Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:05Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:09Speaker 1: Kate Torber and coming up on today's show. Steph Clare
- 0:12Speaker 1: Smith announces her husband's vasectomy. Brit Hockley confirms she's moving
- 0:17Speaker 1: to Italy. Liv Kelly is back with her ex following
- 0:20Speaker 1: Rhys Hawkins' fling. Sarah's Day slams Japanese dining experience and
- 0:25Speaker 1: Vedan defends her annual birthday extravaganza. But first, Sammy Robinson
- 0:30Speaker 1: has unveiled a new collaboration with a cocktail brand called Quips.
- 0:34Speaker 1: The video, which saw Sammy miming to Celine Dion's All
- 0:37Speaker 1: Coming Back to Me, helped launch a new limited edition flavor.
- 0:41Speaker 1: This clip went absolutely viral, Amy, but it looked really familiar. Yeah,
- 0:46Speaker 1: so Quips has been really clever. They've actually played off
- 0:48Speaker 1: a viral moment that Sammy had in 2021 on TikTok
- 0:51Speaker 1: where she mimed to this very song. And her video
- 0:54Speaker 1: got over 4 million views. And considering this was essentially
- 0:57Speaker 1: a dupe of that video, it's had its own success.
- 1:00Speaker 1: It's had over half a million views. I mean, you
- 1:03Speaker 1: can see why this went off on social media. The
- 1:05Speaker 1: production level was a lot higher than the original video
- 1:08Speaker 1: that she shared on TikTok. And she looked absolutely stunning
- 1:11Speaker 1: in it. The funny thing is, though, a lot of
- 1:13Speaker 1: social media experts say in order for a piece of
- 1:15Speaker 1: content to go viral on TikTok or Instagram, that you
- 1:18Speaker 1: have to shoot it in a vertical video. It should
- 1:21Speaker 1: be shot on your phone and not on a professional camera.
- 1:23Speaker 1: This piece of content was beautifully shot. It has defied
- 1:26Speaker 1: all of the social media experts. I wonder if we're
- 1:28Speaker 1: going to see it popping up on our TV screens,
- 1:30Speaker 1: particularly because of the production level and the fact that
- 1:32Speaker 1: it was actually shot as a TVC.
- 1:34Speaker 2: We might.
- 1:35Speaker 1: The interesting thing about this brand is that Sammy revealed
- 1:38Speaker 1: on TikTok that she's such a big fan that she
- 1:40Speaker 1: actually wanted to own the company. Let's have a listen
- 1:43Speaker 1: to what she said. I wanted to acquire their business.
- 1:46Speaker 1: They said... I wonder if she got inspiration to ask
- 1:56Speaker 1: that question off the back of Sarah's Day being a
- 1:58Speaker 1: shareholder and hirer. You've also got Indy Clinton who now
- 2:01Speaker 1: owns shares in Booth Hair. I can see why she
- 2:03Speaker 1: would want a piece of the pie considering she has
- 2:06Speaker 1: had so much success with her own business, One Mile
- 2:08Speaker 1: as well. She is someone you want as the face
- 2:10Speaker 1: of your brand. Well, she might even be taking inspiration
- 2:13Speaker 1: from influencer Alex Earle. Because she has invested in the
- 2:16Speaker 1: company Poppy, which was then acquired for some huge amount
- 2:19Speaker 1: of money. Surely Sammy is at least a small investor
- 2:22Speaker 1: in this business. Yeah, surely they gave her a couple
- 2:24Speaker 1: of shares. I mean, I think that this is going
- 2:26Speaker 1: to be common practice we see moving forward with big
- 2:29Speaker 1: influencers and getting them across the line to work with brands.
- 2:32Speaker 1: The funny thing is that this drink is a cocktail
- 2:34Speaker 1: in a pouch. And so Sammy was sharing all these
- 2:36Speaker 1: videos of her and her friends drinking it. And it
- 2:39Speaker 1: looked like they were sucking down one of those yogurts
- 2:41Speaker 1: in a pouch. And I just thought, Sammy's so classy
- 2:44Speaker 1: and she goes to all of these cool events. And
- 2:46Speaker 1: I can't imagine people drinking cocktails like that. I can
- 2:49Speaker 1: imagine more people taking this cocktail onto a bus or
- 2:52Speaker 1: something and trying to do free drinks. Yeah, well, let's
- 2:54Speaker 1: be honest. Her target audience are probably Gen Zers. So,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you know, while Sammy might not be slurping back the
- 3:00Speaker 1: cocktails from a pouch, her followers probably are. The thing
- 3:04Speaker 1: is she made it look cool. So I was even
- 3:06Speaker 1: sold on it. I don't even really like cocktails, but
- 3:08Speaker 1: I was like, I could drink that. That looks delicious.
- 3:09Speaker 1: The branding looked good.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Let's do a birthday haul of everything I bought on
- 3:14Speaker 3: the annual Fadan birthday extravaganza.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Popular TikToker Fadan has been forced to defend her annual
- 3:20Speaker 1: birthday haul. Kate, can you tell us more? So for
- 3:23Speaker 1: those not familiar with Fadan, she is a 47-year-old divorce
- 3:27Speaker 1: lawyer with over 1.3 million followers on TikTok. And she
- 3:31Speaker 1: is best known for sharing the platters that she eats
- 3:34Speaker 1: on a Saturday. Now, for the last couple of years,
- 3:37Speaker 1: Fadan has taken her followers along for the ride of
- 3:39Speaker 1: what she calls the annual Fadan birthday extravaganza. Now, the
- 3:44Speaker 1: date consists of Fadan booking herself a hotel, taking herself
- 3:49Speaker 1: out for lunch, and then having this massive shopping spree. Wait,
- 3:52Speaker 1: is this all by herself? Yeah, so she is married
- 3:55Speaker 1: and she has twins, but this is a date just
- 3:57Speaker 1: for her. So she stays in the hotel by herself.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Like it is her just running amok enjoying it and
- 4:02Speaker 1: she films it for all of her followers to enjoy. See,
- 4:04Speaker 1: if I had heard this story before having a child,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I would have been like, what the hell? Like, why
- 4:08Speaker 1: would you want to do that? And now this actually
- 4:10Speaker 1: sounds like a great idea. Well, I mean, I would
- 4:13Speaker 1: like to go with you though, considering that we share
- 4:15Speaker 1: a birthday. Oh, well, yeah, but like going childless and husbandless,
- 4:19Speaker 1: that sounds good. And this isn't, Amy, your typical spending spree.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It is a designer shopping spree. So this year, Fadan
- 4:28Speaker 1: reportedly spent almost $ 20, 000 on herself. Now, this was actually
- 4:33Speaker 1: only a guesstimate from a follower. Other years, she has
- 4:35Speaker 1: done this full cost breakdown. However, this year, she didn't
- 4:39Speaker 1: mention any of the prices. And she threw her followers
- 4:42Speaker 1: off because it took her a week to actually upload
- 4:45Speaker 1: the haul after she filmed herself at the shops. And
- 4:49Speaker 1: this led to speculation that she had returned the items
- 4:52Speaker 1: she filmed herself purchasing. Another person then accused her of
- 4:56Speaker 1: not staying overnight in the hotel that she booked. Well,
- 4:58Speaker 1: so people are like at first, oh my God, this
- 5:00Speaker 1: rich bitch. And then they're like, wait a sec, you
- 5:02Speaker 1: faked this. Yeah, exactly. That's exactly what happened. Do you
- 5:05Speaker 1: think there's any truth to it?
- 5:07Speaker 3: No.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So Fadan has publicly addressed the accusations on her TikTok
- 5:11Speaker 1: and she came with receipts. So she ended up showing
- 5:14Speaker 1: a booking confirmation for the hotel she stayed at, but
- 5:17Speaker 1: the follower was actually correct. So Fadan explained that she
- 5:20Speaker 1: didn't end up staying the night at the hotel because
- 5:22Speaker 1: she needed to be in court the following day. And
- 5:25Speaker 1: she also said she just wanted to get home and
- 5:26Speaker 1: get things organized for her twins because it was a
- 5:29Speaker 1: Sunday night and, you know, she likes to be organized
- 5:31Speaker 1: for Monday morning. Wait, but what time? I mean, normally
- 5:33Speaker 1: you check into a hotel, what, you can check in
- 5:35Speaker 1: about 2pm. So she was there for what, a few hours? Well,
- 5:39Speaker 1: she kept going on how tired she was. So, I mean,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I can kind of get that, you know, when you've like,
- 5:44Speaker 1: had a big day at the shops. And then all
- 5:46Speaker 1: you kind of want to do is maybe just go
- 5:48Speaker 1: home and veg out. Like she's probably thinking of the
- 5:50Speaker 1: traffic's going to be horrendous the next day. Let's just
- 5:53Speaker 1: call it a day. Rich people problems just flat out
- 5:55Speaker 1: from shopping, doing a $ 20, 000 shopping spree. To be fair,
- 5:59Speaker 1: she went to a lot of stores. She would have
- 6:02Speaker 1: done a lot of walking around. And then also just
- 6:04Speaker 1: having to converse with the people in the designer stores.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Like Not that I've actually ever bought anything from there,
- 6:08Speaker 1: but I can imagine it would be quite tiring having
- 6:11Speaker 1: to sort of keep up this front. Yeah, well, that
- 6:13Speaker 1: was part of the reason why she put this haul
- 6:14Speaker 1: up so late because she was just so tired. Kate,
- 6:17Speaker 1: can you share with us what she actually bought? All right.
- 6:20Speaker 1: So she bought herself Fendi shoes and a Fendi bag,
- 6:25Speaker 1: YSL sunglasses, Christian Dior shoes, a Valentino necklace, bag, sunglasses
- 6:32Speaker 1: and shoes, a Burberry bag and hat, And a Louis
- 6:36Speaker 1: Vuitton reversible bag. I'm kind of surprised that this all
- 6:39Speaker 1: just cost $ 20, 000. That sounds like it would be a
- 6:42Speaker 1: lot more. To be honest, I actually didn't really like
- 6:45Speaker 1: a lot of the stuff. So I wonder if it was,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you know, they're big brands, but kind of the cheaper stuff. Maybe.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I heard Stephen Bartlett from Diary of a CEO. He
- 6:53Speaker 1: was talking about how when he first made a lot
- 6:56Speaker 1: of money, he wanted to wear all this branded stuff.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But now he realizes being a rich person that it's
- 7:00Speaker 1: really tacky. like having the big designer brands just splashed
- 7:04Speaker 1: all over you. Yeah. I don't want to throw shade
- 7:06Speaker 1: at Fadan because I mean, you do you on your
- 7:09Speaker 1: birthday and buy whatever you want. But the video is
- 7:11Speaker 1: documenting her actually selecting the items. It kind of just
- 7:14Speaker 1: seemed like there wasn't much thought put into it. And
- 7:17Speaker 1: it was kind of like, oh, well, this shop is fancy.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So I have to kind of buy a few things.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's pretty funny because someone ended up asking her what
- 7:24Speaker 1: her husband bought her. And she said that she'll have
- 7:26Speaker 1: to do a separate video on it. But it's like,
- 7:29Speaker 1: how much stuff can you get? Like, What's your husband
- 7:31Speaker 1: meant to buy you if you're already doing your own
- 7:33Speaker 1: spending spree? You've bought sunglasses, a bag, a hat, like
- 7:36Speaker 1: what else is left really? There's no perfume. Maybe he
- 7:39Speaker 1: got a perfume.
- 7:41Speaker 2: People were asking questions and I think it's because we're
- 7:43Speaker 2: actually knowing.
- 7:44Speaker 1: About how he got fired. Britt Hockley has confirmed she's
- 7:47Speaker 1: moving to Italy to be with her husband, Ben. As
- 7:50Speaker 1: we discussed on Tuesday's show, the Life Uncut host hinted
- 7:53Speaker 1: a move was imminent, in a Spotify wrap thank you
- 7:56Speaker 1: video sent to Life Uncut's top fans. So Britt announced
- 7:59Speaker 1: what we'd all been thinking in the most recent episode
- 8:02Speaker 1: of Life Uncut, and she opened up about how hard
- 8:05Speaker 1: the last six months has been for her and Ben
- 8:07Speaker 1: after they got married in Bali. She said they wanted
- 8:10Speaker 1: to be together more than ever, especially after tying the knot,
- 8:14Speaker 1: but it's actually been the longest that they've ever been apart.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I really don't know how they've done long distance for
- 8:18Speaker 1: six months following the wedding. That would have been super
- 8:21Speaker 1: tough considering you would have had this massive buildup and
- 8:24Speaker 1: it would have felt so special. And then suddenly you
- 8:26Speaker 1: were just back to doing long distance again. It would
- 8:28Speaker 1: have been really weird. I mean, Britt was saying that
- 8:29Speaker 1: she's looking forward to all of the mundane things with Ben.
- 8:32Speaker 1: She said, I just want to watch TV with him.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I want to go on a walk. And she said,
- 8:35Speaker 1: that sounds really boring, but they're things that they haven't
- 8:38Speaker 1: actually been able to do together since they've been married
- 8:40Speaker 1: or even since they've been in a relationship.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Particularly because when they are together, it seems like they're
- 8:46Speaker 1: trying to make the most of it. So they're on
- 8:47Speaker 1: this really beautiful holiday together. They're not doing normal things.
- 8:52Speaker 1: During this episode, Laura and Britt also address rumors that
- 8:55Speaker 1: they were fired from their radio show, The 3PM Pickup,
- 8:58Speaker 1: after joking about it on their previous episode. Let's have
- 9:01Speaker 1: a listen to what they said. We aren't doing The Pickup.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I know we made jokes about it, but we aren't
- 9:06Speaker 2: doing the radio show next year.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we did say we got fired a lot, which
- 9:09Speaker 1: we kind of did.
- 9:10Speaker 3: We sort of just, we were like, we got fired
- 9:12Speaker 3: and they were like, see ya.
- 9:13Speaker 1: We didn't really give any explanation, but yeah. So Laura
- 9:16Speaker 1: went on to explain that in order to keep their
- 9:18Speaker 1: job at the 3pm pickup, Brit would have had to
- 9:21Speaker 1: have stayed in Australia and Laura wouldn't have been able
- 9:23Speaker 1: to take maternity leave until mid next year. Laura reiterated
- 9:27Speaker 1: that their decision to stop doing the 3pm pickup wasn't
- 9:31Speaker 1: just due to Brit's situation, but because Laura wanted to
- 9:33Speaker 1: be more flexible with her girls. Let's have a listen
- 9:36Speaker 1: to what she said.
- 9:38Speaker 2: The thing we don't have control over is the radio
- 9:40Speaker 2: side of things. And the radio side of things is
- 9:42Speaker 2: the most restrictive. I know I kept saying like, I'm
- 9:45Speaker 2: going to have more maternity leave this year. The one
- 9:48Speaker 2: thing I can take more maternity leave from is from radio.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And now that's a possibility.
- 9:52Speaker 2: So I am able to kind of like scale down
- 9:54Speaker 2: and work until at least mid-year next year. yeah so
- 9:56Speaker 2: it's worked for both of us i don't want you
- 9:58Speaker 2: to think that it's just been this decision that had
- 10:00Speaker 2: to be made because you want to go overseas brit
- 10:01Speaker 2: yeah yeah it worked really well for both of us
- 10:04Speaker 2: and where we're at in life.
- 10:05Speaker 1: This makes a lot of sense because at the moment
- 10:08Speaker 1: laura is really burning the candle from both ends she's
- 10:10Speaker 1: got her jewelry brand tony may they're doing the podcast
- 10:13Speaker 1: the radio show i mean she's just had a baby
- 10:16Speaker 1: her plate is very full Yeah, and with podcasting, even
- 10:19Speaker 1: though most podcasts release on a set day, there's a
- 10:23Speaker 1: bit of flexibility around it. Like if you can't get
- 10:25Speaker 1: it done at a certain time, you can maybe push
- 10:27Speaker 1: the recording out to later in the day. But with
- 10:30Speaker 1: the radio, it was like 3 p.m. on the dot
- 10:33Speaker 1: five days a week. Like there's no flexibility with that.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So it makes a lot of sense. That being said,
- 10:38Speaker 1: Britt dropped some interesting info that she said she never
- 10:40Speaker 1: had any intention of sharing on the podcast, but because
- 10:43Speaker 1: we're getting to the end of the year, she didn't
- 10:45Speaker 1: have many other interesting stories. And I'm so pleased she
- 10:48Speaker 1: shared this because I actually laughed out loud. So she
- 10:51Speaker 1: said that she was recently doing some influencer work with Qantas.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And instead of receiving a cash payment, she got frequent
- 10:58Speaker 1: flyer points instead. I wonder if Britt wouldn't have accepted
- 11:01Speaker 1: this type of contra if she wasn't in a long
- 11:03Speaker 1: distance relationship. It seems like they're like, oh, do you
- 11:06Speaker 1: know who we might get across the line without paying?
- 11:09Speaker 1: Britt Hockley, just send her some points. Yeah, especially if
- 11:12Speaker 1: it means you can bump your flight up to business class.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I mean, she said she was going to be flying...
- 11:16Speaker 1: back to Australia a lot from Italy. And that's pretty
- 11:19Speaker 1: funny because the team from Qantas asked for Brit's frequent
- 11:22Speaker 1: flyer number. And she said that she keeps this in
- 11:25Speaker 1: the note section of her phone. Now the next day,
- 11:28Speaker 1: the team from Qantas rung and asked if she was
- 11:30Speaker 1: sure she had the right number. So she went back,
- 11:33Speaker 1: cross-referenced her notes and was like, yeah, yeah, that's my number. Again,
- 11:37Speaker 1: the next day she received a call from the people
- 11:39Speaker 1: at Qantas and they said, look, We just want you
- 11:41Speaker 1: to double check because it's actually not coming up with
- 11:44Speaker 1: your name. It's coming up with a different name. Is
- 11:46Speaker 1: this your frequent flyer number? So she cross-referenced it and said, well, yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 1: it is. But what name is it coming up with?
- 11:54Speaker 1: It was Jordan Thompson, her ex-tennis player boyfriend's frequent flyer number.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh, shit.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So did she get the points back? Like, can you
- 12:00Speaker 1: transfer them back over? Well, that was the first question
- 12:03Speaker 1: that Keisha and Laura asked. And she's like, no, you can't.
- 12:06Speaker 1: So for four years, Brit has been racking up frequent
- 12:09Speaker 1: flyer points flying back and forth to see her now husband, Ben,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and they've all been going to Jordan. What do you
- 12:15Speaker 1: do in that instance? Do you say, oh, well, you
- 12:16Speaker 1: owe me a couple of flights now. It's sort of
- 12:19Speaker 1: embarrassing though, because it was Britt's mistake. So she said
- 12:22Speaker 1: that when she started dating Jordan, she didn't have a
- 12:24Speaker 1: frequent flyer number. So he was booking a lot of
- 12:27Speaker 1: her flights and the points were going to her. And
- 12:29Speaker 1: so she mistakenly wrote down his number as her own.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I wonder if he noticed ages ago that he was
- 12:36Speaker 1: getting all her points and just didn't say anything. I
- 12:37Speaker 1: don't think he's aware of it, but he will be
- 12:39Speaker 1: aware of it now after this segment. Let's have a
- 12:41Speaker 1: listen to Brit's reaction to finding out.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I'm very glad.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I feel sick saying I nearly died. And I just thought,
- 12:49Speaker 1: oh my God. I wrote back to him straight away.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I said, this is a sick joke. They were like,
- 12:52Speaker 1: this is not a joke. And I said, do not
- 12:53Speaker 1: send him any more points. Spare a thought for Ben,
- 12:57Speaker 1: her now husband. I mean, they're talking about her ex-boyfriend.
- 13:00Speaker 1: She said that she was most scared to tell Ben
- 13:03Speaker 1: and she was going to keep it a secret, but
- 13:05Speaker 1: she said she's terrible at secret keeping. So I ended
- 13:07Speaker 1: up telling him and he just laughed and was like, well,
- 13:10Speaker 1: accidents happen. And she's like, well, aren't you angry? And
- 13:12Speaker 1: he's like, well, it's not ideal that all the points
- 13:14Speaker 1: have been going to him. Ben had bumped her up
- 13:16Speaker 1: to business class a few times as well. So all
- 13:18Speaker 1: of those points got to Jordan. I'd be absolutely spewing
- 13:21Speaker 1: because I'm the type of person that loves any sort
- 13:24Speaker 1: of voucher or loyalty card. Like If I don't bring
- 13:29Speaker 1: my sombreros load to a car with me, I am
- 13:31Speaker 1: absolutely cut. Could you imagine your ex getting your free burritos?
- 13:34Speaker 1: That would set you off.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Oh, fuck.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I'd hate that. Let's get into our Friday influencer dump.
- 13:40Speaker 1: And to kick things off, Liv Kelly has confirmed a
- 13:43Speaker 1: breakup and relationship revival all in one Instagram dump. So
- 13:47Speaker 1: last week, we discussed the mounting speculation that the fitness
- 13:51Speaker 1: influencer was back with her ex, Jamara Ugelhagen. The AFL
- 13:55Speaker 1: footballer had been dropping hints of a reunion on his
- 13:58Speaker 1: Instagram account, and this caused a lot of confusion as
- 14:01Speaker 1: Liv had hard-launched a long-distance relationship with Tammy Hembrough's ex-fiancé
- 14:05Speaker 1: and baby daddy, Rhys Hawkins, in August. It just goes
- 14:08Speaker 1: to show a lot can change in a few months, Amy,
- 14:11Speaker 1: particularly when your ex moves to your hometown. Because Jamara
- 14:15Speaker 1: used to play for the Western Bulldogs in Melbourne, but
- 14:18Speaker 1: he recently accepted a trade to the Suns, who are
- 14:21Speaker 1: based on the Gold Coast, which is where Liv just
- 14:23Speaker 1: so happens to live. And it seems like the chemistry
- 14:26Speaker 1: was too much to deny in close proximity. So Jamara
- 14:30Speaker 1: made an Instagram official posting a selfie with Liv in
- 14:33Speaker 1: their bathers at a hotel pool. He shared the photo
- 14:36Speaker 1: on his Instagram story and tagged Liv in it. Now,
- 14:39Speaker 1: Liv repaid the favor and she featured Jamara in her
- 14:42Speaker 1: photo dump and she captioned the post, a lot to
- 14:45Speaker 1: be grateful for. She also included a quote within the
- 14:48Speaker 1: photo dump that said, never regret the love you give.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It will return to you in another time, in another person.
- 14:54Speaker 1: in another circumstance, but it always comes back to you.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I wonder how Rhys Hawkins feels about this. I mean,
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm guessing Liv dumped his ass after he started popping
- 15:03Speaker 1: up in all of those Tammy Hebro TikToks.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I mean, it seemed like Tammy was definitely baiting him,
- 15:08Speaker 1: but he also was a willing participant in them. I mean,
- 15:11Speaker 1: it would have pissed me off. I can see why
- 15:13Speaker 1: Liv was like, what the fuck? I wonder though, if
- 15:16Speaker 1: Liv was trying to make Jamara jealous because he kind
- 15:19Speaker 1: of seems like the jealous type because he ended up
- 15:22Speaker 1: commenting under Liv's most recent Instagram dump about a particular
- 15:26Speaker 1: video that was shared within it. So in a video,
- 15:29Speaker 1: she's doing like hip thrusts at the gym and he goes,
- 15:32Speaker 1: let's relax on the hip thrusts, laugh out loud. So
- 15:35Speaker 1: I don't think he was that pleased that her followers
- 15:37Speaker 1: were also seeing it. I don't really like that. No,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I thought that was a little bit of a red flag.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I would also love to know how these two got
- 15:44Speaker 1: back together considering Liv has thrown a lot of shade
- 15:48Speaker 1: at Jamara on social media. So just to refresh listeners' memories,
- 15:52Speaker 1: they broke up in mid-2024 after dating for around two years.
- 15:56Speaker 1: And in July this year, Liv shared a video which
- 15:59Speaker 1: appeared to be aimed at him. So over the top
- 16:02Speaker 1: of the video she filmed of herself, she wrote the caption,'
- 16:05Speaker 1: When you kept silent to protect them, but find out
- 16:08Speaker 1: what they were actually doing when you weren't there. Their
- 16:11Speaker 1: projections are their actions.' Underneath this video, Liv also replied
- 16:15Speaker 1: in the comments, we love a narcissist and intuition was
- 16:18Speaker 1: right all along. It's pretty awkward. This is why you
- 16:21Speaker 1: don't put this sort of shit on social media, if
- 16:23Speaker 1: you're going to take them back. Yeah, well, it gets
- 16:25Speaker 1: worse because a month later, after hard launching her relationship
- 16:28Speaker 1: with Reese Hawkins, she shared this collection of very cute
- 16:32Speaker 1: clips of the couple and captioned the TikTok, thank God
- 16:34Speaker 1: when my family and friends ask how I'm being treated.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I don't have to lie anymore. That's doubly awkward considering
- 16:41Speaker 1: Jamara is now going to have to come back into
- 16:43Speaker 1: her life, talk to her family and friends. She's basically said,
- 16:45Speaker 1: my family hate you.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I mean, my guess is that Jamara has really worked
- 16:49Speaker 1: on himself over the last year. He had the year
- 16:51Speaker 1: off footy to address mental health issues after he admitted
- 16:55Speaker 1: he had reached rock bottom. So I'm guessing that Liv
- 16:58Speaker 1: has taken him back because he's changed. Steph Claire Smith
- 17:02Speaker 1: has revealed her husband Josh has undergone a vasectomy. Speaking
- 17:06Speaker 1: on the KickPod alongside her co-host Laura Henshaw, Steph said
- 17:10Speaker 1: they made the decision after discussing what contraception they would
- 17:13Speaker 1: like to use. Was it just me or do you
- 17:15Speaker 1: think that this conversation was too fresh for Steph to have?
- 17:18Speaker 1: Because she did break down in tears and she was like, oh,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I don't want anyone to think that I regret this
- 17:24Speaker 1: decision or I was pushed into it. But I have
- 17:27Speaker 1: to admit, that was my thought the whole time listening
- 17:30Speaker 1: to it because I It sounded like she was the
- 17:33Speaker 1: one that wanted to potentially go for a third baby
- 17:36Speaker 1: and Josh was the one that was certain he didn't
- 17:39Speaker 1: want another one.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It kind of sounded like he had persuaded her. Well,
- 17:43Speaker 1: the conversation started when Steph said that she didn't want
- 17:45Speaker 1: to go and have another IUD. And then she said, well,
- 17:49Speaker 1: Josh and I don't like to use condoms. So I mean,
- 17:51Speaker 1: to me, that was kind of like Josh doesn't like
- 17:53Speaker 1: using condoms rather than say both of us. That's what
- 17:56Speaker 1: I took from that conversation too. And then this led
- 17:59Speaker 1: to Josh and Steph having a conversation about, well, do
- 18:02Speaker 1: we actually want any more children? And Steph said that
- 18:05Speaker 1: she was really shocked to hear that Josh was happy
- 18:07Speaker 1: with two because he's come from a really large family.
- 18:10Speaker 1: So she just expected, well, we're going to have more
- 18:12Speaker 1: than two. Let's have a listen to what she said.
- 18:15Speaker 3: I think the other thing is like, because I've spoken
- 18:17Speaker 3: to some girlfriends about this and they're like, oh, but
- 18:19Speaker 3: you know, it's reversible. And like all the things say,
- 18:23Speaker 3: you know, don't go and make this decision if you're
- 18:25Speaker 3: planning to reverse it, right? If you've already got the
- 18:28Speaker 3: plan to reverse it. But I think what we also
- 18:31Speaker 3: came to and came comfortable with making the decision is like,
- 18:35Speaker 3: if say three is down the track, like I completely...
- 18:39Speaker 3: flip my mind and have this huge desire to try
- 18:42Speaker 3: again and we try the whole reversal thing and it
- 18:45Speaker 3: fails because there's a good chance that it does. It
- 18:47Speaker 3: doesn't always succeed in that. I'm comfortable with that. We
- 18:51Speaker 3: got to this place where I was like, I don't
- 18:53Speaker 3: think I will want that. I don't think after going
- 18:56Speaker 3: through it and really working through it, I don't think
- 18:57Speaker 3: I'm going to change my mind.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I found it interesting when Steph said, well, we're not
- 19:01Speaker 1: going to go into the personal reasons why we decided
- 19:04Speaker 1: that we didn't want to have a third child. I
- 19:06Speaker 1: was thinking, well, isn't this the whole episode? And then
- 19:08Speaker 1: she was listing reasons that people often would have. And
- 19:11Speaker 1: it's like, oh, financial, but oh, we don't have that.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And we, you know, we have the means to do it.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I just found it odd because it's kind of like, well,
- 19:18Speaker 1: it's okay if you don't have a third. Yeah. Like
- 19:20Speaker 1: that's completely fine.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I feel like after having one, a lot of the
- 19:25Speaker 1: time people go, oh, do you want a second one?
- 19:26Speaker 1: I feel like there's almost more pressure when you have
- 19:28Speaker 1: one Even compared to when you have none. I feel
- 19:31Speaker 1: like I've never had so many people ask me. I've
- 19:33Speaker 1: seen the TikToks when people are like, oh, first baby announcement.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Oh my God, so exciting. Second baby announcement. Oh my God,
- 19:39Speaker 1: it's so great that the other baby's going to have
- 19:41Speaker 1: a friend. Third announcement. Are you mad? Yeah. Like remember
- 19:44Speaker 1: when Laura Byrne announced her third baby? And I remember
- 19:47Speaker 1: it's like, what? I do think it was quite brave though.
- 19:50Speaker 1: of Steph to share this conversation because I feel like
- 19:52Speaker 1: a lot of couples do have it they're like oh
- 19:54Speaker 1: are we gonna have another one or is the husband
- 19:56Speaker 1: gonna get snip is that what's gonna happen the the
- 19:59Speaker 1: snip conversation is a funny one because I have I
- 20:03Speaker 1: friends who it's a little bit of an in joke
- 20:06Speaker 1: in our friendship group that the husband just needs to
- 20:08Speaker 1: go get a snip because they've had baby number three,
- 20:11Speaker 1: but he just doesn't want to do it. And it's like, oh,
- 20:12Speaker 1: come on, mate. Like your wife has literally gone through
- 20:15Speaker 1: three pregnancies. It's the least you can do. Exactly. I mean,
- 20:18Speaker 1: and then also. Anytime a man goes and does that,
- 20:21Speaker 1: they seem to have bed rest for like a week.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Whereas if you've given birth, you have to be up
- 20:25Speaker 1: all hours. Yeah, exactly. They need to get up and
- 20:27Speaker 1: get on with it. Like we have to. I was
- 20:29Speaker 1: a little bit concerned when Steph kept saying that the
- 20:32Speaker 1: vasectomy was reversible because that's not always the case. Like, yes,
- 20:36Speaker 1: in some instances it can be reversed, but there are
- 20:38Speaker 1: also instances where it can't be. And I just think
- 20:41Speaker 1: if you're unsure, then maybe one of you should go
- 20:44Speaker 1: on another form of contraception rather relying on the vasectomy
- 20:48Speaker 1: being the contraception. Sarah's day splashed the cash for her husband,
- 20:52Speaker 1: Kurt Till's birthday. Not only did they dine on the
- 20:55Speaker 1: most expensive sushi rolls Sydney has to offer, but Sarah
- 20:59Speaker 1: also surprised Kurt with his dream watch. Kate, can you
- 21:02Speaker 1: tell us more? So the couple enjoyed a 12 course
- 21:05Speaker 1: Japanese omakase at a bar in Circular Quay. Now Sarah
- 21:10Speaker 1: explained that omakase means dishes selected by the chef. So
- 21:13Speaker 1: you could tell at that point it was very expensive.
- 21:16Speaker 1: And for someone who touts themselves as a foodie, she
- 21:19Speaker 1: didn't really seem ultra impressed. So she wasn't a fan
- 21:22Speaker 1: of the restaurant's signature sushi, which she shared was the
- 21:25Speaker 1: most expensive sushi roll you could get in Sydney. She
- 21:29Speaker 1: also complained about the diner she had to share a
- 21:31Speaker 1: table with. So for this type of dining experience, you
- 21:33Speaker 1: had to sit with other couples who you don't know
- 21:36Speaker 1: and according to Sarah the two older businessmen next to
- 21:40Speaker 1: them had main character energy and dominated the conversation when
- 21:43Speaker 1: she described them like that I was like I wonder
- 21:45Speaker 1: if they thought that she had main character energy they're
- 21:48Speaker 1: probably like why are these people filming themselves I found
- 21:51Speaker 1: it ironic that complaint coming from an influencer I'm like
- 21:54Speaker 1: if anyone's got main character energy it's an influencer who's
- 21:57Speaker 1: filming themselves eating 12 courses I'm just still getting used
- 22:00Speaker 1: to seeing Kurt with no hair and it seems like
- 22:02Speaker 1: a lot of Sarah's followers are also. There were so
- 22:05Speaker 1: many comments about Kurt's shaved head. Yeah, well, someone wrote
- 22:08Speaker 1: in capitals under the video, why is he bald? To
- 22:11Speaker 1: which Sarah replied in capitals, because he shaved his head.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I got the vibe that Kurt didn't really like the
- 22:16Speaker 1: feast either because the first course was an oyster, which
- 22:19Speaker 1: he doesn't like. I mean, I just feel like the
- 22:21Speaker 1: stuff was too fancy. You know when you're like, oh,
- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm going to go to this really nice restaurant and
- 22:25Speaker 1: it's going to cost an absolute bomb. And then all
- 22:28Speaker 1: the food's a bit weird. You've got to go get
- 22:29Speaker 1: Maccas on the way home after. Yeah. I mean, I
- 22:32Speaker 1: would love to know if behind the scenes Sarah's day
- 22:35Speaker 1: actually does that because I swear she has Maccas. Oh,
- 22:37Speaker 1: she would now. I don't think in her heyday she
- 22:39Speaker 1: would have, but definitely now. Now, after the dinner, Sarah
- 22:43Speaker 1: surprised Kurt again, this time by taking him to Cartier
- 22:47Speaker 1: and buying him his dream watch. Now, the watch in
- 22:50Speaker 1: question is called the Santos and retails for... $ 13, 000. This
- 22:56Speaker 1: is nothing compared to the boat she got him for
- 22:58Speaker 1: Christmas though. Yeah, but I mean, people were like, oh,
- 23:00Speaker 1: was this like a milestone birthday? And she's like, nah,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm just a dream wife, I guess. People were absolutely shocked.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I mean, Sarah was quite sassy in the comments because
- 23:10Speaker 1: someone wrote under the video, imagine receiving a $ 13, 000 watch
- 23:13Speaker 1: for your birthday. And Sarah responded, imagine with the drooling emoji,
- 23:17Speaker 1: I'd be pretty over the moon to be honest. I
- 23:18Speaker 1: was like, Why are you being rude to your followers? Yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 1: that's probably not the best way to play it. That's
- 23:23Speaker 1: when you're meant to use the whole influencer card of
- 23:26Speaker 1: we're so grateful. Without you guys, we wouldn't be able
- 23:29Speaker 1: to do this. Yeah, it's just a copy and paste
- 23:31Speaker 1: job of how grateful you are. I mean, it didn't
- 23:34Speaker 1: seem very grateful. It kind of was like, yeah, I've
- 23:36Speaker 1: got a lot of cash. What's the issue? I mean,
- 23:39Speaker 1: obviously when you're going to post a video like that and,
- 23:41Speaker 1: you know, like the video Fadan posted of a birthday extravaganza,
- 23:45Speaker 1: You're going to have the comments of people saying it's
- 23:47Speaker 1: tone deaf and I can't believe you can afford that much.
- 23:50Speaker 1: You don't just then be bratty back to them because,
- 23:52Speaker 1: you know, that's what you've got to expect. I wonder
- 23:54Speaker 1: if they discuss how much they're going to spend each
- 23:56Speaker 1: year because if you're spending $ 13, 000 one year, do you
- 23:59Speaker 1: then have to back it up the next year? Or,
- 24:01Speaker 1: you know, when she got Kurt a boat, what did
- 24:03Speaker 1: she get him the next year? Like a packet of
- 24:05Speaker 1: jocks and socks? Like how do you work out? Yeah,
- 24:07Speaker 1: but also if you're Kurt, how do you repay the favor?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Because it's quite clear that Sarah's day is the breadwinner
- 24:14Speaker 1: of the family. And, you know, she likes to splash
- 24:16Speaker 1: her cash and spoil her family members. A couple of
- 24:19Speaker 1: years ago, she bought her dad an Aston Martin. You've
- 24:22Speaker 1: touched on the boat that she bought Kurt for Christmas.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I mean, most people aren't in a position to repay
- 24:28Speaker 1: the favor. So do you have to go down the
- 24:30Speaker 1: really thoughtful path and go, oh, I'm going to get
- 24:33Speaker 1: you this thing that's, you know, like my kids engraved
- 24:37Speaker 1: names on. You know what I mean? Like something very personal.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Well Sarah always gives across this vibe that she's disappointed
- 24:43Speaker 1: by her presence at Christmas and her birthday. Do you
- 24:45Speaker 1: get that vibe too? Like maybe I've watched too much
- 24:47Speaker 1: of her content. I've got to say I thoroughly enjoyed
- 24:49Speaker 1: Sarah's most recent vlog. It was like she was back
- 24:52Speaker 1: to her old vlogging style. She shared so much about
- 24:55Speaker 1: what was happening in their life and I just found
- 24:57Speaker 1: myself like actually really enjoying it. Well it's clear she's
- 25:01Speaker 1: had a tough trot the last year. You know she
- 25:03Speaker 1: had her third baby who had reflux. She documented how
- 25:06Speaker 1: difficult it was and it seems like she's sort of
- 25:08Speaker 1: on the other side of that and enjoying family life
- 25:10Speaker 1: a lot more now and that's reflected in her vlog content.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I do love her Christmas Day vlog.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Yes.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I hang out for that every year and I love
- 25:18Speaker 1: the fact that she films her and her kids opening
- 25:21Speaker 1: her Christmas presents and the genuine responses because as you say,
- 25:24Speaker 1: It kind of gives me the vibe of when you
- 25:26Speaker 1: look back at our old family videos and you can
- 25:28Speaker 1: kind of tell like, oh, mum didn't really like that or,
- 25:31Speaker 1: you know, that person didn't really like that. I actually
- 25:32Speaker 1: want to do that this year where I vlog my
- 25:34Speaker 1: own Christmas day and obviously not put it online but
- 25:37Speaker 1: just have it as a memento. I am mortified. So
- 25:40Speaker 1: last Christmas I set up my phone to film like
- 25:44Speaker 1: Jack opening his Christmas presents and, you know, I was like, oh, whatever,
- 25:47Speaker 1: I'll be in my PJs. Unfortunately though, I had tanned
- 25:51Speaker 1: the night before. And I– it is honestly the most
- 25:55Speaker 1: embarrassing vision I've actually watched back because I hadn't washed
- 25:57Speaker 1: the tan off. And I kind of look– I look
- 26:01Speaker 1: a bit green. I think the tan– was a bit old.
- 26:03Speaker 1: So I kind of looked like the Grinch and the
- 26:05Speaker 1: tan is just so severe. It's like so greeny brown
- 26:08Speaker 1: on my neck. And then my face is just like
- 26:09Speaker 1: completely stark white. And I'm wearing a dressing gown and
- 26:12Speaker 1: I'm like, I could not look more hideous. So this Christmas,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I either need to do my tan in advance or
- 26:18Speaker 1: have a shower before we film the present. Didn't that
- 26:20Speaker 1: vision end up getting played on your in-laws photo frame?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Like our parents and also your husband's parents, they both
- 26:27Speaker 1: got given these photo frames that you can put videos
- 26:30Speaker 1: and photos on. And I think Didn't Rhys automatically sync
- 26:33Speaker 1: that video into their frame? Oh, yeah, he sent them
- 26:36Speaker 1: a video. And, like, I nearly died because it was
- 26:39Speaker 1: quite a while after Christmas Day that I saw it
- 26:42Speaker 1: on this interactive frame. And I was in the background
- 26:45Speaker 1: of it and I was like, holy fuck, like, what
- 26:47Speaker 1: the hell? And I actually ended up removing it from
- 26:51Speaker 1: the frame. I hope it deleted. But I was like, Rhys,
- 26:55Speaker 1: could you be more careful with the things that you sent?
- 26:56Speaker 1: I was in the background of that. I feel like
- 26:58Speaker 1: I need to set my camera up. and to automatically
- 27:01Speaker 1: take photos on Christmas Day because I already know the
- 27:03Speaker 1: photos of me and Harry are going to be horrendous
- 27:05Speaker 1: if they're in Dale's hands. So I did a December
- 27:09Speaker 1: 1st box for Jack and I was sitting there like
- 27:12Speaker 1: reading him a book from the box. And mind you,
- 27:15Speaker 1: it wasn't in the morning. It was like I'd had
- 27:17Speaker 1: a day of it. Like I'd had a day of,
- 27:20Speaker 1: you know, looking after a toddler running around. I was
- 27:22Speaker 1: not looking my best. And like, you know, Rhys did
- 27:24Speaker 1: the thing that you ask all husbands to do, which
- 27:26Speaker 1: was to take some sort of like nonchalant photos of
- 27:28Speaker 1: you unaware of of you interacting with your child, like
- 27:31Speaker 1: big tick there. The photos were that dreadful though. I
- 27:34Speaker 1: was like, oh my God, is that what I look like?
- 27:35Speaker 1: And they were kind of like- You didn't, that's not
- 27:36Speaker 1: what you look like. Was it his colors of his
- 27:39Speaker 1: phone or something? The frame wasn't shut up. Samsung. Yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 1: it looked shit. Yeah, I was like, what the fuck?
- 27:44Speaker 1: You actually looked dead. Why is it zoomed up as well? Yes,
- 27:46Speaker 1: I did. And I was like, I mean, I know
- 27:48Speaker 1: that my makeup was rubbed off and whatnot, but I
- 27:50Speaker 1: was like, surely- this has got something to do with
- 27:53Speaker 1: how you took the photo. And I actually gave him
- 27:54Speaker 1: that feedback. And then he said, well, this is why
- 27:56Speaker 1: husbands don't take photos. And I'm like, it's so unfair
- 27:58Speaker 1: because the photos and videos I get with him and
- 28:00Speaker 1: Jack are so nice. Well, I realized the other day
- 28:03Speaker 1: that the reason Dale's photos are so shit is he
- 28:05Speaker 1: has an iPhone, but he holds the button on the side,
- 28:08Speaker 1: you know, like the volume button. Oh, he takes it
- 28:10Speaker 1: with the button. And I said, is his iPhone like
- 28:12Speaker 1: an iPhone 6 or something as well? And then he
- 28:15Speaker 1: takes it like, he doesn't actually hold it and look
- 28:17Speaker 1: at the person. He like takes it. sort of on
- 28:19Speaker 1: the side. There was no way that any of the
- 28:21Speaker 1: photos he took were going to be any good. Well,
- 28:23Speaker 1: we need to be good mums with each other and
- 28:24Speaker 1: just start taking that vision of ourselves when we're together.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Let's get into our Friday debrief. And I cannot believe
- 28:32Speaker 1: it is already the 12th of December. And normally we
- 28:36Speaker 1: would have already started rolling out our Christmas content last year.
- 28:39Speaker 1: We did Christmas interviews. I think we've been doing them for,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I don't know, since 2020 now. But the vibe I
- 28:44Speaker 1: was getting was people actually prefer our regular episodes. They
- 28:46Speaker 1: want a touch of Christmas. But they still want the
- 28:49Speaker 1: influencer gossip. So we're going to continue rolling out fresh
- 28:53Speaker 1: content over the Christmas period. We're not going to go
- 28:54Speaker 1: on a massive break like all of the other podcasts.
- 28:56Speaker 1: There's nothing worse than your favorite podcast goes on a break.
- 28:59Speaker 1: And you're like, what am I meant to listen to?
- 29:00Speaker 1: I heard something. I think it was Abby Chatfield. I
- 29:02Speaker 1: was listening to her podcast and she was saying that
- 29:04Speaker 1: normally she has a six-week break over Christmas from her podcast,
- 29:08Speaker 1: but she's not this year. And I was like, oh,
- 29:10Speaker 1: my God, that's right. Everyone goes away for such a
- 29:12Speaker 1: long time. You have to listen to like reruns or–
- 29:16Speaker 1: And I'm very envious of the podcasts that also are
- 29:19Speaker 1: so big that they have a middle of the year
- 29:22Speaker 1: break too. So we're going to be releasing bite-sized episodes
- 29:25Speaker 1: that will keep you up to date with what's going
- 29:27Speaker 1: on in the influencer world across that break. There'll be
- 29:30Speaker 1: a bit of Christmas fun within those episodes as well.
- 29:32Speaker 1: We're going to be doing our annual influencer 2026 predictions.
- 29:36Speaker 1: We're also going to be looking back at the top
- 29:39Speaker 1: 10 influencers. stories of 2025 i'm actually sad though kate
- 29:43Speaker 1: that we're not doing the influencer celebrity interviews this year
- 29:47Speaker 1: about you know what they're doing for christmas Because we
- 29:50Speaker 1: could have had a really interesting interview with Bonnie Blue.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I can't even keep a straight face. So basically, Bonnie
- 29:55Speaker 1: Blue's PR people reached out and they said, oh, we
- 29:58Speaker 1: think it'd be a really great fit for this podcast.
- 30:00Speaker 1: They're obviously trying to get a lot of publicity about
- 30:03Speaker 1: her because she was at school. She's now in Bali,
- 30:05Speaker 1: apparently facing 15 years in a hellhole jail, according to
- 30:08Speaker 1: the Daily Mail. So imagine having Bonnie Blue on talking
- 30:12Speaker 1: about her Christmas. Yeah, they've actually sent up a few follow-ups.
- 30:14Speaker 1: They're quite desperate to get her on Outspoken, but we've
- 30:17Speaker 1: said no. I don't know if it's the vibe of the,
- 30:21Speaker 1: you know, the podcast or something that we really want
- 30:24Speaker 1: to be promoting. But I did laugh though when that
- 30:27Speaker 1: interview request came through. We get so many now from
- 30:29Speaker 1: like these random PR companies. And I think, do you
- 30:31Speaker 1: even listen to the podcast? Like clearly this is like
- 30:33Speaker 1: a send it around CC, blind CC, this interview request. Well,
- 30:37Speaker 1: we got one from a PR company that clearly got confused.
- 30:40Speaker 1: They're like, we'd love to have so-and-so on Outspoken Beauty.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I'm like, wrong podcast. I was going to write back
- 30:45Speaker 1: and say, this is just Outspoken. We're not a beauty podcast.
- 30:49Speaker 3: No.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Well, there is one called Outspoken Beauty, so it does exist,
- 30:52Speaker 1: but it's not us. That is where we're going to
- 30:53Speaker 1: leave things today. We'll be back in your ears on Tuesday.
- 30:57Speaker 1: But if you do want to hear more content from
- 30:58Speaker 1: us in the meantime, we drop a subscriber-only episode every Thursday.
- 31:02Speaker 1: We had a very juicy topic about Ashley Bynes' new
- 31:06Speaker 1: personal development vault. It only had 75 people sign up.
- 31:10Speaker 1: out of the million followers that she has. So it
- 31:12Speaker 1: wasn't really a great conversion right there. The best thing
- 31:14Speaker 1: about Outspoken Plus is that once you sign up, you
- 31:17Speaker 1: can listen to all of the old episodes. So if
- 31:19Speaker 1: you're looking for a podcast to listen to over Christmas,
- 31:21Speaker 1: Outspoken Plus, that could be a good little Christmas gift.
- 31:25Speaker 1: A great Christmas present to tell your partner to get
- 31:27Speaker 1: you because it just keeps giving the whole year. The
- 31:28Speaker 1: gift that keeps giving. Well, I think that's all we've
- 31:31Speaker 1: got time for. I hope you guys have a lovely weekend.
- 31:33Speaker 1: And this episode was recorded on the traditional land of
- 31:36Speaker 1: the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains. We pay respect
- 31:39Speaker 1: to elders past and present.
