- 0:49Speaker 1: And coming to life from Kenny's baseball apartment where the
- 0:53Speaker 1: guy next to me is still a two time Fantasy
- 0:56Speaker 1: football loser.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's sports a legend.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, welcome, Thank you all for joining us for
- 1:02Speaker 3: this episode of Sports Aleegi on this day, thirty of
- 1:07Speaker 3: December twenty twenty four, to be our last podcast of
- 1:09Speaker 3: this year of Our Lord twenty twenty four. Thanks for
- 1:13Speaker 3: joining us, Sorr, we missed you last week. Big holiday
- 1:16Speaker 3: events and plans and all kinds of stuff. Now if
- 1:19Speaker 3: you want to talk about fantasy real quick. I did
- 1:21Speaker 3: go from I think tenth last year to third, and
- 1:26Speaker 3: the person that looks like he's gonna win the championship
- 1:30Speaker 3: had a killer game last week. I scored one hundred
- 1:32Speaker 3: and fifty something points and he still beat me by forty.
- 1:35Speaker 3: He had almost two hundred, So anyway, I finished third. Currently,
- 1:40Speaker 3: Crestin and Daxton are our third member and he's he's
- 1:46Speaker 3: in the they're in the championship. I think Krestin needed
- 1:49Speaker 3: fifty five points tonight with Gibbs and golf, which is
- 1:52Speaker 3: not unheard of, but the way it's going right now.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Quick update on that game. Forty nine ers fourteen Lion sick.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Just started the second or six of the second quarter,
- 2:01Speaker 3: and it looks like Niners got.
- 2:02Speaker 4: The ball back.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Changed, just changed, Okay, so they just scored, so Detroit
- 2:08Speaker 3: will have the ball back. Looked like both offenses we're
- 2:12Speaker 3: looking like ships reopened the start.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So let's talk a little bit.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We've got to go through. We did miss Ricky Henderson.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we lost him. We lost Greg Gumble, h
- 2:25Speaker 1: for sure. You know the thing that I almost listening
- 2:28Speaker 1: to him well, of.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Course when we were younger, it was he was all football,
- 2:31Speaker 3: he was. But what I'll always remember is college basketball.
- 2:35Speaker 3: That is that was my favorite thing because you could
- 2:38Speaker 3: start at.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Eleven am on a Thursday.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And of course it's it's bumped up a little earlier
- 2:43Speaker 3: now because they do the playing.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Games, but it was always consistent.
- 2:46Speaker 3: You had Greg Gumble and Brian Clark kllogg, which is
- 2:51Speaker 3: my two favorite basketball people, and and you would you'd
- 2:55Speaker 3: start on Thursday. Of course you had Greg a lot
- 2:57Speaker 3: longer than Clark. But yeah, rest in peace. And I
- 3:01Speaker 3: thought the better sports guy than his.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Brother, to be honest, he was better. He was, I mean,
- 3:06Speaker 4: he was just more like then.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We also lost Jimmy Carter at one hundred, Yes, and
- 3:12Speaker 1: we lost the last surviving member of Pearl Harbor.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Really yeah, one hundred and five.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Did not know that he made it this year to
- 3:19Speaker 1: the commencement, he stood up and saluted.
- 3:22Speaker 3: No kidding, and then within thirty days was out. Well
- 3:26Speaker 3: that's awesome. I mean, not that he passed, but then
- 3:29Speaker 3: he got to make it.
- 3:30Speaker 2: He worked on standing up to salute. That is great.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So that was our our obituaries. I mean it went fast,
- 3:38Speaker 1: like I did not expect Ricky Henderson to go. I mean,
- 3:41Speaker 1: watching him play base.
- 3:42Speaker 3: That was just a that was a kind of a
- 3:45Speaker 3: sounds like a big surprise.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It was. It was a huge surprise for everybody.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So, uh, yeah, Kenny did improve the season on Fantasy football,
- 3:55Speaker 1: but he still fell short of the goal of having
- 3:59Speaker 1: his name on the play And.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I said, I I think I finished.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I think I.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Finished ninth instead of tenth.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Finished, it would be ninth because it didn't make the look,
- 4:08Speaker 3: I didn't make the playoffs.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I didn't make the playoffs, so we had less people
- 4:12Speaker 4: last year. I had ten, right, Okay, okay.
- 4:15Speaker 2: We had less people.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So you finished, Yes, you finished ninth, okay, eight, so
- 4:21Speaker 1: I moved You finished?
- 4:22Speaker 2: What my place would have.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Been gotcha this year?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:25Speaker 4: Yeah, so you went from first eight?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Not good. I still still I'm there. I'm still there.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Didn't rock the brock party this year.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I didn't get it. He was taken from me.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Uh but it was a free agent. Last week.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Well, I can't talk anybody up because some jackasses locked
- 4:41Speaker 1: my accountant. I'm not playing this week, although I still
- 4:44Speaker 1: get updates on my players.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Dumbest ship.
- 4:48Speaker 3: So where do you want to start? I mean I
- 4:50Speaker 3: always say the big news, we could talk about you
- 4:52Speaker 3: and their ship game.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Well, let's go ahead and do that last, because you're
- 4:55Speaker 2: gonna go off on a riant. Okay, we're just gonna
- 4:58Speaker 2: start about the playoffs. Yeah, we're gonna start with the
- 5:00Speaker 2: college football playoffs.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Let's talk about the Let's talk about the games that
- 5:04Speaker 3: had happened already that we talked about. Yeah, okay, So
- 5:07Speaker 3: Indianapolis or Indianapolis, Indiana Notre Dame twenty seven to seventeen final.
- 5:12Speaker 3: We both picked Notre Dame to win. It kind of
- 5:14Speaker 3: went as you would think. Indiana continued to make mistakes
- 5:18Speaker 3: in that game, pick twenty seven to seventy. Oh, I
- 5:22Speaker 3: picked twenty seven to twenty three and you picked thirty
- 5:24Speaker 3: eight twenty one.
- 5:25Speaker 4: That's pretty damn close.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah for me, So.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It kind of went as it that most would thought
- 5:35Speaker 3: defense played really well from Notre Dame. I mean, you've
- 5:38Speaker 3: got these these pundits now in the national media it's
- 5:41Speaker 3: Notre Dame is gonna make this big.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Rown Notre Dames legit this year. Yeah, they're out, I mean,
- 5:47Speaker 2: is the best.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Stop talking about them beating Georgia. Please please stop stop.
- 5:52Speaker 2: They can't back.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Maybe it's not gonna happen.
- 5:56Speaker 3: So anybody that sets out there and is ridiculous, and
- 5:58Speaker 3: I've seen some of them, I cannot believe. Why aren't
- 6:01Speaker 3: we getting paid more to do this, to talk to.
- 6:06Speaker 2: This on TV?
- 6:08Speaker 3: I think Notre Dame's going all the way. Really, Northern
- 6:12Speaker 3: Illinois beat them.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Stop.
- 6:14Speaker 4: They haven't improved that much.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And they almost got beat by USC. I remember USC
- 6:19Speaker 1: came back in that game.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And we'll talk about well before we get to you.
- 6:22Speaker 3: So we'll finish up on my playoff rant I might
- 6:25Speaker 3: have made it last, but I'm going to talk about
- 6:26Speaker 3: it again. That So Notre Dame Indiana made mistakes early
- 6:31Speaker 3: in the game and didn't do anything. They scored three
- 6:34Speaker 3: points at halftime. They did make it a little closer
- 6:37Speaker 3: than the second court or the fourth quarter.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It was just too late and Signetti uh not going
- 6:43Speaker 1: forward on the fourth down.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I really shot them in the foot to get.
- 6:48Speaker 3: You only make the playoff spoonts get give those extra points,
- 6:50Speaker 3: you make the playoffs wants. If they make it next year,
- 6:52Speaker 3: that's great, But this this, I think you go in
- 6:55Speaker 3: with a team like that, you go balls to the wall.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I mean, you gotta win it.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Okay, next game was a little surprising to me, and
- 7:03Speaker 3: I have not given Penn State the credit that maybe
- 7:07Speaker 3: I should, or or maybe SMU just didn't look ready
- 7:11Speaker 3: to play.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Obviously they threw a big zero at half time in that.
- 7:15Speaker 1: In that game, I expected SMU to have the same
- 7:18Speaker 1: troubles they had with Clemson, but fix it like they
- 7:22Speaker 1: did with Clemson, and you know, come back and win
- 7:27Speaker 1: or at least, you know, make it closer than thirty
- 7:29Speaker 1: eight to two.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Agree, I mean, and they and they had a little
- 7:34Speaker 3: bit of run in the end. But I mean, if
- 7:36Speaker 3: you go to the stat out of the box score
- 7:38Speaker 3: on that Sean, I mean Jennings was.
- 7:39Speaker 1: The top quarterback, but still at the same time, they
- 7:41Speaker 1: rattled his cage every play.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Well, and I think the defense I mean Alar wasn't.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I mean at QBR he was thirteen to twenty two.
- 7:49Speaker 3: But they don't have to do that. They just run
- 7:51Speaker 3: the ball exactly.
- 7:52Speaker 1: They have They still Franklin still brings in some of
- 7:56Speaker 1: the Franklin still brings in some of the best running backs.
- 8:00Speaker 1: This is why we're looking at Sakuon Barkleay having a resurgence.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and there was only one. There was only one
- 8:05Speaker 3: fumble though, Was there any other turnovers? See one fumbled?
- 8:09Speaker 3: He thrown picks Jimmings. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, that's right,
- 8:14Speaker 3: that's right. That was the one game I didn't watch.
- 8:17Speaker 2: A lot of.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, well, we both picked Penn State to win
- 8:22Speaker 3: twenty seven to seventeen. We actually had the same pick
- 8:25Speaker 3: on that game. So then Texas and Clemson both picked Texas.
- 8:31Speaker 2: The game, I mean.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Texas was up early twenty eight to ten, and then
- 8:36Speaker 3: it got a little closer at the end. But every
- 8:38Speaker 3: time that Clemson would kind of that way the.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Goal line, the goal line calls.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they couldn't get I mean a naked boot
- 8:49Speaker 1: of a flared tight end, something with a little pass just.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I didn't understand it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Straight tries to run in and and and.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And give Texas credit. I mean they ran the ball. Well,
- 9:06Speaker 3: you see that, you were they played a complete game.
- 9:08Speaker 3: They did, and you know the blue kid got one
- 9:10Speaker 3: hundred and forty six yards two touchdowns. That was only
- 9:13Speaker 3: fourteen carries. I thought you were. He didn't make a
- 9:15Speaker 3: lot of mistakes, and they got up early and they
- 9:18Speaker 3: just kind of let that they ran the ball in
- 9:20Speaker 3: the second half, let that defense come up, and they played.
- 9:24Speaker 2: They just played a more complete game than Clemson.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And they didn't have h Lincoln round his little brother
- 9:29Speaker 1: calling terrible plays.
- 9:31Speaker 3: So the uh, the uh, the big game I thought
- 9:36Speaker 3: would be the most big exciting game.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So leading up to this Lane Kiff and his mouthing
- 9:40Speaker 1: off the whole time, Oh you let these three loss
- 9:43Speaker 1: to these two loss teams in Mike kept saying, well,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know what, maybe you shouldn't have lost three games.
- 9:50Speaker 1: If you didn't lose three games, you would have been in.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You had to tell me that these kids didn't work
- 9:56Speaker 1: their asses off to get in. These teams didn't work
- 9:58Speaker 1: their asses off to get in.
- 9:59Speaker 2: My only thing is is then don't lose.
- 10:02Speaker 4: My only thing is that that was my thing.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I didn't I didn't have and okay, so so so
- 10:07Speaker 2: fine bombs. Yeah, this is how it's going on.
- 10:11Speaker 1: So fine bomb was also mouthing off about the SEC dominance.
- 10:16Speaker 1: And I watched this game, the Tennessee Ohio State game,
- 10:19Speaker 1: when I expected so much more out of this, I
- 10:22Speaker 1: did not expect.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I actually had Tennessee winning by one.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I did not.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Expect Ohio State to get shellact Ohio State to shellact Tennessee.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I think the biggest thing that I took about that is,
- 10:32Speaker 3: you know, the biggest criticism.
- 10:34Speaker 4: All year on Ohio State has been their defense.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Exactly because they we barely beat Indiana.
- 10:40Speaker 3: We know Knowles, we know we've seen him at Oklahoma State.
- 10:43Speaker 3: He turned that defense around and had a good defense,
- 10:46Speaker 3: got hired up there, and it's consistently had a good
- 10:48Speaker 3: defense at Ohio State.
- 10:50Speaker 4: And then this year at eleven and two, they're just bitching.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I don't I think Ohio State and OU fans might
- 10:58Speaker 3: be the biggest bitchers.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Of all time.
- 11:01Speaker 2: But you haven't seen Alabama.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Well, I mean that's possible.
- 11:05Speaker 2: You haven't been in Alabama. On down here, I guess
- 11:07Speaker 2: it was.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Like, so no I just I thought the defense was
- 11:12Speaker 3: the was the biggest surprise of that game, only because
- 11:15Speaker 3: of the uh you know, now, let's go back a
- 11:18Speaker 3: little bit.
- 11:18Speaker 2: If you know Nico eminem.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Leva, the freshman phenom, the fourteen to thirty one. You know,
- 11:27Speaker 3: if you look at statistically, and I'm not trashed the kid,
- 11:30Speaker 3: he's a freshman, I understand that, but you look at
- 11:32Speaker 3: the kid, he did not do well against teams that
- 11:36Speaker 3: were any good.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I mean, you have to remember that they had three
- 11:39Speaker 4: losses now and the other two and the other two losses.
- 11:44Speaker 2: He did not play well.
- 11:45Speaker 3: It's like I said, he's fourteen to thirty one, one
- 11:47Speaker 3: hundred and forty yards. You know, he had forty seven
- 11:50Speaker 3: rush yards, but that was still on twenty carries. And
- 11:53Speaker 3: then Dylan Samson, I mean, you know, he declared for
- 11:56Speaker 3: the draft. He didn't do much, was banged up in
- 11:59Speaker 3: the game. I just thought that Tennessee had come out
- 12:05Speaker 3: that extra would come out with a better game plan
- 12:07Speaker 3: and actually score.
- 12:08Speaker 4: But right off the bat, you know, with the.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Well, hold on, let's let's talk about pregame.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Because them being out there with no shirts on, doing
- 12:16Speaker 1: warm ups, acting like Nicole doesn't affect them and Tennessee's
- 12:21Speaker 1: fans taking over the stadium.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Well, and that was kind of the and you know,
- 12:25Speaker 3: Ryan Day had had two weeks of just I mean,
- 12:28Speaker 3: they were trashing him, and the team showed up for him.
- 12:31Speaker 3: And you know, two hundred and fifty six total yards
- 12:33Speaker 3: for Josh Hipel led team is unheard of. It's even
- 12:37Speaker 3: when he was with Landry Jones.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I and the fact that you lost to Will Howard.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I got into an argument with a drunk Ohio State
- 12:43Speaker 1: fan and I kept telling him, I'm like, the weakest
- 12:46Speaker 1: part of Ohio State's team is their quarterback.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Did you not think that was probably his best game
- 12:51Speaker 4: all year?
- 12:52Speaker 2: That hadn't been three hundred and eleven yards two touchdowns?
- 12:54Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I mean I thought it was. I really
- 12:57Speaker 4: thought it was.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And you've got great receivers on that team. No.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I mean we talked about this in earlier podcast that
- 13:03Speaker 3: Will Howard is not a guy that you would think
- 13:05Speaker 3: is going to be a passing quarterback.
- 13:07Speaker 4: They they you know, when he was at Kansas, they
- 13:09Speaker 4: did a lot.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Of run and run off and yeah, and so you
- 13:12Speaker 3: have some throwing that's not think you can't throw, but
- 13:15Speaker 3: it's like he's gran guy.
- 13:18Speaker 2: You look to throw.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yeah, usually Ryan day on that Ohio State offense is
- 13:22Speaker 3: heavy throw. All right, so you got it right. You
- 13:25Speaker 3: picked him in a low scoring game, twenty seventeen.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I picked twenty. Yeah, that's another thing that I thought
- 13:30Speaker 2: that this was gonna be a better defer.
- 13:31Speaker 4: You got the seventeen right, You picked seventeen for Tennessee.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Uh yeah, it's just that forty two.
- 13:37Speaker 1: For Ohio State kind of kind of ramped it. So
- 13:41Speaker 1: I got all of them right.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Yes, yes, you are four and oh in the playoffs,
- 13:46Speaker 4: I'm three and one.
- 13:47Speaker 3: All right, Well, let's talk about the upcoming playoffs because
- 13:53Speaker 3: I mean we can go We'll go through.
- 13:55Speaker 2: We'll discuss a little bit about at the end from
- 13:58Speaker 2: the bulls. Did you see that that ref punched in
- 14:02Speaker 2: the face? That was that was in C State and
- 14:05Speaker 2: Carolina Ly, I definitely would have been picking East Carolina
- 14:09Speaker 2: over in C State.
- 14:10Speaker 4: North Carolina State had a super disappointing.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Year, hugely disappointing.
- 14:14Speaker 4: All right, anything, really, what is that upcoming games?
- 14:19Speaker 2: Upcoming games?
- 14:19Speaker 1: You got South Carolina, Illinois and the CHEESEA Bowl, which
- 14:23Speaker 1: should be is that tomorrow?
- 14:25Speaker 2: That should be?
- 14:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it should be a good defensive game. I'm going
- 14:29Speaker 1: to say I'm probably gonna be wrong because look what
- 14:33Speaker 1: happened with the Ohio State Tennessee game.
- 14:39Speaker 2: And then we have Alabama Michigan.
- 14:40Speaker 1: So we've got two games of the SEC versus the
- 14:44Speaker 1: Big Ten.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I think takes both those.
- 14:48Speaker 3: You know now, is this is this the if Alabama loses,
- 14:52Speaker 3: it's because they didn't want to be there?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Because they did.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Absolutely, there's the cope, there's the cop that they did not.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Want to be there.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I want to make I want to make sure that was.
- 15:02Speaker 2: This player decided to lease.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I want to make sure that was a thing.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Baylor l s U in the kinder Texas ball which
- 15:10Speaker 1: you talked about that they make more than eggs.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Louisville Washington. I don't. The bulls for me now are
- 15:20Speaker 2: just boring and waiting on this. Penn State Boise State.
- 15:22Speaker 4: There we go. We'll start with that one, right.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I really I had ended up having to pick Penn State.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I want Boise State, but I had to pick Penn State.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Okay, before we get into the score predictions, go ahead
- 15:36Speaker 3: and let's talk a little bit about the game.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Are you not are you thinking that.
- 15:41Speaker 2: It's gonna be GENTI heavy.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Okay, so they are going to be trying, they're going
- 15:46Speaker 1: to be stopping the run. Penn State's coming out straight
- 15:48Speaker 1: to stop and run. They are, they are going to
- 15:51Speaker 1: shut him down because Boise is going to try to
- 15:53Speaker 1: get him loose as much as they can and free
- 15:56Speaker 1: up the offense to be able to pass. But what
- 16:02Speaker 1: was Penn State's run defense? They were I think they
- 16:07Speaker 1: were one of the top run stopping defenses. Weren't they.
- 16:12Speaker 2: We should all this, but we didn't.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I was off the flyn I was talking, well,
- 16:18Speaker 3: I was thinking.
- 16:21Speaker 2: That the it really is, is it really gonna matter
- 16:28Speaker 2: so much?
- 16:28Speaker 3: I mean, I know that everybody's gonna be like, Okay,
- 16:30Speaker 3: they've got to stop him. I think that maybe the
- 16:34Speaker 3: Boise State defense isn't getting enough credit.
- 16:37Speaker 2: And I think that that's to me.
- 16:40Speaker 3: You know, their first in the in their conference, I
- 16:43Speaker 3: know that's a Mountain West, their first, their first in sacks.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Remember they also did play at Oregon.
- 16:50Speaker 3: And that was close and low scoring and they held them.
- 16:53Speaker 3: You know, so I think that they're probably not getting
- 16:59Speaker 3: they're probably not getting the credit maybe that the they
- 17:02Speaker 3: did or they're you know, they're just thinking offense. So anyway,
- 17:07Speaker 3: scoring offense is about the same scoring defense. Penn State's lower,
- 17:11Speaker 3: you know, but it's more going to be about just
- 17:17Speaker 3: they're going to just stop, you know. But you know
- 17:20Speaker 3: one stat about gent eight and eight sorry, eighteen eighty
- 17:23Speaker 3: nine rushing yards after contact plus he's rested.
- 17:28Speaker 4: And like I said, that's the key thing. I want
- 17:30Speaker 4: to see between.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I want to see Boise States line and I want
- 17:35Speaker 3: to see Arizona States line against Texas. I want to
- 17:37Speaker 3: see if those guys that group there are one you know,
- 17:42Speaker 3: could come up there. So so, but they're third points Nashally,
- 17:47Speaker 3: the Broncos are six and total yards yeah, that's so.
- 17:51Speaker 3: That's that's the Broncos offense.
- 17:53Speaker 1: The Penn State is number four in the nation in
- 17:55Speaker 1: yards allowed. Yes, they sat behind Ohio State, Indiana Tech.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Okay so and one other thing that was a stat
- 18:02Speaker 3: The one other Power four team that Boise State faced
- 18:06Speaker 3: this year was Oregon and they were held with three
- 18:08Speaker 3: hundred and sixty nine yards, so that was about one
- 18:11Speaker 3: hundred yards below their average. And course that was early
- 18:14Speaker 3: in the year as well.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You look at this, Boise is number two and.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Yeah, two in the nations. Two in the sacks, Yes, yes.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Two in the sacks. So I think this is a
- 18:24Speaker 2: complete his points a love. We're gonna look at yards alone.
- 18:28Speaker 3: But when it really comes down to it, I just
- 18:31Speaker 3: think the talent usually over overwhelms. And I'm not saying,
- 18:35Speaker 3: you know, I'm saying that Boise State probably got one
- 18:37Speaker 3: of the better matchups because it is Penn State. I
- 18:39Speaker 3: don't think you know. Alar is a five star recruit
- 18:42Speaker 3: in his second year. He's a true sophomore, and he's
- 18:46Speaker 3: gotten better from last year. If you remember, they put
- 18:48Speaker 3: him in last year as a true freshman and he
- 18:50Speaker 3: took his lumps. But I still look watch him and
- 18:52Speaker 3: I'm I'm their offense with Andy Koletkey is so much better,
- 18:57Speaker 3: I mean by far better.
- 18:59Speaker 4: But still you.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Say, sometimes wonder you see those mistakes and those misthrows.
- 19:03Speaker 1: So I don't know, I've it's and again it's going
- 19:07Speaker 1: to come down to Boise playing a complete game from
- 19:10Speaker 1: start to finish without any errors.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Okay, what do you got for score? Let's give a prediction.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I was going to go twenty seven, nineteen twenty.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Seven, nineteen Penn State.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Right, I've got Penn State winning thirty eight twenty seven.
- 19:26Speaker 4: I think I think I think.
- 19:28Speaker 3: I think Boise State scores a little at the end,
- 19:31Speaker 3: but I think the game is not boring for people
- 19:34Speaker 3: that like old school football.
- 19:36Speaker 4: But it is going to be a ground Yes, run
- 19:38Speaker 4: the ball. Both teams are going to win the run states.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Penn State has a great running back I don't.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Well, and they got such a good defense. So and Aler,
- 19:48Speaker 3: you know, like I said, he's gotten so much better.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I still see him being very young looking at times,
- 19:54Speaker 3: but he's so much better than he is last year.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Jor he's a sophomore. True, he's a true sophomore because
- 19:59Speaker 3: he started last Year's a true freshman, all right.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And in our first game on the new year of
- 20:07Speaker 1: our Lord, the five uh Texas, Arizona State is starting
- 20:14Speaker 1: off with the big noon ESPN.
- 20:18Speaker 2: The chick fill a Bowl.
- 20:20Speaker 4: God, that is early, isn't it it is?
- 20:22Speaker 2: And I've been seeing nothing, but then it was trashing.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Oh well they had Yeah.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So they're saying that Arizona State is not going to
- 20:35Speaker 2: is not going to be as.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Potent on offense because they've lost their leading receiver who
- 20:41Speaker 1: has Arizona State. Yeah, so they're saying that they're not
- 20:46Speaker 1: going to be as potent. I still think that Arizona
- 20:49Speaker 1: State is a better team than Texas.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Here's my concern. Arizona State has ran their mouth a lot.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Scataboo said, no one can stop me. That was his quote.
- 20:58Speaker 2: That needs to stop.
- 21:00Speaker 3: And Sam Levitt quarterbacks said, hey, I'm better than yours.
- 21:03Speaker 2: He is.
- 21:04Speaker 4: That's possibly correct, but.
- 21:06Speaker 2: You guys got to stop running your mouth until the
- 21:08Speaker 2: game is over.
- 21:09Speaker 3: And and and you know, and they come in with
- 21:11Speaker 3: that swagger a little bit, and and really this is
- 21:14Speaker 3: going to come down to.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Who runs the ball better? You know it?
- 21:19Speaker 2: Who controls the line better?
- 21:21Speaker 5: Well?
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah, who's got the who can run the ball? I
- 21:23Speaker 4: mean what defense is stop?
- 21:25Speaker 2: You know?
- 21:25Speaker 3: Because I mean Texas is going to pride itself on
- 21:28Speaker 3: that Texas line. Oh the same there so deep on
- 21:32Speaker 3: all three levels. Same for the offense, Well they're not.
- 21:34Speaker 3: I don't think they're very I don't. I don't think
- 21:36Speaker 3: they're very good in the secondary.
- 21:38Speaker 1: You need to listen to the that I have to listen,
- 21:41Speaker 1: don't prep.
- 21:43Speaker 4: I don't they deep at.
- 21:44Speaker 2: All three level.
- 21:45Speaker 3: They're a very but I don't think and the secondary,
- 21:49Speaker 3: I don't think their secondary is strong so deep. I
- 21:51Speaker 3: think that's their weakness. And I think their other weakness
- 21:53Speaker 3: is yours. I've said that before, That's been proved by Georgia. Yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 3: yours is a weakness too, said that before too. But
- 22:02Speaker 3: I liked I like the matchup for Texas simply, you know,
- 22:07Speaker 3: neither one is a true home game for either team,
- 22:10Speaker 3: so Texas will travel.
- 22:12Speaker 4: It's at Atlanta, Okay, it's at the Big.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Big They're both moved across the nation there on the
- 22:19Speaker 2: East Coast. I just looked at that and saw where
- 22:21Speaker 2: it was too. Uh, yeah, you.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Know what, I'm going to take a Arizona twenty three
- 22:28Speaker 1: Texas uh twenty one. The I do I want to
- 22:34Speaker 1: I I do believe that Dillingham will keep his team
- 22:40Speaker 1: more composed, because that's one of the issues with Texas
- 22:44Speaker 1: is they get in and they get these teams that
- 22:45Speaker 1: are rattled.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Well, I told you, I don't think their culture is
- 22:48Speaker 4: very good. No, and I don't like yours.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Oh, nobody likes yours. I know. And adn't he going
- 22:55Speaker 2: to stay for a sixteenth season?
- 22:57Speaker 3: No?
- 22:57Speaker 4: That do you want to talk about that?
- 22:59Speaker 3: So he's already been offered, allegedly some big money transfer.
- 23:04Speaker 4: He's not going to the NFL.
- 23:05Speaker 3: He will transfer to another he'll play one year to
- 23:08Speaker 3: college team deal in Gabriel. I think Organ's that. I
- 23:12Speaker 3: swear it's Oregon or it's Ohio State. That'd be the
- 23:17Speaker 3: two that's got big. Both of them had good kids
- 23:22Speaker 3: coming in to fill in or would us c go
- 23:26Speaker 3: I need you? Yeah, I mean that could be it,
- 23:28Speaker 3: you know, even though they won their bowl game luckily.
- 23:31Speaker 2: But anyway, I don't.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I mean if I'm a if I'm a GM for
- 23:36Speaker 3: the NFL and we could, I mean I'm a super
- 23:39Speaker 3: badass GM for fantasy football because everyone will take my
- 23:43Speaker 3: rookie picks this year and use them.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Like they did.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Yeah, just the leading rusher of a rookie by far,
- 23:53Speaker 4: I have.
- 23:54Speaker 2: The leading tight end and somebody stole him.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Who Yeah, but he's set this year. But I that Hey,
- 24:00Speaker 3: somebody draft brought Bowers the rookie. He's got second or
- 24:04Speaker 3: third most receptions. Yeah, yeah, he wrote Dick's record. But yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 3: I mean he's like third. Was talking about Dicas, He's
- 24:15Speaker 3: like third receptions. I mean for everybody, just not tight ends, folks,
- 24:19Speaker 3: I know.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But the problem is that Jaden Daniels has done with
- 24:21Speaker 1: this NFL talk.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Uh yeah, So okay, I got forty two thirty five Texas.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I think it's I think I think they get a
- 24:28Speaker 3: little crazy in the end, scoring wise, and I think
- 24:30Speaker 3: it becomes aware down the defense. I think there's some
- 24:33Speaker 3: points scored, but Arizona State keeps it close, and that
- 24:38Speaker 3: can change.
- 24:38Speaker 4: I mean, obviously the so coming up.
- 24:40Speaker 2: In the Rose Bowl, we have at four pm.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Ohio State playing Oregon and the grand daddy of them all.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And Ohio State is favored to win this game.
- 24:56Speaker 4: And they will, they will not. That'll be an heather
- 25:00Speaker 4: we disagree on.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I think there's two things that this game that that
- 25:04Speaker 3: one the two things that matters in this game. I
- 25:07Speaker 3: think that the defense for Ohio States playing much better.
- 25:09Speaker 2: So you think they come on angry.
- 25:11Speaker 4: I do. I think that.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I think they're playing with a with a meaning, a passion,
- 25:17Speaker 3: a motive, and I think it just looks like a
- 25:21Speaker 3: different team.
- 25:23Speaker 4: I'm not sold on Dylan Gabriel.
- 25:24Speaker 3: You look at his stats against some of the teams
- 25:27Speaker 3: that were better, you know, some of the better teams
- 25:29Speaker 3: he played against. I understand they're undefeated, I have, you know,
- 25:35Speaker 3: and they did and they did, they did, and I
- 25:38Speaker 3: think where was that where was that game at?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:49Speaker 1: They traveled there because that was a game that you
- 25:51Speaker 1: would pick in the season.
- 25:54Speaker 4: They won one, and and there you go close all
- 26:02Speaker 4: the way. I mean, oh yeah, thirty one to thirty two.
- 26:07Speaker 3: But I just wanted to go over a couple other
- 26:09Speaker 3: games that this undefeated Oregon Uh beat. You know, they
- 26:14Speaker 3: beat Boise thirty seven thirty four, good win, but give
- 26:17Speaker 3: up thirty four points to Boise. Oregon State sucked this year.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Ucla sucked this year. Michigan State sucked this year. They
- 26:24Speaker 3: Beatlehase State, great win. Produce sucked. Illinois was better. That
- 26:29Speaker 3: was a good That was a good That was a
- 26:31Speaker 3: good win.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I think you had Michigan State picked a little higher.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you might have beat Wisconsin just by three.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Wisconsin had a horrible year that I don't know what
- 26:40Speaker 4: was over.
- 26:41Speaker 3: There, and and they beat Penn State forty five thirty seven,
- 26:44Speaker 3: once again, give up thirty seven points. I just look
- 26:47Speaker 3: at the better teams that they played. I thought the
- 26:49Speaker 3: defense didn't play as well as it could have. And
- 26:52Speaker 3: you know, obviously they didn't play there, you know as well,
- 26:55Speaker 3: and you know I'm talking about Penn State. They didn't
- 26:58Speaker 3: play as well either, but they were up twenty one
- 27:00Speaker 3: to ten or twenty eight to ten. I'm sorry Oregon was,
- 27:04Speaker 3: and then Penn State got some stuff late. Listen, I'm
- 27:08Speaker 3: not sold, and I know, you know, I'm just I'm
- 27:11Speaker 3: not an anti dealing Gabriel guy. I just don't think
- 27:13Speaker 3: he's that good. I don't think Will Howard's that good either.
- 27:16Speaker 3: I've said that neither one. I'm r NFL guys, maybe backups,
- 27:20Speaker 3: but I like, I like Ohio State. I just think
- 27:23Speaker 3: something is different about this and I think I picked
- 27:26Speaker 3: them at.
- 27:26Speaker 2: The beginning of the year Gabriel because he's short.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Well, and I think that, and I think that's what
- 27:31Speaker 3: it's going to come down to, is how well does
- 27:35Speaker 3: Knowle's pressure that defense? They going to send more heat
- 27:37Speaker 3: or they're going to try to come back and say, hey,
- 27:40Speaker 3: no wait, we're gonna we're gonna make you run the ball.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Who knows?
- 27:47Speaker 3: Give me give me a score thirty seven, thirty four
- 27:50Speaker 3: Oregon I got thirty eight, twenty eight Ohio State.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Remember it's a closer. It's a closer travel for Oregon
- 27:58Speaker 2: than it is for it is.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I mean, and that's what that's set up to do,
- 28:01Speaker 3: is a home game. Ish, you know, it's supposed to
- 28:04Speaker 3: be for those seeds. They put them in that area.
- 28:07Speaker 3: And plus they got the whole of course they got
- 28:10Speaker 3: the whole PAC twelve. Yeah, but Texas isn't the favorite.
- 28:13Speaker 3: It's Arizona State. They were the ones that got screwed
- 28:15Speaker 3: on that because Boise was a higher seed. They got
- 28:17Speaker 3: to go to Fiesta.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Oh no, no, I'm talking about I was talking about where
- 28:21Speaker 1: the games are played.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Well, yeah, Arizona State got the was the fourth seed.
- 28:25Speaker 3: That's why they got the fourth farthest major bowl. Boise
- 28:30Speaker 3: was three, so they got Fiesta Bowl. Would have been
- 28:33Speaker 3: fucking right in their backyard if they were the third seed.
- 28:36Speaker 3: All right, let's talk a little bit about we got
- 28:40Speaker 3: another game.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we got we got Notre Dame and John oh yes,
- 28:45Speaker 2: the Sugar Bowl down and uh and Nolins And remember
- 28:53Speaker 2: Carson beck is out for Dockton is a starter.
- 28:56Speaker 4: Yes, gunnerstock Back also announced for the draft anyway, and
- 29:03Speaker 4: he's brought pretty light.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You got, well, you gotta remember the Gunnish Stockton that
- 29:08Speaker 1: is that is that's crazy to say, Uh that Gunners
- 29:12Speaker 1: Stockton was the one that got them back into that
- 29:14Speaker 1: Texas game in the SEC title and Carson Becker only
- 29:18Speaker 1: came in for the one player to hand it off
- 29:20Speaker 1: with his limp arm.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Georgia guy uh from Georgia six one was a four star,
- 29:27Speaker 3: seventh graded quarterback. But he's from Georgia. Obviously, he's a
- 29:30Speaker 3: sophomore at the moment. And he was from Georgia. And uh,
- 29:38Speaker 3: I'm trying to think what town he was from, because
- 29:40Speaker 3: it's kind of a cool town.
- 29:41Speaker 4: Where was it? It was Tiger Tiger? Yes, did you
- 29:44Speaker 4: see it? There is Tiger Georgia. Yes, Tiger Georgia.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yes, I'm sorry, it was Merry. No.
- 29:53Speaker 4: I don't really know nothing about him except for what
- 29:55Speaker 4: a little bit I watched.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I've got Georgia winning forty because Notre Dame is not
- 29:59Speaker 3: even I'm.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Gonna take that action. You're gonna go Notre Dame. No, no, no, no,
- 30:07Speaker 2: I'm not a freak. I'm taking your action. I'm taking
- 30:11Speaker 2: your action on the score.
- 30:12Speaker 4: What is it?
- 30:13Speaker 3: What you just said score? Okay, we've done this before. Okay, well,
- 30:19Speaker 3: I mean I was gonna should have let you guess.
- 30:21Speaker 3: But anyway, Yeah, and the spreads only one and I like,
- 30:24Speaker 3: like I said, I like Notre Dame's defense. Riley Leonard
- 30:26Speaker 3: looks good at times playing quarterback for his fifteenth year.
- 30:30Speaker 3: But I just I think I think the talent, and
- 30:33Speaker 3: I think I think where you're at.
- 30:35Speaker 4: You're at the Sugar Bowl.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Georgia fans are gonna be hard.
- 30:39Speaker 4: That that's that's gonna be full Georgia, Georgia.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Even though we know there's a lot of Notre Dame
- 30:44Speaker 1: fans sneaking around.
- 30:46Speaker 2: We know they sneak around. We know that they they.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Hide in their little and their little Catholic cubbies and
- 30:52Speaker 1: looking at them boys.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Anything else on that on the.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Game, No, But in college news, the uh, the tight
- 31:03Speaker 1: end at Miami that had been there for like ten years.
- 31:05Speaker 4: He's finally finally has to quit playing.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Yeah, he's finally going to the NFL or something.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Hudos the cam Ward for setting out the second half
- 31:14Speaker 3: of the game and they were losing.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, good job camp ridiculous. Didn't he decline for
- 31:21Speaker 1: the NFL as well?
- 31:22Speaker 4: Yeah, he's gonna be a high pick.
- 31:24Speaker 3: And I warn you all, even though that's an harbuckle guy,
- 31:28Speaker 3: you thought about it?
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:29Speaker 4: You all right, let's segue into that ou well, hold on, no.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Let's let's get to the uh, the b YU game,
- 31:36Speaker 2: the b y U Colorado game. Very interesting game, was it? Uh? Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 2: because that high powered offense.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Uh, and the fact that Colorado is owing six against
- 31:47Speaker 1: ranked opponents.
- 31:49Speaker 4: I didn't believe in him. Uh, no one did.
- 31:52Speaker 3: And the media propped up Hunter for the award and
- 31:57Speaker 3: we all know that, and the guy is super talented.
- 31:59Speaker 3: I mean, if you think about it, without him and Shader,
- 32:02Speaker 3: that team's probably one and eleven.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Again. Uh, that's what they should have been. Phil Lord Holt,
- 32:09Speaker 4: I saw split he left there and headed to miss
- 32:11Speaker 4: the mistake.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I just wanted to bring that up because of all
- 32:14Speaker 1: the trash that they had been talking and ed what
- 32:17Speaker 1: came out of it at the end of the season,
- 32:20Speaker 1: and the fact that Dion is going to.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Be controlling where his sons and Travis go.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I don't think it's going to be New York now
- 32:27Speaker 3: because New York looks like they're out of the first pick.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they screwed around and won that game. So uh,
- 32:37Speaker 1: now you want to go heading into the.
- 32:42Speaker 4: That's the Patriots number one pick.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Cool hey, and.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Remind me to give you give Bill.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Belichick a little bit better credit than I did without
- 32:51Speaker 3: Tom Brady. When we get to that anyway, the story
- 32:55Speaker 3: behind that, Yeah, the Patriots are worse than ever. But anyway, anyway,
- 33:01Speaker 3: let's not go you.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so you know the big news and Zach Alley
- 33:06Speaker 1: bolted to go to West Virginia to be with rich Rod.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Again, speculation is running heavy.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I was reading an article that said that they the
- 33:18Speaker 1: Boosters finally opened their money, they their pockets. They want
- 33:23Speaker 1: they want to return West Virginia back to national prominence,
- 33:25Speaker 1: which I don't ever remember West Virginia being a national.
- 33:30Speaker 3: One year they went, they could have went to the
- 33:32Speaker 3: they almost made the championship.
- 33:34Speaker 1: You got one year and that's when they were in
- 33:35Speaker 1: the big East East. You want to talk about the
- 33:39Speaker 1: weakest conference. And also that he does not want to
- 33:46Speaker 1: be seen as a Brint Venables clone and have more
- 33:49Speaker 1: autonomy in calling the defense.
- 33:52Speaker 2: So that's what I got on all that is that
- 33:54Speaker 2: what you're thinking.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I understand the wanted to call, but also you go
- 34:01Speaker 1: with Papa rich Rod, and I know that you've got
- 34:03Speaker 1: your You've got your that you're just chomping at the
- 34:07Speaker 1: bit to say.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Not so much on him. We can talk about the
- 34:11Speaker 3: game exactly, I talk about No, we can talk about
- 34:14Speaker 3: all the coaches. Let's talk about the game first. Let's
- 34:17Speaker 3: bitch about that. Then I'll talk about the Zach Alley
- 34:21Speaker 3: all the coaches.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I didn't good to see it, so it never happened
- 34:24Speaker 2: to me.
- 34:24Speaker 3: So the Armed Forces Bowl, which I think we told,
- 34:27Speaker 3: we talked in the last podcast right before the game
- 34:29Speaker 3: that this was a no win Bowl.
- 34:31Speaker 4: If we won, we should have and if we lost,
- 34:32Speaker 4: we fucking suck. And we lost so few things. I
- 34:36Speaker 4: want to talk about. Total yards four unner thirty three
- 34:39Speaker 4: OU three hundred and eighteen.
- 34:40Speaker 3: I thought, why am I drawing a blank on this
- 34:44Speaker 3: kid's name.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Gosh Hawkins.
- 34:48Speaker 3: I thought Hawkins' best game, Yeah, that he's played twenty
- 34:53Speaker 3: eight to forty three to forty seven. I mean they
- 34:55Speaker 3: had seven I think I was listening to OU broadcast.
- 34:58Speaker 3: They had seven drops for sure by receivers and running backs,
- 35:04Speaker 3: but young and and throw two touchdowns the key you
- 35:10Speaker 3: know he he had did he have the one turnover?
- 35:14Speaker 3: I can't remember who lost that fumble anyway, I can't
- 35:18Speaker 3: remember either, it was probably him.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I saw people bitch about the Hawkins experiment being done well.
- 35:23Speaker 4: No, I mean I didn't think it was that bad.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I saw it that that's what it was missing.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Because there was one fumble, So penalties. Penalties was about even.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Total plays we had thirty one more plays eleven and nineteen.
- 35:38Speaker 3: On third down they were four thirteen. We had twenty
- 35:40Speaker 3: seven first downs they had eleven. Their rushing yards was
- 35:43Speaker 3: two hundred and twenty six, one ninety five yard rushing play.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Take that away. Their passing yards was ninety two yards.
- 35:50Speaker 3: And we fucking lost. So so, just so, so we're out.
- 35:56Speaker 3: We're our best two defenders are out for the game.
- 36:00Speaker 3: That's Bowman and Stetsman. But this didn't play. They were
- 36:04Speaker 3: on the draft and they shouldn't play. They shouldn't play
- 36:06Speaker 3: in these meaningless balls. And they are meaningless people, so
- 36:10Speaker 3: he shouldn't. You need to The balls are meaningless, not
- 36:14Speaker 3: the people. Yeah, the balls are meaningless. They are meaningless
- 36:17Speaker 3: balls people. And so we go for two at the end.
- 36:23Speaker 3: And I am so fucking sick and tired of these
- 36:27Speaker 3: these local radio I mean, and the people that right,
- 36:32Speaker 3: it's like they're all saying, well, why did you go
- 36:35Speaker 3: for that? And it's like, sons of bitches, look at
- 36:38Speaker 3: how many two point conversions you have to do in
- 36:40Speaker 3: overtime after the second one and they get him. If
- 36:44Speaker 3: he would have made it, they would have went like, oh, well, fuck,
- 36:46Speaker 3: thank god he made it and never would have said
- 36:48Speaker 3: a word.
- 36:49Speaker 4: And we would have won.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:50Speaker 1: They would have called him a hero and said, oh,
- 36:52Speaker 1: you know, going for two, you know it.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Was what you needed. The decision was good. Had he
- 36:59Speaker 2: made the two point.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Converted, No, the decision to go for it was good. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 3: Joe John Finley's play call was ship.
- 37:05Speaker 2: But what I'm saying is the media.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Take a running quarterback, put them in the pocket.
- 37:10Speaker 1: All the little all the little talking heads would have
- 37:12Speaker 1: been like, oh, that was a great decision to go
- 37:14Speaker 1: for two.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Uh, you know, that's what you needed to do.
- 37:17Speaker 1: You get into these situations, most guys just cop out
- 37:20Speaker 1: and go for one and then go to overtime.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Blah blah blah. I thought it was great.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't see the play that was called
- 37:28Speaker 1: because the game happened while I was asleep.
- 37:31Speaker 4: I don't know, just uh uh didn't get them I
- 37:34Speaker 4: mean get him out of the pocket.
- 37:35Speaker 3: And then one of the running backs in the other line,
- 37:38Speaker 3: they all started to move to right, and no one
- 37:39Speaker 3: blocked the best defender on the line.
- 37:41Speaker 4: I'm thinking, what are you doing.
- 37:43Speaker 2: I just.
- 37:46Speaker 4: I am so ready for Marbuckle and mater and a different.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Offense defensive coordinator.
- 37:55Speaker 4: But anyway, so let's everybody that's bitching.
- 37:57Speaker 3: That's you know that week that not really maybe youngsters,
- 38:03Speaker 3: but no, our portal is no offense to anybody in
- 38:06Speaker 3: the portal fro you. But I mean, you're all coming
- 38:08Speaker 3: from shit schools, so your congratulations. We have got no
- 38:12Speaker 3: no portal people from any big schools. I'm not saying
- 38:14Speaker 3: that that has to be the tell all, but it does.
- 38:18Speaker 3: It does look it does look bad when you're getting
- 38:21Speaker 3: no one from any other big programs. Arkansas one receiver
- 38:26Speaker 3: from Arkansas.
- 38:29Speaker 2: That's it. I think.
- 38:30Speaker 3: I think everybody else is. You know, we got the
- 38:32Speaker 3: kid from Kennesas State.
- 38:33Speaker 2: We got.
- 38:36Speaker 3: I totally understand that. But what I'm saying is is
- 38:40Speaker 3: how it's starting is not great. We're not even in
- 38:43Speaker 3: the top ten for portal schools. Not that those matter.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I'm just letting you know. I mean, Materia, we did
- 38:50Speaker 3: get the number one guy. I guess I should not bitch.
- 38:52Speaker 3: He was the number one portal guy. We did get him,
- 38:56Speaker 3: but we hired his coach to do it. And then
- 38:58Speaker 3: Lewis Carter leaves, which was interesting. Uh four star out.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Of uh it comes back. I don't think so.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Because I so anyway, so we we all want to
- 39:12Speaker 3: we all want to whine about, uh.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Does he look drunk? Person?
- 39:17Speaker 3: I thought I thought Nick Anderson and uh Lewis Carter
- 39:20Speaker 3: was only two losses that I went, Oh damn and
- 39:23Speaker 3: Jason mccaullough that.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Was the other one.
- 39:26Speaker 3: And going to Nebraska, I mean seven and five they'll
- 39:28Speaker 3: get in a bowl game, so that's good for him.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Were curious put away leaves to go to Eastern Carolina.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I don't.
- 39:35Speaker 3: I just I just I think that's all. Something is
- 39:38Speaker 3: just there, you know, it's one of those.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Deals we losing mccooners.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Twice had a rabit in so so then Uh, but no,
- 39:56Speaker 3: it was just so the zach Elli deal. I guess
- 39:58Speaker 3: we could talk a little bit about that. So that's
- 40:00Speaker 3: been the talk to is why in the hell would
- 40:01Speaker 3: you leave, you know, owe you to go to West Virginia.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Now you get you get three years at West Virginia,
- 40:07Speaker 3: highest paid assistant that West Virginia's ever had. You are
- 40:10Speaker 3: the DC, you are calling the place you sprint vtables
- 40:15Speaker 3: is still very involved and everything that's done. So two
- 40:28Speaker 3: things you scared about him getting fired? Is it just
- 40:33Speaker 3: one more year? Is that what he's thinking?
- 40:34Speaker 2: Probably?
- 40:35Speaker 3: Or Hey, I've got three years. I can build my
- 40:37Speaker 3: own name here and I'm a head coach in a
- 40:39Speaker 3: year or two. It's the other I kind of think
- 40:45Speaker 3: so too. And and you know, and as much as it.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Gets him out there and he gets you know, he.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Goes to the one guy that tweeted retweeted a comment
- 40:54Speaker 3: that Zach Kelly said, is like, Brent's like my second dad,
- 40:57Speaker 3: and someone responded, was, so rich is your real dad?
- 41:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 41:04Speaker 3: That was pretty funny. But no, I mean, so everyone
- 41:07Speaker 3: that's bitching about how bad a year we went, and
- 41:09Speaker 3: then we lose a couple we know, we lose a
- 41:11Speaker 3: couple of coaches. We lose one coach and a couple
- 41:13Speaker 3: of players, and everyone's like, a funk, We're done now.
- 41:15Speaker 4: It's like, well, wait a minute, are we gonna get better?
- 41:19Speaker 4: We can get better with these players.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I haven't said that, I just I just saw it,
- 41:23Speaker 1: and I'm like, okay, let's see what happens.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I can't imagine that anybody.
- 41:26Speaker 3: I can't imagine that anybody sets back and goes after
- 41:28Speaker 3: you look at this year that you don't think that
- 41:31Speaker 3: the offense is going to be better next year? It
- 41:33Speaker 3: will with the youngsters were coming in the defensive line
- 41:37Speaker 3: that was a lot of freshmen and sophomore Dominic Williams
- 41:41Speaker 3: is coming back. We do need to get our Mason
- 41:43Speaker 3: Thomas back. That's key. I don't know what he's doing.
- 41:46Speaker 3: It's kind of an iffy right now if he comes
- 41:49Speaker 3: back or not, but that'd be two huge people, and
- 41:53Speaker 3: we need some linebacker play.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Well because we have.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Even the team is what is well?
- 42:02Speaker 3: I think that I think there's a lot of that too,
- 42:04Speaker 3: so massively, I think I think there's two coaches that's
- 42:07Speaker 3: gonna be hard as a d C. I think it's
- 42:09Speaker 3: gonna be the booth.
- 42:11Speaker 4: No, it's gonna be the is it good one from Clemson?
- 42:14Speaker 2: I don't know. I sent you to the list. I
- 42:15Speaker 2: don't have my phone hold on. I saw the Clemson
- 42:18Speaker 2: guy and I saw.
- 42:19Speaker 3: It's gonna be real good Uh what is his name?
- 42:24Speaker 3: West Goodwin. It's either gonna be Wes Goodwin or Brandon Hall.
- 42:27Speaker 3: That's on stand. That's gonna be that, That's gonna be it.
- 42:30Speaker 3: There's no denying it's it's that's those two. There's no
- 42:32Speaker 3: need to discuss anything else. Todd Bates is not gonna
- 42:35Speaker 3: be the d C. I love Todd Bates, think he's
- 42:37Speaker 3: one of the best defensive line, but I don't know
- 42:38Speaker 3: if he's ever called plays and generally you don't see
- 42:41Speaker 3: a DC move.
- 42:42Speaker 1: So the whole Zach So, the whole Zach Ally was
- 42:45Speaker 1: is that you know he was? He was He was
- 42:47Speaker 1: an understudy for Venables at Clemson. Rich Rudd was the
- 42:51Speaker 1: one that gave him his first taste of play calling
- 42:56Speaker 1: and being an actual defensive coordinator.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Well, sure, and you come over and you and maybe
- 43:01Speaker 3: they don't like I don't know. I mean, everyone's just
- 43:03Speaker 3: freaking out. Everyone thinks that there's just so much going on,
- 43:05Speaker 3: and it's like, well, you know, where is Zach Ally from?
- 43:11Speaker 3: Where's he you know, where's his hometown at h I mean,
- 43:20Speaker 3: if you google it up, he his alma maters Clemson.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Obviously did he play after graduating? Well that was that Clemson, though,
- 43:34Speaker 3: I don't have a lot going on here.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Does he.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Graduating Charlotte Day High School? Charlotte, Yeah, North Carolina.
- 43:43Speaker 3: North Carolina. So he's close. So he's probably got family
- 43:46Speaker 3: over there. Everybody forgets that too. And it's like we
- 43:52Speaker 3: did get better on defense this year, but it was
- 43:54Speaker 3: because of him. Probably not, but I'm sure he helped.
- 43:58Speaker 3: I'm not discrediting the guy by no means.
- 44:03Speaker 2: You've got to make your choices.
- 44:04Speaker 3: And he's not going to make it three years at
- 44:06Speaker 3: West Virginia. He's either going to be fired after two
- 44:10Speaker 3: or be a head coach.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Well, the thing is is, is rich Rod going to
- 44:14Speaker 1: make it three years?
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 44:15Speaker 3: No, no, no, no no, See, rich Rod's got to have
- 44:17Speaker 3: five years, six year contracts something.
- 44:19Speaker 4: I mean, it's like they've committed. I mean they've they're
- 44:23Speaker 4: giving all this money.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I mean it's like, hey, we're done. And former RSU guy,
- 44:28Speaker 3: Reren Baker used to be the uh the used to
- 44:35Speaker 3: be the AD at Roger State. We're sure. Yeah, Roger
- 44:41Speaker 3: State a d two thousand and six, four years. Yeah,
- 44:44Speaker 3: and he is the AD at West Virginia right now.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Congratulations And had to fire all Huggins.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Love the Huggins.
- 44:53Speaker 3: You know, Hugson's basketball jersey had the Miami Did you
- 44:57Speaker 3: see that that?
- 44:58Speaker 4: You know, how you wore all them?
- 45:00Speaker 3: I don't know what you'd call them like almost like
- 45:01Speaker 3: an over vest or like the sweat He wore sweater vests,
- 45:06Speaker 3: but he also wore them like not nylaon.
- 45:10Speaker 4: But you know, it's like those wind.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Suit wind tops the old timers used to do just
- 45:15Speaker 3: the tops. Well it was like a pullover, but it
- 45:17Speaker 3: was kind of that thin material.
- 45:20Speaker 2: It was the top for trash maybe, but not.
- 45:23Speaker 1: What you would do is you'd get out to the
- 45:25Speaker 1: track and you would It's like you're warm up, you're
- 45:27Speaker 1: wearing it, you're chilling, and then before you read, you took.
- 45:30Speaker 2: It all off.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Anyway, so back to the what's like, geez, I am
- 45:35Speaker 3: so tired of I'm into sweats these days.
- 45:38Speaker 4: That's what I'm into. But no, so I go straight.
- 45:44Speaker 2: I don't, but I don't.
- 45:45Speaker 4: I think everything but he needs to freaking relax.
- 45:47Speaker 3: But you know, I think the concern is that he's
- 45:49Speaker 3: got one more year and his schedule next year is
- 45:51Speaker 3: harder than this year. But I really would like to
- 45:53Speaker 3: see it two years.
- 45:54Speaker 4: I know.
- 45:55Speaker 3: But we got Michigan in non conference, so that adds
- 45:57Speaker 3: to the heart of and some of the easier road
- 46:00Speaker 3: games or home games this year.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Moore come back home? Who Sharon Moore?
- 46:10Speaker 4: Anything else on college before we hit the NFL.
- 46:13Speaker 2: No, but I can't wait for that. I wait for
- 46:15Speaker 2: that second.
- 46:17Speaker 3: No, the only thing I wanted to talk about, like
- 46:20Speaker 3: I talked about was the college playoffs. To end this
- 46:22Speaker 3: is people quit bitching about the twelve team playoff. Let's
- 46:25Speaker 3: move it to sixteen. And what you do is you
- 46:28Speaker 3: quit giving the shittier conferences higher seeds.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Are you telling you.
- 46:32Speaker 4: We see them all?
- 46:33Speaker 2: Let the playoff commit.
- 46:34Speaker 3: You know this committee was handstrung a little bit because
- 46:37Speaker 3: they had to see these winners one through four.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, just see them how you
- 46:42Speaker 2: feel the.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Sixteen team, Just do the top twenty five and put
- 46:46Speaker 1: them all through the bulls.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Well, there would have to be some home games, and
- 46:50Speaker 3: I mean that's too many to me for football because
- 46:53Speaker 3: you add to the games.
- 46:54Speaker 4: But sixteen is plenty sixteen is you could do sixteen?
- 46:58Speaker 2: Next year it'll be eighteen.
- 47:00Speaker 3: No, I don't think they'll ever do more because the
- 47:03Speaker 3: because you got to, you're gonna have to start doing
- 47:05Speaker 3: the math. NFL players they play eighteen games, seventeen games
- 47:09Speaker 3: now through eighteen weeks.
- 47:11Speaker 4: You still ain't got those. You ain't got those NFL
- 47:13Speaker 4: guys playing that many.
- 47:15Speaker 3: I mean college right now, So you got them playing
- 47:17Speaker 3: thirteen for you have them about seventeen. If you would
- 47:20Speaker 3: do a sixteen, that'd be right right, that'd be.
- 47:24Speaker 4: For four games.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Max. That's not everybody playing there in the championship. That's
- 47:28Speaker 2: not No.
- 47:29Speaker 3: No, I agree, I agree, but I'm saying the max,
- 47:32Speaker 3: the max A team could happen.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Max the top Well, that's.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Pretty impressive to get.
- 47:37Speaker 3: You know, if you win play seventeen games in college
- 47:40Speaker 3: and win the national championship, you deserved it.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Top twenty five and the first team gets around by
- 47:46Speaker 1: number one team of the base, she gets a buy.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Just just use the bulls that way, that's the one way.
- 47:52Speaker 1: That way you bring relevancy back to the balls.
- 47:54Speaker 3: So one thing I don't I understand that, and relevancy
- 47:56Speaker 3: has come to some of the balls now because no more.
- 47:59Speaker 2: No more of the whole bring relevancy back to the bulls.
- 48:03Speaker 4: You get two more bulls and.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Everybody gets to play the ball. Who was in the
- 48:09Speaker 1: top twenty five? No more of this sixteen well, no
- 48:13Speaker 1: more of this overblown everybody every well, how many bulls
- 48:18Speaker 1: were in Alabama?
- 48:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I just didn't like to see how many balls
- 48:21Speaker 4: are in Florida like.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I didn't like them.
- 48:23Speaker 3: I didn't like them to say, Okay, hey Boise State,
- 48:25Speaker 3: Hey Arizona State, you won your you know you won
- 48:28Speaker 3: your conference. You're automatically seated high.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Did you want to give Texas a first run by?
- 48:35Speaker 2: I think if Texas should.
- 48:37Speaker 4: I don't like the Buys either. I don't.
- 48:41Speaker 3: But I think you see them all based on what
- 48:44Speaker 3: you think is the best team, not what you're hamstrung
- 48:46Speaker 3: to see them.
- 48:47Speaker 4: And that's unfair.
- 48:49Speaker 2: It is.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Well, no, I mean it's true.
- 48:53Speaker 2: By the way, Lane Kiffn's got a game coming up.
- 48:55Speaker 3: I mean, if you would would you take if you
- 48:58Speaker 3: had to bet on Alabama, would you take Alabama over
- 49:03Speaker 3: Boise You wouldn't if you had to bet your life
- 49:07Speaker 3: savings on it, straight up, not in a neutral field,
- 49:12Speaker 3: you take Alabama.
- 49:13Speaker 4: I'm just saying, no, you wouldn't play.
- 49:16Speaker 2: You wouldn't. You wouldn't. You wouldn't. No one would. No
- 49:18Speaker 2: one would.
- 49:19Speaker 4: Unless they're just dumb and they want to be different.
- 49:22Speaker 2: They want to be different. Dollars.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Okay, so if you had a million million, that means
- 49:27Speaker 3: you'd have another million to lose. But anyway, if you
- 49:29Speaker 3: made that much shit, so let's move on, let's talk
- 49:33Speaker 3: a little bit about the NFA it's closing up. Or
- 49:37Speaker 3: on week seventeen, let's give an update on that score tonight,
- 49:41Speaker 3: forty nine ers twenty one is happening.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Forty nine ers twenty one line.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Look at the team rock Prety two hundred yards two tudies.
- 49:49Speaker 3: And Jamar Gibbs only sixty yards. That means probably, well,
- 49:54Speaker 3: you're looking it up. Let's see what our championship race
- 49:57Speaker 3: is looking at ninety seven. Well, Creston's not far behind.
- 50:03Speaker 2: He is.
- 50:05Speaker 3: Twenty five, thirty four points behind.
- 50:09Speaker 4: And it's halftime. Yep, so he's.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Thirty four points behind, so he gained twenty so it's
- 50:16Speaker 3: one twenty five ninety one.
- 50:21Speaker 1: It gonna be tough, gonna be tough, coming under the fire,
- 50:25Speaker 1: all right, games doesn't matter.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Third place me. Let's see looks like fifth place. Looks
- 50:33Speaker 3: like Claire is gonna be hunter and seventh place George.
- 50:41Speaker 4: Will be beating destiny.
- 50:43Speaker 3: And that was a close one, too high scoring, too damn.
- 50:46Speaker 3: That had some high scoring on high scoring games.
- 50:51Speaker 4: And then you got this this trash right here, idiot.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Points my money, my money, let's do it.
- 51:02Speaker 3: I thought this week's games were just awesome. I thought
- 51:05Speaker 3: the the Bengals game, Joe Burrow, he's not gonna win
- 51:11Speaker 3: the MVP game. But I kind of would like to
- 51:13Speaker 3: do some research and maybe you can do that when
- 51:15Speaker 3: you're at work doing nothing that who is the closest
- 51:21Speaker 3: to winning the MVP that has played on the worst team,
- 51:27Speaker 3: And that could be him, because I think he's going
- 51:30Speaker 3: to finish about third or fourth.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Look at all, you know what I mean?
- 51:33Speaker 3: I mean, look, you know, but to see what but
- 51:36Speaker 3: like the third or fourth place?
- 51:37Speaker 2: Did they have to gauge that?
- 51:39Speaker 3: Did they have a four and twelve record?
- 51:43Speaker 4: I mean, I know that the Bengals are eight and nine. No,
- 51:46Speaker 4: they're eight?
- 51:46Speaker 2: Is it eight and eight?
- 51:47Speaker 4: Right now? They're eight eight?
- 51:48Speaker 2: Right now? They're still in the hunt.
- 51:50Speaker 4: Now more than likely.
- 51:54Speaker 3: The scenario is Denver's probably gonna get it because they're
- 51:59Speaker 3: gonna play the Beefs this week.
- 52:01Speaker 4: Looks like the Chiefs have lost.
- 52:04Speaker 2: One over.
- 52:04Speaker 3: It looks like everybody's gonna set on the ass. So
- 52:10Speaker 3: Bill's the same way, who plays the Bills? Anybody important
- 52:13Speaker 3: Bill's will also did you know that schedule?
- 52:16Speaker 2: Well, I'm just looking at something and you may forgive
- 52:19Speaker 2: what I was looking for.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Well, let me just keep continuing about the I'll keep
- 52:23Speaker 3: talking about the.
- 52:26Speaker 2: That's what I was looking for. I don't know who
- 52:31Speaker 2: the Buffalo. Buffalo played the Jets. Buffalo's gonna end up
- 52:34Speaker 2: playing which Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, we just didn't do enough.
- 52:41Speaker 2: We didn't do anything. New England closing out at New
- 52:45Speaker 2: England the Bills.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Okay, so it looks like Alan's gonna start. Then he'll
- 52:49Speaker 3: bail out like three series and then yeah, I don't
- 52:54Speaker 3: get one series. That's what i'd give him because they've
- 52:56Speaker 3: locked in the two seeds.
- 52:58Speaker 2: They're already that that was they're looking at. Well, if
- 53:02Speaker 2: you go to the FC, well that's where I'm at. Okay,
- 53:05Speaker 2: because they're on the top.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Okay, we'll get after it. Let's do a little review
- 53:08Speaker 4: of that.
- 53:10Speaker 2: I don't know what I've done here.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Oh my god, what have you done? Oh he's in
- 53:16Speaker 3: the trash lane. Let's just talk about it. We know
- 53:19Speaker 3: the Chiefs are one, the Bills are number two. The
- 53:22Speaker 3: Ravens they play I believe the Browns and they can
- 53:27Speaker 3: beat that, or or if the Bengals beat the Steelers, Okay,
- 53:32Speaker 3: they can be number three. You with me, Okay, Number
- 53:36Speaker 3: four is Houston. They get it no matter what they suck.
- 53:39Speaker 3: I cannot That's the worst team going in the playoffs
- 53:41Speaker 3: by far. Pittsburgh still can win the North. They would
- 53:45Speaker 3: have to beat the Bengals, and the Ravens have to
- 53:47Speaker 3: lose to the Browns, not Hattening, Pittsburgh's in and then
- 53:50Speaker 3: the Chargers they play the Raiders. They'll either be the
- 53:54Speaker 3: fifth or sixth seed in the playoff. Fifth seed if
- 53:56Speaker 3: the Raiders and or I'm sorry, if they defeat the
- 53:58Speaker 3: Raiders and the Steelers lose, the Chargers would face Houston.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Look at this, Look look at what's happening when I
- 54:04Speaker 1: hit this? This should go to the playoff standings.
- 54:07Speaker 4: It is I'm just got to read the ease and disease.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Is it really? Yes?
- 54:12Speaker 1: Baltimore, Houston, Tampa Bay in the it's given you the Seeds,
- 54:18Speaker 1: Tampa Bay and the AFC's yeah, that's.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Yeah, they're supposed to be here.
- 54:23Speaker 4: Cool, cool computer. I don't even know why airline Panthers
- 54:26Speaker 4: are on there.
- 54:27Speaker 2: But anyway, that's it's not giving twenty five. So I'm
- 54:31Speaker 2: gonna go to this.
- 54:31Speaker 4: Would you go to twenty five? When that pops up?
- 54:37Speaker 2: It shouldn't be I guess there's no.
- 54:39Speaker 3: Traine' just making sure, making sure I'm reading it right now.
- 54:43Speaker 3: So I'm already giving you a low down Chargers. They'll
- 54:46Speaker 3: be the sixth seed if the Steelers win, and the
- 54:50Speaker 3: seventh seed is going to go to the Broncos because
- 54:53Speaker 3: they play the Chiefs. Now, if they lose against the Chiefs,
- 54:56Speaker 3: which would be crazy nuts because everybody on the Chiefs
- 54:59Speaker 3: is setting, then it would come down to the Bengals
- 55:01Speaker 3: and the Dolphins.
- 55:03Speaker 1: So so we're already looking at Denver.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Inn is gonna Miami. Who's Miami playing?
- 55:10Speaker 4: Miami's gonna play the Jets. The Jets, and then the Bengals.
- 55:15Speaker 4: They'll play the.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Steelers.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Yes, Steelers, Yeah, you know the Steelers.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Bengals are gonna be the Steelers. Steelers are trash, hey, folks.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Anybody picking the Steelers win ship in the playoffs?
- 55:29Speaker 4: Stop stop stop.
- 55:34Speaker 3: I would take Denver over the Steelers, and I hope
- 55:37Speaker 3: they play Round one.
- 55:39Speaker 4: I would love it, love it, love it.
- 55:41Speaker 2: NFC. Uh, here's the fun. Here's the fun fact. In
- 55:45Speaker 2: Minnesota and.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Detroit this is great are.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Playing for the five.
- 55:51Speaker 4: Sunday Night Sunday Night next week.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Yes, the first time ever and and that that that
- 55:59Speaker 3: third it's probably going to be maybe not probably, but
- 56:02Speaker 3: at least thirteen win, could be fourteen of Denver or
- 56:07Speaker 3: Detroit wins the night. But it's the first time ever
- 56:09Speaker 3: that you're going to see two teams with that many
- 56:11Speaker 3: wins play for a spot, and it's going to be
- 56:15Speaker 3: on Sunday night. Winner takes the first round by loser
- 56:20Speaker 3: drops clear to fifth. Yeah for that, and they'll play
- 56:25Speaker 3: probably either the Rams or the Bucks is how that looks,
- 56:28Speaker 3: depending on who wins.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Well, well, you know, right now we're seeing who makes
- 56:34Speaker 1: the playoff because currently Tampa has the NFC South yes
- 56:41Speaker 1: in hend well in hand, well.
- 56:43Speaker 4: They gotta win. They still gotta beat New Orleans.
- 56:44Speaker 1: If the game that I watched the other night of
- 56:47Speaker 1: Washington and Atlanta, of the two quarterbacks that I want
- 56:50Speaker 1: in Chicago to draft, it was a really good.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Game window overtime.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Washington ended up winning last night by six points, and
- 57:00Speaker 1: both quarterbacks were quarterbacks that I wanted the Bears to
- 57:03Speaker 1: take over Caleb Williams because of their accuracy.
- 57:07Speaker 4: We all send that trade that number one pick, and.
- 57:11Speaker 1: So now we're looking to see if Tampa or Atlanta
- 57:15Speaker 1: makes it in because the rest of the field is set.
- 57:18Speaker 3: And not necessarily the Rams are in. But if they
- 57:22Speaker 3: lose to Seattle and the Bucks win, the Bucks moved
- 57:25Speaker 3: to the three seed, and then the Rams were moved
- 57:28Speaker 3: to the four seed.
- 57:29Speaker 1: No change, saying that the playoff teams are set, Yes,
- 57:35Speaker 1: aside from.
- 57:36Speaker 4: From Tampa and Atlanta, that's correct.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Tampa's Tampa.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Tampa's got to beat the rattlers of the Saints and Spencer. Yes,
- 57:47Speaker 3: and Atlanta play.
- 57:50Speaker 4: And Atlanta plays the Panthers.
- 57:51Speaker 2: That Saints go marching down, we hope.
- 57:56Speaker 1: So so it was likely that Tampa got that that
- 58:01Speaker 1: Tampa's schedule helped him with that big game yesterday, and
- 58:06Speaker 1: Atlanta had to have a hard, fun game and they
- 58:11Speaker 1: tried to win.
- 58:12Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie Tampa. Yeah at Atlanta.
- 58:15Speaker 4: You know, that's one of the most fun games I've watched.
- 58:17Speaker 3: I mean, I watched a lot of good games that
- 58:19Speaker 3: that was a fun one watch, only because I had
- 58:21Speaker 3: some rooting interest.
- 58:22Speaker 1: On the Bond Poenix too long, they said, on that
- 58:26Speaker 1: big black Poenix.
- 58:26Speaker 4: Well, and you look what dan quinn.
- 58:29Speaker 3: I mean, every fourth down, I mean at fourth and three,
- 58:31Speaker 3: fourth and two, he'd be like, no hesitation. They were
- 58:34Speaker 3: ready to call the play. The play was already called
- 58:37Speaker 3: and they still had time on the clock. There wasn't
- 58:39Speaker 3: this oh shit, let's make my decision.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Everybody line up and then look at me.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Yeah they're thinking about it, and look at me and hey,
- 58:48Speaker 3: I know you're not a big fan and he's not
- 58:50Speaker 3: going to be your next coach, but he's gonna get
- 58:52Speaker 3: some consideration. I think Cliff Kingsbury should get a lot
- 58:54Speaker 3: of credit for what Atlanta's or what Washington is done
- 58:57Speaker 3: on offense this year.
- 58:58Speaker 4: To be honest, I.
- 58:59Speaker 2: Told you I believe that he probably will be in the.
- 59:03Speaker 4: I don't think he will. But it's funny because you're
- 59:06Speaker 4: so concerned about that.
- 59:09Speaker 2: My heart can't take it. My heart.
- 59:15Speaker 1: But the other problem isn't that the bears a low
- 59:17Speaker 1: line and a couple of d guys and it's a
- 59:20Speaker 1: complete team depending on who he brings in.
- 59:22Speaker 3: I think green Bay and Washington obviously the playoffs, and
- 59:25Speaker 3: they could swap.
- 59:27Speaker 2: They are.
- 59:27Speaker 1: We're just we're looking at like I said, the last
- 59:30Speaker 1: week is coming down to positioning. For Tampa and Atlanta,
- 59:33Speaker 1: it's who's in, and for the rest of them, it's positioning.
- 59:38Speaker 3: So if green Bay beats the Bears, which they will,
- 59:40Speaker 3: and Washington to beat the cow and Washington defeats defeats
- 59:43Speaker 3: the Cowboys, which they should. Packers will get the higher
- 59:47Speaker 3: seed than Washington, so the Packers would play the Rams
- 59:50Speaker 3: or Buccaneers much easier spot than Washington seven, who will
- 59:53Speaker 3: play the Eagles. Now that's borring if Jalen hurts his
- 59:57Speaker 3: back because there's no bye week for that playoffs.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: You sent me that picture of that video of Kenny Pickett.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: I about shipped my pants. I laughed so hard.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Why did this good too?
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: And why did the ballad like he was doing a
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: fake pump or something.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: He just went with it down.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: So if you haven't seen Kenny Pickett in that play
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: last week's game, it was pretty bad.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: And you know, give credit to that guy.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I think he They said he played with some broken
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: ribs originally and got hurt later the guy gamed.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: I mean, he was a baller.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: Even even Daxton told me I should pick him up
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: for my fantasy. I needed a quarterback because two was out,
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: and I picked up Joe Flacco and instead of Kenny Picket.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: So and Kenny had better numbers for that, so Utado
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Green Bay would need to lose. It doesn't look like
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: that's gonna happen. So Washington's gonna come in as the
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: last the last spot in the in the playoffs.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: And switched to Ready.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: There we go, blicks is coming, throws it into the
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: ground and right up to Berkley. There's a fire way
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: down in the secondary.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: I think it was the color of the jas that was.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: No.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: But they do really well in the Kelly Green.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: I think lea foul got his hand.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Did he touch it though? Did the other guy touch it?
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: To watch his left hand so he gets.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: I don't know, but damn it, you're in picking.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: I think it's just gonna be a.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Defense. He was never touched.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: It was quite impressing. White impressive.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Cats. Don't look at my don't look at my screen.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Okay, So, so epic, epic playoffs from the NFL this year.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: I mean, this is gonna be one of the best
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: playoffs we've I know I've said that, said it last year,
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: but these are going to be some of the best
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: playoffs I honestly really liked.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: I mean, okay, so we talked about last week, what
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: do you do with Darnold? You resigning him?
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: You got to don't you that is I mean especially,
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: I mean they've won fourteen fucking games already.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: That is one of the biggest conundrums.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Now, we talked about the Vikings defense. I know nobody
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: really likes Brian floor Is. The NFL doesn't like him either,
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: But they've got a good bed. But they've got a
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: good They've got a good they've got a good defensive team.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Kevin O'Connell is one of the best play callers. I
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: would put him up top three actual play callers in
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: the league overall over anybody, to be honest, Andy Reid
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: would be there, Kevin O'Connell and so that would be
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: that would be you know, he's he's But they've got
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: a phenomenal team that's not got a lot of stars.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: I mean, obviously you've got.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Jefferson and then you know you've picked You've got Aaron
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Jones from Green Bay and then they you know, he's
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: not really a super a.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Really good wide receiver. Corps.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You don't have a superstar running back, no, no, and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: you have a out of nowhere defense and a middle
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: of the road quarterback that is shining like.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: He's not making mistakes.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: You like Baker Madfield well, and you got to think
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: that he went through the same thing as Baker.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Bs that Baker went through they I mean they ended
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: up on Carolina together and they both got that one.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you can see that one Carolina to get.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: You've got guys that both these guys are in the
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: playoffs and you guys four games.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Oh they needed was to bring Rosen up. You would
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: have had the draft picked.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: No, but no, you're exactly right.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: And and and it's amazing what both those guys have
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: done same draft, you know, and Darnald's path has been longer,
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: but Baker's has probably been harder just because he was
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: the number one pick and trash in Cleveland, tried to
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: play hurt and then had to go and you know,
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: be at the be what a third string at Carolina.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: I think Donald was ahead of him.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I'm so happy that Cleveland are.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Sucking ass, still.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Eating their words. They're eating now.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: That's another thing to Sean Watson had to restructure his
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: contract and they pushed that to twenty thirty, I believe
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: is how they did it.
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: His last year's next year, His last year was this year.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: No, I think he's got one more. They did to
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: play to Watson. Yeah, I think they're not gonna cut him.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: I don't know they know what he's doing. He's gonna
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: be the quarterback. I mean, he'll be the starter. They're
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: gonna get him one more year and that's it.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Jamie's Winston are people's you know.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: I'm glad they brought Jamis Winston for this game.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: He plays much.
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: Better than DTR is a DTR d r T whatever
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Thomas run.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: I mean, he makes stupid mistakes. I hated him at Tampa. Yeah,
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: I told you his worst one in Florida State. But
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: the guy, the guy gives you the option to win
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: more than he does to not win. Does that make sense?
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: I mean you're gonna get the ship. You have a
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: better chance that the ceiling is higher. Yes, yes, the
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: ceiling is definitely you have a better chance. There's a
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: touchdown right there.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Off to check that.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: We'll check it here in a minute when it gets clear.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: You also have to think that Kirk Cousins is scheduled
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: to be cut. He's done. He don't know. I don't know,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: But have you not seen that to say a certain
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: amount of money.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: No, he's gone before his ten million, and I think
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: he knows he's gone. Yes, he's gone. What what he
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: never got back after the injury to two point? Yeah,
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: so it's tied.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: So I don't know what they I mean, what was Yeah,
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: what was the thought?
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: I mean, you watch him play, and every commentator that
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: knows ball, I don't I've never played it, but they'll
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: watch it and they'll sit there and go, well.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: I did play it, actually, but I'll confer and but no,
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: they but they said his off.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: You know, he just didn't have that step back, you know,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: the plant foot from that Achilles playing and maybe he's
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: better next year, but he's he's you know, he's just
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: he's well.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: And this is everybody gave Atlanta a ship for drafting
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Phoenix in the first round.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: I think it looks like a great move, now, that's
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: what I'm saying. But it makes you wonder did they
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: realize after they signed him, Oh fuck, you know, did
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: we screw up what you have to do in between
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: the time.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: You have to and then the physical I would be
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: looking at him, go stop playing, which.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I mean, you think about it. How many playoff games
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: as Kirk Cousins won. I think one, maybe two? I mean, yeah,
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: it was it was a bad Decision's they got desperate,
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: they got desperate.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Don't sign Jake Cutlers and don't sign anybody.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Hey talk about and you talk about bad coaching though too.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: I mean, you know.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: In that Atlanta Washington game, the timeouts in the first
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: and second half to close the game, he had timeouts
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: for both and just let the clock run.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: I didn't understand. I mean, maybe he had his thing
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: I should I don't know.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: The lines kick, but yeah, I mean, how have how
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: did they like how the Niners get the ball when
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: they How did they not take the timeouts to save time,
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: especially in the second half, I mean the first one
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: they had time today, I don't know. I just it's
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: easier setting on the sideline, but to watch that stuff,
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: but you've got to be smarter. And I also thought
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: that Zach Robinson's play calling last night was interesting. I
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: thought I thought they they I thought some of the
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: throw and that gimmicky plays was and that I think
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: that you could have run Beijon and Algie a lot more,
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: and they did, and they were excelling.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: At doing that.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: That's the thing I don't like about Washington playing Philadelphia.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: If that's the first round matchup, I think Philadelphie's got
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: a huge advantage there.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: But Poenix's arm was also helping out with that.
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: Oh god, he can throw a bomb. No, geez, that's
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: what I said.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: That's why I wanted him, Yes, or Jaydon Daniels over
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Caleb Williams in that draft. Caleb Williams is like the
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: number eight quarterback.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: Who did the raft were talking about? You said, Jalen, Who.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Jade and Daniels?
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you said Williams.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: In that draft. Well, I said, Caleb Williams is.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: The number eight, Oh Caleb, Yeah, you said Jaden.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Caleb, Caleb's the number eight over all for that draft.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Redraft him.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Yeah, if I redraft, I got guys way higher than him.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: They remember that was the big draft class because that
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: had bow Nicks coming out in it.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: That had a lot of quarterball.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: This is just a redraft. You'd get Jade and Daniels
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: to the Bears exactly. I was made to Washington Wims.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: And you know what, Caleb Williams, you know, you give
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: him a lot of ship. He didn't have his numbers,
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: weren't super bad.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Decision making is trush, yes.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: And he's a little whiny and he gets upset, a.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Little whiny, And why did he have you a safe
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: space because you made a fucking mistake.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: And then you got Brian Thomas, who I drafted my rookie.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: And that's another And I don't get credit for another rookie.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: I had Bucky Irving, Brian Thomas, he led the rookie
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: receivers and touchdowns stuck?
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Why not? Why not? He led the rookies, he led
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: the rookie receivers and stuff. You picked up Bucky Irving
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: late in the season, No, he didn't. I drafted him Irving.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Yeah didn't you? Bet me? I bet me.
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: I drafted two rookies.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Bet me, bitch. Then why was he out there? Why
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: was he out where people had chances to big Bucky
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: over there?
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: I drafted him him, I drafted him, never dropped him.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: No drafted, draft, draft, draft, draft, Brian Thomas the same way.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Yeah, oh what about Uh what he leads and he leads.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: The lead wide receiver touchdowns?
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, but lad McConkie still leads, uh yardage.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: You know that was a good pick up by her too,
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: I mean yeah, uh, and uh what happened? You should
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: have thought about that because they had zero receivers.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Everyone's like keen the other on the generational telling to
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Marvin Harrison Junior, you know he had a.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Rough year, let's put him. He would have been drafted ninth.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: They said, yeah, I would not have taken him. I'm
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: still would have taken a Donze. Well.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I think the problem with Marvin Harrison Jr. Is you've
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: got a quarterback that's not a good thrower, and you
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: must admit that. Kyler Murray's kind of a.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Yeah but still but still, all I heard was generational, generational.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: And brought Barris well a generation and he's there, I
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: mean he is broke.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Bars proved his ship, yes, and Ladd McConkie came out
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: of nowhere.
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: He did he did, he did. No, I would agree
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: that was the thing. I would agree with that.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: Oh my god, how is he doing that? Twenty that?
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Where's Bucky?
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Bucky? Come on? Yeah? See Bucky still.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Oh, he's gonna be there somewhere. There's Rome way down there.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: And he didn't have a good quarterback to throw to
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: as well, but.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: He still did really well. He did. He did well.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: He did better than what's his neck? Twenty ninth. That
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: to the Bells Cowboys.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: He was a fourth round fucking pick by the Tampa Bay.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Well, and you know what I'm looking at. Ask to
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: genty going to Dallas this year.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: Oh, it sounds like a pick Jerry'd make just out
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: of desperation.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: I would I would prefer that he and oh my god,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: they're about to score again.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: It gives the ball back fast to them.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: I uh.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: Where we at ship were at one time? All right,
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: wrap it up?
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well we're a little hey, I would say I
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: would say that, uh, Ashid.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Jenny to the Bears. I would like that we do
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: need a generational running back like we have had.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: In the past.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Not a big Swift fan, are you? No?
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: It was Swift in him.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Because, like I said, we lost Montgomery and I like
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Montgomery in college because I watched Montgomery run all over oum.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: I guess he's hurt. Gibbs is better than.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Upcoming games this week, Yeah, it's just it's there's three
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: games that they're the three important ones. Bengals, Steelers obviously
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: mean a lot. Then obviously you've got that Vikings Lions
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: game and it's at the Lions. That's gonna be the
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Sunday night game at seven twenty, which is gonna be huge,
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: probably one of the biggest watched games. You know, I'm concerned,
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: I mean before we get to that. And also the
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: Chiefs and Broncos game is important. I just don't know
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: how important, because the Bronco is gonna win. Obviously, Saints
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: and Bucks we've talked about, there's some importance there. And
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: other than that, the games are just junk. Atlanta play.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: They're playing Carolina, yes, and they're playing at Carolina. No,
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: they're at the Falcons Championships the bed, Yes, Atlanta.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Because I think they held the time breaker, don't they
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: they do.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: Atlanta beat him twice this year. Yeah, both with Kirk Cousins. Weird, weird,
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: weird weird. But anyway, so this is a win.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: This is the win. This is a win more than
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: just being five hundred and that makes ten.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: And we took Tampa over Tampa's you know, that's a
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: great thing about Tampa's picked at seven and a half.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: We both picked him over on that. And where is
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: the let's find that Carolina and a half. Yeah, and
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: what are they picked under? We could have got rich
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: sewn and we'd be under anyway, even if they win
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: in Vegas next year before we do this again.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Rams, good.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Arizona. We were wrong, but they're not going to make
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: the playoffs, so are they? No, they're right? What they win?
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: Eight games?
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Seven?
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: Eight games?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: They were first out of this.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: We got Dallas right, We got Philly right. What's Philly's wins?
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: They're twelve or thirteen?
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Aren't they? Thirteen to three games? We got right.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Houston we did not because I don't think they won.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: What was Houston's record? They nine? Well, they could win
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: ten because they won the South Ship.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: Okay, so if they win.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, they went none. So we got that one. We
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: got that one.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Jacksonville we messed up.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Pittsburgh got missed.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: That was my fault.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: Missed, Cincinnati.
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: Missed, the Jets missed the Bills. Good for the Bills. Chargers,
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: they're over.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Vegas. We got Vegas. We got right. What about Chicago?
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Where where'd we get on that?
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Under?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Eight and a half? We did under?
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: We did, and we got that easy, didn't we? Yes,
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: look at the Vikings seven and a half.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Wow, that's crazy, but you know that whole, that whole
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: we took Detroita that yeah, that was funck.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: That was easy. I mean we picked them almost what undefeated,
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: you know, like one loss or something. They were like, okay,
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: we got to pick a los you pick Kansas City
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: is defeated.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: I had Kansas City and they're the one seed, so
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: I mean made it right, So all right, anything else
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: I don't. Hey, women's basketball, OU one loss, still ranked
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: top ten.
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: Men's also defeated. They'll start still. It's gonna start real quick.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: This week Alabama is their game. Now rank their their
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: number number five, number number.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Five, Tennessee Old Miss, and OU are still undefeated.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Yes, but OHU plays Alabama this week and their fifth
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: rank and their fifth rank, so gonna.
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: Be a barn burner.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Boys, we'll let you go.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: Twenty eight twenty one. Now San Francisco wins. Thanks for
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: joining us.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: We'll see, well they they touchdown, they touched down their
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: winning score, and they will win this game. It's just
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: how that goes, like at Brock party, trying to make
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: some contract money with it just and then they'll finish seven.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: And do you think you had a deal with the
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: with Dan Campbell? Hey, I need money, let me live win,
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: let me win.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: I was a mystery, irrelevant and it's gonna be fun
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: and that's it's gonna be interesting. Our championship for our
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: fantasy still goes on because it's gonna close.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Dy quick update for that was out.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: We've got one twenty five to one hundred. He's at
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: ninety nine percent, so twenty five more points in the
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: next uh quarter and a half. What he is gonna
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: be tight? He said he was nervous anyway. I said
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: you need to get sixty and he only had like
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: fifty five, so I said get It was one twenty
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: five to sixty eight, So what is that? Thirty two
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: and twenty five? So he was close, he was fifty seven.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: They're getting ready. They're getting ready to start it up again.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: All right, see y'all. Thanks, We'll see you next year. Bye,
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: oh God, next year.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Bye guys.
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: H
