• 0:15
Speaker 1: here in NHL Unscripted. So they's Standing Performance by Male
• 0:18
Speaker 1: Actor and Lead Role. And let's be honest, somebody really
• 0:20
Speaker 1: gives a crap about the SAgs. Just how does it
• 0:22
Speaker 1: impact the Academy Awards, Because now the nominations have been
• 0:24
Speaker 1: pushed back, They're supposed to be January seventeenth, they'll not
• 0:27
Speaker 1: be January twenty third, and of course the Oscars will
• 0:29
Speaker 1: take place. We hope our second fingers crossed. So what
• 0:32
Speaker 1: does this mean, you say, the SAG Awards. How does
• 0:33
Speaker 1: this impact the Oscars? Well, I think the five actors
• 0:36
Speaker 1: nominated for Best Actor of the SAgs will be the
• 0:38
Speaker 1: five actors nominie for Best Actor at the Oscars. Adrian
• 0:41
Speaker 1: Brodie right now is the favorite for the brutalist Timotas.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: Shalome Tal's favorite for Bob Dylan, Daniel Craig for queer
• 0:47
Speaker 1: James Bond playing a gay man hooked up on Heroin
• 0:49
Speaker 1: in the nineteen fifties. Sign me up, Coleman Domingo in
• 0:53
Speaker 1: Sing Sing and Ray finds your guys, you said, conclave,
• 0:56
Speaker 1: bunch of popes poping.
• 0:58
Speaker 3: Here's where it gets interesting.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: The Best Performance by Female Actor and Lead Role. I
• 1:01
Speaker 1: do not believe these will be the nominees for the
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Academy Awards. I do believe my girl, Mikey Madison and
• 1:05
Speaker 1: I've championed Honora from the beginning, despite you disparaging it
• 1:08
Speaker 1: as saying the first forty five minutes was blood NEWI
• 1:10
Speaker 1: before saying you enjoyed the rest of the film.
• 1:12
Speaker 3: Nobody for Tala Tell's gonna like it more than you.
• 1:14
Speaker 3: He's gonna be with me like Due Donor is a
• 1:15
  Speaker 3: great movie.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: Mikey Maddis is the favorite to win the Oscar to
• 1:18
Speaker 1: me More though won the Golden Globes, and now we
• 1:20
Speaker 1: get a two horse race here this woman. This is
• 1:21
Speaker 1: the first major award Demi Moore's forty five year career.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: So did you go Mikey Madison, young new breakthrough actress
• 1:27
Speaker 1: or do you give dem More basically the Life Timigiement Award.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: Then you got the Two of the Sloughs, which I
• 1:31
Speaker 1: do think will be at the Oscars. Carlos, Sophia Gascon
• 1:34
Speaker 1: Familia Press. She's gonna make history first ever transactor nominated
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: for Best Actress.
• 1:38
Speaker 3: That's going to happen. And Cynthia Riva for Wicked, which wasn't.
• 1:41
Speaker 1: I wasn't crazy about Alpha, but here's the nomination the
• 1:43
Speaker 1: Sagstead which will not be at the Oscars.
• 1:45
Speaker 3: But I love that the SAgs do this. They zig
• 1:46
Speaker 3: once in a while.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: Pamela Anderson for The Last Girl, so she got nominated
• 1:51
Speaker 1: for a Golden Globe. And I'll tell you this show.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: I actually really liked the movie. It was written by
• 1:54
Speaker 1: a first time screenwriter. It's directed by Gia Coppola, who
• 1:57
Speaker 1: is in the Copla family obviously, and I like Dave
• 2:00
Speaker 1: Bautista plays like the love interest.
• 2:01
Speaker 3: He plays with this heavy.
• 2:02
Speaker 1: Set, you know, muscular, angry bastard, and there's got some
• 2:05
Speaker 1: good interesting I thought the worst part of the movie
• 2:07
Speaker 1: was Ostie Pamela Anderson. Now I thought she was fine.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: But I'm sure you love The Wrestler as much as
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: I do.
• 2:12
Speaker 3: I adore that film, Darren Aranofsky, Mickey Rock, great movie.
• 2:15
Speaker 3: The Last Show Girl was like the female version of
• 2:17
  Speaker 3: The Wrestler.
• 2:18
  Speaker 2: AGM like, yeah.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: No, I love The Wrestle was incredible, so I'm watching
• 2:21
Speaker 1: it go okay. So basically they must have watched The
• 2:22
Speaker 1: Wrestler a bunch of times ago. Let's make this a
• 2:24
Speaker 1: female version rather than Mickey Rourke all bulked up.
• 2:26
Speaker 3: It's Pamela Anderson. Whoever would have thought the pride.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: Of Vancouver, British Columbia, known for running around a red
• 2:32
Speaker 1: bathing suit. Well, one day I get a Golden Globe
• 2:34
Speaker 1: nomination for Best Actress and a drama. But it's not
• 2:36
Speaker 1: gonna happen. It's a nice story because it is exactly
• 2:39
Speaker 1: what you expect. She's the last show girl Vegas Strip.
• 2:41
Speaker 1: The show's closing down. She's looking at her life. She
• 2:43
Speaker 1: was a bad mother, she was, you know, delinquent, all
• 2:45
Speaker 1: these things and you know reflect listen. I actually think
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: it's a good script in a good movie. I just
• 2:49
Speaker 1: didn't think she was pickarly strong. But am I happy
• 2:50
Speaker 1: for of course? Can they didn't get some love?
• 2:52
  Speaker 3: Why not?
• 2:53
Speaker 2: Who do you think takes it home?
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: So I think I think no, I think it's a
• 2:56
Speaker 1: two horse race. I originally thought Mikey Madison was gonna
• 2:58
Speaker 1: win the Actress oscwa. I do think to me, Moore's
• 3:00
Speaker 1: got a great case and this has happened many a time.
• 3:02
Speaker 1: I mean, I remember the year Glenn Close has never
• 3:04
Speaker 1: won an Academy Awards seven time nominee nominated for a
• 3:07
Speaker 1: film called The Wife, which was okay, it was fairly average,
• 3:10
Speaker 1: and they go, well, she's gonna wink the Life of
• 3:12
Speaker 1: Achievement Award, and then what happened. Olivia Coleman won for
• 3:14
Speaker 1: the Favorite, and I was like, what because they love
• 3:16
Speaker 1: their British actresses and she even she was stunned. So
• 3:18
Speaker 1: there's this feeling right now that hate to me more
• 3:20
Speaker 1: at the substance crazy movie crazy you you guys have
• 3:23
Speaker 1: to watch it. I cannot wait to discuss her with
• 3:25
Speaker 1: the podcast, but I still think Mikey Madison is the favorite.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: Now we'll do a couple more supporting performance by male actor.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: Supporting role Jonathan Billy Wicked Beck. You're a borisof Anora.
• 3:35
Speaker 3: Fantastic. This guy's story is great. So Russian actor very
• 3:38
  Speaker 3: much grayish.
• 3:39
Speaker 1: Sean Baker casts him and he starts to pick up
• 3:42
Speaker 1: more English. He said, I kind of being in America.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: I was one of the first guys to set and
• 3:45
Speaker 1: this is set in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. He goes, I
• 3:47
Speaker 1: used a lot of my alienation in the movie, and
• 3:49
Speaker 1: I'm with you. You watch that movie, dude, he in
• 3:51
Speaker 1: a very You can appreciate this. He doesn't have a
• 3:53
Speaker 1: lot of words, right, he doesn't have a lot of
• 3:54
Speaker 1: seeing stealing moments. He makes his moments.
• 3:56
Speaker 2: Count understated, and you know, I just love that last
• 4:00
Speaker 2: twenty minutes when he's with his parents and you see
• 4:02
Speaker 2: the true relationship with his mother and all that. That's
• 4:05
Speaker 2: where I was like, Okay, this kid is he's got
• 4:08
  Speaker 2: something here.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: You're a boras off. Get ready for a first time
• 4:10
Speaker 1: Oscar nominie. Guy's gonna win Kieran Culkin a real pain.
• 4:13
Speaker 1: How about this? Whoever thought Kieran Culkin Acculeague's brother would
• 4:16
Speaker 1: win an Emmy for succession and one day win an
• 4:19
Speaker 1: Oscar for a real pain.
• 4:20
Speaker 3: I liked the movie.
• 4:21
Speaker 1: I didn't love it, but I thought he was fabulous.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: I thought he was the best part of the movie.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: And one more for you female actors supporting roll, this
• 4:26
Speaker 1: is the one that makes the least sense. Of the
• 4:29
Speaker 1: five nominees by the SAgs, two will get nominated for
• 4:31
Speaker 1: the Oscar and the favorite twin right now is Arina
• 4:33
Speaker 1: Grande for Wicked excuse me.
• 4:35
Speaker 3: Zoey Seldon is a favorite to win for.
• 4:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, Zoey se is a favorite. Yeah, you didn't like
• 4:39
Speaker 2: you didn't like Wicked at all? Right, you know I
• 4:41
Speaker 2: gotta be on Broadway. Community's gonna come for you.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: My wife and I saw the stage show James Chicago
• 4:46
Speaker 1: and listen, man, I love Mulah Rouge. I love Westside
• 4:48
Speaker 1: Story like I can get down the musical. I just
• 4:50
Speaker 1: didn't think the songs were that great. If I go
• 4:52
Speaker 1: to musical, I used the songs better be Killer, and
• 4:54
Speaker 1: I did not think they slapped, with the exception of
• 4:57
Speaker 1: defind Gravity, which is the last song which everyone's hearing
• 4:59
Speaker 1: now on TikTok radio and popular is not bad by.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: But I did not think the music was that good.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: And my wife Feen was coming meantime. It's got twelve.
• 5:05
Speaker 2: Am I wrong? Yeah?
• 5:06
Speaker 3: Am I wrong? Wicked was ignored by the Baptist. Am
• 5:10
  Speaker 3: I wrong? No?
• 5:11
Speaker 1: The Brits are with me as well, the ones who
• 5:13
Speaker 1: will get on for the Oscar. The movie that you
• 5:15
Speaker 1: guys have to watch, Felicty Jones and The Brutalist.
• 5:17
Speaker 3: I love that film. It's unbelievable.
• 5:19
Speaker 2: I'm watching The Brutalist too.
• 5:21
Speaker 3: I you know, the Brutalist is what I'm telling you
• 5:23
Speaker 3: right now. Anor and the Brutalist are my two favorites.
