- 0:22Speaker 1: If not, eventually, I'm really hoping it goes somewhere. Oh yeah,
- 0:30Speaker 1: I'm sure it does. But what's going on, everybody? I'm
- 0:32Speaker 1: the one, the only, the w O O K I E.
- 0:35Speaker 1: If this fails, I'll figure out Ewok's thing that he
- 0:38Speaker 1: did and put that together and put that one up.
- 0:40Speaker 1: How does that sound? But we have the PhD of
- 0:42Speaker 1: key Forge, doctor m Sheet, Hello, the hell Breaker himself,
- 0:48Speaker 1: the Minnesota Deuce.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Hello, keyboard community. You could we could also go ahead
- 0:55Speaker 2: and put our Shadows episode that we recorded back to that.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We can do that. I mean, there's the the possibility
- 1:01Speaker 1: or one of the other episodes that I never listed.
- 1:06Speaker 1: The possibilities are endless. And we have the man with
- 1:10Speaker 1: the plan who almost did something dras.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Corps today like you're forgetting our names.
- 1:20Speaker 1: M No, I'm I'm adding dramatic effect. Oh yeah, and
- 1:29Speaker 1: dras cour is room rooming. I don't really know what
- 1:31Speaker 1: that's all about.
- 1:35Speaker 2: He's having fun.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Well, since we can't do any more card scoring because
- 1:42Speaker 1: dras Corps is are you driving? Are you driving or
- 1:45Speaker 1: is somebody else driving you?
- 1:48Speaker 4: I'm driving?
- 1:50Speaker 1: Got it? That makes sense? Yeah, sweet, be careful. I
- 1:59Speaker 1: guess us is what I would I figured somebody was
- 2:02Speaker 1: driving you and.
- 2:03Speaker 2: He's going to the World board Gaming Championships, so he's excited.
- 2:06Speaker 1: He'll be fine. Oh they would run that on the
- 2:10Speaker 1: same same week as gen Con. Or does it always
- 2:15Speaker 1: fall like that or is just it just happened?
- 2:18Speaker 4: It often? Does it often? Does? It seems like a
- 2:21Speaker 4: bad idea? You know what?
- 2:24Speaker 2: It is?
- 2:24Speaker 4: A bad idea?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you'd feel like you'd get more people if like
- 2:28Speaker 1: you maybe rant like a month later. Yep, I agree,
- 2:35Speaker 1: But I mean they do respectable for themselves, right like
- 2:39Speaker 1: they do. They do good people. They do a good
- 2:41Speaker 1: amount of people.
- 2:43Speaker 4: It's a few thousands.
- 2:44Speaker 1: It's the World Series of board Gaming.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the World board Gaming Championships.
- 2:50Speaker 1: World Series of board Gaming. Is that wait? Hold on,
- 2:53Speaker 1: it's different. I was gonna say, Is that a different
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's a different conction? Huh?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Shattered Reality is right now. We're going to go through
- 3:05Speaker 1: some of the updates from that campaign as it As
- 3:09Speaker 1: we speak right now, sitting at one hundred and thirty thousand,
- 3:13Speaker 1: seven hundred and seventy six dollars with three hundred and
- 3:16Speaker 1: ninety seven backers eleven days left. I really wish we
- 3:23Speaker 1: had somebody that did cool charts and graphics to let
- 3:26Speaker 1: us know where we are pacing from the last game.
- 3:30Speaker 2: We do have a little bit of information sheep.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm here, but I'm doing research.
- 3:39Speaker 1: What's up? All right? So basically what we before the
- 3:44Speaker 1: big test.
- 3:47Speaker 2: What we do have is that right now, the difference
- 3:50Speaker 2: between the previous game found and where we are at.
- 3:55Speaker 1: This time or total at this.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Time approximately since the start of this one as compared
- 4:02Speaker 3: to the start of DM over the same the same
- 4:07Speaker 3: time span, this one is currently down approximately one hundred
- 4:11Speaker 3: and fifty backers and forty five thousand dollars. So DM
- 4:16Speaker 3: was was what that's like fifty percent higher than where
- 4:20Speaker 3: we're at now.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about yeah, about five hundred and fifty backers
- 4:25Speaker 2: compared to four hundred in about one hundred and seventy
- 4:29Speaker 2: five thousand at this point versu.
- 4:31Speaker 4: One hundred and thirty.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So really that's not a crazy amount.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It is when when forty five thousand is ten fifteen
- 4:42Speaker 3: to twenty twenty percent of your game found, fifteen percent
- 4:46Speaker 3: of your game found. Yeah, like and you're you're doing
- 4:49Speaker 3: fifteen percent now, that only is good again, it worse
- 4:55Speaker 3: probably would be my would be my thought, right, Like.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I I thought, I thought the one hundred and fifty backers.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So if we're I mean, you're you're over it by
- 5:08Speaker 2: one hundred. But basically, if you're looking at one hundred
- 5:12Speaker 2: and fifty three hundred, like.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's three hundred bucks a backer, you're missing.
- 5:20Speaker 2: That's substantial. But I'm saying, like here at it's.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Actually one of the pledges, three hundred, Like the base
- 5:25Speaker 1: pledge is like three bills right now, one sixty five
- 5:28Speaker 1: is like, that's the base pledge.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Well, that's like you get a box, you get the
- 5:33Speaker 3: name deck, you get for this, you get most of
- 5:35Speaker 3: the interesting stuff.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Okay, at least that's what it always used to be,
- 5:43Speaker 1: all right, Actually, no, I'm wow.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I know I know from a little bit I talked
- 5:50Speaker 3: to people. There are more people who intend to buy
- 5:53Speaker 3: direct from their flags. So there's always some them out
- 5:57Speaker 3: there that we don't know anything about.
- 5:59Speaker 2: And I think I think that's a solid step that
- 6:02Speaker 2: people are willing to invest in their local game stores.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Are you going through a swarm of bees right now?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really bad right now? You roll your window.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just driving.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Down the road.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Oh, I was just wondering I was wondering if you
- 6:24Speaker 1: were being attacked by bees.
- 6:26Speaker 5: No, you know how to like when you drive down
- 6:28Speaker 5: the highway and then there's those lines every like.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Thirty feet and you junk un junk junk out.
- 6:37Speaker 1: There on those little ridges on the side of the
- 6:40Speaker 1: road that are meant to wake people up when they start. Yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I just thought it was bees.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I could, I.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Could, I could run over some of that for you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: No, no, no, we're good. We don't need we don't
- 6:53Speaker 1: need all that.
- 6:54Speaker 2: We don't need sheep driving here. We want you just
- 6:57Speaker 2: to get to your events and move on.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I'm just I'm waiting for the oh shit and maybe
- 7:03Speaker 1: a tire squeal and a crash. But it's okay, don't
- 7:06Speaker 1: do that. Don't don't listen to me. Yeah, yeah, I
- 7:11Speaker 1: don't do that. But yeah, so we're down, and we're
- 7:15Speaker 1: kind of down big. How do we right the ship? Boys?
- 7:20Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I got saying there there is an amount
- 7:23Speaker 3: from game stores that will be bought. I don't sure.
- 7:26Speaker 3: We we obviously don't know, although I do know, like
- 7:29Speaker 3: our numbers, those numbers I got. I pinged up old
- 7:33Speaker 3: friend of the show JM, who's mostly out of key
- 7:36Speaker 3: Forge at this point because he dislikes everything Ghostcouty is done,
- 7:40Speaker 3: and I see, like just scrolling around some posts, I
- 7:42Speaker 3: see kryt Nato, who is a longtime friend of the
- 7:44Speaker 3: show and player with us. He's out because of what
- 7:47Speaker 3: Ghost Galaxies has done. So there's definitely player attrition going on.
- 7:55Speaker 3: So I don't I don't really know. Man. Maybe it's
- 7:58Speaker 3: yeah gen event is about to happen and there's fourteen
- 8:01Speaker 3: people signed up for it.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Is that all there still is? I thought maybe they get.
- 8:06Speaker 3: More by now, who knows?
- 8:09Speaker 1: I mean more people playing line.
- 8:13Speaker 2: But access to worlds is on the line.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Boys, Yeah, there's somebody there be like I'll pick this
- 8:22Speaker 1: up and then end up getting a world in.
- 8:24Speaker 5: I get just cheap driving right and I'm in the
- 8:27Speaker 5: car right now, I'm supposed to stop outside Pittsburgh.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I could just keep driving in Indianapolis.
- 8:36Speaker 2: You could, but you can't get a badge.
- 8:39Speaker 1: You can you can't get a ticket in to go play.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I mean you can wander around outside and try to
- 8:45Speaker 3: scalp one.
- 8:47Speaker 4: You under rest of me.
- 8:49Speaker 3: But goodness, next Like I just bought an next round
- 8:53Speaker 3: because I have dumb money and I don't care.
- 8:57Speaker 1: No, I don't do that ship other nick different nick,
- 9:02Speaker 1: different nick.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Like squash ye scout, like drinking with liquid squash the
- 9:09Speaker 5: after party, I might be worth it.
- 9:11Speaker 3: So yeah, just go, just go to hang out with
- 9:15Speaker 3: the cool people are there after the event. Yeah, so.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I'm not going to Indianapolis.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I will say game Game Found is down. The
- 9:28Speaker 2: number of backers missing is, in my opinion, more of
- 9:31Speaker 2: an issue that Obviously all of the Chris bo Me
- 9:38Speaker 2: the top backing is still sold out, but you're missing
- 9:42Speaker 2: kind of more of your consistent players. And yes we
- 9:49Speaker 2: do have some attrition, but it's there. We did go
- 9:52Speaker 2: ahead and get our first bit of information for a
- 9:55Speaker 2: stretch Goald boys.
- 9:57Speaker 1: We did. But first I'd like to go into a
- 9:59Speaker 1: segment call the random comment posts from game from Keyforde
- 10:05Speaker 1: Game Found. No, no, no, no, there's no custing.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I promise it's not about a premium pledge available right now.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yeah. So actually it says sold out, Well, it says
- 10:19Speaker 1: nineteen mins has sold out.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It happened, it had been changed the logo. But if
- 10:25Speaker 3: you look, there's actually nineteen and you can add one
- 10:28Speaker 3: to your pledge right now.
- 10:31Speaker 1: If only I had a pledge.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Somebody someone had. Yeah, no, because mine's a Yes it does.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Actually it says sold out, but yes, it's pledged nineteen.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yeah you're looking at the words, not the actuability to do.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that says.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Something right there that they didn't even sell out on.
- 10:52Speaker 1: But it's time for random thoughts with the key Forge
- 10:55Speaker 1: shattered realities, game pound coming, random bitching by people that
- 10:59Speaker 1: aren't us, another campaign that will essentially fund the new game,
- 11:04Speaker 1: where all the energy seems to be focused and not
- 11:07Speaker 1: on KeyForge. No presence at Gamma, no real answer to
- 11:11Speaker 1: the PV issue, no real op support for stores, no
- 11:15Speaker 1: advertising or marketing. No, no, no, no no. I've been
- 11:21Speaker 1: a player and supporter of the game since COVID, have
- 11:24Speaker 1: met and friended many players who have supported the game
- 11:27Speaker 1: even longer, and this is what we get for all
- 11:30Speaker 1: the support and hope for the game. Absolutely not. This
- 11:34Speaker 1: isn't going to bring key Forge back and isn't how
- 11:37Speaker 1: the game should be carried forward ie kicking and screaming
- 11:41Speaker 1: through the mud in the interest of some new and
- 11:44Speaker 1: shiny product. My list of issues goes on much too
- 11:49Speaker 1: long for one comments section, so I will by saying no,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I will not back and support this campaign, and to
- 11:56Speaker 1: the reader, I suggest you don't either. Keyfordge died in
- 12:00Speaker 1: PV and it's time to recognize that. Such a shame.
- 12:05Speaker 3: So it is funny because Ghost Galaxy was definitely a
- 12:09Speaker 3: Gamma this year. Well they didn't push any KeyForge. I
- 12:12Speaker 3: don't know. I was not there, but they're well, they
- 12:14Speaker 3: aren't listed, and I talked to somebody else who saw
- 12:17Speaker 3: them there, So I'm.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Pushing mind bug. Huh, Yeah it could have been. I
- 12:24Speaker 1: don't actually know what they were doing there, but they
- 12:25Speaker 1: were at Gamma. I mean, this is the funny thing
- 12:31Speaker 1: about this is this isn't the first time we've heard
- 12:33Speaker 1: about Like, I'm just done because they won't support local stores,
- 12:37Speaker 1: Like there's no local support to do anything.
- 12:42Speaker 3: There is very little thing.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Well, I mean two events a year.
- 12:49Speaker 3: That's not nothing.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's not nothing. It's not something either.
- 12:55Speaker 5: The special retail foil cards, he's a campaign. My will
- 13:02Speaker 5: still support my store, even though I have two thousand
- 13:09Speaker 5: dollars worth of Sleepy Dragons.
- 13:10Speaker 4: I will buy one foil Sleepy Dragon.
- 13:13Speaker 5: To support my store when I go in, because the
- 13:15Speaker 5: foil dragon is cool.
- 13:17Speaker 3: But it's a single foil. And it's that they're now
- 13:20Speaker 3: releasing full foil decks and stuff. It seems very disappointing
- 13:26Speaker 3: in comparison.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And I think the most disappointing part about the foils,
- 13:31Speaker 1: honestly is that like you're like, oh, sweet foiled deck,
- 13:35Speaker 1: or even just one foil, and it's just in this
- 13:37Speaker 1: turd of a deck, and you're like.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Oh wow, I mean that's always key Ford.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I'm always but I know.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I don't. I mean, like you half the time when
- 13:49Speaker 3: you get a foil, when you open a magic package
- 13:51Speaker 3: on some turd card you don't care about too.
- 13:54Speaker 1: But it's foil. This is true.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I mean, like turd foils are just part
- 14:00Speaker 3: of the foil world, and a lot of games that
- 14:05Speaker 3: most Pokemon foils are kurds.
- 14:07Speaker 1: But a lot of them aren't.
- 14:11Speaker 3: I don't know of them are.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It's just it's different when I'm able to go like
- 14:16Speaker 1: take my flashy shit and then be like, oh, but
- 14:18Speaker 1: I can at least go buy like cool foils from
- 14:21Speaker 1: somewhere and then bling out my cool deck that I
- 14:24Speaker 1: want to do, and you can't, Like, you just can't
- 14:26Speaker 1: do that.
- 14:27Speaker 3: This game does not have a core design that is
- 14:31Speaker 3: supportive of strong secondary market movement.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Correct, That is true.
- 14:36Speaker 3: That isn't a huge weakness in my opinion, because secondary
- 14:40Speaker 3: market shit is part of why I hate dealing with
- 14:42Speaker 3: collectible card games. Hate that stuff.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Understand that. But we did get into the news sets name.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Before you go there, I have one more comment. I
- 14:56Speaker 2: think this also could relate to the money decrease basically
- 15:00Speaker 2: stretch pay this time around. These campaigns are basically asking
- 15:03Speaker 2: for a lump sum for all the key forge community
- 15:06Speaker 2: is looking to play over like six months. It really
- 15:09Speaker 2: should be spread out over time. And the response was unfortunately,
- 15:12Speaker 2: there won't be stretch pay for this campaign, and I
- 15:14Speaker 2: know that impacted a couple of people why they're not choosing.
- 15:17Speaker 2: But here's potentially the good news on it. Due to
- 15:20Speaker 2: how quickly we plan to fulfill these stretch pay just
- 15:23Speaker 2: doesn't work for us.
- 15:26Speaker 1: So I'm so they weren't getting that money in fast enough.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Well, I'm hoping that we're going to be able to
- 15:36Speaker 2: have this set fulfilled a little bit quicker. See it
- 15:39Speaker 2: as a positive there. All right, you want to go
- 15:40Speaker 2: ahead and talk a new set, let's do it.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Do you really think that's what was stopping fulfillment of
- 15:45Speaker 1: the set was stretch pay? No?
- 15:50Speaker 2: I think that stretch pay helps out a number of individuals,
- 15:53Speaker 2: but it could be a limiting factor as why they're
- 15:55Speaker 2: not going ahead and committing here, and maybe you're seeing
- 15:57Speaker 2: more people than participate with the local store hopefully. I mean,
- 16:03Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm not on the inside workings in
- 16:05Speaker 2: that manner.
- 16:06Speaker 1: That's that is such a that is that you know what?
- 16:08Speaker 1: That sounds like an excuse, This is why we're not
- 16:12Speaker 1: doing stretch pay number one. It somehow, I mean obviously
- 16:15Speaker 1: like they don't get all the money upfront right away.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how their stretch pay works.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I've worked with companies and I work with companies now
- 16:22Speaker 1: that like we get the money upfront with their stretch pay,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and it's all it's all divisive on a third party company.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So I really don't I guess I don't know how
- 16:31Speaker 1: that whole thing operates and entails. But like using that
- 16:34Speaker 1: as like we're not going to offer it so we
- 16:36Speaker 1: could fulfill it faster, I'm not. I don't buy it still, I'm.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Just saying it. It may be a different aspect between
- 16:45Speaker 2: DM and Shattered Realities. That's what I'm saying. That's a
- 16:49Speaker 2: different component.
- 16:50Speaker 3: There is a minor change in this game found that
- 16:53Speaker 3: isn't copy paste. The starting goal was moved up from
- 16:58Speaker 3: fifty thousand to seventy five thousand.
- 17:01Speaker 1: No, it was fifty thousand, no.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Goal, seventy five thousand. I'm looking at it right now.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Oh man, I guess I should have I mean, I
- 17:09Speaker 1: could have swere it was fifty thousand again.
- 17:12Speaker 3: No five Right up there in the top right corner.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It does say seventy five thousand, are correct? It is
- 17:17Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy four. It was one hundred and
- 17:20Speaker 1: seventy four percent funded. It was funded in two hours
- 17:23Speaker 1: and twenty minutes, which.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Is slow for a game pound. But I mean I
- 17:31Speaker 3: in a real pessimistic point of view, I could see
- 17:33Speaker 3: them be like, well, bring up the bottom, because if
- 17:35Speaker 3: it doesn't actually hit this much, we don't even want
- 17:37Speaker 3: to print it.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I mean altered did that?
- 17:44Speaker 3: Altered lies? They started low and when it didn't build
- 17:48Speaker 3: fast night they said, think it was real bottom?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Do you think galaxy?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Lie?
- 17:54Speaker 3: Oh no, because they're realizing they know they're only in
- 17:56Speaker 3: the two to three hundred thousand dollars on a game pound.
- 18:01Speaker 3: So I mean, I guess yes, putting it to two
- 18:05Speaker 3: hundred thousand when they're only expecting to get two five
- 18:08Speaker 3: is I mean actually well down.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Pledges two hundred thousand. I mean, we wouldn't even be
- 18:12Speaker 1: funded yet if we're if we if that were the case, Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: but no.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I think this is done and guaranteed at this point.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Because I think if I remember correctly, and I can't
- 18:26Speaker 1: remember where I got this information from, so you'll have
- 18:29Speaker 1: to forgive me game Found. Game Found legitimately suggests with
- 18:34Speaker 1: them to start it at fifty thousand, and obviously that's
- 18:39Speaker 1: to build the hype up, right, like funded in seventeen
- 18:43Speaker 1: and a half seconds, you know, like, yeah, whatever.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I think. I think key forde One of the things
- 18:49Speaker 3: is like, so the development in the aspect of key Fords,
- 18:54Speaker 3: the development work for key Forge at this point is
- 18:58Speaker 3: mostly paid for for Shattered Realities. I know they're still
- 19:01Speaker 3: doing some work, but mostly the art is the art
- 19:06Speaker 3: is already at least, you know, like the the invoices
- 19:10Speaker 3: in the air, right, whether they've actually mad as.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I've been cranking away on chat, GPT and perplexity to
- 19:16Speaker 1: get them art. It's you know, it's the best struggle.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, So they like, ultimately they already have the card
- 19:26Speaker 3: stock in house and the printers, so because they control
- 19:30Speaker 3: the stuff in house and you know, they can print
- 19:32Speaker 3: run to whatever size they need. And in a lot
- 19:35Speaker 3: of ways, the back end of key Forge is a
- 19:38Speaker 3: lot less than other some other games. It's not like
- 19:41Speaker 3: they're going, oh, our print runs so short. We can't
- 19:44Speaker 3: talk to a big printer because they're already Ghost Galaxies
- 19:48Speaker 3: having artif Forge to it. Who has like a minimum
- 19:51Speaker 3: print run of like one hundred decks or something. It's
- 19:53Speaker 3: not crazy to be cost effective, and they already have
- 20:00Speaker 3: proof that they can do one off. So like the
- 20:03Speaker 3: whole scale thing that kills a lot of other game
- 20:06Speaker 3: found kind of things. When they don't do well it,
- 20:08Speaker 3: it doesn't really seem to be as big of a
- 20:10Speaker 3: problem for KeyForge. Calva doesn't make enough. I think it
- 20:12Speaker 3: says there isn't another one, but I don't see how
- 20:15Speaker 3: this one.
- 20:16Speaker 1: But we already have another set name they have to
- 20:19Speaker 1: do another one. Yeah, yeah, okay, but now I want
- 20:25Speaker 1: to do spoilers right because gr is getting mad at us.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I can tell no, no, I'm actually over here on
- 20:30Speaker 2: the fees that game found takes. So that's what I
- 20:34Speaker 2: was more interested in. Yeah, so when we're looking at
- 20:38Speaker 2: the offer like platform fee just for game found is
- 20:41Speaker 2: a platform fee of five percent to all successfully collected payments,
- 20:47Speaker 2: Like that's really who's making the consistent money from all
- 20:50Speaker 2: of the different companies. You also have a payment processing
- 20:53Speaker 2: of three percent. But it's interesting under stretch pay that
- 20:58Speaker 2: is their free sea No. Stretch pay is installment program
- 21:04Speaker 2: for backs during that was free listed under the fees.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Pledge Manager setup is free top banner on the main page,
- 21:12Speaker 2: free featuring on the main page all like the marketing.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I wonder if that's interesting.
- 21:17Speaker 3: I wonder if game company only gets paid when the
- 21:21Speaker 3: stretch pay payments come in.
- 21:24Speaker 4: That's what Either either.
- 21:27Speaker 5: They're chunking up the payments in that way so you're
- 21:29Speaker 5: delaying your own payment, or somebody is paying to effectively
- 21:35Speaker 5: finance that.
- 21:36Speaker 4: So it's either the consumer or the or the company.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Right, so.
- 21:45Speaker 5: You know, if game Founds offering it for free, it's
- 21:48Speaker 5: not Game Founds. That means it's either the consumer, which
- 21:51Speaker 5: doesn't sound like if you're the pledging your so either
- 21:55Speaker 5: it only comes in later or Gigi has to pay
- 21:59Speaker 5: uh effectively for the finance.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I'm sure it's worked in somewhere. I'm actually under the
- 22:06Speaker 2: area of launch your projects. So if I were to
- 22:08Speaker 2: launch a project, this is what I would get for
- 22:10Speaker 2: using game Found. They also have a ten percent of
- 22:14Speaker 2: AD revenue, so performance marketing on external platforms, and they
- 22:17Speaker 2: list Facebook, Google, BGG. Sorry, it was just interesting because
- 22:25Speaker 2: I'm like, man, that's really who's making like think about.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Leaders receive the funds incrementally as individual installment payments as
- 22:33Speaker 3: successfully collected. So yes, likest Galaxy gets money stretched out
- 22:38Speaker 3: over launch little payments.
- 22:43Speaker 2: But if you're looking, I mean they're handling the vats
- 22:45Speaker 2: and other things for your EU. There's definitely some logistics,
- 22:51Speaker 2: but eight percent of even game found right now at
- 22:56Speaker 2: its one hundred and thirty thousand, that's nothing to sneeze at.
- 22:59Speaker 2: That's you're running multiple games and when these games can
- 23:03Speaker 2: be very successful, it's very interesting. Anyway, sorry my rabbit hole.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Well, Kickstarter is a higher price, or at least it flies,
- 23:12Speaker 4: which is part of the reason.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Correct, you have a competing platform that's here, but you're seeing.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, what's the name of the
- 23:29Speaker 1: new campaign?
- 23:31Speaker 2: Well, because we hit our stretch goal, it was released
- 23:36Speaker 2: Mirror Vault.
- 23:41Speaker 1: It's a weird dame.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That's the response. All right, and with it the announcement
- 23:48Speaker 2: of evil twins are going to come out with the
- 23:52Speaker 2: mirror vaults and fitting and then the ability to clone.
- 23:57Speaker 2: That's less exciting.
- 24:00Speaker 4: But I like the return of evil twins.
- 24:04Speaker 5: I think. I think it's a really cool concept. Like
- 24:08Speaker 5: I remember back when DT came out, you know, I
- 24:13Speaker 5: remember people and myself being sad that we were in COVID, right,
- 24:18Speaker 5: because one of the really cool aspects of the evil
- 24:23Speaker 5: Twin was like, oh yeah, you could like try to
- 24:26Speaker 5: find the person who has your evil twin and then
- 24:28Speaker 5: maybe meet up with them in person at convention to
- 24:31Speaker 5: meet somebody and like play them against each other or
- 24:34Speaker 5: you know, give you know, allow one person to consolidate
- 24:39Speaker 5: the evil twin with the with the.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Twin.
- 24:43Speaker 4: I don't know. So, you know, really cool concept, I think,
- 24:51Speaker 4: But so I'm excited to see it back. Of course,
- 24:54Speaker 4: it very much depends on the card quality as to
- 24:58Speaker 4: if we'll like it or not.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Right, Uh, yeah, I agree with that. I'm not a
- 25:04Speaker 1: huge fan of evil Evil Twin being back, I know
- 25:08Speaker 1: that much.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I could I try to collect them, yeah, I think.
- 25:13Speaker 1: But like when we're talking about making decks that in
- 25:17Speaker 1: the competitive sphere, and one of the reasons why DT
- 25:24Speaker 1: was such a failure is Evil Twins.
- 25:27Speaker 3: What No, what is gonna have to do with DT
- 25:30Speaker 3: being a failure? I don't understand where that comes from.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Well, I mean, so why why why do you consider
- 25:37Speaker 1: DT a failure?
- 25:38Speaker 5: What?
- 25:38Speaker 1: What would you say made it? Made it good or bad?
- 25:43Speaker 4: That was under power?
- 25:44Speaker 1: The mechanic was bad, bad, and then it's timing was
- 25:51Speaker 1: really bad. Yeah, that hurt from financial point of view.
- 25:57Speaker 1: But I mean, like, why is it not veered well now?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Because it was a bad mechanic with bad car quality
- 26:06Speaker 1: and you think AOA is a bad mechanic or is
- 26:11Speaker 1: a relatively low card quality set and it doesn't carry
- 26:14Speaker 1: the general hate as Dark Tinis does because the mechanic
- 26:18Speaker 1: wasn't bad, it's just car collars were bad. Depends on
- 26:21Speaker 1: how you not a huge AOA.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I mean most of us consider it not a great set,
- 26:26Speaker 3: but we have fonder feelings to it than we do DT.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I mean, I I guess honestly because one of the
- 26:31Speaker 1: big things was how it because with the with the
- 26:36Speaker 1: Evil Twin cards, you had some that were really really
- 26:41Speaker 1: good and some were that were absolute dog water. And
- 26:46Speaker 1: if you got sorted into well, right, but like these
- 26:50Speaker 1: sorted you into one of two categories, right, because once
- 26:54Speaker 1: you were an Evil Twin, you could only get evil.
- 26:56Speaker 1: You had to be with all other Evil Twin cards.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Just like when you weren't an Evil Twin deck, you
- 27:05Speaker 3: couldn't get.
- 27:05Speaker 1: The good version of right correct.
- 27:09Speaker 3: So I mean, like, I understand what you're saying, but
- 27:11Speaker 3: I don't see how that's.
- 27:14Speaker 1: That. That didn't it affects the numbers of possiblity, It
- 27:18Speaker 1: creates too many possibilities. I mean, does a good if
- 27:25Speaker 1: does a good job in card design? Okay, maybe we
- 27:28Speaker 1: don't have that problem. I mean, is they have to.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Design more cards for that set then they're currently designed
- 27:39Speaker 3: the current sets already in this world of fewer cards,
- 27:43Speaker 3: fewer possibilities, and it's not better. The game's not better
- 27:46Speaker 3: for it.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I mean, I again, I still wonder how this solves
- 27:54Speaker 1: the PV problem. We still haven't kind of figured that
- 27:58Speaker 1: out at all. So I mean, I mean, Evil Twins
- 28:04Speaker 1: a cool idea. I just I think that the Evil
- 28:08Speaker 1: Twin had more to do with it, more to do
- 28:11Speaker 1: with DT being a struggle than anything else. Even though
- 28:14Speaker 1: there's plenty of DT apologists.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I'm not a DT apologist. I'm more in the camp
- 28:20Speaker 2: with drezz and cheap. My only issue that I have
- 28:24Speaker 2: for this is I hope the number of Evil UH
- 28:29Speaker 2: decks is actually increased. So they were pretty rare to
- 28:32Speaker 2: be able to find them, and so it is more
- 28:35Speaker 2: of an entertainment value versus a competitive level. So I
- 28:38Speaker 2: hear what you're saying, Wookie, I.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Won my minor game with an Evil Twin deck this week.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Very nice.
- 28:46Speaker 2: So that's my request is that they just increase the amount.
- 28:51Speaker 1: World Clyde Brobner, So let's not get too excited. Yeah, well,
- 29:00Speaker 1: well we'll have to wait and see. This is also
- 29:03Speaker 1: going to allow them to reprint Dark Tightenings decks. I'm
- 29:09Speaker 1: not really sure who is asking for this, but clearly
- 29:12Speaker 1: somebody want, you know, exactly, like.
- 29:18Speaker 4: The incorrect statement you said a long time.
- 29:24Speaker 3: For it.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I don't know if incorrects the correct term to use. There,
- 29:30Speaker 1: You're correct, I know exactly who is asked for asking
- 29:33Speaker 1: for it.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the opposite of what you said. I continue
- 29:37Speaker 4: to continue with your explanation.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Well, two people is not I'm asking beyond it. Are
- 29:46Speaker 1: a lot of people asking to reprint DT decks.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Now, it's like quick draw and murph right right, and
- 29:55Speaker 4: that's it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Like who else is asking to reprint DT decks? I'm
- 30:00Speaker 1: the what's what's frog legs? What's frog legs? Yeah he's
- 30:06Speaker 1: got the DT aligned. Oh okay, But so that that
- 30:13Speaker 1: makes me think that something to do with the Evil
- 30:16Speaker 1: Twin algo Jen has something to do with why they
- 30:20Speaker 1: don't have DT reprinting. And they're like, well, if we're
- 30:23Speaker 1: going to fix it so we can reprint DT, we
- 30:25Speaker 1: might also just put it in a set if we're
- 30:26Speaker 1: going to put any work into making evil Twins work.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Again, which I think is a good idea.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Yea, hope, me too bad. I don't really have any
- 30:35Speaker 3: problem with them. I actually I don't know if I
- 30:39Speaker 3: want to see their quantity increase, like one per box
- 30:43Speaker 3: would be definitely the maximum I want to see.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Well, I would love to be able to see them
- 30:48Speaker 2: actually linked in the same box, but that is such
- 30:51Speaker 2: a lofty goal. I think just increasing how often they
- 30:54Speaker 2: show up will help, because then.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We want them linked in the same box. Doesn't that
- 30:59Speaker 1: take can wait all the fun that you guys were
- 31:01Speaker 1: talking about earlier?
- 31:03Speaker 2: No, I don't want to I want to be able
- 31:06Speaker 2: to collect the evil twin pair.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Now I want to have to find want I want
- 31:11Speaker 3: to have to find my mate. Noh Jr. Just want
- 31:17Speaker 3: to sit in his basement with himself and play with
- 31:19Speaker 3: his own evil twin.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I do think that that was a missed opportunity on
- 31:25Speaker 2: the stretch goals that I feel like that you could
- 31:28Speaker 2: have made an evil twin for your personalized card.
- 31:31Speaker 3: It would have been a maz I think evil twinning
- 31:34Speaker 3: as a You could be the first.
- 31:40Speaker 1: JR. Could be the first evil twin. There's good Jr.
- 31:43Speaker 1: And then Evil JR.
- 31:44Speaker 3: What happens when you're already the evil version? So then
- 31:47Speaker 3: they got to make the good version?
- 31:48Speaker 1: They got to make the good version.
- 31:50Speaker 4: No, well, never know what would JR Is evil twin
- 31:58Speaker 4: be named?
- 32:01Speaker 1: I would say the whole part of that joke dress
- 32:03Speaker 1: was that they'd have to make the good one. I
- 32:05Speaker 1: don't know if you caught that or not, but that
- 32:07Speaker 1: was the whole you fixed it. I got there. I
- 32:11Speaker 1: don't know as he knows that, Oh boy, mess with
- 32:22Speaker 1: your thing.
- 32:26Speaker 3: All?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Should we give the obligatory spoiler warning, Well, obligatory spoiler warning,
- 32:34Speaker 2: we're gonna going to spoilers?
- 32:35Speaker 1: Which guy? What you want to do?
- 32:36Speaker 2: First?
- 32:37Speaker 1: You want to do brobar Mars first, do you guys
- 32:39Speaker 1: want to do o Bro's Shadows? Perfect? Brob Mars is
- 32:46Speaker 1: we're starting out with brawl Nado.
- 32:49Speaker 3: We had talked about this ahead of time, and uh,
- 32:52Speaker 3: we weren't doing articles that.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Oh we're not. Oh, we're just going straight to you
- 32:56Speaker 1: want to go to arkan Orkana.
- 32:59Speaker 3: That we talked about.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Do we want to do them all?
- 33:03Speaker 5: Or?
- 33:03Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, I thought we were doing just the
- 33:06Speaker 4: article spoilers.
- 33:08Speaker 1: That's what I thought to see at least some of
- 33:10Speaker 1: us around the same wave of length.
- 33:12Speaker 2: He's driving in a car. You can barely pay attention
- 33:15Speaker 2: to anything.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Okay, I'm here, I can barely pay attention to anything.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I don't really know what the problem is. All right,
- 33:23Speaker 1: don't hit the people? All right? So we want to
- 33:25Speaker 1: go through there's a lot here? What this is a lot?
- 33:31Speaker 4: You guys hear that?
- 33:32Speaker 2: No? What was that?
- 33:34Speaker 1: You can't? Oh I can't. Oh yeah, that's it.
- 33:39Speaker 3: That's the sound.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Yeah, construction. I gotta get way up while there's a side.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Let's look at me.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Don't hit the construction people.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Yeah, they have us on the shoulder. I don't like this,
- 33:52Speaker 4: all right.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Well, anyways, let's go through.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I'm going to go through. There's thirty nine cards here.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Hopefully there's a ton of spoilers. Menacing Wich three power
- 34:00Speaker 1: human witch after a creature has destroyed, gain one amber
- 34:04Speaker 1: and draw card looks mighty. Menacing Ima untamed, it's a witch.
- 34:13Speaker 2: How worried are you.
- 34:21Speaker 4: On tape card?
- 34:22Speaker 1: Right?
- 34:22Speaker 5: Like?
- 34:22Speaker 4: That's not a typical tap power?
- 34:25Speaker 3: No, are you playing a digeridu? Now what the hell
- 34:30Speaker 3: is going on?
- 34:33Speaker 4: That is literally the side of the road. I tell you,
- 34:36Speaker 4: they have us on the shoulder.
- 34:39Speaker 3: What's gonna happen next?
- 34:43Speaker 2: So what I what I like about menacing, which is
- 34:45Speaker 2: that it is dual sided, so I can destroy my
- 34:48Speaker 2: own creature or I can destroy my opponent's creature. So
- 34:53Speaker 2: potential for amber burst there and card draw at the
- 34:56Speaker 2: same time. It is coming in uncommon this this is uh,
- 35:03Speaker 2: this is nicer, but you're gonna have to be doing
- 35:05Speaker 2: some work for it. It's not just playing creatures.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 2: It also doesn't have the problem their effective needing to fight,
- 35:15Speaker 2: which is nice, all right.
- 35:16Speaker 1: It doesn't I can drug cards of my opponent's turn too,
- 35:24Speaker 1: And I guess it sees itself after creature, it does
- 35:30Speaker 1: see itself, right, shape well, but it's destroyed after destroy
- 35:37Speaker 1: destroyed that that would trigger when they moved to the
- 35:42Speaker 1: when they actually moved to the graveyard.
- 35:44Speaker 3: So it's like the the creature who gains amber every
- 35:47Speaker 3: time a creature is destroyed and doesn't work when a
- 35:50Speaker 3: board white. So this one the same way. If a
- 35:52Speaker 3: board full board white comes down, you get nothing from
- 35:55Speaker 3: this yep.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Okay, never mind, it doesn't see itself. Let's talk about
- 36:00Speaker 1: my Teak.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I still think this card has potential.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It's kind of legs. Yeah.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I like the car.
- 36:06Speaker 5: If it's got support in the house, I like it
- 36:08Speaker 5: quite a lot. If it's got out of support, out
- 36:12Speaker 5: of house support, then it's okay.
- 36:14Speaker 4: But it's it's pretty decent. It sounds like.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Yep, because it doesn't matter if you're destroying theirs or yours. Yeah,
- 36:21Speaker 1: seems cool. My Teak. She's a three powered giant from Brobnar.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Play it has to play. That's important here. Play each
- 36:34Speaker 1: of Mytik's neighbors capture two.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Yep.
- 36:42Speaker 5: Is this the biggest powered giant we've ever seen? It's
- 36:46Speaker 5: an old drama giant, but I can be seen a
- 36:50Speaker 5: giant before in three power.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I think most of the three two and three powers
- 36:54Speaker 1: are all goblins, right.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they're all they're all.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Probably sow you sound about right. But she's old. Oh yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 1: but she's barely a giant rights.
- 37:11Speaker 2: I think you're missing the obvious play on Reservist Jones here,
- 37:15Speaker 2: but sure, yeah, it's.
- 37:16Speaker 4: Like a better version of Reservist Jones.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Right, yeah, old Grandma, old grandma. Somebody's grandma got an
- 37:23Speaker 1: art card?
- 37:26Speaker 2: Not maybe that was me.
- 37:27Speaker 5: You know what, that's a great idea. Maybe I should
- 37:30Speaker 5: buy that last art pledge and get Grandma's.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Spotrand spot and key for it.
- 37:40Speaker 1: This seems okay. I'm not mad at it. It delays
- 37:44Speaker 1: the game, creates a couple ember pinatas somewhere with hopefully
- 37:48Speaker 1: hopefully a body two or two on the board, but
- 37:52Speaker 1: also we're in a meataw where we don't want bodies
- 37:54Speaker 1: on board and things are easily takable.
- 37:58Speaker 2: I mean, it does look like it's at a slot,
- 38:00Speaker 2: so I don't think we're going to see a ton.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Of It's tough to tell, but I yeah, oh no,
- 38:05Speaker 1: it does say rare. Yeah it is a rare.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Rare is just deployed capture too, Yeah.
- 38:12Speaker 2: For each So that's it's it's going to be a
- 38:14Speaker 2: capture for it's each neighbor each No, there's no if
- 38:16Speaker 2: there's if you just play my tea on an empty
- 38:19Speaker 2: board at zero, but what neighbor two two four?
- 38:23Speaker 4: That is not an exciting No, it's not.
- 38:27Speaker 3: From a Brodno perspective that just captures on play is
- 38:34Speaker 3: sort of rare. I guess they got a couple in
- 38:35Speaker 3: the newest.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I mean it's coming back, so I mean that's pretty good.
- 38:41Speaker 1: It's not this.
- 38:44Speaker 2: This also isn't putting it on my teak, who's really weak.
- 38:46Speaker 2: It's putting out the neighbors.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Right, so maybe you can get some big beefy brob
- 38:50Speaker 1: in our boys around.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Her or dragons or something.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Dragons. Speaking of dragons, we got out war.
- 38:59Speaker 2: What is.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Is that the the pronunciation up there? Six power dragon
- 39:10Speaker 1: from Obros after fight destroy an artifact or creature.
- 39:19Speaker 3: A fight effect, right, so whatever it is a fight effect,
- 39:23Speaker 3: but and no skirmish.
- 39:26Speaker 2: It does not have skirmish, which is sad, but a
- 39:29Speaker 2: chance to go ahead and destroy like artifact control or
- 39:33Speaker 2: an additional creature control. It's not it's coming in uncommon.
- 39:36Speaker 2: It's not the worst card. Six isn't also super like,
- 39:40Speaker 2: it's not super big, it's not super small.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Well is this is there? Ready and use in hals right?
- 39:49Speaker 1: Oh, that we don't mean. I don't know if we
- 39:51Speaker 1: know from previous I haven't really looked. There is.
- 39:57Speaker 4: No that's oberos, so we'd be looking. Is the arcane whatever?
- 40:03Speaker 4: What's that common action?
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a common exhaust creature. Now, truck just hit that.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I'll go back to the game found and see what's
- 40:16Speaker 1: what's been previewed for them.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Thus, yeah, there are some already use. Okay, as far
- 40:21Speaker 3: as three power giants, we've had two one maybe the
- 40:26Speaker 3: worst giant ever printed scraper. A decent giant is Narplet
- 40:33Speaker 3: at three power.
- 40:37Speaker 2: And what you were thinking of was arcane relief Drazz.
- 40:40Speaker 2: That's a common action for over us with an amber
- 40:44Speaker 2: pip choose a friendly exhausted creature. Ready and use that creature?
- 40:48Speaker 1: Sweet.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I don't know if that one was coming back, but
- 40:53Speaker 2: scroll this.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Is still like, I mean, he's bigger, so that makes
- 40:57Speaker 1: him better than so it's possible that it can do something.
- 41:01Speaker 1: So it's after fight effect probably goes off.
- 41:07Speaker 2: This is not impressive, it's well, but if I can
- 41:11Speaker 2: fight once and destroy, if I can go ahead and
- 41:14Speaker 2: destroy the creature that's there and destroy something else, or
- 41:16Speaker 2: I can fight intelusive and destroy something, or I can
- 41:19Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Effect. It's mid right, Like, it's not oh my god,
- 41:25Speaker 3: this is this is oh, this is gonna win me games.
- 41:28Speaker 3: It's just like, yeah, I agree with this is fine,
- 41:31Speaker 3: Like you're not gonna be super said to have him
- 41:33Speaker 3: because he's got enough body and he has a fight
- 41:35Speaker 3: effect where they may not want to play creatures into him.
- 41:37Speaker 1: So yeah, probably good and sealed. Yeah, it's fine. Merchant
- 41:43Speaker 1: eva eva merchant h Now his ac works. Oh, I
- 41:50Speaker 1: don't know.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It's showing a ship that's blowing up. It's emergency evacuation.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Man, I know it's evac thing.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Maybe he got shot in the air conditioner.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Now it's emergency h vac yep, November. Every time you
- 42:04Speaker 1: play it, play it is a Star Alliance card. Play
- 42:08Speaker 1: put an enemy creature onto its are into its owner's hand.
- 42:12Speaker 1: If you do put a friendly creature, excuse me, put
- 42:16Speaker 1: a friendly creature into its owner's hand. This seems fine
- 42:22Speaker 1: in general, I guess, like I mean, if there's some
- 42:25Speaker 1: play effects around, correct, it's creature couldet violet pall with this.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It's got the magical amber pip. Oh yeah, there is
- 42:36Speaker 1: that cadet filet coming up in that card.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Mm hmmm.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they're pretty they could could be pretty bonkers together
- 42:43Speaker 1: because she just readies them. It's not ready in us, right, yeah. Yeah,
- 42:48Speaker 1: so if they're in the same house, you're good to go.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It seems fine.
- 42:54Speaker 3: It's a rare day that you would discard this card. No,
- 42:58Speaker 3: I mean you might have tounce an off house creature,
- 43:00Speaker 3: which would be bad though, So you might.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Have to bounce no creatures because your board's empty.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Could be that too.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and you just get a pip of vember to
- 43:10Speaker 1: bounce a creature back to their hands.
- 43:12Speaker 3: I think as a common this is going to be
- 43:14Speaker 3: a You could also have something and it's fine.
- 43:18Speaker 1: So it's it's just not want to bounce it.
- 43:20Speaker 3: You ain't got to be heartbreaking to have heartbroken to
- 43:23Speaker 3: have some of these.
- 43:23Speaker 1: No, it's Ewok's beloved. See.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I think there's gonna be plenty of sea and shattered reality.
- 43:32Speaker 2: That's what I'm seeing grafting onto other creatures. But ye,
- 43:35Speaker 2: shall we go into Elders Trammel.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Yeah, elders Trammel from mars pep November. Every time you
- 43:42Speaker 1: play it, play put an enemy creature face down under
- 43:45Speaker 1: a friendly creature.
- 43:49Speaker 3: So in a lot of ways, this is a very
- 43:53Speaker 3: similar scope as the previous card, Like, yeah, whether you
- 43:58Speaker 3: have to have a friendly creature where the other one.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Sometimes you don't even want the friendly creature, but it's
- 44:04Speaker 1: got that weird tie amber pid deal with one of theirs,
- 44:06Speaker 1: deal with on yours. But there's a lot of this
- 44:08Speaker 1: stuff that I was gonna set where it's and this
- 44:11Speaker 1: this is going to.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Get rewarded to graft, right, this is going to be
- 44:15Speaker 3: a weird one because it doesn't actually say graph So
- 44:18Speaker 3: why is that card under it? That's super confusing when
- 44:22Speaker 3: it doesn't have a reason to be under there. So
- 44:23Speaker 3: this needs some terminology editions.
- 44:26Speaker 2: But graft his face up, Yeah, they the space down.
- 44:31Speaker 3: What I don't this is just creating a random out
- 44:34Speaker 3: of play zone that makes no sense. Yeah, that's what
- 44:37Speaker 3: I was saying.
- 44:38Speaker 1: When the creature dies, the creature that's underneath just goes
- 44:41Speaker 1: to the discard pile.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, sure, because there's because that's generically where the
- 44:48Speaker 3: play cards go.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Well, if you graft a creature on to another creature,
- 44:54Speaker 1: once that creature dies, doesn't that other card just go
- 44:56Speaker 1: to the discard pile unless.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 45:00Speaker 3: But a lot of cards that are putting cards under
- 45:02Speaker 3: them have specific constraints on what happens to them when
- 45:06Speaker 3: that card goes out of play. This is one that doesn't.
- 45:09Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Yeah, this this is a little bits, a little weird.
- 45:15Speaker 1: This was also a preview card, so I would expect
- 45:18Speaker 1: it to change.
- 45:20Speaker 2: It is a common.
- 45:23Speaker 1: All right, let's move into some untamed crave Ass Strike.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, Pip November every time you play it, play.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Again, try it again, man, just try to crave.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I say strike. Do you want me to say crevas
- 45:40Speaker 1: Is that what you're looking for there? Strike?
- 45:42Speaker 2: No, I'm just enjoying how you're doing this.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Ye, definitely, it's definitely crav.
- 45:51Speaker 4: Sounded to me with the audio like crave ass Strike.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I said, totally what I said. The
- 46:00Speaker 1: real car title is Cravass Strike. However, whenever I play
- 46:06Speaker 1: this card, I will call it crave ass Strike because
- 46:10Speaker 1: you get to pip a number every time you play it,
- 46:12Speaker 1: and you deal too damage to each creature not on
- 46:16Speaker 1: a flank.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Kind of like your old card. Wheres two on the
- 46:21Speaker 3: flank creatures and inside gay.
- 46:24Speaker 4: What is it?
- 46:24Speaker 1: Poison?
- 46:25Speaker 3: Strike.
- 46:25Speaker 1: What was it?
- 46:26Speaker 2: No, Plas is just gonna go ahead and do two.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Poison Wave does two to everything. That's just just two
- 46:32Speaker 1: to the end creature.
- 46:33Speaker 3: So no, yeah, well but I guess the two of
- 46:36Speaker 3: these and that witch and you're gonna make some banks.
- 46:39Speaker 1: You'll make some space and draw a bunch of cards.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Little do you know? All the untamed creatures are massive.
- 46:48Speaker 1: They're actually all nippilypes so they're all three power, but.
- 46:52Speaker 3: You always get so they're fove so on its own.
- 46:57Speaker 3: This card is just it's a little bit weaker and
- 46:59Speaker 3: poison way and it's whatever. But I mean, see, you
- 47:03Speaker 3: see sometimes you need.
- 47:04Speaker 1: It, all right, all right, Leoni Leo, Lanni Leoni four
- 47:13Speaker 1: power auin from the fish House. At the end of
- 47:17Speaker 1: your turn. If Leanni is not on a flank draw.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Card nicethetic effect.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, I'll take him.
- 47:25Speaker 4: He seems fine, you know, more conditions than previous draw cards.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but daughter was two power.
- 47:38Speaker 3: We've had this. This is a little different though. This
- 47:45Speaker 3: is not increase your hand size or hand size. This
- 47:49Speaker 3: is just draw card, which means doesn't interact with chains,
- 47:52Speaker 3: doesn't interact with.
- 47:55Speaker 1: You know what, It doesn't draw that dumb prophecy that
- 47:58Speaker 1: says when I draw card out side of my drug
- 48:00Speaker 1: cards face that it does interact with that. It's I
- 48:06Speaker 1: still think this is functionally just in that same generalhouse.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Yeah, mothers.
- 48:13Speaker 5: Yeah, what's the Amber Sky's logos car three power, one armor,
- 48:17Speaker 5: exhaust and draw card.
- 48:19Speaker 1: At the end of your turn. It's a robot. I
- 48:21Speaker 1: can't something the century right now. I can't remember the
- 48:28Speaker 1: name of the card, but I know what if I
- 48:29Speaker 1: saw it.
- 48:30Speaker 3: I now no longer no card names.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:35Speaker 3: I'm just getting more and more ready for playing foreign
- 48:38Speaker 3: language decks.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Mm hmm, there you go. Mm hmm. Yeah, I mean
- 48:44Speaker 1: it seems good. I take it for a power creature.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Probably tips for a dollar, draws me a card, drug
- 48:50Speaker 1: gets me an extra card, maybe only the one time.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Maybe it sticks around. I don't know.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Dress you were looking at articulated wren, which is also
- 48:58Speaker 2: three power cydor scientists had or just one. Yeah, at
- 49:00Speaker 2: the end of your turn, you may exhaust a friendly
- 49:02Speaker 2: creature if you do draw cards. But we had seen
- 49:09Speaker 2: trying to find the other logos card getting sack on it.
- 49:12Speaker 1: We'd seen what what have we seen?
- 49:14Speaker 3: Don't go on to that violet.
- 49:16Speaker 1: That violet going on the list that we made. Going
- 49:22Speaker 1: to say first trap list, the first trap list. Definitely
- 49:25Speaker 1: that Violet going on the first trap list. This is
- 49:28Speaker 1: your art card. I'm sorry, maybe I'm not. I don't know.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Leo Lani guy, you might be on the first trap
- 49:33Speaker 3: list too, if that's your.
- 49:35Speaker 1: If that's your jam, I mean he is smoldering so.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Or we don't know anything about fish biology biology.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Well, menacing, which we don't know. We don't know anything
- 49:47Speaker 1: about that, but.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Biologists.
- 49:55Speaker 2: I'm focused on something else. You keep going, boy, they
- 49:57Speaker 2: call that.
- 49:57Speaker 1: A marine bioactist two power a human with deploy from
- 50:01Speaker 1: Star Alliants play ready of each of Cadet Violet's neighbors
- 50:08Speaker 1: has the to do stupid things.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Yeah, this is this is just yea, this is just
- 50:15Speaker 3: the Mars guy again.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, because this is where I was looking
- 50:21Speaker 2: and it was the sort that's going to allow me
- 50:24Speaker 2: to take it for my discard pile. Titan Librarian is
- 50:29Speaker 2: a four power logos called a different card at the
- 50:32Speaker 2: end of your turn. If Titan Librarian is not on
- 50:35Speaker 2: a flank archive a card that.
- 50:38Speaker 1: That technology or the terminology is kind of the same there,
- 50:42Speaker 1: but drawing a card versus archiving card.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Efficiency, much like the archiving a card if your opponent
- 50:54Speaker 3: has doesn't have disruption. Actually, the archiving is probably stronger
- 50:57Speaker 3: because you're gonna build them even.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I hate to tell you every fucking back nowadays has disruption.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Yeah, this is true. I feel like every that's gonna
- 51:08Speaker 3: be like a five or six value car, assuming that
- 51:11Speaker 3: they have good in the house to go with her.
- 51:15Speaker 3: She's also seems very good. Yeah, well that's probably a
- 51:19Speaker 3: rit for.
- 51:20Speaker 1: That card rare they're actually after after viewing grim reminders,
- 51:25Speaker 1: that might be actually a good idea, Yeah, because that
- 51:30Speaker 1: violence rare dress car. All right, my co mirror man,
- 51:39Speaker 1: what is what these cards? I hate them? My So
- 51:41Speaker 1: Jillium Iso Mi Coe Gilliam Is it my so or
- 51:47Speaker 1: my co Jake Gillenhall. One power funus from from from Untamed.
- 51:57Speaker 1: You get a Pippo. This is for a while since
- 51:59Speaker 1: we've had a creature that you automatically get a pip
- 52:01Speaker 1: a Vember on. Each friendly creature gets plus one power
- 52:08Speaker 1: for each ember in your pool. Each friendly oh, including
- 52:13Speaker 1: including Jake Jillenhall here, unless there's a car that gets
- 52:18Speaker 1: you something for having power, like right is in the
- 52:21Speaker 1: set or something nobody cares. Next, well, but hold on,
- 52:26Speaker 1: he makes a car. He has the ability to make
- 52:29Speaker 1: cards harder to deal with.
- 52:31Speaker 3: Okay, are you now a power counter apologist?
- 52:35Speaker 2: No?
- 52:36Speaker 3: Okay, some more of your.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Other cards, right, no big deal, right this but this
- 52:42Speaker 2: isn't plus one power counters there, it's.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Not even permanent. So as soon as you forge a key, bam,
- 52:48Speaker 3: all you guys are damage on the die. Wow, this
- 52:50Speaker 3: was great.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Yeah, this is all this is true. I might hide.
- 52:54Speaker 1: This is like this turns everybody into sort of a
- 52:57Speaker 1: mushroom man or whatever. And a bunch of the junk
- 53:00Speaker 1: cards have this kind of they get power for some
- 53:02Speaker 1: reason and they all stink. This might.
- 53:07Speaker 2: But if you look at if you look at the
- 53:09Speaker 2: untamed that's above, when others are destroyed, there's an effect,
- 53:15Speaker 2: and then do two to each.
- 53:17Speaker 1: This one might only be around because of the amount
- 53:20Speaker 1: of power he's receiving from the first one, So it's
- 53:23Speaker 1: like an abusive relationship. They probably both die and you
- 53:26Speaker 1: get nothing. All right, sorry, Like Star Hugo Star two
- 53:35Speaker 1: Power Elder from mars Play, discard a random card from
- 53:42Speaker 1: your hand Flan if what this is a weirdly templated
- 53:47Speaker 1: discard a random if their discarded card belongs to Mars
- 53:53Speaker 1: gain one otherwise, purge the discarded card. Your opponent repeats
- 53:56Speaker 1: the preceding effect, even how it.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Was changed in the write up. If the discarded card
- 54:03Speaker 2: belongs to Mars gain one, otherwise, purge the discarded card.
- 54:07Speaker 3: So they yeah, it's probably meant to be that. So
- 54:10Speaker 3: you're gonna They're gonna discard a random card if it
- 54:13Speaker 3: belongs to Mars gained dollar, otherwise, purge it. So this
- 54:16Speaker 3: is clipped wings and doesn't do the same to yourself though,
- 54:22Speaker 3: but it starts.
- 54:22Speaker 2: With yourself discard a random card from your hands.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Well, we think, actually, I'm not loving this, not hating it,
- 54:31Speaker 3: because you you know, like a lot of cards that
- 54:34Speaker 3: discard puts through your hand, you get to handcraft a
- 54:36Speaker 3: bit to get to that.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I don't think this card is going to be the
- 54:39Speaker 1: same card at all when we finally do see it.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Could be. I'm not I don't know.
- 54:48Speaker 1: It's worded. It's worded really funny, so who knows what
- 54:52Speaker 1: this comes out actually saying Okay.
- 54:55Speaker 3: Well, but yeah, I could see the exciting to say
- 54:57Speaker 3: about it.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I see that it could get some hand disruption and
- 55:02Speaker 1: maybe you get a buck if.
- 55:06Speaker 2: With it, but it's to you as well. Yeah, like yeah,
- 55:09Speaker 2: which if you're limited, if you're in an open hand,
- 55:13Speaker 2: like if you have a full smite.
- 55:15Speaker 1: You can't you can't probably play him. If you don't,
- 55:19Speaker 1: this will be a good card and sealed because then
- 55:21Speaker 1: you can you play him. Have nothing but burnished nickels
- 55:24Speaker 1: in your hand and you're like, hah, fucker, hopefully.
- 55:27Speaker 2: We don't have more burnish nickels. Thank you for the donation.
- 55:31Speaker 1: On the inside a Shadows card with a pip of
- 55:34Speaker 1: Ember with three enhanced capture icons. Yep, move one Ember
- 55:43Speaker 1: from a friendly creature to your pool.
- 55:47Speaker 3: Wow, this is generally unaggressive.
- 55:52Speaker 2: But you really like the capture icons.
- 55:55Speaker 1: No, h Drascar will give it four.
- 56:01Speaker 2: It has the common slot union amber pip. You have
- 56:04Speaker 2: three A.
- 56:06Speaker 3: The problem with it it means you could I mean,
- 56:08Speaker 3: I guess it's a lot of cafter pips.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 3: If you see something like your pip on it, it's
- 56:14Speaker 3: basically steal one, assuming you have a creature and play.
- 56:18Speaker 2: If it has like ditched the loot is back in set,
- 56:21Speaker 2: then it has a little bit more value. But yeah,
- 56:23Speaker 2: right now this is not super exciting.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Well, we do know what kind of is on set
- 56:27Speaker 1: for Shadows. Let's see if anything exciting uh is in there.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Let's say check cap braves disabled security, keep the change,
- 56:35Speaker 1: Kerwallop mm hma zero trine another Shadows card one power
- 56:45Speaker 1: AI Thief, Elusive, reveal your opponent after reap, Reveal your
- 56:51Speaker 1: opponent's hand, purge one of the revealed cards.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Yep, zero trying it's AI.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Mm hm, I get the joke. It's a rare too. Yeah,
- 57:09Speaker 1: I do like the That is a crazy strong reaponability.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's crazy strong. I mean he's not making it,
- 57:17Speaker 1: but it's crazy strong.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I mean he's must kill which yeah, he's elusive too,
- 57:26Speaker 1: but I think the damage is just going to He's
- 57:29Speaker 1: just gonna get pipped out and just died.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Shadows is not known.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Yeah, this is true.
- 57:41Speaker 4: The harmon Street then stops.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Yield.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Sweet, make sure you stop him.
- 57:52Speaker 4: I got some gas. I needed gas, So don't worry.
- 57:56Speaker 3: Don't worry.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Good now, guys, we're not worried.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Marauding talent and pip a Vember every time you play
- 58:01Speaker 1: it from the Orberos play.
- 58:04Speaker 2: I think he's I think he's just gonna get hit
- 58:07Speaker 2: with ker wall up. That's that's what I'm seeing here.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Maybe key, your opponent has put an enemy creature on
- 58:13Speaker 1: top of its owner's deck.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Yeah, this is bubbles like it's as it goes on.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's.
- 58:27Speaker 4: The beginning of the game.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't love it.
- 58:30Speaker 1: It gotta it gets you, It gets you a pip Avember.
- 58:35Speaker 3: It's not terrible having mult of these later in the
- 58:38Speaker 3: game and you're one sided doing that stupid fish card
- 58:42Speaker 3: that puts all the creatures on top of the deck
- 58:44Speaker 3: is pretty good. That really slows down decks.
- 58:48Speaker 2: It's disruptive there.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, early game bad. Like game fine, okay, yeah.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Trans Rift, tran Transcrucible, Left Trans Siberian Orchestra. It's from
- 59:07Speaker 1: the Fish. Get a pip November. Every time you play it,
- 59:10Speaker 1: player play, each player discards a random card from their hand.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Are you for real?
- 59:17Speaker 1: Am I for real? I mean a little bit like
- 59:20Speaker 1: this card is.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Not good, especially in comparison to other cards that already
- 59:31Speaker 3: exist in this game, like having to randomly discard like
- 59:36Speaker 3: sometimes is meaningless to potentially find because in zeal you
- 59:41Speaker 3: always have jump button arc on like yeah, oh you
- 59:46Speaker 3: have having two of these in your hand? Whether are common?
- 59:48Speaker 3: Like you just discard the other one randomly and you're like,
- 59:50Speaker 3: well this was dumb.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Yeah that this because I dumb because ideally you'd hold
- 59:56Speaker 2: it till the end play it, so it's acting as
- 59:59Speaker 2: a discard, like but you can't guarantee it.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: You can't keep that self handcraft with stuff like this. Correct,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: just dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb on it all in.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: All in the knull. I dig the art for this card.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I will say a good thing about it. I dig
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the shadow, the shadows smoke Dragon kind of cool. It's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: from Oberro's five Power Dragon. If you are overwhelmed, each
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: time a card would leave your opponent's hand, purge it instead.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Oh ship, So this needs hold.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: On clarification playing leaving your hand boom.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I was gonna say, is is is also putting a
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: card underneath a prophecy.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Like it's leaving your hand.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Yeah, literally everything like if you if if you are.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Overwhelmed and they drop this down, their only choice hold time,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: fight and kill all in the knoll because every single
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: card that they play is purged instead.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: There is there is something out for a while.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: But yes, this was a big, big question.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: There is like some awful dream of this plus some
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: way of being able to give your opponent creatures and
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: ward them or some crap and then give this guy
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: what's the upgrade that makes them invulnerable? Yeah, so you
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: like you goes from this guy and have a couple
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: of crappy creatures, you give them and then just like
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: find somebody to force them to keep them.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: It just becomes the lot of game you've ever played.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just a lock out disaster. It's way too
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: many cards.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: For it, dollar for however, eighteen.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: But that card, I mean, that's a that's an exceptional
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: must be answered when it hits the board card. How
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: do you some more?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Are you able?
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Well, you call the house that you have creatures in
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: and you fight into it until you're not.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: If you have an open board, that's it, right, Like
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: if I have no creature, Like if I'm boardless and
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I and my opportent plays this, I just shake hands.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Then you're not overwhelmed, and you're not overwhelmed.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Yes, okay, if you are overwhelmed, yep, you got it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: So I mean that's like this car is definitely answerable.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: It is. And the ideal situation, Okay, it's like, here's
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: two creatures in two different houses. Both under five. But
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: the short answers you're gonna take one fight it and
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: then you're not overwhelmed. This is really an answer to
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: a big board. You're outboarded elusive.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's the thing is. Can you make them elusive?
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Can you give them wards? Can you.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Well, you know what, what can you What can you
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: do to protect them?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Yeah? What can I do to make it so damage
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to my opponents?
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Graft his text on to an artifact, I don't know,
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: all kinds of silly stuff potentially this. I mean, it's
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: a good file of text that will be game disruptive
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: if it ever actually occurs. Easy to play around them, Yeah,
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: all right, Sweet Brawl Nato Pip November. Every time you
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: play it from Brabner, play a purge of friendly creature
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: and an enemy creature.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: You may repete this effects as many times as you like,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: as long as it's possible to repeat the entire effect.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Hell yeah, I mean in this current world of you
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: don't want any creatures anyways, because you're just losing to
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: cryptic collapses and.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Trunk's creeds. Yeah, let's play them in purge of like it.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I immediately saw Fiery Jark here, which
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: was the four Power of Goblin creature from Brabner. This
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: just we're coming in. I mean, Proul Nato. I love
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: the Sharknado reference. It's purged, so purges better than destroy.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: So puring your own stuff though, is it can be tough.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: It can be tough, but there's also junk they can't
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: steal if I purge it first.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Yeah, well, but lame stuff and perge their good stuff.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: It says you may repeat this back as many times
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: as you like, so you're in control there. But there
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: may be times where you just have to get rid
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: of something good.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: But you can't.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You can't Trunk screed my creatures that are purged, So
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I suck at trinks creed.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Well and here this is it's another one when you're
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: looking at how the's wording and how it plays into
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: this game. This is directly purging, so it ignores destroyed effects.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that is that is actually one hundred percent true.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: So terror Katta who named this, you know who fired
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: immediately three Power Goblins. Yeah, he needs to not make
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: any more Brobnar names because this is ridiculous. Three Power
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Goblin from Brobnar destroyed destroy each artifact. That's a double
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: edged sword.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: As long as you don't have artifacts, it starts fine.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Yeah, let's just say as long as I don't as
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: long as it doesn't hit my all weight it hits mine,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: hopefully I don't have any.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing. Like in a deck with artifacts,
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: this is an instant discard. Yeap, So kind of a
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: mediocre creature because of that regard.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: So what's interesting is that early on I'd seen a
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: lot of grafting of cards and creatures, and most of
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: these previous up until this point really don't have grafting.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: We'll start to see a little bit more, but it
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: is interesting to see.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: The graft stuff came out and people and that stuff handed.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Out to correct, which is why we're not talking right now.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: All right, charging Ogre, I thought it was yep.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Yep, where do we leave off? Charging charging Ogre?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Hold on?
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I lost him?
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Him six power Brobnar Giant, He enters play ready and enraged.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Common slot. Yeah.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: It reminds me of mob except it's not guaranteed to
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: have a million of them.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Yep. It's a right, It's just it's creature control. I'm
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: going to kill.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: And I don't hate this. This is like, yeah, half
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: a ganger chieftain.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Yeah to kill spell it's yeah, might as well say
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: the real sick damage ready target creature.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Yeah, remembering Belligerent Guard from Equa is what I was picturing.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: A Bligerent guard was eight power but enters play ready,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: not enraged. But your opponent draws a card. So here
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: you're entering and.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Rage that.
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: There's a there's a Sanctum card for power entrance play
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: ready and enraged.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: What is the guy is like for pie my brothers?
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Yeah, like that isn't that the whatever Horde or whatever?
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: That was pretty good, but they were they were guaranteed
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: to have multiples because weren't you able to you're.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Thinking of angry mob again, that's not yeah, I said
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: the ze Oh yeah yeah.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: I mean this.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Is creature control. I can fight into something ideal six
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: damage to it. I can immediately answer, yeah.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: If you can bounce it, he gets to fire again.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Yes, deflect. I thought Sanctum was gone yet somehow they
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: appeared in this art.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Because they're not merged and there are other places.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Now, oh got it? Okay, another brob Nart card. This
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: a common.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Gizzleheart sell.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Is that is that a is that an enhanced? Is
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: that an.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Enhanced and damage BIPs? Yep, yes on a common.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're gonna see it and then the Uncommons
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: they're showing up with two. Oh, they're gonna be there
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: are going to be a lot more enhanced this similar
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: to Amber Sky. So you can get some chords on that.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I don't know how I feel about that either, Like
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: it seems like a good idea until like it's just
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: like noah, I just play my whole deck and I'm
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: able to do stuff, so well, anyway, go ahead, but
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: we'll finish it up after all, right, Play a purge
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: a Brobnart card from your discard pile. If you do,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: graft an enemy creature onto an enemy creature, enemy card,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: enemy card. Sorry, Oh I like the.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if I love the play effect
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: that much.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Well, if I purche a Brobnark card from my discard pile,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I can then graft a card onto and I can
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: graft any card I want onto your profits you enemy
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: creature onto an enemy creature, oh, onto an enemy card.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: No oh oh it does say card. Yeah, so yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: I don't know if you can I don't think you
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: can graft the prophecies because they're not in play.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Because it's not it's not a card.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: It's still not a card, right, But I could graft
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: a creature on, Yeah, I can't graft to an artifact.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: What's interesting to me is that I'm purging a Brobner card,
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: so thinning down my Brobner with this. But I have
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: the enhanced pip of Brobner.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Which typically I have more and I have more options,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: So I mean, but.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: I mean I do.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: But ideally, where I've seen house pips really do wonders
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: is when I can have.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: More. Yeah, I'm not.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: I love this play effect because of the cost.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Well maybe it's a maybe it's a pipped card in
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: another house that's in Brobner.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Well technically yeah, and now you have to purge it.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: Did they get this play effect technically?
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: If you read the card, it says purge a Brobner
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: card from a discard pile. So if my Honan is
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: playing brob there I can purge their Brobner card and
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: then graft an anything.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: But that's an ideal situation that will also probably change.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: But that's what's worded.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Anything like it is traditionally that it's purging some Brobnar
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: cards is going to be fine. Like if you have
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: a triple deflect deck, you know what, you're purging your
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: other deflex right, and you're just fine with it. But
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: I I I don't, I mean, I'll have this is
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: a card. I feel like I need to play with
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: a little bit to decide if I like it or not.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: But I'm I like the house in hands little if
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: you're on the play effect.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Purging it, and I'm gonna place it on your ARCon card.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: There you go, crush the Merciless. Five power giants still
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: in Brobner after a creature has destroyed fighting crushed the Merciless. Ready,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: crush the Merciless. I feel like this is already a
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: brob Nark.
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: Card definitely had similar effects.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Who is it? Something in Bangsong? But no, there was
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: a card in was it? There's it's a deal, there's
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: after you. There is one that said after yeah, what's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: that one? Some something and something Bungles or something like that.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: It was Brox and Bungle. Isn't that it? Oh?
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I mean, like, somehow you find skirmish on this guy
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: and he becomes a monster, but so Brox.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: And Bongles has seven power giant Goblin after fight. If
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: this was the first time Broux and Bongle was used
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: this turn you made Ready and Reap with it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's similarly a little different for sure, but this
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: is uh yeah, like, if you can give this guy skirmish,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: he'd be a monster, but otherwise, yeah, he's a card.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Seems okay, though he'd probably kill something and Ready and
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Tips all right, the Unbreakable three power two armor Goblin
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: still in Brobner after fight war the Unbreakable and another
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: friendly creature.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: So these are both commons. You could potentially put the
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: ward on Crush Crush. Yeah, it's it's not gonna be consistent.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: And then like if they have no creatures, like Crush
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: is still just a tip over Reap, I don't I
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: don't know. And this guy, he's a small creature, has to.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Be able to fight.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: He does absorb five damage.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he's hard to kill.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Back, but it is hard to kill.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: I'm not I don't know, not again, not thrilled with this,
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: but whatever, Yeah, I.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Mean I can feel your whatever.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: Very it'll be I mean, it's part of a if
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: you have a big Brobner board. You get to keep
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: your robbin Er board longer, and it can win some
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: games that way. But it's also not you know, from
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: what we've seen, it's not doing enough to be like, wow,
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: this is going to be No, it's not something super yeah,
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: more relevant see maybe ward you know.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: M h hey, drazz your dad dress. I've said this
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: every you're driving drive somewhere else.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: No, that was me, but uh he is.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: He is right.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: The idea for awarding another friendly creature can be useful
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: on the witch status from earlier that we're talking about.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: But glitch mob.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Okah, y yep, you're three power Beast experiment to play
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: enhanced with two capture PEPs. A lot of capturing already
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: in this set. I guess it's only really been two cards.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: At the end of your turn, move Ember from a
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: neighboring creature to your pool. Mm hmmm mm hmm.
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: So you are guaranteed to get it if you have
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Amber on the board, which isn't that unlikely with what
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: we're seeing. So this card is you know, play game
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: one or two, fine, and then repeat.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: So game one it's it seems similar to on the
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: inside where it had been.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: But this chain repeats, which yes better and could reap
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: and things outside. It's a creature, so there's some negative
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: connotations to that. In the current ARCon.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: World, can be stolen.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. This guy seems fine, not amazing,
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: just fine.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Next, I just read a keyword that made me angry.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Uh glorious retreat enhanced with two Mars house PEPs in
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: the uncommon slot. That's then my and then my rage
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: boiled over. Omega, Yeah, Bega. The next words I better read,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: go you win the game or I am going to
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: flip the fuck out.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Well it doesn't say that.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Fuck play. Put each Mars creature into its owner's hand,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: destroy each creature.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: Kaboom was a good card. This is way better.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Yep, Oh, because Kaboom put them in there.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Like, this is way better because you also archived your
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: opponents Mars preachers. So if they had Mars they were like, oh,
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: I'll just leave them sit there until I need them.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: Now they're choking their hand. If they have Mars Preachers,
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: oh this card, I'll take five of them.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Also, But this is this is good. The difference is
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: cooking yourself. But I guess you can go back to Mars.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Next turn is because it's Omega, so as soon as
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: you play it, your turn done.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but you got the choice of fight if you don't.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: You can do creatures if you don't want them. Yeah, yeah, right,
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: you could hand choke yourself.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: You can hand choke yourself. Kaboom had three chains, so
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: this does not have three chains but instead has but
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: instead it has two Mars Enhanced Oh.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: No, I'm not saying it's not way better than Kaboom.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: It's definitely got two Mars Enhancement pips. This card. Yeah,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I mean I'll take three of them. I don't know
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: if I'll ever get three of them because that's six
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Mars pips.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: And my down that's this card seems solid, like I'm not.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: This is probably a five. This isn't the five realm.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Did you guys see the artwork that was on Battlefleet?
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: I mean you might have played that once or twice
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: with fraud three times.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Yeah, are you saying these.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: What has it come to with the lost things?
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: Like?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: What do you mean? What does it come to?
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: You mean, well, we just we had details.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: So like you you asked your you know, eight year
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: old to paint battle Fleet and I gave you this.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: I don't even think. I don't think it's this eight
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: year old. I think this is my two year old nephew.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: No, no, and I don't mean this.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I guess. Sorry. These are beautiful watercolors.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Maybe that's just it is. The style isn't there, And
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: I guess being hard on the the artist here because
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: I can't. I can't do this at all.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: We got to work in the morning.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I know, I know, we got work in the morning,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: but I clicked out to see who the artist was.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: And this doesn't even seem like a real name. Sorry
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: if this is you and you're listening to this, but
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: this doesn't seem like a real name. Pedro Pizza Rollo, Oh,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Piazza rollo.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, like again, it's a tales I don't have.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: But I just I feel like the style choice was
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: very different from Battlefleld.
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: I feel like you get a.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Lot of harsh edges and a lot of colors. Yes,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: this is very this is.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: Mars. Card feels very traditionally marsie to me.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Three Martian scientists, He's from Mars. After reap, you may
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: graft another friendly creature onto Hazelfras hazle frazzle. If you
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: do already a non scientist creature, yeah, that's that's very
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: that's very Mars.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: At least this is graft another friendly so it can
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: be a Mars creature.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: This is why would I want to graft another creature?
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Why would I want to take creatures off the board
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: to ready to.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: See a good creature effect? That's good.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Well you get to you get to ready a non
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: scientist creacher. Okay, so it's got. It's got to be
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: in Mars because otherwise I get jack ship.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: If you grab your whatever your broad now creature from
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: earlier to ready your other good Mars card, you're fine.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Right, But I'm saying, like the Myers card, I'm ready
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: and has to be in Mars because I read does
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: it doesn't matter, just like just like I learned earlier
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: this week that youngest bever just says it's neighbor can fight.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: It doesn't ready and fight. So if it's already used
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: and it is a reap effect, so it's slow, it's yeah.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I mean, if you have to give up a creature,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: it's mid. This is a very mid all right, thank you?
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Uh brain slug two power beasts Brain slugs, non bees, snighbors,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: gain in vulnerable.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: Can we can we talk about that in relation to
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: all in the no is not a beast.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: So yeah, there you go.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I mean then you just kill brain slug.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: Well then you rule six. Yeah, so yeah, Brain's lug
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: is the easy target here, right right, So but you
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: put him next to a taunter, he's tough.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I just want to I'm not gonna go through this card,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: but I would just like to say Data Analytics has
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: made it into KeyForge. That's all I'll say on that one.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Grave Glips glib Glibs, Grave Glibs three power Martian Soldier Elusive.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: After re grab the graft the top card of your
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: opponent's discard pile onto Grave Glibs. Each card Undergrave Glips,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you may discard a card I dig him, except it's
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: a reapability. I guess he's elusive. I don't know. I
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: want this card to be good.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: This is where high fazzl I can go ahead and
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: use the reap to Rea Pierre.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: And then I can just discard all the ship cards.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: It doesn't draw as fast as you wanted to. It
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: kind of reminds me of that Star Lines creature that
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: you could discard, but you got to read.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Draw m Was it a Helmsman Helmsman Spears or was
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: that the one that moved around?
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: Now I think that's right.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to like this card in all the
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: way make.
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: This card, but also you're grafting from their discard pile,
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: which unless they're playing a recursion deck, doesn't mean that
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: much because as they kill this card, they just go
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: back to the discard pile.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: Helmsman Spears was two power after fight after red discard
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: any number of cards from your hand, drawing a card
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: from each card.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: It still just kind of reminds me that because you
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: can make it so you always get to discard all
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: your Mars, or you get to discard all your Marsh
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: cards to try to draw more Mars on the next.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I'm also a little bit.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: It's grafting the top card of your opponent's discard to
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: grab more with a potential to graft multiple cards onto it.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: It's slow, but Christmas tree Land, you know, I love
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: to be able to have multiple cards grafted and then too, yeah.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: You can it lets you stay forever in theory, stay
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: on target. But yeah, he dies and they get other
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: cards back. So that part, like his graft location, makes
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: it that I don't actually like this card because he's
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: grafting from discard and that's doesn't seem important to me.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: At this point.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I feel like, well, you gotta be way cooler than
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: it actually is. Well, let's look at graft on the
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: next card Loud Noises from Shadows, No Pip November to play.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: It makes Wookie sad, but play you may graft a
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: creature from your hand onto a friendly creature if you
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: do deal damage equal to the grafted creature's power to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: an enemy creature, So you do get some possible efficiency
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: depending on what's in your hand, right, I.
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: Mean, and it's you know, hopefully you're using an off
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: house creature.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: That's that's the hope. That's what I'm saying that where
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: you're getting And then I mean, the thing that is
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: here and we haven't seen enough of to know if
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: it's good good is like you graph this onto your
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: graph clips and now he has another card under him
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: for making it so you can discard more when he
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: reads in the future card that makes my keys cost
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: less for each card I have grafted, Like, we.
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: Haven't seen enough value out of the grafted cards for
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: mean to like this card, yep, at least you are
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: picking what you're graphing.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I mean, there's only a handful of cards where the
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: graft is somewhat meaningful.
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of the graft and I've
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: read is graft at random, right, And that is real
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: bad because I guess it could hit something important. Grafting
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: at random from your own stuff is like playing token creatures, right.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: It's like if you have a couple of good cards
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: and you accidentally graft them into places that you can't
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: get them back from.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: We also haven't seen any cards that's like take your
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: grafted cards under your hand or anything like that.
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: Like a lot of return. This creature in every card
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: over and.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Under underneath him a General Sherman of some sort. Our
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: General Sherman esque wouldn't.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: It's like a transporter platform.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: But there you go. Yeah, car graft cards. I don't know,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and we're just not seeing enough.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: I feel like this and a lot of other effects
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: and some of the reprinting shadows is this set is
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: tilting even more into random talk deck bullshit and see
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: if it wins you the game or not? Right, Because
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: we're grafting at random from DA's all the time. We've
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: got cards that are discarding at random all the time,
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: and we got we've seen at least a few cards
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: that are playing at random from your opponent. It's just like, so,
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: I mean, I'm playing a card that is random, right,
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: and we're just throwing more and more dice rolls at
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: the outcome of the game. And that isn't.
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: Fun Now, it's fun. It isn't good? Can be fun? Well,
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: what's the result of the game. Isn't the critical thing
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: and the experience of the game. The randomness is fun,
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: But in a game where all rewards are based off
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: of outcome, it's bad.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: M all right, Well, let's talk about Danny Tanner. Danny
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: Tanner wells that is two power elf fief from Shadows
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: again another uncommon. He only gives you one Shadows pip.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: He must be super powerful to only give you one.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: He comes with skirmish and then after he fights, you
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: can discard a non Shadows card from your hand if
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: you do. Ready another friendly Shadows creature.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: Hey the first like ready and use shadow effect that
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: we've seen now.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and unfortunately it comes on kind of a low
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: power card. If you get two of these, you can
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: you get two of these on the board with no no.
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: They leave this guy alive for some reason and you
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: got your zero try and AI card. Then you slap
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: him down, fight with this guy and be like wow
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: perchur card.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Yeah good.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: I mean like this can loop into things.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Two power, so it oftentype just leaves the board as
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: soon as it got there. Sometimes but if that skirl,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: so at least it doesn't die on the fight. It
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: didn't die on a fight. But I feel like there's
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: so many cards that are just like I.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: Feel like he can do some fun things. But again
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: I don't see him as being critical to success of
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: the deck. But he can do some fun things, so
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: he'll be fun and see him.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Let's talk about Danny Dimes. You guys know Danny Dimes
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: down on Fourth Street. Dominic Dominic Dimes. I'm sorry, Dominic
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: and from shadows Elf thief play graft an enemy creature
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: onto Dominic Diames destroyed. If it's your term, put Dominic
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: Dime and each card under it into their owner's hand.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: M Yeah, okay, so this.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Worse what's his name from? Anyway? Dar Google is worst
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Dart Google no, No, it's.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: An enemy creature. It's it's low bounce, that is what
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: it is.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: Gus, and I just have to make sure I don't
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: destroy my turn.
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: But there he is.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: He has the impact to do that, so it's a
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: little weird.
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: There is some kind of weird fun combo potentially where
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: you can graft a ton of stuff under him that's yours,
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: and then they all come back to your hand when
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: you destroy him. He's like a weird archive.
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: Mm.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: They can't discard it if it's under Danny times huh.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: But they can by grafting Danny dimes to their own
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: card and then a card that's grafted that has other
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: grafted cards. I'm assuming those grafted cards go into the
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: discard that we don't have and it's.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Destroy it on your turn. So if it's destroyed on
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: any other turn, Yeah.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: So what do.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Yeah, what she's saying is the first grafted creature from
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: your opponents there, but with a chance to take care
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: and make the archive.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: But you have to kill him in the same turn.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: That seems like a lot.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Now he seems never on. Yeah, after he does, it's.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Got to be on your turn. Otherwise all those cards
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: just go to the discard Alvira Human Thief A Laura.
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: Is this like bad Pennies?
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: It's yes, well it's bad Penny's cousin, right, two power
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Human Thief. After reap, look at look at your opponent's hand.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: You may put a card from it on the bottom
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: of their deck if you do draw a card. I
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: feel like this deck with this set was designed of like, oh,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: creatures are going to be on the board and matter.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody realized how little creatures are
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: on the board nowadays, but it happens, but it does.
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and this is not a card. And see it'll
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: be fine, right if you get to reap with this,
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: you have you get the profit effect, which is whatever,
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: and then you draw card. Okay, I mean at least
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: they like took that first effect which was on some
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: other shadows card Bondsman or something, right, Bondsman Belsman or
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: something that's this reap effect, and they went, yeah, that
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: didn't do enough, so let's make.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: It draw card dude, Okay, fair enough because they said.
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: Not good enough.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so Bondsman Belvin is after fight, after reap, look
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: at the top card of your opponent's deck. You may
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: discard it. This is not from the top card from
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: hand from this is better.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, this is a good reape effect
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: from hand.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Yeah if it makes it. But let's see. You gotta
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: scroll down, scroll down, scroll Oh, calm officer, Dave or human,
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: there's a wicked, wicked awesome play after fight after reap.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: Put a card from your hand on the bottom of
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: your deck.
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: Draw card. This is this is half a reiteration fight reap,
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: half a reiteration. I like this card. I'm be fine
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: to have some of these.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: Three powers a little you know, a little rough. But hey,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: hey that's right in there with all the other com officers.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Everything seems so quite as good as it's a play effect.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: To never mind, this is pretty good. It's a play effect.
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry, it's play effect, play effect. If it was
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: just after fight, after repvictory. If he makes it, it's good.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: But it's a play effects. You're at least getting it once.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: Mikayla's call from fish play. Look at the top three
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: cards of your deck. Put any number of those cards
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: on the bottom of your deck, and just card the others.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Repeat the preceding effect on your opponent's deck. I can
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: dig this.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: Is this a rare?
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Of course? Is why would it not be? I couldn't
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: possibly get multiples of these?
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you get some efficiency, you get some disruption. It
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: seems it seems pretty good with an amber pip out
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: of sort of sort of, it's not as good, but
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: we have Darlance, No, the shadows guard. Look at the
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: top three discard one put the other two back.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Cop is that the lizard? No, it's a action. Oh
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: that I can't put my finger on.
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: It's this discard. Seems like it's it's efficiency and disruption.
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: So but it's a rare, so you'll get you'll get one. Yeah,
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: so that's a shame. This would have been cool to
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: have in multiples.
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: But no multiples here, no short short set list. You
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: get multiple rares.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: In this size, Yeah you do, but not typically the
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: same rares. But I don't know if you.
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: Actually want a ton of those, because it's still kind
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: of slow. I tak to draft disruption. Could it could
- 1:34:07Speaker 3: deal with a number pip, but it would be too
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: good then I don't know. Maybe Koelo.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: It's a beast with four power still in fish with
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: skirmish after fight graft an enemy creature card from play
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: onto Koelo. For each card under Coelo capture one.
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: An enemy card doesn't say creature it does.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: You can graft whatever you'd like, even even their prophecy cards.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: I'm putting that out there.
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and then capture. This is a solid fight effect, actually.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: Skirmish, and with skirmish this is this is a solid
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: creature right like this, This is a fight effect you're
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: happy to probably trigger. Mm hmm.
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: Don't don't hate that card a little slow still still
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: got a landing fight with them, but go to fight effect.
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: I had a name for this next card. One more
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: Oh nope, that was that's not nope. Can't do that.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: One can't do that. One can't do that. One can't
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: do that one ah, Ancient do Stalker. This one makes
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: me nervous to power human Witch elusive. After Reap grafted
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: a card from your hand onto Ancient do Stoker. If
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: there are two or more untamed cards under Ancient Do
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Stocker game two.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: Horrible teams terrible Maybe if this card came with a
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: bunch of on tamed house enhancements so you had even
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: more untamed cards. Now there there is the world where
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: well this isn't even optional. You have to graft.
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: Yes, if you have to, you have to graft, and
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: if you only gained the extra if there are two
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: or more untamed not even if there are some or more.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: And that's already hard enough.
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: You're you're thinking about it. We're thinking about too much
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: about that. The second half is too hard to get right,
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: which I agree, But think about it just as this way.
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: Elusive two power after read sloppy discard a car.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a sloppy.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: Pip, And is that really how we should think about
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: when it's grafting from hand? Just do the thing, sloppy pip,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: you have a choice. Yeah, sloppy pip. Sloppy pip, sloppy pip.
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: That that's exactly I mean, unless it actually has an effect,
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: like again through cars in your deck. You may have
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: put something else under de stocker on a not on
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: tame term that wasn't on tamed card, which means when
- 1:36:48Speaker 3: you come back to her, it may actually be worth
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: dunking a bad on tamed creature to make it read
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: game three right. That may be worth more than playing
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: you're pointless on tame card.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: But in general, don't want this basically just to me
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: says read sloppy.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: Sloppy pip, sloppy pip with possible unrealistic upside.
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: I generally like reap discard a card, So don't hate that.
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: Actually I hate it less when I read it that way.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: Then I read it as we're actually trying to do
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: Part B.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I can get on board with all of what
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: you said. I'll just have to get used to that
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: graft just being sloppy pips.
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: Imagine long sloppy pip.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: Long sloppy pip of things that are not in a
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: in a neat organized pile. Uh, that's okay, I'll survive.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: I still don't know how this is.
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: You know, it would be awful.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: Would be if they were, like, you know what, we're
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: gonna put Geistoid in this set with a bunch of
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: haunted effects. Oh that would suck, right, because it's.
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: Hard to get haunted. Hard to get haunted. Oh I like,
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: but I like the thought of that too. Like against
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: Old gr and you're grafting all your opponent's cards and
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: places and they can't get haunted because other cards are
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: just stuffed in dumb places.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: That would be cool if like gr had a meaningful
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: place in the meta right now.
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: Well, we all saw that there's a preview card out
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: there that lets you target prophecy cards. I don't know
- 1:38:33Speaker 3: where that came from, but I didn't see that.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't remember where it came from either,
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: walk Bot.
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: Oh, we're not covering those tonight.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: I know we're not covering those tonight. We are now
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: because we're just because we're covering other stuff. It is
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: Crown Eater. It is a five five power two armored dragon.
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: So it's an oboras play graft the top card of
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: your opponent's deck onto Crown Eater. So random great, random
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: discard after fight perject card from under an artifact Comma, creature,
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: comma or prophecy.
- 1:39:16Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: So here you this is a way to target cards
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: that are grafted or put under a prophecy. But it's
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: an after fight effect, so it has some loss of
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: strength because of that.
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: There's a lot of concern about it just being too slow.
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: And although I do think this is a I for
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: adding how you deal with something that's under a card
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: that isn't in a play zone per se, which is
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: all these all of this stuff, This is kind of
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: an elegant way to say that anything that's under and
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: in one of these Wonky on a play zones, because
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: this works for targeting cards under jar Google. This works
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: for targeting cards under that big fish that we just mentioned.
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: General Sherman, General Sherman. Yeah, it would target cards under
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: Crazy Killing Machine.
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Targets a lot of cards underneath other cards, not.
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: Crazy Killing Machine, Spangler box.
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: That's they're kind of the same. They do different things,
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: but the arts quite similar.
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: They're both questionable.
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: Logos are questionable.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: Those art effects, Now, sheep, were you trying to were
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: you trying to go in to vandalize earlier? For the
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: Shadows card, Look at the top three cards opponents discard
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: and want and put the others, But that's of your
- 1:40:43Speaker 2: opponent's deck.
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: Yeah, well this other one does the top three of
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: your bone stack.
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: Plus plus top three years.
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: But you can't put any of them back, right, It's
- 1:40:53Speaker 3: either discard or put them at the bottom. Yeah, So
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: in that regard, like if you're like, hey to it
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: in my creed ah crap stuff on the bottom or
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: whatever your twenty power card is. But yeah, it'll be
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: it'll be interesting to see if there are more crown
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: Eater type effects in this set that are like this,
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: where it can make sense that it's also targeting grafted cards,
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: so the whole undercard mechanic, it does make it feel
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: more elegant to me than them, just like adding random
- 1:41:34Speaker 3: can destroy cards under prophecy. This is anything under.
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: Right, because if it's only prophecy, is just targeting as
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: sets and that's no good.
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: So the problem is it's like we've only seen one. Yeah,
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: I need, well, we need we need a lot like
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: this and it's not an uncommon and it's a fight effect,
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: which means it's not meaningful enough to stop PV for
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: any regard. No, that's what I'm saying. We need a
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: lot more of these in a lot different fashion. And
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: I don't know how many were actually going to get.
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but it is for them to actually build a
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: set that just counters the last set, I mean it's not.
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: I mean they've been doing it, but it's not. Now.
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: They built a set to counter GR or at least
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: attempt to.
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: It didn't.
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: Well, right, it didn't. But they tried.
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: Amber Skies didn't.
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: But PVD, well, PV just said, fuck it, we're not
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: going to allow you to play stuff. GR said, I'm
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: going to play all the things by myself, and then
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: PV is like, well, you're just not going to play anything. Yeah,
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: cool cool.
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: Yeah, See when you were looking at Michaela's call, I
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: went more into unfathomable with drawn down in Deep Dive.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: So drawn down is look at the top three cards
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: of your opponent's deck, discard one, put one in the bottom,
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: and put one on the top of their deck.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Sure, so this card is more in line with
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: other fish cards. But you're right, I didn't think about those,
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: and there's a reason, yes, because the fish generally weren't
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: good enough to care of. Well. I remember once upon
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: a time we thought that would be a possibility, and
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: that key sheet never did a damn thing. So we
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: don't have any key sheets yet either, which is awesome.
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: No knowing of the key sheets, so I.
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: Guess we'll have to wait and see.
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: But those are your preview cards as of right now.
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: We don't know where drafts car went. Hopefully is okay?
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: Yeah, because we didn't touch this stuff put out by
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: other content creators, which was I don't know. It feels
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: like a lot of random graft for not a lot
- 1:43:54Speaker 3: of replayability. This set is giving me a Wins of
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: Exchange token vibe where there is a lot of like
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: did I graft the right card or not? Or did
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: I graft my important card at random for a mediocre
- 1:44:10Speaker 3: effect and feeling like you lost the game, like you
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: tokenized your good creature and you wanted to not write like.
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: It's It's an interesting statement because IRIS originally seen graft
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: as more control that I would be able to choose,
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: and with the random grafting, they've taken some of that
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: fun away. So I'll have to see more cards before.
- 1:44:39Speaker 3: The early grafting we saw, which we have seen like
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: none of is grafting, and the text or the abilities
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: or something from the grafted.
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: Cards carries over.
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: That's what you're using carries over.
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: We're not seeing that at all.
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: No no info, right man.
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: I think more implementcer and memoist, and in some regards,
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: I think they're probably smart to avoid that because that
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: adds a very large, very messy bunch of rules to
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: have to deal with, how does this interact with this
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: when this is on this card. There's just there are
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: too many things and to think about how all cards
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: rub together. When you can stack abilities is.
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: The active player gets to choose.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: Is not great from a YO admin side of explaining
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: how things work.
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well with what we were seeing thus far, I mean,
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: does a dethrone PV? I guess is the is the
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: big question that everyone wants to know.
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: I don't even see this touching PV. Decent number of
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: amber pips, and we arguably didn't say a bunch of
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: these cards are like zero. So like, the cards aren't bad,
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: but they don't seem great and we're not seeing any
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: consolidated game plans yet. A bunch well, yeah, absolutely, but
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: a bunch of medium cards that do medium things on
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: their own equals not that you know, Like, it's just
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: it's not doing enough. I don't think yet there isn't
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: enough payoff for the amount of work you're doing, right.
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: It's kind of like playing that.
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: I mean, that's Sleepy Dragons, Like a lot of stuff
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: doesn't care about your other cards that much outside of
- 1:46:49Speaker 3: you're just trying to get the bigger board state than
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: your opponent and winning through delta.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: And in Sleepy Dragons.
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: In Sleepy Dragons, yes, okay, well the delta SPEV doesn't
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: need board for delta, so therefore it's playing a totally
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: different game.
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: I can't not agree because I do.
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: And this set, from what we're seeing, looks like it
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: wants to be another board heavy set, which is this
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: you know, like, hey, do I get a crazy draw
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: and land five to the same house and you can't
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: stop it and I'm gonna win?
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: It's possible The answer is possibly.
- 1:47:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: We're also seeing a lot of cards being able to
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: interact with other cards due to house PEPs. Because house pips,
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: I mean you had what one uncommon had too, there
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: was a common that had one. Yeah, so I, as
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: I said, I had some thoughts on that. Thanks for
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: bringing that back. House pips.
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: Are definitely a mechanic that makes deck stronger, but it
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: is another functionally very random mechanic, right because they land
- 1:48:09Speaker 3: on cards randomly, So like, do they actually make the
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: decaton stronger or don't they? And I have found it
- 1:48:18Speaker 3: very frustrating opening Amber Skies because I feel like I've
- 1:48:23Speaker 3: never had house pips land in a arrangement that has
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: been great where I have seen plenty of other people
- 1:48:33Speaker 3: with their house enhanced you know, good shards and stuff,
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh, yeah, this makes a difference, this doesn't,
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: and it is a way, but it's such a again,
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: such a.
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: Random random way.
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: It's a lot.
- 1:48:49Speaker 3: We have so much random in this game that.
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: I'm more I'm more excited for that. I mean, honestly,
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: I opened a box of DM today in my rain
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: was from sixty nine to seventy seven and most of
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: them were literally seventy two to seventy four.
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but house pits don't increase ass I know.
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: But if you actually look at the individual decks as
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: a whole, too, nothing you jumped out. It's it was
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: a great stealed set just to play like internal, but
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: it's like, there's nothing that is competitively viable there.
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: KeyForge a couple sets ago, you know. Like and for
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: the longest time, I really loved the amount of random
- 1:49:32Speaker 3: to the amount of strategy that was in KeyForge and PV.
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: Amber Sky is in a different way, and PV in
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: a huge way, has switched the game to where I
- 1:49:47Speaker 3: feel like the random element is having too heavy of
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: an impact on the game for me to be happy
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: the random disc cards. Sometimes it helps you, sometimes it
- 1:50:02Speaker 3: hurts you. Aspect of the game. It's just they're the
- 1:50:06Speaker 3: oppression of how often they randomly discard, and PB makes
- 1:50:09Speaker 3: it that that often overcomes the randomness. But the ask
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: again later stuff, the flip the top card of the
- 1:50:16Speaker 3: deck and that you can or can't play kind of
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: stuff is just like it's all so random that it
- 1:50:24Speaker 3: I just you know, it's like there's too many coin
- 1:50:26Speaker 3: flips to deciding the outcomes.
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: For me to.
- 1:50:32Speaker 3: You know, feel like I am making a ton of
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: meaningful decisions. I mean, I'm playing a card that has
- 1:50:39Speaker 3: a very high effect, so yes, I want to play
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: it because that coin flip when it goes right is
- 1:50:44Speaker 3: so huge that it's worth the chance that it doesn't.
- 1:50:48Speaker 3: I get that the card is strong, but just the
- 1:50:50Speaker 3: fact that it is a coin flip. And then you've
- 1:50:52Speaker 3: seen games and finals and stuff lose. We watched, you know,
- 1:50:57Speaker 3: we watched on fav Dexter win the finals essentially because
- 1:51:03Speaker 3: he grack and reformed the trink's creed off his opponus deck, right,
- 1:51:06Speaker 3: And it's like, okay, I mean that happened, But was
- 1:51:14Speaker 3: that was that Dexter playing like ooh, I'm crafting to
- 1:51:19Speaker 3: make this happen. No, it's just like whooo, there's literally went,
- 1:51:26Speaker 3: And that's that's how games are ending right now. They're like,
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: all right, I'm I put down under ask again later
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: I've got my strategic faint and if it flipped right
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: and you don't get to play actions, I win the
- 1:51:38Speaker 3: game because I know you can't stop me, and if
- 1:51:40Speaker 3: you can, you win. And that's just where this game
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: went to. And now it's down two coin flips. Two
- 1:51:45Speaker 3: coin flips did ask and trigger? Okay, top card of
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: your deck? Was it the right one?
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: Like? So are you saying that even even with the
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: new changes on the new eratas, like that wasn't enough
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: to change that.
- 1:51:59Speaker 3: Erratas did nothing to impact TV meaningfully.
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: Okay, took gleaming.
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: About All it did was take gleaming the cube out
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: as a very very strong prophecy all the time to
- 1:52:12Speaker 3: only a strong prophecy or a strong fate effect in
- 1:52:17Speaker 3: with very specific prophecies.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: I mean, it's it impacted atrocity as well, But.
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: There's Atrocity is another one of these totally random cards
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: that I'm talking about.
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: It's like, oh, hey, that's the house I was gonna call. Anyways,
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: I fight Atrocity and nothing mattered, or oh my gosh,
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: just through random luck. Although I've already played seven of
- 1:52:37Speaker 3: my logos cards, we just put three off in a row. Wow,
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: you sure made good choices over there. Now, just random luck.
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: That's how it went. This was dumb, like it's it
- 1:52:51Speaker 3: is a I find it to be more of a
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: frustrating experience than a whole look at how well I
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: played experience.
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: So and and I deal world. Right, let's not think
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: about well, you're going to piss a bunch of people off. Yeah,
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: in an ideal world. How do you fix the situation?
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: PV?
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: Just like where we're at in the game in general,
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: if I were like, Okay, I need to fix this,
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: and I need to do something drastic to fix it,
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: or maybe it's not drastic.
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: I mean everything else is.
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: The same, right, Like, you're not thinking about, well, this
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: is really going to drastically affect the player base or
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: whatever the case may be. If you were just like,
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: I need to fix this, now, how would I fix this?
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: This is a safety issue, sheep? How do you fix
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: this safety issue?
- 1:53:44Speaker 5: I like the.
- 1:53:46Speaker 3: First thing you do is you take away the invisibility
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: of prophecies, like you let them know. So it's strategic
- 1:53:55Speaker 3: play back and forth. I put you in this trap?
- 1:54:00Speaker 3: Can you work around it? Not this constant bluffing junk
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: that we have now.
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: Well, it simply won't allow you to put sloppy pips
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: in there. You have to know.
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: No, I'm not even saying you have to stop that.
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: I just get to know, right, So there's half that
- 1:54:20Speaker 3: thing is if you put you know, and I also
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: think asked again later, I still hate that card for
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: many reasons, mostly too much tax on the game. So
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: it's random aspect. I don't how you fix it. But
- 1:54:33Speaker 3: outside of that one, just about every other prophecy that
- 1:54:36Speaker 3: you put it under, and I see you put a
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: discard pip under there, and I know you have good prophecies,
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: I might choose not to trigger it just because I
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: know I'm locking that card up with a junk prophecy.
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: So that way, I'm trying to set up to where
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: I trigger that in a time frame where you then
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: putting what I know you have for strong prophecies under
- 1:54:56Speaker 3: there isn't as meaningful against me. It makes it so
- 1:54:59Speaker 3: it's more or thought provoking on both player sides. If,
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: in my opinion, if you have that knowledge where you're
- 1:55:09Speaker 3: it's clear what people are going on, like the decisions
- 1:55:14Speaker 3: you are making, you're forcing your opponent to make real decisions,
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: not oh is this real or is this not flip
- 1:55:22Speaker 3: coin kind of stuff that we have going on now?
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: Is is it too much to just be like, all right,
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: PV is done, We're going to retire the set. We're
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: gonna ban it from competitive play.
- 1:55:37Speaker 3: I think if you do that, you definitely have a
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: bunch of people who just go, this is not a
- 1:55:45Speaker 3: trustworthy game or game company to spend any money with.
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: Is But is it, again, given all the other things
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: not thinking of that, is that a viable solution.
- 1:56:01Speaker 3: If you want GR to be purely dominant again?
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't think that Amber Skies are draconian measures
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: or even what we've seen from Fractured Reality has that ability.
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Shattered Reality. Fractured Reality is a magic set
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: that will be coming out this year. Now I'm not
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: see I mean like amber Skuy's has enough disruption. Maybe
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: I don't see it in DM or what we're seeing
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: here that has anything to deal with GR power outside
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: of if there is and it's random. So it doesn't
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: feel good if there's enough random Because my biggest thought
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: on that is I see people say just get rid
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: of it and be done, and at the same notion.
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: I'm like, well, what's the risk reward there?
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: Do I lose a bunch of people? Because I just
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: was like, hey, we I mean if you came out
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: and made a whole hearted effort like we fucked up, right,
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: Like do you think there's enough people who will be like, yeah,
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: you did, but we forgive you and we can move
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: on or more just like deuces, I'm out.
- 1:57:10Speaker 3: I think it's too small that any decisions you make
- 1:57:14Speaker 3: like that your loss versus your gain isn't meaningful enough
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: to do it right, Like gain ten percent, lose ten percent?
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: Who cares that?
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: That's nothing?
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: And you know it's it's hard to say how much
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: we've lost from TV. We know it's been higher, but
- 1:57:31Speaker 3: I seriously think even them coming back and saying Peb's
- 1:57:35Speaker 3: band like doesn't build confidence at what?
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: At what point though, do we let it continue? Because
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: this is a set to now and we've been on
- 1:57:48Speaker 1: kind of an every other set rotation, right, so like
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: we've had like a really good set and then kind
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: of I mean I can't say that because we had
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: a really good set and well, and then we had
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: another really good set in Grim Reminders, which Grim Reminders
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: kind of replaced well. And then we had ember Sky's
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: which was a thing, and then we had quite as good,
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: but it was it wasn't quite as good as grim reminders.
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: Then we had PV, which is left everything in the dust,
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: and then we had your Coronian measures.
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: It's just kind of a stinker, but we keep saying
- 1:58:24Speaker 3: it leaves everything in the dust, and it's it is
- 1:58:27Speaker 3: very strong.
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: It's winning everything. The only thing as far as.
- 1:58:31Speaker 3: Portland dominating top eight, it is it's more than a
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: so having fifty it's like, no, it was two thirds
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: in one.
- 1:58:42Speaker 5: No.
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: Having just done the cast for UH pre Paris Vaults,
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: it was seven out of the eight. Yeah, I haven't
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: watched its seven out of the eight arc on UH
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: in the US been purely yeah, but there's been more well.
- 1:58:59Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not saying it isn't strong, but I'm
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: saying it isn't.
- 1:59:04Speaker 1: Say I think it's more of a community thing, not
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: bring dominant well, right, but it's not allowing anything. I mean,
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: what one point did PV win Portland? I can't remember.
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: I don't I think it did win Portland. Somebody can.
- 1:59:23Speaker 3: I'm not saying it is strong, but I think they're
- 1:59:26Speaker 3: they have enough thing to say, well, it doesn't just
- 1:59:31Speaker 3: just own everything. Do they have enough scapegoating available to them?
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: I just I think it has been quite dominant, right,
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: and at what point do we go?
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: Oh? I agree, it is totally dominant, and I think
- 1:59:49Speaker 3: it needs a nerve. I don't think the eliminating it
- 1:59:53Speaker 3: from an.
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: Entire set is the is the because I don't I
- 1:59:58Speaker 1: don't even know if having Well, okay, so it's played
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: face it up. But now I get to yah, pick
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: my poison is enough either?
- 2:00:05Speaker 3: So no either.
- 2:00:07Speaker 2: So port Portland's ARCon was ned Mike on PV. Now
- 2:00:11Speaker 2: VM twenty five did take runner up. There you had
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: gr amber Sky's PV GR.
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: And Portland was kind of the weird one because even
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: I mean even people were saying, like Saint Louis was
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: nothing like Portland.
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: Right, six players there, Yeah, we have forty in Saint
- 2:00:29Speaker 2: Louis's PVPV amber Sky's PVPV Coda GR talk, So you
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: had a little bit there. And then France we see
- 2:00:40Speaker 2: literally PV except for one DM, and that DM having
- 2:00:46Speaker 2: talked the boys, this is the top rated DM deck
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: in the world according to Oka, and that took top
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: eight and that was it everything else? There's nothing else
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: that touched it for our gun.
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: I mean, it needs addressing. I don't know how much
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: wueaking it needs to bring it in line with high
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: end power from other sets.
- 2:01:19Speaker 3: I really don't know. I'm not playing PV too. I
- 2:01:23Speaker 3: don't know. I'm not playing enough key Forge to actually
- 2:01:25Speaker 3: answer that question right now.
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: And Baltimore was pvpv g R PVPV amber Sky's g
- 2:01:31Speaker 2: R PV so yes, in the US, we've seen other
- 2:01:37Speaker 2: sets be able to go from talk to uh gr
- 2:01:42Speaker 2: tamber Sky's amber Skis for the most part has just
- 2:01:45Speaker 2: been Olympio, which has been top eight and everything.
- 2:01:50Speaker 3: I mean, but it's one deck.
- 2:01:55Speaker 2: Well but but but but that's it like but but
- 2:01:58Speaker 2: that That's what I'm saying is you have these freak decks.
- 2:02:00Speaker 2: So you have Fraud there with Coda, you have Olympio
- 2:02:03Speaker 2: there with amber Skies. You have Donatis, which is well
- 2:02:09Speaker 2: known and represents gr there and is there now. Interestingly enough,
- 2:02:14Speaker 2: the Shiftless Footman was also g R Occathy taking top
- 2:02:17Speaker 2: four and kind of did something that others had not
- 2:02:21Speaker 2: seen before. It is interesting to look at the decks.
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: The DM deck from Paris was as I said the
- 2:02:28Speaker 2: top literally top right deck.
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: I know we got we've gone well off target. We've
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: been on for multiple hours.
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: Maybe we'll talk about that another time. Maybe that's a
- 2:02:38Speaker 1: topic for next week. I know me and me and
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: sheep are getting CP. So with that being said, we'll
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: see you all next week.
- 2:02:49Speaker 2: May the Forge be with you.
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: That's sad down, no rom and break somebody. It's a grouse.
- 2:03:11Speaker 5: My son came back in the cart and a cry
- 2:03:14Speaker 5: back you read becoming no one fart.
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: It's a fun, but it wasn't so
