- 0:52>> Oh, just scrub that.

- 1:05>> He doesn't sweat much.
- 1:05>> Soup doesn't sweat much.
- 1:06>> Gay don't sweat.
- 1:07>> No.
- 1:08>> I came in
- 1:10>> What? I
- 1:10>> I came in at - 55 in the car. Air
- 1:12conditioning full tilt.
- 1:14>> If Cam or Twister was in that suit,
- 1:16>> there'd be 14 lbs of water and I are bad
- 1:20about you know the funny thing is it's a
- 1:22one piece.
- 1:23>> It's a one piece. Jump in. Jump out.
- 1:25He's like he's full.
- 1:27>> He's like the set it and forget it guy
- 1:28in the old blue suit.
- 1:30>> I wish he had like that.
- 1:32>> If he had a belt, it would be

- 1:35>> I got a I got a championship belt at

- 1:41>> He just goes,
- 1:42>> "Is it a one piece?"
- 1:43>> I'll lift my leg up.
- 1:44>> It's not a one piece.
- 1:47>> Wait, that's what we're talking about.
- 1:48>> Sorry. How you doing? Get there.
- 1:52>> We're just bullshitting. I think this
- 1:54episode we're just going to talk about
- 1:55what we got going on. All the guys, man,
- 1:58we all been through so many different
- 1:59things and hockey and all that stuff. We
- 2:02told stories before, but I think today,
- 2:04let's get into what we got going
- 2:06currently. Like, what do you got going?
- 2:07I was looking at Jamie. Anytime Jamie's
- 2:09at the Lake of Ozarks, I'm wondering if
- 2:11he's going to have that back end speedo.
- 2:13>> Yeah, baby.
- 2:14>> I'm like, is it coming? Is it coming? It
- 2:16didn't come. Did you guys have a good
- 2:18time now? Where you got going,
- 2:20>> James? I love going to the lake whenever
- 2:21we can. obviously grew up on the lake in
- 2:23Canada and it's a little different. Lake
- 2:25up up north was a lot more private,
- 2:27secluded,
- 2:28>> cleaner,
- 2:28>> a little more rural. It wasn't quite the
- 2:30same atmosphere, but but we love going
- 2:33to the lake. Um,
- 2:34>> we have a good time. We try to once a
- 2:36year get the whole family up there and
- 2:38it's growing because now everybody's
- 2:40older. They got their plus one, their
- 2:41boyfriend, girlfriend. So, we have like
- 2:4312 or 13 people. A good buddy of ours,
- 2:45Mark Beckham. Uh, he's him and his his
- 2:48lovely bride, Jane.
- 2:49>> Does he play soccer?
- 2:50>> No, no, no. that's his brother. Um, so
- 2:53he uh
- 2:53>> maybe his cousin
- 2:54>> he's gracious enough to open up the
- 2:56doors and welcome us in and whatnot and
- 2:59we love we have a great time and yeah,
- 3:01you never know when a speedo might make
- 3:03an appearance.
- 3:03>> I was conceived down there according to
- 3:05my parents which is disgusting to think
- 3:06about. But yeah, we understandable.
- 3:09That's horrible. My dad told me that all
- 3:11the time but I
- 3:14anytime anybody
- 3:16Well, yeah, I got a we grew up down
- 3:18there too so it's pretty cool. So,
- 3:20speaking of Party Cove, did you get
- 3:21suits for the whole family now? Because
- 3:23I know you were going out in the boat at
- 3:25at the cove and you had the EPA suits,
- 3:27the white and you had the gas mask on.
- 3:29You're testing the water, shaking your
- 3:30head, and people are coming. Were you
- 3:32doing that?
- 3:32>> Standard procedure.
- 3:34>> So, the whole the whole family, you got
- 3:35everybody's doing the EPA. Yeah.
- 3:37>> Coming with the white suits, got the gas
- 3:38mask on, just shaking your head, doing
- 3:40the adjustments.
- 3:41>> Safety first. Twist. I like
- 3:43>> We go the opposite way.
- 3:45>> We try to build immunity.
- 3:46>> My garage. in my garage.
- 3:48>> What's your garage? Wait, I've been to
- 3:50your garage. It
- 3:51>> It's a You have
- 3:53>> It's everything.
- 3:54>> It's everything. I mean, I I was making
- 3:56a a small robot and a nuclear missile,
- 3:59but I I quit doing that because I got
- 4:01caught. So,
- 4:02>> yeah, the robot's still active.
- 4:04>> Yeah, she's she's doing good.
- 4:09>> If you went to his garage, just so
- 4:10everybody knows, like there's a million
- 4:13different parts. He's doing different
- 4:14stuff.
- 4:15>> He's spread out into the woods now. How
- 4:17many out in the woods?
- 4:19>> How many motorcycles are in there?
- 4:21>> No, I I do a bunch of artwork and I
- 4:23haven't had much chance to do it lately.
- 4:25So, I I do a bunch of stuff with glass
- 4:27and the weld and some metal work and you
- 4:30know then actually doing some uh some
- 4:33silicone masks and stuff. I think you
- 4:34might have seen a couple of those.
- 4:36>> Tony time.
- 4:37>> Yeah. I mean, absolutely. You know, um
- 4:38it's it's fun. You I myself
- 4:41>> silicone masks make their way into you
- 4:44know
- 4:44>> Oh, they have. Yes, they made it. Myers.
- 4:48>> I'm I'm I'm going to make I'll make a
- 4:49couple for these shows. Don't worry.
- 4:51>> Okay.
- 4:52>> Yeah.
- 4:52>> You may have seen a couple on TV. I got
- 4:54rid of those ones, though.
- 4:56>> You burned them.
- 4:56>> I did.
- 4:57>> Yes. They melt. Well,
- 4:58>> are you still riding?
- 5:00>> Uh what bikes?
- 5:02>> Oh, no. No. I haven't I haven't I
- 5:05haven't ridden a bike for a while.
- 5:06>> I haven't ridden a motorcycle for a
- 5:08while.
- 5:08>> You can't ask a serious question on this
- 5:09podcast cuz you are not getting
- 5:11>> I've got two that have been sitting in
- 5:13the driveway for two years. I mean,
- 5:16If you really go to his house and
- 5:18interesting, he's doing all kinds of
- 5:20crazy stuff.
- 5:20>> Okay, so when you when you drive in the
- 5:22house, I got a I got a fullsize
- 5:24Sasquatch that's in the front
- 5:26>> and and very well-haired, by the way.
- 5:28>> And then if you go a little farther
- 5:30down, you got a dinosaur T-Rex who's
- 5:33like 12, 13t tall. And I
- 5:35>> glow in the dark, too.
- 5:36>> He's glow-in-the-dark. And I painted
- 5:37him. And I got I wrapped him so he looks
- 5:40like his skin's coming off him. And then
- 5:43up on the top, I got a skull that's a
- 5:45just a big uh uh ceramic skull that's up
- 5:49on the on up the hill. Then if you walk
- 5:52down the woods, there's some prosthetic
- 5:54arms and some torsos and another skull
- 5:56and stuff hanging from the from the
- 5:58woods. I mean, it's it's just, you know,
- 6:00and it's for nobody else's enjoyment but
- 6:02my own because nobody else sees it.
- 6:04>> It scare the neighbors.
- 6:05>> The neighbors don't come over.
- 6:08>> It's strictly for my enjoyment. Did you
- 6:11create all this stuff? This is your
- 6:12artwork. That's awesome.
- 6:13>> It's all my stuff.
- 6:15>> Twister really only has one neighbor
- 6:17that's kind of close. It's the one right
- 6:19down beside you.
- 6:20>> Yeah.
- 6:21>> And there was a time that was for sale.
- 6:22I was going to we I wanted to buy it and
- 6:25then we just have like a mechanical
- 6:26chair going up and down from
- 6:29>> that would have been beautiful.
- 6:30>> That'd be great.
- 6:32>> We'd both be divorced.
- 6:34>> He's got a lot of [ __ ] going on. We got
- 6:37He's got an English castle in gosh dang
- 6:40Kirkwood. Now he's got a house down to
- 6:42Liy Ozarks. He's doing his thing. You're
- 6:44way up to Nianga. Like what do you got
- 6:46going on, Si?
- 6:47>> Not much.
- 6:48>> But I the Gator
- 6:50>> besides Gator I do I take a lot of naps.
- 6:53>> I take a lot of
- 6:55>> So I probably nap every day. I drive
- 6:58around to come see you guys and talk to
- 7:00everybody. I fish a lot. Um,
- 7:03>> are you good?
- 7:05>> Decent. I go out with some guys at the
- 7:06lake that are pretty good. They show me
- 7:08where to fish and they know what's going
- 7:09on. Old
- 7:10>> you just wake up in that and take off
- 7:12because I mean you lots of naps that
- 7:14that's the position.
- 7:15>> I can sleep anywhere. I could sleep on
- 7:17the couch out here. I can sleep in this
- 7:18chair.
- 7:18>> Soup with the guys you fish with
- 7:20everybody up there when you talk about
- 7:22fishing, they all got the honey hole. I
- 7:24got a honey hole.
- 7:25>> Old school
- 7:26>> and I'm like
- 7:27>> I sunk a tree over here. I'm going to
- 7:28hit this tree and I guarantee you're
- 7:30going to catch something. Yeah.
- 7:31personally sunk a tree there.
- 7:32>> Yeah. They put their weights on it and
- 7:34they'll sink it there and then they
- 7:35always go there cuz they're fishing
- 7:36tournaments.
- 7:37>> Oh yeah.
- 7:37>> So they come back to the sweet spot.
- 7:38>> That sounds like it's illegal.
- 7:40>> It's almost illegal. Maybe they're tying
- 7:42the fish there and putting them up and
- 7:43catch I don't know.
- 7:45>> The guys that put the weights and stuff.
- 7:47>> Yeah. Yeah. That's not great.
- 7:49>> Do you guys see the guy who faked the
- 7:50hole in one?
- 7:52>> How do you do that?
- 7:52>> That's not That's good.
- 7:54>> That is interesting guy too, right?
- 7:57>> Huh?
- 7:57>> Was it Crafty?
- 7:58>> It was diabolical. No,
- 8:01>> it was the most ridiculous thing ever.
- 8:03>> He wasn't even crafty.
- 8:04>> No, no,
- 8:05>> we're talking about it. Just bring it up
- 8:06now real quick. It's not a long story.
- 8:07>> No,
- 8:08>> he was playing a golf round the next
- 8:10day.
- 8:11>> He was in a tournament. He was It was
- 8:13like a member guest tournament, but it
- 8:14was one where everybody went off and not
- 8:16a shotgun where everybody's on a hole
- 8:18and he was on the first hole and he
- 8:20found that out and he bought in that
- 8:22morning for the hole in one. Well,
- 8:24before at like 5:30 in the morning after
- 8:26the grounds crew had left, he parked his
- 8:28car right by the par three uh on number
- 8:31three at Wing Haven. And he snuck in and
- 8:33he made a divot in the thing and he put
- 8:35a hole in there. And then after they got
- 8:37done at the second, he's like, I got to
- 8:38run forward and I'm just going to take
- 8:39my shot so that I can go and make a
- 8:42phone call when he comes back. They're
- 8:43like, how was your his three guys?
- 8:44>> Grandma is grandma.
- 8:46>> Some crazy story. Then he came back and
- 8:48they're like, I don't know. I kind of
- 8:49scoldled it, but there I don't know
- 8:52where it's at. He walked up.
- 8:54He had put a ball in the hole earlier
- 8:56that morning.
- 8:57>> Did the hole in the morning,
- 8:58>> but then
- 8:59camera on the shack that he PARKED NEXT.
- 9:01>> COME ON. Then he got busted. So the guys
- 9:04out there like, "Well, who witnessed
- 9:05this?" And they're like, "Well, he ran
- 9:06ahead and took a shot cuz he had a phone
- 9:08call." And everyone's like, "No, like
- 9:10part of the rule for the hole in one
- 9:11deal is you got to have a witness." So
- 9:13then they're like, "Well, we've got
- 9:14videos, right?" So then they start
- 9:15looking through all the videos. They see
- 9:16him pulling up at 5:30 in the morning on
- 9:18camera,
- 9:20>> taking the ball and dropping it in the
- 9:21hole. He and his girl have won
- 9:24tournaments too before that too.
- 9:26>> It's all under suspicion now.
- 9:27>> He's been kicked out of like three or
- 9:29four country clubs in the St. Louis area
- 9:31for doing this type of [ __ ]
- 9:32>> Isn't that stealing? Can you not get
- 9:34>> I don't know the legal ramifications,
- 9:36but moral ramifications.
- 9:38>> It's a $1,500 pot. Like if I'm going if
- 9:41I'm going to be something, I'm going for
- 9:43BIGGER THAN 1500.
- 9:44>> NOT A BAD IDEA. I was like
- 9:47>> that is honest. We in some of those
- 9:50tournaments back in the day.
- 9:52>> Wow. We got a preferred lie. That was a
- 9:54charity tournament. Jim, you're in a
- 9:56safe place.
- 9:56>> A preferred lie.
- 9:58>> As soon as Winter showed up to a golf
- 10:00tournament, we knew they were cheating
- 10:02and they were 22 under every time.
- 10:04>> Twister. I had to deal with the worst
- 10:05golfer I've ever seen.
- 10:06>> I was a young cataract.
- 10:08>> Never never knew. I My parents never
- 10:10played golf and I started playing golf
- 10:12all the time cuz you're with the guys,
- 10:14man, and you're getting invited to all
- 10:15these [ __ ] tournaments. And I went to
- 10:17some big dog tournaments and I had no
- 10:19idea what to wear and I would wear like
- 10:21t-shirt like and like you know jean
- 10:23shorts
- 10:24>> like a hillbilly
- 10:26>> but I'd be always with you and a couple
- 10:28other cats.
- 10:28>> Oh boy.
- 10:29>> And
- 10:30>> sometimes they would do things where we
- 10:33would win and they would all go out for
- 10:35a cigarette and I'm sitting there with
- 10:37Al McKinnis and [ __ ] everybody and
- 10:39they'd be like team Cam Jansen wins and
- 10:44>> 23 UNDER AND EVERYONE'S LIKE
- 10:47LYNCH AT MY [ __ ] TABLE.
- 10:49>> We all outside looking through the
- 10:52window and everybody they all look at JD
- 10:56they're like what? And I get up like
- 10:59and I go get ALL THESE GIFTS.
- 11:01>> THEY SHOT PRETTY GOOD.
- 11:03>> IS THAT GOOD? Is 2300 good?
- 11:07>> Oh my god.
- 11:08>> Z fills his scorecard out before the
- 11:10round.
- 11:10>> Yeah, he handed it in before the
- 11:12tournament.
- 11:13>> So he got so bad. Trust me, we're going
- 11:15to get there.
- 11:16>> Remember,
- 11:17>> that was awesome. That was a good day.
- 11:19>> But then you gave away all the stuff to
- 11:20the kids, right?
- 11:21>> I gave it to the children.
- 11:21>> Yeah.
- 11:22>> That's a That classic.
- 11:24>> That's a good cell.
- 11:25>> That was funny.
- 11:26>> No, it's embarrassing.
- 11:27>> You can't do that.
- 11:29>> Well, you can.
- 11:30>> We did. It did. It happened.
- 11:32>> I was a young kid.
- 11:33>> I didn't know what was going on.
- 11:36>> I blacked out. Blame the other guys.
- 11:38>> Cam's coming to the golf tournament.
- 11:39>> I'm sitting there by
- 11:40>> Do you go Do you cheat at all the golf
- 11:42tournaments?
- 11:42>> Yes.
- 11:42>> No. No. Yes, you do.
- 11:44>> Oh, a Jeep's such a heavy.
- 11:46>> Yeah. What does that mean? What does
- 11:47that mean?
- 11:48>> Why do you have to be so aggressive?
- 11:50>> I'm not playing the ball down in the
- 11:52divots. Fluff it up a little bit. You
- 11:54know,
- 11:54>> soup. You guys take 13 putts to get it
- 11:57in and then call it a birdie.
- 12:00>> What? Yes. I've been on your team.
- 12:02>> Oh, yeah. Then you were taking the 13th.
- 12:04>> I wasn't. I was in the golf cart waiting
- 12:05for you guys.
- 12:06>> I was mad at you.
- 12:08>> Lozy can do a good drive, but he's bad
- 12:11at keeping score.
- 12:13THAT'S WHY I DO IT FOR HIM.
- 12:16>> LOI CAN'T COUNT PAST 25, SO HE'S not
- 12:19allowed to keep scoring.
- 12:20>> I golf with Lo and Bell Ree a couple
- 12:22months ago when they were setting up
- 12:23balls and Lozi hit a shot in the
- 12:26tournament that nobody the ball went
- 12:29past something like we [ __ ] crushed
- 12:31it. And everybody was talking about that
- 12:33and they were talking about on the radio
- 12:34the next day too and like yeah like he
- 12:36didn't even probably look at the ball.
- 12:38You just [ __ ] smoked it and you went
- 12:40past like no one's ever done that
- 12:41before. You green something.
- 12:43>> Yeah.
- 12:43>> And then you hit four shots.
- 12:47>> Drive. He five putted.
- 12:49>> Drive for pumps up and I pump.
- 12:51>> Drive for show putt for dough. And I
- 12:53have show and no dough. So
- 12:55>> yeah.
- 12:55>> I wish I was.
- 12:56>> Hey Cam, can you bow us out for a
- 12:58second? My diaper's full.
- 12:59>> Let's go.
- 12:59>> All right.

- 13:11>> Loey, what are you up to, man? Tell
- 13:13>> about 64300.
- 13:15>> Holy [ __ ] What?
- 13:16>> Losi hits it 350 down the pipe. Got to
- 13:18pump his tires up for that. We talked
- 13:20about it earlier. He will.
- 13:21>> I'm not going to hit I am not hitting
- 13:23350 on the scale, though.
- 13:24>> I didn't 300.
- 13:26>> I'm about 295 right now.
- 13:27>> God, I'm fat, too.
- 13:28>> I I And I just I wear it well. I wear
- 13:32than most people wear, 295 pounds, but I
- 13:34I need to be about 260. So, I'm working
- 13:36towards that. Trying to get a little
- 13:37better food in me.
- 13:39>> Couple less glasses of wine at night.
- 13:41I'm eating a ton of cottage cheese right
- 13:43now and I'm [ __ ] ate up with it. I'm
- 13:45putting on my sweet potatoes. I'm
- 13:47putting it in my pastas. It's

- 14:05>> but I am fat and happy.
- 14:07>> Well, you were topping out a little bit
- 14:08heavier than 295 at one point.
- 14:12>> Yeah, I was. Yeah, but we're not talking
- 14:14about that.
- 14:14>> We're lean.
- 14:15>> Don't feel that. I was like 285 at one
- 14:17point.
- 14:18>> At 61.
- 14:19>> Jamie, you look better now than you did
- 14:2112 years ago.
- 14:21>> Hold on one second. You topped out at
- 14:23283.
- 14:24>> 285. even when we were working together
- 14:26because I got this huge ass and legs.
- 14:28You can carry it.
- 14:29>> Yeah. I got
- 14:30>> And I got on the scale and I was like,
- 14:32"Oh my
- 14:33>> What do you weigh now?"
- 14:35>> 222 probably.
- 14:36>> Okay.
- 14:38>> You're not hiding freaking 60 lbs.
- 14:41>> Buddy, you were working with me.
- 14:43>> I know you were fat, but you can't hide
- 14:45it.
- 14:45>> I'm tr trust me. I never forget the day
- 14:48I I went to to teach a hockey camp and I
- 14:51bent over to tie my skates. I got up. I
- 14:54was out of breath. Yeah.
- 14:55>> And I could barely reach. I need longer
- 14:56arms
- 14:57>> or
- 14:58>> so pretty close. And then so I went over
- 14:59to the scale in the alumni room, stepped
- 15:02on the scale. It was like 284 point
- 15:04whatever. And I was like, "Oh god." And
- 15:07that moment I stopped like that changed
- 15:08his impressive about six days a week on
- 15:11the road. Yeah.
- 15:13>> We should talk about Jimmy Roberts.
- 15:14>> I love Jimmy Roberts.
- 15:16>> Yeah.
- 15:16>> I We need to dedicate almost a whole
- 15:18episode to that
- 15:20>> because
- 15:20>> Great coach. He has so many stories.
- 15:23Yeah,
- 15:23>> there's a picture of you in our alumni
- 15:25dress wrestling room and Jimmy Roberts
- 15:27talking to you and everybody's like
- 15:28that's where Jimmy Roberts is talking to
- 15:30Subie about defense and all Subie wants
- 15:32to do is stand at the far blue line
- 15:35is what
- 15:36>> he's just standing there to be labeled
- 15:37>> look at the far blue line look at the
- 15:39far blue line's going to turn to him and
- 15:41say I can't score goals from the
- 15:42defensive zone I remember there's a
- 15:44picture that's circulating out there
- 15:47where Jimmy Roberts is trying to go
- 15:48after you and I'm holding him it's a Joe
- 15:51Lewis arena he was in the playoffs
- 15:53legitimately.
- 15:54>> Legitimately, Subie said something.
- 15:56Jimmy was talking about playing some
- 15:58kind of a defense or whatever and Jimmy
- 16:00said something about scoring goals. And
- 16:03it wasn't wrong because Subie was one of
- 16:04our goal scorers. Like it wasn't right,
- 16:06but it was like, okay, I get Jimmy
- 16:08snapped. I was like, what? He tried to
- 16:10go after Subie and I'm like grabbing I
- 16:12I'll find this picture and and I'll post
- 16:14it. We'll post a picture.
- 16:17>> Maybe I was keeping the the the light
- 16:19stressful.
- 16:20>> We had the playoffs the the 70s year.
- 16:22remember we went like the pork chops and
- 16:24everything
- 16:24>> and I'm sitting there holding Jimmy by
- 16:26his JACK AND HE'S LIKE
- 16:28>> TRYING to kill you.
- 16:30>> I got the cutting edge. I've got the
- 16:31best
- 16:32>> I can't remember I because I did a lot
- 16:34of [ __ ]
- 16:34>> I can't remember what he said but it was
- 16:36something about ignoring defense to
- 16:38create offense and we were in the
- 16:40playoffs and Jimmy didn't want to hear
- 16:41that.
- 16:42>> He wasn't happy. But it
- 16:44>> we all laughed about it.
- 16:45>> It was good. We were in Pittsburgh one
- 16:46night and the Blackhawks uh had played
- 16:49that night and we had just got in and I
- 16:51was rooming with Reed Simpson and Bob
- 16:53Probert and Ryan Vandenbush and a few
- 16:55guys were going out to have drinks after
- 16:57and they called uh Simmer. They're like,
- 16:59"Yeah, we'll meet them out." So, we're
- 17:00like curfews kind of 11. We're like down
- 17:02there about 11:25 waiting for a cab.
- 17:05Mike Kitchen, Joel Quinnville and Jimmy
- 17:07Roberts get out of the cab and me and
- 17:08Simmer are standing there like oh god.
- 17:10They're like make it a good one. Boy is
- 17:12like that. We jump in the cab, we take
- 17:14off. We're like, let's just, you know,
- 17:16take it easy tonight or whatever. We're
- 17:17going to get bagged for sure in the
- 17:19morning and pregame skate because
- 17:20neither of us were playing. And so we
- 17:22anyways, we have a couple. We go back.
- 17:23We figure we're going to get bag skated
- 17:25the next morning. So we're looking
- 17:26waiting for Jimmy's. He's got his
- 17:28mittens with the tape on them. He's got
- 17:30his Velcro skates on and he skates over.
- 17:32He's like, "No skate today, boys.
- 17:34Enjoy." We're like, "Man, we should have
- 17:35had a little more fun last night."
- 17:37>> You were
- 17:38that night?
- 17:39>> Yeah. He wasn't drinking.
- 17:40>> Were you guys making a rock?
- 17:42>> Quiet. Quiet. so cool, so quiet. And I
- 17:45had already fought him. I fought him in
- 17:47my like fifth game in the league. And I
- 17:49had fought four like I fought a lot
- 17:50right at the beginning of my of my of my
- 17:52tenure with in the NHL. But Bobby was
- 17:55looking at me. I had fought four fights
- 17:57in four games. I think it was my fifth
- 17:59game, whatever. And he's like looking at
- 18:01me going shaking his bells. I'm like,
- 18:02shouldn't I be the one coming after you
- 18:04right now? You're hungry for me. You're
- 18:06like 36 years old. I'm 24 years old. You
- 18:09know what I mean? So we had it there.
- 18:11Uh, we never fought again, but we were
- 18:12at dinner that or just drinks that night
- 18:14and he was just not drinking. He was
- 18:16quiet, super nice, super fun.
- 18:18>> How many How many of those How many
- 18:20rocks did you have for that rock pile?
- 18:22It sounds like you had You went out and
- 18:23made a rock pile.
- 18:24>> We did. We did. There was
- 18:25>> There's some good dudes in that group.
- 18:27>> They're all Bush, Simmer, Van Bush.
- 18:30Yeah, me, Simmer, Van Bush, and Proby.
- 18:32It was
- 18:32>> Bushy was a great dude. I remember
- 18:34>> tough guy.
- 18:34>> My first year in junior in the OHL, I'm
- 18:37playing for Sudbury and Vanden Bush is
- 18:39playing for the Cornwall Royals. He's
- 18:41not a big guy. Think about him as an
- 18:43NHLer. He was bigger then than he was in
- 18:45junior.
- 18:46>> And I remember, you know, my brother
- 18:48again, the [ __ ] disturber. He's like,
- 18:50"Hey, your first got to get out there.
- 18:52Get get in the scrap curtain wiper."
- 18:54>> Yeah. Yeah. And so I'm looking over at
- 18:56this guy Vandenbush. I'm like, "Okay,
- 18:58yeah, I'll fight this guy, you know,
- 19:00whatever." and I was about to and then
- 19:03Barry Moore who was like our third
- 19:05rounder that year. He somehow gets into
- 19:08it with Vandenbush.
- 19:10>> Barry Moore finished fourth and I could
- 19:13not believe Vanden Bush threw lefts,
- 19:14rights, lefts, right. I looked I looked
- 19:16over at my brother. I go, "Good that I
- 19:17didn't pick HIM." HE GOES, "YEAH,
- 19:18PROBABLY STAY AWAY FROM THAT GUY."
- 19:20>> Bushy was lefts and man, he chucked him
- 19:23hard and fast. He didn't care how big
- 19:26you were. He fought Kyle Frederick 6'7,
- 19:29>> right in front of the bench. And I think
- 19:30somebody said like one of his tooth flew
- 19:33out and stuck into somebody's dick. I
- 19:34don't know if that's a legend or not,
- 19:35but Bushy wasn't afraid of anybody. Him
- 19:38and PJ
- 19:39>> out by [ __ ] Grimson.
- 19:40>> Oh yeah.
- 19:41>> Yeah.
- 19:41>> And then and then he fought Grimmer
- 19:43again and he was cut up like [ __ ]
- 19:45this train like eat.
- 19:46>> One of the greatest fights I've ever
- 19:48seen. It was in the minors the lockout
- 19:50year. I was playing in Hershey and it
- 19:53was Dennis Bonvy and Vandenbush.
- 19:57>> Three and a half minutes long. Oh, these
- 19:59guys like neither of them had to do it.
- 20:01They were such established guys. At
- 20:02least in the minors, they were
- 20:03established guys. It's not like they
- 20:04were fighting a rookie. These guys had
- 20:06fought before in junior in the minors in
- 20:09the NHL. They went on for like three and
- 20:12a half minutes. You YouTube it Dennis
- 20:14Bonvy, right?
- 20:14>> I'm going to get home.
- 20:16>> So, you're going to be like this. What
- 20:17are they doing? And all of a sudden,
- 20:19they get it loose and they go.
- 20:21>> It's like, well, you owned the longest
- 20:22fight in the National Hockey League. How
- 20:24long was that? How long was that? It was
- 20:26It was long. Me and LeBron. Who's
- 20:28>> Oh god, he was
- 20:29>> Hey, listen. These goddamn minor league
- 20:31guys.
- 20:31>> But you own that title. How? How?
- 20:33>> He's not a minor league guy. I shouldn't
- 20:34say that. But like guys that are like up
- 20:36and down. Those guys are so [ __ ]
- 20:39tough, man. PL3, you know, he came in a
- 20:41jersey after me and he was long. He was
- 20:44>> Who's PL3?
- 20:46>> Pier Luke Lerno LeBlanc.
- 20:49Godamn.
- 20:50>> But he had lungs. He had lungs like you.
- 20:53He could fight forever.
- 20:54>> It was cool. like he was the king
- 20:56>> the miners for a long time. Vanden Bush
- 20:58knows guys like back in the HL used to
- 21:00play each other like 14 times like Kate
- 21:02Brett would play Freddy 14 up like he
- 21:05was with the Devils doing great and I
- 21:07think there was a game where he was said
- 21:10hey don't do anything and he went out
- 21:11there and got suspended or something
- 21:13like that it kind of ruined kind of put
- 21:15him back down and he kind of just kind
- 21:17of stayed on the minor
- 21:19>> but he wasn't like but he wasn't scary
- 21:22like that's the thing no he really
- 21:24wasn't though Cam like
- 21:25>> knock guys out
- 21:26>> you fought him for how how How long?
- 21:27What was the fight?
- 21:28>> Three. Yeah,
- 21:29>> three minutes.
- 21:30>> The record.
- 21:30>> Yeah, they said it
- 21:32>> the record. The record of national
- 21:33longest fight national right there.
- 21:34>> But I'm not saying he wasn't tough.
- 21:36Okay. I'm saying like when you look at
- 21:39the board in the morning and like being
- 21:41a third pair of defenseman, I knew third
- 21:43and fourth line. I'm seeing them all
- 21:45night and I'm like looking at the board
- 21:47going, "Ugh, I" And you look at that
- 21:50name, you're like, "Nah,
- 21:50>> cuz he's not hitting you."
- 21:51>> But he wasn't scary. Like he didn't like
- 21:53he was tough as nail. He fought you.
- 21:55He's scary. If you don't fight him, it
- 21:56doesn't matter. Exactly. So, it's like
- 21:58whatever. But you get this mutant or
- 22:01this guy here and then like my what I
- 22:03hated the most. One of the guys I hated
- 22:04playing against the most two of them uh
- 22:06were Ty Doy and Rick Takin. Reason being
- 22:10both of these guys their physical
- 22:11stature not big
- 22:13like strong guys but not tall. So if I
- 22:16line somebody up like I remember in
- 22:18Toronto one night I freaking hammered
- 22:20Matt Sundine coming across the middle
- 22:22but that was my job. Got to go out and
- 22:24do it right. And then Ty Dome is
- 22:26breathing down the back of my neck. And
- 22:27then I'm like, okay. Like he could he
- 22:29could fight Proby, he could fight
- 22:31Twister, or he could fight a guy like me
- 22:32cuz he's not the hugest guy. And
- 22:35>> see, you ever see that clip of him?
- 22:37>> You know, I love it so much. And it's
- 22:39like peak shitkicking Toronto Maple
- 22:41Leafs where they had Doy Roberts. Yeah.
- 22:44>> Tucker, Beac Corson,
- 22:47>> Manson, all there too. That's a little
- 22:51bit later. And then like uh Brashier's
- 22:54cruising around and hits doy warm-ups
- 22:56and don't [ __ ] and and then you got all
- 22:58these guys stacked up on the red line's
- 23:01like [ __ ] you and comes by hits him
- 23:03again. It's the it's like peak [ __ ]
- 23:06kicking testosterone those two teams
- 23:09going against each other and then do
- 23:11fought for Sheer and did really well
- 23:12against them.
- 23:13>> But my point is with those two Rick Tak
- 23:16in particular too and we played a lot
- 23:17against Rick and and you did too is they
- 23:20could skate. they could skate. So Ty
- 23:23Dolomi could dump it in your corner or
- 23:24Rick Tocket and they could skate. So you
- 23:26had to get back there. You had to be
- 23:28evasive. You had to, you know, have a
- 23:29kind of move or get to the boards quick,
- 23:31take the hit
- 23:32>> and you just didn't know if they're
- 23:33going to run you from behind, take your
- 23:35head off, like whatever it was. And
- 23:37especially after you hit somebody good.
- 23:39>> Um, and you had wheels, Cam. You had
- 23:42wheels. You could
- 23:43>> cam was dangerous like that.
- 23:44>> But the unfortunate part is that you
- 23:46didn't have enough tools to stay on the
- 23:48ice for any length of time. And I'm and
- 23:49I'm I'm not being insulting, but you had
- 23:51the speed and guys were well aware that
- 23:54going behind the net was going to cost
- 23:56you.
- 23:56>> I didn't know how to sauce a puck until
- 23:58I was 16 years old playing junior.
- 24:00>> I I tell you this all the time.
- 24:02>> Taught me.
- 24:02>> I tell you this. If you
- 24:04>> No. No. Seriously.
- 24:05>> I got drafted to Windsor when I was
- 24:08playing Triple A. So it wasn't like
- 24:09fighting like Dave.
- 24:10>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 24:11>> When I was playing Triple A scores.
- 24:13Dude, you are a good hockey player, but
- 24:15when you were on the ice,
- 24:17>> hockey wasn't even a thing. You were
- 24:19just looking headhunting everybody. I
- 24:21always tell you, like when I watched you
- 24:22play, if you if you would have taken 50%
- 24:25of the
- 24:26>> crazy man that you were and implemented
- 24:28into hockey, you probably could have
- 24:30done it. I know.
- 24:30>> Yeah, but it wasn't a thing.
- 24:32>> What do you think?
- 24:33>> LISTEN, THOMAS,
- 24:34>> DAD'S TELLING ME how to get the puck out
- 24:36of the [ __ ] zone.
- 24:36>> Thomas Cabet still got tweety birds
- 24:38going around his head. So,
- 24:40>> like, but you think my mom and dad are
- 24:41like, "This is what you need to do."
- 24:42Like I I just want to figure out
- 24:44>> it wasn't a thing. Know your niches,
- 24:46find your riches. That's all I
- 24:48>> It wasn't a thing. You didn't do skill
- 24:49development.
- 24:50>> Before we move off, Tyomi 339
- 24:53fighting majors in the NHL. It's a
- 24:56record for most fighting majors in the
- 24:57NHL.
- 24:58>> Rigid.
- 25:00You're goddamn right.
- 25:01>> Yeah.
- 25:02>> Uh Paul Law has the most fighting majors
- 25:04in a season at 42.
- 25:06>> Paul Law.
- 25:07>> Yeah.
- 25:08>> Florida Panthers.
- 25:09>> Twister like Florida.
- 25:10>> I didn't think he was that tough. I
- 25:11fought him in the minor and I and I
- 25:13broke his helmet in Florida.
- 25:14>> You're you.
- 25:15>> Yeah.
- 25:15>> No, because I brought split. Scott
- 25:17Melanie comes out and he goes, "You did
- 25:19this." And I split his helmet in a half.
- 25:21And
- 25:22>> he wasn't really in your weight class.
- 25:23>> No, he really was. And that's why I
- 25:25didn't I didn't think he was
- 25:26>> But he was a light heavyweight who
- 25:27fought everybody. He was tough as nails.
- 25:29I played with him in Florida. He was a
- 25:31great dude,
- 25:32>> but he got in so many fights that it cut
- 25:34his career really short.
- 25:35>> Yeah, dude. Taking punches, too.
- 25:38>> Yeah. And it's tough like he he wasn't
- 25:39big. And so he's fighting guys like
- 25:42Twister, Proby, Grimson. Like
- 25:45>> that [ __ ] wears on you.
- 25:46>> What a horrible.
- 25:47>> Well, that's like that's like Jamal
- 25:48Mayor. And God loved Jamal. I tell you
- 25:51what, he extended his career another
- 25:53freaking seven or eight years cuz he
- 25:55wasn't a fighter when he started. He
- 25:57wasn't a heavyweight when he ended, but
- 25:59he realized that he was going to be a
- 26:01fourth. And that that dude could skate.
- 26:04Yeah, that guy
- 26:06was when you you could hear him coming
- 26:09and you turn around.
- 26:10>> Strong as a moose too. Powerful and a
- 26:13good player.
- 26:14>> But he extended his career. Known your
- 26:16niche. He found his niche there. He's
- 26:18and he stayed around. He knew he like I
- 26:20said I knew I was getting beat and I
- 26:22knew but I was going out there to do it
- 26:24because there's nobody else there to do
- 26:25it.
- 26:26>> He found a spot.
- 26:27>> He was able to get in and hit like
- 26:29>> Oh, he could hit.
- 26:30>> You got to get move be mobile. Like you
- 26:31got to [ __ ] it's a skill to hit guys.
- 26:33Like it's not like going there. You have
- 26:35to be able to get your angle down.
- 26:37>> Jammer Jammer called me on my first
- 26:39training camp. It was his second
- 26:40training camp and right off the bat he
- 26:42came up to me and he's like, "Let's go."
- 26:44So we went after it.
- 26:45>> How did that go? I'm going to look up.
- 26:48>> Look it up. I hit him with a few lefts
- 26:50and he down he went. But then I fell on
- 26:52top of his hip. He he landed on his hip.
- 26:55He always tells everybody that I was the
- 26:56one that was laying on the ice after,
- 26:58but I hit him with some lifts. He went
- 27:00down and I landed I landed on him like
- 27:03straddle and and busted my balls. So I
- 27:06had a little bit of like
- 27:06>> you owned him.
- 27:07>> So I was like, "Oh." So I was laying
- 27:09there for a second.
- 27:09>> One slipped out, got into the cup and
- 27:11split him in half.
- 27:12>> I got to pump up this so all y'all out
- 27:14there know like Losi ain't easy to deal
- 27:16with on ice
- 27:18>> cuz he's big, he's strong, and he can
- 27:21throw a [ __ ] bolt down the pipe.
- 27:23>> What the [ __ ]
- 27:24>> Just to be clear, you're taking the W on
- 27:26that one.
- 27:27>> Tony.
- 27:27>> All right.
- 27:28>> All right. Let's make sure we mark that.
- 27:29>> Mark that. Let's have Jammer on here. He
- 27:31can verify.
- 27:32>> Jammer's actually calling in.
- 27:35>> We all know.
- 27:37>> So, I got to tell a quick story. I don't
- 27:38know if you guys have ever heard this.
- 27:39Sup, you were on the team at the time.
- 27:42Um, it was Twister was on the team. We
- 27:44were in Chicago and Chicago had Proby,
- 27:48Mark Jansen, Dave Manson, like they had
- 27:51four or five legitimate guys and they
- 27:53had Doug Gilmore. Y
- 27:54>> and Doug Gilmore cuts across the blue
- 27:56line in the
- 27:59second period and I crush him. Put him
- 28:02out of the game.
- 28:03>> I wasn't trying to hurt Doug Gilmore. It
- 28:05just happened.
- 28:07>> Okay.
- 28:08>> Right.
- 28:09>> So highlighter.
- 28:12>> It was a great hit. It wasn't.
- 28:14>> Fast forward to the third period.
- 28:16There's an offside call outside of our
- 28:18blue line. It's United Center and so
- 28:20it's right in front of the bench and
- 28:22Joel Krenville's the coach, whatnot. and
- 28:23I'm on the ice with Craig Conroy, Scott
- 28:26Pellerin and Blair Ainham and I think
- 28:28Bie
- 28:32was my partner. All of a sudden, Probert
- 28:35Jansson's Manson,
- 28:37>> they all come over the boards. I'm like,
- 28:38"Oh god,
- 28:39>> they're going to" and they're I looking
- 28:41at me like foam in their mouth. I'm
- 28:42like, "Oh, [ __ ] I'm dead." Like, I'm
- 28:44dead. There's no getting out of this
- 28:45one.
- 28:46>> So, they win the face off. They go D. I
- 28:48think was it Rob Zetler or Smolk? One of
- 28:51those guys. rips it in to put it in my
- 28:53corner, but he shoots it in the bench.
- 28:55Our bench. So I'm like, "Yes." I look
- 28:58over at like Q and I'm like, "Okay."
- 29:00Like, "You're changing here, right?"
- 29:01Like, "You're not." Leaves me on the
- 29:03[ __ ] ice.
- 29:05>> And I'm like, "Oh, fuck." So I'm like,
- 29:06"Okay." So I'm in my head. I'm
- 29:08contemplating who am I going to just go
- 29:10straight after because like get it over.
- 29:12I don't want Proby.
- 29:13>> No. And down
- 29:14>> this guy here. Then you see a stick come
- 29:16off the bench and he pulls Scott Pelerin
- 29:18over the boards. He crawls over the
- 29:20boards and gets on the ice and he stands
- 29:22up and goes, "Which one of you guys
- 29:24wants to [ __ ] fight?"
- 29:26>> And nobody even made eye contact. And
- 29:29this is when Twister had a real good run
- 29:31against Proby for a while. And this was
- 29:32one of those moments in time. And nobody
- 29:35like said anything. So he goes, "All
- 29:36right, let's play some hockey then." And
- 29:38my balls grew 10 times the size of what
- 29:41they were. I could barely fit them in my
- 29:43pants after the game.
- 29:45>> He saved you.
- 29:45>> Of course he did. Oh,
- 29:47>> well at least Q had enough intention. He
- 29:49It was me pulling P.
- 29:51>> Yeah.
- 29:51>> And Q, this is before Q really knew the
- 29:54role. Like to leave you out there. Oh
- 29:55god.
- 29:56>> I mean, you might as well maybe radio
- 29:58right now. You should stutter. You
- 30:00should all five of the guys would
- 30:02Everybody would be It would have been
- 30:03like the hands. It would have been the
- 30:05hands.
- 30:05>> Who was your D partner?
- 30:07>> Burgers. I was okay. Burgers would have
- 30:08helped me,
- 30:09>> right?
- 30:09>> Yeah, he would have grabbed.
- 30:10>> He's strong, big guy. Like he was like,
- 30:11you know, he so much fight there
- 30:14>> when you got the monster. Oh yeah. After
- 30:16that I was like, "Yeah, what's
- 30:19on your team there?" I was waiting for
- 30:21the story. I'm like, "Oh yeah, he's
- 30:23there." Like, "You're okay."
- 30:24>> Oh, [ __ ] Yeah.
- 30:25>> You know, Quinnville's not taking you
- 30:26off.
- 30:27>> Well, he was pay whether he wanted me to
- 30:29to pay my freight or whether he was
- 30:31unaware what he was.
- 30:33>> Just unaware.
- 30:33>> And I was like, "Holy crap, guys." Like
- 30:36>> unaware.
- 30:36>> But it worked out. It was fine.
- 30:38>> All right. He should have sent you he
- 30:39should have sent Chopper out for you.
- 30:43>> Yeah. That's why you and Bersie are out
- 30:45because there's nobody else they wanted
- 30:46to spare on the bench. That's a good
- 30:47thing.
- 30:47>> That's a good point.
- 30:48>> Cuz Al was my partner for the most part.
- 30:50>> That's right.
- 30:51>> And this time I found myself on a pod.
- 30:53He won't do it, man. Like
- 30:55>> Al's interesting guy
- 30:57>> like in the organization. One of them
- 30:59like we let me just sit talk to you for
- 31:02an hour and a half.
- 31:02>> I have got a question for your boys.
- 31:04What is the best chirp that that you
- 31:07were that not one that you heard the
- 31:09best chirp that you've ever heard when
- 31:13you were playing? Whether it be at you
- 31:15or somebody else. The
- 31:16>> best chirp that I ever heard was I was
- 31:18skating by the other team's bench and
- 31:20one guy yelled, "Hey, does your coach
- 31:22know you're on the ice?"
- 31:25>> Oh, wow. The best chirp I ever got
- 31:28wasn't from a player. It was from, you
- 31:31know, that guy in LA that sits behind
- 31:34the benches.
- 31:34>> Yeah. Irritating.
- 31:36>> He I got on the ice at one point or no,
- 31:40I came back off a shift and he goes,
- 31:42"Rivers, what are you doing?" And I'm
- 31:44like, "What is this?" HE GOES, "GET BACK
- 31:46ON THE ICE. YOU'RE OUR BEST PLAYER."
- 31:51>> I WAS LIKE, "THAT'S PRETTY GOOD." the
- 31:54best chirp I ever heard where Johnny K
- 31:57was with me in Quebec and we're in the
- 31:59the new
- 32:00>> John Cordic.
- 32:00>> John Yeah, Johnny Cordic in the new
- 32:02Montreal forum and it's but right
- 32:05there's going to be a it's a TV timeout
- 32:07and the the faceoff is right in front of
- 32:11our bench and Stefon Ree, you know, he's
- 32:14stepping in and it's quiet. Okay, it's
- 32:17quiet and Johnny now it's not on TV yet
- 32:21because they they're still on TV
- 32:22timeout. He goes, "I can still see the
- 32:24Vaseline on your ass where your
- 32:25boyfriend touched you last night."
- 32:28>> And it rang. You could hear people were
- 32:31laughing. We can hear the crowd laughing
- 32:33and everybody in the Montreal bench is,
- 32:37you know, and I'm laughing. And Reese
- 32:40goes out there and he does the face off
- 32:42and Johnny's chirping him and nobody on
- 32:44the Montreal bench. They didn't have
- 32:45anybody. This is me and Johnny K.
- 32:48>> And and I stand up. I go, "Nobody,
- 32:51>> nobody." No reverse. Was it Mario
- 32:52reverse?
- 32:53>> No. No. No. There was nobody.
- 32:55>> I saw it.
- 32:56>> And I'm I'm looking at the other bench
- 32:57going, "Anybody? No. Nothing. That's
- 32:59embarrassing." And that was it.
- 33:01>> The other day on YouTube about Johnny
- 33:03Cord.
- 33:04>> Oh, yeah. His life and what he went
- 33:05through and his passing and whatnot.
- 33:07It's really interesting. You look it up
- 33:09on YouTube.
- 33:10>> Oh, there's more than one. There's more
- 33:11than one. And I lived I lived a year of
- 33:13that. It was a pretty
- 33:14>> I know a bunch of guys who played with
- 33:15him and against him. And yeah, he was he
- 33:17was he had it rough, man. He he, you
- 33:19know, he Yeah, he did.
- 33:20>> He was a charismatic,
- 33:22energetic, super funny. He was quick. I
- 33:25tell you what, he was fast. He had
- 33:27jokes.
- 33:28>> He was quick. He just did not like his
- 33:29job.
- 33:30>> He did. I was going to say he actually
- 33:31hated the fighting, which drove him to
- 33:33all his other problems.
- 33:34>> And his father and his father drove him
- 33:36into the ditch. I mean, just hate just
- 33:38father killed him all the time. Just
- 33:41>> disintegrated him for what he was doing.
- 33:43And Johnny just he loved being in the
- 33:44dressing room.
- 33:45>> Johnny could shoot a puck, man.
- 33:46>> He didn't like fighting. Could he have
- 33:48played too without fighting? Was he a
- 33:49good player?
- 33:50>> Well, not that good.
- 33:51>> He won a Memorial Cup. He won a [ __ ]
- 33:52another thing. He won the Calder Cup.
- 33:54Then he won a Stanley Cup. He was a part
- 33:56of all that. Like he's a winner.
- 33:58>> And he was like just getting he really
- 34:00did. He won all this. He put a point
- 34:02looking up.
- 34:03>> Problem is though at the NHL level, he
- 34:04couldn't skate good enough or handle the
- 34:06puck good enough. Now, if you got him to
- 34:08puck, he could shoot the damn thing.
- 34:10>> Little lefty.
- 34:11>> Lefty, but he could throw both. And he
- 34:12could eat a punch, too. And he was he
- 34:14was half crazy cuz he wanted it to be
- 34:16over. so fast that he'd do anything he
- 34:18possibly could to end it.
- 34:20>> Well, he was good enough to do this over
- 34:22the course of his of his career and all
- 34:24these different teams. He crashed six
- 34:26cars, five of them Corvettes. Yeah.
- 34:29>> He didn't show he didn't show up to four
- 34:31games.
- 34:32>> No, not not practices, games where he
- 34:35didn't show. One of them was in Quebec.
- 34:37>> Uh he had he you know missed home game.
- 34:40>> Miss Yeah. Missed a home game. He missed
- 34:42more than just one. And he got a fight
- 34:45with his coach. literally a fight and
- 34:47but he was invited back so he had
- 34:49something
- 34:50>> that every team wanted
- 34:51>> had something
- 34:52>> he had something
- 34:53>> and you know it was
- 34:55>> he won everywhere man
- 34:56>> yeah that's what I'm saying he was
- 34:57wherever it may be but
- 34:58>> it's tough how do you guys feel about
- 35:00that because you guys fought way more
- 35:02than supy and I obviously and like how
- 35:06do you feel about seeing guys that you
- 35:08know that struggle and [ __ ] like that
- 35:10like I'm not I'm not trying to be heavy
- 35:12duty here but like at the same time you
- 35:14look at the fighting majors
- 35:16across the board in this in in this room
- 35:17here with you guys and it's like I I
- 35:20like there's guys that I know that I see
- 35:22now that went through some tough times
- 35:23and it's like sometimes it's hard for me
- 35:26to digest and we've all had our own
- 35:27battles and you know I'm sure at some
- 35:29point we'll open up about some of that
- 35:31on here but like how
- 35:33>> much time we got.
- 35:34>> Yeah. And well that's what I'm saying
- 35:35like it's some we'll get there.
- 35:37>> I'm not trying to shoehorn it in today
- 35:39personal
- 35:40>> just Yeah. like the Boguards, the Bug
- 35:42Guards to the I mean and just
- 35:45you know like all that stuff
- 35:46>> and even the guys that you know Darren
- 35:48Mccard's gone through some tough times.
- 35:50I mean
- 35:50>> talk about a great dude by the way.
- 35:52>> Super super nice guy.
- 35:53>> How about how about Joey Murf? Joey
- 35:56>> Joey Murf he now there's a now he's gone
- 35:58he still is you know having some tough
- 36:00time.
- 36:01>> Did I tell you guys I talked to him?
- 36:03>> So there was a cop way up in Port Hiron
- 36:07or whatever some way northern Ontario.
- 36:09He followed me on like Twitter and he
- 36:12like messaged me at one point and was
- 36:13like, "Hey, I know where Joe Murphy is."
- 36:16And I was like, "Okay, whatever." He
- 36:19sends me a picture of Joe Murphy who's
- 36:22sleeping outside the gas station
- 36:23underneath the sign.
- 36:25>> And I'm like, "Oh my god." He goes,
- 36:26"Yeah." He goes, "Next time I go up
- 36:28there, if he's there," he goes, "Do you
- 36:29want me to call you?" And that I'm like,
- 36:31"Yeah." I mean, Murf and I were we were
- 36:34friends here. And uh Jojo Jojo dancing,
- 36:38baby. I got a great Jojo story. You
- 36:40remember the one from the Rangers?
- 36:42>> Oh my god. Madison Square Garden.
- 36:44>> So yeah, you were there. Yeah. Um
- 36:46>> anyway, so he calls me and it's Joe on
- 36:49the other end and like no it be Joe and
- 36:51I were pretty tight and it'd be like if
- 36:53you called me I'd be like what's up Cam
- 36:56like times are tough. I'm like Jojo
- 36:58Dancer and he's like hey Jamie how are
- 37:00you? I'm like okay. I'm like good man.
- 37:03He goes yeah. He goes hey I always
- 37:04thought you were a really good player.
- 37:05You were an excellent teammate. like the
- 37:07wiring was just off a little bit like
- 37:10>> well that at that time he was being he
- 37:12was no not as much as he was being
- 37:14bothered. Joe was a very intelligent
- 37:16man.
- 37:16>> Yes.
- 37:17>> And he did what he wanted to do when he
- 37:18wanted to do it. Meaning that the NHLPA
- 37:21stepped in tried to to give him a hand
- 37:22and got him a room and he just abandoned
- 37:24that. And then the documentary I don't
- 37:26know if you've seen that little
- 37:27documentary
- 37:28>> his he just
- 37:29>> I was in the beginning with I know you
- 37:30were West Ted or whatever. He called me
- 37:33and I was like telling him about Joe and
- 37:34told him where he was.
- 37:35>> That same gas station is there was the
- 37:37one
- 37:37>> Trevor kid called me and then Trevor Kid
- 37:40drove up to see Joe.
- 37:41>> It was the same gas station too by the
- 37:42way.
- 37:43>> Really? We Glenn Healey was involved.
- 37:45Heels and Heels we talked and he'll call
- 37:48me. He goes Rivs. He goes we put him up
- 37:50at a hotel. We tried to set him up to
- 37:52get a job or some training or like
- 37:53whatever. And he's like he just left the
- 37:55middle of the night. He's like went back
- 37:56like
- 37:57>> didn't want it. We have a a about three
- 38:00or four years ago, I guess it wasn't me,
- 38:02three years ago, uh couple guys that
- 38:05were more minor league guys um reached
- 38:07out to me and they started this kind of
- 38:10a compassion call. You you Cam was on
- 38:13it. They've been wanting to get you on
- 38:14for a while. I need to hook that up. But
- 38:16I I haven't been on as much lately just
- 38:18cuz my events and stuff have been so
- 38:20much busier. But it was really good and
- 38:22and and I was in a time where I needed
- 38:24to to to have the guys around and there
- 38:27some nights there'd be four or five of
- 38:28us on there, some nights there would be
- 38:2915 of us on there and we just talk about
- 38:31the days and and all like guys that like
- 38:35older than you that are on this call and
- 38:37younger than me and uh it's just a
- 38:40really cool place for these guys to go.
- 38:41Guys have talked on
- 38:43>> So what where do the guys find this? If
- 38:44say for example somebody's watching
- 38:46this, what do they do? Yeah. So, they uh
- 38:48uh reach out to the PHPA. Um um Chuck,
- 38:52and I'm drawing a blank on
- 38:56>> uh
- 38:56>> the PHPA.
- 38:57>> Yeah. Yeah. The That's who's this this
- 39:00pro this uh I can't believe Chuck's
- 39:02going to Don't air this cuz he's going
- 39:03to [ __ ]
- 39:05>> um What's Chuck's last name? He's the
- 39:07one that puts it on. Anyways, he was a
- 39:08goalie back in the day.
- 39:10>> Thus, Chuck Fuss. Yep, that's what it
- 39:12is. Sorry. Will
- 39:14>> right here. Chuck Fuss headed that
- 39:17properly. Uh great guy starts it all. He
- 39:20has a he has a business where he does
- 39:23helps athletes and and this was a big
- 39:25thing for him. We had a guy that's got
- 39:27his master's degree in gratitude. Uh he
- 39:30came on and talked for about 15 or 15 20
- 39:33minutes uh just about that and guys get
- 39:36a chance to just tell their story and
- 39:37just kind of get it out and have a place
- 39:39to go dump it. And we've there's
- 39:41probably somewhere in the neighborhood
- 39:43of pro hockey players both NHL and minor
- 39:45leagues in the last 10 years. We've got
- 39:4840 or 45 guys that have committed
- 39:49suicide. And so this whole call was like
- 39:52there's something out there. We can help
- 39:54you. We'll try and do something like
- 39:56even if it's just a brotherhood or or a
- 39:58safe place every Wednesday at 6:00 for
- 40:00you to go. So it's it's a tough
- 40:02situation. And I know like for me, you
- 40:04asked the question, for me coming out of
- 40:06hockey, like I retired because I didn't
- 40:09want to do it anymore. I just didn't
- 40:10want to fight. I broke my jaw. I had a
- 40:11plate and four screws in my chin. It was
- 40:13just a different there was just a
- 40:15different feeling. I was played four or
- 40:18five years in the NHL and then I was
- 40:19back up and down in the minors and I'm
- 40:20like 31 years old. I'm like, what am I
- 40:22doing here? Like I've already made the
- 40:24NHL. I got the rest of my life. I'm just
- 40:26going to go. Had no school, no job. I
- 40:28just quit. started selling real estate
- 40:29and and thank goodness I got on with
- 40:31Richie Brothers about four months later
- 40:33and I had a team. It was an event-
- 40:36driven business. So, I was very lucky to
- 40:38get put in a situation where they
- 40:40brought me in and I had teammates again.
- 40:43And a lot of these guys, they don't have
- 40:44that. And and a lot of them, they don't
- 40:47have anything else other than hockey.
- 40:50And we love our teammates so much that
- 40:52we just fight all the time. And you
- 40:54can't get that outside the game in most
- 40:56cases.
- 40:57of these guys. They'll fight their way
- 40:59all the way through till they're 35, 36,
- 41:0137, 38 in the AHL or in the East Coast
- 41:03League and
- 41:04>> that's all they know.
- 41:05>> Without that value, would you have been
- 41:06where you're at? Because you four months
- 41:08you got attached to a team.
- 41:10>> Yeah.
- 41:10>> Without that, what would have happened?
- 41:12>> Yeah. I I'm not sure. It probably
- 41:13wouldn't have been probably wouldn't
- 41:14have been good.
- 41:15>> So, the importance of these guys making
- 41:16a call and joining in because that could
- 41:18be the that could that could be the line
- 41:20>> 100%. And guys are like, man, like
- 41:22they've been on it. They're religious to
- 41:24it now and they're like this hotline,
- 41:27this call with these other former tough
- 41:30guys. And there's guys on there that
- 41:31aren't tough guys, too. Um that just
- 41:33have to be to go through some crap.
- 41:35>> No, you sure you sure don't.
- 41:36>> That's for sure.
- 41:36>> So, it's it's for anybody that played
- 41:38pro hockey. It's a And we had one guy
- 41:40that unfortunately went and took some
- 41:43stories outside and, you know, he got
- 41:44kicked out of the group and wasn't
- 41:46allowed back in because
- 41:47>> Oh, really?
- 41:47>> And things have to stay in house. It's
- 41:50like guys are guys are pouring stuff out
- 41:53that we don't want to go out and start
- 41:54talking around and so uh but there's
- 41:56guys that are just like man if I didn't
- 41:58have this I don't know where I'd be. So
- 41:59it's a cool thing.
- 42:00>> Well it's tough right because and you
- 42:03try two things about this one as as
- 42:06hockey players whether you're a fighter
- 42:08or just a player or you block shots or
- 42:10whatever it is or you score goals
- 42:12there's pressure to score goals. You're
- 42:14taught your whole life to ignore like
- 42:17not to have feelings. Like you can't be
- 42:20hurt, play hurt, play through the pain,
- 42:22don't cry about it, don't tell the
- 42:23trainers, all this stuff because maybe
- 42:26you won't play. Maybe the coach will
- 42:27think you're a [ __ ] or maybe whatever
- 42:29your teammates think you're a [ __ ] And
- 42:31so you're wired. And this is what I
- 42:32found in my postc career life, which by
- 42:35the way is quite a [ __ ] adventure.
- 42:37But um no doubt I never really wanted to
- 42:40reach out to him because it was a sign
- 42:41of weakness. Like I'm not a [ __ ] like
- 42:43I don't I I can get through this. Let me
- 42:44I'll just battle through it. Like, you
- 42:45know, I'll find a way. Well, we're not
- 42:48equipped with the tools, which leads me
- 42:49back to point number two is since I was
- 42:52four years old, I've been playing
- 42:53hockey. That's it. I don't have I I've
- 42:56had other jobs like pumping gas in the
- 42:58summer, but my job was hockey. So when
- 43:02you leave the game at whatever it is,
- 43:0430, 35, 40, what, whatever you're lucky
- 43:07to hang on to, you really, for the most
- 43:10part, guys don't have life skills.
- 43:13Meaning like to step into an office,
- 43:15we're for lack of better words, we're
- 43:17barbarians.
- 43:19>> And so you put us into a corporate
- 43:21corporate America, who the [ __ ] is this
- 43:23guy? You know, like it just the wiring
- 43:25is not the same. Now that flip side of
- 43:28that is the wiring that we do have is
- 43:31got tremendous value
- 43:33>> to certain places in the corporate world
- 43:35because we're so competitive. We're team
- 43:38oriented, disciplined,
- 43:40>> you know, all of that stuff. It
- 43:42translates, but it takes a while
- 43:44>> to get there and some guys don't get
- 43:46there.
- 43:46>> Some guys aren't afforded that
- 43:48opportunity,
- 43:49>> man. Like I live a good life, dude. Like
- 43:52doing what we did was hardcore. fighting
- 43:55guys, getting concussed, but god we live
- 43:58a good life, man.
- 43:59>> Oh, yeah. Station, everybody talks.
- 44:01>> But that's because you were able to
- 44:03figure it out, man.
- 44:03>> Figured it out, man.
- 44:04>> You got into radio. You got into your
- 44:06other podcast. Like all of that stuff.
- 44:08You figured it out. Subie got into
- 44:10>> You got to be nice to people.
- 44:11>> Yeah. Don't be a [ __ ]
- 44:13>> Sie got into St. Louis.
- 44:15>> Subie had his building knocked over.
- 44:18>> Good in St. Louis.
- 44:19>> But Subie built, you know, restaurants
- 44:21and bars. He's always been doing stuff.
- 44:23Twister and did the bars and then got
- 44:26into the windshield business which has
- 44:28been awesome for him.
- 44:30>> Can I tell you though that the the most
- 44:32difficult part about that is the trans
- 44:34the transition because sympathy and
- 44:36empathy are non-existent. No
- 44:39>> and and there just it's just not and the
- 44:42what's traumatic for people that you
- 44:44know what's traumatic to you. I'm
- 44:46looking I go put a bandage on it man I
- 44:49just can't hear it. I mean I mean
- 44:51seriously but it doesn't translate well
- 44:53in today's world because it doesn't
- 44:55translate well but I mean sometimes they
- 44:58put a bandage on it fits but you can't
- 44:59be like that and the lack of empathy
- 45:02sympathy and just the cuz it it's that
- 45:05so hardwired it's the to
- 45:09take that out is really difficult and
- 45:12I'm still doing it
- 45:12>> and to comprehend other people right so
- 45:15my brother who played pro hockey
- 45:17fortunate to play some games in Tampa we
- 45:19always talk about it like general
- 45:21population and and it's not that we're
- 45:24better just our lives have been
- 45:26different just like the military their
- 45:27life has been different police like
- 45:28everybody has a different story a
- 45:31different way of living and so he my
- 45:34brother's a successful businessman now
- 45:36but like when he started getting into it
- 45:38like he'd have employees call in like
- 45:40I've got a bit of a headache I can't
- 45:41come to work today and he's like are
- 45:43what like are you out of your mind you
- 45:46know like so the the comprehension of
- 45:48other people going through whatever
- 45:49whatever they're going through. Like
- 45:51we're like, "What? Don't tell me about
- 45:53it. I don't want to know you're hurt,
- 45:54you're sick, or you're not feeling well.
- 45:56Just get to work and do your damn job."
- 45:59>> That's not exactly the way general
- 46:01population
- 46:03>> businesses hire ex-military and ex
- 46:06professional athletes because you have
- 46:07to go through that
- 46:08>> and you're like, I I'll get up at 4:30.
- 46:11I I'll get up every [ __ ] morning. The
- 46:12two number one things
- 46:14>> whatever
- 46:14>> when you talk to big corporate people or
- 46:17smart businessmen when they look at
- 46:19former athletes in general let's just
- 46:21keep it to hockey players right now they
- 46:23look at it and they have like three
- 46:24categories one coachable
- 46:26>> coachable they can take direction
- 46:28without being buttth hurt
- 46:30>> two super competitive they want to win
- 46:33or set make the sale or you build the
- 46:35best place they can three it's teamwork
- 46:37they know how to work within a group to
- 46:39not piss off everybody around them and
- 46:41they know how to pull their And those
- 46:43are three major things
- 46:44>> and those are
- 46:45>> that anybody's looking for
- 46:46>> when I when I when I was showing Richie
- 46:48Brothers property because that's how I
- 46:50met the guys at Richie Brothers. It was
- 46:51like a four-month process and I didn't
- 46:53even know they were looking at me to get
- 46:54a job. And so I ended up showing them
- 46:57the wrong property and oopsies. It was
- 47:01so embarrassing.
- 47:03>> It was so embarrassing. I didn't really
- 47:04know Illinois. I'd only been in the real
- 47:06estate industry for 4 months. I really
- 47:08had not really been in Illinois. And
- 47:10over on the Illinois side, 255 touches
- 47:13Route Three twice. And there's two
- 47:15little there's two little shells there.
- 47:17And and I'm sitting there and I got this
- 47:19the vice president of Richie Brothers
- 47:21and the senior vice president of Richie
- 47:22Brothers and they're looking at the map
- 47:24and Nick Nicholson's in the back. He's
- 47:25like, "Well, Reed,
- 47:27>> oh,
- 47:28>> I don't think this is the right
- 47:29property." And I'm like, "Oh, like
- 47:31this." And I'm like, "Well, how do you
- 47:32know?" He's like, "Well, it just doesn't
- 47:33look right on the map. Plus, there's not
- 47:35a for sale sign anywhere on the
- 47:37property." I was like, "Oh my gosh, I
- 47:40can't even believe this is happening."
- 47:42>> You were able to turn that into a job.
- 47:44But this plan works.
- 47:45>> Hold on. Let me let me let me get to it.
- 47:47So I I go, "Oh, I think I got it." So I
- 47:50end we drive to the right property and
- 47:51then we're going back and there's a sale
- 47:53the next day and they always have a
- 47:54customer dinner and I'm like, "I am
- 47:56fired. I am fired. I am fired. I want to
- 47:59crawl under the steering wheel." So I go
- 48:01back there. We're almost to Fesus cuz
- 48:02that's where our old uh Richie Brothers
- 48:04was. And they're like, "Hey Reed, uh
- 48:06we're going out with the customers. we'd
- 48:08really like you to join us. I'm like,
- 48:09"Oh, call my wife. I'm like, hey, I got
- 48:11to go put on some smileys. I got to go.
- 48:13The personality's got to come out cuz
- 48:14I'm THE SHITTIEST REAL ESTATE AGENT on
- 48:16the planet." You know,
- 48:17>> parlay it.
- 48:18>> So, we did it. We get I get there the
- 48:20next morning. We had a fun time. I get
- 48:21there the next morning at 7:00 cuz
- 48:23that's after their their meetings or
- 48:24whatever. And I'm talking to them like,
- 48:25"Hey guys, I'm going to go out and look
- 48:26at some more properties on the on the on
- 48:29the other side. Make sure I get the
- 48:30right ones or whatever." So anyways,
- 48:32that next we go back after next morning
- 48:35he asked me, "Can you meet me at the gas
- 48:36station at 6:00?" Why do you meet me at
- 48:39S? Well, at Richie Brothers on our
- 48:41sales, we have to be there at 6:00 in
- 48:42the morning. So, we wanted to see if I
- 48:43could get up at 6:00 in the morning and
- 48:45meet him.
- 48:46>> Go see all these properties that I
- 48:48looked at the day before we're driving
- 48:49back. He's like, "So, uh, we decided
- 48:52that we're not going to give you a
- 48:53commission on this and instead we're
- 48:54going to give you a job." I go, "What
- 48:56are you talking about?" He's like, "We
- 48:58just we just think you'd be a great
- 48:59addition to the team." And I'm standing
- 49:01there talking to him. I said like, "What
- 49:02does that thing over there do?" And they
- 49:04start laughing. They're like, "Don't
- 49:05ever do that." And then I did it all the
- 49:06time to MY CUSTOMERS. I EXPLAIN THE
- 49:08STORY, RIGHT? BECAUSE,
- 49:09>> you know, we got one of those things.
- 49:10>> So, I ended up I end up becoming
- 49:12literally an expert in equipment cuz I
- 49:14just become obsessed with it. Why did
- 49:15you ever and and I'll tell you like uh
- 49:18it was something there where Nick
- 49:20Nicholson um who was like literally like
- 49:22fourth in the company. I said, "Why do
- 49:24you want to hire me? Like I have no
- 49:26sales experience. I have no education. I
- 49:27haven't even graduated from high
- 49:29school." He said, "Well, first off," he
- 49:30said, "number one, you got more sales
- 49:32experience than you give yourself credit
- 49:33for. You've been selling yourself at the
- 49:35highest level hockey, and you made it
- 49:37all the way up there." He said, "And
- 49:38number two, we don't need you to have
- 49:39any experience because we bring these
- 49:41guys in from these CAT dealers that
- 49:42think they know everything. We've got
- 49:44you green as the day is long, and we get
- 49:46to teach you. It's going to take us 24
- 49:48to 36 months to teach you how to do
- 49:50this." and uh we just think you more
- 49:53than important than anything is like
- 49:54you've showed us over the last four
- 49:56months that you have the relationship
- 49:57skills needed to go out and sell this
- 49:59and I'm like all right let's go. So, I
- 50:01had to go to Canada, Vancouver, and all
- 50:03hockey fans up there at the Richie
- 50:04Brothers headquarters. And I had to go
- 50:06through the gauntlet and see the CEO,
- 50:08all the presidents, all the everybody.
- 50:10And the president of Richie Brothers at
- 50:12the time was like, "This is a stupid
- 50:13idea. You're hiring some ex hockey
- 50:15player." He was so not on board with it.
- 50:17Well, we had a thing kind of our
- 50:19representation was gross auction
- 50:21proceeds. So, how much millions did Reed
- 50:23bring? Well, they wanted me to do three
- 50:24million. My first year at Richie
- 50:26Brothers, I did 14. I won rookie of the
- 50:28year for the entire United States. And
- 50:31the president that didn't have my back
- 50:33or was wanted me to get not get the job
- 50:35sent me an email that that January and
- 50:37said,
- 50:38>> "You proved us wrong, kid. We love you."
- 50:40And then by six, seven years later, I
- 50:42was running the entire Midwest. We were
- 50:43doing $90 million in five. You played in
- 50:46the NHL for [ __ ] 10 years. You beat
- 50:48the [ __ ] out of people. Go [ __ ] have
- 50:50confidence.
- 50:51>> It was awesome. They were looking at you
- 50:52differently, man. See, that's the thing.
- 50:54>> It was such a good team. It was the
- 50:56greatest thing that could have ever
- 50:57happened to me. I I love my Richie
- 50:59Brothers days. Those guys were so
- 51:01awesome. It got a little corporate.
- 51:03>> I end up moving on. Spent three years at
- 51:05the Cat dealership, which was really,
- 51:07really awesome. And then after that, I
- 51:08thought, I'm just going to go be an
- 51:09auctioneer. It's for fun.
- 51:11>> Ribs, you mentioned three things. The
- 51:13one thing that anybody else may or may
- 51:17not have is the opportunity to mix with
- 51:20a cult of personalities. So when you're
- 51:22traveling on the road, you're you're
- 51:24hobbing. You're rubbing shoulders with
- 51:26who's who. You're you're you're you have
- 51:28to be socially responsible when you're
- 51:32in these rooms and you're presented all
- 51:34these great opportunities. You can make
- 51:36the best or make the worst of them, but
- 51:37you're presented in so many different
- 51:39rooms where you're rubbing shoulders
- 51:41with CEOs, actors, athletes. Well, that
- 51:44cult of personality as you watch or
- 51:47you're in a group and you're able to see
- 51:49how other people navigate. Well, those
- 51:51are opportunities of of of a cult of
- 51:53personality mixing that not somebody
- 51:55else is going to get. And over the
- 51:57course of those years, that is what gets
- 51:58you hired because you you can navigate a
- 52:01room. You can see what you might not
- 52:03know what you're talking about, but you
- 52:04can still pick up the language and you
- 52:06can still put yourself in being quiet
- 52:08and you can pick up what and
- 52:10>> that's that's the advantage. He's 100%
- 52:13right because when you think about a
- 52:15hockey locker room, you could have a
- 52:18Russian, two checks, a Swedish guy, a
- 52:21Canadian, a French guy. Like you have
- 52:23all sorts of different backgrounds and
- 52:25personalities and things. You got you
- 52:28got to make sure you can blend within
- 52:29the group. You find your spot first of
- 52:31all, but then you got to be able to
- 52:33converse and get along and work with all
- 52:35these different personalities, cultural
- 52:38backgrounds, all [ __ ] So, like Twister
- 52:40said, somebody brings you into a room
- 52:42full of people. Most of the time, we
- 52:45kind of survey, we evaluate, and then we
- 52:47kind of know what we're dealing with. I
- 52:49mean, I don't know about you guys, but I
- 52:50can get into a room of people, and by 10
- 52:53minutes, 15 minutes in, I've kind of
- 52:55figured out what I'm dealing with. And
- 52:57then because we were able to work within
- 52:59different groups of our locker room,
- 53:00whether it was different coaches who had
- 53:02different style, I don't want to say you
- 53:03become a chameleon because that kind of
- 53:05like makes it sound, but you're able to
- 53:07adjust to the group and then still be
- 53:10yourself at the same time. And I think
- 53:12that's important for a lot of the
- 53:14business people is you need someone
- 53:15who's flexible but also knows who the
- 53:17hell they are. And if they're in sales
- 53:19or anything that you're driven at that
- 53:21point, you have to be able to read the
- 53:22room.
- 53:23>> And some people never read the room. We
- 53:26all had to figure [ __ ] out.
- 53:27>> Yeah.
- 53:27>> And you don't know everything.
- 53:29>> So remember that.
- 53:30>> That you got Okay.
- 53:31>> That was a good story though.
- 53:32>> How do you How do you read the room with
- 53:34that outfit on?
- 53:37>> What? My tuxedo.
- 53:38>> The room reads him.
- 53:40>> I don't know.
- 53:42>> You got to get You only have two, so
- 53:44we're going to have to get some more.
- 53:45>> Yeah, I'm working on a sponsor right
- 53:46now.
- 53:47>> You see how you see how he's doing this,
- 53:49right?
- 53:49>> I I want bright orange and black.
- 53:52>> Whatever it happens, we won't sponsor
- 53:53that.
- 53:54>> I won't do it.
- 53:56I I see what you I see what you're
- 53:57doing, which I think is is amazing.
- 53:59You're quietly sitting here
- 54:01>> and you're throwing your things back and
- 54:03forth and you don't have to put near as
- 54:05much in because that suit speaks so much
- 54:07for you.
- 54:07>> Speak for itself. Hanging out at the
- 54:09blue line right now.
- 54:11>> There you go.
- 54:11>> I'm on the way.
- 54:12>> See, that was that's your that's
- 54:14classic. You're hanging out in the blue
- 54:15line waiting for the pass and you're
- 54:17going to
- 54:18>> Hey, plenty more to come. By the way,
- 54:20all you guys out there that are
- 54:22listening right now, we're going to
- 54:23[ __ ] We're going to talk about all
- 54:24kinds of stuff. We got stories out the
- 54:26wazoo. I mean, they just popping our
- 54:27heads. So, appreciate appreciate you
- 54:29guys listening. This is episode two.
- 54:31This is Bare Knuckle Nation, by the way.
- 54:34We love all you guys. Wait for uh uh
- 54:37episode three coming out next week.
- 54:39>> Now, 10 now, 15 now. 20 25.
- 54:43Hey, uh love all y'all.
