 9:33Speaker 5: experience is something God deliberately caused. We live in a
- 9:38Speaker 5: world where tragedy, injustice, illness, and loss are real. But
- 9:47Speaker 5: even when God did not cause the pain, He can
- 9:51Speaker 5: meet us in it. He can strengthen us through it.
- 9:56Speaker 5: He can bring purpose out of circumstances. we never would
- 10:02Speaker 5: have chosen. Jesus said in John 15 and 2, Every
- 10:11Speaker 5: branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away.
- 10:17Speaker 5: And every branch That bearing fruit, he purges it, that
- 10:22Speaker 5: it may bring forth more fruit. Notice something powerful. Jesus
- 10:29Speaker 5: did not say that only unfruitful branches receive attention. He
- 10:36Speaker 5: said that even fruitful branches are purged so they can
- 10:41Speaker 5: produce more fruit. That means you can be productive and
- 10:47Speaker 5: still need pruning. You can be gifted and still need growth.
- 10:54Speaker 5: You can be anointed and still need alignment. You can
- 11:00Speaker 5: love God and still have things in your life that
- 11:05Speaker 5: need to change. And here is the revelation. The pruning
- 11:11Speaker 5: is not proof that God has rejected you. It could
- 11:16Speaker 5: be evidence that he is preparing you for greater fruitfulness. Tonight,
- 11:23Speaker 5: I want to walk you through the journey from purging
- 11:27Speaker 5: to power. Because I believe somebody listening is standing between
- 11:34Speaker 5: what was and what is next. And you need to
- 11:38Speaker 5: understand that your story is not over. Your purpose has
- 11:45Speaker 5: not been canceled. Your future is not You are still becoming.
- 11:56Speaker 5: What does it mean to be purged? Let's begin with
- 12:02Speaker 5: a question. What does it really mean to be purged?
- 12:08Speaker 5: To purge means to remove, to cleanse, to eliminate, or
- 12:16Speaker 5: clear away something unwanted, or harmful. Spiritually speaking, purge can
- 12:24Speaker 5: describe the process of allowing God to cleanse our hearts,
- 12:31Speaker 5: renew our minds, correct our priorities, and remove patterns that
- 12:37Speaker 5: interfere with spiritual growth. But here is what we must understand.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Purging is is not always about removing something obviously bad.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Sometimes it involves surrendering something that was good for a
- 13:00Speaker 5: previous season but is no longer healthy or appropriate for
- 13:06Speaker 5: the season ahead. There are some people in your life
- 13:11Speaker 5: that have been placed in your life for a season
- 13:14Speaker 5: and a reason, and when that season is over, when
- 13:18Speaker 5: that reason has been accomplished, amen, they can't go with
- 13:22Speaker 5: you to the next level. Let's consider a tree. A
- 13:28Speaker 5: gardener prunes branches to improve the tree's health and encourage
- 13:34Speaker 5: fruitful growth. The gardener does not prune the tree because
- 13:41Speaker 5: the tree is worthless. The gardener prunes the tree because
- 13:47Speaker 5: the tree has potential. And that is what I want
- 13:51Speaker 5: you to understand on tonight. Your potential is worth the process.
- 13:59Speaker 5: Some of us want the promise without the preparation. We
- 14:04Speaker 5: want the platform without the process. We want the promotion
- 14:11Speaker 5: without the pruning. We want the power without the surrender.
- 14:17Speaker 5: But spiritual maturity requires us to allow God to deal
- 14:22Speaker 5: with what is happening inside of us. David understood this.
- 14:29Speaker 5: In Psalms 51 and 10, he prayed, Amen. So he
- 14:42Speaker 5: understood the power of transformation. Allowing God to transform you.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Allowing God to prune you. And those things that you
- 14:56Speaker 5: don't need for the next level, allow him, amen, to
- 15:03Speaker 5: destroy those things. Notice that David did not begin By
- 15:11Speaker 5: asking God to change everybody around him. He asked God
- 15:17Speaker 5: to change him. And that is where transformation begins. Sometimes
- 15:24Speaker 5: we spend so much time asking God to remove difficult
- 15:30Speaker 5: people from our lives. Amen. We don't want to go
- 15:39Speaker 5: through anything. We want God to deliver us before the fire,
- 15:45Speaker 5: before the lion's den. Amen? Sometimes we spend so much
- 15:53Speaker 5: time asking God to remove difficult people that we fail
- 15:58Speaker 5: to ask him to address our own destructive patterns. We
- 16:03Speaker 5: want God to change our circumstances, but we resist when
- 16:09Speaker 5: he begins changing our character. We ask for peace while
- 16:15Speaker 5: still holding on to bitterness. We ask for healthy relationships
- 16:21Speaker 5: while refusing to establish boundaries. We ask for new opportunities
- 16:28Speaker 5: while allowing fear to make every decision. We ask for
- 16:34Speaker 5: spiritual power while neglecting spiritual discipline. but the journey from
- 16:41Speaker 5: purge to power begins with honesty. We must be willing
- 16:46Speaker 5: to say, Lord, search my heart. Show me where I
- 16:52Speaker 5: need to grow. Reveal the habits that are hurting me.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Help me release what is no longer healthy. Teach me
- 17:03Speaker 5: how to walk in freedom. Three areas that God may
- 17:09Speaker 5: be calling you to surrender. One, toxic thinking. Some people
- 17:15Speaker 5: are not being held back by their circumstances as much
- 17:19Speaker 5: as they are being held back by what they believe
- 17:23Speaker 5: about themselves. They constantly say, I am not good enough.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I am too old. I have made too many mistakes.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Nobody will support me. Is it too late for me?
- 17:40Speaker 5: But those thoughts do not have to determine your future.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Romans 12 and 2 teaches us about being transformed through
- 17:50Speaker 5: the renewing of our mind. You cannot consensually walk in
- 17:56Speaker 5: a new direction while allowing yesterday's limited beliefs to control
- 18:02Speaker 5: today's decisions. Two, unhealthy attachments. Sometimes we hold on to people, positions,
- 18:12Speaker 5: or situations because we are afraid of what life would
- 18:17Speaker 5: look like without them. We confuse familiarity with security. We
- 18:27Speaker 5: confuse history with destiny. We confuse being needed with being
- 18:34Speaker 5: valued But not everything familiar is healthy, and not every
- 18:41Speaker 5: connection is meant to last forever. Letting go does not
- 18:47Speaker 5: always mean someone is a bad person. Sometimes it simply
- 18:52Speaker 5: means that a relationship or a situation must change. 3.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Unhealed Emotional Wounds Some of us have learned how to
- 19:06Speaker 5: function while carrying pain we never fully address. We smile
- 19:13Speaker 5: publicly while suffering privately. We encourage everybody else while neglecting ourselves.
- 19:23Speaker 5: We appear strong because we are afraid of what would
- 19:26Speaker 5: happen if we admit that we are hurting. But healing
- 19:32Speaker 5: requires honesty. you cannot heal what you do not address.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Declare on tonight, I will no longer allow fear to
- 19:52Speaker 5: make decisions that belong to faith, wisdom, and purpose. Purge
- 20:00Speaker 5: the bitterness that poisons your peace. Bitterness can grow when
- 20:06Speaker 5: pain remains unresolved. Someone betrayed you. Someone disappointed you. Someone
- 20:15Speaker 5: abandoned you. Someone failed to recognize your value. And now
- 20:21Speaker 5: you find yourself replaying the offense. You revisit conversations. You
- 20:28Speaker 5: imagine what you should have said. You carry anger into
- 20:33Speaker 5: a relationship with people who never caused the original wound.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Hebrews 12 and 15 warns about a root of bitterness
- 20:45Speaker 5: springing up and causing trouble. Bitterness can interfere with peace, relationships,
- 20:53Speaker 5: and emotional well-being, but forgiveness is not the same as
- 20:59Speaker 5: pretending that the offense never happened. Forgiveness does not require
- 21:06Speaker 5: you to return to an abusive relationship or unsafe relationship.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Forgiveness does not eliminate accountability. And forgiveness is often a
- 21:21Speaker 5: process rather than a single emotional decision. Sometimes releasing bitterness
- 21:30Speaker 5: begins with refusing to let the person who hurt you
- 21:35Speaker 5: control the direction of your future. You may need boundaries.
- 21:42Speaker 5: You may need distance. You may need counseling. You may
- 21:46Speaker 5: need time. But you deserve the opportunity to heal. Forgiveness
- 21:56Speaker 5: does not rewrite what happened yesterday, but it can help
- 22:01Speaker 5: release tomorrow from the grip of yesterday's pains. Comparison is
- 22:11Speaker 5: one of the greatest distractions from purpose. You look at
- 22:16Speaker 5: someone else's ministry, someone else's business, someone else's marriage, somebody
- 22:22Speaker 5: else's success, somebody else's platform, and suddenly what God has
- 22:29Speaker 5: placed in your hands no longer seems valuable. You begin
- 22:35Speaker 5: measuring your beginning against somebody else's Years of preparation. You
- 22:42Speaker 5: begin questioning your gifts because someone else's gifts look different.
- 22:50Speaker 5: But hear me on tonight, beloved. You were not created
- 22:54Speaker 5: to be a duplicate of somebody else's assignment. Your journey
- 23:00Speaker 5: is different. Your preparation is different. Your gifts are different.
- 23:06Speaker 5: Your experiences are different. And your calling deserves your attention.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Galatians 6 and 4 encourages believers to examine their own work.
- 23:20Speaker 5: Instead of asking why someone else is ahead of you, ask,
- 23:24Speaker 5: am I growing? Am I being faithful? Am I using
- 23:29Speaker 5: what God has given me? Am I making progress? Am
- 23:34Speaker 5: I becoming more Christ-like? Stop allowing someone else's accomplishments to
- 23:40Speaker 5: make you despise your own journey. Celebrate others without abandoning yourself.
- 23:50Speaker 5: Declare on tonight, I will not compare my assignment to
- 23:56Speaker 5: someone else's journey. I will develop what God has placed
- 24:01Speaker 5: inside of me. Purge the guilt. that keeps you trapped
- 24:06Speaker 5: in the past. Some people are not living in the
- 24:10Speaker 5: present because they have still punished themselves for the past.
- 24:15Speaker 5: You remember the wrong decision, the missed opportunity, the relationships
- 24:22Speaker 5: that failed, all the mistakes you made. And every time
- 24:28Speaker 5: you attempt to move forward, guilt whispers, you do not
- 24:33Speaker 5: deserve another chance. But Romans 8 and 1 declares there
- 24:41Speaker 5: is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
- 24:48Speaker 5: Christ Jesus. God's grace does not mean our choices have
- 24:53Speaker 5: no consequences. It means failure does not have to become
- 24:59Speaker 5: our permanent identity. Repentance invites change. Grace invites restoration. Wisdom
- 25:11Speaker 5: invites us to learn, and faith invites us to keep walking.
- 25:17Speaker 5: You cannot go back and rewrite every decision, but you
- 25:22Speaker 5: can take responsibility for what happened, make amends where appropriate,
- 25:29Speaker 5: and choose differently moving forward. Your past may explain part
- 25:35Speaker 5: of your journey. It does not have to dictate your destination.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Stop sentencing yourself to a lifetime of regret for a
- 25:46Speaker 5: chapter God is inviting you to learn from and move beyond.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Purge the need for everybody's approval. This one is important.
- 25:59Speaker 5: Everybody will not understand your callings. When God called you,
- 26:05Speaker 5: it was not a conference call. Everybody will not celebrate
- 26:10Speaker 5: your growth. You have people that simply tolerate you, but
- 26:15Speaker 5: they'll never celebrate you. Everybody will not agree with your decision.
- 26:22Speaker 5: And everybody will not be comfortable with the boundaries you establish.
- 26:28Speaker 5: But you cannot build a purpose-driven life while requiring... universal approval.
- 26:36Speaker 5: You constantly need people to validate your decisions. You may
- 26:40Speaker 5: find yourself living according to their expectations instead of your convictions.
- 26:47Speaker 5: Galatians 1 and 10 challenges believers to examine whether they
- 26:53Speaker 5: are seeking to please people rather than serve God. There's
- 26:58Speaker 5: a difference between receiving wise counsel and becoming controlled by
- 27:05Speaker 5: the opinions of others. Listen to wisdom. Remain accountable. Be
- 27:14Speaker 5: teachable and coachable. But do not surrender your identity to
- 27:19Speaker 5: the crowd. Sometimes spiritual maturity means being willing to disappoint
- 27:26Speaker 5: people without being disrespectful. Sometimes it means saying no Sometimes
- 27:34Speaker 5: it means walking away from unhealthy expectations. Sometimes it means
- 27:40Speaker 5: making a decision that others do not understand. And sometimes
- 27:46Speaker 5: it means learning that your worth does not increase or
- 27:50Speaker 5: decrease according to the applause. If we look at the
- 27:55Speaker 5: life of Jesus, we see that on one week, the
- 27:59Speaker 5: people were screaming, Hosanna, Hosanna. Amen. And the next week,
- 28:05Speaker 5: they were screaming, crucify him, crucify him. Declare on tonight
- 28:14Speaker 5: that I will seek God's direction, welcome wise counsel, and
- 28:20Speaker 5: refuse to make public approval life the foundation of my identity.
- 28:28Speaker 5: From purge to power. What happens after the cleansing? Now
- 28:37Speaker 5: that we have discussed the purge, let's talk about the power.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Because the title of this episode is not simply about
- 28:48Speaker 5: the purge. It is purge to power. The process is
- 28:53Speaker 5: not the destination. Spiritual cleansing is meant to lead us
- 28:59Speaker 5: into deeper fellowship with God and more fruit for living.
- 29:03Speaker 5: 2 Timothy 2 and 21 says, If a man therefore
- 29:10Speaker 5: purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified,
- 29:17Speaker 5: and met for the master's use, and prepared unto every
- 29:24Speaker 5: good work. Notice the words, prepared unto every good work.
- 29:30Speaker 5: The gold is not simply removal. The gold is readiness.
- 29:35Speaker 5: God desires to shape us into vessels that can serve him. faithfully.
- 29:41Speaker 5: But what does power look like? Many people associate power
- 29:46Speaker 5: with visibility. They think power means having a microphone, a
- 29:52Speaker 5: large platform, a successful business, a major ministry, a recognizable name.
- 30:00Speaker 5: But spiritual power is not measured only by public accomplishment.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Sometimes power looks like peace. Sometimes it might look like self-control.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Sometimes power looks like the courage to begin again. Sometimes
- 30:19Speaker 5: power looks like setting a healthy boundary. Sometimes power looks
- 30:25Speaker 5: like refusing to retaliate. Sometimes power looks like getting out
- 30:31Speaker 5: of bed after a season of grief. Sometimes power looks
- 30:36Speaker 5: like asking for help. And sometimes power looks like loving
- 30:42Speaker 5: again after your heart has been broken. Do not underestimate
- 30:48Speaker 5: the power of quiet transformation. The power of a renewed
- 30:55Speaker 5: identity when you begin releasing unhealthy beliefs You make room
- 31:00Speaker 5: to understand who you are in Christ. You stop defining
- 31:05Speaker 5: yourself solely by what happened to you. You stop allowing
- 31:10Speaker 5: rejection to determine your worth. You stop identifying yourself only
- 31:17Speaker 5: through your failures. And you begin understanding that your identity
- 31:22Speaker 5: is rooted in God's love and grace. You are more
- 31:26Speaker 5: than what you lost. You are more than what you survive.
- 31:31Speaker 5: You are more than what people say about you. And
- 31:34Speaker 5: you are more than your worst mistakes. Your experiences have
- 31:40Speaker 5: shaped your journey, but they do not possess the authority
- 31:45Speaker 5: to erase your God-given worth. The power Resilience is not
- 32:01Speaker 5: the absence of pain. It's the ability to adapt, recover,
- 32:06Speaker 5: seek support, and continue moving forward despite adversity. In 2
- 32:14Speaker 5: Corinthians 12 and 5, the Lord tells Paul, My grace
- 32:20Speaker 5: is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect
- 32:25Speaker 5: in weakness. What a powerful reminder. You do not have
- 32:30Speaker 5: to possess unlimited personal strength. You can depend on God's grace.
- 32:36Speaker 5: You can recognize your limitations. You can receive support and
- 32:41Speaker 5: you continue growing. Somebody listening has experienced a setback that
- 32:48Speaker 5: made you question whether you would ever recover. But I
- 32:53Speaker 5: want to encourage you on tonight. Recovery may look different
- 32:59Speaker 5: from what you expected. Your future may require adjustments. Your
- 33:06Speaker 5: pace may change. Your priorities may shift. But a changed
- 33:12Speaker 5: life can still be a meaningful life. Your purpose can
- 33:16Speaker 5: evolve without disappearing. The power of purpose. One of the
- 33:22Speaker 5: most beautiful things that can emerge from adversity is a
- 33:27Speaker 5: deeper understanding of how we can serve others. Sometimes the
- 33:32Speaker 5: compassion you develop through suffering enables you to recognize pain
- 33:38Speaker 5: that others overlook. Sometimes your experience teaches you how to
- 33:44Speaker 5: encourage someone who's facing a similar struggle. Sometimes your journey
- 33:50Speaker 5: becomes a foundation for a ministry, a book, a support group,
- 33:57Speaker 5: a coaching program, or a message of hope. But remember this,
- 34:03Speaker 5: you are not obligated to turn every wound into public testimony.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Some experiences are sacred and private. Some stories require time
- 34:15Speaker 5: before they can be shared. And some parts of your
- 34:19Speaker 5: journey may never need to be disclosed publicly. Purpose does
- 34:25Speaker 5: not require you you to expose every painful detail of
- 34:29Speaker 5: your life. It requires faithfulness, which God has entrusted in you.
- 34:36Speaker 5: The greatest evidence of power is not how loudly you
- 34:41Speaker 5: announce your transformation, but how faithful you live differently because
- 34:48Speaker 5: of it. The Persian is preparing you for a new season.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Let me ask you something. Have you ever tried to
- 34:56Speaker 5: put something new into a space that was already full?
- 35:01Speaker 5: Maybe you purchased new clothes but your closet was overflowing.
- 35:06Speaker 5: Maybe you bought new furniture but the room was already crowded.
- 35:12Speaker 5: Before you can enjoy what is new, you have to
- 35:16Speaker 5: make space. This is a perfect picture of what spiritual
- 35:22Speaker 5: renewal can look like. Sometimes we pray for new opportunities
- 35:27Speaker 5: while refusing to release old habits. We pray for healthy
- 35:32Speaker 5: relationships by holding on to destructive patterns. We pray for
- 35:38Speaker 5: peace while maintaining schedules that leave no room for rest.
- 35:44Speaker 5: We pray for growth while resisting correction. But making room
- 35:49Speaker 5: for what is next requires attentional Isaiah 43, 18-19 says,
- 35:56Speaker 5: God spoke these words to his people in a context
- 35:58Speaker 5: of restoration and hope. They remind us that our understanding
- 36:02Speaker 5: of God's work must not be limited to what he
- 36:27Speaker 5: has done in the past. He is able to make
- 36:31Speaker 5: a way where we cannot see one. And sometimes recognizing
- 36:35Speaker 5: new possibilities require us to loosen our grips on old expectations.
- 36:43Speaker 5: You cannot enter every new season carrying old burdens. Some
- 36:51Speaker 5: things must be addressed. Some things must be grieved. Some
- 36:55Speaker 5: things must be surrendered. Some things must be forgiven. And
- 37:00Speaker 5: some things must simply be accepted as a part of
- 37:04Speaker 5: a chapter that has ended. But acceptance does not mean approval.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Sometimes the greatest challenge is not walking away. is resisting
- 37:22Speaker 5: the temptation to return. When change becomes uncomfortable, familiarity begins
- 37:31Speaker 5: looking attractive. You still remember only the good parts of
- 37:36Speaker 5: a situation. You forget the anxiety. You forget the disrespect.
- 37:42Speaker 5: You forget the emotional exhaustion. You forget why you needed
- 37:48Speaker 5: change in the first place. And suddenly you begin considering
- 37:53Speaker 5: returning something to something that was harming you. That's why
- 37:58Speaker 5: spiritual growth must be supported by practical wisdom. Write down
- 38:05Speaker 5: what you are learning. Establish healthy boundaries. Surround yourself with
- 38:11Speaker 5: people who support your growth. Seek wise counsel. Develop new routines.
- 38:19Speaker 5: And remember... why you made the decision to move forward.
- 38:25Speaker 5: Philippians 13 and 14 reminds us of Paul's determination to
- 38:31Speaker 5: reach towards what was ahead. He writes about forgetting what
- 38:36Speaker 5: is behind us and pressing towards the mark. This does
- 38:40Speaker 5: not mean erasing our memories. It means refusing to allow
- 38:45Speaker 5: the past to become the controlling force of your life.
- 38:51Speaker 5: Speak this over your life. I am not going backwards
- 38:56Speaker 5: simply because for it feels unfamiliar. I am not abandoning
- 39:01Speaker 5: my healing to maintain someone else's comfort. I am not
- 39:06Speaker 5: allowing fear to cancel my obedience. I am not allowing
- 39:12Speaker 5: disappointment to destroy my expectation. I am not allowing rejection
- 39:19Speaker 5: to determine my worth. I am not allowing yesterday's mistakes
- 39:24Speaker 5: to become tomorrow's identity. I am growing. I am learning.
- 39:29Speaker 5: I am healing. I am becoming. And by the grace
- 39:35Speaker 5: of God, I am moving forward. Do not become so
- 39:40Speaker 5: attached to the life that you survive that you refuse
- 39:44Speaker 5: to embrace the life you are being called to build. Amen, amen.
- 39:57Speaker 5: So remember, your voice still matters. Your gifts still matter.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Your presence still matters. And your purpose does not disappear
- 40:08Speaker 5: simply because your circumstances have changed. You may not be
- 40:13Speaker 5: able to recover everything you lost. You may not receive
- 40:17Speaker 5: answers to every question. And your journey may look different
- 40:22Speaker 5: from the one you originally imagined. But different does not
- 40:27Speaker 5: mean meaningless. Change does not mean worthless. He's able to
- 40:33Speaker 5: comfort you in your grief. Remember, our opening scripture, John
- 40:41Speaker 5: 15 and 2, teaches us that a fruitful branch is
- 40:45Speaker 5: pruned so it can bear more fruit. And as you
- 40:51Speaker 5: allow God to examine your heart, And God your growth,
- 40:56Speaker 5: remember that his grace is sufficient for every step of
- 41:03Speaker 5: the journey. Final decorations. I want you to repeat these
- 41:12Speaker 5: decorations wherever you are if you feel comfortable doing so.
- 41:17Speaker 5: I am not defined by what I have lost. I
- 41:22Speaker 5: am not imprisoned by what I have experienced. I refuse
- 41:27Speaker 5: the fear that has restricted my growth. I release the
- 41:32Speaker 5: bitterness that has disturbed my peace. I release the comparison
- 41:38Speaker 5: that has weakened my confidence. I release the guilt that
- 41:43Speaker 5: has kept me trapped in yesterday. I release the need
- 41:48Speaker 5: to be approved by everyone. I welcome God's wisdom. I
- 41:52Speaker 5: welcome spiritual growth. I welcome healing. I welcome a renewed purpose.
- 42:00Speaker 5: I will not rush my process. I will not disperse
- 42:05Speaker 5: my progress. I will not surrender my future to my past.
- 42:10Speaker 5: By God's grace, I am moving from fear to faith,
- 42:15Speaker 5: from bitterness to freedom, from confusion to clarity. From surviving
- 42:23Speaker 5: to additional living. From purge to power. And we're going
- 42:32Speaker 5: to end like we always do with a closing prayer.
- 42:36Speaker 5: Heavenly Father, in the precious name of your son Jesus,
- 42:41Speaker 5: we come before you today with grateful hearts. Thank you
- 42:46Speaker 5: for loving us through every season of our life. Thank
- 42:51Speaker 5: you for being present when life is difficult, when our
- 42:55Speaker 5: hearts are broken and when we do not understand what
- 42:59Speaker 5: is happening around us. Father, we invite you on tonight
- 43:04Speaker 5: to search our hearts. Reveal anything that is within us
- 43:09Speaker 5: that is interfering with our spiritual growth. Where there is fear,
- 43:15Speaker 5: give us courage. Where there is bitterness, help us move
- 43:19Speaker 5: towards forgiveness and freedom. Where there is guilt, remind us
- 43:25Speaker 5: of your grace. Where there is confusion, grant us wisdom.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Where there is emotional pain, surround us with comfort, compassion,
- 43:35Speaker 5: and the support we need. Lord, teach us how to
- 43:39Speaker 5: release what is unhealthy, what is being hardened towards others.
- 43:44Speaker 5: Teach us how to establish boundaries. Teach us to move forward,
- 43:50Speaker 5: without denying our grief, and teach us how to trust
- 43:54Speaker 5: you even when the chapter is uncertain. Encourage the person
- 44:01Speaker 5: who is ready to give up on the dream. Comfort
- 44:05Speaker 5: the person who is grieving. Guide the person who is
- 44:08Speaker 5: beginning again. And remind every listener that their value is
- 44:13Speaker 5: not determined by their circumstances. Help us become vessels of honor.
- 44:20Speaker 5: We surrender unto you on tonight. Amen and amen. Remember, amen.
- 44:30Speaker 5: Every member of the crew cast, give them hallelujah, the
- 44:36Speaker 5: desires of their heart. Let everyone listening on tonight know
- 44:41Speaker 5: that they still have purpose, that their life still has meaning.
- 44:48Speaker 5: That it's a process, it's a journey. And don't stop
- 44:52Speaker 5: on the way, on the journey. Don't stop on your
- 44:57Speaker 5: way to your next. Before I go, I want to
- 45:03Speaker 5: leave you with one final thought. The purge is not
- 45:07Speaker 5: the end of your story. Sometimes the process of becoming
- 45:13Speaker 5: requires releasing what no longer belongs in your life. I
- 45:21Speaker 5: want you to carry these words with you this week.
- 45:25Speaker 5: I survived the shaking. I'm surrendering to the shaping. I'm
- 45:31Speaker 5: going from purge to power. If this message encouraged you,
- 45:37Speaker 5: share it with someone who is navigating a season of change.
- 45:42Speaker 5: You never know who may need to hear that this
- 45:46Speaker 5: season does not mean this story is over. Until next time,
- 45:53Speaker 5: keep believing, keep growing, and keep walking in purpose. Because
- 46:00Speaker 5: what you've been through does not have to stop. What
- 46:04Speaker 5: God can still do through you. Thank you once again
- 46:10Speaker 5: for tuning in to this week's episode. Once again, if
- 46:15Speaker 5: it encouraged you, share it with somebody that needs encouragement.
- 46:20Speaker 5: There's somebody that needs to go from the purge to
- 46:24Speaker 5: the power. Amen. And for only $ 27 for my initial
- 46:34Speaker 5: coaching program from purge to power, it's only $ 27 until
- 46:38Speaker 5: October 31st. After October 31st, the price will increase to $ 47.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Amen.
- 46:50Speaker 5: If you want to be a part of this initial cohort, amen.
- 46:56Speaker 5: Reach out to me. Amen. My email address is Y,
- 47:03Speaker 5: as in yellow, H-O-M-A-S, the number four, at gmail.com. I
- 47:15Speaker 5: will see you again, if God says the same, in
- 47:19Speaker 5: two weeks. God bless and good night.
- 47:40Speaker 4: She's still.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Standing.
- 47:46Speaker 4: She's still praying. She's still speaking. She's still believing.
