- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you.
- 0:01Speaker 2: That's why he's a founding member of the Odd Pods
- 0:03Speaker 2: Media Network.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yo, what up? And welcome to b F y t W.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Another chill show, Another chill show. We just max and relaxing, hanging,
- 0:49Speaker 3: all cool, shooting. Some people outside of the school and.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Not very us are very good at it because we're
- 1:01Speaker 1: all white and short and old, the exception of still sad,
- 1:08Speaker 1: my kind of young a little bit. Yeah you're getting old.
- 1:11Speaker 4: But it's gonna take I think, because oh yeah, on
- 1:17Speaker 4: one easily, I.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Want to touch the ball.
- 1:26Speaker 5: I don't have the hand eye coronation for the dribbling.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It hurts from the ball hits my hands. So yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 1: funny I should say that. Yeah, we're just gonna chill
- 1:41Speaker 1: this week because we put a lot of effort into
- 1:44Speaker 1: the shows coming up.
- 1:46Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, we're putting little effort basically.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Basically like I spent all week putting together both shows.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So I'm taking I'm taking the week.
- 1:57Speaker 7: Off for verbal verbal me.
- 2:00Speaker 1: The next two episodes are going to be pretty damn good. Yes,
- 2:03Speaker 1: you guys are going to them.
- 2:04Speaker 7: The last one we had was pretty good. We had
- 2:06Speaker 7: our Clocktower.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I mean yeah, yeah, yeah, clock Tower was and I
- 2:12Speaker 1: need to schedule the next one because I keep forgetting
- 2:14Speaker 1: to do that. God, that game is fun. I told
- 2:17Speaker 1: you also, people, I'm like, this game is fun. It's
- 2:20Speaker 1: going to be a lot of fun, and I've been
- 2:22Speaker 1: having fun.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Everybody should have seen the last episode because that was
- 2:25Speaker 6: last week's episode anyway. So if we talk about clock Tower,
- 2:29Speaker 6: which I think we should, I'm going to say right now, you.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Haven't seen it.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Oilers listened to last week's episode.
- 2:37Speaker 1: So we are going to spoil the fuck out of
- 2:39Speaker 1: last week's episode. Yes, fy t w on the clock Tower.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So if you're on the Blood of the clock Tower
- 2:45Speaker 1: fan and you don't want it spoiled for you, now
- 2:47Speaker 1: is the time to bail and go listen to that
- 2:50Speaker 1: and come back when you have because my god, that
- 2:52Speaker 1: was a fun game.
- 2:53Speaker 6: That was a great God's been stressful for you, Oh
- 2:57Speaker 6: my god.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Like he labeled the demas Thankfu has pulled the token
- 3:05Speaker 1: twice in.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Four games, the villain token three times, Scarlet Woman the
- 3:11Speaker 5: second time.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and actually the third game you didn't even play,
- 3:14Speaker 1: So you have pulled it twice out of three games.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And in the third game you still pulled an evil
- 3:21Speaker 1: Oh my.
- 3:22Speaker 5: God, man, Yeah, and the problem.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Is is that and he keeps winning.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Yeah, the problem is is that I keep winning. Also,
- 3:30Speaker 5: the other problem is.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Is that everybody's going to believe you're evil going I
- 3:33Speaker 1: know I'm going to lose friends.
- 3:36Speaker 5: I keep saying it out loud so funny. I'm not
- 3:40Speaker 5: going to call anyone out specifically. But I did get
- 3:43Speaker 5: approached after the fact last time we played making sure
- 3:46Speaker 5: our friendships are still intact. Like they approached me to
- 3:50Speaker 5: make sure was attacked because just because like there was
- 3:53Speaker 5: some heated arguments there and there.
- 3:56Speaker 1: But like, I don't it's a game. I don't take
- 3:58Speaker 1: it seriously at all.
- 3:59Speaker 5: And I'm like I was saying before, I'm like, i
- 4:02Speaker 5: gotta stop playing because I'm gonna fucking I'm gonna piss.
- 4:06Speaker 1: People off because I don't know what it is.
- 4:09Speaker 5: I played games like this in the past.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 4:15Speaker 5: I'm just extremely good at just deceiving. I don't do
- 4:20Speaker 5: it normally, and.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I think that's why it works. Yeah, people don't expect
- 4:27Speaker 1: you to lie.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Not just that, but like for some reason, I'm like,
- 4:30Speaker 5: I'm usually pretty empathetic, so I'm pretty good at reading
- 4:33Speaker 5: a room. So oftentimes I know when to kind of
- 4:37Speaker 5: push an envelope or let things.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Go right, and I think that helps a lot. That
- 4:43Speaker 1: is extremely useful when you are an IM trying to
- 4:46Speaker 1: hide from being discovered.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Yeah, and it just sometimes I'm just saying it's a
- 4:50Speaker 5: little too easy, guys. You need to need a chill,
- 4:53Speaker 5: maybe smoke some fucking weish.
- 4:55Speaker 1: But I mean, the best part of that game was
- 4:58Speaker 1: that your minion was Stevie. Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I couldn't asked for a better partner. That is
- 5:04Speaker 5: not that the partners I've had in the past were
- 5:06Speaker 5: not great. It's just Stevie and I'm.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Always over the throat person. When I played games, the
- 5:12Speaker 1: ideal minion play is to create chaos but also somehow
- 5:19Speaker 1: keep yourself out of the line of fire. And somehow
- 5:22Speaker 1: you managed it. You did get put up for nomination, yeah,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but then they overruled it and put Kristen up Insteady to.
- 5:28Speaker 7: Work out perfectly because I was worried.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I was worried.
- 5:31Speaker 6: But after I started siding with people right away, I
- 5:34Speaker 6: was just like I was telling him, like, I'm right away.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Because again spoilers, I weren't right to think.
- 5:39Speaker 6: I was like, I'm gonna try to talk to everybody
- 5:40Speaker 6: because I don't know how to play this game that well.
- 5:42Speaker 7: Blah blah blah.
- 5:44Speaker 6: I tried to get a hold of CJ right away Santos,
- 5:46Speaker 6: and he couldn't figure out that I was calling him
- 5:48Speaker 6: or something.
- 5:49Speaker 7: I was like whatever, I go to Fink.
- 5:50Speaker 6: He's like, yeah, I'm this, and I'm like, dude, that's awesome,
- 5:53Speaker 6: I'm the mayor. Blah blah blah.
- 5:55Speaker 5: There were some technical issues here and there. Some of
- 5:57Speaker 5: it might have just been human error. Yeah, like it's
- 6:00Speaker 5: still assumption.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Just fun.
- 6:02Speaker 6: Just you just you just turn everybody against one, and
- 6:05Speaker 6: usually you can do that.
- 6:07Speaker 7: Yeah, getting a couple people turned, it's like, oh damn.
- 6:09Speaker 6: But I had like the girls at each other like
- 6:12Speaker 6: within that first round already.
- 6:13Speaker 7: I'm just like, oh, they think it's Christine's.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Wild and I honestly, I honestly thought that like pretending
- 6:22Speaker 1: to be the mayor and that CJ was doubling up
- 6:25Speaker 1: and lying was a pretty baller play considering Stevie you
- 6:29Speaker 1: he was the spy. He had access to the whole grimoire,
- 6:32Speaker 1: so he could have easily figured out which characters weren't
- 6:34Speaker 1: in play and just pretended to be one of those instead.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But instead he did the not safe play yeah, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: pretended to be the same role as somebody else in
- 6:44Speaker 1: the circle, which was like, I thought you were legitimately
- 6:50Speaker 1: going to get like people were going to figure out, oh,
- 6:53Speaker 1: he can't be drunk. One of the two of you
- 6:56Speaker 1: is lying, right, But but they they did think that.
- 7:00Speaker 1: They just thought it was CJ.
- 7:02Speaker 6: And Yeah, I'm a pretty good actor thinking at least
- 7:05Speaker 6: making people think I don't know what the hell I'm
- 7:07Speaker 6: doing a lot of the time, which.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Is kind of nice.
- 7:09Speaker 5: It's easier to make people convince that you you don't
- 7:12Speaker 5: know what's happening than convincing that you do.
- 7:14Speaker 6: You screw up a few times at the beginning of
- 7:16Speaker 6: a game, like how do I get the chat to work?
- 7:17Speaker 7: How do I do this? I don't get that? Okay,
- 7:19Speaker 7: hold on.
- 7:21Speaker 5: You pause, you stagger, you stutter, and you you forget
- 7:24Speaker 5: some information, you throw at some misinformation, and then you're
- 7:28Speaker 5: going and then you backtrack on it, you know, stuff
- 7:30Speaker 5: like that.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But yeah, it's just I'm just saying a good amount
- 7:35Speaker 1: of our friends who played to.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Our show, I know I'm giving them advice. So the
- 7:39Speaker 5: next time we play, I don't feel so bad. I'm
- 7:43Speaker 5: giving them a fair advantage of knowledge.
- 7:49Speaker 1: No, that's fair, just.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Because you know fair is fair, and also you know I,
- 7:53Speaker 5: like I have.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I have seen Stevie play the I don't know what's
- 7:57Speaker 1: going on card a couple of times. Yeah he's done.
- 8:01Speaker 5: He's done it to me, and I'm like, ah, yeah, sure,
- 8:04Speaker 5: he's done it to us.
- 8:05Speaker 1: When we played Site.
- 8:06Speaker 7: I can't play.
- 8:08Speaker 1: He didn't for the first five seconds, the.
- 8:11Speaker 7: First time ever playing.
- 8:13Speaker 6: I've never played a game in my life prior to
- 8:15Speaker 6: that game.
- 8:16Speaker 1: With the moment.
- 8:16Speaker 5: But yeah, the thing is, though he's not lying, he
- 8:21Speaker 5: didn't know how to play, but this man is smarter
- 8:24Speaker 5: than he looks, and it only took him five minutes.
- 8:26Speaker 5: And then he did know how to play, but kept
- 8:28Speaker 5: pretending like he didn't because he knew.
- 8:32Speaker 1: He does look pretty smart. I do. Yeah, I got
- 8:35Speaker 1: dumb that off.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Glasses, but if you've seen him with contacts, it's fucking freaky.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot to bring my glasses.
- 8:49Speaker 5: But yeah, what was I going to say before?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Oh?
- 8:53Speaker 5: Yeah, so like he did he show you the list
- 8:56Speaker 5: of Like, no, you gave him a list and then
- 8:59Speaker 5: he basically had a list of people of who he
- 9:01Speaker 5: wanted to take out in order and he was going
- 9:04Speaker 5: to run it by me.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So that whole.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Session list, yeah, the kill list, So that whole session
- 9:11Speaker 5: we only met twice. The first time is that he
- 9:13Speaker 5: just told me like two or three people. And then
- 9:17Speaker 5: the second time we were discussing something else briefly, and
- 9:20Speaker 5: then we broke real fast so we wouldn't rouse suspicion.
- 9:24Speaker 1: But yet somehow didn't. I nearly follow.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Your list for being so like we were that insig too.
- 9:31Speaker 5: So depending on who you get as a partner in
- 9:34Speaker 5: this game, too, can mean all the difference because sometimes
- 9:37Speaker 5: we just nonverbally were just okay, this this this.
- 9:40Speaker 1: All right, and I'm going to do this.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Oh he's doing this awesome, I'm going to play off
- 9:43Speaker 5: this now.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It was so good. It was so good just watching
- 9:48Speaker 1: I love and hate Toception.
- 9:50Speaker 5: So I love him, but I hate him because I'm
- 9:52Speaker 5: too good at him and kissed people off about it.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Here's here's the raw truth about b FY tw on
- 9:57Speaker 1: the clock Tower or Blood on the clock Tower as
- 9:59Speaker 1: a whole, in that the storyteller, generally, if they're good
- 10:03Speaker 1: a good storyteller, they're going to start the game helping
- 10:06Speaker 1: the evil team because the evil team can can get
- 10:13Speaker 1: out of a lot of can get I can't say
- 10:16Speaker 1: that that they can't get out of a lot of scrapes.
- 10:20Speaker 1: They can pretty easily get into a death spiral that
- 10:23Speaker 1: they can't get out of like right away. Yes, the
- 10:25Speaker 1: good team, on the other hand, can always be given
- 10:28Speaker 1: more gifts to help them if they're struggling. And I
- 10:33Speaker 1: and another way to look at it is that the
- 10:35Speaker 1: good the evil team needs to get lucky every day.
- 10:38Speaker 1: The good team only needs to get lucky once. True,
- 10:42Speaker 1: So I start off, I generally start off helping the
- 10:46Speaker 1: evil team. However, literally after that first day, the two
- 10:51Speaker 1: of you were just running that game so hard that
- 10:55Speaker 1: I was like, almost every decision I made after that
- 10:58Speaker 1: was to help the good team. Yeah. I gave her,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I gave her drunk undertaker good information.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Yeah, you take them a handicap, which is that's got
- 11:08Speaker 5: to stop playing.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Instead of killing Crunchy, I killed Gina, whose power was
- 11:13Speaker 1: already done when you when you tried to kill the Mayor.
- 11:16Speaker 5: And that's why I was like a ship and when
- 11:18Speaker 5: I could.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Have killed Crunchy, which would have because I don't know
- 11:22Speaker 1: if you realized, Stevie, but as the spy, because your
- 11:26Speaker 1: ability reads that you can sometimes appear as a good
- 11:29Speaker 1: towns to powers. You could have nominated Crunchy who was
- 11:34Speaker 1: the virgin, and I could have gone his power pops.
- 11:38Speaker 1: You're executed immediately, everybody goes to sleep again, and then
- 11:41Speaker 1: Augie can just kill anybody else and win the game. Yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 1: we we had it one like two walls. There was
- 11:48Speaker 1: only one way I could have gone. I would have
- 11:51Speaker 1: literally had three seconds to decide what to do with.
- 11:53Speaker 7: Oh my god, and I I don't.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Know if I would have given it to you, because,
- 11:57Speaker 1: like I said, you guys running it really hard, so
- 12:00Speaker 1: I might not have. But the fact is it was an.
- 12:03Speaker 7: Option, right I had you had the like damn we
- 12:09Speaker 7: routed the spy.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Literally, nominating the virgin is a very common play because
- 12:15Speaker 1: it makes them look good. But I mean, if you've
- 12:17Speaker 1: done it very early in the game, I absolutely would
- 12:19Speaker 1: have been, all right, you're executed. But now crunch is
- 12:22Speaker 1: going to absolutely trust you, you know. So that was
- 12:26Speaker 1: always an option, and I didn't know if it accourage you.
- 12:29Speaker 7: I didn't think about that at all.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So that's one of the reasons why I left Crunchy alive.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Was like, okay, another way, this is another way the
- 12:35Speaker 1: good team can get information if anybody nominates him. Nobody did.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Literally nobody nominated him at all, So it just everything
- 12:45Speaker 1: was coming up. I know, I know, we literally.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Like when like I think the one thing that threw
- 12:52Speaker 5: CJ off the most was when he was saying something
- 12:57Speaker 5: along the lines of like, you know, being misinformed or
- 13:00Speaker 5: whatever like that. I took equal blame and then shifted.
- 13:05Speaker 5: And that's why it all went down hell, because instead
- 13:09Speaker 5: of arguing with him, I argued with him, you agree, yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 5: And that's kind of what threw everything off.
- 13:17Speaker 7: Oh my god, it was just so good.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I got these duds. I'm not gonna have.
- 13:23Speaker 5: No one's ever gonna trust me again, but that.
- 13:25Speaker 1: That whole I'm gonna man. I hope, I.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Hope if I do play next, I do get virgin
- 13:30Speaker 5: and then they just one.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I really do.
- 13:34Speaker 7: I really do Day one, everybody.
- 13:37Speaker 1: It's the only way to guarantee you get an additional day.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Because it.
- 13:43Speaker 7: Was so fucking amazing. I love that.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Are you for getting a fun story of the saint?
- 13:48Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 13:51Speaker 7: So what's the maximum number of players you can have
- 13:53Speaker 7: in that game?
- 13:54Speaker 1: I think fifteen. That's a lot. I think there are
- 13:57Speaker 1: mods that you can get it higher than that, but
- 13:59Speaker 1: I think beyond that would be crazy. She played with
- 14:04Speaker 1: first team players in Colorado and that was a lot.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I think it would be easier online because I have
- 14:11Speaker 1: all the tools and taking care of a lot of
- 14:13Speaker 1: the mechanics for me. But doing it live was fun.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It was fun, but it was it was it was
- 14:22Speaker 1: everybody I made. I made a bunch of mistakes. I
- 14:25Speaker 1: think some people were figuring out what was going on
- 14:27Speaker 1: based on where I was in the room, because they
- 14:29Speaker 1: could tell where I was walking.
- 14:31Speaker 5: It's definitely easier to do larger groups online just because
- 14:34Speaker 5: you can keep yourself more easily preoccupied while you're setting
- 14:37Speaker 5: everything up. Well, in person, you just were all sitting
- 14:40Speaker 5: there with our eyes closed, not doing anything because you
- 14:43Speaker 5: can't do it.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Trying to joke and stuff. Yeah, mind moving.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And an interesting thing that did not occur to me
- 14:49Speaker 1: when we were setting up this format is because the
- 14:52Speaker 1: storyteller can go into whatever room they want, listen to
- 14:54Speaker 1: whatever private chat they want, the storyteller can usually easily
- 14:59Speaker 1: figure it out what the bad guys are bluffing as
- 15:03Speaker 1: so if Evil needs help, he can easily like support
- 15:06Speaker 1: that with you know, information, roles that get information. You
- 15:10Speaker 1: can say, Okay, this person is the so and so. However,
- 15:14Speaker 1: because of our format where I follow one person around
- 15:17Speaker 1: the whole thing, I may not get that information, so
- 15:21Speaker 1: I may maybe hog tying myself. And I think in
- 15:25Speaker 1: later games there's a possibility that I'm going to not
- 15:27Speaker 1: support somebody's bluff getting the evil. So what you're saying
- 15:32Speaker 1: is unique. Cafy twice and I still came out on top. Listen,
- 15:36Speaker 1: I didn't have you at all. I had no idea
- 15:38Speaker 1: what you were bluffing as until the last day, but
- 15:41Speaker 1: it never came up. No, so I didn't.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Have purposely didn't bring it up, so that way it
- 15:45Speaker 5: was fresh new information that nobody could act on.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Literally, the only people who could have found you,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think would would have been Crunchy if you nominated him. Yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: which I fortune tell her if they picked you, which
- 15:56Speaker 1: they didn't the first day when they can get a
- 15:59Speaker 1: secon chance that.
- 16:02Speaker 5: That was the hardest decision I ever had to make,
- 16:05Speaker 5: you know, was playing one years we were like, oh
- 16:11Speaker 5: my god, it was a good bit, and I felt
- 16:14Speaker 5: it was so I was so happy they decided to
- 16:17Speaker 5: keep going with it.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Eisode and what I think I love more than anything
- 16:21Speaker 1: is that every episode of W someone's bringing a new
- 16:25Speaker 1: bit to the table. Everybody else just riffs on it.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So we had last time, we had what was his name,
- 16:32Speaker 1: Jeffrey Schuster from Yeah jefff Jeff being being the washerwoman
- 16:39Speaker 1: but actually playing an affect. Oh hell no, I'm the
- 16:43Speaker 1: washer woman. You know. This annoying voice said I missed it,
- 16:49Speaker 1: and all all the other characters could not wait to
- 16:52Speaker 1: kill him. They couldn't kill him like a series of thishapens.
- 16:58Speaker 1: CJ tried to kill him twice and the monk Gina
- 17:01Speaker 1: blocked his attack both times. It was. It was absolutely hilarious.
- 17:06Speaker 1: So you've got some noxious characters sticking around the whole
- 17:10Speaker 1: game and everybody wants them dead. There's just one person going.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I think they're gonna go after him so to save
- 17:16Speaker 1: and it works.
- 17:17Speaker 5: The bits do make it like good or bad. They
- 17:19Speaker 5: do make the It was.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It was an incredible choice by Matt and Oder and
- 17:23Speaker 1: I really really enjoyed it. I thought thought I kind
- 17:26Speaker 1: of were to with that too. I kind of hope
- 17:29Speaker 1: they do it again. Probably it was.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Going there because we got in a room lake because
- 17:33Speaker 6: we had the we had a housework in.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Somebody said drink water than contract, so just immediately.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Well but they did, they like they were sind Off.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Matt and Order are incredible and I'm just so blessed
- 17:55Speaker 1: to be able to call him.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Like everybody brought a little bit of something, but ye
- 17:58Speaker 5: know they they brought Dad. I'm glad they kept even.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Guy John. I mean, I feel like he still doesn't
- 18:09Speaker 1: really have a grasp on what's going on. All he
- 18:13Speaker 1: is having a great time, that's the thing. I love,
- 18:15Speaker 1: has an interesting role, some technical issues, but I I
- 18:18Speaker 1: he wound up being the butler this time, which was
- 18:21Speaker 1: a handicap more than a fun thing to do. So
- 18:23Speaker 1: I feel kind of bad. That's like twice now he's
- 18:25Speaker 1: been handed roles that he doesn't really know what to
- 18:28Speaker 1: do with, Like I should have taken time and explained
- 18:30Speaker 1: the poison.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Oh he had the poisoner before, Yeah, because that's what
- 18:34Speaker 5: I thought was like.
- 18:35Speaker 1: That's what I was messing around with the idea. He
- 18:37Speaker 1: was unfortunately picked two very poor choices for the evil
- 18:40Speaker 1: team to pick, like people who either already had information
- 18:42Speaker 1: or weren't doing anything yet. So it was just he
- 18:46Speaker 1: didn't really get a chance to actually play with the
- 18:49Speaker 1: role he's given. I'm hoping if he comes back for
- 18:51Speaker 1: a third one he gets something a little juicier to
- 18:54Speaker 1: play with. I hope he does, like the mpath or.
- 18:56Speaker 7: Something for everything is and then laminate it so I
- 19:02Speaker 7: can like dry erase. Uh yeah, I think I might
- 19:06Speaker 7: look online.
- 19:06Speaker 1: There are ones of these that that come with the
- 19:09Speaker 1: board game, so they're like everybody has one in the
- 19:11Speaker 1: physical game that we did. Yeah, but yeah, you can
- 19:15Speaker 1: absolutely like print them out and just just have them
- 19:18Speaker 1: on hand. Nice. I'm pretty sure they're available on the
- 19:22Speaker 1: Blood and the Clock to our official website that you
- 19:24Speaker 1: can just and print. Oh my gosh. Yeah, they're pretty
- 19:29Speaker 1: They're very generous about letting people play their game, you know,
- 19:32Speaker 1: just however wherever they want to do it.
- 19:35Speaker 7: Well, the second episode, this is the third episode.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yeah, this was the third episode. The fourth one. We
- 19:41Speaker 1: are going to change some things up. We're using a
- 19:43Speaker 1: different script now. Originally I thought we were going to
- 19:45Speaker 1: switch over to sects and violets, which would have been
- 19:48Speaker 1: a completely different script, all new characters and a couple
- 19:53Speaker 1: of new mechanics.
- 19:54Speaker 7: Jazz background.
- 19:56Speaker 8: It's purple, yeah, very like that.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It is. It is a it is a misinformation heavy script.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Oh a lot of people are going to be getting
- 20:09Speaker 1: some weird info. Oh so it can lead to some
- 20:14Speaker 1: it can lead to some absolutely crazy ship and some
- 20:16Speaker 1: of the minions have some of my favorite powers. What's
- 20:19Speaker 1: the minimum player? That one? The minimum I think is five.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Okay, maybe we should get five of the people who
- 20:25Speaker 5: are you can play used to this game? Yeah?
- 20:28Speaker 1: At first you can play ten Cville, which is a
- 20:30Speaker 1: faster version of Blood and Clocked Tower. But in Tencville,
- 20:34Speaker 1: the evil players do not get to know who each
- 20:37Speaker 1: other are. Oh wow, the Demon has to go without
- 20:39Speaker 1: knowing who their minion is and Mini has to go
- 20:41Speaker 1: without knowing. That's scary. Yeah, they lose the game.
- 20:47Speaker 5: If then I'm just thinking if if it's if it's
- 20:49Speaker 5: more misinvasion, miss information based, and like the rough, therefore
- 20:53Speaker 5: emotionally harder for people. Sometimes you might want to get
- 20:57Speaker 5: your most veteran people in there to play. That way,
- 21:00Speaker 5: there's nothing wires. Yeah yeah, yeah, I'll actually be confused
- 21:04Speaker 5: as time for real again.
- 21:05Speaker 1: That way, when you.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Do play again, they can actually help teach people.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I brought that up because I thought I was going
- 21:11Speaker 1: to do that, But the more I think about it,
- 21:12Speaker 1: the more I think maybe we should do like a segue.
- 21:15Speaker 1: So I think there's a script called The Trouble with Violets,
- 21:19Speaker 1: which is a mishmash of trouble Brewing and sex and violets.
- 21:23Speaker 1: So it's going to be some characters are familiar and
- 21:25Speaker 1: some characters are new, okay, So I think for our
- 21:29Speaker 1: fourth episode we will do that bridge to let players
- 21:33Speaker 1: you get to know the new characters a little bit,
- 21:35Speaker 1: and then the episode after that we will jump fully
- 21:38Speaker 1: into sex and Violets and try out the complete new
- 21:42Speaker 1: script with some experience under people's belts, so they're not
- 21:46Speaker 1: going into this script blind because it can be a lot.
- 21:50Speaker 1: There's a new mechanic called madness, which trips a lot
- 21:54Speaker 1: of people up. It is a completely like it already
- 21:58Speaker 1: is it completely optional mechanic. But if you are let's
- 22:01Speaker 1: say you are the you're the artist, and you are
- 22:04Speaker 1: made mad that you are another role to call something
- 22:09Speaker 1: like that. If you are the artist and you're made
- 22:12Speaker 1: mad that you're the clockmaker, you have to spend the
- 22:15Speaker 1: next day earnestly trying to get people to believe that
- 22:20Speaker 1: you have been the clockmaker this whole time. Madness basically
- 22:24Speaker 1: means you believe that's awesome, and if you don't. If
- 22:30Speaker 1: you don't do it, I can execute you at any
- 22:33Speaker 1: time and end the day.
- 22:35Speaker 6: What.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy, but it's also a play to immediately say, hey, guys,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I was made mad that i'm this character and it's
- 22:45Speaker 1: your choice to do it. Then I have to decide
- 22:47Speaker 1: whether it's of more value to immediately kill you an
- 22:50Speaker 1: end of the day or to not do it and
- 22:52Speaker 1: let people think that you might be lying, because.
- 22:55Speaker 6: You could tell somebody early on you're someone in the
- 22:57Speaker 6: else and then you become mad and then you're like, no,
- 22:59Speaker 6: I'm sorry, I'm actually this.
- 23:01Speaker 9: It's a really fun original it's really fun mechanic when.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Do it, but it also it also it can also
- 23:11Speaker 1: trip people up, and it can also be a bit
- 23:13Speaker 1: too much for people to understand. So that's why it's
- 23:15Speaker 1: an optional mechanic. You can choose to engage with it
- 23:18Speaker 1: or not. It's your call, but I get to make
- 23:21Speaker 1: the call. What happens when you That could happen to
- 23:23Speaker 1: any role. There is a there is a minion that
- 23:26Speaker 1: causes players to become mad. There are also characters who
- 23:30Speaker 1: become mad if a specific thing happens.
- 23:32Speaker 6: Question, can that character make the evil ones mad? Yes,
- 23:37Speaker 6: that's fucking awesome, Yes.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Fucking god, yeah, absolutely can't. It's their choice. I want
- 23:44Speaker 1: to play that. You want to know something even crazier. So,
- 23:49Speaker 1: another minion in sex and violence is called the pit Hag.
- 23:52Speaker 1: The pit Haag's ability is you change one character into
- 23:56Speaker 1: another character. If you make a demon this way, kills
- 24:02Speaker 1: their arbitrary Yeah. So what this means is they can
- 24:06Speaker 1: literally make a good player into a good demon. However,
- 24:12Speaker 1: it's not a wise idea to do so, because they
- 24:14Speaker 1: can literally come out and say, hey, guys, I'm the demon,
- 24:17Speaker 1: come kill me. And then good wins because he's a
- 24:22Speaker 1: good He's still a good player, he's still on the
- 24:24Speaker 1: good team, and he needs the demon to die. That
- 24:27Speaker 1: having been said, some good demons are like, fuck it,
- 24:29Speaker 1: I'm just gonna start killing people hoping I get the
- 24:31Speaker 1: other time. And also you can you can also do
- 24:38Speaker 1: things like the pitag changes themselves into a demon, and
- 24:42Speaker 1: then I decide, well, there can't be two demons on
- 24:44Speaker 1: the evil team. I immediately that arbitrary kill thing lets
- 24:48Speaker 1: me go, Okay, the original demon dies, you are now
- 24:52Speaker 1: the new demon, and you can be a completely different demon.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Because there's four different demons in the sex and Violence thing.
- 24:58Speaker 1: They all have different, slightly different abilities. So there's so
- 25:01Speaker 1: many fun things that the pit Hack can do to
- 25:04Speaker 1: mess with the good team or make the evil team stronger.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Like it's just it's wild. But I mean, the thing
- 25:11Speaker 1: that's important is that your character does not change alignment.
- 25:15Speaker 1: If you were evil, you're still on the evil team.
- 25:17Speaker 1: If you were good, you're still on the good team.
- 25:19Speaker 1: So you have to be careful about what you do.
- 25:21Speaker 1: But you can absolutely make a good minion. You can
- 25:24Speaker 1: make an evil townsfolk. You can you can literally do
- 25:27Speaker 1: can make another virgin. If the virgin's on the same
- 25:31Speaker 1: script as the pit Hack Insects and Violence, the Virgin
- 25:33Speaker 1: isn't there, Okay, the virgins on trouble Brewing. But yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 1: it's it's a lot of fun. I can't wait to.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Get dude, I'm just giddy just thinking about it.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Playing. I'm gonna stop playing. I want to play this.
- 25:48Speaker 1: It's gonna be wild.
- 25:48Speaker 6: It's gone switch Like there was like a five minutes
- 25:52Speaker 6: in between.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I can't wait. We can't wait. So yeah, that's the plan.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Uh yeah, we hit about that point. So we're gonna
- 26:02Speaker 1: take a quick break. When we come back, we're gonna
- 26:04Speaker 1: talk more about what we've been up to right after this. Wow,
- 26:15Speaker 1: pound mail bag, pou pound pound pound mail Bagoo? Getting
- 26:22Speaker 1: them lit us? What is up? It is time for
- 26:25Speaker 1: the mail bag, Stevie. What do we got today? Oh?
- 26:28Speaker 9: Shoot, we got stuff on the mail bag? Man, I
- 26:30Speaker 9: don't forgot. Sorry, we literally talked about it. It was like
- 26:37Speaker 9: listening to It's so soon. It's like listening to a podcast. Man,
- 26:42Speaker 9: you're listening.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It's like listening to her comforting and sexy. Oh yeah,
- 26:48Speaker 1: to be back to the real world. What what do
- 26:51Speaker 1: we have in our mailbag?
- 26:52Speaker 5: Sir?
- 26:53Speaker 6: Oh? We have our first comment from Patreon show three
- 26:57Speaker 6: twenty six Outdoor Smoke Show.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I haven't listened to that one.
- 27:01Speaker 7: Okay, So what we did.
- 27:06Speaker 6: Here, I'm just gonna say, because a description is small,
- 27:09Speaker 6: Aaron went missing this weekend during an author event in
- 27:11Speaker 6: another city. But that's okay because Duffy and Midnight Smoker
- 27:15Speaker 6: here to grill, get baked and converged.
- 27:17Speaker 1: It was experimental.
- 27:19Speaker 7: Yes, we had to try something. This is what happens
- 27:22Speaker 7: when we leave this yow up?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Did he just do goofble? You enjoy being called uffe
- 27:25Speaker 1: Now it's okay, okay. First smoke shows that I was
- 27:29Speaker 1: refusing to call you that because I thought originally you
- 27:31Speaker 1: did not like that nickname.
- 27:33Speaker 7: Oh no, it's just high persona. It's higher a persona.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You could call me asshole. I don't give a ship.
- 27:40Speaker 1: We're friends, right, excuse me? Button?
- 27:46Speaker 7: All right?
- 27:47Speaker 6: Was that?
- 27:48Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 27:48Speaker 1: You want to a bit? Rights. It's funny because when
- 27:51Speaker 1: I started listening to your podcast, I didn't really have
- 27:53Speaker 1: any interest in the just talking episodes. Now, since I
- 27:56Speaker 1: live alone, I really enjoy them, like sitting with friends.
- 27:58Speaker 1: They just can't hear me because I'm a I wish
- 28:03Speaker 1: I could talk. Because bolt Gun is fucking awesome. Much
- 28:07Speaker 1: on that game Holy Ship, you guys talked about bolt Gun. Yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I haven't heard. It's gonna be one of my first
- 28:13Speaker 1: streams I started. I started getting to have a great time.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Oh I saw him play a little bit.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It is so it is so like Doom and Quake coded.
- 28:21Speaker 1: You are going to have a blast. Absolutely. It's a
- 28:25Speaker 1: fantastic name and the levels are just really creatively designed.
- 28:28Speaker 1: It's really well done from top to bottom.
- 28:31Speaker 7: It's gonna be so cool.
- 28:32Speaker 6: I'm excited I'm super am excited because he played it
- 28:35Speaker 6: and got it for me.
- 28:36Speaker 1: He's like, you gotta do this.
- 28:36Speaker 6: I was like, I'm gonna wait until I started streaming,
- 28:38Speaker 6: and I gotta throw it up on there that first time.
- 28:40Speaker 1: And it looks so good.
- 28:42Speaker 7: Yeah, and I heard the music is fucking amazing.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Thoroughly second eight bit and yes, yeah, man, we'd love
- 28:48Speaker 1: to have you on if you want to come chat
- 28:50Speaker 1: with us, that'd be fun, man. Yeah, so just hit
- 28:53Speaker 1: us up.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Also, we did, we did have permission to release the
- 28:59Speaker 6: video recording of our run with Burgles Supply Company. Well yeah, yeah,
- 29:06Speaker 6: so it is on our YouTube. It's obviously on our Patreon. Still, hell,
- 29:10Speaker 6: we're all good, but it's on our YouTube channel. We're
- 29:12Speaker 6: gonna definitely revisit that. My god, we want to play
- 29:14Speaker 6: agast because.
- 29:15Speaker 1: We want to play that again.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Even it was just the three of us, so many.
- 29:19Speaker 1: People just play you have to six like to try.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Yeah, we know two other people who got it. Yeah,
- 29:28Speaker 6: so we'll talk to one of them.
- 29:29Speaker 1: C J got it.
- 29:30Speaker 7: I know he bought it after watching. So yeah, well
- 29:33Speaker 7: we'll maybe.
- 29:34Speaker 1: We'll get ahold of the around what we can do.
- 29:37Speaker 6: That'd be fun as hell and then find a time,
- 29:38Speaker 6: So thanks a but hell yeah, man, we'll get up
- 29:40Speaker 6: on that, okay. And this one, this comment comes from
- 29:45Speaker 6: show three twenty seven to one. After that b f
- 29:48Speaker 6: y t w on The clock Tower episode three, the
- 29:51Speaker 6: Drunk and the Two Headed Fortune Teller.
- 29:53Speaker 5: Ones that we spoiler eated earlier about.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, we spoiled it hard, Bill MS is great listening
- 30:00Speaker 1: to you guys play this awesome. Man. I'm glad people
- 30:03Speaker 1: are enjoying it as much as we're enjoying.
- 30:05Speaker 5: It's something different, but it's still a game, and it's
- 30:07Speaker 5: still fun.
- 30:08Speaker 6: I have and it's different every time, even though it's
- 30:10Speaker 6: the same game. It's different every single time.
- 30:13Speaker 5: And it's chaos and confusion and every single every time,
- 30:18Speaker 5: and al sometimes have thrown in.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Bits in between, just makes it so much better.
- 30:23Speaker 5: It's always make it better.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I have enjoyed every single episode so much.
- 30:28Speaker 6: Yeah, they've been freaking fun as well. Do even like
- 30:30Speaker 6: the ones we weren't on, I've still been having a
- 30:32Speaker 6: good time with And then we got a voicemail. It's
- 30:38Speaker 6: a voice message, a voice message from not Stevie, from
- 30:42Speaker 6: not Steve.
- 30:44Speaker 5: That's an interesting that it's attached to.
- 30:49Speaker 7: This Let's see I don't know if you heard the
- 30:58Speaker 7: episode or not.
- 31:00Speaker 10: We're at your singing, but don't ever leave me with
- 31:04Speaker 10: all you again.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Oh dude, he just left me there.
- 31:09Speaker 10: Man, Like, seriously, you can't take days off like anymore.
- 31:15Speaker 1: You need to be on the show. All right, I
- 31:19Speaker 1: love you.
- 31:23Speaker 5: What did you do see that would have hit? I mean, actually,
- 31:26Speaker 5: you haven't seen the episode yet, so that does That
- 31:29Speaker 5: is an interesting thing.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I'm like, if you see the episode, that would make sense.
- 31:34Speaker 1: What on earth?
- 31:35Speaker 5: No, I guess you're gonna have to find out.
- 31:40Speaker 7: Oh god, yeah, oh god, Well watch our bullshit.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Okay, Sorry, well I guess that's it for now. Thanks
- 31:50Speaker 1: for listening to the mail bag. Now back to your
- 31:53Speaker 1: regularly schedule. Be a Fight t w.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Yo.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Chill Show. And we just spent
- 32:16Speaker 1: part one talking about b f I tw on the
- 32:18Speaker 1: clock tower and that's all been a lot of fun. Yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 1: What else have you guys been up to? Holy fuck?
- 32:23Speaker 1: I usually go first, but we'll switch it up. Let's
- 32:25Speaker 1: switch it up.
- 32:26Speaker 6: Let me start with the polyamorous game about zombies.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Oh oh shit, okay, a polyamorous game about zombie Probably not,
- 32:35Speaker 1: but the name of it is called Dead Polly, So
- 32:36Speaker 1: I just assume. Yeah, so I don't know about that one.
- 32:44Speaker 7: Oh my god, somebody needs to make that please.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I mean maybe I don't know.
- 32:48Speaker 5: We've only played like essentially five minutes into it.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I think I screwed up the server.
- 32:53Speaker 6: Okay, regardless, it's a survival game, but it's the the
- 32:58Speaker 6: assets are from what what do you think the assets are?
- 32:59Speaker 5: So? So it's a survival zombie survival game essentially, but
- 33:05Speaker 5: it's like in a three D it's like in a
- 33:07Speaker 5: PUBG style where you can neither play third person or
- 33:11Speaker 5: first person. Uh, the controls are very.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Much like like PUBG or ARMA. It's all PvE or
- 33:19Speaker 1: PvP however you want, but we do PvE.
- 33:21Speaker 5: So it's all TV private server zombies. You build bases,
- 33:26Speaker 5: stuff like that. You have scavenge for drink, you have
- 33:28Speaker 5: to scavenger your stuff, you find weapons.
- 33:31Speaker 1: There's a bunch.
- 33:33Speaker 5: Of random ship we're looking for, and apparently there is
- 33:35Speaker 5: a storyline, we just haven't discovered it yet.
- 33:37Speaker 6: But you spawn in randomly on the map. Everybody gets
- 33:39Speaker 6: a map. You spawn in randomly. So far what we
- 33:42Speaker 6: can tell.
- 33:42Speaker 5: I think you can actually select where you could spawn.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Two. I think you're just stupid and hit the.
- 33:46Speaker 5: Random spun instead of an idiot instead of hitting the
- 33:49Speaker 5: select are spawn.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But is chill as hell? Dude, It's like, all right,
- 33:54Speaker 1: we just chilling. It's four bucks. It's on sale right now.
- 33:58Speaker 5: Yeah, summer sales sales. I mean, I don't know if
- 34:01Speaker 5: it'll be on sale when I get fifty people.
- 34:03Speaker 6: Still, but yeah, so it's been chill and you can
- 34:08Speaker 6: break everything down pretty pretty early.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Access.
- 34:11Speaker 7: Yeah, obviously take that with the greatest sub So there
- 34:13Speaker 7: are issues, but that's fine.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Something fun to put that.
- 34:16Speaker 7: Any game cheap, But yeah, that's been nice.
- 34:19Speaker 1: If you guys have enjoyed it, I mean I would
- 34:21Speaker 1: get down on it jump speaking of it, I already
- 34:27Speaker 1: bought Gamble with your friends. Oh yeah, like you definitely, guys.
- 34:31Speaker 5: That was the next one. We're going to talk about
- 34:33Speaker 5: my walking you talk about it, Okay, I bought it
- 34:36Speaker 5: this morning.
- 34:37Speaker 1: If you guys don't know, okay, yeah, hell yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 6: I mean I like to gamble, not just with my
- 34:42Speaker 6: money but with my life.
- 34:45Speaker 5: I say, used to having an addiction, and you never
- 34:48Speaker 5: really truly break addictions because they can only relapse at
- 34:51Speaker 5: any time.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But I can't.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Let's just say I lost lots of money to some
- 34:57Speaker 6: not some nice people regardles, it's I can all get
- 35:00Speaker 6: taken care of. So I stopped gambling and then like
- 35:02Speaker 6: I had restrictions. Now I can go if I want.
- 35:05Speaker 6: I'm just very restrictive of what I can and cannot do.
- 35:08Speaker 6: But I've had that itch for a while. Every time
- 35:10Speaker 6: we go to Vegas, there's just not like a lot.
- 35:11Speaker 6: But every other couple of years or so, I go there,
- 35:13Speaker 6: hang out with friends and stuff, We do shit, and
- 35:16Speaker 6: I spend like five hundred bucks for gambling.
- 35:18Speaker 1: This is fun, you know. I have a good time.
- 35:20Speaker 1: It's not machines and whatnot.
- 35:21Speaker 7: Maybe a table or two.
- 35:22Speaker 6: And I'm begetting to it lately and I'm like, oh,
- 35:24Speaker 6: I'm gonna go to Niagara Falls because it's cheap. And
- 35:28Speaker 6: then I was like, oh Steam Summer sell recommendations and that,
- 35:33Speaker 6: and this came up with one of my recommendations, and
- 35:35Speaker 6: I'm like, let's check this out. And I'm like looking
- 35:36Speaker 6: at him, like this looks stupid and fun.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Fuck it.
- 35:39Speaker 7: I was like, so I'll grab it for or I
- 35:41Speaker 7: didn't grab it, No, I put it in.
- 35:42Speaker 6: My favorite thing, and I'm like, dude, dud, dude, whatever,
- 35:45Speaker 6: and I'm like, I'll get it eventually, probably this week
- 35:48Speaker 6: when I look more into it and I come upstairs
- 35:50Speaker 6: and all he is like, oh, yeah, there was some
- 35:51Speaker 6: new updates whatever, like what. So I get on the
- 35:53Speaker 6: Steam and I'm updated. I'm like, now I should up
- 35:55Speaker 6: He's like, no, it's something up there, and I hit it.
- 35:56Speaker 6: It's a motherfucker. I hit the notification button and I'm like,
- 36:00Speaker 6: you dick. He's like, he bought it for me, him,
- 36:02Speaker 6: Pixie and Avocado and Ship. I'm like, that's fucking awesome, dude.
- 36:06Speaker 6: So we played.
- 36:09Speaker 1: It's so stupid. It's so much fun. They got like
- 36:12Speaker 1: it's actual, like you know, actual FO three. It's awesome, Like.
- 36:22Speaker 5: Basically it's completely again probability, though I guess there might
- 36:26Speaker 5: be some cases where some of the tables might actually
- 36:29Speaker 5: be waited.
- 36:29Speaker 1: You just don't know. Yeah, but it's.
- 36:32Speaker 7: Fun and you got it.
- 36:34Speaker 6: There's something else we could jump into and play, which
- 36:37Speaker 6: it's great man, Like you can get a little buffs
- 36:39Speaker 6: ahead of time. You get these tickets for cosmetics or
- 36:42Speaker 6: it's like rogue.
- 36:43Speaker 7: It's a roguelike a little bit, yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 5: Because you get because there's a random special items, yeah,
- 36:47Speaker 5: random bonuses to change things or redo or.
- 36:50Speaker 6: A yeah, or increase percentages and ship. So it's really
- 36:54Speaker 6: fucking need So if you like gambling but don't want
- 36:56Speaker 6: to spend it like real money, aside from the initial cost,
- 36:59Speaker 6: gamble with your friends.
- 37:00Speaker 8: It was less than five bucks on it, but there's
- 37:03Speaker 8: no reason not to know. I think that's the reason
- 37:05Speaker 8: we friends and you like gambling it. Yeah, yeah, I
- 37:09Speaker 8: think you could have up to six that one. It's
- 37:11Speaker 8: a lot so you can have a bunch going. And
- 37:13Speaker 8: it's funny because everybody shares the same pool of money.
- 37:16Speaker 8: So you see somebody betting way too much over there
- 37:18Speaker 8: and beat him with a bat. You're not going away
- 37:20Speaker 8: from that gambling table.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Shooting their limbs, trade them for money, you.
- 37:25Speaker 6: Throw them inside the machine, and you take their mouth
- 37:26Speaker 6: away so they can't talk to you anymore.
- 37:29Speaker 5: Yeah, it's great.
- 37:30Speaker 1: It's a it's fun, but it's all cartoon.
- 37:34Speaker 7: But yeah, that was another one that was fun.
- 37:37Speaker 6: And then all you also cartoon right found on discount
- 37:42Speaker 6: for us, and we were waiting to come on discount
- 37:44Speaker 6: to even purchase because it's something I wasn't gonna pay
- 37:46Speaker 6: full price for.
- 37:47Speaker 7: Was a diablo for it did go on sell as.
- 37:50Speaker 5: West standard game man.
- 37:51Speaker 7: You have to stand, which is all I'm getting, Which
- 37:54Speaker 7: is fine.
- 37:55Speaker 1: We got it.
- 37:56Speaker 6: We know the Fink Show has been talking about it
- 37:58Speaker 6: for a long long time and they've been they have
- 38:00Speaker 6: a Discord server just for it and shit. So we
- 38:04Speaker 6: got into it, and you know what, it's not bad.
- 38:08Speaker 6: I'm still die hard to expansion obviously, and then one,
- 38:12Speaker 6: this is my second favorite. Three is garbage in my eyes. Still,
- 38:15Speaker 6: I don't care.
- 38:16Speaker 7: Four is not bad.
- 38:18Speaker 1: It's satisfying.
- 38:19Speaker 7: The play. I can't play a lot at once.
- 38:21Speaker 6: I can play for like an hour or two at
- 38:22Speaker 6: the most. But it's fun. I'm having a good time
- 38:26Speaker 6: playing the album. I'm not paying too much attention to
- 38:27Speaker 6: his story because I'm just like hanging out with It's.
- 38:29Speaker 5: One of those games you could just turn your brain
- 38:31Speaker 5: off and do stump something for like an hour, like, Okay,
- 38:35Speaker 5: I accomplished something.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I don't know what, but something.
- 38:39Speaker 5: I mean, I mean, you do made They're like at
- 38:41Speaker 5: least for right now.
- 38:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Yeah, numbers do go up, your equipment does get better,
- 38:47Speaker 5: you do get more resources that you can go put
- 38:50Speaker 5: towards getting better ship.
- 38:51Speaker 1: And it's satisfying. Well, there is a bit of satisfication.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Satisfation, Yeah, but that was nice.
- 39:00Speaker 7: Any other video game talk is if not, I guess
- 39:03Speaker 7: something else.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I had.
- 39:06Speaker 5: Not anything I've been playing currently, but something I'm looking
- 39:10Speaker 5: forward to.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what so?
- 39:14Speaker 5: Games Workshop is finally putting out some new titles, not
- 39:18Speaker 5: new titles, but just next in the series titles for
- 39:24Speaker 5: a couple of games. One they're putting out Donna War four,
- 39:28Speaker 5: which is like there arets one. I was initially kind
- 39:32Speaker 5: of excited for it, but that I'm like, it plays
- 39:35Speaker 5: a lot like Company of Heroes does, and I'm just like,
- 39:38Speaker 5: you know what, I prefer my Age of Empires esque
- 39:41Speaker 5: versions of big armies, you know, stuff like that, not
- 39:44Speaker 5: just small squads of armies kind of thing. That being said,
- 39:49Speaker 5: they're now also coming out with a new Total War game,
- 39:52Speaker 5: Total War forty K. So if you're familiar with the
- 39:55Speaker 5: Total War series, it's basically big. It's like civil like
- 40:01Speaker 5: economy management, but like big army battles and like big
- 40:08Speaker 5: army battles.
- 40:09Speaker 9: Uh.
- 40:09Speaker 5: And they did one further age of Sigma series Warhammer
- 40:13Speaker 5: one through three.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Uh, and uh, there's that's still fun.
- 40:18Speaker 5: I just installed the second one that I had, uh,
- 40:21Speaker 5: just to kind of go back and refamiliarize myself with
- 40:24Speaker 5: mechanics because with this newest one coming out that's going
- 40:27Speaker 5: to be taking place in the forty K universe, their
- 40:31Speaker 5: Grim Dark Future version, I'm looking forward to that just
- 40:35Speaker 5: because that was kind of my thing. Is like, I
- 40:37Speaker 5: like the total war thing, but I was kind of
- 40:39Speaker 5: sick and tighter of like melee, medieval melee and magic.
- 40:43Speaker 5: I wanted something more science fiction, science fiction sketch that cyberpunkinitch.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Now that I finished it, now.
- 40:50Speaker 7: Is this the one that has a different comment mechanic?
- 40:53Speaker 5: You said, Uh yeah, So like in CIV, how the
- 40:58Speaker 5: combat works is that they basically the units you have
- 41:01Speaker 5: just kind of clash with the other units with the
- 41:03Speaker 5: modifiers that they have and chunks the health and it
- 41:06Speaker 5: just kind of goes back and forth on terms. In
- 41:09Speaker 5: this one, you literally basically open up to a big
- 41:12Speaker 5: live map with massive fucking armies on both sides and
- 41:17Speaker 5: all that shit, and you it's strategic, it's tactical, it's
- 41:20Speaker 5: all of it.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Like you have to Positioning is important.
- 41:23Speaker 5: You're you're having your defense dudes in front is important.
- 41:26Speaker 5: Having your artillery in the back is important.
- 41:28Speaker 7: You know, all that shit, Having your command or not fucking.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Die, having yours not lose their morale and fucking run
- 41:34Speaker 5: off the battlefield, you know, shit like that, right right,
- 41:37Speaker 5: It's it's intense, but in the fantasy one it's fun.
- 41:42Speaker 5: But I joined at so late a stage that, like
- 41:46Speaker 5: you'd have to spend hundreds of fucking dollars all at
- 41:49Speaker 5: once just to catch up and get access to all
- 41:53Speaker 5: of the factions and all of the fucking uh all
- 41:58Speaker 5: of the fucking i'll see and ship like that. Where
- 42:01Speaker 5: at least this way starting at the beginning with everybody else.
- 42:04Speaker 5: So even if they do add DLC and shit like that, whatever,
- 42:09Speaker 5: I'll be able to get out as is. I'm not
- 42:11Speaker 5: going to be fucking spending one hundreds of dollars. All
- 42:13Speaker 5: it was to you know, actually play a game right
- 42:16Speaker 5: out for a while.
- 42:17Speaker 7: You're you're going a good point to start this one.
- 42:20Speaker 5: Yeah, a good point to start this one, and more
- 42:23Speaker 5: more aesthetically what.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I'm looking for. Nice dude, that's awesome.
- 42:28Speaker 6: I also like to update everybody on the bitch fest.
- 42:33Speaker 6: We bitched about Aggie and I pitched about him ever
- 42:35Speaker 6: getting the floor fucking tore up and redone and ship.
- 42:37Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Oggie did it. He can you cut the
- 42:40Speaker 6: rest of it out put flooring in.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I'm not surprised. Yeah, yeah, he got it all done.
- 42:45Speaker 5: There's a nice.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Couch up there. This year, it was that you put
- 42:52Speaker 1: a lot of work.
- 42:52Speaker 7: You did, dude. It looks fucking great.
- 42:54Speaker 6: You's got a TV set up on the wall mounted,
- 42:56Speaker 6: got the Nintendo switch hook to it.
- 42:58Speaker 7: Sound bari ship, don't, dude.
- 43:03Speaker 6: I get up in the morning now I have coffee
- 43:06Speaker 6: and sid on the couch and watch the fucking news. Wow,
- 43:10Speaker 6: I'm a fucking adult.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah yeah. And then.
- 43:16Speaker 6: Like, no joke ever, you're actually and even like when
- 43:20Speaker 6: we come upstairs after dinner, I don't just go into
- 43:22Speaker 6: my room for my computer. No no, no, no, no, no,
- 43:26Speaker 6: not anymore. When I come upstairs now I look into
- 43:30Speaker 6: that living room area, I see the two fluffy cats
- 43:33Speaker 6: right there, one on the couch and one underneath it.
- 43:36Speaker 6: And there's like, no, just come here, watch fish floating
- 43:39Speaker 6: the screen with us animals street sitting.
- 43:43Speaker 5: There drinking coffee watching the news is like five percent
- 43:46Speaker 5: of it at the time that TV is even on
- 43:49Speaker 5: the other ninety percent of the time is our cat Ember.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Sleeping in the middle of the couch.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Kid, the a c blowing directly on her while she's.
- 43:59Speaker 11: Just kind of lazy and happily watching the television screen
- 44:03Speaker 11: that has birds twitter tweeting, or fish swimming across our
- 44:08Speaker 11: little critters running out to the tamera and grabbing nuts
- 44:11Speaker 11: and running off.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Fantastic.
- 44:14Speaker 7: So our living area is pretty bad.
- 44:15Speaker 5: I have walked in on her literally watching the television
- 44:18Speaker 5: watching birds, like just just like as if one of us,
- 44:22Speaker 5: what's in there watching tam did you look at me
- 44:24Speaker 5: and look.
- 44:24Speaker 7: Back at the TV and just go back to watching
- 44:25Speaker 7: them watching birds?
- 44:30Speaker 1: Awesome? So that's been awesome as hell. Yeah, and then
- 44:35Speaker 1: that's it. That's it, I think.
- 44:37Speaker 7: So that's all I wrote down. We got new stuff,
- 44:39Speaker 7: we got a new sound.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we got new stuff in the studio. Yeah, talk
- 44:44Speaker 1: about it. Fantastic. Yeah. I have a little mute button
- 44:47Speaker 1: literally right in front of me, so if I'm ever
- 44:49Speaker 1: about to cough, I can just cut it off. Or
- 44:51Speaker 1: if we ever wanted to play they game where you
- 44:53Speaker 1: have to guess what I'm say, you can just try
- 44:56Speaker 1: and fill in the work that I'm about to say,
- 44:58Speaker 1: you know, and that a lot of you know, I
- 45:01Speaker 1: just pressing that button. That's a good fought. There is.
- 45:05Speaker 1: There is literally a game show called Blackout. I think
- 45:07Speaker 1: that uses a mute button.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Why.
- 45:10Speaker 1: People have twenty seconds to describe the thing, and then
- 45:12Speaker 1: their opponents have to mute the important parts of what
- 45:14Speaker 1: they just said to try and stop their opponents from
- 45:17Speaker 1: figuring out what they're talking about. No, it's neat. That
- 45:20Speaker 1: would be kind of.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Yahid we'd have to be able to record and immediately
- 45:27Speaker 4: play back whatever we just recorded and then mute that, right,
- 45:31Speaker 4: but not mute while live recording, so that would be difficult.
- 45:34Speaker 5: He basically would have to record the message through his mic,
- 45:37Speaker 5: but manually muting the part he needed to mute, and
- 45:41Speaker 5: then yeah, and then you have to play that back.
- 45:44Speaker 5: I could do it, but his voice wouldn't fill in
- 45:46Speaker 5: the bank style.
- 45:47Speaker 7: Yeah, that would be so difficult.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be very difficult, but it'd be time consuming.
- 45:52Speaker 1: It'd be funny.
- 45:52Speaker 7: You play little games in between each.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I'm just saying that it's a cool, neat, neat piece
- 45:56Speaker 1: of tech. He's also got an upgraded headset amplifier.
- 46:00Speaker 5: A yeah, where all the ports work, not just three
- 46:04Speaker 5: of them.
- 46:05Speaker 6: Just maybe to be fair, it's funny that had said Halpifire,
- 46:09Speaker 6: We had was one of the professional like deck like
- 46:12Speaker 6: it goes to Iraq and stuff, and it's also from
- 46:16Speaker 6: the Mister b S Show. Today's like it was bought
- 46:19Speaker 6: back then and it's traveled multiple states multiple.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Times and it probably doesn't.
- 46:25Speaker 6: Yeah, and it's just never been taking apart, repaired, soldered.
- 46:28Speaker 6: So it was time to upgrade a couple of things.
- 46:31Speaker 6: So Aaron got his his mute box. He's the first
- 46:34Speaker 6: one to test this out. Yeah, it go is Belchi
- 46:36Speaker 6: and cough the most we call a lot to do.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah, quite a bit.
- 46:43Speaker 6: We don't afford one at a time. There's surprising is
- 46:46Speaker 6: expensive for how little they are.
- 46:48Speaker 5: What they do.
- 46:49Speaker 1: It's crazy, like audio equipment is not cheap.
- 46:51Speaker 7: No, it's nice crazy.
- 46:53Speaker 1: All right, let's go to our second break. When we
- 46:55Speaker 1: come back, we're gonna wrap things up with what I've
- 46:57Speaker 1: been up to. Yeah, and we'll do that right after this.
- 47:08Speaker 10: If you're into recreational cannabis and are in Lewis in
- 47:11Speaker 10: New York near the Suscarora Native Reservation, check out weed stock.
- 47:16Speaker 10: These guys have the prime herb. On top of that,
- 47:19Speaker 10: they have concentrates, fapes, edibles, practically anything you want, so
- 47:23Speaker 10: go hit up weed stock in Lewis to New York.
- 47:26Speaker 10: Tell them be a L T W sent you.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Okay, welcome back, what's up, We're back, We're back. I forgot.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I forgot I was a chill show to talk about
- 47:50Speaker 1: what I'm going up to. I'm trying to try not
- 47:52Speaker 1: to worry so much of just talking about tech. But
- 47:56Speaker 1: I will say that I did finally buy myself some
- 48:00Speaker 1: for my birthday with all my birthday money, because I
- 48:03Speaker 1: talked to Stevie, and I think we did it off air,
- 48:05Speaker 1: but I talked to Stevie and Augie about how I
- 48:07Speaker 1: had all this birthday money and didn't know what to
- 48:10Speaker 1: do with it. Legitimately was just like, Uh, the thing is,
- 48:17Speaker 1: when you've been working on like games and gaming machines
- 48:20Speaker 1: as long as I have, it's hard to find something
- 48:23Speaker 1: new that you haven't done already. That's fair. At this point,
- 48:26Speaker 1: it is it is practically impossible. Like I've built my
- 48:29Speaker 1: own console, I've built my own handhelds. I've done so much.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I've purchased you know, Android handhelds, Windows handhelds, Windows mini PCs,
- 48:41Speaker 1: Android minipcs, you know, just Linux, all sorts of fun
- 48:45Speaker 1: stuff everything. At this point, I feel like, I've done
- 48:48Speaker 1: just about every he's done it all. I can't think
- 48:52Speaker 1: of something new to do. I've modified all my game systems.
- 48:55Speaker 1: All of them are modeled. Now now that I have
- 48:57Speaker 1: a PlayStation, every single one is modeled. Everything one that
- 48:59Speaker 1: I still have anyways modic. Yeah what the PlayStation, Saturn, Dreamcast,
- 49:05Speaker 1: and GameCube all modit. So I literally don't. I can't
- 49:10Speaker 1: think of another project to do. So I decided to
- 49:14Speaker 1: go for like, just something extravagant and stupid, and it
- 49:21Speaker 1: felt done at the time, but the more I play
- 49:22Speaker 1: with it, the more I appreciate it. I picked up
- 49:26Speaker 1: a handheld called the A y N four. I've never
- 49:29Speaker 1: heard of it now. The original idea behind getting this
- 49:32Speaker 1: was the fact that I still have my DS, but
- 49:35Speaker 1: my I could not find a three DS for the
- 49:37Speaker 1: life of me.
- 49:38Speaker 7: It was just gone on that flips up horizontally, right.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's got two screens and it flips its landscape,
- 49:44Speaker 1: but it flips up to the second screens on top,
- 49:46Speaker 1: and its speakers and so on and so forth. DS
- 49:49Speaker 1: is great. Love that system. Three DS I didn't play
- 49:51Speaker 1: with as much, but I had one, and I was like,
- 49:54Speaker 1: I couldn't find it for the life of me. I
- 49:56Speaker 1: was like, did I sell it? I don't think so,
- 49:57Speaker 1: but I might have so. I just kind of because
- 50:00Speaker 1: I sold a bunch of my gaming stuff when I
- 50:02Speaker 1: was first getting my books out there, and I was
- 50:07Speaker 1: just like, uh, what can I do to replace that?
- 50:10Speaker 1: It can do I just buy another three DS, and
- 50:12Speaker 1: I was like, no, let's do something they can do
- 50:14Speaker 1: a little bit more So. The ay and Thor is
- 50:17Speaker 1: like the higher end. It's not the highest end. The
- 50:20Speaker 1: highest end is a ridiculous least of a machine called
- 50:23Speaker 1: the like the one X player something or other. I
- 50:26Speaker 1: can't remember the name of it. But it was like
- 50:28Speaker 1: this fully modular, like it had two screens, but also
- 50:32Speaker 1: you could flip around the buttons and the analog sticks
- 50:37Speaker 1: into some transformer like configuration. It's bizarre. It's bizarre, and
- 50:42Speaker 1: it looked cool, and I was gonna pick it up
- 50:43Speaker 1: until I saw how much they wanted for it, somewhere
- 50:45Speaker 1: in the neighborhood of seven hundred dollars. Fuck that noise. Instead,
- 50:51Speaker 1: I got the ay and Thor, which is the mid
- 50:53Speaker 1: tier of the two dual screen devices that have come
- 50:56Speaker 1: out recently. Ay and Thor has like a three point
- 51:01Speaker 1: four Gayhertz processor. It was pretty blazing fast. It's got
- 51:06Speaker 1: a solid GPU as well, and it can easily emulate
- 51:12Speaker 1: three DS and DS perfectly. So I've been playing a
- 51:16Speaker 1: bunch of DS games on there. But you know what
- 51:19Speaker 1: the thing is that I bought a used one, and
- 51:22Speaker 1: it was it was the It was the maximum used one.
- 51:26Speaker 1: To buy it at full price would have been like
- 51:28Speaker 1: four hundred and fifty dollars. I they wanted four hundred
- 51:32Speaker 1: for the used one, and I talked them down to
- 51:34Speaker 1: three fifty.
- 51:35Speaker 7: Okay, that's worth getting a use one then, and.
- 51:39Speaker 1: It has been a fantastic replacement for my three DS.
- 51:42Speaker 1: But the funniest part of it, the whole thing is
- 51:44Speaker 1: that once it was labeled as shipped, once I knew
- 51:48Speaker 1: it was on his way, I found my three DS.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Of course, of course I did, so I was like, motherfucker.
- 51:54Speaker 1: But this thing was literally an Android device. It does
- 51:57Speaker 1: not come like pre made for you. It doesn't have
- 51:59Speaker 1: game on it. It's literally just you have to do
- 52:02Speaker 1: the thing, which is kind of my favorite thing to do. Anyway,
- 52:06Speaker 1: you're gonna wipe it anyway, I was just gonna start
- 52:08Speaker 1: doing whatever. So I basically I set it up the
- 52:11Speaker 1: way I want it. I've got like a front end
- 52:13Speaker 1: it's called Cocoon Networks with both screens, which is really cool.
- 52:18Speaker 1: It also has a built in like monitor, so you
- 52:21Speaker 1: can press a button and on the bottom screen you'll
- 52:23Speaker 1: see your systems like current CPU speed, current GPU speed,
- 52:27Speaker 1: current RAM usage, temperature, FPS, all that shit. It's like FRAPs,
- 52:33Speaker 1: but you can press a button to see It's very cool,
- 52:35Speaker 1: and one of my favorite things about this machine is
- 52:38Speaker 1: not playing DS and three DS games like you would expect.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Those play great, and I've been having a ball with them.
- 52:43Speaker 1: It's been a lot of fun to play some of
- 52:45Speaker 1: these games that I haven't touched in years. But my
- 52:49Speaker 1: absolute favorite thing is to play a game on the
- 52:51Speaker 1: top screen and use the bottom screen for cheat codes
- 52:54Speaker 1: or walkthroughs. Oh my god, so I can literally like,
- 52:57Speaker 1: if I'm not sure what to do next, I literally
- 52:59Speaker 1: just put finger on the bottom screen, scroll up to
- 53:01Speaker 1: the walk through the park that I'm at, and then
- 53:04Speaker 1: just tap the top turn control of that, and then
- 53:07Speaker 1: go back to playing.
- 53:08Speaker 7: Like it's so it's sad, it's fucking co it's fucking cool.
- 53:14Speaker 1: It's so fucking convenient. I'm like, I'm sitting here going
- 53:17Speaker 1: like I spent three hundred and fifty dollars on this
- 53:20Speaker 1: thing to just play PlayStation games. Again, it feels dumb
- 53:26Speaker 1: and stupid. It genuinely does, but I've been having I've
- 53:29Speaker 1: genuinely been having a ball with it, so I feel
- 53:31Speaker 1: like I've been getting my money's worth for sure. If
- 53:35Speaker 1: you are interested in a dual screen handheld of this type,
- 53:39Speaker 1: like I said, there are three kinds. The max version
- 53:41Speaker 1: I wouldn't even bother with. I would not waste your money.
- 53:44Speaker 1: It looks cool, but it's I mean, Jesus seven dollars.
- 53:50Speaker 1: The ay and Thor is an excellent mid tier alternative.
- 53:53Speaker 1: It plays everything I've been able. You know what's the
- 53:55Speaker 1: fun thing about that is that you can use an
- 53:57Speaker 1: Android app called game Native to play Windows games on
- 54:01Speaker 1: the thing. Are you serious? I got Streets or Age
- 54:03Speaker 1: Remake working even though it didn't have a ton of
- 54:06Speaker 1: games have compatible builds like options settings out of the
- 54:12Speaker 1: box because people like would be like, it works when
- 54:15Speaker 1: I do this, and they submit that to their database
- 54:18Speaker 1: so now they know, and you can literally press a
- 54:20Speaker 1: button to use the known working configuration to just play
- 54:24Speaker 1: the game. It's one of the easiest Windows on android
- 54:28Speaker 1: setups I've ever seen. That's so cool. I played fucking things, man,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I played a lot on it. I played fucking Mass
- 54:35Speaker 1: Effect Legendary edition on this fucking thing. Yeah, I'm not
- 54:39Speaker 1: fucking around. It was wild. There were some graphics issues,
- 54:42Speaker 1: but it was playing at like a It hovered between
- 54:45Speaker 1: thirty and sixty, but it never dropped a low thirty,
- 54:48Speaker 1: so it was ultimately playable and I could have like
- 54:50Speaker 1: set it to Yeah. No, I mean it's so cool
- 54:55Speaker 1: to be to be able to play like Mass Effect
- 54:57Speaker 1: in my fucking shitter, you know. So, I mean that's cool.
- 55:02Speaker 1: But these the ay and Thor has a lot of power.
- 55:06Speaker 1: If you're just looking for like DS and three ds,
- 55:09Speaker 1: there is an Inbernick dual screen emulator that you can use.
- 55:11Speaker 1: It's a little cheaper, I think, comes down to the
- 55:13Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty two hundred Grange.
- 55:15Speaker 7: Okay, but not bad.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I would say, do your research, figure out what you
- 55:19Speaker 1: want to do with it if you're interested in this
- 55:21Speaker 1: kind of thing and the other thing I'm going to
- 55:24Speaker 1: talk about real quick before we end the show, Dragon
- 55:26Speaker 1: Age to Bilguard. Yes, I am literally this fucking close
- 55:30Speaker 1: to beating it almost. I was literally at the final mission,
- 55:34Speaker 1: like before, I took a look at the clock and said, no,
- 55:36Speaker 1: I'm not going to make it. So I just stopped
- 55:38Speaker 1: save my game and I'm like, I'm just gonna get
- 55:40Speaker 1: there on time to do the show. So literally, this
- 55:42Speaker 1: morning I was in the final steps. This game is
- 55:46Speaker 1: a lot better than I thought it was going to be.
- 55:50Speaker 1: It is easily my favorite Dragon Age game, and it's
- 55:53Speaker 1: it's not even just Eric Eeschy playing the main character
- 55:58Speaker 1: that I adore, which I do it helps a lot,
- 56:02Speaker 1: but just the gameplay has kept me going, Like the
- 56:08Speaker 1: fights are difficult but winnable, like even even on even
- 56:12Speaker 1: for a dark Soul's like reject, like reject like me
- 56:19Speaker 1: who did not get along with dark Souls at all.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't like to be frustrated. I don't
- 56:23Speaker 1: like to lose. It wastes my time and I hate it.
- 56:27Speaker 1: And I'm an adult, so I have limited time on
- 56:29Speaker 1: this earth and we all do. Yeah, so I'm like, oh, no, no, no,
- 56:35Speaker 1: but the combat is still fun even in our like
- 56:38Speaker 1: I don't know our forty or fifty that I'm at
- 56:41Speaker 1: right now, and I am still hunting for treasure in
- 56:46Speaker 1: the puzzle, Like here's what. Here's what a lot of
- 56:50Speaker 1: arbigs have failed to do is they've failed to give
- 56:54Speaker 1: you these kind of traversal puzzles, like if you figure
- 56:57Speaker 1: out how to navigate the environment correct, you can get
- 57:00Speaker 1: an additional treasure or two. This game has treasure hidden
- 57:04Speaker 1: fucking everywhere, and almost all of them require figuring out
- 57:09Speaker 1: where to go or how to use your powers to
- 57:12Speaker 1: access these treasures, and it has kept me hooked from
- 57:16Speaker 1: the beginning until the end. The story, which I thought
- 57:20Speaker 1: wasn't that good at first, has gotten better over the
- 57:22Speaker 1: course of the game. Literally in the final moments of
- 57:26Speaker 1: the game, like it has gotten to the best it
- 57:29Speaker 1: has been. The final the second to final mission, felt
- 57:34Speaker 1: a lot like the suicide mission from Mass Effect too,
- 57:37Speaker 1: and Augie will know what I'm talking about, where you
- 57:40Speaker 1: literally have to assign specific party members to handle specific
- 57:43Speaker 1: duties and if you, if you choose poorly or if
- 57:47Speaker 1: they aren't fully prepared for the suicide mission, like you
- 57:51Speaker 1: have to do their companion missions to get them fully
- 57:54Speaker 1: prepared and ready for the suicide mission. If you if
- 57:57Speaker 1: you choose poorly or if you or if they're not ready,
- 58:00Speaker 1: they can die. Oh my god. And it's even worse
- 58:04Speaker 1: in this case, because in this case, it's not just
- 58:07Speaker 1: like the seven of you on a suicide mission versus
- 58:10Speaker 1: the bad guy and you lose just one person. If
- 58:13Speaker 1: like these people fail at their duties, like you lose
- 58:15Speaker 1: a significant part of the war, like lots of people. Yeah,
- 58:22Speaker 1: so it's it's a little bit more serious. But the
- 58:24Speaker 1: fact of the matter is what this game does what
- 58:26Speaker 1: Mass Effect didn't do, which is you are going to
- 58:29Speaker 1: lose some people. And that is what's interesting to me,
- 58:33Speaker 1: is that is the point of the whole game. The game,
- 58:38Speaker 1: the game's story is all about regret and having to
- 58:43Speaker 1: make big decisions and fearing that you've made the wrong one. Uh,
- 58:47Speaker 1: And it lays into that extremely heavily in the final moments.
- 58:52Speaker 1: And it's just like, I'm like, as someone who loves
- 58:55Speaker 1: good narrative and excellent theming in their game design, Chef's
- 59:01Speaker 1: Kiss all the way down, I am excited and scared
- 59:05Speaker 1: for what the final mission is going to do to
- 59:06Speaker 1: me because I know, given the theme, it's not going
- 59:09Speaker 1: to be easy.
- 59:11Speaker 7: Heartbreaking.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna it's gonna be a little bit heartbreaking,
- 59:14Speaker 1: I'm almost sure. But it's been such a good ride,
- 59:19Speaker 1: like the characters have been excellent. There's been some really
- 59:22Speaker 1: funny lines, it's surprisingly progressive, it's it's it's just a
- 59:27Speaker 1: really it's a way better game than I feel like
- 59:29Speaker 1: it got credit for. I feel like people just slept
- 59:34Speaker 1: on it when it came out, and I don't think
- 59:36Speaker 1: they should have. I think it's better than it better
- 59:39Speaker 1: than I expected it to be by quite some margin.
- 59:43Speaker 1: And uh and yeah, I really dig it. And it's
- 59:46Speaker 1: the best of the four games. And I'm glad I'm done.
- 59:49Speaker 6: I don't want to do like, Okay, you only played
- 59:52Speaker 6: this because of who was in it. Yeah, the story
- 59:55Speaker 6: actually ended up being very good at the end.
- 59:57Speaker 7: Yeah, it's an added reward at the end.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: It started off like a fifty out of one hundred
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: and it's now sitting in a ninety. Holy shit, Like
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: it's it's way better. That's way better.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: You got to put up a little bullshit for Yeah.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: And I know a lot of people are like games
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: that get better towards the end. You know, don't waste
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: my time. You know, I put twenty hours in for
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: it to get good. Why should you? And I'm just
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: like the combat and the exploration puzzles will keep you
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: going through the game. That that's what did it for me.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Is I really enjoyed the fights. The fights have weight,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: they feel, you feel strong when you take an enemy
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: dowbt like. The game feel is very good. But it's
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: all real time. It's no longer this turn based combat shit.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: So it's literally just like an action RPG in every sense,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: which none of the previous Dragon I just succeeded at doing. Really,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: but yeah, it's it's it's way better then, It's way
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: better than it than the reputation, is it. God? I
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: think it deserves a better I think, and I'm glad
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I stuck with it, and it's I look forward to
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: finishing it either later today or tomorrow morning. Hell yeah, dude, yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: but yeah, that will do it for me. I've also
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: written a bit of put in like two thousand more
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: words getting I'm getting up there, slowly but surely, and
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I'm still hoping to get the whole thing. My first
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: draft finished by the end of July, second draft by
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: the end of September, book out by December.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: Holy Christmas book.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: That's what I'm aiming for. Hell yeah. So yeah, that
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: not much of an update otherwise on that, But that's
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: what I've been up to. So yeah, that's gonna be

- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Also did another show in the books. Hell yeah, and
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: should be saved before the electricity goes out. It's not
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: like it's just the lights, just like it's the dim
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: like being.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: No, it's because it's not a dimmer. It's not meant
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: for it.
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: Okay, I put an external dimmer on the le Okay,
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: that's going into a battery.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: That's funny, that's why.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: So because that's on, it's gonna do it more.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I was like, legitimately, word, we're gonna lose power, and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: like ship.
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: Even if we lose power, this all stays on because
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: of the battery the thing I have.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Oh nice, yeah, ok yeah, genius. Well see everything else
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: go off and be like what the fu? Yeah, because
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: all this is the Yeah, I guess I'm not going anywhere. No, no,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: You're gonna hang out
